Customer service was 100/10!! Very nice workers and Very helpful!!

In store service - awesome. Customer support from the company after he sale - forget about it. We bought two $7xx chairs. When they were delivered, it was clear that one did not look very similar to the other. The base cusion sat like it was a used piece or missing support. Weakm and they are attached to the chair base so the whole lower piece would need to be repalced. We have chased customer service on this, sent videos and picture only to ginally get a "sorry, no return policy" response. We will nto be buying anything from Ashely, ever. Sad because the store people are great. But you better receive an item that is perfect, or have them send it to the store so you can asses it before accepting the item. EDIT POST RESPONSE - The number we were given for service was 855-645-2388. We have followed up on our ticket again this afternoon and pretty much chewed the @#$! out of your people and have been promised a call tomorrow. Based on previous promises by CS - we will see if that happens because we've heard that before.

He was knowledgeable about the products that they had in store and online he was patient as we shopped around with two young kids in the store, great experience and was able to help us compare brands without being condescending or rude about any other stores in the area! 1010. Customer service is superb. The best I've experienced in a long while. Rios, Shelby, Elia & the managers are all very pleasant & attentive. My daughter & I originally went in looking to get her a new bedroom set. Everything went so well with the approval process being so quick & easy, I went back later that day and got a brand new living room set too. Absolutely recommend getting all your furniture from these sweet folks!!!

Enjoy looking found what? We wounded purchased it and was told it would be delivered on the 21st of March. But I got a phone call Friday saying we will not. Be able to get it until around after the 25th of March. So now we do not get our furniture until the 28th of March. If you decide to make a change of this I will be going back with my money back.Thank you

Went in looking for a night stand. Rios was very nice and helpful in pointing us in the right direction. Once we found one we liked, Gilbert tried to work with us to negotiate a deal on it. We were close but unfortunately we couldn't agree on the numbers for a deal but his customer service was top notch. I appreciate his time and effort to work with us even though we couldn't make a deal.

Store was nice and clean, had a lot to look at and choose from. James was the associate who assisted us along the way and was really professional and informative of any questions we had.

I had already researched a few websites and knew what I was looking for. When I fo I md the right item ND sat down, James came over to talk, but did not.push. I ended making my purchase, and setting the delivery date. I've never had an easier.time while shopping for furniture

Had a great experience shopping at Ashley’s in Abilene Texas last night. Was greeted by Jimmy, one of the sales representatives when we first arrived in the store. He was very friendly and professional. He allowed my wife and I to look around at all the furniture and would check by on us to see if we needed anything and give us information about the set we were looking at, which was very helpful. We were also greeted by the GM, can’t recall his name at the moment, he wanted to make sure we were being taken care of and to let him know if there was anything we needed. As we were making our file decision the sale was completed by Rios who was also very friendly and professional. She helped ensure are checkout processes went smoothly. Was very happy with our shopping experience with everyone that worked at Ashley’s I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great shopping experience to choose Ashley furniture as their first choice.

I came in to get a mattress with a pre approval from acima. The payments were too high so Rios suggested a soft pull that would not show on my report. I told her I didn’t feel it would work with synchrony. She ran it soft pull not on credit and I didn’t qualify. She then suggest doing the same soft pull with synchrony with my husbands info. Only that is not what she did. She did a hard pull from a company called tower loan which shows on my husband’s report. So very disappointing in the dishonesty with this company.

I must have called 5 stores to get help in purchasing box springs. When I called Ashley, Jonathan was so helpful and kind that I quickly decided to purchase with Ashley. The process was easy and he stayed on the line with me to guide me through the process.

I have bought from Ashley’s here in Abilene several times. They never disappoint us. The staff is always great to work with. The employees Kiera and Daniel and the sales manager that I got to work with last week were amazing. They all took care of the what needed. We got our stuff ordered and got everything worked out. Kiera, Daniel, and the sales manager were absolute professionals. They are so sweet people and really know how to work as a team.

Horrible experience at this store and with Ashley overall. Was fast talked and misinformed about my purchase years ago. The same sales rep all but ignored me when I went back to the Abilene store recently only to find out I was lied to. The manager took my info and promised I would hear from them in a week or less, it’s been 3 weeks and they haven’t followed up.

We came in and bought a lot of new furniture peices and they were supposed to deliver on Thursday but did not. Waited till Friday and did not. Buying stuff is easy, but dont expect them to deliver or keep their promise of delivery. When you make a buisness deal with someone they are supposed to keep up their end, this company failed miserabley at this and needs massive reconstruction so this problem dosent keep happening. delivery center failed and should be embarrassed of themselves. Not likely to shop here anymore due to delivery center and the way they do buisness and handle themselves. John and Jimmy and Rios were all fantastic in store but please address this so this dosent happen again.

I swear to NEVER buy from here ever again. I never write negatively about something, because I am very forgiving and I understand things may happen. But the situation with this furniture store has gotten out of hand. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me... 2 years ago my husband and I purchase a furniture piece that took 6 months to arrive. We said we will never buy from them again. But two years later, after going around all the furniture places in my hometown and not finding what I wanted, we went to Ashley Furniture to see the nightstands. And sadly, I liked one pair. My husband refused to get it from them but I worked very hard to convince him to get them since they were the only ones I liked. BIG MISTAKE. We even talked to the saleswoman and mentioned last time we had a negative experience and she promised those two nightstands were in stock in Fort Worth. She said it will take some days, maybe a week to arrive. We believed her and bought them. Then the nightmare began, the day they were supposed to arrive, we were waiting for them with excitement. I had purchase some nightstand lamps and I prepare the room to receive them and was ready to enjoy them... but we never got a confirmation text. When we called, the person in the phone said that they didn't had them in stock and that they were arriving from China in a month. Sad and upset, we put our lamps away and waited for a month. TWO MONTHS LATER and we still didn't have the nightstands. We tried calling but no one could help us. We just kept seeing how the delivery date kept moving and moving. Then finally we got a text for delivery, I didn't want to get my hopes up. I said to my husband: "I will believe it when I see it". I took a day out of work to receive them. The truck arrived and the delivery guys asked where I wanted the nightstand. I mentioned there should be two and he said he only had one for me. After bringing it inside my house, I realized it was different than the one I have chosen in the store. This one had marble on the top and I wanted the all wood one. I told them I would rather keep it, at least have something... so I was forced to accept this one and like it. But now the problem was, where is the other nightstand!? After calling, they told us the other nightstand would arrive a month later. But that date kept moving forward. 1 week later, then 2 weeks later, etc.. FINALLY, they didn't move the date and it was supposed to arrive TODAY. My husband took a day out of work so we didn't miss it. He waited but no text arrived, finally he checked online and it says our delivery was CANCELED!!!!!!! and now it has been moved one month and 1 week later. They offered us $30 for the inconvenience. REALLY? At this point, I don't expect anything from them, but I know I will NEVER purchase from here ever again and I will tell everyone I know here to don't even consider this furniture place. It has been the most terrible experience to something I was really excited and looking forward to. I still have my one lamp waiting to be installed after 5 months of waiting. My husband let me have the one nightstand that arrived but he still sleeps with no nightstand. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER FURNITURE OPTIONS, CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE.

I Love Everything About my Experience at Ashley Abilene. The Quality of Furniture is there in both items the Instore salesman was Great. The only Negative I have is the $459.00 Delivery Fee after Spending $5000.00+ Cash with you guys. $150.00 is a fair delivery price going 15 miles and the time it takes to set it up..

Worst buying experience I have EVER had!! I will never buy anything from Ashley’s ever again and I will tell all friends and family to steer clear of this furniture store. Sales people lie about delivery fees, general manager lies about refunds, they forgot to deliver my furniture after paying obnoxious delivery price, then they finally delivered a broken chair!! So after 3 months, I have a broken full price chair and their customer service is nothing but a non human bot service so still waiting for the brand new couch to be fixed since they refused to replace it. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY furniture!!!!!

Ashley delivery service sucks. They want to deliver why people work,they think we can sit around for 3 hours waiting for delivery. What they don't tell you is that you can't set a schedule at your convenience, it's at their convenience and their times in the am hours. This sucks!

We had a fantastic experience buying a mattress at Ashley in Abilene. Sam & Rios were excellent and fun to buy from.

In mid April my husband was due to have heart surgery. One of the follow up instructions was to sleep in a recliner. Unfortunately at the time we did not own one. After reviewing the local furniture stores we decided that Ashley had the best selection. We looked at their selection and another stores and quickly returned to Ashley. The clerk was so friendly and when we mentioned that we had a time constraint she went out of her way to get the chair delivered before the surgery. Ashley Furniture will be the first place I look if/when I need a piece of furniture.

Went to the Abilene Ashley store and was promptly greeted by Ty. We were very specific as to what we were looking for and Ty showed us everything that met our needs. He was so nice to show us what the tags on the furniture meant and let us look for awhile. He eventually showed us a different material than what we asked for and we loved it! He was just amazing at hearing our requests and any concerns and so willing to work up prices as we changed our minds or added other products. He was patient and kind. We left so pleased with the whole experience. We’d shopped around and Ty at Ashley’s treated us the best!

WORST Customer Service ever I hope this is public the supervisor for online purchases didn't respond to my issues, the sales associate lied to me told me to text him when I did he seemed not to know who I was very unsettling I still get emails I've blocked them but there still coming to my Inbox

Wife and I had a great experience today looking for new furniture, Ty greeted us very enthusiastic to show us around for living room furniture and explained all the different grades plus discounts… After about an hour looking we nailed it down to two different sets.Ty gave us all the details and differences between them plus I asked him many questions as he answered all of them. We are very pleased with our new furniture and can’t wait to get it home. Ty was so eager to help and amazing to work with…Thank you !

I looked online to find the product I wanted. I went to the store, and Daniel greeted me as I walked in. I asked him about what I was looking for. He directed me to the area. I didn't find what I was looking for. So I pulled up what I had looked at online. Daniel went, and got a supervisor, and we actually found a better item than what I wanted. I don't remember the supervisor's name. I think it was Johnathan, but I could be wrong. Overall my experience was excellent.

Excellent customer service and assistance with my home furniture purchase. Rios and the team were helpful including the floor model furniture we needed to pick up.

My wife and I came in looking for a matress and we were blown away. Chris helped us find one that both of us felt was just the perfect one. I was apprehensive coming to the store since our last experience a couple of years ago wasn't that great. However, Jim, Rios and Chris made our whole experience painless and wonderful. They were courteous, attentive and answered and address all the questions and/or concerns that we have pertaining to the sale. Overall they did a magnificent job in customer service.

Daniel was outstanding and would highly recommend! Everyone was as nice as could be and made me feel so comfortable being in the store.

Ashley Furniture has a great selection and works with pricing. Let me just say, we have never been SOLD a vehicle OR furniture. We always know what we want when we go to a dealership or furniture store. We like to use our eyeballs and fingers to see and feel the different options. We almost left the store because the associate was so extremely pushy when there was literally no reason to be. He would not give us a moment to discuss our options in private and the overt, cliché salesman bit with the giant “salesman of the year ring” in our faces was almost too much for us—could’ve been a Saturday Night Live skit and we wouldn’t have been the wiser. We plan to continue shopping there, but the thirst for the sale was downright comical.

My sales manager was so awesome I bought a coffee table and 2 ends tables. First time in this location, loved the variety of furniture.

While shopping for a new bed, the customer service was great. We ended up purchasing a bed and two dressers.. there was a promo that advertised a free Playstation 5 with purchase over a certain amount.. our salesperson informed us we only had to spend another $82 in order to redeem that promo to get the PS5 and we ended up spending a little over $4,000. A couple of days later we were informed the promo wasn't valid, in order to make it valid we had to do redo the whole process, okay no big deal... which led us to redoing the process 2 more times due to computer entry errors. Today, we were notified by a second party that our whole order was cancelled by the store and we would have to redo the process again for a fourth time and I'm not sure why?? At this point, I do not care about the PS5 and we have yet to hear from anyone that works at Ashley about our order. So because the employees in store didn't know the stipulations of the promo our whole order was cancelled. Did we want the PS5... of course, but we didn't go in there with the intention of leaving with any sort of prize for buying furniture.

Our sales team was lovely and we bought more than expected HOWEVER, I was very disappointed in the ‘corporate policy’ that said we did not qualify for the free PlayStation after spending almost $5k. The store manager claimed it was a corporate policy that rendered us invalid to qualify for the promotion, but I saw it as a corporate ‘bait and switch’ where the signs posted did not match the policy in the store. I am considering canceling my order now and going to another store to order the furniture.

I'll start by saying I have had decent experiences with Ashley furniture in the past. But there is one salesman that is ridiculous. Talks at a rate of 90 mph. Bounces around customer to customer like a kid with ADHD, which meant he couldn't answer our questions we had. Talks about all this success in business he's had making millions, ok great, calm down and sell me a sofa... I knew he was full of it when he completely fabricated a story about he and another worker helping another local restaurant get started. He didn't realize I knew actual owners of the restaurant. Lived here most of my life. i know a few people. ;) Had to chuckle about it, but don't see myself going back. Went and got what we needed from another company. I'm not naming names, but if you see this, cmon. You know me. Do better, be better.

The Abilene store itself could & should take notes from Rios. Once the sale was made in the store they no longer care. But Rios has been a blessing! Team RIOS!

The salesmen are very pushy and tacky and will lie to make sales (or are up knowledgeable to tell untruths). My salesman bragged about how much money he made and was incorrect about all aspects of delivery. The delivery itself was easy after I worked out all the incorrect bits the salesman told me, and the furniture in the end is nice

My husband and I were on a mission to purchase a sectional for our home. We arrived and began inquiring from salesmen Jace and Jon. They were an absolute pleasure! They showed us items that aligned with what we were looking for and did not make us feel pressured at all! Although we decided on a couch from a different furniture store, both Jace and Jon were kind and understanding! Salesman was great at talking us into a sectional, but we've been having issues with it nearly since day 1. We've been waiting months for a repair and now that I've taken a half day off work, they can't come. In fact, they won't be out for another month. After calling the warranty department they stated that there is nothing they can do about it. I'm beyond frustrated. I spent WAY too much on a couch that's just falling apart. After multiple phone calls and trying to rearrange my schedule to fit theirs, I get the response that "it's not their department" (from EVERY DEPARTMENT). Definitely not worth the time and money that it has cost me.

Update: Y'all let me tell you Harry is the man! I initially had given this Ashley's a 1 star and sworn to never return. However, we were trying to find a new dining room table and my SO sent me off to Ashley's. Harry greeted me as soon as I walked in. He was attentive, accommodating and mostbof all super patient. We purchased more than just a table. The entire staff and their managers were amazing. I don't know what's changed in the last year at this store, but the culture is so much better. I can't wait to go back for my bedroom set. Thanks Harry! I never give one star ratings; however, I have never felt discriminated against until walking into this store. We have 2 houses, one in Austin and one in Abilene. Our intentions were to use Ashley's to furnish our home in Abilene as we did in Austin. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone. I walked around for 40 minutes and was NEVER spoken to. Several others walked in after and were attended to. I found a woman sitting in the very back and asked her for what I was looking for. She pointed to 3 directions and NEVER got up or called for any assistance. I understand not hovering over customers, but not helping is different. I eventually walked out, but Im sure no one noticed. Truly very sad experience. Do better Ashley's.

Such a good experience! I had decided a few months ago to buy furniture and I just had not gone to pick it out. I heard they had a sale going so I planned a trip and saw exactly what I wanted within a few minutes. Walked around about 20 more minutes but already had decided. Purchased on Monday and delivered on Friday. Beautiful and I love it!

It is now 7/26/23 and no delivery date set. Started as a great experience but now I just want to get it over! By the way, payment made in full at the time of purchase. Salesmen were great but in the end I am not happy with how they have done us. Overcharged us on chair which was not the amount we agreed to. Also charged delivery fee for item we got ourselves at store. Been trying for almost 4 weeks to get this taken care of and keep getting the run around. My advice is not to go there. I will never go back there. I have contact cooperate office now so lets see if they return my call. I just see that you replied to my review. I did not see where to reply to you. I have tried to reach out and work with Aracell Rios. I keep getting the run around that someone should be contacting me. No one has. I want someone to get this corrected and someone to call me from cooperate office.

Had a lift chair sent to my mother in Tx. I went to the Ashley store in my hometown in NC to see the lift recliners avail first, chose one, then called the Ashley store in mom’s hometown in Tx to place the order. My salesman was Badge. I went in just for a mattress purchase. While looking I just browsed other furniture of interest. He took the time to explain to give a full presentation on each piece of furniture I looked even tho I wasn't there for anything else. He was very patience and most importantly, he was honest and gave direct answer to questions. My purchase budget expanded an extra $700 then my original budget based off the comfort level He gave my wife & I. I went to 5 other furniture stores before and all I got from sales associates from most expensive to the least expensive but no idea what was the difference. Coming from a sales background, I was very impressed and will be back yo get new furniture for the house from him and willing to spend more because of the education from his presentation. VERY SATISFYIED!

Rios was our sales person in December of 2022. She informed us our furniture would arrive no later than February. In January we never get the call about our furniture so we call Rios who informs us she is now assistant manager that customer service says March she has no clue. As manager u should know what's going on with ur orders especially the customer u sold to. The customer service set up March 1st then never showed. Then said they would have to reschedule for March 15th. If you want a nightmare go to Ashley's in abilene. The manager Charlotte will not get things done correctly. Now we have battery issue from day one and neither of them are trying to fix the problem fast. 300.00 down the the drain. Save money go to gallery furniture they save u 500 to 600 off ashley furniture I learned this. I will never buy corporate again.

The lady that helped me with my purchase was great. Very knowledgeable and made sure I got the best deal. But the RUDE salesman who kept calling her away from helping me to fill out paperwork for his mattress sale was unbelievable. The lady was called away and I was left sitting mid purchase for around 30 minutes. She came back and we began to work on my purchase again when believe it or not, the same man shows up tells her he has another mattress sale and needs her to come help him again! This time she told him she needed to finish my transaction to which he replied. I can wait maybe 5 minutes for you to finish but I really need you now. I guess my money wasn't worth the same as HIS customer's money . I asked is he your boss. She stated that he is not a boss. He has just been here a long time. The way he made me feel as a customer indicates it may be time for him to go! Oh and by the way, I have been a customer service trainer for several corporations over the past 25 years or so. His cutthroat method of sabotaging his coworkers sales to promote his own if archaic and off-putting.

Went to Ashley tonight to see if the living room set was still available that I looked at a month ago. I went it and sure enough they still had the set I was really wanting and the sales person came over and told me they had a 30% off sale. So I couldn’t pass up nearly 2 grand discount and they had the paperwork fixed up really quick and worked out all the details that fit my budget and are getting it delivered before Christmas. They were really fast and friendly and the protection plan they have Is really great if you don’t have claims for the five years you get your money back. I definitely recommend going and checking them out if your looking to buy furniture.

We ordered furniture the week of Presidents’ Day. We were told delivery April time frame ( which seems crazy) but we agreed. The delivery date got pushed to May then July. So we cancelled. Long story but we never received the furniture and were basically sold furniture that they could not get. Whole experience was terrible. Won’t be back.

We love this store however it would be nice if we could walk in without being smothered by a particular salesman each time that we go in (not going to put his name here). I understand it’s their job to make a sell but if we state that we are just looking around more than once and still get smothered… We just want to leave. Not to mention the salesman was not even the person that greeted us this time. The poor girl that greeted us was probably being poached by him. Being asked what my credit score is during a “5 minute” life changing demo of a mattress is annoying and is the reason why I told my wife to get up when we were 17 mins into the “5 minute” demo. I don’t care if you sold 1 million worth of sales last year on the mattress… what does that have to do with the life changing demo? He mentioned it like 4 times in his sales pitch. Who cares dude? We are considering buying couches from here soonish but I really hope I am not smothered with sales tactics when we are trying to make a decision. Some customers just want to be left alone people!

Ashley's is absolutely worthless. After our experience they definitely deserve a brick through their window. Never shop with them. To start they delivered the couch to the completely wrong address in the wrong city. Then refused to deliver the whole couch to the correct address and made us wait a 2 more months for just half of the couch to arrive. We had ordered two extra pieces to go with the couch, but was not sure if we would need them and we were told if we didn't need them that they could be returned. Well then we had to wait 3 more months for the rest of the couch to be delivered to find out that we didn't need one of the extra pieces, but then we were told that we couldn't return it even after all of their mistakes and having to wait for the whole couch just to find out we didn't need the extra piece. Customer service was zero help and so was the manager I spoke to. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Do not buy from this company! Ordered a bedroom set on 26 Jan 2022, and still have not received the entire order…it’s now September!!!!! Spent $4K and I now regret it. Staff and delivery drivers are respectful, however that does not help the fact I’m waiting 9 months on a very expensive purchase. They will call me back tomrrow to reschedule the headboard for the 5th time. Again, do not purchase from this company unless you can walk out the door with your purchase same day.

Besides the long wait (over six months for a dining table), poor customer service (delivery time was scheduled and then they called to schedule delivery again on the day it was supposed to be delivered then the rep told me the first scheduling was approximate even though I had multiple text and email confirmations with them with a date and time saying it would be delivered), when the table was finally delivered a week later than originally scheduled, the delivery people hadn't secured it in the truck and my husband overheard them cursing when they opened the truck and saw the table had fallen. Then they brought the boxes in and tried to rush us for a signature, my husband insisted on opening the box first and the table leg was broken and there was an approx 20 in scratch across the top of the table. Still don't have a replacement table. And customer service keeps telling us they'll call back with more information, but they don't.

I found the perfect sofa and dining table. However, when I tried to make the purchase, the store didn’t accept debit cards as credit cards. When I explained my card works as credit card for high dollar purchases, they advised their store doesn’t allow credit card option for debit cards. First time I encountered. After going two days in a row to try to purchase, they did not know what to do. I had to go somewhere else and get a less preferred items. Hopefully they resolve this issue, so I can go back as they had great options.

We got to work with Michelle, and it was a pleasure. Michelle was very patient with us. We bounce around from sofa to sofa. Then to mattress to reclining bases. She listened to our wants and needs. My parents bought two recliners from Ashley furniture in Abilene Texas. One chair is broke and has been broke since they delivered it. My mom keeps getting all these phone numbers to call and every time she calls these numbers they don’t service the Abilene area. So I will be telling people do not buy furniture from Ashley furniture unless they want to be screwed. They got their money so they’re not worried about how quality their furniture is or fixing stuff that come in broken

Once the sale is done, they no longer care about the customer. They give false information, it seems they are all told different things. One of the ladies in the back is very unprofessional and gossips in front of customers. I honestly wish we could back out and return the ONE item we have received and take our business elsewhere.

We met new manager, Charlotte, and worked with sales associate Chris. Both were professional and able to answer our questions in order for us to make a good decision on our purchase. Chris is an excellent go-to person for assistance and finding the best value.

In March 2022, we ordered a console table from Ashley Furniture and were told it would arrive in two weeks. However, it took three months for us to receive the furniture. We vowed never to buy from Ashley again. In March 2024, we found the nightstands we wanted at Ashley Furniture and decided to give them another chance. The sales representative assured us it would take two weeks for the delivery. After a month of waiting, we called customer service only to discover that the nightstands were on backorder and wouldn’t arrive until the end of April. April came and went, and upon reaching out again, we were told we would receive the nightstands in May. By the end of May, we still had not received any notification. We contacted them once more, only to be informed that the delivery would not happen until June. Finally, we received an official delivery date. When the delivery arrived, it was the wrong nightstand, and we only received one instead of the two nightstands we ordered. Now, we are left waiting for the other nightstand, which they said would not arrive until August. Based on our prior experience, I am doubtful it will arrive even then. I have never left a public negative review about a company, but in this case, I think it’s important for anyone interested in shopping at Ashley Furniture to know about our terrible experience. This is the last time we are ever buying anything from Ashley Furniture again.

Walked into the store and I was met with lovely lady Jessica. I was very impressed with her knowledge. She answered every question that I had and took me around the store while taking our time to look. She was able to help me decide what would be best for my home in conjunction with my décor. I felt like I had a designer with me at all times. She was a large help. She made me feel like I was working with a friend. She helped me out several times and gave me new ideas. She is keeping me up to date on my orders. I felt more confident with my purchase than I have in a long time when buying furniture. I appreciate everything she did for me and is continuing to do for me.

Customer service at the Abilene location is poor, not to mention one of the female associates went into our information and contacted my husband asking him for a date 🤣 The place is a joke and under stocked and the customer service like I said was POOR.

DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR BACKORDER LIES!!!! Let me tell you about this Ashley store. My mother and I have shopped at Ashley’s for over 18 years and have never been mistreated, lied to, and taken for a run like we have. I ordered a full living room set (sectional, end table, coffee table, sofa table, and tv stand) in May, 2021. We were told it would be ready in July, okay not so bad. July rolls around, they then tell us November. November rolls around, and now it’s January, and so on and so on. Until today!! I am able to get my sectional and end table while the rest of the order will be ready in April. To find out today, they didn’t order the wedge for my sectional so I have 3/4s of a couch. We go to the store and they tell us there’s nothing they can do for now, they couldn’t check what was in stock, and they couldn’t sell us what was on the floor. This is all I’ve ever heard from corporate, customer service, and people in the store. Also let me tell you, the lady that worked with us today LITERALLY said to my face that if my order isn’t complete and someone else needs something that is already in the warehouse from my order, they give it to that person! THEY HAVE BEEN GIVING AWAY FURNITURE I PAID FOR. How long do they give away pieces in my order until I finally get my furniture. I have made payments on this furniture (that I do not have) for ten months. I have found out I was pregnant and had a child who is almost 2 months before I have gotten one piece of furniture. I have been through hell with these people and have not be offered one solution, one piece of compensation, or anything. Do not believe the back order lies they sell you. You will never get your furniture because they’ll continue to give it away but expect full compensation for the furniture you do not have. I have been waiting 10 months for furniture and at this point I don’t believe I will ever actually get any. If you want to buy furniture do not, I repeat DO NOT! Go to this store.

Walked into the store 30 minutes before closing (we'd done all of our shopping & research the day before), the sales girl (forget her name) was happy to help. Since I knew what I wanted I had all paperwork & payment done & was back out the door in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, items ate on backorder like everything these days but so far the experience was excellent. There was no pressure the day before when we were researching & they allowed us to browse & sit the way we wanted without being up our rears pressuring us but made sure we were aware they were available for questions should we have any. In june 2021 purchased furniture & still have not received it as of today (7 mo. Later). Have tried to call the store & never get an answer. My Ashley card now shows that no pending transaction exist. The same thing happened with an online order & that item has not been received (now 8 mo). I guess Ashley has canceled my order(s) with no contact at all.

Ashley Homestore of Abilene Texas deserves absolutely NO STARS. On 2/12/2021 my husband and I paid almost $1600 for an entire sectional and ottoman set. It is now 12/4/2021 and I have yet to receive any of the pieces or any information about the purchase. I have called many many times and have had to wait hours only to be hung up on. The one time the phone was answered I was told that the couch would be at the warehouse the following weekend and nothing else. DO NOT buy from this place!

Only four stars due to not having my couch yet. Salesman was courteous and helpful. But one star only for having to pay a delivery charge. If you don't pay for the delivery charge you have to drive to Lubbock to pick up your items.

Have yet to receive my purchase after paying cash back in March. They refused to give me a time frame and still haven't processed my refund. Paying cash might give you a discount but if you never receive the items who cares how much you pay. Might as well take some money and light it on fire.

Guaranteed in stock was a joke. I drove an hour to see their furniture. Not in stock. Wanted to deliver and charge extra. Non of the stuff I picked out was in the store. We drove our can all that way for nothing.

earlier this year we purchased, new dining room table/chairs. couch, love seat, over sized chair and ottoman, TV stand- towers and top , buffet table, coffee table, and end tables for our living room. We we just browsing the other day and come to find out it was the Black Friday sale, our salesman was excellent. His product knowledge and price breakdown ability was second to none. Ashley's always has had excellent products but the service we've gotten there has also been great. The one time we had an issue it was corrected quickly and painlessly. And even gave us some store credit. I never feel pushed into anything and the salesman highest concern is that the customer leaves happy. Will be where we buy all future furniture and will continue to tell people about the experiences we have had.

(No stars if I could) DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! My wife and I were told we would have the furniture in our home in 6 days. Called on the 6th day to verify delivery and was told we would maybe have the furniture in our home in 3 weeks. We sold our furniture to make way for the new ones coming!!! I immediately asked for a refund. Cannot believe you allow your employees to make fake promises like this to get a sale. You will NEVER have my business again.

Extremely aggravating when no one answers the phone and we are having to wait till December and January for our furniture when we were told the day (first Saturday in October) we purchased it that it would be in around 3 weeks... We understand that there are delays everywhere but don't tell your customers something that's not true just to sell your quota... We've bought a lot furniture from Ashley this past year... We walked thru the store last Thursday for about 45 minutes and none of the salesman spoke with us. We tried again this evening, knowing exactly what we wanted, and the service was much better. The first salesman that saw us, greeted us and helped us with our transaction. We had already decided exactly what we wanted so there was no sales pitch required, but he was extremely friendly and professional. I would rate 4 stars, only because of our bad experience last week. This visit redeemed our want to do business with this store.

I went in with a $25 gift card that I'd been carrying around for TWO YEARS. Forgotten I'd had it and it had become obsolete. But they graciously honored it anyway. Buyer Beware!!! Purchased a couch and loveseat during the 4th of July sale and was told we would receive it in 4-6 weeks. When we heard nothing on week six we called and where told it would be another 6-8 weeks. That 4-6 was an estimate and even after waiting 6-8 more weeks they can’t guarantee it will be delivered. DO NOT buy from Ashley’s they have now done this to us twice. (Once on our kitchen table) and now. They are rude over the phone and come up with excuse after excuse on the delivery date after being told in store it would be six weeks at most multiple times after a customer walked in and warned us not to buy from Ashley because he had been waiting 10 weeks for his purchase and had not received it. I wish I had listened. Edit: We called management and where told our order would arrive November 26th it is now December 3rd and we called and where told it would be another month. DO NOT BUY from this store

BUYER BEWARE! I will continue to post further reviews until furniture delivered. Practicing the art of brevity, I wanted to state to the general public that you should take your business elsewhere. We purchased our furniture in March and have received one excuse after another. If you drive up to the Abilene location, you will see that the outdoor sign is in tatters and that should have been the first red flag to us (sign is still in disrepair). We were informed by the salesman that we should have our furniture in no less then six weeks, this was a lie. I have owned, or been partnered with several business organizations so believe me when I tell you (general public) that the sales pitches given by associates are delusional at best, and I will place the blame on upper management (owners - which is a couple out of Lubbock that already own over 10 other furniture management locations throughout Texas and New Mexico). Covid-19 is a fallback excuse given by Customer Service which they are shielding there inept behavior behind. I have taken a tally (speaking with previous Ashley Furniture Abilene customers) and have noticed that the slim majority of Customers that financed the furniture received all or at least 60% of products by given timeline. A question that does arise is the following - Does management give more priority to finance customers since they do not want to hurt their relationship with leasing companies such as Progressive? Does Progressive leasing, as a third party merchant finance company, need to be aware of their behavior? Do cash customers have to wait in line and be treated like livestock with dull excuses that even bore the snails in my garden? I am fully aware of current shipping delays due to Covid-19 (as 40% of their furniture does come from China) but is seems like this kind of corporate behavior goes way back before the pandemic. So now more questions arise...Since we have been informed of a refund and would "receive notification in 24 to 48 hours" and yet no attempt at contact by them has been made, does this constitute theft? We will be investigating legal remedy, should we inform the office of the state attorney general of possible criminal behavior along with financial remedy in a civil court of law? Should we inform the following companies of your behavior: Prog Leasing, LLC | Approve.Me LLC | AM2 Enterprises, LLC all of which have an ownership in Progressive Leasing (D.B.A. Progressive Finance Holdings, LLC) of how you treat customers and that their Risk Assessment Team should investigate their relationship with you? Please be aware that I know exactly how to contact the responsible parties in these Organizations, so I won't be calling some kind of "Customer Service Hotline". This action on my part may only cause a ripple in your sea of pathetic corporate behavior, but at least a paper trail has been started. Your CRM with Dsghome.com is one of the worst Customer Relationship Management services I have ever seen. It's easy to hide behind this website as you respond to other complaining parties on here, will you ever make the decision to be more transparent and treat customers like humans with MONEY instead of discarded animals on the side of road - flea ridden and starving for attention? To all the customers that have been treated like this, take the time to contact the following places, Office of the Texas State Attorney General, Google reviews, Yelp reviews, District Attorney, legalmatch com. If you file a google review make sure you use key tags such as "The Abilene Ashley store", use a combination of words with this order "Abilene, Texas" along with "Ashley Home Store", also "Abilene TX location", also "Abilene Ashley HomeStore". Its been a horrible experience with Ashely. I havent received the furniture that I ordered back in April. I keep calling them and all they do is lie to me and keep pushing my oders further and they hang up on me. I paid them cash because I trusted them. Now I dont know what to do, we've been without furniture and paid the only money I had .

I never write bad reviews. BUT PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE from Ashley's furniture. Once you purchase an item it can take more than 3 months for you to get your stuff and it can continue to be pushed without notice. Also they have no refund and its purchase on sale... meaning even if you cancel your order you will not get your money back and if you do... IF.. then you will get charge a 25% fee for who knows what. If you want to get a furniture from Abilene Texas. Go to Homezone Furniture or somewhere else... you will at least get your items on time and won't give you the run around when you call customer service.

Not happy with the service after the sale. Wishing I had not made a purchase with Ashley now. Definitely having buyer's remorse.

I ordered a couch, loveseat, and ottoman in October of 2020. I was told when we were ordering that it would be delivered in December (8 weeks). On December 30th, when we hadn’t received any communication (10 weeks) I called to check on our order. They said that it would be in the first week of January. This pattern continued until we finally received our couch and loveseat in February after 16 weeks. All communication about the furniture was initiated by me, even though their policy states they are supposed to contact weekly for a check in (as told to me by an Ashley furniture customer service representative). Unfortunately, at the time our couch and loveseat were delivered, they didn’t have our ottoman. It is now July 16th and we are still waiting on our ottoman. I called Ashley today and was told it was at the store and I could schedule a delivery. It should now be delivered the last week of July. I don’t know how long our ottoman has been at the store, but I do know that 9 months is not the same thing as 8 weeks. I’ve been given the run around by costumer service numerous times- having my phone call transferred to different departments and them all blaming each other. And then when I called the store today, the representative was rude. I will not make the mistake of buying from Ashley furniture again.

Buying from this store is my epic mistake . They promised delivery in 4-6 weeks. I waited for 5 months. Customer service is non existent. Your call will never be answered. On 4/1/21 we order two dining sets from Ashley HomeStore, located at 4597 Southwest Dr, in Abilene, TX. Initially we were told that the delivery will be in 2 weeks. After waiting we talked to them then they said that it will take 4-5 weeks - they delivered partial order. The one piece which is a large table, has not been delivered. And it's almost 4 months since the order. Every time we visit the store the employees at the store don't even put attention to customers who are coming to ask about service on an order. Every time we called the store is a waste of time, no one answers, the situation is worst when you call the "service department". You'll be put on hold for a long time, then they hung up. Next step is, I'll be asking to return our $'s. Needless to say, customer service is horrible. Next week will be FOUR MONTHS of waiting for our furniture which we paid back in April. Several people from Ashley called but have not solve the problem.

Customer service is non-existent. We were told 2-6 weeks for delivery. It has been 7 weeks and no one at Ashley is available. We were 31 and 39 in the queue and then after 21 minutes we were disconnected. Calling the actual store in Abilene is impossible as you are just re-routed to central customer service. We will no longer purchase from Ashley in Abilene. Our money is better spent with a company that has better communication skills. An email would have been sufficient,

I am changing my original review for Ashley. Don't buy from Ashley Furniture in Abilene, especially if you are going to have to wait for the item you paid for in full upfront to be shipped/delivered to your home. I ordered a dresser in March that was supposed to be delivered by early May per our salesman, James. That date came and went and when I called and checked they told me it was pushed back to May 17th. That date came and went too, and when I called on May 22nd Ashley Customer Service assured me that the dresser was on the truck and would be in the Abilene on May 24th and that it would be delivered this week. On May 27th when I had not heard from Ashley about the delivery I called Customer Service again and was told by the rep that the order was pushed again to June 15th. I told the rep that was unacceptable and impossible because I was told last week that it was on the truck and the Rep then proceeded to tell me that the store got my dresser, but apparently had sold it to someone else and that she could arrange for me to receive the same dresser from someone else who had bought the set and scheduled my delivery for June 2nd. Today, May 28th, I went into the store to talk to the Manager (Nathan) who I was told was not on-site by 3 salesmen, one of which was James that originally sold me the furniture and who basically confirmed to me that they sold my dresser that came in on Monday and refused to help me in any way other than tell me to call Customer Service and get a refund because, "Ashley is giving those now". So basically Ashley in Abilene is robbing Peter to pay Paul and "double dipping" buy selling peoples orders as they arrive rather than fulfilling the past orders. This is completely unethical and wrong. The manager Nathan was no where to be found for me to submit my complaint to but I did call and complain to Ashley customer service and that rep was nice & helpful. It should also be noted that I have never received a call from Ashley when our delivery date was pushed back and the CS rep told me that should be coming from our salesman, James. I was also told by Barbara Reyes that I would receive a $75 gift card for leaving a review which I have yet to receive as of today. If you are looking for furniture to buy, I would steer clear of this store because they have every excuse in the book as to why you aren't receiving your fully-paid orders, unethical salesmen, poor in-store customer service and an absentee Manager. The only positive part of this experience was the customer service guy I spoke to today on the phone.

Buyers beware! You will not receive what you purchased for months. We ordered a table with chairs and matching barstools back on March 14th and we still don’t have them. They initially told us it would be 2-4 weeks, then 4-6 weeks, and now here we are over 10 weeks later still with nothing. Zero communication from the store about the status of our order unless we physically go into the store and ask. They don’t call to update you that the order has been pushed back yet again and you can’t call for an update because it says their inbox is full. No emails, nothing. We have had to go into the store 3 times to ask for updates and each time they say it’s pushed back. So we are out $1500 with no product. I do not recommend buying furniture here unless you are okay with waiting months and not having a definite date of delivery. UPDATE: I emailed the address they gave to me in response to this post and they haven’t responded to the email. I texted the number that they gave in response to this review and STILL NO PROGRESS NO UPDATES NOTHING. So upset with this company. It has now been over 12 weeks since we paid in full for our products and we haven’t received them.
