Ashley delivery service sucks. They want to deliver why people work,they think we can sit around for 3 hours waiting for delivery. What they don't tell you is that you can't set a schedule at your convenience, it's at their convenience and their times in the am hours. This sucks!

No high pressure sales at Ashley, they were so pleasant, giving what discounts they could enabling me to be able to purchase what was needed. Could not ask for a better experience.

We had a fantastic experience buying a mattress at Ashley in Abilene. Sam & Rios were excellent and fun to buy from.

In mid April my husband was due to have heart surgery. One of the follow up instructions was to sleep in a recliner. Unfortunately at the time we did not own one. After reviewing the local furniture stores we decided that Ashley had the best selection. We looked at their selection and another stores and quickly returned to Ashley. The clerk was so friendly and when we mentioned that we had a time constraint she went out of her way to get the chair delivered before the surgery. Ashley Furniture will be the first place I look if/when I need a piece of furniture.

Went to the Abilene Ashley store and was promptly greeted by Ty. We were very specific as to what we were looking for and Ty showed us everything that met our needs. He was so nice to show us what the tags on the furniture meant and let us look for awhile. He eventually showed us a different material than what we asked for and we loved it! He was just amazing at hearing our requests and any concerns and so willing to work up prices as we changed our minds or added other products. He was patient and kind. We left so pleased with the whole experience. We’d shopped around and Ty at Ashley’s treated us the best!

WORST Customer Service ever I hope this is public the supervisor for online purchases didn't respond to my issues, the sales associate lied to me told me to text him when I did he seemed not to know who I was very unsettling I still get emails I've blocked them but there still coming to my Inbox

Wife and I had a great experience today looking for new furniture, Ty greeted us very enthusiastic to show us around for living room furniture and explained all the different grades plus discounts… After about an hour looking we nailed it down to two different sets.Ty gave us all the details and differences between them plus I asked him many questions as he answered all of them. We are very pleased with our new furniture and can’t wait to get it home. Ty was so eager to help and amazing to work with…Thank you !

I looked online to find the product I wanted. I went to the store, and Daniel greeted me as I walked in. I asked him about what I was looking for. He directed me to the area. I didn't find what I was looking for. So I pulled up what I had looked at online. Daniel went, and got a supervisor, and we actually found a better item than what I wanted. I don't remember the supervisor's name. I think it was Johnathan, but I could be wrong. Overall my experience was excellent.

Excellent customer service and assistance with my home furniture purchase. Rios and the team were helpful including the floor model furniture we needed to pick up.

My wife and I came in looking for a matress and we were blown away. Chris helped us find one that both of us felt was just the perfect one. When we were finishing up with the paperwork, Rios, Johnathan and Ben really made sure we understood everything and if we had any questions they all made sure everything was taken care of. This experience has made sure we will come back to shop more.

I was apprehensive coming to the store since our last experience a couple of years ago wasn't that great. However, Jim, Rios and Chris made our whole experience painless and wonderful. They were courteous, attentive and answered and address all the questions and/or concerns that we have pertaining to the sale. Overall they did a magnificent job in customer service.

Daniel was outstanding and would highly recommend! Everyone was as nice as could be and made me feel so comfortable being in the store.

Ashley Furniture has a great selection and works with pricing. Let me just say, we have never been SOLD a vehicle OR furniture. We always know what we want when we go to a dealership or furniture store. We like to use our eyeballs and fingers to see and feel the different options. We almost left the store because the associate was so extremely pushy when there was literally no reason to be. He would not give us a moment to discuss our options in private and the overt, cliché salesman bit with the giant “salesman of the year ring” in our faces was almost too much for us—could’ve been a Saturday Night Live skit and we wouldn’t have been the wiser. We plan to continue shopping there, but the thirst for the sale was downright comical.

My sales manager was so awesome I bought a coffee table and 2 ends tables. First time in this location, loved the variety of furniture.

While shopping for a new bed, the customer service was great. We ended up purchasing a bed and two dressers.. there was a promo that advertised a free Playstation 5 with purchase over a certain amount.. our salesperson informed us we only had to spend another $82 in order to redeem that promo to get the PS5 and we ended up spending a little over $4,000. A couple of days later we were informed the promo wasn't valid, in order to make it valid we had to do redo the whole process, okay no big deal... which led us to redoing the process 2 more times due to computer entry errors. Today, we were notified by a second party that our whole order was cancelled by the store and we would have to redo the process again for a fourth time and I'm not sure why?? At this point, I do not care about the PS5 and we have yet to hear from anyone that works at Ashley about our order. So because the employees in store didn't know the stipulations of the promo our whole order was cancelled. Did we want the PS5... of course, but we didn't go in there with the intention of leaving with any sort of prize for buying furniture.

Our sales team was lovely and we bought more than expected HOWEVER, I was very disappointed in the ‘corporate policy’ that said we did not qualify for the free PlayStation after spending almost $5k. The store manager claimed it was a corporate policy that rendered us invalid to qualify for the promotion, but I saw it as a corporate ‘bait and switch’ where the signs posted did not match the policy in the store. I am considering canceling my order now and going to another store to order the furniture.

I'll start by saying I have had decent experiences with Ashley furniture in the past. But there is one salesman that is ridiculous. Talks at a rate of 90 mph. Bounces around customer to customer like a kid with ADHD, which meant he couldn't answer our questions we had. Talks about all this success in business he's had making millions, ok great, calm down and sell me a sofa... I knew he was full of it when he completely fabricated a story about he and another worker helping another local restaurant get started. He didn't realize I knew actual owners of the restaurant. Lived here most of my life. i know a few people. ;) Had to chuckle about it, but don't see myself going back. Went and got what we needed from another company. I'm not naming names, but if you see this, cmon. You know me. Do better, be better.

I am only giving 5 stars because of RIOS excellent customer care. Rios goes above & beyond to help her customers get answers to their questions. The Abilene store itself could & should take notes from Rios. Once the sale was made in the store they no longer care. But Rios has been a blessing! Team RIOS!

The salesmen are very pushy and tacky and will lie to make sales (or are up knowledgeable to tell untruths). My salesman bragged about how much money he made and was incorrect about all aspects of delivery. The delivery itself was easy after I worked out all the incorrect bits the salesman told me, and the furniture in the end is nice

My husband and I were on a mission to purchase a sectional for our home. We arrived and began inquiring from salesmen Jace and Jon. They were an absolute pleasure! They showed us items that aligned with what we were looking for and did not make us feel pressured at all! They both knew when to give us the information and then give my husband and I time to talk about it. Although we decided on a couch from a different furniture store, both Jace and Jon were kind and understanding! We did end up purchasing an outdoor table set and they were still an absolute pleasure!

Salesman was great at talking us into a sectional, but we've been having issues with it nearly since day 1. We've been waiting months for a repair and now that I've taken a half day off work, they can't come. In fact, they won't be out for another month. After calling the warranty department they stated that there is nothing they can do about it. I'm beyond frustrated. I spent WAY too much on a couch that's just falling apart. After multiple phone calls and trying to rearrange my schedule to fit theirs, I get the response that "it's not their department" (from EVERY DEPARTMENT). Definitely not worth the time and money that it has cost me.

I never give one star ratings; however, I have never felt discriminated against until walking into this store. We have 2 houses, one in Austin and one in Abilene. Our intentions were to use Ashley's to furnish our home in Abilene as we did in Austin. I walked in and was not greeted by anyone. I walked around for 40 minutes and was NEVER spoken to. Several others walked in after and were attended to. I found a woman sitting in the very back and asked her for what I was looking for. She pointed to 3 directions and NEVER got up or called for any assistance. I understand not hovering over customers, but not helping is different. I eventually walked out, but Im sure no one noticed. Truly very sad experience. Do better Ashley's.

Such a good experience! I had decided a few months ago to buy furniture and I just had not gone to pick it out. I heard they had a sale going so I planned a trip and saw exactly what I wanted within a few minutes. Walked around about 20 more minutes but already had decided. Purchased on Monday and delivered on Friday. Beautiful and I love it!

Jonathan provided his expertise to make the experience very smooth and straightforward. Told us the furniture would be delivered in two weeks. That was on 6/1/23. It is now 7/26/23 and no delivery date set. Started as a great experience but now I just want to get it over! By the way, payment made in full at the time of purchase. They have the money - I’m missing furniture.

Salesmen were great but in the end I am not happy with how they have done us. Overcharged us on chair which was not the amount we agreed to. Also charged delivery fee for item we got ourselves at store. Been trying for almost 4 weeks to get this taken care of and keep getting the run around. My advice is not to go there. I will never go back there. I have contact cooperate office now so lets see if they return my call. I just see that you replied to my review. I did not see where to reply to you. I have tried to reach out and work with Aracell Rios. I keep getting the run around that someone should be contacting me. No one has. I want someone to get this corrected and someone to call me from cooperate office.

Had a lift chair sent to my mother in Tx. I went to the Ashley store in my hometown in NC to see the lift recliners avail first, chose one, then called the Ashley store in mom’s hometown in Tx to place the order. Had a very nice sales associate that assured me of the delivery details and time. Mom got her chair yesterday and is very happy with it!

My salesman was Badge. I went in just for a mattress purchase. While looking I just browsed other furniture of interest. He took the time to explain to give a full presentation on each piece of furniture I looked even tho I wasn't there for anything else. He was great on educating us on everything and know all the features and options the furniture pieces had. He was very patience and most importantly, he was honest and gave direct answer to questions. My purchase budget expanded an extra $700 then my original budget based off the comfort level He gave my wife & I. I went to 5 other furniture stores before and all I got from sales associates from most expensive to the least expensive but no idea what was the difference. Coming from a sales background, I was very impressed and will be back yo get new furniture for the house from him and willing to spend more because of the education from his presentation. VERY SATISFYIED!

Rios was our sales person in December of 2022. She informed us our furniture would arrive no later than February. In January we never get the call about our furniture so we call Rios who informs us she is now assistant manager that customer service says March she has no clue. As manager u should know what's going on with ur orders especially the customer u sold to. The customer service set up March 1st then never showed. Then said they would have to reschedule for March 15th. If you want a nightmare go to Ashley's in abilene. The manager Charlotte will not get things done correctly. Now we have battery issue from day one and neither of them are trying to fix the problem fast. 300.00 down the the drain. The lady that helped me with my purchase was great. Very knowledgeable and made sure I got the best deal. But the RUDE salesman who kept calling her away from helping me to fill out paperwork for his mattress sale was unbelievable. The lady was called away and I was left sitting mid purchase for around 30 minutes. She came back and we began to work on my purchase again when believe it or not, the same man shows up tells her he has another mattress sale and needs her to come help him again! This time she told him she needed to finish my transaction to which he replied. I can wait maybe 5 minutes for you to finish but I really need you now. I guess my money wasn't worth the same as HIS customer's money . I asked is he your boss. She stated that he is not a boss. He has just been here a long time. The way he made me feel as a customer indicates it may be time for him to go! Oh and by the way, I have been a customer service trainer for several corporations over the past 25 years or so. His cutthroat method of sabotaging his coworkers sales to promote his own if archaic and off-putting.

Went to Ashley tonight to see if the living room set was still available that I looked at a month ago. I went it and sure enough they still had the set I was really wanting and the sales person came over and told me they had a 30% off sale. So I couldn’t pass up nearly 2 grand discount and they had the paperwork fixed up really quick and worked out all the details that fit my budget and are getting it delivered before Christmas. They were really fast and friendly and the protection plan they have Is really great if you don’t have claims for the five years you get your money back. I definitely recommend going and checking them out if your looking to buy furniture.

We ordered furniture the week of Presidents’ Day. We were told delivery April time frame ( which seems crazy) but we agreed. The delivery date got pushed to May then July. So we cancelled. Long story but we never received the furniture and were basically sold furniture that they could not get. Whole experience was terrible. Won’t be back.

We love this store however it would be nice if we could walk in without being smothered by a particular salesman each time that we go in (not going to put his name here). I understand it’s their job to make a sell but if we state that we are just looking around more than once and still get smothered… We just want to leave. Not to mention the salesman was not even the person that greeted us this time. The poor girl that greeted us was probably being poached by him. Being asked what my credit score is during a “5 minute” life changing demo of a mattress is annoying and is the reason why I told my wife to get up when we were 17 mins into the “5 minute” demo. I don’t care if you sold 1 million worth of sales last year on the mattress… what does that have to do with the life changing demo? He mentioned it like 4 times in his sales pitch. Who cares dude? We are considering buying couches from here soonish but I really hope I am not smothered with sales tactics when we are trying to make a decision. Some customers just want to be left alone people!

Ashley's is absolutely worthless. After our experience they definitely deserve a brick through their window. Never shop with them. To start they delivered the couch to the completely wrong address in the wrong city. Then refused to deliver the whole couch to the correct address and made us wait a 2 more months for just half of the couch to arrive. We had ordered two extra pieces to go with the couch, but was not sure if we would need them and we were told if we didn't need them that they could be returned. Well then we had to wait 3 more months for the rest of the couch to be delivered to find out that we didn't need one of the extra pieces, but then we were told that we couldn't return it even after all of their mistakes and having to wait for the whole couch just to find out we didn't need the extra piece. Customer service was zero help and so was the manager I spoke to. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Do not buy from this company! Ordered a bedroom set on 26 Jan 2022, and still have not received the entire order…it’s now September!!!!! Spent $4K and I now regret it. Staff and delivery drivers are respectful, however that does not help the fact I’m waiting 9 months on a very expensive purchase. They will call me back tomrrow to reschedule the headboard for the 5th time. Again, do not purchase from this company unless you can walk out the door with your purchase same day.

Besides the long wait (over six months for a dining table), poor customer service (delivery time was scheduled and then they called to schedule delivery again on the day it was supposed to be delivered then the rep told me the first scheduling was approximate even though I had multiple text and email confirmations with them with a date and time saying it would be delivered), when the table was finally delivered a week later than originally scheduled, the delivery people hadn't secured it in the truck and my husband overheard them cursing when they opened the truck and saw the table had fallen. Then they brought the boxes in and tried to rush us for a signature, my husband insisted on opening the box first and the table leg was broken and there was an approx 20 in scratch across the top of the table. Still don't have a replacement table. And customer service keeps telling us they'll call back with more information, but they don't.

I found the perfect sofa and dining table. However, when I tried to make the purchase, the store didn’t accept debit cards as credit cards. When I explained my card works as credit card for high dollar purchases, they advised their store doesn’t allow credit card option for debit cards. First time I encountered. After going two days in a row to try to purchase, they did not know what to do. I had to go somewhere else and get a less preferred items. Hopefully they resolve this issue, so I can go back as they had great options.

We got to work with Michelle, and it was a pleasure. Michelle was very patient with us. We bounce around from sofa to sofa. Then to mattress to reclining bases. She listened to our wants and needs. My parents bought two recliners from Ashley furniture in Abilene Texas. One chair is broke and has been broke since they delivered it. My mom keeps getting all these phone numbers to call and every time she calls these numbers they don’t service the Abilene area. So I will be telling people do not buy furniture from Ashley furniture unless they want to be screwed. They got their money so they’re not worried about how quality their furniture is or fixing stuff that come in broken

Once the sale is done, they no longer care about the customer. They give false information, it seems they are all told different things. One of the ladies in the back is very unprofessional and gossips in front of customers. I honestly wish we could back out and return the ONE item we have received and take our business elsewhere.

We met new manager, Charlotte, and worked with sales associate Chris. Both were professional and able to answer our questions in order for us to make a good decision on our purchase. Chris is an excellent go-to person for assistance and finding the best value.

In March 2022, we ordered a console table from Ashley Furniture and were told it would arrive in two weeks. However, it took three months for us to receive the furniture. We vowed never to buy from Ashley again. In March 2024, we found the nightstands we wanted at Ashley Furniture and decided to give them another chance. The sales representative assured us it would take two weeks for the delivery. After a month of waiting, we called customer service only to discover that the nightstands were on backorder and wouldn’t arrive until the end of April. April came and went, and upon reaching out again, we were told we would receive the nightstands in May. By the end of May, we still had not received any notification. We contacted them once more, only to be informed that the delivery would not happen until June. Finally, we received an official delivery date. When the delivery arrived, it was the wrong nightstand, and we only received one instead of the two nightstands we ordered. Now, we are left waiting for the other nightstand, which they said would not arrive until August. Based on our prior experience, I am doubtful it will arrive even then. I have never left a public negative review about a company, but in this case, I think it’s important for anyone interested in shopping at Ashley Furniture to know about our terrible experience. This is the last time we are ever buying anything from Ashley Furniture again.

She answered every question that I had and took me around the store while taking our time to look. She was able to help me decide what would be best for my home in conjunction with my décor. I felt like I had a designer with me at all times. She was a large help. She made me feel like I was working with a friend. She helped me out several times and gave me new ideas. She is keeping me up to date on my orders. I felt more confident with my purchase than I have in a long time when buying furniture. Customer service at the Abilene location is poor, not to mention one of the female associates went into our information and contacted my husband asking him for a date 🤣 The place is a joke and under stocked and the customer service like I said was POOR.

DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR BACKORDER LIES!!!! Let me tell you about this Ashley store. My mother and I have shopped at Ashley’s for over 18 years and have never been mistreated, lied to, and taken for a run like we have. I ordered a full living room set (sectional, end table, coffee table, sofa table, and tv stand) in May, 2021. We were told it would be ready in July, okay not so bad. July rolls around, they then tell us November. November rolls around, and now it’s January, and so on and so on. Until today!! I am able to get my sectional and end table while the rest of the order will be ready in April. To find out today, they didn’t order the wedge for my sectional so I have 3/4s of a couch. We go to the store and they tell us there’s nothing they can do for now, they couldn’t check what was in stock, and they couldn’t sell us what was on the floor. This is all I’ve ever heard from corporate, customer service, and people in the store. Also let me tell you, the lady that worked with us today LITERALLY said to my face that if my order isn’t complete and someone else needs something that is already in the warehouse from my order, they give it to that person! THEY HAVE BEEN GIVING AWAY FURNITURE I PAID FOR. How long do they give away pieces in my order until I finally get my furniture. I have made payments on this furniture (that I do not have) for ten months. I have found out I was pregnant and had a child who is almost 2 months before I have gotten one piece of furniture. I have been through hell with these people and have not be offered one solution, one piece of compensation, or anything. Do not believe the back order lies they sell you. You will never get your furniture because they’ll continue to give it away but expect full compensation for the furniture you do not have. I have been waiting 10 months for furniture and at this point I don’t believe I will ever actually get any. If you want to buy furniture do not, I repeat DO NOT! Go to this store.

Walked into the store 30 minutes before closing (we'd done all of our shopping & research the day before), the sales girl (forget her name) was happy to help. Since I knew what I wanted I had all paperwork & payment done & was back out the door in 15 minutes. Unfortunately, items ate on backorder like everything these days but so far the experience was excellent. There was no pressure the day before when we were researching & they allowed us to browse & sit the way we wanted without being up our rears pressuring us but made sure we were aware they were available for questions should we have any. In june 2021 purchased furniture & still have not received it as of today (7 mo. Later). Have tried to call the store & never get an answer. My Ashley card now shows that no pending transaction exist. The same thing happened with an online order & that item has not been received (now 8 mo). I guess Ashley has canceled my order(s) with no contact at all.

Ashley Homestore of Abilene Texas deserves absolutely NO STARS. On 2/12/2021 my husband and I paid almost $1600 for an entire sectional and ottoman set. It is now 12/4/2021 and I have yet to receive any of the pieces or any information about the purchase. I have called many many times and have had to wait hours only to be hung up on. The one time the phone was answered I was told that the couch would be at the warehouse the following weekend and nothing else. DO NOT buy from this place!

Only four stars due to not having my couch yet. Salesman was courteous and helpful. But one star only for having to pay a delivery charge. If you don't pay for the delivery charge you have to drive to Lubbock to pick up your items.

Have yet to receive my purchase after paying cash back in March. They refused to give me a time frame and still haven't processed my refund. Paying cash might give you a discount but if you never receive the items who cares how much you pay. Might as well take some money and light it on fire.

Guaranteed in stock was a joke. I drove an hour to see their furniture. Not in stock. Wanted to deliver and charge extra. Non of the stuff I picked out was in the store. We drove our can all that way for nothing.

earlier this year we purchased, new dining room table/chairs. couch, love seat, over sized chair and ottoman, TV stand- towers and top , buffet table, coffee table, and end tables for our living room. We we just browsing the other day and come to find out it was the Black Friday sale, our salesman was excellent. His product knowledge and price breakdown ability was second to none. Ashley's always has had excellent products but the service we've gotten there has also been great. The one time we had an issue it was corrected quickly and painlessly. And even gave us some store credit. I never feel pushed into anything and the salesman highest concern is that the customer leaves happy. Will be where we buy all future furniture and will continue to tell people about the experiences we have had.

(No stars if I could) DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! My wife and I were told we would have the furniture in our home in 6 days. Called on the 6th day to verify delivery and was told we would maybe have the furniture in our home in 3 weeks. We sold our furniture to make way for the new ones coming!!! I immediately asked for a refund. Cannot believe you allow your employees to make fake promises like this to get a sale. You will NEVER have my business again.

Extremely aggravating when no one answers the phone and we are having to wait till December and January for our furniture when we were told the day (first Saturday in October) we purchased it that it would be in around 3 weeks... Buyer Beware!!! Purchased a couch and loveseat during the 4th of July sale and was told we would receive it in 4-6 weeks. When we heard nothing on week six we called and where told it would be another 6-8 weeks. That 4-6 was an estimate and even after waiting 6-8 more weeks they can’t guarantee it will be delivered. DO NOT buy from Ashley’s they have now done this to us twice. (Once on our kitchen table) and now. They are rude over the phone and come up with excuse after excuse on the delivery date after being told in store it would be six weeks at most multiple times after a customer walked in and warned us not to buy from Ashley because he had been waiting 10 weeks for his purchase and had not received it. I wish I had listened. Edit: We called management and where told our order would arrive November 26th it is now December 3rd and we called and where told it would be another month. DO NOT BUY from this store

BUYER BEWARE! I will continue to post further reviews until furniture delivered. Practicing the art of brevity, I wanted to state to the general public that you should take your business elsewhere. We purchased our furniture in March and have received one excuse after another. If you drive up to the Abilene location, you will see that the outdoor sign is in tatters and that should have been the first red flag to us (sign is still in disrepair). We were informed by the salesman that we should have our furniture in no less then six weeks, this was a lie. I have owned, or been partnered with several business organizations so believe me when I tell you (general public) that the sales pitches given by associates are delusional at best, and I will place the blame on upper management (owners - which is a couple out of Lubbock that already own over 10 other furniture management locations throughout Texas and New Mexico). Covid-19 is a fallback excuse given by Customer Service which they are shielding there inept behavior behind. I have taken a tally (speaking with previous Ashley Furniture Abilene customers) and have noticed that the slim majority of Customers that financed the furniture received all or at least 60% of products by given timeline. A question that does arise is the following - Does management give more priority to finance customers since they do not want to hurt their relationship with leasing companies such as Progressive? Does Progressive leasing, as a third party merchant finance company, need to be aware of their behavior? Do cash customers have to wait in line and be treated like livestock with dull excuses that even bore the snails in my garden? I am fully aware of current shipping delays due to Covid-19 (as 40% of their furniture does come from China) but is seems like this kind of corporate behavior goes way back before the pandemic. So now more questions arise...Since we have been informed of a refund and would "receive notification in 24 to 48 hours" and yet no attempt at contact by them has been made, does this constitute theft? We will be investigating legal remedy, should we inform the office of the state attorney general of possible criminal behavior along with financial remedy in a civil court of law? Should we inform the following companies of your behavior: Prog Leasing, LLC | Approve.Me LLC | AM2 Enterprises, LLC all of which have an ownership in Progressive Leasing (D.B.A. Progressive Finance Holdings, LLC) of how you treat customers and that their Risk Assessment Team should investigate their relationship with you? Please be aware that I know exactly how to contact the responsible parties in these Organizations, so I won't be calling some kind of "Customer Service Hotline". This action on my part may only cause a ripple in your sea of pathetic corporate behavior, but at least a paper trail has been started. Your CRM with Dsghome.com is one of the worst Customer Relationship Management services I have ever seen. It's easy to hide behind this website as you respond to other complaining parties on here, will you ever make the decision to be more transparent and treat customers like humans with MONEY instead of discarded animals on the side of road - flea ridden and starving for attention? To all the customers that have been treated like this, take the time to contact the following places, Office of the Texas State Attorney General, Google reviews, Yelp reviews, District Attorney, legalmatch com. Its been a horrible experience with Ashely. I havent received the furniture that I ordered back in April. I keep calling them and all they do is lie to me and keep pushing my oders further and they hang up on me. I paid them cash because I trusted them. Now I dont know what to do, we've been without furniture and paid the only money I had .

I never write bad reviews. BUT PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE from Ashley's furniture. Once you purchase an item it can take more than 3 months for you to get your stuff and it can continue to be pushed without notice. Also they have no refund and its purchase on sale... meaning even if you cancel your order you will not get your money back and if you do... IF.. then you will get charge a 25% fee for who knows what. If you want to get a furniture from Abilene Texas. Go to Homezone Furniture or somewhere else... you will at least get your items on time and won't give you the run around when you call customer service.

Not happy with the service after the sale. Wishing I had not made a purchase with Ashley now. Definitely having buyer's remorse.

I ordered a couch, loveseat, and ottoman in October of 2020. I was told when we were ordering that it would be delivered in December (8 weeks). On December 30th, when we hadn’t received any communication (10 weeks) I called to check on our order. They said that it would be in the first week of January. This pattern continued until we finally received our couch and loveseat in February after 16 weeks. All communication about the furniture was initiated by me, even though their policy states they are supposed to contact weekly for a check in (as told to me by an Ashley furniture customer service representative). Unfortunately, at the time our couch and loveseat were delivered, they didn’t have our ottoman. It is now July 16th and we are still waiting on our ottoman. I called Ashley today and was told it was at the store and I could schedule a delivery. It should now be delivered the last week of July. I don’t know how long our ottoman has been at the store, but I do know that 9 months is not the same thing as 8 weeks. I’ve been given the run around by costumer service numerous times- having my phone call transferred to different departments and them all blaming each other. And then when I called the store today, the representative was rude. I will not make the mistake of buying from Ashley furniture again.

I KEPT GETTING THE COVID EXCUSE EVEN THOUGH I ORDERED IT SEVERAL MONTHS BEFORE THAT. WHEN I WOULD TRY AND GET MY MONEY BACK THEY TOLD ME I HAD TO CALL 800 NUMBER WHICH IS A JOKE. YOU CALL AND END UP ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR AND THEN THE PHONE JUST HANGS UP. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS STORE. READ THE REVIEWS AND SAVE YOUR SELF THE HEADACHE.

Buying from this store is my epic mistake . They promised delivery in 4-6 weeks. I waited for 5 months. Customer service is non existent. Your call will never be answered. I went to store directly, they advised me to call a non existent number. Lesson learnt -Never shop in this store if you are smart. You loose your time , money and peace of mind. My rating 0/5.

On 4/1/21 we order two dining sets from Ashley HomeStore, located at 4597 Southwest Dr, in Abilene, TX. Initially we were told that the delivery will be in 2 weeks. After waiting we talked to them then they said that it will take 4-5 weeks - they delivered partial order. The one piece which is a large table, has not been delivered. And it's almost 4 months since the order. Every time we visit the store the employees at the store don't even put attention to customers who are coming to ask about service on an order. Every time we called the store is a waste of time, no one answers, the situation is worst when you call the "service department". You'll be put on hold for a long time, then they hung up. Next step is, I'll be asking to return our $'s. Needless to say, customer service is horrible. Next week will be FOUR MONTHS of waiting for our furniture which we paid back in April. Several people from Ashley called but have not solve the problem.

Customer service is non-existent. We were told 2-6 weeks for delivery. It has been 7 weeks and no one at Ashley is available. We were 31 and 39 in the queue and then after 21 minutes we were disconnected. Calling the actual store in Abilene is impossible as you are just re-routed to central customer service. We will no longer purchase from Ashley in Abilene. Our money is better spent with a company that has better communication skills. An email would have been sufficient,

No one answers the phones and I’ve been waiting on my couches for 2 months trying to cancel my order but no one answers I’m from out of town my kids have been sitting on the floor for 2 months 😭 I just want my money back so I can go somewhere else

I am changing my original review for Ashley. Don't buy from Ashley Furniture in Abilene, especially if you are going to have to wait for the item you paid for in full upfront to be shipped/delivered to your home. I ordered a dresser in March that was supposed to be delivered by early May per our salesman, James. That date came and went and when I called and checked they told me it was pushed back to May 17th. That date came and went too, and when I called on May 22nd Ashley Customer Service assured me that the dresser was on the truck and would be in the Abilene on May 24th and that it would be delivered this week. On May 27th when I had not heard from Ashley about the delivery I called Customer Service again and was told by the rep that the order was pushed again to June 15th. I told the rep that was unacceptable and impossible because I was told last week that it was on the truck and the Rep then proceeded to tell me that the store got my dresser, but apparently had sold it to someone else and that she could arrange for me to receive the same dresser from someone else who had bought the set and scheduled my delivery for June 2nd. Today, May 28th, I went into the store to talk to the Manager (Nathan) who I was told was not on-site by 3 salesmen, one of which was James that originally sold me the furniture and who basically confirmed to me that they sold my dresser that came in on Monday and refused to help me in any way other than tell me to call Customer Service and get a refund because, "Ashley is giving those now". So basically Ashley in Abilene is robbing Peter to pay Paul and "double dipping" buy selling peoples orders as they arrive rather than fulfilling the past orders. This is completely unethical and wrong. The manager Nathan was no where to be found for me to submit my complaint to but I did call and complain to Ashley customer service and that rep was nice & helpful. It should also be noted that I have never received a call from Ashley when our delivery date was pushed back and the CS rep told me that should be coming from our salesman, James. I was also told by Barbara Reyes that I would receive a $75 gift card for leaving a review which I have yet to receive as of today. If you are looking for furniture to buy, I would steer clear of this store because they have every excuse in the book as to why you aren't receiving your fully-paid orders, unethical salesmen, poor in-store customer service and an absentee Manager. The only positive part of this experience was the customer service guy I spoke to today on the phone.

Buyers beware! You will not receive what you purchased for months. We ordered a table with chairs and matching barstools back on March 14th and we still don’t have them. They initially told us it would be 2-4 weeks, then 4-6 weeks, and now here we are over 10 weeks later still with nothing. Zero communication from the store about the status of our order unless we physically go into the store and ask. They don’t call to update you that the order has been pushed back yet again and you can’t call for an update because it says their inbox is full. No emails, nothing. We have had to go into the store 3 times to ask for updates and each time they say it’s pushed back. So we are out $1500 with no product. I do not recommend buying furniture here unless you are okay with waiting months and not having a definite date of delivery. UPDATE: I emailed the address they gave to me in response to this post and they haven’t responded to the email. I texted the number that they gave in response to this review and STILL NO PROGRESS NO UPDATES NOTHING. So upset with this company. It has now been over 12 weeks since we paid in full for our products and we haven’t received them.

I had the best shopping experience ever at Ashley's recently. We went into the store in Abilene, Tx and there was a sale going on and we had a great sales person named Jimmy that provided all the information (info on products, sales price) we needed, We ultimately purchased a living room suit, mattress and base, and a bedroom suite. I appreciate Jimmy and Barbara Reyes for all they did. They have my business for life.

I bought our mattress yesterday from Ashley! It was short and quick coz they know what we really wanted! The staff is nice especially Barbara Reyes! And also we have been Ashley customers, loyal customers since 2015!

We went bed shopping and Bob was very helpful with finding the right bed for us. Very patient and quite informative with each particular bed and the best part, no pressure sales. We spent probably about three hours in the store to find the perfect bed for us and finally did buy it. I would highly recommend the Abilene TX location for future purchases. Barbara Reyes suggested that I should post a review.

Attn: Barbara Reyes Highly satisfied with the quality of sofa and loveseat, however, very disappointed with delivery of recliner purchased. It’s now going on 7 weeks and recliner has not been delivered. Was told by salesman that I would have the recliner within 4-6 wks after purchase.

I had a pleasant experience shopping for a TV credenza in the Abilene, Texas store on Friday, April 23, 2021. I was greeted by a sales person who then told me where my desired piece could be found. He did not hover over me but let me shop on my own until I found the particular credenza that interested me and then was with me to answer my questions and close the sale. The people in the office were very friendly and efficient in handling the payment transaction. Barbara Reyes called me on Monday, April 26, 2021, requesting that I rate my shopping experience at Ashley Home Store. She stated that when I gave my rating I would receive a $75 gift card. I look forward to receiving my new TV credenza and thank the Abilene Ashley for meeting my need.

I read the reviews and thought oh maybe there was just a few people with issues, don’t judge the store off of o oh the negative reviews. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. They give you the run around when you call customer service and keep telling you your order will be in the next month. Initially I bought a bed and a couch. The salesmen told me it would be 2 weeks for the bed as they have them in stock and a month for the couch. This was in April. It took two months for the bed. It is now almost August. I’ve been told twice that my order will be delivered on set date, took off from work: no delivery. When I call customer service they tell me they don’t know what happened and my stuff will come in soon. They’ve tried to say Covid has caused issues but it wasn’t an issue when they were selling me furniture. Do yourself the favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Bought a couch and loveseat on 4/21/21. Couch finally delivered 7/31/21 after repeated delivery dates not met. It’s now 10/10/21 and still haven’t received the loveseat. Again been given numerous dates the loveseat would be available to be shipped. Those dates passed and no loveseat.

Horrible customer service!

Was called by Barbara in customer service after my purchase to make a 5 star review and would receive 200 gift card.. NOW I SEE WHY! Worst consumer service I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. They lie about the time it takes to get furniture, they never answer the phones. Their customer service line says leave a call back number and they will return your call if you dont want to hold. Because you will hold over an hour to speak to someone. You literally have to go up to the store to get a local person to talk to and then they turn around and tell you that they have to call customer service but can push you up in the q but it still takes 30 mins.

The buying experience was quick and easy, but it went downhill after that. We purchased 3 pieces in December, finally received the first, our sectional couch end of February, we still have not received our ottoman or side table. Everytime I call I'm on hold for at least 45 mins just for them to tell me ,"I'm sorry it's delayed." Then they will give me a date 2 weeks out again of when it should arrive. I call again after that date and the cycle just starts over. We are left paying for furniture we haven't received. I would definitely NOT recommend going thru Ashley unless you are told you can take your furniture home same day.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Buying from Ashley's (ABILENE) has been a night mare from the beginning. After I get my furniture I will NEVER buy from them again and I will suggest to anyone that is looking to buy furniture to steer FAR, FAR, FAR away.

Ordered a multi piece couch and an ottoman Feb 2 with an ETA of 3-5 weeks. 2 months later we finally got half of our couch, and we’re being told that the last piece of our couch and the ottoman won’t be delivered until mid May. If you attempt to follow up and inquire about your order, the spineless manager will tell you whatever he thinks you want to hear that will temporarily pacify you and get you out of his store without too much fuss; or you’re directed to corporate, where you’ll wait on hold for hours then be told that there are no refunds, only store credit after a 25% cancellation fee. Once this Ashley Furniture of Abilene gets your money, they literally wash their hands of you and consider your order “not their problem”. Save your money and your time and go literally anywhere else but Ashley Furniture of Abilene! Even if it’s as far as Dallas! Update: it is now May 5th and we received our ottoman. Still waiting on the other 1/3 of our couch. Movers said not to expect it until June, maybe July. Update: 2 June the last portion of our sectional was finally delivered! After 4 months we can finally put Ashley HomeStore behind us and never have to worry about dealing with them again!

I made a large furniture purchase at The Ashley Homestore in Abilene, TX for my mother as a promised Christmas present on 1/27/2021 and was told it could take 4-6 weeks for delivery. It has now exceeded 8 weeks and I have still not received a call back on delivery arrangements. Every time I contact the delivery department, store, customer service I receive no answer or call back about this issue. The lack of transparency and response is making me regret this purchase and further purchases with this company. Edit: 4/20/21 - I contacted your email response team and was told it would be 'escalated' 3 weeks ago and have not received any new information since. It's now going on 11 weeks without a clear explanation as to what happened to my order or if anything is going to happen.

Ordered a couch and love seat back in November. Was told that it would only take 2-6 weeks for delivery. It's now 21 weeks and I still don't have my furniture. It is almost impossible to get anyone on the phone and their mailbox is constantly full. I have been told for the last 3 weeks that it will be at the warehouse at the end of the week, every week I call. They won't give me a refund this is ridiculous and the store is a joke. Today is April 7th now, couch and love seat were supposed to be delivered between 2:30-5:30pm then it was changed to 5:30-8:30pm and now it's 8:45, no contact number for delivery and of course the number the text came with says they are closed now.

This experience have been a complete disaster. Our furniture finally got delivered after more than 3 months, when the sales rep told us at time of purchase it would be no greater than 6 weeks. Upon delivery, we received the wrong color for our TV stand, and one of our end tables were missing. We had to go into the store to pay the balance the day before the first scheduled delivery, and no serious efforts were made for reconciliation, for them failing to meet their standard/ our expectations. Now we’re gonna have probably wait a further 3 months for redelivery. Stay TF away from this place if you actually want to have your furniture in a reasonable timeframe. Beyond abysmal customer service!!!

Giving 1 star because zero isn’t an option. Absolutely terrible customer service. I purchased in full furniture back on 12/18/20, I was told they would be delivered in the week of 2/18/21 with a chance it could be pushed back til last week in February. Here we are 3/29/21 and I haven’t even received so much as a phone call as to what the hold up is. I’ve called numerous times and am always treated with disrespect and given the run around of “2 more weeks” I called corporate and they didn’t even have my sales number in the system!! Went into store to figure it out and they just put me on phone with customer care and offered no other solutions. There are great places to buy furniture in Abilene I would stay away from Ashley’s. While everyone in the customer care and corporate has apologized I still haven’t received an apology from anyone in the Abilene team. Read the reviews every one that purchased furniture and is waiting are good anyone else well....

I spoke with Barbara Reyes earlier and shared with her about my experience at Ashley's Home Store. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and personable. I had the pleasure of dealing with Jimmy and Michelle and both had wonderful customer service. My expectations were met and then some! I purchased a tempurpedic mattress set and I'm looking forward to its arrival!

If I could rate in a negative grade I would. I purchased a sectional sofa 03/23/21 and still have not received the entire piece as of 05/05/21. Of the 2 pieces that were delivered one was broken, still waiting on repair that isn't even able to be scheduled until 05/17/21. I have spent over 5 hours holding for "customer service" often times hung up on or the call is transferred back into the call que which is usually around 22 calls waiting. I have been told 2 times my missing piece would be delivered... sat home waiting and nothing...so I call and wait time is over an hour only to be told no one knows where my missing furniture is and they have no clue why I was told it would be delivered. I have gone to the store and I'm told there is nothing they can do. Today I sat for 4 hours waiting for the scheduled delivery and repair of the broken piece... No one showed up so again I called waited over and hour to be told the missing piece isn't even available, but that the repair person states they did come by and left me 2 voicemails. I have NO voicemails and no one knocked on my door. Today makes the 3rd day I have sat at home waiting on furniture, and now I'm told they will get my piece in the warehouse Friday, and will reach out to me to schedule delivery... Who knows when that will be. The repair on the broken piece scheduled for 5/17/21 so that is 2 additional days I will have to find a way to sit home and wait on Ashley. This has been the most horrific furniture buying experience I have ever had. I will in NO WAY ever give Ashley another dollar!!! Today to top it all off after the 3 hr call the woman tells me she's a corporate supervisor and refuses to give anything other than first name or let me speak with someone above her, then says maybe when all is said and done they will offer me an in store credit... ABSOLUTELY NOT, I wouldn't deal with them even for free furniture!

2-6 weeks delivery! YEAH RIGHT!! I ordered my recliner at the beginning of January. I got it the second week of March. 10 week delivery!! That is unacceptable. Next time I will go to a locally owned place where they will stand by their word!!

I ordered a couch and love seat the 3rd week of December from a salesperson named James who was great to work with. It is 3 months later and I still have not received my furniture. They say it will be here next week to no avail. They rarely answer the phone when I call. Customer service leaves you on hold for way too long. I have paid for my furniture in full and I have no idea when I will receive it. I believe they are not following through on what they promised which is a 4-6 weeks delivery date. I understand we are in a pandemic and we had a huge snow storm but this is out of control.

I didn't realize we went in with the store only being open another 30 minutes, but the salesman was able to help us find the right couch for our family needs and get us out before the store closed. I had a great experience at the store when I was shopping but now I’m really regretting shopping with Ashley furniture. I bought some couches 8 weeks ago. They said it would take 2-6 weeks for them to be delivered and I’ve patiently been waiting. I called about them a week ago and they told me they were waiting on one more piece that would be here this past week. I called on Friday to follow up just to be told I’m going to be waiting till the end of June!!! So now I’m going to be waiting another 6-8 weeks!!! I’m just really upset at how things are going and I will not be shopping with Ashley furniture again.

Barbara Reyes was very polite and so was the girl behind the counter. She worked hard to get my issue resolved. However, I am still waiting on delivery of items purchased Jan. 8, 2021. Also I purchased another couch and was told it showed to be at the warehouse in Lubbock and I could probably get the couch within 2 weeks but called the warehouse next day and they told me the sofa was not in the warehouse and would probably be the end of April before it would arrive. That was disappointing.

Jimmy was very helpful in helping pick out and ordering a new dresser for my daughter, and Barbra Reyes called the next day to make sure my visit to their store exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that due to the pandemic, shipping may take a little longer, but that's not anything the store can help. Will be a repeat customer.

I don't recommend purchasing anything from Ashley Home Store at Abilene, TX. I have been waiting on my furniture for the past 5 months now. The sales people in there will tell you anything to have you purchase anything in that store but they leave that big huge information out that you will not receive your furniture anytime soon. Customer Service is also terrible. They will go on and blame it on the pandemic why your furniture has not arrived yet or even blame it on the weather. The bottom line if you don't mind waiting for your furniture for over 5 months or more than I would totally recommend purchasing from Ashley Furniture. Oh and they refuse to provide you a refund as well even though you have been waiting on your furniture for over 5 months already. They simply don't care and have no interest is providing any good customer service.

My family and I have shopped at the Abilene, TX store several times in the past year. Our preferred salesperson is Michelle Miller. She is knowledgeable about what I am looking for and understands the products she is showing me when I tell her what I am interested in. She is prompt in her communication with me when I am not in the store but have a question or a request. I have no complaints about our store experience. Do NOT shop at Ashley’s! We had originally found a sectional we loved and was told it would be a few months before they could get it in. Not wanting to wait that long, we decided to go with something else after Jimmy made VERY clear that the furniture we would be ordering instead would be here MUCH quicker. We were told February 16th. I called for days and could never get ahold of someone in the store, would be put on hold for a ridiculous amount of time, and even finally talked to Michelle who told me she would have Jimmy call me back. It’s been two weeks and NOTHING. I called three weeks ago, and was told what they had in the warehouse and what we were waiting on. I call today and it’s COMPLETELY different than what I was originally told. It’s obvious they just want your money. I’m to the point where I don’t want any of the furniture, I just want my money back!

My spouse and I recently visited Ashley's Furniture and had a splendid time! Barbara Reyes and Michelle were great to us and provided us with timely service. Michelle was able to thoroughly show us examples and ideas that best matched what we needed. We were very well taken care of. We will happily return for our furniture needs.

In August 2020 (yes AUGUST!!!), after just moving to Abilene, I went to Ashley’s to buy a couch because I’ve bought furniture from Ashley’s in different states over the years and loved them. Jimmy, the senior sales rep was full of energy and sold me on a sectional couch. 4 - 6 weeks estimated delivery. It’s now been seven months! When I call the store customer service it goes to voice mail. I later found out the store doesn’t get the voicemails- corporate office does. When I go into the store I’m told every time a new delivery date for the following month. The one time I got a hold of the corporate office (usually when I call I’m in the que as caller number 18+), I was told the couch would be delivered the following week. That was a month and a half ago. I’ve emailed, left voicemails, etc. but no one ever responds back. The store customer service reps (very friendly and I feel bad for them because this isn’t there fault) can do absolutely nothing to assist! They can’t cancel orders, they can’t get voicemails to their store, nothing. Ashley’s has been my go-to for the past 10 years, but never again. I feel sorry for the Abilene store employees!

This store, located in Abilene Texas is absolutely wonderful in taking your money but absolutely dreadful, horrible and seriously lacking in customer communication, service or providing your products in a timely manner. We ordered a mattress 27 Nov 20. After receiving no word on the delivery, we have attempted to contact this store in person or email on 5 Feb 21, 12 Feb 21, 22 Feb 21, 23 Feb 21, 2 Mar 21, 3 Mar 21 and 4 Mar 21...and not ONE of those attempts resulted in a resolution from Ashley Furniture because no feedback or communication was returned. It's pretty darn sad when they leave you on the phone 2 hours one day and 4 hours the next day with NO ONE picking up the phone. And they have the NERVE to repeatedly state, "Thank you for continuing to hold. If you would like to hold your place in line and a representative will call you back, please press zero now. Otherwise, please continue to hold for the next available representative." If I'm on standby for more than 4 hours and they have not acknowledged the call, why in the heck should I believe they will call me back??? STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY'S FURNITURE AT ALL COST!!!! DON'T DO IT!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!! You get better service from a FLEA MARKET!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the love of God, don’t believe the high star rating. This was the most inconvenient and frustrating purchase I’ve ever made. They only dropped off half my couch, and now, weeks later I still do not have the other half. No response from customer service, and the store literally doesn’t even have a manager.

I really hate to leave a negative review for any company. I know most are trying their best and have challenging times. But I must say I won't ever buy anything again at Ashley. And the only reason I'm posting this review is because they asked me to - otherwise I would have just kept quiet. We waited 20 minutes in the store before anyone would even acknowledge us. After we made our purchase -- after - they told us it would be six weeks for delivery. When delivery was scheduled we were notified the night before (not even the daytime to rearrange schedules for the next day). We couldn't be there so had a neighbor come over to accept delivery. When we got home we saw it was NOT what we ordered. Fortunately we had photos of the furniture inside the store. It wasn't even the same brand. It took forever to get through to customer service and we were treated rudely for having accepted the furniture - as though it were our fault. Then we were told they charged us the wrong price and to get what we actually ordered it would cost more. We finally got past that - after sending photos and receipts and whatnot -- and were then told the current furniture would have to be picked up and returned to the manufacturer before the right furniture could even be re-ordered. Soo another six or eight weeks to go. Again we had to be available on an hour's notice to get the furniture picked up And then they were two full hours late. No telling when we'll get the right order. And of course the store is sitting on our money, all pre-paid two months ago. Barbara Reyes sent me an email asking that I post a review and use her name in it, so I am. I don't know who she is. If she is the one who sold us the furniture in the Abilene store, she was friendly and probably overworked. If she is the one who turned in the order and got it wrong, I hope this helps prevent a mishap for another customer. If she is the incredibly rude and demeaning person on the customer service line who treated me like a criminal, she can be thanked for losing our future business.

UPDATE: This original review was written in March 2021. It is now December 2021, and I still do not have my furniture. In anticipation of my new furniture arriving in April as told, I GAVE AWAY, my old furniture to allow for an easy delivery and set up. The furniture was NOT delivered. I was given new delivery dates of May, June, July, August, October, November, and now, Dec 23rd. I have some since moved and have been using yard furniture in my living room. I used a blow up mattress on the floor until June. I finally broke down and spent more money on a cheap bed frame and mattress to sleep on. I’ve been using the cheap plastic dollar drawers for my clothes. They have not offered any kind of solution or compensation for my situation. All I’ve gotten is a bunch of useless excuses and run around. Unless they have it IN STOCK and you can take it with you when you leave, I don’t recommend buying from Ashley. Thank you Barbara Reyes for the opportunity to share my shopping experience. I went in looking for a new couch. My current couch is 11 years old, and is also from Ashley Home Furniture. It has seen its better days and in need of replacement. Sales associate Michelle was very helpful in listening to what I was looking for and making suggestions. My elderly parents are moving in with me, so I needed a couch that was easy to get up from; firmer and not too deep. After about 2 hours of trying almost every couch in the store and endless questions, I finally found the perfect couch. Michelle was so patient during the whole process. She worked with me to get the price and financing I needed. It was so easy that I ended up buying the whole living room set as well as a bedroom set.

It is a shame I have to even give 1 star. We purchased a table set in November 2020 from Jimmy (who is a great sales rep) and were told we would get it in 4-6 weeks, which they said is longer than normal because of the pandemic. We were understanding and paid outright for the table hoping we would eventually get the product. It is now the last day of February in 2021 and we have still not received our goods. I have called the store probably 30 times to which my calls were answered probably 4 times. Each time they tell us “it will be here next week” but here we are. When we asked to just cancel the order and refund our money we were told to call customer service, they don’t handle cancellations in store. We call customer service and are told there is a 25% restocking fee if we want to cancel an order on a table that does not even exist for all I know. At this point it is stealing as far as I am concerned.. our money has been held hostage, and we have no idea when we will ever receive the product we paid for. As someone who is also in sales you should either be honest with your customers about the ship times, or allow them to refund their money so they can go somewhere that can get them the product they are looking for. It is not good business.

We went to the Ashley store in Abilene TX. Victor and Jimmy were amazing. They helped us and answered all of our questions. Barbara Reyes was so nice when she called us after our purchase.

Loved the service at the store but once you buy their product they do not seem to care if you receive the product or not. We have been waiting for over three months for an order that was supposed to be 4 to 6 weeks (tentatively) apparently. I have been on hold with the company for over an hour a couple of times and still no furniture. It is a shame that they would treat their customers like this because they do have a nice product and a good staff. Also, their customer service line is the biggest joke. Absolutely no help.

Im giving two stars only because everyone was very helpful in the beginning given i was spending money and they were about to make a sale. I don’t usually write stuff like this but i’m not happy that it’s been since February since i’ve ordered and bought my furniture and still not have received it. Everytime i call I have to wait on the phone for about an hour to even talk to someone. Then when i do they tell me my furniture will be in by the end of the week every week. I even went up to Ashley’s to figure out what to do and they just called customer service in the lubbock store did the same thing they always do. So now i’ve been living in an empty house for two months. We love that :)

Only got 1 star cause I can’t give negatives...Our experience with Abilene Ashley Furniture started off great and quickly went downhill. We were told our couch and ottoman would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. Ha! 15 weeks later, I have 2 pieces of my couch. The third piece is still MIA and the ottoman hasn’t come either. It’s impossible to get them on the phone for an ETA. And if you request your money back, they only give you store credit, but keep 25% as a cancellation fee. What good is store credit when they can’t even deliver what I originally ordered. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague!

it was very nice, no-one bothered us until we made our choice... we were greeted as we walked into your store and told to tell them if we needed anything. After we had made our selection and was discussing if this was what we wanted, a gentleman came over and explained the purchase options to us.

The store manager helped us and he was very personable and helpful. He handed us off to Someone else to complete the paperwork and she was very nice and accommodating also. Only reason l didn’t give 5 stars is because when we were there a customer was very upset because he had been given several dates when his purchase would be delivered and he still hadn’t received his product. We were hoping that was an isolated incident but we were told our item would be here in 4 to 8 weeks, when we checked today (5 weeks in) and were told it looks like mid March now which is another 6 weeks from now. Hope we actually get our purchase!!

Worst company I have ever done business with!! I would not wish Ashley furniture on my worst enemy. Yes, they are that bad!! The only good thing I can say about Ashley furniture is our salesman (Jimmy) was absolutely great! Not his fault that that this company lies. We were given an appropriate time when our purchase would be delivered. We do not get a call or message letting us know the time frame has changed, so a week or two after the date we go back to the store and are given a different date. Nope, not then either. We try to call for days to get no answer, so we go out of our way again. They let us know part of our purchase is there, however the remaining will be in by the end of the week. At the end of the week, still no call and no one answers the phone. Four days later once again I go into the store. I am told I don’t know why you were told your items are here. The warehouse is in Lubbock and all your items are not there.I am then told it will be 2 more weeks. I call corporate for them to give me yet a different date. At this point I just want my money back . Ashley Furniture has now informed me, no ma’am we won’t do that. I ask for her (Carrie) supervisors name and #. She gives me a name but won’t give me her #. I ask her will she call me back. At this point I have not received a call. Basically, I have been given the speech you will get your items when you get them, but we will not give you your money back. You will get a call for delivery when your items come in. Hum!! Bad company!!

As always, Chris was friendly and knowledgeable. Considering the hour we went in and that the we knew what we wanted, we were in and out in under 30 minutes. However, I do wish that the delivery team was local. We just bought a couch and it didn't get delivered until almost 10pm and those guys still had to a two and a half hour drive home.

Really took care of me and my wife, but got my table with no hardware and now it’s just sitting in my dining area in pieces because they provided no hardware to build it, and when we call we just get the run around and it’s been sitting here for 3 weeks now.

My entire family went to our local Ashley furniture store in Abilene Texas. All the employees were very nice and were accommodating to my children. Michelle was great and a wealth of knowledge. She assisted in answering all of our questions and making the right decision for our family on our purchases. After the purchase we were contacted by Barbara R By phone the next day to confirm that our purchase went flawlessly. We definitely enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to family and friends.

I purchased a dining room set for my son and his new wife as a wedding gift on December 10th and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for the merchandise to arrive, it finally arrived on December 29th only to be told by the delivery team that the hard ware to put it together was not included. As of this date, we have no luck trying to get in touch with anyone at Ashley, calls remain not returned and my son has a puzzle of dining set sitting on the floor. He and his new wife have to eat their meals on the floor because of this inconvenience. I know Abilene is a military town and this is truly a fine way to treat a member of the military. I want my money back on this purchase. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. What a huge disappointment and so disgusted with the lack of Customer Service.

We received excellent customer service from the “get go.” The sales person’s name was Jimmy Lair at the Abilene location. He listened To what we needed and then made recommendations. He was very professional but at the same time very personable. He looked and Sounded like he really enjoyed his job. He helped us purchase exactly what we needed. We are not happy with Ashley Homestore - Abilene! When we made our purchase back on November 28, 2020 we were told that our tentative delivery time would be 2-6 weeks, but that our actual deliver time may vary. We checked with the store just after Christmas and we’re told delivery would be during the second week of January (within the original delivery window of 2-6 weeks). When we checked with the store on 1/11/21 to see what day that week our order would be delivered, we were told delivery would now be at the end of January. However, later that afternoon we received a text message from our salesman, Chris indicating that part of our order wouldn’t be delivered until 2/27/21, with the other part on 4/19/21. When they looked the order up at the store, the delay to the end of January seemed reasonable, but how do delivery times change so drastically within just a few hours, putting delivery at 12-20 weeks instead of the original 2-6 weeks. It seems very implausible that even with everything going on today with COVID-19 that Ashley Homestore wouldn’t have a better grasp of their manufacturing times. We had other options, but went with Ashley because their delivery would be quicker. We now feel like we were misled so that we’d chose them over their competition.

This is quite possibly the worst business in the history of businesses. Our buying experience has been terrible. There is no service after the sale. We ordered our bedroom furniture in November and given an estimated delivery of 2-6 weeks. Every time we visit the store to check on delivery they give us a different story with a different estimated delivery. Now we are told it won’t be here until March. I have a few friends in the same boat. They also say that they’ll do a “push” on the order to possibly move the delivery date sooner. All the push seems to do is push the date farther away. Our initial buying experience was fine and I even gave a 5 star rating for a $75 in store gift certificate (that I assure you I’ll never use). How wrong was I! I have since read tons of other negative reviews and it seems that people get their furniture up to 6 months late, or damaged, very often. I’ll never buy from Ashley’s again...ever!

Would give 0 stars if I could they sell you furniture take your money then it takes months and constantly calling or requesting your furniture be delivered. Don't buy furniture from them waste of time. Then they tell you no refund policy. Run away from them. Please don't say you appreciate the review. You all know what you're doing and no one cares about customer service either. I have also contacted BBB for review of store and file a complaint. That if furniture isn't delivered on the next delivery date I want my money back. I will never recommend this place. Even if they do say 2 to six weeks they tell it usually doesn't take that long. Look at all the reviews go to BBB website 94 complaints for delivery alone in the past 12 months. This is not an isolated incident.

These folks were absolutely wonderful! The salesman even knew how to spell my first name! I don't think I have ever been catered to so well and believe me, after being a manager in a large retail pet supply store, I know good customer service!

My wife and I were greeted by Victor when we walked in the door, he was very nice and made us feel right at home. We have two kids who are 6 & 4 Victor and James’s patience with our kids was outstanding. They were both very knowledgeable about the products and what would go good together. Been waiting 6 months for the furniture I bought. No refunds. No cancellation. There is a 25% "restocking" fee to "restock" furniture I haven't seen yet. The other 75% goes back to store credit. Store credit for any other furniture store in the country would be great. Store credit at Ashley is worthless obviously. The only reason I would ever go near this criminal operation is to run potential customers off. Go to Yelp, or Apple Maps for real reviews. They have 1 star. The reviews on here must be paid for.

I am so happy I came here, I have chronic pain in all my joints and especially my neck. One night of sleeping on the pillow I got fitted for and my neck pain was reduced significantly and I had an increase in my range of motion. I have had great service with Ashley Furniture. I bought a couch from them in June and went back recently to buy a bed and they helped me pick out a bed that works for my back problems. Both times they helped me get financial assistance and they did everything they could to stay within my budget. I will probably return again if I need more furniture. PLEASE BE AWARE! The staff is very friendly and helpful! They answered all of our questions and were not pushy at all.. BUT I was told by the manager that it would take 6-8wks for my sofa and love seat to come in.. That would make it the second week of January at the latest.. After multiple phone calls and holding for 45min each time all I keep getting told is my sofa is still not ready.. We are on week 15 and they just told me it looks like it'll be another 4 weeks.. I keep getting the run around and they make you sign a contract that basically says you cannot refund anything that has been delivered just store credit.. So now I have a love seat that nothing is going to match and I can get my money back for the sofa but I have to pay a cancellation fee.. People work hard for their money and I feel like they're stealing my hard earned money (I work in the hospital, it has been a rough year to say the least) and have no plans on ever giving me the sofa.

I am highly disappointed with Ashley Furniture as a company and the branch located in Abilene. We spent over $8,000 on furniture in ONE TRIP with them and we were lied to, and feel as though we have been ripped off. We ordered our furniture on September 12, 2020 and were told NONE of the furniture was back ordered or unavailable. We got the majority of our furniture within two weeks was great, however after the window they gave us on delivery (2-6 weeks) we began to question where our last piece of furniture was. We tried to call the Abilene location but to no fail the voicemail box was always full, and they would never answer. We tried calling customer service 6 times and were always on hold for nearly an hour. We gave up and just went into the store on a week night and they told us our last piece of furniture seemed to be in the warehouse and they would be in contact within the week. Another lie. After being completely fed up and waiting on hold with customer service for 45 minutes today we found out our last piece of furniture was always, in fact, back ordered AND that they don't even have access to that information within the store. As of today, November 14th, 2020, 9 weeks later we still do not have our furniture and were told the earliest ETA the have is not until December. We are so frustrated with Ashley and they will not be getting our business or time again, and we will be telling anyone who asks about them as well. It's crazy that they don't care about assisting customers in a NICE and HONEST way after spending this much time and money with them.

I was looking for a certain dining room chair, they didn't have it in the store but, they took the time to find exactly what I wanted and at a sale price. The purchase was smooth and easy. Also, there's no charge for the delivery. I will definitely shop here again soon.

Went into the store looking for a particular chest of drawers. At first the sales associate thought it was out of stock and would have to order it. But she went out of her way to see if by chance it was in warehouse and she located 2 of them. The rest for the sales process went very quickly and the chest of drawers will be delivered within 5 days. It was a great experience and I will shop again here in the near future

We had an maxing experience with our Ashley HomeStore location here in Abilene, TX! Our salesman, James, greeted us as soon as we walked in, treated us very professionally and helped us get the furniture we were looking for. We will definitely return for any pieces we need in the future!

The salesman knew the information about the product, demonstrated the features, invited me to operate the controls, and answered all my questions. The paperwork was done quickly and efficiently. The salesman was extremely nice and accommodating.

I had a mostly good experience at Ashley Furniture on Sunday the 29th. The lady helping us wasn’t very knowledgeable about the products, pricing, financing, or availability. A gentleman, that I assume is the manager, helped the lady helping us and we ended up with a good deal on a full bedroom furniture at a price we were comfortable with. Here’s to hoping delivery goes smoothly and the furniture holds up. EDIT- I was contacted by Barbara Reyes with Ashley HomeStore and told me that if I left a review that I would get a $75 gift card. I left a review that was fair which was a 4 star review. I was then called by Barbara again and told that I would only get the gift card if I changed it to a 5 star review. I believe that is highly unethical and that practice is wrong for them to buy good reviews.

Do not purchase from Abilene Ashely Furniture. The managers in the stores make promises they cannot fulfill and nearly cost us the closing of our house so we could furnish our new home. They were unable to provide a complete order after nearly 4 months of waiting. Requested a refund 2 weeks ago, still waiting to hear about if it will be approved. Complaint submitted to better business bureau. I wish I never bought furniture here.

Went in Wednesday and they respected my needs and wants. They did everything they could to make sure i could get all I needed with the budget I had to work with. Friendly and when I needed to be quick they made everything fast and easy for me at check out. Defiantly recommend going by the abilene, tx location and will be returning for all my furniture needs!

By far the best experience shopping for furniture. My time was limited so I required an efficient process. Because I went online first I knew what bed set I wanted to look at, and I thought purchasing online would give me the best deal, but the salesman was eager to get me the best possible price. I walked away in confidence that I had made the best decision because the salesman listened to my financial limits as well as my stylistic desires.

At first I had a bad experience with an employee who sold me something that they knew wouldn’t be ready for months. And wasn’t including some of what we thought it was including. But yesterday we went and got a new set for 300 off for the trouble we had.

Several calls to find out when my furniture would be delivered. Got the run around or I dont know but they'll call you answer. Finally was told 11/21 and I verified all 3 pieces would arrive but when the delivery truck driver showed up I was missing the main piece and they didn't even know I was missing my entertainment stand. Several calls again to our local store and the warehouse and would sit on hold forever only to be sent to a voicemail box that wasnt set up. Asked the local store to transfer me and got the I cant get ahold of anyone in scheduling. Love the furniture I have received but am extremely frustrated with their lack of customer service so for that I am giving a 1 start review. We were expected to pay in full the day we ordered an a month later we still don't have everything. Unacceptable.

Do not ever buy anything from this place! We were promised delivery within 6 weeks and have been fighting with them to get it delivered. We requested a refund and got the run around on that. We finally got delivery and it was the wrong items!!! And did not even receive all the items we bought. Now no one can do anything about the problem and no one is willing to help. Awful! Worst service ever! Went in on Labor Day and bought a $300 dresser for half price. They tried to sell it to me for $230 then had to fix it when I had like “uhh your ripping me off” it is now November 21st and I still haven’t even gotten a call/email/text about when I’m getting my dresser. I’ve called twice(waited on hold because there were 20+ callers in front of me) and have been told the same thing twice on two different occasions “ittl be there in 2 weeks” I walked into the store on the 11th of November and was told I would get a call on Monday or Tuesday of this week! The call never came!

I hate to leave such a poor review for this store, as every other time we have been inside has been a pleasant experience while browsing furniture, but on 11/13/20 was like something from a "what would you do" episode. -On 11/13/20 my fiancé and I went into the store with the store website on our phones and the furniture in the "cart" that we wanted and we were ready to show the employee who helped us. The female associate who attended us started out by utterly failing to comprehend which table we wanted to purchase, even though while she assisted us we physically touched the table (in their showroom) and pointed to the sign with the correct serial number. It made me feel embarrassed for her.. After approximately four times correcting her like an elementary teacher correcting a student while she input the wrong information on the store computer, she finally input the correct information for the table and chairs. That should have been red flag number 1. -The PRIMARY reason for my 1 star review is because of the highly unprofessional manner in which my fiancé was treated by this said employee. I am not going to list a name, salesperson I.D number, nor description, because I have already complained to Ashley corporate about her. While at the checkout register, the female employee turned to my fiancé and stated, "No offense, but I thought you were his mother." ... We are BOTH in our mid 20's... We should have canceled our sale right then and there to be honest, but we reallllly wanted the online sale prices for the furniture and we had already spent a considerable amount of time selecting the furniture and doing our research. -Ashley Furniture, I hope someone from your upper management reads this and addresses the issue. I have already given the employee's I.D number and description to your corporate phone line. I do not care if she is fired or has to attend remedial training for how to interact with customers, but one thing is certain, if you are going to have someone who can not act professional and keep their highly offensive comments to themselves while representing your store, then we will NEVER conduct business with your franchise again. Every other time has been a pleasant experience, and for some reason the day we went in prepared to buy furniture was quite honestly one of the most ridiculous and offensive experiences I've ever had while in a store.

I had a great experience at Ashley Homestore last week. I found what I wanted online and went to the store to order. I ordered the Tanavi 5piece sectional and Ottoman on Monday. It was delivered on Thursday! Fast, friendly service both in store and during the delivery.

Very professional staff. They answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure we had our furniture delivered prior to the holidays. I definitely recommend looking here first.

Do not shop here. The furniture is pretty and the prices are great, but when we furnished our house, we never received several pieces of what we ordered. Our date of delivery on those furniture pieces kept getting pushed back until we were finally told that they had no idea when it could be delivered. We could not receive calls about our furniture order, and we could not get a refund on what we did not receive. This is the worst customer service we have ever experienced and I would not ever shop here again and would caution anyone who does want to shop here.

This is the worst experience ever! Their sales team told me I would get my bedroom set in 2 weeks! I ordered August 1st...still no bedroom set. I have to call them and check. They give me a bogus date(its always 2 weeks out) and they never call to say anything different. I have to find out when I call them again that its 2 weeks out. Its been 3.5 months and guess what..."it will be here in December". This is the worst customer service and they don't even care. To top it off they won't even let you cancel and buy from somewhere else without paying a HUGE percentage to walk away with nothing after waiting so long. Crooks!!

Do not purchase from this store. Customer Service is terrible. You will wait for at least 45 minutes to speak with someone. They never can give you a straight answer when your furniture will be delivered. I was told 2 to 6 weeks for my furniture. It’s now been two months and still no furniture. I’ve been told 3 different dates. They blame covid. Funny because I have now seen reviews from years back and people are complaining about the same thing.

While there's a nice selection and good pricing, we couldn't get anything we liked without having to wait 4-6 weeks. So we found a living room set where we could get it within the week.

When I ordered recliner, I asked salesman how do I ensure I'll be getting the material and color I want based on what was on receipt. He stated it was good. Wrong!! He used wrong product code! I ordered recliner 22 August, it's now 4 Nov and I'm still waiting for correct recliner to be delivered.

If you want to wait over a month for your purchase to be delivered and setup incomplete shop at Ashley. If you want delivery drivers to tell your wife they can't set up your new bed because it came with the wrong bolts then buy from Ashley. If you want to visit the store multiple times and make countless calls to customer service and spend hours on hold with no resolution buy from Ashley.

We went into the store looking for sofa, the salesman who welcomed us was awesome. He was not pushy. He just let us look around and was just close-by if we have questions. We have a positive experience inside the store. We we’re also given good payment options. Me and my husband were happy with our purchase!

The salesman Mike was extremely helpful and treated my daughters (that's who we were shopping) as if they were regular customers. He would ask them questions and wanted to make sure they had picked out the furniture they would love! He had mentioned to us that he was new and if he did not know an answer to our questions, he would promptly ask the manager to get us the right answer. The manager working (can't remember his name) but he was also extremely friendly/ helpful. The bedroom suite we had picked out, my daughter wanted to switch out items for something else. The manager made that happen for us and went above and beyond to make sure the furniture would work for the space we had. Amazing experience!

NEVER AGAIN! Had a great experience at the showroom in Abilene, was told furniture would be delivered 2-6 weeks. Call at the 6 week mark and they say it will be another 2 weeks, ok that’s fine stuff happens. The new 8 week date rolls around and I decide to call again. I’m told it will be another week. The next week rolls around and they tell me it will be a additional 3 weeks. At this point I’m just mad we tell them we want our money back to which she replies they “don’t do refunds”. We ask to speak with someone else and she says she will put us on a callback list and hangs up. So now it will be at least 3 months with no furniture that is if they don’t push the date back again.

Still waiting for my order after 6 months. You get the run around every time you speak with customer service.

We are on day 89 and still no furniture or resolution. We order our furniture and paid for it July 25, 2020. We have had 3 different delivery dates and no furniture and no calls. Yesterday after an hour on hold, I spoke with the "I don't care customer care supervisor" and said we might get the furniture next week but couldn't be sure. they have a policy that they hold out 25% as a cancellation fee. If i had cancelled this during the 4 to 6 week delivery promise, maybe that is justified. Right now it is just theft. They promised to call back before end of day yesterday and no call. I have been on hold again for an hour and still no one to talk to. this is my first on line post. I know that they have new ownership, so I had hope that this would be a better company. But i was wrong. STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE ABILENE OR ANYWHERE ELSE.

Went in to buy a sofa and was done in about 20 mins. They did great, treated us well and got us taken care of promptly. Will definitely do business here again!

I have been to the store several times and finally made a decision. Each time I worked with the same sales associate (Michelle). I went in once and the second time was about a month later and Michelle remembered my name. She was fantastic to work with. The process was fast and she explained the warranty well. I will definitely be back for more furniture and ask to work with Michelle again!

Had a great experience. Stephanie was great to work with. Completely happy with the price and everything that was done for us. Can't wait for the furniture to arrive now so we can start enjoying it! Update. Two months and still no furniture or refund. Was told by 3 different people that because we had to move suddenly we can cancel the order. We really wanted it and hoped it would arrive on time.. Then "corporate" tells us there is a no refund policy. But 2 store managers and one customer support specialist said they would do it for us if the furniture could not arrive by Sep 15th. Everytime we call to check on it we can't get answers. They have to send us to someone else. And supposedly there are no notes in the system about any of this each time we have called. So for the 4th update the furniture should arrive by October 25th. But you know, we don't live there anymore and they can't deliver to Corpus. So we have that going for us... Failed to mention that the furniture was supposedly ready for delivery on the 13th of September and I would get a call from the delivery service. Never happened and then I get the 3rd update that my stuff is pushed back again.. So glad all this rushing that they were doing for me happened. Everything they tell you, its all b.s. Anyone actually ever get that furniture in the timeliness they tell you?

5 star at first. But after the sell they basically ghosted us on when furniture to arrive. And fixing a pricing issue from a price match was impossible to get answers on. The price match guarantee is subject to the stores discretion if they want to or not. No guarantee like they advertise. Left messages so many times to no return for answers. And as I walked into the store I called the store and watched front desk ignore the call. I called so many times they have apparently entered my number and decided to just stop answering.

Very disappointed with Ashley Furniture. We ordered a simple recliner July 17th and was told we would receive it 4-6 weeks later and to expect a call to schedule a day to deliver. Come late August we realized we never received a call so I called asking them what the deal was and was told that we wouldn’t get it till the end of September, I explained to the lady our situation and was told that she would talk to a manager, get this fixed and give us a call the next day with more information... never got a call, we waited till the following week and called again and was told it wouldn’t get here till the end of October. We are now in September. My husband then explained our situation again and we were directed to a manager. The manager was very sorry, told us the reason why we didn’t receive our recliner the first time was because they arm was broken, but we were never informed about this. He told us we would expect a call from him to set up a date to deliver our recliner when the recliner made it to our local warehouse. He never called the next week so my husband called back and was finally able to set a day to deliver it. A whole 2 months later we finally received our recliner. My husband and I will never spend a penny here again.

We were taken care of by Michelle. She knew her stuff and helped us make our experience quick and easy. Can't wait to get our new furniture!

Great experience at the store, everyone has always been very helpful. I have bought from Ashley Homestore a few times and have always been happy with my purchases.

Our sale rep Chris was awesome. We told him what we were looking for and he was able to answer all our questions. He was nice and easy to work with. We were able to mix and match pieces from two different sets to build our own couch. We also spoke to the Manage who was very personable. We really enjoyed our experience.

I was treated very good. The girl went way out of her way to help me. She was very courteous and polite. She explained everything she was doing. The store manager cam by, and just talked to us. He was very courteous and nice to us.

We had a great experience this past Saturday with the team at the store in Wichita Falls. They were extremely patient with us and went through a variety of options with us to find the furniture that best fit our needs. Big thumbs up to Chris, I felt like he was working for us not just trying to make a sale.

Customer service was top notch. Great experience overall would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

It's nice shopping for furniture without someone on you heels. Walked in Ashley's a gentleman introduce himself and said if I needed anything to let him know. My wife and I went in during Labor Day weekend, we received great customer service and a great deal on a new living room (couches, tv stand, coffee, and end tables) as well as a dining room table. The entire staff was great and very helpful. 10/10.

The buying experience was great at Ashley's furniture in Abilene. No hard or pushy salesman tactics. Informative and easy. Were available to answer any questions that we had. Didn't have the item we were looking for in stock (COVID). I'd say it was a great experience so far. We haven't received our item due to the shipping being 2-6 weeks out. Once received, I can leave a more accurate review! But so far so good Ashley's has been great!

It was a good instore experience. My salesman was very helpful. I believe his name was James. IT is not on my receipt. I am waiting for my delivery so I guess that will help me complete experience

All of the attendants/sales staff were very nice and accommodating. Most of the staff was educated on the furniture that we were looking for and we they didn't know an answer they went and found someone that did. That meant a lot to us.

This is our 2nd purchase from Ashley Home Store and both have been great. We are always greeted as soon as we walk in and everyone is so friendly. This last visit we were greeted by Jimmy, he answered all of questions and was willing to spend as much time as we needed while making a decision. When we decided to think about it he gave us his card and thanked us for coming in. We left but knew we would be back and ask for Jimmy. On Sunday we returned, waited on him to finish up with another family and then he helped us make our "forever" purchase. Thank you Ashley Home Store and Jimmy for making this a great shopping experience. We can't wait to get our new table.

I actually had a great time and I got a heck of a deal on furnishing my whole house. Very pleased with the service. So now that I’m a year and a half in. I take back everything I said about Ashley furniture. Absolutely horrendous on everything they do. Couch broke before the year mark and couch pillows are tearing at the seams and the purple cow protection is a joke. All stain is peeling on tables. They didn’t cover any of that. Didn’t last a year. Took 9 months to even receive the full order so do the math on how fast their quality has dissolved.

My experience in the store was great. My sales person was helpful and not pushy and he was kind and patient with me. I wasn't even sure I was going to purchase anything that day I was just looking but everything went so smoothly and I found something perfect for me. I can't wait to get my furniture and see it all set up. So excited!

Wish I had the option to post no stars. Was in the store for about 20 mins. From time to time looking around to see if I was remotely being looked at as a possible sale.... nope 👎🏽. Throughout my visit I passed all the associates, some just standing around talking to each other but, not one approached me or even attempted to greet me. Every customer should be treated w some sort of service. The level of customer service is undeserving of a one star. Perhaps it was my casual dress code that didn’t draw any desire to even pay the attention or was it my skin tone? Either way, it was unacceptable. Needless to say, we will be investing elsewhere.

Good furniture selection and good in store customer service. Now to get a hold of the delivery department I waited for over an hour on the phone as did my partner on another call earlier that day just because you have to verbally confirm for them to deliver your furniture. Why when you already did that at the store. So now if you dont verbally call them they willnt deliver. Yes they call you but if you have to work and you miss that call. You willnt get a hold of them unless you wait on the phone for a long time. No you can't call the store and tell them. They will tell you to call the delivery department. So heads up.

We had a really good experience! We went on Wednesday just looking for a new couch and met Tari and Victor who were super sweet and helpful and didn’t pressure us, or make us feel anything other than welcomed. We went home and made some measurements then returned yesterday to purchase our new sectional! Again, they were so kind the process was super easy and everything was explained to us well. Would definitely recommend!

We recently purchased two recliners at Ashley. They had a large selection, and were very helpful. We wanted matching, and we found a good design that fit us both even though we are much different in size.

We usually go to our hometown store in Amarillo but we were in the area and decided to go to the Labor Day sale. We have gone to Ashley’s several times looking for a mattress but we weren’t convinced until we met James Lail. He is an enthusiastic Christian man who truly cares about his customers. He is very informative and was able to find something for us within our budget. Needless to say we left As proud new mattress owners and we are very grateful to have met James because we were tired of searching. Thank you James!

Our experience was great the sales person Jim treated us very good he was great and helped us. Also his manager was very helpful and helped us with our purchase.

Went in for the Memorial Day sale and purchased a kitchen table set, a coffee table and end tables. Was told it would be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery due to COVID, okay understood that. Didn't get the kitchen table until around August 6 after I had been told twice it would be delivered by mid July then July 26 but still no coffee table and end tables. Was then told the coffee table and end tables would be delivered by August 18, well that day came and went so I went to the store and was told they were waiting the coffee table that should be in the warehouse by August 31 and I should get a call that day to set up delivery. Never got a call, went to Ashley's to cancel the order spoke to a manager named Edger and promised that he would have it delivered today September 5th if I wouldn't cancel my order so I said okay one more chance. I waited until 5 today (September 5) and no delivery so I called and come to find out I wasn't even scheduled for a delivery. I went to the store, spoke to someone in corporate and canceled my order and didn't have to pay the restocking fee. I have no desire to ever do business with Ashley Furniture again.

Ordered through the store and didn’t realize payments were for a year only so had to modify my order so I could afford my purchase. Sales rep at Ashley’s was very helpful.

I bought my couch in full, in cash, two months ago. They told me it would be 2-6 weeks. During the 6th week I called to get an update and was told that it had been delayed another 3 weeks (why was I not contacted about this?) The woman on the phone said she would put a push in to get it to me faster. So I called the next day to see when my new delivery date was. They told me the following week (week 7). I called near the end of week 7 and was told it would be another week. Called again when it didn't show up and was told it wouldn't be here til 2nd week of September (10 weeks). I was then told I could get a partial deliver of what they have so far (half the sectional and the ottoman.) But I would have to call and set it up myself. I tried and couldn't get through. Called ashleys again. Man on the phone set up the partial delivery for me and said that the pieces I need don't even come out til September 19th (11 weeks) and thats always been the case, there was no way I'd have gotten it before then. So why wasn't I told that from the beginning? I would have gone elsewhere if I had known it would be 11-12 weeks, not 2-6 weeks. Ashleys should have been keeping me updated throughout but instead I've been contacting them trying to figure out where my couch is. I have now been living in my new house for a month and still do not have a couch. Very disappointed. Update. My partial deliver came today. It was the wrong couch and we had to send it back.

We finally found what we wanted at an affordable price. Our salesman, Ed, was knowledgeable but not pushy. We left to discuss and when we came back, Ed was quick to complete another sale and get right back to us.

Salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable but did not presure us. The store was very clean and has a good selection of everything. The prices are great. I will definitely shop there again .

I will never in my life shop at Ashley Furniture in Abilene or Lubbock again, delivery has been a night mare. I was told not to shop here but decided to give it a try, I have been told 3 different delivery times and still have not received my order. Please save yourself the hassle and shop else where! I will be passing the word on.

I had no intention on buying anything I was helping my grandmother look for her own bedroom set, then I saw one that me and my husband both really liked and we were approved for just enough to purchase it. The lady who helped us was very nice and helpful. I scored a 14 piece bedroom set for just $1,400 a Labor Day sale. We can’t wait to get our items delivered! 10/10 experience!!

I will never shop at Ashley's again! The buying process was super easy...but they make money off of people after they sign a contract. We purchased a living room set and were told it would take 2-6 weeks to order. When I called last week to check on the status, I was told it would be November before there distributor would have it. I then canceled my order because I needed my furniture before that. I then learned that they only gave a store credit , as well as keeping 25% of what I paid. I can understand if I didn't hold up my end of the contract, but they did't hold up their end. So very frustrated.!!!!!

This was my first time to Ashley Home Store; anywhere..it was so good! Tanya greeted me, and listened to my questions closely. As i walked through the store, she watched to see my responses, and offered information regarding my interests. I was not planning on purchasing anything that day, but just needed to get ideas, and she got me all the sku numbers I wanted. We had fun! The Ashley Home Furniture in Abilene is phenomenal! My wife and I have purchased from here twice now since relocating here and both times the Sales Reps are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and overall great people to work with. They have certainly earned our business for the foreseeable future.
