Every time we go here to look at furniture, it’s always awkward. Always feel like I’m being pushed towards a furniture sale. We also got a couch from here recently and they delivered it to us with a hole in the couch caused by the delivery people. We deal with it though.somewhat expensive furniture too but you get quality furniture.

Run don’t walk to this Ashley’s! My husband and I went in looking for a new bedroom set, mattress, and dining room set, and Nic absolutely got us taken care of. He was super knowledgeable about each piece and worked with us while we were indecisive about what we wanted. We got the Kristiland set and it is equally beautiful and good quality. We will definitely be back to redo our living room with Nicolas!
From the first time I visited the store and got ideas on what type of chair I wanted, until I made my decision and spoke again to Shawn, I have been very pleased with the product choices, the knowledge, and how Shawn was willing to work with me for well over a month🙂. I will return to the South Park Meadows Ashley the next time I’m furniture shopping.
Horrible experience!!! These jokers scratched my hardwood floors during the delivery process costing hundreds of dollars in damages and SADLY we have to pay for the damages they called. STAY AWAY from this company and Ashley location.

I had a great experience at Ashley furniture at South Park Meadows. I had searched for a beige bedroom set for a long time and Kyle found exactly what I was looking for. Not only did he search the entire store with me, but he also spent a great deal of time searching online to ensure we saw all items. The experience started out a little ruff with an inexperienced sales staff trying to sell us the furniture at an overpriced amount which made us want to walk out. Shawn came over and we were able to make deal. Thanks Shawn for working with our budget.
Thankfully I was assisted by WILL in finding a living room full of “Performance” fabrics ideal for a home with pets. He also got best promotions! His help was key as it was all done by email and phone as unavailable to shop in person. God bless him..

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. Worse customer service I’ve had lately. Soon as I stepped foot into the store, got approached by a white Caucasian male with stretched ears. Which before approaching us was smoking substances outside of the store. Racially profiled us just for being Hispanic, being so hostile, and said “ I’m going to be blunt, if you aren’t purchasing it isn’t benefiting my pocket, so therefore you can’t shop here” We are new home owners, just purchased a 5bd home, sucks the customer service and the amazing deal they would’ve had. What a shame they have these poorly educated sales males working in the industry. I filed a HR complaint for this poorly service.

The product is great and the delivery service was excellent. The only issue was the month we had to wait to get our chair. Delivery kept being delayed each week.
It was a lot of fun. It was a very big group. I personally go there to enjoy the pleasures of creativity while guided by someone that has time to share some nuggets of info directed at us individually. The size of our group would have benefited from another artist, not just materials person.
I went to the Austin store yesterday to look at a table I had seen online. Kyle showed me the table, I liked it and wanted to buy it. He said he needed his tablet and walked away. As time goes by he is not returning and I see him across the store helping another customer. I waited a little longer and then left the store. I came financing approved and ready to buy and left empty handed. I can only assume the other customers were spending more. I felt embarrassed and won’t be back.

Went in to buy a bed wanted to know about finance options guy I was speaking with told me to put my info in to see my options and it signed me up for a credit card without my approval and told me specifically that I was not signing up for a credit card didn't show me options just took me right to. Credit card application that I was made to believe was just to get a visual on options for financing dont go to these scammers

This is regarding an unacceptable experience at your store today. My significant other and I, accompanied by our infant and two-year-old child, visited your showroom with serious intent to purchase. A sales representative assisted us, and we identified two living room sets we were interested in. We explicitly stated to the representative that we intended to pay for the furniture in cash. Despite this clear instruction, she brought over a finance manager who aggressively attempted to convince us that financing was superior to paying upfront. When I directly challenged this logic—questioning why we would incur debt when we possess the necessary funds—the staff’s behavior became manipulative. They immediately ceased addressing me and shifted their entire focus to my significant other, deliberately ignoring my presence in the negotiation. The climax of this unprofessionalism occurred when my partner informed them that we were not prepared to finalize the transaction today. At that precise moment, both employees simultaneously turned their backs on us and walked away without another word. Be advised of the consequences of this conduct: We had fully intended to return and complete the purchase this weekend. However, due to these dismissive and rude tactics, you have permanently lost our business.
Received damaged furniture. Was told I would be contacted by Ashley for replacement. Have called and emailed daily for 10 days and have received little information from anyone I can get in touch with, no proposed resolution, and no timeframe on when to expect resolution. Extremely poor customer service from Ashley support center.
I bought a sofa on 11/11/2025. It took almost a month to get it delivered to our house. We were wanting it before Thanksgiving because we were having family over and It was supposed to be delivered before Thanksgiving so we got rid of our old sofa to make room. Well needless to say it didn't make it. I do appreciate the effort the store made to get it here but I won't be buying from Ashley furniture again.

I can't say I've ever felt so uncomfortable at a furniture store. I had just purchased two couches at the place next door and was going to Ashley to look for a bedroom set/dining room table. I happen to have the folder with receipts from the other furniture place in-hand and the sales woman kept hounding me to look in it. After five minutes of this, I let her have a peek, and she claimed Ashley could beat the prices. I repeatedly told her that wasn't necessary - I wasn't looking to replace those items, I wanted to shop for something else, but then she disappeared with my folder that contained my receipts (which btw, had all of my personal information in it). After walking around the showroom very confused, we finally found her at the desk and she confessed they couldn't beat the prices...which I already knew. I grabbed my folder and we immediately left. As I said, it was very uncomfortable and pushy. I took my business elsewhere for the bedroom set and have no intention of visiting this location again.

To keep it real, I kind of wish I could write a zero star review but I can’t. We were greeted by a tall decrepit dude in clothes that didn’t leave much to the imagination, but he started respectfully so I figured I’d give him an ear. While he stated (several times) that he’s commissioned, me and my family members weren’t in the market for anything in particular. He proceeded to hassle us about wasting his time, and that if we couldn’t offer him a confirmation that we’d buy something, we were starving his kids and family and that we should take our need for entertainment elsewhere. Sad part is, most of that was a direct quote. Honestly kind of deplorable, given that the entire time he was visibly shaking. I’d suggest a drug screening for one, and a place that doesn’t hire people by commission. I loved home zone, and would send anyone and everyone there. They are kind and caring people, and have plenty of opportunity to shop around without hearing that you’re starving someone’s kids in the process. I didn’t grab his name, but at the very least, I hope he receives some form of reprimand for humiliating my family.
The salesman said that the furniture was made in America and the sticker on the bottom said made in Vietnam
Shawn at Ashley Furniture deserves a full five stars. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely focused on finding the right fit instead of just pushing a sale. His communication was clear, he knew the products inside and out, and he made the entire process smooth from start to finish. If you want a sales rep who listens, guides, and actually cares, Shawn is your guy.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!! We bought our furniture 1 month ago. We bought a couch with ottoman, an extendable table and 8 chairs. When the items arrived, the ottoman had a stain on it. The extendable table had scratches, exposed nails in the bottom of the table and the entire table is wobbly. The extenders can’t be inserted within the table top like they are supposed and like we saw at the store. Additionally one of the chairs came broken. We have called more than 10 times. They sent a replacement table top which was more run down and with more scratches so we had to send that back. They said that they will be ordering the broken part of the chair which was supposed to happen a month ago and has still not happened. During every call, they ask me ‘which chair are you asking to exchange’ despite us sending them photos and giving sending pictures of serial number etc to each customer representative we spoke with (over more than 10 phone calls). Out of all the frustration, we asked for the name of the supervisor, so we can speak with them, and they say that they can’t give us their names as that is confidential. One month later, we still don’t have a resolution! Our ottoman is still stained, chair is still broken and table is still with scratches and is wobbly. If you would like to keep your sanity, DO NOT buy anything from them!! If I had a chance to give negative stars, I would do have definitely done that!!

Our sales guy was great when we bought our $4000 couch late August. The delivery team was supposed to come at 3:00pm and didn’t arrive until after 9:00pm. They set everything up SO fast (probably wanting to go home) and completely RUSHED us to inspect the couch with the signature paper in our face the entire time. Overall the couch looked fine but it hasn’t even been 2 months and my cushions is already leaning and lopsided. I decided to finally take the cushions off and found that the metal frame of the issue seat is completely bent. I wasn’t going to un-attach everything to inspect the couch after the delivery team put it all together and tied the cushions on??? Now, I don’t even want this chase because the cushion isn’t washable (like it was advertised) and its cushioning is uneven! It was uneven in the store too and I was told it would be flat brand new. I asked to exchange it for a simple arm chair instead. The store refuses to and is now making me use MY warranty on a couch that hasn’t been in my home for 60 days. The best part is that I haven’t even been home for the last 24 days… So I won’t get my warranty money back because I never planned to use it but nowww I’m having to use it before 60 days? A simple arm seat should be much cheaper for them to deliver and replace versus another chase… and when you spend $4000 on a couch you should be respected as a customer and keep that customer happy.
Do not shop here if you value your time and/or money.

This review will only cover my experience at the store since my purchased will not be delivered until later, as per our request. Sales Agent very attentive, gave us the time to look around, but was always available to answer our questions. He managed to accommodate our delivery until we were ready and was able to get us a better deal than what they were offering online. Stop by the store before purchasing online, and you might get a better deal plus everyone there was very friendly, was worth the trip! We went to South Park Meadows location and I will update this review once we receive our order.
Honestly the sales guy was nice the other acmia guy seemed real judgemental they weren't very honest about the final payment plans so we just left. Beautiful furniture tho
I have had a horrible experience trying to get my couch. It was ordered incorrectly twice and the Salesperson, Roman, has refused to help us resolve it. He has rudely hung up the phone on me and refused to even let his managers know that we were needing to speak with them to resolve the issue. You’re better off spending your money and time somewhere else.
This delivery crew with Ashley Furniture parked illegally in the middle of the street, blocking access for other cars, while they assembled a bed for a neighbor. When this was pointed out, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Ashley Furniture has refused to look into this or take any action. Any company that declines to hold their contractors to any standard - and provide obviously needed extra training on proper parking and courteous interactions - is a company I will never again do business with.
Loveseat arrived damage pictures are taken, and I was told that it’s gonna be replaced would like a confirmation call
Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any retailer. My sales "professional" John Walter tried to roll in $1250 in warranty protection without me knowing. They sent me used, floor model units with damage. I called them out and customer service offered me 30% off to keep said furniture. Months later I'm still working on actually getting that credit which has involved at least 10 painstaking calls to customer service. Also, part of the order arrived with ZERO notification...not a delivery confirmed or shipping confirmed notice...which led to my rug and bookshelf being stuck on my porch while I was out of town in the middle of a rainstorm. They were both ruined upon return from my vacation. I was then made to return those items MYSELF to the store in order to get new ones sent. The store didn't even know what I was talking about in spite of me spending an hour on the phone with customer service to set up this exchange. Absolutely infuriating!!! Also, everything at this store is available online for much cheaper. Just window shop there then buy online if you must from Ashley...but I'd just recommend avoiding them completely. What a joke!
Briarrra Van Auker did a wonderful job selling us a couch today. I’m elderly. She made sure my husband and I understood the whole process. Made sure we were comfortable while doing all the paperwork. The only complaint I have it is hard to get in the store with a walker. You really need to get automatic doors or have the salesman standing up front assist with the door.

After going through Ashley's looking for the perfect new couch addition to our home, we landed on a sectional and chose a coffee table from another livingroom model. Unfortunately there was a bit of technical issues with securing our lease for furniture the day of, however, upon return the next day Evan, the Acima financing person, was available to assist and finish the sale! Another lady assisted, although I do not remember her name, sorry! Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase and we absolutely cannot wait for it to arrive next month! Thank you Ashley's!

I bought the sophie sectional from here. First they lied to me about the financing..... that one was thing. My couch is absolutely horrible and I cant even sit on it its so uncomfortable. And ashley will not do anything about it. NOTHING AT ALL!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!!

TLDR: Our interaction with a staff member made us leave mid visit, we wouldn't go back. My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to casually browse. When we first entered the store, a salesperson approached us almost immediately with a sales pitch. We politely explained that we were just browsing and would reach out if we needed help. Instead of respecting that, he kept pushing questions and information, making it difficult to break away. Eventually, we managed to start shopping on our own and were enjoying looking around together. When we reached the bed section, on the complete opposite side of the store, the same staff member once again made a direct beeline toward us. This interaction was even more uncomfortable. Both my husband and I tried, multiple times, to politely end the conversation, probably three or four times in total, but every attempt was ignored. Instead, he kept restarting his sales pitch, asking questions, and pressing for details even after we made it clear that we just wanted to look on our own. As someone with social anxiety, being unable to disengage despite repeated polite refusals was stressful. Sales is a customer-facing role, which requires listening to both what customers say and the tone they’re giving. We were clearly signaling discomfort and asking for space, but that was not respected. At that point, both my husband and I were so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the store entirely. It’s understandable that salespeople have a job to do, but pushiness to the point of making customers walk out is not good customer service.

I was really disappointed with this store. Out of all the furniture stores we visited, this one had the least friendly staff and the most pushy sales approach. It made the shopping experience uncomfortable and stressful. On top of that, the location isn't ideal, and the selection of sofas was underwhelming. Most of the sofas were significantly overpriced, especially when you compare the quality to what other stores offer. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for value or a relaxed shopping experience.

I am extremely disappointed with Ashley Furniture and their warranty program. This is the second time I’ve tried to file a warranty claim, and once again I have received absolutely no response. On a previous occasion, my claim was actually marked as closed, yet no one ever came to inspect or fix the issue. It feels like their warranty is nothing more than an empty promise. The lack of communication and accountability is beyond frustrating. When you spend thousands of dollars on furniture, you expect the company to stand behind their products. Unfortunately, Ashley Furniture has failed me twice now. I would not recommend relying on their warranty program—it simply doesn’t deliver.

Ive been to Ashley stores in 3 different states and had the same experience each time. We came to buy and we were never approached by a sales associate. All the furniture looks the same. Cheap, not built to last, ugly, uncomfortable. Go else where if you can. But buyer beware! Other furniture stores by Ashley furniture and sell it at their store so be sure to ask where it came from.

Ashley's associate, Baraa, was professional and helpful. I was not looking to buy anything that day, but instead wanted to see the discounts I may be able to get over Labor Day. I was looking for a fullsize bed for a guest bedroom. Baraa showed me a bed I had seen online. Having told her I wanted to think about it for a day or two, and maybe buy it online if the discounts were good, she offered a good deal that closely matched the current online price, but also included a furniture protection plan. I don't usually buy the protection plans, but her offer made it a no-brainer, more or less.
This is how it started: Great experience with our sales person Ryan L. Took us right to the style and options we were looking for. Super friendly and helpful all the way around. Got a great mid century media cabinet and matching bookshelf. Would go back again. This is how its going: Well sucks that I have to recant all the nice things I said based on the handling of the main piece of furniture we went there to buy. I ordered a media cabinet it was backordered which was fine I was notified before the first delivery was scheduled and we rescheduled. On the reschedule the cabinet had arrived damaged to their warehouse again fine but I found out from the delivery driver as they delivered my bookshelf. Which again would have been fine if someone had let me know the day before and I didn't spend my whole morning disassembling my current media center and electronics. I had to call to find out what was happening and the call center employees were uninformed on anything regarding the damage issue. I was annoyed but let it go. Scheduled what should have been final delivery and they delivered the wrong cabinet. My husband thought it looked odd but at this point it had been 6wks and it was one we had looked at. I had to go through two sets of customer service to get them to believe that the wrong thing was delivered even though their own drivers took a photo and emailed it through their system. I emailed my original sales person looking for some sort of help or empathy and got zero response. They picked up the cabinet the next day but no one had information on the one I paid for. My husband was so annoyed at this point we called to cancel our order on Saturday. I was told it would take up to 72hr to put the request in and 7-10 days for the refund to actually hit my account. Again fine I waited 72 business hours and heard nothing. Had to call this morning to get my refund confirmation. That final human was at minimum trying to be helpful though her internal system wasn't making it easy. I've waited a long time for furniture before I'm okay with back orders. I work in this kind of industry, but when you can't do the least and communicate with a customer I don't know what to say. Would I have been bummed that the order was taking longer than expected of course but I would have waited. And honestly the sale could have been saved if at any point it felt like someone took any kind of accountability. Customers are still important after you make the sale.
Not as many living room options as I thought
Kyle Wise greeted me at the door, he was very nice and showed me exactly where to look for the type of furniture I needed. I told him about the color of wood, examples from online, he showed the pieces to me to help imagine what they would be, even down to the measurements. He was very knowledgeable about every piece in the store and was very patient helping me. I'm going back this weekend to order more!
The delivery department is a complete nightmare, A person named Michael called me on September 3 to verify my delivery address And stated my order would be Delivered for September 5. Now they’re saying my order was never scheduled for delivery and scheduled me 2 weeks out. Completely unprofessional, poor customer service, lacks communication.
Shopping at the Ashley Home Store at South Park Meadows, was a breeze. I went in not sure what exactly I was looking for but with the help of Josh Holley and Shawn Rushing, I found exactly what I wanted and afford. These Sales Specialists were so knowledgeable, cooperative and helpful. I left feeling so happy and excited. I highly recommend Ashley Home Store at South Park Meadows. I was reluctant to make this review, however given my recent shopping experience I figure that it would be constructive for the employees of this establishment need to hold themselves accountable. I think Ashley has if not some of the most overbearing and intimidating salespeople I have ever encountered. Trying to get me on the first couch is wild, I mean I get it you can try? What is so hard to grasp that you have a 10,000 sqft building and someone wants to want through it with just their friend. If someone asks you to give them space and they’d let you know when they were ready, you would think they would leave you alone and let you come to them. No no no, that’s not how it works at the Ashley in Southpark Meadows. They probably checked up on me over 10 times it’s ridiculous. They also were pushing hard to for the pre qualification, which fine whatever, but when you’re intercepted by another associate Nick I think was his name, tempurpedic labcoat and is the finance manager. Fine whatever I let them do their pitch. But when you tell someone you’re perfectly fine with your mattress and you don’t want/need one. Gives them all the more reason to just push it on you three more times. Which I’ll give it to him he was well spoken, but I’m not easy. It’s pretty pitiful when two salesman, break down on you saying it’s a slow week and I’m going to be the only sale I get, so they try and throw me some crazy kinda deal, slapping on all the added costs, warranty, white glove delivery. I didn’t ask for that, I didn’t ask for yall to write this one time only deal. From the get go yall were trying to get me for this one couch, maybe getting two people up on another piece of furniture would have worked. Albeit I would have bought 4 things if these people did not make me so uncomfortable and stressed out. I did really like a lot of their furniture, really comfortable, the fabrics were nice and overall great quality for most of the prices. My friend described these people pretty well, vultures. I couldn’t agree more!

Worst experience ever in a furniture store (Southpark Meadows). My wife and I just started looking for furniture for our new home, which we are closing on next month. We even made it clear to them that we were only beginning our search and not ready to buy today. Instead of helping us explore options, they immediately tried to push a mattress on us before even showing other furniture. On top of that, the salespeople kept pressuring us to buy right away, saying that the price would change after this week. Then a manager came over with an attitude, was clearly rude, and didn’t seem happy to help us at all. The salesman himself was good, but the way things were handled overall ruined the experience. When they realized we weren’t making a purchase today, both the manager and the salesman just left us without any courtesy or professionalism. We’ve been to several other furniture stores, and none treated us this poorly—this was the only place where we had such a bad experience. Honestly, they deserve 0 stars if that were possible. The store does have a good collection of furniture, but unfortunately not the right people to deal with customers. We will not be returning and certainly won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Not just selling furniture but what will my life need (like a sofa that the dog can’t scratch or puncture, or the bedding covers for spills for children one day). Sales rep Will was excellent in his sales skills as well as his customer service. unfortunately I got a better price at a different store but also bad reviews. Will was very transparent in your store policy and left me feeling insecure since he stated once it's in your home and you sign off you own it. That didn't sit well with me especially after reviews. I called to cancel the order and requested of your store manager Horace to please process the refund. When I followed up to check if the order had been canceled it had not been and was actually scheduled for delivery. This proved the bad reviews as some similar experiences were shared.
WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Went to the store in person, bought a bed everything cool. I get my delivery date for FRIDAY, nobody showed up. Saturday morning I get a call telling me they’re on their way, nobody showed up! It wasn’t until MONDAY the delivery people showed up not just that, one of the guys comes with HIS KIDS. I paid the assembly fee and while that was going on I had 2 children running around my house! When I don’t even have kids. Totally freaking ridiculous.!
Great experience here! Came in with four children in tow and the staff was so welcoming. Lena was the salesperson working with us and she was very helpful, kind and not pushy! Love that they have a kids play area in the back of the store so my kids thought the experience was fun! They have a great selection and fair pricing.

Avoid Ashley Furniture. hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I was supposed to have the couch I ordered delivered 8/8. I find get a text saying it was delivered. it wasn’t. but because I was expecting a new couch to be delivered, I got rid of my old couch because they do t hep with removal. but also now I don’t have a couch. I called the customer service, they say there’s no notes on why the order was postponed, and they’d call me. they didn’t. I go up to the store to get answers 6 hours after calling CS and get told they do t know. both time I’m told my couch will be delivered 8/9/25. but they’ve opened investigation tickets. I go on my way cuz they say they are going to call me. they don’t. I then get a text telling me to reschedule for later next week. mind you I currently don’t have a couch! the old one is gone. so I get into a text thread with CS and im still not sure if the person wasn’t a robot. no empathy. I didn’t make the mistake that left me without a couch. scratch that, the mistake I made was going with Ashley in the first place. I then try calling CS again after the thread ends and no answer. I go back up to the store and they give me a different number. I call it the next day 8/9 because it was after their call hours when I got the number. the lady I spoke with, great, real sweet. tried to help me. got the delivery date moved up by 24 hours but I’m still without a couch for 3ish days. they REFUSE to compensate me for the further inconvenience. I spoke to a supervisor who rose his voice to me, and faked empathy to get me off the phone. he said I wasn’t to be given additional compensation unless there was further delay. I told him that the original refund I was given was for the delivery that was supposed to be made today, and now it won’t be till later in the week so by that logic I have experienced further delay. he still refused. AVOID doing business with Ashley. they WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOU!! Ifor the amount of money I spent, I expect way better service than confusing communications, lack of communication, and rude communication. I did what I was supposed to as a customer, and now I don’t have a couch

Crap furniture. Bought a sleeper sofa and not even 2 weeks after delivery, something underneath breaks and the middle now sinks in. Contacted claims dept didn't get a response for almost a week. Tried again and finally got a hold of someone. Followed the instructions they gave me...nothing. contacted the person that I talked to for the claim and this time she did it herself, again nothing. I will never recommend this place to anyone amd never buy from here again.

I love My chairs and an excellent value, due to price match. My sales person was fine although she gave me some wrong information about NOT needing to be present for delivery, Although I DID need to be present. My one major complaint is that you have no provision for viewing the product at home or return, Short of damage. It can be hard to visualize a white chair in an otherwise brown and blue environment. I was willing to pay for the chair and bring it home and return it within 24 hours, or even within two hours. But there was no option for that. I can’t see me ever making a major purchase with you because of This kind of inflexibility.

I’ve shopped at Ashley before and never had a problem. This latest incident has changed my mind due to the several mishaps that happened with delivery. I had to call 5 times to get the delivery address correct. For reference, I was purchasing furniture for my grandma. Her home and belongings were lost in the recent floods in San Antonio, so while my address is in Austin, hers is in San Antonio and I made this abundantly clear from the start, before even signing a contract. It took about 45mins to close the contract at the store due to the different address, which for a nationwide chain like Ashley’s, I didn’t understand the discrepancy but went along because my grandma needed furniture. A day or so later, the chatbot sent a text and of course it showed the wrong delivery details. I called the store and was connected with someone who seemed rather annoyed to have to be dealing with this. After quite a bit of back and forth, I got the email confirmation with the correct address. Then I get another chatbot delivery confirmation, still with the wrong address. I had to call again, this went back and forth and then my delivery got canceled and rescheduled to a different date, causing even more delays is a very desperate situation to get my grandma moved. So then I get another chatbot delivery and finally the right delivery address is listed. I confirmed and was set to be the 1st stop in the morning. I woke my elderly grandmother up at 5am so we could drive down to SA and be there in time for this delivery so I can start moving her, and saw on the tracker that the truck was driving to Austin with her things instead of SA. I called immediately when I saw this on the tracker and was told this was an error, they had the wrong address. They said it would be delivered by 6pm or earlier once they were done with Austin deliveries so I agreed to wait since I was already in SA. I called again in the afternoon because we were still waiting around and hadn’t heard anything. To wrap this up, the truck driver didn’t get there until 8:45 PM. Before we left, I also noticed damages on the nightstand. All that and it’s still not right. This has all been such a frustrating and difficult process for us. It really shouldn’t be that big of a process to have a different mailing address than billing, but here we are.

Me and a friend went in just to look around so that we knew what to order online but the workers were being very pushy. Made the whole experience very uncomfortable when they’re trying to get us to buy something that second. Not to mention on the way out one of the girls in a lab coat was being very rude and extra pushy when we said we were probably gonna order online saying stuff like “why would you do that” “why not just buy right now” “okay so you don’t like customer service”, then rolled her eyes and said “okay have a good day then” and walked off to smoke outside. Not good experience wouldn't recommend
I am very disappointed with the delivery process. I was provided with a delivery ETA of 3:15-6:15 pm. The driver did not arrive until 9:25 pm. On top of that, a part was missing and the bed frame was not able to be fully assembled. One of the drivers by the name of Jordan, provided his cell number and said he would return with the part the following day (Sunday) between 12-1 pm. Around noon we called to check his ETA and he said now he would arrive between 3-4 pm. He ended up not showing up until the following day (Monday). And upon his arrival, he brought his kids with him to finish the assembly. They were running around the house and making a mess. Mind you, we were still in the process of moving things from our previous place and this whole situation delayed us. This was the worst experience. Never buying from Ashley's Furniture again. The bedframe is beautiful but it was not worth the hassle and inconvenience.
Well, I won’t be back like I said I would. I don’t mind being greeted when I walk in a store but when I can’t even take 10 steps without the sales pitch starting it’s annoying. Also, being overly enthusiastic and complementary is unnecessary. Our interaction with the sales person today was ok until they knew I was probably going to wait to get my husband’s input before I make a purchase. When I said I was going to wait for him I was told sometimes I just need to decide and that if he doesn’t like it I can exchange; then when I said I’d bring him in the sales person’s entire countenance changed. It actually ended up making myself and my daughter feel uncomfortable. That tells me everything is an act… I was also told to make sure and ask for them bc someone else said that and didn’t . That’s not going to cause me to want to follow through, that gives me the ick. Then when we went outside they came outside to say goodbye and to remind us to look for a text. I might have bought a couch but this whole experience turned me off. PLUS, I was told the sale ends today. It doesn’t say that online, so is that true, or just another sales tactic.

If I could give 0 stars I would, worse experience ever. My husband and I were just looking around for bed frames just to see what they had and we told the employee Kyle we were just going to look around. 5 minutes past the manager came up to us with attitude. Asking if we were going to buy today saying that they take their job serious.That why did we go there specifically if theres other furniture stores around. Other words if we were not going to buy to leave the store. That’s cool so if you’re in South Park Meadows area I would definitely recommend somewhere else.

It's a warranty scam. I've tried twice to ask for help, but they don't. They send you to talk to Expend, and Expend can't solve the problem. Expend sends you to a website to talk to a robot, but it doesn't solve the problem. In the end, I end up cleaning my sofa myself every time I need to.

It was horrible just even walking into this store. There were five salespeople waiting like vultures about ten feet in front of the door. I didn’t take but 5 steps into the store and someone was barraging me with sales jargon. After he couldn’t hook us, he called over another guy who started talking about beds when we were looking for a sofa and wanted us to go look at mattresses!!! I was there with my two sons and I just wanted to sit on the sofas with them and try out what we might like. Instead, I got two other dudes on us like I had a third and fourth son. Maybe I had a sign on my head that said “brain dead”. It’s sad really. There’s really no need to be followed around by salespeople when you are clearly trying to walk away from them and you feel harassed. Update Sunday, Father’s Day. I tried texting the number the owner gave me to contact and the chat was terminated.

Unfortunately, I encountered two sales representatives who were unfriendly, unhelpful, and displayed a lack of interest in addressing my questions. Moreover, they attempted to overcharge me for the furniture. However, after speaking with a manager, the situation improved significantly. The manager was knowledgeable, courteous, and provided excellent service, which ultimately led to a successful purchase of $8,100 worth of furniture. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and consider providing additional training to your sales staff to ensure that customers receive the level of service they expect and deserve.

The tall curly-haired salesman was so incredibly rude. First of all, he tried to sell me something that was online for $180 for $500. When I told him this, he then said the cheapest he could do was $280. So when I said I needed a second to think about it, and I apologized for wasting his time, he rolled his eyes and stood up and walked away without saying a word. Then I got on the Ashley Website right there on my phone and doubled-checked, and sure enough I can get that same piece for $197 if I was just to order myself. What the heck dude. I recently bought a 4-bedroom home, and as I continue to furnish it, I will probably go elsewhere.

I recently visited this store for the first time while shopping for a couch, and my experience was mixed. I was impressed with Kyle, who provided excellent assistance and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. However, I found the manager, Franco, to be overly pushy, which made me feel that his priority was closing a sale rather than understanding my needs. While the rest of the staff seemed attentive and responsive, this was not my experience with Franco. Ultimately, this influenced my decision to purchase a couch from Rooms To Go instead. If you visit this store, I highly recommend seeking out Kyle for his exceptional customer service.
I had a terrible experience buying a couch from this store over Memorial Day weekend. First, the salesperson Kyle tried to force me into buying a protection plan by saying the discounts only applied if I bought it. I had to show him lower prices from the Ashley website and others just to get a fair deal. Then I was told I could delay delivery until after my move — but no one mentioned it would take weeks. So I offered to just pick it up myself. Only the day before, I got a text saying the pickup location was in New Braunfels, which is way too far from me. When I called the store, the manager admitted this was unacceptable and waived the delivery fee, promising I’d have the couch delivered by Tuesday or Wednesday (June 3–4). Then it got worse: when I called to confirm delivery, I was told I never paid, even though I paid in full with my credit card on Memorial Day. Now they’re claiming I was refunded for the couch — which I never asked for and never received. So now I’m left with no couch, no refund, and a complete runaround from this store. This has been a nightmare of false information, shady tactics, and zero accountability. I’ve wasted time, energy, and trust — and I still have nothing to show for it. Avoid this place at all costs.
My sales associate, John Walter, from the Southpark Meadows in Austin, TX went above and beyond to help me with ordering a sectional sofa. My son moved to Austin yesterday, and John was so helpful in coordinating the order and delivery for me (from NY)!
Ashley Homestore had a great selection and solid quality pieces! I was tagging along with friends and fell in love with a bedroom set I wasn’t in the market for. Derek greeted us on his feet as soon as we walked in. The quickest thing to kill my shopping experience is a SALES person, but Derek did a great job of lingering at a distance. He was always close by but not pushy or intrusive. We left the store buying nothing but when I called later that day to complete my purchase, Derek remembered me and exactly what I wanted. My friends and I went back the next day to check a couch again, and Derek, again greeted us on his feet, and offered great customer service. I haven’t received my pieces yet, but my experience with Derek was worth a review.
Go the other route to rooms to go 😃 placed a delivery order with them and had the run around as to when I would actually get my delivery. Ended up canceling the order and went right down to the competitor

We didn’t go in today intended to buy a new sofa and loveseat today but Nick worked with us and was so accommodating that we now have a delivery scheduled for Saturday. Would have no hesitations ever buying from Ashley Furniture again! Customer service cannot be beat!!!

We got a motorized sectional that has stain resistant fabric and seats six people and a beautiful hard wood table that expands out to seat 10 people with 6 chairs for $5600!! Unheard of!!! Our shopping and buying experience over the past two days could not have been more positive! My wife and I purchased a double power recliner, new mattresses and power bases, kitchen table with chairs, a lift top coffee table, and matching end tables. Selecting these items took several hours over two days. But our sales person John Walter was exceedingly patient, knowledgable and informative. He worked very hard to support us in considering a variety of options (Ashley has a VERY large selection!) all intended to help us make just the right choices. Ordered 3 rooms of furniture, when the dining room and bedroom furniture was delivered, not assembled as promised, they said I would receive free assembly .when I call about this, the store refers me to warehouse and delivery which have given me the RUNAROUND FOR 6 WEEKS, tell the store and nothing happens tried to assemble the mirrored dresser, found box busted and no instructions, took me 2 days to assemble the bed with headboard, after weeks sleeping on floor, again said Free assembly

Poor experience today while browsing. The pressure they put on you, followed by downright condescension and rudeness is unacceptable. We stopped in today to look around as we are in the market for a mattress and new furniture after a move. We are greeted at the door, let them know we are just looking around today and move along. Next, the manager finds us and introduces himself and we politely make small talk and then let him know we are just browsing and not looking for anything particular. We then get to the mattresses and not two minutes later, another person comes over and welcomes us to “his kingdom”, the mattress section. It’s pretty clear he was sent over by the manager, but that’s besides the point. I know he is a salesman, and he is going to give us a spiel which is fine, so I let him go ahead. After his pitch, I politely ask if it’s alright if we take a look around, and that we will let him know if we have any questions. He says “huh?” as if I am speaking another language, so I repeat myself and at this point he says in a condescending tone “so you guys are mattress experts?” I’m sorry, but do I need to be an “expert” to know if a bed that I am laying on is comfortable or not? Despite repeatedly indicating that you are just browsing and not looking for help, they will follow you around the store trying to pressure you into buying from them. I certainly didn’t feel inclined to buy anything from this store due to the fact that they can’t respect such a basic request. How can I trust that the requests I make about buying $1000s of dollars of furniture would be respected? Saved myself the trouble and walked next door to the other furniture place where I was given the space I requested.

Ashley has a huge selection of kitchen, chairs and dining. We were able to find the chairs that I needed to go with the table that I already had, and I picked up on a couple awesome pictures and the photos as well. My salesperson Will, was awesome in assisting.
My most crappy experience in this ashley furniture store. The sales guy was so pressuring. We had to say sorry to him for asking for prices of the furniture. When the deal was not coming in our budget and we wanted to leave, he just said please don’t come to this store. This just wow. I would advise you to avoid this store and check either cedar park or Pflugerville store.
Have not had the furniture Delivered as of yet. the delivery experience as been awful. I was assured I would receive texts for confirmation. But i keep getting emails that I don't see till to late( I'm out of the country for work) and I'm about to cancel this entire purchase. UPDATE; This issue is because our sales rep entered my phone # incorrectly. We noticed at the store & was assured it would be updated correctly. It wasn't. After 2 missed deliveries I called & was told the # would be updated.....it wasn't again. Now, I just got off the phone & # updated once again I hope. LOL How hard is it to update a customers profile with the correct phone #? Ashley, contact your IT dept plz. All associates have been gracious. But the end result is I'm still waiting for a delivery for another 3 days. If I worked from home I guess this wouldn't be an issue:) also thank you for the reply.
Marc DeJesus was extremely helpful in having us select a couch. He listened to what we wanted, and found it pretty quickly as opposed to trying to sell us on something we didn’t want. He also helped us pick the payment plan that offered the greatest savings. If I needed additional furniture, I would return to Marc.

I had a great experience selecting & buying a nice leather power recliner at Ashley Southpark Meadows last week. The friendly salesman, Kyle Vigue, met me shortly after I entered, & I told him what I was looking for. He was able to take me directly to the options scattered on the showroom floor, including bouncing back & forth to compare chairs. It was a nice laidback experience with NO sales pressure from Kyle. He helped me negotiate the price for add-ons to get the best deal for me. He thoroughly explained the purchase, delivery & warranty I purchased and I walked out happy (instead of stressed like I often do at some other high pressure furniture stores). My chair was delivered <week later, unpacked & fully assembled by the delivery men (worth the extra $20). I’m very happy with my new, beautiful recliner & will return to Ashley SP Meadows for future furniture purchases!

Working with customer service was a nightmare. My shipment was set for delivery twice and delayed each time. I was promised VIP service. Crickets from everyone but Derek. I will never shop at Ashley again. I have tried to text and call the number the owner response gave me. It is a totally automated number and you cannot speak to a real person. AGAIN no response from the store. I am so upset and frustrated at the lack of communication. Do not shop at this store

Great delivery job, and I love my recliner chair but it makes a noise when it rocks. They offered new part said noise means base is broken. When it comes in I'm to call to schedule someone to come out. If they can't fix it, they will replace. I love my couch. Not sure why, but Ashley only comments on great reviews... better to grow by addressing all.

Kyle Wise was amazing and very low pressure about me buying my new couch. I had just came from another store and the pressure was so high while trying to make the decision on a big investment. When I went to Ashley and worked with Kyle he took his time to show me different sofas and went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Never did he try to make me stay in the store, rather he helped me find something that fits what I want within my budget. Thank you Kyle and thank you Ashley for helping! This is the sofa I decided to go with in a different configuration.

Purchased a rather expensive mattress, frame,elevation kit, etc... Two deliveries later, and we're still waiting on Ashley Store in Austin Texas to get the right material that will bolt up to the frame, elevation kit. TWO separate crews on two separate trips and still no resolution. Called the store three times asking to speak to a manager, left my contact information and still haven't received a call back from this location..

SEE UPDATE BELOW The store experience was very positive. There seemed a genuine interest in me finding the tight product, which in this case was a recliner. I was offered enough different products to understand what I liked and didn't like. I appreciate any place that sells its products on their own virtues and doesn't stoop to denigrating a competitor's product. Recliners are expensive items and there was no rush to sell. I did end up buying and was pleased with what I will be getting. There was a very large selection available, and were I to be in the market for other new furniture, I would return. One feature I did like was that a five-year service plan was offered and accepted, and if unused during that period, the cost of the plan comes pack to me as a store credit, costing essentially nothing if I don't use it and spend use it toward a future purchase of at least $500. UPDATE: Great recliners. No problem with the product. The store people were great on the day I bought it. But one day when the power was out and the chair wouldn't work, I wondered about backup power. The simple way would be to call the store so someone could explain. Turns out you can't call the store. Once they have your money, they don't want to be bothered by pesky customers and have a third-party service answer all calls. No option to talk to the store at all. The third-party service clearly had no expertise and didn't know about the 9 v batteries that the manual explained once I found it on the Lay-Z-Boy site. All the agent could say was no, it doesn't work when the power is out. They apparently didn't know about the rechargeable supply that's available. Yes, I know it doesn't work without power. That's why I called. And the third-part agent also did not know any way to contact the store or apparently to connect to someone who actually knew something about the product. Once I get past my knee replacement and can crawl around and investigate, I suspect I can find the expired 9v batteries and change them. Any one at the store could have answered that in a few seconds. But no, too much of a burden to actual talk to a customer. It's too bad, but I will not do business with Askley again, and I will advise anyone who asks to avoid them. They don't want to hear from customers after the sale? Fine, here's one they won't hear from again. This is a ridiculous way to do business.

We bought a couch from Ashley’s about 2 1/2 years ago. Nice friendly people at that time. When it came to the paperwork, we were told, that we HAD TO buy the additional warranty. (Couldn’t opt out of it) If we didn’t use the warranty in five years that we could get that applied towards the next purchase. Sounded good. Now that we tried to use said warranty and we were DENIED. (Our couch cushion, stopped cushioning) We have bought 3 living room sets, kitchen table, multiple bedroom sets in the past 14 years. Forced into buying a warranty this last time and then not standing behind their product.. Is it the warranty company or Ashley’s Furniture behind it? Think again before buying from somewhere that doesn’t stand behind their work. After reaching out to the information provided below…. Nothing changed…
I can be very indecisive and Asia and another manager with bright hair can’t remember her name was patient and very supportive in helping me make decisions. I highly recommend her and Ashley's for great customer service. Definitely went above and beyond to help me.
