Multiple sales people cornered us and started hammering us with questions when we were just browsing. Super unpleasant and uncomfortable. Outdated and pushy sales tactics here. Just bought a new sofa at Joybird and had the best customer service at the Domain's showroom.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!! We bought our furniture 1 month ago. We bought a couch with ottoman, an extendable table and 8 chairs. When the items arrived, the ottoman had a stain on it. The extendable table had scratches, exposed nails in the bottom of the table and the entire table is wobbly. The extenders can’t be inserted within the table top like they are supposed and like we saw at the store. Additionally one of the chairs came broken. We have called more than 10 times. They sent a replacement table top which was more run down and with more scratches so we had to send that back. They said that they will be ordering the broken part of the chair which was supposed to happen a month ago and has still not happened. During every call, they ask me ‘which chair are you asking to exchange’ despite us sending them photos and giving sending pictures of serial number etc to each customer representative we spoke with (over more than 10 phone calls). Out of all the frustration, we asked for the name of the supervisor, so we can speak with them, and they say that they can’t give us their names as that is confidential. One month later, we still don’t have a resolution! Our ottoman is still stained, chair is still broken and table is still with scratches and is wobbly. If you would like to keep your sanity, DO NOT buy anything from them!! If I had a chance to give negative stars, I would do have definitely done that!!

We have bought furniture from this place before and both times we were helped by Franco. He has been patient with us and was very helpful.

Our sales guy was great when we bought our $4000 couch late August. The delivery team was supposed to come at 3:00pm and didn’t arrive until after 9:00pm. They set everything up SO fast (probably wanting to go home) and completely RUSHED us to inspect the couch with the signature paper in our face the entire time. Overall the couch looked fine but it hasn’t even been 2 months and my cushions is already leaning and lopsided. I decided to finally take the cushions off and found that the metal frame of the issue seat is completely bent. I wasn’t going to un-attach everything to inspect the couch after the delivery team put it all together and tied the cushions on??? Now, I don’t even want this chase because the cushion isn’t washable (like it was advertised) and its cushioning is uneven! It was uneven in the store too and I was told it would be flat brand new. I asked to exchange it for a simple arm chair instead. The store refuses to and is now making me use MY warranty on a couch that hasn’t been in my home for 60 days. The best part is that I haven’t even been home for the last 24 days… So I won’t get my warranty money back because I never planned to use it but nowww I’m having to use it before 60 days? A simple arm seat should be much cheaper for them to deliver and replace versus another chase… and when you spend $4000 on a couch you should be respected as a customer and keep that customer happy.

Do not shop here if you value your time and/or money.

This review will only cover my experience at the store since my purchased will not be delivered until later, as per our request. Sales Agent very attentive, gave us the time to look around, but was always available to answer our questions. He managed to accommodate our delivery until we were ready and was able to get us a better deal than what they were offering online. Stop by the store before purchasing online, and you might get a better deal plus everyone there was very friendly, was worth the trip! We went to South Park Meadows location and I will update this review once we receive our order.

Honestly the sales guy was nice the other acmia guy seemed real judgemental they weren't very honest about the final payment plans so we just left. Beautiful furniture tho

I have had a horrible experience trying to get my couch. It was ordered incorrectly twice and the Salesperson, Roman, has refused to help us resolve it. He has rudely hung up the phone on me and refused to even let his managers know that we were needing to speak with them to resolve the issue. You’re better off spending your money and time somewhere else.

This delivery crew with Ashley Furniture parked illegally in the middle of the street, blocking access for other cars, while they assembled a bed for a neighbor. When this was pointed out, they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Ashley Furniture has refused to look into this or take any action. Any company that declines to hold their contractors to any standard - and provide obviously needed extra training on proper parking and courteous interactions - is a company I will never again do business with.

Loveseat arrived damage pictures are taken, and I was told that it’s gonna be replaced would like a confirmation call

Hands down the worst experience I've ever had with any retailer. My sales "professional" John Walter tried to roll in $1250 in warranty protection without me knowing. They sent me used, floor model units with damage. I called them out and customer service offered me 30% off to keep said furniture. Months later I'm still working on actually getting that credit which has involved at least 10 painstaking calls to customer service. Also, part of the order arrived with ZERO notification...not a delivery confirmed or shipping confirmed notice...which led to my rug and bookshelf being stuck on my porch while I was out of town in the middle of a rainstorm. They were both ruined upon return from my vacation. I was then made to return those items MYSELF to the store in order to get new ones sent. The store didn't even know what I was talking about in spite of me spending an hour on the phone with customer service to set up this exchange. Absolutely infuriating!!! Also, everything at this store is available online for much cheaper. Just window shop there then buy online if you must from Ashley...but I'd just recommend avoiding them completely. What a joke!

Briarrra Van Auker did a wonderful job selling us a couch today. I’m elderly. She made sure my husband and I understood the whole process. Made sure we were comfortable while doing all the paperwork. The only complaint I have it is hard to get in the store with a walker. You really need to get automatic doors or have the salesman standing up front assist with the door.

Fernando was the first sales associate who spotted my husband and me when we walked in. After going through Ashley's looking for the perfect new couch addition to our home, we landed on a sectional and chose a coffee table from another livingroom model. Unfortunately there was a bit of technical issues with securing our lease for furniture the day of, however, upon return the next day Evan, the Acima financing person, was available to assist and finish the sale! Another lady assisted, although I do not remember her name, sorry! Overall, we are very satisfied with our purchase and we absolutely cannot wait for it to arrive next month! Thank you Ashley's!

We went mostly to look around, but thanks to Serenity, we were able to choose several items for our brand new house. Thank you so much, Serenity! You were very kind and professional and made the whole experience entertaining and worth it.

The power recliner couch and loveseat we purchased are great. Our salesperson Abby was a pleasure to work with. The delivery went off without a hitch, very nice courteous delivery guys. We highly recommend Ashley for a great furniture buying experience.

I bought the sophie sectional from here. First they lied to me about the financing..... that one was thing. My couch is absolutely horrible and I cant even sit on it its so uncomfortable. And ashley will not do anything about it. NOTHING AT ALL!!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!!

TLDR: Our interaction with a staff member made us leave mid visit, we wouldn't go back. My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to casually browse. When we first entered the store, a salesperson approached us almost immediately with a sales pitch. We politely explained that we were just browsing and would reach out if we needed help. Instead of respecting that, he kept pushing questions and information, making it difficult to break away. Eventually, we managed to start shopping on our own and were enjoying looking around together. When we reached the bed section, on the complete opposite side of the store, the same staff member once again made a direct beeline toward us. This interaction was even more uncomfortable. Both my husband and I tried, multiple times, to politely end the conversation, probably three or four times in total, but every attempt was ignored. Instead, he kept restarting his sales pitch, asking questions, and pressing for details even after we made it clear that we just wanted to look on our own. As someone with social anxiety, being unable to disengage despite repeated polite refusals was stressful. Sales is a customer-facing role, which requires listening to both what customers say and the tone they’re giving. We were clearly signaling discomfort and asking for space, but that was not respected. At that point, both my husband and I were so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the store entirely. It’s understandable that salespeople have a job to do, but pushiness to the point of making customers walk out is not good customer service.

I was really disappointed with this store. Out of all the furniture stores we visited, this one had the least friendly staff and the most pushy sales approach. It made the shopping experience uncomfortable and stressful. On top of that, the location isn't ideal, and the selection of sofas was underwhelming. Most of the sofas were significantly overpriced, especially when you compare the quality to what other stores offer. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for value or a relaxed shopping experience.

My experience was absolutely awesome. Ramon and Derek were very helpful and knowledgeable. Very pleasant and efficient. I will definitely refer others to this store.

Great end result but did feel pressured by sales staff to buy additional products.

Sales team is just really lacking at this store, both in professionalism and basic customer service. Please invest the time to train your sales staff appropriately on how to handle customers. We ultimately purchased at the north location after the disaster that was dealing with the Southpark Meadows store. I will be making future purchases at the north location.

I am extremely disappointed with Ashley Furniture and their warranty program. This is the second time I’ve tried to file a warranty claim, and once again I have received absolutely no response. On a previous occasion, my claim was actually marked as closed, yet no one ever came to inspect or fix the issue. It feels like their warranty is nothing more than an empty promise. The lack of communication and accountability is beyond frustrating. When you spend thousands of dollars on furniture, you expect the company to stand behind their products. Unfortunately, Ashley Furniture has failed me twice now. I would not recommend relying on their warranty program—it simply doesn’t deliver.

Ive been to Ashley stores in 3 different states and had the same experience each time. We came to buy and we were never approached by a sales associate. All the furniture looks the same. Cheap, not built to last, ugly, uncomfortable. Go else where if you can. But buyer beware! Other furniture stores by Ashley furniture and sell it at their store so be sure to ask where it came from.

I had such a great experience working with Nick at Ashley Furniture! He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Not only did he work out a fantastic deal, but he also exceeded my expectations in every way with his outstanding customer service. Nick took the time to understand exactly what I needed and went the extra mile to beat a competitor’s offer, which shows his dedication to his customers. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares and puts in that level of effort. If you’re shopping for furniture, I highly recommend asking for Nick — he will make sure you leave happy and confident with your purchase!

I had a great experience today shopping for my new sofa and loveseat! Both Fernando and Horace were very patient and pleasant to help me making my purchase!

Ashley's associate, Baraa, was professional and helpful. I was not looking to buy anything that day, but instead wanted to see the discounts I may be able to get over Labor Day. I was looking for a fullsize bed for a guest bedroom. Baraa showed me a bed I had seen online. Having told her I wanted to think about it for a day or two, and maybe buy it online if the discounts were good, she offered a good deal that closely matched the current online price, but also included a furniture protection plan. I don't usually buy the protection plans, but her offer made it a no-brainer, more or less.

This is how it started: Great experience with our sales person Ryan L. Took us right to the style and options we were looking for. Super friendly and helpful all the way around. Got a great mid century media cabinet and matching bookshelf. Would go back again. This is how its going: Well sucks that I have to recant all the nice things I said based on the handling of the main piece of furniture we went there to buy. I ordered a media cabinet it was backordered which was fine I was notified before the first delivery was scheduled and we rescheduled. On the reschedule the cabinet had arrived damaged to their warehouse again fine but I found out from the delivery driver as they delivered my bookshelf. Which again would have been fine if someone had let me know the day before and I didn't spend my whole morning disassembling my current media center and electronics. I had to call to find out what was happening and the call center employees were uninformed on anything regarding the damage issue. I was annoyed but let it go. Scheduled what should have been final delivery and they delivered the wrong cabinet. My husband thought it looked odd but at this point it had been 6wks and it was one we had looked at. I had to go through two sets of customer service to get them to believe that the wrong thing was delivered even though their own drivers took a photo and emailed it through their system. I emailed my original sales person looking for some sort of help or empathy and got zero response. They picked up the cabinet the next day but no one had information on the one I paid for. My husband was so annoyed at this point we called to cancel our order on Saturday. I was told it would take up to 72hr to put the request in and 7-10 days for the refund to actually hit my account. Again fine I waited 72 business hours and heard nothing. Had to call this morning to get my refund confirmation. That final human was at minimum trying to be helpful though her internal system wasn't making it easy. I've waited a long time for furniture before I'm okay with back orders. I work in this kind of industry, but when you can't do the least and communicate with a customer I don't know what to say. Would I have been bummed that the order was taking longer than expected of course but I would have waited. And honestly the sale could have been saved if at any point it felt like someone took any kind of accountability. Customers are still important after you make the sale.

Not as many living room options as I thought

Kyle Wise greeted me at the door, he was very nice and showed me exactly where to look for the type of furniture I needed. I told him about the color of wood, examples from online, he showed the pieces to me to help imagine what they would be, even down to the measurements. He was very knowledgeable about every piece in the store and was very patient helping me. I'm going back this weekend to order more!

The delivery department is a complete nightmare, A person named Michael called me on September 3 to verify my delivery address And stated my order would be Delivered for September 5. Now they’re saying my order was never scheduled for delivery and scheduled me 2 weeks out. Completely unprofessional, poor customer service, lacks communication.

Shopping at the Ashley Home Store at South Park Meadows, was a breeze. I went in not sure what exactly I was looking for but with the help of Josh Holley and Shawn Rushing, I found exactly what I wanted and afford. These Sales Specialists were so knowledgeable, cooperative and helpful. I left feeling so happy and excited. I highly recommend Ashley Home Store at South Park Meadows. I was reluctant to make this review, however given my recent shopping experience I figure that it would be constructive for the employees of this establishment need to hold themselves accountable. I think Ashley has if not some of the most overbearing and intimidating salespeople I have ever encountered. Trying to get me on the first couch is wild, I mean I get it you can try? What is so hard to grasp that you have a 10,000 sqft building and someone wants to want through it with just their friend. If someone asks you to give them space and they’d let you know when they were ready, you would think they would leave you alone and let you come to them. No no no, that’s not how it works at the Ashley in Southpark Meadows. They probably checked up on me over 10 times it’s ridiculous. They also were pushing hard to for the pre qualification, which fine whatever, but when you’re intercepted by another associate Nick I think was his name, tempurpedic labcoat and is the finance manager. Fine whatever I let them do their pitch. But when you tell someone you’re perfectly fine with your mattress and you don’t want/need one. Gives them all the more reason to just push it on you three more times. Which I’ll give it to him he was well spoken, but I’m not easy. It’s pretty pitiful when two salesman, break down on you saying it’s a slow week and I’m going to be the only sale I get, so they try and throw me some crazy kinda deal, slapping on all the added costs, warranty, white glove delivery. I didn’t ask for that, I didn’t ask for yall to write this one time only deal. From the get go yall were trying to get me for this one couch, maybe getting two people up on another piece of furniture would have worked. Albeit I would have bought 4 things if these people did not make me so uncomfortable and stressed out. I did really like a lot of their furniture, really comfortable, the fabrics were nice and overall great quality for most of the prices. My friend described these people pretty well, vultures. I couldn’t agree more!

Worst experience ever in a furniture store (Southpark Meadows). My wife and I just started looking for furniture for our new home, which we are closing on next month. We even made it clear to them that we were only beginning our search and not ready to buy today. Instead of helping us explore options, they immediately tried to push a mattress on us before even showing other furniture. On top of that, the salespeople kept pressuring us to buy right away, saying that the price would change after this week. Then a manager came over with an attitude, was clearly rude, and didn’t seem happy to help us at all. The salesman himself was good, but the way things were handled overall ruined the experience. When they realized we weren’t making a purchase today, both the manager and the salesman just left us without any courtesy or professionalism. We’ve been to several other furniture stores, and none treated us this poorly—this was the only place where we had such a bad experience. Honestly, they deserve 0 stars if that were possible. The store does have a good collection of furniture, but unfortunately not the right people to deal with customers. We will not be returning and certainly won’t recommend this place to anyone.

Not just selling furniture but what will my life need (like a sofa that the dog can’t scratch or puncture, or the bedding covers for spills for children one day). Ashley has great stuff the only thing is the delivery service. Neither side knows what the other is doing, we canceled our order but kept calling us for the delivery. If you're not in a hurry to get it I then I think you'll be fine.

Sales rep Will was excellent in his sales skills as well as his customer service. unfortunately I got a better price at a different store but also bad reviews. Will was very transparent in your store policy and left me feeling insecure since he stated once it's in your home and you sign off you own it. That didn't sit well with me especially after reviews. I called to cancel the order and requested of your store manager Horace to please process the refund. When I followed up to check if the order had been canceled it had not been and was actually scheduled for delivery. This proved the bad reviews as some similar experiences were shared.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. Went to the store in person, bought a bed everything cool. I get my delivery date for FRIDAY, nobody showed up. Saturday morning I get a call telling me they’re on their way, nobody showed up! It wasn’t until MONDAY the delivery people showed up not just that, one of the guys comes with HIS KIDS. I paid the assembly fee and while that was going on I had 2 children running around my house! When I don’t even have kids. Totally freaking ridiculous.!

Great experience here! Came in with four children in tow and the staff was so welcoming. Lena was the salesperson working with us and she was very helpful, kind and not pushy! Love that they have a kids play area in the back of the store so my kids thought the experience was fun! They have a great selection and fair pricing.

Avoid Ashley Furniture. hands down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I was supposed to have the couch I ordered delivered 8/8. I find get a text saying it was delivered. it wasn’t. but because I was expecting a new couch to be delivered, I got rid of my old couch because they do t hep with removal. but also now I don’t have a couch. I called the customer service, they say there’s no notes on why the order was postponed, and they’d call me. they didn’t. I go up to the store to get answers 6 hours after calling CS and get told they do t know. both time I’m told my couch will be delivered 8/9/25. but they’ve opened investigation tickets. I go on my way cuz they say they are going to call me. they don’t. I then get a text telling me to reschedule for later next week. mind you I currently don’t have a couch! the old one is gone. so I get into a text thread with CS and im still not sure if the person wasn’t a robot. no empathy. I didn’t make the mistake that left me without a couch. scratch that, the mistake I made was going with Ashley in the first place. I then try calling CS again after the thread ends and no answer. I go back up to the store and they give me a different number. I call it the next day 8/9 because it was after their call hours when I got the number. the lady I spoke with, great, real sweet. tried to help me. got the delivery date moved up by 24 hours but I’m still without a couch for 3ish days. they REFUSE to compensate me for the further inconvenience. I spoke to a supervisor who rose his voice to me, and faked empathy to get me off the phone. he said I wasn’t to be given additional compensation unless there was further delay. I told him that the original refund I was given was for the delivery that was supposed to be made today, and now it won’t be till later in the week so by that logic I have experienced further delay. he still refused. AVOID doing business with Ashley. they WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF YOU!! Ifor the amount of money I spent, I expect way better service than confusing communications, lack of communication, and rude communication. I did what I was supposed to as a customer, and now I don’t have a couch

Crap furniture. Bought a sleeper sofa and not even 2 weeks after delivery, something underneath breaks and the middle now sinks in. Contacted claims dept didn't get a response for almost a week. Tried again and finally got a hold of someone. Followed the instructions they gave me...nothing. contacted the person that I talked to for the claim and this time she did it herself, again nothing. I will never recommend this place to anyone amd never buy from here again.

I love My chairs and an excellent value, due to price match. My sales person was fine although she gave me some wrong information about NOT needing to be present for delivery, Although I DID need to be present. My one major complaint is that you have no provision for viewing the product at home or return, Short of damage. It can be hard to visualize a white chair in an otherwise brown and blue environment. I was willing to pay for the chair and bring it home and return it within 24 hours, or even within two hours. But there was no option for that. I can’t see me ever making a major purchase with you because of This kind of inflexibility.

I worked with Baraa. After entering the store, right off the bat, Baraa greeted us warmly and got right to helping us out. She was so patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’ve shopped at Ashley before and never had a problem. This latest incident has changed my mind due to the several mishaps that happened with delivery. I had to call 5 times to get the delivery address correct. For reference, I was purchasing furniture for my grandma. Her home and belongings were lost in the recent floods in San Antonio, so while my address is in Austin, hers is in San Antonio and I made this abundantly clear from the start, before even signing a contract. It took about 45mins to close the contract at the store due to the different address, which for a nationwide chain like Ashley’s, I didn’t understand the discrepancy but went along because my grandma needed furniture. A day or so later, the chatbot sent a text and of course it showed the wrong delivery details. I called the store and was connected with someone who seemed rather annoyed to have to be dealing with this. After quite a bit of back and forth, I got the email confirmation with the correct address. Then I get another chatbot delivery confirmation, still with the wrong address. I had to call again, this went back and forth and then my delivery got canceled and rescheduled to a different date, causing even more delays is a very desperate situation to get my grandma moved. So then I get another chatbot delivery and finally the right delivery address is listed. I confirmed and was set to be the 1st stop in the morning. I woke my elderly grandmother up at 5am so we could drive down to SA and be there in time for this delivery so I can start moving her, and saw on the tracker that the truck was driving to Austin with her things instead of SA. I called immediately when I saw this on the tracker and was told this was an error, they had the wrong address. They said it would be delivered by 6pm or earlier once they were done with Austin deliveries so I agreed to wait since I was already in SA. I called again in the afternoon because we were still waiting around and hadn’t heard anything. To wrap this up, the truck driver didn’t get there until 8:45 PM. Before we left, I also noticed damages on the nightstand. All that and it’s still not right. This has all been such a frustrating and difficult process for us. It really shouldn’t be that big of a process to have a different mailing address than billing, but here we are.

Me and a friend went in just to look around so that we knew what to order online but the workers were being very pushy. Made the whole experience very uncomfortable when they’re trying to get us to buy something that second. Not to mention on the way out one of the girls in a lab coat was being very rude and extra pushy when we said we were probably gonna order online saying stuff like “why would you do that” “why not just buy right now” “okay so you don’t like customer service”, then rolled her eyes and said “okay have a good day then” and walked off to smoke outside. Not good experience wouldn't recommend

I am very disappointed with the delivery process. I was provided with a delivery ETA of 3:15-6:15 pm. The driver did not arrive until 9:25 pm. On top of that, a part was missing and the bed frame was not able to be fully assembled. One of the drivers by the name of Jordan, provided his cell number and said he would return with the part the following day (Sunday) between 12-1 pm. Around noon we called to check his ETA and he said now he would arrive between 3-4 pm. He ended up not showing up until the following day (Monday). And upon his arrival, he brought his kids with him to finish the assembly. They were running around the house and making a mess. Mind you, we were still in the process of moving things from our previous place and this whole situation delayed us. This was the worst experience. Never buying from Ashley's Furniture again. The bedframe is beautiful but it was not worth the hassle and inconvenience.

Well, I won’t be back like I said I would. I don’t mind being greeted when I walk in a store but when I can’t even take 10 steps without the sales pitch starting it’s annoying. Also, being overly enthusiastic and complementary is unnecessary. Our interaction with the sales person today was ok until they knew I was probably going to wait to get my husband’s input before I make a purchase. When I said I was going to wait for him I was told sometimes I just need to decide and that if he doesn’t like it I can exchange; then when I said I’d bring him in the sales person’s entire countenance changed. It actually ended up making myself and my daughter feel uncomfortable. That tells me everything is an act… I was also told to make sure and ask for them bc someone else said that and didn’t . That’s not going to cause me to want to follow through, that gives me the ick. Then when we went outside they came outside to say goodbye and to remind us to look for a text. I might have bought a couch but this whole experience turned me off. PLUS, I was told the sale ends today. It doesn’t say that online, so is that true, or just another sales tactic.

My husband and I were just looking around for bed frames just to see what they had and we told the employee Kyle we were just going to look around. 5 minutes past the manager came up to us with attitude. Asking if we were going to buy today saying that they take their job serious.That why did we go there specifically if theres other furniture stores around. Other words if we were not going to buy to leave the store. That’s cool so if you’re in South Park Meadows area I would definitely recommend somewhere else.

It's a warranty scam. I've tried twice to ask for help, but they don't. They send you to talk to Expend, and Expend can't solve the problem. Expend sends you to a website to talk to a robot, but it doesn't solve the problem. In the end, I end up cleaning my sofa myself every time I need to.

It was horrible just even walking into this store. There were five salespeople waiting like vultures about ten feet in front of the door. I didn’t take but 5 steps into the store and someone was barraging me with sales jargon. After he couldn’t hook us, he called over another guy who started talking about beds when we were looking for a sofa and wanted us to go look at mattresses!!! I was there with my two sons and I just wanted to sit on the sofas with them and try out what we might like. Instead, I got two other dudes on us like I had a third and fourth son. Maybe I had a sign on my head that said “brain dead”. It’s sad really. There’s really no need to be followed around by salespeople when you are clearly trying to walk away from them and you feel harassed. Update Sunday, Father’s Day. I tried texting the number the owner gave me to contact and the chat was terminated.

Unfortunately, I encountered two sales representatives who were unfriendly, unhelpful, and displayed a lack of interest in addressing my questions. Moreover, they attempted to overcharge me for the furniture. However, after speaking with a manager, the situation improved significantly. The manager was knowledgeable, courteous, and provided excellent service, which ultimately led to a successful purchase of $8,100 worth of furniture. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and consider providing additional training to your sales staff to ensure that customers receive the level of service they expect and deserve.

The tall curly-haired salesman was so incredibly rude. First of all, he tried to sell me something that was online for $180 for $500. When I told him this, he then said the cheapest he could do was $280. So when I said I needed a second to think about it, and I apologized for wasting his time, he rolled his eyes and stood up and walked away without saying a word. Then I got on the Ashley Website right there on my phone and doubled-checked, and sure enough I can get that same piece for $197 if I was just to order myself. What the heck dude. I recently bought a 4-bedroom home, and as I continue to furnish it, I will probably go elsewhere.

I recently visited this store for the first time while shopping for a couch, and my experience was mixed. I was impressed with Kyle, who provided excellent assistance and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. However, I found the manager, Franco, to be overly pushy, which made me feel that his priority was closing a sale rather than understanding my needs. While the rest of the staff seemed attentive and responsive, this was not my experience with Franco. Ultimately, this influenced my decision to purchase a couch from Rooms To Go instead. If you visit this store, I highly recommend seeking out Kyle for his exceptional customer service.

I had a terrible experience buying a couch from this store over Memorial Day weekend. First, the salesperson Kyle tried to force me into buying a protection plan by saying the discounts only applied if I bought it. I had to show him lower prices from the Ashley website and others just to get a fair deal. Then I was told I could delay delivery until after my move — but no one mentioned it would take weeks. So I offered to just pick it up myself. Only the day before, I got a text saying the pickup location was in New Braunfels, which is way too far from me. When I called the store, the manager admitted this was unacceptable and waived the delivery fee, promising I’d have the couch delivered by Tuesday or Wednesday (June 3–4). Then it got worse: when I called to confirm delivery, I was told I never paid, even though I paid in full with my credit card on Memorial Day. Now they’re claiming I was refunded for the couch — which I never asked for and never received. So now I’m left with no couch, no refund, and a complete runaround from this store. This has been a nightmare of false information, shady tactics, and zero accountability. I’ve wasted time, energy, and trust — and I still have nothing to show for it. Avoid this place at all costs.

My sales associate, John Walter, from the Southpark Meadows in Austin, TX went above and beyond to help me with ordering a sectional sofa. My son moved to Austin yesterday, and John was so helpful in coordinating the order and delivery for me (from NY)!

Ashley Homestore had a great selection and solid quality pieces! I was tagging along with friends and fell in love with a bedroom set I wasn’t in the market for. Derek greeted us on his feet as soon as we walked in. The quickest thing to kill my shopping experience is a SALES person, but Derek did a great job of lingering at a distance. He was always close by but not pushy or intrusive. We left the store buying nothing but when I called later that day to complete my purchase, Derek remembered me and exactly what I wanted. My friends and I went back the next day to check a couch again, and Derek, again greeted us on his feet, and offered great customer service. I haven’t received my pieces yet, but my experience with Derek was worth a review.

Go the other route to rooms to go 😃 placed a delivery order with them and had the run around as to when I would actually get my delivery. Ended up canceling the order and went right down to the competitor

Went in today and was greeted by Nick Munoz. Very nice and let us look around and helped us when we had questions. We didn’t go in today intended to buy a new sofa and loveseat today but Nick worked with us and was so accommodating that we now have a delivery scheduled for Saturday. Would have no hesitations ever buying from Ashley Furniture again! Customer service cannot be beat!!!

We got a motorized sectional that has stain resistant fabric and seats six people and a beautiful hard wood table that expands out to seat 10 people with 6 chairs for $5600!! Unheard of!!! Poor experience today while browsing. The pressure they put on you, followed by downright condescension and rudeness is unacceptable. We stopped in today to look around as we are in the market for a mattress and new furniture after a move. We are greeted at the door, let them know we are just looking around today and move along. Next, the manager finds us and introduces himself and we politely make small talk and then let him know we are just browsing and not looking for anything particular. We then get to the mattresses and not two minutes later, another person comes over and welcomes us to “his kingdom”, the mattress section. It’s pretty clear he was sent over by the manager, but that’s besides the point. I know he is a salesman, and he is going to give us a spiel which is fine, so I let him go ahead. After his pitch, I politely ask if it’s alright if we take a look around, and that we will let him know if we have any questions. He says “huh?” as if I am speaking another language, so I repeat myself and at this point he says in a condescending tone “so you guys are mattress experts?” I’m sorry, but do I need to be an “expert” to know if a bed that I am laying on is comfortable or not? Despite repeatedly indicating that you are just browsing and not looking for help, they will follow you around the store trying to pressure you into buying from them. I certainly didn’t feel inclined to buy anything from this store due to the fact that they can’t respect such a basic request. How can I trust that the requests I make about buying $1000s of dollars of furniture would be respected? Saved myself the trouble and walked next door to the other furniture place where I was given the space I requested.

Ashley has a huge selection of kitchen, chairs and dining. We were able to find the chairs that I needed to go with the table that I already had, and I picked up on a couple awesome pictures and the photos as well. My salesperson Will, was awesome in assisting.

My most crappy experience in this ashley furniture store. The sales guy was so pressuring. We had to say sorry to him for asking for prices of the furniture. When the deal was not coming in our budget and we wanted to leave, he just said please don’t come to this store. This just wow. I would advise you to avoid this store and check either cedar park or Pflugerville store.

Have not had the furniture Delivered as of yet. the delivery experience as been awful. I was assured I would receive texts for confirmation. But i keep getting emails that I don't see till to late( I'm out of the country for work) and I'm about to cancel this entire purchase. UPDATE; This issue is because our sales rep entered my phone # incorrectly. We noticed at the store & was assured it would be updated correctly. It wasn't. After 2 missed deliveries I called & was told the # would be updated.....it wasn't again. Now, I just got off the phone & # updated once again I hope. LOL How hard is it to update a customers profile with the correct phone #? Ashley, contact your IT dept plz. All associates have been gracious. But the end result is I'm still waiting for a delivery for another 3 days. If I worked from home I guess this wouldn't be an issue:) also thank you for the reply.

Marc DeJesus was extremely helpful in having us select a couch. He listened to what we wanted, and found it pretty quickly as opposed to trying to sell us on something we didn’t want. He also helped us pick the payment plan that offered the greatest savings. If I needed additional furniture, I would return to Marc.

I had a great experience selecting & buying a nice leather power recliner at Ashley Southpark Meadows last week. The friendly salesman, Kyle Vigue, met me shortly after I entered, & I told him what I was looking for. He was able to take me directly to the options scattered on the showroom floor, including bouncing back & forth to compare chairs. It was a nice laidback experience with NO sales pressure from Kyle. He helped me negotiate the price for add-ons to get the best deal for me. He thoroughly explained the purchase, delivery & warranty I purchased and I walked out happy (instead of stressed like I often do at some other high pressure furniture stores). My chair was delivered <week later, unpacked & fully assembled by the delivery men (worth the extra $20). I’m very happy with my new, beautiful recliner & will return to Ashley SP Meadows for future furniture purchases!

Working with customer service was a nightmare. My shipment was set for delivery twice and delayed each time. I was promised VIP service. Crickets from everyone but Derek. I will never shop at Ashley again. I have tried to text and call the number the owner response gave me. It is a totally automated number and you cannot speak to a real person. AGAIN no response from the store. I am so upset and frustrated at the lack of communication. Do not shop at this store

Great delivery job, and I love my recliner chair but it makes a noise when it rocks. They offered new part said noise means base is broken. When it comes in I'm to call to schedule someone to come out. If they can't fix it, they will replace. I love my couch. Not sure why, but Ashley only comments on great reviews... better to grow by addressing all.

When I went to Ashley and worked with Kyle he took his time to show me different sofas and went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Two deliveries later, and we're still waiting on Ashley Store in Austin Texas to get the right material that will bolt up to the frame, elevation kit. TWO separate crews on two separate trips and still no resolution. Called the store three times asking to speak to a manager, left my contact information and still haven't received a call back from this location..

I’ve shopped for my entire living room and dining room set from here. However, tonight, we went to get a dresser for our nursery and were greeted with the worst attitudes. The store manager agreed to speak with us and then went and hid in a room, only to send the salesperson out saying he can’t speak with us. Beyond disappointed in their lack of customer service and poor attitude. Additionally and more importantly, they were scamming us with prices. The price in store was marked up $200 for the dresser we wanted. We then saw it for $200 cheaper online. Before noticing this, the store manager was marking it down $200 as if he was giving us a deal. He was using the online price as it was marked up in store for the exact same item. On top of this, they wanted to charge us $170 for delivery and assembly, when online, it’s only $100. They quoted us a higher price for the dresser without delivery, if we were to go pick it up from New Braunfels ourselves. When online, you can get it cheaper and have it delivered to your doorstep for less than the cost we were quoted. When I pointed this out, the salesperson was speechless and the store manager refused to even acknowledge us. I’ve spent thousands at this store; however, after this experience, we will not be purchasing our nursery furniture from here and I’d caution others to stay away until they fix their practices and attitudes. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Ashley Furniture is the worst company.I bought an entertainment center from them. When it was delivered the back of the piece was cracked. I told the delivery guy to take it back and bring me a new one. He insisted that it would take 3 weeks to get another one and I needed it quickly so I reluctantly signed for it . The delivery driver said that he would personally come and replace the back panel. Which he lied cause he did not show up. When i called the company to complain all they wanted to do was give me half of the delivery fee which I feel was not fair. I will never buy from this company again.

My experience there was great except for the beginning, when my daughter had walked in before us, and was approached by an associate asking if she needed help and she said she needed to use the restroom and the person was like are you even going to buy anything In a rude way my daughter the said my mom is coming in and continue to walk to the back to the restroom luckily I didn’t get approached by him but the person who did help Shawn was awesome

Kyle was very patient with us! We originally went to look at couches but ended up getting patio furniture instead! We were being a bit difficult and undecided but he was patient with us over the two days deciding on what we wanted more. Definitely would recommend and talking to Kyle he was a great help in answering all our decisions!

Josh was so incredibly helpful and funny! He has a great experience and will be back to see Josh for whatever else we need in the future.

We are SO happy with our experience at Ashley SP Meadows! Isaac took such great care of us! He really listened to what we were looking for and helped us pick out the perfect piece. Because of Isaac’s expertise, we spent more money than we had planned, but we happy to do it because we had been shopping for weeks from store to store and were so frustrated. My husband and I shopped here recently for a new living room set. We were impressed by the large selection and quality furniture at an affordable price. Even better was our sales rep, who was not pushy at all, but listened to us and offered us options we had not thought about. I would like to extend a personal thank you to our salesman, I didn’t catch his name during our brief interaction but he was wearing what appeared to be a long white lab coat of sorts. So he should be fairly easy to spot (and stay away from)! After explaining that we just wanted to browse around and would let him know if we needed anything, he proceeds to poke and prod for what I’m in the market for and that “we don’t need to to the whole look around and let me know thing.” After insisting twice that we just wanted to look around his response both times was “that’s fine we can look around together”. I’m sorry, I forgot I needed your permission to test drive this sofa sir? Well, if it wasn’t for the extremely unprofessional salesman I wouldn’t have ended up down the road at the amazing “at Home” Home goods supply store where we found a lovely dining table set that we just had to have. Didn’t know it even existed until we saw it.. not to mention the new bed set we got with it. Thank you Ashley furniture home store! If it were for you I would have never discovered the awesomeness that is “at Home”!

We had such a great time at the Ashley Furniture store in Southpark Meadows last night. We originally just stopped in to browse, but Joshua and the store manager made us feel so comfortable that we ended up staying for a couple of hours. Joshua was new (it was his first day!), but he was so chill and helpful, and we never felt pressured at all. The store manager (whose name I unfortunately forgot) was equally great. They worked with us on the price and we ended up buying our dream couch! We can't wait for it to be delivered. Highly recommend this location!

The absolute best day ever. Shawn one the sales floor personnel was so eager to sale the rug. I only had a certain budget to spend and one of his managers came over, heard what I was going through and he matched what I was willing to pay with the warranty included. We bought a dresser/ mirror set and a bed set from Ashley’s last summer. A woman named Addy sold it to us, she seemed to be having a bad day so we didn’t mind brightening her day with a sale. Addy sold us on the early buyout (90 days) So we decided to finance thinking it would be an easy credit boost. Ashley in house finances through Acima, yet no rep was ever in store the many times that we came. Long story short we paid the buyout within 90 days but Acima never applied even HALF of it to the principle. I think they are crooks. For 4 months we could not get in contact with anyone from Acima except for one time after the buyout time frame had passed, and what they told us was that Acima doesn’t even put the full buyout amount on your online account. You have to call and ask for the amount WITH fees. As if you’d know… I think Ashley and Acima have a crooked way of doing business and it’s very dishonorable.

Jacob was really knowledge about leather sofas and how to properly care for them to keep them looking their best for years to come. The Lombardia style was the one I wanted but was going to purchase later next month in outright cash. Jacob helped with not only locating the leather sofa to see if they had it in stock, he found it for a lower price than what was on the website and asked if I decided to purchase it today, they would gift me the extended product protection. Long story short, I ended up purchasing the sofa today and I'll be getting it delivered at the end of next week. Thank you to both Jacob and Ryan for your kindness and listening to my needs and what I was looking for.

South Park Meadows and team are great. The Ashley distribution center in Albuquerque completely screwed us. Purchased the sofa before Tday based on the delivery date. Distribution center confirmed delivery date 5 days prior to delivery. One day before delivery Ashley cancelled our delivery with no communication. This was a time sensitive delivery. Spoke with many managers who agreed with the horrible customer service. Ashley doesn’t care. NEVER AGAIN ASHLEY.

I purchased a baby crib this past cyber Monday and as of today December 18th they have not been able to give me a delivery date that is all I have asked for, I talked to different representatives and all of them say the same thing “just wait for a email confirmation” I also requested to talk to a supervisor no one took my call or had a minute to call back. I had gone on sunday afternoon 12/15/24 at 5:30pm. When i had entered i was greeted by WILL (a slim tall white male, blonde, blue eyes, little to no hair), at first i felt welcomed by him and had said that i was looking around - he became pushy and passive aggressive. Making comments like “that’s what everybody tells me”. I took a gander around the store and upon leaving he came up to me and the passive aggressiveness continued. This time just being blatantly rude, as he said things like “you just came to waste my time” when i had just said i didn’t find anything today. to reiterate i had said in the beginning that i was just looking around.

Came in just looking to see what they had and was met by a sales guy who was nice, however walking around the store for a few minutes we decided it was time to go and as we were leaving another sales guy approached us and we told him we were just killing time and he replied “well this is a business” insinuating that we only needed to be there if we were ready to buy right now. We declined and tried to leave and he then tried to guilt trip us to buying a ornament for a kids charity and we politely declined and he just replied something along the lines of “yahhh who cares about the kids” or something trying to make us fell bad lol. I didn’t catch his name but but he was a stockier Hispanic guy. I’ve been in multiple Ashley furniture stores over the past week and they all are just sleezy feeling.

On Saturday, Dec 7 @ 12:15 pm, I had a very uncomfortable shopping experience at this location. I came ready to buy a couch but to also stay on budget. As soon as I walked , the sales person WILL (a slim tall white male, blonde, blue eyes with blue polo), approached me. From the get go he seemed knowledgeable and convincing as he should. The entire time it felt like stalked and pushed to buy. He came see me at least 6 or 7 times and it feel very intimidating . I said “I’ll come back later” since I wanted to go other places to find a better deal but he shut me down by saying that if I walk out of the store , he will not give me the “deal” (in question of 15 minutes he lowered the price by $400). I don’t like lowballing but he was really pressuring me. When I was planning my exit, he again appears out of nowhere to offer me $650 plus tax . In a way to get away from this person (and to kindly close the sale) I said : “I’d like the sofa for $650 including tax”. His whole demeanor changed (not smiling or friendly anymore) to tell me : "You are more than welcome to leave, HAVE A GOOD DAY”. He practically kicked me out of the store. so frantically I texted my son to tell him that I’ve been asked to leave. I need the STORE manager to put this sales person in his place. Sales reps should NOT use predatory sales strategies: WE ARE NOT A TARGET, NOR A $$ DOLLAR SIGN. My family and I are long time Ashely clients and we even hold the credit card. HOW can Ashely keep this sales reps on the floor treating client with zero respect & compassion? I don't want to step foot ever again, sadly.

I didn't find this at Ashley unfortunately but, I did find an unexpected king chair and sofa. I told Shawn and Will (who Shawn called for back up on that walkie talkie thing. I know how this works) that i'd be back. Of course statistics say that when a customer leaves they don't come back. I get it. It was awkward. I left to go to another store and find recliner. I did. I called Will and said could you send me a pic of the sofa i like I want to see if it works well with the recliner I found. PIc attached. That is a salesperson. Have fun, be fun, don’t pressure. I ran back to Ashley, placed my order. It was quick and painless. I would definitely refer Ashley at Southpark Meadows and Shawn and Will. I know what kind of customer I am. Not easy. They let me be me and they made me laugh. Well done! Sold. And somehow I bought a bed frame and two night stands that I wasn’t shopping for. Nice work Shawn.

I bought a $1000 sofa sleeper that arrived a week late, and then it had a tear in it. $300 Lamp was supposed to arrive the same day but arrived with no notification- sat outside my home for the taking for who knows how long, and the box looked like it had been mauled by a bear. They blame the warehouse, they blamed the truck breaking down. Blah blah blah. If I had it to do over I would NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS STORE.

I came into the store today 11/22/24 at 4:10pm to look around just to see what they had in store when I was greeted by sale rep guy (Mexican middle age man with short hair), I told him that I was looking around. He told me how he was commission based. Which I understood so I didn’t want to waste his time by thinking we were going to buy something today. I told him multiple times that we were just looking. He said he has to give us a tour. He took me to the mattress, after mentioning we were just looking around and he made me feel really uncomfortable and making me not wanting to come back to the store. He was trying to force a sale on me. Then he decided to tell me “you came into waste my time so I am going to waste your time, and you can go now and look around.” Customer service was TERRIBLE! I don’t recommend this store at all. Even though I told him in the beginning I am here just to look around that was unprofessional behavior.

I wish I could write a great review but we had such a bad experience at Ashely. It first started with sales lady named Jada, she walked us around and gave us prices at first everything was great, then she asked us to wait for a bit & she went to assist another client… at first I didn’t think too much of it until she did it again. Not only that but when we were ready to check out it took her almost 45 mins to be able to place the first order. She walked around and seemed like she was looking for someone & then went to ask for help. Even the people around her saw her struggling but wouldn’t help much except for a gentleman man who helped her get some authorization, she then got it and proceeded to still take so long to process the paperwork. I had to leave because I had a meeting & she said that when I came back she’d have everything ready… well i come back & nothing was ready for me to sign. I waited about 45 mins again. She told us that our dinning room was going to be wrapped with plastic by the time we came to pick it up. It wasn’t, the approach they had towards us was so unprofessional. They handed out the wrapping paper and said we had to do it ourselves in front of the people shopping (we got a model dinning table but still paying for it so I don't understand why they couldn’t help) if I could rate the service a 0 I would, which is sad because my parents have bought a lot of furniture from Ashley and they’ve always given them great service.

I had a great experience at Ashley furniture today . The sale person by the name of Frankco. Help me today and I said what type of furniture I wanted and he listened to gave great feedback to all my questions and great customer service.

SCAM! Do not shop here. I have been dealing with my order for over an entire month and have had to take time off work several times to confront sales associates at the store, just to be assured they are fixing all the issues they have caused just to find out new problems the next day. Like I said this has been over a month dealing with this and i have had to go in every week sometimes several. The sales associate who helped me put two orders in for my one order. Meaning I am currently being charged for 4 couches, two dinning tables and two area rugs. I have called every number and spoke with management on every level in the store and they promise all these resolutions that get no where. We currently have the first set of furniture that the store says we shouldn’t have and are scheduling to pick up. Then pick up gets here and drivers are always rude and say they have no information on picking up the furniture then just leave. As someone who works in sale management I believe no level of management at this store has any level of experience. This has been an awful experience and keep in mind they have offered us free pillows during all this. Pillows. As if we’re not being charged over $1000 extra now, and they still have yet to resolve that. These are just parts of the experience and no way I can type of the whole horror story of an experience this is. Shop anywhere else.

I fell in love with a couch and paid in full on-site. The staff was struggling because their new iPads were giving them a hard time. None of them were connected to the printer and the iPads didn’t transfer any signatures so the signing process took almost 20 minutes. The sales person, while she was very sweet, typed my email into the form incorrectly twice. So the floor manager comes in to send me the invoice to my correct email. I leave expecting a call to schedule delivery two days later. I receive no call so I call the guest help center only to find out not only had the sales agent saved an incorrect email to the form (even after having corrected her spelling twice) she also saved my phone number incorrectly. So no one could get a hold of me, nor could they find my order. The guest help center tells me now they can’t schedule delivery until 7 days later - not okay because I’ve been told multiple times that the couch is just sitting ready at the warehouse. I then email the store manager, twice, and receive no replies when I ask for some sort of compensation for the trouble I experienced on their account. I politely ask the guest help center to escalate the issue and contact the warehouse and they do nothing but give me a work order number that never gets addressed. Finally I’m blessed to schedule delivery for 5 days later after having reached out multiple times. Now, the delivery drivers were fantastic, professional, and very sweet. But if you buy in-store, make sure you’re watching how they save your information. Because I received absolutely no compensation, no apologies, no accountability for the mess they made.

I've been waiting for a bedroom set, mattress table and table with 6 chairs for more than 2 months. Supposedly 24 September was the day to get it all. No such luck. Pre Covid I received better Service when I ordered a bedroom set. I am missing a rail for the bed I ordered and I haven't received a call back of when I will get the missing bed rail. Very Frustrating to pay almost 4k and get such bad service. It seems once money is paid, it doesn't matter how long you have to wait. UPDATE!!! I HAVE CALLED THE NUMBERS YOU PROVIDED. A SO CALL TICKET HAS BEEN MADE AFTER CALLING NUMEROUS TIMES. THAT TICKET NONSENSE IS ALL LIES. I WENT TO THE STORE AND THEY ALSO CUT A TICKET FOR THE MISSING RAIL. SO FAR NO RAIL, JUST "WE WILL CALL YOU BACK AS SOON AS WE KNOW SOMETHING" I HAVE WENT TO THE STORE MULTIPLE TIMES AND IS VERY CONVENIENT THAT THEY CANT REFUND MY MONEY. CORPORATE WILL MAIL A CHECK EVANTUALLY IF I PURSUE THAT ROUTE. IS B.S. THEY CAN TAKE YOUR MONEY IN A HEART BEAT AND NOT EVEN PROVIDE A FULL FUNCTIONING BED. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO HAVING A SALESMAN OR STORE MANAGER DOING THEIR JOB TO MAKE SURE THE CUSTOMER GETS TAKEN CARE OF AND NOT JUST RECEIVE A COMMISSION FOR PUSHING A SO CALLED BED WITH MISSING PARTS ON TO A CUSTOMER. STEER CLEAR OF ASHLEY FURNITURE. NO ONE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. AND IF THEY DO IT WILL BE 3 TO 4 MONTHS LATER. SHOULD HAVE GONE TO ROOMS TO GO.

Was window shopping today and stopped by to look around for. Met associate Will when I walked in I was just looking around. I said wasn’t planning on buying anything today and the associate goes “get out off the store and why did you come in to waste my time”.

Sales staff were wonderful. They let you know they were there for any questions but also gave you space to roam the store. Very polite and helpful. Purchasing was quick and easy. Didn’t wait long for paper work. Good experience and love the new sofas.

They sold us a bogus warranty with dining room table. We had table for 2 years. Rustic wood finish. The top is now bubbling in certain spots. We call warranty and they said we the problem. Ashley hustled is in this regard because they will always say the customer the problem. Ashley is not what it use to be. Rooms to go is looking better and better these days.

First time buying at Ashley’s and we had a great experience! Great customer service by Jacob at South Park Meadows! He did an amazing presentation from the moment we walked in. Greeted us with a smile the whole time. He was very attentive and continued checking on us the whole time, answering all our questions and made us feel just at home. Great sales man! The quality of the furniture was beautiful and can tell it is high quality, and to top it off they offered great deals for Labor Day. Definitely recommend Ashley’s furniture, we will definitely be back for our future furniture.

My experience was not fantastic! We came in walked around and salespeople walked right by us . I walked up front to see if anyone cared to help us. Finally we got a new salesperson named Isaac to say he would help. I already knew the item I wanted. I had a new Ashley credit card the had been purchased by another company and I was not aware. So I called while in store and was told to have retailer call and they would give them my account information. The salesperson and manager refused to call. Continued to tell me I had no account and I did. The salesperson Isaac kept going to wait on other customers and very short with me. Only telling me my account did not come up. I left the store very upset and my husband said let’s go try the North Pflugerville store. Thank goodness I did ! The salesperson Lisa took care of my issue in 4 minutes and ordered my items , in about 30 minutes we were out of the door. I would never recommend this SP Meadows store to anyone!! Horrible experience.!

Just bought a new house and was looking to buy new furniture. Had went to Rooms-to-Go first and found a really great couch but wanted to see what options they had at Ashley. When we went to Ashley we were looking for a light-colored couch that was not leather and could recline. A sales guy came up to us and we let him know what type of couch we were looking for and he had two options he wanted us to look at. The first one was nice but it was leather and the second one didn't have a reclining option. The sales guy then phoned his manager with what we had wanted but at this point he looked frustrated. We had did one circle around the store which had taken about 10 mins and at the front we were greeted with the manager a tall blond guy with black gages. The manager had told us that he didn't have anything in stock and jokingly told us "Well get out of here" and kick his foot at us to head towards the door. We where going to look for a dining room set and a cocktail table for the living room but after he told us that we just left and bought everything at Rooms-to-Go. I feel like a good sales man shouldn't get frustrated with not being able to find one thing you want but should offer if there is anything they could help you with.

The service was excellent and we had a man who said I was his first customer. He was really nice and helpful. There does seem to be a lot of paperwork to sign though.

Do not shop here! After two confirmed delivery dates, excuses of why items were not delivered, and no return call from the manager. I then asked for a refund. I purchased the furniture over a month ago and still have not received the furniture nor my money back. The store is very unorganized. The cooperate office cannot assist with solving the matter. It's always 7-10 more days to return my refund. Really bad customer service. I will never buy anything ever again from Ashley's Furniture!

The employees were very helpful and pleasant to work with. However, when we mentioned that we wanted to take a day to think over our decision, we were directed to leave through an exit door instead of the main entrance, citing a ‘system’ that monitors customers who leave without making a purchase. We were planning to return the next day and likely make the purchase, but being required to exit through a side door—and then told to use that door again if we came back—left us feeling unwelcome. This experience has made us reconsider returning to the store.

The furniture is ok, but the employees are terrible. My husband had his sunglasses stolen while we were looking at couches, and was basically told to stop coming in to look for them because it made their numbers look bad. I’m convinced an employee took them when my husband set them down to pick up our year old daughter we had with us. Unsure as to which employee, as several were pacing the store due to a lack of customers. $3,500-$4,500 on 2 couches and you couldn’t even check the cameras? Thanks for the stellar customer service.

My sells person was really nice and found me what I wanted I overall love our couch but I did pay an assembly fee and my couch was not fully assembled because they did not have 4 legs for one of the sides of the sectional. Our delivery guy said someone would come out and install them once they arrived. They arrived and never was I contacted for it to be installed and not only that but the couch did not have holes already so we had to form them with a drill. Very frustrating.

The furniture is of great quality and the people we interacted with were wonderful. The furniture took almost 3 months to come in, instead of the month that we were first told-but I hear that lots of furniture orders get delayed.

My fiance and I went in looking for a dining room table. We told the guy that greeted us we were looking for a dining room table and would let him know if we had any questions. He then proceeded to follow us around the store, try and sell us a mattress (even asking us for our current mattress brand), and even mentioned how he knows what we should want. It made for a very uncomfortable experience and we will not return.

I purchased furniture from this location and was promised it would be delivered in a week. The delivery was rescheduled 3 times but I was never notified the delivery would be rescheduled. On each delivery date the furniture didn’t arrive and I called my sales rep and he informed me the delivery would be delayed. He never informed me the delivery would be delayed on 3 occasions. Can you imagine waiting all day for a delivery and no one informing you it would be delayed, to later find out it’s not arriving. I requested a refund and was informed I’d have it in 3-5 business days. We’ve now exceed more than 5 business days and still haven’t received a refund. Abby, the Manager is very unprofessional and unethical. She claimed to have put in an escalation ticket and to have sent all these email to corporate and stated no one has gotten back to her. And told me there was nothing she could do to refund us our $2700 we paid for furniture we never received. I asked for the regional manager’s name and she said “she knows it but can’t give it out because they’re not customer facing”. She also stated she would not talk to the regional manager about our concern, which was confusing to us considering we’ve went outside of the normal processing time for a refund. To anyone looking for any furniture do not go to this store, the workers are unprofessional with no soft skills, your furniture will be delayed and they will not inform you. They will keep your money and put you through hell to receive a refund. Our $2700 is currently sitting as a credit on our Ashley account and no one has followed up with us on the status. This experience has been a nightmare. Do NOT buy furniture from here, ever!

I’ve been waiting two weeks since the promised delivery date for my couch and they keep rescheduling me. I’ve called every number and no one knows where my couches are they just keep giving me a further and further date. Why promise something if you can’t stay true to it. I couldn’t even get the couch I wanted because it was out of stock for a month and now it’s in but what’s the point if I have to wait another month??? Terrible costumer service 👎

Spoke to Adam today on 7/2/24 & was a little uneasy afterwards. He had no kind of customer service. I even asked to speak with the manager & he told me there wasn't one available. I asked when he'd be back & he repeated himself, "he's not here. He stepped out." I then asked if he knew when he'd been back in again, possibly another day, & he says, "well yeah... another day but maybe but not today." WHAT?! I'll just cancel my order here & purchase from somewhere else. Ugh

Josh was excellent at the store. Everyone at the store were great and they all made our experience there as if you were the only client present even though there were so many people browsing/shopping at the time. So were the delivery guys. The little kiddos present got so excited and yet they still managed to keep the little ones safe. The delivery guys took pictures as well so I’d rather you see the pictures they took because that’s how thorough they were.

I want to congratulate Catalina Gonzalez for Bern patient with us and for her great services that she rendered unto my wife and my self I highly commend her for her hard work even though the systems were down she was very positive in her finishing up the sale an d let us know that if we could come back the following day to finalize the process.. The furniture is great, customer service inside the store was good too… however we are not very pleased with how the 3rd party delivery service Ashley Furniture uses went. It ends there. Their customer service on the phone and online is terrible. The automated phone delivery service system is confusing and had us wait all day for the 1st delivery 📦 & they only arrived with bed rails and nothing else! (we ordered an entire king bedroom set), 2nd delivery everything else came except our bedroom chest, we waited almost a whole month til we got the last piece delivered. On that 3rd delivery, the delivery drivers made a dent in our brand new wall while going up the stairs (total eye sore to look at) in the brand new home we just purchased and they keep telling us “they will call you in 24 hrs”, 3 days passed and no one called. We called again & got the same stupid answer of “they will call u”. It has been a week and no one has called us about the claim for the damage they made. We’re pretty furious with this horrible experience overall

If I could do 0 stars, I would. Rep Connor ordered the wrong item after I was crystal clear in what I wanted. Must have said the color 10 times and showed a photo. Wrong color ottoman was ordered. Had to refuse on delivery, after seeing the color. Took 1 month to remedy the issue and the corrected item delivered still had a gash in it. I spent hours on hold or on the phone with customer service. Problem still being remedied. Got Altari couch in 2022 for $2K, it’s now $650, which is what it’s worth, as seat cushions are well-dented after 2 years of use by normal-sized female. Ottoman not worth the heartache and time for $185.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I bought $7000 (after their discounts for paying cash) of furniture from the location on I-35 in South Austin. Josh was my salesman (terrible customer service). The rocking recliner's left arm broke after sitting in it 3 times over two weeks. I had to file a claim. I sent in pictures and a video with a detailed explanation. They asked if I would accept $43 to keep it the way it is. I declined. Then they just texted "good bye" and that was it. I called the store and spoke to a manager named Abby that was INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. She should be fired after making sarcastic comments to a customer. She finally said she would set an appt for a technician to come out. I agreed, and then received a message from them cancelling the appointment a day before it. I called Abby again and she was again incredibly rude and unprofessional. I couldn't believe the tone she was taking with a customer. I told her she was very bad at her job. I am now filing a complaint with the BBB, Texas consumer complaints and sending all correspondence to a news consumer protection division. SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

0 stars. Atrocious customer service. We came in on a Friday night for a dresser and 2 nightstands. Paid in full and were told a delivery date. Had to go overseas for an emergency so all we wanted to do was change the primary contact number to my girlfriend. When we got to the store we were then informed our PAID for order was cancelled. We hadn’t received ANYTHING letting us know. If we didn’t go in in person would we have even known it was cancelled?? We were told it was the associates fault, she hadn’t taken 2 payment methods and that was the reason for the order being cancelled despite us having A SIGNED CONTRACT that we would receive it on 6/6. My girlfriend took a day off work for absolutely no reason. No offer of a discount or even an apology instead just incredibly rude staff. I’d give it negative stars if I could.

Was horribly disappointed, but we proceeded to buy anyway just because I was set on the bed I loved. However, was quoted a price for bed and mattress just to find that price quoted increased by 100%, of quoted price. We opted out of warranty, shipping to bring cost to more than we had budgeted to spend. Will never shop Ashley ever again

Outrageously offensive experience. After I get my review proofed by my lawyer, I’ll post it. I will never return to Ashley furniture. I visited today to give them a chance to address my complaint, but they referred me to their phone line. They have no staff to address issues. They are there to take in money and that is all they do. They take money. They sell. They outsource deliveries. They referred complaints offsite. $2400 to have my couch scraped across the dirty sidewalk outside. They had to borrow my tools to break it down and get it inside before fleeing and leaving trash on my doorstep because they ran away as fast as they could.

Isaac was so helpful and he gave us our space to look around and then when I found what I wanted, I went and got him and he was very polite. Very courtesy. He is awesome if I come back into buy anything, I’m gonna ask for Isaac. We bought a washer and dryer from him. Don’t have pictures.

Shawn Rushing was super patient! We made him show us ALL the options for sectionals. After a lot of back and forth we finally found the perfect fit for our family. This was our first time buying from a furniture store and definitely a good experience. We will definitely be coming back!
