Great selection with HIGH pressure sales techniques!! Staff will not let you shop without advising or ridiculing your selection. They want to lock you in on a loan! We left the store and purchased the same identical item on line from a wholesaler and saved 50%.
My order was placed under another customers account so my transaction had to be refunded. Since it took a while to clear my bank I had to double charge my card. I was promised I would receive credit refunded to my account as composition for the hassle which I am still trying to make happen with no luck.

It was the worst experience ever! Half of my items were missing, when I asked why they didn’t call to tell me they said oh we haven’t tried reaching out. I even rented a U-Haul to pick up all my items, they said it would be ready with in a week but now I have to wait another two weeks. This is ridiculous they only tell it will be ready soon to sale. Don’t buy here!

All of that below was BEFORE I discovered how deceptive their sales tactics are. It starts from the salesman Joel. He "promised" and "guaranteed" us the delivery date. He said our furniture pieces were "already in the warehouse". Lies. All of it, lies. I had 3 more calls rescheduling and more promises. Again, all lies. We ended up getting our $3,300 back. Deceptive sales tactics. Know before you go. Salesman, Joel, was nice but definitely NOT.

Worst Cutomer Service. I’ve been dealing with customer service for months now. They constantly put me on hold and often promise to call back but never do. When they finally responded, they sent repair equipment to my home, but it's been months and they still haven't scheduled a technician to fix the issue. It’s frustrating to spend thousands of dollars and purchased the insurance/warranty, only to go through such deal.

I've had a really bad experience with this location. My grandmother went to look at a new living room just to see how much they cost. Her sales person was Joel Rodriguez. My grandmother got home and she told us she bought a new living room set but told us a lot less than what was on her paperwork. After reviewing the paper they gave her it was in English and my grandmother cannot speak English. My grandmother trusted what the sales associate told her it was going to be. The total price was $560 more than what she was told. My grandmother was told the protection was $50 not $250. After reviewing the paperwork with her she decided she did not want the living room set. We called to have it cancelled as policy states at least 48 hours before delivery and spoke to Fernando who assured the order was cancelled. A couple days later, my grandmother was out of town, and Ashley Furniture delivered the furniture that was suppose to be cancelled. The neighbor was unaware of the situation of the furniture order being cancelled and signed on behalf of my grandmother. Ashley furniture's policy says once its delivered all sales are final so they intentionally did not cancel the order so they would not loose out on a sale. If I could rate this 0 stars I would!
My experience was absolutely wonderful Paola was very detail oriented and did not skip a beat!!! Super pleasant and a excellent positive attitude.
The salesman indicated that my COMPLETE order would be delivered at the end of the week; even made me initial this on my paperwork I guess as some form of agreement.. Corporate had other ideas. So you need answers? Well, you can’t call the store; you are trapped in an automated hell. I had to go back to the store to pick up my paperwork and find out why my order was coming incomplete. At the end, I got a “ we’re very sorry but there’s nothing we can do.” How about train your people better so the don’t make promises they can’t keep? Or how about adhering to the hours listed on the web for customer support? Disappointing to say the least. Let’s see how my order comes in.
Salesperson, Margarita, was very helpful and patient in helping us select furniture that best fit our needs and budget. She was very knowledgeable and exemplified excellent social skills. The atmosphere at Ashley Furniture was very nice, had plenty of time to make selections. I could not have asked for a better sales person. she made the shopping experience at Ashley, a 100% pleasurable experience. I give Ashley Furniture in Brownsville a 10 out of 10. They went above above and beyond in my opinion in the customer satisfaction department.
Our in store experience took more time than expected, but the associate worked to make sure we chose a furniture delivery date that not only worked for us, but ensured all our furniture would arrive together. Since our purchase, only a portion of our order had arrived and Ashley Furniture has rescheduled our furniture delivery FIVE times over the course of 2 months. Their automated systems and customer service associates have been no help in trying to ensure our items were confirmed for delivery, nor trying to expedite the process to make up for their lack of professionalism. We are completely dissatisfied with their services and completely disappointed by their lack of help and little commitment to ensure customer satisfaction. We will not be purchasing from them again.
Employees are very helpful and help you find what you need. However, I’ve been very disappointed with the delivery process of my order. I spent over $8k and am going on 2 weeks with delays of my orders and yet they can’t call me and tell me it’ll be delayed. They first told me I was going to get my couch on the Sat Sept 7. The day comes around and I wait and nothing is delivered yet they sent a confirmation of delivery. I called and they gave me the run around and moving my delivery to tomorrow Sept 14th. And now they tell me they won’t be able to delivery it until the 17th and then I call and they pushed me to the 19th and could possible last longer!!!! Pretty frustrated with their delivery. We sold our couches immediately because we thought we would have our new couch in a week and now we’re going in our 3rd week without couches.
Buyer Beware - All Sales are Final. We found a sofa and loveseat that we thought would work in our house. Sales person was very friendly, helpful and not pushy. Store manager said he would honor sale piece even though sale had ended. We went home, measured and placed the order electronically. It wasn’t mentioned that ALL SALES ARE FINAL during our discussions. Yes it was listed in page 3 of the sales order, but other name brand furniture stores we’ve purchased from all offered options if the furniture didn’t work out. We hate our new purchase but are now stuck with it. Lesson learned - read all the pages in the sales order, and understand the return policy before purchasing. No more Ashley Furniture purchases for us.

I highly don’t recommend this store. The after purchase service is horrible. First time that I walk inside the store they convince me to purchase my dining table, but after I purchase their product and the warranty they strongly advice to take; and when I complaint about the issues that I was having with the table I purchase they try take you leave when you go to the store and complaint. When I went to the store to complaint about the extended warranty they sold me they were just trying to make me leave instead of telling we why they didn’t told me all the policies the warranty came had. I’m very disappointed with Ashley’s store and I will never return. And rooms to go had much better products and after purchase treatment.

We’ve had a great experience consulting and working directly with Paola Lecona from the Brownsville site. She was able to advise and recommend what was best for us, she was very dedicated in her job and trying to get us the best deals possible. She was also working hand on hand with the companies to get us approve for the right amount. She was very professional, enthusiastic, and very attentive with everything we were looking for. Sales person Margarita Vento was very approachable, polite and paid close attention to all of the details of what I was wanting to accomplish. We sat down and talked as if she was a friend. My primary goal was to replace a damaged mattress but she was able to go beyond that request and I was able to get two mattresses plus a chest of drawers, which matches our existing furniture, all while constantly keeping my budget in mind.

I walked into Ashley’s looking for a dining table and their collections are beautiful. I called ahead to explore finance options, agent Fernando was very helpful and knowledgeable I was able to apply on my phone before walking into store. Agent made sure Labor Day weekend discounts were applied knocking down a good sum off my balance, I was very pleased with the discount. Overall experience was quick easy and staff are very helpful.

She was very knowledgeable, kind, listened to us and provided information so WE could make an informed decision on what WE wanted & needed. I bought a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture Brownsville in February and received it in April. In May, I found dust and a beetle in the dresser. I contacted Ashley, and they told me to file a complaint online and call pest control. The pest control report showed Powderpost beetles in the dresser. Ashley requested more photos and offered to replace the dresser. However, I am concerned about the potential infestation of my home and requested a letter of responsibility from Ashley. They stopped responding to my inquiries, so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Ashley contacted me last week, but their customer service was unhelpful. They offered to refund the shipping cost and send a new dresser without my permission. Today, a Spanish-speaking representative called me with the same offer. They cannot solve my inquiries and only offered to replace the dresser. I feel very disappointed at this time about my home. I feel Ashley damage my Trust.

If I could leave zero starz I would this place conned me out of a mattress you can’t trust anything they say I have to pay for a mattress that I didn’t even order they sent me the updated version 3 weeks later and it was not the same the sales manager (Jaime Alvarez ) who sold me the mattress assured me if the mattress was not to my liking they would get me the original I asked for the original mattress they don’t have them anymore they couldn’t give me the mattress I ordered I’ve gone on three separate occasions to speak to a supervisor apparently they work unsupervised no one to keep them In line I asked them who ran the store they said she (Analisa) is never here they don’t have a schedule for her she comes and goes when she wants I left her a message it’s been a week and still no call So now the solution team says I’m stuck with the mattress and have to pay for it.

Terrible the customer service lady wanted me to provide information about the table I didn’t even have. Table came missing parts advised the delivery guys and didn’t care! They just wanted to drop furniture and run even though we paid for the deluxe delivery.

My husband Armando Rocha and I have had an awful experience with Ashley Furniture. First of all the delivery men placed our furniture on the street, therefore it got dirty. Imagine paying thousands for new furniture that’s dirty. They promised to make notes and they took pictures and assured us that they would send a tech to come clean furniture. No one came . My husband went to the store and made an appointment for cleaning . They promised the tech would be at our home last Thursday. No one came . Its now 3 weeks with dirty furniture . We call the store and we get placed on hold for hours . No one answers . I do not recommend anyone do business with this furniture store . They do not keep their word, and they have delivery workers that don’t care about the products that they are delivering. The salesmen just care about making a sale . They do not care about the customer or customer service.

My experience with Ashley's has been disappointing due to poor training of their employees. This issue is not just with the store or the employee, but with Ashley's as a whole. They recorded the wrong address despite us providing the correct one, and now I have to drive 30 minutes to fix it because they won't resolve it over the phone. This mistake has cost me time and fuel. Additionally, they promised a delivery date that was never even scheduled. If you plan to do business with Ashley's, I recommend going to the McAllen store. People please remember it's worth filing a complaint with the BBB since it is free and relatively quick! Definitely filing!

My husband and I recently went to Ashley's Homestore in Brownsville. It was an exceptional experience from the moment we walked in. The manager, Analisa, was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure that we found everything that we needed. She exceeded our expectations. She was so knowledgeable about the products and the selection that they have that we were able to go through this store with ease. What really stood out was how she took the time to listen to our preferences and really made the whole shopping experience wonderful. Everyone on the team was very warm and greeted us with smiles. And you can see that customer satisfaction is really high for them. The showroom is beautiful! Analisa was so helpful and let us take our time, ultimately we were able to find the perfect furniture for our home. We dwe definitely will be returning to that store any time we need anything for the house.
Horrible customer service and really bad communication overall. Won’t answer their phone calls and take forever to give you an answer. Called for 2 weeks straight everyday to cancel an order and they still came to my Apt with it and had to send it back. You have 72 hours to report anything but they never answered the phone and after a week of calling they finally answered and told me it was canceled and never was. Customer service sends me to the store, and the store sends me back to customer service making it impossible to get a straight answer. Tried to get ahold of the manager and after waiting for over an hour and a half on hold they just hung up on me. Now I have an incomplete sofa in my Apt with no arm rest and still have to pay the regular price for it. Overall, it has been the worst experience I’ve had in a furniture store.

Well… I have to say purchasing has never been faster but the problem was with the items I paid for not being able to get from distributor center. (It wasn’t their fault) I purchased 5 stools 3 were available 1 wasn’t able to be sold since it was marked clearance and it couldn’t be released 🤷🏻♀️ And there were no more shipments insight. I’m very thankful to the distribution center for being honest and kind with me. Even the sales man was great, the problem is that the inventory I paid for was not available

They are incompetent when making the order and if you go back to solve an issue it DOES NOT get solved until you go back for a second time… or call directly at the Ashley customer support. I called the sales rep because no one had the curtesy to let me know what the status was. And she did not even answer or respond when I called her again to see what was happening. Customer care advised me to go in person to speak to the manager. I had to go in person and manager analisa Flores flat out said no I was not going to be able to get the color I ordered. She sent another manager named Claudia who was absolutely horrible! She did not even bother to look into it to see how and why this happened as a manager should. She just said no we can’t do it and was extremely unprofessional. I called customer care back while at the store since management and sales rep refused to resolve an issue they created. Finally after the customer care rep that I had to call spoke with the sales rep told her it was a store error for ordering an item that was not available anymore. She said the rep needed to tell the manager this was not the customer’s fault which I already had told them. So after 3 days and half my Saturday at the store it got resolved thanks to customer care! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT / THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THROUGH / AND PRODUCT IS AWFUL ... We purchased a mattress a few weeks ago from this location. The manager assured us that the mattress would be delivered on a day we agreed upon - the day before the agreed upon delivery day we get a call stating delivery was never scheduled and we needed to schedule it. After unsuccessfully trying to contact the store manager, who originally assured the delivery date, we then tried contacting the sales associate - she finally responded stating she was not at work but would get back to us as soon as possible to resolve the issue. She never got back to us despite several more attempts to contact her. Needless to say their customer service is horrible and the mattress itself is awful, it feels nothing like what we tested out in the store and we were never informed that you can not return a mattress unless it is damaged on delivery. ** After almost 2 months of trying to break in this mattress it just keeps getting worse and we ended up giving it away because it is awful. Don't waste your money here.

After visiting three stores before going to Ashley’s in Brownsville, the plan was to see a couple more, compare deals, rank what bed set we liked best, and decide where to shop. Well, the sales lady and managers called it when they said Ashleys was the last store we would visit because we would be making our purchase with them. We got friendly and overall superb customer service and ended up with a bedroom set much nicer than any we had seen plus another bed set and mattresses. We called the store to see if they could send an operator to look fix or take a look at it but no one showed up. We called customer service, we had to go on a dispute and we lost bc they said it does not cover quality. Almost 3 months and nothing, don’t buy anything from here!!!

Worst service ever. I've had the worst experience ever. I bought my bedroom set at Ashley's it's taken approximately 3 months to get my merchandise. At the time of receiving my merchandise they brought me the wrong one and broken as well. They left and said they could do anything about it. I decided I don't want anything anymore and they said I couldn't return it because I received it and I said No i haven't because it's not the correct furniture I brought. Worst company ever.

I had to wait 4 weeks to get a delivery, ounce i got a delivery they went to my office and because they were off on the address, but yet they made contact with my office and were on site , my personel showed them paperwork that it was the right place. Delivery driver was rood and left with my merchandise, i called to speak to management i guess she took a long lunch break because i never received a call from them still till now , i expressed my concern from someone from the store andsaid many would call back , a week and a half today i just got my merchandise wow , how they made wait... We ordered a table and chairs for our kitchen. They were scheduled to be delivered yesterday. When the driver got close, he called to say the table hadn’t been loaded. An absolute nightmare! Bought a $4000 living room sectional that was delivered in two parts. First part the delivery guys got dirty while bringing it inside. They tried to clean it with water and all they did was leave water marks. Was a real pain to set up an appointment for them to send a tech to clean them. Their distribution center is absolutely horrendous customer service. They release your calls when they don’t wanna deal with you, I spoke to 6-7 different reps in one day and not a one resolved my issue. Then the second part of my sectional was suppose to be delivered and I was waiting and waiting then suddenly I get a text that my furniture was not loaded in the truck so no delivery. Back to trying to speak to a rep again and more delays and waste of time. Today, they finally delivered the second half and I kindly asked the delivery guy to please be very careful handling the furniture because of what happened the last time and his response was “these couches always come stained.” They set them up, don’t even hook them up right and then I find one of the pieces punctured and both with stains. I payed a lot of money for a brand new sectional, I expect a brand new, undamaged, clean sectional to be delivered. Worst experience ever purchasing anything. I 100% do not recommend for anyone to buy furniture here.

$1,400 for a defective bed?? It’s such a shame because their actual furniture is so nice, and fairly good quality for the price. But this bed is completely unacceptable. The delivery guy told me it would “expand” the next day, since it “came rolled up.” Made sense to me at the moment, but it must’ve been sitting in some hot Texas warehouse, melting and/or warping, because once it “expanded”, after a good 12 hours—it expanded only in the middle. The head and foot of the bed remain flat. It’s unusable, unless I want to sleep with my spine arched and my neck strained all night. Have tried contacting the store locally in Pharr, but they’re not being helpful. They sure took the money for the bed though.

Purchased a $3000 bedroom set & got cheap quality furniture made of pressed wood that feels like cardboard holstered in wallpaper. Shipping & deliver took forever only for a $500 piece to arrive broken on the backside & scuffed at the stands. I purchased a protection plan that is completely useless. Clearly the delivery team tried to carry the cheap wood with a dolly but snapped it in half so decided to drag it up my concrete driveway instead. Rather than disclosing the damages they hid the broken piece by placing the damages against the wall. I went to the store only for the lady to tell me it was no longer their problem & contact the customer service number instead. I called customer service & they said they'd contact me in 3 days but they never did. Yet 3 days after delivery is what they give to make returns. Now I'm stuck with broken furniture made of fake wood that is no where near being worth $3,000. Save your money & don't purchase anything from this store because not even the protection plan they upsell you is real.

Getting any kind of assistance regarding needed changes to your order is non-existent. You are shuffled between customer service and the sales department and in the end no one can help you. Shame on the sales department for taking advantage of the elderly and adding on a protection plan that was just not explained to my parents. Also according to the website the protection plan can be canceled at anytime with a pro-rated amount charged yet I was told that cancellation after delivery is just not possible. Liars! I will report them to the BBB. 3/23/23 I have tried to reach out and have yet to receive a response. Is there a way to get assistance? Calling the store or chatting online has been unsuccessful.

They only care about making sales and say they are not responsible for anything!! Even if you receive the wrong furniture or if if it’s broken!!! You don’t get what you pay for!!! They keep saying they’re in their way and make you wait all day and they never arrive!!! We’ve been waiting for MONTHS to receive the correct furniture and still nothing!! But they are charging monthly payments!!! They don’t want to cancel the order, won’t give down payments back, won’t deliver anything, won’t take responsibilities in any form!!! A TOTAL SCAM!!!! 100% FRAUD!!! Furniture was for a special needs person!!!!!!! WORST STORE IN THE USA!
I was in the store looking for a living room set. I was approached by a salesperson and her name was Amanda Diaz. Amanda was very friendly and professional. She was extremely helpful and patient as we searched inventory. After looking at all the options I told her I would return the next day with my wife so she can pick out what she liked. Amanda asked me to wait and a short time later a female approached me and said she was a manager. She proceeded to give me her sales pitch. She made it very clear that if I didn’t take her offer there would be no more negotiation if I returned. The manager was extremely aggressive and pushy. I told her that my wife needed to be part of the decision on picking out the items. She then stated something like, oh it’s because she makes the money. As insulting as that remark was, I left with plans to return only because of Amanda. Upon returning the next day with my wife, we made contact with Amanda. Again, Amanda was fantastic. She wasted no time in helping us pick out what we wanted. The process went smoothly and she even worked out a good discount. So much for the managers no more discount policy if I walk out the door. Amanda then walked us over to the cashier. The cashier was a light complected woman with short brown hair who never identified herself. We handed her the cash for the living room set. Amanda was there throughout the whole process. The cashier then approached us and asked us if we had two other hundred dollar bills. I told her that we did not. She informed us that the machine that they put the cash in would not take the two bills. I assume it is a safe like the ones convenient stores use to drop cash. She said she needed to have the two bills replaced to finish the transaction. I told her we could not replace them, that was all we had. The cashier just stared at us so I told her that we can just cancel and they could give me a refund. The cashier said that if that’s what we want to do. The problem was that the machine didn’t want to take the bills for whatever reason. The bills were not counterfeit and they were not claiming that they were. They just simply wanted two other bills because it was an inconvenience for them to have to go to the bank and exchange them or simply have the manager solve the problem. They were choosing to let a cash purchase of almost 5 thousand dollars walk instead of solving the problem themselves. So, Amanda came to the rescue and intervened. She picked up a radio and began to ask if anyone had change for the two hundred dollar bills. The problem was quickly solved. We thanked Amanda for intervening. She told us she wanted her customers to be satisfied so that they can return. Amanda is the only bright spot that we encountered at the Brownsville, Texas store. We will definitely return but only to buy from Amanda. *Update. Store assured furniture delivery by March 11th. Today, we were told until March 18. Store is pointing the finger at delivery. Delivery is pointing the finger at the store. Very disappointed!
I wish I could give this place a better review, unfortunately I can't. My mother in law requested a bedroom last year since November set that was supposed to be delivered since December. A set came in towards the end of February, two months after it was originally going to be delivered and come to find out it was not the one she ordered. They did the installation even though she mentioned over and over that it wasn't what she had ordered and asked to get that removed and sent back. They did not remove it even though she has asked for this many times. She asked to get the correct set and they said it wasn't in stock or some excuse. She asked if she could choose a different one and they said she could but she would have tho pay the new set and the wrong set. This is a joke. They are not taking responsibility of their mistakes and they're customer service is definitely awful. They need to get her what she asked for or reimburse her completely. It has been months of her expecting to have a decent bed and Ashley has not resolved othe issue. Definitely not recommend this place at all. Go to Furniture Row.
Please avoid bad customer service! I don’t like giving bad reviews about a business, but as a business owner this place deserves no stars at all!!! They delivered the wrong furniture to begin with!! To make things worst they are forcing me to stay with the wrong bed set, and still till this day 45+ days nothing has been done about it! Really really bad customer service! Since they already charged the furniture they don’t care at all about the situation! My brother in law is autistic and slept on the floor several weeks due to this! I had to go out at buy a mattress for him since Ashley can commit to fix their mistakes. Go else where read all the previous comments. Why am i posting this? I realized for my self how bad this place is. I waked in with my wife like normal customers, and 3 women approached us asking is how can they help us find something for our home. As soon as i started mentioning about our problem they all walked away! One of them behind the counter literally ran towards the back. What a shame on them.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! They scheduled to deliver my furniture and no one showed up, they never called to cancel my delivery.. I took the day off to wait for them !! You call and no one knows anything everyone is lost !!!
I went to Ashley store to get prices on section all but prices were ridiculous $4000. And still wanted $300 for delivery to pay the guys to install and $300 for protection plan, that's stupid. I think that's why people don't go there it's always empty when I pass by. That expensive will keep me from shopping there. Good luck.

After much searching for a couch, we found the one we wanted at Ashley in Brownsville, Tx. We ensured the backs of the couch detached so it would be able to be brought through the door of our Fuzion.I won't even go through the trouble we had trying to pay cash rather than financing but after waiting 4 weeks for delivery, when it got here, the backs did not detach...will not go through the door. Refused delivery and told to go to the store to find out next steps.Got to the store and checked the floor model and confirmed the back detached and the numbers were the same. No managers were there to speak with...so a helpful sales rep told us she would file a ticket with customer care. They would call us within 24 hours. They did not.I called customer care and spoke to a representative who had no f$$$'s to give and told us to go back to the store to resolve.We called instead. Spoke to Terry at the store, who was very empathetic but again, there again were no managers in the building. She assured us she would get to the bottom of the problem and call back in 30 minutes. This was at 11 AM.By 4:15 PM, Terry still hasn't called back.We go back to-the store. They are willing to do nothing but order a new one. I explain we don't have 4 weeks to wait because (1) we are leaving the area (2) we now have no couch because just before the couch wrong was delivered, we got rid of our other one.By this time I'm in tears or close to it and I tell my husband let's just get a refund.They are happy to do that but will take 7 to 10 business days for the money to be back on my card. WHAT? I paid cash???? Never mind that we had to pay in full upfront...they will take their time returning it.We even offered to take the floor model! Nope...no can do. So here we sit in our RV, with no couch and no money for 7 to 10 days.Please save yourself the stress, the trouble and the aggravation and do not do business with this crappy, poor customer service, excuse giving organization that has no empathy or compassion for their customers when they have created the problem.

Again, I send a complaint, they answer but nothing is resolved, nothing happens and the story continues as follows:February 5, 2023, after few calls with the corporate representative, we agree on a new delivery day set for February 4, 2023, as they state on the BBB process, we wait all day for the delivery and receive a call on Feb, 6 ,2023 to reschedule again they, state we do not confirm the delivery which is poste on text messages as prove, and posted as schedule delivery by the management representative as resolution of the case, again they do not provide the promises services and they just work gaining time until the companies were we a posting complains and are working with us close the cases. I would like to have a full cancelation of the purchase and pickup of the chairs, as there is no way to keep all this traveling to the store and long times with the customer service agents. The products delivered are damaged, and there is no way to go for months with this issue between one department to other and one agent to other.

0 stars if possible. Half deliveries, either missing pieces, completely off-colored, or damaged (all of which occurred). You have to deal with customer service rather than the person who initiated the purchase. The one who directed you into making the purchase will disregard everything to make commission and refer you to customer service because they can’t help you any longer. Expect to get your full delivery many months after purchase (still waiting). Delivery logged things that were delivered when they weren’t so you will have to put in a ticket number so they can investigate the issue based off of photos from the deliverers (clearly showing the item wasn’t delivered). Over $15,000 and still sleeping on the floor. Definitely not recommended.

Spending a lot of money on furniture only to deal with about 10 cancellations and rescheduled deliveries for various pieces and wrong pieces being delivered. Sold me a queen size bed frame with a twin size mattress, don’t know how the sales man made that mistake… so I had to wait two weeks for the delivery people to exchange out the mattresses I actually wanted. The mattress I finally got was the queen size mattress in a box and it is pretty comfortable. Shop online and not in person.. not sure if they were just trying to scam me or if it was an honest mistake.

I’ve ordered here before and didn’t get my furniture for over a month. I was hoping to have a better experience the 2nd time around but once again, I was disappointed. I was texted to schedule the delivery, then a day before it was to be delivered, I get another text telling me to pick another date. I call the 1800 number and the guy was very rude. He still said he would email the delivery center to add my furniture to their truck, but there was no guarantee. My husband decided to go to the store and they were even worse there! Said they never had me on schedule to be delivered even tho we had a text telling us our delivery date. Horrible customer service once they get your money! We tried to cancel and it would be a $400 penalty. So now we are stuck with no furniture and no guarantee of when we will get anything delivered. Worst experience with a furniture store- the 2nd time around. I should have known Better! Avoid this place at all costs!

It’s ridiculous that I can’t contact the local store directly. I have called the corporate umber five times and for five wrong answers on how to do it.
Ashley Furniture store agreed to have a delivery fee waived on a delivery that we wanted to pick up. Long story short, couch was defective, they refuse to waive delivery fee. Have disputed charge and cannot get a single person at Brownsville store to return my call. Take my advice, look elsewhere for furniture. Do not trust the salespeople at Ashley Furniture store. They lie!
Bought a tempurpedic mattress and everything was fine until it came to make a claim to the insurance company, Ashley promise to send me the phone number with my invoice to my email and failed to do so, 15 minutes turned to 2 hours and didn’t hear from them , asked to speak to a manager and Jesse told me he was in a meeting asked for assistant manager and also in a meeting, my question is who is at the helm when a customer needs management???
I can’t recommend Ashley furniture. They delivered a broken product, and do not stand behind their products. My wife was told someone would contact her about coming out and repairing this dresser only once she left a one star here. They have since ghosted my wife and do not reply and the phones hang up when my wife calls them. It is very unfortunate because my wife and I spent $1000 there only to be tossed aside and ignored after they got our money. My wife has been nothing but kind and understanding of them up until this point. Enough is enough. Ashley, please send someone out immediately or give us our money back so we can get a piece of furniture that isn’t particle board garbage from a company that stands behind their products. Their standard reply to this will be to tell me to email or text a number that does not respond after finding out the issue.

Delivery took longer than expected, and items were not all delivered at the same time. Unexpected delays on part of the delivery team occured multiple times, and when asked as to why I wasn't notified that my items were not going to be delivered, they said it is part of their policy to inform the customer but they just never did it. After the complaint occured my husband received the call advising of the delay or vehicle malfunction preventing the delivery from occuring on the scheduled date, which was already past the 3 hour window which meant I wasted my time waiting at home. They told me a manager would call to talk about my concern, and it never happened. Not satisfied with the service, their product however is nice.

Do not buy at Ashley Furniture Store. So disappointed with Ashley Furniture Store for using deceiving and fraudulent practices. I bought a sofa and a love seat from them on 8-13-2022. I was told that the items would be delivered in 4 weeks. When they came to deliver, they only brought me the sofa. I was told by the delivery personnel that who ever loaded their truck forgot to load the love seat. Delivery guy called warehouse and he was told that indeed, that the love seat was there at the warehouse and that they would call me the following Monday to arrange delivery date for love seat. I was given 9-24-2022 as the new delivery date. On Friday 9-23-2022 I called Ashley Furniture to confirm delivery and their response was that there was nothing scheduled for me and that the love seat I had purchased was in back order, which means all this time they had me believing my love seat was in their warehouse when in reality they did not have it in stock when theysold it to me. I had given them 2000 dollars down for the purchase and now they are refusing to give me a full refund and also refuse to take back the sofa they had delivered. I'm done doing business with them and I will seek legal counsel to make them do this right.

Horrible delivery experience. Waited for more than a month to get a mattress delivered to me. They messed up on delivering in order twice and came on wrong dates and kept pushing back my delivery date because of errors they did and were not able to help me with anything. No one could give me a answer as to why the delivery team showed up on the wrong delivery date.
The salesperson lied to us about giving us a credit discount and we had to fight them for 3 months to get the credit on our bill. The manager is even worse. She promised a replacement cushion for the couch we purchased and we are still waiting for it after 5 months. The last person we spoke to said the cushion has never been ordered. These deplorable people will say anything to get a sale and make excuses or lie until you get tired of driving to the store to talk to them. By the way, if you try calling the manager, she’s never there according to the receptionist.

Our experience at the store was mixed. First time we visited no one approached us to see if we needed anything. Our second visit was much better. As for the delivery service it was horrific. I was scheduled a window from 1-4pm and received a phone call at 4:15pm that the driver was out and that I wouldn’t be getting my order. It was supposedly rescheduled for the next day at 8am never showed up when I call the service they had no records and basically was non helpful. They did give me the number to the warehouse were I encountered the same rude employee who called me the previous day who basically told me there was nothing she could do when I ask if she could transfer me to a supervisor she hung up on me. When I tried to call back she wouldn’t answer the phone. When she finally did answer she was rude and unprofessional I honestly don’t know how she is still employed with the way she spoke to me. To top it off we are still missing our Teo lamps that were schedule to be delivered with our sofa. I’m sure that will be another story to add to this.

I was told that the delivery truck “ broke down” and my furniture will not be delivered as planned. How unprofessional. You’re a furniture store. Your job is to deliver furniture. You have no contingency plan for a broken truck? You had one job to do. People arrange their existing furniture and their daily schedule to accommodate furniture deliveries. Be honest - the delivery staff just wanted to go to the Labor Day BBQ, didn’t they?
Not happy at all with the delivery system.. they give you a time frame and they never show up within that time frame so you have to make sure you home that delivery day all day because they can come any time of the day.. there is no communication between the company and the delivery guys which is ridiculous..

I went today because of the 25% sale and 5 years no interest advertised. They would not honor either and was told those expire all the time. The total was $150 more than it should have been and when I asked to see the extra costs the sales woman got angry and said it’s taxes. I told her only $46 was taxes and she said $70 delivery. When I didn’t want to pay the $70 delivery fee and said I would pick it up the sales woman said sarcastically “you would have to pick it up in San Antonio we do not have pick up”. I told my husband I’m not paying that delivery fee when I live 20 miles from here and the sales woman stood up, slammed her iPad closed and said fine and walked away. I went to her manager who defended her actions and was told to leave the store. I have furnished my ENTIRE house and my daughters apartment from Ashley’s for YEARS! I will never step back in that store. They have the WORST customer service ever!
Wish I could give zero stars! Worst place ever! Bought a bedframe and it was delivered damaged! They have come 2 more times to try and replace the frame but the replacement frame is always damaged! I have been waiting a month for the bedframe! They just make sure everything looks nice at the store to get you to buy their furniture. Not worth the headache.
Ordered item march 5, was told 10 days to two weeks shipping. Nothing!! Finally received a call it would be July 19. Nothing!! Being a winter Texan , we are not at our condo in the summer time! Finally item was delivered August 8 and had to notify neighbors to take delivery. Have not got to inspect item to verify it is correct. My item was paid for at time of order so you used my money for several months!!

Fui a Ashley porque estoy buscando una cama Queen con un buró y colchón con Box Spring, le dije a Melisa que yo ya tenía un crédito autorizado con Acima de $1,100 aún así, prosiguió a hacer una nueva solicitud, con lo cual, lo que consiguió fue que me redujeran el límite de crédito a $950 pero logró que me lo subieran un poco por $1,045 y me consiguió acomodar casi todo lo que quería dentro de ese crédito, por lo cual acepté a realizar la compra. El problema fue que "alguien de la oficina" mandó el contrato al número de celular equivocado, entonces tuvieron que realizar un nuevo trámite con Acima con lo cual sólo consiguieron bajar mi límite de crédito aún más por $750 por tanto, tuvo que quitar parte de la mercancía que quería para poder incluir el resto en el nuevo crédito otorgado, por tanto, decidí mejor no realizar la compra. Fueron alrededor de 3 horas que me estuvieron haciendo esperar entre que iban a la oficina, regresaban, volvían a ir y a final de cuentas no compré nada y sólo mi límite de crédito se fue para abajo gracias al mal manejo del personal. Así que, gracias por nada Ashley Furniture!
(Bad Furniture) Americas #1 WORST FURNITURE STORE! came DAMAGED TWICE! I have a chest with the leg broken and the dresser with a huge scratch! Second time they were supposed to bring new ones that weren’t damaged and take these but the chest they brought had a hole that trespassed both the box and the chest so they weren’t allowed to take or leave anything I had to reschedule and the 3rd time they didn’t come at all, I received txt messages of them being 6min away but the arrival time passed and furniture was not here I was waiting inside my house next time I have to wait hours outside in the sun to make sure they don’t leave. I called customer service and she said nobody was home on the 3rd time of delivery so they left, which is false my family & I were waiting for it. No call or txt was made stating they had arrived! It’s obvious they found out the furniture was BROKEN AGAIN for the 3rd Time so they left before I told them off for bringing me trash to my home which is not what I’m paying for 4K+!! DO NOT BUY THEIR SERVICE IS TRASH (in store, customer service, & delivery!) AS WELL AS THEIR FURNITURE! I called the store and the guy that answered hung up on me while I was waiting for answers! Avoid THE STRESS, ANGER, & HASSLE!!! Don’t Waste your Time, Money, Credit, here! **Once again for the 4TH time the chest came damaged the delivery person took a picture of it and didn’t even get to bring it down of the truck because it was noticeable and he left and now I have to wait AGAIN! This is unacceptable never had I encountered this with any other furniture store from the valley. As a matter of fact I expected better in all aspects from Ashley’s, but I was wrong! Garage sale furniture is by far better than this. So disappointed!

Ashley and Karla we’re very friendly and helpful. They help us with choosing the right furniture and took the time to find it in their computer.
Sales rep lied to us, told us that we would receive our order in one and half weeks it is currently five weeks and no delivery time. When I called the sales rep she didn’t have any urgency in correcting her mistake and then proceeded to lie to me again.
We have been waiting for almost 2 months for our bed frame. Customer service hangs up on us more than they help. No one can tell when our furniture will come in. And they really don’t care to help.

The manager placed an order that we did not approve as we decided not to purchase our items. We didn’t find out about the order until weeks later when we received a message for delivery. They were persistent that we place the order. This is unacceptable.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Not once but TWICE has this store failed to deliver our furniture (same order) as scheduled and WITHOUT even notifying us that they wouldn’t be showing up after all! In fact, we’ve been told they don’t have to notify the customer if they won’t be making their scheduled delivery! It’s been over a MONTH since our order was ready, and we still have no furniture! We are ready to cancel the order and were also told we’ll have to pay a 10% cancellation fee. For this order, that comes out to over $400 we will have to pay for THEIR MISTAKES AND INCOMPETENCE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR WHAT YOU NEED! ANY PLACE IS BETTER THAN THIS!

I would never buy from Ashley again. Dealing with this craziness for 8 months. Our couch was delivered broken. Our dining set was delivered partially and we are still waiting for the table to be delivered since November. They delivered chairs but some how the server wasn’t loaded and delivered and the dining table had missing parts so they took it back. Now we are still waiting. Never again I’ll go to Ashley’s!
There is a huge selection on the showroom floor to browse or go through the catalog. My salesperson, Ashley, was knowledgeable, polite, professional and very helpful. She got me a great discount so I was able to purchase a sleeper sofa and a recliner. This is a great store, excellent prices and outstanding staff. I’m glad I visited this store today.

I had order a couch online to be delivered on 5/26/2022 and three days prior I had confirmed my delivery date and time and at 11:06am I had gotten a text message that said please call to schedule a delivery time. I had spoken to the customer service department, which told me the earliest I could get my couch delivered was June 3rd, which was unacceptable when I confirmed it for 5/26. I, then spoke the the supervisor which in return said the same thing but moved up the delivery date to June 1, which again unacceptable. I order this specific couch because I could get it in time for family to visit. I eventually after being on the phone going back and fourth saying next week wasn't an option that I would go to the warehouse in Brownsville, TX to pick up this item. The supervisor told me that it would take 48 hours to process a pick up, again unacceptable. I eventually cancelled my order, cancelled my credit card I opened with them and will NEVER use Ashley's again. I will give my service to Rooms to Go, or Lacks.

Great experience. Salesperson was courteous and professional. She was also very patient as we toured the showroom 5-6 times while we decided what we wanted. It was a large purchase but since we are very eclectic people it can sometimes be difficult to help us. I did have to push back on an outrageous delivery fee which was a bit frustrating. When your buying almost $8K worth of furniture, you don’t expect to be charged another $500 for delivery. Most furniture and appliance stores don’t charge delivery fees anymore. I felt bad for the salesperson because after 2hrs of helping us I had to send her back to her manager 3 times because I refused to pay a delivery fee, specially when i am spending that kind of money. I literally had to say “i have no problem walking away from this sale over an almost $500 delivery fee”. That is what finally did the trick. All in all, the salesperson is why the review is as high as it is.

They keep telling it’s almost ready they send me text saying it will be delivered by a certain date, I call and the MANAGER has no clue of anything! Then they say that furniture is not in existence. I want my 500 dollar refund!!! Oh says the MANAGER, as per policy you are only entitled to 79 cents! DONT buy furniture here please!!!! They are cheaters and Liers and just want to take your money!!!

The worst experience ever NEVER buy furniture from this store when I purchased a living room set which was $4,000 they not only took forever to deliver but when they did iteams were damaged and the 3 times they try to bring a new item in it was the wrong iteam and still damaged ended up exchanging for a new living room set and took them 2 more months never delivered when I called back to find out what was going on they had canceled my new order and had no idea what I was talking about. What’s the point of handing me a business card with your info if you can’t be a decent person and reach back out to me the customer. I bought a sofa, king size bed and a dinning table. All 3 broken on delivery. 1 day after delivery I noticed the bed frame was broken on the siding. Took pictures sent them and they told me they would deliver the parts and send someone to fix it. Later I find out the sofa is also broken on the bottom I had to use the insurance. I was promised the delivery fee of 75 dollars money back by mail. I never received the money back. Fast forward 3 months. Im about to remove the dinning table extender what do you know its missing 2 hinges. I should of gone to rooms to go.

Stopped by for the second time today, looking for a new sofa for our living room. The salespeople were extremely helpful, pointing out several that met our criteria. Selection was outstanding and we had trouble making up our mind; they backed off and let us wander and talk until we were sure, then they stepped in and wrote it up for us. I was somewhat taken back by the additional costs of extended warranty, delivery charges (no free delivery here), and, of course, Texas taxes, but in the end we will be getting (in 3 - 4 weeks) a great couch recliner at a reasonable price. Customer service was excellent.

We walked in to check on recliners and decided on a sofa w/double recliners and an oversized recliner, both power lift & recline. Silvia helped us and did a nice job helping us find the perfect set. The lead time to deliver was a bit extended however we were notified that they had the oversized recliner stock. The manager offered detail about the quality and options on this and others items we had questions.

Horrible Customer Service! Purchased a dining room set with white glove delivery. When it was time to deliver and assemble I had to reschedule THREE times! Each time with a passive "I'm so sorry". The 1st time customer service "had no idea why the delivery cancelled". The 2nd time I was told that only the table would be assembled and while I was on the phone with customer service (while at work!) the delivery man left and didn't even assemble the table! The 3rd time I had no one to come home and received the delivery and had to request half a day PTO! Ashley Furniture treated me with a "it is what it is attitude" and "I don't need you, you need me" attitude! Very upset and disappointed! I was hoping that this would be my 1st of many purchases and I was sadly mistaken! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!! Once you pay you are on your own!

Wasted our time while enjoying my money. We bought our bed in Brownsville, TX. The staff were nice but their corporate office is the pits and their contractor delivery company is a joke. I am so disappointed and frustrated. I'm tired of waiting and never getting an apology or results. At this point I just want my money back ASAP. Thinking of seeking legal advice since I paid in full in April and still do not have my furniture. I did report to BBB. Again, DO NOT BUY from ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! You'll thank me.

The experience was awesome, it will be some time before they arrive but thanks to Amanda and the management I can honestly care less when they arrive. Me and my wife took at least two hours to make our selection and Amanda had patience that I wish God had blessed me with 😂. Her tentativeness to our question was humbling we haven’t purchased furniture in over 10 years well other than a mattress. She caught us up with the times and I am glad that I will be watching movies on a zero gravity sofa. If you don’t know what a zero gravity sofa is like before I walked in then I recommend Ashley’s furniture to you!!!

Gilma made our shopping experience so easy and enjoyable. Very happy with the service we received. Update: The shopping experience was quick and easy. The rest of the process has been horrible. The delivery date has been changed and pushed back numerous times and each time I’m having to adjust my schedule to fit the estimated delivery time range just for it to be canceled. I have been given notifications through text, email, and phone calls and the information provided never matches. Just as I am typing this, I received a text message notifying me that the delivery date has changed AGAIN! This is ridiculous. I am hoping the product is satisfactory because the rest of my experience, aside from Gilma’s hospitality, has only been confusing and frustrating.
We went to the Ashley's in Mcallen but opted out of buying our bed. I immensely regret not going back. Not only was the associate at Mcallen a lot more knowledgeable, he educated us on deals we could get from the creditors. Because of him we decided to buy our bed afterall but since Brownsville is closer we decided to come here. The associate who helped us wasn't very well informed of the beds we were looking at so the manager came to assist. They both pretty much said opposing things but we already knew what we wanted so it wasn't a big deal. The manager was nice enough to give us a gift card to use on a future purchase. After looking for so long I finally found something decent to get which was a comforter. The price said 189 for King and Queen would be $40 less. Perfect! We get to the front and it's conveniently now 199 for a queen. The reason they said was that when they edit the tags the person probably just edited the size on top. Which was a cop out that didn't make sense because the prize was still wrong. It's a $50 discrepancy that they couldn't honor. There was more items that didn't match the prize online to the price on the floor. This is the last time I come to this store. I seriously regret not going back to Mcallen where they seemed to actually want to help you. Edit: So after texting the customer service number they replied with I was left with more frustration and confusion than before. Basically they gave me a run around. So they're customer service is a joke.. You are crying about a $50 price adjustment because your employee messed up and you won't honor it after my husband and I spent over $5,000 in your store. Please do NOT buy from here unless you're okay with being duped because they think you're dumb enough to fall for it.

We ordered a bedroom set from this store because we were told it was in stock and deliverable in two weeks. After four weeks we still didn’t have it. Each week we were lied to about a delivery date. Finally we were promised it was in and being delivered, oh not Monday, Tuesday oh no Thursday for sure. I called twice to confirm we were getting the full order. When the truck comes there’s part of the order and no mattress. And the head board is broken to bits
If I could give a rating less than one star I would. My elderly parents purchased a bed from this location back on May 29th and we have yet to receive the bed. WE needed the bed asap due to my father's condition and need to be propped up, but we were told it would be there today and nothing. I called to confirm it would be delivered today and to my surprise no delivery date was yet scheduled, it said my order was ready and I could schedule a delivery date now further out, of course. Yet my mother received a phone call stating that it would be pushed out till today and here were are with no actual date ever set. When we purchased this bed we were told the delivery date was set and we were not informed we had to contact them to set it up, on the other hand we were told it was all set up and ready. I have called three phone numbers and no one even cares about the situation, no attempt to make things move along faster or anything. The sales rep seems to care but apparently, he isn't able to do anything. Well then who is? Who will do all in their power to make a customer happy, no one at this store, that is for sure. Please do not shop here, they are easy and fast to take your money but after that they just wash their hands and don't worry about any customer service after that, I mean they do already have all your money, why would they? This is ridiculous.Go elsewhere to get your furniture please.

Today we were looking into mattresses and recliners....Teddy sold us the mattress and when we showed him the recliners we wanted, he knew he didn't have what we wanted and couldn't beat their competitors price for leather recliners. We drove off to Mc Allen to Rooms to Go were the recliners were at.... There was nobody at the front door to greet us and I literally had to go look for a sales person to help us. The girl who helped us was sweet and kind..... but the overall experience could never beat Ashley's.

Came in on the end of April of this year to purchase a California king size memory form bed along with a night stand. The salesman was great, he said we should receive the furniture the first two weeks of May. We said that was ok, within the first week they call me saying that it’s gonna be towards the end of May when I’m going to receive our furniture. Disappointed, I still kept my cool and said it’s ok. I receive a call on Wednesday the 26th of May of this year saying that my furniture should be in the warehouse by the 27th. I was excited to finally get my bed along with my night stand after almost a whole month waiting for it. They ask me when I wanted it to be delivered, I said the Saturday of that week, which is today. Around 1:30pm I noticed that they haven’t call me, so I call customer service and ask what time my furniture should get there? Later to find out that y’all move me to the 29th of June of this. I’ve never been this upset towards a furniture store, beyond disappointed again. In conclusion, I decided to cancel my account with you people and ask to get what money I’ve paid back. I will never do business with you people again. In other words, if you have patients to wait for a two piece furniture for almost two months, then by all means knock your self out.

me and my wife went to Ashley furniture in February to look for a new bed...we ended up getting a new bed with an electric base...bed frame and a desk....its already been 3 months and I we keep getting is the run around from the sales reps as well as both managers from the store. I had to keep asking for days off each time the order delivery was rescheduled. the delivery date has been rescheduled 3 times!!! Me and my wife truly regret going to Ashley furniture store and will never do business with this furniture company again! Today is the 17th of May 2021 and supposedly the order is to arrive today...again taking today off to wait...such a horrible experience ...DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY!! Lacks or furniture row has been the go to for many of my friends and they all were satisfied with the service and products....Ashley for a first time buyer..I must say..you've made a very poor first impression. ✌

I was not aware I was doing business with a circus. I purchased a full bedroom set and the day of purchase went by smoothly. Salesman presented all positive vibes and painted a pretty picture, promised my husband and I to keep in touch with any updates regarding delivery dates, changes , etc. Leaving the store that day was the last time I ever heard anything from anyone. My order was delayed by almost a month! Finally the day it was to arrive , trucker was a no show. Got rescheduled for following morning. Also, a no show. It’s been almost 2 1/2 months. And I yet have my new bedroom set. Terrible customer service! Terrible experience! Terrible way of handling their distribution line! I will not order anything anymore moving forward.

I was looking all around the store until a young lady (Gina F.) approached me and she helped me. She was really nice. I ended up purchasing what I needed there paying with my bank card. As a matter of fact nobody offered me to apply for a store card.
1 of our deliveries was above board with the delivery men. They were amazing, respectful of our existing furniture. Installation of our adjustable frame went very well. I give delivery/installers a five star. Ashley furniture on the other hand has many down falls.

This has been really stressful rather than exciting. We decided to buy our first living room set from Ashley Furniture since they speak wonders of the store. We specifically told the sales person we wanted the cream color. Later on they bring us the wrong color for the set. They leave the love seat since we didn’t have anything to sit in. They said they will fix the sofa. Today the sofa was being delivered but again it was the wrong color! The sales person couldn’t cancel the order because apparently they loose their commission. I on the other hand have to wait longer for the to fix the issue when it could’ve gotten fixed when they brought in the love seat. I won’t buy again from here. Thank you.

Thinking ok 3rd time is a charm (after so many calls made) to finally getting everything deliver at once (after 2 months of being purchased from December) & for the table to be broken!!! Horrible experience! For a company that states integrity is a core value, I have seen none so far. Delivery for two orders scheduled for Feb. 16th. I called to reschedule for Saturday Feb. 27th so I could be home to receive it. We replied and confirmed our Feb. 27th delivery date early in the week. Then we get a confirmation on Thursday that we will receive one of our orders on Friday, the 26th. We had no way of being available to receive the order. This is where things got out of hand. Contacting customer support the call quality was horrible and they kept dropping the call. Finally was able to hold a conversation with someone and they stated it is within a 48 hour window of delivery and I had to contact store to fix the issue. The store at first kind of shrugged their shoulders as if they couldn’t do much. Finally one person was able to help a bit and confirmed with me that they were able to get the warehouse to deliver both orders on Saturday. Today, only one order came in and the delivery people did not know where the other order was. All they said was to contact store. At the store they couldn’t figure out where our order was. They took my information and said they would contact me once the manager of the warehouse found our order. Four hours later I decided to check in to see what was discovered. They sounded like they forgot to check and told me they received a message but that another person who was on break had it and would call me back. Two hours later no call back. I don’t think it takes 6 hours to find a missing order. My wife has also been trying to call customer support but most representatives sound like they have a bad connection and drop her call. They constantly tell her they will look into it as well and state they will call back in two hours. This has happened twice already with us trying to call back after two hours each time since we don’t hear from them. Each time they also claim they don’t know what is going on. All I see in this is that no one wants to figure out where our order is. The store just seems to care about their sale and leave customers to fend for themselves once the order is placed. There are to many disconnects between each of the departments. Delivery states that they don’t know anything. Customer support says the store needs to deal with this. The store says delivery needs to deal with it. No one seems to have a handle on this issue. Each time dealing with representatives, including managers, they don’t really seem to care unless other customers are listening. They shrug their shoulders and have an “it is what it is” attitude. At this time looks like best thing to do is cancel the order and look elsewhere.

Not only did it take so long to receive my order but I’ve been putting in a claim for over 2 months and they keep saying that someone we talked to didn’t complete the claim. I do it again then someone didn’t upload the pictures. Then that they gave us the wrong email. We havnt been able to sit in our sofa for so long but of course we have our payments coming in every single month. They keep saying someone is calling us to make an appointment to come we never get the call. We have called so many times. I’m even on hold right now. We have work and a baby we are busy and we need to take so much time off to try and get this fixed and they always come out with something new. They don’t help. Never buy from them.

Ordered 2 bedroom sets for our kids. Delivery is pushed out so far, we waited close to a month for our sets to be delivered. Only for them to tell us 2 days before the delivery date that it would be another 3 weeks. When we asked to cancel the order, the sales associate told us that one of our sets was ready and they could deliver on time. When we went in store to pick up a mattress, they informed us that the delivery would still be another week and a half. The associate lied to keep our order. We canceled everything and will never shop with this company again.

When I went to go speak to them, the store manager was not very helpful; instead he told me a clerk would call me on Monday to cancel my entire order (at my request), and of course, NO ONE has called me. I have called and left messages for some type of confirmation of my cancellation and NOTHING! Horrible experience...I wish I had read other reviews about this store before I walked in there... lesson learned for me, but please learn from us... do not give them your business.
Joel provided excellent service for my purchase today. He was knowledgeable and had a great attitude. I hope all goes well with delivery unlike my last purchase made months ago. We went buy Ashley furniture to purchase several items as we needed to furnish the almost the complete house. I paid a portion cash and the other portion financed on @acceptance now. We moved into our house about 2 weeks ago and haven’t been able to receive our living rooms sets as well as other items. Living rooms are the once we need the most right now. They say because the order is financed through acceptance now and they only allow to get things delivered in one trip. That they can’t break up the items in more than one order. I understand if the items are on back order because of the pandemic and things being affected with everything going on at the moment. The thing is they have the items ready for some time now and because of that policy they have they aren’t delivering. Some of my items have been put in back order again because production and inventory is being affected by pandemic. I completely understand that because I know that isn’t your fault, but having some of my things ready and not delivering them is completely your fault. I know those policies are put in place for a reason and maybe in normal times, but I think you all should be able to adjust that policy to help your clients too during these times. We’ve been sitting on the 4 dinning chairs to watch tv because we haven’t received our 2 living rooms. I think that’s absurd. Paying all that money and interest and can’t use our furniture because of that policy with acceptance now. I’ve went to the stores several times and the sales employees have their hands tied and can’t help me because of that policy. I’ve tried to call different numbers to corporate and no one can help. One says I can only help for online orders and the other number says to call the first number I already called that could only help online orders.
Good selection of quality furniture at a fair price. Very courteous knowledgeable sales people. I have to add this to my original as a week before we were to move into our new apartment Ashley informed us we would not recieve our furniture for another 2 months. I immediately cancelled our order and demanded a refund on our down payment. We then had to go out and purchase furniture from other suppliers to at least have a bed to sleep on and a couch to sit on. We continually kept checking during the time from when we ordered until right up to the cancellation. Each time we checked we were assured everything would be okay and that our furniture was in the warehouse locally waiting to be delivered. Our order was cancelled due to manufacturing problems, at least that is what they attempted to tell us. Funny Ashley brags about manufacturing thier own furniture so why did they tell us everything was okay from the beginning. Lies Lies Lies

We closed on our new house and were looking for a few new pieces of furniture. The Brownsville location has a fabulous selection of high quality furniture, we were so impressed! It was so many issues and excuses with Ashley. Lady that ran the store (didnt catch her name) didnt bother looking up my account and said ooh well as if my business didnt matter. But thank god everything went great with Lack's chose what i wanted and no BS, to my surprising within 2 weekes i had my brand new couches in my livingroom 😊 of.

Ashley’s was the first stop on our hunt for a sectional sofa with a Chaise. We were helped right away. We found what we were looking for but decided to shop around. We ended up back at Ashley’s buying the sofa. They had the best prices and the most options. The only reason I did not give a 5 stars rating is that we couldn’t get an official date for delivery.

I made a purchase at Ashley furniture in Brownsville Texas. My furniture was supposed to be delivered today. Not only did I take time off of work but I sold all of my daughters old furniture, I rushed to get the room painted and ready for her new furniture and nothing was delivered today. I called the store and no one answered. I called the salesman with a cell phone number that he provided and there was no answer either so I had to go in person. I drove from Harlingen to Brownsville simply because they would not answer the phone and I came to find out that my delivery has been postponed until January 5. No one bothered to notify me. I don’t even understand why this happened since I was told when I made the purchase that bedroom set was available and in stock at the warehouse. I find it very unprofessional and I wish I had read some of the other reviews before buying from Ashley furniture. This was the first time and will be the last time that I buy from them. I am hoping my order does come through as promised and does not get delayed a second time as I see this has been the experience of previous customers. I am extremely dissatisfied.

Customer service does NOTHING to help. I will NEVER purchase from Ashley Furniture agin nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I ordered a sofa and chair and a half on 9/12/20. I was told it would be delivered by November 10. So I removed all my old furniture to make room for the new. I was excited that I would have it by Thanksgiving. The chair arrived on November 20 and was told that the sofa would be delivered on Nov. 30, after Thanksgiving. Now they tell me that it won’t be delivered until “maybe” December 12. Meanwhile, all I have in my living room is the chair. This is ridiculous! Three months waiting. So we bought sofas, tables, entrainment center & rug. We paid for our rug upfront and then when time to pick up the rug they gave it to someone else. Manager Alex & Claudia were rude. I do recommend this place to no one. Customer service was horrible. They had the "who cares if you cancel attitude"! Mcallen is way better. I'm still fighting for my refund of rug. I don't cancel my order because then we are the ones that lose with no furniture. Till this day 3-18-2021 no one has called me back

Took a lot of convincing to get my grandma to visit your store. They have been customers of lacks for many years. My grandpa is a disabled veteran and has a hard time sitting down so we knew a recliner would help. I traveled from Dallas to Brownsville to take my grandma to your store. Stay away from the snobs Update 10/30/20 - My first dining table showed up with 5 wood chips on the table and 1 on one of the chairs. 3 weeks later ashleys finally sent me a replacement, they dont turn in the replacement in boxes, its wrapped in think blankets, the replacement table was broken, so had to wait another 3 weeks to get a 2nd replacement, the delivery guy was trying to convince me that i didnt need the the new chairs that came with the dining set, i took a look at his truck and noticed the chairs were all the way towards the front of the trailor. i made him get them all out so i could inspect, and only replaced 1 chair. i dont recommend ashleys anymore. go to lacks, or anywhere else.

I am currently having difficulties getting a hold with Ashley’s furniture regarding delivery for my bed set that was supposed to be delivered yesterday. When calling yesterday for the details no one answered the phone and I was being left on hold for hours until I went to the store personally. When arriving I had explained to them that when we bought the bed they had told us that they were going to call a day before to let us know about the delivery details or if there was going to be any delays but no one called us. The lady had told me that they were having problems with their system and weren’t able to see any delivery status which I understood but to leave people on hold for hours without answering the phones and explaining this it is unprofessional. I heard the phones ringing and ringing and saw no one answering them. They were supposed to get a hold of me yesterday as well and no one ever called to update me at all.

The type of bed she recommended me was a temperpedic mattress with a life expectancy of 20 years ,because it would last me the longest and would adjust to my body. Recd a promotional letter with great offer of 5 years with zero interest, with free delivery, $100 gift card for each $1000 spent but the salesman and manager said offer of with zero interest Could only be applied to the higher regular prices on the website and not the promotional lower price on the website.. In addition, the regular prices posted throughout the store could not honored at promotional letter’s interest rate and or the website 30% discount advertised online.. To confuse further, they added that the higher discount of 30% And zero interest that was posted on the website could not be offered on the posted regular prices in the store. Further discrepancy was the promotional Zero % financing over 5 years. They stated they could only offer 6 months with zero interest and 12 months with furniture at higher price point for 12 months regardless of fact that we have excellent credit scores and an account with twice that purchase price in available credit. At the bottom of it all, it appears they use the old bait and switch tactics that neither honor the promotional offer recd in mail or that posted on their website. What happened to clear consistent pricing and clear practices on promotional zero interest being promoted ? Buyer beware! Buying furniture shouldn’t be about having to haggle management in order to get pricing, discounts and interest rate to be honored as advertised... Not to mention, free delivery that is not honored automatically even though it’s on website and promotional letter recd... in retrospect, the rating of three stars should be much lower for customer service, company pricing guarantees and would be if we didn’t consider that the furniture we being purchased is great quality!
We really enjoyed the experience of shopping at our local Ashley Furniture Store. We enjoyed that we were able to walk in and see and feel what we could buy. Greg our sales associate was very attentive and friendly. When we were ready to make the purchase, Greg even came to meet us at store on his day off. We love the Dining Table and Sofas we purchased. Can't wait to have them home!!!! Highly recommend Greg! I also want to provide an excellent review on Alex, one of the managers. He was extremely helpful and excellent customer service. In store experience was good but delivery way a disappointment. It has been 3 months already and I still have not recieved my order. They give me a delivery date and then one day before they text and tell me it has changed. I have called the customer service department and they are rude and unable to help the customer at all. I understand that due to the current situation there would be a delay but this is ridiculous. 3 months and I still haven't recieved my furniture, they sure took my money bit havent brought me my furniture. Super dissatisfied will never shop there again. Its such a shame the service is amazing in store and they have great and attentive works in the store and the delivery department ruins it.

Horrible delivery customer service. The delivery dates keep changing and I am not notified till the same day. My delivery date has been changed four times this last one when it was changed no information was send to me. My son has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor when I caught covid-19 why because Ashley's decided to change the delivery for his bed even though they already had the bed. I would not recommend Ashley's to anyone for the same reason. I have been getting the run around on my furniture been delivered especially my sons bedroom set. Great experience overall. Our sales rep Claudia was so friendly and professional. She was able to answer all of our questions and made the buying process a great experience. She let us know about all the options available to us and helped us feel comfortable with our decisions. Terrible, terrible service. I ordered a bed at the end of June and was told it would be delivered July 10. A few days after I ordered I noticed on my invoice that the wrong item was ordered so I tried calling to get it fixed. No one answers their phones. So I drive 20 miles to the store to get it fixed and the store manager fixes the problem. He then goes on to say it won’t be delivered until August 15. I did not receive a call or text to let me know my item would not be delivered. I make several attempts to call the store and no answer. I call customer service and waited 20 minutes and still no one answers. So I drive back to the store on August 16 only to be told that it would be another 2 weeks before I receive anything. I canceled my order instead. It’s been 48 days since my initial order and not one time did anyone at Ashley Furniture make a courtesy call to me to let me know what is going on. As a first time shopper here I will never shop here again.
We walked in to he store for the first time and we were greeted very nicely and professionally.The showroom was very nicely set up and we describe what we were looking for to the sales rep.She showed us several options .My wife and me where very pleased with the price and verity of options and were glad that we didn’t have to buy a whole bedroom set we were actually able to choose a single item.We definitely recommend this furniture store.

Every time I come here I always have a great experience. This time my sales person wa Joel Rodriguez. He was very attentive in regard to what my partner and I were looking for. The manager also. Buying experience was good, but everything has gone downhill since then. Original delivery date was over a month after our purchase. Times are different now, so we were okay with that. Then 2 days before scheduled delivery we get an automated notice that it had been pushed back a week. This didn't work for us. We tried multiple, multiple times to contact the store by phone, but always wound up getting disconnected after 7 - 8 minutes on hold. Finally had to drive the 25 miles there to talk to somebody in person. Delivery scheduled to a day after the original date, which was okay. Today is delivery day, and the delivery men find that the wrong parts are included, so they take the furniture back with no confirmed time when they might be able to re-deliver. Said based on their experience it could be another 2 - 4 weeks. Tried once again, multiple times, to get somebody on the phone at the Brownsville store. Same result, multiple hang-ups after being on hold. Now we have to drive down there once again. Terrible service. Would not recommend ever buying from this store if you hope to receive your purchase in a timely manner.

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the way Ashley’s furniture store has treated my situation. I purchased my bedroom set and a few other bedroom decoration items and it took more than 2 months to be delivered. Now, with the current situation I understand the hold up, but what I don’t understand is how damaged the bed frame was. It had only been about a week after receiving my bed when I started feeling a huge back discomfort and realized the bottom of the bed was slowly breaking and sinking in. I’m no expert at these things but my last bed set last me over 5 years and it never gave me any issues, in fact I sold it looking practically new. The worst thing for me out of all this was the customer service this company gave me. I went to the store where I had initially purchased it and the person “helping” me kept giving me the run around. She did not bother to even look at my order or ask what happened with it she just kept giving me the run around and insisted on calling customer service and have them see my issue. I was very upset and called from the parking lot. Customer service then told me to go back to the store because there was nothing I could do through them. How in the world can this be coming from the same company? I go back in the store and explain to the same lady what happened and she tells me her manager, which was too busy to speak to, would give me a call back when he got a chance. I waited 3 days and no call. I call customer care again and they transfer me to others who “could help me” about 4 times. I was on the phone with no guidance as to what was going to happen for about an hour, mostly waiting around in transfers. The last person who I spoke to last Friday assured me she would send someone on Monday to inspect the bed. She was practically ignoring me most of the time and while I tried explaining my situation. I became livid when she didn’t even try to find a solution for me and all she kept saying was “I don’t know what we can do if it’s been this long since the purchase”. She wouldn’t even let me finish explaining that I had only just received it less than 2 weeks prior! No solution was found, she lastly asked for pictures of the bed, which I provided immediately. Three days have passed and I have now received a notification that someone will be coming until 2 weeks from now to see what they can do. My wife is a registered nurse and we both work 12 hour shifts. We not only waited a long time for this “awesome product” but now we wake up with back pain due to this damaged bed. The issue only keeps getting worse. This is the worst experience we’ve ever received from any company, keep in mind Ashley’s was recommended to us and this was a first time purchase. I can’t believe how bad the customer service has been. Please be careful when purchasing anything from here, however, personally I would never recommend this furniture store to anyone.

I've shopped at several stores like ( rooms to go, lacks ,famsa,conns) and none of them have ever disappointed me as much as this store i ordered a dining set on april they did told me that orders were being delayed due to the pandemic and that my order was to get deliver 4-6 weeks which i totally agreed on But then the "delivery date" arrived and no one came or even called to let me know my furniture wasn't getting deliver i was always the one calling and every time i would call they would always change the dates today i contact the store once again because my dining set was supposed to get deliver tomorrow and i found out there was no delivery schedule for tomorrow its been over three months that i ordered this and now they're telling me they don't have a delivery Date until the middle of September that would be 5 months from when i ordered it. I ended up canceling my order what a waste of time i will never be purchasing from this store again.
Worst Customer service ever, I bought my furniture over a month ago and they just keep in rescheduling my delivery and of course they charge $150 delivery fee. When I went to the store to try to speak with someone that could help me resolve my issue they Store Manager sent me to customer service, I called customer service and they couldn’t help me either. They said each stride is owned individually and they couldn’t give me the DM information. I felt like I am playing hot potato but no one could resolve my issue.

My experience with this store so far and still continues to be dreadful. I buy cash for all my furniture. I’m from McAllen and I drove all the way to Brownsville for an item that my grandma wanted. We got there. Paid for it in full and we are still waiting for it to be delivered. It has been over a month and I was promised specific timeframes. I reached out to the salesman who happens to be the “assistant manager” and for him to not respond to my text messages with updates honestly goes to show the lack of professionalism your store and your employees have. If your leaders show this I can’t expect anything less from your other employees. When I bought furniture in McAllen. I paid and I had everything by the time I was told and I spoke to a regular representative. I understand certain things do happen to be out of your control but what you can control is the common courtesy of your customers to respond and give an update. What’s the point of me having your personal cell number if you’re going to ghost me for something I have already paid for? Ridiculous. Unprofessional. Transactional and flat out not customer service.

(never got a call back i had to call the following day myself). 3) Rescheduled for a THIRD time (for weeks later of course) the day before they called and emailed me to confirm delivery which included ALL my items. Finally, the day OF delivery... they ONLY showed up with bed (not everything else that was confirmed). Turns out the bed was damaged and they had to take it back and would reschedule me again for bed, sofa and recliner. We have now left several messages at the 800 and pablo kisel number for (Ana) to confirm cancellation of our entire order and HAVE not been contacted yet. They were very friendly, courteous and respectful of what I was actually looking for; without putting pressure on me to spend twice what I had budgeted myself for that day. They were even able to find me savings and discounts on the furniture alongside the payment plan that best fit my payoff desires. Additionally, Michael was able to find and attach an earlier date for shipment on my mattress over the other pieces. Even with this pandemic affecting the supply chain. The location is very clean and neat with adequate parking. I highly recommend coming to this location for your furniture needs.

No storage but we gave it away June 9th -Delivery arrived on time. Paperwork shows all ordered items are on the truck.All the major items were put together we were then told a few items are missing? Also told us to call customer service.Had we known we would not have accepted delivery nor disposed of all of our furniture.We called the sales lady that worked with us and told her. She said the manager would call us shortly. Waited four hours and called the store. No answer from any of the extensions.Called customer Service on hold for over two hours.June 10th -Drive to store. Ask to speak with Manager - Told him what happened. He said "Nothing I Can do" I then said ok I guess I should call my credit card company and cancel the payment. He said "Yes you should"Now on Hold for 2 hours with Corporate customer service.Finally, after two hours was able to speak with someone. After about a 45 minutes conversation we were told sorry, nothing they can do. No compensation, no discount no nothing! So, we are at our Condo in South Padre Island and cannot rent out our Unit. No crowding like you get at other stores, and we were not ignored when we told him what we were looking for. He took us straight to the thing we came to see and gave us several options to help out. Horrible experience don’t buy from this company. I got a email confirmation of my delivery date, I waited all day and they didn’t show up. I contact customer service, very rudely the Representative stated she couldn’t do anything since it was a store purchase something so simple but yet no one can help. As of now I can’t get my money back and I haven’t received my product it’s been Over 3 weeks.

Ashley HomeStore always sounded intimidating to me. I felt that walking into the store would cost me money just to breath. But i was so wrong. My fiancee and i had visited a couple of furniture stores prior to visiting Ashley. We had an idea of what we wanted for our new home but felt like the furniture offered at other places was ugly or too expenssive. So we decided to give Ashley HomeStore a try. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and Joel showed us around. He was super knowledgable and was fantastic. We decided to walk away just in case we found something better. We were not successful. We came back to Ashley and Francisco helped us this time. Francisco was able to answer all of our questions and helped us with calculations in order to stay within our budget. We went in hoping to get a sofa and dinner table set. I'm glad to say that we came out with what we wanted and way more all because their prices were super reasonable, we got an additional 10% percent off and the financing was long enough to keep everything within our budget although im 100% sure we will pay everything off way before the finance period ends. Honestly, check them out. We didnt feel pressured to buying from them but we ultimately did because of how confortable we felt with them and because of their amzing prices and product quality. I highly recommend them.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY HERE. Horrible horrible horrible. They messed up our order, and wouldn't cancel when it was their mistake. To cancel we had to pay 10% about 200 bucks. The manager of the store told us that he would call us in 48 hrs so we could pick one of the furniture, that was Tuesday, today is Saturday and I am still waiting on his call. Please do not buy here. My husband had enough so we will pay the fee and cancel. I will never buy anything at this store. I should have known better. If you have a lacks in your town please go there. Ashley is cheaper for a reason.
Both Dennis Garza and the store manager ushered me over the entire store in pursuit of either a chair or a sectional with chaise lounge. Eventually I brought my dog with me as we both must fit in my purchase, and it resulted in an agreeable sale.. They made it easy by escorting me back and forth until I could make the perfect selection. I would go back there in a minute if and when I need other furnishings. Great store and a great value.

If less than one star was an option that is what I would choose. Furniture was selected, paid for and then the issues started. The delivery was rescheduled four times by Ashley Homestore’s delivery service, not by us. After over a month and a half of rescheduled deliveries and still no furniture my husband and I decided it would be worth to pay the 10% restocking charge just to finally get furniture for our new home, from a store that would deliver it. We tried contacting the Brownsville store via phone, but no one ever answers the phone, it just gets forwarded to the customer service line. Which conveniently, the customer service department cannot cancel any orders, only the store can. So we had to go back to the store, which was a half hour from our home, where the sales coordinator said he canceled the orders and we needed to return on Saturday to finalize the credit. We returned on Saturday only to find out the incompetent sales coordinator cancelled nothing in their system. We then met with the sales manager who said everything was cancelled and we should receive credit paperwork via email the next day. After three days of no emails from Ashley Homestore, we drove back to the store only to be told the only person who could help us was the sales manager and she was at lunch. We had to wait for half an hour to be helped and then she also didn’t fully submit our order the prior Saturday for credit because she left off one chair when she did the return initially. So after dealing more with the incompetent sales manager and her rude comments we finally got documentation to support the returns and credit. So now we wait for our money. I can honestly tell you this is THE WORST furniture store I have ever dealt with. I would never recommend buying anything from here or working with any of the incompetent individuals that work in this store. Keep your money and go somewhere that you will be respected and get furniture you pay for, and that doesn’t have reviews like this. And to Management spare me from your response that says you want me to contact you regarding my order. You didn’t attempt to make it right up until now so why would you try to save face on the internet like you have in so many other review posts responses below. The furniture is bad! I bought a bed, it crumbled after a few days with a humidifier in my bedroom when baby was sick! Avoid! Compressed fake wood! $2500 wasted.

We came to Ashley Furniture in hopes of great service and received the opposite. While the sales rep was good, actually getting our furniture has been a headache, to say the least. We were told we would get our furniture on a Monday so we cleared out our living area for this and on Monday no delivery came. We called and were given a Wednesday delivery, Wednesday came and nothing so Friday was the new date, Friday came and you know the patterns now...nothing!! Friday we were told Saturday and confirmed this date with multiple people and we’ll nothing and we are told Wednesday would be the new delivery date. The managers and everyone we have talked to has been less than helpful. Then we are told if we cancel the order that we have to pay a cancellation fee!! No we will not be paying bc you can’t get your sh*t together. Needless to say, we will not be doing business with Ashley furniture in the future.

I ordered 2 sets of bunk beds on June 6th for delivery on July 23rd. I received a call a few days before the 23rd saying the beds would not be available until August 14th. I took off work on the 14th and the service techs arrived as scheduled. However, they soon discovered that there was a problem with the legs for the top bunk in both bed sets (different models). The service techs called in to let customer service know what the problem was. I talked to the customer service man twice within 15 mins and was told both times that the parts would arrive within 24-48 hrs and the service techs would come back on Saturday to finish setup. So it is Saturday and I called to see what time the service techs would be arriving, only to be told by the corporate office that the parts should arrive in 2WEEKS and then the service techs would be scheduled to come out. I asked how I could cancel this order as this was unacceptable. I was told I needed to cancel the order with the store where I made the purchase. I called the store and spoke to the manager on duty as the store manager was not working. I explained the situation and told him I wanted to cancel the order but I would not pay the cancellation fee as this whole scenario was the fault of Ashley Homestore. He responded that only the corporate office could approve not paying the cancellation fee. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!! And it isn't over yet . I am totally disgusted with this situation and highly recommend people not buy from them.

Poor Service. Ordered a piece of furniture about 2 months ago and never received it. First delivery attempt they brought the wrong piece of furniture and they notified me the piece was at their warehouse and the incorrect piece was loaded into the truck. When I asked if we could go and pick up the furniture from the warehouse personally they said that it was not possible so I rescheduled delivery for 2 weeks later. Second attempt for delivery it was a no show on delivery. I called Ashley's to inquire and they notified me the piece was delayed and not at their warehouse. One star is too much of a good rating for this type of service.

I ended up buying my sofas online only because the assistance that I got was way under my expectation for such a reputable store. I asked if they had the type of sofa that I wanted, even show them a picture, yes the rep knew they didn't have it and just pointed to some places around the store that we may want to go look at. I would have been fine with anything they had in the store specially because they deliver, but that representative had a horrible people skills, not sure why butt I felt the tad bit discriminated because of my attire perhaps? Horrible customer service. Delivery of our furniture was delayed by 10 days without any notification. We sold our furniture expecting delivery. Customer care advised that fine print disclaimer states that any delays for delivery; and the customer is screwed despite paying for service. Theyre solution was to just ewait for them to be ready to deliver. We sure recieved the bill in a timely manner though. Were disgusted with the service provided.

Several days before the delivery date I got a phone call from the manufacturer that the sofas I purchased were not going to be available until May or June! They are selling an item that they don&'t have! I have spoken to several people at corporate office and they say it&'s out of their control. They cannot give me a date as to when my items will be delivered! I will never buy anything from this store again! UPDATE!!!!! I was contacted by Ashley furniture and all they did was tell me that my order could not be filled within the promised date! They are now moving the date to May 14,2019! Almost 4 weeks later than the promised date! As of today May 17, I still have not received any sofas! The delivery date has now been moved to May 30! The customer care department said there&'s nothing they can do. It&'s because of the manufactures. I called the store and spoke to Anna, she said she would look into it and call me back. I am still waiting for the phone call! I called the store this morning and no one is answering! They have transferred me until the phone hangs up! WORST SERVICE EVER! UPDATED.. May 21, I was contacted this afternoon by customer service and now they want to cancel my order over the phone when initially I was told I had to drive 60 miles to the store! How can you tell me one day that I have to go in and now that updated the review now you&'re willing to cancel the order over the phone! I told them after making me wait all this time I expect my sofas by May 30! I have already waited 10 weeks! I wanted to cancel the order since April!
Management does not care for drivers well being nor customer values. That's the delivery 2 hrs. Late, all because the person who schedules these guys in isnt doing any dirty work so they cram the truck in with furniture, not only that they make these late night deliveries all the way to 12 midnight,. That obviously shows management does not respect the safety for their workers to get extra trucks and man power to help these drivers out!!!
Purchased bedroom set in Feb I had scheduled a delivery for April 1st delivery 1st time customer; missing rails to build the bed. I had to wait 2 weeks for the rails I called customer service for a delivery time I was given a time of 3:30 customer service calls me at 3:20 to tell me the delivery driver was stuck in traffic would be 30min to 1hr to get to me. 1 1/2 hr later I called to see what the hold up was only for rep to say oh they have 3 more stops before you they should be there soon 7pm comes up i'm frustrated by then waited all day (wasted my Sat) only for them to now tell me they won't get to me till later on I asked to speak to Corporate MGR she says she can't transfer me to mgr that mgr will tell me same info....at this point I'm really upset kept getting the run around.. .. Ended up having to speak to store mgr...No one cared that we said we were upset and that I would return merchandise.... So much for customer care... Had to really talk to mgr to make them understand why I was upset and now I'm waiting on the "rails".

Walked in ready to order a new sleeper sectional. Found a model I liked and was ready to order. Once I had the amount it would cost and had it verified that my Acceptance Now had the credit limit to cover it and they tell me because of my standing that I qualified to have my first scheduled payment extended by a month, which for us was perfect due to timing of a lot of moving costs we already had. Once papers for Ashley furniture were signed Acceptance Now came to us stating that they didn't know what was going on but that the extended first payment couldn't happen and they couldn't figure out why. When we wanted to tell the sales person that we wanted to wait to order he couldn't be found with the signed paperwork he had already collected from us. So we decide f*** it why not and continue on to do the Acceptance Now paperwork and once we were done with that our sales person came back saying that our furniture delivery was going to be two weeks later than they had originally been told. We were disappointed but not mad, yet. After about two weeks we receive a call stating that our furniture would be further delayed and they didn't know why but we were about to already make a first payment on said couch so we were a bit concerned at this point. About a week later we receive yet another call saying it would be delayed AGAIN another two or three weeks. At that point we had already made a first payment and were about ready to pay the furniture off completely but at this point we were unnerved about it for the fact that we didn't know when or if were going to get our couch at that point and every time we reach out to the store 1. our sales person is never there, and 2. no one ever has an answer for me. And what really gets to me is when they say they will transfer me to someone who can help I hear a cackle and the line disconnects (that happened more than once). So now we have made a payment, and we don't know if we will get our furniture on the new "delivery day" or not. Oh and I forgot to mention that I did get a call asking if I wanted to receive half of my furniture on one day and the other half another day which I did decline. We only ordered one couch. . one sectional couch. . . they offered to deliver HALF OF A SECTIONAL COUCH. How would I even have that in my home and explain that to our family and friends who come over. . . ? If you can shop in McAllen I HIGHLY recommend that you do. I have had no issues over there, my only problem was with this location. Avoid if possible. I will say the Acceptance Now people have been very helpful and understanding of the situation and wish they could help but have their hands tied due to the lack of knowledge Ashley Furniture has to anything that is going on.
Nice furniture. Even though it would be nicer if they had a little more modern options. However, I'd like to thank Melissa for helping my wife and I select a great mattress and answering all our questions. She's been very professional and efficient in helping us find what we want. Always a pleasant shopping experience. She's a keeper!

The worst service we got furniture on February 16 to be delivered on the 9 of March between 6 and 9 on a Saturday night we got a sofa and a recliner a table an 6 chairs just before they delivered the driver lets me know that they don’t have the table know I have to wait till March 21 first Just ridiculous worst service ever

We’ve always had great customer service when we’ve shopped in store. We had a horrible experience when we tried to place an order online once so I would not recommend that. Two completely different experiences! Having said that, we’ve purchase from Ashley in store many times and have never had a problem. I actually went into the store thinking I was at Denver Mattress..I was introduced to salesman John Boyd Long story short he sold me a mattress and s power base for it. He was very knowledgeable about the Temperpedic products. I had visited several other stores looking at them for about 6 months. I can’t believe I bought from him in about 30 minutes! John was extremely helpful and at no time felt as if he was rushing us to make a decision on a mattress. He took the time to explain minor differences and made us feel we made the right choice in the end.

Both the foot board's and night stand's drawers would not open. The nightstand's secret jewelry drawer had scratches on it. I personally saw the delivery men take the merchandise out of the boxes so I know that they did not damage it. It came damaged from the warehouse. To top it off, they stated that customer service would contact me the next day in order to replace the items; they never called. I had to call the store to let them know about the damaged items and the manager stated that this was the first that he had heard about it. My husband and I are so disappointed.
First time ordering through the phone and my experience was nothing but great. Speedy and polite service. I had several questions which they answered with patience and attentiveness. I wish they could get my furniture delivered faster lol but it’s not too long of a wait and it helps that they assemble! Awesome customer service so far, we’ll see how it goes with the delivery. Edit: So I’ve been trying to get in contact with anybody from customer service for the past two days. My boys’ Bunk beds were supposed to be delivered this coming Tuesday the 12 but they pushed it back till the following Saturday, annoying. Because they’re scheduling system was down they had me call back half an hour later but to my surprise no one answered the phone. I left my number and never got a call back. The girl I spoke to earlier said she could possibly get me an earlier delivery date but I’d have to call back when the system is up and running, well if someone answered that would have been nice. I’m very disappointed, not so much because the delivery date was pushed back although that was annoying. I was already waiting 2 weeks but I’m not gonna make a scene over a delivery date, what really annoyed me was the fact that NO ONE could answer my call or return it.

The delivery process unfolded exactly as promised on the day and in the window of time arranged. The driver and helper were friendly, courteous and efficient.

He immediately took us to the Platinum Mattress and explained the inner springs as to it's function. he also told us to lay on we did and took us to another less costly but we realized the first one was the best. we told him we were still looking. we did and did not fine one that was better. we waited a about 5 days and kept looking and we finally decided to go and see Tony and we were interested in the finance program and to our great fortune we qualified. we just didn't purchased the mattress but box spring n a recliner. went out smiling. Enjoyed shopping at Ashley's because your products are durable and you have a great warranty trial for pennies. Thank you.

Worst customer service ever. Do yourself a favor and don't even go into this store. We placed an order for delivery in two days. When it came, it was the wrong furniture, so we sent it back on the truck. We called the store and they said that they couldn't get the furniture we had ordered for a month, and, they were unwilling to work with us to find any solution. Now, more than 3 weeks after cancelling our order, they have not yet provided a refund even though they have told me multiple times that they have sent the refund in. They are untruthful, unpleasant, and lack any idea of how to treat customers. This franchisee owns stores throughout South Texas. I believe this represents the business ethics of the entire operation so I would be leery of doing business with any Ashley Furniture Homestore in Texas.
Excellent customer service. We were able to get our leather couches at an amazing price for Black Friday sales. We took our time to decide, and Lexi was very patient with our choices left and right.
