Happy with the purchase and salesman but delivery has been delayed. One star for delay.

Ordered a sectional which was quick and easy and it was delivered 1/9/26. Delivery drivers were great. Problem happened after they left, we realized one of the recliners footrest wasn't working. It looked like the wire to control the footrest and the housing was broken. I contacted the store immediately, they told me to use the text message feature to resolve the problem. This is a terrible option. Whoever I am communicating with is not helpful at all. Even though they had my order with all the information they insisted on the serial number of the unit not working and pictures. Well of course the serial number on the actual piece is on the back of the footrest that wasn't working. So I had to crawl behind the sofa and take a picture of the tag. I was told they ordered the piece I would need to repair the unit and it would take 8-10 business day. Very frustrating but ok, I text back a few days later asking for the tracking number and they tell me they just now ordered the part and it would be an additional 8-10 days. Still no tracking number. I text back again today and no response at all to my request for a tracking number. I have purchased a sectional and paid extra for recliners to be in certain locations and I can't use it since it came to my house broken. I have tried contacting the store again but unable to reach a person. Very disappointed and will not be making any future purchases with Ashley Furniture in College Station.

Holly Johnston, Ashley Furniture, was amazing! I called her looking for a particular vase that could hold water. This is unusual request, and only a furniture store I thought would have something. She searched the entire store. By the time I arrived after work, she had several options available for me. She walked me through the store until I found something suitable for my needs. And then she gave me a discount. Great customer service.

Had a most pleasant experience w/Andrew when buying our Temperpedic. Andrew S. was so knowledgeable and very friendly and down to earth. Although I knew I was going to buy a Temperpedic when I went in, he answered all my questions and made me feel like I was buying the right bed for my husband & I, when we had so many choices. Very nice experience!

Was greeted by Morris and he was very helpful without being overly “pushy” in trying to make the sale. I was pleased with his assistance!

My sister and I came to look at sofas and accent chairs. Ms. Ariyana Gill approached us, was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. She helped me look at several different options, answered all my questions and ultimately assisted me in selecting a sofa and chair that was right for me. Ariyana was personable and polite throughout the transaction. She fully explained the 5 year warranty, which we bought. We paid cash, so the manager had to complete the transaction. I ordered furniture from this branch about a month ago. It was supposed to arrive that same week, but it was backordered and no one bothered to notify me. After making a few initial calls to get a refund, I have had several calls to Ashley's customer service line, all of whom were unintelligible due to being located outside of the USA, and to this Ashley branch with the customer service still lacking. I will never return. You take my money out immediately, and then you fail to notify me about schedule changes and you fail to return my money. It's time to bring in the Better Business Bureau and to notify the bank that you did not fulfill my order.

Upon entering, we were greeted by EJ. EJ was professional and respectful of what we were looking for. There was a very good ebb and flow of communicating. We purchased three pieces of furniture and are pleased with our selection and price point. EJ represents the Ashley brand with professionalism and will contact him again for future needs.

Wife and I purchased new sectional couch about 4 months ago. They delivered the wrong set to begin with and then took 4 more weeks and a lot of complaining to get the right one we ordered. Just me and my wife no kids the furniture has broken three times already. Just a big hassle to call and wait hours on the phone to try to get a repair man out. Long story short it’s broke again and it’s been 4 weeks since they promised a repair again. Do yourself the absolute best thing and shop somewhere else . Any where. Total waste of money. Will not ever purchase from Ashley again. Wish I could give zero stars.

Good sales people but awful company finances! Charges my debit card but payment do not attach to order. Bank shows payment was made but their regional finance department cannot find the payment! Out of money and no merchandise!

I came in to look at a few sectional couches. The rep who assisted me was Jordan Murray. I explained to him what I was looking for. Told him I had 4 kids and wanted good quality and something that didn’t stain easily and cleaned up even easier. He showed me a few sets and I was stuck between the Lerenza and the Larce. He explained to me that the Larce had better fabric ratings but both were good couches. I told him I needed to think about it and went and got dinner while I did my research on both sectionals. I came back and decided on the Larce. I appreciate that Jordon wasn’t pushy. I had gone to Lazy boy and the sale rep there was very pushy. Checking out was easy and setting up delivery was easy as well. The delivery drivers Darion and Cedric were here on time, asked me where I wanted my sectional placed and moved it where I wanted. Both were very friendly and respectful.

Your manager is not friendly

Ashley offered great deals on quality pieces with affordable prices. They also had a really friendly and attentive staff. Go visit the Ashley store crew for all of your furniture needs.

Zach at the college station store on hwy 6 is amazing! He helped me when I was shopping for other furniture and I told him we would be back to get a mattress for our daughter. He stayed in touch but not too much. We found out his aunt and uncle live across the street from us. And he played baseball at Texas A&M like my husband did. He is so professional and u can tell how well meaning so I trusted him right away. He found us the perfect mattress for our daughter. Give him a raise!!!!

After 3 different furniture stores we landed at Ashley. Our salesperson, Jason Murray, was professional, attentive, listened to OUR needs and didn't try to sales pitch us. I felt comfortable with him. Based on that and final price we chose Ashley Furniture. We were looking for a full size sleeper sofa, limited space wise, and they are not "IN" anymore. So trying them out is not available.Delivery is on the 14th so the process is not over for a final rating. We were told we could reject the delivery if the sofa is not "right". 🤞

Awesome Experience!

The process of purchasing a new couch for our new home went smoothly and was pretty quick. We had a great experience with the service and staff which we loved since we went in with our toddler and baby. (As any parent knows can be stressful at times.)

My husband and I had the best experience while shopping at Ashley. The sales rep (Amira) that assisted us was extremely knowledgeable, offered options and solutions, and was non pressuring. Her warm and friendly personality was amazing and made for a perfect shopping experience.

They don't do returns. I ordered a whole house of furniture from them 2 weeks ago, and I just wanted to swap a wall art for a smaller one. They told me, "We don't do returns. Once the items arrives, it's yours to keep"

Worst company ever. Bought a couch from them in July 2025. Delivery with a hole in it. They have still not fixed the couch and ever time I call to find out when they are coming out to repair the couch nobody knows what’s going on. Don’t waste your money here. Terrible company!

BEWARE!!! I will never buy anything from Ashley’s again let alone their furniture insurance. It has taken me over two months to get service. The guy came out today and was only able to fix one problem with the table because all his work order said. He told me I would have to start the process all over again. I called to see what could be done and was told I had to wait 3-5 days before they could help me. They have to wait for the service report. My kitchen table is falling apart.

Sadly we will never buy from here again. We were given the wrong chair. Trying to exchange it for the correct one was extremely difficult and we were told we would have to wait an additional day for them to make the correction ( due to us residing two hours away made this extremely difficult). We decided we just wanted to return the incorrect order and cancel the rest of order. We were provided a phone number to customer service who eventually told us we were stuck with the wrong order as all sales were final. Our exchange eventually happened but with a great expense and inconvenience to us. Customer service was horrible .

Staff was nice and helped me get a floor model bed set. I thought it was going to be a good deal for a spare bedroom until I got home and realized they didn’t assemble it correct originally. Missing hardware and some of the holes for screws were destroyed so the frame is not structurally sound. If you can’t sell a floor model in good condition, don’t sell it at all. A scratch or two would’ve been acceptable but now I am stuck with a bad bedroom set.

A Super nice very tall guy not a manager but works in Finance came over and asked if we needed help. I said Holly is helping us then I asked who’s the manager on duty, he said Zac and asked if I would like to speak to him. I said sure when he went over to tell him I wanted to speak with him he pulled him around the corner out of site and said something to him and never came to speak to me. I’m extremely unhappy with the experience I’ve had with this company. Last Saturday July 5, 2025 I went to have an exchange done using the mattress guarantee program. I was unhappy with the mattress I initially purchased. The power had just went out 10 minutes before I arrived so they were unable to submit the exchange in the system. That day the mattress was on sale but today I was told the sale is over and I couldn’t get the sales price. It wasn’t my fault the power was out each visit to this location is a hour drive from my house. My first visit the rep was friendly and eager to make a sale but now that I’m not happy with the purchase she seemed annoyed.

Tim and Zachary were very friendly and helpful. Be sure to shop during sales and take advantage of financing options.

⭐️Six Months Later… Still Waiting We left the store in January 2025 really excited. The guy who helped us seemed great! We were buying two bedroom sets, a really expensive mattress, and an adjustable frame, so of course he was happy to help. He told us everything would come in two deliveries—one within the week, and the rest two weeks later. A week and a half later, we get a text to schedule the first delivery—awesome. The mattress and frame arrived, so we figured the rest was coming soon, like he said. Three and a half weeks later, our daughter’s bed finally gets delivered. The salesman told us it would be assembled during delivery—nope. The delivery guys said they just drop it off and leave. Next, I get a call: “Because the bed frame is back-ordered until APRIL, do you want us to hold the nightstands so they arrive on the same date, or split the order?” That was the first time anyone mentioned a back-order! The woman on the phone even apologized, saying the salesperson should have told us on day one. We were given a new delivery date: ➡️ May 3 — got pushed to ➡️ May 31 — then again to ➡️ June 27 (because the rails for the bed were still back-ordered until June 20) And when they finally show up… he had ordered the wrong bed. It’s now the end of June—six months later—and we’re STILL waiting on furniture we paid for in January. Are we buying anything from Ashley again? Absolutely not. We really wanted this to be a good experience. We even gave them a chance despite hearing some not-so-great things. Turns out, all of it was true.

Andrew was so supportive and patient with finding a recliner to best meet my mother-in-law’s needs.

Let's start with the positive: the furniture was delivered in showroom condition. I have been a loyal Ashley Furniture customer for 30 years. This was my first experience with the College Station store, and the last. Holly - the sales person I regrettably dealt with told me "the mattress pad is included with the mattress but is not in stock." When I went to pick up this "included" mattress pad, I find out it was not included. It was a $200 mattress pad that was of less quality than a $40 mattress pad found at the local Walmart. When we totaled up the order, it was about $1000 high. So when I asked for an explanation, Holly said it was the "standard warranty that is included." I told her I did not want an extended warranty, she argued it was standard and I had to accept it. I told her this was not my first rodeo and it is not standard. She pushed back two more times before finally deleting the extended warranty from the order. Holly provided me her cell phone number, yet was not responsive. The only reason I gave two stars is because the delivery was nearly flawless. Other than that, I give Holly a zero - and I give her manager a zero for tolerating shady sales behavior. And it is not the $1000 that pisses me off - it is the $200 mattress pad that she insisted came with the mattress we purchased.

When we first arrived at Ashley furniture, we thought they were absolutely amazing. UNTIL we received our item. We were financed through ACIMA 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Our sales representative lead us under the impression that there was 0% APR to be financed through them untrue. Literally almost double with the item cost. And then we were led to believe if we took the extended coverage warranty through Ashley furniture we did not need to take the extended warranty offered through ACIMA no need in two coverages partially untrue. If you don’t take their insurance, you will only be charged $10 a month for a liability damage waiver even with extended coverage for your item. They will LIE to you just to make a sell

They fail to keep a time line on delivery of ordered sofa. They have called to schedule twice only to call to say it was damaged in transit on first contact, then after 3 weeks called to schedule delivery upon they called the day before to inform that they didn't receive it and couldn't give a new delivery date.

Purchased a microfiber sofa from them loved it from the start but as time went on (11 months later) the couch arm rest have broken inside on the foundation one side has sagged more than 6 inches than when it was brand new I understand they sag and break in after a while but this is ridiculous, in the process of making a claim however the 1-800 number is impossible for someone to get ahold of so I went in to make a claim in person and it’s been like over a month and no updates, absolute terrible service experience, they constantly reassure you something is being done, finally got someone on the line from their service department and come to find out there was never a claim submitted!!! Be cautious buying furniture from them!

I am a regular at Ashley Furniture. I enjoy being able to shop and look without being followed and harassed. The staff greet you at the entrance door and Morris is my go to. He’s very efficient and thorough.

They have turned the delivery system totally over to AI run computers THAT DON'T WORK. The salesperson and even the store manager told me they have no control over delivery and no authority to step in and sort out any issues. The computers are in total control. If you're lacking a lot of frustration in your life, then this is the store for you.

I love the furniture there and have bought lots of stuff. The salesman that helped us was only interested in selling us a very expensive bed. I felt pressured until I told him we weren’t interested . We knew what we wanted when we got there and a new bed for us was not it.

Absolutely the best experience ever!

Kierstyn was pleasant, professional, patient, understanding, gave us the time and space we needed, but checked on us randomly. She was not pushy (reason why my husband hesitates to go shopping). She seemed to be very knowledgeable of the products. She was very helpful and stayed with us through the entire process of the purchase and to make sure all went well. Checked up or updated us on delivery information. I have to admit the delivery was a little disappointing the date kept being pushed back and the automated system seemed a bit confused. I am pleased with our purchase.

Tired to get it scheduled for the afternoon on a Tuesday and the person who originally made the order scheduled me for the morning. Upon attempts to reschedule, the automated system told me that they would call me within 24 hours to reschedule. This phone call never happened. I recieved another message over 48 hours later that they scheduled delivery for the next day in the morning. Another time that I told them no one would be available. Upon attempting to call them myself to reschedule I discovered that their entire system is automated and there is no possibility of speaking to a person. I canceled the order and was able to purchase the same product from another company for over 1000 dollars less. Poor customer service and for the high price point it's completely ridiculous. Just go somewhere you can actually talk to a human being over the phone. The phone number that they keep replying with is just another automated line. Once you buy something from them, you'll never talk to an actual person again.

Very professional young lady greeted me as soon as I walked in. No push to look at anything other than I asked to see. We arrived at a choice and solution for my approaching surgery. I needed a firm but fashionable chair. ASAP Rehab required a chair I could use for support but comfort and of course I wanted it to match my new room. She ordered one and I’ll pick up one tomorrow. They had two for floor displays and the Manager agreed to let me take one. My second chair arrives in a couple weeks! It was what I hope is the perfect chair or pair of beautiful chairs for our new home! Kirsten was definitely a great help!

Furniture was delivered today- delivery was suppose to be 12:30-3:00. I received a text at 11:48 that they would deliver in 45 minutes. Then I received 5 different texts with delivery time changes. The last one was 2:00 pm. Then it changed to 1:39. They arrived at 1:45. They left the plastic they removed from the mattress on the floor in the bedroom.

They will constantly lie to you about the delivery dates, making you miss work days waiting for a delivery that will never arrive. Every time they promise a new delivery date they will delay and delay it with no explanation. I purchased my furniture over a month ago and it STILL has not been delivered!! Do not purchase anything from here that requires delivery, it is atrocious. Cannot warn against this place enough.

When I first walked into Ashley, I was walking around and looking for a new mattress. Just browsing with no intent to purchase anything. I’ve been having back trouble for over four years now and my mattresses haven’t been very helpful in that situation. When EJ came up to me and helped me today, we settled on literally the best mattress I could’ve possibly bought. He heard my concerns and validated them and it is very budget friendly as well. I ended up walking out of there with my dream mattress and it’s only a matter of time before I’m getting better sleep! Definitely recommend if you’re shopping for mattresses talk to their sleep specialist EJ.

The delivery part of my purchase was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. It took 3 different days for my furniture to be delivered.

We shopped for our living, dining, and bedrooms. We love the variety of options they have. EJ (our sale representative) helped us big time and made sure we got everything we need!

All of their staff were polite and they made the store a positive environment. We were personally helped by one of the workers Tim and he was phenomenal, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. He helped us find a scratch and stain resistant couch that would be durable to maintain our dogs. 10 out of 10!

After three times of not delivering the chair. I had to call the manager in college Station to try and figure out why my mother-in-law‘s chair was not being delivered. At the time of her purchase, she gave them her house, phone number and address. She didn’t have an email address or a cell phone number. When I called to find out why the chair is not being delivered it was because she was not confirming through her email or a text. They knew she did not have this. I had to change it to my number in order to finally have it delivered.

We went in to fully supply our daughter’s new apartment she’s getting ready to move into in downtown Houston. Amaria ( hope I spelled her name correctly) was a life saver! I had my ideas, daughter and dad with check book his! When we left we had all we came for, and a delivery and set up date set! What a pleasant and easy shopping experience!! Good prices on great products but buyer beware. The couch I bought I could have gotten at Ashley store and chosen the color for $100 less and it wouldn’t have had the rip in the fabric (which I had found).

We had the best experience ever! Our salesman Tim Fisher was the best! He was the most polite, kind and respectful young man! He was very patient with us as we went back and forth between 3 or 4 sets of bedroom furniture trying to decide which one we wanted. He answered all the questions we had and was never pushy in any way at all! Then he worked with us so well with the financing part! He told us all our options! We fill he was very honest about everything we asked him about! Any furniture we get in the future will be at Ashley’s and we will be asking for Tim every time!! Great experience!! My family and I went into Ashley’s hoping to find furniture for our new home. We left behind disappointed. Our sales person kind of looked down at us like we didn’t belong in the store. So, right in the middle of looking for furniture we left the store.

My dad bought me a sofa and recliner from Ashely Furniture in College Station, Texas. Our salesperson was Tim Fisher and he was absolutely wonderful and worked really hard to bring everything under our budget and to get my parents the best possible deal! Our couch was delivered by 2 guys who were super courteous and they made lifting our gigantic couch and recliner look like a breeze! It’s been almost 30 years since my husband and I have had a REAL new couch— they’ve always been thrift store buys or given from family. But the couch is beautiful and built to last, and so is the recliner :) I hope they survive my 2 dogs and 4 cats and the grandbabies I have coming this year! I’m so satisfied with the customer service I received from Ashley Furniture and our salesperson Tim, as well as the workmanship on our sofa and recliner. The delivery to the house hands down was worth it! Great experience!

I normally have a horrible experience dealing with sales people. However today we had the most amazing sales person named Kaylee. She was kind, patient & helped us find exactly what we wanted. She was not overly pushy, suffocating & helped us by talking to our kids while my husband & I spoke about what our decision would be. We visited this store months ago & did not end up purchasing anything because the sales person was so pushy. I'm so glad today was a better experience. So if you go visit this location & need a respectful sales person who will make sure you are taken care of, ask for Kaylee.

Tried to purchase the product on line. Web site product was only available on line. The web site would not let me complete the complete the order. Drove The hour to the store to find out they had in stock at the store. Unfortunately I had to pay for delivery instead driving 3 hours back and forth to pick up Sales person Zachary was very helpful and polite.
