Our sales person Toby was awesome. He knew what he was doing. He was able to answer all our questions quickly and easily. We had looked at other companies for what we wanted and they were not able to answer most of our questions leaving so much unknown. Dealing with Toby it was a no brainer that we would be buying our furniture at Ashley. We also were able to get a better quality set at a more reasonable price then the other companies.

My salesperson was Muhammad kamran.He was very polite and patient.very knowledgeable about the mattress he totally convinced me to purchase..The visit to the store was very Pleasant. The atmosphere was nice.The store was very clean and organized.All the associate was very nice and greeted Me when I entered the store.
Well we started looking in the 1st week of March, I was out of town so my wife picked out dining room table and chair set we both liked. After a few weeks we finally got a delivery date for the following week. The table & chairs were delivered same time our beds and tv's were so she didn't have time to inspect it, the crew just left. It was damaged with cracks across table! Got the run around about get a replacement. Had to file a warrenty claim and deal with another department! After several more weeks, a delivery every other week( which she rejected for the same reason) final picked a different table set and outdoor furniture- once you sign original order they refuse to cancel a d you HAVE to buy from them! Won't ever use them again! Buyers be ware!!

Not a great experience overall, second time this year Ashley Furniture has let us down. This time the salesperson promised the item was available and would be shipped on a specific date. Later notified that it would come several weeks later. This same thing happened with some other furniture we bought in January(sent the wrong item and then after a long time, we got the right items)

We search numerous furniture stores over a weeks time, looking for a new set of patio furniture. Our first stop was Ashley’s where we were greeted by Haseed. After that week long search we returned to Ashley’s and Haseed and purchased a new set. He worked hard to get us what we wanted at a price we could afford. Great job Hassed!
We’ve bought furniture from Ashley yearly for 10 years. The experience is always great. But something about this made it our best experience yet. Mr. Kamran was the best Ashley salesman in 10 years.

The best experience!! I found what I wanted and Sam, she was my salesperson. She was great. She made my shopping more pleasant. She listened to what I wanted and was patient , not pushy. Even the assistant manager was very helpful and i found more items with a good deal . Really took care of me and everyone was friendly! Overall great experience.
I would not recommend going to the Conroe location. They were very pushy and rude. We had found some furniture we liked online and wanted to see it in person. We didn't find it there so we started to leave and my husband was about to walk out the door first and one of the guys that worked there said have a good day and I went to turn around and said you too but before I could he shouted "What's wrong you can't talk?" My husband didnt hear him say have a good day because he is deaf in one ear. Very rude and poor customer service. Supposedly his name is Jason. We were the only customers in the store and now I can see why. So I would avoid going there.
Spent over 12 hours searching for just the right couch and just the right kitchen table at seven different furniture stores. Came in to Ashley and two hours later, with no pressure, just help and guidance, walked out with both the right couch and the right table. Great store great manager

These people do terrible business. Totally ruined my moving to Tx experience. Not telling the truth about who they finance through. Sent a letter about “Ashley Credit Card” but its really a 3rd party loan shark. Lol Salesman Toby or Tobi COMPLETELY SCAMMED US! I dont like trashing businesses because thats not my style but this is ridiculous. Our furniture also came damaged, made a request for repair or switch and nothing happened. Made a Visit in person and they LIED to our face. This is NOT business! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. The nice people ACT has played you all. These are not good people or a worthy store. Parking lot is a ghost town and Now I see why. Calling the references listed on the application. This is sad honestly. Theres alot of legal codes that were broken in this process and now as a law student they started a issue. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE. Unless you are buying full price upfront YOU WILL HAVE A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Also READ THE CONTRACTS. DONT LET THEM BUTTER YOU INTO SIGNING. Giving my information to a 3rd party under YOUR BUSINESS NAME is a business violation… So I hope you all that read this UNDERSTAND. This is Unacceptable and Im not letting this go. Do not go to this Ashley Furniture Store in Conroe, Texas. Their salesman are dishonest and will give you the runaround. They pretend they are helping you with a problem with your order and when you call back several times or go visit them they pretend they are contacting the manager who they say approved an exchange. Don't go to these crooks. Asad Abassi (Sunny) and Kamran Muhammad are the two liars that represent Ashley Furniture in Conroe. They act like they will help you. They say "I filed a report", this will be resolved tomorrow I'm texting the manager now", several times. It's not just the two of them it's their corporate office also that are also part of the dishonest culture. Don't support people that will lie to you, but also lie to others. Go to another furniture store and spend your money. When you see no cars in the parking lot of a store like theirs, turn around and go somewhere else.
TOBY TRAHAN is a liar Canceled my $3600 order because I was lied to I was guaranteed a delivery date by my salesman, which was four weeks from the date I ordered only to find out. I have to wait another month and a half. After canceling my order, I won't get my $3600 back for another 7 to 10 days yet I'm moving in in two days.

They were very helpful in helping me see the choices, materials that I wanted to look at for new living room furniture, and I spent some time there. I never felt rushed and Sam took good care of me along with Arfeen who helped explain all the options for financing and made sure I got a great deal. Really enjoyed my time there and I hate shopping! Karam our salesman was very helpful. He would go and get several chairs so we could compare them side by side. This helped us to make a good decision. In looking for a power recliner he showed us several options and showed us how they worked. The only thing he didn’t show us was that the chairs have levelers on the front chair legs for the dining room chairs we purchased

UPDATE! Wcould not return item. We finally did exchange. But the new item has uneven drawers. That being said, we will keep it because it is easier than dealing with their "customer service". What a joke. NOTICE THE PARKING LOT IS EMPTY!!! THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT!!!! BEWARE! They DO NOT accept RETURNS. They do not adhere to the Ashley RETURN POLICY. Each store has its own policy. Even if your item DOES NOT MATCH the item you picked out in store. It will not say that on your receipt either. As a matter of fact, you can not return items at all. Even though they say you can, in fact, you can not. No phone number they give you will do so either. So if you receive the item, no matter what you paid for, and it does not match, you CAN NOT RETURN IT!! NOTICE THE PARKING LOT IS EMPTY!!! THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT!!!

Sales people were very nice, had a great selection. Everything went smooth, until we started talking about delivery. They have a 2 to 3 week waiting. Period to get deliveries, totally unacceptable in the industry. as the competitor states you’re sitting on a back, back, back, order slip.

Delivery driver blamed store and store blamed delivery driver. Fact of the matter is, driver and store both had a list of items to be loaded up and neither of them made sure it was all there. Still waiting on the rest of my furniture. At least, everyone has been super nice through all this and are all working to make sure I get my items.

I was looking for a certain barstool that would match what we already had, and found them at the Ashley store. These barstools were currently a discontinued item, but Kameron located them for us and we ordered them and picked them up from the warehouse the same day. I'm planning on assembling them soon, and sure they will be the same quality as the others we have. Good quality, decent prices and friendly service. Ashley is the worst furniture store ever. I will not buy anything else from them. I paid $2000 for dining room set and it arrived damaged. I was told I couldn’t exchange it but to file a warranty claim and a technician would come out. Well the technician came out today and spray painted the chair black as you can see in the pic. After that the tech said he would need to order the parts and change out the seat of the chair. Instead of exchanging $173 chair they rather send a technician out twice and build a chair. Called customer service and was told nothing they can do unless the technician says it can’t be repaired. This is ridiculous. Please don’t purchase anything from Ashley.

STAY AWAY!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! Posted one star because can’t post zero. They lie and misinform you to get you to sign for the furniture. Kelly our sales associate told us that if Once delivered we were not happy to not sign and they would take it back. The delivery guys bullied my wife to sign the papers and now they have a no return policy. Buyers beware!!! STAY AWAY I now have to hire a lawyer to take these thieves to court to try to get my money back and get their furniture out of my house. Please avoid yourself the headache and get your furniture elsewhere.

I really can't begin to say why this experience wasn't great at all due to so many mistakes. Waiting on the things I order for 3 months and they were in stocks. The salesperson didn't get the order correct the first time so I had to reorder the item and pay out of pocket. Next the delivery of an item had damages, smudges all over the chest drawer, like it had been sitting somewhere for months. I was promised compensation on that and it never happened . Second attempt on chess drawer was worst than the 1st one. Third delivery I just keep it looked a little better than the first one with the delivery of my head and foot board I had been waiting on for 3 months. Never ever will I buy from AFS again. Then you ask me to give you a rating, oh no you really don't. Bottom line they suck as a furniture store

Horrible customer service. Purchased living room furniture and received more info and status from automated texting system than salesperson, Karina. She does not answer or return calls. She says one thing and does another. I cancelled my order in person with Karina and had to call Customer Support the next day to insure my 2800.00 order was cancelled. She did not cancel. I cancelled bc 1/3 of my order was was being delivered in December. She is dishonest by making up stories…. Furniture truck was stolen with my order. How come customer support did not know this? I will never shop In Ashley Conroe location. Go to a different store!! Horrible experience!
So my wife and I went in there and purchased a bed and sectional couch. We dealt with Kamren, (sorry if I spelt your name wrong), and he was AMAZING. We got home and decided to change our order and remove the bed, he handled it well. Then I called back to tell him we wanted it after all and he STILL handled it well. He was very interactive with our 4 month old and made us feel comfortable while in the store. Thanks Kamren (sorry if I still spelt your name wrong) and Ashley’s.

Horrible company full of liars!!! Went in store and was told item was exchangeable if it didn't fit. A clear lie because it didn't fit and delivery men said it wasn't possible. Called and talked to rep and they said I couldn't. Tried emailing and still nothing. Scamming people to buy your products for overpriced trash furniture is a great way to make a business. I have a card with this place and I'm cancelling the moment it's paid off

I never go out of my way to leave bad reviews for a business but I feel like I have no choice since I don’t know any other way to get the attention of someone in charge of this store. We are beyond frustrated with this store and the way they do things! Bought a chaise sleeper sofa a few weeks ago. Won’t name anyone specifically but the sales rep quoted us $719 for the sleeper sofa that was on the show room floor. We obviously thought it was a great deal and decided to purchase it and have it delivered. Told the sales rep we wanted the set up exactly the same as it was at the store. Fast forward two days later… only HALF of the couch was delivered?!?! And not only that, it was the wrong set up and not the way they had it at the store. We call to see if they can make ot right and send us the sofa we had ordered and paid for and to no surprise they couldn’t fix their mistake. We were told we would have to pay for the other half of the couch and that it would have to also go through the refund process since we were sending back the couch that was ordered incorrectly by THEIR EMPLOYEE. We told them we aren’t paying extra and to give us the refund and pick up the couch. We are now going on 3 weeks.. no refund and no one has picked up the couch. Literally have called almost every day and have to re-explain the issue to every person we talk to and they usually will tell us someone will call us back (they never do) or tell us to be patient and they will let us know when they hear back from whoever is in charge of the refunds??? Such a disappointment and will never do business with this store again. No wonder the parking lot is completely empty every time I have driven by or gone up there.
Terrible service. We went in twice parking lot completely empty. Told us come in we will match online price. Get there and they are no where close to the online price. Sales person says well that’s all we can do. You said you could math the price get the manager. She says that’s all he is going to do. I said get him. She gets mad walks away and disappears. We wait a few minutes and my husband says let’s go. They call us where’d you go. Told manager what she said. He said we can match it exactly but we are close. Needless to say we went to Americas Furniture Warehouse Erin was very helpful showed us same furniture for a fraction of what Ashley was trying to charge. Cannot wait to get my new furniture from AFW. Call or go in to Americas Furniture Warehouse in Conroe/Woodlands and Ask for Erin she is awesome!

My family and I were well taken care of at the Ashley store. The manager greeted us and his team helped us along the way as well to choose our new furniture. Once we found what we wanted the process was seamless and we were given water and offered options on our purchase to fit our family’s needs. We will be back in the future.

Bought a patio furniture set and a bed with the delivery date of September 14th then they called stating that it would be several weeks later because the bed was on back order and some pieces of the patio furniture was on back order too. Called the store and spoke to Gavin the store manager and he hung up on me without trying to help me. Don’t shop here, they will lie to you and mislead you on everything. Very poor excuse for a business. .

Electric solo theater recliner ( w blue lighting features) stopped working after a puff of smoke and 1 year of use. Ashley recalled a defective electronic item within the recliner, they called me and set up a time to repair .. I waited and waited and ....... waited .A Saturday sadly wasted.. NO call from Ashley as of yet. THIS item was my first and last piece of Ashley furniture I will EVER purchase, no thank you.

We just bought a home and we’re getting all of our furniture together! We came to Ashley for dining room chairs only (we purchased our other furniture at American furniture) the sales man was extremely rude, arrogant and simply just too much. We told him we were just there for chairs and of course he wouldn’t stop pushing anything & everything else on us. When my wife mentioned we purchased everything else at American furniture he decided to bash their business and their furniture. It was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. This place isn’t budget friendly so I would think their employees would be a lot more welcoming and professional.
10/20/2023 - After sending a text to the number listed the exchange for the correct bar stools was immediately initiated. I was very happy to get the right ones. For some reason the store folks have little recourse in returns, always send a text to the number listed in the reviews. I sent a text message, we are pending 9/6/23 for the exchange. I need to edit my review; My order was not fulfilled properly; I received the wrong bar stools. I called them immediately once I realized and asked for an exchange, and now, I cant get the correct bar stools. I'm extremely disappointed that Ashley Furniture is not providing an EXCHANGE FOR THE CORRECT bar stools, I'm not even asking for a refund. Now I have 3 bar stools that I can't use that I'm paying for. I would appreciate if someone from Ashley could provide a number to someone who can get me the right bar stools. My experience with Ashley Furniture Conroe was a 6 out of 5 stars. They went to great lengths to help me and were very responsive to my questions. I got high quality furniture at a great price and experienced amazing customer service. The delivery was also fantastic and the guys who put it together were fast and professional. It was a awesome from start to finish.

Very disorganized, lack of information from agent, several interruptions on the phone by a female agent regarding other matters, felt like I was talking to a teenager w/no kniwledge of the business, I ended up telling the agent I could not deal with these issues and hung up. This is the second time I have tried to order - the first time got an on line agency who informed me I could not order from a store and this agent a well was poorly trained and I did not order from her
Kamran was an amazing salesman….we walked in, he introduced himself and left us alone…came back after 15 mins and asked if we had any questions. By then we did and he answered every question we had. Horrible!!!!! My husband and I purchased living room furniture on 7/8/2023. The furniture was delivered to our home on 7/13/2023 with the couch broken and the motor on the loveseat not working properly. I called customer service and the Conroe store reported the problem and state of our furniture. As of 7/25/2023 we are still waiting to hear from Ashley’s service team regarding work order 915A744605. After this issue is resolved I will never shop Ashley’s furniture nor recommend any of your stores !!! Very disappointed and dissatisfied customers ‼️

I'm giving Ashley Furniture, Conroe TX 3 stars, mediocre. I do so because our purchase experience was "good" A patient new salesperson, (difficult to find employees for many employers right now, I get that)helped us right away as we entered the store We made our picks, new salesperson asked a couple questions in search of help from the store manager, Brandon. Order placed, on our way, as promised furniture showed up in a few days. Then problems began. A chair that we ordered was keyed in by the new salesperson (it happens) and the wrong color chair showed up on the delivery truck. Did NOT accept delivery of wrong color, had them take it back with them. I then contacted the store manager, Brandon. He explained to me once the store turns in the sales order they lose all control to Ashley Corporate Logistics. Once the order is transmitted, which interesting enough all processes changed to be "new and improved" during COVID and the stores literally have no more input to the orders...what? why? that's were the personal contact was...why now remove them??? Makes NO sense... To summarize, Brandon (Store Manager) went above and beyond helping me fight, yes literally fight with Ashley Corporate Logistics even giving me internal methodology to question their delays and excuses. I did receive the proper color chair within a few days (amazingly, but I was quite persistent). We are so far happy with the furniture we purchased, fingers crossed it wears well. As far as Brandon, manager at the Conroe store, this post is past due and my apologies as this all happened in May '23. A thumbs up and well done on his excellent customer service. He could have easily just pushed me off, but continued to help right up until I received my furniture and even gave me a credit for my inconvenience. To for Ashley Furniture Corporate Logistics, YOUR LOGISTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE METHODS ARE UTTERLY HORRIBLE, they need to undergo a thorough audit and update, Covid requirements are over. Get back to the basics and DO customer service better. UPDATE: Received response back from owner and as there is no way to for me to respond back, have updated here. I do not appreciate the canned response. If it is an attempt to look to others reading reviews to decide to do business or not, it is a poor attempt. I have no intentions of contacting Ashley Corporate Marketing to look into this issue any further. It has been resolved by my sheer persistence and the help of the Conroe Store Manager, Brandon. My suggestion, if you truly want to help with this issue further that you thank in a measurable way, the Conroe Store Manager, Brandon and review your corporate delivery methods. (for example, do you deliver everyday? do you ONLY send out deliveries if there is a full truck, regardless of when promised? do you have a delivery truck that could quickly remedy incorrect items the next day? As I said before, DO CUSTOMER SERVICE BETTER!!

Will NOT ever go there again and most definitely will NOT purchase from them. The quality of their furniture is inexcusable. A few years ago, we bought a formal contemporary dining set and a chair broke on my father on the third time we used it - NOT covered by warranty. My son ran into a chair and it broke - NOT covered by the EXTRA warranty that we paid for. Ended up throwing away ALL of the chairs because they were so poorly made and we were fearful of our guests safety. Fast Forward to Thursday, June 22, 2023 - thought I would look there - I believe in 2nd chances. NOPE!!! NEVER AGAIN! The Delivery fee for Ashley was OVER THREE times that of America's Best, and Ashley did NOT EVEN DELIVER ON THE DAY IT WAS PROMISED!!! It was a huge effort just to get Ashley to deliver our furniture to our house, and we had nothing in our living room for our guests because they failed to deliver on the date as promised. Incredibly disappointed.

Although they have beautiful furniture I'd encourage you to take your business elsewhere. Staffs helpfulness doesn't go beyond them trying to make a sale. Once the sale is made they become dismissive and unconcerned about any concerns or issues you may have. They also do a horrible job informing you about delays or letting you know when furniture will be delivered. Beware!!!

ABSOLUTELY WORST BUY! Went in store & purchased furniture to furnish my whole house. Two living room sets, four bedroom sets. They assured it would all be delivered together. It was delivered in three separate deliveries, days apart. The mattresses did not arrive the same day as the bed frames. Kept it together & just figured there was a mistake somewhere, it happens. The last delivery came, my sons bunk bed, they unboxed everything, NO SCREWS to assemble the bed. Delivery drivers submitted a ticket to the warehouse and said it would take 10 days for us to receive those parts & for someone to come out to assemble it & they would keep us updated. 10+ days pass, we hear nothing. We call over & over with no answer. Finally after 2 weeks, we made a trip back up to the store to figure out what was going on. They had no idea what was going on. No ticket had been submitted but they see where the delivery drivers reported the bed came with no screws. They apologized, submitted a new ticket & was told we would hear from someone within 24-48 hours. Didn’t receive any type of response from them for another week & a half. Called, nothing. Make a trip back up to the store, only to be told there system has been down for 2 weeks & they apologize, the manager would give us a call. No call. We then go back up to the store for a third time & they gave us screws but only half of them. How am i suppose to assemble the bed with only half of what i need? Not only that but we paid to have the bed delivered, assembled so why do we have to assemble it ourselves for their mistake? Don’t call this store, you will waste your time. I would recommend you not even wasting your time, money or energy on this place. They clearly could care less about you after you leave that store & drop thousands of dollars. RIDICULOUS & worst customer service i’ve ever experienced in my life. Thanks to ashley furniture my sons been sleeping on the floor over a month going on two. GO SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE WHERE YOU ARE VALUED!

Horrible service. I ordered a sofa and love seat 06/16/2023 and went by the store on 06/17/23 to cancel. I waited over 45 minutes in the store for a cancellation invoice. The sales rep just kept trying to get me to buy something else. Finally, he claimed that his manager will cancel the order. Well, I left the store and didn’t even get an invoice cause it told it would be emailed to me. I called the guest service number multiple times for assistance. One time the rep informed me that the order will be canceled. I call back to ensure the cancellation and the same rep told me. a store order can’t be cancelled over the phone. Okay, why did she lie to me at first? I don’t know. At this point I was starting to get really upset. I called the store back and they claim their system was down and has been down for about a week. How are you able to take orders , but not able to cancel orders. I start calling around to different Ashley Furniture Stores and no one was able to help me. Apparently, this store in Conroe is a franchise. One rep at another store told me that they were known to do this to customers so they won’t lose a sale. This is ridiculous and this store shouldn’t be allowed to represent Ashley Furniture. They have given the company a bad name, because I will never step foot in another Ashley store. I have not yet to receive a email about my cancellation .

The people are great, from the sales to the warehouse workers. What I had an issue with, was my bed head board. On leg was missing the slot to insert the side rail. We're is your quality control? How can this happen? Now I have to wait 14 more days to get the replacement part... instead of just letting me take the headboard back to the warehouse and get it replacement....

Horrible experience! We bought some bar stools and we were told by the sales associate that we could return them if they didn’t work. Not even 24 hours later we took them back. Manager said no returns or exchanges. So they lied to us and now we’re stuck with furniture that doesn’t fit in our bar.

I would never do business with Ashley furniture again, unless I am willing to risk several thousands of dollars from being stolen. We purchased a sectional from this location from Nate Morand and the sales manager. I explained to them both that I may need to cancel the order if the sizing of the furniture was off. I confirmed four times that the order was fully refundable without any fees, loops or hidden schemes. As I suspected, the sectional was too large but I assumed it was an easy cancelation and refund. Ashley’s cancelation policy is simple but not when this location is taken into account. The order was meant to be cancelled on Tuesday, Nate said we would see the refund in 24-48 business hours. The days went by and nothing, I was reassured multiple times in writing that the refund was issued by the manager. Finally, I called Ashley’s customer service, after radio silence from Nate, and was informed the order was still active. I came into the store and was told that the order was never canceled by Nate. I do remember that Nate mentioned that they had lost a big sale the day we purchased therefore I do not know if they kept our order active only to meet quota. Nonetheless, we were issued a refund but I would never recommend this location.

Salesman met us at the door and asked how can he help us. I told him I was looking for a lift chair, he told us the chairs were in the back of the showroom. I said people with handicaps have to walk a long distance. He then said you’re right I’ll be right back I need to tell my store manager what you said. She listened to the salesman what I said and agreed the lift chairs should be in front. A sales manager came over to assist the salesman both where extremely helpful making sure we got what we needed. The store manager was very accommodating to our needs. All of the staff were friendly, informative and able to assist us! The manager stated they will be moving the lift chairs closer to the front of the store. Excellent customer service!

What an awful experience and what awful quality from the products sold at Ashley. I bought this rustic style table set for my brand new home a little over a year ago and it's stayed in the same place for that time and today while doing some tile work I bumped into it slightly and the leg cracked in half(as seen in photos). Make sure to buy things elsewhere and avoid Ashley for all future furniture purchases. I paid good money for a quality product not for something that would split open from a slight bump. Also the delivery took a ridiculous amount of time and some of the products that I was promised would be delivered in a week went 2 months without delivery until I finally cancelled the order.

Wish I could give zero stars. Just spend the extra money and get quality furniture elsewhere. The salesmen and assistants at the store were super nice and helpful, but everything else was awful. Paid $300 for professional assembly, and the delivery crew damaged my furniture! The table and a chair are also damaged, and the store crew is trying to help but struggling to get corporate to agree to replace them. Don't waste your money here!

I have done a lot of business with Ashley in the past and I must say, it will be the last time. My furniture took over 3 months to get to my home. They rescheduled 4 times. But that is only part of it. I received a rug that my wife and I liked. When we opened it up, it was the wrong rug. We returned the rug and requested a refund because it was the only rug they had and the one we wanted could not be found. Well, we are still waiting for our refund 2 months later.
This has not been a pleasant experience personally. Everything was supposed to be delivered a week after I bought the bedroom set and mattress. Finally got the mattress to come in a month after the fact. Only to ask where the bedset was. Found out it was canceled. Had to go in to get it reentered, whatever. Was told it would be here the following Tuesday. Hadn't heard anything so I called to be told it wasn't gonna be here until the end of the month. I asked them to do a partial delivery so we could have some kind of furniture in our bedroom. They delivered the dressers only to find out as soon as the delivery guys left that someone had broken the long dresser and threw in 2 screws to hold it together IN THE HOPES WE WOULDNT NOTICE so we are here with a leg broken off. I'm beyond angry at this point.

Person at desktop does not know how to process a part replacement order whoever she called for instructions messed up have to wait for manager to arrive and do this transaction my neighbor in highland and I comentes about how horrible customer service Ashley furniture is.

Oh my goodness from the moment I was greeted by Nate and Carina my whole experience was seamless. They allowed me to look and just checked on me throughout my shopping experience.They gave me great information when I had questions and gave me honest feedback. I never once felt pressured. It was a really enjoyable experience. I'm looking forward to all of my new pieces of furniture. I went to other furniture stores and they did not have the protection plans that I wanted for my sleeper sofa but Ashley did. I'm super happy. I would highly recommend these two sales associates.
The sales clerk we worked with is named Morgan and she was very knowledgeable, she took her time with us and helped us find exactly what we were looking for in our new mattress. It got ordered and delivered exactly when she said it would be. We'll definitely work with her again for all our furnishing needs.

Yesterday our items were supposed to be delivered door drop off. The truck driver claims they waited at the gate for 20 plus minutes. Which I know was untrue because the time which they are claiming I came through our gate and asked the neighbors who also said they didn't see anything. I called only to be told it was our fault and they will have to try again in a week. I took off work and even gave the new woman at the Conroe location our gate code. Which she failed to place on our paperwork. I'm about to cancel my order because they sure as hell don't care about customer service. And then wanted to cuss me out because I was trying to tell them that their truck drivers lied! What kind of place is this that is ran by such disrespectful people. I would take your busy elsewhere this place doesn't deserve your money.
Love that quality and selection of the furniture here at Ashley. The sales people were great. I will definitely be back for future furniture needs.

I’ve don’t like that they delivery may take 2 to 4 weeks three to four times which means months before you get your furniture they say they have in stock

I bought a lift recliner from Ashley Furniture on 2-5 22 a month later the lift part broke. They order a part wrong part. Ordered another part called to see when it will be in a month later they said no part was ordered. My husband needed it badly.i will never buy anything from Ashley furniture again.😝

It took 16 months and nine delivery attempts before I got the furniture. The delivery service doesn’t speak English and ignore you on how and where to place the furniture. I never want to repeat this bad experience and I don’t want to wish it on anyone else!

Horrible! I was helping my frind who does not speak English. My friend got wrong size bed, that also broken. Still waiting, calling them, got lip survise and no resolution. They never call back as promised, they dragging time and lying through their teeth. Screws are stiling out, one supporting leg is broken, the size of the bed is king instead of queen. They promiseed delivery at September 3rd, then said that warehouse is closed due to labor day, then said they have same set on the floor. We agreed to get it on the 5th. But its a wrong size bed. And they just dripped it for my friend who does not spek English. Now more than 2 months later no resolution. It is just frustrating to see how unprofessional this store management is. How uncaring ...

BUYERS BEWARE!!! NATE FROM CONROE STORE IS AN ABSOLUTE LIAR. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED DELIVERY FEE THEN PROCEED TO CHARGE ME. I ASK FOR REFUND AND ITS NOTHING BUT LIES AND GAMES. THEY HE TEXT ME SAYING I WOULD BE REFUNED THE DELIVERY FEE AND TAXES THEN SUBMITS REFUND FOR ONKY THE DELIVERY FEE. IMMATURE UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS EVER AGAIN
We worked with Kandah and he was exceptionally knowledgable of both mattresses and bedroom furniture. It was a very good experience and I believe we reached a very fair price for a large package of furniture. Very good quality furniture in the store and very helpful sales staff. I will buy there again.
While the guy was helpful and took time to search for what I needed, he was barely audible that I really had to strain to hear him (my mother could not hear him at all). If the wrong product gets delivered, then it's because I couldn't hear what he was ordering for me.
I had found a bedroom suit online so we went to the Conroe store to see it. Beautiful! Karina was so helpful and it was obvious she knew the details of Ashley Furniture. We had no idea the current options on mattresses.

Salesperson was nice and attentive. The bad thing is that they lied on the furniture being in stock and shipping in 2 weeks. I recieved half my order on 7/20 and still have 2 more weeks or more for the rest of my order that was supposedly in stock and ready to ship on 6/18 when we purchased. I have been told 6 different times on delivery. I was told everything was in and would be delivered on 7/20 just to find out when delivered it was only half of my order. This has been a painful experience all around.
I will never use Ashley Furniture again The Conroe store manager tries to help but the company procedures on delivery are ridiculous. If one item in your order is not available or currently in stock the other items in your order are not held for you. Then when that item becomes available something else in the order is on back order. By the time that piece is available there is a different piece on back order. This can go on for months before every item in your order is in stock at the same time. The entire process has been a nightmare
Bought a beautiful bedroom set with mattress. To be delivered within 10 days. According to Ashley Furniture, EVERYTHING. THE DAY of delivery, an hour before, I receive a call from delivery saying that my mattress is on back- order and would be delivered 6 days later. On that 5th day I receive an automated call to "schedule" delivery, thinking it was that date I was told. Nope! Another 7 days. I went to Ashley to speak with my original sales associate and said person gave me their contact info. I followed up continually to see if we could correct the situation with NO response thus NO resolve. Moved my business to AFW new in Conroe. Same day pick up

So I ordered almost 5K in furniture in February, it was never explained to me when purchased that I would have to wait nearly 6 months to receive any part of my order. I just received word that my items are ready for delivery and it was scheduled for 7/26/22, however my delivery address has since changed. I have tried for three days to contact Ashley to update my delivery address and no one answers. I tried to chat with a live agent and no one answers, I left my number to receive a call back and no one ever called back. I held on the phone twice today, 20 minutes the first time and almost 30 the second. I don’t know what else to do. I guess the folks at my former address will be in for a surprise when the get a new living room and bed room set they didn’t order. I’m at a loss of words for how angry I am for doing business with Ashley furniture, never again!
***UPDATE*** I STILL DON'T HAVE MY PRODUCT AS OF JULY 30TH! I ORDERED ON JUNE 17TH... Damaged table and buffet table damaged as well. Also, only showed up with one of the four chairs we ordered. Had to immediately get on the phone with customer service to set up a time for someone to come out and repair the damaged items. No clue when my other chairs will actually show up. Not a great start with Ashley furniture. Hopefully they can change my mind are they respond to the justified dissatisfaction...
Please don’t get duped into going here. I bought furniture here four years ago. Spent three or $4000 on a couch. It did not hold up at all. I actually gave it away recently it was in such bad condition. And please please do not buy the furniture protection or cleaning plan. They told me four years ago if I did not use it I got the money back. Called today to get my money back and they said it would only be applied as a credit of $300. But you have to spend $500 to get it back. This is a terrible store with terrible quality furniture. Some of it looks OK but please don’t fall for it. It shows four stars but look down at the reviews. Don’t think Google is tabulating that correctly. Probably a sponsored result
Salesmen was cool , delivery service horrible , they got the wrong address , wrong times , Dow t over 3 total waiting over 5 phone calls to customer service , barely speak any English , horrible service , I wouldn’t even rate 1 star , I wouldn’t go to them , go to American instead , save yourself the headache

Would give 0 stars if I could. Our salesman was nice but wasn’t entirely truthful with delivery times. I’m starting to realize it was to make an over $7000 sale. I ordered about 10 pieces of furniture in April. I have received two pieces. One of those pieces being a table with no chairs… like who wants a table with no chairs?!? I was told to expect those chairs and another piece June 24th. It’s now July and haven’t heard anything from them so I messaged to get an update. I’m now being told September.. and to be honest I don’t even believe that date.. I understand the times but 6 months for chairs?!?! You gotta be kidding me. The managers are useless too. When we called about only receiving a table and no chairs was told by Tim that he would talk to the warehouse manager and put some urgency on it. One of the many lies they tell I see. If 6 months is his idea of urgency I’m terrified to see how long everything else will actually take. American furniture warehouse is selling Ashley’s furniture for cheaper and has better delivery times. Take my advice go there, save your time and money!!!!!
We were very pleased with the service we received from Kamran, he gave us the time we needed to make our final decision and then presented us with different options that didn’t change our budget. We were very impressed with the attention we received in regards to our sofa purchase. Thank you Kamran for making our Ashley experience a positive one.
I talked with a customer service agent. He said his name is Sergio. He didn’t solve any of my questions, he raised his voice, sounded irritated and uncomfortable with my questions. When I requested to talk with a supervisor his answer was: yes of course but it won’t change anything. He let me in hold for about 10 minutes to informed me that his supervisor was going to call me back in about 20 minutes. It never happened.
Martin was awesome! He answered every question professionally and quickly. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He gave us space to look and offered us all the discounts available at the time.
Eduardo was absolutely amazing. The manager was a doosh bag but thanks to Eduardos professionalism and awesome customer service Ashley Furniture will still get 5 stars.

Our visit to Ashley was unorganized to say the least. We purchased $4000 worth of furniture, and during our initial visit they couldn’t make the deal. They went back and forth with the manager on details and unable to agree on terms and left. We then received a text message from the salesman agreeing to our terms. When we returned to Ashley, our furniture was poorly wrapped and I requested they add wrapping so our leather sofa would not get scratched. When they brought it to our trailer, they still had not added any additional wrapping and scratched the furniture. The manager then attempted to assist the salesman with loading the trailer, but never acknowledged the poor service we received. Needless to say, we will not be returning. I hope this helps others in the market for furniture.
The store was bigger than the previous furniture stores we visited. Had a great selections and found everything we need for our new house. The floor reps were nice and Muhammad was AMAZING. He made the experience truly carefree and wonderful. What ever they're paying him, it should be more. Such a nice man and great at his job 👏

This is quite possibly the worst furniture store experience I have ever had. This is in reference to the Conroe, TX location. We ordered a living room set that had a delivery date of May 7th. I’ll spare you a long story and just tell you that we do not have the furniture we paid for at this point. The original sales person and manager we dealt with on the day of the sale are evidently no longer at the store. We were promised (again) a phone call on Monday this week with a status on our delivery and we still haven’t had a call back. We started calling again on Tuesday and have Been getting the runaround from everyone at the store, if they even answer their phone. I would not recommend this store at all. If furniture isn’t actually in stock, the sales people shouldn’t lie directly to people when asked the specific delivery date question multiple times. At this point, we have been lied to and no one at this store is showing any interest in helping us get our furniture. We have done business in the recent past with Pedigo Furniture in Livingston and it looks like we need to go back there for good honest service and actual furniture that exists. Ashley Furniture has a series of negative reviews just like mine.
The Conroe store had all the pieces that I wanted and Jalin was very helpful, listening attentively to what I wanted and showing me around. Then the manager came to take over the sale. After a second trip to the store and a bit of negotiation, I left happy.
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Salesperson was friendly and helpful but customer service is terrible! Been over 2 months trying to get an exchange and we’re being told different things every time we call. We even got a confirmation for delivery and when the day came we called only to find out that the loveseat wasn’t even in stock, wouldn’t recommend.

Jalin was the young man that helped us throughout the store. He helped us find what we were looking for and he didn't smother us so we enjoyed working with him! I really don't not understand why it took three and a half months to finally get my furniture from the time I had ordered. We were without a bedroom for over three months before we got our final delivery. We will find a different store for the rest of our household furnishings.

The manager blew me away by helping me out when I couldn’t qualify for credit. The couch I wanted was probably out of our budget but he knew how bad I needed and wanted this particular one. I had most of the cash to buy it so he went ahead and gave me the couch for how much money I had with me. You don’t find people like him anymore in this rat race of a world. Money means everything and peoples needs come second always. Today showed me that there are still nice, caring and great people in the world. His name is Sonny I think. He will help you if he can so give him a chance. Thank you so much Ashley furniture! You rock!!
We went into Ashley Furniture on March 27th wanting to purchase couches and a recliner. We found two love seats and a recliner that we liked, but my husband wanted to make sure that we would get them delivered in the near future and that they would not be back ordered. We were told all items would be delivered on April 16 and that nothing was on back order. Flash forward to April 15th, my husband got a confirmation email and text saying that the delivery would be made the next day in a 3 hour window. It also gave specific instructions to move all furniture out of the way, and clear a pathway. We then moved our old couch a recliner out of the house and took them to Goodwill for donation. On April 16th delivery day, we sat around (in lawn chairs) and waited for our new furniture. The window for delivery came and went. We then called Ashley Furniture to ask why we didn’t have our new furniture and they told us that the delivery truck didn’t pick up our furniture that morning and we should have gotten a text 2 days prior to delivery saying that delivery would be delayed. Well, my husband explained that wouldn’t have been possible because our order was only confirmed the day prior. We were then told that the furniture would be delivered in 4-5 days…My husband called customer service today to confirm that we would get our furniture on the new day given, and was told we wouldn’t get it until SEPTEMBER!!! After talking to them, he contacted the sales person we purchased through and told her that if we didn’t get our furniture this week, we were canceling our order. She told us she could get our two love seats this week, but we would need to pick a different recliner if we wanted that in time. We picked a new recliner, but checked the price she gave us online and realized that online it was almost 200 dollars cheaper than what she told us. After pointing this out, getting the price fixed, and agreeing to the new recliner, my husband confirmed the delivery date and she then told us that it would be ANOTHER WEEK before anything could be delivered. At this point we just told her we wanted a refund on everything and to cancel our whole order. The lack of professionalism, accountability, or general concern for their customers is astonishing. We will NEVER shop at Ashley Furniture again.

Lack of empathy and customer service I was told one of items would be delivered on 4/14 and received text on 4/12 to choose date and then stated I would be contacted with in 48 hours with a 3 hour window or I could call and schedule. Now I am being told over the phone call I initiated that it’s on back order. No emails no texts no phone calls. My first time purchasing is not turning into a positive experience. Sales rep in Conroe, Tx Eduardo was great. I am a Customer Service manager for a large company and I can tell you that I’m sorry is not empathy. Nothing offered to appease the customer just well here it is we can give you the product until it’s in stock. Well how am I supposed to know this? Where is the notifications? I’m thinking I may pay off and never shop here again. Just totally let down.
Conroe TX folks just didn't listen to our needs and interrupted us several times. Also, the times of the distribution center were not conveyed properly to us. Just frustrating!
Me and my parents had an amazing experience looking for our new dinning table. Our salesman Karina was very friendly and genuinely invested in helping us, she gave us a lot of options and made the paper work really quick and easy. Great service!!!!
I love shopping at Ashley's Furniture stores. I went in on today to buy a bed frame and came out with a complete adjustable base with a Temperpedic mattress with all the bells and whistles. The Salesman and store Manager were awesome professionals and the other staff were as well the atmosphere was that of that you are family and you are welcomed 😀

I bought a new mattress and box spring. The sales man was very knowledgeable. I was trying to arrange and get sizes to my headboard. To be sure I was ready to receive the delivery. He was on his phone a lot not sure why. But he was helpful and knew his furniture.
My husband and I purchased in full payment a king size bed and mattress from the Ashley furniture store in Conroe, Texas. The delivery date was miscommunicated to us by our sales person. I contacted our sales person Eduardo to try to move the delivery date up a couple of days and he apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that he would speak to his manager and try to work on changing the delivery date. After a few days no one called or communicated to us about our order. I called the store and spoke with the receptionist and asked to speak to the store manager, she informed me that she was the office manager, I said thank you but I would like to speak to the store manager at that time she placed me on hold for about 40 minutes. She returned to the phone and informed me that the store manager was not in. After that we felt we were just getting the run around and no one was trying to resolve our order issue, so we decided to cancel our order and look someplace else. I personally went into the store to cancel our order and receive a print out receipt of cancelation. I spoke with the same receptionist I had previously spoken with on the phone. I gave her my name and told her I wanted to cancel the order. I also asked her again was the store manager in and she replied no he is not, she was very rude and dismissive towards me. I collected my cancelation receipt and proceeded to leave the store, as I was leaving I saw Eduardo and two other men busy on their phones and I got Eduardo's attention and asked if the store manager was in, he then directed my attention to the African American man that was seated busy on his phone.I informed the store manager that I asked the receptionist several times if the store manager was in and she told me no I also informed him of our order issue and the lack of communication from the staff about our order, he said that it was not his job to deal with cancelations, he only dealt with sales and the receptionist was doing her job. I asked him if a customer has a complaint or an issue with their order they cannot speak to the store manager to try and get the issue resolved and he told me yes that is correct, they cannot speak to the store manager. The store manager was also very rude and arrogant . We definitely will not be purchasing anything further from Ashley furniture, they care about you during the initial sale and the spending of your money but after that they couldn't care less

Just to be clear, this is not 5 stars for the store itself, I have been here twice and both times I have been completely ignored, less for one Salesman Ben who seemed to be the only person that was eager to help us. Ashley is in my opinion overpriced for the quality, but I liked Ben so much that we went ahead and purchased a sectional we were not even planning on buying. Don't bother with the other sales personnel or management, just ask for Ben and he will take care of you.
1st place we have been to that actually had a piece of furniture that fit my short stocky body & was comfortable. Kevin was very friendly & helpful to my husband.

I called this store earlier this evening to see if they had a particular mattress. I called twice and in the second time a lady named Heaven told me that they had the mattress in stock and I would be able to pay for it today and take it home. I get off work and drive one and a half hours to the store to find out they did not in fact have the mattress in stock. When I first came in the door the my son and I looked around before anyone spoke or approached us. In fact no one ever approached us. But upon looking around the furniture there was very dirty and the bedding on the beds was not clean and had crumbs on one particular bedroom set I was looking at. After looking around. I approached a gentlemen at the front who looked the item up and told me they did not have the item on stock. So of course I was upset and asked to speak to a manager. The first manager that came had long dreads and said he was too busy to speak to me. Lol. How unprofessional is that to say to a customer who is present and standing within arms length. The gentleman who was helping me then directed me to another manager whose name was Tim Fisher. While he was on the phone Pam whom I had spoke to also earlier who heard Heaven say to me the mattress was available confirmed the story. She even confirmed this to her boss when he got off the phone. His response was rude and very unprofessional. He did not offer any apology for the incompetence of employee for lacking the knowledge of the items in the store. He simply said. Well clearly it’s a lack of communication. I then asked for the name of the regional or district manager. He would not give me the information. From the time I arrived at the store from the time I left it was a very negative experience. The store is not clean and the employees were rude especially the manager. I later went home to order the mattress online.

Drex had amazing customer service. He listened to what we wanted and made wonderful suggestion. This location was extremely helpful.
The wife and I went looking for an oversized recliner, Kevin Hardin greeted us and asked what we were looking for and quickly showed us all he had with suggestions on loveseats. We found a recliner we really liked and sat down to purchase it. While sitting by the mattresses my wife wonders over and starts asking about them and Kevin has a wealth of knowledge about each one. He didn’t pressure us AT ALL and let us know about the 36-48 month no interest and that turned into me buying a bed too. No back order and free delivery and set up. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable I literally enjoyed my time shopping at the Ashley furniture store in Conroe.
We were in and out within an hour! Quick and friendly service. :)
Came in to the store , 3 sales people sitting on a big table on their electronic gadgets , then stared at me like they’re trying to size me up , no one bothered to ask me if I need help or anything just staring. So I asked if anyone can help me find what I was looking for and finally one decided to reluctantly get up and point at the stuff. So rude and so lack of customers service. I came in there to buy and was disgusted. Will not come back there. I guess these 3 kids don’t care they’re just working there.

Service was awful. Had to find a sales person. We bought a love and couch. The love seat did not arrive for a month after date we were told. The couch arrived almost two months after original delivery date after four delivery date changes. It finally arrived six weeks and was so bad when unwrapped the delivery people looked at it and said they would take it back. The recliner would not close back, the right end was so lose it flop apart showing a four to five inch gap. The left end had a two or three inch gap. It was an absolute horrible experience. Of course we had to initiate all communication.

I was really hopeful that Ashley Furniture would prove a better furniture store than Rooms To Go… I have tried calling this local store multiple times on different occasions to determine when we will be receiving our furniture. We were give time frames at the time of sale by our salesman, however those dates were grossly inaccurate, the delivery hotline estimated 11-12 weeks out. Mind you this was eight weeks ago, and unfortunately that’s still the current time frame. Additionally, we were never notified that our delivery time frame was pushed back, this was simply a result calling their corporate customer service line. Our salesman was all about the sell, however shortly after the papers were signed, trying to reach him was near impossible. Voicemails were left and no return call was attempted. This store phone number is never answered. I wouldn’t recommend this location (I can’t speak on behalf of other locations). My one star rating is generous, it’s frustrating that this bad business performance continues to dominate.

We walked in and found a clearance coffee table that we loved. They wrapped it up and loaded it into my truck. Great service. They were a little pushy in mattress sales, which we were not even looking for, but they were helpfull in the other areas.

Initial service during the purchase was great. As with many things in late 2020, delivery took a long time. When two bunk beds were finally delivered, the delivery crew did not assemble. Said I'd need to reschedule to get them assembled. This is an impossible task. Every time I call to get this done, it's like I'm having the conversation for the first time ... again and again and again. I'm giving up an just assembling myself. Not a big deal, but I "paid" for that service. Also, a rug I ordered two months ago is now estimated for delivery in two more months. I finally gave up and bought a rug from a different store. However, I am getting the run around on cancelling the one I purchased from Ashley HomeStore. The store manager apparently is the one that has to do this, but he/she will not return my phone calls.
So our salesman was awesome but not so good on customer service! Mondays phone call Ashley said all our items were in. No comment was made about if we didn’t schedule our delivery they would give our furniture to someone else! This is furniture we paid cash for in September. Wednesday we call to schedule our delivery and it’s not all there? Today we had a delivery schedule for part of our stuff including assembling and the rails that hold the head and foot boards weren’t in the delivery nor was the dresser. We called and were told they could schedule another delivery because the items were on the truck, the truck without the items that just left? Then we were told we had to call and have the goods expedited. So Ashley is telling us to call Ashley and expedite our items? It goes on and on and on. Should have bought everything at mattress max and had it delivered to our storage unit 🤦♀️🤷♀️

Edit: I just got word that our split king adjustable bed will be delivered in parts, one this week the other in 2-4 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE! And of course can not get ahold of a live person to discuss this. Sijj went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything.

Don't buy something an expect it to be delivered on time. Not talking minutes or days but months. They don't answer the phone or return calls. Had to stop by the store. Manager said their phone was out for two months 🙄. The delivery time kept getting pushed out. No one would call and tell you the automated phone system recognizes your phone number and gives generic update.
The worst customer service/experience I have ever dealt with they're giving the round around on my furniture the delivery day was supposed to be October 26 as of today still no furniture or atleast a courtesy call, and the store manager is never there. So frustrating.

Highly suggest using a cheese grater on your nether regions rather than going here. Shady sales tactics, over priced furniture, long wait times for delivery, and they show up with the wrong or missing items. Do not recommend. Edit: My final bedroom items won't be delivered until February 8th. I purchased them in September.... fortunately I'm able to cancel them. Customer service line was barely comprehensible due to static and intermittent clicking on their end. Edit edit: The couch installation was abysmal. The recliner was broken upon receipt, and using their warranty takes nearly as long as getting the furniture... MONTHS. (Their technician is scheduled for tomorrow, can't wait to see how this goes 👀) Edit edit edit: Well it's been nearly a year and my chair is still messed up. I've given up. Again... DO NOT GO HERE
My husband and I have just had one of the worst shopping experiences of all time. Everybody in the store is super willing to sell furniture to you, however the process of having furniture delivered becomes a tragic nightmare. First, Nothing will be delivered for at least 6 to 12 weeks. Only certain parts will be delivered at a time, i.e one piece of a couch per week for 6 weeks. Which is absolutely horrible if they give you a window of 3 PM to 9 PM each week, And then don’t even show up at all!!! Customer service is a joke. Nobody can give you a straight answer. Everybody is working from different computer systems and everything we have been told has been a lie of some sort. Furthermore, we learned that if you would like to return somthing, you are SOL.. I cannot believe in this day and age, a company such as Ashley furniture can still exist. Everything about our experience has made me realize that this company is a scam. Don’t waist your time money!! Go see mattress Mac or even goodwill is a better option!!
IF I COULD RATE A ZERO...I WOULD.Keep getting the run around between the store and GRT team for over 5 months just trying to order a part for my recliner. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have tried to order by phone and in person no one is willing to go the extra mile to look up the part I need they just keep giving excuses. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY AGAIN.
Terrible customer service. Ordered August and was told it would be delivered in September. Now I'm being told it won't be until December when it's delivered. They keep holding the $, then they release it, then they hold it, then they release it. This occurs every 2 days. Twice now they have put 2 holds on my bank account for the amount of my order and the 2nd hold doesn't go through so then they put my order itself on hold. Customer service today told me this will keep occurring until my order is in the truck being delivered because that's just their procedure. I will NEVER order through Ashely again. Terrible experience.
Ashley Furniture in the past was the best furniture store that I have ever dealt with! Since Covid they have gone down hill! We placed an order for furniture and was promised delivery in 3 months. 3 months later we were told it would be and additional 6 months before we MIGHT get delivery. Never again !!!

I liked dealing with Kevin. He was helpful, but my overall experience after the purchase has been horrible. One of the managers wants to get attitude with me when I asked about an update on the delivery of my furniture. I bought a sectional but its taking way over 7 weeks to get the whole thing delivered. It keeps being delivered in pieces. I'm being told 3 different dates on when the last part will be delivered and it's just very frustrating. I'm never buying from this store again. I should have bought from a store down the street. Dont shop here. It's a waste of time.

Read Yelp reviews before entering the store, there are plenty of furniture stores to chose from… go where the customer is appreciated before and after you spend your money.
Will never enter an Ashley furniture again due to the manager at this locations attitude. Went in to purchase x2 different items and exchange a mattress. Sales rep was good, manager told us word for word “you are not a customer,” so I guess he was okay losing a sale of a kitchen table. Our sister bought a temperpedic mattress here that felt incredibly soft in store, however upon arrival the mattress was hard as a rock. We called and we were told we had to keep the item for 30 days and could only return the item at the 30 day mark; no sooner, no later. We came on the 30th day and we were told we could not return the item but could exchange it. There was nothing that matched the price of the mattress so we either had to pay more, or pick out a cheaper mattress (which we lost $1000 for). We are not the only ones with this issue within 10 minutes of being at this store. Another guy had same exact problem and was also told something different when purchasing the mattress. Overall, It’s not about the sleezy return policy as much as it was the managers attitude of not allowing us to ask questions (can you show me a mattress of similar price) because we “are not customers”. Anyone entering that store should be considered a customer and any family member can ask questions regarding concerns on a policy that was lied about upfront in person. I now understand why people told us not to shop especially at this location.
Buyer beware! I had a table and 4 chairs for $ 1000.00 cheaper at katy furniture. When I told the sales girl she went to their manager. He was very unfriendly . Then they asked if we wanted it today. When i said yes they said I would have to drive to Houston. Bottom line is very much overpriced . 1000.00 more expensive for exact same table. Beware!!! We just took.our business to a real furniture store with fair prices.

Still for all the stores we looked at, it was the most reasonable quality to cost ratio.

As a first time customer, we left the store very satisfied. We were helped promptly and were shown a few options based on what we were looking for. The delivery will take awhile, due to the furniture we ordered having to be made. We are excitedly waiting for delivery and can't wait for the furniture to arrive!

Don't buy anything from Ashley Furniture! I went in to ask a question because no one was answering the phones. I called 4 times and no answer. We made a purchase on Sunday afternoon and I had a question on Monday morning. No one was at the service desk, which was very odd. I walked from corner to corner of the service desk and I still could not find anyone. Long story short the manager was very rude and would not give me his name. I had a simple question about the item we had just purchased and he didn't even give me the chance to ask it. He said, call customer service and told me to leave the store. The absolutely worst customer service ever. This was our first purchase at the Ashley Furniture Store in Conroe and it will be our last. We have been very satisfied customers for 10 years with Ashley Furniture in The Woodlands. Today it STOPS.
August 2021: Good furniture and selection at reasonable prices. Beware, the online prices are frequently, substantially cheaper and you have to request a price match which limits your financing options. The sales people made my shopping experience one of the worst I have experienced in a long time. The lady was utterly relentless in trying to get me to buy more. I was very clear and repeatedly, more than 5x, told her I was not interested. Then she goes and brings another sales person over or who starts in all over again trying to get me to buy more!!! It was a harassing and very negative experience. I would have walked out but it takes a lot for me to like something enough to buy it so I just wanted to purchase my items and leave!!! The sales people completely destroyed the whole experience. Listen to your customers and leave them be!!!! Editted to add even though they "price matched" one item was out of stock so they sold it to me $50 more then the store price and $175 more than the online price. Delivery is over $100 more than the website. Overall i paid $350 more than if i had just bought it online. Should have trusted my instincts and WALKED OUT!! Update: jan 2022 still waiting on furniture 2nd update: august 2022 1 year later, not a single piece of furniture delivered and one item discontinued. No contact from them. DO NOT SHOP HERE
Terrible place to shop Conroe location manager told me to get out of his store because I paid cash For a recliner that I bought on Thursday told me to go to the warehouse on Friday that the chair is in stock get to the warehouse there is no chair there never was a chair went back into the Conroe store questioned him about what is going on the manager immediately got belligerent and rude with me and told me to get out of his store and that he doesn't care what corporate says without asking me but asking me hit a button on his computer to send yet on his computer to send me a check that will take 9 to 12 weeks for me to receive this is a terrible way to do business we'll never ever shop here again I'm speaking to corporate To find out why

Incredibly unhappy. Assured by Karina that our furniture would arrive within 2 weeks, which would have been this week. We went with them instead of buying it online since online stores said it could take 1-2 months. Just received notification that it was delayed an entire month, and that it "might" arrive in September. Unable to reach the store and was on hold for over an hour before I gave up. Looking at all of their other reviews I wish I had, this is a huge problem with many people's orders. Some people having to wait SIX MONTHS. You can also see if you look at a lot of 5 star reviews they only have 1-3 reviews on their account, a hallmark of fake accounts made for reviews. What a joke, wish we had never bought from them. And to the corporate person replying to these reviews, don't even bother unless you offer a way to get it fixed instead of the regurgitated "We are about your feedback, please send us an email telling us why you left us a bad review." Don't lie to a customer's face to get a sale when a large amount of people are having shipping delays. EDIT: Reached out to the number they gave me. Just told me items are delayed, not sure what the point of giving the support number was.

When I went to buy my furniture the seller was so nice very helpful, he promise me my mattress will be delivered very soon, the week I supposed to get it, I call and they said it would be delivered 8 weeks later. I told them I want to cancel my order. They said they will make a ticket and someone will call me back, never received a call back. I call back and they said they will cancel my order for good that I will received my refund in 7 business days. It’s being a month and I didn’t received my refund yet, I call again they told me to go to the store and talk to the manager. We went to the store the manager was very rude and told us he can’t do anything about it. He told me to call again. I was on the phone on hold for 54 minutes until they hang up on me and the lady never call me back. Never again I will buy any furniture from this store, very bad customer service 😡
Worst experience I have ever had buying anything ever in my life. I paid $1800 on a couch and was told it would be delivered in 10 weeks. Here I am 10 weeks later, still no furniture and they gave me another estimated arrival date in another 6 weeks. So they went from 10 weeks to 16 weeks. Absolutely ridiculous.. NEVER again will I buy anything from any Ashley Homestore.. Just the worst service ever.
Delivery service terrible. Impossible to reach Conroe store. Called got corporate office told them I had new address. Received a text that furniture would be delivered to old address. Text back new address again. I tried to call to reach someone no answer. They deliver to wrong address and when they told them to deliver to new address they still tried to leave it there. They did not speak english. I am am still waiting for furniture!

Not happy. Don’t waste your time with Ashley. We were hit hard by covid economics and ended up selling almost all we had. When we finally got our feet back under us we decided we wanted a nice set of furniture that would last and had a warranty. We went to Ashley and bought multiple pieces at the beginning of June. Towards the end of June we hadn’t heard anything about our shipment and had gotten settled into our new place, so we went to check up on it. One piece was delayed but the rest would be received around the beginning of august. Our original timeline was 2-6 weeks. Today we walked in to check again, seeing we should have received an update by now. When checking on our order, the staff said everything should arrive towards the end of September. What? He couldn’t even get should of the warehouse to see why everything was so delayed!! I’m furious at this point. And they won’t even let me return the order and spend my money somewhere that will give me an actual timeline.

Well it started off really well. Walked in the store was greeted by sunny. He let us walk around and take a look at the inventory. In a matter of 30 min myself and my wife found the table, looked it up online and found out pricing. We already decided we wanted it. When trying to get the salesman’s attention that look like there was something far more important on his phone we walked around for an additional 30min before he even looked up. Finally I got his attention and told him I wanted to buy a table. The entire time he had a air pod in listening to music or whatever he was doing(looks extremely unprofessional). I only said I needed a table and he kept asking if I wanted a mattress….. finally bought the table and the only reason we even set there longer is because through him it was the only way to buy the table. Every question I asked was not clearly answered and he kept saying “don’t worry it’s a fair price” I knew it was I chose it. Overall I hope the rest of the experience is pleasant, will NEVER use Sunny as a sales person again.
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I ordered a bed and mattress. Received the bed. Had terrible experience with customer service. Was told the mattress would be delivered. Still waiting a week later. Got a confirmation that the mattress would be here on this day. Still no mattress. Called customer service again and they don’t even have the mattress. They canceled the delivery without informing me. What is customer services job anyways? They are not helpful at all. There is absolutely no way of talking to managers or the stores personally. I will never ever purchase from Ashley furniture again. Update: it’s been a month now. Five different confirmed delivery dates. Still have not received the mattress. Customer service sucks and has no respect nor a clue of what their job is. 5 different days I have had to miss work to wait on this and they never show up. They don’t call to tell us they aren’t coming either. I’m so over this. This is getting out of control. 3 people today have told us different things and apparently customer service doesn’t have a manager or a cooperate office. I will never recommend anyone to buy from here.
Furnishing a new home and purchased several items. After a couple of hours shopping was told we could come back later and add to our order. When we returned and picked out more items the salesperson denied that she told us that, and there would be another $149 delivery charge even though nothing had been delivered yet. I would cancel everything, except in small print there would be a 10 percent charge. I will never buy anything from them again. Beware, never take their word, get it in writing. Imagine, the owner thanking me for a negative review.
Applying for and opening a credit account was fast and easy in store. We loved the quality and selection and were able to pick out and purchase something we loved in less than an hour! Will be coming back for future purchases.
Had a nice experience today! Wasn’t over pressured and was left alone until we found something we really liked. When we did find something we liked we found Sarah and she helped us purchase our Bedroom set, living room set, and a new mattress! Sarah was also extremely knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we had.

If I could give them zero stars I would. The initial interaction here was okay; but it always is when someone wants to sell you something. From there, it has been downhill. I was given an estimated delivery date, however, no one called to confirm the date and when I tried to call to inquire a the status -- I could never get through to the store. Which brings me to contacting the store: apparently, their phones "don't work" and have been out of commission for the better part of a month (what business operates with no phones??) After 2 weeks of non-communication about the furniture, I had to drive 35 miles back to to store just to speak with someone. I intended to get my money back and cancel but I was coerced to wait until the weekend and they PROMISED I would have my furniture delivered on time. Someone called to confirm the date 2 days prior, then they called to confirm the delivery window the day before. After I made preparations to be ready during the window, they called at 10:35 the morning of the delivery to say that they left the warehouse late and now the delivery will arrive tonight (as opposed to the afternoon) ...unacceptable. I do not accept night time deliveries; no one should unless that is something they prefer. When I asked to speak with someone, they could never provide me with a working number or connect me with someone at the store. No one should be frustrated or upset when they are awaiting new furniture. The lack of communication, the smirk and attitude when I complained to the original salesman, and the failure to be respectful of the time of customers has confirmed for me that I will sit on a haystack before I do business with them again. They are awful
So the experience in the beginning was great and exciting but after the purchase of our couch and ottoman has been a nightmare. I would not recommend anyone to go to Ashley Furniture because the customer service after the fact is horrendous. I was told my couch would be ready for pick up in 3 to 4 weeks. So exactly 4 weeks after the purchase I called to see if it was ready to pick up at the warehouse and they told me it would be ready to pick up July 8th. So I call the day before and they had changed the pick up date on me to the 16th without calling me or emailing me to let me know. So the 16th comes around and I call to see if it’s ready to be picked up and now they are telling me that it won’t be ready for pick up until the end of July. I’m beyond irritated with how all of this is playing out and will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again. The funny thing is I’m not even getting it delivered. I’M PICKING IT UP FROM THE WAREHOUSE and can’t even get a solid date on that. It’s a nightmare and I am beyond upset. They’re also saying that the date could change again. This is pathetic Ashley and y’all need to get your s*** straight. When you change the date LET THAT INDIVIDUAL KNOW! You can’t just leave people in the dark wondering if they will receive their furniture or not. At this point I want delivery for the headache you guys are causing me and my family.
I'd give ZERO stars, if I could! What a scam! I bought several thousand dollars worth of furniture and was promised it would be delivered in about 4 weeks. Having heard nothing, I tried calling the store, but nobody ever answers the phone. I finally texted them and they replied that the furniture was delayed an extra month for some, and an extra 5 months for the rest. I canceled my order & was told I have to wait about a month to get a refund check in the mail. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE GO TO GALLERY FURNITURE!
I ordered an wood L shape desk and bookcase for my craft/office room. The price was good as I’ve shopped around a lot. It appears very well made and durable. It is very pretty! I’ll update my post once It is delivered and installed. Update- when I ordered my furniture from Ashley On 7/10/21. I was told by the salesman that the items were in stock and my order would be delivered the week of 7/20/21. When I contacted Ashley Furniture customer service they stated my furniture is on back order and now has a pending date of arrival to warehouse of 7/30/21 and they couldn’t guarantee this date either. When I questioned this they told me this was a back ordered purchase. I specifically asked the salesman prior to purchase if this was in stock and could be delivered quickly. He stated yes but obviously this was untrue. I’m very disappointed I’m this purchase. I work from home and need my office furniture to be able to do my job. I finally received a text stating my furniture would be delivered 8/4. Today 7/31 I got an email to call Ms Darrington at Ashley Furniture concerning my delivery. When I called she told me only half my desk would be delivered and the return desk would possibly be delivered 8/10 but couldn’t tell me for sure. I explained I was told the product was in stock when purchased and Ms Darrington said that the salespersons don’t know this information when they sell items. That is absurd. How can salespersons sell items and not be knowledgeable about the product they are selling! I informed her this is an L shape desk and could not stand alone with only one half the desk. I informed her this is not true it requires the return desk. She told me the return portion of my desk may come 8/10. Wow this is such poor service! I purchased this and paid cash for this purchase and was lied to from the beginning on the availability of this product. See photo. I’m so disappointed in this purchase from the initial sale to the month long waiting for delivery of half a desk! My recommendation is shop somewhere else.

Purchased 2 recliners ,first from the woodlands & 2nd. From conroe store. First canceled because pick up dates changed to a month later than promised.the 2nd. Because we ,went to pick it up waited 25 min. Outside then we’re told it wasn’t there! After in store purchase was told we could pick it up that same day ,it was in the warehouse! Called & was told it was there! Talked to corporate was told by her , that she couldn’t help us! Imagine that! Exactly what is her job? She said our file was locked??? Just what is her job?, Not to tell a customer paying cash $2,000.00 that she can’t help or do anything!! Seems like the more professional way would have been, let me look into this & I will call you back. We have been a loyal customer for years, but NO More!!!
Poor customer service. I like our furniture. The customer service is poor. CORRECTION: Furniture also has problems. Couch is less than 30 days in use and already the "leather" is pealing. I'll be contacting you shortly about a refund.
Went in with money in hand to buy a dining room set that I liked for $749.00 & I was going to finance a sofa at the same time but not a single sales person offered to help or acknowledge me at all I went mid day in yhe middle of the week so it wasn't busy, I saw 4 employees sitting on the furniture chatting with each other and on their phones anyways I ended up buying from rooms to go ✌🏼

Staff was friendly and helpful, I didn’t feel a lot of pressure from the staff like some other furniture stores. I told Martin what I was in the market for and that I wanted to look around, he pointed out where everything was in the store and then let me peruse at my leisure. When I was ready to make a purchase, he helped me quickly and efficiently and even gave me a discount on a warranty. And everything I bought was already very reasonably priced. Great experience.

If there was a zero start I would put zero. We spend a lot of money for a bedroom set (november 2021). We were expecting it to arrive Mid Feb 2022. They have not even try to call us when the order is delay, it is us always calling them, and first they said end of Feb, later they say first week of march, then 15th of march and now end of March. We have been waiting 5 months already for pur bedroom set, I am pregnant and they do not give us any solutions and do not even call us telling us that there are issues with the order... Poor service! I do not recommend to buy here at all!!! we were looking for some couches but definetely not buying here again
I am trying to speak to someone regarding a delivery but have been on hold for an hour at a time multiple times over the last 2 days. Can someone please help? I was able to speak to an agent shortly after making this post. Pretty sure it was a coincidence but none the less the agent was very helpful in getting my standing order in the delivery queue.

Very deceptive. Was told delivery June 4 so I bought. Once I followed up the next couple days I am being told electronically 4-6 weeks and what’s worse is the salesperson will not return my call, heck they won’t even answer the phone.
5/16/21 purchase day. The shopping experience was great, that’s why I gave it a 5 star review. My sales person, Sijj was very nice, courteous and very patient. It took me forever to decide what I wanted, and he didn’t rush me at all. I just hope that my furniture is delivered within the 2 weeks time frame I was given. I also hope that the furniture is of good quality. Can’t wait to get them! 8/7/21 update. I purchased the furniture in mid May, and was told that it was going to be delivered in 2 weeks. By the end of July I received 3 pieces of the sectional I had purchased. They had contacted me prior to the delivery asking if they could deliver a partial, to which I said no. I wanted the sectional to be delivered complete, but they delivered the 3 pieces anyways. The day they delivered the partial I called them, and the lady on the phone told me that the rest would be delivered by the 6th of August. Today is August 7th so I called them. The new delivery day is now August 31st. More than 3 months from the purchase day. I got very upset and went to the store to see if they could speed up the delivery. To my surprise they tell me that the delivery they are showing is September 3rd. Talking to these people is very frustrating. Their policy is, no refunds no returns so you’re stuck dealing with them. Furthermore, their furniture is not of good quality and is very over priced. I just wish I had never entered their store. I would never ever recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. I don’t even know how they stay in business. They can’t keep up with the demand. They don’t even have a warehouse to store their furniture, that’s why they keep moving their delivery dates. If you do not accept a partial delivery, then they fill other orders and they keep pushing your delivery dates. If you need the furniture right away, go purchase them somewhere else, or you will be very disappointed. I took the 5 star review I had given them to a one star review, and that’s only because you can’t give them anything less. but in reality, they are a minus 5 star store.
I didn't go to this particular store but I did go to the one in San Antonio and I can tell you their showcase is fantastic and up to date. Their prices are somewhat steep however you are getting quality furniture that is not only functional and handsome but it will last a lifetime.
Got our couch two weeks late and customer service was not helpful or remorseful about it but aside from that the couch was nice and the delivery was professional

I want to start out by saying that I love the quality of Ashley furniture which is why I chose to furnish my home with the Conroe location. However, everything after the purchase has been a downhill spiral, primarily concerning my children’s bunk bed. I ordered my furniture over 3 months ago. I got the first few pieces in February. My night stand arrived with the side of it cracked in two places, possibly smashed. Definitely damaged. And as for the bunk bed, I’ve been given 6-7 different dates now as to when it will be delivered. I’ve spoken with 2 different managers at this location. Corporate and the home store are not on the same page. I keep getting different information. My bunk bed was supposed to arrive on Friday May 7 between 3-6pm but never showed. I have text message confirmation showing that I confirmed, but I was told they didn’t have confirmation. So I set up a new date for delivery with the manager for May 13. I called yesterday to inquire because no one contacted me for a time frame as to when they’d be coming by to deliver it. Now I’m being told it won’t be ready until June 24 which means that will be almost 5 months waiting for this bed. I was told by the manager on Friday that my bed, specifically for my order is in the warehouse, just waiting to be delivered. I just want to cancel at this point. I’m being given the run around, too many inaccuracies, I’m stressing out about my children not having their bunk bed. If someone could please reach out to me about this that can actually help and be consistent , I would appreciate it. 10/10 do not recommend.

He was patient while I went though and looked at the same few pieces I like over and over again until I made a decision to purchase. No pressure! The next day I texted him because I something else that I liked online. He was willing to assist me again to make sure my purchase suited my needs. I do not recommend anyone doing business with Ashley HomeStore. They do not stand behind their products and lack of quality products. Bought a recliner within the first 3 months mechanism started to stick and not work. They “fixed” it. Then “fixed” it, then “fixed” again to where they pushed it out of warranty and we are told they won’t take care of it. COMPLETE RIP OFF.

We were looking for living room furniture. Great variety on display, the store manager is very nice and respectful. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helped us with our selection.
I find it very ironic that I paid almost $5000 for a bedroom set and mattress from Ashley that I waited 4 months for and it never arrived. But then I turn around and spend $2000 at Amazon/Allswell for a full bedroom set and mattress and I got it all under a week. Get it together Ashley. Your furniture is not 6 months wait and double the cost impressive.

Twice I have been cheated and given wrong furniture, prices jacked up last minute after we had agreed on specific terms and prices, refusing to come get furniture they delivered wrong. Manager purposely ordered the wrong items. I was specific and precise with my verbal order there in store yet after going back the next day and adding more to the order the manager placed order wrong and never gave me the promised discounts. Now I am stuck with 6k worth of the wrong fur and Noone will do anything to fix it.
Sara was absolutely awesome, she worked really hard to get us the best deal for our entire home, when we were previously denied for what we needed. The furniture is of good quality. The already great prices were discounted to meet our budget! We highly recommend Ashley Home Store...ask for Sara!!❤

Great customer service when I walked into conroe store. I immediately was helped as we walked through the store. Great atmosphere! My son picked out the bed he wanted & salesman was calculating the numbers. Salesman was very patient waiting because my son changed his mind. My son found the perfect bed just what he was looking for in Ashleys. Then when we received the bed the delivery was quick & after the delivery men put his bed together my son was so happy with his new bed from Ashley's. We love Ashley 's Furniture ❤. We will definitely look there first when we buy more furniture! 😀
One of the sale person was not very professional. She kept asking me "why". Why don't you want this or Why don't you want that. For example, when I told her I don't want the $5000 mattress they have there, she asked me despite me already told her I have a budget "Why don't you want it, you spend all your money on the furniture. A good mattress can help you live longer". She did not explain how it can help me live longer. Then when we went to pay for the product, she asked if we want to do financing. My husband said, "No, we don't need it". She continue to try to persuade us to do financing despite us kept denying it. I think instead of me having to answer her "why". She could have try to persuade me by saying "let me tell you why you need this product or let me give you some more information about this product"
Great customer service, not pushy, and speedy checkout. They are backed up on shipping as is everyone else in the area, but the furniture selection is way better here than a few other places we went to. Saj (I can’t remember how to spell his name but it’s pronounced sage) was very helpful.
My story is to long to tell but let me tell y’all their customer service is horrible and specially the manager he got upset and threw is tablet on the counter because I changed my mind about the furniture I wanted, oh and he is one lying person too!! I don’t recommend this place!
I only have it two stars. The store experience was great! My sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I thought it a great experience at first! I have no issues with this particular store. The delivery experience has been awful. My furniture supposedly arrived at the store four days after placing our order which was great! They called to arrange delivery and we verified our address. We told them multiple times on multiple calls that our house was a new house in a new subdivision and it didn’t pull up yet on Google maps or Apple Maps. We told them the subdivision name and sent them a pinpoint to our location via text and email per their request. They have scheduled us for delivery twice now and both times ended up in Baytown when the address clearly says Conroe. Who does that? So have had to take off work twice now to be home for delivery and still have no furniture. Now I’m having to take off a third day to hopefully get it tomorrow. I’m a first time ashley customer and spent 4500 dollars in furniture and after this experience I don’t know if I’ll ever shop there again. Which is a shame because there was some other furniture there I liked and would probably be purchasing in the next couple of months. So store was great! Delivery service not great!

I read some negative comments on here about this place so I was apprehensive, but after my experience, I would 100% recommend. I have seen some reviews about late delivery, or bad customer service but personally my experience was wonderful with them. I went in, sat on some sectionals, found one I was in love with, purchased it on the spot. It was delivered exactly when they said it would be, in perfect condition, right on time. They let me know ahead of time when it would be, and let me track the delivery truck in real time. Wonderful customer service and the most comfortable couch I’ve ever had.
Let me start out with when we were there the experience was pretty good besides them being pushy on wanting us to finance when we specifically said NO we’re buying in cash, and also pushing extra products on us when we had a budget in mind was annoying. But here’s the review: 5/12/2021. My husband and I purchased our bedroom suite plus a new mattress at the end of March. It is now May 12th. When purchasing our things, we were told estimated delivery would be 3 weeks but “expect delays” okay fine. So 3 weeks comes so I text for an update, they say end of April. Okay so end of April comes I do the same, They say it’ll be May 11th when it comes. Okay, so May 11th I text and ask for update at this point I’m pretty frustrated as we spent $5000 on all of this stuff, not to mention how pushy they were on getting us to buy extra products and way too pushy on us to finance when we specifically said multiple times we are buying in full. Anyway, so May 11th they tell me it’ll be May 25th, me being frustrated I said this is ridiculous I was told 3 weeks and to expect some delays, they then tell me waiting period for products is 8-12 weeks and they’re sorry no one informed me. Excuse me??? That’s a HUGE thing not to Inform a paying customer of especially when told 3 weeks when purchasing. I ask for some sort of discount since I was not informed of the waiting period and they refused since I’m in the “8-12 week waiting period” to spend $5,000 and have to wait months for my things to come in and be lied to about the arrival period is ridiculous. They need to properly inform customers of this waiting period. If I would’ve known we would not have bought here because we desperately need a new bed, Obviously I’m gonna wait it out now as it’s been awhile and we want what we paid for. I’ve read numerous similar reviews on here with the same problem so we will not be purchasing here again after we get what we paid for. UPDATE: We ended up canceling this entire order!

A one star is even too much.went to the store feb 7th 2021. Bought end tables Coffee table and a chair. The salesman was nice. But beware, because they lie. Tables were coming in one week. Which was fine. Then he says the chair won't be for 4 weeks. At first I was no, dont want to wait that long. But after he explains that they are the only ones that are quick because they don't have a middle man.i said only 4 weeks? He said yes. So I went ahead and agreed. Figured March 7th i can wait. Then I get told few weeks later that it won't be until middle of April. Really? I explained what the salesman said and they acted like I was crazy . My daughter ordered an entertainment center. And when it came All the pieces weren't there. So today I decided to cancel my chair, because more I thought about it the more I was angry that they lied. And already having to make payments on it when dont have everything. And when I told the lady about my daughter and that its been three weeks now, still haven't got the rest of her entertainment. She says, thats because it will be another 6 weeks. What? Here she been paying on it and still has to wait. After I get off the phone I get a call from one of their financial people and I was explaining to them that Ashley sucks. She said they been getting alot of that lately. So before you decide to check them out, DON'T!! they will lie i promise.
Horrible service. Horrible experience. Horrible all the way around if no stars was an option I’d give none. Went to look at furniture and Kamran was extremely pushy and followed us around and made me very uncomfortable. My wife really wanted a new couch so I went through with the order. It took almost 2 months to hear anything about the couch so we decided to cancel the order due to finding something nicer and cheaper. We canceled and have been lied to by multiple representatives on my refund. I canceled on February 22nd and was told 7-14 business days which would have been March 2nd-11th. My wife called at about the 10th business day to check the progress and was told it was a store credit and that we could only spend it at the store. I called after and was told that they had no control over the refund it was thru the credit lenders. Called the credit lenders and they said that was a lie and it had to be refunded by Ashley’s. After multiple calls and attempts I’ve been given the run around and today March the 22nd I was told my refund was still pending and it would still take 7-14 business days to receive my refund. Was told I couldn’t talk to a manager or accounting to make the process faster due to me being lied to and already have waiting for 20+ business days for my refund. I’m extremely frustrated and will never do business with Ashley’s again and advise everyone out there to stay away and find a better more friendly furniture store to purchase from. Go to Yelp and read those reviews (1.5 stars on Yelp) wish I would have before making the mistake of walking through the doors of this establishment.
I am NOT a furniture shopper but the wife said we need a sofa set. So off we go, shopped at two stores and then ended up at Ashley Home Store. Told the gentleman that greeted us that we'll call him when we needed help. We located a sofa set and was about to get the gentleman that greeted us. When a different gentleman asked if he could help us, of course he could then I wouldn't have to look for the other guy ( less work for me). After a lot of back and forth and two hours later, we hit the jackpot. The sofa set that my wife and I agreed on. The gentleman that was patiently following us and putting up with my jokes was going to get his sale. He gave us the run down on the financing and that we won't be turned down. Honestly our credit isn't the best but we pay everything on time. Thinking to myself this guy is so full of it and the joke will be on him when they turn us down. I don't know how and don't care but he got us financed for the full amount and delivered on everything he said to us earlier. My wife asked him to apologize to the first gentleman that greeted us and asked if he could give part of the commission to him. We were told he will receive the entire commission, the second gentleman that ended up helping us was the Store Manager. You have to understand, I work for a major retail company and know sales. I am so impressed with the service and honesty along with the Store Manager looking out for his associates. This will be the first place we go to when we are shopping for our bedroom set. Promised items would be a certain time, did not happen. Claims the assistant manager has connections and would get the items in the discussed agreed upon time frame, still did not happen. Talk fast, sign your life away then get disappointed. Not a good transaction, 😕😞😔 Then I am being debited the monthly payment over $300 and don't have the furniture for that transaction now til the end of April. Creepy bald old guy with sharp teeth mask who was staring from across the store started following us and asking lots of personal questions and wouldn’t stop following us after saying “I’m good” multiple times and after clearly trying to walk away he just kept following. Luna and her manager assisted me while I was so Indecisive. They ended up helping me pick out a sofa that was more firm as I wanted with a 5 year protection plan. The manager even went outside to ensure my merchandise was put into my car nicely while it was raining outside. He even held an umbrella over me :) they showed great customer service! Thank you!
This is our third time shopping with Ashley Furniture in Conroe. We are always impressed with inventory and the salesman who can be as low pressure or as present as you’d like. They always have amazing sales and great financing options for those who are interested. I would recommend them to anyone.

I paid over $2000 cash in February 2021 for a couch and a chair and was told it would be delivered in 4-6 wks. I have been waiting 12 wks and now have been told it could be another 7-9 wks for delivery. The sales team and supervisor have been no help and not accommodating at all. Basically they are like oh well.. we got your $ already and don't care when you receive your order. I highly recommend not shopping or wasting your $ here. You will just be lied to and have the dates pushes back multiple times. Ashley furniture is a joke. Go to Gallery furniture or Rooms to go and have your furniture in 2 days.. This is the worst experience and company I have ever dealt with. Don't make the same horrible mistake as me!!!!!
Dealing with this store and company is a NIGHTMARE, The sales people blame the warehouse the warehouse blames the sales people... Why or when should the customers suffer because of your companies problems? Quality inst there, Found better at places like BIG LOTS. Save your self some money and frustration and go somewhere else.
Worst Delivery staff ever, the first two times they bring the wrong furniture, and the third time they show up an hour before the SCHEDULED delivery time. I can in and ask why they are early and they tell me "oh they must be early looks like we will just have to reschedule you". That is totally unacceptable my wife took off of work early to make it on time and with no care in the world the drivers just drive off. We rearranged our schedule to accommodate them and they can't even show up when expected and expect us to be inconvenienced yet again. If you go buy furniture from there don't ask TIM for any help because he is the cause of all of this and does not follow threw on anything. Worst sales staff and delivery staff ever. The store was great and so was the man that helped us . My only complaint is that we were told we had to wait 3-5 weeks for delivery and today I got a text stating it will be 7-9 weeks !!! We have bought furniture threw Ashley for years and never had to wait this long . I understand the whole covid regulation but up to 9 weeks is a long time to wait .

Never buy furniture here. We made a purchase, the paperwork says you can cancel. We found something we liked better. We are willing to pay the 10 percent cancelation fee. Have called been there in person, multiple times. They keep telling us they have canceled it but can’t print anything out or email us any verification. Go ask about it again get someone else and they say it’s never been canceled. Been doing this for a week now and I’m so over it. Worst customer service ever.
Just moved to the Conroe area from New Jersey, so we were (obviously) in need of some furniture. I’ve had great experiences with Ashley in the past, but the Conroe location was next level. A perfect combination of personal touch and salesmanship without being too pushy or off putting. From the moment I walked in, every single person made me feel like I was a part of their family. Huge thanks to Sijj, Stuart, Sunny and Isaiah (and also Sara) who went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and helped me pick up and order some great furniture. My current visit on April 8, 2023 was pleasant. Morgan greeted me and she was able to answer all my questions which resulted in me purchasing a few items. I didn't have to wait weeks before receiving everything. Instead I received them the following Tuesday. I am extremely happy!
Selection and the furniture itself is always good. But the delivery is ALWAYS slow and the drivers never update you on when they are coming.

After being told we would have our $10k worth of furniture by Feb 19 (a 3 week wait). We stills not have any furniture. Now we are told our order won’t be fulfilled until April 16, 2021. No way. Don’t waste your time. I’m canceling first thing in the morning!

The manger now refuses to call back and process the refund. I called the call center and they will not cancel orders or issue refunds saying the local store must do it. But ... the local store will not return calls. I will not be buying furniture here again and it looks like I will be driving over in person to get my refund. I have always had a good experience here so I was disappointed with this treatment from Ashley. Follow up to response from owner. I have already talked to people in the store several times over the last few months. I just need someone to actually cancel my order and refund my money instead of giving me the runaround.

Went in to buy a mattress today. When we walked in a salesman met us. When we told him we were interested in a mattress he promptly brought us a “sleep expert.” Isaiah was a big help and was very informative. Ashley was our first store, so we informed him we wanted to look around a bit more. You could tell he wanted the sale, but he was very understanding. We shopped around for a bit and then headed back to see him. We bought our new mattress and even walked out with some great pillows. This is not our first purchase from Ashley and will not be our last.

I will never order from this store again. We came in and ordered a bedroom suite with two nightstands. Paid for our entire purchase with a debit card and had a set deliver date. 3 weeks later the morning of our delivery we get a call that our bed won’t be delivered but our nightstands will. Not happy about that I went to the store that day and spoke with Dustin a manager and he said he would refund us our delivery fee. We eventually got our bed delivered but never received our delivery fee back. I have called the store everyday since then along with calling the customer service lines and no one has helped me. I have also went into the store where I was constantly told a manager was not there to help me. This is completely unacceptable and I will never do business with them again. Worst customer service I’ve ever had.
Be sure you ask that all your purchased pieces get delivered together. We ordered 2 living room sets, only after we received 1 chair did we find out that the rest of our furniture won't even be manufactured until February and March. So who knows when our actual delivery date will be.This information could have been shared at the time of purchase, we could have simply chosen other pieces. But we weren't given that courtesy, make sure you ask. They are more concerned with making a sale than taking care of the customer. On a positive note, I was offered a bottle of water multiple times.

I am placing a complain on the company and not the store. I had order a table with 4 chairs. Got my chairs delivered before Christmas and spend Christmas and New years without the table. I have been receiving email status on the table multiple times that it has been reschedule on a further date. I had order online due to COVID19 and this is big mistake because of it, i am having the worst experience ever. i was told the chairs are non-refund and I can cancel the table but there will be a fee to do so. I will never purchase from this company ever. They have the worst customer service. The listen but without caring because it is how it is. I don't want to do another inquiry about when will it be delivered. because all I am getting is an estimated date of delivery and the delivery keeps going further in the future. i don't want to delay it, maybe I need to take it to the BBB but I don't want to place the store as the problem because it was order online. What is the corporate office?
HORRIBLE experience! DO NOT shop here unless you never want to receive the item you paid for. We bought our furniture, paid cash, on December 13. We were given a Dec 31 delivery date. Received several texts and phone calls the week of delivery to confirm our time window of 4 hours, we confirmed each and every one of them. The day of delivery, nothing. We called 4 different numbers and finally was able to get a hold of someone and we were told delivery was changed to Jan 6 as not all of the pieces were in. The day before delivery, we still had not received a confirmation text or phone call with our time window so my husband called the warehouse, after he attempted to call our salesman (nonworking number) and the store (left a voicemail during working hours), and was on hold for over 15 minutes with the warehouse and was told that the furniture wouldn't even be at the warehouse until Jan 8 and could not tell us an estimated date of delivery. He was told that wouldn't be decided until they receive the furniture! Do they not realize people WORK and have jobs and can't take off work all the time and cancel without notice? We had been warned by friends to stay away from Ashley and never understood why...until now. STAY AWAY!!! I will update this review WHEN and IF I receive my furniture. UPDATE: We called THEM on Jan 8 and the furniture is STILL NOT THERE! We've been given a new estimated date at the warehouse of Jan 13, nothing on delivery date yet! We're now looking at other furniture stores and probably cancelling our order and demanding a refund.
When I walked in they treated me ok but when I didnt find what I was looking for and the person was trying to show me a price and I told her I had a strict budget on a couch and said that we would be back she said got all offended and said ok in a rude manner and stormed off

Went to the store and picked out some chairs. Was told I could pick them up on 12/30/20 at the warehouse. Called on the date and was told they aren’t available until 1/6/21 and was initially provided an estimated date, which was never stated. First and last purchase from them. Guess my new living room will be from somewhere else.

I wish I could give the store no stars. Customer service has been a nightmare. We were told our furniture would be in on 12/3 and 12/15, and the sales rep even scheduled the delivery for us. We had a follow up confirmation call about delivery 2 days after purchase, and then zero communication from the store about the delivery afterwards. Day of scheduled delivery and we never heard anything from the store or delivery company. Upon reaching out we were told our order was delayed until the 19 of December and they would call us when it came in to schedule delivery. (Apparently they are not supposed to schedule deliveries until the furniture is actually in?) We received no communication again. We contacted the company ourselves (the corporate customer service line, as there is LITERALLY no way to contact anyone at the location where we purchase our furniture besides physically going back to the store. Insane) and were told our furniture would be delayed until the end of MARCH. When we asked why we were not informed of this, we were told we should have been receiving weekly updates. I am at a loss for how this company is still in business.
I came here looking for a new couch. They had a wide variety of couches in all different sizes, colors, and prices. The staff is very friendly and Luna was very helpful. She assisted us in finding the perfect one, and scheduling a delivery. I went to 4 different furniture stores today and this was by far the best. I would definitely suggest this place especially if you're looking for something budget friendly and good quality.

Sijj, the salesman was knowledgeable and understood our preferences. He took us to exactly what we were looking for and made the shopping experience great. Update, my furniture was to be delivered 8-13-20 and it was one recliner short. Every week they put it off another week. I would not have bought any furniture that would be here for a month. Everyone I talk to tells me they are sorry, but I can't sit on sorry. This will be my last purchase at Ashley.
Purchased a sectional that has not been delivered and pushed back another two months. Wont allow me to speak with anyone higher than shift manager. I purchased a sectional from Ashley furniture in Conroe TX on 10/03/20 after a table I purchased would not fit in desired space. They allowed me to exchange it for something else after a week of back and forth talk ( never opened ). I ordered the left arm chaise and right arm love seat ( 6440316 and 6440356 ), was told it would be delivered 12/02/20. It was not delivered and I was not given a call of change in status. Now 12/08/20 I reach out and was told it would be another 5-7 weeks, amongst talking with reps I was disconnected and not called back. I called back twice more and was randomly disconnected with no call backs. Employees at Conroe location do not care about customers just sales. All there systems are out dated and seem to always be offline ( phones, computers, etc. )
Sijj helped us throughout our visit without being persistent or pushy. He showed us options based on our interests and explained benefits of the purchase and and all the great options Ashley Home Store offers with your purchase. Whenever I would be undecisive he would explained perks included with my purchase and put us at ease. He helped us find our dream dinning set, breakfast table and console, and explained financing and benefits. We ended up being able to buy all the items mentioned above & living room sectional and very happy with the price. The easy no fuss 5 years without interest financing, protection plan and delivery. Very good experience, Sijj is very knowledgeable and we will be enjoying a beautiful donning set, breakfast table, console, and sectional all matching. Our home will be beautiful and cozy greatly furnished. I would recommend stopping by Ashley Home Store and dont look any further.
This was my first time here and I needed furniture for practically my entire apartment. Sage was very friendly and assisted me with a full knowledge of Ashley's promotions and discounts. He was very informative and helpful with the measurements that I gave him and explained to him what I was looking for and he had no problem taking that step to go above and beyond for a first timer. UPDATED BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW Went in and was immediately greeted by Martin. We told him we just wanted to look around. He came to check on us, without trying to put any pressure on us into buying. We found what we were looking for and made a purchase. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Will be returning in the near future to get other pieces of furniture that we liked. September 14, 2020. Update: November 23, 2020 Salesman said 4-6 weeks for delivery, so we made the purchase. When we got home I received a text saying 7-9 weeks for delivery. My thoughts are, ok there is a pandemic so that’s fine. Today marks 10 weeks haven’t heard ANYTHING at all from Ashley. I called and recording said that I have an active order but not a scheduled delivery. Please allow 8-10 weeks. So I sit on hold for 20 minutes so that I can speak to someone. The girl that answered my call with, can I help you, sounded like she just woke up or is bored out of her mind. I told her I placed an order in September and need a date I when I can expect it. She said January 13, 2021. Why? I ask. They have to build the furniture. So in other words, I was sold furniture that you didn’t even have at the time? She gets an attitude with me and said no they sold you furniture that the system was showing they had. Yes they sold me furniture they did not have. While I have her on the phone I update my husband on what I’m being told and while I’m talking to him she says, if you want to cancel you have to go to the store I can’t do it. Why did she mention canceling it? I didn’t say anything about canceling. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. At this point future purchases will take me to one of the other many options that we have in this county.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I was called in on my off time for pre-hiring paperwork and met the store manager. I dressed how I normally do dress, figured there would be no problem as I wasn't wearing shorts and just a t-shirt I felt I was dressed appropriately. I could feel the judgment from the rude store manager when I met him which made no sense to me considering it was MY TIME I was not being paid to be there. I tried to get a read on him and couldn't. Hey he didn't hire me his manager did, okay I understand the resentment. First day, I had to call him to figure out how to get into the store because he hadn't told me prior how to get in was rude over the phone with me as I was at the location hours before he even showed up. You hire someone you meet them on the first day, you'd think? Okay I get it. I arrived when he had told me to, and ended up being there turns out an hour early for the web training. I'm put in a store room, I go through the web training and notice that I am missing some key information on my employment that I HAD to seek out from a manager and did on my break. I clocked in late because of this, and on my lunch break I was going to go and talk to my store manager to get it resolved. I was met with him insulting what I was wearing on my first day. I mean I didn't even get a word in edgewise and I wasn't even met with any nice causality. I dressed in a nice pair of black pants, a long sleeve polo and vans. I knew I was going to be training and not on the floor.. Regardless I was up to the employee code of the handbook to the best of my interpretation. I told him, I thought I was dressed business casual (have worked in in a clothing store so I knew I was acceptable) he berated me and insisted I wasn't. I left without even being able to feel comfortable enough to raise my concerns from the day. This gentleman not only didn't give me the opportunity to voice the concern I had NOR did he even give me the decency of asking how a NEW HIRE was doing on their FIRST DAY! Talk about a bad date. I went home fuming on my lunch break and changed to hope to get off on a better foot later in the day. Didn't see him the rest of the day, nobody even came to check on me to make sure everything was fine.. I felt alone and disgruntled on my FIRST DAY. Who in the world would want that to happen to a NEW HIRE on the FIRST DAY? Not someone who wants to work with a team, wants to be respected or hire anyone new, that is for sure. I will not be coming back and will refer any shoppers away.
Still waiting on a couch ordered in October was told it would be available for delivery on November 27th.. well now it won't be available until December possibly January! Nope never again ashley furniture I will never do business with you again! And Now no-one will answer the phone so I can cancel and get a refund ! Went to gallery furniture and got my purchase the same day..... save your sanity go to gallery furniture! This is ridiculous!!!!
Great service from Sunny. Called the day before and he was very helpful. We went in and immediately was greeted by a sales person. Sunny introduced himself and he guided us to what we wanted. He gave us time to look around and then showed us different varieties of the kind of furniture we wanted. In the end excellent service, excellent experience and excellent prices. Will go to Conroe again!!
This is my first time shopping/ buying from Ashley Furniture. The sales associate was helpful and friendly. I haven’t gotten my furniture yet, but I am eagerly awaiting. I am only giving 4 stars because I haven’t gotten my purchases as of yet, and can’t speak to the quality of the furniture.
Today in buying my furniture for my beach house Isaiah could not of been more helpful . Started off on a rocky road. Almost left but the guys really wanted to make a sale They were all great. They put up with my being indecisive. Can’t say they are like mattress Mack cause no delivery that same day LOL. but I got a great deal on my furniture. BUT the verdict is still out. I have not gotten it delivered and set up yet. Worst experience I have ever had. Would never go back or refer anyone. I went in on the 15th of October and bought a couch and loveseat. It was to be delivered on the 28th of October. I have yet to receive it. I have gotten 4 text messages on several divergent days stating it was out for delivery but it never came. I would call to get an eta each time only to find out the delivery had been delayed but no one reached out to update me of the change. I have called my rep a couple of times and he said he would check into it and call me back but never did. I have gone back into the store on 3 different occasions and still nothing. Can’t enjoy the new house that I bought because I’m still waiting on furniture. Very poor customer service. May be different at other locations but do not go to the Conroe location off 45.

We have purchased several pieces of furniture and a bed. We only use Sunny, he is the best and takes great care of us. We have been very pleased with the bed we purchased and all of the furniture we have purchased. We are now working on furnishing 3 separate structures on 2 acres for a vacation short term rental and plan to purchase quite a bit of furnishings to furnish all 3 homes!

If I could leave no stars I would do it! I am extremely outraged and frustrated with this store! We placed an order for a couch back in September and were told that the couch would be arriving in 4-5 weeks, guess what it did not arrive. I attempted to call the store multiple times and was unsuccessful, I literally had to call another store to see if they could assist me and they did answer but I was told that only the store where I placed the order could access my account. So I drove to this store and as I walked in I encountered employees laying down on display couches playing with their phone. I asked to speak to the manager and was unsuccessful because he was gone for the day. I returned the next day, spoke to the sales person who processed my order and he affirmed me that my order would be arriving Nov. 2, and offered a 20% discount, so I decided to give them another try...worst mistake! I received a call Nov. 3 stating that my order would be arriving November 6, I confirmed the deliver and later I received an email encouraging me to have the space cleared up and our old furniture away, so guess what we did?? We threw away our old couch the day before because we were expecting our new couch the next day! Well November 6th arrived and guess what??? Our couch never arrived! We never received a courtesy call letting us know that the delivery was not arriving, I had to call them..(I was on hold for over 30 minutes) finally someone answered the phone stating that the couch was damaged that is why they could not deliver, but hey they never thought about letting me know! Needless to say, I canceled the order and drove 20 miles to Gallery Furniture where the customer service was amazing and guess what? My new couch arrived the next day with out any problems!
TERRIBLE PLACE TO SHOP AT!! We bought a $700 table from them and it showed up 3 weeks after the original delivery date! And when it finally did come in, IT HAS A BROKEN CHAIR!!!! Now 2.5 months after we ordered a new chair, we still don’t have it. We just spoke to their incompetent customer service team and she checked our account status and said that the woman who was supposed to place your new chair order NEVER PLACED IT!!!!! We are so outraged!! Never ordering from them again. We are also spreading the word so no one will ever shop there and make the same mistake we did. Hope this company goes out of business.
Outraged! How can these people make a sale to deliver and not deliver? They didn’t even call to let us know they weren’t going to deliver. We purchased a bed with the promise that it would be delivered on 10/23/2020 (a birthday gift for me that I just had a back surgery!). On that date, there was no delivery or even a courtesy call. After several attempts to call Ashley Furniture with no answer, I had to go and ask them for the status on the bed. They said it wasn’t put on the truck and that it would be delivered first thing in the morning on 10/26/2020. Guess what?! Again, no bed or courtesy call. Meanwhile, we have been WITHOUT A BED and according to them, we will be without one until 10/30/2020. This information came after several more attempts to call and long periods of wait time. Can they be trusted to keep their word? I don’t know anymore! I am furious with this Ashley Home Store and with this kind of practice, I would not recommend shopping there.
The entire staff are wonderful besides Mr. Elliot the regional manager at the store, but we'll get to that later. AMAZING STAFF, NOT GREAT BUT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, from Mohammed to Dustin and everyone I encounter. the delivering process is a nightmare they cant get my order right. My order was placed and paid June 6th and its now October 30th no furniture. After having numerous issues with my delivery from delivering the wrong furniture to never show up, while I took 7 days off from work for nothing. Dustin is one of the managers there and has done everything he could and still until today helping me, so I can get the footboard so the bed can be assembled. I've been sleeping on the floor for 5 months now. I've been calm but frustrated because I work in the hospitality industry and I know how things work sometimes mostly during this time. Dustin and Mohammed has done everything you can imagine to ratify the mistakes - again EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ashley HomeStore is lucky to have them. AMAZING GENTS and I do appreciate everting they have done. Its sad to see that there's really nothing else they can do to assist with this. Dustin and Mohammed I want you gents to know how great you all are, keep up the excellent work. Because they couldn't get the order right I had to go to the store and choose a different furniture. To my surprise everything was delivered but the footboard was missing AGAIN. They schedule another deliver day and guess what? NO FOOTBOARD AGAIN. I called the store spoke with Dustin, I was frustrated but again I understood his position. So they advised me to speak with their manager Elliot today October 30th. Giving the staff 5 star The Store 4 star Mr.Elliot..... NOW LETS GET TO MR. ELLIOT, THE WROST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER!!! After explaining to Mr. Elliot ( I don't know his last name because he refused to provide it and hang-up the phone while I was talking) what I've been going thru since June 6th with my delivery I wanted him to assure me that I would get the footboard as scheduled next month. He stated that he couldn't assist me the only thing he could do is schedule the next deliver. I asked for a number to call corporate and nothing he had no information, worst attitude and costumer service. He never apologized or offered a solution. Because I was holding him accountable to fix the issue he told me to stop screaming at him, he made that statement several times - now imagine I'm in a hotel lobby where I'm training staff so there's no way I would be screaming at him and did I mentioned to him, after I did that he stated" sir you can wait for the deliver date or I can make a call and you can pick it up at the Wearhouse facility. JUST UNBELIVABLE that a regional manager would treat a loyal customer this way. I don't want nothing for free I just want the footboard delivered and the bed assembled. How difficult is that? I feel bad for the entire staff to have a manager like Mr. Elliot. I truly hope that he was having a bad day and that he DOESNT treat customers like this...really disappointed. This isn't for him to loose his job but its a learning opportunity for him to learn how be a good Manager (he needs more training on customer service). There's more but this is enough for now... I hope to get a call from Corporate. Mr. Elliot you deserve 0 star because you let the store, the company and your staff down, but I will not do that. I will be expecting a call from you apologizing so you can redeem yourself and make things right. After you do that I will update this review. Warm regards, JF

Waiting over 8 weeks for my furniture. Store won't answer phone, takes over 30 minutes to get through to customer service, then they can't help. Escalated up to cancel, but they have to call you back to do that, still no call. Will not be back!

Being a local business owner we take alot of time to evaluate who we conduct business with and the customer service that is provided. My poor mother went to this crooked salesman who continuously followed her around the store.....Even though she expressed she had no interest in buying a mattress he wouldn't stop nagging her . Here we are a month later waiting for the delivery of her furniture and SUNNY the sales manager wont even awnser our calls..... This is not what a reputable establishment should condone....
Updated Review: Ashley clearly invests in their Sales Team, as evidenced by Tim Fisher; however, Ashley is all smoke and mirrors. They run the transaction at the point of purchase regardless of the status of their inventory. Then, when a delivery goes sideways, they won't answer the phone. I had the delivery truck show up today (good people, contractor), but they didn't have the table. They brought the chairs, but no table. They informed me the table was on back order. What am I supposed to do with table chairs, if I have no table? They couldn't tell me anything about the back order, no revised delivery date, no phone number to call, nothing. No one at corporate will talk to customers that purchase in-store, no one in-store will answer the phone. The one time I was able to get a hold of them, when the delivery was delayed, they said that they understand communication can be improved, but there was nothing they could do about the lack of communication at this time. Tim Fisher did an excellent job! No high-pressure tactics; kind; quick. Thank you! Ashley Home Furnishings is hanging on by dedicated employees that believe in what they do. Ashley, as a corporation, is greedy, and has failed in all respects to address their shortcomings. I absolutely will not buy from them again. If I could post zero stars, I would. Sorry, Tim.

Went in looking for a lift chair for my grandma. Every single employee was sitting around playing on their phone and we had to greet them, they did not greet us. I guess they weren’t too concerned about making any sales. The soonest we could get a delivery was 3 weeks from today. I don’t see how when they obviously weren’t making any sales. Pathetic.
Once again- having an issue getting my thousands of dollars worth of furniture delivered. Was supposed to be delivered last Thursday - no call, no email. Can’t ever get through to ANYONE!! Why do I continue giving these people my money! Edited- I did finally get my order at 6pm on a Saturday after waiting around from 2-5 like I was told was the timeframe it would be delivered.

First time buyers at Ashley Home Store, I have to say it was amazing. Many different styles of furnishings to meet everyone's needs. Isaiah our sales staff was awesome, we looked until we decided with no pushing at all, we had plenty of time to look and test each piece. He would check on us and let us be to continue our search even after we decided on our furniture. Then I found my kitchen island too! Thanks Isaiah for the easiest purchase ever! Thanks Ashley Home Store, were love our furnishings and we will be back for more.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, custoomer service was awful, rude, unprofessional and inconsistent. Sunny the rep came in on his “day off” to get our sale which was over 8k and if it weren’t for my husband double checking the invoice we wouldn’t have caught the EXTRA PEICES of furniture he added WITHOUT our permission so his sales would go up! 🤬 then after we caught it he said he would have to call back office to adjust the invoice and it could take time. So we ended up at the location for over 3 HOURS!!!! This is after we walked in and told him exactly what we wanted. We ended up getting a bedroom suit AND a sectional and the service just got worse after that. They charged us for “foundation” for a king sized bed that didn’t even need it (again just to get sales up). And when it was delivered the foundation wasn’t even delivered!! Why deliver something half a**! Then when I called they said we needed bunky boards and those were another week back ordered! So we couldn’t sleep on our new bed for a whole week! Then the only thing they offered us was to waive the fee for the mattress protector we ordered but also NEVER RECEIVED with delivery! The couch that we ordered along with the bedroom suite was back ordered for 3 weeks due to corona virus( which we understood) but come the WEEK OF delivery, after I had to call to check on delivery status cause no status was given to me, they told me it was pushed back even more another 4 weeks!!!!!! After calling and talking to the manager Dustin, he discounted the invoice and ensured us that the delivery would be to us the scheduled date no later. HE EVEN INITIALED THE INVOICE!!!! Two days before the rescheduled date we FINALLY get an email confirmation that the living room suit will be delivered. Followed by the next day someone from delivery dept saying it’s ONCE AGAIN BACK PUSHED BACK TO JULY 3rd!!!! So if we order everything the same day in May 13 of 2020and now it’s not completely shipped till July 9th 2020, that is 2 months in a new home with INCOMPLETE FURNITURE!!!! And nothing has been done by the store managers. I even requested a temporary show room couch be picked up until the delivery is complete after a store employee Tim suggested it and the store manager said they no longer do that but was unable to give me a date when they stopped doing so.Also a formal complaint to corporate was filed. BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I am stripping all bedroom furniture as we speak for return and requesting the dispute in my credit for financing. Do yourself a huge favor read these reviews. DONT BUY HERE! Scam artist at their finest! I can believe these people are still in business. This review will be shared on ALL social media and review sites as well. I am a member of the chamber in the woodlands and Conroe and from the area and I will be spreading the word to all friends and family.
Store was very organized and clean. Employees and the manager were very helpful and Very knowledgeable about the furniture they were trying to sell.! We would go back to this Ashley store if we need to make another purchase.
Salesperson Sajjad Ahmed was very polite and helpful. He made sure my wife and I was put at ease with the understanding that his store met with the covid19 compliance. We had intentions of only looking at the TV entertainment center and left buying not only that but a 8x10 rug, leather electric sofa and loveseat and the protection policy to cover damages to the above items. Thank you so much for the help and sale. Looking forward to receiving my new furniture soon.

Ashley Furniture is the worst of the worst. I ordered my bed on 6/24/2020 as of today I’m still trying to get it delivered. The automated system has glitches in it and to speak with someone is impossible. If you are lucky enough to get someone it’s not the department you need and they either transfer you to the wrong department or the call drops because they don’t know how to transfer you. I have scheduled 3 deliveries and none have happened yet. Not sure about where you live but there is a great place that guarantees delivery the day of your purchase or it’s free!! Ashley Furniture can kiss my @$$ and I’ll be going to see Mattress Mac at Gallery Furniture. I have done business there and he cares about customer unlike Ashley Furniture Store.

I’ll never buy another stitch of furniture from this place or any other Ashley’s again. Cheaply made furniture and poor customer service. My most recent (and current) experience: this new chair broke and at the beginning of July (I’m talking like July 1st or 2nd) I walked in the store to see about getting this replaced as it’s still under warranty. After numerous emails, phone calls and multiple failed deliveries, as of the date of this review (9/2), I’ve YET TO HAVE THIS ISSUE RESOLVED! It’s taken 2 months and they still can’t manage to replace a chair. This is ridiculous.
HORRIBLE!! We just moved to TX & have no furniture STILL. We ordered in store 7/3, 9 weeks later our delivery has been pushed back 8 times! Once it even canceled suddenly during our delivery day during our 3 hour window without any notice what so ever. I would love to know how and why someone would reach out to me to speak to me about my delivery on 8/25 and told me multiple times I was GUARANTEED delivery of EVERYTHING on my order 9/2. EVERYTHING. Since then it’s been pushed back to 9/3 then 9/4 & now suddenly 9/8. How does a company keep scheduling all these deliveries for items that they don’t even have? People take off work and are losing money to be available to receive their orders!
Horrible delivery experience. I have had to wait 3x on the phone for 20+ minutes for nothing to happen. Trying to move the window for delivery (that I ordered in JUNE when I was home, and they told me end of July) and have called to move it and ask it be after a certain time since I teach and no one is home. This has been an awful experience. Best part? This is just PARTIAL, so I get to have the run-around again when my sofa is delivered. Ridiculous. I have to call 24 hours before (so another 30m call) to try to get my piece delivered when I am home. Get the run around and no help. Do not use their delivery if you have a friend with a truck. Good grief.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Ordered a dresser and chest of drawers late June. Was told it would be delivered August 11th. I thought that was long but was told COVID has put them behind and has extended deliveries. Okay, so I keep getting texts throughout this time confirming my delivery date of August 11th. On July 28th I get a text saying my delivery has been delayed until September 6th! I called the number to question this and stayed on hold waiting for someone to answer over 30 minutes before hanging up! On August 5th I got another text with 3 delivery dates for me to choose from. I text back requesting the first available Saturday, August 15......today!! After sending this text, I call again to confirm that I would be getting it then and was told they didn’t see that noted and that my 2 pieces of furniture We’re scheduled for 2 different days (one piece on the 11th and one piece on the 13th). I told her that did not work for me because I work from home and cannot be interrupted and to please schedule both for the 15th like I had requested. The very next day (August 6th) I received another text saying it will be delivered on August 11th again!!! I called and stayed on hold again forever and spoke with a lady that said she didn’t see anything saying it was scheduled for the 15th and confirmed I would be getting BOTH pieces on the 11th! The 11th rolls around and I get a text confirming both pieces are coming that day! Delivery driver calls before he heads to my house and only has ONE PIECE OF MY FURNITURE!!!! I told him I wanted them both at once so he said that one piece of my furniture was on back order! He said someone would call and schedule a new delivery date with me. No one ever called!! Called today (August 15), waited on hold for an hour and was told that the earliest I could get my furniture was on the 22nd of August! Another week!!!! I am beyond frustrated! I was planning on buying the nightstand also but now, I think I’ll order that from Amazon!! I will NEVER buy anything else from this company and will warn ANYONE I know looking to purchase furniture!! So frustrated!!

We went in looking for a new mattress for mom. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. We did wish they could have shown the beds at the different available heights. My aunt is looking as well but wants to try the different heights to determine what works best for her, but the beds are mostly all set to a standard in the showroom. Being on the shorter side, it is hard to determine what works best for her when you are needing to jump to get in the bed.
Honestly I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I never write reviews or anything but the service I have been given by this store location has compelled me to go out of my way to do so. I ordered a bed frame a year ago when they had a special going on and was planning on paying it off over time to raise my credit. They ended up postponing my delivery about 6 times saying the product was damaged. This first time or two was fine no big deal but when it’s been three months and I still have not received my product I decided to cancel the order because I no longer wanted to give them my business. I had gone up to the store to do so and I was told it was taken care of but I kept getting a bill for it in the mail so I called back just to make sure everything was taken care of and it was not. They claimed I did receive the furniture and it had been set up. I explained the situation and they claimed it was a mix up and everything was fine. Then after another store visit and another 10 or so calls this issue has still not been resolved. The credit company that I did the deal through is still asking me for money and the furniture store has done nothing to help my situation and my credit is being ruined. It looks like I will have to get a lawyer to get everything resolved.

As a customer who has in the past bought from This location I will not be returning to it nor any other Ashley Home Store. We went in on July 25th and selected a new dining room set. On Thursday July 30 they brought the set as scheduled. While assembling the table the butterfly leaf fell out. The delivery guy tried to hide the problem from my wife and then tried to fix it. Again it did not work and he tried to blame a loose screw and hide it from my wife. After messing with it they tried to tell her it was fixed. Wrong. The pegs and holes would not line up and allow the table to close properly. She told them we did not want a broken set we paid over $1500 for. They loaded the table and left. They left the 6 chairs. We called about a new delivery time and were told we are looking at August 10th. This is totally unacceptable as we did not break the table it was delivered broken. We should be on an immediate delivery as it was Ashley Home Stores fault and not ours. They told us they will not let us return the chairs as we have accepted them. We did not. We said we wanted a new set that was 100% functional and correct. This type of customer service is horrible and I for one will not tolerate it. Stay away from this store and this company as all they want is to get your money and they dont care about you after they do. Oh and customer service hung up on my wife when she tried to call back after berating her on the the first call.

I went in to buy two sofas for the house. My sales person was rather nice. I purchased the sofas 30 days before I needed them.
Jewell was very helpful she went above and beyond while I was in the store spending money. However I never received any kind of delivery information I try to contact my store in Jewel multiple times with no luck,so I had to call the delivery company myself and figure out what was going on with my order. At that time they told me the ottoman was on back order even though there was no mention of that when I purchased the furniture in store. I set my delivery date up for August 8th that way I could get my ottoman and my table set since they would not do a split delivery for the same order even though the tables were in stock. This morning I find out I'm no longer getting my ottoman and table on August 8th. I now have to wait till September 4th and the table that was originally available is now out of stock until September 24th. To top things off now the delivery company is telling me that they do split deliveries on the same order. So now I'll be expecting two deliveries way past the original delivery date. I will no longer be doing business with Ashley furniture.
We had good experiences with the sale person and decide that we want a storage ottoman now. We were happy with the same sale person to help us find the right ottoman that we wanted and help us to financial for 2 years with no interest which was a lot of help.
Great experience. We were allowed to look around undisturbed with no pressure, and to follow up with Martin for any questions. He took care of us with everything running smoothly! Will definitely come back for future furnishing needs.

If there were an option to give 0 stars or negative stars for Ashley Furniture, I certainly would. I ordered furniture on May 31st, 2020 and as of July 21st, 2020 we have yet to see our order. They sure have our money though! You cannot get through to a person at customer service and when you call to sit on hold, the line eventually disconnects and hangs up on you. And you cannot get a real person on the phone when you call the local Conroe store either. When you chat online the excuse you get is a run of the mill COVID excuse. We were told when we purchased our sofa would be delayed to mi-June AT THE LATEST. They call to schedule a deliver to us only to turn around a week later and call us to tell us it has been delayed yet another week - this has happened 4 times. We will NEVER purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley and I would not recommend them to anyone. If I knew what I know now, I would have gone to Gallery Furniture and gotten my stuff delivered a lot sooner and free haul off too!
We had gone in several times to look at furniture, each time the staff was very willing to help answer any questions, but also didn’t hover or over-impose. When we finally decided to purchase, Martin was easy to work with to get our order complete. He thoroughly explained what to expect and how their COVID-19 procedures and staffing may affect the timeline of our order. I didn’t realize, until he explained it, that the store and Ashley furniture online are separate companies and follow different guidelines for pricing and customer service, but I’m glad we decided to order through the store and not online.
I ordered my furniture on 7/4/2020 and was told at the time of purchase that I should hear from the delivery department the following week regarding an expected delivery date. That never happened as I haven’t heard from anyone. I was also told that I could expect to receive my furniture in 2-6 weeks, however after having to physically go back to the store to try and get some answers this 2-6 weeks appears to have just been a bait and switch to get a sale. After speaking with the sales associate and who I believe was a customer service person the computer showed the expected delivery to the customer date as 10/2021! They were quick to tell me that this date wasn’t right, however they couldn’t provide me with a concrete date I could expect my furniture. The hey tried to say how they are delayed due to COVID, however kept trying to tell me more lies like I can expect it in September but we’re just guessing at this date. They also tried to say how 15 ocean containers were coming in this upcoming week but again this was just another diversion tactic as they admitted that they didn’t know what was in the containers. It is frustrating when you pay cash for your furniture and then are mislead after the purchase and told misleading statements just to take peoples money and can’t provide a date for when I can expect to receive my furniture. No reason the parking lot is always empty as it appears Ashley Furniture is just another company that wants to just take tour money and run with it. This was a horrible purchasing experience and I’m positive that I will push everyone I know away from buying here and I definitely will never buy furniture from here again.
We had a small issue with a delivery and our sales rep, Isaiah Randeria, got on the phone withe their warehouse right away and had the issue fixed in an hour! They ended up delivering what we needed that same afternoon! The furniture looks awesome. We had company over to the house later that same day and got lots of compliments:)

What we were not ok with was when calling Ashley furniture for a week no one answered the phone. I mean no one answered! It would ring and ring and finally the line would hung up. Your folks at Ashley are all terrific. Siege sold us all our new furniture and was extremely helpful. Delivery date was different than planned but he went out of his way to ensure it got to us on time. Yesterday his Uncle sold us some pictures. He too went out of his way to ensure we paid the correct price. The pieces said $159 and the computer $179. We paid as we should. The price on the it’s hanging on the wall. Great salesmen. You’re fortunate to have them

I’ve been on the market looking for a dining room set for a while. Finally decided to stop by Ashley’s to check out their selection. We were met right away by Tim, who truly listened to us and what we were looking for, for a dining table. He knows his products, and did everything possible for us without any pressure. He answered any questions we had, explained to us the different options for us. Overall, best experience I ever had at a furniture store. Will be stopping again when the time comes for an update on any of our furniture needs.

I hate to even give one star. This place is ridiculous. I called sat on hold for 20 mintues only to get hung up on. My couch was supposed to be delivered in may we are now in july and still no couches I get theres a pandemic but why give us a estimated time if your not going to get it delivered. We could of went to a different place. This place has no customer service at all. I would definitely go somewhere else if you can.
The promised delivery dates are never accurate. They keep feeding you new delivery dates that never happen. 3rd time now and no furniture still. I bought other furniture from Rooms to Go and had a much better delivery experience.
If you find yourself in a predicament where you have to buy from Ashley furniture, ask for Martin. He is the only good part about that place. He sells there. I purchased a mattress and was laid off the next day due to COVID-19. They still charged me the cancel fee even though the furniture wasn't ready and we were not able to pick it up at the warehouse. I asked them for help since I lost my job and they stated & "I quote" that they could not help because it's not within their policy per Dustin the manager. However, when you purchase furniture, apparently it is in their policy to slash prices to become more competitive and make you take the sale. So it's all about before the sale and nothing about after the sale. They were supposed to credit the money within a week and never did. I had to call a number of times and waited over an hour and no one ever picked up. I finally had to call corporate and ironically my credit showed up the very next day. So the moral of the story is never buy furniture from Ashley furniture without getting a huge discount on the front end. Also, be expected with no service after the sale if you do have to make a purchase there. That was the last time I'll ever spend a penny there. Just don't do it, way to many better options.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEY FURNITURE: Super frustrated that our local store will NOT ANSWER THE PHONE. I need to speak to someone regarding furniture that we bought. Your delivery guys refused to even try to bring the couch we bought upstairs. They said it was “too big!” Really???? We need our money back & you have refused to do this. My husband has been up there several times & you still won’t refund us for the couch. You have basically STOLEN our money. I will be going to the BBB.

Bought a loveseat recliner. Decided after the purchase to add insurance because its electric with motors and several buttons to operate everything. They do not answer the phone which didn't make any sence to me at all. Next time I'll go to Gallery and it'll be delivered the same day.Delivery date changed twice before it was delivered. Delivery did go smooth.. Overall not impressed with Ashley furniture at all.

The worst delivery staff, they came without the mattress that we ordered. Then we were waiting for weeks to have our mattress delivered sleeping on the floor with backache (always excuses and canceling 4 times the schedule product). No more Ashley for us 👎
Great customer service! I been here at least 3 times in less then a year . I moved from new Jersey to Texas and all furniture are from Ashley. I Love that they are not on top of you. They let you look around and when you find something , you just go get them and they help you with what they can . Diffidently will come back when I buy my house for more furniture.
We have purchase almost all of our furniture from here. Our first couch was amazing and never had any issues. We bought a puppy and she chewed the arm so when we moved we bought more furniture. One year and 2 months after receiving our furniture my husband got up off the couch (200lbs) and heard a loud crack. The frame had broken. Of course it’s not under warranty. Okay not a problem. We contact Ashley’s to see what we can do to get this fixed after 4 phone calls, waiting on hold for almost 2 hours total, several emails and 2 trips to the store it was nearly impossible to pay the $30 just to schedule a technician. The 800 number said they couldn’t take payment or send invoice and that the store had to. My husband and I went two different times to make the payment in store and the “manager” said he didn’t know how and couldn’t help and we would have to come back later when the other guy who could was there. We tried calling Ashley’s and emailing the escalation team. They stated there is nothing they could do and it is what it is. This has to be the worlds worst customer service I have ever experienced. We will NEVER buy their furniture again.
I want to say the best part of the shopping experience was that the sales staff let us explore without pressure. It makes a big difference. We can concentrate on what we want and find what makes us happy with no pressure
I dont like leaving bad reviews but I dont want first time buyers to be in the same position we were in. When we first walked in all the workings just looked at us and didn't greet or offer assistant (which for the first time we really needed it). The guy did NOT listen to what we needed at all and tried to sale us the high dollar amount on mattress. Memorial day sale signs were all over the building when I asked what sale can we get he said that ended 05/31/20. Its 6 days later and all signs are up and my email stated the sale extended (the reason we stopped by). When we got to the 10% amount needed down he double the amount thinking we wouldn't catch what he did. DON'T LET THESE PEOPLE PUSH YOU. We went to rooms to go and got more furniture and better quality for half the price.

TERRIBLE SERVICE . I ordered some couches back in the beginning of may and I was texted when I wanted my delivery date to be. I chose june 4th, because that was the closet date. never received a call when they were coming Even when they said they were going to call me 48 hrs prior. I called them and was a hold for more than 40 mins both times and I was hung up on both times. Terrible customer service. Still dont even know the status of my couches.
Salespeople wasn't really trying to sale us anything. They let us walk in without greeting us and walked around until we had to ask someone to help us. If you wanted to sale something you would greet people at the door. If I could give no stars I would.
I made an appointment and Tim called to be sure of what we wanted. We got there and he immediately took us to the items he picked out for us. He found our perfect piece and we purchased and it will be delivered in 3 days! Exceptional customer service. Will definitely return for future purchases!

Our sales person Tim, was the right balance of supportive and no pressure. He was very informed of his product and was able to help us make a great decision. However, there was a negative customer experience as it related to their policy of in-store financing versus using your own financing i.e. credit card. Their policy is to charge the card today for product that they could not provide an estimated delivery date for. I feel it is unreasonable to expect a customer to bear the risk of the transaction when the store cannot even provide an estimated delivery date. The customer should not be charged until the product is received. That is plain and simple.
Had to buy some new furniture, it was time. Out of all the places we went to we were happy with the selection and staff. Purchased our furniture and was not much of a hassle.
I've been to 3 different furniture stores today looking for a leather sofa. Macy's, Bassett, Conn's, and finally came here to Ashley's. All the stores treated me well but Ashley's had the best pricing, best option for the protection plan, as well as fast delivery lead time. I compared the customer reviews of all the sofas that I had considered in all stores, and again Ashley's store beat the competition. I'm not saying come here first but it will likely be your last stop after considering the competition. Thanks Kamron for a smooth transaction.
The Conroe Texas store location lacks serious professionalism within the leadership which has affected their sales team. Insulting, rude, argumentative, defensive, is how I would describe my experience with Ryan the so called manager. They care more about the sale than the customer. Do not shop at this location.
Very nice store. The sales staff was very and do not follow you around and pester you if you don’t want them to. Matin Carrera took the time to explain all options and was accommodating to the changes we wanted to make. It was a pleasurable experience.

We are never disappointed with the selection to choose from, even though the prices are a bit high. Today we were looking for a piece of furniture to put outside in our covered patio area where we could place our TV, electronics, and also store a few other items. We found exactly what we wanted. We are looking now to replace our sofas! Always a good shopping experience.

Everything has held up over the years so it’s been a great investment.. Tim in Conroe has helped me the last two times. And I will definitely be having him help me in the future.. he is kind, helpful, and isn’t pushy at all which I Love! I just ordered a couch today and very excited for my new edition to arrive!

**** UPDATE****** We are now on the third delivery reschedule. Each time it's canceled because the warehouse does not have the items, they are scheduling deliveries, require me to be home while I wait then they don't call to cancel the delivery, they just send a new email of a different delivery date time window. Can't return it and we're not getting our furniture. I have also reached out to the replies to my reviews and little to no response about helping the matter. I rarely write negative reviews on a store, but after dealing with them twice and both times being horrible, I would NOT recommend buying from them. After trying to purchasing 2 different beds from them, their customer service experience has been horrible and their policy are not honest. First time the bed was delivered almost 3 weeks after purchase, which was broken. So they had to take it back. Then we waited a week with no call, so I called them to find out the bed was on back order and it would be months before we received the bed. So was asked to cancel and get a refund, which took a month to get our refund. Second time, which was just this past week. We went into purchase another bed. The bed was to be delivered in 2 days, we thought great! They show up with only part of the bed. The rest the delivery guy said he didnt know where it was, his papers say it all should be in the truck. He called corporate and they said that all the parts were showing at the warehouse and he doesn't know why or how they weren't delivered and when the truck gets back tonight they will give us an ETA on the remaining delivery. The drive advised us to call the store to get the ETA, we called the store and I was informed by a very rude representative that the parts are under a manufacturer's delay, I told her that if I couldn't get the bed delivered soon I'd like to just return what I received today and cancel everything else. The representative said that they cant do anything about the order, and for the first time they informed me since I received part of my order I can't return anything I have no option but to wait until I get the rest of the bed when they have availability to bring it to me. She was short, and had a rude annoyed tone, no rush to fix their mistake, no apology. I will just have to wait to receive the rest when it arrives at the warehouse and then wait till there is an available truck to deliver it. ETA is unknown right now. So my sons room just has parts of a bed in pieces for who knows how long. Sales person failed to inform us that once we receive the bed, or even a piece of it, there is no refund Delivery service once again failed to be completed with out delays or mistakes Representative to rectify their mistakes was rude and didn't resolve anything. There has not been a pleasant experience with Ashley Furniture. I cant fathom how they are considered number 1. We will not be purchasing anything with them again, and we will recommend people to shop else where. And I recommend to all who read this that if you want a pleasant experience after spending $1000.00+ on your furniture go else where.

Visited the store shopping for an electric recliner. I told the salesperson what I wanted and he answered any and all questions I had without any pressure. He showed me several different models that were both, less and more expensive than the model I liked, but agreed that the model I originally chose seemed to fit me best. I'll visit this showroom again for my next purchase.

The overall experience was less than acceptable. Ordered our furniture on Jan 3 during a BIG sale. The bedroom set was one that was advertised on the flyers etc. Initially we had no problems with waiting due to an upcoming vacation. However just prior to our vacation we were told that the furniture would be further delayed/back-ordered. Returning from vacation we checked on the order to find that it still was not available. now two months later we were able to pick up a portion of the order. I called customer service to inquiry what the delay was and was told, very specifically, that they do not have items readily available after the purchase. That got me to throw the BS flag. I was told that they "custom make" furniture. I asked, "like asking the Amish to build something"? They said YES. HAHAHAHA!!!! I argued that point to no end. Upon opening the box the first thing I see is the sticker on the back in bold lettering, "Made in Vietnam"!! I hate being LIED to. Please people, in today's "connected" world there is too much information available to get away with bold, blatant, lies.
Samantha was a very friendly & knowledgeable salesperson. However, Conn's furniture offers free next day delivery on all purchases over $2000, but I just spent $5000 at Ashley & still had to pay a $300 delivery charge & I have to wait a week for my furniture to arrive. Ashley does have a much cheaper selection than Conn's though.
Their bedspreads sets are beautiful, however the quality is poor. I bought a king size set and the bed skirt is falling apart. The rest of the materials are in good condition. Very unusual. I called the store and they wouldn't even look at it. Customer Service lacks curtesy for customers.

We will never purchase furniture from Ashley again. I am being more than gracious by giving them one star. We ordered beds on December 23, 2019. We paid for the furniture in full at the time of purchase. They have been delivered twice, both times being damaged. After speaking with Anne Marie, the manager of the Conroe store, all they would do for me is return my delivery fee. I have spoken to numerous people from Houston and New Braunfels call centers and no one can or will help me. it is February 13 and we are now trying to schedule a THIRD delivery date. Their customer service is awful. We are just shy of 8 weeks post ordering this furniture. No one should have to wait this long and no one from Ashley is helping to make this right.

So after 2 weeks of sleeping on a couch or air mattress my mattress was finally going to be delivered today. Here I am super excited because it was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago. Nobody called nobody said anything I had to call and they cancelled the order. I don’t even think I have any options at this point. The 5 piece couch and half the bed was delivered like a piece at a time. Someone had to be here every time and I just moved to the area and don’t know anyone and work all the time. Everything about this experience has been the worst! It’s not like it’s cheap either. So I don’t know when I’ll get a bed but they will probably text me in a couple days and reschedule. I don’t know. Just go somewhere else. They will tell you whatever they need to when you sign everything then delivery is a nightmare!
Isiah provided really great customer service. All of my questions were answered and I was not put into a position to make a pressured decision. I had a great experience and I know feel more confident in the mattress that I decide to purchase.

We had issues with an Ashley Home Store in New York 2 years ago with the Protection Plan on a couch we bought, but we like the furniture there so we decided to just buy from them again. Buying here in Conroe was easy! We bought our dining room table from them! The sales person, Kevin was moving chairs all over the sales floor for us bc I’m picky and liked different chairs from different sets. We ended up going with a standard set but he helped us figure it out!
This store is 0-2 with me. I swore I'd never come back but my gf found a bed frame she wanted. They've rescheduled my delivery twice the day b4 its arrival. Then they call and tell me I have to come sign some paperwork to get it delivered. The person who sold me the furniture was professional and great to work with, but this company as a whole is a freaking joke.

So disrespectful... my husband and I was getting married and we bought the bed and rails a month before our weeding. We got the bed but not the rails . We’ve been going to the warehouse 4 times and every time something different. Once they called in the morning saying it was ready, we got there in the afternoon and they said they have to somebody else... what ?? First come first service? We paid for it a month before it happened... supposed to be there... if they called us hours before.. Another time they called and said it was ready and when we got there... nothing.. nothing at the warehouse, they just said we have to talk to the customer service. This is so disrespectful and disappointed, we just bought what we really needed... we could have spent our money on something else for our house but we had priorities and sleep comfortable was our priority. I used always to buy stuff from Ashley, for my in-law.. aunt but after that we don’t want to take the chance... We just wanted our rails now we really don’t know if we wanted ... so humiliating.. we paid for something and we are begging for our product.. we are married and no product and no money to buy in another place

I’m a very indecisive person and made a few trips to the store and received EXCELLENT customer service each time and they were very patient with me. Even when I went in a month before I was able to purchase (due to closing on a new home) I still received the same service and kindness. These guys are the best!! Make sure you ask for them when you go in. Also, Ashley has great quality furniture at very reasonable prices, glad I went in!

It was horrible. I had heard bad things about Ashley but thought i would try it anyways and the service i received was awful. I will never purchase anything there again and i will not recommend anyone to buy furniture there.
UPDATE 2-23-20- down to 1 star now. Emailed the owner as requested by the owner, no response. Furniture delivered last night with damage. Now I have to wait on a"Craftsman" to come and see if it can be fixed. Just ridiculous!! Salesman very nice. Awesome in fact. However, after spending $4K in cash on new furniture it is now January and we still do not have it. When we bought it we were told that it would be delivered on January 7. At that time I disclosed that we would be out of town and unable to accept the delivery and the salesman stated that that would not be an issue. " Just let them know when they call and it won't be an issue for them to come a few days later." Well, I did call and was given the earliest next date available of January 15. Here I am thinking that all is well, but no. I get an EMAIL stating that the delivery will be here on January 22!!! I called customer service to be told, "we sent you a text" and "there is nothing we can do" and there is no note that i ever called, just that i missed the delivery because I didn't call to confirm...NO!! I NEVER got a text and I CALLED and rescheduled, and was given a date... tried speaking with a supervisor to be put on hold for over 20 minutes. Called the number I used to rescheduled initially and spoke with a very nice Lady named Latoya, she stated that there were "remnants" of the initial call that I made to reschedule but there was not an actual note made. She apologized for the trouble but was unable to get an earlier date. I asked to be contacted back by a supervisor and was told that I would within 24 hours. It has now been 2 days and NOTHING! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! We will see if my furniture ever comes or if anyone ever contacts me back. UGGGGG
Called customer service to see when some bed rails I purchased over a month ago will be delivered and I got no help. I've been to the store to pick up my rails 4 and everytime it's a different story. Customer service called me and told me my bed rails were ready and I go to the store to pick up and theres no inventory of the bed rails being there. They said their on back order so I called customer service to get an answer and they told me they cant help me since it was an instore purchase which makes no damn sense. I I paid for what I bought and cant even get my product it's been over a month.
I could not recommend this place more. They are so awesome. Especially Courtney & Sunny. They did everything they could to help us get a new bed frame and even got some night stands as well. After spending the last week visiting mannnnyyy other furniture stores in town, this was the only one that actually got me to commit to a bed. Thank y’all for being so awesome!🥰✨

My wife and I visited this store to see if we could see a couple sectionals in person that we had viewed on the website. The store only had one of the sectionals in the store, and the salesman explained not all items on the website are actually in the stores. We were very pleased to see that one sectional though, because it was much larger than we imagined and not really the material we wanted. The salesman was very kind and patient with us, and showed us some of the other similar sectionals that might fit our needs. We ended up finding the perfect one that was even better than what we imagined.
Everything was great! The only negative would be a month delay on our purchase being delivered!
We were greeted immediately by a very knowledgeable store associate. She listened carefully to what we were looking for and took us to sit in 3 or 4 options. Once we decided to buy, she brought her tablet computer to us and we completed the sale in the comfort of the furnature we were purchasing. Truly an amazing experience. The whole process took less than 30 minutes.

My wife and I visited the Ashley HomeStore a couple of weeks ago interested in recliners. We talked to Isaiah and he was great to deal with. He was very knowledgable about the chairs and the financing and delivery setup. Unfortunately, we were not approved for the financing we wanted so we left. Then a week or so later, we recieved our Ashley Aadvantage cards in the mail. So today we went back. Isaiah wasn't there but Muhamed was just as helpful and got us set up with exactly the chairs we wanted with 6 months interest free financing. We can hardly wait to take delivery of our new furniture.
We found a beautiful power sofa and recliner, can’t wait to get them home. Kamran, was a delight and very helpful without that high pressure you get from some sales staff. We will be back for the rest of our furniture needs.
After looking online at the Ashley store I decided to go in after having some issues with the website. A sales agent Sam met us at the door and showed us around. She was able to help me get everything I needed and explained the financing specials. It was a great experience and I look forward to going back to shop.

It sounds like I am having the same type of experience most others are on here. We ordered our furniture on 11/12/2019 with delivery set for 12/02/2019. Not only have they delivered only half of my furniture but I have a bill that’s due. We have exhausted ourselves with calling the store and dealing with people who have no authority to do anything. We just called the finance company to tell them we aren’t paying a note on furniture we don’t have. They informed us that the store is not supposed to charge the account for furniture that hasn’t been delivered. We are filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office. It sounds like we could all band together for a class action lawsuit for deceptive business practice.
I ordered online. Delivery was set for Tuesday. I got a call that weekend and I got a text to confirm. Tuesday I was supposed to wait from 10-1. 12 came around and I called. The item wasn't on the truck! I even got a text saying that they'd be here in 15 mins. The girl on the phone then said she'd have the delivery scheduled for Saturday as I work during the week and I had missed work that day (I don't get paid for personal hours I take off and I'm a single mother) and would call me the next day to confirm. I didn't get any communication the next day. This morning I look at my order online and see the delivery is set for Thursday. I send an email. No response all day. I call at 6pm. I'm on hold for 30 mins. The first girl that answers, Ashley, said that the item was supposed to come in on Thursday but that the day wasn't set in stone. She was going to try and get it delivered Saturday but she couldn't assure me because she wasn't part of 'delivery.' She transferred me over. Delivery said they might be able to get it delivered on the 18th. I then asked if they could just deliver to the store. She said she called the store but was on an extended hold and told me to call the store myself. I asked about being refunded the delivery fee. She said that should be OK. I asked if, just in case, my delivery could still be left for the 18th. She then said that the day was no longer available. I call the local Ashley. They tell me they can get it delivered to the store but can't do anything on their end about the refund and I"ll have to call the corporate number again. Mind you, at this point I've wasted about 6-7 hours of MY TIME fixing THEIR problems. I missed work for THEM to WASTE MY TIME. (drum roll please) What'll happen next? They won't get the single chest of drawers until next year?! Wow. Just WOW.

We had an excellent experience with our sales person at Ashley in Conroe. The nightmare started when the delivery date was changed because one of the pieces could not be delivered. Since then, this has been the worst furniture buying after purchase possible to get things FIXED on our brand new living room set. I still have damaged furniture and no one can confirm the date they have given to me is not going to be changed on my delivery. Customer Care tells you to call the store and vice versus. They DO NOT truly care about your purchase or if there is anything wrong. They say they will make it right, but I am almost 60 days into and they have not made it right. We are still battling and chasing our tail in a circle. This entire company is a joke. They have my money and do not care one bit of making things better and making sure I am a repeat customer. I wish I had read reviews PRIOR to even walking into this store.

What a horrible experience we went in picked out a recliner set up for next day delivery no call no show had to call them then at 6:20 pm we are told be another week or i can come pick it up from them in 3 days what was the point for scheduling then and wasting my day waiting and wondering thanks for nothing Update 12/30/19 I did what this rep asked me to do responded with my information and have heard nothing they truly don’t care don’t waste your time here
Very unprofessional. Got delivery address messed up. Would not make it right and kept pushing my delivery date out due to their mistake.
If I could give 0 stars I would do just that. My husband and I went in to the Conroe location on November 4 to purchase a sectional for our living room. They told us it wouldn’t be available for a whole month but they guaranteed us it would be available before Christmas so we said that was fine. Forward almost 2 months later and they have cancelled on us 4 times and we only have half a sectional that they are wanting a payment for on January 7th! How are we suppose to pay for a sectional we have not even been able to enjoy yet. Every time I try to reach the Conroe location it just sends me to the phone center somewhere else in the United States. I will never purchase anything else from this place again!
We learned our lesson. Do not buy from a big chain store like this. It is ran like an inefficient government operation. I think it is because they are so big of an operation that they simply don't care after you pay them.
My daughter and her husband bought furniture from the Conroe location and they have been put through the ringer. Ashley furniture has the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Their furniture arrived on the 14th of December completely ruined! The whole bedroom set! So my poor daughter and her husband have been sleeping on the floor in their new home! Now they have delivery for New Year’s Eve and they are the last on the list so they are going to miss Christmas Eve service with our family! We called corporate and Chanella was SO RUDE! Offering now compensation for the inconvenience! I own a business and I will NEVER refer Ashley furniture or the CONROE LOCATION to anyone!!! PLEASE don’t WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
My husband and I went into the Conroe location two months ago to pick out our bedroom set. We were so excited to have our delivery set up for December 14th. Sunny helped us out in the store . Well.... December 14th came .. move in date and when the delivery showed up our whole bedroom set was literally shattered and completely ruined. We cannot get one piece of furniture. So we send everything back, spoke to the general manager at the Conroe location… Who was extremely rude and offered no compensation or anything. We then called corporate and they have completely put us in circles! We have a new delivery date set and now they are saying it will be at 8 o’clock at night on Christmas Eve where my family was supposed to go to Christmas service. So we again called corporate and the people at corporate were so rude again offering no compensation or anything and they pretty much told us that we are SOL and they don’t care. So I 1,000,000% do not recommend purchasing your furniture through Ashley furniture. They are absolutely so rude and your furniture will show up destroyed!!! So completely disappointed in the Conroe location and with corporate! Chanella from corporate is the absolute worst! Conroe location - management is horrible! DON’T waste your time or MONEY!

Their internet states returns allowed within 30 days of purchase only to find out that each store is individually owned, or so they told me, and the return only applies to internet purchases. Apparently the store policy is akin to sorry bud you bought it and now it's yours. ZERO TOLLERANCE
My wife and I purchased furniture a month ago on 11/2/2019. The furniture was going to be delivered by 11/4/2019 and we were notified right after our purchase that it would take 11 days for it to be delivered (they said the furniture was suddenly on back order), so we cancelled our purchase in order to purchase other furniture that could be delivered on time from another company. It's been a month and my bank is still disputing the credit card charge and I was trying to get my cash back from that purchase. I went to the Conroe store multiple times and a manager named Martin notified me that I would have to go through the whole process of calling the Ashley furniture number. He was nice, but could not help me. I called the Conroe number for Ashley Furniture, which takes you to the MAIN call center for Ashley Furniture, so expect to wait a good while on the phone and pray you are not hung up on! This morning, I called and dialed ext 4 for customer service twice this morning and was hung up on both times after holding for 8 minutes each time. After that, I decided to just dial ext 2 for current orders. I held for half the time & spoke to Christina, who was very helpful and told me the status of my refund. I am still giving a 1 star review due to the fact that this company is terrible with communication and the fact that they couldn't even bother to email us of the updates of our refund. Also, they need to hire more people or give people the opportunity to give their phone number to an automated system, that way they have the option of being called back instead of holding for a while.
Do not purchase from this store! We were told we could look at the item at the warehouse to see if we like the color. We didn't like the color. They are refusing to give us a refund on an item we haven't even picked up. I was told if I didn't like the color I could get a refund. They omitted the part where they would keep 10% of my money. The store manager told me his regional manager would not let him give me a 100% refund. When we asked for the Regional Managers name and email address, we were asked "why would I give that to you?" We've called several times and they are lying to us and flat out won't give us our money back. We are having to contact our bank to dispute charges. Kevin & Ryan are extremely misleading people. Do not trust!!!
Bought 2 couches sales man told me I had 30 days to return them, what they didn’t say was once you sign the delivery slip it voids the 30 day return. I was having my house painted and could not stay there for a week, so I had them delivered and they set in the kitchen under plastic. Once I was able to set them in my living room I decided I did not like them and wanted to return them, but then found out the 30 day return was a just a sales pitch. The worst part is the sent me 2 different color browns as well. Found out Ashley Furnitures were individual owned so it’s on the Conroe store for not honoring their return policy. If I could rate them -5 stars I would.
This place is a joke the order was scheduled a week away from the date of purchase then when they delivered the bed they didn’t bring the mattress have been calling the Conroe store for hours and can’t even get someone on the phone absolutely use someone else I will never do business with them again wish I would have spent my money else where and saved myself the headache called customer service there’s a no return policy as well so now my 8 month pregnant girlfriend doesn’t have anything to sleep on tonight

I would stay far away from this store. Order online is my best suggestion. I can't get anyone on the phone, especially my salesman. Just had my order delivered (I use that term loosely) on the 19th. 1) The sectional is backwards, even though I repeated myself 20 times that I wanted the chaise and the sofa opposite of the floor model, it was ordered wrong by my salesman and now I have a sectional that I paid good money for, that is not the way I wanted it. 2) I received my dining room table, but not my dining room chairs and NO ONE let me know anything about my chairs not coming. 3) The day before my delivery, I was called and told that the twin mattress I ordered didn't arrive at the warehouse, so I wouldn't be getting it and I wasn't given an estimate on when I will. I can get on Amazon or the website and order it and have it by tomorrow. The worst part of ALL of this, I paid around $250 more in store than I would have online because I figured I would receive better service and wouldn't have to worry about any of what has happened. This is the first time I have ever bought brand new furniture and Ashley HomeStore has ruined it for me. Not a single thing on my order was 100% correct and I can't get ANYONE to do a thing about it. At this point, I figure I am going to have to go in to the store and cause a scene in order to make anything happen.
Poor customer service and follow through regarding orders. Inability to make things right. My first negative experience at Ashley furniture. Will not be back to this location. ***UPDATE 10/10/19 I was hoping this would be resolved by now. It has not been. To shed some light on the back story, I have been working on getting the correct accessories I ordered 8/31/19. I was assured the accessories would be “NO problem” by my sales associate. I have received 3 shipments so far. 1. Incorrect accessories 2. One of three correct accessories 3. Most recently, A repeat of the correct accessory and a box of pillow stuffing (this is not a joke. An entire box of stuffing.) After much back and forth I was told the pillows i ordered and paid for were on back order and due to be delivered 10/7. NOW they are “due to be delivered” sometime around 10/21. I am shocked and beyond frustrated this has yet to be made right.
2 weeks ago i went into the Conroe store looking for a bedroom set. I started out with one sales man then they brought in the closer named Sunny. After about 2 hours and $7750 00 i had my set amd a delivery for a week out Then 2 days before i get a call saying it would be another week because the mattress was out of stock. I called the store and spoke to Sunny who ask me if he could call me back. I am still. waiting for that call. Very bad customer service. I got my bed today and have to say i am very happy with my. Purchase.
Absolutely terrible customer service when it comes to getting your order and delivery right. bought a bedroom set and coffee table and everything came separate and now they’re telling me the coffee table was never on the order when i’m looking at the receipt. Also they never pick up the phone. Full of excuses and lies
Went in for a Mattress and they are all over te he showroom. Lots of help in the showroom not back in the Mattress area.
We went to 3 furniture stores in search of a couch for our new house. This was by far the best. All the prices were around the same except rooms to go had a smaller couch with the tables, lamp and rug for about 500 more than Ashley's. But with that said, the Ashley furniture was made better in my opinion and Tim Fisher was the sale man that helped us. He was great!! He took way better care of us and worked a great deal whereas the guy at rooms to go seemed more like we we're not a priority at all and he said they don't work deals with ppl. The price just is what it is but they can adjust what particular table we get. Honestly the lack of salesmanship and willingness to negotiate pushed me out the door. We compared and went back to Ashley's to buy. We are excited to get the couch and coffee table we got next week!
Ordered a bed frame almost a month ago and still haven’t received it due to the railings being damaged which that’s fine I understand but they called and told me that a few days after ordering and said that they’d have new ones in very shortly and rescheduled the delivery. Then proceeded to reschedule the delivery about 5 more times. I tried getting into contact with the store several times and only once did I get into contact with someone at the store and they put me on hold until the line disconnected. The salesman (the floor manager I believe) bragged about their delivery service and how fast it was and I just fail to see it. Needless to say if and when I finally get into contact with someone from the store I’ll be cancelling my order and taking my business else where.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Purchased tables instore with delivery charge (from manager David Inabnit), then looked online at home and they were HALF PRICE. Called store manager and he would only cancel order and still charge me 10% fee and didnt refund delivery charge! SCAM ARTIST!
Absolute worst customer service. How many days off must one schedule to complete a single bedroom? So, here we go. Bedroom set picked out and delivered via mobile website image. Unbeknownst to us, headboard has curvature. Apparently, there's some silly return policy about rejecting the delivery with the delivery crew. You take the day off so that you can see your headboard for the first time and have, maybe 5 minutes to decide whether or not it will fit the room. Didn't know this. Store was not accommodating at all. Called customer service to see what could be done to resolve the issue. This is where things get fun. In short, they graciously offered to allow us to return the unwanted furniture so long as we buy product equal or greater in value. Okay - time for a new mattress. Delivered a defective mattress. Don't you worry - we rejected it this time. Well, because we rejected the DEFECTIVE product, they wouldn't deliver any of the product at all. Won't even dive into the lack of communication but, WE called THEM today (the new delivery date) to see if we could get a more accurate delivery timeframe and... Boom. Won't be delivering today either. The new one is defective as well. How many defective mattresses do you carry?! So, now they are wanting to set the delivery date to NEXT Saturday. Not this Saturday. Next. This is simply absurd.
We had a great experience at this location! David was extremely helpful and friendly and even stayed after hours to help us find the perfect mattress. We appreciate your kindness and great customer service. Thank you!

Went here on June 2nd to look at some living room furniture. We were looking at a love seat and sofa. They had an extended Memorial Day sale going on and decided on a sofa because it was only twenty dollars more than the love seat. Delivery was going to take two weeks. Two weeks later I get a delivery confirmation but it said they were delivering a love seat. I called and they verified it was a love seat. I called the store and told them it needed to be changed to the sofa and was told by the office manager it would be $200.00 more for the sofa. I told him that was not right and wanted to cancel the order, then he said I would have to pay a 10% restocking fee. After several minutes of asking why I had to pay for the salesman mistake he didn’t have an answer. I went to the store and spoke with the store manager and the best she said she could do was for me to pay an extra $46.00. This ordeal showed me that this place does not care about customer satisfaction and I will never shop here again.
'Great First Experience and Great Service' went in hoping to find a power lift chair for Dad and I did and the whole finance process wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, Thank Y'all again!

Nice selection. Learned that they manufacture their offerings and what to look for in a well constructed piece of furniture. There is some employee pride there and that reflects in service.
The sales guy was nice. After that it was a downhill slope. You can only speak to sassy staff members (if you’re lucky enough to not get the voicemail) and if you speak to a manager they truly lack customer service. They are all full of excuses and empty promises. Our rug delivery went from 3-4 to 4-6 to 6-8 weeks and here we are two months later with no rug. You might be thinking, “why not just cancel the rug?” THAT’S WHAT WE’VE BEEN TRYING TO DO FOR 2 WEEKS NOW. First guy says he can take it off, next guy says he can take it off but it’ll be a challenge. But we’re still being billed for it. There is no higher management who can help you. Do yourself a favor and just shop small, avoid this place. I’m sure Ashley furniture will respond to this saying “we appreciate your feedback blah blah blah” just like they have said to everyone else who gave them one star, but until they either fix the issue or come up with some type of resolution I won’t feel that my feedback was “appreciated”.
Be careful buying from this location they will charge things to you that you never receive and they will tell you 5 different times that they have returned it have not

*update* wow been fighting this battle for over a month. 3rd attempt to get my furniture. What a surprise another failure. Made my order April 6th. It is now may 16th. At this point I'll be lucky to have what I ordered and paid partially for by 2030. Do they know what the definition of insanity is. To make things worst they seem to keep saying they understand if they understood this wouldn't happen twice now they have tried to deliver damaged furniture. If they gave a damn as much as the 1 person that has been trying to help in the situation they would change their practice. Maybe they should look it up. Wrong couch ordered by sales person waited 2 weeks for delivery to find out. Went back and nothing can be done by the warehouse or at store level until manager approves it. But of course it's a holiday and hes not at the store.
We received our couch (later than originally scheduled delivery) damaged and too big for our living room. We contacted customer service who told us to contact the store. I called the store throughout the day with no answer and no returned calls. We are very dissatisfied with our experience. Would not recommend doing business with this store. Our store rep was Sunny who did not respond to our calls or texts once we got the furniture and we were dissatisfied. We also bought a dining table and chairs and our previous living room furniture from them as well as other furniture throughout the years. It seems as though customer service has gone down the tubes with them. I personally find amazon much more convenient with excellent customer service and comparative quality furniture.
Ashley furniture is a 5 star, the finance company they do business with is a joke and deminishes the furniture store. The problem was resolved with Syncrony. Your staff was very helpful. I adjusted the review to 5 star.
Terrible terrible business transaction and Customer Service!! I went in and ordered a $1000 lift chair for my Mother and the delivery was delayed an extra week. She had surgery and needed it now! Come to find out the chair isnt working right. It didnt even come with a manual to operate it, then they sent 3 techs out to try and fix it within a 4 month period and they didnt speak English. So, I called Customer Care Service to complain and see why they can't bring her out a new chair. They told me that they cant exchange a floor model😫😖🙁 Well, who told me I was paying a$1000 for a floor model!!! Really. Poor poor customer service at Ashley Homestore and dont waste your money on the junk they are selling at high cost!!! If only i could have listed a negative star i would have... Wish I could give this location more stars but the customer service is non existent. Instead of making our purchase online we decided to go to the store, the sales people were friendly didn't hassle us and we ended up spending more than we planned. Our couch was delivered earlier than expected but the ottoman wasn't with it. The delivery guy called customer service and the lady claims it'll be another 5-6 weeks for delivery, which is ridiculous because it was a clearance item at the store that the delivery guy litterally passed to get to my house. So we go to the store in person to see what could be done but we're told by Tim that the best he could do was to refund $20 of the $149.99 "white glove" delivery fee and we take it with us after informing us that and quote "there were at least 3 other similar complaints that I'm currently dealing with". Needless to say we ask for the situation to be escalated, he claimed the only way was via email and that he wasn't sure when we could expect a response. As of now I haven't had any rsoultion in regurads to my ottoman. So I am only let to asume that once you spend your money any issues after delivery apparently are your own, even if it's the stores mistake.
Employees are decent, but the corporate ppl are horrible. Takes 2 to 3 weeks just to get a dining room table. When I received my table it was dented and damaged so I refused it! Was told I cant be compensated since I missed work, which is their fault that the table is damaged and not mine. So now I have to miss another day of work for the new table delivery. Told me if I wanted to return it it would be a 10% charge, the reason I want it returned is cause it's damaged. I can see if I just changed my mind but I was given a faulty table and now me and my family have to improvise because we now have no table to eat on until they ship us a new one and who knows when that will be. I AM NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!
The Customer experience for me and my wife went from good, to horrible in a matter of minutes. The sales guy, Sunny (President Club Member) at the Conroe, Texas store approached us when we walked in. To make the long story short, we purchased about $4700 dollars in furniture that day. After falling in love with the furniture, that we spent hours looking at, Sunny proceeded to tell us that Ashley Furniture was out of stock and would be over a month before it would be delivered to our home...... WHY WAS THIS NOT STATED BEFORE WE WASTED OUR TIME?!? We would of chosen another piece of furniture... So, we said Yes because we loved the pieces of furniture and paid cash for all $4700 of it.... Then we get our receipt, and ALL the dates were different then what Sunny disclosed to us... On top of that, a desk chair (Which was overpriced, but we purchased because we wanted a One Stop Shop) find out the office chair would not be delivered until MAY 28 2019?! Over two months!!!! This is laughable...... So we escalated everything with Cheyenne (Assistant Manager) and still have heard nothing back and its been over 48 hours since I brought my concern to the store Ashley's In Conroe, Texas. As a customer, the experience has been HORRIBLE!! I guess will go to Amazon next time, and get the two day delivery.... No wonder companies like Amazon are taking over, they have it figured out.. They take care of the customer... (Period) Good Luck Ashley's Furniture!
Walked around and 3 salespeople just walked by an never asked if we needed help.
So my order was to be delivered on February 18th, the order was brought incomplete and I wasn't informed until the morning of, that it would be so. So I scheduled the missing items to be delivered on the February 26th, so that someone would be home to accept the delivery and no one would have to take time off to accept the delivery. I assumed all was well, but I gave Ashley a call on February 25th just to make sure everything would be delivered as scheduled, on the 26th. Nope. Apparently I was rescheduled without notice for the 28th, so now I have to miss more time at work because or this incompetent store. That's twice now that my order was messed up, and twice now that I'll have to miss work. Every other furniture store that I got furniture from, had zero issues with the orders and deliveries. Even worse Ashley was the only store I actually paid delivery for. Never ordering another thing from this place.
They couldn't deliver what I needed for two weeks. I was ready to buy right there on the spot.

Okay, my wife and I spent 5 hours at a major furniture store in Houston. Service was excellent but prices were “WOW” high. On our way home, decided to stop at Ashley Furniture in Conroe. There we were “no pressure” approached by a sales person by the name of Joey McGill. This guy went out of his way helping us with finding what we wanted. We ended up purchasing a sofa and two recliner chairs for our condo. Their warehouse had the items, and delivery was scheduled on Tuesday (4 days later). Paid cash and saved 20%....and over $1500 from what the Houston giant wanted. I recommend if you decide to shop there; you ask for Joey.

Great customer service! My salesman Isaiah, was incredible. He was very knowledgeable, caring for our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. I will come to him again for any of our home furniture needs. Couldn't be happier.
I currently live on 1488 and I decided to chose this location over another one due to customer service, as soon as I walked in about a week ago to this location I was greeted by Sam, and wow she’s wonderful!! She helped us out on every aspect and answer every single question we had! We told her we were going to come back on Saturday the 5th and as soon as we walked in the store we were happy to see her again! As well as we were greeted by the manager nice and friendly. We will continue to come to this location to keep making business with you guys. Great job today Sam and team!
