We had a great experience at Ashley. The staff was patient, knowledgeable, and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. We were able to take our time testing mattresses and asking questions, which really mattered to us. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop. Overall, a smooth and stress-free experience. Came to Ashley to find a chair suitable for my husband. He has Parkinsons and needs a comfortable chair stable enough to support his weight when getting up and down and small enough to hold his eating tray. Stopped by Ashley in Decatur with a specific bar chair in mind. Saw another and fell in love with it. But they had two and we needed four. That’s when we saw how much staff there is dedicated to providing customers with the shopping experience designed to give them what they fall in love with. In a very short length of time, other Ashley stores were contacted and my chairs were now four! In a style I love, and no one can duplicate in the future. My thanks to everyone who worked a moment or two to get us what we fell in love with.

My daughter and I met Charles and immediately recognized his knowledge of Ashley's interior home furnishings. His demeanor was very professional and focused as we informed him of our interests. We were shown items he determined would meet our needs and indeed we did find just what we were searching for. He did all that for us; after our purchase we left with a smile and confidence in our choice and in Charles. And now for our appreciation of Decatur Ashley Store itself. As we walked in their spacious show room, the appealing atmosphere perked our interest immediately. Selections of beautiful furniture pieces and accessories were arranged in a manor which put light on the individual pieces; this spoke to me of their understanding of customer's expectations. We will return as further needs come our way.

Very clean store. Helpful staff. I had to make several trips to get all the details ironed out with my supervisor. But I was able to get what I needed with no pressure. Worked with several of the salesmen and all were friendly and knowledgeable. Love that they are local to Wise County. No more trips to the big city for furniture!

When we went in the store we were politely greeted and asked what we were wanting to look at. The sales man took us to the area of mattresses and I explained to him what I had been looking at on line and from that he started showing us that mattress plus other mattresses that were compatible. The salesman was knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed to make our decision without being rude or pushy. I would recommend this store highly.

Went in about a month ago during their Grand Opening, just to get some ideas on furniture. We were met by Skylar who was very professional and helpful! Skylar provided us with pricing information, product information and helped us in making choices. We went back about a month later to make a purchase and Skylar remembered us and still had all the information from our previous visit! The Decatur Ashley showroom is laid out wonderfully and they have a really nice selection. It’s great to have a furniture store this close, right here in Wise County, and not have to go to the DFW area to buy furniture. We ended up buying not only living room furniture, but a dining room set and also bedroom furniture with all the bedding and rugs too!

When we(me and my husband) were shopping at Ashley store in Decatur, it was wonderful. But things turned around quickly after that. They told me furniture will be delivered within 2weeks. Then it came 3 weeks later. That’s fine, it can be happen, I understand. Then I noticed one of the rug didn’t came. I ordered two rugs. I contacted store and a lady told me it won’t be here sometime in June. (Which means more than a month later) Because factory gonna discontinue this rug. And asking “Is that ok with you?” No, of course not! Would it be nice if they told me before I ordered. I asked for refund, lady said refund will be only possible within 72 hours after purchase. Well, your store didn’t/couldn’t deliver what you promised! It’s not my fault or responsibility that rug is not at my home. What the heck!!! Anyway, since I didn’t want to waiting for over a month to get my rug, they said I could come and get a displayed one. I said “I paid for a new rug and you told me to get a used one?” A lady said it wasn’t a used one. Just displayed. Yes, displayed on the store floor that all customers were walked on. That’s not new! That’s what it called “used”. Don’t play words with me! I was furious. Then she said she is gonna check with manager and call me back. She called me back few minutes later and told me that they checked their inventory and found a new one. (Really? All of sudden?) Me and my husband went to Ashley store. They were ready for us. I looked at a rug which wrapped with thin plastic vinyl, and I asked. “Is this a new one?” (A guy who was sailing furniture to us was there. He was very kind and helpful. ) I heard a lady said “yes” from behind him. But at the same time, sales man said “No, it was displayed one. We had two, so I picked the more clean one and it has been throughly cleaned and ready to go. We are very sorry about this.” He apologized few more times. We took that rug. Not because we are stupid to believe it was new, but because that guy was honest and sincerely apologized. But we are never going back to Ashley store In Decatur ever! I do not appreciate the way they handle their business and I hate lairs. Do not treat your customers as if they are stupid. If you must lie, put some effort! At least try to make it believable. Oh, by the way, my dining table has a missing part. Delivery guys couldn’t finished assembling. They said they will send technician to fix this problem and I am still waiting. It has been more than 24 to 48 hours for sure! Another lie. I am done with this place. I gave a one star because there is no negative stars.
