Ashley Store El Paso, TX

Nothing more than awful customer service. I waited almost an hour for self pick up and the answer I got was that the guy who handled it was out to lunch. Well, don't say your open from 10 to 5pm. Especially when I got there at 10:45 and already out for lunch. Of course, no real help until you get loud (after an hour of waiting), then paid workers want to help. How about showing customer service prior to getting loud paid worker. Imagine that concept of customer service. Then, when I get my items home, a key component was missing, so I had to go back to the store because Ashley help line will not allow you to call the store directly, so the help line is helpless. The worst customer service I've received easily in the last five years of any business. So dissapointed in America's number one furniture brand.

Pretty good experience shopping here for a new sofa. I’ll be honest, they’re a bit pricey for my taste but Sebastian was able to give me a military discount which included free 5 year coverage of any accidental tears or stains in the fabric. My fiance and I shopped around for a week trying to find something affordable yet still comfortable and Ashley Furniture had the best fit for us.

Bairon was AMAZING! I can’t say enough about how clear he was about terms but also helped guide us through the stage room floor.

We bought a new couch from Ashley. By the second day we noticed a piece of metal sticking out of the side. We contacted the store and they directed us to call their service line. Their service line was automated and we where sent vague emails as to how they where going to fix it and a month later we where sent a piece of fabric with no direction. We then went to the store and spoke to the manager Carlos, who basically told us we were supposed to call the company’s number, and provided no further assistance. The number than directed us that it would be another week before they would be able to send someone. They would not allow us to schedule a day convenient for us, we simply would have to be available all day. We were told if the technician couldn’t fix it that we would have to then call them again to file to get an exchange. We are very disappointed in the customer service that the company has provided, especially for the amount of money we have spent.

Absolute piece of junk! I decided to upgrade my bedroom and spent $6k for a new bedroom set. I purposely chose all wood so it would last. Within one month the entire bed frame broke apart. The engineering and design of this is not stable enough for my bed and 2 average size adults. Literally just played down to rest and the entire left side of the framing fell apart. The screws holding it together broke. They are thin and were only drilled in maybe half an inch into the frame but were broken. Am trying to exchange or return and the warrant process is a nightmare. My be gram before was cheap from Walmart and lasted more than 2 years, and this piece of junk can withstand a month. Absolutely ridiculous. Never buying from them again.

Avoid this store. Horrible customer service. I spent over 14,000 on a new furniture set and they sold me a bed set with the flexible electric bed base that isn’t compatible. Ashely’s won’t honor returning a product that was sold with the promise that it would work and in bad faith will not accept a return on it even after they admit fault.

Chrisn Sierra helped us out with a brand new sectional and a brand new mattress. We went with the Modmax Sectional in the spice color and even got a recliner to match with a speaker-storage piece. Everything was on 30 June 2025 during a 4th of July sale. Chris was able to get everything within or budget and get it schedule to be delivered the same week.

Terrible service. They sell the same item to multiple customers and give it to whoever picks it up first — even if someone else purchased it earlier. I bought a sofa that was in stock, but they gave it to someone who arrived just 15 minutes before me. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. To make it worse, I had already paid for the furniture.

Ashley’s is more of a mattress store now but they do have a good variety of couches and beds as well. To me, they seemed a little bit pricey but they did have some things on sale too that were really nice.

We went on a Saturday evening. Salvador was very helpful, he triple checked with us for the correct living room configuration and he even called the Ashley credit card rep to help me sort out an address issue to help with the delivery process. Then on Sunday, Chris, a manager I believe, called me to iron out an issue with the credit card rep because the transaction wasn't linking on one end. I'm glad he acted right away so that the delivery date would not be affected. Thank you, guys! I forgot to mention, we declined the warranty to protect the furniture for 3 yrs, but after Salvador adjusted the price on each piece to cover the cost of the warranty, we accepted. Basically, if we don't use the warranty after 3 yrs, we have store credit! We will come back!

Do not pay for assembly. Although my experience with the sales associate was great. I do not recall paying for assembly. The delivery/assembly team is extremely lazy and do not cooperate with any requests. The manager is also very unprofessional and lack hygiene. The problem resolution is not appropriate. Save the money and hire someone on the side. They left everything in boxes! Update 5/15/25- I called the 1-800 number to resolve the problem. A ticket was created with NO resolution. At this point I will give a ZERO stars. DO NOT pay for installation, they will leave everything in boxes. I called the store no one cares!!! 5/20/25- called 1-800 number. Ashley created a ticket stating they will someone to finish the installation (white glove delivery and installation.) No one locally or from corporate ever called me back. Called the 1-800 number again to get reimbursed for a service I didn’t receive. Again they created a ticket and told me I would get reimbursed. I have not gotten reimbursed or received the service. Again, don’t pay for installation service You will NOT receive the service! 7/10/25- the issue never got resolved and no one ever cared.

He was very helpful, offered my daughter and i two bottled waters and let us walk around until i could decide. When I finally decided on the set that I found online. He was very helpful and informative on sizes of the pieces and said they would honor the price online since some stores do not do that. So even if I have to wait about 2 1/2 weeks to get the set delivered i am still very happy with the customer service and with the purchase we made with Ashley Store.

Having never been to this Ashley store, we were somewhat skeptical that we would find what we needed in bedroom furniture. In fact, we had to flip a coin between three beautiful bedroom sets and we are thrilled with our purchase! Great job, Ashley and Salvadore Hernandez! First class all the way!

I was very unhappy with my experience at Ashley's and will not be returning. It was very frustrating because it is practically impossible to get ahold of anyone over the phone to check on order updates. When you call it is just an auto message that always said the same thing, the order would not be ready for another 2 weeks. I had to go in person to get an update, when they then notified me that some of my order was in fact ready for pickup. They also said I would not be getting email updates because the email on file is not the correct one, and they are unable to change it. They suggested I go to pick up the available items but when the rest come in they can not hold them for customers picking up. After many trips to the distribution center I finally received my full order, and to my disappointment some of the furniture came with scratches.

Went to Ashley Store looking for a bedroom set. Liked the customer service Mikah provided. He was very helpful giving us recommendations of what our best options were on product, pricing and financing. which was very appreciated due to him going the extra mile to provide us all information for us to decide. I highly recommend if your looking for furniture go to Ashley Store and ask for Mikah!

My brother is very sick and needed a recliner. He found himself one thanks to Chewy. The only problem I encountered was paying for it from Colorado. I wish that process would have been easier. I sent a check to my brother and he had to pay for it at pickup.

Stay away. They lied and told us that we had free delivery and we were charged $400!!!! That's insane!! They hide it in other fees!!! They then tell us they had given us discounts on our items to cover the delivery which was also lies as i added it up and it was 130 not close to the 400!!! They make you think you need to get a mattress pad and you dont! Also when we went they had us there till 11pm!!! All because their system went down when trying to pay and we had to go again the next day! Adp they didn't even put our sofas together correctly they left all these out!!!!! Total rip off!

Was sold on items that ultimately wouldn't fit. Upon delivery the technicians installed defective wheels on my ottoman. Wheels fell off and asked if i can have store credit or refund. Was told I would as long as I submitted within 24hrs-72hrs. 4 days later was called about my issue and the claim apparently was never submitted. Employee Maria Peterson stated that she couldn't find my claim that she needed to resubmit that i will not receive store credit or refund that it doesn't work that way. So don't purchase from this store or trust sales reps on dimensions of items. Once Ashley furniture makes the sale and takes your money warranty or honesty from the customer go out the window because they don't care to make the customer happy just to not lose a sale

We were greeted by several people when we walked in, which is so nice. I love going somewhere and seeing people willing to assist you. Gabe introduced himself and allowed us to take the time to walk around and review the inventory. We told him our budget, our financing options, and what pieces of furniture we knew we needed. He worked with us a lot and helped us get more pieces within our budget. We recently moved from out of state and have a lot to replace. I’m so happy to be able to get quality furniture without having to break the bank! The items did have to be ordered and he was very transparent about the process and the time frame. Low quality furniture, customer service doesn’t care about the customer. Called 3 times and tried to talk to a manger about our order that was delivered today. Employees are trained well to avoid allowing customers to speak to the manager. Manager is either “unavailable” or you are given corporate phone number. What happened to true customer service. Took a chance on ordering from them, will never purchase from Ashley again. UPDATE: Reached out to the number provided below. It is a corporate number, they did not provide any help. Blame has been placed on us for making accommodations for their drivers. Again, I will NEVER buy from Ashley Furniture again.

This about my third time buying from the Ashley store in El Paso and the experience has always been amazing, with the staff always extremely helpful and knowledgeable, this time around I had the pleasure of working with Efren Herrera and he was extremely friendly and made the entire process smooth and easy, 10/10 recommend this place for all your furniture needs 6/5/2025 update: dropping down to two stars, I purchased a table during my visit and did not pick up until about two months later in May. Recently moved and opened the item only to discover the edge is peeling off. I was told by Efren to contact customer service and they told me I only had 72 hours to inspect the furniture from the day of pick up, I was never informed or told about this policy, luckily purchased the extended warranty and loathe and behold they can’t help either. I would be leery and do some research before purchasing from Ashley and definitely don’t fall for the extended warranty, as you pay a lot of money for little to no help, I reached out to Efren for some guidance and he quickly dismissed me and stated “Its out of my hands” so quick to make that money but quick to dismiss the customer, definitely never shopping here again.

When I purchased my furniture, the salesperson made promises that were not honored, and important details about the sale were either misleading or left out entirely. They advertised a 10% promotion, but what they didn’t disclose was that it allowed me to go over my credit limit—something I was unaware of until after the purchase. This deceptive practice put me in a difficult financial situation. When I realized the issue and tried to resolve it, I was told the manager would contact me. Not only did I never receive a call back, but every time I followed up, I was given the runaround. It became clear that they were more interested in making a sale than ensuring customer satisfaction. If you’re considering buying from Ashley Furniture, be cautious. Once they have your money, they don’t seem to care about addressing any concerns. I would not recommend them and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Customer service was okay no one really helped when we asked for what we wanted. Only time we had better service was when we were paying already. I liked the selection more or less but the customer service wasn’t good no one helped find what we wanted. I purchased a full bedroom set a year and 5 days ago that cost around 10k. I also got the “professional” installation done by them. A couple days ago I noticed that some screws that are inside the base of the bed (not visible to the outside) on one of the corners were almost coming off. I couldn’t call that day because I was going off to work and I totally forgot (I take completely fault for that). After I came back home from work I notice my bed frame had fallen on that side this was at 10 pm las night so I decided to call today. They initially told me that my warranty was passed for 5 days after the year then I requested to talk to the supervisor. I spoke to the supervisor and told them that my problem was that after buying a bed for that amount of money and paying for the installation I would expect the product to last more than a year And 5 days, then he went on by saying even if it was within the year their warranty doesn’t cover “lose screws” because that just happens within time. Mind you all of the other corners are completely fine with no lose screws overall. I asked to talk to someone else and Rob the supervisor said he could send an email and the reply could take 24-72 hours I said that was fine and asked if he could provide me via email or text with a written statement that said my issue had been escalated. Terrible service. Buyers Beware. I bought a sleeper sofa from them it was the last one It had some wear on it no big deal since it was the floor model. But it wouldn’t fit into the doorway of the room I needed it in. So obviously i went to exchange it. I called the 1-800 number they give you for returns to arrange an exchange so I can get a different one. 3 TIMES I did this and have been denied each time. From what I can tell the store is a franchise and ultimately doesn’t have to listen to their corporate offices for returns unless they want to. I won’t be shopping at any Ashley store anymore.

Beware of associate that will say anything to make a sale. We furnished an entire new home. Miguel at first was kind and motivated but then it was like a switch flipped. He was pushy and rude. During a conversation I had to tell him I was just going to cancel my complete order because he was so rude on the phone I had to end our conversation. He texted us back begging for forgiveness and if we could give him a second chance. We thought, maybe he’s just having a bad day. We gave him benefit of the doubt and decided to make the purchase. Included in our purchase were three expensive mattresses. He said he would include two pillows for each bed. At the end of the sale, I verified my paperwork and he charged me for two pillows while making me believe he was “including” them as an incentive. When I had left he said he would get back to me on the other pillows because his manager was there. Never heard back from him. In addition, this “white glove service” is ridiculous. They damaged my wall and tried to say the scuffs on the white wall were already there. Then the delivery people tried to make me feel bad because they said the damage would be taken out of his money. Turns out Ashley’s uses a third party delivery company, they aren’t affiliated with Ashley’s at all. I also had issues with cabinets with two chests I purchased. My 93 year old father had a very bad buying experience. He bought a mattress and was not told it would come in a box rolled up. He lives in a very small apartment and needed a mattress that was fully extended and ready to go. He went to return it since it's a inconvenience to extend it with his limited space and was told he could not. Keep in mind the box was not opened it was just as we received it. I understand there are policies but when something is clearly wrong and simple to fix then it should not be such a big deal to fix it. ( Guillermo a salesmen did seem to care and tried to help but was unsuccessful our original salesman did not seem to care) I would not recommend Ashley bad service, and over priced.

So far so good. A pleasant experience. Can comment more after delivery has been made.

I was so elated with my experience at Ashley's Furniture. I found my beautiful kingsize headboard that I fell in love with! It's gorgeous and it's solid wood. My shopping experience was awesome as Salvador Hernandez took care of us all the step of the way. He was very helpful, understanding, and funny, too. He was patient and knowledgeable in the furniture and mattresses. It was a delightful experience and he wasn't pushy, which I loved. I'll be coming back in the future to buy other furniture from him. Can't wait to set up my bed!

This has been one of the worst buying experiences I’ve had. As first time home buyers, we were excited to furnish our new home with brand new furniture. After making a large purchase we realized they forgot to order us a second nightstand the first time around (no big deal). When we went in to purchase the other night stand, or sales rep Angelica ordered the wrong item (again, no big deal we all make mistakes). My issue was the exchange process. When I went in to exchange the wrong item for the correct item they were still charging me the price of the wrong item which was $400 more expensive. They gave me the runaround about correcting the issue for 4 weeks. I was having to pay $400 extra because of a mistake that they made. I went into the store twice and my sales rep would not reply to messages or keep me updated on anything nor would the manager. It’s very obvious that their main concern is making sales and not customer service. So sad.

When I walked into the store I was greeted by 5 salespeople with warm and friendly smiles! I spoke with Efren on the phone and then greeted by him when I arrived. Efren immediately set me up with financing as I requested, once the purchase was made he explained how the warranty worked, and told me if I had any issues with the furniture Ashley would assist if I had issues with stains, or rips I couldn’t correct. Efren was courteous and professional. Visiting the store was a wonderful experience! I will continue to shop at this El Paso location. The store was clean and I was thrilled with the selections. If I could give this location more stars I would.

The sales lady that worked with us was not very experienced, she took a very long time just to go back and forth in pricing trying to not honor the advertised price. We ended up just buying some of what we’d look that since they refused to honor their Black Friday deal even when the add they had was on top of the couch.

Advice: Window shop in store take some pictures with item numbers, take a laptop, use a cell phone, compare prices, ask about a more affordable options with different term lengths. We are educated and yet not all details or better offers were disclosed to us. I could not imagine how badly the salesmen abuse of consumers who are unaware. The salesmen will off course be nice. Look at what you want, do your research. My mother made a purchase that would have been $664 cheaper online, mind me this is only on a 2k purchase I couldn't imagine the price difference with a larger purchase... (yes this included the delivery and sales tax to the same address). We did have to return to the store to remove an item which we were not given the sale due to our financing option of (36 months) but the contract was indeed drawn up for 12 months not the 36 as discussed. The item should have came out to the advertised price since the contract was mistakenly* drawn up for 12 months... After lying, was told my mother chose the 12 month option (but recited a monthly payment for the 36 months) the salesman said he was at fault and mistakenly drew it up for 12. The contract length was fixed the extra item was removed, and the trip from Horizon to Airway was wasted just for a signature. All due to the failure to the attention to detail. note***The online sale has been going on since before the in-store contact was made, still going on. Yet I cant decipher a $664 difference on a $2,000 sale. If its a contract term deal, she was never offered another option do save, etc... She has the money and the credit. This is unruly, I'm assuming all the salesmen are like sharks but yet again I couldn't say for sure. For certain I would not recommend Ruben. They most definitely will not be rude but they are most definitely sharks. Bad job Ashley.

Purchased a sectional back in October with MIGUEL who is a horrible salesman, do not do business with him. He is unprofessional and does not communicate or give updates on orders whatsoever. It has now been about 5 weeks and we still have not received our sectional. I have had to message him personally to get updates or else he will not provide updates. After a month and a half our case had to be taken over by management which they are taking care of really well now. Was very pleased to do business here initially, but after this experience I can say that I will never give them business ever again!! Take care of your customers MIGUEL, because you do a nasty job at doing so

11/12/2024 I picked up my sectional and ottoman today. Left arm sectional is missing, and I won’t be able to get it till the 19th. Nobody told me this. On top that the right arm sectional is broken! Worst experience ever, $2600 purchase smh and the customer service female Leigha was so rude, left me on hold for over 15 minutes and waited until it was past 6 to come back to the line to tell me they can’t help until tomorrow. Ashley’s, you guys are trash Update 11/13/2024: I called the next day in the morning, was told there was no date for when I could exchange the damaged piece, I had to request a supervisor, placed on hold for another 15 minutes, supervisor never came to the line, instead they told me I can take the damaged piece back to the store and pick up a new one in 3 days. Worst customer service ever, never again Final update 11/14/2024: After receiving a call from an escalation specialist named Angela Jones on the 13th I was told I could go exchange the broken piece and pick up the missing piece. Fortunately I didn’t have to wait over a week like the customer service reps had told me. So thank you to the managers for resolving everything expeditiously. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and it’s disappointing that I had to go through such difficult situations to get my sectional and ottoman, I was never rude or disrespectful to anyone I just wanted the issues to get fixed and no one would help until it was escalated. The furniture is brand new and has great quality. *updated review from one star to 3 stars

There is not one person you can call, you will need to go back to the store to find out what is going on with your order. I bought furniture on labor day and got it months later and in two deliveries weeks apart. I will not shop at this store again.
