I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture, one that has left me feeling misled and frustrated. As a long-time customer, I expected a certain level of professionalism and transparency, but my recent interaction with them has completely shattered that expectation. My ordeal began when I purchased a mattress from Ashley Furniture. During the sale, the salesperson assured me that there was a flexible return policy in place, allowing me to return the mattress if it did not meet my expectations. Taking their word for it, I proceeded with the purchase, confident that I could return the product if needed. To my dismay, after a few nights of discomfort and sleeplessness, I decided to return the mattress. That’s when the true nature of Ashley Furniture’s return policy was revealed. Contrary to what was assured at the time of purchase, I was informed that mattresses are non-returnable but can be exchanged. They do not have any mattresses that meet my needs to constitute an exchange. When I came back to the store to discuss the discrepancy, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. The salesperson who made the promise was suddenly unavailable, and the manager I spoke with showed no willingness to rectify the situation. They repeatedly referenced the fine print and to call the 800 provided, dismissing my concerns despite the clear misrepresentation during the sale. Calling Ashley Furniture’s 800# did not get any better. Their representative kept referring back to their policy and not accepting responsibility for what their store representative verbally said. To make matters worse their phone representative supervisor Alicia raised her voice and hung up on me. Throughout this experience, the customer service at Ashley Furniture has been woefully lacking. Not only was I MISLED and lied about an essential aspect of my purchase, but the response I received when trying to resolve the issue was dismissive and unhelpful. It was evident that they prioritize sales over customer satisfaction, and their unwillingness to address the problem has left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I am writing this review to strongly caution potential buyers about the misleading practices and poor customer service at Ashley Furniture. It is crucial to double-check the terms and policies, especially when dealing with high-value purchases. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-oriented furniture retailer. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Ashley Furniture to reconsider their approach to customer relations and ensure that their sales promises align with their actual policies. 2/25/2025 UPDATE. Ashley Furniture responded to my review and asked for me to contact them in order to find resolution. It was very disappointing to hear Ashley Furniture state the same statement from our last conversation. To make matters worse, I spoke to a escalation manager and was told I will be getting a call back to find resolution to this matter. It has been 4 days and no call back. Business' are not defined by how much they sell. A company who truly cares for their customers show their character when their is something wrong. Selling is the easy part. Taking care of your valued customers is the what defines a company. Ashley Furniture is not a good company. i STRONGLY SUGGEST TO PURCHASE FURNITURE ELSE WHERE.

BEWARE - Absolutely no customer service and complete disregard for their customers! I purchased a bedroom set with a marble top from their clearance section. I willingly accepted the wear and tear visible in the store. My wife, my adult children, and I thoroughly inspected the marble in-store, and it was completely intact. However, when it was delivered, a closer inspection revealed the marble was cracked. Within just 15 minutes of delivery, I contacted the company, provided clear pictures of the damage, and explained the situation. Their response? They gave me the runaround and said, “It was sold as is, so we cannot do anything.” This is unacceptable! My response to them was simple: “Sure, it was sold as is, but you damaged it during delivery—so now what?” And yet, here I am, still without a resolution. I paid over $2,500 for this set. I could have bought a brand-new one elsewhere, but we chose this because we loved the color and trusted what we thought was the quality. This company’s unwillingness to take responsibility is beyond disappointing. Do not make the same mistake I did. If they can’t stand behind their products or their delivery service, they don’t deserve your business. BEWARE BEWARE I see that Ashley responded and asked me to call or text the 866 number and I did, that number does not accept text, so what is the deal. I will try to call tomorrow morning and see. By the way I did visit to store where I bought the set and both the manager and the salesperson confirmed that the set did not have the cracks when it left the store so obviously it was the delivery that caused them I am sure that the set was loaded without padding and the bumps. Update: 12/15/2024 Very disappointed with Ashley, they kept pushing me around from one to another and between the store and online. My receipt does not state that the sale is as is. Yet they keep pushing me away. The quality of the furniture is a big question and the delivery even more. I think I will have to take legal action like one of you suggested

I bought an expensive all wood bedroom set from Ashley and every item purchased has had an issue. First, my delivery was scheduled to deliver the bedroom set all together but delivery showed up without my bed. Then I had to call to find out why I didn’t get my bed only to have the automated system tell me that all items had been delivered. After much time on hold I was told that the bed was on hold for some reason unknown to the representative. I was promised a return call with further information but that never happened. I contacted the salesman who provided me his card the evening I made the purchase and stated that I could call him anytime but he did not return my calls and only texted me after I called several times claiming to be in a meeting and stated he would “call me back asap”. That also never happened. I had to call back several times to get my bed rescheduled for delivery. I never got an explanation as to why it was put on hold when I already paid for it. My dresser has a middle cabinet door that doesn’t close. My nightstand was previously damaged and repaired very sloppily so the repair was noticeable upon inspection. My footboard to my bed that I spent 2 days at home waiting for delivery since it did not come when expected also has damage where the footboard is cracked by either those who delivered it or prior to. I had to contact Ashley every time a piece was delivered. 3 out of 4 items delivered was either damaged or poorly assembled do not properly working. I was offered nothing for these numerous inconveniences. My nightstand was swapped but that cost me another day off waiting for another delivery. My bed was Putin as a warranty repair when it should not have been delivered damaged and should require a repair. I did not receive a discount for purchasing clearance or defective items. I expect the furniture to be delivered in new and working g condition. Is that too much to ask for when you’ve spent thousands on a bedroom set label “hold tag” supposedly the best Ashley has to offer! Apparently, it’s too much to ask Ashley Store for…. Don’t expect the best from Ashley in service or product because apparently they just “can’t deliver!”

I do not recommend! Purchase from anywhere but here! I am not one to write a negative review but I feel like I am at the end of my rope and want future purchasers to be aware of false advertising and bad company practices. I ordered a bedroom set with mattress and box springs, almost $5K purchased and what the store calls “white glove delivery” and had it delivered on August 31st. We received the upholstered headboard and footboard without any hardware or feet to put it together, a mattress, no box springs and a nightstand that is over 5 inches bigger than what their own website describes as 26 inches in diameter which no matter how I turn it it will not fit in my bedroom adequately for the drawers to open. I ordered 2 nightstands but 1 was not in stock so I was refunded and I purchased another one from another company $137 cheaper than Ashley Furniture, never thinking that the dimensions could be wrong on the Ashley website, just ordered the same stock# that I was given. The delivery team was refusing to put the bed together and once they agreed and did. I looked at it while he was trying to unwrap the mattress and install it without the box springs and the bed was not sturdy at all so I texted the delivery manager. He said someone would come back and the only crew that came back was to pick up the footboard which I refused. After many texts and calls and even a visit in person, it is now 9/17 and I still have no resolution and no usable bed. I ordered the feet to fix the bed frame myself from Amazon, got the screws and washers from the hardware store and completed the assembly ourselves. Still no box springs which they claim was delivered but the delivery department has no picture of it in the delivery file, was never asked to sign for items that were delivered and the not so nice person from their escalation department said I should have measured the nightstands myself as the store in Frisco Texas is a franchised store and Ashley Furniture is not responsible for the store nor the website but yet it is Ashley Furniture’s website where I pulled the dimensions and measured my room to ensure a proper fit. Please if you are still reading this, don’t trust these people! Worst furniture buying experience I have had in my entire life!

I have been shopping for a sofa for the last 3 months and have visited almost all the stores including NFM, Macy's, and Ikea. I initially picked up a sofa from Ikea and also selected one from Macy's. However, thanks to their return policy, I was able to return the Macy's sofa within the return window. Finally, I decided to try Ashley Furniture, hoping my search would end there. The salesperson at Ashley Furniture offered me the option to have two sofas delivered so that I could make a decision at home about which one to keep. After waiting for almost 4 weeks, the delivery day arrived. I requested the delivery personnel to bring in at least one piece of each different sofa so that I could make a decision. However, the delivery person was extremely rude and initially refused to comply with my request. After much insistence, he finally brought in one of the sofas, which looked nice but dull. Unfortunately, they were unable to bring in the other white sofa due to the way it was packed or for some other reason. They took the white one back and left the gray one. I then drove almost 45 miles to the Ashley store to speak with the salesperson, LU, as I didn't have his direct number. Upon reaching the store, LU acknowledged that it was the delivery company's mistake and apologized for the inconvenience. He promised to make arrangements to take back the sofa and offered me a chance to choose another one. I chose a replacement sofa that would fit through my door. As I was about to sign and leave, the salesperson informed me that once the furniture is delivered, they would not accept returns as per their policy. He suddenly changed his words and promises he made. This was a shock to me. I spoke to the manager too at the store, but they refused to assist me and directed me to their customer care department. This has been a very frustrating experience with Ashley and their return policy. I am still waiting for a resolution from their customer care department. The fact that I cannot receive the sofa I selected is not my fault. I hope they will address this issue and reconsider their return policies, especially in situations like mine. I am very disappointed with this overall experience and hope that they will not prove me wrong in choosing Ashley as my best option for purchasing a sofa, over the other furniture stores.

I give Ashley Homestore 1 star because I cannot give them anything less. The staff are nice and friendly but that is about as far as they go. Once they sell you something and if problems arise they have a propensity to ignore you and unwillingness to solve any problems. With that said I bought a Makeup Vanity/Mirror set and matching Chest with premium Home Delivery on 6/21/24 with a promise for delivery on 6/26/24. The day before we get a call from Ashley delivery team saying they only have the Vanity set to deliver and asked if it was ok to deliver the Vanity and the Chest at a later date. I was not ok with that because the day we bought and paid for the two pieces the seller said if we don't buy it now they cannot guarantee they have anymore in stock since it was the last piece. I told them not to deliver until they have both pieces we will not accept partial delivery. With that said they gave me new delivery date of 6/28 so I accepted. On that day late afternoon they notified me that they could not deliver both pieces and asked for a later date. By this time Ashley lack of ability to deliver as promised ruined my plans so I first called the store and talked to Marwan who sold me the furniture and asked him if I could have a refund since they are not able to deliver as planned. I asked their Store manger for a refund who agreed but said unfortunately he could not because the pieces showed as delivered in the system and he would have to get that fixed first. Well that was 12 days ago and now they will not talk to me and say they will call me back later. I have been a long customer of Ashley's in a different City , spent thousands of dollars in furniture. The feeling I get from this store is they have a lack or sense of good customer service and unwillingness to do what is right by their customers. They lost me as a loyal customer and now It seems I have to take this a little further to get my money back since the store will not return my calls.

My experience was disappointing. It took 4 attempts within 3 months to get my furniture delivered. I had ordered several items in the past including a couch and a bedroom suit from Ashley furniture in Frisco. I was a loyal customer and recommended many friends. The most recent purchase included 2 recliners. I had originally said I would pick up the items but I changed my mind after I learned the warehouse was 2 hours away from me. I paid $99 for delivery and thought I scheduled a delivery through text format. The day I thought I scheduled the delivery for came and no furniture was delivered. I called customer service but it was extremely difficult to get a real person on the line. After calling multiple times and going through push options, I finally was able to talk to someone. We scheduled the furniture delivery again. That day came and no furniture was delivered. I called the Frisco store but that phone line wanted to direct me back to customer service. After finally being able to get through to the Frisco store, I left a message for the manager. I received no call back. I learned later that they don’t even check their voicemails at the Frisco store. Somehow I was able to schedule a delivery again through the Ashley furniture website with a virtual assistant. The week of that delivery was promising, I received a text message confirming my delivery a few days in advance. The delivery day came and I got a phone call from customer service. She said the only thing that was scheduled for delivery was a “white glove delivery”. My furniture had apparently not been added to the delivery fulfillment. She said she had to send an inquiry to the store and that she couldn’t change anything in her system. 4 hours later, my sales person Shad calls me and lets me know he was unaware of everything that has been happening and puts me on with the assistant manager. The assistant manager was able to fix the error but the next available delivery date was 2 weeks later. The best he could do was discount the furniture to take off the $99 because he couldn’t directly refund the delivery fee in his system. I was still very unhappy with the inconvenience and piss-pour systems of Ashley furniture. He couldn’t expedite delivery or offer a larger discount. He even tried to explain statistics to me that because I had been a recurring customer that an error in the system was more likely to happen. The delivery team that finally delivered my furniture was great though. They took it upstairs and set both recliners up.

The most bad experience ever on my life if you looking to buy a new furniture, make sure you don’t stop by any Ashley furniture stores. It’s a huge scam even the insurance policy I’ll never had a bad experience same as this furniture purchase from Ashley furniture store me and my wife stopped by Ashley furniture store on March 13. We purchased living room dining room and king size bedroom and mattress so it’s a huge amount for financing specially in this days long story short I’m gonna leave some pictures on the end everybody can take a look at it and tell me if I’m right or wrong i give them a call on May 1 complaining about the living room sofa loveseat and one and a half seat if you sit on them, you dive inside you almost sitting on the ground something broken from inside they send a service gentleman to check the furniture on June 4. He told me you were right something broken he take. Photos and leave notes in his tablets and he said somebody will communicate with you very soon. Few hours later a lady called from the head corporate she said and she said oh I reviewed the photos and complaining about your living room furniture look like to me it’s nothing wrong with it so there is nothing we can do, are you serious guys been back-and-forth text messages emails with every time random people I have to tell the story all over again you telling me there is nothing you can do to me. I’m gonna leave some photos and I need people to look at it and see if this is fair or unfair, but trust me every single dollar you make after you sell this furniture to me it will be not clean money. I told the girl all I need just send someone pick up this furniture. I will stop by the store select model with a different model. Maybe it will be better than what I take the first time and I’m willing to pay a little extra. I’m trying to work with you guys. Is that how you’re treating your customers, very bad very bad customer service. I will never forgive you I will leave it for God. He will take care of it. please if you read my review, take a look at the picture for the furniture and tell me is this furniture look like only about three months old!!!! Update since I right this review till today nobody communicate with me the store owner have a time only to respond for the good reviews, but after he take my money and put me on loan for the next five years, he doesn’t even bother his self to respond to my review, I’m still waiting till when somebody communicate with me Update Today is July 29 till today. Nobody respond last week the three seats couch. The base broke. I called Ashley furniture Head corporate. Nobody respond. They didn’t even want to listen to my conversation. Tell me what should I do are big huge scam the moment they involve people to a bank loan for the next five or six years and they got the money they don’t have the after sale customer service I have no idea what to do if somebody know what should I do or any phone number for customer protection please leave me a number thanks

Update: I’ve read a few reviews and it seems like it’s the same pattern. Do not order from this store. They say one thing and do another. They do not communicate when things go wrong on their side. We were told a manager would contact us right back once he got off the phone. It’s 3 days later. We will be taking this further because it involves a forged signature. Just want to help others with not ordering furniture from here. I’ve had a horrible encounter when it comes to the delivery with Ashley Home-store. The delivery drivers forged a signature of mine and Ashley has still yet to call to resolve the issue of changing the furniture. We had a set of a huge sectional and dining table set. We were not going to sign off for the couch just the dining table set, the delivery drivers signed without our permission after we refused the order because they said they could not alter or take pieces we wanted to change. They kept repeating they did not want to ruin their Saturday. They did not want to take pieces back to the truck since they felt it would prolong their day. They rather us sign for furniture that we were not satisfied with and stick with it because it was “too much work”. We were speaking with the manager of the delivery drivers to outweigh the options we had since it was an holiday and the store was closed. Once we got on the phone with the manager the delivery drivers left without saying a word and the refused couch. When we told the manager he was very shocked that they would leave one without the photo of the furniture but two without our signature for the approved pieces. The supervisor called them to have them return, however, the manager did not give us a call back right away. It was about an hour later and we left the apartment momentarily because we had not heard anything back yet. We let the supervisor know it would be 45 minutes until our return. This is when all communication stopped with the manager along with the delivery drivers. We received a call from the driver but it hung up right away. We called right back and no one answered. Not shortly after I received the notification that the drivers forged a signature to be signed and that the delivery was completed, even though we made an agreement for the couch to be returned back.

Do business with this company at your Own Risk! Beware of their NO RETURN POLICY which is buried as a one liner of the page 5 of the 6 page receipt they gave us. At no time during the sales process was this policy disclosed nor is it posted anywhere in their showroom. What company today doesn't offer returns or exchanges??? When our bedroom set was delivered it was defective, the headboard of the post bed we ordered was poorly constructed. When inspecting it further we came to the conclusion that the panel board design in the same collection would be a bit more sturdy than the post board So we contacted the Frisco Ashley location from where we purchased and asked since the headboard needed to be replace if we could swap out with the panel board instead. We even offered to pay any additional costs of shipping, etc. We were told NO. They would send someone out to repair. We asked if we could escalate to a manager. NOPE. All we received was deflection from the staff saying how this location and the parent company are two separate entities, and how the parent company makes all the decisions, blah... blah... blah. Eventually we were relegated to the Associate Sales Manager, Kendra Stevens, when we asked to speak to the store manager. Kendra promised to raise our concern and also our solution / proposition to the parent company and get back to us. She would not give me the parent company's name. After some digging, I found the company: Dufresne Spencer Group out of Memphis TN. Kendra never got back to us. Again, she deflected any responsibility and decision making to the parent company saying her hands were tied. And she wasn't the only one saying this. It was like Ashley's whole staff was trained more in deflection techniques rather than customer service. No one there was able to make a simple decision AFTER the SALE. So, we decided to call the parent Group DSG. No luck. System and phone issues prevented us from contacting anyone with decision making ability by phone. By text and email Ashly communicates letting us know they are sending a box of parts to repair the headboard. This is after a technician who came to our house determined the board couldn't be repaired. Well the box comes to my house and sits in my garage for several weeks until another technician is scheduled. This technician arrives and makes the determination also that the board can't be repaired. We are now several months into this. We once again propose an exchange to the panel board style and offered for Ashley to keep the difference in the less expensive panel board and we would pay any exchange / delivery fees. Again, the answer was NO. It was almost as though they got pleasure and delight out of pissing you off not satisfying your purchase experience. In the end, 5 MONTHS LATER, we finally got a replacement post board. Again, understand when you are doing business with this location... RETURN POLICY "Once the item(s) are in your possession, all sales are final." Believe me, we were delightfully reminded of this by there staff several times by email and text. In our experience, this company is not the least bit concerned about your overall purchasing experience or satisfaction, only in making the sale. There is zero flexibility... NO EXCEPTIONS! And if you think you're going to call the local location or DSG in Memphis try to reason with someone who legitimately cares about you and your satisfaction as a paying customer... think again. Remember, look at your sales paperwork carefully for this No Return Policy, because our sales rep didn't disclose it nor was is conspicuously displayed anywhere in the store. I will never shop at this location that is owned by DSG. Instead, shop for your Ashley furniture on-line where you have 72 hours to report if you are unhappy with the item in anyway and then work with them for replace, pick-up, or return.

Danger! We have hired a lawyer for Frisco and Plano location. Ashley in other locations are great. They will not let you return any furniture even when it is the following day! We have a terrible story of what they did to us. I have purchased beautiful furniture from Ashley for years. The problem is the owner of the Frisco and Plano location. It started with a purchase of family room furniture. We bought a couch, love seat and over sized chair. They delivered the couch first. It was defective. One side was puffy as it should be. The other side was flat. I called the next day and they said we could not return it! I canceled the rest of the set so we would not be charged. I fought for at least two months with the manager. She finally agreed to give a credit. I did not need furniture, starting picking up decorations for the house. I had a $5000.00 credit. This is not what I thought was fair. As I was picking up things I liked but did not need, she came up to me and said it had to be furniture! We had already bought furniture. We knew we could not fight them so we decided to get a new bed. We loved our bed, but felt that was all we could do. We bought a Temporpedic soft mattress anld a $150.00 cover. The first night we slept in it we knew we made a big mistake. We like extremely soft beds and it was not for us. We paid $5000.00 dollars for the furniture, and the bed with base was $7000.00! Again, I called the next day and asked to return it. I wad told that we had to wait six months to get use to it. If we still were not happy, they would give us a refund. I called the day of six months. No return because it had been over there return time. I have always loved Ashley furniture. It is just the owner of the Plano and Frisco location. I spoke with the corporate office and learned a lot more. I will not inform you of what I heard in respect for them. The BBB has had many complaints and had nothing good to say about them. We have been through many tragedies at the same time and did not fight back. We have hired a lawyer and he will expose the two locations that are giving them a bad name. I have bought Ashley furniture for years! Always great furniture and customer service!

Our experience with Ashley furniture was very disappointing. We went there specifically because we were ready to spend a little more money to get some better furniture that would last us a very long time. Salesman: very good, no complaints. There were two major issues that really convinced us that we will never shop there again. 1. They specifically told us that the furniture was made here in the USA. NOT! When the pieces actually arrived, huge sticker on the back that says: Made in TAIWAN. The furniture is decent quality. It was just that they told us one simple thing that was a clear lie. 2. Biggest disappointment was that they kept telling us "your furniture is in the warehouse now and will be delivered on XX day/month" - Fine. We accept that even though it's not for another month. That day arrives and there are either pieces missing, or the whole order won't be ready for another month. The point here is that they confirmed it was sitting in the warehouse and would be delivered on a day, but that day came and it wasn't delivered. That happened TWICE. The top part of the contract does specifically state that delivery may be delayed for up to 4 months. However, when they say it's ready and will arrive to our house in 3 weeks, then it should arrive in 3 weeks. It feels to me like they don't actually have much or any warehouse, and when people commit to furniture, then at that point they contract it out to a Vietnam company who builds and then ships it. I expect they do this ploy because they know that people won't wait for 3 months to get furniture when there is so much competition in the big cities. It's a bait and switch and once you sign for the deal, it's easier to wait than to complain and fight for your money back. At the end of the day we received our furniture, and despite one piece arriving damaged, it was professionally repaired and the repair person did a very good job with it. All said, it was the business practices of the store that were very disappointing and frustrating and so we won't be dealing with them any more. Further, if we hear of others who are considering that, we will surely tell them of our negative experience!

I had the worst experience ever from Ashley. We brought a formal dining room set worth $6000 from the Frisco store in May of 2022. A month later they delivered it but the table was damaged so bad. We asked the delivery guys to take it back and was told they cant. So we wrote on the receipt that table was damaged. We were told to call customer service who said they will send a technician. Technician came and told us this is "beyond repair and you need to have it replaced". So they tried to deliver a table 3 different times. Every single time the table they brought was even more damaged. One time the delivery guy said " we are not even going to bring the table in because the table we brought for you is in a worse shape". We found out from customer service and the store that this table was discontinued so perhaps they were bringing used tables to replace our broken table. Then customer service gave us an option to reselect a new set. We went to the store to reselect but was told we could only reselect the table and must keep the old chairs which doesn't make any sense. So the store people said they could help us out and add chairs also to the ticket. They claimed they got the regional manager (Sebastian) to add chairs. Few days later they came to deliver the table only. We told them our furniture wouldn't match because the chairs are a completely different style and color. They told us to go back to the store and we were told " someone deleted the chairs" and they will look into it and call us back the next day. Weeks went by with no calls. So we went back to the store literally upset since it had been 8 months. Again they told us they will fix it and call us back by Monday. All they do is try to give you a reason to send you away and even made a statement "we dont have to help you because the initial sales person who helped you no longer works here and we wont make any commission from you". Buying from this store was the biggest mistake i have made. I lost my money and i am stuck with a broken table. The worst customer service department who has no connection with Ashley stores either.

Customer Service is terrible. Received couch on 11/30/22 - today is 12/12/22 chaise is already making creaking noises and cushions already denting. I went into store on 12/11/22 to request return and refund less 10% restocking that I was specifically told about. Only to get a call today 12/12 saying the return was denied. Really irritating because not once in the store was I told returns are not allowed. 2nd why they don't stand behind the furniture quality for a sofa costing over $1K is insane. I've spoken to Customer Service and even Ashley Corporate Consumer Affairs. The store is the one that is supposed to approve and initiate the return however they won't return calls nor answer their phone. But also not trust worthy as they can't give accurate information. Per Customer Service Supervisor Carla - Returns are not allowed at this time. When I asked her how long this has been in place, she said for at least 4 months since she's been working at Ashley. Remind you sofa just delivered on 11/30/22. Absolute waste of time, energy and I'm out over $1200 on a worthless sofa. Update 12/30/22: The sofa is officially 1 month in my apartment. Its clearly too big which I tried to address before delivery. Now the seams are coming unthreaded. OMG!!! I sent an email on the same day of the response below - NO RETURN RESPONSE. On Saturday 12/17 went to the store again after no response to complaint. Got a RA# for the chairs refund difference which was actually processed. Plus got another RA# for trying to return the couch due to it being defective and miss information from not being able to adjust the order prior to delivery. Only to not receive a return call from Susan at the store at all. Which had promised to respond by 12/18. Well needless to say again. RUN FAR AWAY FROM ANY ASHLEY FURNITURE ASSOCIATE WITH THE FRANCHISE OWNERS DSG dba ASHLEY HOME STORES!!!! Oh and the sales person left the store shortly after purchase. They still won't stand behind the SERVICE NOR FURNITURE. WHAT A RIP-OFF!! The worse furniture experience in 20 years and that includes multiple states of shopping and living.

The salesperson also told us all our items were in stock and readily available, the items have been delivered one a day and every order came with an issue, it's frankly been very stressful as I am currently working on exchanging my third king size mattress. The first mattress was an Olympian queen or some other type is measured 74*72.5 very oddly shaped. When I called I spoke to a very rude manager that told me I was supposed to measure before the delivery drivers left so it's on me. I had to call and speak to someone else to get the exchange completed. The second mattress exchange came Thursday, the size is a king, hooray, but we ordered a 13inch and received an 11inch (measured this evening to give a full 72 hours for the item to rise). We were told give it 30 days and there is a guarantee but hold up you have to pay 99 for delivery if you have to exchange I have to measure every single mattress going forward with these folk as it's all been a disaster. The queen sized mattress the cover came, a week earlier then the mattress, when the mattress came we put the cover on and found that there was a huge yellow stain on it looked like a cupboard stain on the mattress protector, I called and was told that it was past the time to complain, I had to get a supervisor involved because in all my life of ordering I didn't realize this was so stressful, after all who opens up their mattress protector before they actually receive the mattress. The queen sized bed arrived. The draws are not properly placed I'm waiting on a technician to arrive to fix the grooves. The mirror arrived about three weeks before there dresser, when the delivery guys checked they could not put up the mirror because everything was not delivered with the mirror so again have to wait on another technician. Every order was placed on the 3rd September and frankly if we were allowed to return it all as we were told we would have. I understand supply chain issues but another store we purchased from told us the truth and let us know the timeline, asked us if this was reasonable for us and we agreed. I prefer honesty and all this has been is a dishonest stressful annoying situation with multiple calling and exchanging and booking technicians to fix items on brand new furniture. Sales experience was fine, delivery was completed reasonably quick. About 2 weeks later the wood frame of the sofa started falling apart. The frame boards and plywood are joined together with staples and they don't hold the pieces together for long. So, after two weeks one joint came apart. I was able to get inside and glue the pieces together. Two weeks later another joint came apart, far deeper behind the upholstery. BTW, I weigh 180 lbs. I called their customer service and got to speak with someone in India or Bangladesh. The person could barely speak English. He told me he could not find my order with the order number I gave him. I then emailed him the copy of my order per his request. He told me he was gonna call me back in 5-10 minutes, but never did. I called the customer “non-service” again, spoke with someone with the same accent again, they told me they will ask the first guy to call me ASAP, and no one called again. After the third call I finally got to speak with a very nice American lady. She quickly located my order, created a warranty claim and told me that someone will contact me to schedule a service visit. Next day I got a text with several available dates. The earliest was almost 2 months away, which I had to pick. So, I have to live with the broken $1300 sofa for the next two months. From my experience, Ashley sofa that I got is an expensive piece of garbage, their customer service pretty much sucks, and their warranty doesn’t mean much. Never again will I be stupid enough to buy Ashley anything. UPDATE 8/11/22: Someone from Ashley responded, offered to discuss the issue further. I emailed them the copy of my order, will see what happens now. UPDATE 8/20/22: A couple of days ago I got a call from Ashley, saying the they have an opening between 8a and 10a on Saturday Aug 20. Of course, I took it. Eric from AHM Furniture Service showed up this morning at 9am. Highly professional, courteous, and efficient. He quickly fixed the broken frame and discovered that the reclining mechanism on the sofa was bent (probably during delivery), which caused one of the end seats to lean outside. So, I will be calling Ashley again on Monday, to create another warranty ticket. Will see what they will tell me on Monday about replacing the mechanism. Eric's visit made me upgrade my review from 1 to 3 stars. I wish Ashely was half as good as their repair contractors are.

Am writing this long post to let everyone know what the nightmare experience am having with Ashley and I sincerely hope it shouldn't happen to anyone else. !!!! THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WAS TO BUY A SOFA FROM ASHLEY!!! Am not getting any support from Ashley store representatives where I bought the sofa, Ashley Customer service, Ashley delivery team and Ashley escalation team. I believe the only place where I can get the support is Attorney's office. Am going get an attorney and file a lawsuit to get this settled. Am still waiting for my exchange sofa for over a month now, am completely tired of calling Ashley customer service which I did more than 20 times 1. First time - Ashley delivered a damaged sofa on 5/26 and I have been following up for almost 20 days to schedule for an exchange which was scheduled on 6/17 after multiple calls and follow ups 2. Exchange delivery guys came on 6/17 and they told whatever the sofa they brought in got damaged (they didn't even check whether the sofa was in good condition before reached my delivery address) hence they couldn’t deliver it and rescheduled the delivery try for 6/25 which is exactly after first delivery date and this time Ashley customer care guys promised me that they would check the sofa fully before bring it to to my delivery address and guess what happened at 3rd time 3. Delivery guys haven't even showed up this time on 6/25 and they simply updated the delivery status as unable to complete. I have reached out to customer service again and god knows the count how many times I reached out to them for the past 1 month are playing the same game again and telling me that they can only leave a note and delivery reschedule will happen again for the 4th time. I even got a point of contact from Ashley escalation team to seek support for these kind of situation but guess what that escalation team person also is not picking up the phone whenever am calling. It seems I need to escalate the person in escalation team.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. STAY AWAY! I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst buying experience I have ever dealt with. I am an extremely difficult person to get rattled but this experience has been so grueling and disheartening. The amount of sleep lost and headaches that I've had over this has been unfathomable. I purchased my bedroom furniture in September of 2021 and was told my order would be ready by January 2022. January came and they delivered two of the items from my order. They notified me that the remainder of my order would be delivered in February. February came and they notified me the order was still not complete in their warehouse and they could not ship the incomplete order. They pushed the order back to March and the same thing happened again. March came and they pushed it to April. April came and this time they pushed to May. I went to the store to see if there was anything that could be done to expedite the order and they said no. The staff was short, blunt and rude with my concerns I had brought to their attention. I called a week later and they said the order is now showing sometime in early 2023. I have a baby coming next month and our whole goal was to have our bedroom together before the baby came. I went to the store to cancel my order and return the two items that were previously delivered in January as they wont match any new bedroom set we order. They directed me to the corporate phone number. When I spoke to corporate they directed me back to the store I bought the furniture from. The staff never answers the phone at the store and I live an hour away so this is my main form of communication. I was owed over $2,500 for the refund of the products I never received and they only refunded $1,200. I have spoke to corporate and the store and both parties just shrug their shoulders. They have confirmed that I should be receiving the remainder of the amount I am owed but it has been over two weeks and there has been no other refund. No one cares at either level. I have jumped through all of their hoops only to be let down at each corner. In a new world of inflated costs of living and a baby on the way finances are extremely tight. The Ashley furniture team has not a care in the world regarding this situation and is avoiding it like the plague. I try to reach out to corporate and the store on a daily basis and I never get a call back. I have opened up a claim with Better Business Bureau Texas BBB and they are working on trying to resolve the mess that Ashley Furniture has created. I cannot stress this enough to anyone who is considering buying from this company and store. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Again the amount of stress and heartache that has came from this mess is straight out of a nightmare. Never again will I purchase anything from Ashley. Total Nightmare...

UPDATE: 6/24/2021 It has been about 2 months since I posted this review. The "OWNER" replied saying that they want every customer to be happy and to send my information to them. I sent all of my information to the email address that was provided. As you can tell by me posting this update that it is the same its the same run around that I got before. I was told I can not return the item even though every thing I was given DOES NOT state that and I was never told that all sales are final. I even tried getting them to call me and was told that I was not the only customer they are working with so it all had to be done through email.....REALLY!!! You have my information pick up the phone and call. Very...Very...Very disapointed I have made several purchases at Ashley Furniture over the years and have never had a bad experiance till now!!! I moved to Texas from Illinois back in August of 2021 with a closing date of December 21st 2021. Since I was moving long distance and was not bringing all of my furniture with I needed to purchase all new furniture. Having good luck with Ashley I decided to purchase from them. This is what I purchased Monaghan Sofa Monaghan Loveseat Monaghan Oversized Chair Monaghan Ottoman My purchase was made November 18th 2021. With Covid and most furinture being backordered my estimated delivery was Febuary. I recieved a call/email the begining of December saying all my furniture was in and I set up the delivery for December 22nd. Well December 22nd came and when I didnt recieve my delivery or a phone call I called to find out what happened (Let me remind you I moved into my house on December 21st, was home all day with my phone around me knowing I had a delivery) I was told the driver tried calling me but I had no missed calls. Since it was after 4pm there was no way they would deliver it that tuesday, they couldnt even deliver it the next day. I felt since it was there mistake they should have done what they could to get it to me. The new date was set for December 30th. Finally it was delivered on the 30th. It came out with no box(was told later they put the legs on at the warehouse due to Covid) After using the sofa's for a few weeks I started to notice the seat cushions looking like I have been sitting on them for years. They were wearing way too fast. I gave it another couple weeks and finally after 30 days I called the store in Frisco where I made the purchase but it went straight to a recording. After several attempts to call the store I decided do make a trip there to see what I could do and voice that I was not happy. I was told there is nothing they could do because I didn't purchased the protection plan. If I had they would be able to send someone out to look at it and fix it. How is that right? It was within 30 days!! After arguing my point the lady I was talking to said she would enter a ticket and someone would call me in a few days to set up an appointment. A week later no call, called the lady I was dealing with at the store and she appolagized and said she would look into it give her a few days. Again no call after a week. I called back and was handed off to someone else. I was asked to send pictures of it but it ended up being the same BS run around. They eventually got back to me weeks later after I had to call them and said that it was normal wear, so I guess I have to deal with a new sofa that looks like it has been used for several years. VERY VERY VERY disappointed in the way this store handeled this and I hope someone from coperate sees this. I will not be making any more purchases from Ashley Furniture

Terrible customer service (customer care line). I ordered a furniture set and spent over 3k over a month ago. It was supposed to be delivered end of January. When called and asked about it, they said there was a mistake in the warehouse and some items were on backorder. They mentioned that I could receive compensation by talking to the store directly, and that it was now updated to Mar 4th. Today is Mar 5th. I called the store and every extension number was invalid for Frisco. I called the customer care line, who then decided to put me on hold to call every number until they put me into touch with someone who gave me another phone number to call. This took 30 min. When I called that phone number I was given, it said the verizon phone number was no longer in service. I called the customer care line again since it is the only line available for anyone to reach, and was put on hold again as the agent tried to connect me to someone. When he finally reached someone, the lady told him she could waive delivery and he then told me he would handle it instead of making me transfer to her line. Instead he put me on hold, and then suddenly transferred me to a lady who decided to give me an attitude and ask me the same questions I have answered already. When I told her about the 'unserviceable number I was given by an agent' after being unable to reach the homestore, she questioned me about how that number isn't 'anywhere on her sheets, and that we only have 800 numbers' - implying that I was somehow lying. At this point I asked for compensation, and she said that I can only get the delivery charge waived. I said that was fine, and that I would go into the store to ask for additional compensation tomorrow or I'd likely cancel. She took offense at that and cuts me off, saying: "I'm sorry you can only have one or the other. I won't submit a delivery fee waive if you're going into the store tomorrow to ask for more. It's either one or the other. " She said this in a condescending tone, and I told her to cancel the order altogether and that I would take my business elsewhere. And that's how you lose a customer for life.

Placed and order in July, item was promised on October.. Yesss.. October. Finally they delivered part of the order (Order a bedroom set, but delivered a side table and a dresser, it is like booking a car from a dealership and they deliver you 4 tires). NEVER received a call from Ashley about further delay or NO UPDATES regarding the order( Not even an email ). I had to contact the customer service team for 2 months to finally figure out that my order is ready for delivery on DECEMBER. Don't believe the salesman over there. They will tell you, that they can deliver the order earlier than anyone else, because you are buying directly from Ashley. I have friends ordered their furniture from other stores(Ashely Furniture) who got their furniture in a month. They WONT give you an update on your order just because they don't want you to cancel the order. FINALLY after almost 5 months of wait and 2 months of calling they scheduled my order for delivery on Dec. NEVER received a call from Ashley regarding the delay ( I understand that there could be some delay than usual due to the pandemic situation going on now) But come on.. 5 months... after promising it after 2 months, WITHOUT providing any updates. NEVER going to this store again. ***UPDATE*** I finally received my final delivery(that's what I expected) but still a partial order. As per the response in this comment. I contacted the email address provided and got a response from a person singing off with a title and a phone number and and extension. I tired to reach this person directly when I received partial order again. Guess what? That extension provided in the email is not even a valid extension!! Fortunately, I was able to get another agent which was able to track the item. She figured out, that the item is IN STOCK but and didn't find a reason that they have not delivered it. This lady was really helpful and she was the only person who was able to help me with this order or provide any accurate information since placing the order. Still waiting for the item to get delivered.

Best shopping experience ever! Sometimes walking into a furniture store is like walking onto a car dealership lot, you are dodging sales people left and right. While that may be a sales method, some customers like knowing they can ask questions without being pushed or escorted around a sales floor -I’m that type of customer. I like to feel that when I am looking at purchasing something from a sales person that I am comfortable with the conversation in the sense that I am not being pushed into making a purchase because someone wants to close another sale. I walked into Ashley Furniture Frisco yesterday and was immediately greeted by Pam at the front of the store, I asked her where I could find dinning rooms and she helped me understand the layout of the floor by styles. I browsed and found the table I’ve been eyeing for a little while; as I approached Pam to answer a couple of questions on the piece, she followed me over to the table and let me lead the conversation, before I knew it I was so comfortable with how the experience was going that I ended up purchasing the dining set. Throughout the process Pam was very knowledgeable about the furniture she is very personable and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I was not expecting to necessarily make the purchase yesterday but there was just such a good energy about the experience that I am so happy I did make my purchase; I am excited to get my new dining set and when I am ready for my next piece/s I know I will go directly to the Frisco location to see Pam and the team even though I have an Ashley store about 5 minutes from where I live. Customers will always go out of their own way and drive a little further when they have a great experience shopping because we like to feel good about the investments/purchases that we make. Thank you to Pam and Jeremy for such a great experience at the store yesterday, I look forward to working with you in the near future for a few more pieces!

I really wanted to like my experience at Ashley home store in Frisco. On August 16, 2020 we went into the store in Frisco, had an excellent customer service rep who was very helpful in helping us to find what we needed. We paid cash for a sectional sofa and a chair with ottoman. We were able to take the chair home that day because it was on clearance. On the sectional we were told it would be 6 - 8 weeks for delivery but we would be getting updates every 2 weeks. We did not once receive a email or text update. I tried calling the store a few times and it would either get disconnected or I could not get through to anyone. On October 15, 2020 (almost 2 months after the purchase was made) I was finally able to speak with someone in customer service in a call center for Ashley Furniture (not from the Frisco store) who told me that the order was just sitting in the computer and had never been processed or sent to the department that sets up delivery. This week I called (which was a 40 minute phone call due to hold time) and was told that the sofa was no longer in stock. I requested to speak with a supervisor who then told me that the sofa was in stock but there was no purchase order in the system to process it. When was anyone going to ever tell me this? Had yall just planned on keeping my money and hoping I would forget about the sofa I ordered back in August? So I cancelled the order. I was told they cannot start the process of giving me my money back over the phone and the store in Frisco would have to contact me regarding the order. That was two days ago. I just called the store in Frisco and of course got someone's answer machine. My issue is that NOT once during this entire ordeal has anyone reached out to me to update me on my sofa or apologize for the delay. I realize that we are in a pandemic but that should not affect customer service especially when I paid in full. So now I am going to have to make another trip into the store (an hour from where I live) to cancel the order and hopefully get my money back. I would NOT recommend shopping with them and I highly doubt I will make a future purchase with them. If you want the experience of no one contacting you after paying in full and having to waste time on the phone trying to figure out where your order is... then this is the place for you.

I share the same sentiment as the other customers that has visited the Frisco store location. Upon entering the store you are greeted warmly and once the purchase has been completed that’s when the issues start. Jacob was great at assisting us with our purchase. We were told two weeks - three weeks for delivery. Purchased the first week of May and by the first week of June, I still didn’t have any furniture and no correspondence from Jacob or the store. I waited another week just to be sure and reasonable due to Covid. Upon calling the store, which took FOREVER because they don’t answer incoming calls, I finally got a hold of a store rep and was told all of my items were on back order. When I asked, “Why wasn’t I notified?!”, I was told that was the responsibility of my sales person. When I asked to speak with my sales person he was busy, so I asked for a courtesy call back. NEVER received that call. My husband and I finally went into the store to speak with anyone that could assist us with a refund. We sat near the back desk for more than 30 minutes waiting on someone to assist us. When we were asked if we needed assistance by other sales associates and explained what we needed, we were told to wait for Jacob. At some point Jacob completed his call and left us sitting.....waiting. As he was headed into a back office we finally had to get loud to get any attention. We completed the required form for a refund and was told it would take two weeks. That was three weeks ago. My husband and I stopped into the store again to ask for assistance and was treated very nonchalantly. If you aren’t spending money they don’t make time for you. Reaching out to their corporate office is no help either. Don’t bother calling the location. They won’t answer and the 1-800 number takes 48 - 96 hours to respond. I guess I will visit the store location daily until this is resolved. I will never purchase from Ashley again. Covid or not communication is essential and customer service shouldn’t be compromised because you have already received payment.

Will never buy from here again. Overall terrible customer service and delivery service. We bought a bedroom set (head board, dresser and nightstand). The delivery was terrible. First: They delivered the wrong dresser. The dresser they did deliver the delivery guys left a broken leg on dresser. Luckily we caught it as they were leaving. Of course the dresser that we did order was not in stock. So now we have to wait for the correct dresser. Second: As they were delivering they chipped a piece of our wood stairwell in our brand new house and did not say anything. Third: the nightstand they delivered has a busted package of those “fresh beads” (am not sure what they’re called). But some kind of beads were in every single drawer and crevice of the nightstand. We attempted to vacuum them out before calling customer service. But was unable to get them out of the tracks of the drawers so the drawers do not close properly. Called customer service and sent pictures via email. Was told I’d receive a call back in 24-48 hours. Never received a call. Called customer service again and said to give it another 24hours and that I’d receive a call. Never received a call. Called them again. And the customer service lady said “so what you’re saying is the delivery guys just left the nightstand there with the beads in it. They would have said something before they left.” No they didn’t just like they didn’t say anything about the broken leg. Finally. I was fed up with calling multiple times. And asked for my money back and for them to pick up the wrong/broken dresser and nightstand. She said no we’re not doing returns at this time. She said they don’t even do exchanges but that she would make an exception. Which is ridiculous because the entire thing is their fault. So now we have paid for a nightstand and dresser that we cannot even use. Very upset with their customer service. Jacob - the store manager has been very helpful. But he can only do so much before transferring us to customer service. Highly recommend to not order from here.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative and exasperating experience with the Ashely Furniture HomeStore, located in Frisco, Texas. I purchased the Harlinton dresser from them, and decided to pick it up myself, in order to avoid their $90 home delivery fee. The trip to their warehouse in Grand Prairie where I had to drive to pick it up took almost 3 hours round trip, as it is no where near the actual store where I made my purchase, in Frisco. When I finally got the Harlinton Dresser home and unboxed it, I found out that 2 of its 6 drawers were cracked and damaged significantly, and that there were several other defects in the craftsmanship of the product. The dresser is made of extremely cheap and flimsy materials, had paint chipping off of its hardware, glue spilling out around its seams, and sticky adhesive residue that was not easy to remove remaining, under the large “tip-over warning” safety sticker inside of one of its drawers. Indeed the dresser was very tippy once placed into the carpeted bedroom for which it was intended, and it was obvious that we would definitely need to anchor it to the wall, if we wanted it to remain upright. I would advise anyone with small children or pets to avoid Ashely’s furniture on the grounds of safety alone. If you are wondering why Ashely Furniture displays no photos of the back views of their dressers on their website (you can only view their furniture from their front and side angles), I would venture to guess that they are avoiding showing you the backs of their dressers, so you cannot see how poorly constructed they are before you purchase them. The back of the Harlinton Dresser is made out of a piece of chipboard that has been haphazardly stapled onto its frame. The fact that they didn’t even use small nails to hold the chipboard backing onto the dresser speaks volumes about the cheapness with which it was made. I bought this dresser from the Ashely Furniture HomeStore in Frisco because I mistakenly believed that buying a dresser that comes pre-assembled would save me time and effort. I wanted the dresser to be ready to use immediately, but nearly 2 months after having purchased it- it remains broken and useless. And I could not have anticipated the terrible customer service experience that I would wind up having with the Frisco franchise of the Ashley Furniture HomeStore company. When I contacted their customer care department to request replacement parts for the damaged pieces of my dresser- they first sent a “repairman,” to my home, who did not have any replacement parts with him. His visit was a complete waste of my time- and his. It then took 3 weeks before replacement drawers for my dresser arrived in the mail. When I opened the boxes that were sent by the company, I discovered that a clerical error had occurred on the company’s end, and that they had mistakenly sent me the wrong sized drawers for my unit. Rather than being apologetic and rushing to correct their mistake- the company told me that I would have to wade through another pointless home visit from their repairmen, and endure a second long wait, before new replacement drawers would be mailed out to my home again. Having wasted a month and a half on this problem dresser already, and seeing no resolution to its problems on the horizon, I told the company’s customer service department that I would like to return their defective dresser, and have my money refunded- instead of pursuing- attempting to fix it, any further. Suffice it to say that the company’s already bad attitude got drastically worse. I have been unable to procure a refund of the $240+ I spent on the useless piece of junk dresser they sold me, and I have been disrespected and given the run around by their customer service department when I attempted to resolve this matter with them civilly in more than a half dozen phone calls to them. Beware of this company. If you find that you are dissatisfied with their defective furnishings, as I did- you may well find it as difficult as I have to procure a refund.

Editing my review to add details per Ryan's request. When we first arrived there was trash everywhere out front of the store. I told the first person I saw at the stand at the front and he asked, "where?" and I pointed to a particularly large piece you could easily see from where we were standing. "There, and there's a lot more, it's everywhere." 'Yeah, well, it's super windy today.' We'd called the store earlier in the day and when we came in asked for that person. Shortly after we arrived he told us that another family he was helping had arrived and directed us to a kiosk, and that he'd be back soon. We were looking for sleeper sofas but the images were only showing the products as sleepers, not as couches when they're folded up. Flagged a different associate down and he seemed very annoyed (with us, not the kiosk) as he explained how to see it, and then took off. After struggling on the kiosk for a while doing what we probably could have done from home more easily than on the kiosk we said forget it and left. Associate we'd notified about the trash was by the front door, talking to someone else, and the trash was exactly where it'd been when we'd first arrived. I am extremely disappointed that when the front of the store had litter all around it that wasn't immediately addressed. Even if not from an environment point of view you'd think the associates would be vested in disassociating trash from the first impression of the store. I was also disappointed that the associate that was helping us so quickly left us at a machine with a promise he'd be back soon. It was very slow, and we'd barely spoken on the phone, I know they work on commission but after a 5 min phone call he really should have just let someone else help us rather than us leave. There should be more teamwork between associates to ensure customers are taken care of, even if it means spending a little time picking up trash or helping someone who isn't "yours."

Do your own research before going into the store. My boyfriend and I were looking for extra tall bar stools and went into stores to see if we could find one that had them in-store so we could take them that day. We were greeted immediately by Cole and he quickly assisted us with looking at options that would meet our needs for bar stools. The store did not have any extra tall bar stools in the show room (first clue) so we had to resort to looking at a monitor to narrow down options. I'll be honest, throughout the experience I felt pressured and a bit scrutinized about not being happy with the colors or designs of the options presented to me. We continually explained that the bar stools' seats should be at least 33 inches in height for our needs. Despite our goal of wanting to purchase stools to take home that day, we went with the option that I felt pressured to buy and decided to have the items shipped to the warehouse on the other side of the city otherwise it would've cost $100 to have it delivered (the price of 1 bar stool!) Two weeks later, the bar stools were ready to be picked up. We traveled 50 minutes to the warehouse and opened the boxes as suggested to check for damages (that's all we looked for). Once we got it home and took out all of the pieces from the box, the chair legs did not look as long as what we would've needed. Searched online using the product code of what was ordered and low and behold, these were NOT extra tall bar stools. They do not HAVE extra tall bar stools. So then we had to travel 50 minutes back to the warehouse to return our bar stools and guess what,...3 weeks later now, we still don't have bar stools! Like I said, do your research and know exactly what you want because sometimes you cannot trust the associates to get things 100% accurate. I know some of this was my fault for not double-checking everything thoroughly, but like I said, I relied too much on the associate to know what we wanted. What a waste of time on our end.

Updated Feb 2019 Placed a BBB complaint and Ashley Corporate called me within 2 days. Corporate management took special interest in my case and assigned a executive assistant to my case. Had the bed delivered within 1 week of the call. I encourage anyone with issues with delivery from this store place a BBB complaint since Corporate can magically find allocation of furniture that store management cannot. Update 01/25/2019 Called... Now they think they will get the bed end of Feb. Asked for the two managers on staff Johnny and Gary. Somehow both were unavailable. I asked Johnny to give me a call back with a plan and no call back. Update: 1/19/2019 Called today for an update and was told end of the month or early next month. Yep going on to week 16 now and you guessed it, not apologetic at all. Edit: We purchased over $3000 worth of furniture beginning of October. (October 6th) Despite the money spent, we were only able to take two deliveries for free. Our bed had a lead time of 6 weeks so we decided to have the coffee table and bed delivered after 6 weeks. Firstly, I would mention that the delivery times cannot be selected and a time frame for delivery cannot be estimated. They will give you a date, and you will be required to have someone home all day until they deliver it. (nice way to spend a Saturday waiting on furniture) It is now getting closer to end of November, and when I called to ask where the second shipment was, I was told that it will be in around December 5th and it would take another 5 days after they receive it to schedule delivery. Over two and a half months of sleeping on a mattress on the floor is pretty unacceptable. What are they growing the tree, cutting it down, and then making it? Another company that treats you like they don't know you after they make the sale. The furniture is decent but they better get on the customer-centric business model or they will be out of business in no time. Called again at week 10. I was told that now it is pushed back another 6 weeks. No apology by any staff including manager. Went in to the store and Matti, a manager, gave no alternative other than canceling, picking a new bed, or waiting. No extra discount to pick a new bed (that was promised by a different manager over the phone Johnny) and no option to have our other furniture attached to the bed (coffee table) shipped separately at no additional cost. She just said "You can pick up the coffee table yourself) We really wished we never gave this store our business but it seems like we are kind of stuck with them since other furniture that are delivered match with the coffee table and bed we are waiting on. Stay away and don't be fooled by their sales pitches and dont be fooled by these 5 star rating. The salesman asks you to rate the store at the end of the sale and stands right next to you while you do it. Obviously people, like myself, are going to be pressured to give 5 stars.

12/2 - Ordered a trinell loft bed for my son which he loved since the first time he laid his eyes on in September. We placed an order immediately paying in full. Mansour was our agent. He made sure and promised that we receive the product on 17th even though the finance lady printed it as 19th. On time delivery was my only requirement 12/3 - called customer care, said that they will receive the product on 7th and will receive a phone call for delivery. We were surprised and thought of early delivery made me and my wife extremely happy :) 12/7 - called customer service, said the product will be dispatched from manufacturer on 12th/14th dec. Was taken aback but still assumed its on schedule(Not sure why the the disconnect with earlier information). 12/14 - called customer serivce, said that they still havent received it.But I will get a call on 15th/16th. 12/17 - received a phone call confirming appointment a (4 hr window) on a weekday on 12/20. 12/20 - In the afternoon the delivery guy delivers the product and says that product cannot be assembled together since its missing railings which are mandatory to keep the furniture together. (This is exactly the kind of surprises that I do not like at the last moment. Note in a couple of days it christmas. My worst fear became a fact now) I asked the guy why did he get it in when there is an issue with the order. He speaks to warehouse and says that warehouse is speaking to the store and probably they can get railings out by today/tomorrow. I will receive a call back. After 1hr and 30 min the store is still trying to figure out whats wrong with the product!!! I called them numerous times with no concrete response from the store or warehouse. Ultimately one nice agent Angelic says that there is a manufacturing defect and will have to be returned. I was told that I will receive a phone call from Aaron(Storage Manager) by evening. No callback hence called them just before 6:00pm. Says Aaron will call on thursday noon. 12/21 - No response from Manager until noon, called him and says he gonna call back before EOD. Received a phone call just before 6:00pm that he will hear somethign back on Saturday noon and he will surely call back by noon. (That means my son is not getting his bed for christmas. I was angry,hurt,disappointed.) 12/23 - Its little over noon,no response from the warehouse or store manager. Wife says "u short fuse better stay at home, I am gonna check at the store". Reached store by 1:15pm. Spoke to store manager Aaron who started checking at a different store. Aaron says he can make it deliver on friday /saturday next week. I have no idea why he did not have the same information on Wednesday. My wife waited for an hour almost. She cancelled it for a bad cutomer service from store,manufacturer and delivery. They were willing to refund 100$ which she gladly refused. Also note they wanted to send me a temporary bed which we gladly refused since that could mean they can take their own time for delivery now. Issues: - Long delivery time - 4 hr window of delivery. This is difficult if you all are working professional. - A product that cannot be assembled is sitting at my home since 12/20. - They will be picking it up on 12/27(Thats the latest update). My refund will take another 7-10 business days after they receive the defective product!. I will have their heavy furniture sitting at my home all through Christmas. - No callbacks from the store/warehouse not even store manager Aaron on the status. - It took them 4 days and my wife to go physically to the store to figure it out that they have it elsewhere and will be delivered in 7/8 days. Other store will let you know the same freaking day. Take your business elsewhere if you are hard bent on time. They have no reason to care for you. Its only money that matters to them. I personally will never recommend Ashleys to anyone. Its a very bad experience for me in such a beautiful time of the year . I should have known better.... Update: 12/23 @ 5:45pm. furniture will be picked on 12/29 & not as promised by Aaron on 12/28

Started at Nebraska Furniture Mart and found this to be a grave mistake. Sales staff @ NFM in home furnishings have no product knowledge and sell strictly on price and try to get you out the door. Was hard getting a salesperson in the first place to help! We found an Ashley bedroom set we loved and ended up going across the street to the Ashley Homestore in Frisco. Bob Bablu greeted us promptly and courteously right from the start. He asked what we were looking for and he was absolutely perfect and flawless in his service. Bob showed us the bedroom sets and even explained the differences in materials, finishes and qualities. He took in consideration of our needs and compromises due to our pet situation and showed us a perfect match for the color, design and finish we were looking for. I had told Bob we had been at the Nebraska Furniture Mart and asked if he would price match. He BEAT the prices! Ends up, you buy direct from Ashley when you visit a Homestore. Period. Bob went over every detail of our transaction and made my furniture purchasing experience one that I will never forget. Bob is an absolute asset to to Ashley Furniture and Ashley furnishings are hands down the best quality and craftsmanship for your price. I assure you, I am not an employee, friend of an employee or have any ties to Ashley Homestore. I am a 100% fan of Bob and Ashley furniture. When I get on here to write a review, it goes to show my experience was truly exceptional and amazing. No grimy sales tactics and empty promises. Bob and Ashley delivered everything as stated! ( BTW...I drove over an hour, I am not a local) Bob has worked for the company for years and it shows. His product knowledge is vast and very helpful in choosing the right furniture for your needs and budget. I would highly recommend visiting Bob as he won me over from the circus act retail giants that surround his store location. The experience was phenomenal. See Bob @ the Ashley Homestore in Frisco and I assure you, he will give 100% of his time, knowledge and consideration of your needs.

I was going through some of the reviews here. I guess reviewers have not done a true justice by giving either 1 star or 5 star either. No real information for buyers.. so I thought to put some review and it has been 2 years since I purchased first furniture from Ashley. Here I go: Options available in store: Medium. Construction of furniture: Hardwood for most products, Leather also available- so good Style: Can be improved, Okay - do not gives you a feel of rich luxury furniture but workable and practical. Delivery: I have purchased furniture of almost $15,000 from Ashley. Mostly hassle free. No issues/damaged good. Also arrived at expected time. Salesperson did set expectation that some pieces are not available in their local warehouse. So I was expecting some delay. Warranty: I purchased a 5 year warranty plan additionally at 10% extra cost of entire product as I was not sure of quality. However haven't seen any major issues in products so was not able to utilize it. However 5 year warranty issue is somewhat tricky. They say you get the full 10% additional money back if you don't have a single warranty issue in 5 years. I have few minor issues (very small) and hence I didn't call them (else I stand to lose $1500). If I would not have purchased the warranty plan - I would have called them in initial 1st year at least for those minor issue (normal warranty is 1 year). So take a call if you really want to purchase a warranty plan. Otherwise it definitely gives piece of mind against any major failure. Quality: Most are hardwood options (hence better than Ikea), in sofa they have all different options. I bought a leather sofa - it seems to be standing against children abuse from last 2 years. No sagging or leather lose. However when compared to my Macy's sofa which was definitely higher in price it is not so stylish. Still gives a decent look to home. Working for me as compared to Macy's it is just half the price. Cost/Price: This is where it is super tricky to shop at this place. They offer various discounts at different times. 20% entire purchase if value 2500 more or 20% off if buying above 5 items more etc.. I like the later one as you really don't need to buy $2500 to meet the discount point - however all are geared towards for customer to buy more. So if you have a small budget - or buying just one off item - this may not be the shop for you. Additionally Sales people seems to have some discounts available (mostly when there is no major promotion going on). So it all gets messy and with Sales person some bargain may work... I follow this rule of thumb after several purchases - if you get a discount between 20-25% range you are getting a fair price. Style: Just ok. At price they offer seem to be fair. Also remember you are not buying something unique which your near door neighbor wont have. This is a very popular store and furniture store in area. Sales/Support: I don't find any problem interacting with Sales folks if they can offer me innovative pricing options, suggest idea. Yes don't rely on their suggestions on quality etc. , they may try to sell few that they like :) but you have to be best judge. In fact I found they help and they have experience to work through the process, prices etc.. Finance: Limited. Poor. They offer store based credit card (to be paid back over several month) with very low limit - up to $5000. Also if you have purchased on that card earlier - you cannot apply for fresh finance. So if you purchased $2500 earlier - you have only $2500 additionally available for finance. Another issue is - credit institution like Experian etc are treating this Credit Card loan as just credit card purchase hence showing one of my credit card is full and hence lowering my credit score substantially - this is unlike Macy's that do not reports credit full to bureaus if I take furniture from them on installments on Macy card.. so the banking institution that Ashley is working with wants us to pay for the loan ASAP :) . Also multiple queries on my SSN. Bad :(. Dont finance from here. Overall: OK

I Should have read some reviews before going to shop at this Ashley's location. It IS (because the process is still going on and you will see in a moment) one of the worst experiences I have ever had buying/getting furniture. I just read a review where the person said the sales folks lie to you to make a sale and are unclear on actual delivery time. On Memorial Day Weekend - Our sales lady was the same way. She told us that the furniture we wanted was not all in stock and is on back order. She told us it would be 4 to 6 weeks. I personally think that is a very long time for two night stands but ok we still want it. 4 wks go by no ph call. I call to check. I was told 2 more weeks, ok that is still in the window. 6 wks come no ph call. I call I was told 2 more weeks. I ask why they tell me they don't know why but they are looking at the monitor and it says 2 wks. Ok at this point I'm starting to get a little upset. 2 wks go by - guess what - yep now ph call. I have to call they tell me next week and they are looking at the monitor and it says next week. LIES. the next week comes and goes no ph call I call again. I get the head GM and he tells me sorry but it is on the monitor and says next week. At this point i blow up. I ask him did you have to travel to the other side of the world to get the Wood to make these two little night stands!!!!! Now while all this is going on they had broken our mirror from the start and said it would be out the next week. It did but at that point I was told the night stands would be out next week just bring it out all together. RIGHT!!! When they finally call and tell us that the night stands are in the also tell us the mirror is broken AGAIN! In the excitement of finally getting our night stands we failed to ask when a new mirror was to come and they didn't tell us. So now another week goes by and I have to call again and ask about another piece. Guess what they told me - Yep Next week. So the Saga goes on. To add Ashley's furniture is well made and good quality so if you like ashley's furniture I suggest you order offline or another store. DO NOT GO TO THE FRISCO LOCATION.

I had bought a sectional from Ashley in Frisco Tx. The sales person kept talking about the quality of the furniture being excellent and how they only use top grade materials, included 5 year warranty, and on top of that the special financing, for 0% for 24 months. Needless to say me and my wife were excited about our purchase. Then came the time to sign the papers and arrange a delivery date. UUUUUGGGHHH. They said that they have to get the items from there warehouse in a different state and it would take a week to get, maybe sooner. So we decided for nice furniture we went ahead and agreed to purchase the sofa. Two weeks go by and we hear nothing. We called and it was going to be another two weeks. A whole month before we get our furniture. Then on top of that they want a 6 hours window for you to be home. What a joke... We called the customer service to see what the issue is. They are the most rude, unprofessional people i have ever spoke to. The people they hired for "customer service" sounded like they just got hired from a state penitentiary. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Delivery went fine, they actually arrived during the first hour of their 6 hour window. We were allowed to check the items, and we signed off. Now for the fun stuff. 3 months later our sofa starts to rip on the back cushion. It just keeps getting bigger and bigger so we contacted the customer service to get fixed. They said we have to contact their warranty department, there is nothing they can do to help. Same "state penitentiary" attitude. We finally were able to contact he warranty department and they said we have to fill out all this paperwork online. I did that and we jut got busy with moving and other family issues so this got put on the back burner. Then we have the other recliners start to rip in the same areas. We called three months down the road trying to find out why we have not been contacted to get our sofa fixed, now that we have new damage. Again they have us filling out more paperwork and saying they will get back to us. I called again two weeks later, same thing, need more paperwork. We finally get them everything they asked for, another two months down the road, and guess what? They will not cover the first damaged item because it was not reported within 5 days. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" I ASKED IF THIS WAS IN THE CONTRACT, THEY SAID IT IS" Nobody at Ashley told us we had a time frame other than the 5 yrs of warranty to give them a call. YOU HAVE TO CALL WITHIN 5 DAYS OF DAMAGE OR THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT COVER THE DAMAGE. AGAIN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. They are going to fix the other damage because we wouldn't give them a date on the damage. It took them months to get back to us, if we didn't keep calling them, they wouldn't do jack squat.
