Even though it did take a while to get everything we ordered it was worth the wait. The wait time had nothing to do with the store itself. Maryassisted us from the beginning and answered any questions we had during the process. The delivery crew did amazing and are very respectful as well, they made sure everything was in order before leaving our home.

So is this customer service okay? First, Delivery took almost two months. My elderly parents expected to receive a real leather couch but their house reeked of plastic on delivery. They questioned the quality and were suspicious that it was plastic. Delivery people couldn’t confirm and so Full disclosure, my mom did test a small section behind the couch with a lighter to show it wasn’t leather and that’s their justification for not accepting a return. they had to go back to the store for clarification. For $2600, you would expect real leather not sneaky “leather where you sit” after they complained. This is deceptive! As retirees that money is not frivolously spent as they expected a quality purchase. So it’s okay to sell a cheap mostly PLASTIC product advertised as leather, but the customer cannot prove you wrong about it. Quite literally burning money purchasing at Ashley in Greenville TX since they paid in cash and the store will not offer an exchange nor a refund for customer satisfaction. Make sure your sales people are clear about what is leather because I know my old school parents didn’t think they were buying plastic.

I am formally documenting an unacceptable customer service experience involving management at this location. My parents were explicitly told they were purchasing a leather couch. Upon delivery, it became apparent the material was not leather, at which point the issue was raised in good faith at the time of delivery. The manager’s response was dismissive, condescending, and unprofessional. He refused to provide corporate contact information, declined to offer a refund, and spoke to my sister who was there on behalf of my mother in a demeaning manner, implying my mother “did not know better” due to a lack of prior furniture purchases. Regardless of any dispute over product details, misrepresentation of materials and disrespectful treatment of customers, particularly older customers, is unacceptable. While the delivery issue was eventually corrected, the manager’s conduct reflects a serious failure in customer service and accountability. This experience warrants review by corporate leadership. We will not be returning and highly recommend others avoid this establishment.
