Not only did he deliver great customer service but he was able to get what I needed within my price range. Charles was really easy to work with and was patient with us throughout the whole process. My wife and I went in there with a mission of buying a dresser for our babies room and ended finding one at the store. I mentioned to Charles that I was also interested in buying a mattress in the next couple of months. He introduced to Alex and showed us all the mattresses they had available at the store, we were there for at least an hour trying out different kind of mattresses. My visit at this location in Katy was an 10/10, definitely going back for future purchases on any furniture. Thank you!

I was in the Katy location. Went in there to look for table lamps. Had an idea on what, i wanted. Their online site, offers a lot to look at. But very limited inside the store. Didn’t see the table lamps, i wanted online. I saw something close to what i wanted and settled for what they have in the store. I was thinking, i could take that home that day. But, they dont carry any extra in their store. The Sales Person, had to order it for me. Which is fine. But she didnt know or have an idea of when it will be shipped to me. It’s been a week since, I’ve ordered it. I have not heard from Ashley Furniture on any updates on my order. So I'm wondering, when I’ll be getting my lamps? As a big company like this, there should be some kind of update for the shipping part. But no update at all. This would be something, i would change for this company. Better communication for their online order clients.

I am a 50 something female who not only recently moved to Houston with no family and recently bought a mattress and a chest from the Katy location. My sales person Felicia did not explain their “doorstep delivery” or the fact that once an item is delivered it can’t be returned. I have a queen sized mattress that is in a box that I cannot pick up to put in my bedroom. They refused to take it out the box. If I received the proper communication I would have made an informed decision of not purchasing ANYTHING from this place! I asked about warranty in reference to the mattress and she couldn’t give me any information. I’ve purchased from Ashley in other states but never had this experience before. I was told that “doorstep delivery” is like AMAZON! Well I should have purchased from AMAZON at least you can return when you’re not satisfied. So my suggestion buy from Amazon before here since they referred to themselves like Amazon. The to open up chest and to have a nic that I didn’t cause is crazy! UPDATE…yesterday I was told that Paula with customer service would contact me by 6pm. As of today I haven’t heard from Paula. I filed a complaint about the damaged chest yesterday and will see if this is resolved accordingly.

Rodney was my Salesman he did a GREAT JOB 👍! but when it came to product availability it was like all of the sudden I was working with a different company. Some of the products I selected were either not in stock or they didn't sell it anymore. Now let me explain to you Ashley Furniture Store has been sending me emails at least 2 times a day with different specials DAILY to get me in the store to make a purchase, then when I do they don't even have the product available for me to buy. So it's been a month since my purchase and I am being told that one of my items would take 3 more months to be delivered. Another item was supposed to be scheduled for delivery on Tuesday and the representative forgot to put it in the system. So I had to reschedule it for another day. ULTIMATELY, I made the purchase to prepare for guest coming Easter weekend. HAPPY EASTER to me!! Thank you Ashley Furniture,

I brought my couch out right, my issue is I started shopping a week and the sale person quoted me 1,883 that’s shipping and taxes so when I went to buy the sectional, the prices now 2200. On top of that the sale person I worked with passed me to another salesman when I arrived to the store.

Financial fraud. Do not buy from this company. They refuse to offer refunds for items WE HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED. What kind of company does that? A canceled item that was never received, and they still making us pay for said item. Can't you see it was canceled? Scam artists. Heed my words, and do not go here unless you want to be charged extra by surprise.

The salesman that helped me was so damn rude and so pushy and fast paced and so unfriendly and unwelcoming his name was brian fritz, i went to get a rug that was mentioned to be in store for pick up and after he said its not and that he will assist me to order it , he only told me it'll take up to 3 weeks after the rushed purchase was done. I needed the rug soon. Horrible experience lack of professionalism.

Recently bought some furniture at Ashley furniture in Katy and had the best experience with Bianca and Charles is so knowledgeable about mattresses. They made the best team of getting all my questions answered so that I could make an informed decision before I decided to purchase. Bianca went above and beyond with helping getting my old bedroom set removed so that I could get my new bedroom set as soon as possible. If I ever need more furniture, she is my to go person. I HIGHLY recommend her as your sales rep if you are deciding to make a purchase at Ashley furniture in Katy. *UPDATE- 2/21/2025- Delivery…..Horrible process what I am having to deal with which significant changed my rating. Just got my bed delivered yesterday and while the delivery people were here I told them that the feet on this adjustable base needs to be lowered because the bed is too high and I know it can get lowered because my last adjustable base have the same type of feet on it. The delivery guys had no clue what I was talking about and admitted they have never put together an adjustable base with a lift on it. Now the lift on the bed has nothing to do with the feet on the adjustable base but again they were clueless. Now I’m getting the run around from so many people from Ashley furniture to try to get somebody out here that knows what they’re doing. They went to the extent of closing a my ticket stating as you see in the photo that it should have been addressed at delivery….which it was by me! But obviously their people don’t know what they are doing. I still have not had this addressed by them to get anybody out here to fix it. That’s how bad their service is. I still commend the sales people I dealt with but the delivery and the warehouse are horrible, which makes me not ever want to refer Ashley furniture to anybody. I always bought my furniture from them in the past, but they definitely lost my business with this one.

Ashley Furniture tried to bait and switch us. They showed us pricing and switched it at financing to almost double. We specifically asked about pricing and financing before we shopped. We even got an approval before hand, because the pricing and terms looked so good. The sales lady Bianca told us one thing and then when we went to finance, the price more than doubled and the financing was not the same terms they told us before. These people are trash mammals and dishonest. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!

Adame was so great! He welcomed me and my mom in and offered us some water, gave us a rundown on the store layout, and asked us if we had any questions. It’s my first time living alone and buying any furniture, so he was able to help me narrow down what I was looking for and find pieces that I love. He also gave me some advice when I asked his opinion on how I could style the furniture together, and he was able to help me get a discount for everything I purchased! Overall, I really enjoyed my first ever experience at Ashley Furniture and I look forward to coming back soon for my bedroom furniture.

The worst store I ever experienced they are liars they will lie to you about delivery dates to get you to purchase. Adam told me straight to my face everything was going to be delivered on a certain day he assured me of that however that was not case. I would never purchase anything from this company again.

Marcos Escobar greeted us at the door and immediately asked what we had in mind and how he could assist us. We needed a vanity chair and showed us what he had on floor and looked up others for my daughter. At the end of our visit he found what we wanted and even personally carried it out to our vehicle. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. The furniture is cheaply made. Please don't purchase the extended warranty because everything they say is covered is not. I filled a claim because my ottoman tore a few months after purchase the stand were coming out, the warranty company didn't cover it and Ashley said they see where I called to get it replaced they sent the stuffing but I waited to late to call them back after explaining I almost lost my child in an accident who is now blind. They are insensitive and cheap. DO NOT BUY WARRANTY ITS A FRAUD AND DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

We had the most amazing customer service experience on Saturday at this location. Mr John Hasselbatch went above and beyond to show us around and explain how pricing and offers work. He was very patient when we tried to finance the sofa before deciding to pay in full to avoid the headache. John even did his best to schedule the delivery before our travel day and when asked a question he wasn’t sure about, he always double checked with his manager to make sure we got the right answer. We really did not intend to buy from Ashley that day but let’s just say that John’s care made us reconsider. They are lucky they have him (when we visited 2 months ago nobody cared to explain things so we just left). We are so excited to receive our new sofa!

I recently visited Ashley Furniture and was extremely unpleasant. This is the second time I’ve encountered poor service at this store.

Guy who answered the phone sounded uninterested and miserable. No greeting, no manners, and was overall rude. Ashley has become so lazy and low class, I don’t see myself giving them anymore business any time soon.

Rodney made it one of the best shopping experiences we have ever had. He is very pleasant and likeable.

They push you to purchase their protection plans and lie to you about what it all covers. And then years into it, you need to call and they blow you off and ignore you and wait till your protection plan expires and ghost you. So you’re wasting your money on their protection plans. 10/10 do not recommend!!!!

I had a very disappointing experience at Ashley’s furniture store. The sales associate, Mr. Jason Slangy, was not only rude but also disrespectful and unprofessional. It was clear that they had little regard for customer service, and their behavior made the whole shopping experience uncomfortable. What was even more frustrating was that the manager was present and did absolutely nothing to address the situation or offer any assistance. No one in the store seemed friendly or willing to help, so we ended up leaving without making a purchase. I will definitely not be returning and would not recommend this store to anyone looking for quality customer service.

Upon reading the reviews, it appears that there is a systematic issue going on. @Management - Please don't bother replying and asking me to call a 1800 number to resolve this matter. Instead, take time to talk to your sales people and fix your sales training and perhaps their incentive process that is leading to this type of behavior. On Sunday Dec 1, 2024 my wife and I visited the Ashley furniture store location on Restaurant Row, Katy TX. We were in the market for several furniture items but didn't specifically have one thing in mind when we walked in through the doors of this Ashley furniture store location. As soon as we walk in, we were approached by a Sales Associate, asking if he could assist. We respectfully said that we'd like to be left alone and would like to first walk around and then ask for help as needed. We did not realize that it's almost apparently a crime in this store, to look around and say no to the sales associate. This sales associate, who was clearly upset, kept hovering around us and making jokes (about us) with his colleagues, verbally taunting us for the next several minutes. He was passing comments almost generalizing my race. We had our teenage daughter with us, and we didn't want to create a scene by confronting him. We silently approached the manager, who made us wait until he was done with another customer, and then we explained the situation to him. He was so nonchalant about the whole situation and it appeared as if he was very much aware of this type of sales behavior. The manager was confused as to what he could do about the situation, seriously dude ?? I have never experienced this type of customer service and rude sales behavior in my life and I hope that no one experiences it. I don't want to include the names of the Sales person and the manager. IMO, they are merely reflecting the company culture and their tolerance for these types of behavior and the total disregard of 'customer experience'. What a shame ?

Purchasing furniture is like purchasing a vehicle. Not fun kinda stressful & aggressive sales associates are aggravating. I went because I had to and there was a sale. My sales associate wasn’t pleasant, was combative, and not well groomed. Would have preferred someone else. But it wasn’t a major investment so I didn’t push or ask for anyone else. I just wanted to get it & go.

OMG! Carve Phillips is the best salesman at Ashley Homestore. Over the weekend, I called for help with furnishing and designing my entire apartment. He helped me to refine my choices over the phone by sending photos of what I saw online. He came in to work early Monday morning to give me a tour based on my preferences. In no time we had my entire two-bedroom apartment furnished for an excellent price! It was unbelievable how he stayed in my budget without trying to oversell me. i would give this place zero stars if i would. me and my partner were in this store hoping to just look around for fun. when we first walked in and told the guy that we weren’t looking for anything in particular, he was confused but left us alone. maybe 2 minutes later i go to the restroom and while im in there, a worker goes up to my partner and asks what she’s doing, she tells him she’s waiting for me and that we’re just looking and he asks if we’re going to buy anything and she says “maybe, but we’re just looking” and he responds saying that he’s gonna need us to buy something atleast “10 dollars”. by the time i left the restroom, he was gone. we look around for maybe 2 more minutes and a nicer worker asks if we need any help and we say that we’re just looking and he politely says to let him know if we need any help. not even a minute later, the same guy who was talking to my partner earlier goes up to us and asks if we need any help. i said no thank you and that we were just looking, he asks again and i say that “we’re just looking for fun” and he responds saying that we “need to buy something atleast $10 dollars” and i respond saying no thank you and he keeps pushing. i say that if it’s a problem that we can leave and he said no and that we can buy a clock or lamp and i said no again. my partner pulled me away and we left. we were there for maybe 10 minutes and i didn’t feel comfortable being there.

We stopped by at this Ashley store and Rodney was the person who assisted us. He took the time to show us the different kind of bed sets they have in the store. We walked us all around giving us options to choose from, at the end we chose a nice bed frame with the night stands. Very good service and the quality was above our expectations. Our overall experience was outstanding in the Katy location everyone was very helpful that we encountered throughout the store! We came in looking for two specific furniture pieces for our business, and Phil was incredibly helpful. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us warmly, introduced himself, and asked what were we searching for. He also shared details about the great sale happening in the store. I showed him images we were interested in, and he made the entire process super easy. Even though the pieces were not in the store he went above and beyond to show us a similar pieces to give us an idea of the height and color. Phil’s knowledge, professionalism and personable nature stood out. We initially purchased two bed frames, but thanks to his guidance, we ended up adding a full living room set as well! He created a welcoming environment, made us feel valued and showed genuine care throughout the process. I purchased online & they cancelled my order without a valid reason. Not only did they cancel the order, THEY STILL HAVE NOT CREDITED MY CREDIT CARD! How is it that you CANCEL my order, i have no furniture and they keep the CREDIT HOSTAGE. It have been TWO WEEKS!!!! And when i call customer service, they keep telling me to WAIT! *0 stars* Avoid Ashley Furniture Katy: A Nightmare Customer Service Experience I've had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture's Katy store and customer service. After spending a significant amount on furniture and purchasing a warranty, I've encountered numerous issues with claim processing and customer support. Despite multiple attempts to resolve simple warranty claims and inquire about unused warranty credit, I've been met with rudeness, indifference, and a complete lack of accountability. The store manager's behavior was particularly unprofessional and disrespectful. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider shopping at Ashley Furniture, especially the Katy store. Their poor customer service and lack of responsiveness are unacceptable.

Updating my review - 2/25/25 I lowered my score because a couple of days after I made my purchase , I looked on the Ashley website and the cabinet we bought was over $300 cheaper. I asked the Ashley online customer service rep if they do price adjustments since I just made the purchase and they said they don’t match in-store prices. I emailed our rep and never got an answer. The cabinet we got is still great, but make sure you check the online prices before you go in-store. In this economy, that extra money could have gone to essentials like food or house payments. ————- We just made a purchase at Ashley Furniture today. We were checking out different furniture stores and we were close by the Katy location so we popped in. Truthfully, I always thought Ashley was insanely expensive and everything would be outside of my budget. I might have thought that because I always considered it to be “high end”. Most of my furniture has been from Rooms To Go / Wayfair / Amazon. But to my surprise, the prices were ok! And the quality was great which was important for us because we want pieces that will last us for a long time. My sales rep Felicia H. was so nice and pressure free. She immediately greeted us at the door and she let us roam around the show room. We were surprised how many pieces immediately caught our eye and we settled on one. The financing was quick too. We signed up for the Ashley card so we could get 0% interest financing and it was easy. Felicia told us our monthly payment options and we went with what was right for us. I highly recommend going to Ashley Furniture!

My story is very long with the purchase I made at Ashley at Restaurant Row location, Katy, Texas. Please if you decide to buy from them I beg you to reconsider and turn around and buy from somewhere else. I’m in financial trouble bc they over charged me and the salesman DANNY won’t respond to me and tells me I have customers to take care of so what am I? They have greedy salesman that overcharges for the comission . They say the furniture is in stock but it’s not really they are lying to make a sale. If I ever need to buy any furniture i will use the floor for eating, sleeping and watching tv then go to Ashley furniture store. The 866 number they give you is useless CS will only tell you I have forwarded you info. To the store or someone who deal with your particular issues and you don’t hear from anyone.

Went to several furniture stores to buy a couch. At first we were very interested with living space couch. We went several time to check out the couch that we were about to get, but me and wife decided to shop at other furniture store before wanting to make that purchase. We went to living space, bell furniture, American furniture warehouse, and lastly Ashley furniture all in the same day! We walked into Ashley furniture, and so far Ashley furniture got the best customer service! Rodney our sales rep greeted us right as we walked in! From there on it was game time! Rodney showed us multiple different couches. From price ranges from low to high, medium firm to soft. Me and wife found 2 couches so far as we walked in due to Rodney expertise! Once he got done showing us the couches we were best interested in we decided to pull the trigger on one of them! He was able to make us a good deal on it, and we went for it! Finally on Friday 09/27 my couch was delivered! Super impress with the couch! Even though the couch is still needed to be broken into it’s still comfortable! Love my purchase so far and the price he gave us definitely beat Living space as Living space price is what you see is what you pay! As for Ashley furniture customer service, and as price goes…hands down one of the best furniture store to go to! Ashley furniture is 10/10 recommended! If ya need any furniture ask for Rodney! He will give you the best price and best customer service, and will show you your best preference!

Looking for a small living room carpet, they didn't have.

We went in looking for a simple sectional to replace ours. After going to several stores in the area we finally found exactly what we were looking for at this Ashley store and got it at a great price. Sales reps are friendly but let you look around and don't bombard you while you are looking. Our experience was great.

Great Customer service

I honestly had the worst experience. Purchased a table on April 20th, or so, delivery date said July 9th. I get a call on July 9th and the table is now gonna arrive on August 2nd, the day comes and the same thing happens again this time is gonna arrive the 18th, finally comes and is BROKEN. I ask for a replacement and they say yes and that they will get in contact with me, a week goes by and i decide to call them and they tell me that the table is not gonna arrive until october... at that point i waited since april. I canceled and ask for my money back. Terrible experience, poor communication. On the good note the representative that took care of me at the end took care of me above and beyond.

Buying from Ashley has been a headache. People who buy online are treated even worst than people who buy in the store. If you buy online, and you have a problem, you have to deal with operators in the Fillipines, and they only take messages and write a report. They say you will be contacted in 3-5 days but that day never arrives. Ashley charged my credit card on August 28, I returned the item before arriving because they were sending 1 chair instead of 4, and I am still waiting for a refund. I will never buy from this store again!

I went into Ashley Furniture yesterday afternoon looking to purchase a bedroom suite and did just that! My experience was fantastic! Amir met my daughter and I while we were walking through and he was a breath of fresh air! He stood out from the typical salesman. Most are pushy and down your throat, but not Amir. Amir got down on my level and actually listened to what I wanted and was looking for and showed me what he thought would be best for me mattress wise according to my health and current issues I was having with my current mattress. Best experience and I HIGHLY recommend looking up Amir at the Katy, Texas location.

Spend 1200 on a baby’s crib it shows up damaged and screws not working. You would think for that much money that wouldn’t happen. It also showed up damaged. I’ve been going back and forth with their warranty people. It’s a nightmare getting new pieces and parts. This company is a joke do not waste your time buying from these clowns. I just wanted something my son would be safe sleeping in and he can’t even do that. Risking his life co sleeping with me because of this company. It also says solid wood in description, it the cheapest quality wood there is. GO ANYWHERE BUT TO ASHLEY IT IS A SCAM

I bought my furniture from them , the whole order was wrong . Everything was missing , they brought everything late ,and they bring everything separately peace by peace . I was told everything will be arrived in a specific date , everything toke over two months to ship . The men that put my furniture made a huge mess in my house . I don’t recommend them to anyone , they don’t return or refund their rules are horrible . If I could put 0 stars I would my experience was horrible the manager was very rude telling me “I’m not dealing with you get out , get out of my face “ very childish behavior, I had every right to be mad .

STAY AWAY!!! This is a licensed store and not a corporate store!!! Sales people will say and promise anything just to make a sale. We bought eight different items from this store. After selecting the furniture we wanted, we asked when the furniture would be delivered and they guaranteed a single delivery within a week. It was too good to be true and we should have known better. As soon as the money left our bank account we got a text message with a completely different delivery date. We tried calling and they said they were behind on deliveries and that there was nothing they could do about it. We said ok things happen whatever. A week later I get another text message saying that the one delivery we had scheduled was now two deliveries. I called and they said that the item they had sworn was in stock was now on back order. We said that's not what we were told, we asked all these questions before making the purchase and were assured otherwise. Whatever, we get half our furniture delivered nearly two and a half weeks after the purchase and are told that the rest won't be here until another two weeks. When I called to see what was going on they said that they had the entertainment center we ordered in stock but the couch that we wanted was on backorder. I spoke to the manager about this and he said he was not going to schedule a delivery just for the entertainment center and that I was going to have to wait for the couch to be in stock. ONCE AGAIN, I said fine things happen, however, I just started a new job and cant be taking days off my first week. AGAIN, he promised that it would be delivered on a Saturday. The week the couch was supposed to be delivered I get another text message saying that the couch can't be delivered on Saturday and that I need to reschedule, so I reschedule for the following week. The following week the couch still cant be delivered on a Saturday, so I have to reschedule AGAIN. Until I finally get a Saturday delivery date nearly three weeks later. The same day the couch and entertainment center was supposed to be delivered, I get a call saying the entertainment center we had ordered was now on back order and won't be delivered until September. Mind you it's been almost two months since we paid in full for this furniture and it's "guaranteed" delivery. As if this was not enough, once the couch gets here, the chase it came with is ON THE WRONG SIDE! TLDR: Save your self the trouble and go with anyone else!!! These people don't care about their business or their customers.

This includes the third party they use, Acima, as they were very misleading from the beginning; leading me to believe I was paying one price and added several hidden fees, harassed me when I wanted to unenroll in autopay, and upon making the initial payment I found out that there was another surcharge. This is unacceptable and highly immoral to take advantage of customers this way! Their agent Jillese is incredibly unprofessional and rude, and I received the same lack of consideration and understanding upon reaching out to Ashley and dealing with the sales representative Phil. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Charlie was very knowledgeable, personable and committed to helping us find exactly what we wanted. He offered specific 2nd options that would be similar to our style in case the first didnt work out(first choice was backordered). He was very detailed and transparent about the delivery processes, communication and costs and made sure to triple check our order for optimal service. Above and beyond service from him and his team without feeling the pressure to buy.

My husband and I visited the store in the Katy looking for a new sofa today and were very shocked at the sales people all sitting at a table in the showroom, laughing and carrying on like it was a party. Only one guy got up and greeted us, we told him what we were looking for and he pointed to the area where the sofas were, couldn’t even be bothered to show us himself. After about ten minutes of looking the same guy came back over to us to see if we had found anything. We asked him if they could remove our old sofa upon delivery of a new one and was told, “We don’t do that”. The salesman offered no other options so we walked out of the store. These salesman at this location could care less about a sale and treat customers like dirt. STAY AWAY!!!! Spend your money elsewhere!!!!!!!! Will never recommend or go back.

We are extremely happy with Ashley store, in particular with Marcos Escobar. He is the best salesman we have ever seen at any furniture store. He was extremely patient and isn't pushy at all unlike other salesmen. He gave us ample time, answered all our questions and made us comfortable while helping us decide on the bedroom furniture and mattress. Because of such an excellent customer service by Marcos, I would only go to Ashley store in future for my furniture needs.

Extremely rude and unbothered staff

I came to Ashley’s to shop for dining chairs. Phil was awesome, he made me comfortable with my shopping experience. He was professional and very knowledgeable with selection of dining chairs Ashley’s had to offer. He offered great details on product protection plans and delivery. He helped me find dining chairs for my table.

Our sales rep Phil did a great job showing us everything we needed. He gave us space and time to look and decide. He was honest and detailed in his product descriptions.

I drove a hour to the nearest showroom, which is in the Katy area. It was a bit frustrating that furniture isn’t housed at the showroom. You have to drive an additional hour down the Gulf Freeway to the warehouse for pickup; however, I was willing to do so. I purchased end tables on 7/2 and was told I could pick them up on 7/9. I am glad I called in advance because customer service informed me the order wouldn’t be ready until 7/19. On 7/19, an automated message said the order was ready, and I drove 1.5 hours to the warehouse. I was told there that the order was not ready, and there were none in stock. The warehouse employee suggested I call the original salesperson and request free delivery. I did so, she agreed and said that’s easy on her end. Today, 7/25, I’m receiving texts that my order is ready for pick up, that the salesperson didn’t change the original order, although I have copies, and now the order will be delivered 8/8/24, which is 37 days after purchase.

Marcos Escobar greeted us at the door, and we were highly impressed with his knowledge. We took the reigns of what we wanted while he just helped with any questions we had. He wasn't super imposing like other sales reps we have had before trying to make a sale. He was respectful, knowledgeable, and very helpful. It was nice to meet an employee who was proud of the company he works for quality as well as flexibility. I would recommend both this store and Marcos. Additionally, the combination of sales helped a lot for furnishing my house, at a reasonable price.

The Ashley Store had a wide selection of dining room tables and chairs for my selection. Victoria, the sales person who sold a dining room set to me, was very professional, knowledgeable, and cordial throughout my time with her. She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my selection. Whenever I have occasion to return to the store again, I will look forward to seeing her.

I order a dresser from this place and when we open the box we noticed it was broken they won’t exchange it or give me my money back

Had originally gave them 5 stars. I was trying to update my review and accidentally deleted it. I ordered 4 chairs and got 2. Jude was the actual sakes person who took the order. When I went in to correct it, they tried to insinuate I ordered only 2 for the price of the 4. They were a set of two for $140 and they charged me $ 240 for 2 then tried to get me to buy two for $80 each and when I said no to that, tried to sell me two for $50. I had to call customer service for assistance. This is the second time I have gone into this store and gotten bottom of the barrel customer service. Won’t give them a chance to do it again.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! Pretty close to the worse furniture experience I have encountered. Purchased a $2000 dollar Bedroom Dresser and Drawer set on May 27th, delivered on June 5th. Didn't think that we had to check the drawers of the units before the delivery personnel left, but definitely should have. Out of the 11 drawers available on the set, only 2 operate correctly. The rest either do not close properly or once closed you have to use force to open them. Reported this to their customer support and they said they would reach back out with more info. After not hearing from them for almost 3 days, called back, and the associate mentioned that the claim was not complete so I spent another 30 minutes on the phone with her to complete the claim. Their solution to having dead on arrival furniture was to have the drawer sliders sent out, then once we received the shipment then they would schedule a technician to come out to repair. To me this sounded so backwards, but agreed, we had no other choice they refused to swap the units out. So two weeks later we finally received the sliders, and we had to call back to schedule a technician to come out. Low and behold they said the next available would be another 10 days out, SMH. So we purchased on May 27th, delivered on June 5th and still do not have a usable product and technician will not be out until the 28th of June. So almost a month later and still waiting to be taken care of. Definately the last time I will purchase anything from there . BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I recently received my new sofa, the Carianna, on Friday the 14th, and while it is undeniably beautiful to look at, I’m disappointed by several issues. First, the leather material is problematic. My skin sticks to it every time I make contact, making it very uncomfortable to sit on. To mitigate this, I’ve had to cover the leather with blankets, which diminishes the aesthetic appeal. Interestingly, I didn’t experience this issue when I sat on the same model in the store multiple times. This discrepancy is quite puzzling and frustrating. My cat is also upset, as am I, because he cannot fit on the couch with me to snuggle. I didn’t have this issue with my previous couch. Overall, while the sofa is visually appealing, these practical issues overshadow its beauty. Sad part is, after spending all that money, I am stuck with my purchase. Should have went to Gallery where you can return the furniture if it don’t work once in your home. Also, I just realized that Ashley comments on every positive review, but I haven’t found a response to a single negative review.

I will give a 2nd star because while I ultimately stopped hearing from my sales person very abruptly, they were overall polite. Beyond that: I went in looking for a sectional on a Monday. Found one and was told it could be delivered by the end of the week. Thursday or Friday. My information was taken. I have an account already with Synchrony. However, there was a delay due to some miscommunication between Ashley and their own financing bank. This lead to a two day delay, which pushed my 3/4 day delivery to closer to 10 days, which was unacceptable. I feel misled by the original time window I was given, and had to personally cancel my order after my sales person stopped responding to my texts (a means of communication they began). I've purchased from Ashley once before and had no issue. After this experience, I am unsure I will try purchasing from them again.

I had a salesman who was really really good I didn’t have no problem with and his name is Amir but my experience with another salesman was very rude to my girlfriend. Things got really bad and the salesman and I almost got into a very heated altercation that almost lead to the situation to get physical. Instead of the manager that was on duty stopping the salesman from arising to the point to where it had gotten, she let the situation go on. I spent over 10k in the store today and I’m surely thinking of returning everything because of the bad service I received. Yeah I highly wouldn’t recommend here.

Store manager Dawyne DeCloutte is a racist person(towards Asians).He was very disrespectful towards us, he is super rude, arrogant person..he sat with us for hardly 5 minutes and during those 5 minutes he mentioned 3 times to us “ dont waste my time” which was very disrespectful towards any customer and he told us to “GET OUT OF STORE” when i asked him what about our 5 hours which we wasted in your store due to your salesman Charlie’s miscommunication and you guys lost full on spot Cash deal of $9500. We could have paid your said amount if you had shown basic humanity talking ettiquates, forget about customer ettiquates. You didnt bother to even discuss itemised pricing with us, you came and immediately asked us to give our number and we took 2-3 minutes to think about our number which annoyed him and he got super angry and disrespectful towards us. When we gave our number he immediately got up and ran away from us by saying “stop wasting my time”. Do not buy from here. If you are unsatisfied, oh well. Bar stools were delivered and they were too short and I told the delivery driver I didn’t want them and he made me keep them and said I must call corporate because he can’t return them. We went back and forth and he wouldn’t take them back. I then spoke with the manager and he says he can only take one of them because he doesn’t have a warehouse and can’t return them and he has already helped me before. I’m being forced to keep chairs that i spent a great deal of money on and tried to refuse them so they weren’t in my possession. The manager even mentioned to me once I complained, that policy says once in your possession all sales are final but the drivers wouldn’t take them back and forced them in my possession. This is so wrong. I’m still waiting on a rug I ordered 3 weeks ago that hasn’t delivered that I no longer want because I won’t spend another dime with this company. Will be cancelling that order.

OK so to start off with I am going to say I have purchased from 4 Ashley stores in various states as I have moved across the country and I can say without a doubt not all Ashley stores are created equal, my last purchase was with a store in a different town and they missed delivery date by 3 months, terrible communication, just felt bad about the purchase. Now to the Katy store: This is by far the best Ashley store I have EVER shopped with, Felicia worked really hard to get our business and helped get us a price we were happy with, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery had ZERO issues, which is impressive because it was less than a week between purchase and delivery. 11/10 will shop here again

Bunch of thieves they are, if you don’t like being ripped off don’t EVER, REPEAT EVER EVER EVER NO MATTER WHAT go there, we purchase some furniture and a carpet from them, the furniture was delivered within a week and the carpet, well we’re still waiting for it a month later, when we went to the physical store to speak to the manager in the lobby was a salesperson that ask us to wait for it because he was busy, the manager ended up being right next to us that whole time doing absolutely nothing and after 10 minutes he spoke to us like we weren’t there during that time, we ask about the carpet that we paid with OUR MONEYYYY, the manager get very defensive right away ( he knew who we were that second) because we’ve already spoke through the phone several times regarding the same issue and still no solution, he told us that they cannot refund the money because they could not find our carpet and then show us a picture of the carpet laying down in some apartment(we live in a house) and stated that I was delivered, explain how can you deliver the furniture to the right address and not the carpet, the most incompetent people in the whole state of Texas, end of story, enjoy the money guys, you needed more than I do, I’m sorry if I don’t wish you luck but honestly you don’t deserve it, worst customer service ever PD: I don’t put 0 stars because google won’t let me

Had an absolute fantastic experience I even tested the salesman because I knew what I wanted but I wanted to see other options. However, those salesman are extremely knowledgeable fantastic at their job very professional I Enjoyed my experience, and I will be coming back for more furniture. The expensive sofa I bought from Ashley came with several defects in workmanship. There was a seam in the middle of the ottoman cushion as if they initially cut the fabric too short and made it work. The seam was right where you sit and busted. The sectional couch does not align with the other sections to sit flush against each other. The sections were not built square so they don’t match up and leave a huge gap in our sectional. What you see on the showroom floor when you purchase is not what you get.

Purchased 2 bar stools, come to find out they dont fit with what i need them for (they're too tall) and when i call to see if i can get a refund im thrown through hoops by my showroom host cause i was never informed prior to purchasing or even when i called later for a refund that they dont offer refunds. *Alert: long post, please read because it is worth it* Be aware and stay away !! Where to begin ?! Placed an order in store and the Journey begins with incorrect communication, I was told in the store that price include delivery and installation, on the day of delivery I got to know orders are delivered by third party delivery and they do not have to do anything with the installation !! Upon unwrapping the couch, I got to know the product is damaged, Call 1 : I called to report an issue with delivery within 72 hours of delivery as mentioned in the invoice, customer care person told me that an order for material has been placed to repair the damage, and advised to reach out again once I receive the material. 3 weeks go by and I do not hear back so Call 2 : Customer care person was not able to find the previous work order initially after few mins provided tracking number and told me it was delivered 2 weeks ago without any communication ! Call 3 : Called customer care again to schedule a technician's visit to repair, the person on the phone told me he is processing the work order for technician visit and will get confirmation soon and hung up. Call 4 : a week go by and I do not hear anything back regarding technician visit so I called again, and a person on the phone told me that they are not seeing any work order for technician !!! and asked me to send all the pictures and product details again in the email, did that and he was able to create the work order and told me I will receive a text message/call within 72 hours to schedule date and time for technician's visit. Call 5 : 4 days go by and I do not hear anything back, so I called again, the person on the phone mentioned that oh I see your visit is scheduled for next Saturday on XX/XX and advised I will receive a message before 24 hours to confirm. at this point since it has been this long I cancelled my weekend plan as it has been dragging and I just want to get it repaired and enjoy the product that I have paid in full. Call 6 : Saturday morning I woke up to the message that technician visit has been cancelled and someone will reach out within 24 hours to rescheduled that has not happened yet ! so at this point I have spent more than 10 hours and 6 phone calls to customer service and still have the damaged product after 2 months !!

My recent experience with Ashley Furniture at the Restaurant Row location in Houston/Katy has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. As my family and I embarked on the journey of furnishing our new home, we had high hopes for finding quality furniture and a positive customer experience. However, our visit to Ashley Furniture shattered those expectations entirely. Upon entering the store, we were immediately drawn to a beautiful sofa that seemed perfect for our living room space. Excitedly, we explored the various payment options presented to us: monthly financing or a cash payment with a generous discount. Opting for the latter, we made our purchase, including a 5-year warranty for damages and white glove delivery. Sadly, the troubles began as soon as the delivery team arrived at our home. Far from the promised "white glove" service, the delivery was marked by disrespect and carelessness. The team traipsed through our home with dirty shoes, blasted loud music, and showed a complete disregard for our property, causing damage to our door frames in their rush to complete the delivery in one trip. To make matters worse, upon unpacking the furniture, we discovered that our sofa was riddled with flaws. The wood frame was broken, resulting in visible holes and scratches on the fabric. The cushion covers and pillows were stained and dusty, indicating poor storage conditions prior to delivery. This was not the quality we expected from a reputable furniture retailer like Ashley Furniture. Seeking a resolution, we contacted our sales representative, Alex Castillo, to be met with a shocking response: "ALL SALES ARE FINAL." It was disheartening to learn that this crucial information was buried in the fine print of our receipt, conveniently disclosed only after the purchase was made. The lack of transparency in Ashley Furniture's business practices is concerning and undermines the trust of customers in our community. Despite our efforts to find a solution, the customer support team remained adamant about their no-return policy, leaving us stuck with a broken sofa that didn't even fit our living room space. Even when presented with the opportunity to exchange for a larger sofa at a higher price, we encountered resistance and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. The final blow came during a conversation with a store manager, who callously remarked, "This is a million-dollar company, if you don't buy again, someone else will." Such dismissive attitudes towards customer concerns are unacceptable and reflect a lack of respect for the community Ashley Furniture serves. In the aftermath of this ordeal, I cannot recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone with good conscience. While their furniture may appear beautiful, the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and refusal to address legitimate concerns have deeply disillusioned me. I sincerely hope that Ashley Furniture will reconsider its policies and prioritize honesty, respect, and customer satisfaction. Our community deserves better.

I know I am hard to please sometimes because of so many options and price points but Carve was patient and made my family and I feel like we were the only thing that mattered. He applied no pressure, just professionalism and patience. He showed us the ultimate buying experience. We paid cash for a whole living room set just to be rescheduled for delivery twice and then ended up only getting a love seat delivered that was damaged. We were charged full price for some tables that were on the floor as clearance as is items. Quality is very poor and is already peeling. Ashley furniture is a joke and a scam I will never recommend or bring my business to this sorry excuse of a furniture store again. We canceled our order and still ended up paying way above list price for the trash tables we were forced to keep because of their manipulation. Typical sales tactics and dishonesty. We removed our living room set the night before scheduled delivery and threw it away just to be left without furniture because of a failed delivery and damaged love seat. We were told our items wouldn’t be back in stock for over a week. Canceled our order and went to rooms to go and had our furniture in 2 days. Don’t not waste your time and money!!!!

Purchase Date:12/31/23 I have ordered the bedroom furniture for my guest room. I have seen this online, but the furniture looked unclear, so we visited the Ashley Store at 19660 Restaurant Row, Houston, TX. They didn't have it on display, but a standing bookcase headboard they showed and a similar bed with a slat. I picked up the mattress and confirmed with salesperson Mr. S that I would have a SLAT. He confirmed it would come with the SLAT. They run my Credit report. I did the financing. They Scheduled the Delivery for 13 Jan 2024, which was Saturday; I threw my old furniture to clear the space as advised in the delivery message. On Saturday, the 13th, they came with all the items except the rails, with three black supports, not the SLAT. I talked to Support and told them the item was missing. They told me that SLAT needed to order separately and advised me to speak to the salesperson. On the other hand, the person who came for installation told me these beds don't come with SLAT. I went to the store, and they had already added the SLAT to the Order without cost with the Help of the Store Manager, Mr. M. I told him we were too much of a problem as now my mom only needed to sleep on the mattress, and even at that time, Cold Breeze was about to come. I told the salesperson about the person coming for installation, and he said my Manager added the SLAT; those people don't have more insight into the inventory. They scheduled it for 23 on Tuesday, even though I told him we needed it ASAP. When they sent the furniture on 23 Jan, they sent the SLAT, but Rails is not compatible with fixing the SLAT on it. I am frustrated and pissed by this behavior; I Asked sale-Person to share Manager's Number, but Manager never picks the phone. Instead, he called my wife and told her we were canceling as your husband needed some compensation. After some time, the Manager cleared up that this bed didn't come with the SLAT ( he should not have made a false statement without confirming). He was also rude to my wife. Mr. S blamed the Manager on the Call, and then I went to the store again. The Manager blamed Mr. S. The Attitude of the Store manager was worse; he should have been sorry and guilty for wasting more than 20 days on a mistake made at their store. Instead, he was insulting me. If you want to select a new one, then talk. I am not getting this for free; I am paying for this, and he cannot cancel my Order like this. I have spent many hours selecting this and waiting for it to come and changing my room's color to match the furniture. I bought this in New Year when many deals were going on. I could select from many other stores if they didn't lie. Now, canceling will be a financial loss for me. I need people to know this because it could happen to you, not because of his mistake they made but because of his Attitude towards the customer. I went to Ashely. Store, this behavior shows how Ashely cares for their customer. I called the main office. Initially, they told me we would talk to the store about it. Now they are saying we cannot do it as the Order has been canceled. They don't even have the email where you can send the written complaint. The only reason you go to the store is if something goes wrong, they are there to help, but if this is the case it is better to buy online. I have intentionally hidden the person's name; I only want to create a caution for the customer where they are going.

Though my service in store was satisfactory, I was disappointed to learn the "discount" I was given was merely the same pricing listed online! I was on an Ashley Furniture site, not a 3rd party. How is that acceptable? I told the sales associate I was paying cash and he upped my "discount" from 20% to 25%, conveniently still exactly what the online price was.

Recently bought a beautiful sectional as always. Customer service was very helpful. Our sales representative Charlie went above and beyond to get us the best deal and a quick delivery date.

On November 11th, 2023, I placed an order with Ashley and am still waiting to receive it. Earlier today, I spoke with a representative from Ashley to inquire about the status of my order, but I was met with rudeness from the store manager. The way he talked to me was highly disappointing, and it was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. After waiting for three weeks, he told me to cancel the order. Additionally, they charged me a 10% delivery fee on my order, even though many people receive free delivery from Ashley. He told me that the policy is that orders above $2500 get free delivery, but I paid $2280 for my order, while my friend paid $1200 and received free delivery from Ashley. I tried to register a complaint against the agent, but after explaining the whole story to two people, they disconnected the line. I felt like Ashley was content with maintaining their rude behavior despite being considered one of America's best furniture shops.

Do not consider buying ashley furniture. Within a few months our expensive sectional started to break down; sinking down in corners, creasing cushions and pillows and arms dented in. We bought the 549.99 warranty and were told we could return it if we bought the warranty. They don't take our calls, running us around from 1 dept.to another. We have done it all to get in touch with someone to no avail. Just do yourself a favor and research reviews. You've been warned!

DON'T BUY HERE! We bought a sofa set and they told us we can also get a kind of "insurance" and if we never claimed or use that, they will give us back $500.00. We never claimed or use that insurance during 5 years, now they told us they will not return that money, but "we can buy something that values $400 (not the $500 they promised) but they will not return us that money.

Horrible experience to get a bed frame delivered. I was under the impression that ordering this bed frame would be delivered to my front door & it was not. FedEx tried delivering to the wrong location the day it was supposed to be delivered then when it actually came to my apartment they left it in the mailroom & marked it for the wrong apartment unit so I was never notified it was delivered. Neither I or the leasing office could find the bed & the bed is entirely too big for a single woman to carry it to the 3rd floor. I made it very clear on my order what my shipping address was. FedEx & Ashley home store customer service was no help at all & they claimed Fedex would come back to check for the package so I waited for almost an hour & they never came back to my apartment complex. First time ordering from here & it will be my last.

Great experience working with Phil. He was transparent on pricing with no hidden fees, and he gave us space to look around on our own. Even when we told him we were not necessarily purchasing, he was still respectful and made sure we were taken care of. We did end up purchasing with him so I’m glad it worked out for both parties. We just bought a dinner table here and we had a great purchasing experience using Vanessa. She wasn’t pushy as other sales people tend to be and was very friendly. The store had a really nice vibe, as well. I’m amending my review, all above is true, but 3 chairs arrived damaged and it’s been quite annoying going through the process to get them repaired.

The couches were installed and one them wasn’t fully setup despite that service being paid for. There was wiring left behind the couch that wasn’t connected to the couch or wall and so far the recommendation has been that I finish the setup. Sure thing, as soon as I’m refunded for the service I paid for.

The costumer service was awesome at the store but some kind of way the when the delivery people came out to set thing's up the salesman forgot to put box springs on the order so now I'm here with a bedroom set and can't even sleep on it. Wooooooooooow now I have to find box springs because of a mistake not of my own.

I’d give this place a negative five stars if I could. Worst high pressure sales experience ever. Avoid Victoria! Husband went to the bathroom , while we were still shopping, and she attempted to ring up the purchase for the last item, we looked at, on credit on his Ashley’s card, when neither my spouse nor me, had even said we wanted the items, yet, as we were still shopping! She continued to pressure me into a delivery date for the items, when again, we hadn’t agreed on the sale! And get this, my husband later, was sent an invoice saying that the items were on layaway. Now, I storm off in a huff, and you think we want the items rang up for us, still? Unbelievable!

Poor quality furniture. Spent more than 3k to get a sectional couch from Ashley Furniture after all the promotions still. The couch begins to slump within the first month of using and the material is too tough and rough not as the one in display I tried in store. I’ve gotten a backache after lying on the sofa. Their product is a scam. Worst experience with Ashley and will not come back!!

I bought a 3000$ sectional and it was soft at the store. I believe i got scammed since they deliver rock hard cheaper quality product. Not sure if it was this specific location or all Ashley furniture operates like this.

Stay Away! Save yourself your money and headache. Purchase a sofa and 2 beds in July. My delivery was in September due to me moving. The sofa was on backorder and not available, so I cancel that order. My 2 beds were delivered on Friday and received the wrong bed. Almost 1 week later and nothing has been resolved. Went to the store to speak to manager and is not there. No one cares all they want is your money. Store is closing and Ashley's getting sued. Worst experienced and customer service!

We bought a very nice couch just over a year ago. During our purchase, they gave us an offer to cover the couch under a warranty in case of any damages. I advised the salesman that we are thinking about getting some dogs in the future, and if the warranty would cover any damages done by the dogs. The salesman stated that if the dogs would damage the couch that the warranty would cover it. A year down the line we’ve got three new lovely puppies, and one of them ended up chewing up a corner of our couch. We were very upset, but we’re glad that we got the warranty. We gave their warranty a call and put in a claim and they stated they will not cover any of the damages. if you have any questions about the warranty, you will have to do your own research because clearly the salesman have no idea what they’re talking about and what they actually cover. I would recommend not purchasing their warranty because I have you’ll have to deal with any damages yourself anyway.

One star because store under construction but sill looked clean. Salesperson Dan was helpful initially with mattress and bed frame during sale however turned mean bulldog and shouting when my 83 yr. old mother decided to cancel the order within the appropriate timeframe due to the cost. threatening and screaming at her that she had to pay $900 restocking fee, delivery fee and would still be charged the $8500.00. All un-truths. We had to call corporate and complain and synchrony bank to rectify the problem with the salesperson Dan. Not once did he try to ask why she wanted to cancel or listen to what she was trying to tell him nor did he ask then if he could do anything to help or offer a different less costly product. Shame on him and shame on this stores tactics ! This store you cannot reach a live person by the telephone number listed. This store does not fall under the umbrella of Ashley Corporation, it is a third party bought franchise. Forget about trying to reach a manager because they wont even give you their names, stating that is personal information. I have them if you need them lol Do your homework , there is a huge sale for Labor day that offers many discounts and this store is not the only game in town. At the very least go down the street and check Mattress Firm if your in the market for a bed. What a shame in the past I have spent thousands upon thousands at this store and referred it since 2013 but never again. I am 65 years old and have always worked customer service/sales , never in my life have I ever encountered such behavior from a salesperson especially to a senior citizen. You are entitled to fair business practice no matter your age, sex, color, and/or religion.

If I could give zero stars I would. We bought a sofa couch from them. We were wanting to replace the mattress to one that would be better for guest. The manager of the store insisted that an 8inch would fit. We purchased and it did not fit. When I fought for a return we were denied. Now, we are stuck with a mattress that we don't need due to a manager just trying to make a sale. I would NOT recommend this store to anyone!

I do not even want to give one star. Our experience has been absolutely terrible. We purchased a very expensive couch on Memorial day and we were promised by our Sales Representative, Toby, delivery in three weeks. "Every other store will be much longer, I will take care of you." We never heard from him again stating our order had been delayed. The only reason we even knew it was is because I had to call the corporate phone number. When I did this, I got disconnected three or four times and every person had different information. I received at least two phone calls saying my items had arrived and I could schedule delivery...however never heard back and I had to once again call corporate and "the order will arrive in the next two weeks" was all I got. I reached out once again to Toby for help and a text reply is all I got...not even a phone call...with different information than before. He did not seem to help at all or care to make our experience better. It very much seemed like once we placed our order he was done with us and we were an inconvenience. We have been without a couch now for 6 weeks. Their customer service is absolutely terrible and I would not believe anything they say. Their sales people seem to care while at the store..just to get a penny out of you and then you never hear from them again. I will tell everyone I know to not come here.

The customer service was FANTASTIC! I had originally purchased my mattress at another furniture store a couple of days ago, so I had came to Ashley to browse their furniture for it. Once Vanessa, our sales rep, found out she was able to help me not only get the bed frame I wanted, but also a dresser AND the exact same mattress for a better deal!!!! I of course cancelled my original mattress purchase as well! Lesson learned! I should’ve gone to Ashley’s from the beginning! Lol

They allowed us to shop without too much pressure. Travis was helpful and allowed us to shop on our own time. Glad they worked with us as our move in date was a few months away. Looking forward to this amazing couch!

Disrespectful and unprofessional people. Not recommend to deal with.

I have a bad experience to dealing with this store disrespectful people and unprofessional staff. One month before I go to that store and choose to purchase some furniture than sales persons behavior very disrespectful and unprofessional after purchasing the furniture delivered to my home almost one month later and the furniture that I received is different that I purchased. So I go to the store and cancelled that order then again the behavior of the staff is disrespectful and totally unprofessionals.

I wish I can even rate "zero". This is the worst store ever. Bought furniture cash with some of the furniture as clearance sale. Paid for delivery and never got one of the product. The sales manager is very rude. Will never go to this store again

I went there today, this store does not deserve to be in Katy. The worst experience in every way in my 25 years of living in Katy. I am shopping for outdoor furniture, and checked others stores, in the area, being Saturday and July 4th season. The sales guy who tagged, was very unprofessional in the first few words on the product enquiry! I asked for delivery, and i dud nit get a straight answer.. I asked if i were to see another person to know about delivery, and the sales was literally waving hands and shouted at me “ go see other sales guy” i was shocked… his demeanor was almost combative.. asked him to see the Manager, which was my right in that situation… still giving the benefit of doubt to the business, despite one bad apple. When I approached who they said the manager did not inquire the issue and try to make any effort to sell, instead he “ganged up” with previous two guys…. I felt very insucure and intimidated… i left the place immediately, faster than the time to enter. Also, i checked the prices inline before visiting the Ashley Store in Katy. The prices sales guy gave was about $300 more than online… the sales guy was totally discouraging in buying online. Which I understand due to sales commissions. But there he was very untruthful on prices and very aggressive. Sales staff are very unprofessional, intimidating and gets down street behavior quickly… Never shop here.

Very disappointed with the process of our furniture!! Since the system has been down for about 2 weeks or more, getting our furniture has been a pain in the ***. We got a great deal with our stuff which we are happy with but we just moved into our home and still don't have our furniture and the only person trying to help us is Marcos which I know he can only do so much. This whole process has been horrible and I will not be going back to Ashley's. Our stuff was going to be ready for pick up today, for the second time and we rented a uhal $100 and just our luck they were closed since the morning. Nobody got in contact with us!! We waisted our time and money!!! We don't live close to the warehouse and my husband works everyday and keeps getting out early to pick up the stuff for nothing!! So upset!

Came here in may to buy a dresser and the guy who help us was very nice and professional and was able to help us order the dresser i wanted. Unfortunately its been a month now a still haven’t received the dresser on the date i was supposed to be delivered. I’ve been calling to see whats going on but no one answers the phone or “ system been having issues “ so the system been having issues for a month ?? At this point they need to get it together why get furniture here when they cant even deliver on time or gives false information to customers about delivery date.

Sales staff (Korey) was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. However, we went to Ashley Furniture in Katy, Texas to buy furniture for a rental property in Florida. It was important to be able to select furniture locally and ship remotely. This was not possible due to issues between corporate and franchise store inventories. So I had to have the table I bought shipped to my home and I will be responsible for getting the table to my rental property in Florida. This will limit my use of Ashley in the future for furniture replacement at my rental property.

Gave me the wrong pillow when they delivered my furniture and never followed back up with me to correct it after putting in a ticket to fix it.

The lady manager at restaurant row location was extremely rude. She kept asking questions that had nothing to do with furniture and was charging $300 for delivery within Houston. I have shopped with Ashley before and have had a good experience but never buying from them again.

Do not get the warranty on your items because if you don't report the damage or stain within 30 days they will not repair . They will not repair anything unless you have proof that you had damage fixed out of your pocket moving forward. 600 warranty down the drain.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. On 4/15/2023, my wife & I ordered a table with 6 chairs and ottoman. We decided to pick-up these items at the distribution center due to Ashley's wanting over $250 for home delivery. We were advised that our furniture would be available for pickup on 4/19/2023 at a distribution center that was located approximately 45min away. I arrived at the distribution center on the specified date and was told "first-come, first-serve" and our some of our items were given to someone else who ordered the same chairs. I was told to return the following day as a new shipment was coming in. I proceeded to drive 1.5h home due to traffic.. I returned to the distribution center the following day and was told my shipment was not expected to arrive until next week.. I was told to contact a representative via a phone number provided and to seek a resolution. The phone representative stated, I could either cancel the items, receive store credit, or wait for my items to arrive at distribution center. I decided to talk to a customer service representative at my local Ashley store whom said she will set me up with free delivery as it was unnecessary for me to drive to the distribution center twice and receive nothing. I was also told to not accept delivery unless all items were delivered at the same time. Several days later, I was told my FULL order was ready for delivery and a delivery date was scheduled. Upon arrival, they only brought the 6 chairs I ordered and not the table or ottoman. I told the delivery guy to return the chairs as this was not the full delivery, he refused. The chairs continue to sit on my front patio until this entire issue is resolved. Today, I received a message from Ashley that I need to pick up my table and ottoman at the distribution site. This whole process has been a headache and I refuse to purchase anything else from Ashley. If they charge me, I will absolutely dispute the charge. They can come and pick up their chairs too. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Horrible customer service. I called regarding damaged furniture and I was hung up on twice and put on hold for over 45 minutes and then hung up on again. I have never experienced this kind of rudeness from any store ever. Don't waste your time or money here.

In the modern world where next day delivery is a popular thing, the antiquated 3-12 week delivery schedules for Ashley Furniture is disappointing. My sales person was very nice however.

One of the worst experience and worst store in Houston. Me and my husband went to the store today with such a happy mood to buy sectional for our new house but came back with such a disappointment and bad experience. What you can expect from the Salesperson, when the STORE MANAGER Himself (we think His name was Jason) is so disrespectful and rude. Upon asking him to speak politely, he turned his back and walked away. No etiquettes how to speak, not sure who made him the manager. Guys there are many furniture stores in Houston….don’t go in this store to feel insulted. We will see if there is official channel to send the feedback.

The protection for my electric couch (which is now broken, because quality isn't as good as they claim) they sold me for $300 is complete BS. They "transfer" it to a scam shell company that doesn't actually have an office and does not honor any claims at all - ever. It exists via web portal that is a black hole (you can submit claims all you want but no one will ever look at them) and the phones are manned by extremely rude contractor whose only job is to wear you out and give you the run around until you give up. They do not ever do anything to actually provide a service. It's a straight up scam and Ashley knows this, yet continues to scam its customers for the kickbacks from this fraudulent scheme. They should be sued. Never buy anything from them.

Never buy anything with Charlie Smith he’s a lier, here I am with my fiancée at the outlet 50 minutes away from our home with our two wranglers under the rain because we were told that we can fit everything on the two Jeeps, when the workers at the outlet were trying to help me and called him his answer was that he said it because we didn’t want to pay for the delivery but the real reason was that he said it because he wanted to earn his commission, I also called the store to talk with the manager and they kept me on hold, very disappointed for the service we received

At the time of this review, I am actually waiting for the store to open at 10am in order to get a refund. My back order and inconsistenties about the delivery mirrors the EXACT review from Mr Drake listed on this site. I've wasted 2 days from work waiting for my sofa. If there was a way to rate zero stars I certainly would.

Furniture is nice, but customer service is horrible. You can never get in touch with someone who knows what is going on when you need updates on your order for delivery, and I even had a customer service member hang up on me! I finally got in touch with a manager, who at least got our delivery set up, but this whole process was an ordeal because of "Jenny" the robot who handles everything with glitches in her algorithm. Also, our salesman did not deliver on what he promised. It took 4 months to get our furniture when we were told 4-6 weeks, and he said the box spring for our bed would be included and it was not, which left us scrambling to find box springs the day our furniture was finally delivered (and yes we bought them from another store where we picked up same day!). The delivery guys, who do not work for Ashley, were great, but I don't plan on buying furniture from Ashley again after this experience.

All the folks at this store are top shelf! We had a wonderful experience! Not only was Zack kind and thoughtful, he went above and beyond! We purchased a clearance item which they loaded for us in our small car and honestly treated us as if we were very important VIP’s! If you need furnishings or decor you’ve got to go check what they can do.

Came in with my parents to by a sofa. Salesperson immediately latched onto my stepdad and ignored me even though I was the one buying. Salesperson was unprofessional, unpleasant, and uninformed. Told us the sofa we’re looking for us not a sleeper even though the it’s literally called a sleeper sofa. Left immediately.

Very nice selection and really good prices. We had gone to a few stores and Ashley had the best deals. Only a little thrown off by their warranty being so expensive and they told us if you don’t use it it comes back to you. But it comes back as store credit. I can’t imagine what you’ll be able to buy in 5 years with $360. Other than that, salespeople are a bit too aggressive and it’s hard to even check out the couches without being constantly questioned. But I understand it’s their job. Nice store over all!

**DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY FURNITURE ** I am writing to express my disappointment with the poor communication I received regarding my delivery items that I purchased from your Katy location November 17,2022 from sales associate Amaron Mathis. I was pleased with the great customer service I received after not shopping with Ashley for years due to poor customer service I received at your ers again had no idea of what was going on with the nightstand. I called what was described to me as the corporate office. One of the associates, Hugo, said that the item was damaged. Then he said it was on backorder. I asked to speak to a supervisor who could give me a straight answer after 20 minutes, I was transferred to Carla. Carla, who was supposed to be a supervisor in customer service said the item was on backorder, then she said the item was forgotten at the warehouse. After realizing Carla had no idea. I decided to call the store where I ordered my items to speak to the store manager. When I called I was told he was busy with a customer so I gave the young lady my name and contact information that was at 1 o’clock December 28 I still have not spoken to the store manager Dwayne as of right now January 3. I understand that stock shortages and delays can happen, but what was most frustrating was the lack of communication from your company about the status of my items as a customer I had to repeatedly reach out to find out what was going on with my items and as I stated earlier I asked to speak to a store manager who has not even felt it worthy to return my phone call. Needless to say, I am not motivated to shop with Ashley Furniture ever again. It's extremely unfortunate that Amaron had such an unprofessional delivery process as a follow up to his great customer service. Went in looking for a couch the first salesman we dealt with was awesome super relatable and knowledgeable, found one we loved but wanted to check around which was a waste of time. Ended up coming back and got a different salesman (our first one left already unfortunately 😔) that was just as great! Can't wait for our couch to be delivered, will update then.

She was very friendly, down to earth and patient with is during our shopping visit. Do not shop at Katy store. POOR Management, plus sales ppl laying to get the sale done. Do not trust them. Worst experience ever. We bought a dining room. Sales person took the social to open us a credit and instead of opening one credit she opened us 3 credit cards at the same time without authorization, which dropped our credit 38 points. I went to the store to complain after I received the 3 credit cards and all what the manger said we are sorry, she should not do that, but it happened and we can not do anything now. Above all of that I received the table after 5 months with broken chairs and poor quality and although they hurt us all what they offered is sending a technician to fix it. UPDATE: I have contacted the number and email below and asked for the contact of anyone above the store manager of KATY store since I called the store and the manger refused to give me his supervisor contact, but all what they did they said sorry all what we can do is sending a ticket to the store which will not do anything since the store manger is covering the mistake done by his sales person

Yay! I've been searching all over town, and I picked up some great finds today. That said, it's been a long time since I've received the kind of customer-centric attention and service that ("Amir S." obo Ashley) delivered today. The plus was the collaborative vibe I got from the rest of the sales team... No pressure, great experience!

First time buying from Ashley and will be last due to really bad experience. Furniture was supposed to be delivered in two parts due to availability which is understandable. First delivery happened within a week or so, second was supposed to arrived 2 months later. I received a text that order was ready to be pick up, I called and they said I had to pay to have it delivered, I decided to pick it up, I arrived at warehouse and people have some kind of miscommunication between them and put a hold on my credit and ask me to drive to other side of city to have store remove hold so I can drive back and pick up items that were supposed to be delivered in first place. I went and canceled rest of order…I hope I just don’t get billed for furniture I didn’t received.

Long wait times for items to come in, and my delivery was rescheduled 2x on top of that

It took us 7 months to get the items but we were offered a discount so no complains. The overall delivery experience, with live delivery time updates is great. I would rate this as the best part of the overall purchase experience. A bit of more care of the delivery company would be appreciated given 2 chairs show marks of dirt. I would rate this is an ok service. The long lead time to get the items lead me to the 2 stars rating. If you are ok with the wait time (by the way the sale person told us 8 to 12 weeks so be careful there) Ashley can be a good furniture store. Had a very bad experience with the warranty on the items so be careful there as well, not recommended.

Mitchell was great , greeted us at the front door . Was always available even when we were still looking . He helped us pick our furniture that would fit with our living room style. Overall great experience and super fast , detail and explained everything well . Definitely recommend and coming back .

Our sales associate, Bela Latif was very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt that she listened to our desires and she was able to close the deal. I can't wait to see this furniture in our family room!

I had to change my review from 5 to 2. Typical issue - you have best sales experience and the worst customer service experience. There was one part which was incorrectly delivered and i have made multiple phone calls and even visited the store for the correction, but still its not confirmed. These are my observations - 1. Worst IVR - keep you on hold forever and then abruptly hang up 2. There sales team and customer service team are not in sync - creating problems fr customer 3. No follow up or communication from ashley - its the customer who has to do d hard work once sales is done 4. No regard for the customers time and patience I am never ever going to visit this store Keeping my original review - just to showcase how great sales experience can be We had an amazing experience at this store of Ashley Furnitures. Such a beautiful collection and well organised. Great deals to go for! Special shout out to Ms. Bela, who was so knowledgeable and understanding. She gave us enough room to look out and followed up in between. She played a major role for us to close the sale. Cheers 👏👏

Worst experience ever. They brought ms a total wrong order. Every single item of my order were wrong. The sales person who putted my order in the system putted everything by mistake!!!! Terrible! Never will go back to Ashley again! After waiting almost for 2 months and having a delay once I finally came to a whole order cancelation. Ridiculous store!!!!

Agent told me that i would receive my items about 2 to 3 weeks .. Last time I called , delivery was scheduled for 9/30/22 . I has been over 12 weeks today and still no updates. I would ve never made the purchase if i knew that. Unacceptable!! I ll post the name of the seller soon . She lied to me and my wife . We didn’t even finance , we paid over $3500 cash . ZEROOOOOOO STARS. TRASH SERVICE!!! AVOID AT ALL COST. Paid cash for my table which was supposed to be picked up by me. Received a call from a young woman and text that my item is ready for pick up, drove 1 hr to the warehouse and guess what? The item wasn't there. Warehouse refers me to customer service, customer service refers me to the store, the one time the store answered the phone I was shuffled back to the warehouse, warehouse again refer me to the store, which is no longer answering the phone. I'm going back to get my money from this low class place and they gonna refund me my hard earned cash, plain and simple. I must mention that a supervisor from the warehouse tried to help, but was unsuccessful. ASHLEY CUSTOMER SERVICE IS COMPLETE AND UTTER TRASH. I'm steaming more than a locomotive right now!!

Pricing is good and the selection of furniture is nice for the price point, but don't believe delivery dates when you buy. Add 2 to 4 weeks to whatever date they tell you. Additionally, if you purchase multiple items, like a table and chairs + an entertainment center, they will ship everything together. We were supposed to receive a table and chairs in about 7 days and then our entertainment center in 3 to 4 weeks, but because we had two separate items/orders, they pushed our table and chairs back to be shipped with the entertainment center. In hindsight, this allows them to only have to make one delivery for all items ordered. That's fine if you are made aware, but this is not what we were told and we would have gone somewhere else if we knew this would be the case.

They advertise so much, but when you go there, everything you pick, you have to order, and then wait 2- 3 months to get it. And then on top of that they charge for delivery and assembly.

This store will lie to you to make the sale. The employees work on commission. If you are told anything that matters, please get it in writing. Luckily I only bought one chair. I feel sorry for a family that buys a whole house of furniture and is left with the fighting to ensue with Ashley to make it right. And just know, they will not make it easy and will probably not make it right in the end.

I have decided to edit my review from 5 stars to one star. Ashley furniture in Katy Texas have employees in this particular store that don't know how to do their jobs. the sales person messed up our order but we were never contacted by the store when we were contacted by the store it was to set up a delivery date the delivery date came in went. Long story short they screwed up the order so bad that we ended up canceling the order they did nothing but lied to us I was told that we would get a refund in 3 to 5 business days however another lie so I do not recommend the store in Katy I do not like the way they handle things All they wanna do is lie and tell you one thing and do something else therefore if I could I would give them zero star ratings Very displeased customer will never go to that store again.

It was on order for longer than I was told but the furniture is beautiful. The set up was easy and very fast.

How do I give negative stars? Horrible customer service! Impossible to reach a supervisor to assist and no one calls back! Buyer beware!

Salespeople will NOT leave you alone in this place. We ended up not seeing the pieces we would have bought because of constantly trying to avoid the aggressive salesperson. No means no.

Don't shop in this store you deserve more. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We have been Ashley customers around 10 years. We always shopped our furniture from Ashley but this store in Katy was horrible. Around 4 months ago we ordered 3 items there, and because of only these three items we went to the store 6 times! We had a lot of issues,we got a bill for  items that we never got delivered! We went to the store several times, we were told the person who did your purchase is no longer with us and after one hour we were told the item is not available so we took it from store directly. We waited to have delivered 2 more items but on the delivery day we just received one item, and we received again a bill for two items. Again we went there, 2 staff came to us and told us they are managers,after one hour they told us they can not find third items in our account and ask us to come back home and bring the invoice, we did it. Another person who introduced himself manager too ( his name was started with D his badge was not completely clear), spent 20 minutes and could not find it, then he started to talk very rude to us. He asked us to show up bank account and we did, he told us it's not there! We told him we are tired of Ashley. He was talking fast and fast and kept telling us don't talk, I am not listening, I am a professional (he was not at all!). Then he told us the Ashley will be happy if you never come back and don't shop here anymore! I told him I will write a review about him, he answered I don't care and my managers don't care as well! Finally he could find it ,that item was not available for delivery. He didn't applogize for their mistake and his rude behavior. But he gave us a very good advice, never come back to the Ashley. Now we are just waiting for our last delivery from Ashley, then we will start to see our other items in Rooms to Go.

The warranty is a COMPLETE SCAM. It does not cover the vast majority of issues that may happen to your furniture, including manufacturing issues. If you're worried about an asteroid tearing through your roof and ripping through your couch, then check the fine print first for asteroids to see if it's covered. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY. This kind of shady business dealing is such a turn off, it makes me wonder what other corners they're cutting. Reference: Bought a sectional sofa and the warranty. The frame came apart under normal wear circumstances. Got a nasty email from the warranty department that it isn't covered but they're happy to charge me to fix it.

This review is based on my experience with the online Ashley store and not with this store in particular. Beware of the estimated delivery times they give you, they are incorrect. My estimated delivery was 5-6 weeks and we are on week 8 with no concrete idea as to when my order will be delivered. They keep pushing the date back, I had to cancel the order.

We have been assisted by Travis, he was professional & nice person, he offered many affordable options that we had one of them.
