Miguel was our sales guy. He listened to what we were looking for and showed us all the options that fit our needs and budget. He knew the furniture and detailed all the pros and cons of each. I felt we were dealing with a guy that knows his stuff, without high pressuring us. His demeanor was respectful. Our purchase was mainly based on his guidance. We feel that Ashley sells good quality furniture with very favorable financing plans if you choose that route (up to 5 years). By paying cash or taking short term no interest financing we were able to negotiate a substantial discount on the furniture we bought. Delivery charges were initially high. When I pushed back on the delivery charges, Miguel got approval from his manager to severely reduce them. However, I believe they agreed to reduce delivery charges because I took their 5 year extended warranty plan which by itself was pretty pricey. We spent more than I had budgeted, all-in for the furniture, extended warranty, and tax, but we got exactly what we were looking for. Having Miguel as our sales guy was a plus.
