The buying experience was nice but the delivery experience was a nightmare. Verbally we were promised compensation for the delivery mishaps and they didn’t follow through. Plus…the minute it was delivered, I knew it was too big for our room. They wouldn’t allow the return. I will never shop Ashley again

**Ashley Furniture: A Complete Scam** Honestly, dealing with Ashley Furniture has been a nightmare. They’re nothing but scammers who sell you junk that’s nothing like what you see in the showroom. They deliver broken furniture after making you wait forever, and then they refuse to give your money back. We bought everything for our apartment from them—bedroom set, living room set, bookshelves, TV stand, and a coffee table. They promised delivery in 10 days, but the day before, they delayed it by two weeks. Then it turned into a month. After all that waiting, only the TV stand showed up, and it was completely messed up—different design, poorly made, and unusable. We sent it back. Customer service called and said, “Just keep the base for now; we’ll get you a new one in a few days.” The coffee table had issues too, and we agreed to the same deal. After what felt like forever, some bed parts and nightstands arrived, but they turned our place into a storage unit. We were told the rest would come “soon.” We slept on the floor for a month because we had no bed, just parts lying around. When the rest finally showed up, the bed was broken too! We refused it again. My husband went to the store to cancel everything and get our money back. They refused, even though we paid for insurance. They wouldn’t even pick up the trash they left in our place. So now, our apartment is a dump filled with Ashley’s garbage. We had to buy new furniture from Gallery Furniture, who were awesome, but months later, we’re still stuck with this junk from Ashley and have no idea how to fix this mess with such a shady company.

If I could rate my experience with Ashley 0 stars I would . We ordered a couch back in February and it is August 1st and we still do not have our couch. I just want to cancel the order and try somewhere else. I have moved my work around to be home to find out the delivery is not coming. I will never order from here again.

I hate I even went in Ashley’s got furniture out of Lake Jackson, Texas The lady said that she was giving me an electric recliner. I suppose to get a chargeable nightstand I just got a regular nightstand Tabitha told me she was gone put the protection plan on my Furniture I haven’t had my furniture a whole month and it’s broken and now I am being sent through all kinds loops just to get my furniture replaced no one answers the phone I hate it. I will never ever purchase anything else from Ashley’s furniture
I’ve been visiting the Ashley showroom for about two months looking at dining room sets. I’ve had a great experience working with Sales professional Teresa Cantu at the Lake Jackson Texas store. Teresa has been warm, but professional. I couldn’t have asked for better help in choosing my new dining set. She never pushed or tried to rush me but gave me time to consider different sets until I made the purchase today. I’m looking forward to getting my new set next week and again, it was a very pleasant experience working with Teresa Cantu.

Found really great furniture for great prices! Customer service was great and employees were really kind.
Save your money!!! Although prices are good they do not disclose that there will always be a delivery fee because everything comes out of North Houston so delivery fees will never be less than 200$. Also make sure the associate who helps you knows what she is talking about or you will be hit with OUTRAGEOUS fees and price changes at the end. Manager was a great help although still for the amount I purchased delivery fees were through the roof. Take CAUTION with this place if you go here.
The sales team did pretty good it was a comfortable conversation and we didn’t have someone breathing down our neck the whole time but they still got the sale and I was pleased and that is very rare for me to say after working with anyone who works sales and make commission usually they are very pushy
Friendly at store but lied to me about the assembly. I paid for assembly on delivery. But the put down leave on doorstep. I will most likely never see that money again don't go here they will scam you
Came in to buy a bedroom suit. NO ONE greeted us or asked if they could help. The employees were laughing and talking and having a good time. They looked at us, but never acknowledged we were in the store. So we left. Will never ever shop there again!

I returned an item the day after and they still charged me for it and I'm still dealing with trying to get a refund on it months after. I'm getting late fees charged on the store credit card and it's affecting my credit score. The sales people are relentless in trying to get you to make a purchase. I had to return to the store a few times to deal with the refund. Was told I was gonna get a call back to check the status on the refund and never did. And I'm calling to say to find out there's no refund in the system yet!

I wish I could give 0 stars!!! I never write bad reviews but our experience was so bad that I want others to be warned before wasting their time and hard earned money!! We purchased a zero gravity reclining living room set and dining room table and 8 chairs on 4/6 from the manager Matthew. He was so friendly and helpful. We received everything but the loveseat. Not even 30 min after getting the delivery, the couch stopped working. I took a video and went to the store to show them what happened. Every since then, I received nothing but the run around from the store manager Matthew. I constantly get told that Matthew will call me back and every single time I get nothing. I have to call over and over and sometimes get lucky that Matthew answers the call. When I do talk to him, he promises to call me back and give me some answers and updates and then he NEVER calls back. EVER! I have pages and pages of notes that I started writing down of everyone I spoke to and when and all the things I kept getting told was done when it actually wasn't. I finally cancelled the order because I was not comfortable spending over $6,000 on items and getting no customer service or communication. I am very understanding and know that sometimes you can't get an answer right away and sometimes things are out of your control, however, he could have at least called back and said that. We were told that the furniture would be picked up on 4/27 and low and behold, nobody showed up. When I called to speak to the manager again, he told me he was going to get an ETA on where the drivers were and call me back withing 30 minutes. Guess what happened.... HE NEVER CALLED BACK. so then I had to call a couple more times that night only to be told every time that he was busy. I called several times the next day and again he did nothing but avoid me. It wasn't until I told the sales associate that if Matthew didn't call me back within an hour I was going to come up to the store, that Matthew finally called me back just to tell me he didn't know what happened. Come to find out, it now has been scheduled to be picked up on 5/1. There is never any communication and Matthew the manager is extremely rude and unwilling to help! I don't know how this store has stayed open this long with how they treat their customers. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANY ASHLEY STORE FROM HERE ON OUT!! I could go on and on with everything that happened at this store with the store manager Matthew but this covers most of it. If someone from corporate wants to reach out to me I would be more than happy to have a conversation about everything I experienced. I really don't expect to hear anything though because nobody from this company cares!

No issues with delivery. Quick and easy delivery. Spent a few hours in store though as it was a bit slow and some system issues but overall not bad. Will be returning Friday for a fix on a lease discrepancy though, hopefully that goes well. Overall good

CHEAP FURNITURE!!! We bought $8000 worth of furniture. A bed, nightstand, 2 dressers, a couch and a recliner. I thought I was getting good quality stuff, but after about 8 months, the stitching in the couch is coming out, the bed frame is broken in multiple places, all the drawer sliders are crooked so the drawers look awful and slide terribly. Altogether terrible quality and ridiculously overpriced. Will be contacting them to discuss what they can do about this complete rip off. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Workers in store are very helpful. Product looks nice, but is CHEAP. The 5 year protection plan doesn't cover what it says it will. Paid 200$ for a new couch cushion and a tech to come fix sagging couch. The order was lost multiple times and pushed back weeks. Still waiting.... I would much rather spend 1000s of dollars somewhere else w/ better quality and customer service. Ashley's is a mess. I've left about 3 bad reviews in my entire life, and this is one. NEVER AGAIN.

I'll be living in an airstream camper soon and needed something to put my feet on that was light and I could store it. She found me a small poof stool. Kinda like a been bag for feet.
Customer service in store was good. I received my furniture two months after purchased. One of the items came in broken. I have been given the run around to get it fixed for over four months now. I will NEVER purchase from this business again.

Friendly, helpful staff and a great selection of furniture. We went in looking for a couple of barstools (which we purchased) and also noticed a bedroom set which we will probably purchase. There's a large parking lot near the entrance.
We purchased this furniture on 10/15/ from the Lake Jackson store. We received the item on 10/18/23 and the item was delivered in a broken state. The delivery personnel knew it was broken because I saw him messing with it and forced me to sign it before I could test the item and drove off.I worked with different teams starting 5 minutes after noticing the unusable furniture. I received a call from VIP support and told them they would make this right. I was then notified the next day that the support ticket was closed without opening an exchange.I called on Friday afternoon and spoke with Matthew Atobe who assured me the exchange paperwork would be completed on Friday. I called on Monday 10/23 and spoke to Matthew again. I was informed that the exchange paperwork was not completed and I asked for a refund. I worked with Matthew and was assured it would be resolved and agreed on a Wednesday 10/25/23 delivery date. I spoke to Matthew and was afraid to use the furniture and it was causing an issue because my son had nowhere to sleep. He assured me that we could use it. That it was ok because the furniture was broken before use.Come today 10/25 the delivery was scheduled but delayed due to a truck issue. We were told again to use the furniture and any condition was fine. We did not want to damage it so we were careful with it however we have a small pet. We were told there was a small bit of hair on the furniture and it could not be taken!! That they would not accept and would not deliver our other fixed furniture. Then THEY DROVE OFF WITHOUT TELLING US. Then to top it all off, they said they completed the order and to enjoy our furniture!!!PastedGraphic-1.pngWe have never been treated so bad by a company ever! I do not want to do business with Ashley furniture ever again. We've spent over 10000.00 of furniture in past and have never been so defeated and frustrated ever. Please have the DSG come pick up the furniture tomorrow and refund our credit account so I can close my accounts. We will never do business with someone who treats my family like this!!!

As soon as we walked in we were immediately approached but told them we were just looking. After that the workers started staring and whispering to each other while looking at us. When we would move to a different section they would follow behind us and stare. So dissatisfied!

We just moved to Angleton and things are still in boxes, running crazy….I went in to look for a table real quick and I ended up having fun and laughing A LOT with the three people that were working. I think the guy was a manager, he was a black male maybe in his 30’s. The sales lady was Caucasian maybe in 50s and then a younger girl that I would guess was in her 20s. I bought a side table and that was it but will be back for kitchen set. Fun way to end my day with these three…they work very well together and with customers :))

I’m not one to talk bad about a company or a person but good god after spending almost $2000 on furniture I expected better customer service. Kyle ( my sales person) did all he could for me to buy the furniture. But upon upon delivery and having issues with the furniture he wouldn’t do anything to help resolve the issue. And upon me going to the store to speak to a manager. ( Alice) promise she would handle the situation yet it’s been about 3 months now and I have yet had a solution to my issue proposed to me. I would go up to the store and call to see if there’s been an update and all they say is they’ll get in contact with me yet they never do. One of the worst places to get furniture from
I typically don't like to write bad reviews but when you spend thousands of dollars on furniture, you would expect better customer service than that. I bought a coffee table for $1k from them and the salesman said it would go great with anything. So I bought it and when I received it and saw it actually in my living room I realized it didn't match at all. So I go back the very next day to see if they would give me store credit and they told me no. I guess I'm just stuck with over priced furniture that doesn't match. Thanks Ashley

Manager was nice as was associate, then it went downhill. As a disabled combat veteran they set up a pick up day and I let associate know I was on my way and he stated he was off but there were expecting me. Get there and 3 women state bear with us as it's just us 3 ladies... what?? Really, that's how you follow up a sale. Sent associate Daniel a message and didn't hear back. My friend went in to help and said it's a disaster and 2 male associates just standing around watching while the ladies tried to load a heavy electric sofa and love seat. I had to come in and assist along with my friend to get the furniture out to my truck. HORRIBLE. Contacted corporate and they were useless.. we're passing along to store to contact you, and of course no contact. Then my table they delivered I went to put together and this is a expensive heavy table and imagine that, it's damaged in Numerous areas. Black fingerprint smudge marks, mold spots that I tried to wipe off with bleach and to no help and the corner of table top smashed. Makes me believe this was used.

I purchased a mattress and explained that it was for an Rv. It’s too big and there was no 90 day warranty. No one offered a 90 day warranty at the time of purchase.
I made a purchase in April and was not notified that my purchase was an ‘As-is’ item. I am extremely bothered as to how this happened and how I am not eligible to exchange the item for something else. This sale was not properly explained to me nor does it reflect that on my purchase receipt.

If you use this company make sure you triple check everything. The salesperson put in the wrong number in. so now I have to wait to send it back then I have to wait for the mattress that I wanted to come in 4 days later. For the meanwhile I have to sleep on the floor. Not only that I was going to buy more but the sales person was super push and didn’t lesson to what I was going in for that is the reason I only got the mattress and not a a whole bedroom set and front room set. Plus price difference on the mattress was not honored so I have to pay more for the mattress that I’m getting.

We recently purchased couches. Once delivered we did not find them comfortable after some health changes. 16 hours after delivery we tried to return them. We received NO paperwork that the store does not do returns nor were there signs posted in the store. No one at the store or in customer service will even address the problem. I will NEVER step foot in an Ashley store again!We contacted the number suggested here and again and have received zero help.

So my review is kind of mixed. I walked into the Lake Jackson store and purchased a reclining couch. It’s leather. It has motorized, recliners, USB ports. I love it! it’s so comfortable and it’s wearing extremely well. here’s where the “mixed” part of the review comes. I was so pleased with my couch. I decided to purchase a dining room table, chairs, and buffet. I put the items in my cart and was looking for delivery fee when I saw the fine print: assembly required!? $2000 and I have to put it together? No thanks.

My sofa was delivered on oct 14 damaged. A service call was made that wasn’t followed up with. They then offered an exchange that was set for November 26. They never scheduled it in the system so now I have to wait even longer. Veronica told me she would call me back on 12/6. Here we are 12/8 and still no follow up. They want the sale real bad but can’t keep that same energy after they have your money.

I am truly sorry to have to write this review. After spending thousands of dollars over the years at Ashley they have truly let me down. We bought new bedroom furniture which was delivered with a drawer not working. We are going on two months now of not getting the furniture repaired after their repair vendor was a no show. I have left two messages with their vendor with no return phone call and customer service is no help at all. My next step will be to drive to Lake Jackson to the store which is 45 minutes away and speak to the manager.

Had just made a deal on a clearance item. It was a power loveseat and couch. I was told that both items worked just the couch was not plugged in. I saw it in the loveseat and it did work. We went ahead and made a deal that fit my financing. I had gone ahead and scheduled a pick up with my friend to pick it up today. The sales lady called me and said the couch on one side did not work. And because of the deal that I have made, they would not fix it in my home. But as long as it was sitting on the door floor, they would get someone to fix the item. But if I had picked it up, it was never going to be fixed. They only offered me 5% off more that would equal to $100. I could not understand why that couch would be fixed in store, but they could not fix it in my home. So I canceled the deal. They can keep their broken couch if they don’t want to work with a customer.
Teresa was my sales professional and she was absolutely accommodating and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to everyone and would do business with her again in the future!

I came here to get furniture for my first house I've ever bought and the employee was very pushy. I couldn't even have a second to breathe with how much she was circling us like a shark and trying to get us to finance. We ended up financing $6000 worth of furniture but the experience was awful. They charged me for two warranties instead of one which came out to an extra $800 which I only found out about two months later. When I tried to get them to refund another lady told me to give it two months before it'll get credited back into my account. This was back in May and it is now the middle of September and still have no credits to show for on my statements. At this point it's just plain theft. Trying to get this issue resolved at the Lake Jackson location has been abysmal. While trying to cancel half of my order, the front desk lady was rude. The salespeople look at you and only see dollar signs. I couldn't imagine how the customer service is gonna be. This place has nice looking furniture but their employees are not worth the headache.

We had the worst experience. Ordered a mattress with delivery in less than 2 weeks. Scheduled a date that was then moved out another week the day of and today on delivery day we were told the mattress is on back order til May… that’s 9 months away! When we called to ask for a refund and to cancel the order the extremely rude person hung up on us explaining they could deliver the bed frame this week just not the mattress.. cause a bed frame with no mattress is helpful. Do not go here!!

My delivery was supposed to be on June 7th, then continued to be promised and scheduled to me around seven times before I even got the RAILS. Only the rails for my bed were left in my room. Then three schedules times later I got my head board and footboard, but not the hardware so they couldn’t put it together like I paid for. And I was told I have to order that again instead of then doing it and put it together myself now. So now my room has pieces all over it and no place to actually put my mattress now until they get this hardware but I can’t even reach anyone to get it ordered. It’s august 4th. The sales people have been very helpful , but the delivery and anyone above that have been rude and extremely unhelpful
Scammers! I bought a Sterns and Foster mattress which turned out to be very uncomfortable. I gave it the full 30 days trial. I was initially convinced to purchase the high-end model which I did based on what seemed to be expert opinion. I tried to exchange the mattress based on their sleep guarantee program and was told I would not get a refund of $1100 difference. Their policy has a lot of loopholes that are designed to con people. Equal or greater value, therfore if your initial purchase is more than the exchange the consumer eats the loss. Additionally you must purchase the upsales that are marked up exponentially to even be considered for an exchange. Please avoid at all cost or suffer dire consequences.
I can't there wanting to buy furniture with cash, nothing more. From the moment I walked in a salesperson honestly bugged me and was very pushy. Before I knew it they were trying to lease their furniture to me at a higher price than what is is worth. They didn't listen when I kept telling them I don't like this. Nor that. I don't need anything on credit. Even the manager jumped in and started to be pushy along with the salesperson to lease me out something. I walked out as fast as I could since they are like a Rent A Center and don't listen to their customers. They made me never want to come back.

I could not make up my mind and wanted to see other options, so I would go somewhere else and then come back because the couch I wanted kept calling my name. It took 3 days and three trips to visit with Alice to make my final decision. Alice showed me everything that I could possibly be interested in at the store, and had many great ideas. The store is loaded with very well made furniture with lots of options. She was so patient with me. She didn't pressure me into anything. There were many finance options and it was painless. I can't wait to get my new couch!

2. Ok DB I call and text this number two hours later no resolve. I when to Ashley I still have not heard anything about my refund. As of right now I consider being ripped out over $500, and you have been given all the recipes and documents to prove this. This needs to be resolved ASAP and I a very mad, return my refund so I can be done with this. Do not use!!! I spent 4K here and had to wait months to get a partial of my order, and then was left to put the items together myself in my home. I have canceled the rest of my order due to excesses, them blaming covid and gas prices on the lack of concern for the rest of my furniture. I am still owed my refund of $500 and keep getting excesses on this also and has been 3 weeks and still have not gotten my refund. The do not care about their customs.

Went to the Lake Jackson store and was approached by a salesperson, Teresa Cantu. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for and kept me within my budget, she even made a few suggestions and I don’t regret taking her advice. I had told her that I didn’t have a bed liner on my new truck yet and I was worried it would scratch it, but when I went to go pick up my entertainment center (TV stand) she had it up in front, and went above and beyond to wrap it all around and underneath so that I wouldn’t scratch my bed up. She solved my problem and put my mind at ease. She was awesome and I am definitely going back to that store and have her take care of any other orders I place. Awesome job!

Was a 5 star till I got to warehouse to pickup furniture. The Ashley store where we bought the furniture was great but the way they treated us at the warehouse over shadowed everything else. There are no words to describe how bad the Houston warehouse employees act towards their customers.

Walked in store (lj) ordered 2 dressers they didn’t know when I would get delivery. Called a week later they said within 2 weeks. Called again they said 7 weeks. Called today they said 3 months! My family and I are living out of suit cases! Don’t waste your time! I’m getting a refund probably will take 3 months as well.
We have no issue with the furniture we’ve received so far and in store customer service was great, but dealing with delivery issues have been a nightmare. Trying to resolve them is near impossible when everyone at the call center speaks broken English and has terrible reception. We’ve received text messages to confirm delivery dates and taken time off to be home only for nothing to arrive and to be told the items are still back ordered. No one ever has an answer as to why we’re getting the text either. Very frustrating.
We went in to just look at some furniture, check out their prices and see what the process was like in financing options. Needless to say, our salesman and his assistant was top notch. Not only did they get us financed, they worked great as a team. Thank you for the time and attention you gave us.
Our experience today at Ashley today was that will be repeated as long as you are there. I ordered a basic moving base in July with a pillow and still have not gotten it! I think it’s terrible business every time I call they tell me it should be ready soon, they give me different dates, and I’ve had to call and redue the leasing agreement because the financing company allows 90 days before they cancel it! It’s very frustrating and annoying.

I paid for my sofas and had to wait longer than I was told. The price dropped BEFORE the sofas were delivered but I still got charged the higher price. This is unacceptable and I will never shop at Ashley again.
The folks at our local Ashley Homestore in Lake Jackson, TX are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. They understand how to assist their customers properly. You will not be bombarded by salespeople, however they make themselves available to you when you are ready to talk to them. My wife and I bought a sectional sofa, it arrived promptly, and it was shipped in great condition. We had it for several months before selling our house. The sectional was still so beautiful and in great condition, the buyers for our house paid us full price for the sofa along with our house. We just ordered our new sofa for the new house and we didn’t even consider using another retailer.

I’ve never worked with a more difficult furniture company in my life. Back in September we ordered an item for my dad that was to be ready for pickup a week later in Houston. We went to pick it up and it was not ready—and Ashley never bothered to call and notify us before we made the drive. They agreed to deliver the item by October 17th (1 full month later) and they never made the delivery. Despite several phone calls to the store staff who made a million promises they never kept, the item still wasn’t delivered as promised. When it arrived today (days and weeks beyond the agreed upon timeframes), it wasn’t even the correct item. When I called the store, they continued their delay tactics and seemed unbothered that their service up to this point was so awful. The level of customer service you should expect at this store is 0 of 5 stars. Take your business elsewhere and avoid the headache.
I would give negative stars if I could. We have had our bed set for under a year and our bed frame broke on July 4th and we started the process to have it fixed. 1000 calls with customer care and the store manager Matthew .....absolutely nothing has been done to this day. My new mattress has been on the floor for 5 months .... Every time I speak to someone, the part to fix my bed as been delayed ... every. Single. Time..... My newest estimation was March 2022!!!!!!!!!!No discount or help has been offered.. no condolences or customer service has been given. NEVER NEVER buy from this location. It is a franchise and if something goes south with your purchase they will absolutely not help you even if you're still in warranty!!!!! Don't let the easy loan and pretty show room fool you. GO TO GALLERY FURNITURE AND PUT THIS LOCATION OUT OF BUSINESS! I can't do anything except go talk to the store manager everyday!!!! There is no one to call above the store manager and HE IS NOT HELPFUL.
We ordered furniture (dinning room table, buffet, two night stands, dresser, and a bed frame) at the beginning of July and were told it would be delivered in three weeks. We had to wait until nearly the end of September to get our order and when we did get it, pieces were scratched by the delivery men and the bed was missing. When I contacted the store about the bed, I spoke with Matt (manager) and was told it would be the end of October until we received the bed, and now we got notified today that the bed is pushed back until January! When I've called, I've been told by Matt and several of his employees that they would return my phone call and that has never happened until today, but only to tell us that the delivery date is being pushed back. This is not how you treat customers! We were never told at the beginning of the process that there would be a delay, let alone one this long. We will now be waiting for our order until January, which is 5 months from when we ordered it! When I speak to any representative, including Matt, no responsibility is taken, no ownership of anything, it's always someone else's fault or mistake. This situation is completely unacceptable, and when speaking with representatives there, I get the sense that this is no big deal, there is no sense of urgency to fix the problem, only tag lines and empty words. What you're doing is so loud I can't hear what you're saying.

We ordered our furniture from Lake Jackson (Sales person AK) on 7/3/2021. Brought home one piece the buffer table that day. They said they would deliver on 7/13/2021. That day came and I called asking what time will they be delivery. They said we don’t have you scheduled and we don’t have all your furniture. We called and called the date kept being moved. Now we have everything being delivered but the kitchen table and shelves on 10/23/2021. We will see if that is true since they have promised delivery 3 times now. So we have a buffer table and Saturday we will have 6 bars chairs with no table. They said the table is estimate to be at the warehouse on 12/2021. That’s not a delivery date. So for Thanksgiving 2021 we have chairs and no table.

My coffee table got broken within 3 days receiving it. I asked if I can exchange or return it for a new one. They said no, they don't do return but they will send a repair guy to fix it and it been over a month and no one still came to fix it. They said 7-14 business days to get the parts to fix and that already passed. They are giving me the run around.

They stand behind their furniture , everything is set up so u can see it in a home setting. The furniture is very good quality. Sturdy and reliable, can’t wait till thanksgiving so I can have my family over to enjoy it as much as I do…love it!!!

Roy helped as we purchased a new sectional and cabinet for the house. He was there to answer questions and help find options for the size room we have. If he didn't know the answer he brought in another person with more experience to help. All of our questions were answered and it was a great experience.
They lied and said our order would be ready in 6 to 10 weeks... it took about 6 months to receive the couch. And we got it in pieces, in different deliveries. They are only allowed to hold the pieces that are ready for 3 weeks! And then they will tell you they cannot deliver. So you’re kind of forced to get it in pieces or risk taking an even longer time to receive. The couches are nice though. And I’m not sure if they are taking long because no one wants to work at the factories that make them. I’ve never perchased from them before COVID.

[8/7/21 Update.2: Called the store and tried another option, got an automated system that said I wouldn't get the ottoman, that I bought and paid for on May 10th, for another 7 to 9 weeks, then called and selected another option, got a salesman who said he would forward me to the manager and hung up, called again with the same option and got the manager, he offered to get it to me sooner and I told him I just wanted to cancel the order and get a refund, so he got a refund put on the card I bought it with] [8/7/21 Update: I contacted the store to cancel the order that I bought and paid for on May 10th, they told me to call them and select the option for customer service, customer service took my info and told me the store would be calling me about canceling my order in the next 72 hours] [8/6/21 Update: Now they are telling me that the ottoman I bought and paid for on May 10th won't be delivered till after September 18th] [7/20/21 Update: Now they are telling me that the ottoman I bought and paid for on May 10th won't be delivered till after September 7th!] Where we had always been happy when buying furniture from this store in the past, it's a nightmare this time... When I bought and paid for an ottoman (for health reasons) on May 10th, the salesman had promised that I would get it in 4 to 6 weeks and maybe sooner, so the next day I enquired about maybe getting it sooner, I was told that I did not understand, the estimated date of delivery is August 27, and they did not reassure me that I will get it even then, they refuse to try to expedite the order... So as I am writing this (on June 26), I have my feet propped up on an upside down laundry basket with a blanket on top...

The staff took me to the location of the recliner that met all my needs. After they gave me the time I needed to make my decision, they were there to seal the deal and answered all my questions. The price they gave me met my budget and the piece was of great quality. I’ll shop here again!

Well, it was sort of a "car borrow and wait for 'them' in the store". It was a nice store. Priced a bit high but that's to be expected in a furniture store. I had a "thing to do", that being searching for a mattress and box spring. All they had were new foam or better in stock. Two were in my price range, but I wanted inner spring mattress/box spring set. (oh, the prices were $350 and $800, minus sale and whatever to bring the actual price down to $300 and $780. But as I said, weren't what I wanted. The end.🙂
It’s currently June 12, 2021 at 9:04 a.m. I’ve been trying to call the store to get an update on my order that was supposed to be delivered the 9th and each time I call I get an automated message saying they’re closed. I click on the actual Ashley’s furniture website and see a customer service number so I call it and it connects me to DIRECTV! When I call the actual corporation it instructs me to call my local store. I’m going in circles and the tracking button online is saying there is no order under my number. Ridiculous.
I actually went twice to this location. The first salesperson I got couldn't be bothered with questions and details - or possibly was just very inexperienced. The second time I came back, I got a different salesperson who was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and was able to negotiate price when I couldn't go over a certain amount. I can't wait to get my recliner! The delivery time window of 6-8 weeks was acceptable.
Just bought a beautiful sofa and a wide recliner for our new living room. There were so many choices with a wide variety of colors/styles and were able to get exactly what we had envisioned with the whole family in mind. Everyone was super helpful, attentive, and explained pricing/options/financing. Teresa was especially nice and made the whole process very pleasant.
Customer service was excellent. Manager even made himself available without request for any questions or concerns regarding my purchase. Rep was very knowledgeable about products and helped me find items best suitable for my needs.
Very friendly people. They work with you to get you what you want but within your budget.

HORRIBLE experience with Ashley Furniture. The salesman KJ is a manipulator and sells products they don’t have. I’ve been waiting for a top mattress for my daughter bed for 3 months already. I keep getting notifications and and representatives telling me my products are ready for delivery and still have YET to receive. Don’t waste your time with this store. The managers won’t even call back. Worst customer service EVER.
Got a wonderful deal on the perfect ottoman for our home, better than what I was hoping for, but after the salesman told me that I would get it in 4 to 6 weeks,, I am now being told that it will not be delivered for almost 4 months, looking forward to getting the ottoman, but really disappointed with the wait time...
We have had a great experience with Ashley Furniture every time we shop there! The sales staff is always kind and attentive. This time we walked right in, immediately got helped, picked what we wanted, and were out of the store within an hour! We will continue to do business there.

Horrible! I bought from Ashley’s 8 years ago and the furniture lasted very well. So I bought from them again hoping to have the same experience. I have been through hell to have my furniture delivered. They were supposed to deliver it on February 27th. It never came. Nor did they call to let me know. I called and had it rescheduled for March 3 it did not come. Scheduled it again for March 5th and they brought me ONE DINING ROOM CHAIR. Mind you i bought furniture for the entire house. The furniture finally came on March 6th but a piece of my couch was missing. I have had this piece scheduled to be delivered 3 separate times and STILL don’t have it. When I call, no one knows anything. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN

Don’t buy from here. Go to Pearland if you absolutely have to use Ashley’s. If you are unlucky enough to have the sales associate order the wrong size piece, getting it corrected takes Months and it’s a constant run-a-around every time you go talk to a manager/associate. This is literally the worst experience I’ve ever had buying furniture. If you read this, please go somewhere else or a different location, because this place is horrible.

Second time I have bought furniture from Ashley. The showroom seemed a little small but there was a lot to choose from. Our sales rep was friendly and answered all of the questions we had. With his help, we were able to find exactly what we were looking for.

Do yourself a favor and read the most recent reviews. Everyone has the same experience as me. I will never order from here again. My mother and I both had the same problem with orders getting to us. Hers came over a month and a half late as well as damaged. They would not take it back the day they delivered it and then everyone pointed fingers at each other to fix it. Fast forward many calls to Ashley and from ashley (at least 100) and no resolution. I also had issues with my order and still have not recieved peices that should have been delivered 2 months ago. I ended up cancelling a peice and was told it was cancelled and a refund was on the way to only have no refund and to be told it is getting delivered tomorrow when I do not want it anymore. Customer service points to the store and vice versa. The store also do not have a phone number they can pick up. Every time I have been in the store someone has been complaining to the manager and left with no resolution and here we are in the same boat. Increadibly unhappy with their service. I was also given a pillow off of the showroom floor not new in a box. a $150 pillow. Not in a box. Used. In a pandemic.
Shopped for a recliner at the Lake Jackson Store. Received great service from Paul. Very good price, very nice recliner, free delivery. All done quickly and hassle free. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

The absolute worst experience I've had buying furniture. They don't care if you get what you want only that they make a sale!! Pushy pushy people. Make sure you get your paperwork, ALL your paperwork if you go through their finance. Which is a joke. I will never go through their finance again not will I buy from them again. I didn't make sure I got all my paperwork. My mistake.
We decided to upgrade our bedroom set from a queen to a king, and after shopping at our local Ashley HomeStore we ordered a king size bed frame along with the box spring and a brand new mattress because the salesman told us “it would be easier and would give us the best deal.” We were told today that everything was being delivered (frame, box spring, and mattress) to only find out as the crew finishes setting up the bed frame that our mattress is now on BACK ORDER! We received NO NOTIFICATION that was was or is possibly even an issue. We contacted the store and was told in summary that they currently cannot even give an expected time of arrival. That some furniture has been delayed since JUNE. We were not notified that the mattress wasn’t coming so naturally we sold and gave away our mattress etc. and at 6 months pregnant we most def would have not done that had we even received a phone call or text that this was an issue. In fact- we did receive a voicemail that stated everything would be arriving on time and together. I highly do not recommend shopping here as we have spoke to several people who still cannot give us an arrival time of the mattress we have already paid for in full, and the professionalism that has clearly been misplaced. Our sales rep never once mentioned an even possible delay in furniture delivery, and the set up crew were the ones left delivering this inconsiderate information. So now we wait and I guess sleep on an air mattress till it “someday arrives.” Never again. Thanks guys.

Ordered couches and end table from the Lake Jackson location. The sales people are good but have to watch prices very close and make sure they are right. But after the good customer service comes chaos. I can’t get in touch with no one when I call to see where my delivery is today. Went up to the store to speak to someone and apparently they deliver whenever they want and don’t care to help after the sale is made. My time was just wasted while waiting for a delivery and wasted my time when I could have looked elsewhere like I am now! If possible I would have reviewed a 0 because the service isn’t even a 1.

My bedroom set fits wonderful, I love the way it looks.
We went in and purchased a sectional and coffee table and was to in would be ready in 4 to 6 weeks which seemed to be long time but we said ok. We were told they would call and give us an updated date for delivery since I didn't want to pay $278.00 delivery fee and would have to go to Houston to get it. 4 weeks later and no one has called to update us so I call them to be told it will be at least another 4 weeks. I find it absurd to take over 11 weeks after you pay for your furniture to get it. They tried to blame it on Covid even though that's why it was going to take 4 to 6 weeks. After checking around found out they have done the same thing to some friends of ours a couple years ago before Covid
I will never shop at Ashley again. I checked on my order 4 times and was given 4 different estimates. I waited so long for my sofas that the price dropped before delivery but I was still charged the higher amount. They said they couldn't adjust the price. They could, they just wouldn't.
We found quality, beautiful furniture in store and great service people. We will shop there again.
I visited the Lake Jackson, TX location to look for new furniture and the customer service was outstanding! Ms. Janice Smith asked if o needed help and I let her know I was just looking and she said ok. There was no feeling of being haggled. When I did find things that I liked she was knowledgeable and gave me helpful information that helped me to decide what would work for me. I purchased furniture for 3 rooms at this one visit and it was such an effortless purchase. She helped at every turn and worked to get me the best deals possible. when buying furniture from Ashley they need to deliver all the furniture not one one month another peice 3 months later..And there customers service is so unprofessional the general managers and managers are so hateful...I've told people that want to buy furniture at Ashley I've told them my exsperiance i tell them go to crawford
I have had the pleasure of purchasing two living room sets and a dinning room table in the last 2years. The quality of Ashley Homestore furniture is top of the line in my opinion. They'll work with you even if you don't have good credit. They have have so many styles of decor I'm confidant you'll find what you're looking for and more. I know I did and am extremely happy with my decisions.
Excellent customer service! Edit: The customer service is only good in store. Once they make the sale they don’t care if/when you get what you purchased. They sure make sure you make the payments on it, if you have the merchandise or not. I explained to them that I needed a new couch ASAP because I had already gotten rid of my previous one. Here we are 6 weeks later and I have received 1 out of 3 pieces of my couch. Every time I call it’s pushed back even more. How am I supposed to have thanksgiving at my house WITH 1/3 OF MY DAMN COUCH.
I originally went to the Lake Jackson Ashley store on a Saturday the sales guy was not helpful made me mad so I left, I went back on Sunday give him second chance I think he is the one messed this whole order up! I have shopped at other Ashley stores and didn’t have this problem.. I ordered a tv stand with a fireplace on arriving day for the tv stand/fireplace the fireplace didn’t come installed. So went to the store and the manager says it should have been installed so she ordered the fireplace and the fireplace arrived today they didn’t install it. So I called the store the lady asked we were installing from the back or front I said it doesn’t matter it should have been installed when the tv stand was delivered she said the manager gave us free delivery with free delivery it doesn’t come installed, but if it was delivered correct the first time we would not be having this trouble she would not let me speak to the manager she could take a message I hung up she was not very helpful at all. They have no care in the world about their customers I will never use the lake Jackson Ashley store ever again!
I only had to rate this ONE star but I wouldn’t even give this store or company that much! They have horrible horrible horrible customer service. They lie about delivery times. You can’t get anybody on the phone ever because “their system is down” We ordered back in September and our delivery date keeps getting pushed further and further away.. we are looking at the middle of January now.. and good luck trying to get somebody on the phone.. nobody wants to do their job rather here locally or corporately they just want to transfer you from person to person. That’s WHY people aren’t getting their orders! I don’t see how this place hasn’t went bankrupt or sued due to this! Pathetic!
We went in to browse, but the 0% interest for 5 years is a pretty good offer. Our salesman was helpful, not pushy, really got us what we wanted. The hardest part was deciding what to get when there were many options that fit us. In the end, we got more than we came for, but no regrets!
Horrible customer service. The manager needs to be replaced. She has no compassion or understanding. When I went in there with the issue. all she kept saying that it is my store it is my store it is my store. her and her employees are not on the same page cause they both told me different things. They are nice to you when they are trying to get your money but as soon as they get your money they are totally different. We purchased a new house and went to Ashley furniture for all our furniture . And ended up with a total nightmare. It took 3 months for them to deliver some of the furniture. After 3 months I canceled the rest and I now have two twin beds in pieces. The delivery guys told me that it could not be put together because they are both missing a piece. The manager says that all the pieces have been delivered. But yet that is not true. She is not helpful. When asked for a corporate number . She said there is no number this is my store I'm the manager. I wouldn't want this nightmare on no one... DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE..
We had such wonderful and knowledgeable people helping us!!! Everyone there was very patient with us while we were making our decisions. Plus the furniture is beautiful. Would highly recommend to anybody searching for furniture.
The product I received was incorrect. I had once again go to the store as Noone would answer the phone. To keep it short, I was going to have to pay more to get what I had originally ordered as THEY ordered the incorrect item after I had given them the item number and showed them pictures. To keep the deal short and avoid all the RED TAPE I decided to keep the incorrect items and again ordered the items I wanted and that was on 10/12 with a promised delivery date of 10/24. On Thursday 10/22 I received the confirmation delivery email for Saturday delivery on 10/24 between 10:15am and 1:15pm. The order quit tracking their location so after a 20 minute wait I finally was able to talk to someone in customer service who told me the delivery was cancelled and a new delivery date of 10/27 was proposed. I was never contacted and I find this very unprofessional and after calling the store 4 times and not getting an answer, because I would like my delivery charge refunded, I will once again have to go back there and argue the point. The past 7 years my wife and I have spent approx.15-20k with Ashley, but this will be out last purchase with them.
Love the store and people, but I'm sick of being on hold with this store for a literal hour. I'm just trying to get ahold of the people in the back to pay a bill and I don't have a direct number, so I have to call the store, and get transferred, but I'm always on hold for at least 30 mins. I've been in the store and watched as a phone rang while no one even looked at it. There's plenty of people this shouldn't be such an issue.
To anybody else trying to get furniture here, I would not! You are way better off going elsewhere. Me and my fiance bought an $1,100 bed in the beginning of March, and the interest on the contract ended in may. We been paying $200 a month and it is October now and they said we still $850 to pay off. Their contracts are outrageous. Also we tried contacting the vendor multiple times to exchange our bed because our backs hurt everyday and they literally pick the phone up and hang up on us. We have to rotate our mattress 3 times a month. Again I do NOT prefer anyone purchasing furniture there.

I'd give this place 0 stars if could. Pushy sales that aren't fully trained on their products or financing. Overpriced garbage furniture that is IMPOSSIBLE to get fixed. I've called their support 7 times in two weeks and every single person has a different idea of how their warranty service works, can't transfer me to anyone else, can't tell me when I'll get service, won't call back when they promise, and take an hour of hold time to get too... Honestly, you're better off with cheap IKEA furniture. When it breaks you aren't out as much and you won't have to deal with the awful service from Ashley.

Great experience buying a new king size bed frame and mattress. Got a great deal! EDIT- we ordered a mattress and bed frame on 7/31 and received half of our order on 8/22, the mattress, footboard and rails, no box spring or headboard. NO ONE has been helpful in tracking our items or giving us an actual delivery date. We have been told 3 dates for delivery and none of those have come true. We have visited in store, called, emailed, chatted and have received no help or clarity. Just the run around and blame game, “we can’t do that” “I don’t know”. Purchase your furniture from another store!
Ordered a kids bed set months and months ago... went up there to cancel because the order kept getting pushed further back.. ordered another one because I was told that bed room set will be delivered the following week.... yet again delivery status has now changed 2 more times. Tried calling the store in lake jackson and no one answer... tried calling customer service.. computer operator says call the store that I purchased from..

I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran (3 tours in Iraq 3 in Afghanistan) and business owner, I own a remodeling company along with 2 body shops one here in freeport and the other in Austin and I own properties all over this area and Austin and rent out and flip homes constantly. For me to get the disrespect i received after spending about $10,000.00 in your store under 2 years and then going back and paying over $400.00 cash for this mattress which i could of spent less going to another store along with my military discount. I&'m so upset with the way I&'m being treated and I&'ve told a few of my colleagues that also remodel and purchase homes in this area and shop and buy from your store about what&'s happened, so we decided to not purchase anything from your business until you fix the problems in house. I&'ve had people work for me that stole from me and treated my customers so badly lied that they owned the business and took advantage of what was given to them.... Poor customer service R.J the sales rep, very desperate to get a sale. Will even give you his personal cellphone # and will call and text you to see, if you changed your mind. I Was approved, then when I returned to make the purchase they said I had to run my credit again. Brought this to "Sarah" the manager she acted if she was concerned, but wasn't. Very rude, lack of professional and will actually lie to you. Shows lack of Education for employees and horrible customer service.
I purchased a mattress July 5th and canceled my order on July 7th. I never got the mattress or my refund. It is now September 19th and I am still waiting for a refund. It has been refunded multiple times I think we are on refund #6 According to the Ashley's furniture store in lake Jackson. Each time they have told me that it will be issued In 7-10 days. Each time it has failed. I used a debit card and they said they have to mail a check. Sara Longoria (store manager) thought it was funny that the assistant manager (Roy Miller) tried to refund it back to my debit card because they are not set up for that. She hasn't been helpful at all in getting me my money. They kept the merchandise and stole my money. I have been on the phone with their so called customer service where I spoke to Hailey brewer and she said there was nothing that she can do. She would call josh stretch on his cell to see if available. Of course he wasn't. He would get back to me at his earliest convenience. Never happened on September 18th. Hailey also told me that Sara Longoria was lying about not being able to refund the money to my debit card. So I called back and Sara said accounts payable is holding my money and rejecting my refund. Her hands are tied. So I call back to customer service in a different state and of course they had to transfer me back to Texas Ashley's furniture but before he was kind to let me know that they are able to refund the money. So then I get put in with Cindy L she won't give me any names but I already had them. Cindy then tells me that the reason Josh Stretch can't contact me is because the system is down and she will give him my information for him to contact me. Still nothing from Josh still no refund for an item I ordered in the store that I never received or even looked at. They just kept my money. Think twice about giving these people your hard earned money. Since all this I have found fb groups of all the people they have scammed and all their nightmares that Ashley's furniture has given them.

This is the first time I've ever been to Ashley's home store and I was very pleased. I have been looking for some chaise lounges for several months and nobody seemed to have what I wanted so one day I was I'm at the mall with my grandson and I saw Ashley's HomeStore as I was leaving the parking lot and I thought I would just stop in and see what they had. I looked at quite a few Place lounges I didn't know they come in different sizes and I saw one that I liked and I took my grandson he's 9 years old back there to look at it and I showed him a few others but he happened to like the one that I had showed him. I'm not only walked out with one but with two. I got an excellent deal on it and it is now in my living room. It's big enough that if I had company I can sleep four to five people on it. I'm thinking about putting my king size bed in my living room and putting this in my bedroom LOL. I had a little loveseat before and now with my two chaise lounges I don't have to hear my grandkids say "move your feet, don't touch me, move over" LOL LOL. Science Ashley's home store.
Disaster. Ridiculous hold times. Dumpster fire. I could get through to the Pentagon calling collect on a payphone in Guam faster than I will be able to connect to ANYONE at the customer service numbers Ashley has on file. I wrote a bad review 3 weeks ago on Google. Someone emailed me concerned with my complaints. 5 replies spaced over 3 weeks, I have yet to receive a reply. Eloquence out the window, I will buy furniture from a crackhead in Freeport before I ever step foot in an Ashley Furniture Store again.

Great quality furniture but its been almost two months and we still haven't received half of it, we were supposed to get everything a few weeks ago but now the couch is on back order and we won't get it for atleast another month. Last Saturday, we were supposed to have night stands delivered but they never showed up. Service in the store was good but follow through with the delivery is just disappointing.

I went in with a general idea of what I wanted and what I needed, I dislike online shopping because I want to see what I’m purchasing. This is my first time furnishing my own residence and I couldn’t be happier with what I chose. Total cost was right in my wheel house and next step is waiting for delivery and seeing everything physically in its place. I was not rushed and was walked through the floor and shown a wide variety of options, this experience which was already a bitter sweet moment prior to my arrival was really turned into a great next step in my life. I want to thank Gail Freeman who was there with me through the whole process. Thank you for a great new experience.
I was not very happy with them at all. I came in about a month ago to get a living room set and i put my down payment and i have also been making payments and still no couches. I updated my address last week and yesterday was my delivery date and they still delivered it to the wrong address and the driver said he will still come deliver it and he never came. So i decided to cancel because it has been a huge mess. I did my part on the payments and they obviously dropped the ball. This is the store in lake jackson where the managers name is Sarah. I would not recommend anyone to them. The sad part is i was recommended by family. Crystal the financer was amazing and so was Gail my sales rep. But unfortunately i was not satisfied at all with the delivery and miscommuincation

Shopping at Ashley was so nice. Was looking for something for extra storage, Tia was so helpful. Found what I needed at a great price.
The service was excellent. KJ was very patient while we took our time looking at different pieces of furniture. He would walk away so we could talk and then come back with various suggestions. He also told us about the great deals they were offering. We will go back!

Let me start out by saying that I absolutely love Ashley Homestore’s furniture. It is beautiful and the quality is exceptional. Every employee I’ve spoken to at this location has been very friendly and they try their best to be helpful. Unfortunately, helpful just hasn’t been helpful enough in getting my furniture delivered to my home. On June 15, I placed 3 different furniture orders. It is going on nearly 2 months, and I still haven’t received 1 of my orders. This particular order is for 5 different pieces. I have received 7 different texts for notification of changes of delivery dates for this particular order with the last delivery date being this last Wed, Aug. 5. I even called the store on July 31st and verified this delivery date with the manager at this location. He verified that I should receive my furniture Aug. 5. I never received my furniture that day, and this time, I did not even receive a text that the delivery had been canceled. The multiple delivery changes and delays also happened with my other orders with the second one finally being delivered July 29. I have made multiple phone calls to check on delivery dates and options but to no avail. It has not helped at all. This has been a complete headache. If you want to buy furniture, go ahead and order from Ashley but if you want to RECEIVE the furniture within a few months, you may want to look elsewhere.

On May 19th my wife and I purchased a furniture set, we paid the full amount that same day. It didn’t take but a second for the company to deduct our money from our bank account. However it is taking them almost 3 months to deliver to us the furniture we have already paid for. It is July 17th and we are yet to see our furniture. I understand that there are some delays due to covid, but the wait we’re going through is ridiculous. The first scheduled delivery date was July 1st but if they had something earlier they would call us. May 22nd they call and left a voicemail that they will schedule us for June 20th. On June 20th we had to call the store due to no phone call or no furniture delivered, they said the date was never scheduled, we weren’t the first ones to have the same problem that day, and due to it never being scheduled the furniture we have paid for had been sold & delivered to someone else. They have rescheduled us for June 27th to July 11th to Aug 23rd! When they tried to reschedule us for Aug we went and spoke to Roy at the store who gave us some options and we decided with the best choice for us. We scheduled for our furniture once again for July 18th. On July 16th we received a text message to confirm, which we did and now today they called us to reschedule for July 22nd! At this point if we do not receive our furniture we will want our money back and gladly go to another store who won’t take this long.

Have them over a year and one of them the pain is fading a way the first week they send a tech and he painted and a mouth later it was the same ...so I paid the warranty cuz they toll me that it cover anything and now i now that they don't... If the products where good quality i dont think that will be happening may like in 5 or more years ..

Tia in Lake Jackson is simply wonderful. My husband and I couldn't decide which furniture to choose. 3 trips to the Ashey store and 3 different quotes, Tia helped us choose the right furniture for our new home. She went way beyond the everyday customer service. Tia is very helpful, kind and awesome person. Great store, great staff! Will recommend Tia and the Lake Jackson store to everyone.
I went in to buy a couch, I ended up financing a couch a really like. I was told my couch would be delivered on the 24th of June (never delivered) then I was told told the 10th of July, then August 20th. They kept pushing my date back so I went into a store only to find out the couch a orderd has been discontinued! I've been paying for something that was never coming! Horrible Business!
I don&'t know where to begin ..The only good thing about Ashley Furniture is maybe the Furniture..Once the order leaves the store and goes to the distribution center it becomes the worst experience for me everytime . EVERYTIME I have ordered something from this place it is something... I ordered a night stand and TV stand in May ..Both were supposed to be delivered on The 3rd of June..june 1st I get a call saying my nightstand is in and my tv stand is delayed..no biggie right ok so we agreed instead of partial delivery both would be delivered on the 10th of June.. Again on the 9th on June I recieved a call saying my tv stand was in and my night stand was on backorder..now mind you I was already told it was in and we were just waiting on the tv stand..i asked the lady why is my nightstand gone and she proceeds to tell me that she doesn&'t know what happened but it was sent out another order and she can&'t help me because she don&'t know what happened... Im told the nightstand should arrive by the 3rd of July..now its supposed to be delivered by the 11th of July...i have had it with this company...i have to use this store because it&'s the only affordable place in our area that does in house finance pretty much ..the only time I haven&'t had a issue with anything is when I ordered online and got it shipped to the house ..when I called customer service it was the stores problem so I had to call them ..the only person that was helpful was Crystal with Acceptance Now...she is probably the best thing about the Lake Jackson store.. if you can find a better store for Furniture i suggest you go there because this store is definitely not it..you have better luck getting Ashley Furniture from a rent to own place .. All I can say is thank God I bought all the furniture I needed so I do t ever have to go through this again with this unprofessional company..Maybe I will get my nightstand this month but who knows ...

I had a pleasant experience picking furniture out with Gail at my local store in Lake Jackson, TX on Thursday. I had to go back Friday to finish the payment. I decided to look online to see if I could find it cheaper...... The local store website has a policy that states if you find the exact furniture somewhere else cheaper, they will match the price! I find a couch and loveseat which is made by the same manufacturer and is the same item number at a different store for a much lower price, and your employees refused to match the price. The manager stated the ad had to be from a business in Texas. Your policy does not state that! The entire time I was standing at the counter speaking with the manager and the finance lady, the finance lady was looking through her cell phone that was out on the desk. I told the manager I wanted to buy the furniture today and asked repeatedly what kind of deal could he offer me and he said that he would look over the next 30 days. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! YOU DON'T WANT MY MONEY??? I am extremely unhappy! I have lived in the Brazosport are for 47 years and believe in keeping business local! But not this time! I will happily take my business and money somewhere else!
This local store does their best to be helpful, however Ashley Furniture as a company has some major flaws in their internal supply chain resulting in extreme delays in delivery. I purchased a bedroom furniture set on May 24th, and I was told that the furniture would be available starting June 6th. I had a moving truck rented for my move, so I went to their warehouse for pickup on an agreed upon date. They notified me that furniture I ordered wasn’t at the warehouse, so they told me to ask my local store for free delivery and installation, which they granted. Since then the delivery of the furniture has been rescheduled by the company three times because they didn’t have it ready, thus delaying delivery 2.5 weeks. They will not discount the furniture and have not communicated the reasons for the continuous delays. The next delivery date is June 30th, but I am not confident that the furniture will arrive then. DO NOT BUY from Ashley Furniture unless you are will to wait a long time for it. I will not be buying from them again.
Sara Longoria is incredibly rude!! Terrible representation of &"management&". Mine and my husband experience today on Fathers Day, with our kids in tow was extremely upsetting!! I ordered a couch that has been delayed serval times. I can no longer keep waiting because we have a rental that must have a couch. I went in to cancel the order. I was told by a really nice employee, &"so sorry your order has not been distributed yet. We have had so many delays, we are doing our best&". Then Sara Longoria was called over to process a refund and Sara Longoria told me very aggressively, &" no I can&'t give you a refund today because it will mess with our numbers. I can do it on Monday.&" I said, &"if I can buy something today then why can&'t I return something today?&" She said, &"ok, FINE, I&'ll do the return but you have to pay a 10% restocking fee.&" Why would I have to pay a restocking fee when the sofa hasn&'t even been distributed to the warehouse yet??!! She even called me a derogative name!! I left there shaking mad. Everyone else in the store has been nothing but wonderful. Sara Longoria should not be in a position of customer service, especially a MANAGER. I hope the corporate Ashley&'s Furniture can make this right. I have been a long standing Ashley&'s customer. Ashley&'s will continue to lose customers at this location with her in charge.

Update to my previous review: We are unfortunately having the same delivery date issues we had years ago when dealing with Ashley furniture. They will tell you an early date to get the sale, that is strictly our opinion, and then delay delay delay. This is now the third time our order has been rescheduled. Its extremely frustrating especially when you are trying to plan your life around this delivery date. We dealt with this before and were hoping it had improved however the phone representative informed me most orders are rescheduled at least 2-3 times!! That is extremely poor customer service. We won't buy from Ashley again.
From the moment we walked in I felt comfortable and welcomed. Our salesman greeted us almost immediately and helped us through many back and forth decisions on sofas and recliners. He was very knowledgeable and even after we made our purchase I had to call him for a question I thought of after the fact. Luckily he gave us his cell and he answered immediately and had an answer for me. Delivery was on time and the guys delivering were very professional and courteous. Overall so happy with our purchase and will be returning!!

This store is terrible!! I ordered furniture and paid cash in the store in order to get the "special cash" discount. The promised delivery date was 5/29 and we never even got a call saying they would not make the promised date. I needed the furniture to move into my new place and paid for it 3 weeks ago! So I decided to just get my money back. The people in the store are not authorized to give refunds. The store manger Sara is the only Ashley employee authorized to grant refunds. Who by the way doesn't work on Thursdays? She also wouldn't reveal who her supervisor was so I could file a proper complaint. This store makes promises that it can not keep. Just buy from Mattress MAC... guaranteed today delivery and anyone at the service desk can give a refund. Was also charged a 10% restocking fee! What!?! You never pulled it from stock because you don't have it!!! This store is located in Lake Jackson Texas and will most likely be closed down soon. Simply poor management, shady discounts, lack of leadership, and poor business ethics.

was in need of a couch and Emily helped us find what we were looking for. she was very informational with discount and special pricing going on. crystal helped us with our financing and finding the right price for us. both ladies were friendly and very professional.
We purchased a dining room server on November 27, 2019. We were originally told that it was on back order and that it may take three weeks for the server to come in. After five weeks, we visited the store in January and spoke with an associate. The store manager was out sick that day (or we were told that), so we left our information with the associate and we were told that the store manager would call us back, which never occurred. I left several voice mails asking for the store manager to call back and discuss. Of course, no call back. I did get a call a few days later from delivery stating that the order was now set to be delivered on March 28th. I called the store delivery today to inquire about the delivery...and now we're being told it will be April 6th. We are extremely disappointed with this store and will never purchase from Ashley again. We're giving up hope that we will receive the server.

Terrible on delivery! Box spring back order and poor Manager hospitality. i ordered three very nice bedrooms sets from the Lake Jackson store. We also picked out box springs and mattresses for all three beds. Upon purchasing all of the items we were given dates on when the furniture was to be delivered. We were okay with the dates. Our furniture was to be delivered on Friday Feb. 28th between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm the driver did not show up until 9:30 pm. the delivery guys looked tired! at that point we were told that the box-springs were on back order, What good are the beds with no box springs? and would show up on 3-10-20. - that's today -Still no furniture. I went to the store to find out what was going on. i expressed my concern that it was taking to long. The store manager "Sara "that had been their for only two weeks informed me that it had been delayed again until 3-20-20.- She didn't seem to care because she raised her voice and said that's just the way it is - and ask me to leave her store. Wow! that was a shock. i let her know that was not a problem! She lost my business if i'd known this would of happen i would have bought the Mattresses and box spring elsewhere.

My daughter moved recently to Lake Jackson and we went to Ashley's in January and ordered a sofa and TV stand. We were told that it would be delivered on Saturday, January 25th and we are already February 13th and still no furniture. Now it has been scheduled for delivery on February 22nd, let's see how true that is. I just hope that if the furniture does get delivered on the 22nd, keep our fingers crossed that it's not damaged in any way. Very disappointed with this store won't be buying anything else from them anymore.

I was greeted exceptionally well, friendly, was not pressured to buy, helpful, I felt comfortable in the store.
My first visit was great. Roy helped me out & was so friendly. The 2nd time I came to purchase a queen bed from a box, got home, it was the wrong model, had to return it & place a new order to get delivered and sent to store from warehouse in Houston. Went to pick it up a week later & the box was very small. I told the mgr. that it looked like a twin, he said it was. I told him I ordered a queen, same as the last bed I took that was the wrong type. He apologized but I had to pay an $8 difference to get my correct bed (I don't even remember why) Now here it is a week later & I try calling to get the status on my bed, call & it just rings...It's crazy that after all the mishaps with getting my bed, they don't even have the courtesy to call & let me know it's in. I'm done with this place.

So guess what Monday came and went and still no phone call I had to call back and press 3 to speak to a store associate but again nobody picked up after 10-15 min of calling and calling finally someone by the name of Jimmy Castaneda who he said was the GM but guess what he could not authorize a return because only the customer service 1-877 number can authorize a return. So I call them and they say they can not authorize a return and that I have to call the store I purchased the furniture from so they are just giving us customers the run around. Customer service for this company sucks the managers and GMs do not care about customer service at all this is the worst service I have ever received from any company I have ever purchased anything from Ashley Furniture should be very ashamed of themselves with all these bad reviews and customer service they need to retrain upper management and GMs because they are very very bad at business also check yelp reviews they have a ton of bad reviews as well. I would avoid this place! They don&'t not stand by their product. I bought a coffee table and computer desk at same time and the coffee table is starting to separate and lift. I had to call several times and send photos multiple times just for them to tell me it was not defective and it had to be due to wear and use. I&'ve only had the coffee table for 4 months! And by the way the computer desk still looks brand new despite it being used more often. So I would say go somewhere else if you&'re hoping for furniture to last more than 4 months!

If you need furniture in a timely manner, don’t go here. I recently moved across country and needed to furnish the house I bought. I needed just about everything. I’ve had Ashely furniture before and it held up nicely so I thought I would give it another try. Considering I had no furniture, my first concern was the time in which it would take to have everything delivered. I went in, picked out some things before my closing date, and asked if they could be delivered the day I close. The rep assured me that they could, but when I went in to go pay everything off, they told me that they couldn’t deliver it until 5 days after the date I needed. Ok...I could deal with that. Well the day comes for the delivery, and they show up with less than half of what I bought. Not only that, some of what I did get was damaged so they had to take it back. 3 of the 6 dining room chairs had every bolt completely stripped out, my daughters head board for her bed had a chunk broke off the corner, and the dresser drawer for my dresser was broke. I called customer service to see where the rest of my furniture was, and when we could get the damaged items replaced. They informed me that some was on back order, some was on a different truck and so on. My husband and I both took a day off of work the day the furniture was supposed to be delivered to assure everything was good. Now we have to take multiple days off, and my daughter still has no bed. The rep on the phone refused to assist me in any way until the conversation got heated and I asked to speak to a supervisor. At that time she said “they will tell you the same thing I am but hold on!” She was a little more willing to help when she got back on the phone but never connected me to a supervisor. I called the local store to see why there was never any communication in regards to the multiple delivery dates, or why so many things were damaged. I ended up having to cancel some items as the dates were too far out, and my daughter is still out of a bed for another two weeks. Never again will I shop here. They are supposedly sending me a check for the delivery fee which was discussed prior to all of this and $200 for all the mess, but it took a long while and multiple conversations to get that. Needless to say, they are difficult to work with and their communication sucks to say the least. Update on this: I have finally received all my furniture, which took over a month from the original promised date. I’ve had to return/exchange some things here and there due to them being damaged either upon delivery or faulty products in general. I was working with a very nice lady who has promised me some compensation for all this. It all sounded good before everything was finalized, but from the sounds of it, they are not going to help. During the initial transition from the very first visit to the store, part of the negotiations were that they were going to credit me back the delivery fee. Keep in mind, this was promised with the over all price, not something they were going to give me for all of this inconvenience. Now they are trying to say that the store gave this to me for all the trouble and they are not sure if they can allow anything else to be credited. After having to take off many days of work for all this to be delivered, rescheduling Christmas at someone else’s house, and not being able to return everything and just get my money back, now I’m dealing with this. I’m not asking for a lot, but what was negotiated at the time of sale, has nothing to do with all of the issues that have happened since. Lord knows if I could of predicted the future, I would of went somewhere else for sure. I’m asking them now to please make this right. Everything seem to go wrong with this, at least compensate your customer with something more than this. Hopefully when this is all said and done, I can walk away without a bad taste in my mouth and not regret so much that I entered that store. Just make it right.

Purchased 25k worth of furniture from Ashley in June of 2018 after Hurricane Harvey. Ashley warranty runs out after a year. We were told to purchase the Montage warranty that it would cover everything else up to 5 years. Guess what, it has only been a year and a half now. Montage does not cover staples coming out the furniture, backing coming off the couch, cushions splitting at the seams. The warranty is a joke! Shame on you Ashley furniture for taking advantage of people who have been flooded out of their house and lost everything.

Avoid this company. I am now having to wait on a call for the fourth time to fix faulty product they delivered and set up. Every time they tell me someone will call between 24-48 hours and they NEVER do. They hand it over to a third party and they never call. They tell me there in nothing Ashley furniture and do and it's rinse and repeat. They won't even give me a number to call the third party? It's been a month and "there is nothing they can do" but they sure are spot on with sending me a bill.
If you buy from Ashley's, their third party 'white glove' delivery service is terrible. They will be late, no phone calls, very unprofessional! Ashley Homestore is done with you after the sale, they could care less.
We recently got a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture in Lake Jackson Texas. Right after delivery and set up occurred and we began putting clothes away we noticed that a drawer did not open all the way in the storage under the bed. Not sure why the delivery and set up men would have left without checking? We proceeded to call within 10 minutes after they left to the customer service department at the Lake Jackson location. We were asked to take a pic, email it to them, and we would hear from a technician within 24-48 hours to come out and take a look. No phone call, email, nothing. We were unable to get back ahold of customer service to follow up. Tried to call our sales rep who graciously gave us her number to ask for help, left 2 messages, no response. Tried calling Ashley in Lake Jackson customer service number again, multiple times and was put on hold and then disconnected every time. Our experience has been very disappointing and we still have a drawer unable to open.

Been paying on an ordered bed for 2 months they delivered the wrong bed & now say they dont have the bed. Bad customer service will never try to buy from them again. Now its bs to even get the money we paid for something we never got..😡😡😡
This was the worst furniture experience I have ever seen. We went with my son and his wife who were purchasing an entire houseful of furniture. They were promised 60 month same as cash, zero down, next day, free delivery...the works. After completing the purchase all of the terms suddenly changed. Instead of 60 month same as cash, it changed to 5% back but 20% interest with $2000 down. The free delivery suddenly cost $500 and was several weeks out. They said we could drive to North Houston and pick it up immediately so the next morning we rented a u haul and went to get it and after the driving and cost of the uhaul the furniture isn&'t ready and won&'t be until next week. They want to charge a 10% restocking fee to cancel the order that isn&'t ready and we are out of the cost of a uhaul. We will NEVER do business with Ashley again and definitely don&'t recommend anyone else use them either.

The manager was very helpful and introduced himself to me. I was looking for a new dining set and was not sure what I wanted or was looking for, but he helped me look through all the available options. Helped me find what not only best suited my home, but also my budget. I was very pleased with the service and management.
Don’t waste your time with Ashley furniture. We bought our furniture almost 2 months ago and our coffee and end table delivery has been rescheduled 3 different times now. I receive a call this morning saying the end table didn’t make it to the warehouse (After being back ordered 3 different times) but the coffee table is on the truck so they’ll have to deliver the end table next week. Get home to meet the delivery driver and the coffee table is broken and they have to send it back. This whole process has been ridiculous.
Do not buy from Ashley Furniture, very poor quality. Had couch for 3 weeks, broke in 3 places. Sent a technician to repair and they cannot repair it. Now after 3 weeks of waiting they want to pick it up in 2 weeks and take to warehouse to repair for another 2 weeks 6+ weeks and no couch.
Excellent customer service in store, but good luck trying to get a hold of them over the phone! I’ve been trying to call them the past few days to pay off something I had on layaway. I live 45minutes away, I shouldn’t have to get in the dang car every time I need to deal with your specific store. I am automatically on hold and still have not spoken to a human. Fix this! My fiancé and I walked in knowing exactly which mattress we wanted. We&'d both slept on it multiple times (it&'s what I have at my house) and knew that we both found it comfortable. A salesperson directed us toward a product that was 3X the price of what we knew we could afford, claiming that my fiancé (6&'5&" and solidly built) would break down the mattress we had intended to purchase. Fast forward a month later, and the $1,200 mattress is incredibly uncomfortable and BREAKING DOWN. When I called, the salesperson informed me that we were outside of our 30 day window (which we were unaware we had signed paperwork for) and that she would be unable to approve a return. I called back a few days later, wondering if someone else would be able to approve a return since she had specified that she could not. The same woman answered, and I explained the situation again, asked to speak to someone higher up. She was very snippy with me, and did not transfer me to anyone who might actually be able to help me, saying &"well I could and he&'ll just refuse your request too.&"I chose the email route to continue pursuing this, and have not heard back from anyone after two emails. But we did receive two phone calls regarding our payment plan that hadn&'t been set up. I&'m not sure how they expected us to set that up when they hadn&'t given us any information on how to do that. We have an entire house to furnish and I can guarantee that we will not be making any of those purchases at Ashley. It isn&'t even the mattress itself that&'s the overaissue anymore; it&'s the complete lack of care for customer satisfaction. I am very motivated to be a loyal customer when treated well, and unfortunately we have not been treated well. UPDATE: still have received ZERO help, even though a tech came out and said that YES there is breakage on this mattress. Apparently it&'s &"not enough&" breakage to warrant any sort of action by Ashley. Sorry, but two inches of breakage inside of the mattress is pretty significant to the people sleeping on it.

Extremely pushy and lost my business because of it. Told the sales manager that I wanted to look at the other furniture stores around the area before deciding on a big purchase and they instantly started trash talking the other competitors.
My husband & I walked into Ashley & was immediately greeted by Tia Moore ! She was spunky , super informative & listened to our wants & needs in looking at & purchasing a new mattress ! She misinformed us on a special that was being run but talked to her manager & was able to still get us $$ off of our purchase ! I would highly recommend going in & talking to Tia , or any of her co-workers for that matter , for your next home furniture purchase !

I just recently bought furniture from here and the lady that took care of us was friendly and helpful! I enjoyed shopping here and the atmosphere was nice. However we have been experiencing the lack of having all the furniture delivered on time. I have had 2 pieces that keep getting rescheduled because of one issue or another and one of the most important pieces was the bed rails to my daughters bed. So obviously my daughter is still on the couch. I understand how business works, delays and just dealing with lazy employees sometimes. However telling your customers that you don&'t know when they will be able to expect a piece of furniture is just bad business. Needless to say unless this takes a BIG change in direction I will never buy from this furniture place again. I have bought from a few furniture places before including Rooms to Go which I had no problems at all with and local vendors before. I think that&'s probably the best way to go, Local vendors, well They always have your stuff ready and our grateful for the business. They never seem to have the problem these big business do!

It isn't even the mattress itself that's the overarching issue anymore; it's the complete lack of care for customer satisfaction. I am very motivated to be a loyal customer when treated well, and unfortunately we have not been treated well.
Tia Moore helped us find the perfect sectional for our living room today, she did a great job and has amazing customer service!! I will be back for all of my future furniture purchases.

I went in looking for a sofa set and Mrs Gail and Mrs Crystal were extremely helping and very informative.
I have received 4 tables and each one has been damaged. No one bothers to take the time to call me back and when you call this store you get a call center and nothing is ever resolved. I have been to the store several times and still this issue is not resolved. How many times will I receive a damaged product? At this point I want my money back but no one will help me. I'm beyond frustrated! Customer service is a joke! I would never purchase another item here ever again!
Nice furniture good service
We bought a couch set from this location and when it was delivered it was missing a component. We called customer service and were supposed to have the component mailed to us. After 2 weeks we still hadn&'t gotten the component so we called again and were told that we would get a phone call back which never happened. Now we are on our 4th phone call unreturned and an actual visit to the store. The manager was very dismissive and even acted like he was scolding me. I have never felt more unwelcome in an Ashley store before and we will definitely reconsider before we return.
I had an amazing experience! Natalie was my salesperson, and she was so friendly and helpful! I feel like I was helped by everyone in the store, including the general manager. As a manager in the service industry, I know what teamwork and happy employees look like...you ALL are doing a fantastic job! If I could give you 10 stars for my experience, I would!
Nice selection and nice sales people but prices could be a little more reasonable but that how furniture buying is, a little to pricey for what you get or want.

Price was good on the table we bought about two years ago. Quality was also satisfactory. The only problem was with delivery. Wasted my day waiting for a delivery in a window that was pushed back. The store gave the typical response of &"we don&'t control delivery&" if you don&'t live in Houston or very close to it, be prepared to waste your day waiting for delivery.

Disappointed with customer service. I made 2 purchase back in May I received the first purchase, which was a bed, to my surprise 1 recliner that goes to my sectional also arrived. I asked the guys why is there a recliner being delivered (only 1) and ofcourse they are only the delivery guys so they had no clue. My sectional was scheduled to arrive almost a whole month later, that should have made me want to cancel the order but I didn't. So finally the date of arrival was here, I was scheduled for 3:15-6:15 they did not arrive until 7:30 PM. Once it was all set up I realized that I was missing a armless chair then as I was looking at my brand new couches I also noticed my chase and a armless chair had a tear. I called customer service and the lady that took my call was not too knowledgeable and she was rude, she was telling me that I needed to refuse my order I told her how we've been waiting for our sectional for almost a month. She continued to tell me what I needed to do, I asked for a supervisor she refused at first then she put her even more rude supervisor on the phone (Harley from New Braunfels). Harley said I only got 2 options to refuse my order or cancel my hole order and there is no other option. I tried to explain to Harley how I had never encountered this issue and how I have always been a customer, I asked her does that even matter to you? She continued to tell me that it didn't and I could only do 1 of the the options (very rudely in a extremely forceful tone) I asked her for name and then I asked for her supervisors name her response was I am the highest point of contact I'm in corporate. I also told her that we (family of 7) could no longer continue to wait, after all we had already waited about a month. She suggested I just cancel my order, I asked her what can she do for such inconvenience now I have to wait longer she said MA'AM THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO YOU CAN JUST CANCEL. I advised her that I was going to write a review and she said you go on ahead. So I am going to be spreading the word about not going to Ashley's Furniture for ANYTHING. My family and friends will be advised of this issue.

Spent over $4000 here and I feel like I was lied too! The sales woman told us our items would arrive in a couple weeks so everything could come in at once. I was already alittle aggravated that it would take that long to get to us, then to get a call on the delivery date saying our delivery has to be pushed back another week because items arnt available yet! Here's what I would LOVE to know since I know it's not a store level problem but a warehouse problem. 1. Why have your staff ASSURE the customer that their items WILL arrive on a certain day just to have it possibly pushed back farther out? 2. Since theres clearly a communication issue about inventory between your warehouse and store why isnt this being taken care of and why are you putting it on the customer to jus "deal with it"? ( I understand if another customer bought the same item before another they obviously get that item before that person) I do love the quality of the furniture but after this I will drive the hour and a half to the "other store" that gave us amazing customer service, quality of furniture, no pressure, and SAME DAY DELIVERY!!!!
Posting for my father. He bought an electric over stuffed leather chair a little over a year ago. A couple months back the hinges broke and was causing the chair to lean back constantly. While looking at it he found his paperwork on the chair showing it was still under warranty but only for a week longer. He then attempted calling the store for a few days as well as leflving multiple voicemails while finally having to go in the store. Only reason he didn't go in sooner was because he was out of town working. At this point he was informed his warranty had been out for two days. The manager at the store said they would still do the warranty and would call him back with the information. Having not received a call he started calling again while after several attempts spoke to a very rude lady who informed him that his warranty was out and nothing could be done. He explained what the manager had said but even that made no difference. Finally, he hung up disgusted at how he was handled with nothing to show for his actions.
The store was clean a d decorated nicely. I was there with family who were purchasing a bedroom and living room suites.
God has blessed us with a new great invitation to have local friendly business and the best service all and everyone on this team goes above and beyond the call of duty I'm so grateful for Ashley in lake Jackson .
I went to other furniture places around my area and man I am so glad I came to Ashley furniture. They have great deals and great service. I told them what I wanted and turns out they had all these discounts and all. Very pleased!
Juan did an excellent job on assisting me with purchase of my new recliner. He listened to my requirements, made a few suggestions and then provided the options available to me product wise. I'm very satisfied with my experience. I will recommend this young man to all my friends.

I came in to look at furniture with my husband not too long ago. I have a Rent a Center account already and they told me they had locations inside Ashley so I figured I would take a look. While looking around I headed in the direction they told me the Rent A Center office was. Upon walking up there was a young kid inside, I asked him a barrage of questions pertaining to my account I already had elsewhere and if I could use it here and he answered them respectfully and easily. Told me it wouldnt be an issue, explained their policies and how they might be different and he could do it today if I wanted to have a salesperson help me make some selections. I thanked him and my husband and I went around looking at some stuff we liked. We went back home to discuss everything. After returning I was alone and went to walk towards the back office, however there was a woman in the office with him. She was yelling so loud I could hear her before I passed the counter area. Just screaming at the top of her lungs, and as I walked up closer, I realized it was at this poor kid who was slumped in his chair almost in tears as her finger was inches from his face as she yelled how bad of an employee he was and curses at him. Who in their right mind would treat not their employee but a person like that?! After seeing that, I turned around and walked out, if Ashley Furniture condones anyone, or any company who treats people like that I wont be shopping there and spending my money. That woman shouldn't be allowed anywhere near people. Good riddance.

The Lake Jackson store is new in this area. My first time to visit it and was very impressed with the furniture as well as the employees. Very friendly and helpful personnel.

We just purchased a new bed frame from Ashley Homestore. As soon as we walked in a nice sales guy stopped us to tell us about the President's day sales, and informed us where the frames were, then gave my wife a bottle of water. Very nice, but it seemed like he never took his eye off us, and kept checking on us to see if we had any questions. This was not a problem because he was very helpful and we knew it was his job. I believe his name was Juan, so look him up and he will take care of you and your questions. So why the four stars and not five?? Well, simply because of the prices. They have quality furniture as I can tell, and we love our new bed. But it took us a couple days to buy this one, because we found another one we wanted at a different furniture store. The price was a little more than $200 cheaper at the "other" store, but after all said and done I feel like you get what you pay for, so we went with the one here at Lake Jackson Ashley Homestore, that my wife first fell in love with. One more thing, most of the furniture in the store has to be delivered from Houston and straight to your home. I wanted to load it up in my truck and take it home to save the (somewhere around $120), but this is not an option. So we spent more than $300 (than we would have at the other location), but none the less the installers came in after 5 on a Friday and were very fast with the install, and took away (most) of the trash. Overall we would shop here again.

The store was clean and well lit, and the staff was knowledgeable and engaged. We were helped by a guy named Darian Baker, and he immediately opened up to us like we were old friends. He was clear and honest about the pros and cons of his various products and services, and we managed to have fun in the process of buying 2 recliners. 10/10, actually got a fist bump leaving the store.

Juan was our salesperson and was very polite and respectful. He introduced himself and let up know about the Presidents Day sale then let us be. When we made up our minds to purchase I got him (not just someone else who works there) to finalize the purchase. He asked us if we wanted a bottle of water and was just an all out great person. The only thing that sucks is that it will be a month before we get our furniture. This was due to some of the pieces not being readily available. Either way Juan did a fantastic job.

I am not sure where to start. Some people who work here are very helpful with finding you what you need and offer ways to get it if you need financing. Ricky at the front desk is rude and doesn’t make much effort in getting things together properly, unprofessional. Jaun Rodriguez was helpful. I will change my review once I get compensated for the time I lost along with my furniture never being delivered.

Isabel was sweet, patient, courteous, and funny. She didn’t pressure us, and helped make sure we made the proper furniture choice. She then made sure we knew all our finance options. Everyone we talked to was respectful and helpful, and nobody made us feel uneasy or pressured. I’m sorry I don’t remember Isabels sales managers name, but she was very professional and sweet as well. I would highly recommend anyone to take the time to just window shop Ashley Furniture in Lake Jackson, let alone purchase new furniture as the quality of the products was very satisfying. Another thing that sometimes gets overlooked, or not mentioned, is how well dressed and professional-looking everyone was. Very impressive. Had to add to this post because it wouldn’t let me write another review for some reason. Went back to AshleyFurniture and was assisted by Tia Moore. We had a great conversation and laughed a lot. She helped me purchase a tv stand and change my center piece to match it. Another great experience!

Do not go with their in house financing called Acceptance Now, they constantly call and harass us at night and on holidays even on the due date of the payment. They will come to your house in a Rent A Center van which also deals with Acceptance Now and threaten to take the merchandise when two weeks behind when paying for it (not renting). Don't finance through them, you'll end up paying for it three fold later. Look them up with the BBB, they have harassment lawsuits against them. Things were fine in the store but the moment you have a family crisis and can't pay immediately, that's when the harassment starts.
