I had found a dining set online, I called to see if it was available in store. Isiah Freeman was the gentleman I spoke to. He was very friendly and helpful. Although we decided to have it delivered doorstep, he got everything set up for me online. Also called to make sure I was able to get the payment set up. He was very nice. Look forward to working with him again in the future if we need to add to our home.

As an Ashley myself, I can confidently say that this store has the best Ashleys both in name and in customer service! But let’s be real, the real star of Ashley’s Furniture is Noah. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, but he somehow makes furniture shopping feel like an adventure rather than a chore. He’s patient, kind, and has the magical ability to know exactly what you need before you do (seriously, is he a mind reader?). If you’re lucky enough to be helped by Noah, prepare to have all your furniture dreams come true with a side of top-tier charm and customer service. 10/10, would buy a whole house worth of furniture just to have another excuse to talk to him!

I rarely leave negative reviews. But, buyer beware!!! We purchased our furniture early June 2024 for delivery around August 13, 2024. The sales rep, Manny calls my husband and I and informs us that they only had one piece of our order in and did not have the other two pieces. We wanted to receive the entire order together. So, the order gets pushed and Manny informs us that we will receive the order end of August. Now, I have to cancel my birthday dinner due to not having our furniture. End of August rolls in and Manny calls and informs us that our order will now arrive September 10th. We don’t make a fuss, and agree to receive the furniture on the 10th. We ask if there’s anything else that we need to do to “ensure that the furniture arrive as promised”. Manny states no, that all is well. We received a text/call later on indicating that the furniture will arrive on the 10th to be present. Mind you, this company did not give any issues when taking our money. A few days prior to the 10th. We called Manny and he dodged our calls. After receiving a text from me about contacting the BBB, he calls us back and informs us that unless we canceled the delivery, we should receive our furniture as agreed on September 10th and that he would reach out the folks that are delivering the furniture. On the 10th, when we did not hear from Manny, we called the store and he states that it’s our fault because we did not confirm for the delivery, “like how when you go to schedule a visit with the dentist and confirm an appointment”. What in the world? The dentist does not get paid until he renders service. He now changes the delivery to Wednesday September 18th. I’ve had to cancel numerous meetings, guests, and birthday parties that were scheduled to be held at my home because of this stores inadequacies. They only care about making money. Save yourself the headache, and buy your furniture elsewhere. Believe your family members, friends, and the warnings you read online. This is not a good company to do business with!

My husband I purchased a few different pieces of furniture a couple weeks ago. We had a good experience in store, but everything after the purchase just keeps going downhill and has been terrible. We were told all the couch and bedroom set furniture would be delivered all together, but that hasn’t been the case. I get that the past couldn’t of years have been crazy and long wait times for delivery can’t always be helped, but the quality of the delivery service and after purchase customer service needs some major work. The delivery guys showed up to our house with every piece of our bed frame except the headboard and we were told they couldn’t put it together until the headboard was delivered at an unknown later date. The bed frame was left in pieces all over the place in our bedroom to just figure out where to put until the rest could be delivered. It was not communicated at all that the entire bed would not be delivered. So now we are still sleeping on a mattress on the floor due to extremely bad communication on when we would receive the bed frame. We honestly would have purchased elsewhere if we hadn’t been told it was going to be delivered. We tried calling the salesman who we purchased everything from and were told that he would look into the situation and get back to us, but we were blown off and never got a call back. Once we just contacted customer service on our own we were told that the bed frame order was not placed correctly in the first place, which was the cause for everything being delivered in pieces. Our other issue with the delivery service was the fact that the couch was put together and just left in our living room in front of our back door and in a crazy position after my husband asked if they could place the couch in a certain spot in the living room when putting it together. I was always told that when you pay for delivery it was supposed to be put together and placed in the spot desired due to the bulk ones/heaviness of the items. My husband had to ask twice for the employee’s to fix where they were just leaving the couch because we couldn’t even open our back door at all with it being directly in front of it, and I physically couldn’t help him move the entire couch due to just having a baby recently. Finally, we were told that the tv stand we ordered would be delivered the same day as the rest of our furniture by the salesman. Apparently it was actually going to be months before we are going to receive it after getting a call from customer service and were told that the salesman should have told us it was going to be a while. It has just been an overall terrible after purchase experience so far. It seems like Everything is great and promises are made when in store with the salesman’s but the follow through of the good customer service/delivery experience is severely lacking. I won’t be purchasing from Ashley again in the future.

First let me say, I never write reviews no matter how bad or great the service is but I had to for this. The store associate I initially worked with, Ladarius, was awesome when assisting me with picking out the furniture, he never tried to talk me into buying and when I did decide to purchase he was great at getting the best price for me. Now the bad part is the customer service when calling the 800 number. I was contacted and advised to call back and schedule the delivery of part of my order for 7/28. Called back and got a different date for 9/1, which would’ve been fine had they not called and gave me a different date originally. I called “customer service” and chatted with them online over two days and then was given another date of 8/23. I asked multiple times to speak with a supervisor on my last call and the rep kept trying to offer me different things like a percentage off the product. At that point I didn’t want it, so I asked if the order could be cancelled if they were not going to deliver it on 7/28 and he advised yes with management permission. I stated before he cancelled it I wanted to hear that from a supervisor. This man proceeds to cancel the order first before I confirmed it and then transfers me to a “supervisor” Dominque who basically lied and said she heard me confirm to cancel because conveniently she sat behind the rep. How when she wasn’t on the phone so she had no idea what I said to him and I could tell she only wanted to get me off the phone because she continued to talk over me until I told her to let me speak. Then they can’t send a confirmation of the cancelled order and when I called the store and spoke with Jorge he was not very helpful and seemed bothered with me contacting the store and also stated he could not provide anything saying I cancelled besides verbally. So if they decide to charge me for furniture I never received how do I show proof of a cancelled order? It’s totally ridiculous. Even after reading negative reviews of Ashley I still decided to shop with them (big mistake) because I liked the quality of the products they offered. With all this said I truly understand shipping delays and issues and would’ve had no problem had I not been contacted first and given information only to call and be told something completely different and my account not be noted with any of the information I had been given. This in my opinion is terrible customer service and reflects poorly on their company as it seems nobody communicates between one another to make sure they are providing an acceptable customer experience. I will never make another purchase with Ashley. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to them either.

We ordered a sectional the first week of October 2021. While reading the paperwork we saw a disclaimer stating that our order could potentially take 12-16 weeks to be delivered due to the impacts of covid. After reading that, I said that I would not sign the paperwork if that meant I would be liable for the 10% restocking fee should they fail to meet that delivery timeframe. I was willing to wait 4 months, but anything longer than that and we were going to pass. Here we are in February and the automated system says our order should be available for delivery in 9 to 11 weeks. Every time we speak to a store employee they give us an earlier eta, which never comes to fruition. They just continue to push the eta back every time the expected delivery date comes and goes. I should mention that we have to call the store because our sales rep will not answer our calls or texts. No updates ever, despite the fact they are supposed to follow up and provide an update every 2 weeks or so. Apparently he fell off the face of the planet. After over 4 months of being ignored and then getting the run around from other employees who had no involvement with our purchase, I called to cancel our order. They offered a 10% discount to save the sale and gave us a delivery date sometime in March. I accepted with the condition that if our order got delayed again (for like the 5th time) I would be cancelling my order. They said that they would have to send a check. Instead, they sent the refund directly to our checking account. That would have been nice if they actually refunded us the 10%. Instead, they refunded us $200 with out any explanation why. Not including taxes, the refund should have been around $320. I highly recommend not wasting your time with this company. It’s one thing to have to wait a while for your order, it’s another thing to deal with this. The big selling point was that Ashley is one of the largest furniture stores which means they are able to get inventory a lot faster than other furniture stores. This place has no integrity. Don’t make promises you can’t keep. We were planning on purchasing 2 bedroom sets this year (2022). We will be bringing our business elsewhere.

Worst furniture experience we have had!! We have bought from Ashely before (not the Lubbock location thank goodness) and had success with actually getting the furniture and being able to do a successful refund. We bought a loveseat on 3/30/21, as of today, 6/18/21, we do not have the loveseat. (The reason this specific loveseat is so important is because I have extremely bad back problems and need a recliner to sleep in). We are pretty reasonable people so when we purchased the loveseat, in full, no financing, for $1500, we signed the paperwork stating we understood it could take 2-6 weeks for our product and there is a return policy that you will only receive 75% of your money back and it will be in store credit. Week 4 got here, we had not heard anything so we went down to the store to get an update because we could not get through on the store line to speak to anyone and we would be moving in a few weeks. The girl at the front counter informed us it was to be there at the end of that week. Perfect! Week 5 got here, no word. My husband calls and sits on hold for over 30 minutes and has to hang up before speaking to someone. He has to wait a couple days to call back, sits on hold for 22 minutes before speaking with someone. We are now informed it will be there at the end of the next week. We aren't the happiest, but we get things don't always happen on time. Week 7 gets here, no word from Ashely. We give a little more time because we are trying to be reasonable. Week 8, still no word!! It was a pretty big store, there were A LOT of employees the day we were in and we even purchased our loveseat from a manager...I figure someone could have taken 5 minutes out of their day to notify us of something...anything...,but nothing. They already got our money and have us in an agreement to make sure we don't ask for it back. My husband calls again, twice again because he can't get through... We are told another frame. My husband asks to speak to a manager and was told they were all in a meeting and weren't available. **At this point we live 5 hours away so we can't just go down there and my husband works 6 days week. The purchase is in his name** Week 9...we still have not heard from them. My husband calls again. We are once again informed that the loveseat still has not made it because it is coming from California...we are in West Texas- at this point I could have pulled the loveseat on a wagon while walking back from California. So we are given another date for the next week and there still is no manager. Week 11...no word!!! My husband calls He asks to speak to a manager, the person on the phone informed him he is the manager. Perfect! The manager informed us the loveseat should be here in the middle of June (it was the 9th already...do you mean the 15th because that is the middle of June, in 6 days!). He also informes us, once again, that the loveseat is coming from California. Again, what is the method of transportation from CA to TX, a pack mule?! The manager at this point said he would give be us a refund (not sure if it is the 75% or 100% because it is a moot point), but my husband has to be there in person. Again, we no longer live there and my husband has one day off and we only bought from that location because the time frame we were giving and is printed on the receipt was plenty of time to get this. My husband asked if a week from this time (which would have been Wed, 6/16) if he could receive a call with an update. The manager pleasantly agreed and asked what time he would like the call, took down all the info etc... Week 12...6/16 came...no call!! At no point in any of this has one single person reached out to update us and the only info we get is "it is coming from California". We were told this past time that "we go based on the info we get from the manufacturer"...well, I didn't get my loveseat from the manufacturer, I purchased it from Ashely where I received a timeline of 2-6 weeks with no other info!!!

I placed an order on 3/19/21 to receive a cocktail table and a table and chairs. The salesperson was fairly new who helped me (had been working 2 weeks). Be careful when you are touring the floor and “read” the signs, because how the pieces are set up, is NOT always what you get. The table was paired with a stool and two regular chairs. I was assured that the table would have a second stool, (in which it did). However, I essentially thought this was going to include all 5 pieces that I was looking at (table, 2 stools, 2 chairs). I called once I got home and was checking out my receipt a bit better; which is pretty incredible in itself that I reached someone at the store! That was when they informed me that the table would only be with the two stools, so I went ahead and bought the other two (like I had seen in the display room) for an additional $160. I take responsibility for not double/triple checking my order but it was a little misleading! Today, May 3rd, I got my delivery! This is after going in twice to check on when my order was going to be delivered. On the 1st, I got the call confirmation & text letting me know that my time frame would be today from 1:30-4:30pm. I work in home health; I set my own schedule to an extent, so luckily I worked around visits enough that I figured I could make this time work without rescheduling everyone! Well, I get a call a little after 11 stating that they’ll be here in 30-45min, again, completely rearranging what I had planned for. I mean it seemed to me like you either confirm and get your delivery or don’t and wait, for who knows how much longer. They got my table set up and left remnants of trash behind. The cocktail table was already set up. It was then that I noticed the shelves appeared crooked. The delivery man informed me that they “leave the shelves inside so that the customer’s can position them at their preference of height.” I’m paraphrasing here but I went ahead and started getting the shelves out, once they had left. It was then that I realized the brackets were not inside or anywhere! Well, you know how it goes when calling.... I didn’t get anywhere so I figured it would likely be quicker running up to the store. There was a couple of other customers at the desk who displayed their frustration about long delivery times and a refund(?). Anyways, after the people at the desk contacted customer service and a wait of 40-45min, I spoke directly to a representative who will be sending out my brackets for the coffee table. He even stated that he could tell from the picture that the shelf appeared “lopsided.” I do like my furniture but the hassle/lack of professionalism, isn’t worth your time or money.

Wow. Just disappointed beyond belief. We placed an order for a sofa set and more in January 2021 we have now currently paid our second payment on a furniture set that we do not have. We have called nurmerous times since January regarding our delivery. At time of purchase we were told our merchandise would be here two to three weeks by the salesman, when those three weeks were over we contacted Ashley's Furniture they gave us the date of February 18th for delivery. When that delivery fell through we called February 19th to find out what happened they told us something about the items not being prepared. Then they scheduled us for March 2nd that day also fell through we talked to someone regarding that and spoke to a supervisor that guaranteed us delivery for March 4th. My wife spoke with Daniela regarding that delivery that fell through and she guaranteed us after we explained to her the serious need of our furniture now that it would be delivered Saturday March 6th. We received a phone call on Friday March 5th that we would have our delivery schedule between 1 and 3 p.m. on March 6th. It is now 7p.m. March 6th my wife just got off the phone with Adriana as she informed her that our delivery got cancelled due to a glitch in the system. I am very concerned because when we asked them on February 19th if we could cancel the order they wanted to charge restocking fee of 25% charge which was ridiculous after all the trouble we had already been through. We did call during the Texas winter storm and asked to speak to a manager but they told us that we could not get in contact with her by email or by leaving a voicemail and that we would need to leave a message for her to call back because she hadn't made it into the office due to the storm. I left my contact information and never received a call. Now we are told that our delivery will not be until Monday morning March 8th. I understand that things happen and we have been as patient as possible but today has Proven the little consideration and low level of kindness and unprofessionalism Ashleys Furniture has for their customers but even more so a disabled family who has asked already for the reasonable accomodation to have us pick up the furniture ourselves, so we could have a place for family to sleep while here taking care of my wife who is recently disabled. I offered to do it but we were told due to COVID we cant go to the warehouse but they would put us down on the schedule for Saturday March 6th yet failed to deliver even after a confirmed call that they would be here by 3pm from the delivery team. We understand it isn't Ashleys concern for our situation but this is truly bad business and unprofessional. After spending over 13k in our past, and the 8k recently, we will look somewhere else going forward for our funriture needs.

Sales rep didn't really know what he was talking about I got approved for queen bed room set and living room set !! I'm so excited and low monthly payment !!!! Black friday sale. Nov 28 2020 Sorry for that review still haven't gotten my furniture all lies staff there completely rude they don't answer their phones I made a horrible mistake going there !! I was told 2 weeks back in November now End of January I don't know about that place . Jan19 had to cancel my furniture except for my couch the bank that approved me lied to me about the payment plan they 1st said 2 year contract in which they blamed Ashely furniture they knew texas stores only do 1 year contract my payments went to 220 every other week and they lied. They were going to do automatic bank draft w/o my permission they never asked me to do this. Again they said Ashley's furniture staff should have told you this well they didn't . So I cancelled it just kept my couch plus if I didn't they told me they were going to charge me 650$ restock fee of 25% of total balance 2595.00 Wow!!!! I would have to pay this I feel like I was forced into this any legal advice for me . If you apply through fortiva bank or acima be very careful before you sign I was lied to in my face. I specifically told them, "I do not want automatic bank draft" they said no problem . My payments were supposed to be about 140 a month for 2 years I would pay myself . I'm glad I called acima bank I found out I would have paid total 5350 in 1 year of 2595.00 total Really.... y'all suck !! This really happened read your stuff ask lots of questions especially the bank don't sign nothing !! Tell your salesman to be HONEST!!! That counts!!! 03/15/ 21 Still no furniture I'm probably going to cance Sandy . Never been back never will again they still have bad reputation and rude unprofessional people don't know their jobs . BUYER BEWARE! I’m not a guy that leaves a ton of reviews. Something must be exceptional or terrible. Unfortunately this is an example of the latter. Don’t know why we didn’t shop around before we bought but shame on us. Initially the folks at Ashley’s were great. We bought around $12,000 worth of furniture. The delivery time was promised between 2-6 weeks. After 3 weeks we received one piece of furniture leaving about 7 pieces to come. We were never called. So after 7 weeks we attempted to call customer service. 30 people in line ahead of me. After 30 minutes I was disconnected. Called the store directly. She was going to connect me to customer service again. I explained what had just happened and that I’d prefer to speak with a store manager. She stated there are no mangers at the store. Only sales managers at store level and they don’t address after sale issues. Now, I had received a statement to begin payments. I explained to the young lady that I didn’t plan on beginning payments when 90% of my furniture has not been delivered. She literally told me “I don’t care, I guess that’s your choice “. So at this point I decided making a store visit was my only option. Two folks working the front desk and all they could do was call customer service for us. After 30 minutes she was cut off. Called again and was able to speak to someone. Our furniture was not going to be delivered for another 6 weeks. As before, no one was able to connect me to someone with whom I could address my issues. I was put on a list for call back. That’s been 2 weeks ago. Needless to say I haven’t spoken with anyone. I have called customer service several times with the same result. Went to the store again to just cancel the rest of the order. 25% restocking fee would be assessed. Have since found out Bob Mills has the same furniture and it’s in stock. No waiting! Don’t buy here before you check other alternatives.

I would literally give no stars for this company. I’ve been waiting 5 weeks for my bedroom furniture which I was told 2-6 weeks so that’s not the problem. However my furniture was supposed to be delivered today, as I had spoken to someone days ago when I called to check in, I wasn’t notified my furniture had even been delivered, I found out when I called personally. Now that the delivery day is here, I called to find out a time, because again, no one called me. Only to find out my delivery had been pushed til Tuesday. After finding out 3 different reasons, I was told it was because I needed to sign a paper. They told me nothing of this days ago, nor weeks ago. Since I thought I was getting my furniture today, I moved everything out of my bedroom, and now have to sleep on the couch because of the inconvenience. I spoke to the manager and customer service and since they only load the trucks in the morning, I’m forced to wait. Instead of pushing my order ahead to ASAP they have a 2 day notice they go by making me wait until a couple of days. Absolutely ridiculous. UPDATE: Its been a year or so and I am having issues with my headboard, it seams to be "peeling". Which shouldn't be an issue with a three thousand dollar bedset. I called a few months ago and a person came out and literally glued the flaking pieces down. Looked alright, so I didn't complain. Fast forward to now, it is peeling AGAIN. Looking worse this time around! I called customer service multiple times, finally got a hold of them after being on hold for half an hour. A lady answered and in the background I hear a group of people just messing around talking about non-work related things. The lady I spoke with was very rude, and at one point said she couldn't hear me, so I suggested that it was probably on her end because I can hear them clear as day as they are being very loud. So she suggests a day for a technician to come and take a look at my issue and as I'm checking my calendar she puts me on hold for several minutes and comes back on asking if a completely different day would work!! Then when I said that day was not the day she originally said she rudely said well its a sooner day we could offer you and so I had to look at my calendar AGAIN to see if that would work. We picked a day and as im about to ask more questions she says "have a good day" and hangs up!! IF YOU'RE NOT GOOD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE, OR DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB, GET A DIFFERENT JOB. I am so dissatisfied with Ashleys. Would never recommend someone buy from them when their employees can't assist you in what you need. Trust me, if I could fix my THREE THOUSAND dollar bed set on my own, you can believe I would. Waste of money, that I'm still paying off. UPDATE: I still haven’t gotten a new headboard. I keep getting the run around. I’ve went up to the store in person more than a couple times. I’ve talked to customer service what seems like a million times. Finally got to talk to a customer service manager and she asked me to send pictures of the headboard, so I did so. No reply. I blasted them on Facebook and Twitter, within 10 minutes I got a phone call from the lmk asking to send pictures to a different email and also a phone number. This was TUESDAY, it’s freaking SUNDAY. Still no response. I just want a new headboard considering I spent so much money on this set, and I wasn’t even the one to cause damage!!! They’ve glued it twice and now it just looks moldy and disgusting. Never shop here, I’m serious. Go anywhere else. You have better luck picking a bed set off the side of the road.

My family and my girlfriend's family has been shopping at Ashley for a long time and recommend us to go here to get our apartment furnished with a couch and dining table set. Our salesman was helpful but, rushed us once we actually had decided on something and caused us to get our order wrong and eventually having to change it. But, I'll take that one as my mistake. We ordered our furniture a month ahead of time as we knew we'd probably have to ship everything in. Our salesman said that would be perfect and it should be here on time. During the whole month we never once received a call to tell us anything about our order (I have now learned that this was supposed to be our salesman's job to contact us on any changes to our order). The day our furniture was supposed to arrive came and went and the next day I called to ask what was up. They told me that some of our stuff may not be delivered until 6-8 weeks after our date. Now, I get it Coronavirus is causing inventory problems but to not receive any kind of message about our furniture and then only to find out once you call into the corporate office is pretty absurd, but that is not the end of our story. I went in to Ashley to try and get something worked out I talked with the ladies at the front and they decide to get me a loaner until our couch could arrive. But, during this discussion I see our salesman on the phone with someone apparently complaining about their furniture being late. He then comes up to the ladies at the front desk and says, "I guess I need to stop selling so many couches and start updating people about their furniture delivery." I probably should've gone up to him and talked to him about why the heck he hadn't called me but, I just asked the ladies at the front desk if we would get updates about our furniture delivery and they said yes. It's been 2 weeks since that and I've received no updates. But in the meantime I received my loaner and it was a full sectional that had no way of fitting in the apartment. The movers were nice but complained the whole time about moving in a loaner. And once I realized it was a sectional instead of something that would actually fit in the apartment they had to take half out and they weren't particularly happy about that. But, I know that's frustrating. In conclusion, I understand Coronavirus is affecting inventory. The delivery date being moved is not a huge frustration point regardless of a salesman assuring me it would be here or not. It's the fact that not a single person has tried to contact me about our delivery date being 6-8 weeks late potentially. Even after all the problems and bringing it up to people in store and in their corporate office I've received little to no help besides the loaner couch. I won't be dropping our salesman's name but, if you really want to know just look in these reviews at any of the bad reviews and you can probably figure out who it is. I'll update if anything changes. 7/30/2020 Update: After a week still receiving no calls I decided to call and see what my delivery dates were looking like they were all pushed back except my bar stools and dining room chairs (no table) that I ordered. I had the chairs delivered today and first of all the delivery person was awesome but, my dining room chairs and bar stools were 2 different colors and my table that is 6 weeks late is apparently the wrong color. This has been the worst purchase experience I have had. I met with Stephon the regional Manager and Caleb and the process of picking out the furniture and the pricing was perfect. Delivery was expected in two weeks. Two months later and 23 phone calls and still missing several furniture pieces. Items were delivered without hardware, delivery guys refused to take them back, multiple times asked for manager to call me back and Edgar refused to call me back The store also refused to have the franchise owners call back (choices). Edgar promised a refund on the items not delivered and no idea on when the delivery date is. I called three times finally Melanie told me Edgar said he wasn't giving a refund and never said that. She also said there was not store manager that looked like I described and later said yes there was it was Edgar he is the highest level manager they had. She refused to give me the Franchise owners information and refused to give me the Franchiser manager over the locally owned Franchise per Edgar. Ashley furniture believes you can take a cash payment for furniture and never deliver it and keep the money!. The better business bureau has them rated as an F and they totally lost a customer for life and just because they have such poor service and support. It is not OK to have somebody pay for a product and not provide it, then keep the money. In response to your response to my review. I have not been given the furniture and would still rather have the furniture then the credit. You have been unable to produce the furniture yet you have kept my money and that sir is a violation of the Law. Please return funds or deliver the product! Very poor business practices. Your agent said that Edgar is here to handle these issue and we will never issue a refund and the Franchise owners will never take a call from a customer as they don't deal with them. Sounds like wonderful owners that acknowledge taking customers money, not producing the product and refusing to speak to their customers and send a lackey to deal with it. Very disturbing!

Ordered a bedframe from Ashley Furniture in June. It took about 2-3 weeks to arrive, and unfortunately my partner and I did not like it as much as we did in the store on display. We asked Ashley for a return, and they told us we would be on a list for return pickup. They weren't able to let us know our position on the list, but advised us to be available all day for whenever the truck comes - we would get about 20 mins notice. At the end of the day, we called asking when we could expect them, and were told that we unfortunately were never on the list. That was okay with us, except that the following day was the same situation. We finally disassembled the bed ourselves and then assembled a new frame we purchased on Wayfair which arrived in 2-3 days. And that is fine too, except that instead of issuing a credit refund, the refund had to be in store. Now, roughly 6 weeks later, we received a call this evening in August asking when we would like delivery for a new bed frame. We tried calling immediately to cancel, but the employee directed us to the customer service line which was only available during 9-5 which is when we work. The employee we spoke with even went so far as to ask what we did for work, as if to insinuate that it was ridiculous that we couldn't make time for the customer service line to call us about canceling our order. Of note, when we went into the store in person back in June, even the floor team there could not assist us with the delivery, because these were apparently two different entities that did not communicate with each other. tl,dr: This company is incredibly disorganized. And unfortunately in our experience, we feel that we are getting swindled out of our money and time. We simply want to cancel the order. We are happy with our Wayfair purchase. And I hope that this review serves as a lesson from anybody else who is considering this company. It is a major hassle, and the service has not been good to us.

Let’s start by saying that the overall looks of the store deceive the quality of service you’re going to receive. I purchased a $2k sofa, went back the next week to purchase the portable battery packs so I didn’t have to plug in my automatic recliners as well as purchased a nice shelf that caught my eye. Since I already had the sofa I wanted the battery packs ASAP, the salesman suggested the packs be delivered to the store and he’ll give me a ring when they come in. 4 weeks went by and after nobody picking up the phone in store I decided it was time for me to do it in person. When I entered the store the salesman immediately knew he messed up when I mentioned “battery packs” even on the bill of sale it stated he would call me when they were in store and come to find out they were sitting in the warehouse STILL. So I had to arrange it’s delivery MYSELF, the manager handed me their phone and told me to schedule the delivery as if nothing was wrong. The salesman merely said “sorry” and that’s all he could do. After the manager avoided responsibility of his employee and avoided dealing with a legitimately upset customer he proceeded to walk away while I was on the phone fixing their problem. After I set up the delivery for the following Monday, the shelf I had ordered and waited weeks for, was delivered damaged so therefore they had to ship another and I had to wait yet again 4 more weeks. But what about those battery packs? Don’t worry I didn’t forget... I asked those to still be delivered. And guess what?! They were! TO ONE OF MY NEIGHBORS. They even took a picture with the packs and everything! So you know what that means? The delivery verification process is a joke! You mind as well have snail mail deliver and hope to god your neighborhood package thief isn’t working that day. I had to call corporate, email them a picture of my entry way, and wouldn’t you know, the picture they had was of some Tan/brown guy standing on a completely different color/pattern of flooring! HA! Yet again, I had to save myself from these guys and clear things up. So here I am, waiting for my packs, and my shelf. Still. Oh did I tell you all of this was on my birthday? Yup. It was. I did get comped $100 but it’s in store credit, why on earth would I want to go back? Huh?!?! To commit Einstein’s definition of insanity?! No thanks. Do yourself a favor folks. Go to ikea or rooms to go. Or if you don’t have either of those in your town, garage sales or where someone died and the kids who hated their parents and is selling their stuff would be ideal to this store. Even if the sofa is haunted. It’s been almost two months and I still haven’t gotten a call since the original purchase date and I haven’t gotten a call on my new shelf that was at first delivered damage. GO ANYWHERE ELSE PEOPLE.

If I could give 0 stars I would.. My wife and I were excited to buy some new couches and a coffee table from Ashley’s furniture on January 11th. We were told they were in stock and should be delivered in 2-6 weeks.(were told would be closer to 2-3) Also we were told to call around the 2-3 week mark if we hadn’t heard anything. The three week mark came by so we decided to call. We were informed that those couches had now been discontinued and wouldn’t even be first available till mid March after new couches were made. So considering we had already sold our old couches we decided to go in for a “re-select”. We found new couches we wanted and made sure they were readily available. Our saleswomen told us they had them and would be able to get them to us the next week. We kept the same Coffee table as we felt we could wait on that piece. Two weeks later we still haven’t received a phone call to schedule a drop off day. I call them to ask where we were at. I was then told they had them in the warehouse for over a week but didn’t call because the coffee table hadn’t come in yet. I explain again that we are without couches and had been told the couches would come in ASAP. She then proceeds to make arrangements for them to be delivered the following Monday. I take off work Monday(Today) and wait, and wait. Five O’clock rolls around so I decided to call. I’m told that they can see I had called them the previous week about making a drop off today but “something must have glitched out” and it wasn’t put on the schedule. I tell the lady on the phone that I know it’s not her fault and asked where do we go from here. (She didn’t seem to care one bit, just gave a very unconcerned “sorry”) She informs me that the next time they will be available to deliver is Friday. This is where I started to become irritated. I explained that it was ridiculous that it couldn’t be delivered earlier than that considering they had already wasted an entire work day for me and had already scheduled me for today. Again I get “sorry” then she says “alright, so I’ll put you down for Friday.” As if she was about to hang up the phone before I can say if that even works for our schedule. At this point I ask if I can talk with a supervisor. I am transferred to a supervisor for the corporate office. She answers the phone with a terrible tone, stated her name and title then said nothing or asked anything. Not a “how may I help you” or anything. I finally just begin going over the story with her. As soon as I was done I got the short response “sorry”. When I asked if there was any way to get the couches earlier due to all the hishaps she explains that she can not. At this point I’m getting irate with how little care was being given. So she decided to tell me she can deliver them on Saturday if that better than Friday. I questioned her if this is really how Corporate treats situations and of course she says “yes”. I asked if there was a way to refund it all (close to $5000) as I don’t wish to do business with a company with this little customer care. Nope, can’t do that. She ends with setting the appointment on Friday. I will actively tell people the rest of my life to not use Ashley furniture due to their lack of customer care. Hopefully I don’t have to amend this review Friday... or next month when the coffee table comes in.

This review is long overdue, so December of 2017 I ordered my first sofa set for 2k. This was a first big purchase for me being a first time homeowner. My experience started with your approved! But at checkout I guess fine print was your only approved for 1200. Well sofa set totaled 2k?? So argument begin with me initially telling Ashley I had no cash up front, so AFTER PAPERWORK WAS SIGNED they said well theres nothing we can do our policies say no cancellation nor returns under any circumstances!!?? Well this is store negligence, then upon delivery which took about 5 weeks when i was told 1 week!, the distribution men were rough with my furniture and handled without care. My new home included new hardwood floors, I was upset that these men DRAGGED MY FURNITURE ON MY NEW FLOORS!! they also banged my front door so bad that part of the wood broke off in pieces from the damage! Of course I called and complained, sent pictures to prove damage of my front door and scuffed floors, and kept in touch with complaint department, and here it is a year later and NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED (13 months later). So...... yesterday for some dumb reason I go back to Ashley's to get my daughter a dresser and chest only, and they screw up and give me a dresser and nightstand. Yes I should have looked at receipt better and noticed before I left store, today when I called, I'm told theres nothing they can do ALL SALES ARE FINAL, THERE IS NO REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS THAT THEY HONOR, but I can drive back to the store, take extra time out the day, and order what I want at a second order. I'm done, I gave Ashley a second chance and still received horrible service!!! Go someplace else. This store is not accountable for their mistakes, they do not offer refunds or exchanges, and does not pay attention to their sales! ASHLYS DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING AND NEVER MADE MY FIRST PURCHASE RIGHT EVEN AFTER I WENT BACK FOR A SECOND TIME. there will not be a third.

If you’re working on your credit and plan on financing furniture do NOT go through Ashley! I never ever leave reviews, but with such a bad experience I had no choice. So the past 5 years or so I have been working on my credit. I brought it up from a low 500 to about a 740 before going to Ashely’s in Lubbock, TX. I was 6 months away from being where I needed to be to buy my first house. I decided to buy living room and bedroom furniture. I go and they told me I needed to run my credit to see what I’m approved for. So I ask, is this the Only thing that’s going to be on my credit or affect it. I asked SEVERAL times. Everytime they said nothing else would affect my credit after getting my furniture. So I get approved for $10k I get my furniture in, everything goes great until a few weeks later when I check my credit. There’s a MAXED OUR CREDIT CARD for $10k on my credit!!! It automatically drops my score 60 points. They never once told me this would be the situation! I call and ask if I could return some of the furniture so I could try to save my credit. The man on the phone got very rude and pretty much told me I was out of luck that it was too late. I ask if there’s anything to do financially and he tells me they have nothing to do with it, that’s all up to the bank. So I tell them my situation and how I need my credit up to buy a house. I get told, oh you can buy a house with a 640 credit score. Seriously?!. Am I supposed to be ok with that?! So my credit is still dropping. I still hadn’t gotten my card and paperwork in the mail to set up payment. So I call the bank and see what the hold up is. Apparently they didn’t put my apartment number on the letter so it got sent back. They didn’t try to get ahold of me at all to figure out the mix up. When I asked if there was anything they could help me with I was told I would have to call Ashley’s. So pretty much all the hard work I’ve put in the past few years on my credit was for nothing. Ashely’s and the GMs there apparently couldn’t care less and I’m At least a year or two away from getting a house that was planned to be purchased 6 months from now. Never again will I step foot into that establishment.

back in July of 2012 my sister and I both purchased beds I also purchased two temperpedic pillows. and my sister purchased a bedroom set and a bed pillow topper. it took them 6 weeks to deliver our purchases. when they delivered my stuff they forgot one of the pillows at the warehouse. When they delivered my sisters stuff, they didn't ran the furniture into our wall chipping our newly painted room. The deliver guys were very rude, they didn't have one of the springboards or her pillow topper. it took them another week before they came back out to fix that we still didnt get the pillow topper. I didn't receive my pillow for another month. we called for about 2 months straight left several voice mails. the costumer service was awful except for one very nice lady who no longer works there, due to the fact that she felt that Ashley's didn't really care about their customers. It is now February of 2013 and we have been on the phone again with them since December 2012, we called to ask them where our pillow topper was and they kept telling us they would call us back, we ended up being the ones constantly calling. Finally my sister got a hold of some one and she, very rudely, told her she would order it and get back to us. why they didn't think to order it 6 months ago is beyond me. I recently called to see where our item was and they said they would call me back. They called me back 5 minutes before closing and I was busy so I could not get back to them. she said she was going to call me back today and she hadn't so i called and after being on hold for 20 minutes I finally spoke to some one and she got my information and then put me on hold for another 10 minutes. she finally told me that the pillow topper we ordered has been discontinued and that i needed to go into the store to sign a paper. dealing with this company over the last 6 months has been a hassle and their customer service is absolutely awful. I recommend very strongly that you think very hard before you you do business with them.
