I was greeted as soon as I entered and was asked what I was looking for. I was shown 4 items and only one met my needs. I was pleased with outcome of my purchase except for having to wait over a week for delivery.

It was a very pleasant shopping day. The salesman Jordan was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with made us feel at home and no rush. I bought 2 different love seats, one for our den an one for the living room both electric. And they were delivered yesterday 1-28-25 and we absolutely love it. I am very pleased with what I found an picked out at Ashley furniture.
It started off good then our salesman told us the coffee table and end tables were half off so we were gonna buy them with her furniture and then everything switched after he talked to another gentleman there. Then he said we couldn't add clearance (the tables) in with other stuff that wasn't clearance and it was at that time we felt like we were at a car dealership and we're being haggled. The salesman wasn't very knowledgeable and kept having to run off to grt help. He also didn't explain things well at all. I'm not sure of what his name was but the initials are ET. Our purchase was made under my husband's name Herbert Rigmaiden. We were very put off after the whole clearance/non clearance. To me if someone is willing to purchase more even if it is half off why would you just not sell it to them? If I ever purchase from there again I would definitely want a different salesman.
Horrible service. I spoke to a salesman about a loveseat and couch I wanted to order. I told them I would be back with a bank check in a few days to cover it. I was told at that time no problem. I come back with a bank check written directly to them from my bank and they would not accept my check and made me wait all day to just tell me no. Needless to say I went to another furniture store and showed them my check and asked if they would accept a back check from my bank directly and they said absolutely. Ashely doesn’t care about getting customers and providing good service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The furniture is beautiful. Delivery is ridiculous. It was going to cost me $130+ for delivery for two side tables. I had a refrigerator delivered from the same distance for $29 at a different store. I picked up the side tables myself due to the cost of delivery being so high. Was cheaper to pay for my gas and spend a few hours making 2hr the trip. Otherwise, love Ashley’s.
I went to Ashley's just to look at recliners because I was thinking about getting my husband one for Christmas. As I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by one of the salesman and I told him what I wanted. He proceeded to show me what he had and I found one that I really liked. I wasn't planning on purchasing it that day but it was such a good deal I did. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. In the future if I need any more furniture I will definitely be purchasing from Ashley's in Lufkin.

The lady that helped us yesterday was excellent she was very knowledgeable of all the furniture and it's features. We were looking for a small sectional and maybe a chair and she showed us what they had and it was perfect for us. We did purchase the small sectional as well as a rocking and reclining chair and we are so excited. Ashley's did a wonderful job and we plan to go back in the future.

I’ve had a very bad experience with Yazminn Glenn.. Very nice when making the sale…. With the understanding I could exchange my purchase for another item from store, if not satisfied…I have been trying to talk to her for 2 weeks…you cannot get anyone to answer the store phone. We went in person..Me one time…my husband 3 times and left messages for her to call me.. I haven’t heard from her yet… The previous guy we did business with, Gene Norton, is no longer there… he was wonderful… he took care of business…we have bought lots of furniture from Ashley through the years… I’m very disappointed in the current management of the Lufkin store and Yasminn Glenn. This is my first negative review in my life but I’m so disappointed in salesperson…

I came here to check out the selection available at this location. My grandmother is long overdue for some new furniture and my family wants to surprise her for Christmas. The selection was good, however, I was here for at least 20 minutes and not one single person greeted me or asked if I needed any assistance. There was very low traffic in the store, and some employees were just walking around or on the computer on the showroom floor. I was very disappointed, as I am very big on customer service, and I eventually left. I seriously doubt I will ever return.

Had a great experience staff were very friendly and helpful with our purchase
Two Ashley store employees looked at my invoice and my photos of what they sent. The manager said the warehouse pulled the wrong item number. A month and many phone calls later, I still had a mattress that doesn’t fit between the headboard and footboard that match my bedroom set. I appealed to my credit card company to get an exchange of just the mattress. (The foundation is the right length.) Ashley refuses. Two months after its delivery, I’m still out $3000 for a mattress I cannot use. Remember this when you watch an Ashley commercial on TV!

I purchased the extended warranty through Ashley the warranty company approved an exchange on my furniture. I have been to Ashley and spoke with 3 different individuals one being the manager. It’s been 3 weeks and no one at the store or their guest relations can figure out how it works to do an exchange for warranty. Update it’s now been about 3 months, warranty company says they are ready to pay Ashley Lufkin Texas still can’t figure it out. I checked with an Ashley in Tyler Tx and she said Lufkin canceled my order, Holli in Tyler trying to get it worked out for me. Don’t purchase from Lufkin Ashley Store

TERRIBLE!!! Be prepared to get a LAWYER! I noticed ONLY the good reviews get a comment from Ashley. lol, go figure seeing how our con-woman, I mean, sales woman, has blocked us, and this company still owes us a couch!!!! RUN! We are now told it will be TWO MONTHS TO GET OUR COUCH! There's no store number to call, my husband tried to call "corporate" and they couldn't find our order, he finally found a number for "customer care" and that's when they told us it would be another month at the very least!!!! Our sales woman who kept saying she was a Christian for some reason started off with lies and, when confronted, started CRYING ON THE PHONE and now has BLOCKED my husband's number! She told us everything was in stock, and when asked about that, she said the warehouse "probably delivered it to someone closer." WHAT??? They delivered half our order and the electric loveseat has already stopped working!! We are out around $6,000, and these people refuse to reach out or help in any way. I'm going up there one more time to try and resolve this. Buyer Beware!

I went in to see if I could get help with a table I seen online that was out of stock. Thinking maybe they could help me get one. It was only 89$. When I got there. The lady (not naming names) had another picked out for me that was 8 times the price. But after finding one I liked and seeing the price. After 2 years I would of paid almost 4 times the price tag listed. I wasn't going to put myself in a bind. But I also know she has a job and was wanting her commission. I don't need fancy tables or chairs. I'm a very simple woman.

Our experience was positive at this location. We were greeted with a smile when we walked in. Our sales person was happy to deal with our back and forth to different products, and she was even more patient when dealing with synchrony bank, which was an extremely lengthy and annoying process. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE, THE SALES PERSON LIED TO ME, SAID THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE MY FURNITURE IN 3 to 4 DAYS, AND ONE OF THE ELECTRIC COUCHES I BOUGHT ALREADY QUIT WORKING AND IT'S BEEN LESS THAN ONE MONTH SINCE IT WAS DELIVERED. I received a partial order, and the rest of my order was rescheduled twice so "IF" they deliver, it will be over two months. The sales person number is now not accepting calls, and the store number is just an automated number, I spent over $6000 and after I paid, no one provides assistance. All I can do is talk to someone through a text and all they said is, "I'm sorry your furniture is not at the warehouse" I will never buy from this company ever again.

We got a good price on the furniture we purchased but were deceived with the delivery dates of our furniture. We were assured that one out of the two piece we purchased would be delivered 3 days after our purchase date. When receiving confirmation via text of the delivery date we were informed that one piece was to be delivered 9 days after purchase and the other piece to be delivered 29 days after purchasing. We were not able to get ahold of anyone at the local store in Lufkin to resolve this issue. All phone calls are automated. We specifically told the manager we needed at least the one piece that was verbally confirmed that would me delivered on May30,2024 not June5th,2024. We agreed to buy the furniture with a verbal agreement of May30th,2024 delivery date on 1 of the 2 pieces purchased. We paid for our order same day on Monday May 27,2024. We are disappointed with being deceived with order delivery dates and based our purchase on price and delivery time.

We stopped in on the way to a Dr appt. We only had 30 minutes to shop. We told them what we were looking for and the saleswoman walked quickly thru the store looking up items that fell in our request . We found what we were looking for, filled out all paperwork, paid and got to the appointment with 5 minutes to spare. Went out of there way to take care of everything is less than 30 minutes.

Man wasn’t impressed with the attention or a Welcoming atmosphere I walk the entire show room and sit down and waited for about 10-15 and finally someone showed up from a break and said Hello and stood there on a laptop for another 5 minutes and gave me another hello not a welcome to Ashley’s a Hello and I replied do you have time to answer my questions she replied Yes I can …. I ask how long have you work here? 3 years…. WOW! Look I was here to Buy and being an experienced Sales person you should know how to read Buying signals It seemed that this staff is not giving there 100% attention to walk in customers…. And no Manager present…. I saw 2 sales people and some lady walking around the building Didn’t acknowledge me either and the other sales person was with a customer, but it seems to me that this Lufkin staff lacks trainings and lacks leadership. Ashley‘s furniture has great furniture but terrible staff…… I’m sure there are last in Sales in the Region….. This store Lacks Passion and Effort.

When you go to Ashley furniture ask for Yazminn Glenn. She waited until we entered the store and greeted my husband and I. She asked what we were looking for and allowed us to look at different pieces of furniture. Yazminn made some suggestions to look at based on what we told her. She allowed us to feel comfortable with touching the fabric, sitting on the furniture, and asking questions. She actively listened to us, and she made a suggestion she thought we might like to look at. We did not purchase anything that day, but we did buy pieces another day. Yazmin was patient and kind to us. Ashley furniture in Lufkin is BLESSED to have her as their home furnishing professional.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. The delivery / warehouse side is AWFULLL! Customer service is zero help. It’s all automated. They don’t deliver all items then expect you to continue to miss work because they only deliver during business hours…. Even though it was their mistake. They will not deliver after 5.
We were sold an old battery as a new battery. The battery would not hold a charge. We tried two different batteries before giving up. When we asked for a refund of the $164.27, we were referred to an 800 number. I was given the run around and no service by 3 different customer service reps at the Ashley Guest Services number. The last one told me that the batteries were sold as is and would not be warranted. I highly encourage you to go elsewhere for furniture and especially batteries. Ashley Homestore is under new ownership with new management. Drex is the manager's name as of 10/2023. The owners need to get rid of him unless they would rather sell defective batteries for $164 for one time and lose customers that have spent $5000 or more on furniture items as long-term customers. This time, on 8/4/24, they had a cable that we needed. Unfortunately, I would not have needed an electrical cable if they had given me a reclining love seat without electric motors.
Bought 2 loveseats to replace ones have now, electric reclining and wireless phone charger.
As soon as we walked in we was welcomed. They gave us a few minutes to look around. Then when we had questions we was attended with the most friendliness way possible. For the 1st time, I would definitely buy from Ashley again.

I would give them 0 stars if I could I canceled my protection plan and they kept telling me it was refundable and know they keep giving me the run around that it’s not refundable that goes for Ashley furniture and the protection plan company as well. So if y’all buy anything make sure not to include protection plans because even if you don’t use it they won’t do the refund.

If I could give a review with 0 stars I would. Over the years I have purchased many pieces of furniture from Ashley and had a great experience but I have had the worse experience ever this time. I will never buy another piece from them again. I had bought a sofa in April that was to be delivered July 1. I received a text on June 30 confirming the sofa would be delivered the next day between 5:30-8:30 pm. That time came and no delivery and no other text or call. On Monday I called to be told the delivery day had been changed to 7/11 which I told them that was unacceptable. I had paid cash for the sofa and they had known since April it was needed on 7/1. At that time I requested the order be canceled and issue a refund. That was 7/3 and I was told my request had been granted and I would receive a refund within 14 business days. 14 business days arrived and no refund. I called again to be told the original cancellation had not occurred and the process would have to start over. Now a month later from original request and still no refund. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN!!!
Staff was great. Kim and Nacho?? Sp. we're very welcoming and knowledgeable. They knew their products, prices and quality of the furniture. We ordered and look forward to receiving the new loveseat and couch.
The people were nice, the store is pretty, the zero percent interest was great but my salesperson lied to me. I bought a full living room set and dining room set for over $7000 in April '21. I bought a 4 year warranty- was told everything was covered by the warranty even stains. The loveseat I purchased broke while someone normally sized was casually sitting on it. Poorly made Ashley brand. Apparently the newest ones are built differently bc of so many claims according to the tech. The board across the lower back broke. Anyway - I reported the problem in April 2023. 2 years into the 4 year warranty. Took a full month for a technician to come out, from AFM furniture services the business the warranty company contracts with, only for him to tell me it would be more expensive for him to fix it then it would be for them to replace it. He would report that to the warranty company and they would get back to me. That was May 17th. It is July 18th. No one has called. Yesterday I called the warranty company and their answering service answered. They told me I would get a return call within 24 hours. Nothing. No word. Nothing. I spent nearly $700 extra for a dishonest warranty. AND I spent $700 on a shoddy built Ashleybrand Loveseat. Somebody needs to make this right.

One star is too many - Not a good experience at all. I bought a beautiful clock. When I arrived home, I put new batteries in it and it didn’t work. I texted Nacho, the sales person I bought the clock from, and he informed me that the store would not refund my money nor exchange it for a new clock. Needless to say I won’t continue shopping there and will spread the word to others that this is not an honest company to do business with. Very disappointing.

I definitely would not recommend Ashley furniture to any of my friends. First off I tried for weeks to get a hold of them, couldn’t ever get anyone. And I’m still trying to get a hold of them! Even corporate will not answer a guy literally picked up and just sat there, I could hear him breathing and typing I even have it recorded. We asked our lady (yazminn) while we were in the store and purchasing the furniture if it all came together because I especially needed the Chester drawers and she told us yes. But when delivered they weren’t in there so I contacted them (by text keep in mind because they don’t answer their phone’s) and they said the drawers were never on there. Now I’m trying to contact them because it looks like they charged more money than on the receipt. At this point I would recommend everybody to just go to Ivans or some other place.

We were welcomed at the door by our sales person. He politely asked if he could help us and we let him know we were looking for a king size mattress. He took us to the mattress section, asked what we wanted in a mattress, we wanted a firm. He showed several, explained the benefits of each mattress. He was not pushy, let us take our time. We purchased our mattress and it will be delivered this weekend. We shop at Ashley's for all our furniture needs.

No one should go to this furniture store! This is the first time in my life that I bought brand new furniture, and I was so excited. We told the sales woman, Yazminn and the manager of the store, Mr. Drex, that we had nine cats and I needed to buy a sofa that was waterproof. There were none on the showroom floor so they found one on their website. I unfortunately took their word for it and purchased it. When it was delivered, it was in perfect shape so I accepted it. But as soon as we unwrapped it and looked at it, we realized it wasn’t waterproof and would not meet our needs. I immediately called the store back, but was told there was nothing they could do because I didn’t decline it. I then spent the next two weeks going back-and-forth with Yazminn and Mr. Drex. Both admitted that they knew I needed something waterproof and yet they ordered some thing for me that wasn’t. This was entirely the stores mistake, and all I needed them to do was to accept the responsibility of the mistake so that I could re-select a new couch one that is waterproof (and will be more money)but the manager would do no such thing. No matter how many times I go into the store or leave a message, the manager still doesn’t return my calls. This was entirely a store error and they simply refuse to own up to it. If you need furniture, even though Ashley furniture is beautiful, go somewhere else. Many stores carry Ashley furniture use them instead. Don’t go to the Ashley store in Lufkin. They are only interested in making a dime and not in the least bit concerned with customer service or happy customers!

Used a payment service acima this process has been a nightmare. Was told 90 day purchase price was the same as cash but now there is a 200$ early payoff fee. Do not believe the store reps they are just looking to make money.

This Ashley store has very bad customers satisfaction!! The manager will not even talk to you face to face!! I have ordered over thousands of dollars with them and they messed up on my order for my furniture not once but twice! Went is to find a recliner. Asked salesman what the weight limit was on a recliner. He fumbled around and then said #350-375. I asked him for it in writing. Salesman said he didn't have it on him. Went to another recliner. I googled the name and weight it said #300 max. I asked salesman what the limit was on this one. Again he said #350-375. I advised him he was wrong and was giving fake numbers. As I was sitting in a 3rd recliner I was on chat with Ashley.com. I asked them the weight limit on this recline. The chat line told me "we do not give out weight limits." I told him a salesman was giving me high numbers because I was a larger person. He advised me the salesman was incorrect and that salesman do not have access to weight limits on furniture. I will not purchase anything from this Ashley store again due to bold face lying multiple times.... sad thing is a second salesman came over and tried to convince me the limit was #400-450 not #350-375. So there are multiple people lying there.

Choose the right piece the first time, and you won't have the experience we did. Any after-purchase customer service is met with dodgy responses (if you even get a response), responsibility shifts, and the customer left in limbo without any follow-up. Purchased end of March. Told sectional could drive in two orders to account for supply chain issues. End of April for the main piece and early may for the extension. Main portion arrives, but the couch was lackluster and material already wore after less than a month. Sectional extension is delayed and delayed. We request a different sectional within the month, pushback happened but at least it was agreed. New sectional was less expensive than old, and it was agreed the price difference would be reimbursed to credit after couches are swapped. The sectional extension was cancelled, but not reimbursed until the swap. This was late May, early June. Couch was delayed as well for a while, no true answer for weeks. Many calls were met with no "we will get back with you" without anyone getting back to us. Finally swapped mid August, told 15 minutes before swap. Late September, no reimbursement processed to credit, no follow back, have called but got the "we will get back with you" and the issue is still unresolved.
furniture does not come in until MONTHS after u purchase it, management does nothing to help speed the process up regardless of telling customers that they will. i will never shop here again. worst store in lufkin.

Got my daughter some furniture for her first apartment. The sales guy was so nice and helpful. We even got a trip to Vegas. Every time I go to Ashley Furniture I leave with great items and a smile 😃.

Been wanting for over 6 weeks for my kids beds and they haven’t arrived yet the guy we talk to said in 4 weeks so I called just to find out that one of the beds is missing the rails but never bother to call me to let me know what’s going on, my kids have been sleeping in mattress so ridiculous I will never buy from Ashley’s furniture again.

Bought a loveseat, couch, and a recliner. They are covered under a five year warranty, and are currently less than five years old. The seams of the couch are coming apart to the point it looks like the material is tearing. And the recliners mechanisms are wearing down and it now it sits at a tilt. We called Ashley and was told that this is what we have a warranty for. Now we have emailed Ashely photographically evidence along with a claim number but they are refusing to cover the damage. Because they do not cover there seams with the warranty.
Do not waste your money! I purchased the protection plan for my living room furniture. The coach is pulling apart and the recliner broke. They refuse to cover either. They do no replace Damage with seams or mechanism. I just received run around
The staff is very helpful. I recently made a purchase, amd I'm satisfied with it. However the finance company at the site they use, is not very good. "Acceptance Now". They talk fast and say they go over every little detail. But that wasn't the case with me. And there was some big misunderstanding. When I called to get explanation of everything, they were not friendly,and had an attitude. I had to call the Home Office, to get my answers. However I highly do NOT recommend using the "Acceptance Now" financing company.

On Nov 9th I went into the Lufkin location in search of a sofa, loveseat & bed. The salesman, Robert was nice enough, answered all my questions and I ended up finding 3 peices I liked that fit my budget. I was supposed to get a call from their distribution center on 11/18 to schedule delivery but didn't so I called them on 11/19 . My furniture was brought on 11/22 and the sofa/ loveseat were as expected but it turns out the salesman ordered the wrong color bed so I refused that peice and called to see if it could be fixed. He told me it could be expected on DEC 1ST (almost another 2 weeks)! I asked if there was a rush that could be put on it since this was an error on his part and he said, "I'll see what I can do but no promises." He never bothered to call me back about an updated delivery time, never offered any sort of compensation for the error & increased wait time. I ended up having them refund the bed and I ordered the same piece from a local company for $50 less and I'll get it wednesday. The only time I'll go into Ashley furniture again is to find pieces I like then order from a different company with better prices and customer sevice.
Good selection of furniture and attentive sales staff. Bought a couch equipped with two powered recliners, and we enjoy it. Very much less satisfied, however, with a recliner purchased here as leather stain fairly quickly started coming off head area, leaving unsightly blotchy unstained spots in head area on chair back. Now have to keep the head area covered with a small throw for appearance purposes. Recliner is comfortable but now somewhat unsightly.

We will have to follow up on this one. Bought an all leather reclining loveseat and Sofa. Bottoms keep feeling like are leaning. Feild tech is knowledgeable. Two sections have been replaced already. My wife says hers is like it was and it's only been a couple of weeks. Exspected more for the name and 4 k.

October the 27th we went in to Ashley's & bought a sectional. Once we paid they let us know that they would have to be ordered therefore we would not get them until November 22th. Which was very upsetting to hear. Would have loved to know before purchasing. Here we are November 24th still no sectional. My husband called and they let him know that we still have another week to wait. Apparently they didn't get our number right and tried calling to schedule delivery. Also we bought when they had a promotion going on and We still have not receive information backage It's very upsetting. If you want furniture from this place be ready to wait a month & 2 weeks. Will be writing a review upon arrival.

Their delivery guys are extremely unprofessional and rude. The Nacogdoches store manager,Andrew and his team were really nice and went out of the way to help us. But the delivery guys are the worst I have ever come across. We ordered a piece of furniture 2 weeks ago, which was supposed to be delivered on a scheduled date. Eric , the person who showed us the furniture and finalized the deal was extremely professional and so was the rest of the staff. We were supposed to get a call from the delivery people from their college station warehouse to set up a time When no body contacted us , I tried calling them , the naco office transferred me to warehouse phone but no answer . I left voicemail , tried calling again, no answer. Finally on Saturday morning , got a call from warehouse , telling us that they could not deliver it . And we have to wait another 2 weeks We called the office in naco, the manger went out of the way and managed to get the furniture delivered But here is the worst part- the delivery guy delivered the furniture at the store and left. There was no way my husband could get that. Here comes the best part- the manger himself with help of some staff, delivered the furniture to us by the end of the day ANDREW , the manager and his team are extremely professional and will help you , which is highly appreciated But the warehouse delivery guys - highly unprofessional - that is the reason I gave 4 stars not 5 FYI- store is beautiful and furniture is awesome

Staff is friendly and helpful. Selection is nice. They didn't have the size I wanted in store, but were able to order it for me to pick up later. They aren't pushy at all, and let you look around while knowing that they are close if you have questions.

The store is big enough. Prices are a little bit steep. Staff not able to inform on correct delivery dates. I was told it took 5-6 days to receive my furniture...it took over 2 weeks.
Very disappointed! Was told by another to check out Ashley Furniture amazing deals & great sales team, when I was there in person I had a good experience. The service was very great, they met all of our need & they were friendly. When it came to my furniture arriving I was told my coffee table would be in the store in a week from my purchase date and would be assembled in store and ready for my husband to get, I am now on week three and still no coffee table. There is clearly some miscommunication with the sales man that I used and the shipping. Now it's going to be another three days and it will be delivered to us when that was not the plan. Now I have to spend my saturday waiting around for someone to arrive when they can. Not happy at all! I will not use them again! Let me just add that for the last month and a half we have been working with ashley furniture on 3 items we bought for our home. Being first time buyers & newlyweds we were very excited about taking this next step however this has been a terrible experience for us. The shipments come in 3 weeks after the date that they tell you, no one follows up with you, the furniture all came to us damaged. We have sent our end table back 2 times & the remaining time they wanted to fix the dents & dings with a furniture pen. IF I AM PAYING FOR NEW FURNITURE THEN I DON'T WANT TO COVER YOUR MISTAKES WITH A PEN. The only pleasant experience we had is from the random delivery men that come. We were working with a manager who did "what she could" in our situation & it all sounded great at the time.. replace this, discount that but my issue is, we shouldn't have to deal with any of this. Long story short, I should have went to Dixons or Ivan Smith like I was told to from the beginning. I left this comment up until I saw an improvement with my services however nothing has changed. Can you believe we paid for a NEW $600 electric recliner & the one that was 3 weeks late was one that was taken off of a show floor. Yeah, it came with dirt in the cushions & fingerprints & scratches. Never again.
This was a horrible experience from the get go! We ordered a adjustable bed and was delivered a standard bed with not lifts. The first time around. Took and extra week to get the correct bed. They sold us a mattres cover and talked so highly about how we needed it. Once the bed was here they told us the cover was on back order for over three weeks. They instructed us to lay on towels to protect the mattres. On top of that they sold us a cheaper bed that was suppose to have all the bells and whistles and then delivered it lacking one feature. When I went to the store they told me that I was wrong that they had never said such a thing and that I could pay the difference and a restocking fee to get the other bed. I declined that idea and went about our business. A year later we decided to give them a second chance because they had a good sale going on. We purchased a couch, two recliners., a end table and a coffee table. We were told it should be in the following Thursday. We opted to pick up our furniture ourself. When I called the following Thursday they told me that the recliners were in the warehouse in college station and the couch would be there that day and that the tables would be there in a week or so. I asked if they could go ahead and bring the sofa and recliners to Lufkin so we could have something to sit on after two weeks of no furniture. They agreed and said it would be there to pick up on the following Thursday. So a week later I called to check the status of our furniture and they informed me that all my furniture had just got to the warehouse in college station that day so it would be another week on the next Thursday before we could pick up our furniture. I was ticked off by this point. I spoke with the salesperson and he and his manager were going to have the furniture delivered to our house at no charge that Saturday. I agreed and they promised all the furniture would be here. The warehouse called an hour later and once again they guaranteed it would ALL be delivered that day. So now here we are on that day and they delivered TWO of FIVE items. A recliner and A end table which were BOTH damaged! We Refused the two items and I went to the store to cancel our order which they did without giving me a huge hassel. Just beware if you purchase from this company! On top of all that the salesperson was very unprofessional. He greeted us and we spoke briefly and we went about browsing. We know another salesperson there personally and spoke with him for a little while. The first salesperson pulled him to the side and got snippy with him. We left with the intent of returning the following day to purchase our furniture. That salesperson came up to us and the first thing he said was that him and our friend were going to split the commission which we thought was odd. We told him that he met with us first it should be his sale. Later after we were looked around a bit more he waited for me to walk off to look at something and he pulled my wife to the side up to his manager and told his manager that my wife had something to tell him. This was very awkward for her and I wasn't happy about it. The manager took him to the back and proceeded to yell at him and tell him that he should never do such a thing. After he got in trouble he came back to proceed with the sale. While he was talking with us he was putting down his manager and the other employees stating that he brought over a million dollars of sales with him from Ivan Smith and he was basically better than any other salesperson in the store. He also proceeded to show us pictures on his cell phone of some glass sales trophies trying to validate himself as a great salesperson. The whole experience was horrible and I will never be back!
Bought warranty on furniture now when I filed claim for accidental damage Ashley's Furniture is denying the claim. Claiming it's normal wear and tear on a sofa set that I bought less than three years ago.
