WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I will never buy from Ashley’s again. It has been nothing but lies, miscommunication and frustration. I bought a mattress and bed frame. The date the salesman told me for the mattress delivery was inaccurate. He said they would remove my old mattress. They didn’t! I had to call the store to get it scheduled for removal. The bed frame was scheduled for delivery on 8-9 according to the automated text I received. Then I get a call 2 days ago on 7/23 telling me it would be delivered today, 7/25. I asked for the timeframe and she said someone would call me the next day. That never happened. I scrambled to get rid of my current bed frame to make room for the new one. I called in to Ashley customer service this morning to get a timeframe. I was told the delivery wasn’t scheduled until 8/9. The rep told me the items would be in on 8/6 and delivered on 8/9. So now I have my mattress and box springs on the floor until then. Do I asked to speak to a supv. The person from the escalation team then proceeds to tell me the bed won’t arrive in the warehouse until 8/9 with delivery on 8/13. So within 20 minutes the dates mysteriously changed. I asked her why I have a text message stating a delivery date of 8/9. She said that’s just an estimate. WHAT??? It doesn’t say estimate. It says delivery date. As I said, it’s been one big colossal failure on Ashley’s part. I’m seriously considering cancelling my order and going somewhere else. I asked for the number to Ashley’s corporate office to file a complaint. I was given the number to the recruiting team. They gave me corporates number. I spoke to a receptionist who said I needed to speak to customer service for the local store. I told her I’ve done that. She said she would transfer me to consumer affairs. But guess what…. She transferred me to the parts department!!! That lady was rude and made no attempt to route me to the right department. She just said she couldn’t help me. As I said, it’s one big cluster!! Read the reviews before you buy from this company!!! * Sabrina is one of the mgrs at the mesquite store and she has been as helpful as she can be.

I ordered two things and some how it’s too hard to deliver my items to my house… I’ve paid too much money for the delivery to be an issue. I will not be coming here anymore. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Had a very bad experience today with my delivery. I’ve waited almost a month for my furniture to be completed which I understand. The day comes and one of the drivers had a very bad attitude when asked to move my furniture more to the center. Goes outside and yells at his partner to come back inside and help him (caught on camera). Felt very uncomfortable with the situation. Keep in mind I am pregnant. Didn’t finish the job because didn’t have a drill and said I need to contact a technician from Ashley. Did not give me any details and didn’t even put it in the notes. Now I’m in a stressful situation after waiting so long and having to deal with his attitude!! Someone needs to contact this guy and ask him what my furniture needs!!
Ashley's once again came in on customer service above & beyond. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable and respectful. But the Delivery service totally dropped the ball and left us deprived of our new purchase. I was considering purchasing the matching set but because of the poor delivery service I chose Not. Ashleys Furniture gets 15 out of 10. I recommend the Mesquite Store.

I bought a table with 4 bar stools and only received 3 stools. I called the customer service line and told them about this and it’s been over a month and still haven’t gotten my stool. Their customer service is a joke. I highly recommend taking your money somewhere else.
Don’t shop here unless you are okay with being lied to by the managers. My experience with this company has been the worst I’ve had to experience, so much so that this is the first time in my life I have had to leave a review to a place. A negative one at that. 2 weeks ago I came to buy furniture here, I had a CONFIRMED delivery on the following Saturday. They decided to act as if my order was never scheduled for delivery THE DAY OF. I asked them to cancel it and they assured me it was cancelled. The next day I got messages reminding me to schedule delivery. I called the store to ask why my order wasn’t cancelled, they told me they sent the request to corporate and I had to wait till the next day which was on Monday. On Monday I received another delivery message but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Today, now THREE days later, I went on the online chat and the rep notifies me that the order was still not cancelled and that the refund had not yet been processed. It was 7/8 AM and he asked me to wait because his supervisor was not “in” yet. He closed the chat on me while I was typing. I get a hold of another online rep and she tells me the same. I call the customer care line and finally get a hold of someone who cancels my order. I called the Mesquite store just now to speak to the manager and she sends someone to tell me she is busy with another customer and to leave a message. As if my time has not already been wasted and disrespected enough. She finally answers and lies to me about how my order was cancelled by them on Monday. I was lied to by my sales rep, the assistant manager, one of the managers, and the online chat reps. It does not take 4 days, several calls, several chat conversations, and several cancellation requests to get my money back. If they had delivered my items when they were supposed to or at the very least notify their customer in advance that the delivery was being delayed we wouldn’t have had this issue. Mind you they kept telling me they needed a supervisor to cancel my order… the person that finally canceled it wasn’t even a supervisor.

I originally went to Ashley Furniture because their website said they offered a 5% military discount, which this store refused to honor. After purchasing a couch, the headache began with their delivery system. My delivery was scheduled and then cancelled three times over a three week period. Each time, the cancellation occurred hours before the couch was supposed to be delivered and each time I had taken off of work to receive the delivery. I eventually got the couch almost a month after I purchased it. I am happy with the couch, but because of the delivery, which I paid $120 for, I would be discouraged to shop here again.

The sales persons, Victoria and Micheal, allowed me to change my mind after sitting on different furniture minutes before paying and scheduled delivery for the following week. The customer service was excellent. I gave a 4 because everyone needs room for improvement.

We were greeted by Jose at the door with a friendly smile.We talked a little about what we were looking for and what I found online. Jose was very patient never tried to rush us and found us a great sofa and recliner. I give Jose 5 stars for the service we received. We didn't give the store 5 stars it definitely needs updating and the floors were nasty and it wasn't from the rain. I would definitely go back the service was great.

We received great customer service from Victoria, our sales associate, and from the delivery guys. We purchased a children's night stand and dresser with mirror. We paid for delivery only and no assembly. The last thing we assembled was the mirror and we were surprised it passed QA inspection; hence the three stars. The supporting boards behind the mirror were stapled carelessly and part of them are visible and they are not supposed to be seen. We should have complained, but we did not want to deal with the headache.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS CORPORATE STORE!!!! They have a ZERO return policy. I bought a sectional had it delivered and figured out it will not fit in the room without being in the middle of the room. Delivery men set up and hauled butt off to the next stop. I go to the store 2 hrs after delivery and ask for an exchange or store credit. I was told sorry we don't do that call this 800 number. Corporate customer service said sorry we don't take back furniture. So I just spent $2000 on furniture that won't fit in my living room and the company literally does not care. Go to NEBRASKA FURNITURE MART instead as they sell the exact same Ashley furniture FOR LESS MONEY and they have a 30 DAY RETURN POLICY FOR ANY REASON!!!

Sofa was quality, communication on delivery was weak. We bought a floor sofa set from the Mesquite location which was contracted to be delivered 3 days after purchase with a 24-48 hr call for time window notification. Bottom line our delivery date was changed to 14 days after purchase without communicating to us and Ashley phones rolled to a recording communicating the original delivery date but no time window when I called. It was after a trip to the store a manager changed the date to 5 days after purchase and found no documented explanations for the date change. Beyond communication issues the actual delivery was done without issues and professionally. .
Stephen was very helpful and took care of us right away and it was done all over the phone! We had our mattress delivered the very next day and it’s perfect! Thank you Ashley Furniture and Stephen!
They will definitely take your money, but will NOT address any issues you have. I purchased a BR set and the delivery was all messed up. I contacted the store to see what the issues were and when all of the pieces would be delivered and they did NOT respond. When the chest finally came it had a screw sticking out/not in place that caused one of the drawers not to close and another drawer had a screw missing. The company says once you buy it you have to keep it even if it is defective or damaged. Don't buy Ashley, but if you do don't let them leave it until you check EVERYTHING from top to bottom. Screws, drawers, scratches, etc. The delivery people will take pics but the damage is often on the inside where they don't take pics!!!

Nice furniture but the store has leaks and looks dilapidated.
Furniture was delivered damaged and getting them to stand by their 72 hours claims process is almost impossible. They only delivered 2 of my 3 pieces of furniture and had to open a ticket to “find” the missing piece. It’s been a week with no update. Impossible to speak to an actual person and when you do they just send you to create an online claim and can offer no help. I will never again purchase from Ashley.

UPDATE: WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. I was told IN STORE I would be able to change my lease and lengthen it and make my payments a little more reasonable once the lease goes through. I contacted the lease company and asked them to extend it and they told me the store should not have said that because they don’t do lease extensions. HUH SO FUNNY, I ONLY agreed to the loan because I was under the impression I’d be able to make the payments a bit more within my budget. MISINFORMED, LIED TOO, JOKES UPON JOKES. I ain’t even mad about about the delivery debacle, IM PISSED I was LIED TOO in store and given the run around. And to top it all off, the jokester lease chat employee couldn’t spell to save their life, and wanted to be funny and send me screenshots of him repeating our chat as if I didn’t see it or acknowledge it. EDUCATE THE EMPLOYEES TO NOT SCREW OVER PEOPLE AND THEIR MONEY. NOT BUYING FROM AN ASHLEY STORE AGAIN. Respectfully. I just wanna start by saying that the sales lady who helped me was very kind and did her job well, thus the extra star. Although I did have some small issues with seeing certain bed frames for a lot cheaper online but was not shown those ones, I was shown the more expensive ones instead. My issue isn’t with that, it’s with the delivery process. I was told and shown the entirety of the bed set up would be delivered april 24th, but the delivery order summary only showed a portion of the bed getting delivered with no follow up as to where the other components were. I contacted customer service and the jist of what I was getting was my bed was delayed and should HOPEFULLY be ready by the end of the week. Why wouldn’t the whole bed be delivered together?? That means I have to take off multiple days from work and not everyone’s job is lenient. Now I had to cancel the delivery and push it back and now I’m stuck sleeping on my couch. It would’ve been nice to know earlier or receive an email about the delay. I respectfully don’t think I’ll purchase anything else from Ashley.

The process of purchasing with extended finance was seamless and the time spent in the store was minimal. However, I didn’t feel like the interaction was personal but more transactional. I don’t even know what my sales rep’s name and she was very temperamental (not open to receive) nor was I addressed as Mrs. Name. The communication was more like hey you (out-loud) from across the room for the entire store to hear my dealings. I did not like that and when I tried to express my dismay to the Assistant Manager all he could say was “I don’t understand” - he wasn’t engaging so I see why the sales rep conducted herself as she did. Her behavior was a reflection of management. No “quality” customer care. I was dealt with and not serviced. I never write reviews because I don’t find joy in speaking badly but the experience left me thinking I will never shop here again. I’m giving it 4 Stars because customer service isn’t easy. The store had great offerings and they were willing to price match online prices. The financing was made easy and I’m certain my sales rep was going above and beyond for me but needs to improve upon being discretionary and show some tact.

We were assisted by Stephen, who understood how to lay back just enough to not be on top of us, but was well placed to answer all our questions. A really good experience. Steven was great didn't follow us to close just close enough. Personalized service How we wanted. We had time to find just what we wanted and Steve took care of the rest. Once we chose what we wanted it was 15 minutes and we were out of the store.
Chill sales people- they may keep an eye on you in case you need them, but not following you around like a puppy. When it’s time to order, thorough process and follow through to delivery! Great delivery tracking app and delivery folks too!

My experience was fantastic. Stephen was my sales associate. He assisted me right away. I had everything I wanted in my cart on the Flipp app which is a must have app. I showed Stephen what I wanted. He showed me my selections and was even able to do a pre qualifying finance application which I was approved. We got all of this done on my lunch hour which left me with 15 min to grab a bite and get back to work on TIME!!! Thank you Stephen!!!

The salesperson was great and we agreed to pick up our chair at warehouse in Fort Worth, we live in Dallas. We’re told that people pick up at the warehouse all the time. After over an hour and a half drive we were greeted by a slob slouched in chair. Told the ONLY person who pulls orders was at lunch and it would be 1.5-2 hours before they could get our chair pulled. We left !
Wife and I visited the Mesquite store and was greeted by Jordan. We were shopping around looking to upgrade our mattress. To our surprise Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our experience. He explained every facets about mattresses that we didn't know. Even though we went over our budget in our purchase it was money well spent. We been to other stores but their sales associates didn't come close to what Jordan explained to us . Sales people are very nice here and helpful and the store has alot of furniture you can look at but the problem is the warranty for there furniture is utter garbage. The worst customer service I've come across in a very long time. The incompetence is staggering and if you get damaged furniture always double check every thing top to bottom before accepting any piece of furniture because good luck ever getting it fixed in a timely manner. It's been 2 months since I got a recliner with multiple tears defects in my couch and warranty has sent out someone twice and only sent me part of the pieces to be fixed. Every time warranty only alloted an hour for repairs when it would take half a day to fix it all. Ashley furniture needs to do better especially when customers spend thousands of dollars. Every stores warranty is different than corporate. Ashley furniture needs to do better theres to many hands in the cookie jar for anything to get done correctly.
We visited last week to search out furniture for our son’s home. Shelley served us and helped us to identify key pieces. Even though we didn’t buy that day she still made our experience a good one. We returned last night to make our initial purchase and she stayed over to assist us without a complaint. Definitely a positive business experience!

Our salesman Charles T. Also known as CT was great. He was very nice. Loved her personable he got with you. I am not one for salespeople but he was very pleasant. Him and his manager Alex did an amazing job to get our business and get us where we wanted to be with the out the door price.

Never ever buy from Ashley! I ordered a bed with Ashley this past month and I had the worst experience. First, horrible customer service, especially at their warehouse in Fort Worth, TX. I picked up the bed at their warehouse and as soon as I walked into the office I was greeted by the most disrespectful man. He was wearing a super hero shirt, his hair a mess, and he acted extremely unprofessional. As soon as I walked in he verbally showed how annoyed he was that I came in and gave me an attitude like what do you want. He also did not help me with my order and forced me to call the store representative who sold me the bed so that he could do his job and tell the warehouse employees to bring up my order. Not to mention that before this incident, I had called him about the status of my order and he used a rude mocking tone arguing with me that my pickup date did not mean I was able to pick up. (this was after 100 times of me calling the warehouse and them not picking up) Second, Ashley orders are shipped incomplete. The next day I assembled the bed, three parts were missing! I called customer service and they said they would email me about the missing parts and they never did. I called again the next week and a lady answered the phone and she was incredibly condescending. To this day I have not received my missing parts. Seriously if you are in Texas, do not buy furniture from Ashley. This was by far the most disgusting experience I have had with any business.

Waited a week for my sofas to be delivered after I paid for them in full all for them to tell me my sofas are on hold and it won’t be delivered another week later due to a mistake they made in the system/paperwork. Not to mention I told the sales rep I did not want the ridiculous $400 protection plan all for her to tag it on to the final price in store, thinking we wouldn’t notice. Avoid this place. Canceled my order.

We had a good experience. They were short handed, so store manager helped us. He was very friendly and helpful. I explained what we were looking for (firm sofa & dimensions) and he took us around. In less than 20 minutes we found what we wanted. The store was able to give us a great holiday deal. We decided to look at other types of furniture, but nothing else caught our eye. There was no pressure to purchase. We purchased a modified U shaped sofa. Delivery is a week & a half.
Had cash in hand for a sofa purchase but after walking around for 30 min. waiting for someone to come help us we eventually just left. Employees would turn and look at us but I guess assumed we were broke lmao.
Our salesperson (CT was excellent. Friendly. Not pushy. Knew product well and found exactly what we wanted. Asked manager for best deal. Contract quickly and out the door. The manager could have come over and said hello. Otherwise. I’ll be coming back for more purchases and ask for CT .
Placed an order about two weeks ago and was told I could pick it up here on the date that it was ready. They ended up telling us that we had to drive all the way to Ft Worth to pick it up. I didn’t like the fact that they lied about the pick up location when they were trying to sell me furniture.

I’m a frugal spender, but I believe the sales person name was Jason, he was phenomenal. He wasn’t pushy but he gave me the reason why purchasing a therapeutic mattress would be an investment. I listened to him carefully, because I knew I wasn’t going to buy it. I’m not an easy person to get to buy something when my mind is made up on something specific. I just was trying to get the least expensive mattress I could find. Well, Jason explained the health benefits of it as well. I laid on that mattress and the difference it made on how restful I felt was quite noticeable. I am a side sleeper but it hurts my arm and shoulders. I laid on that bed and I didn’t hurt. I was sold. I also bought a bed that I’ve always wanted and a dining room set. I’m a happy customer.

One of the worst Ashley Furniture stores I’ve been in. The salespersons were rude, gave me a weird look when I smiled and were not helpful at all. Furniture is nice but way overpriced mostly because people use credit than actual cash value nowadays. I know because they had items cheaper online and the next day I checked it was $80 more.

The chairs were not wrapped when they carried them in so there were some chips in the legs and dirt on some of the fabric of the chairs. I asked one of the deliverers if it is common to have nicks in the legs and he said yes it was because of the type of wood they are made out of. I question that but chose not to return them because I didn’t want to wait for replacements. Also I asked about them not putting in the shelves to the tv stand. They said that they didn’t do that so you can adjust them to where you want them. The shelves were heavy and very tricky to put in . It’s hard for older folks who don’t have assistance to do it on their own . Just letting you know for future reference. Other than that I like the pieces I selected!
Saleslady Rose Rivera was nice she work with me and please with her service. It’s seems she was in demand, but she continued to complete our sale. I recommend her. Kudos to her.

I've always enjoyed shopping at Ashley, but the knowledge and expertise shown by Jason made the experience that much better. I went in looking for a mattress, and left with a living room set as well. I will be a guaranteed returning customer! On a side note...I financed my mattress through Amica, and the fact that I couldn't pay a portion in CASH was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. Talk about BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Horrible experience. First thing, the box spring given to me was not the same one I asked for at store. Sales man definitely gave me one more expensive to win more commission. The furniture was chipped. Delivery guys colored it in. I sent part of it back. That order was scheduled to arrive the 17th and they did not call me at all to reschedule, they just cancelled without letting me know. I missed a day of work waiting for the furniture to arrive again. Dresser was chipped (I let it go whatever) bed came in they assembled it, it was super jiggly and moving everywhere because I had to put mattress since delivery guys denied to do it. Horrible experience!!!!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered! Where do I start… well, when we first walked in (on a Tuesday) we were greeted and overall pestered by a man named CT (Charles) who treated us like he was try to sell us a car. Saying things like, “I can get you the best price if you give me a commitment to buy it” and “I’m a veteran expert associate and will get you what you need to make a deal”. When we finally landed on what we wanted to buy ($4k worth of furniture), everything he promised he could do for us came unraveled. Keep in mind that I already have their credit card with a $6k limit. He first said he could get us 60 months no interest, he came back and said he could only do 6 months no interest. He first said he could get all our furniture to us by Saturday, then changed it to he could get us all the furniture by the following Tuesday instead. Over $4k worth of furniture and they wanted to charge $400 for shipping. He then suggested we get a Uhaul if we are not satisfied with the delivery charge and pick it up at their warehouse in Fort Worth (60 miles one way). At this point we had it with dealing with this man so we asked to speak to someone else. He gets his manager (Michael) who was able to rework the deal to get us at least 24 months no interest, but couldnt do anything about the delivery fee. All while telling CT that he’s wasn’t listening to our needs. After talking with my wife, we decided to take the deal and pick up our furniture from the warehouse ourselves to save the delivery fee on the following Tuesday. It gets worse… on Saturday I get a call from CT at 8:30pm and he tells me there’s a hiccup in my paperwork and I’ll have to come back to the store to fix it. I told him that I can’t get back up there until Monday and asked if this affects my pick up date. He said to hold off and he will call me back on Monday to confirm (my pick up date is the next day on Tuesday). So I wait. He calls me around mid day on Monday and says he’s got “good news” that I won’t have to come up and redo my paperwork, but I’ll only be able to pick up 2 out of 3 pieces of furniture on Tuesday and I can pick up the rest that following weekend. I told him I’m having to rent a Uhaul and that this agreement is unacceptable to me and that I need to speak to someone other than him. He says he’ll have his boss call me back and hangs up. Hours later, Michael (the manager) calls me back and say “hey, I’m sorry about the confusion but you can pick all the furniture up tomorrow and you shouldn’t have any problems”. If you thought the story ends there, nope, it gets worse. The next day, after I get out of work, I pick up the Uhaul and realize that the warehouse closes at 6pm. My maps say I should show up right before 6pm so I tried to give the warehouse a call to let them know the situation, however, the phone number to the warehouse is disconnected. So I call Michael. He tells me that he has “tried to call the warehouse several times and he is getting the same disconnection, but as long as I get there before 6 it shouldn’t be a problem. We arrive at 5:58, knock on the door (because it’s already locked) and this child behind a desk just straight up ignores my wife who’s knocking on the door. I get out of the Uhaul and go up to the door and the child finally looks up, annoyed. She comes to the door and tells us they are already closed and there’s no one there to pick our items. I tell her the situation and how we tried to call several times. She tells me (in her mush mouthed monotone) that they don’t have a phone number, we’ll have to come back tomorrow, slams the door on us, and proceeds to ignore us again. I call Michael, who doesn’t answer, so I call the store directly and speak to a man named Javier who says, “if the warehouse is telling you they’re closed then you’ll have to come back tomorrow”. At this point, I am livid! I tell him to just cancel my order. Javier just shrugs me off by saying “cool, give me a few minutes while I process your cancellation. 20 minutes later he tells me it’s done. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

Very disappointing, frustrating and unprofessional. Second time with pick up issues after two Ashley employees stated they scheduled our pick up and added my spouses information because I could not be there. The female employee watched over a managers back during the last transaction just to get the credit for the sale and still not deserving due to the simplest transaction the schedule of pick up couldn't be done. We already knew what we were purchasing so that employee literally did nothing except have me dislike and not want to return. When people are spending good money at the least good service should be provided. Not even asking for excellent. If I could cancel the order I would. There is no customer service any where with Ashley even if you try asking for higher management
I'm so disappointed in this company. I purchased a bed from them in March of last year. I also purchased the protection plan for my bed for 5yrs. My bed frame broke and they refused to fix it. Talking about the warranty only covers burns,scratches,cleaning and another of nonsense. They also told me I could get my money back from the warranty but I have to wait 5yrs. I will never purchase anything else from Ashley. They say there the best and that's a flat out lie. They need to treat there customers right. They charge a arm and a leg for there stuff but can't do right by there customers.

Delivery guys were fast and on time but it was a rainy day and parked partially on our grass and left a muddy,messed up tire dip in our yard. Aside from that the couches that were delivered were beige and there several dirty spots (couches were not super well protected) and I'm guessing their hands were not super clean. And before leaving the guy dropped the small pillow that came with it outside on my porch and got it all muddy.

I told him what I was looking for and he took me right to the area I needed. I had an idea of the colors and fabric I wanted on a couch and found the perfect one! I also wanted some other items so we walked around and found exactly what I wanted. The price point was great as well and I walked out knowing I got my money's worth. This was a wonderful visit. As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by a smiling employee willing to assist. He toured me throughout the store showing me every options available for office desks. Stephen Davis was able to answer all my questions and even the questions I didn’t ask because he was listening to me. That saved me time.
My bedroom set was installed incorrectly, I requested for someone to go out to my house again and they have yet to fix it. They did schedule an appointment for me but never showed up or called me to cancel or to reschedule.

As soon as I walked in ashley's furniture store of Mesquite, I seen my dream couch. I sit down on it and fell in love. Then Jessica walked over to me and started helping me with my order. She was so professional and it was like she could read my mind and tell me exactly what I was wanting. She also match me with a recliner. And she was awesome, she helped me with everything. Thank you, Jessica, from the bottom of my heart. So when you go over there dont forget to ask for Ashley, she was great. The store was clean and all the furniture. Very bad experience with manager Edward Johnson II. It was a long and terrible process just to get mocked and basically kicked out. He called me and my boyfriend stupid and said we were "not thinking with our head" for not wanting the optional protection he was pressuring us to get even though we declined it several times. He then called us "cheap" for not wanting the delivery of the sleeper sectional we were trying to purchase. My boyfriend then said he was getting out of line with the comments and he said "we are done" and turned us down by saying he didn't need this sale and to get out of his store.
Braylon was my salesman & he was extremely helpful & patient. He answered all my questions & addressed any concerns I had. I would recommend working with Braylon because he knows his stuff.

First off, it took 25 minutes to purchase a $21 home decor item. My sales person C.T. was sweet, he was doing his best. I wasn’t in the system, which is odd because i just purchased a bedroom set 90 days ago. So he had to add me, then since the item was on sale, he had to get Manager approval. The manager was an absolute jerk. For whatever reason, after I paid with my debit card, he wrote down my DL number on a form (which made me uncomfortable) and he wouldn’t say why they needed it. He kept saying “Store policy”, Then I had to sign about 5 papers. Not sure sure what all those were for. He wouldn’t even let me red them; just trying push me along. Overall, terrible experience. Won’t be coming back.

Beware of expensive unnecessary added charges for protection plans added without your knowledge. Read every detail on your contract. I’m in the process of trying to get refunded for one that was misrepresented by the salesman. Plus he told me the white glove delivery was $40 then when they delivered I saw on the paperwork that it was $190. The only thing they had to put together with the top of the table to the base. Be Aware….

I will never buy a couch here and recommend that all of you do not either or be very weary with the quality they provide. I have purchased what seemed to be a great couch and after 2 months had fell apart, broke, and seems coming loose. We are very careful people with are things so shows that there should of been no reason for this product to break. I alerted ashleys and call so many times I can not count about the problem and my warranty and stated will be taken care of. It has now been almost a year and of course no result in fixing or exchanging my product for a couch of better quality couch then the one I have. I am very disappointed as I was referred but am so disgusted with the customer care and urgency to resolve a customers concerns. I will never buy here again and will continue to inform people not to as well. I have given chance after chance, while being very patient and will not take this no more. I would rate it 0, but no option to choose it, worst customer service I have ever received here, I went in today asking if they do returns and was told yes, me and my 7 year struggle to get two huge boxes out and was told I had to take them back to the store , there was 6 employees watching me and my daughter pushing the boxes to the back, but since I obviously wasn’t there to buy anything I was totally invisible to them. No one offer to help me at all, they all just watched me struggle , get to the back of the store for them to tell me they don’t do returns. It will have been nice to know from the beginning. Never coming back here again. Very disappointed and sad cause I’m a good customer and always buying things from Ashley. Will be taking my business elsewhere
I had a horrible experience. The person who tried to help me finance my couch took 1 hr + because she kept putting wrong information into my account. Finally, after creating 3 accounts everything was good to go. However, she accidentally order the protection plan whenever I told her multiple times I did not want the protection plan. Then, she asked if I just wanted to keep it since she did not know how to remove it from my account. Now it is my responsibility to get it removed from my account days after purchasing the couch, which I am still unsure if I can remove it. I would’ve walked out of the store 15 minutes into this ordeal if she didn’t already have my social security number and bank account information. Also, this ordeal caused me to be late to pick up my dog from day care, which resulted in $50 penalty that the attendant knew about. I would not recommend and will not be returning.

I've had questions for this store specifically for a few months. It's not urgent so I call when I remember, but every single time I do no one answers. In the last 3 months I've probably called 20 times and it's either not answered, answered then hung up, or I can hear employees talking in the background. I don't understand what's so hard about picking up the phone, not everyone can just easily go up there because the employees don't feel like doing their job.
Unacceptable customer service!!! The worst customer service I've ever encountered . I received a defective product and have been calling for weeks and weeks to make a claim. Since then, I have only been able to reach one person who promised to have a technician call me to set up a time and day, but I have not yet received a call. When my husband contacted and spoke with someone, they asked him to email pictures, which he did, and they informed him that the damage was caused by wear and tear even though we had only owned the sectional for 6 months!!!!

Ordered King Bed Frame and paid for delivery, they arrived and put bed together, they asked if I was going to put box spring on, stated yes, I asked if all was tight they stated yes and they left. Went to put box springs on, saw none of the nuts were tight, barely in stud, I tightened them, got to foot board it was missing a stud and nut, tried to get drivers back call numbers which are all down or messed up, got a hold of call center who left me on hold for ever and never returned, call 3rd time asked for supervisor was transferred after waiting 15 mins to a VM, funky after several more attempts got a hold of someone who put a ticket in and told me someone would call me, been over a week no calls, nothing, try calling store get message too busy try texting, can’t get anyone to talk to. NOT NUMBER ONE IN MY BOOK. WORST SERVICE EVER. Just emailed per your response… Did a review and they responded suggesting I email them so they could talk to me about the issues, that’s Funny, I have emailed them twice and no responses, guess my issues were not important enough to them. Like I said WORST SERVICE EVER.

It is beautiful, however, the only drawback was the color which was light gray, I was wanting cream or beige... But the Sectional was so pretty... I said YES !!!

I ordered this sofa from Ashley's in Mesquite, felted in love with the color. As you can see these two sofas are different colors. I have been trying to get this issue resolved. The service at this location is so awful, unpleasant and distressing. I can never get to speak to a manger. They always put me on hold, then hang up on me. I call back no answer. I am very disappointed.

First off let me say, today I wasn’t exactly having a good day. However Kamella (spell check) && Ms. Vee gave me service so great& ensured I left with exactly what I wanted when it came to my bedroom set that I’m already ready to return to work with them for my living room set. The entire experience was amazing & they never made me feel pressured. Kamella allowed me to walk the store & find what I wanted without the extra “car salesman” feeling. I recommend everyone stops but to visit them.
I had an issue with an order that was cancelled due to lack of communication on my end. Evelyn at the Mesquite location assisted me and made sure the matter was resolved in a timely fashion. Great prices but pickup process sucks!!! No ramp or proper loading dock and was told there was no one to help because our salesman had gotten off! Too bad we went from happy customers to shocked and frustrated that we were told to come back on Mother’s Day because there would be more staff after our salesman said we had til 8:30 to pickup on Saturday.

This store has inexperienced employees, I was sold a table that was on sale and when I went to pick up the table they told me that the employee didn't know she had to sell the table with the chairs together as a set. Then they are selling the items double the price then online because they say they are a franchise and their prices are different. I bought the black leather chairs for $149.99 each but online they are 2 for $149.99. I definitely won't be buying at this location again. I have been an Ashley's customer for a long time and I won't be coming back.
We bought 2 recliners and had them delivered. Once the people left we noticed one of the chairs were not sitting right. We couldn’t understand why. My husband turned the chair over and the wood was busted. We called the store they said someone would be out Monday , never arrived. We called them and they said they canceled the order because the part did not arrive. We told them how do you know what part we needed because they had not come out and checked. They wanted pictures, we got them. We are very dissatisfied. They need to replace the the chair and stop making excuses.

Very disappointed I even paid warranty for my dining table. I love the dining table. It was beautiful went with my kitchen, but I did 3 service orders so that they could come and look at it and no one would come and look at it and they said it was not covered under warranty, the paint is coming off came off right away. You don’t even have to scrape it for it to come off there’s like a white layer on top of it. Now I’m going to have to sell my table so that I can buy one I really want but this time I will go to Havertys, so regret selling my table from there that was a very great quality table Will not be going to Ashley‘s anymore

Worst store ever on this planet. Don’t ever go and waste your time here to make a purchase who don’t ever care for their customers and their time. i went to the store and made a purchase for a desk table. We made the payment and waited for 2+ hr to complete the paperwork. After we received the paperwork my spouse updated that the item that we agreed to and made the payment for is not the same that we agreed to purchase and signing upon in the paperwork. We were being informed by the representative Mr Antonio rosila attending us that the purchased item had a wrong tag/label attached to it and he updated he was looking into it to do something about it. After waiting for almost 1 hr we were being updated that we need to make more payment and complete the purchase. The item that we had purchased was a on sale item. But due to the tag which was wrongly attached by them and was not our fault, they did not even cared that the customer invested so much of their precious time ,they did not do anything and ever cared to make some adjustments but gave a false promise that they were trying to fix the issue which never happened but instead they were asking to pay more for the item. In short, please don’t waster your time and energy in going to this store who doesn’t have even care about the customer, their time and finally even are very poor in offering hospitality towards their poor customers who happen to visit them. DONT MAKE A PURCHASE HERE AND WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME !! WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!

Wish I could give ZERO stars! Went in on Presidents’ Day to get a new bed for my new born and got a bed set and was told it would be delivered by the end of that week! Waited all day Friday for my delivery only for them to say it would get delivered the following week Wednesday. Then the Wednesday my delivery got here and parts were missing so they took my whole order back! I was confirmed it would be here the next Tuesday and now I get a call saying it won’t be here until Thursday, my baby and wife have been sleeping on the floor because of these delays! Unbelievable!!

I purchased a power sofa at the location in Frisco. When it was delivered, the power supply was missing. The delivery guys had to call customer support like anyone else and sit on hold, twice. We were told it would be a week or two before the power supply would be delivered. I took a chance and went to the location in Mesquite and explained the location to store manager Alex. He was able to find a solution and get me going. That is what customer service is all about. The next time I'm looking for furniture, this will be my first stop.

My first experience was great if you’re looking for furniture ask for Oliver. However my experience today was horrible. My boyfriend and I had been to the store multiple times before and we’re finally ready to pull the trigger today. I told myself if Oliver wasn’t there I wasn’t going to purchase but my boyfriend insisted we get it done today. We ended up working with a woman named Irene and I suggest you steer clear of her. We asked for the entire bedroom set and an additional nightstand somehow I walked away without a key piece that I wanted. I am an accountant for a living and when it was time to talk numbers she basically lied to me. I had to get a her supervisor Glen involved and he tried to make it seem as if I was the one being difficult when his sales associate was just bad with math and adding things that I hadn’t even asked for. All while trying to gaslight me. Steer clear unless you’re going to work with Oliver. I will next time stand my ground and wait to work the person that I started with.

I would give negative stars if I could. Purchased warranty for my couch love seat set and have been waiting for almost a year to get it fixed. Every time I call I’ve been put on hold for a long time just to get hung up on. I went up to the store about 2 weeks ago. The manager Alex gave me his phone number and I’ve reached out a few times, left him a voicemail since then, yet no action has been taken on their part to fix my furniture, which honestly was not as good of quality that I expected. I haven’t even received a call back. I wish I would have purchased my furniture somewhere else.

I’ve spent 10,000.00$ ordering a new bed set and sectional at the beginning of November. I’ve had 3 different delivery dates for the bed itself. It’s now December 6 and I called to get an update and now I’m told it’s on back order again until the end of December. I was originally told that the delivery for the rest of my order would be November 17, keep in mind they wrote the delivery dates on my paperwork for each purchase. I’m still trying to get an update on my order so I can have the bed that I purchased delivered. I keep getting the go round every time I call. It’s just a bed. I don’t understand why it is so hard to give me a direct answer or the product that I ordered. I paid cash up front and paid for delivery. This is ridiculous. I do NOT recommend Ashley to anyone any longer. Sadly everything in my home I’ve purchased from Ashley but the buck stops here. I have had enough! I just want the remainder of my purchase. Try somewhere else first if you appreciate people actually trying to work with you or care about you as a person, instead of a hard hit on your credit or a sale/no sale. This lady seemed very attentitive when we first entered, took us to see something comparable but not exactly what we wanted. Then immediately to paperwork. Not a problem, but If I've already said I wasn't approved online then the sales person should take that information and utilize it before hitting your credit for a no sale. Because she literally gave up on us when she saw how much interest my loan was going to be. I was doing my own math and she literally had nothing to offer us after that and was playing on the computer with little to no eye contact after she informed us of what our one singular option was. This is now almost a week later and I couldn't let it go, so I needed to post this ridiculous occurrence. Now I still have no couch and over 12 points dropped on my credit score. No thanks to Ashley Furniture 😒

Ashley furniture is not a forthcoming business they were dishonest in their advertising efforts for black Friday upon entering the store they had marked everything up only to try selling it at the price it should've been marked down from and they had nothing half off. They advertised 50% off and had a list of what they were trying to get rid of and it was overpriced.. these same item were at Nebraska furniture and they were half that this of the cost Ashley was pushing

Ashley's Forthwoth warehouse sucks:: 1st I went to the Ashley's Grand Prairie warehouse to pickup my order. Once I get there I'm told my dinning table and chairs were moved to Ashley's Fort Worth warehouse. Once I get there the front desk girls tell me it will be a hour wait, which is fine...an hour passes and still not call. I go back to get an estimated time and the young front desk girl had attitude and bad customer service (the older one was nicer)...she keeped saying "idk, idk" Like girl it takes two seconds to look up how many more people are ahead of me and get a CORRECT estimated time. The young one needs to get an attitude check. 😒 Long story short it was a 3 hour (almost 4 hours) wait. Also if they could do the bare minimum and get a log book so we can get an estimated time ourselves since front desk won't do it, would be great. P.s. my advised just pay $50 for shipping it takes longer to get to you but less hassle.

I’m changing My review because I was originally told my order would be delivered 11/30/2022 by the salesperson who assisted me in the store. I waited all day for my delivery. I contacted the store that evening when it was clear my order was not being delivered. The store manager informed me my mattress was on back order. No one informed me of this. Clearly I am disappointed. According to the Manager my sales person no longer works there that is why I was not informed later that the mattress was on back order. Someone should’ve followed up on his customers.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION ! I purchased roughly over 15k of furniture in October. Majority of the furniture was delivered but I was slated to receive the (2) full beds on November 1st. However, they did not arrive on the truck. When I called they stated that the beds would be delivered November 8th. I went to the store to speak with my sales representative about the delivery and he said that the beds will not be delivered until December due to the fact that the footboard and rails are not slated to arrive till then. I requested the floor model and was declined that option. We searched the entire store for items that are in stock and nothing up to par was available. I then requested a refund for the nightstand ($191). However, the store stated that they could not return the MATCHING nightstand to the bed because it was already delivered. I am very upset with this. The store should NOT send out pieces of the bed "SET" if they have not received all of the parts of the SET. The order should've been separated into multiple fulfillments. Now I am required to keep a random piece of furniture to a "Set". Their policies are not geared towards customer satisfaction.

Sales rep Kamea was great so no issues with store but where is the follow up by Ashley? Made a very expensive purchase. It was delivered on time with good communication but no follow-up on delivery experience? There were several sharp staples left exposed. Thankfully no small children in the home. I had to crawl under table with pliers and remove? Based on other reviews this seems to be a trend with this company.
Worst costumer Service I have ever experienced, called the atore six times and not one person had a clue how to fix my order for a mistake they did on work sheet on delivery address !!! I took the day off to recieve my order and turns out it was cancelled and now I come all the way back to the store and I do not have my furniture and I am requesting a refund and I have to Pay a fee for something that i do not have in my possession nor do I own .. If you are looking to purchase furniture don’t buy it here ! I ordered a bed frame & 2 night stands in January 2022. They told me then it would be delivered in April! Which I thought was a long time but with the times I figured that would be ok. Then it was sept 9th then October 1 then October 10. Still no furniture. I just have a hard time believing that nobody else has ordered this same stuff?? I mean is it being walked here from China?! Ashley says they make their own furniture so what’s the hold up?? Worse Furniture Customer Service Ever. We bought some End Tables and drove from Fate, TX to Grand Prairie, TX to pick them up. Got the two boxes home and opened them up and the top of one of the end table looks like termites or ants had eaten into the wood. There is actually 18 holes in the top surface of the End Table. I called the distribution center and a manager by the name of Rob refused to exchange the table. He says that I excepted it and he was not responsible. I stated that I excepted a boxed item with undisclosed damages. Now no one is answering at the Mesquite, TX Store where I purchased the tables.

Entered the store with one thing in mind, a black sofa A salesmen approached me, Carlos, and when I asked about a black sofa he took me to every option Ashley's had within 3/4mins. When I ask about the measurements of the one I was interested in he offered to text them to me and also sent a picture. His knowledge of the merchandise was excellent and saved me lots of time. Going home to measure.

Awful experience with Ashley Furniture distribution. Went to the store, but had to order online to get the couch I wanted. They have now messed up my delivery twice, and I have spoken to 5 different agents about this situation. Not one person has been helpful, or given anything besides a pre-approved, pre-written response. I have had two people simply hang up during our call. No one at this company has any accountability. They all simply pass the ball to the next person, knowing full well the customer won't be receiving any real assistance. By the way, when the Owner inevitably replies to this review, the "number" they"ll refer me to is a ROBOT CHAT - once again proving that NO ONE in this company is paid enough to care. Read the reviews from previous customers and check out the reviews for their distribution warehouse in Mesquite. Take your business to any other furniture place.

My family has shopped at this Ashley Furniture for over 20 years. They have always had fantastic customer service. I went into Ashley yesterday, September 9, 2022, to purchase a mattress for my guest room. I explained to Braylon Russell, love the name btw, that I currently have a custom hybrid mattress for myself and that I wanted a hybrid for my guest room that would be comfortable for side sleepers. Note, the majority of the people in my family are side sleepers. He guided me to their selection and provided me with valuable insights into their inventory that ultimately saved me money. EVERYONE LOVES SAVING MONEY! All of the staff that I or my family has ever dealt with have been knowledgeable, and pay attention to the details of what you are saying so that they can make suggestions to help you find what you are truly desiring. They do this even if their ultimate suggestion is that you will find what you are looking for with one of their competitors. Shopping here you can expect honesty, transparency, and service with a smile.

Our experience at this location was great because of the service we received from the young lady from Hawaii. She was very helpful and informative on the whole process of buying our new couches, we also appreciated that she let us look around without following us around the store or trying to pressure us into buying anything. If we shop at Ashley’s again it will be because of her service and effort. Make sure she gets a raise asap.

Went to Ashley’s and the Sales Associate (Hawaiian Girl) was great! My fiancé and I were not sure what we wanted. She did not pressure us to purchase anything and showed us exactly what we wanted. We were pre-approved financing but for some reason she was told she had to do something special. Turns out she just had to place the order. She didn’t give up despite being told by two different people it wouldn’t work. She was tenacious and ensured we were able to get our furniture. I left the store happy with furniture and at a great price.

This is our second purchase from Braylon at Ashley in Mesquite, Texas in 1 week. Braylon goes beyond the call of duty and makes purchasing furniture and accessories an extremely pleasant experience. 4 stars because I’m not a huge fan of most of their styles and selection, but I needed a casual, comfy, functional couch and recliner quick and the guy (Stephen) who helped me at the Mesquite , TX store was great and super patient with me.

I feel like they didn’t fully explain everything. We had to ask a lot of questions. When we asked how much the extended warranty and delivery fee were going to be, we were told, “like a hundred or two dollars more.” When it was actually $900 more. I just wanted all of the details and information up front.

The sales staff (in Mesquite) was friendly and eager to see us leave with a purchase. They were not pushy at all. We found a living room set that we loved, but we didn't like the price. The manager and salesperson worked with us to reach a sales price that was within our budget. The 2-man delivery team was outstanding! It was led by Marco Curry. The men respected my home and worked quickly to set up our furniture. They were personable, yet professional and very knowledgeable of the company's new delivery practices, which they informed us of. Our furniture was delivered within the projected timeframe and I could not be happier with my experience with the Ashley Home Furniture Team.
My folks and I were just there this week, George Levertte The Matress Doctor was great. No pressure sales and very knowledgeable on products. I'm looking forward to my new matress and the furniture my folks are getting.

Phillip Jenoure made my experience shopping at Ashley a pleasure. He was friendly, fair and professional. We have an odd shaped room we needed a sectional for with specific measurements. Ashley had a discontinued Sectional that even on clearance was out of my price range. Phillip worked with me to arrive at a price I could live with and I think we were both satisfied with the transaction. So many salespeople seem hokey or pushy, Phillip was genuine and helpful. I didn't opt for the performance protection plan because even though Ashley sells it your contract is with a third party company. Ashley does offer a 1 year warranty which frankly doesn't seem long but is better than nothing. I’ve never bought Ashley furniture. Im hoping this sectional holds up, it does seem very well made.

Went in a few weeks ago looking for a couch and Jeb (the manager) helped me instantly! Found a couch and Jeb was super friendly!
I got a good deal and the sales man was very nice and knowledgeable of everything. My problem is that I was given a specific date for my delivery and I knew I had to wait, but only 2 days after buying my furniture, I received a message saying it was ready to schedule a delivery, and when I called to schedule it, they gave me even a further date, and that really messed up my plans because now I’m gonna have to wait for almost the entire month to get them delivered. If I would have known the delivery was going to take that long, I would have chosen a different set or a different store.
Chad spent extra time and effort in making sure I found everything I was looking for in the way of furniture. He definitely went the extra mile in providing a great experience. Jeb in bedding was also of great help in my future bedding purchase. Great team effort!

I know this will be my last purchase from Ashley!!! I ordered office furniture over six months ago. I got the first piece right away. I just received part 2 of my Oder and now waiting for my final piece. Never again!! Calling customer service is a joke!!! When I called Customer Service to confirm my delivery time, I first spoke with someone who stated his name was Lewis; he was horrible. This young man stated I didn’t need to confirm my delivery; however, the call ( recording ) I received told me to confirm. He was speaking very fast, trying to rush me off the phone, and this joker lied. After my call ended with Lewis, I called CS back, got someone different, and told her the same thing I told Lewis, plus I stated I wanted to make sure that Lewis had confirmed my order. She stated I had not been confirmed previously. She confirmed my delivery time and told me to call back on July 14 regarding my last piece. She was super friendly and helpful. The guys who delivered my order were professional. But at this point, I’m super mad. I have gotten the run around for months, and on top of everything else, I’m still waiting

I have shopped here before and it was a quick and painless experience. My only negative for my experience on 6.28.22 was that the sales rep I transacted with was extremely unprofessional and cursed and said the F word constantly. As an example I asked him if I would need to pay anything before I left and he said F### no. I was shocked that a sales person trying to make money off of me would act and speak in such a way. I appreciate the new sectional couch Ashley's but something has to be done about your sales force and their extreme unprofessionalism. Thanks
I reached out to the manager and haven’t heard back. I believe I’ve given it amble time. I obtained financing from Ashley Furniture for a fairly large amount, in addition to having private financing. I popped into the Mesquite location for the sale this past Saturday and wasn’t greeted, although the people directly in front of me were. A gentleman came up to me shortly afterward to make sure I was finding everything okay. No big deal right, upon walking the store I couldn’t help but notice that every sales person that came up to me was black. The only white guy who even spoke, didn’t make eye contact and acted as if he were in a rush to get some place. One even appeared to walk around a beam to not have to cross paths. I don’t know the assumption but this location needs a culture check. I just turned and walked out.

Charles (CJ) is the best! We arrived and no pressure. He asked for specifics and he showed us a reclining couch and was perfect. He did show options but his choice was best. Then recliners. He showed us what he believed my husband would like and it was if he knew us for years. We bought a recliner and couch and will be back for additional when we are in need. My 84 year old father bought a dresser from this store. Delivery was set up for June 18th they called and said it would be Wednesday. Ok a delay, no problem. Wednesday gets here and they deliver it to the wrong apartment. Then they go and get it and bring it to my Dad. They set the dresser inside the door, do not uncrate it and when Dad asks about them setting it up, they turn around and leave never answering his question!! THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN!! Never again!!!

This will be my last time ordering from Ashley. The store items are great and Sales is helpful. The delivery takes forever on some things not all. I asked to make a change to my order maybe 5 days after I left the store and was told that revised contract would be emailed to me. It wasn't. I have called the store number option 3 several times and the line continues to ring then call is disconnected????? Ashley has always had such a great reputation, but from this experience I cannot see why. Feels like im getting the run around and follow up is not the best. Regret doing business here.
I am only giving this one star because I have to give it a star. I ordered a head board set January 27th. They said it would get here mid-May because they are backed up because of covid. Completely understood, we expected there to be a wait period, no problem. I called May 22nd and they said I should hear something May 26th. I heard nothing so I called back June 2nd, they said it would be June 9th. Called back today, June 14th, and they said it won't be until SEPTEMBER. I ordered this in JANUARY. I understand back order, but don't tell us that we should expect it mid-May and now we have to wait 8 months to HOPEFULY get it. If we knew it would take this long, we wouldn't have gotten it. I absolutely hate being this person, but at this point it is extremely frustrating and those reading reviews need to know that this is happening. I don't want it happening to others.

I ordered a couch and an oversized ottoman. My couch got delivered with an oversized ottoman but in the wrong color. Okay, no big deal. I call customer service and they say that I have to drive 2 hours to return the ottoman even though they were at fault. After going back and forth back and forth they FINALLY said they would deliver the correct ottoman and take away the wrong one. I confirmed with the associate at the store multiple times over text and over the phone that the ottoman that was going to be delivered was the correct one. On delivery day, surprise surprise, wrong ottoman. I talked to the associate again and when I told him that the small ottoman was delivered this time he tried to tell me there was no oversized ottoman???? Sir I talked to you SEVERAL times and every time I said oversized ottoman in slate gray and not once did this man say "there is no oversized ottoman" he was wrong, obviously. And it took over 2 months to get the ottoman for my couch.

Terrible Horrible Experience!!! Do not recommend anybody to purchase furniture from this Store at all! I never received my furniture and ended up having to cancel the entire order after waiting months for it!!! Was given different ETA every time I would call to schedule pick up so dissatisfied and to top it off now I have too wait 21 days to receive a Check in the mail when I paid Cash for the furniture in the store!!!!!!

Sales was great and met our needs financially. Made our budget. We paid for the 5 year protection plan, delivery was a third party, truck was dirty, plastic on furniture was torn in many places, once it was inside, I found several dirt marks and stains in the areas where the plastic was torn. The drivers only cared that they dropped the furniture off, not that there was problem. I sent an email to the address listed on my contract, emails bounced back. Called the number on the contract and it rang ten times each time I called, then hung up. Never an answer! Called the sales guy, referred to contract. Called Ashley Furniture’s 800 number and was told that we could have it cleaned ourselves and they would reimbursed or replaced. We told them that we paid for a service and was sold that things like this would be covered. They would be responsible and we felt that they should not only honor that but the fact that their delivery service or DC ruined our furniture and delivered regardless. They said they would get back to us and finally after a few days, we called and now they will just replace and schedule the swap on another call! I am furious and have asked my bank to dispute the charges! This customers experience reflects poor management and poor execution of a vendor and responsibility of all! Too bad, really liked the furniture we chose and but felt betrayed by their ability to make it right! What are we to think later when we want to file a claim on our service plans!

I ordered online in January. I saw a President’s Day bargain that I got the price adjusted. The 5-6 week wait time ended and I hadn’t heard anything, so I went into a store. Once inside, I saw the furniture wouldn’t arrive for 9-months at best, and one item wasn’t slated until 12/2030. On my way out, I saw the furniture set in the store. I asked all the right questions, whether the floor model was for sale (it isn’t), and whether I could cancel the online order and repurchase it there, at the same price as online, because they could deliver by May. I got all the handshakes and commitments on Tuesday. I canceled the online order Wednesday and returned today to tender the purchase. Suddenly, they wouldn’t honor the President’s Day price and tried to low key threaten me, saying I couldn’t get those prices anyway because the sale ended. Even when I showed him an Ashley sales receipt, he doubted my original online discounts. I didn’t get ignorant or belligerent. I just walked him through what the confusion is, that the online store and the retail store operate as competitors, and the Synchrony credit service sucks, too. Once I get my furniture, I’m one less headache for Ashley furniture to worry about pleasing.
We requested a refund at another furniture store and went to Ashley. We had a much better experience and will not have to wait another 3 months for furniture. That’s after already waiting 5 months! Free greeted us when we walked in and was patient when we changed our mind a few times. In the end she got the sale. Thanks so much.

Michael was our sales representative. He was very helpful, patient and met our requirements. We are happy with our purchase. Delivery service is terrible. I confirmed a date and they didn’t show up. I called customer service and they informed me the delivery date was changed due to delay on shipment and that our delivery date had been changed. No one had the courtesy to communicate these changes to me or asked if I was available with the date they selected for delivery. I asked to speak to a manger …rep said of course but you will be on hold for about 30 minutes…so I hung up before he could transfer me. Per the rep, they NEVER communicate changes to the customer. I will now have an empty living room for a week.

The worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. Now I know to stick with Nebraska Furniture Mart. I’m happy to update this review should it be fixed correctly, but I am incredibly unhappy. The headboard was supposed to have lamps attached. We are clearly missing those. The left side of the headboard isn’t fully attached and it’s incredibly wobbly. Missing screws at the end of the bed. And a completely broken drawer handle. The delivery team rushed out so fast. Sat on hold for almost an hour trying to get through to ANYONE. The person I finally got through to had an awful connection so I could only hear bits and pieces. I have requested a fully new set along with a new delivery team. How does someone ethically leave a home with an item looking like this???

Jeb was great. Helped my boyfriend and I with our 2 young kids and had so much patience with me while I was indecisive on mattresses and also a bed set. As well as my kids, one required a bandaid and the other decided to nap on the table after jumping on a mattress for a while. He was great. Store was VERY clean and all the furniture was quality and good priced. All the other salesmen and women were just as nice when they were walking past with their customers. Very good experience and would definitely be choosing Ashley again.

He didnt hav e the Sales tablet to make the customer that this will be a "HIGH Pressure" sales. Mr Glen Pointed to the areas that had the sofa that met my specs. After asking about the availability (no haggle) .. Made the deal with in 45min.. of walking in.. Sofa Recliner with a Friday the 18th delivery date. Mr Glen gave his in put on past experience on how the material and the warranty has changed (NO HYPE)..vs the past IF i had a need to come back.. I would seek him out personally

This is the second time I have bought from this store. The first time was in the store and it took 8 months to receive our piece when we were told 3 months (before COVID) In October 2021 I have order bar stools online (hoping maybe different experience) and we were given an estimation of 12-14 weeks which is about 3 months or so. I totally understand that there is and was a hold on shipments, trucks, and all! But it’s now hitting 6 month period as I was given another extended date of April 9. When I first ordered it was January 11!!! When I call in I ask if it has even been processed or anything and they state they haven’t even made it. Again I get the hold and materials but maybe give realistic time frame! Just like Amazon they give you a delivery date and if they can’t honor it they have to give you a partial refund if not full (look in the details and user agreements) I am also told I can’t get any money back or anything!
Chad was very helpful & explained to me all the different mattress options available. He was very patient & didn’t try to pressure me to make a purchase right away. I feel like I got a great deal & will sleep comfortably from now on! Mgr. Alex Gonzalez was very friendly as well.

Disappointed with the sleep specialist at this location. He showed no interest in helping me select a mattress. He did not assist with the process of exchanging my tempurpedic mattress while in store today. I had to leave and call customer care to get the help I needed, just to find out that it has to be done in store. The location in Arlington has better customer service.

Glenn Woolsey is "The Man to See!" Our situation wasn't an easy situation and somewhat odd. This rep worked tirelessly with my husband and myself. He was extraordinary. Doing everything that he possibly could, within guidelines, to assure that we received the best deal that fit our budget. Extremely patient and literally took care of us. We purchased a Lift chair recliner on 2-14 and it was available for delivery in three days. We did shop around for this specialty chair and Ashley’s offered the best price and delivery time frame.

Our sales associate Greg was great, courtesy and respectful. Greg did not pressure us and gave us the time and space for us to look around the show room alone. Greg met up with us 15 minutes later and informed us what was on sale and our discount if we made purchase. We purchased what we were looking for and more we also purchased a queen size mattress.

Had a really positive experience today, considering the current environment of not being able to find what I wanted in stock due to shipping constraints. The guy I worked with spent about two hours with me going through options until finally settling in a compromise that worked. Got financing and was out the door fairly quickly. Would recommend considering Ashley’s as part of your furniture shopping experience.before buying the first thing you come across somewhere else.
I am so pleased of the great customer service Michael and the Manger gave to Jim and I. I needed a recliner sofa quickly do to surgery. Store has average selection however nothing is ever in stock. We were told our furniture 'may' be available to ship in 5 months, maybe not. This has been our experience with Ashley for the last 8 years, every time we go to look at furniture to purchase, their prices are on the high end and they never have availability for minimum of 5-6 months; hence why we have never purchased from them

Bought a love seat,our sales person was Charles,he likes to be called CT so that's how we called him. He was very nice and very helpful,answered all of our questions and made the buying process very good. We have bought from Ashley before and have always been pleased so we were more than happy to give them our business.
We came in and Michael immediately helped us find a couch. He almost immediately found us what we were looking for in our price range. He was a great help, friendly and knowledgeable. He walked us through the entire process and had answers to all our questions. The product seemed great quality and we look forward to receiving it. For our first visit ever to the store is was a great experience and michael deserves recognition for his hard work.
Ashley is my family's favoriture furniture store and my first choice too. We purchased a bed set with mattress today and the branch manager gave us a very good deal. He was very polite, professional and well manner. The Sales Rep was very informative. However, he treated me like I'm a homeless person trying to get some freebies or wandering around for no reason. He was very pushy and not giving us time to think to make decide on the purchase. For example, we looked at three bed set and for each one at the first glance or just asking for the price he'd be like "so this is what wana purchase tonight haaan" "you dont get the deal if you purchase it later" " you reallly wana get it?" "We want comittment" like realllly??? I did not go to Ashley to buy a coffee mug..I and my wife needed time to list three or four sets and choose one we like which needs some time. I felt like hez putting a gun on my back to purchase stuff. Not even letting me talk to my wife to discuss stuff and intefering our conversation. Secondly, it was all going well until I was about to check out. Initially it was handled by the manager who habdled everything perfectly. It was then handled by the mattress expert as the manager had to deal with other customers. I made the payment using two different cards which unduly made the mattress guys suspicious. He started getting me forms to sign off saying "its for your protection and my protection" " prevent unauthorised payments on my card". The form required details like driver's license, name etc for verification that I'm really the holder of card! Reallly! Spending over 6 Grand..is this the experience I deserve! Again, the branch manager took care of the situation well and prevented further torture.

He showed us many options that were tailored to our wants and we found one that is perfect for us! The store was clean, the staff was helpful and there were so many options to choose from.

My mother visited the Ashley's located at 1330 Town East Boulevard in mesquite Tx on September 26, 2021 and paid cash for furniture and delivery. They were given a delivery date of December 22, 2021. This is highly unusual and suspicious to say the least. On December 22, 2021 the store failed to deliver any of the furniture as promised, so my mother went back to the store concerned there issues with the delivery. On arrival, the sales person inform my mother that two pieces of the furniture would be delivered by February. That's ridiculous!! I understand that were are in a global Pandemic, but waiting six months for furniture that was paid for in cash raises suspicion, deception and shows bad customer service. So, buyer beware, this is unprecedented.

I came in to buy a 5 drawer chest, they welcomed me and told me that if I needed help they will be there to help me, then they gave me my space, after a lil bit, she came back and educated me by telling me how easy she can make things for me, long story short I bought bedroom set for all the kids for a very comfortable price…I don’t have to worry about delivery or putting the furniture together, they did it all for me…I’m so glad I came into the store, best Christmas Ever. 😎
After 20 years we decided to get new living room furniture. We went to six of the namebrand furniture stores and settled on a sofa and recliner at Ashley‘s in Mesquite. We visited three times before we finally made a decision. Glenn was our Sales person and each time was so very patient and informative. Alex the Store Manger always stopped by when we visited and knew exactly what we had looked at on prior visits! When the furniture arrived, the crew not only set the new pieces up, they carefully loaded our old set in my truck. We decided to return the recliner and get another sofa—Glenn and Alex took care of all the arrangements without a hassle—they are a great team! Thanks guys!
The worst store ever ... We came in the store at 12pm on sunday they just opened, We walked around for 30 min, store workers walking by Us but not a single person asked Us if we needed help... There were more than 10 employees. Go to Nebraska furniture.

You guys need to format your delivery and refunding process better...like...baaad. I don't know why it takes 2 months + to refund a few k I don't care what the excuse is. At first, my experience was great. People are nice (DJ was great when I called). The 2nd time I visited, the sales guy was following me like a hawk. I get it, you're on commission, but calm down. Still bought something though. Actually, most of my furniture I ordered from Ashley. I knew I was going to have to wait a little while for my order, but I didn't think I was going to have to wait SIX months. It will be a miracle if I get the rest of my furniture before I move again. I was told that I'll get my dresser this week, but we shall see. Still waiting on the bed....

I’ve been dealing with lie after lie when it comes to my delivery and when you call the customer reps are rude and will hang up on you after waiting 20 mins to get someone. I’ve been hung up on twice today alone. They brought my dresser and did not bring the tools to put the mirror on and I still have yet to get my headboard after being told it was in stock by the sales rep before I even made the purchase. This was at the beginning of October. This is ridiculous to say the least!

My husband and I bought a whole living room set from Ashley Furniture. Our purchased set included a sofa, love seat and a chair and a half with an ottoman. We paid dearly for their bogus 5 year protection plan that the sales team really pushes. The plan promises technicians to come out and work on the stains or defective issues for free and if they cannot they are to replace the piece(s) free of charge. I called within the 1st year for spilled drinks and an unknown substance that stained the furniture (we have children, things happen). I went through a long process, no call back. No visit. Time lapsed , about 6 months, and I called again for wax that spilled on my furniture, in hopes they would come out. It has been months. No call, no show, no email, no ANYTHING. Plus, the furniture has worn terribly bad with seats that broke down and looked floppy and lumped in parts, and from day one the ottoman was off center and looks lopsided. We are an active family and really do no sit around much. There is no TV in this room. We are so disappointed. Please take my advice, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!

Well started off great order 2 kids beds for my boys back in May of 2021 and was suppose to arrive within a month. That month cameby and went and the end of July, then middle of August then end of September the 29th finally got my delivery date right my boys have been sleeping on mattresses on the floor since June because I have been getting the run around from Ashley and their workers. Back to delivery NOTHING NOT A WORD A CALL OR ANYTHING was suppose to be between 1-3. Now I'm pretty tried of all this save your self some head ache and go to idea or another store don't get stuck waiting months for furniture....

That means I'll basically be moving into an empty home for several months. I came in frustrated and at my wits end because I don't want to start over shopping for the perfect pieces somewhere else... but Quanyin was able to provide information that made my situation less stressful and also recommended the perfect mattress for my new bedroom. This was my first time shopping at Ashley’s and after my experience this store will not see another dime of my money. I went into the store in June to pick out the furniture I wanted. The sales guy informed me he would input all the furniture and text and/ or call with the total. This never happened. I go back to the store because now it’s nearing my close date for my new home and I have no furniture. I meet Chad, and he tells me my order was never placed, but he was more than happy to help get the order setup. I show him the dining room, bedroom and living room sets I wanted. As promised he did reach out with a quote. I paid cash for all the furniture. Here’s where the issue arises…..the floor model dining room set I chose had three chairs and a bench. I chose the set specifically for the bench. When I get my delivery I have four chairs and no bench. The delivery guy tells my mom it’s on the next scheduled delivery. I knew that was not accurate because that delivery is only for my bed and living room tables. I called the store numerous times and no one answered the phone. As soon I get off work I headed to the store. The assistant manager tells me oh it looks like it was entered incorrectly, but for $365 you can get the bench. I was furious. I spent over $6k in that store and now you want more money. NOT HAPPENING!!! He nor the actual manager were willing to admit their error and correct it. I have emailed corporate and will be following up with corporate on Monday. I only gave the store two stars because Chad was very helpful and kind. Honestly, I wanted to get a full refund and take my money elsewhere.

Horrible , got a 6 thousand dollar bed room suite was told I would get it in 14 days now I’m being told it would take 2 months , why was I told 14 days in the store !!! And no one NO ONE ASSWERS phone in their stores !!! Try to call main office they was no help they had no answers for me !!!!

I bought a bed frame here and the staff is helpful. My compliant is that no one ever answers the phone when you call to get a status on your order or to ask general questions.

I cannot say this enough: WORST FURNITURE PLACE EVER!!!!!! Not only did they keep delaying our living room furniture from the start, I had to call them to figure that out once our delivery day arrived and no one came. Delivery day finally came and OF COURSE they brought the wrong color chair. Why should I expect everything to go smoothly at this point? Delivery guys tell me to call my sales representative to get the correct color furniture (that we already waited MONTHS for) but ABSOLUTELY NO ONE answers the dang phone at this location. I have called all day, left multiple voicemails and I have not heard from one person. I am at the point where I would rather return everything and spend my money elsewhere and GLADLY wait another couple months to get the correct furniture and have a much better experience. I promise you, spend your time and money elsewhere. Save yourselves from a massive headache.

I will never order or recommend anyone to order from Ashley’s Furniture. I ordered and paid pull price for a bedroom set. It’s been 4 months already and now they have extend it till late October. It’s very discouraging to see that it is taking about a year for me to even get something that I paid for full price. That’s still subject to change and they are still stating that that’s only delivery to get to the warehouse and they still need to call me when they are scheduled to deliver to me. At this point, don’t waste your time or money. Please seek elsewhere that’s not going to take ages to arrive or get to you.

I came in Ashley HomeStore today looking for a gray sofa for my living room. I was able to find the perfect sofa with the help of two superb salesmen, Julien and Alfed (who was in training). I was happy to know that the sofa will be delivered to my home in two weeks. I plan on going back to purchase a bedroom set.

It was a very nice store. The place had some good deals on the furniture. The guy who helped me pick out my furniture was very much helpful. The shipment was explained very well although the delay of the furniture was not as satisfying but it’s no one’s fault. Good store and awesome deals on some furniture.

I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service and invalid information I was given by one of your sales reps. The lack of integrity and morality to make a sale has me frustrated with not only the staff but the company. I came in and spoke with the sales representative Ophelia about an issue that I had with a Rooms to go order and how an order that I placed in February with a delivery date of May 2021 was then pushed back to September 2021. The sales representative reassured me that I wouldn’t have the same issue with Ashley Furniture. However, I as of today I found out that the order with a delivery date of July 6th is now being pushed to August 10. I was extremely transparent with the sales representative and told her that I had all of my bedroom furniture removed for the Rooms to go order and that I have a bad back. She said that she understood my frustration and gave me a set delivery Date for July 6, 2021. I told her I had no problem waiting a month even though their competitors Home Zone and Canales said that I could have furniture delivered in one week! She also told me that she would contact me if she could get the date pushed forward since she understood my dilemma. However, I had to take it upon myself to follow up on June 1, 2021 to only find out on June 3, 2021 that I won’t receive my order until August 10, 2021 and not July 6, 2021 as promised. I’m extremely disappointed because now I will be canceling my order not only because the furniture I paid for in full won’t be delivered until August 2021 but because of the lack of honesty, integrity, greed, and selfishness that the sales representative used for her to get a sale and commission.

I purchased some kitchen stools from Ashely furniture back in 2019 and 4 months later they began to fall apart.When I contacted them I received the run around time after time,attempt after attempt. I attempted to call to the store to get help with this as well and the woman who answered me was very rude. Their customer service even told me that I was late in calling and that my coverage had expired. I had to tell them that I had tried to email them way before it expired and they ignored me. I never got an answer and nothing was ever resolved. The customer service I received all around was very poor. I know perhaps for some it jas been better,however for me it was not the case.

Edit/Update. I'm taking my review down to 1 star, would give zero if I could. I was given a date to expect my mattress at the warehouse (two weeks out), and was told to expect a call to schedule the delivery. The time frame comes and goes, and I don't hear anything. So I reach out via text message, and was told it has been delayed, and was given a new date to expect it at the warehouse. Ok fine. This time frame comes and goes, so I reach out again, and was told it was delayed again, and given a new date. The next date, comes and goes, so again I reach out and was told AGAIN that its delayed and given yet another date. It had been almost two months at this point. When I asked what exactly was causing the delays, the sales rep very rudely told me that shipping times are to the warehouse and subject to change. I understand that but when I asked why I was promised a date if it was possible that it would change, they got and attitude and told me that again, shipping times are estimated and that someone should have told me that it takes 8-12 weeks to receive any Ashley product. WHY WAS THIS NOT COMMUNICATED??? I understand delays but this was the most inconvenient, unnecessary and rude experience I have ever received at a store. And then, it took over a month to process my cancellation and to receive my refund. I refuse to buy anything from this company again. The communication from the Mesquite store was terrible, and if this is who is representing Ashley, count me out. Great experience getting a new mattress. Was a quick and easy process and Jeb knew everything about every mattress and was able to direct me to the right mattress for me within my budget. Will definitely be back!
Came in to the mesquite location and worked with CT. He made sure to listen to our needs and kept price in mind. Things went fast and effencient which was nice after severa months shopping.

So I’ve been trying to contact Ashley Furniture for several weeks about an order that I placed in the beginning of March and was told it would be delivered around March 15th now it’s April and was told that I couldn’t contact the store directly I have to call this 800 number for a call center. Fast forward I called yesterday and was told by an agent that my items are ready and I didn’t opt-in for delivery , he said that I would be receiving an email and text when I could go pick up my items also he said that the warehouse only keeps the items for 3 days. Today makes day two! I’ve called the 800 number several times and the phone is picking up and hanging up like the lines are busy usually a automated message comes on and the lady gives you; your name and order number, none of that happened today! Remember this is day two, now I’m mad because I know I ordered delivery, the sales associate wasn’t the best and I still gave him my business, and now I can’t get in contact with the store/ warehouse.
Purchased a couch yesterday on the floor and today they call just to say it’s torn in the middle & damaged. I highly not recommend this place on Town East because for one why are you selling a damaged item????????? Horrible service still waiting 3 weeks after my scheduled delivery day and it was supposed to be the first delivery of the day today and they skipped me and did the 2nd and 3rd delivery before mine because it was on the route to my address then why did y’all put me first if I wasn’t gonna be first and they signed me up for a credit card when I was never asked if I wanted to apply or not and was up charged a protection plan when the employee told me it was included in it for a special and I checked my receipt and it was a additional 300 dollars that if I was told it was that much I wouldn’t of got it I thought it was something nice they were adding for my big purchase never going here again was highly recommend to go here but telling all my friends and family all the headaches I’ve had to deal with because of this company and they just send me back and forth between the store and customer service because nobody knows the answers

The store was incredibly clean and organized. My sales person was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was helpful without being too pushy which is important to me. There have been many times when I would leave an establishment simply because I didn’t like the way the sales person dealt with me. Making a major purchase can be somewhat stressful but I feel like shopping at Ashley’s made it less stressful. I will definitely send my friends there and do any future shopping for furniture there also..

I purchased a leather living room set that cost me $4,000.00 in June 2020. Not even six months later the sofa ripped and the loveseats stitching has become undone. I have been in contact with both the insurance and warranty department and it has been a nightmare! I will not ever purchase from Ashley furniture ever again and certainly not recommend them to anyone I know. I called the store and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. This is horrible customer service. At this point, I just want my money back, so I can buy a new living room set from another company.

Visited this store on 01/05/2021. When I entered the store I wasn't pounced on by a salesperson as I had been at all the other furniture stores I visited that day. I initially saw that as a welcomed relief. I walked thru the store for about 10 minutes before a salesperson even acknowledged me. He was not helpful at all, didn't seem to have product knowledge and abruptly walked away... didn't say anything like he'd check back with me etc. I continued to explore the store taking my time (approx another 15min) and NO ONE ever approached me to offer assistance. I should add that I indicated I was ready to make a purchase that day. I left amazed at the indifference of the sales staff here (and they weren't busy with other customers in fact they didn't seem busy doing anything). Fortunately, Rooms to Go is conveniently located across the street where I found exactly what I wanted and made my purchase. Ashley apparently has a lengthy good reputation for American made high quality furniture, too bad the staff at this store doesn't support high or even mediocre quality customer care. I can only think there must be a bad morale problem here. This was the store in Mesquite, TX on Town East Blvd.

We asked for directions to the recliners and he broke down the layout of where the leather ones were vs the cloth ones. Then we helped ourselves to looking at each type. Julian was always available, at a comfortable distance, ready to help but not one bit pushy. We really appreciate Julian’s style. Terrible customer service all across the board! I was sold an item that DOES NOT WORK After calling I was told to go to the store, I went to the store I was told to call. I paid a lot a money for something that does not work and I just want it to be fix or just be refunded. When I was being sold this item there was no issue, and now that they sold me something that DOES NOT WORK no one seems to know what to do.

I ordered a dining room set in September and still haven’t received my items. When I spoke to the newly promoted manager Matthew aka Justice, he informed me that my items would be arriving at a certain date and to email him so that he could send me updates. Well the date came and gone and I never received a response back from that email. When you call the store, nobody answers and all calls are directed to a 1-800 number. Justice then explained that he is short staffed and that was the reason as to why nobody answers and that he has been trying to hire someone in customer service but nobody stays long. That’s probably because they get people upset at them when they promise them their items and they don’t get delivered. I went in again and spoke with Justice who couldn’t guarantee me that my items would be delivered the following week but went on ahead and requested for the warehouse to deliver what items they had (the table and chairs, minus the dinning room bench). What kind of service is that? You can tell me that it will be delivered by next week but then when I ask if they can guarantee that it will be delivered he says he can’t. I asked to purchase the floor model as I have been waiting 8 weeks to get my dinning room set. He said I couldn’t purchase it. It made me feel powerless, like I had been robbed of my money and they knew that there was nothing I could do about it. Now it’s Thanksgiving next week and who knows if I will be able to eat at my table for that occasion as I have been without a table and a place to eat for months now... thanks Ashley’s. I will know to take my service elsewhere.

This was our first time visiting Ashley's here in Mesquite and upon entering the store we were politely greeted by Zach. He was amazing with helping us find everything we were looking for to furnish our new home. He went above and beyond from looking for the kitchen, to the bedrooms and living room. I will never shop here again. Went shopping here about 2 months ago and Justice helped us find a couch and check us out. Due to high demand he said it could take up to 8 weeks to get which we were okay with. About 3 weeks later we got notification our couch was ready for pickup only to get it home and unwrap it to find it was the wrong color. Customer service was no help so I went back up to the store and talked with Justice (which is a manager) to find out he ordered it wrong. He did an exchange and he told me it could take another month to get the right couch (I threw out my old couch so at this point I have no couch). He said he would be in contact with me a lot to try to make this right and get the right couch sooner. I have yet to receive a phone call from him and it’s been two weeks. He is a terrible manger and ruined this experience for me.

My mother attempted to purchase furniture at Ashleys in Mesquite TX. She paid for the furniture then changed her mind because of issues with the delivery dates. She has yet to receive a refund and there is no one to speak with about the matter. We are in the middle of a pandemic, she is 70 years old and every dollar matters at this point. She needs assistance immediately!
I had to choose 1 star because I had to there wasn’t anything less. My mother ordered furniture back in July and then they told her it was on back order. She had to cancel so that she can purchase different furniture elsewhere. They never gave her a refund, I’ve talked to the manager and he said he’s sorry nothing he can do. They do not seem to know what to do and no one seems to know who to contact to fix this and give her the refund she’s been waiting for. She is a senior citizen and lives on a budget, she doesn’t have any money to buy more furniture. This is the mesquite location, and by the way he told me 4 other people just came in who have been waiting for their refund and he didn’t know what to do. 10/27/20 Update, I have sent like 10 emails after they finally initiated contact and acted like they wanted to help, but again still I can’t get anyone to follow thru. So still no resolution... I would be careful shopping at Ashley furniture.
Walked in on Sunday afternoon looking for a section informed the salesman and directly to a couple of couches. After viewing my options and prices. Salesman had prices and explained all my options on delivery and payment. I LOVED how patient he was with and asked for my approval on everything.

We went with 2 ideas in mind, we eventually passed Stephen (who looked busy with computer stuff) but immediately addressed us with a SMILE and without hesitation he checked inventory and price on both so that we could narrow it down. He was patient, and he knew the inventory too! We took his card, talked it through, and 2 days later he even remembered our 5 year old son, because their conversation went straight to Cowboys football with a high five! Needless to say, we payed for the pieces we chose, and I can’t wait until delivery day! Will absolutely shop there for good, the quality is superior, the prices are so sensible, and Stephen and the manager on shift were great to us.

In June me and my husband went to the store and placed our order for two complete full beds, including mattress for both beds, the guy that took our order Matthew Lear charged us for three mattress stead of two, we came home and didn’t notice that until after two months when we received three mattress and the mattress were twin size stead of full size, we called Ashley’s Mesquite and told us they will send some one to delivery two full size and pick up the twin size and the supposedly were going to send me the refund check in the mail, they did pick up the mattresses and delivered the right ones but as today 09/24/2020 we haven’t received the refund check, my husband and I have been calling them several times, the last words we heard from them is that they had put it in the mail and that we should receive it in a couple of days, as today no check has received and they don’t answer our calls anymore, my husband has left several voicemails and not calls has been returned.

Worst experience ever for my first furniture purchase. Ordered a 4 piece sectional on July 6th and since then all they’ve done is continuously pushed my expected time of arrival back. They’d always tell me 3 more weeks and I’ve waited 3 weeks three times over at this point. Today is September 22nd which is the day I was told I’d finally receive everything and guess what? Yep you guessed it, they pushed my order back again but this time way to October 29th. Mind you this whole purchase took place July 6th. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever encountered in my life. They let your order a load of furniture then decide to give you insight on the downside of it all WAY later at the point of no return. Wish I would’ve steered clear

While the coffee table I ordered is cute, albeit a bit wobbly and not the best quality, I felt like I received horrible service in terms of delivery updates and communication. When I purchased it there wasn't any estimation of when it would arrive. I did not receive any confirmation email either because I found the sales rep put my info in wrong. I got a confirmation call for my delivery when I should have gotten a gotten a call that it would be delayed 6 additional days. Getting ahold of customer service was hard and I was hung up on while on hold twice. The delivery truck driver said he would have left after 15 minutes when he got to my apartment if the office had not called me to tell me he was outside. He said it was because he didn't get any contact info which was all on the paperwork. It would have been much less frustrating to order from Amazon simply from a customer service standpoint and will probably do so in lieu of this store moving forward.

I have had THE WORST experience. I ordered a bedroom set back in May. They said it would be two weeks before they could deliver, which was fine. When i called to confirm the delivery, they said i didn’t have a delivery scheduled and they rescheduled it. When i called a week later to confirm the next delivery, the same thing happened. When i finally got it scheduled, the mattress got put on backorder and my delivery kept getting cancelled over & over. I finally cancelled the mattress and just got one from somewhere else. I scheduled the delivery for the rest of the furniture and the day before it was supposed to be delivered, the headboard went on backorder. Never once has anyone apologized for any of this. I’ve asked to speak to someone about it and no one ever calls back. I understand that with all of the COVID stuff going on that it could take longer, but this is ridiculous.
I have bud experience on the Ashely store I bought set couch and table and 5 years warranty the tables change color I called the store they says call insurance they say water damages now I have a problem on couches I called the insurance they give me claim number then they told me the insurance cancelled and they sent my money to Ashely more than a year when I called Ashely still insured. they are not see any change on my account they will contact me the next 48 hours still waiting. here's your respond last year . Response from the owner a year ago Lidet, I'm very sorry that you aren't happy. The protection plan covers all sorts of accidental damage. Your table was considered abused; the finish was worn off nearly everywhere, lots of damage from water, and the lift top was warped. Continuous abuse is not covered by the protection plan. Our technician was able to adjust the drawers, but nothing else was repairable. I'm very sorry that we couldn't do more.

I brought couch worth of $1600 and I paid delivery charges, at the time of buying salesperson did not told me anything about refund policy and my couch reclining switch was not working so I inform them and ask them to talk to manager about my situation. I called for 4 days in line and no body gave me proper response and one 5 day they placed an order for parts . Now it’s been 4 days I received parts and nobody call me from service department and when I call at store they told me it’s not in there hand service department will take care of that. Now as they are multimillionaire company and we are small people only thing we can do is boycott Ashley furniture in any part of US. They should know why they should not cheat common people. The delivery was supposed to have been scheduled for 5/23. I discovered on 5/22 that it was never scheduled. Since I did not get a confirmation on that, I called today to find out that delivery IS NOT scheduled. An offer to schedule the delivery for 6/9 was made by the woman I spoke with today. I requested speaking with a manager and was told that an email would be sent to him/her with the request to call me. When I said it needed to be a return call today, the woman hung up on me. I tried to call the store to speak with the salesman to see if he can help, but I kept getting voicemail. When I tried to leave a message the mailbox was full. I will be happy to change this review in light of the nice and helpful people at the store if I can get some help on this delivery issue. I did get a quick response with offer to help. Unfortunately the next Saturday delivery day available is in several weeks. They are rushing my refund. Sad that it ended this way. I purchased the warranty on my couches that I purchased, which I did not use. I called prior to COVID-19 to request my refund of $500 store credit since I did not use the warranty. They located my account and stated I had to come in to complete paperwork. I did 2 weeks ago to find out they could not help me because they recently transferred over all data and cannot locate my account. I'm still waiting on a call back and can't get anyone to help me.

Ordered 2 tables 2/23 on the phone. Store sent me invoice to sign and pay which I did. 2 weeks later they call and said they made a mistake on delivery charge, made another mistake on the protection plan, made another mistake on the cost of one of the tables, and tried to extort $157 from me. When I told them to cancel the order and issue a full refund they sent me a cancellation form charging me $83 to cancel the order! Contacting my attorney on this one!

My sister and I went in just to browse but with so much beautiful and affordable furniture, we couldn't help but purchase a new bedroom set for my niece. Abby was amazing...kind, informative, helpful but most of all she was honest with us. She didn't try to sell us on the most expensive furniture, rather something that she knew would withstand a while for a preteen. She was able to honor a coupon for a weekend sale event that we were a few days early for and has texted us twice already to keep us updated as we wait for delivery. This is our 3rd purchase at Ashley's...we definitely recommend!

If that follows through and doesnt end up being a run around like it has been with the parts I will change my review to 5* for them reconciling the issue. Around 2 months later and I'm STILL waiting on hardware that was missing to put my bed together 😡 $800 bed still sitting halfway put together after almost 2 months and the constant run around on when they will be here!!!! All I keep getting is a "I'm sorry we will get it shipped to u" every time I call or I get answering machines this is rediculous

Took 40 mins to just check out. Walked in and knew exactly what I wanted. There were 6 employees standing around doing nothing. We had to come back to pay because they were short staffed as if that was my problem. So inconvenient for me. And when we came back to pay my husband wasn’t with me and he gave me his card and they wouldn’t allow me to use his card . Evan with him on the phone to approve the transaction. Never will walk into this store again . All purchases will be made online .
Only gave one star because I had to. The worst experience in my life. We were lied to by the salesman over the coverage of the warranty we purchased. He claimed every one of my concernes would be covered by the extended 'playinum' warranty. Three years later and not one thing was covered by the warranty when I tried to use it. I was lied to so the salesman could make more on his commission. And what ticks me off the most is that neither the warranty company nor Ashley's will take credit for the lies. So I purchased furniture I would NOT have bought if I had known the warranty wouldn't cover certain damages. I was lied to just so he could get more money on his check and now 3 yrs later I have damaged furniture that I cannot use. Thanks ashley and thanks Platinum warranty. The only thing that I can find to calm me is knowing karma is a total B.
i bought furniture at this place on 10/24/19 and it wont be delivered until after 11/18/19. Before you make a purchase I suggest you ask when will your furniture be delivered because they wont tell you upfront they'll wait until after you've made your purchase.

I have been roaming around the most popular furniture marts around DFW area including top branded furniture outlets but was not at all satisfied with the collections as well as their customer services. Ashley furniture@ mesquite had a good amount of on-store collections and was able to provide a good customer experience. Owe a good amount of thanks to Sterling Clugston, my assigned sales representative and Aaron, the sales manager who made an happy ending for my 1 month old furniture shopping. Also I had order my furniture 2 weeks ago and i still have yet to get my furniture the lady in the office at Ashley told me I would be getting my couches this Saturday 9/28/2019 come to find out I will not be getting them until a few days later. This will be my last time ordering anything from this place. This is insane I had to repeat my address like 3-4 times they didn't even have the address change info I did last weekend. How does this company even run do they not believe in computers specially corporate how in the world do they keep track of things. A piece of advice RUN to Rooms to Go!

Great customer service from everyone who assisted our family with furniture - most especially, Tony (BIG SHOUT OUT) and the customer service personnel (Teresa, Ana, and Evelyn). Tony was our first contact back on 7/24/2019 when we purchased our comfy sectional. We returned for two other bedroom sets (other agents who were awesome assisted us but remain nameless as we have really bad memories!). In the end, Tony streamlined and quite efficiently scheduled them all for delivery on the same day once the furniture was available from the warehouse. Thank you for all these great selections for our new home!

Horrible experience. Went through the process of getting their credit card. Then waited for 3 weeks for my $1200 sectional, when we received it a part of the sofa was damaged in the cushion part. They wouldn’t replace just that one piece, they are wanting the entire sectional back to exchange it and wait another 2-4 weeks for the replacement! Very frustrating experience.
