This is our second visit to Ashley’s furniture due to a wonderful experience with Sarahi, sales representative, her knowledge and patience towards our questions and concerns, were answered very respectfully. Also, she was never all over us to make a sale, very courteous she will step away and gave us our privacy to make a decision. In addition, her managers were also very polite and worked together with a Sarahi. I just loved the atmosphere in this furniture store!! For sure, we are still working in remodeling our home and there are plans to purchase more furniture!! Guess what! We will be going back to Ashley’s furniture store!! The staff and service were great when I purchased the couches. However, the delivery of the couches was not great.. They were not careful when delivering the couches and left a few stains already. Repair tech never came out when called and scheduled for. I still have not received the ottoman and wedge. I purchased the couch back in March. I get calls every other week to reschedule my delivery date because it keeps getting pushed out. Overall, I would not order from Ashley’s again.

I will never purchase anything at Ashley’s. I was promised my things would be delivered a certain date and it was moved many many times. They kept making promises that were not fulfilled. When they delivered a month later It was the wrong order, not what we had purchased. I have been reaching out to them, so they can bring me my correct order and have not yet heard from them. Many hours spent reaching out to them with no solution. Very dissatisfied.

I’m not the usual person to be complaining about everything but today I just really have to. 6 days ago we went to buy a queen mattress and with no hesitation we took it since we thought it was a great price for a queen . It was one of those mattresses that come packed in a box so we couldn’t really see it until we got home and unboxed it, IT WAS A TWIN, we checked the receipt and I was charged for a twin but I DID NOT NEED a twin . We called later that day and another girl said that they did not even carry queens in store, only online, which Michael Galindo never mentioned and he just went on to sale us a Twin. You could tell he only wanted to sell, specially knowing that they don’t allow returns. We called customer service to see what they could do the mattress is BRAND NEW and still in the plastic but they still haven’t got back to us with a solution. Such a bad experience considering that we are usual customers and this was not our fault…..

I bought a new bedset back a yr ago, i did not receive it until august, remind u this bed set was $4000, when i finally got the whole set turns out my drawer came broken. they said i was supposed to hear something i never did, i called a wk or 2 ago to see what was going on, and someone was supposed to contact me with in 2-3 days, i still have NOT heard back. We ended up buying the first sectional he had to show us because he listened to our needs and pivoted from there. We also bought a beautiful dining room table and chairs along with a rug and a few home decorations that I wasn’t sure I could live without!!! We were in the store about a week ago and the saleman was Husan and he was great. Gave us the information on everything we wanted. But I informed him I need to go home and think about the style of the TV Media Center he was trying to sell us. I really need to make sure it's something i am going to be happy with. My husband and I finally made a decision on what we wanted. When we return about 6 day later a sales woman in this store. I don't remember her name but she was rude and not very helpful. I informed her we had already been working with a gentleman there but at that moment we could not remember his name. She didn't even try to help us figure it out. I let her know we came in to look for a certain TV media center. We had found it online on the Ashley's website and were able to figure out the actual price after taxes, shipping and everything. But instead of ordering it we wanted to see if it was available in store. So instore this woman offers to help us but then takes a very long time to come back to help us. Then she takes our information and I explain what it is we want. In the meantime of waiting forever I see the gentleman we worked with before and go talk to him. He remembers us and wants to help. I let her know that this is the guy we were wanting to do business with. But she wont let him take back over and help us. I figure out his name is Husan She comes back stating that this TV Center is going to cost $200 more than what it was online. So I explain to her we don't feel we need warranty for this piece or special set up. Just the product and it be delivered to our door. Just like online. So she brings the price down another $100. So ordering it online the exact same way is still $100 cheaper?? I explain this to her and she says sorry that's all I can do. Look with as expensive as stuff is these days $100 is $100. And most people will save that if they can. So we said you can't help us at all then she said nope. We said well thank you we will order it online. And we were paying CASH when we talked to her. She let us walk out the door over $100. Her and Husan lost out on a sale. But it's y'alls loss. Cause my husband and I talked about it. We decided to go to talk to the people at Bob Mills Furniture. Well they had a TV media center similar to the one at Ashley's. So we went with them. Actually the salesman Daniel Talamentez was so good, helpful, gave us the attention we needed and was willing to makesure we got the best price possible we ended up buying a whole new bed from them as well at the same time spent $13,000. When your sales people are good and offer good customer service it can go a long long way. It was your loss ASHLEY'S FURNITURE STORE of Midland!

Upon trying to reschedule I opted to pick up myself and after receiving a notification that my pick up was ready, I took off to their Midland location. Once there, I was told they had no items ready to be picked up and that if I wanted I could pick up in Lubbock. I then decided to just cancel the order and refund my money. Just go to Mattress Firm y’all, save yourselves that headache.

I had bought a bed and night stand. I was told that my delivery was setup.for December 7, 2023 between 8-12. I waited and they never showed up. No one called or communicated in any way. I went to the store and spoke to the gentleman who took my order and told me my delivery date. He stated they were waiting on the headboard. I asked why didn't anyone contact me. Instead I took the day of and wasted a day. While speaking to the sales manager he motioned for the store manager to come over and she made a hand gesture that she didn't wanted to deal with it. I will NEVER buy another item from Ashley's again. What is really sad, is the bad reviews get very few replies from owner. Sounds like the whole organization is a bad apple!!!

Ashley’s furniture is unorganized and needs to work on communication amongst their employees as well as better communication with their customers! The two starts are for quality of products and delivery services. If I were reviewing the store and their call center I would give them one star! Although, we are mostly happy with the furniture we got, if we would have known how much irritation we would be signing up for, we would have drove five hours to Dallas and picked up furniture! I wouldn’t recommend Ashley’s furniture to anyone. It’s not worth dealing with the constant unhelpful phone calls and the headaches of trying to get everything delivered when they say they’re going to deliver it. It doesn’t do anyone any good to schedule a product to be delivered when that product is “not at the warehouse”!

If I didn’t need this part for my daughter’s bed I would not do buisness with this company. My experience with the midland store has been terrible. The lady that was helping me gave me the number to deal with corporate and when I asked them for help, they told me oh what you want is super easy… that the associate helping me should have been able to do it. Super disappointed. And I never got any information on tracking so we will see how long it takes to get here.

Myself and my wife's have been shopping for a new sectional for weeks and Ashley Furniture was one of our last stops. When walking in on the early Black Friady sales, the assistant sales manager approached use telling use there are all these great giveaways and deals happening. We walked around and found a sectional we both agreed on (this hadn;t been the case till now), we brought the sales person over and explained the layout we wanted which was a mirror imagine of a layout presented on the back of the sectional ad on a stand. After the paperwork was drawn up and we were going over the agreement there were obvious mistakes in the layout that we requested. The sales person got the layout wrong so i questioned him, at this point this is where it all went south. This sales person argued that he was right and the sectional layoput was what i requested (i even walked him over to the diagram again). Me and my wife left with confusion but gave him the benefit of the doubt after paying. Once getting in the vehicle we did a quick double check and realized this was what we thought. So we re-entered the store and once the sale person saw us i told him "see you got it wrong and I asked about this multiple times" he started to argue that he was right and i was worng (now when your wrong swallow your pride and admit it to make it right for the customer) till one of this assitant sales managers employees had to ask him to leave and corrected the issue. That was the meat of the bad experience,, Now on entry the sale rep told us there was a free cooler that you got today when you spent over $2000. In all the confusion we didn;t recive this. So we called in to get our cooler, at this time the sales manager told us that it didn't apply to our sale. I will tell you that i will personally shop anywhere else but at Ashley Furniture moving forward. The assitant sales manager Micheal Galindo was a liar, acting like a used car salesman, and argued with me publically in the store. I knew i should have walked away when he started sweating profusely when i questioned hinm about the layout of the sectional. You can take your risk shopping here or go right across the street to Rooms to Go where we got exceptional service.

Sales person sold me the wrong product for my new bed and the company has no return policy money wasted ....the worse customer service and policy I have ever seen in my entire life . To all customers save yourself this is not a safe place to spend money and there is no chance of getting customer service or assistance to fix any problem or situation so shop here if you have money to give away.

She asked if there was anything she could help us with and we told her about the discontinued item. She said give me a minute and I will be right back she took a few minutes to search the Warehouses to see if She could find one wasn’t any available just our luck… it wasn’t . We also told her we were looking for mattresses so she introduced us to their mattress gallery. where she was very good and very knowledgeable about all the mattresses she gave us a demonstration and listen to what our needs were. needless to say we left the store as proud owners of a North Shore bench and Stearns and Foster mattresses. Megan is 100% customer service person Ashley should be privileged to call her their associate she has the prettiest smiles. We even got on the conversation about the wildlife the moose bears and eagles. when we left we felt like we had made a new friend

I purchased a living room set, and was told it would be delivered by 10/13, with no option to pickup. I followed up several times prior to 10/13, never getting a delivery time frame. I called again on the 12th, the day before, as I was told "only the delivery team has this information" and I then found out, the day before the furniture was supposed to arrive - "ohhh, this furniture is actually backordered for at least another month." Weird that they didn't share this on 10/11 or 10/9. So, again, the day before it was supposed to be delivered, and nobody bothered to reach out and communicate anything. Pathetic customer service, sales agents with no integrity that lie to make sales, and I would never do business again. Incredibly enough, I never even got an apology. What's better? They certainly charged my card for the furniture, and have yet to credit my card, and also "need to talk to their finance team" about sending me a receipt of the credit. Absolutely ridiculous

We bought 2 electric recliner sofas from Ashley. Two weeks after they were delivered, one of the sofas quit working due to a wire that was pinched. We called in a claim and a week after that my husband got a text that the part was backordered for two weeks. Then two weeks later he gets another text saying that the part is backordered until end of October and when WE get rhe part we need to contact Ashley. Now the other sofa recliner is jerking when it is being reclined. We paid close to $5,000 for these sofas!!!The sofa with the malfunctioned recliner has been like this for over a month now. Visited the store in Midland Texas on a Sunday. Joe Sandoval our sales person was very friendly told us he would let us browse and if we had any questions to let him know. After some browsing he checked up on us and asked for our specific needs and wants or if anything caught our eye. When we told him our wants he took us to the perfect couch. So much perfect we bought two. Will definitely be back.

Poor communication, lots of issues delivering my mattress, was given an initial price and after financing but someone was trying to add commission to the sale they made off of me and ended up messing up my order. Had to call everyday for a week until I finally went up to the store to figure out why my items hadn’t gotten delivered yet. Thankfully, the sales manager at the store when I went in person was very helpful. Otherwise, the mattress specialist who sold me the items did not help resolve any issues and hardly replied to any messages nor cared enough to pass me onto someone else who could help.

I bought 5 different items and they made me do THREE separate transactions. I also payed close to 400 dollars for delivery and specified that I would not be available until a certain time on a certain day because of work which they did not listen to. I had to reschedule the delivery because of this, and because of the three separate transactions I have to schedule delivery THREE TIMES for each transaction. When I rescheduled my delivery I was not made aware of this and now I have to wait a full week to get the rest of my order. This is absolutely ridiculous.

I purchase a tempur pedic mattress on Black Friday last year due to an accident I had I needed a better mattress and pulled the trigger on it . Till this day that associate has been lying to us saying the check is on the way of the refund of the taxes and we have open so many ticket numbers on customer service . Bought a couch that felt good but after falling asleep in it for a few hours the longer cushion compressed like a cheap piece of garbage. One of the other cushions keeps creaping out of place and gets annoying as you have to keep pushing it back into place. The sales associate screwed me up with the options. I told her I wanted the exact same thing on the showroom floor. Somehow I got the opposite delivered! We decided to keep what we got and make it work. Make sure the sales associate understands what you want! The delivery guys were awesome and didn't mess around setting it up.

Do not shop here. They don’t have a clue how to run a business with decent customer service.

4/5 stars for the actual furniture. 0/5 for the customer service. If you buy any furniture here DO NOT get the protection plan. It is a waste of money and good luck trying to contact anyone that is even willing to help you with any claims or getting a credit back when the protection plan was not used. Spent well over $10,000 here and this is the service you expect to get. Highly unlikely to shop here again.

Took over 2 months to get bed swapped out, and still hasn't been swpped out. Asked for bed to be picked up after a certain time, and completely ignored the request. Has been the worst experience ever. Would not recommend buying anything from this company. I wish I never set foot in this place.

The single worst experience ever buying anything. Purchased a couch the 4th of July weekend. Was delayed on delivery until the end of august. Was delivered 4 of the 5 pieces. Missing a section of the couch for more than a month. After many phone calls and trips to the actual store was finally delivered a piece on 10/22/22 and it’s still the wrong piece. Nobody knows how to fix it and it’s nobody’s job. Just save yourself the headache and don’t do business with this company.

The only reason for two stars is that our sales lady was good. Other than that this store is extremely poorly managed. There is no team work at all. This sales team does nothing g to help the others. If someone comes in a buys cash off the floor.. you would think the team would help each other. Terrible management!!!

Do not recommend. We were charged for insurance we did not desire to have on our couch. Additionally, our rug was canceled and when asked they said a 1-800 number called us. However, no message was left.

The help was Good and prices where good for the quality of fruniture everything was good, the only thing I didn't like and I feel like people should be aware of is get your things delivered, because if not you better have a pickup truck and extra hands Ashley furniture literally had me working labor in their own store. I thought that was very unprofessional you literally have too go in the store too the fruniture you get and get everything while everyone watches you It was embarrassing I at least thought they will take it up too the front or back with protection on it covering the fruniture so if it gets dirty or damage it's at your own risk. The sadest thing about too theirs allot of "men" that work their and didn't even offer too help, they where scared too break a nail. That's the only problem I had other then that everything was good

The Ashley Midland team was knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. They made me feel comfortable while also being knowledgeable about the products.

Sales rep was horrible and made me wait 4hrs till my sale was complete because she was too worried about acquiring other sales with other customers at the same time. Told me my purchases would be available in 2 weeks which tuned into more than a month! Never again with Ashley's Furniture!

My wife and I went into the store last night, not greeted by anyone, walked around the entire store, with me having a tape measure out measuring items, as I needed a specific length of a TV stand, and still no one helped us. The store was practically empty and we walked by the front desk, with several employees, and one female associate, on the floor with a tablet in hand, with no acknowledgementl Left and went to another furniture store across the street and the experience was awesome and we bought from them. Funny thing is they have a now hiring sign in the front. I then tried to call customer service today and was hung up on twice. Lovely company.

Great service. Walked in and was immediately greeted and helped by Shawn. Very patient and informative since it was our 1st time buying furniture. Answered everything and more and even helped us decide on a new mattress.

Very bad experience at this furniture store. We went two weeks ago Labor Day weekend looking for a bed. When I found the bed I wanted I asked the sales rep if it was in stock, he said yes and said he thought it could be delivered by Sep 13th but that he would call me Tuesday to let me know for sure. I tried to contact him but he never answered my calls yet he texted me and said he was sick and for me to call the store. FYI calls get directed to a calling center. The CSR said the bed was not completely in stock and that it would take 5-7 weeks for them to have it in. This made me very upset because I really need it the bed asap so I decided to go to the store. Erica was at the front desk I explained the situation to her, never did she apologize for what had happened. I asked her to cancel the order for me, with an attitude she said that if I wanted to cancel the order I need it to pay 10% of cancellation fee which I said no to because I just felt it was not fair. Erica said it was in the contract and that she couldn’t do anything about it, for me to go back Saturday because the manager wouldn’t be in till then. Today I went back to speak to the manager it was a waste of time! Her team is just a reflection of her. She did not do anything for me after everything I went through. I don’t understand how people choose to work in customer service when they clearly don’t have any customer service skills.

Ordered a couch, got 4 out of the 5 pieces delivered only for them to tell us our couch is discontinued and they don’t know when they could give us our 5th piece. Stay away of this people. I was fraud by a Seller named Daniel, he offered 10 weeks delivery. After waiting 20 weeks they delivered a different Dinning Set. They don't have any refund policy so I can't have my money back and my only option is wait until they want to exchange the items. Terrible mistake buy on this store. Specially bad service for the Manager in charge "Erica" complete disgusting person to talk to.

Worst experience ever, went for a badframe, a simple bedframe, picked it up, it was 75. While we were there I asked the guy, Michel, a couple questions, specifically if the bed had slats because we didn't have a box spring. He said yes, bought it, took it home, found out it did not have slats. Less than an hour after leaving I called them and explained the situation crying, we needed a bed frame and didn't have 75 to waist. The dude said he must have not understood me, even though I specifically asked him, and he basically said too bad, can't do anything for you, all sales are final. Now I have a 75 dollar Hollywood frame that I can't do anything with. These people were no help and don't care as long as they sell you something and get you out the door. I hate this place.

The gentleman was going through what I ordered then pointed at the delivery price. And it said $0.00 then I signed everything left the store looked over everything and boom at the bottom under merchandise it said delivery fee 329.99. Then I called them to ask if I could pick it up then they said I would have to pick it up in Lubbock instead of midland. Irritated!!!!

Worst furniture company ever. They delivered my bed set without the hardware tools to fix the bed panel. When I called the customer service center, that lady was very rude and cut my call without giving me a solution for the problem. I called again and talked to the main office and they said they will send the tools. It took them around 3 months to deliver the tools and then didn’t send anyone to fix the panel together. I called like thousand times and went to meet the manager in person in midland branch but they told me they can’t help with my issue. I kept calling the main office, each time they say delivery person will call me in 48 hours to book a date but then nobody calls. My master bedroom is a mess for over 6 months because of this. I would never buy or recommend anyone to buy anything from Ashley ever again.

My husband and I walked in tonight to browse, looking around to price some shelves. We walked past a gentleman sitting at a sales desk, but he didn't even speak to us. We walked around the whole store and not a single person approached us. We weren't looking to buy so it wasn't a huge deal, but good luck if you're actually looking to purchase something!

The absolute WORST place to order furniture. I only wanted to purchase a bed frame, mattress, and box doing/bunky boards. The sales associate that helped me let me know that I would be getting a discount off my furniture. He failed to tell me that in order to receive the 15% discount off of ONLY furniture, it is required that the customer purchase a $200 protection plan and a $400 mattress cover. Every time you call the store, they say they will look into something and call you back and never do. I was told everything would come in on a specific date and only received the bed frame that was broken. I had to physically go into the store to have someone speak to me about my mattress coming in. Finally got someone to get my mattress to come in within the week but forgot to add the bunky boards with the order. I’ve talked to about 6 different managers and associates and they all did absolutely NOTHING for me besides give me a small lousy credit towards my financing which only took about $6 off my $150 bill from them. I’m currently still dealing with them after 2 weeks. Never ordering from them again.

Great selection and our salesman Ricardo was great! He introduced himself when we walked in, let us have our space while browsing around and had great timing of stopping by to answer questions or give us specific details on collections we showed interest in. We found a collection that we loved and bought it quickly. We will return to Ricardo when we are ready to buy new furniture for another room in our home.

The two gentlemen who delivered our sectional were quick and polite.

Had purchased over 5,000 dollars worth of furniture and I had to cancel my order due to sales women keeping us with lies, now 7 months later only received half of my refund money idk what to do now any suggestions anybody maybe a good layer to fight my case, they keep telling me that I they have refunded my money yet I see no proof in my bank statement. Sales associate exceeded my expectation. She found what I needed at a good price. The item wasn't in stock but it's worth the wait.

My order was not right. The headboard I ordered was not the one I ordered. The sales person never gets back to me. When I call her or text her she never returns my calls tells me she is not at work.Very disappointed .

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Let me start my saying, there is no manager at some stores and I was told that district managers don’t see customers. That is absurd! The DM was even in the store in some back room. I do feel for the sales people and customer service at the local store, but purchasing from this store is full of issues. First, there are dispatch issues. You will be told your entire order is coming as requested and it isn’t manifested on the day you were advised to be ready to accept delivery. You will take off from work or have your weekend interrupted for nothing. Second, don’t request a full delivery if you ordered multiple pieces because if not everything is ready at the warehouse, they will sell pieces initially for you to someone else. Third, a corporation of this size can’t seem to get furniture delivered to Lubbock for Midland delivery in two weeks. Transportation vps and directors and operations managers really need to be strongly micro managed because there are continuous balls being dropped by all branches at Ashley’s . Finally, when you’ve had enough and are left without furniture for 8-10 weeks, don’t ask for your money back if you accepted delivery of any piece of furniture (accepting breadcrumbs of service) because despite sales saying you have 30 days to decide on your furniture, the store has a no return policy. I messaged the VP on LinkedIn but just like the local store number and 800 delivery number, I’m sure that too will get me nowhere. Customers have no options if Ashley does not hold up their end. I paid cash for my just under 10k purchase and regret every penny and every moment I’ve had to come up to the store because phones are not answered or you cannot reach someone by phone that can tell you anything about when your order will finally all come in. Pay a few hundred more and shop local or at Haverytys, not at all the headache Ashley’s is! In summary, Ashley lies and under delivers, period, yet has no problem taking your money!!! Buyer beware!!

This place is a joke. We spent 6,000. Only received 3 of our 5 items. Ordered in may and here it is almost July and haven’t gotten them. The only thing they told us was on back order was the coffee table. They don’t answer the phones and their eta ship dates change day to day. Trust me this is the biggest scam of a company. They only allow 10% refund and they’re corporate office is based out of Canada so good luck.

We placed an order one year ago. We’ve been given numerous excuses for why we have not received what we paid up front for. Mostly our order keeps getting “detached” which means it is being given to other people. It’s impossible to get through on the phone and often I’ve been directed to a call center that could not help. It’s been a terrible experience. We’ve taken off work 3 times thinking we were receiving a scheduled delivery and only once someone showed and had a fraction of the purchase.

After Ashley made their sale, the customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Nothing but lies about delivery dates and unreturned phone calls. I was promised a 10% discount for all of the issues with the miscommunication, and I’ve been calling for 2 weeks and wouldn’t you know my call cannot connect. I will NEVER buy from Ashley furniture again! No amount of money is worth the headache they have put me through!

I’ve been waiting over half a year for half a sectional because they decided to hand the other half out because an order was a few days before me. If I could give them a zero rating I would. This has been by far one of the worst experiences ever with a retail chain. The level of unprofessionalism from Michael our sales rep who forgot to order bed railings with our bedroom set when we ordered the bed, to the customer service rep when you call to check the status of your order. They delivered the headboard and footboard and realized the railings weren’t in the order. The delivery guy told me they would not be able to put my bed together because it was missing the railings, but suggested that I call the store in Midland to see if they would give us “now ready” railings which they never offered us. Here we are a month and a half later and still no bed railings. You would think after making us wait over a month to bring our railings they would have a bit more empathy towards our situation. However, all we get are random calls from their automated system to schedule for delivery only to call us the next day after we confirm our order telling us that are order will not be delivered. The sad part about this is that one person will confirm while another will tell us the railings are on back order and they cannot confirm. It’s just a real mess and a whole lot of confusion at this point. To add insult to injury Kedi the manager at Midland location lied several times claiming she will call us back when she speaks to someone from corporate about our order. Til date she has not returned any of our calls. I am very upset with this entire experience and I want to return my order Immediately! Highly unprofessional people and I would not recommend them.

Waited my long delivery time! Furniture is cheap quality! At overpriced prices

Bought my new granddaughter, her first complete bedroom set, in beginning of oct..Oct. I was told it b delivered b4 the Xmas holidays...I got a call in Jan 2022,, I called the store, they gave me the run around saying it is delayed I'd get it late Jan. I haven't heard from them since, it's April 22, 2022, and to day get a text if I'd like to rate ashleys.

This is Martha Sanchez, and three years ago we ordered 3 bedroom sets a living room set and three mattresses. We waited 6 months , we traveled to Midland 3 times which is 3 hours from home , just to find out that nothing had arrived yet. We tried to cancel order but continued to get encouraging calls with false dates of delivery. 2 years later we received a call that Ashley's would no longer deliver to us in Alpine. A few months later we got a call that we could pick up some of the items in El Paso, which is 4 hours from Alpine Texas. When we arrived we found our 3 hours later that we were still missing a foot board, a mattress, and a sofa sleeper. I don't know how long it will take to receive these items. I will definitely not recommend shopping at Ashley's.

On11/24/2021 I purchased three accent mirrors from this store. I got two out of three. When I called the store they told me they made a mistake and cannot locate the third. I have call numerous time and been totally let down. The customer service is terrible, they won’t work with you even though it’s there fault. They would not even take back the delivered items. I was told practically it nothing they could do and I will have to deal with it. I will be taking any future business to another furniture store.

Truthfully, I would not even give Ashley’s 1 star. They are the absolute worst. Anyone giving them 5 stars may want to wait until your order has been delivered because you will likely be waiting for the better part of a year. “Ashley’s America’s favorite home store.” What a load of crock. If you want to be lied to continuously, and you want to be gaslighted….by all means do business with Ashley’s. You have to admire the commitment to selling something they can’t fulfill. They will smile at you. They will make promises they can’t keep. They will lie to you saying that your order is ready to be delivered in full and then turn around and say they never said that. Save yourself the headache and go to Rooms to Go. Or any other place for that matter. It’s time they went out of business. This is not good customer service or even decent business ethics. I will never do business with Ashley’s furniture again and will do my part to assure no one goes through the headache or nightmare we have gone through.

So they price match, but you better check for yourself because the sales rep will NOT let you know the lower price. I found out the “lower” price from the customer service rep. behind the desk. BUT the floor rep. had a different place, higher of course. I had to go on the website to get the price myself (sad). But I saved nearly $200. Guess they work off commission (not sure). I ONLY continued with my purchase because I had a credit over $250 there, and I needed to use it. I was told I could ONLY use it at that store. Now mind you, this was my SECOND trip back to use this credit. My first trip the Store didn’t have record of credit so I had to file claim so they can look into my credit. Now I am currently on the phone with my credit card company because Ashley Furniture charged my card FIVE TIMES. Yes, FIVE times. And get this, a couple of the charges were different prices. Upon checking out, the associate was checking her text messages-on her phone. Very unprofessional !!!

Absolute worst experience buying anything I have ever had. Went through a spine surgery and was looking for an adjustable bed to help with pain. Purchased one and new mattresses with the promise they would be delivered within a week. Nothing but issues and rude people since than. Martha seems to be the only one in the whole company who cares or is willing to help.

Today I was told another story about my cocktail table it’s been SIX MONTHS and I still can’t receive my cocktail table and one end table I ordered a full living room set everything was delivered different dates, wrong end tables were delivered as well time passed and I only got one table delivered (the original table) literally yesterday we just received a message stating we’ll be receiving our other end table but still no cocktail table. We went in to speak in person for the 4th time and boom another story we just choose to get our money back and on top of that we still have wait for it to get reviewed and send to us by mail we’ll see what other lie we receive for our refund. Horrible customer service they seemed to become rude when we had proof of messages shared with sales person and still want to blame us for getting upset. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!

Worst experience I've ever had ordering furniture. I can't even get through to the local store so if you ordered from them you're better off driving over. Everything we looked at they told us was being discontinued only to see it being sold online (priced lower even!). We placed our order November 2021 and we're to almost March and have 3 of the 6 pieces in with no idea when the rest will be available. People told me not to order from here and now I know why.

Do NOT waste your money here. I ordered a full bedroom set on October 15th 2021 and was told that almost the entire order was in their warehouse and I was assured that it would be only a few weeks until it was delivered. I paid in full. I have called several times to get updates and they keep pushing the delivery dates back. I was told my order was only missing the bed rails and footboard. Then I was told I was missing a night stand. I went into the store to check on the status today only to be told that my entire order had been given away to fill other orders and they have NOTHING that was originally reserved for me. Customer service told me that I’m starting completely over on my order. It is now February 21st 2022 and I still don’t have my furniture. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one can tell anything other than “sorry, we are doing everything we can”.

Purchased a couch set from here, including the warranty. Was told it would be delivered no later than the end of January. This was the deciding factor in the purchase. The end of January approached and never once heard from Ashley’s. I reached out to find out when the delivery date would be, to find out it was still going to be an ESTIMATED 11-13 weeks. I went to the store and canceled my order due to Ashley’s now telling me that it wouldn’t be until March, “possibly” that I would get my furniture. I was charged a 10% “restocking fee” to cancel my order that was supposed to arrive in Jan. I spoke to the assistant manager about the restocking fee, on merchandise that was never even in stock. Needless to say, you’ll end up waiting forever for furniture, even after being lied too about the initial delivery date. Bob mills was able to deliver the same weekend of purchasing with them.

We bought a buffet table in early November. 2021. We hoped to have it for Thanksgiving and the Christmas, and we were told that delivery could be immediate. The next day, they told us the delivery would have to wait until the first week of December. When December rolled around and the there had been no contract from them, I checked in and was told the new delivery date would be Dec. 30th. When the product did not arrive on Dec. 30th, and again they did not contact us to inform us of a delay, I went into the store to discover what went wrong. I was then told that the delivery had been rescheduled to April, a full four months away. I complained and explained that is an unacceptable wait time. I requested my money back, to which they said they would keep 10%. I explained this is unacceptable because they sold the product to me under false terms of the agreement and did not deliver. We wanted the table for the holidays and the holidays were gone. They told me that the store manager would call me the next day. The store manager did not call. No phone call came. It is now Jan. 26th and I've heard nothing. They took our money in November 2021. This is an ongoing dispute, so I will update this review as we come to a conclusion. Obviously, I do not recommend doing business with Ashley Furniture. While supply delay is understandable and not necessarily in their control, my real gripe is with the lack of communication and unprofessional handling of the delays as they occur.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a furniture store. My bed was delivered in two separate orders and on the 2nd delivery Jan 6th they told me they would not be able to put my bed together cause it was missing the slats that run across the bed frames for support. I have a king size bed so I definitely need these. I call the store to tell them what the delivery people said. And I had to wait for my sales associate to return to work the next day in order to get it taken care of. I call back the next day and talk to my sales associate Martha. She told me I can go and pick one up if I wanted but that no one could put it together. She would have to order me new ones in order to get someone back out here and she could never tell me when they were going to come back and put it all together. 7 phone calls 2 to corporate and one week later I finally have the delivery guys back out here to assemble my bed and guess what!? Still no slats! I call the store and try to speak to a manager and I wasn’t able to actually speak to someone. They informed me that the manager would have to call me back. I explained my situation and the guy informed me I can go pick them up at the store. I drive 20 miles one way and get them back to my house, unload them myself and they are the wrong size of slats. I am very upset with this entire experience and I want to return my order

Do not waste your time!!!! If I could not give them a star I would. TERRIBLE. ordered in June of 2021 and latest they told me I would get my order would be august. Well my couch arrived before august, and upon arrival they brought me the wrong side sectional and I was still missing a piece of my part that was supposed to be delivered in November….. 5 months after I ordered my couch. November comes and I confirm my delivery tells me I’m getting the correct side of my couch that I ordered, keep in mind not even the completed couch. Oh yeah failed to mention my ottoman wouldn’t be delivered till January!!! I paid cash so when I asked for a refund they had to cancel my order and wait for approval on that and I won’t get my money until 4 weeks from now. If that’s even true. All they do is lie. The direct number to Ashley’s doesn’t even go to their store. They’ll do anything to try to avoid talking to you. Don’t waste your time. Rooms to go or bob mills has things in stock and delivery from the week you order. Things may be more expensive at those stores but it’s worth the money and not getting ripped off like me and paying for a uncompleted couch. Long story short if you want a couch from Ashley’s they will tell you a date just to get you to buy but you will end up waiting half a year just for a “complete set” that I don’t even have. Still an uncompleted couch.

With that being said, items purchased were not delivered on time and when I called them, (they didn't call me about a delay) they are saying delivery is scattered piece by piece until JULY. Supply shortage or not, don't lie to your customers. If you go with these folks expect longer than what they tell you. Well, it's July....delayed again. Told multiple things and the staff is now not very cooperative in trying to help the customer. Hands me a flyer and says call them. Terrible customer service this time and still no items

Very disappointed with the quality and service, not surprised though where do you find good service in Midland. Took over 2 months to get delivered, then to top it off they sent the wrong drawers for the bed so had to wait another couple of weeks, then they didn’t send all the handles then had to wait a couple of more weeks!!! To top it off it seems as if the bed is a little bigger than the mattress. I went to the store to ask and they said that it’s because of the mattress. Of course they wanted me to buy another mattress from them because apparently since the mattress wasn’t purchased with them that was the issue. But it didn’t make sense to me I had another 2 bed sets and the mattress fits perfectly on the other ones. So I ended up spending another 160 because they said maybe the bunkie board would fix the gab in between the bed and mattress which are the pictures. It becomes very annoying when stuff falls down into the gap or you can literally see what I have in the drawers because the gap is so obvious. It’s a good 3-4 inches!!! Finally the drawers all fit different and they don’t line up it’s all crooked and some drawers are harder to pull out then others. Also I’ve never written a review and it’s unfortunate that this has to be the first.

Bought back in February 2020 along with a 4 year protection plan called the purple cow now I can’t get my recliner fixed and Ashley’s not helping me and they sold me a warranty that doesn’t even help waste of money do not go shop there. Their excuses are oh that was the old owner we don’t use that plan anymore. No !! your Ashley’s furniture I don’t care who owns it y’all need to honor your customers.

I’ve already written a negative review, but I feel one is not enough. I feel it is now my mission to warn everybody to never buy from here. We’ve been dealing with Ashley since making the mistake of buying a couch from them in July. After our order kept getting pushed back and pushed back (after using the delivery date as a sales tactic) we finally cancelled. Throughout the whole process, people were unhelpful. Customer service made feeble attempts to make it right, but I didn’t feel valued as a customer at all. The process of trying to get a refund has also been a nightmare. They said it would be around 18 business days for us to get our refund. I called, (for the 3rd time since I was hung up on twice after a short conversation) and they let me know they haven’t even cut the check yet. Our ordered was cancelled, but they didn’t start the refund process until 3 1/2 weeks later. John, and the customer service people over text, were the only helpful people we’ve dealt with in these past 4+ months. Save yourself the trouble. Buy somewhere else.

I am not a “scathing review” writer. If I have a issue with a business, I just stop going there. But this is different… On 8/16/21 we ordered several thousand dollars worth of furniture from a very slow and inefficient salesperson and were told delivery in 5 weeks. We waited over 7 weeks before making our first call asking for update. Our salesperson said she would “put a rush” on our order. I’m assuming this is something she is trained to say to keep customers in the dark and avoid giving another eta. We called again later that week and the saleswoman put another “rush” on our order. We waited another week and then started calling customer service. They informed us that all of our furniture was on back order and there was no ETA. A different customer service rep states that the items were scheduled to be in the warehouse in early November or December (it was 1st week of October when we had the conversation). Fast forward to this week (1st week of November), we call customer service and are told we are now looking at January/February delivery dates. We call back the next day to cancel and are told our furniture would actually be ready in December. We press on to cancel and are told we have to cancel in person (why have a cancellation dept?). Upon attempting to cancel in person, my wife is pressured by the store manager and salesperson to buy something that was already in their warehouse instead of canceling. Finally they let her cancel and charge a 10% restocking fee which amounts to hundreds of dollars of course. **Keep in mind, none of our furniture was ever built, so the restocking fee is pure profit for Ashley’s.** They say on their order form and receipts etc that “Integrity is our number one core value” and then conduct business in this fashion. I understand that Covid has things all jacked up, and if they would have been honest with us up front and along the way, we may have stuck with them. We were obviously lied to multiple times by multiple departments after already spending thousands of dollars with them. A competent manager, with a focus on integrity, would not have stood for hundreds of dollars of restocking fees to be charged to customers who’s furniture hasn’t even been built after being over 100% off on a delivery estimate. I will do everything I can to keep friends, family, heck even strangers from having to go through this with these people.

I bought a couch on July 2021 to be delivered on November 2021, they delayed it to January 2022. I paid everything upfront, I feel like I gave them a 6 month interest free loan. They really do not know their supply lines well.

Worst furniture store ever! Ordered in January it is October and still have not received our furniture we have chairs but no table,1 third of a living set, mattress but no bed. We were give a estimate arrival date when we ordered didn't arrive.had to call multiple times for for updates. Tried to cancel before receiving anything was told we were able to cancel but still had to pay for everything even if we decide to not get anything. Almost done paying for everything and still nothing. The fact that this store is 4.4 stars on google is astonishing. Must be paying for positive reviews. Based on my experience and the experience of many others that I've talked to here in Midland this store should be rated a 1 star and that is because thats the lowest rating you can give. The store manager is rude, insincere, and unhelpful along with most of the store associates. Buyer Beware!!! There is no consistency within the company, they give you delivery dates that will push 1+ months back 2 days before your delivery date and the process will repeat with no end in sight. Don't expect any help from the manager or employees to get clarity on the issue or for that matter even care to. They basically recite the same rehearsed answers, completely insincere. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

I ordered a couch on 7/25/21 and was given a reasonable delivery estimate. No one called me to let me know of any delay. When I called to inquire about my order the automated voice told me the delivery estimate has been pushed back to 30 weeks! It's been 10 weeks already. I called the local store and told an associate I do not want to wait 3 quarters of a year for a couch and feel it's unfair to be expected to do so. My husband joked that it's the same length as a pregnancy, waiting for a couch to be delivered the same amount of time as waiting for a full term baby to be born. Also, I expressed frustration about their total lack of customer service. At what point will I be offered a refund? She said the only way to get a refund is minus a 10% cancellation fee. The only other option given to me is come select another couch. I don't want another anything from them. They just want to make the sale, then they don't care one bit about you. The only way to ever get through to the local store when calling them is to select option 3 "schedule a sales appointment." Any other button goes to an automated voice or an inbound only call center. The call center said they can't call to give me updates, and that it should be the local store that calls me. Updated to add reply: by the looks of all the other reviews who are saying they are having a similar experience with this store I would say this is becoming the norm. I did email my receipt and complaint to the address provided in the reply. I'd be surprised if I actually receive a reply.

Very bad experience here TWICE We had ordered a dining set a while back and we received them all one piece at a time. It was a very long time until we could finally assemble all the furniture together which was more than 6 months from the original time we had ordered. I cut them some slack and thought maybe that’s how they used to be but I was wrong. I had ordered 2 full beds and 1 night stand in june. It is now September almost october and we still have not received our furniture. To make matters worse they postponed it again and they are telling us our furniture will come in December. They had told us August, Then october, now december. I get things take time but this is ridiculous. My kids have been sleeping on the floor for so long now only for them to get their hopes up and crushed and postponed 2 months later. I do not reccomed this place in the slightest.

Don’t order from here if you actually want what you bought. I bought a coach In July of 21 in full and have yet to receive the full coach. When my fiancé and I bought the coach originally they gave us a firm date along with assuring us that all three pieces were in the warehouse and now it’s seems like every time I call, the delivery gets puts back a month to a current December ETA. Every time I call someone new answers and they keep telling me something different. So if you wondering if you should buy some furniture from ashley’s in midland then be prepared to wait several months before they give you a firm date and be frustrated with the different things the employees will say. If I would’ve know then I would have just saved my money which can’t be refunded.

This has been the worst experience imaginable! We ordered our furniture June 19th. Our salesman at the time told us he would keep us updated with the status of our delivery. Well.... two and a half months later, we find out he isn't apart of the company anymore. And no other salesman picked up our order to give us an update. $11k in furniture mind you. So finally, after going back into the store, we get told that our furniture has been sitting in the warehouse for the past month! They were just waiting on one item, which we had taken from the store because our salesman said that aren't making them anymore, so if we wanted it we could just take that one, so we did. Miscommunication on Ashley's Furniture part! So, we finally schedule our delivery, and we received it today; without our mattress, the drawers that goes under our bed, and our chester dresser that we were told would be delivered. Oh! and also, without our living room set that now they say won't get here until 2023!!! I'm tired of getting horrible service from customers service who continues to tell me they can't help! Don't do business with Ashley's Furniture!!!

BUYER BEWARE!! Purchased a matching living room set in January 2021 and received our couches in February but without the ottoman. Every month we are being given excuses as to why we aren’t receiving it and last month we were told guaranteed by Sept. 11 and, no surprise, now showing October 16. We still do not have our furniture 8 MONTHS LATER!!! The google reviews show happy customers but read Yelp! Same thing happened to multiple customers and no refunds so now we are out money! I would not give any stars if given the choice right now.

I seriously want to give 0 stars. I'm extremely upset, frustrated, and disappointed with Ashley. We went couch shopping back in July. Most places quoted us a couch around September or October. Ashley Home store said a couch would be ready for delivery on August 14th. They used that as a selling point and it's why we went with a couch from them rather than somebody else. When we called to schedule delivery, they said it had been pushed back to September 13th. We had family in town with no couch. We understand Covid has set things back but they did nothing to help us leave as satisfied customers. I called 3 days after that and the couch had been pushed back again to September 27th. We went into the store to talk about it and all they said was it was pushed back to October 12th. They shrugged us off and said to text our original sales associate as she wasn't in that day. When I texted her two days later, the couch had been pushed back again and she did nothing other than offer us discontinued couches that were nothing like the one we ordered. We were considering buying other furniture there, but we will never be returning because the customer service is terrible. Everybody is apathetic there and doesn't value us as customers. At least Rooms2Go, Haverty's, and every other furniture store in the Midland/Odessa area were honest about their delivery dates. We'll be shopping there in the future so we can have furniture when it's promised to us and visitors won't have to sit on the floor because a sales associate sugarcoated things to get a sale.

Sales reps to eager to sell. We kept asking what the wait time was for a bedroom set. They wouldn’t disclose how long we would wait. We decided to look online and it said 6 months for the one that we liked. Sales rep kept avoiding the question. We walked out only to find out the sales rep put in the application for the credit card without telling us. Avoid this location if you can.

Great experience working with Teresa. Just as we expected, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a sales associate (Teresa). We let Teresa know that we needed some time to make a decision. She gave us the time and space to make that decision. While we shopped around the store, one other sales guy (baldy - watch out for this guy - he’s a liar) exclaimed how he was sorry he didn’t greet us, that Teresa was picking up his slack while he finished up with another set of customers, and that Teresa was merely his assistant. Seemed a little fishy to me.. I’m in the sales business and that is called skating customers. It’s unfair to customers, creates a horrible purchasing environment, and is a toxic work environment for the other sales associates. Baldy clearly has stolen customers from other sales associates before and has his lie down to an art. Anyhow, when we made our decision, Teresa wasn’t far away, we went directly to her and she walked us through the purchasing process for our selection. During that process baldy walked by and saw that Teresa was closing us and smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up but then shook his head negatively with a look of disgust on his face. Teresa was an incredible help the whole way through and we will continue to use Teresa for purchases here, and avoid baldy at all costs. If there’s one type of person I can’t stand it’s a liar, and if I could leave that individual a review I would leave a negative one. We were pleased with our experience at Ashley’s today. The salesman and staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. We got what we needed at a good price (Labor Day weekend sale). After we found what we wanted the process was quick and painless. Will shop there again.

Ordered a dining table and chairs almost 6 months ago. When ordered it, I was told it would be here in 8 to 12 weeks. I honestly don't think that we are ever going to get this order that we have already PAID In FULL for. Every time I call to check the status, it has been pushed back further and further. The excuse I keep getting is that things are backed up at all furniture stores and there's no reason to try to go somewhere else because I'll have the same results. Well that is NOT true. My mother in law got furniture from Rooms To Go in 2 weeks! To get our money back from Ashley Furniture is going to be a fight that I am not sure will go well. I do NOT recommend purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture!!!

DO NOT BUY HERE! I ordered furniture in APRIL at the MIDLAND location and arranged for home delivery at my home 3 hours away. I get a call in JULY saying that they no longer deliver to my area. I called their number and I speak to someone that's God knows where and they tell me to call the store, no one at the store answers or they put you on hold and hang up. I decided to go to the store in person and they assured me that my furniture would be delivered and that everything is fine. Today I get a call saying that my order is ready to be picked up in LUBBOCK! 6 hours away from me. I canceled my order and will never buy here again. STAY AWAY! THEY ARE NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORD FROM THE START!

I was very disappointed with my visit to Ashley’s in Midland. First our sales associate seemed to not really know what he was doing or hadn’t received enough training. My husband and I waited patiently as he seemed to need help with everything. We decided to go ahead and purchase since we were told we would be receiving our items September 1st or the 2nd. After we were there for hrs we finally paid got our copies and it was time to set up delivery. It ended up that our items were not in stock and we walked out with no delivery date or even an estimated time! As of today we still have not heard anything! Very frustrated!

BUYER BEWARE: The absolute worse experience EVER. You would be better served to buy your furniture from a Thrift store. It would be in better condition. Five months and counting this drama continues. They delivered a sofa back in April and as of August 30th they have failed after multiple attempts to either fix, replace, or refund for the gapped sofa they keep delivering. Please note their policy says you can return items but I attempted to do that since day one and they wouldn't allow. Basically, they break their own policies . I went almost six weeks without a sofa and finally accepted one today ,even though it is still damaged ,just to have seating. I had to file a BBB complaint just to get this far and will continue to complain. I will pursue every avenue possible to get this resolved. It is ridiculous that they think they can get away with this. I attached original photo so you can see the GAPS. One of their associates even tried to say it was made that way. WHATEVER ! I will share my experience with anyone and everyone who will listen. I am disabled and my husband is elderly so I guess we were easy targets for this company with no morals. Update: Contacted the numbers below. Their solution is to reorder the sofa. PS: This was supposed to have been done five months ago so not exactly a NEW idea, just no NEW sofa. They also credited me a $128, which isn.t enough to get this TRASHY furniture to the dump. Their customer service does everything to cover their failures but nothing to fix the problem. They want to continue to drag this out and I am just over it. I will spend my life sharing this experience in order to save future VICTIMS of this company. They should be shut down.

I my husband and I bought a sectional set and oversized ottoman on JUNE 9th. They told us it would be delivered within 4-6weeks which was totally fine, it’s now AUGUST 30th and still no couches. Everytime we call and ask for a delivery date they don’t answer. Put us on hold and hand up. The couches are PAID for and even if we get a refund it wound arrive for another “3-6weeks”

The shopping experience was okay but the sales rep seemed way to eager to sell and was honestly off putting. They also offered me financing which I did but was surprised to find out that I was signed up for a credit card as opposed to some kind of loan. Not upset but disappointment that they didn’t disclose that what I was signing up for was a credit card.

One of the worst experiences EVER! going on 5 months with a broken love seat and still no sofa. Have called customer service over and over who then told me to call the store which then tells me to call customer service which again tells me to call the store!!! Total crapshoot!!!! We bought a TV entertainment hutch. Friendly folks, I had to wait a little bit, but they were pretty busy. Once it was my turn, they were quick about getting me set up for delivery and making sure I got the furniture piece I wanted. They delivered when they said and were very careful not to hit walls or other furniture.

Yup just like all the hundreds of other reviews, I placed my order on May and still nothing up to date, they told me until September 😡 and every time I call they give me different delivery dates, now I have canceled everything! Won’t ever go back to ashley furniture, just giving heads up if you want your furniture to arrive really late here is the place!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a hello welcome to Ashley furniture store but was also able to walk around and look freely. They were not hovered over me trying to pressure me into buying anything. Very nice furniture and several couches I really liked that were real leather.

Going to edit my review. When I went and ordered the furniture I was told it would take certain amount of time. Example: my bed set was supposed to take 6 weeks according to the sales associate. I was fine with it since I was moving and calculated I was going to take that amount of time with moving and painting etc. The table I ordered took 8 weeks to get delivered. And my bedroom set has YET to come. Everytime I call I always get a answering machine and never talk to anyone. When my table got delivered the associate on the phone said it was the vanity that was holding the delivery back. I told her if anything just deliver the bed Frame itself since I don't have any furniture. Was told I would get a call back and never did. If I knew I was going to keep getting a run around I wouldn't have ordered anything and went a route. Update: never got a call from Ashley's I called and they canceled my order and never told me aything. This is the worst experience ever. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE MIDLAND STORE!!! bought a couch in April 2021. They said 2 to 6 WEEKS for a delivery. It's now August still no couch. I called and they said possibly December or longer! Ended up having to get my money back.They pushed it back even further to an undetermined date even though I was told by two of the workers on two different occasions they had the couch at the warehouse. When I went back to the store to get my refund because you can't ever get an actual person who works at the midland store you get some call center. They asked me if wanted to walk around and look for another couch to see if I find one I like and they could see if they have new couch at the warehouse. I said no thank you because I already walked around and found a couch I like. I liked it so much I bought it. 1700 dollars likeed it. I didn't want a refund I wanted the couch lol They issued me my check and said 2 to 6 weeks because it was coming from Canada. A week later I got the check.

Do not claim be the #1 Furniture and mattress store when your delivery system is horrible. My wife and I purchased some furniture that was promised to us in 6 to 8 weeks. That would have been due in June of 2021. When I called to check on my order they told it was delayed 1 month. I called today 7/27/21 and now turns out it has been delayed once again but now it's till December! I have been paying the monthly payment that is required of me and I know that if I didn't pay my bill or was late there would be consequences for me immediately. So I ask where are the consequences for Ashley Home store for not doing what they assured me. Don't buy here people don't leave your house incomplete just to be waiting for something they can't deliver. Worst experience ever!!!!

I have been trying to call about my coyches that have been delayed by 2 months already, and now they won't answer for 2 days. Ordered couches in March. Have been given 6 different “estimated deliveries.” I still don’t have couches. I have no earthly clue how they have an overall score of 4.4 but please don’t be fooled. This is a horribly run business. I’m starting to think if I started now I would be on hold with customer service until the order arrives. UPDATE: Almost 20 weeks since I ordered my couch set. I’m now going on 2 months and apparently they only have one piece of furniture. This is ridiculous. My child’s bedroom set included, they’ve been sleeping on an air mattress. They just want to sell. Edit: was able to file a bank claim for missing items. Last date I was given was Mid August for delivery. AFTER BUYING IN APRIL. Been waiting since April for my furniture! They’re only trying to save what little face they have left. I’ve been through numerous ways to contact them and none of them work. What a sorry excuse to take people’s hard earned money.

Ordered a couch 3/23/21 and it is 6/16/21. Was told it would be 2-4 weeks. This is about 3 times longer than expected this far. Every time I call, I never get a direct date that it will be here. Something they don't tell you when you purchase is that is will be longer than you expect, customer service does not help nor give an accurate date, if you ask for a refund their policy is they don't give refunds. Their refund is 75% of what you pay is what you get back but not in your account, it is an in-store credit. Be wary buying from these thieves, they just want your money and don't have a care in the world for your furniture or their customers.

Absolutely worst sales associate met us at the door. She asked what we were looking for but couldn’t be bothered to put her phone away. If I could give negative stars I would. By far the worst customer service ever!! We ordered several pieces of furniture and as I type I have yet to receive my furniture. I have attempted to call the store which no one ever answers or they leave you on hold forever!!!! They never bother to call you on updates as to why furniture has not arrived. We have been waiting on this piece of furniture since back in March. I am really disgusted and upset with Ashley's because they should be on outstanding furniture place and they are the complete opposite. The worse service ever all the way around!!

Very disappointed with this store I’ve purchased a living room set from them last year in July didn’t receive it until December and had credit due to them getting it wrong which obviously happens a lot more than I thought and my account was credited so I purchased some bar stools in April still not able to get a response as to when I will receive these items and no answer from sales associate either. I ordered a bed frame & a mattress on April 5th (i paid in cash) . They said it would take 2 or 3 weeks to come in, every time I called to get a update on my delivery they never answered so I finally just decided to get a refund on May 12th (I had to go back up to the store) they said it would take 5 to 7 days to receive my refund check in my mail. Days passed i called again then they said give it 14 days. Deserves 0 stars. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Went with my father to purchase a bedroom set amongst other things. When it wasn’t delivered on the delivery date that was given to him, we called and were told that the delivery guys had been on the street over from where they were supposed to be and left back to Lubbock instead of putting forth some effort in finding the correct street. We have been given 3 diff delivery dates since then and the last time we called they said that for some reason their system showed that the order was “suspended” they could not give us a why or by whom. We are now going into the 4th month of waiting for the furniture and hearing constant lies. We were told by a friend that the stuff they ordered never came after 7 months of waiting and that they had to sue in order to get their money back. We will be starting the same proceedings if this last promised delivery date is not met by this Friday 5-28-2021. For those of you that don’t know it is extremely easy to do, just go down to the court house in Midland by the train tracks and ask what the process is. They cannot legally hold your money hostage while failing to deliver the promised product. YOU CAN SUE THEM IN CIVIL COURT & WIN!

The recent 4-5 star reviews must be fake. If you actually want your furniture delivered, find somewhere else to go. Do not listen to the sales associates. Great sales lady and staff, but I’ve been waiting for 2 months on my furniture and still haven’t heard anything. Have called up to 8 times in a day during business hours and never get an answer. I have made 2 payments already on furniture I don’t have.

Ordered a living room set back in January and still haven't had it all delivered. They had no problem starting to collect monthly payments for it even though it still hasn't been received. I was initially told 6-8 weeks, it's now been 16 weeks and I'm constantly being told within another 2 weeks. It's been 2 months of "2 weeks" and at this point I want them to come pick up what they delivered and forget about the rest of it and just refund me! This is ridiculous!!! Do NOT order from this company.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We have had terrible customer service since the beginning of our purchase. We were not given a lead time when we purchased our furniture and were told the we would receive it the 1st week of April. Then, they changed it to the last week of April. Then, my husband called and checked and it was it wouldn’t be coming until June. After speaking with the corporate office then there was a “rush” put on it and now it’s supposedly going to show up may 16th. We have still received no updates from the company besides what we have sought out to get. This is a horrible business and we will never be purchasing from any Ashley furniture again. Save yourself the time and headache and go to Rooms to Go. They actually take care of their customers.

I DONT recommend this furniture store at ALL yes they have beautiful furniture but they promise you one thing and don’t keep their word I bought furniture in the beginning of March 2021 and they had promised me that I would receive my furniture on April 17 I didn’t receive my furniture I recently went to the store to see what was going on the lady that was there said that almost everything was here in Midland that they could do a partial delivery for the items available they would deliver this Thursday 13th ,Thursday pass by no furniture went back to the store on Friday same lady was there and she said that I wouldn’t be receiving the items until June, they said I could cancel my order but I wouldn’t be fully reimburse I JUST WANT MY FURNITURE!!!!!!!!!

This location in midland is starting to make me mad. We bought the door buster sofa and love seat during the previous black Friday 2020 and we have recieved the sofa only. Wife keeps calling to get an update on the love seat and keep getting the run around by giving her later date and a later date. This is getting ridiculous. We need our product or our money back

The sales people are great but the furniture delivery estimates are wildly off. We purchased our furniture and were told delivery would be 2 to 6 weeks. That was 3 months ago. They are hard to contact, and don't answer the phone. We had to call the Lubbock store to get anyone to check on the status of our furniture. I've been paying the bill but according the latest we've heard, it's still going to be another week or possibly longer. Very frustrating.

DO YOUR RESEARCH ABOUT ASHLEY’S! I purchased a living room set and dining set in January. It is now May and I have received 3/9 items!! I tried contacting customer service for months when the Midland store said they could do nothing. Got through to CS last month was able to get the 3 pieces (2 table chairs and an ottoman). Because to top it off I used The Ashley credit card and they started billing me in Feb even though I never received items till April and still don’t have them all!! And to make things worse they say I might not receive other items till June POSSIBLY (when originally it was February!!!) Ashley’s is a SCAM they take your money and give you no way to cancel without losing it!! The local store offers no help beyond “placing a rush” and telling you to call CS. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

This is the worst place to buy anything, I bought a bed set for my daughter since January 2021 and still haven’t received anything yet and was supposed to receive it since February and we’re in May 2021, and every time I call it’s always something different such as money or parts, they’re never organized always got to make a excuse about something, and manager wasn’t any help ,you ask for a discount or your item but they only could do $75 on store credit, like for what to buy a piece a wood! I recommend not to buy here or they will do the same to you.

This is the WORST furniture store ever. I didn’t listen when people told me their furniture is low quality and service was even worse. The workers here are willing to tell you whatever lies to get you to make a purchase because they work off of commission. They lied to us about our arrival date for our table just to make a sale. And here we are waiting 2 months for our delivery to even be scheduled. Do not shop here. Their furniture is mediocre at best and the service is even worse. 10/10 would not recommend. If I could give less than one star I would.

In the store was easy. But every single aspect has been hell after. Delivery was told one date but then not delivered and when I tried to call it is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone. Requested am automated call back numerous times with no call back. The chat room was the only way to get a response and was not helpful. No one has been helpful after leaving the store. Overpriced furniture to take over a month to be delivered and zero customer service help. Never again with this company.

Although Ashley's have lovely furniture, their staff has an exceptional way of telling you what you want to hear. My fiancé and I bought an entire living room set back in February and we were told we would receive it all in about 3-8 weeks. We walked out of there very excited.. 3 months later we have not heard a word on anything that we bought. We visited the store many time between then and now and when we asked about the refund all they had to offer was store credit.. and for what? To wait a potential 3 months + for something else.. We ended up going to Bob Mills furniture and bought an entire bedroom set.. and it was delivered a week later.. funny how that works. I have grown tired of walking into that deceiving store and had tried calling them several times only to sit and wait on the phone for hours and when I finally got the chance to press 0 and have them call me back they never did.. Not once! They could have told us that the wait was going to be longer and I would have respected that.. but I have heard nothing from anyone.. I will Never buy anything from this store again.. You cannot believe anything they say because they will tell you what you want to hear and weeks will go by and you will be left questioning if your furniture will ever arrive.. So with the lies and deception and the fail to have the dignity to answer a phone call, this place is the last place I will ever go for anything..

See from the midland store is unprofessional, rude and has no customer service he hung up on me and than didn’t answer the store phone after that called about five times have been waiting 6 months for my order.

My experience shopping at Ashley store was a pleasant one. Barbara Reyes was very efficient and made my buying process a breeze. She is an asset to their company. I will certainly go through her for my future furniture needs! I would certainly give her a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating!

Made a purchase on 3/1/21 with expected 4-6 week delivery. It’s now 4/26/21 and have had no updates on the order. The customer service is non-existent. The phone for the Midland store location is never answered and voicemails are not accepted. I’ve called at all times of the day. I have even called and texted the sales associate who helped us at the store and no response. I can understand delays in the delivery process but communicating this over phone/email would be appreciated.

The product came damaged. The delivery person asked me to call customer service to resolve the issue. I have been calling for a week. There were either 15+ customers ahead of me or the office is closed. Leaving call back number never got me a call back.

Terrible services. We were told our furniture would arrive one date and it got pushed back 3 times. It has been approximately 4 months that we've ordered furniture and it still isn't complete. Customer service does not help over the phone either. The only thing they are able to let you know that it's in the process. We also tried getting ahold of our sales representative and he has completely ghosted on us.

I have called the Midland store probably 11 times in the last two trying to get ahold of someone. Will. Not. Answer. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Although I am happy for the bed and table I bought. Over time I have noticed problems with the company. First, when I bought my furniture I was told that everything would arrive 5-8 weeks later. It has been 4 months and l am still waiting for my sofa bed. If I had been informed at the beginning that it would take longer for it to arrive I would have made another selection. Every time I ask about the status of delivery I keep getting told the manufacturer keeps pushing back the date of delivery because by sofa bed is out of stock. Make sure you look if the product is in stock before ordering it. Second, if you want to speak to customer service be prepared to wait a minimum of 40 minutes. And you I’ll have to wait, because if you choose the option to have them call you back when they are done, you will receive that call back.

Our experience at the Midland store has been and continues to be nothing but promises and lies. We ordered furniture 7 weeks ago and have yet to get ALL of it. We were told that we would be able to get a loaner living room set since it would be several more weeks for ours to come in but instead received our original order which was half of a set instead. When I called the store they told me there was a miscommunication between them and the warehouse so I was told to go to the store to pick out a loaner set. After driving over an hour and a half to get there, they didn’t even have a set to loan me. This would mark the 3rd time for me going up there to see where my order was. It has been very frustrating trying to get my furniture delivered after being promised and lied to so many times. I would not recommend anyone spending their money here just to get lied to. I am sitting here at the store writing this review while they are checking on my order AGAIN. (4th visit)

DON'T BUY. I will never buy furniture from Ashley's. I purchased a living room set and a dining room table back in October 15, 2020. I was told it would take 3-4wks at most 6 wks for delivery. At the end of December I finally received my couches after nagging them for days. It is now April 2021 and I have yet to receive my dinning room table. In other words it's been 6 MONTHS. They are a joke!!!!! And no one answers or calls me back.

Before you pay for anything, you need to get a list of items you want and look them up 1st. They do some shady stuff and that's the only way your gonna know. I had a $150 credit and saw a chest that I wanted to buy that said $735 in the online midland store, so I'm thinking I'd get it relatively cheap. They said that $735 was the online price and not the franchise price of $900. Also, once you hand over that card, you are at their mercy. Read very closely those 3 rules they circle and have you initial on the back of your invoice.

We ordered January 13, 2021 and it’s March 28, 2021 and we still haven’t received our complete order. They don’t do refunds or cancellations or changes for another item. We still have plenty of furniture to buy for our home and we won’t be using them again. Terrible customer service, in fact one worker told us all but ONE customer service agent has quit. Everything is built in California, my suggestion is don’t sell what you can’t produce!

We placed our order on December 28, 2020. Initially were told that we would receive our order in 4-6 weeks. When nothing came, we would call or go up to the store and they have said they same thing, "oh, you'll hear something about your shipment in two weeks." It's now almost April. NEVER did we receive a phone call or email from them. We called Ashley's corporate office, and the Midland store is not apart of the franchise. This store is independently owned. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!! This store should be investigated for fraud.

We bought our 2 piece couch from them in December 2020. It has been 4 MONTHS and they have not delivered it. We bought a product from your business knowing it will be delivered in 6-8 weeks. It was a mistake not reading all the horrible reviews and similar experiences people have had with Ashley's on Better Business Bureau. Please be honest with your customers about the delivery.

I purchased my dream couch in January and til this day am still waiting on it to arrive. Every time I call the date is pushed another month. Getting in touch with customer service is a pain. Always at least 30 something in line. Poor service.

Awesome deals and pretty good treatment

Bought a sofa, chair, and ottoman on 12/13/20. Paid cash and given an initial delivery date of 1/9/21. That passed - made multiple attempts to contact without success. My grandson went to the store and I was then given a delivery date of 2/17/21. That passed and made more attempts to contact. On 2/28 I was told it would be "next week or so", that passed. Grandson went back to the store - given a date of March 16th. That passed and I have been unable to reach anyone. Called, no answer, left messages, no returned call, sent email, no response and furniture has not been delivered. I plan on asking for a refund and will never enter their store again.

We went to Ashley Home Store in Midland just to look. Alvino Pacheco greeted us right away. He stayed with us through looking at sectionals. We then looked at bedroom furniture and ended up buying a new bedroom suite. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience! Ordered my stuff in July of 2020. I keep getting told every month I will get my stuff next month. It’s now March 2021 and just got told now April is new delivery. Sad part is they only brought me half my desk and forgot the other half. Also, it takes an hr to get a hold of someone on the 1800 number. Absolutely worse customer service.

I recieved help from Junior C. in Midland who is an awsome salesman and this is my second time ordering with them and the first one was just as a good experience as this one. I plan to refer any friends or family to purchase their furniture here due to friendly and very helpful staff and very efficient delivery times. Went to different furniture places to window shop and ashleys had the best prices overall. Both sofas and dining table set were purchased . Will also plan to go back to get the rest or my furniture with them.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IN MIDLAND, TX! They take your money and you never see the furniture you ordered! It's been two months, and they keep promising it will be delivered, or say they will call you for a delivery date, but they never do. Customer service won't answer, and they refuse to call us when we leave a request to call! After the first month, we asked for our money back, and Ashley said THEY DO NOT DO REFUNDS! What company does not give refunds for items that are never delivered? They are basically stealing from people; taking their money and never delivering what was promised. I cannot believe Ashley has the nerve to keep their doors open. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM! There is no stock in their warehouse. It's a lie.
