Not pushy or suggestive just on the ready to answer my questions, steer me to color, size and suggested design that I requested. If all salespersons were this helpful buying furniture or furnishings it would be sooooo much easier for the customer. Made me glad that I went there and had Her assistance.

Just got done paying off our bed and it falling apart the crew that set it up left so many of the support legs dangling in the air that the whole left side of the bed it’s a nightly routine of fixing all the legs and prying they’ll last till morning

My son bought a house so needed to fill it. We were greated by Martha and manager Tom, they let us browse with no pressure, and were helpful when needed. We also got great Memorial Day deals. So many selections it was hard to decide, but we did and now have a house full of furniture. Very happy.

Karen was our salesman and she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the items we chose. She has a lot of patience with us as we went back and forth on deciding what we wanted for hours. Tom gave us a steal of a deal we couldn't resist. Our experience was great.

It started off great! But paying almost $500 for delivery/set up and another $800 for a protection plan and not being told about either is unprofessional. Then the 1st delivery guys didn’t even set up our bed & the 2nd set broke both of our special order stair gates, busted the banister, and left holes/cracks/scratches in 3 different walls. They dropped our son’s dresser 3 times and broke his top shelf. We will stick with Bob Mills & Rooms 2 Go in the future. Over $4k in furniture ordered and probably $1k or more in damages. Unbelievable.

Great store but really hated customer service. You can't even view the store without them just following you and try to sell you everything. It gets really annoying. And one of the things I hated was the fact that we ordered our bedroom set, and they gave us the dresser with it when we didn't even want it and charged us for it. So we just got ripped off without even seeing it until later.

If your furniture is delivered damaged expect to stay that way! Customer service is pathetic and truly needs to have a refresher on what customer service means.

Sold me a chest for 1000 damaged cracked and glued on one drawer 3 of the other drawers face are about to come apart very cheap furniture wont last a month. Response was to fix it, it cant be fixed its cheap no screws or staples its meant to fall apart. I need my money back. Consumer protection agency is next.

Warning never by anything from Ashley furniture. We purchased a sectional from this locations and was promised the delivery date we requested in order to close the deal. Once they had our money they changed that date and forced us to go to Lubbock to get it ourselves. Once we received it was damaged with an open pen inside the packaging which reported same day. It has been 30 plus days now and multiple calls and visits to the store and care with promises to make it right and refusing a return. The tech final showed up to fix it and did the best he could but it is noticeably different. The material is already coming apart. Ashley service to this point has been horrendous

We ordered 14,000$ worth of furniture here. We are very pleased with the quality of furniture. However, two of the beds we ordered were not complete. We did not receive slats or a box spring for the full size mattress so we have to leave it on the floor. We did not receive a box spring for our king bed so just have the mattress on slats making it very uncomfortable. The men who delivered our orders said the sales people should have told us that but no one did. I have called customer service they said I had to go to store. My husband called Ashley Furniture and spoke with someone and said he’s not paying for these items or they can take what we owe off the warranty that we don’t really need and he also said we also have to come to store and refused my husband’s request to speak to a manager. This is difficult we don’t live in midland and have one car my husband works on the oilfield. I do not know why no one at the store or customer service can help us with this.

It was a quick purchase. I said exactly what I was looking for, kept it within my budget, and left within an hour. Super friendly!

I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. This was my first time to shop here. Besides the process taking a long time, which was no fault of the person assisting me, the store seemed to not want business. After deciding to purchase the item, they did not have any wrap or protective material to help with transferring it home. The "helpers" seemed as if they needed help with the loading process. After all of that, I get it home and there is a piece missing from one of the chairs so now it wobbles. I used to think Ashley Furniture was quality furniture. Now I feel that I could get the same quality at a flea market!

Staff was nice and helpful. Only issue was their system wasn't working correctly for us to take home the floor model bedding, since their warehouse was out. So checking out took an extra 30 min. They didn't seem very concerned, joked around, and took their time while we waited. That's the only problem I personally had with the transaction. Other than that, no complaints.

I went in the store to place my order. The sales lady got all my information off of my ID. I let her know I was in the process of moving and needed my order sent to my new address not the 1 on my ID. She said she didn't know how to change it but would have someone help her later and to call in the morning (the day of delivery) to make sure the driver had the correct address. I called the next morning and they said everything was good to go and my order would be delivered to my new address on time. I got the notification that they had arrived then got a call from my mom saying they were at her house. The delivery driver was polite and professional and let me know that the old address was the 1 he had for delivery and couldn't change route without going through the proper channels. I hung up with him and called the store the lady I spoke with wasn't helpful at all and wanted me to cancel and reorder my purchase. While I was on the phone with her the Lubbock hub called me and informed me that they had changed the route for the driver to deliver my order that day. The gentleman at the hub and the driver informed me that this isn't the first time someone in the store dropped the ball on a delivery and made it difficult for everyone else. I gave 3 srars bc the driver and hub were helpful and professional. The store communication needs work.

Be careful with Ashley. I was told I have 5 years no interest to pay for my furniture but when the loan provider contacted me, Ashley LIED, I only have 2 years and if I was not on top of my stuff I would have NEVER known the truth. So they will tell you 5 years but it’s not and you will have to pay all that interest, so be careful and read your paperwork. Another issue is my couch was damaged when I moved, so Ashley sent the part( took 4 months) the technician comes and try to fix the couch, after he takes the couch apart he says Ashley sent the wrong part. He does not put the couch back together and says, DONT SIT ON THE COUCH, Ashley has to send the correct part and he doesn’t know how long it will take, this is unacceptable. We could sit on the couch before and now we have a couch we can’t even sit on, and Ashley customer service was No help!

Wish I could give zero stars. Was told how bad this furniture store is and I still went. Ordered my large black rug on Nov 11, 2024 and it’s currently Jan 2025 and have yet to receive my rug. Customer service gives me the run around and the store associates aren’t any help since they just give you the customer service number…. Lost my business for life.

UPDATE: Corporate has stepped up and honored the additional warrant and was able to fix my couch. If I could I would give them zero stars. I have nothing but issues with them since I bought my furniture. The store people will deceive you on the extra warranty by tell you it starts after the year from them. Apparently it does not. When you have issues and call for warranty work you get the run around and the warehouse will loose your items. Buyer beware. If you can definitely go somewhere else. I will never buy from them again.

I was highly disappointed in the quality of the $700 recliner I bought online. It took us over the 72-hour return policy acceptance time to be able to get the chair to my dad because of health reasons. When we did get the chair to him, it wasn't solid or sturdy enough. Part of the reason for missing the 72-hour cut-off for the return was because when the chair was delivered, the box was shredded, and some parts were missing. I contacted the makers of the chair first and waited a day to hear back from them, only to be told that I would have to go thru Ashleyfurniture.com. I was told that the chair manufacturer had contacted Ashley, and I would have to wait for them to contact me. I'm still waiting! I even called and checked to make sure they had been told about the missing parts, and was told that they did, and I just needed to wait to be contacted. I still haven't been. So wouldn't that mean Ashleyfurniture is at fault for missing the 72-hour deadline?? When I tried to return the chair (after not hearing back about missing parts and dad not finding the chair comfortable or solid enough), I was denied because it was over the 72 hours. I tried to explain what happened and was dismissed. I found the product and the customer service to be severely lacking. If someone from Ashleyfurniture.com would like to take a second go at working with me on this issue, I would be more than happy to do so. This chair was bought for my elderly father and his health made it impossible for him to try it out until it was past the 72 hours, I'm sure anyone with an elderly parent/ grandparent or a heart would understand! And...... there are still missing parts and Ashley still hasn't contacted me back about them! So it breaks down like this; I eat it on a $700 (overly) priced chair that doesn't meet expectations, and I do not even get my missing parts! Nice!

Edit: To the owner who responded, the fact that you call an attempt to scam $1000 out of me miscommunication is hilarious. Also it wasnt your locations customer support, I had to call corporate. Will never shop here again. The only reason I kept my order is because of customer support and the discount they gave me on my 10k order for my new mattress & adjustable base. The sales rep who set me up to purchase my new bed pretty much tricked me into an additional 1k worth of product. A $500 bed cover that she told us was free & an extended warranty. Made us sign for our "gift" and receive text messages asking if we got our "gift" only to see a $500 charge for it later on. When I asked her about it she said "who told you it was a gift? Who told you that?"... I don't know maybe the person who suddenly handed me a bed cover and was like "on the house just sign here to show you received it since we don't deliver these!" ANYWAY... CS agreed that the product was supposed to be free and thus removed it from my order and also gave me an additional amount off my order to not lose the sale. With that said, the sales rep was also refusing to communicate with anyone because she believes she's a know it all. I have a prior back injury that's supposed to cover the taxes off my order with a prescription that I had. She told me it only covered the mattress. After speaking to a customer service rep, they informed me that was incorrect and I relayed that information back to the sales rep and she immediately told me that was wrong, and when I asked her if she was sure & if there was anyone she could ask she said "no" and long explanation on why that wasn't correct. I later called another CS agent and they informed me once again that she was incorrect and offered to do the prescription for me, which they did and removed the taxes for both the mattress & base before delivery. I won't mention the name of the sales rep just because my experience shouldn't define others with her but I definitely won't return.

Terrible Experience - Do Not Buy Here! I wish I could give this place zero stars. I bought a bed that looked decent in the store, but when it was delivered, it was an absolute disaster. The material is almost plastic-like, completely different from what they showed in the store. It feels cheap, uncomfortable, and nothing like what I was promised. The worst part is the deception from the salespeople. They show you "similar" products in the store, but when the real thing arrives, it's a totally different, low-quality product. They are nothing but liars trying to make a quick sale. This is the worst store you can choose for buying anything. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these scammers! Liars!

I have now bought several pieces of furniture from this Ashley’s store, this is a great place! Several of the other furniture stores in Midland have very pushy salesmen, but the team here at Ashley’s aren’t pushy at all. They let you look around and do your thing. We even told them we were leaving to go look at a couple other stores (just to be thorough) and they were totally cool with it. But then, after having to practically run out of the other stores just to not be hounded into buying, we came back and bought from Ashley’s again easy peasy.

This is the third time I've bought from Ashley's, albeit from three different stores. Dealing with TJ at the Midland, TX store was very nice. He was able to answer any questions we had and did not push our pressure us. So glad we decided to stop in and looking forward to getting our furniture in a few days.

Josh and Michael were amazing, Justin is not very friendly nor personal. And the way he talks to his employees in a condescending manner was very unpleasant. He was really nice to the guy who was buying everything cash, but had really bad attitude towards the other clients. But again Josh and Michael did an incredible job.

I am actually very upset with this store, we bought a mattress and a bed set, we had to wait three weeks for the bed to be delivered, when the bed arrived it arrived incomplete without box springs, which is where the mattress is placed so you can sleep, we called the store and after two or three days without getting an answer, they told us that we had to buy that part separately for almost $300 when they never told us that that part was not included. A horrible lack of professionalism from both the store manager and the saleswoman, they should look for trained personnel to do this type of work.

Tom noticed I was looking at dining tables and immediately helped me, he's the store manager. He called Justin over, his assistant manager to help as well. They had great customer service and I honestly bought my dining table from them because of how helpful they were. Highly recommend Ashley's furniture, Tom and Justin will take care of you!

What an absolute racket. Completely deceptive business practices. You go online to look at furniture, you add it to cart, add the protection plan, add the delivery cost and get the total price. Then you go into the store with that information and apply for the 60 month financing on the items/protection/delivery and the total they give you is exponentially more than online. They say online items are “discounted”-nowhere online does it show the items are on sale. So in store it’s $1,000 more for the same furniture, $400 more for the same protection plan, and $90 more for the same delivery. Absolutely ludicrous and a total money grab. We will just stick with our current furniture.

My sister got a twin bed temp bed with an adjustable . The sales man told my sister that if she wasn't happy with her bed within 90 days that she can return it and they would get her another one. Well he lied to her or the person on the phone lied to her and she misunderstood Well she didn't misunderstood That is what he told her because I was there and grand kids was there. You are taking advantage of a disabled lady and God knows about you lieing to her. She called in after the third time of sleeping on it and informed the person on the phone , that she was unhappy with the bed and the person told her it takes 30 days then call back and she done that. Now she is being told that you can't take it back.For 1 that's lieing and bad business You will answer to God for this!!!!!

The staff and service were great when I purchased the couches. However, the delivery of the couches was not great.. They were not careful when delivering the couches and left a few stains already. Repair tech never came out when called and scheduled for. I still have not received the ottoman and wedge. I purchased the couch back in March. I get calls every other week to reschedule my delivery date because it keeps getting pushed out. Overall, I would not order from Ashley’s again.

I will never purchase anything at Ashley’s. I was promised my things would be delivered a certain date and it was moved many many times. They kept making promises that were not fulfilled. When they delivered a month later It was the wrong order, not what we had purchased. I have been reaching out to them, so they can bring me my correct order and have not yet heard from them. Many hours spent reaching out to them with no solution. Very dissatisfied.

But I informed him I need to go home and think about the style of the TV Media Center he was trying to sell us. I really need to make sure it's something i am going to be happy with. My husband and I finally made a decision on what we wanted. When we return about 6 day later a sales woman in this store. I don't remember her name but she was rude and not very helpful. I informed her we had already been working with a gentleman there but at that moment we could not remember his name. She didn't even try to help us figure it out. I let her know we came in to look for a certain TV media center. We had found it online on the Ashley's website and were able to figure out the actual price after taxes, shipping and everything. But instead of ordering it we wanted to see if it was available in store. So instore this woman offers to help us but then takes a very long time to come back to help us. Then she takes our information and I explain what it is we want. In the meantime of waiting forever I see the gentleman we worked with before and go talk to him. He remembers us and wants to help. I let her know that this is the guy we were wanting to do business with. But she wont let him take back over and help us. I figure out his name is Husan She comes back stating that this TV Center is going to cost $200 more than what it was online. So I explain to her we don't feel we need warranty for this piece or special set up. Just the product and it be delivered to our door. Just like online. So she brings the price down another $100. So ordering it online the exact same way is still $100 cheaper?? I explain this to her and she says sorry that's all I can do. Look with as expensive as stuff is these days $100 is $100. And most people will save that if they can. So we said you can't help us at all then she said nope. We said well thank you we will order it online. And we were paying CASH when we talked to her. She let us walk out the door over $100. Her and Husan lost out on a sale. But it's y'alls loss. Cause my husband and I talked about it. We decided to go to talk to the people at Bob Mills Furniture. Well they had a TV media center similar to the one at Ashley's. So we went with them. Actually the salesman Daniel Talamentez was so good, helpful, gave us the attention we needed and was willing to makesure we got the best price possible we ended up buying a whole new bed from them as well at the same time spent $13,000. When your sales people are good and offer good customer service it can go a long long way. It was your loss ASHLEY'S FURNITURE STORE of Midland!

I called Ashley because I bought a four-year purple warranty and after a month of multiple calls her response was that they did not cover those damages.. please think carefully before coming here. Believe me, this was a horror movie with a very sad ending for me, 3000 dollars wasted in the trash...

I wanted to buy a couch for my son. I live in California so trust is a huge issue since I can’t meet or see the people I’m dealing with. Megan helped me through all the options and ultimately a purchase. Great job.

The place is in rough shape, roof leaks and just a bit messy. Sad to see how brick and martor stores have declined over the years. The workers were really nice and didn't follow you all over the store like some places. I hope they stay around...

I had bought a bed and night stand. I was told that my delivery was setup.for December 7, 2023 between 8-12. I waited and they never showed up. No one called or communicated in any way. I went to the store and spoke to the gentleman who took my order and told me my delivery date. He stated they were waiting on the headboard. I asked why didn't anyone contact me. Instead I took the day of and wasted a day. While speaking to the sales manager he motioned for the store manager to come over and she made a hand gesture that she didn't wanted to deal with it. I will NEVER buy another item from Ashley's again. What is really sad, is the bad reviews get very few replies from owner. Sounds like the whole organization is a bad apple!!!

Experience in store was great however delivery was/is scheduled for December 2nd. I have not received an email phone call or an email other than asking a review.

Ashley’s furniture is unorganized and needs to work on communication amongst their employees as well as better communication with their customers! The two starts are for quality of products and delivery services. If I were reviewing the store and their call center I would give them one star! Although, we are mostly happy with the furniture we got, if we would have known how much irritation we would be signing up for, we would have drove five hours to Dallas and picked up furniture! I wouldn’t recommend Ashley’s furniture to anyone. It’s not worth dealing with the constant unhelpful phone calls and the headaches of trying to get everything delivered when they say they’re going to deliver it. It doesn’t do anyone any good to schedule a product to be delivered when that product is “not at the warehouse”!

If I didn’t need this part for my daughter’s bed I would not do buisness with this company. My experience with the midland store has been terrible. The lady that was helping me gave me the number to deal with corporate and when I asked them for help, they told me oh what you want is super easy… that the associate helping me should have been able to do it. Super disappointed. And I never got any information on tracking so we will see how long it takes to get here.

Good Waiting to see final product

Myself and my wife's have been shopping for a new sectional for weeks and Ashley Furniture was one of our last stops. When walking in on the early Black Friady sales, the assistant sales manager approached use telling use there are all these great giveaways and deals happening. We walked around and found a sectional we both agreed on (this hadn;t been the case till now), we brought the sales person over and explained the layout we wanted which was a mirror imagine of a layout presented on the back of the sectional ad on a stand. After the paperwork was drawn up and we were going over the agreement there were obvious mistakes in the layout that we requested. The sales person got the layout wrong so i questioned him, at this point this is where it all went south. This sales person argued that he was right and the sectional layoput was what i requested (i even walked him over to the diagram again). Me and my wife left with confusion but gave him the benefit of the doubt after paying. Once getting in the vehicle we did a quick double check and realized this was what we thought. So we re-entered the store and once the sale person saw us i told him "see you got it wrong and I asked about this multiple times" he started to argue that he was right and i was worng (now when your wrong swallow your pride and admit it to make it right for the customer) till one of this assitant sales managers employees had to ask him to leave and corrected the issue. That was the meat of the bad experience,, Now on entry the sale rep told us there was a free cooler that you got today when you spent over $2000. In all the confusion we didn;t recive this. So we called in to get our cooler, at this time the sales manager told us that it didn't apply to our sale. I will tell you that i will personally shop anywhere else but at Ashley Furniture moving forward. The assitant sales manager Micheal Galindo was a liar, acting like a used car salesman, and argued with me publically in the store. I knew i should have walked away when he started sweating profusely when i questioned hinm about the layout of the sectional. You can take your risk shopping here or go right across the street to Rooms to Go where we got exceptional service.

Sales person sold me the wrong product for my new bed and the company has no return policy money wasted ....the worse customer service and policy I have ever seen in my entire life . To all customers save yourself this is not a safe place to spend money and there is no chance of getting customer service or assistance to fix any problem or situation so shop here if you have money to give away.

Bill and I were looking for a discontinued item from North Shores. We stopped in at the Midland Ashley‘s furniture that’s where we met Megan. She asked if there was anything she could help us with and we told her about the discontinued item. She said give me a minute and I will be right back she took a few minutes to search the Warehouses to see if She could find one wasn’t any available just our luck… it wasn’t . We also told her we were looking for mattresses so she introduced us to their mattress gallery. where she was very good and very knowledgeable about all the mattresses she gave us a demonstration and listen to what our needs were. needless to say we left the store as proud owners of a North Shore bench and Stearns and Foster mattresses. Megan is 100% customer service person Ashley should be privileged to call her their associate she has the prettiest smiles. We even got on the conversation about the wildlife the moose bears and eagles. when we left we felt like we had made a new friend
