We were told we would have our furniture within a couple of days. So we decided to go with Ashley. Then we found out it would be over a week for delivery. Since delivery would be just a couple of days we decided on Ashley. Only to find out we were misled. I have no opinion on the furniture yet. Hopefully it won't be like customer.

Shoshanna was extremely helpful taking the time to show me multiple items, explain where to best get furniture that is no longer a common style, and helping me pick out something I hadn't planned on getting after my first choices were unavailable. Overall the experience was extremely positive. Unfortunately the pick-up experience was the polar opposite of store experience. Fortunately the distribution center has its own map entry where I'll communicate that.

We shopped several furniture stores, one of them was Ashley furniture. Megan was our sales person. We found exactly what we were looking for. Megan came up with a price we were happy with. It was very good experience.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL lady that works here. Just came to look at couches that I thought were at this location and because they weren’t I didn’t want to make a purchase until I could see them myself. As we were leaving one of the female workers says “thanks for wasting time”. We were just trying to get information, which is their job. And after going back and forth with the sales girl trying to say we weren’t purchasing at that moment I would think it was clear we didn’t want to buy, but I guess just asking for help and info is a waste of time. We definitely won’t be returning to make a purchase from them.

Real professionals no issues

Overall good experience but the “Manager” was WAY too aggressive and pushy. But after we dodged him post being accused of being rude (just trying to do our thing), we had a great time with the young lady that helped us on a piece of wall art that we purchased. She wasn’t pushy and we are really happy with her service and the product! Cheers!

The price was a good price of 799+ tax. I like that I’m getting a decent mattress that was important to me.

Extremely Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Ashley Furniture has been an absolute nightmare, and it’s baffling how a company of this size can operate with such poor communication, lack of accountability, and disorganized systems. We were originally promised pickup dates between November 27th and December 3rd. It’s now December 29th, and we’ve only received 2 pieces of our order. When we reached out for answers, we were essentially told our items weren’t properly allocated or held for us, and we’d have to come pick them up and hope they’re still there. Meanwhile, the rest of our order isn’t expected to be available until January 13th. After a long, frustrating text exchange with support (who conveniently couldn’t provide a phone number for direct assistance), we were told we had 24 hours to pick up our items. So, we made the trip to the warehouse only to find the office locked and a sign directing us to a side door with a table, some papers, and a phone number. We called the number—straight to voicemail. We weren’t alone; there were 9 other frustrated customers, some of whom had been waiting for over 3 hours. We were told multiple employees had called out, but frankly, that’s not the customer’s problem. It’s management’s responsibility to ensure operations run smoothly, regardless of staffing issues. I wouldn’t blame the employees for being frustrated either—imagine having to deal with the constant backlash from customers experiencing the same failures over and over again. To make matters worse, this isn’t an isolated incident. My sister had a nearly identical experience over two years ago, and somehow, things have only gotten worse since then. Clearly, no improvements have been made, and customer satisfaction isn’t a priority. Save yourself the stress, frustration

Very helpful and great pricing

Purchase an item at the store, I was assured it would be delivered before Christmas by the sales associate. Then, I was advised the earliest I could receive it was on 12/27/24 because trucks were full. I advised them I was disappointed and would pick up instead, representative did not seem to care. I informed I would pick up 12/20/24 after work I was in a line attempted to talk to a worker at the warehouse and at first contact he “Guy” yelled at me with no courtesy at all that they are now closed the person before me was the last. I called store to tell them about my experience with the warehouse and was treated rudely again by Shashona. Next day waited in line for 3 hours was treated rudely again by warehouse worker again. An Extremely bad experience , poor customer service and unless I am desperate I nor any of my family will shop at Ashley Furniture again.

I was attempting to order furniture from another state to Texas and my local state would not help me so I reached out to Kylle Ruta and he was amazing. He took the time to help me with all the different items I needed and he even priced match the best he could. So if you’re looking for new furniture for your house please check out Kylle because he will take the time to work with you and please you and get you what you wanted.

This has been the worst furniture buying experience I have ever had. The sales rep miskeyed cost for delivery and accidentally charged me twice. Then had to create a credit to only give me partial credit back for the double delivery fee. Then said I could get my furniture the following Saturday. My bed frame, dresser/mirror, drawer chest, matress+adjustable base came in 3 different drop offs. And I am now I’m my 4th soon to be 5th bc I am still missing a part. No one takes ownership for mistakes that have been made and no one communicates from sales to spare house to delivery drivers. This has been the worst experience from any business in my adult life. I am currently on the phone for the 4th time with customer care who doesn’t seem to want to help me or understand what part I am still missing and told me I would have to take it up with the sales rep because all sales are final. I will never do business with this company again. That’s hard to say because we are all human and make mistakes but this whole experience has me so disappointed. I should have listened to everyone who said don’t do business with Ashley.

Purchased with a small issue that nobody will address? Beware! We purchase a power loveseat and recliner just last month. Everything went well at the sale and scheduling delivery. Then it went very bad. The delivery team claimed to not speak English and just kept saying “against the rules”. They put both pieces together but would not plug them in to test them saying “Against the rules”. Then a corner piece was found to have a small tear. Not a huge deal but it is brand new. I point to the issue and he took a picture and noted on the delivery confirmation the issue and replacement needed (somehow he wrote that in English). However, nobody called me so I called the store only to be told to go to a website. I ask the manager to call twice and over the course of a week, no call at all. I then texted with corporate and they said the delivery confirmation did not include any picture and did not have any not about the damage. Apparently it was erased? Corporate sent me to the warranty site. It is just AI forms. I filed a claim, added pictures and the site denied our claim with absolutely zero reason given. We have damage on a brand new piece of furniture and the store will not correct it and the protection company will not cover it. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this franchised store. Ashley corporate will not support you and the company is not honest from the store to the delivery team to the warranty provider. I am not done fighting but this is crazy.

I’m extremely upset. I went in to find a couch and was told my one worker I wouldn’t get it by December. Which was fine I would have went somewhere else to find some couches. But another worker was like let me see what I could do and said he could get them delivered to use by Black Friday which was amazing. We bought them right then and there. It’s Black Friday and my couches won’t be here till December 5th. They think giving me my delivery fee cost is okay and will make everything better when it doesn’t matter about the money. I don’t like being lied too or wasting my time. Just very unprofessional to just make a sale

2 hours at customer pick up waiting in line to pick up a love seat

I had the BEST experience with Chance at the Ashley store in New Braunfels. I had been to so many stores over the last 2 yrs looking for a power loveseat & recliner to fit our space. Chance listened to me & was very helpful in finding me just what I wanted. I can’t wait to receive it in a week! Yes a week! Not 3 months! I was in a retail store for 30 yrs, I wish I had him on my team. The people make all the difference.

This is my second purchase from Ashley Furniture. The salesperson Bobby was very helpful and let us have some time to look around for ourselves.

My Mom bought $10,000 worth of furniture from this store. Her bed doesn't work/operate as it's supposed to and they will absolutely not fix it. It's new! They blame it on the contractor they use for delivery and assembly but that is their problem! They are taking advantage of older folks and it's an absolute disgrace.

Unfortunately they cannot get my daughters bed parts when promised. 2 weeks turned into 4 weeks, 4 weeks is now 6 weeks and we still dont have a resolution for this. I have bought all my game room, kids rooms etc from Ashley and this is by far my worst experience. I am being forced to call a number and ask for my items that I paid for in store and no financing. I will do what I have to do to protect myself as a consumer. My poor daughter is sleeping on a new mattress on the floor. Very unsatisfied with the way this is being handled. Update: Wasted our time again. Went to pickup the item and wasnt there again. More excuses and no product I was charged for. Will not buy anything else from yall! The owner reply is a joke why dont you actually get involved and give us what we paid for!

Ordered furniture-new employee didn’t put it in correctly so there was no order showing up. Reordered furniture, delivery was set up, only 3 out of 9 pieces show up. Second delivery occurs the next day, and 1 more piece shows up, but another piece was forgotten at the distribution center so delivery crew had to go get it and come back. Tracked mud all the way through my house. Still missing our entire couch, and had given away our couches the night before the 1st delivery. Told it would be another 3 weeks before we would receive that. Contact the escalation team who gives us a discount on another couch and promised delivery for the next Saturday. Called on the Tuesday prior, and there is no order in for the couch. Escalation team will not return emails or phone calls. Store manager can’t help us unless we want to place the order AGAIN, and wait another 3 weeks for delivery. Store employees have zero control over anything, and it’s impossible to reach any members of their guest service’s staff because they won’t return calls. We have ordered items from Ashley before and had decent experiences. Not sure what has changed, but this is not a good place to buy from anymore.

The lady that helped me with my purchase of a new mattress was very knowledgeable about the products and so very kind. In the previous store where I went to check out the mattresses I felt like the salesman made me feel like I was dealing with a used car salesman. So I will will be happy to recommend the Ashley Furniture Store in New Braunfels,Texas to anyone that I know that is looking for furniture.

Megan was wonderful. We gave her a heads up on what we thought we were looking for on the phone and she showed us what we asked and everything that was similar on the showroom floor. We fell in love with something different and decided we needed a new mattress to add to it. Excellent service, no pressure, and easy to communicate. Highly recommend.

The sale part was ok but the pick up of my order was horrible. There was one older gentleman going around gathering orders from the warehouse. He was the only person working on pick up orders. I waited 4 vehicles deep to get to the front of the line. I spent a total of 2 hours, waiting. The salesman at the store said, “just call 30 minutes ahead of the time you go to pick up your order (a single chair) and it will be pulled and waiting for you”. BS. When I tried to call, it went directly to an answering machine. I left my info and asked for a callback to confirm my order was ready. I got nothing and so decided to just go to the warehouse, 2 hours later, and arrived to a waiting line I had to sit in. I WILL never buy from Ashley furniture again. Promise.

Kirsten and Bobby were so helpful. They worked hard to get us the best price possible. It wasn’t stressful not a long process. We’ll definitely go to Ashley again.

Purchased a warranty for my Furniture in 2022. Called warranty department and it was denied. Went to the store and was given all sorts of excuses. Please anyone the warranty is a scam. They never stand by what they tell you. Paid over 400.00 for it. They just took my money. Horrible.

I had to change my review. Megan was an amazing staff member so her 5/5 stars but the blond manager -5. Found the exact table and bundle online for almost a grand cheaper on Ashley’s website. Was told the store would price match and upon return to the store was told they would not price match in store. Then when told that I would just cancel the order the manager become rude and did not provide proof of canceled order. Was told to take a photo of the computer screen without being provided any other documentation. Management told me that I had to wait for cancel the order because the store was busy with yet 4 other staff members were just standing around and only one other customer was in the store around 1830 hours 7/15/24

I’d highly advise against shopping at Ashley. The overall experience I’ve had with them and their store has been so frustrating, I won’t be shopping there anymore in the future. I went in for a bed, and the salesperson pushed a Tempur-Pedic on me so hard. These beds are pricey, but he sold me on how long they’d last. I bought the bed, the base, and protection for the base. Now, when I try to move my bed to put in a frame, the legs on the base snap. Tempur will not help, saying I moved the bed, so that voids warranty. Ashley is so hard to get ahold of, they’ve got long wait times, obnoxious hold music, and when I get ahold of them, I get referred other places with more wait time. All this to be told Ashley will do nothing to help me for moving my bed. I’m so frustrated and wish I’d never walked in that store. Do not buy Tempur, it’s overpriced and definitely not the best sleep I’ve had. Definitely do not shop Ashley, they’ve done me so dirty and don’t seem to care at all. Update: Per the store's response to this review, I attempted to call for further assistance. I asked to speak with someone at the store and was put on an indefinite hold. I let my phone sit on hold for over an hour before I gave up. Seriously people, this store will not help you if there's an issue. If you shop here, best pray everything goes well with the purchase and delivery. They won't help you otherwise.

Had a great experience at you store!!!

I have had the worst experience with this store. I bought my couch back in early April and had a whole conversation with the sales rep that my fiancé and I are moving to the location in mid June. She told me that the couch was in stock and would be available for delivery around the date we moved in. The only reason I purchased the couch was that it was going to be available for us the date we moved in. I go to schedule delivery and they tell me it is no longer in stock and that they are not aware how long I would have to wait until I could receive my couch. I spoke to about 10 different people who all gave me different stories and excuses. Finally, got a delivery date, however I noticed that a whole piece of the couch wasn’t ordered. Had to go back and BUY a whole other piece of the couch, not sure how that happened when it came as a whole set?? Anyway, finally delivery day comes about 3 weeks later and half the couch is broken. I contacted customer service as I was instructed and they cannot give me any information as to when I can get my full couch!! I paid in FULL in April and these people have not given me any type of reimbursement for their mistakes… DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

We enjoyed our shopping at Ashley. As Always Mckenzie was Awesome. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. We really liked the way she explained the differences of the mattresses and how they could meet our needs. You tell her what you are looking for and she takes you right to it. Amazing! No pressure just very friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

Service at the store was great but, they gave us a damage couch at the warehouse.The guy there was extremely rude.Upon exchanging the bad couch for a new one I had a terrible experience.It was the same guy he was extremely rude.I had to wait a hour and a half to get it. We went to Ashley Furniture to look for a new reclining couch. Our experience there was outstanding and we left having bought a new couch. Chance was so helpful and knowledgeable. We went in with an idea of what we were looking for exactly but after his introduction to other options, we were sold on something different. Our purchase was easy and pleasant, our experience was really great. Thank you.

Shocking lack of customer service or even common decency. My wife and I bought a furniture set on clearance. It was the display set. After we had showed interest and were able to get some of the pieces changed, which was very nice of them and not normally done (or so we were told), they informed us that the furniture could not be covered by warranty or delivered. Warranty ok. Delivery, not impossible for us, so ok. Here’s where things got weird. After the purchase, not one employee helped with wrapping the furniture, carrying out the furniture or even holding the door for us while we carried out the furniture. We are in our early 60’s. It’s not like we are in the prime of our lives. We are not talking about old, tired store employees. Or just a couple of employees. We are talking about a dozen employees over 2 different days. Employees in their prime. Men. Not only could we have hurt ourselves moving their furniture out of the way, so we could get ours out. We could have fallen in their store. We could have stolen things we did not purchase. We could have broken something in their store or broken the glass door that we had to figure out how to hold open. I have never been so completely ignored by a business in which I just spent $3K. We went in as previous Ashley clients but left feeling completely unappreciated as customers and will never go back to this store.

I went furniture shopping with my daughter and son inlaw at Ashley Furniture in Texas. Jen was our sales person. She was Fabulous. Jen went above and beyond. We ended up buying a corner sofa, stools, and large dinette set. If we need more we will certainly return and have Jen as our sales person. I recommend Jen at Ashley Furniture in or near Seguin. We haven't received our dinette set yet, I'm sure we will like it just as much as what we have received. Two months later we finally get the dinette set experiencing massive headaches with them getting it delivered. A delivery that was suppose to be free nd wasn't because they lost the delivery address and then the furniture. Too much time passed for the special so we were charged delivery. What a Rollercoaster.

Worst furniture and customer service I've ever encountered! We received furniture that was not what we wanted and they will do nothing for us. Our salesman Mackenzie forged my husbands signature and still they do nothing!! Once they have your money, they are done with you. Buyer beware!!!

I spent $3,500 on living room furniture. Ashley had a company drop it off at my house. There are 3 electric recliners and they did not hook any of them up! They abruptly left, and I STILL have 1 recliner that does NOT have a working electric cord!

DO NOT BUY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY - SCAM!! 5 Years ago I purchased the No Use No Lose warranty from Ashley. Fast forward 5 years in November of 2023, and I was purchasing furniture with Ashley's again and asked about my No Use No Lose warranty and the credit I was expecting. The New Braunfels Sales Agent told me that I would have to issue a request for the credit, which he would do on my behalf. He gave me copies of all the paperwork he was turning in to get me my credit. I specifically asked if my credit could be used towards the purchase that I was completing with him that day, which he told me no it couldn't and that I would have to receive the credit first to then use later. I asked him if there was a time limit on using the credit once received, as I was made aware (that day - never in my original warranty form does it say there is a time limit to request the credit) there was a time limit on requesting the credit once the 5 years hit. He told me no that I could use it whenever. Well, I went to buy a coffee table with Ashley, this March and I again asked about my credit. This was a different sales agent and he told me that my credit request got denied. He showed me the requests and their statuses that read denied. I was stunned and he had let me know that it needed to be used that December anyways. He said that he could put in another request for me for the credit after listening to my story and provided me with the customer service number. I called customer service and magically they couldn't find the original requests for the credit saying that I never requested it, even though I had paperwork saying I did. In addition, I learned that the New Braunfels sales agent didn't know what he was doing. Even if he processed the paperwork correctly, he needed to attach it to a layaway order, which remember, I had asked if the credit could be applied to my current order that I was completing with him that day. Do not buy the additional warranty they try to sell you when purchasing furniture from Ashley, it's a total scam! They don't train their sales associates on how to request the credit for you, credit requests magically disappear in their system, and they do not communicate to you or provide you documentation at the time of sale the hidden time limits of when and how to use your credit. Total scam and waste of money

Ask for better prices

BUYER BEWARE!! If you have an item delivered it could take several months for the item to be fixed if it is broken. Terrible customer service. Bought a sectional with a recliner and unfortunately did not test all of the recliners before the delivery person left and found later in the day that the frame to one of the recliners was delivered bent and was not usable. Called the customer care line and asked for a repair or replacement. I was told it would take a month for it to be fixed. We waited the month and the repairman canceled at 9pm on the day of repair, because it was too late and promised that someone would be out to fix it as early as the next day. Called customer service the next morning and asked for the recliner to be repaired or to have a repairman come out the next day like the guy promised me when he canceled. Was told it would be another month before a repair person could come out again. So we are looking at two months (if they show up this time) for a broken piece of furniture to be repaired that we cannot use. Called to talk to the store and the management would not help get the sectional repaired or replace the item, asked for them to call customer care on my behalf to assist and was told they could not. So I called called customer service myself AGAIN and the supervisor on the phone would not help and refused to provide a name of anyone more senior to talk to. Employees showed no empathy, did not want to make this right or be of any service. Just kept reiterating this is our policy. So Ashley's policy is to sale defective furniture and take as long as they feel to make it right, because they have your money already. Not their problem once you leave the store. Absolutely terrible customer service. We have been a loyal Ashley customers for years, but no more, I am now on a mission to find someone in this company who will listen and want to help.

Bought a large painting, 3 by 6 ft. On Saturday got it home and realized it was 2 different pictures. Tried to return it on Sunday and was informed that once it was out the door there was no returning. Canceled the rest of my order and will never shop Ashley again.

Too much like going to a used car dealership. Walked in the door and sales people were standing around like vultures. Obviously they get paid based on commission. The furniture looked like it was mostly cheap particle board and the prices were listed as monthly payments like rent a center.

Did not have a good experience. I went to the store 9 times before the matter was settled. The manager of the store told me that hq needed to send them a credit, but when l called hq, they said the store needed to send it to them. It was very frustrating. I won't be shopping at Ashleys again.

Sales person sold me a sofa that she believed came in a sleeper. When delivery arrived a sofa I had not ordered was delivered. I refused the sofa believing it was the wrong one but I accepted the chair. I received a text from the salesperson saying that the sofa that I had wanted did NOT come in a sleeper and that I would need to accept the other one or choose something else. Of course no other selection would match the chair which I then found I could not return. I returned to the store the next day. A manager worked with me and indicated that I could take the sofa I did not select but that all I had to do was get the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman for that sofa and it Would make it a sleeper with chaise Which is what I originally wanted. He supposedly arranged everything and a new delivery was set. I received the sofa today minus the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman which I had been led to believe I would also receive. I called customer service and was told I could not get the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman. So I was sold an item that didn’t exist and then I was lied to on top of it all. I’ll never do business with your company again. In the past, I’ve purchased a formal dining set and hutch from you and two leather sofas. But never again.

While the customer service was impeccable that is why I give a 5 star review . The quality of furniture we received is unsatisfactory especially for the price we paid. I still have yet to receive a call back after emailing the pictures and problems we saw after setting up our furniture.

We bought a desk, chair and a battery for our sofa. I recd a call from them saying I can pickup my battery on 8-19 so I did go but they couldn’t find it. One person said you picked it up, no I haven’t. Then my sales person said it shows it’s here but couldn’t find it, went to talk to manager. Salesman said it could be in later today or he would call when it does. Never got a call! Between my husband and I we went by there to see if it came in at least 4-6 times. Last time I went salesman said it isn’t on the sales order but would do paperwork to get a refund. Couldn’t give me a receipt but would send one. I have never received that either. It’s 299.00 + tax. I’m really upset about this and shouldn’t need to be. I feel they have lied to me about the battery and refund but they still have my money. I think I should send a complaint to BBB!

The person that greeted me was polite and helpful but that was it. All I bought was a pillow, don't know why you need so much paperwork to sign just for a pillow. Then I was sent to their warehouse to pick it up and had to wait a long time only to sign another form and they needed a photo to prove I loaded it on my vehicle. It's just a pillow! Nevertheless I will never go back, too much of a hassle for something that should be simple.

Found a nice leather sofa, chair and Dining table, total would have been around 5 grand for both, but decided against it due to outrageous delivery fee of 450.00. I could have understood it if it would have been a long distance delivery, but we reside within 35 minutes from store. Ashley lost us as customers.

One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a retail capacity by far. My wife and I went a few weeks ago to look at dining sets. We got some measurements and got an idea of what we wanted. We were met and greeted by Hanna. He greeted us after a bit and answered all of our questions. Let us borrow a tape measure, told us about options to buy and we left. He was there when we went back again and was very patient when we were choosing. Zero pressure. When he overheard us talking about renting a uhual to cash and carry, he immediately volunteered to use his own personal truck to help us after hours to get our new table home. He met us after his shift, helped load it in his truck, brought it to my house and helped get it in. He totally did not have to do this and I thought it was incredible of him to do. So much appreciation and respect for him in that gesture. Y'all definitely earned customers for as long as we are nearby. Thanks again also to Hanna! I highly recommend this location.

I honestly admire the delivery guys for all their hard work in carrying this heavy furniture in this extreme heat and still remaining professional. While ultimately pleased with transaction and product, it wasn’t w/o much wasted time and grief. After purchase went to distribution center and waited in line for 45 min in 106” temp to obtain product, then got home and found it was wrong color. Wife went back to retailer immediately who corrected order and gave substantial credit for trouble, but then had to go back to distribution center and repeat wait time to get product. However, only one piece of 2 piece order was in stock, so we have to endure the pickup wait one more time next week upon delivery. Whole scenario seems consistent across the board these days no matter who you deal with.

Overall good service, with salesman, provided a better alternative for furniture, Disappointed to see a sale of 25 % off only 3 days after purchase, missed out on an Additional 5%.

I had an amazing assail associate that took his time out of his day and he's a navy veteran and I'm the army veteran and he made sure that I got the best bet I could and worked his butt off to make sure it was appropriate for my bad back.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. They sold me a mattress, told me it was in stock and they'd have it to me in 3 days. Called me the morning of the scheduled delivery to tell me it was not in stock and they'd have it to me in 2 weeks. Called customer support who did nothing and hung up on me. Went to the store and they said they'd reach out to the warehouse and call me back, never reached back out to me. A couple days before the next scheduled delivery date, get another call saying it's getting pushed back another 2 weeks. Customer service says to talk to the store. Nobody knows what's going on. They are apparently just out here selling mattresses they don't have and telling people they have them in stock. The manager even basically told us this happens all the time. Definitely DON'T recommend Ashley.

Nick was very knowledgeable of the Ashley Furniture products and sale events. He was pleasant to work with. He presented other products during the sale, but we never felt pressured to purchase something we didnt want..

From the sales experience to the delivery service, Ashley performed outstanding. They very accommodating to me with delivery changes.

We bought and paid for a bedroom set 3 weeks ago we were also looking at a couch but decided to wait on it. We picked it up the day after purchase, brought it home and it was the wrong one. We called the warranty department because the phone lines to the store were down. A ticket was written and we were told it would be up to 6 working days until we got a response. We waited the 6 days and then called again. The warranty department said there was no ticket and it wasn't their problem. We were patched through to the store where the manager said they wrote a ticket and it would be 3 additional days until we heard anything, he assured us that even though we had picked up the bed ourselves, they would come out to do the exchange. After 3 days, still nothing. I tried calling warranty again, to find out what was happening. The representative hung up on me. So I drove the half hour to the store, there was no manager on duty but I left my name and number and was told I would be called the next day. The next day there was no phone call. After a week of nothing, we called the warranty department again and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor said the system was down, and I could either call back in 3 days or go to the store and ask the store to send in a request. I went to the store yesterday and talked to the manager on duty, who started worked at a computer and then muttered something and walked off. I waited for 10 minutes before finding her sitting at a different computer, I asked her to explain to me what was going on. She said she wrote a ticket and expedited it and I would hopefully hear something by end of business yesterday but no later than 72 hours. She then said that after they got some ticket number that I could go back out to the warehouse and exchange it. I said no, I've been waiting 3 weeks, and this was your mistake. I was told that someone at the store had put the wrong item number on the headboard we chose so when the salesperson entered in the item number it was incorrect. She said, "it was no one here's fault!". I said that it was their store who mis-ticketed the item. Her response was "well she's not working right now, so it's no one here's fault". Then proceeded to ask me if I needed anything else. I said I was going to buy a couch but obviously not from this store. Her response was, "I understand, have a nice day". So it appears that this store obviously does way too much business that they don't need any additional sales nor do anything to have a repeat customer.

We already knew the product we were looking for and found it right away on the showroom floor. The sales person quoted the price posted on the furniture. I stared the furniture had a different price online. He looked up the furniture and confirmed the online price. He wrote up a sales order and explained the process for us to pick up our furniture. Everything went smoothly, even pick up at the warehouse went smoothly. Can’t asked for anything more.

It is impossible to speak to a human being to see if they have a couch in stock before driving to the location. Waste of time and effort. I went to Living Spaces and bought $5,600 worth of furniture instead.

Ordered a month ago. Delivery date has changed 3 times and this latest change I had to find out by calling no one has reached out. Customer service is lacking.

Every salesperson in the store went above and beyond to assist and educate us on our purchases. Their interest seemed totally dedicated to our pleasure with the shopping experience. Although we had another retailer in mind for the item we originally visited the store to view, the attention and professionalism of the salespeople swayed us to make other purchases that day. We plan to visit this location again in the very near future.

Terrible quality couches and the customer service is awful! After you buy your furniture from them. They will not answer your calls anymore! Also, the couches we ordered looked completely different. We told the delivery guys, who drop off the couch, that this looks different and we didn’t like it. They said “a different team will come pick them up. Not us.” Then they left. Called Ashley’s asking for the other “team” to come get them because they were not the right couches. Ashley’s said “well we can’t do anything now. You were supposed to tell the people who dropped it off to take them”. So now we are stuck with paying for couches we do not like. Also! They were 2 weeks late on delivering the couches.

Made shopping so fun and easy. Wonderful and quick experience!!!

Nick worked with me till we found the right couch 🛋 for the right price to be delivered within the correct time frame for my office. We had a delivery issue that was corrected and resolved professionally.

Over priced items...the tempur pedic mattress I wanted was way cheaper in the tempur pedic website and included free delivery and installation....

SAVE YOUR MONEY- THIS STORE IS A SCAM!!!!! They sell you faux protection plans- DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a couch last year from Ashley Home Store, they sold me a protection plan by Protect All for a 5 year covered warranty for things such as accidental rips and tears..The stipulation is you have to file a claim within 30 days of the tear...I had an accidental tear happen in ONE place on my couch, I filed the claim less than 30 minutes after it, and my claim was denied. I reached out to Ashley Home store and their customer service was absolutely foul. They were no help and in short told me its not their problem, they won't refund me, replace the couch, or do anything about this. I had to file a claim with the BBB since they won't refund my protection plan I spent an additional $150 on, nor the couch. Melanie, who seems to be the general manager at the store, also called and left me a snotty toned voicemail stating that they do in fact cover accidental rips and tears, and it can't be more than one tear, and the claim has to be filed within 30 days of it happening- to which all of the above is what happened. Again, ONE tear, I made the claim that day, and followed all the necessary steps but my claim got denied, and all that Melanie told me was they won't be doing anything about it and I can take it up on my own. I will never order from this place again and will be sure to advise everyone I know to not waste their money with this company. Also Melanie needs additional customer service and management training as her voicemail was less than professional, and sounded like she got her management training at Walmart.

New Braunfels Ashley store- Everything was awesome and live my beautiful bedroom set🤗❤️… the price was good in our budget thanks to our salesperson and his supervisor that went that extra mile for us to make things get done for us very happy. The bad things about was the picking up furniture location it was awful because they only open till 6:00pm and it takes hours been on line for picking up your furniture and you park in the side of the road not been safe because you are at the edge of a ditch too not safe at all because is not even and dangerous. Another things the front clerk don’t even answer the phone that is listed on the paperwork. I told her and she said she does and when I called her in front of her she just stare at the phone and didn’t reply ven bother to answer and I told her tiis you see you thi my call when you are not home ven busy and been rude. Two clerks and none of them answer the phone. The waiting system they have going is ridiculous and they only have one deck open and one older man helping to load up your furniture and stuff ven ask for help because he looks tired because they are short handed he said. The other older man that goes to looks for your furniture can barely walk he takes for even and you get to spend too much time waiting for him to bring to the load up area😡…they should consider opening in weekend because people work late. Other then that we were treated great at the store. The manager But

I waited 4 months to receive a chair delivered to the wrong address. Thanks for correcting this mistake. Previously the service I received I would have given 1* and the run around transferring of calls but since they made it right… I’ll give 3*

I have been waiting at the warehouse for pickup for over an hour and the line has barely moved. When I asked about this they said then only have one person loading and they don’t pay overtime . When I asked the store manager to call they did but said they have no control over what happens at the warehouse and they cannot contact a manager about it because there is not one at the warehouse. I’m having a sofa delivered and they are charging me $449 to deliver which is higher than he quoted . My salesperson was Jameel Hammad .

The store experience was good, but we are in line now to pick up. We have been in line over an hour. There are several vehicles in front of us,so it may be another hour before we receive our purchase.

We found the right couch for our living room, service was exceptional and it was a lot of fun for my son to explore and for us to see different types of sofas. All the staff was very professional and friendly. My experience was awesome!

Renee da salesman was good..but when I called for information from da store they did not answer called all day no answer...call next day guy answered da phone was very rude n spoke to manager on phone she was very rude on da phone...they try to say they short handed but when went to purchase they had full staff n then talking bout they short staff on da phone...it was the store in new Braunfels Texas...

Kirt was fabulous to work with. We placed 2 separate orders for a total of 3 pieces of furniture. The first piece / order was the Man Den Sofa In Mahogany that is a gift from a family member. The second order / 2 additional pieces were the Man Den Loveseat and Recliner. The second purchase is to complete the family room / great room seating. We love the color, the sturdiness, and the features of this set. We have more than enough cup holders, charging stations - outlets, the seat recline, have adjustable lumbar support as well as adjustable head tests. These pieces fit beautifully in our brand new home and we are excited to have quality furniture to give us the comfortable seating that we need.

We bought a lot of furniture and it is sub-par (per the repair tech) and was ruined in manufacturing. Called Ashley, salesman (Jimmie C) talked to up and said he would call back - never returned our call - when purchasing - promised he is with us until the furniture breaks down; we laughed knowing that was a stretch! Have not heard from anyone from the local (franchise) Ashleys furniture. We can't get transferred to the manager as "he does not handle these things" -I would give a zero, if I could....

So let me start by saying the customer service in the store was great. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly salesperson. The nightmare started after we picked up our furniture piece from the warehouse. When we got home and unpacked the item we realized it was damaged. I got the customer service number from the store because they don’t handle damages. I reported the damage and they said they would get back to me in 2-3 business days. After waiting a week I called them to check on the status. They said they were waiting for “Me” to call back because they needed a photo even though they never requested one. I sent one in. After another week I called back and they said the photo wasn’t attached properly and they were waiting for “Me” to call back to resend the photo. At this point I was disgusted and asked for a full refund. They said they don’t do refunds once a customer picks up the furniture. We finally got it replaced but have resolved to never buy from them again. Their return/repair process is the opposite of customer friendly.

Kenzie was the first to greet us right away. She asked us what brought us in. She gave us a brief explanation to what we were looking for, then allowed us to look around, without any continued sales talk. She was easy to find again once I had more questions. She answered quickly and effectively. She was able to find us exactly what we were looking for ! And with a really good price! She made the whole process super easy and fast! We were out of there in about an hour with a new bed set purchased! We will do our business with Ashley furniture from now on! As well with Kenzie!

First time buyer and I am highly upset with this company I asked to purchase a queen size mattress was ordered a full size mattress. Once I picked up the mattress and placed it on my bed I noticed it was the wrong size I immediately called the company stated mattress was the wrong size and i needed to either exchange the mattress for the right size or my money back. Company stated all sales were final I will never shop at this company again.

Everything was fine in store and paid cash for a dining set along with a dresser and 2 night stands. Table is great. The dresser seemed a bit small but it fit well in my bedroom. When I went to start putting items in it I realized the capacity of the dresser was much smaller than I ever expected. Bad on me for not checking, of course, but I did anticipate a little more help or flexibility from the store especially since I contacted them the next day. I was willing to do an exchange and maybe even pay an exchange fee. Unfortunately, I called the store and I was sent to customer service. Customer service tells me I need to call the store. I call the store again and I’m told they cannot do anything in store, not even a manager. It’s a bit frustrating when you get all different answers. Even if the manager could do anything, no manager would be available for another 2-3 days, putting me at a week since delivery before I could even get an answer. As a business owner myself, I understand not wanting to put anyone or any business out of money which is why I was willing to do an exchange and even pay extra for any fees the business may have incurred, but what is difficult for me to understand is the lack of flexibility to make a customer happy with their purchase. It’s unfortunate. I’ll be shopping at Living Spaces, Rooms to Go or another store in the future. This has been my second mediocre experience with Ashley and I’m partly writing this review as a reminder to myself that this isn’t a business I’d like to support in the future.

Worst experience ever buying furniture. You would think that If you spend $8000 your order would be delivered when they say. 2 months late and still missing pieces and received wrong pieces. I have a store credit that they won’t let me use or refund me!

Great experience. After visiting other stores, we found the sleigh bed and mattress we were searching for at Ashley. Kirt, our salesman, was knowledgeable and walked us through numerous options. Super pleased.

My husband and I visited our local Ashley showroom with the intent to purchase 2 recliners for our home. Our salesperson, Jameel, met us at the door with a smile and willingness to help. Jameel was engaing and kind. He showed us several different chairs but graciously allowed us to look around the showroom on our own when requested. Once we chose our chairs Jameel guided us through the financing and purchasing process quickly and with ease. Jameel offered helpful tips on the process for picking up our new purchase as well. Overall a pleasant experience from beginning to end!

Alvin was very helpful and did not pressure sale but gave us our space and was attentive and helpful when needed as we made our purchases.

Easy peasy to try out the couches and pick what we liked. Everyone was very helpful and soon we will have our new furniture! We will be back and would recommend this store.

I came to Ashley looking for a new living room set that would arrive within a certain time frame. When the first couch I picked had an estimated delivery of two months, my salesperson (Rene) recommended a set that was in stock and could be delivered within the next 3 days. It wasn’t my first choice but it was a nice set and it met my time constraint. Rene reassured me several times that the set would arrive in time. However, after filling out paper work and paying for the set with my credit card, I was informed the couch wouldn’t be arriving until 10 days later, which was on a day I already had booked. When I asked Rene why the delivery date was different, he responded with sarcasm and an attitude. Since this set would not work for me, I asked for a refund but I would not be refunded the amount on my credit card for another two to three days! I needed the credit to be able to purchase a different set on time so I was very upset that I had to deal with the consequences of Rene’s mistake. This was a very stressful situation that could have easily been avoided.

I had already picked out a couch that I liked at another store but decided to check out Ashley Furniture Warehouse since the other couch had to be ordered on-line. I had thought that Ashley would be too expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find several couches in my price range that were of better quality than the couch I found elsewhere. I fell in love with a double, powered recliner couch in a perfect color and material. The sales person, Alvin Jones, offered a discount and included delivery, protection plan, and zero interest financing, all at a fantastic price. The salesmen were attentive, friendly but not pushy. I am beyond happy with my new couch. Thanks Alvin and Ashley!

Originally I had wrote a review, Angelica from this location is very helpful but unfortunately I was told I could not get a refund for the items below damaged, I am not happy, I even waited for this dresser on back order. I had major surgery and I had to wait to open package, upon opening to assemble it was completely broken, it was placed on same wall not even moved. Poor quality and all. I even got the wrong color bed to my daughters bed, I’m so disappointed as I had paid cash for a couch, dining table (which is falling apart) and entertainment center, I financed this stuff on smart lease I’m still paying for it , I don’t even have a dresser, I’m so upset as I was told I couldn’t get a refund or replacement. Bad business , I will never shop here again. So stressful as ever. Worst experience ever,

I'll start off by saying Ned and Angelica are awesome reps (they get 5 stars) This one star (being generous) is directed toward the company itself. I would definitely AVOID buying through Ashley at all costs. I bought a couch in early August and it arrived completely smashed and with a large hole in it. The delivery drivers told me they'd reorder it (there's nothing I needed to do). Here we are in November and Ashley's main office has done NOTHING to resolve it. Their billing system is also a complete nightmare and I've had to call them 4 times just so that they could take my payment. Seriously been a nightmare and all I wanted was a couch.

I have yet to have my Issue resolved by anyone intelligent enough to think outside the box. Going into the store back in September I was given to different delivery dates after purchase, November 2nd, and November 15th. Fine. I called the store back before the initial delivery date and stated that I would like both pieces of furniture delivered on November 15th instead of splitting the two dates. They stated they would be able to accommodate that. On November 15th, one chair was delivered and no one has been able to offer a solution. No communication was delivered to me about the delay, and this is for a business. Now there is a delay in my business because this store has failed to communicate effectively or be logistical.

I've waited awhile to post this so I didn't let my anger get the best of me. This was our 2nd time buying from Ashley. The same location. Our first time we had 0 issues. It was a great experience. This time? Not even close. We went on October 7th and bought our daughter a brand new bedroom set. We were told everything was good and it would be there on the 18th. So on the 14th we got rid of her current bed and planned to have her sleep in my bed for a few days. However on the 15th we were called back in because the salesman messed up on paperwork and we had to redo everything. So we were understanding and went back in. We were then told we were being given a $200 discount but it wouldn't be in until the 21st between 3 and 6pm. Come 6pm it still wasn't at my house. So I got in contact with a gentleman named Curt at the store and a lady named Angelica. I can honestly say they were doing the absolute best they could to figure it out. However, by 6pm on the 22nd they still couldn't figure out where my dauggters furniture was. At this point my 9 year old was sleeping on an air mattress. So I canceled the order. I went to Rent A Center and got the exact same set including an extra piece delivered NEXT day and getting it for $500 cheaper than I would have paid at Ashley's. Curt and Angelica thank you for trying but we will not buy through Ashley's again because their delivery is through a 3rd party and there is clearly 0 communication.

Went in for a bed frame and got what we needed even with the warehouse closed. They gave us a great deal and spent time looking at other items we were interested in.

One of the worse customer service experiences we have ever had. They were more than willing to sell the furniture but after that you couldn’t get ahold of anyone. One item in our order was discontinued without any communication. Manager and employees refused to return calls. Nearly two months later and yet to receive the refund on the discontinued item.

Don't waste your time or money these people are just eager to get their cut and check out. Upset with this specific store. We purchased furniture over 6 weeks ago in full. I've called multiple times and no one will return my call or provide an update. The couch sectional that was delivered was missing a piece upon delivery. The representative claimed to have processed an order for the piece but there have been no updates on this in over four weeks. This is an extremely unprofessional environment. When I call I get the same run around answer that everyone is busy and each representatives are rude and snarky. 0/10 score. We've now been updated they sold us a discontinued piece- yet haven't refunded us or updated us since the order was placed. We still haven't received the missing piece to the couch we currently have at home. Terrible business ethic, dishonest, and disrespectful staff.

Walked in to just look around. Was greeted by Kurt and asked what we were in the market for. Told him was just looking. He didn't follow us around the store and pressure us like Bob Mills did. We saw something we liked and that was a miracle seeing how picky my girlfriend is. Kurt helped me measure couch. Gave us a amazing price and bam. We have a new couch coming. Definitely will be buying more stuff from Ashley Furniture and will be contacting Kurt in the future.

Do not order from Ashley’s. Spend your money elsewhere. To whomever reads this at Ashley’s, do not tell me to call to further assist because you haven’t done anything. I ordered furniture February 2022. Didn’t receive furniture till July 2022 and when it was delivered, I got 2 right legs instead of one right and one left for the headboard. We are now in September 2022 and still have not received 1 leg. We’ve called Ashley’s customer service, the store it self and went in person and keep getting the run around. Now I’m being told I’m not getting that 1 piece till November 2022. I just have furniture sitting against the wall. I feel like I’m never going to get my furniture put together. What a waste and joke!!

Very nice staff but... nothing was available. Had to order everything I picked out. Have to wait at least a month. When buying furniture I bring a trailer and expect to take it home that day.

Michael Herrera was the best. He helped us with picking the right bed and the furniture to go along with it. He explained how the no interest deal worked and got items delivered quickly. I would definetly use Ashley Furniture and Michael Herrerra again.

Completely satisfied with the service received and Mr Herrera was extremely helpful and friendly who allowed my wife and I to find what we were looking for.

Order for my bedroom set was in December 2021. I knew there would be delays...but to wait till August was ridiculous. Delivery was estimated to March and it just kept getting backed up from there. To top it off, numerous of my pieces were damaged. One drawer on the dresser was broken, one knob was bent, the side piece near the corner looked eaten up and was lifting. My bed had black marks on a couple of areas ( it was a cream colored set). My accent cabinet had the back part broken and the corner piece lifted...AND they stepped on my ac vent and sunk it in and scraped the paint off my desk. Delivery guys were very careless and they asked if we wanted to keep packaging and I said no...they still left a big long packaging box outside of my house. Last time I am buying from Ashley.

Sadly our experience was not a good. I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I just don’t want this happening to anyone else. We ordered several thousand dollars worth of furniture and ultimately had to get a refund. We were building a house and when the house was completed I called to set delivery on a fully paid order. I was told that my entire order would be delivered, but then our closing got pushed back. When I called to reschedule delivery I was told that over half of my order was on back stock and I could only be given an estimated delivery date. I asked where had my furniture had gone as it was all there a few weeks prior? I also asked why had no one informed me because had I not called I would have never known. I was not greeted very kindly by warehouse staff who ultimately told me to call the store. I was given the run around and finally went in to cancel the order. Although, I was told my furniture was probably given to another order and that my delivery date never was followed through with we were offered no compensation. I have order many pieces of furniture over the years (entire bedroom set with adjustable bed and mattress, dining furniture, and my daughters bedroom set) and I was excited about this order because I was so pleased with my previous orders. Sad to say Ashly has lost my business as I sincerely love the style of their furniture. Unfortunate that this store front simply does bad business.

We ordered a sectional sand tv stand on February 27th, was told the sectional would be in in a few weeks, we never got an update so I called after waiting 5 weeks and they told me there was a delay on one piece of the sectional so it would be 3 more weeks tops, I again waited 5 weeks without hearing anything and called when they told me they weren't sure when it would be in. I finally picked it up in early July. The communication was awful. When I did pick up the sectional, there was one piece that had legs that were a different height so they could not be assembled as a functional couch. The Ashley furniture support was wonderful, that's about all I can say that was good about the experience.

We always have such good experiences at Ashley’s furniture, especially the New Braunfels location. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. This time Shoshana help me. She was absolutely wonderful. Took the time to help and explain so much. So friendly and pleasant to talk/work with. She was so awesome and amazing.

Ashley furniture - first as a man I hate furniture shopping, 1# problem is the salesman. They follow you everywhere and will not give you some space. But my wife and I had the best salesman of the year Alvin Jones. The man was very helpful, polite, nice , funny and most of all Alvin gave us time to look it over, talk to ourselves and not hound us at ALL. We were both happy with the quality and not bad prices for what you get. So I really enjoyed shopping there , without a doubt. Sincerely a happy customer!
