Ashley Store | New Braunfels, TX 78130

I’d highly advise against shopping at Ashley. The overall experience I’ve had with them and their store has been so frustrating, I won’t be shopping there anymore in the future. I went in for a bed, and the salesperson pushed a Tempur-Pedic on me so hard. These beds are pricey, but he sold me on how long they’d last. I bought the bed, the base, and protection for the base. Now, when I try to move my bed to put in a frame, the legs on the base snap. Tempur will not help, saying I moved the bed, so that voids warranty. Ashley is so hard to get ahold of, they’ve got long wait times, obnoxious hold music, and when I get ahold of them, I get referred other places with more wait time. All this to be told Ashley will do nothing to help me for moving my bed. I’m so frustrated and wish I’d never walked in that store. Do not buy Tempur, it’s overpriced and definitely not the best sleep I’ve had. Definitely do not shop Ashley, they’ve done me so dirty and don’t seem to care at all. Update: Per the store's response to this review, I attempted to call for further assistance. I asked to speak with someone at the store and was put on an indefinite hold. I let my phone sit on hold for over an hour before I gave up. Seriously people, this store will not help you if there's an issue. If you shop here, best pray everything goes well with the purchase and delivery. They won't help you otherwise.

Had a great experience at you store!!!

I have had the worst experience with this store. I bought my couch back in early April and had a whole conversation with the sales rep that my fiancé and I are moving to the location in mid June. She told me that the couch was in stock and would be available for delivery around the date we moved in. The only reason I purchased the couch was that it was going to be available for us the date we moved in. I go to schedule delivery and they tell me it is no longer in stock and that they are not aware how long I would have to wait until I could receive my couch. I spoke to about 10 different people who all gave me different stories and excuses. Finally, got a delivery date, however I noticed that a whole piece of the couch wasn’t ordered. Had to go back and BUY a whole other piece of the couch, not sure how that happened when it came as a whole set?? Anyway, finally delivery day comes about 3 weeks later and half the couch is broken. I contacted customer service as I was instructed and they cannot give me any information as to when I can get my full couch!! I paid in FULL in April and these people have not given me any type of reimbursement for their mistakes… DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

More than helpful and helped us find the best deals for what we liked. Would be a 5 star but actual quality, delivery and warranty have not been determined yet.

We enjoyed our shopping at Ashley. As Always Mckenzie was Awesome. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. We really liked the way she explained the differences of the mattresses and how they could meet our needs. You tell her what you are looking for and she takes you right to it. Amazing! No pressure just very friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

Service at the store was great but, they gave us a damage couch at the warehouse.The guy there was extremely rude.Upon exchanging the bad couch for a new one I had a terrible experience.It was the same guy he was extremely rude.I had to wait a hour and a half to get it. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back to that store. The reason I put three stars is because the great customer service at the first store I went to..

We went to Ashley Furniture to look for a new reclining couch. Our experience there was outstanding and we left having bought a new couch. Chance was so helpful and knowledgeable. We went in with an idea of what we were looking for exactly but after his introduction to other options, we were sold on something different. Our purchase was easy and pleasant, our experience was really great. Thank you.

Very helpful staff. Bobby was very polite and cheerful during a very long process of trying to get the financing straight. All ended well with us purchasing the first item he showed us!

Shocking lack of customer service or even common decency. My wife and I bought a furniture set on clearance. It was the display set. After we had showed interest and were able to get some of the pieces changed, which was very nice of them and not normally done (or so we were told), they informed us that the furniture could not be covered by warranty or delivered. Warranty ok. Delivery, not impossible for us, so ok. Here’s where things got weird. After the purchase, not one employee helped with wrapping the furniture, carrying out the furniture or even holding the door for us while we carried out the furniture. We are in our early 60’s. It’s not like we are in the prime of our lives. We are not talking about old, tired store employees. Or just a couple of employees. We are talking about a dozen employees over 2 different days. Employees in their prime. Men. Not only could we have hurt ourselves moving their furniture out of the way, so we could get ours out. We could have fallen in their store. We could have stolen things we did not purchase. We could have broken something in their store or broken the glass door that we had to figure out how to hold open. I have never been so completely ignored by a business in which I just spent $3K. We went in as previous Ashley clients but left feeling completely unappreciated as customers and will never go back to this store.

I went furniture shopping with my daughter and son inlaw at Ashley Furniture in Texas. Jen was our sales person. She was Fabulous. Jen went above and beyond. We ended up buying a corner sofa, stools, and large dinette set. If we need more we will certainly return and have Jen as our sales person. I recommend Jen at Ashley Furniture in or near Seguin. We haven't received our dinette set yet, I'm sure we will like it just as much as what we have received.

Zero stars. Absolutely the worst customer service policies. Did not indicate you can’t return product after picking up from warehouse. 48 hours and had not removed from box. This store needs to go out of business.

Worst furniture and customer service I've ever encountered! We received furniture that was not what we wanted and they will do nothing for us. Our salesman Mackenzie forged my husbands signature and still they do nothing!! Once they have your money, they are done with you. Buyer beware!!!

Caveat Emptor with these people. I drove in from out of town to interview with the store manager Mr. Holland at the New Braunfels location. The reason I chose this furniture store was that it basically has a monopoly in New Braunfels and San Marcos, so I felt I may be able to make some actual money here and not have to go back into some kind of legal practice I didn't enjoy. Well, the interview went great, matter of fact, it went as well as any interview I have ever had, I thought I hit it off with Mr. Holland and the assistant manager Han, so much that Mr. Holland told me I made him laugh twice, and he doesn't laugh in interviews, and he was positively surprised when I asked him what he liked to do in his spare time, when he asked if I had any questions. "I have never had anyone ask me that," he stated with a perplexed look. He then realized I was showing him it wasn't about me, it was about the other person or the customer, and he was quite impressed. We exchanged car stories etc. To make a long story short, he hired me, upon the condition that nothing ugly came back on my background check--and I know there is nothing earth-shattering on my report because I've checked it. He stated my background check would be done in a few days and they would let me know when I could start. Well, it's been a month and one week and: MR. HOLLAND COMPLETELY GHOSTED ME, NEVER TOOK ANY OF MY 8 OR 10 CALLS, NO EMAIL CAME TELLING ANYTHING, NO TEXT, NO CALL FROM ZACH THE RECRUITER THAT I SENT 10 OR SO TEXT MESSAGES AND CALLED HIM, I LEFT MESSAGES WITH 3 OR 4 DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES (Nick, etc.) AND THE ASSISTANT MANAGER, AND NEVER EVEN GOT A COURTESTY WE CHANGED OUR MINDS?!! This is the most unprofessional ridiculous pathetic self-centered management (I have an undergraduate management degree and a law degree) I have ever seen. ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS CALL ME OR TEXT, AND LET ME KNOW YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND OR WHATEVER, BUT YOU FLAT OUT GHOSTED ME, WHY IS THE REAL QUESTION?! I've never been enthusiastically hired anywhere where they just ghosted me FOR NO KNOWN REASON WHATSOEVER. I loved all your stories about your hellcat and how much money one employee made last month, but why in the world would you hire me and not get back with me, especially, after such a good interview? I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON OR COMPANY AGAIN, MUCH LESS APPLY TO WORK FOR SOMEONE THAT HAS NO RESPECT FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN THEMSELVES. I spent $3,500 on living room furniture. Ashley had a company drop it off at my house. There are 3 electric recliners and they did not hook any of them up! They abruptly left, and I STILL have 1 recliner that does NOT have a working electric cord!

Ashley's was the best furniture store I've been in a long time. They were very helpful and courteous and they didn't push you into buying just anything. The management was great. Maya was terrific. she was very good at her job. I have physical issues and she took her time with me and my husband. I will tell everyone to shop there. Other then finance they have leasing option. DO NOT BUY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY - SCAM!! 5 Years ago I purchased the No Use No Lose warranty from Ashley. Fast forward 5 years in November of 2023, and I was purchasing furniture with Ashley's again and asked about my No Use No Lose warranty and the credit I was expecting. The New Braunfels Sales Agent told me that I would have to issue a request for the credit, which he would do on my behalf. He gave me copies of all the paperwork he was turning in to get me my credit. I specifically asked if my credit could be used towards the purchase that I was completing with him that day, which he told me no it couldn't and that I would have to receive the credit first to then use later. I asked him if there was a time limit on using the credit once received, as I was made aware (that day - never in my original warranty form does it say there is a time limit to request the credit) there was a time limit on requesting the credit once the 5 years hit. He told me no that I could use it whenever. Well, I went to buy a coffee table with Ashley, this March and I again asked about my credit. This was a different sales agent and he told me that my credit request got denied. He showed me the requests and their statuses that read denied. I was stunned and he had let me know that it needed to be used that December anyways. He said that he could put in another request for me for the credit after listening to my story and provided me with the customer service number. I called customer service and magically they couldn't find the original requests for the credit saying that I never requested it, even though I had paperwork saying I did. In addition, I learned that the New Braunfels sales agent didn't know what he was doing. Even if he processed the paperwork correctly, he needed to attach it to a layaway order, which remember, I had asked if the credit could be applied to my current order that I was completing with him that day. Do not buy the additional warranty they try to sell you when purchasing furniture from Ashley, it's a total scam! They don't train their sales associates on how to request the credit for you, credit requests magically disappear in their system, and they do not communicate to you or provide you documentation at the time of sale the hidden time limits of when and how to use your credit. Total scam and waste of money

Ask for better prices

BUYER BEWARE!! If you have an item delivered it could take several months for the item to be fixed if it is broken. Terrible customer service. Bought a sectional with a recliner and unfortunately did not test all of the recliners before the delivery person left and found later in the day that the frame to one of the recliners was delivered bent and was not usable. Called the customer care line and asked for a repair or replacement. I was told it would take a month for it to be fixed. We waited the month and the repairman canceled at 9pm on the day of repair, because it was too late and promised that someone would be out to fix it as early as the next day. Called customer service the next morning and asked for the recliner to be repaired or to have a repairman come out the next day like the guy promised me when he canceled. Was told it would be another month before a repair person could come out again. So we are looking at two months (if they show up this time) for a broken piece of furniture to be repaired that we cannot use. Called to talk to the store and the management would not help get the sectional repaired or replace the item, asked for them to call customer care on my behalf to assist and was told they could not. So I called called customer service myself AGAIN and the supervisor on the phone would not help and refused to provide a name of anyone more senior to talk to. Employees showed no empathy, did not want to make this right or be of any service. Just kept reiterating this is our policy. So Ashley's policy is to sale defective furniture and take as long as they feel to make it right, because they have your money already. Not their problem once you leave the store. Absolutely terrible customer service. We have been a loyal Ashley customers for years, but no more, I am now on a mission to find someone in this company who will listen and want to help.

Bought a large painting, 3 by 6 ft. On Saturday got it home and realized it was 2 different pictures. Tried to return it on Sunday and was informed that once it was out the door there was no returning. Canceled the rest of my order and will never shop Ashley again.

Great up until delivery. Chairs nuts and bolts were not tightened. My brother in law caught it bolt hanging loose. Ashley tech on duty handed him a baggie of nuts and bolts just in case. This will not deter me from coming back.

Too much like going to a used car dealership. Walked in the door and sales people were standing around like vultures. Obviously they get paid based on commission. The furniture looked like it was mostly cheap particle board and the prices were listed as monthly payments like rent a center.

Our last trip to their New Braunfels store was special as the staff displayed excellent customer service by going out to the parking lot to tell us of a lower discount price on an item we desired. We shopped at 6 different furniture stores and are throughly pleased with the appeal, quality, and price. Love Ashley.

Always have shoped at Ashley furniture for my furniture they have decent prices, and good discounts! And... there's times that the manager gives you an extra discount! Wich is pretty awesome! I love that these pieces are made here in Texas! In our own backyard! Right here in the USA.

Customer service was GREAT, but they failed to inform that I would be putting together the chairs from directions, they DO NOT come assembled. Ask to see if your furniture we be ASSEMBLED, didn’t think this was IKEA!!

Did not have a good experience. I went to the store 9 times before the matter was settled. The manager of the store told me that hq needed to send them a credit, but when l called hq, they said the store needed to send it to them. It was very frustrating. I won't be shopping at Ashleys again.

Sales person sold me a sofa that she believed came in a sleeper. When delivery arrived a sofa I had not ordered was delivered. I refused the sofa believing it was the wrong one but I accepted the chair. I received a text from the salesperson saying that the sofa that I had wanted did NOT come in a sleeper and that I would need to accept the other one or choose something else. Of course no other selection would match the chair which I then found I could not return. I returned to the store the next day. A manager worked with me and indicated that I could take the sofa I did not select but that all I had to do was get the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman for that sofa and it Would make it a sleeper with chaise Which is what I originally wanted. He supposedly arranged everything and a new delivery was set. I received the sofa today minus the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman which I had been led to believe I would also receive. I called customer service and was told I could not get the chaise cushion and supporting ottoman. So I was sold an item that didn’t exist and then I was lied to on top of it all. I’ll never do business with your company again. In the past, I’ve purchased a formal dining set and hutch from you and two leather sofas. But never again.

While the customer service was impeccable that is why I give a 5 star review . The quality of furniture we received is unsatisfactory especially for the price we paid. I still have yet to receive a call back after emailing the pictures and problems we saw after setting up our furniture.

Attended to right away. taken care of throughout my visit.and very helpful when I threw the salesperson a curve.

The furniture was fine. No obvious flaws. It took an hour to pick it up at the warehouse. There was a very bad chemical smell for a while. I received what I paid for.

We bought a desk, chair and a battery for our sofa. I recd a call from them saying I can pickup my battery on 8-19 so I did go but they couldn’t find it. One person said you picked it up, no I haven’t. Then my sales person said it shows it’s here but couldn’t find it, went to talk to manager. Salesman said it could be in later today or he would call when it does. Never got a call! Between my husband and I we went by there to see if it came in at least 4-6 times. Last time I went salesman said it isn’t on the sales order but would do paperwork to get a refund. Couldn’t give me a receipt but would send one. I have never received that either. It’s 299.00 + tax. I’m really upset about this and shouldn’t need to be. I feel they have lied to me about the battery and refund but they still have my money. I think I should send a complaint to BBB!

The person that greeted me was polite and helpful but that was it. All I bought was a pillow, don't know why you need so much paperwork to sign just for a pillow. Then I was sent to their warehouse to pick it up and had to wait a long time only to sign another form and they needed a photo to prove I loaded it on my vehicle. It's just a pillow! Nevertheless I will never go back, too much of a hassle for something that should be simple.

Found a nice leather sofa, chair and Dining table, total would have been around 5 grand for both, but decided against it due to outrageous delivery fee of 450.00. I could have understood it if it would have been a long distance delivery, but we reside within 35 minutes from store. Ashley lost us as customers.

One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a retail capacity by far. My wife and I went a few weeks ago to look at dining sets. We got some measurements and got an idea of what we wanted. We were met and greeted by Hanna. He greeted us after a bit and answered all of our questions. Let us borrow a tape measure, told us about options to buy and we left. He was there when we went back again and was very patient when we were choosing. Zero pressure. When he overheard us talking about renting a uhual to cash and carry, he immediately volunteered to use his own personal truck to help us after hours to get our new table home. He met us after his shift, helped load it in his truck, brought it to my house and helped get it in. He totally did not have to do this and I thought it was incredible of him to do. So much appreciation and respect for him in that gesture. Y'all definitely earned customers for as long as we are nearby. Thanks again also to Hanna! I highly recommend this location.

I honestly admire the delivery guys for all their hard work in carrying this heavy furniture in this extreme heat and still remaining professional. While ultimately pleased with transaction and product, it wasn’t w/o much wasted time and grief. After purchase went to distribution center and waited in line for 45 min in 106” temp to obtain product, then got home and found it was wrong color. Wife went back to retailer immediately who corrected order and gave substantial credit for trouble, but then had to go back to distribution center and repeat wait time to get product. However, only one piece of 2 piece order was in stock, so we have to endure the pickup wait one more time next week upon delivery. Whole scenario seems consistent across the board these days no matter who you deal with.

Overall good service, with salesman, provided a better alternative for furniture, Disappointed to see a sale of 25 % off only 3 days after purchase, missed out on an Additional 5%.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. They sold me a mattress, told me it was in stock and they'd have it to me in 3 days. Called me the morning of the scheduled delivery to tell me it was not in stock and they'd have it to me in 2 weeks. Called customer support who did nothing and hung up on me. Went to the store and they said they'd reach out to the warehouse and call me back, never reached back out to me. A couple days before the next scheduled delivery date, get another call saying it's getting pushed back another 2 weeks. Customer service says to talk to the store. Nobody knows what's going on. They are apparently just out here selling mattresses they don't have and telling people they have them in stock. The manager even basically told us this happens all the time. Definitely DON'T recommend Ashley.

Nick was very knowledgeable of the Ashley Furniture products and sale events. He was pleasant to work with. He presented other products during the sale, but we never felt pressured to purchase something we didnt want..

From the sales experience to the delivery service, Ashley performed outstanding. They very accommodating to me with delivery changes.

We bought and paid for a bedroom set 3 weeks ago we were also looking at a couch but decided to wait on it. We picked it up the day after purchase, brought it home and it was the wrong one. We called the warranty department because the phone lines to the store were down. A ticket was written and we were told it would be up to 6 working days until we got a response. We waited the 6 days and then called again. The warranty department said there was no ticket and it wasn't their problem. We were patched through to the store where the manager said they wrote a ticket and it would be 3 additional days until we heard anything, he assured us that even though we had picked up the bed ourselves, they would come out to do the exchange. After 3 days, still nothing. I tried calling warranty again, to find out what was happening. The representative hung up on me. So I drove the half hour to the store, there was no manager on duty but I left my name and number and was told I would be called the next day. The next day there was no phone call. After a week of nothing, we called the warranty department again and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor said the system was down, and I could either call back in 3 days or go to the store and ask the store to send in a request. I went to the store yesterday and talked to the manager on duty, who started worked at a computer and then muttered something and walked off. I waited for 10 minutes before finding her sitting at a different computer, I asked her to explain to me what was going on. She said she wrote a ticket and expedited it and I would hopefully hear something by end of business yesterday but no later than 72 hours. She then said that after they got some ticket number that I could go back out to the warehouse and exchange it. I said no, I've been waiting 3 weeks, and this was your mistake. I was told that someone at the store had put the wrong item number on the headboard we chose so when the salesperson entered in the item number it was incorrect. She said, "it was no one here's fault!". I said that it was their store who mis-ticketed the item. Her response was "well she's not working right now, so it's no one here's fault". Then proceeded to ask me if I needed anything else. I said I was going to buy a couch but obviously not from this store. Her response was, "I understand, have a nice day". So it appears that this store obviously does way too much business that they don't need any additional sales nor do anything to have a repeat customer.

We already knew the product we were looking for and found it right away on the showroom floor. The sales person quoted the price posted on the furniture. I stared the furniture had a different price online. He looked up the furniture and confirmed the online price. He wrote up a sales order and explained the process for us to pick up our furniture. Everything went smoothly, even pick up at the warehouse went smoothly. Can’t asked for anything more.

It is impossible to speak to a human being to see if they have a couch in stock before driving to the location. Waste of time and effort. I went to Living Spaces and bought $5,600 worth of furniture instead.

Every salesperson in the store went above and beyond to assist and educate us on our purchases. Their interest seemed totally dedicated to our pleasure with the shopping experience. Although we had another retailer in mind for the item we originally visited the store to view, the attention and professionalism of the salespeople swayed us to make other purchases that day. We plan to visit this location again in the very near future.

Terrible quality couches and the customer service is awful! After you buy your furniture from them. They will not answer your calls anymore! Also, the couches we ordered looked completely different. We told the delivery guys, who drop off the couch, that this looks different and we didn’t like it. They said “a different team will come pick them up. Not us.” Then they left. Called Ashley’s asking for the other “team” to come get them because they were not the right couches. Ashley’s said “well we can’t do anything now. You were supposed to tell the people who dropped it off to take them”. So now we are stuck with paying for couches we do not like. Also! They were 2 weeks late on delivering the couches.

Made shopping so fun and easy. Wonderful and quick experience!!!

Nick worked with me till we found the right couch 🛋 for the right price to be delivered within the correct time frame for my office. We had a delivery issue that was corrected and resolved professionally.

Over priced items...the tempur pedic mattress I wanted was way cheaper in the tempur pedic website and included free delivery and installation....

SAVE YOUR MONEY- THIS STORE IS A SCAM!!!!! They sell you faux protection plans- DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a couch last year from Ashley Home Store, they sold me a protection plan by Protect All for a 5 year covered warranty for things such as accidental rips and tears..The stipulation is you have to file a claim within 30 days of the tear...I had an accidental tear happen in ONE place on my couch, I filed the claim less than 30 minutes after it, and my claim was denied. I reached out to Ashley Home store and their customer service was absolutely foul. They were no help and in short told me its not their problem, they won't refund me, replace the couch, or do anything about this. I had to file a claim with the BBB since they won't refund my protection plan I spent an additional $150 on, nor the couch. Melanie, who seems to be the general manager at the store, also called and left me a snotty toned voicemail stating that they do in fact cover accidental rips and tears, and it can't be more than one tear, and the claim has to be filed within 30 days of it happening- to which all of the above is what happened. Again, ONE tear, I made the claim that day, and followed all the necessary steps but my claim got denied, and all that Melanie told me was they won't be doing anything about it and I can take it up on my own. I will never order from this place again and will be sure to advise everyone I know to not waste their money with this company. Also Melanie needs additional customer service and management training as her voicemail was less than professional, and sounded like she got her management training at Walmart.

New Braunfels Ashley store- Everything was awesome and live my beautiful bedroom set🤗❤️… the price was good in our budget thanks to our salesperson and his supervisor that went that extra mile for us to make things get done for us very happy. The bad things about was the picking up furniture location it was awful because they only open till 6:00pm and it takes hours been on line for picking up your furniture and you park in the side of the road not been safe because you are at the edge of a ditch too not safe at all because is not even and dangerous. Another things the front clerk don’t even answer the phone that is listed on the paperwork. I told her and she said she does and when I called her in front of her she just stare at the phone and didn’t reply ven bother to answer and I told her tiis you see you thi my call when you are not home ven busy and been rude. Two clerks and none of them answer the phone. The waiting system they have going is ridiculous and they only have one deck open and one older man helping to load up your furniture and stuff ven ask for help because he looks tired because they are short handed he said. The other older man that goes to looks for your furniture can barely walk he takes for even and you get to spend too much time waiting for him to bring to the load up area😡…they should consider opening in weekend because people work late. Other then that we were treated great at the store. The manager But

I have been waiting at the warehouse for pickup for over an hour and the line has barely moved. When I asked about this they said then only have one person loading and they don’t pay overtime . When I asked the store manager to call they did but said they have no control over what happens at the warehouse and they cannot contact a manager about it because there is not one at the warehouse. I’m having a sofa delivered and they are charging me $449 to deliver which is higher than he quoted . My salesperson was Jameel Hammad .

The store experience was good, but we are in line now to pick up. We have been in line over an hour. There are several vehicles in front of us,so it may be another hour before we receive our purchase.

We found the right couch for our living room, service was exceptional and it was a lot of fun for my son to explore and for us to see different types of sofas. All the staff was very professional and friendly. My experience was awesome!

Renee da salesman was good..but when I called for information from da store they did not answer called all day no answer...call next day guy answered da phone was very rude n spoke to manager on phone she was very rude on da phone...they try to say they short handed but when went to purchase they had full staff n then talking bout they short staff on da phone...it was the store in new Braunfels Texas...

Kirt was fabulous to work with. We placed 2 separate orders for a total of 3 pieces of furniture. The first piece / order was the Man Den Sofa In Mahogany that is a gift from a family member. The second order / 2 additional pieces were the Man Den Loveseat and Recliner. The second purchase is to complete the family room / great room seating. We love the color, the sturdiness, and the features of this set. We have more than enough cup holders, charging stations - outlets, the seat recline, have adjustable lumbar support as well as adjustable head tests. These pieces fit beautifully in our brand new home and we are excited to have quality furniture to give us the comfortable seating that we need.

We bought a lot of furniture and it is sub-par (per the repair tech) and was ruined in manufacturing. Called Ashley, salesman (Jimmie C) talked to up and said he would call back - never returned our call - when purchasing - promised he is with us until the furniture breaks down; we laughed knowing that was a stretch! Have not heard from anyone from the local (franchise) Ashleys furniture. We can't get transferred to the manager as "he does not handle these things" -I would give a zero, if I could....

So let me start by saying the customer service in the store was great. We had a very knowledgeable and friendly salesperson. The nightmare started after we picked up our furniture piece from the warehouse. When we got home and unpacked the item we realized it was damaged. I got the customer service number from the store because they don’t handle damages. I reported the damage and they said they would get back to me in 2-3 business days. After waiting a week I called them to check on the status. They said they were waiting for “Me” to call back because they needed a photo even though they never requested one. I sent one in. After another week I called back and they said the photo wasn’t attached properly and they were waiting for “Me” to call back to resend the photo. At this point I was disgusted and asked for a full refund. They said they don’t do refunds once a customer picks up the furniture. We finally got it replaced but have resolved to never buy from them again. Their return/repair process is the opposite of customer friendly.

Kenzie was the first to greet us right away. She asked us what brought us in. She gave us a brief explanation to what we were looking for, then allowed us to look around, without any continued sales talk. She was easy to find again once I had more questions. She answered quickly and effectively. She was able to find us exactly what we were looking for ! And with a really good price! She made the whole process super easy and fast! We were out of there in about an hour with a new bed set purchased! We will do our business with Ashley furniture from now on! As well with Kenzie!

First time buyer and I am highly upset with this company I asked to purchase a queen size mattress was ordered a full size mattress. Once I picked up the mattress and placed it on my bed I noticed it was the wrong size I immediately called the company stated mattress was the wrong size and i needed to either exchange the mattress for the right size or my money back. Company stated all sales were final I will never shop at this company again.

Everything was fine in store and paid cash for a dining set along with a dresser and 2 night stands. Table is great. The dresser seemed a bit small but it fit well in my bedroom. When I went to start putting items in it I realized the capacity of the dresser was much smaller than I ever expected. Bad on me for not checking, of course, but I did anticipate a little more help or flexibility from the store especially since I contacted them the next day. I was willing to do an exchange and maybe even pay an exchange fee. Unfortunately, I called the store and I was sent to customer service. Customer service tells me I need to call the store. I call the store again and I’m told they cannot do anything in store, not even a manager. It’s a bit frustrating when you get all different answers. Even if the manager could do anything, no manager would be available for another 2-3 days, putting me at a week since delivery before I could even get an answer. As a business owner myself, I understand not wanting to put anyone or any business out of money which is why I was willing to do an exchange and even pay extra for any fees the business may have incurred, but what is difficult for me to understand is the lack of flexibility to make a customer happy with their purchase. It’s unfortunate. I’ll be shopping at Living Spaces, Rooms to Go or another store in the future. This has been my second mediocre experience with Ashley and I’m partly writing this review as a reminder to myself that this isn’t a business I’d like to support in the future.

Worst experience ever buying furniture. You would think that If you spend $8000 your order would be delivered when they say. 2 months late and still missing pieces and received wrong pieces. I have a store credit that they won’t let me use or refund me!

Great experience. After visiting other stores, we found the sleigh bed and mattress we were searching for at Ashley. Kirt, our salesman, was knowledgeable and walked us through numerous options. Super pleased.

My husband and I visited our local Ashley showroom with the intent to purchase 2 recliners for our home. Our salesperson, Jameel, met us at the door with a smile and willingness to help. Jameel was engaing and kind. He showed us several different chairs but graciously allowed us to look around the showroom on our own when requested. Once we chose our chairs Jameel guided us through the financing and purchasing process quickly and with ease. Jameel offered helpful tips on the process for picking up our new purchase as well. Overall a pleasant experience from beginning to end!

Alvin was very helpful and did not pressure sale but gave us our space and was attentive and helpful when needed as we made our purchases.

I came to Ashley looking for a new living room set that would arrive within a certain time frame. When the first couch I picked had an estimated delivery of two months, my salesperson (Rene) recommended a set that was in stock and could be delivered within the next 3 days. It wasn’t my first choice but it was a nice set and it met my time constraint. Rene reassured me several times that the set would arrive in time. However, after filling out paper work and paying for the set with my credit card, I was informed the couch wouldn’t be arriving until 10 days later, which was on a day I already had booked. When I asked Rene why the delivery date was different, he responded with sarcasm and an attitude. Since this set would not work for me, I asked for a refund but I would not be refunded the amount on my credit card for another two to three days! I needed the credit to be able to purchase a different set on time so I was very upset that I had to deal with the consequences of Rene’s mistake. This was a very stressful situation that could have easily been avoided.

I had already picked out a couch that I liked at another store but decided to check out Ashley Furniture Warehouse since the other couch had to be ordered on-line. I had thought that Ashley would be too expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find several couches in my price range that were of better quality than the couch I found elsewhere. I fell in love with a double, powered recliner couch in a perfect color and material. The sales person, Alvin Jones, offered a discount and included delivery, protection plan, and zero interest financing, all at a fantastic price. The salesmen were attentive, friendly but not pushy. I am beyond happy with my new couch. Thanks Alvin and Ashley!

Originally I had wrote a review, Angelica from this location is very helpful but unfortunately I was told I could not get a refund for the items below damaged, I am not happy, I even waited for this dresser on back order. I had major surgery and I had to wait to open package, upon opening to assemble it was completely broken, it was placed on same wall not even moved. Poor quality and all. I even got the wrong color bed to my daughters bed, I’m so disappointed as I had paid cash for a couch, dining table (which is falling apart) and entertainment center, I financed this stuff on smart lease I’m still paying for it , I don’t even have a dresser, I’m so upset as I was told I couldn’t get a refund or replacement. Bad business , I will never shop here again. So stressful as ever. Worst experience ever,

I'll start off by saying Ned and Angelica are awesome reps (they get 5 stars) This one star (being generous) is directed toward the company itself. I would definitely AVOID buying through Ashley at all costs. I bought a couch in early August and it arrived completely smashed and with a large hole in it. The delivery drivers told me they'd reorder it (there's nothing I needed to do). Here we are in November and Ashley's main office has done NOTHING to resolve it. Their billing system is also a complete nightmare and I've had to call them 4 times just so that they could take my payment. Seriously been a nightmare and all I wanted was a couch.

I have yet to have my Issue resolved by anyone intelligent enough to think outside the box. Going into the store back in September I was given to different delivery dates after purchase, November 2nd, and November 15th. Fine. I called the store back before the initial delivery date and stated that I would like both pieces of furniture delivered on November 15th instead of splitting the two dates. They stated they would be able to accommodate that. On November 15th, one chair was delivered and no one has been able to offer a solution. No communication was delivered to me about the delay, and this is for a business. Now there is a delay in my business because this store has failed to communicate effectively or be logistical.

I've waited awhile to post this so I didn't let my anger get the best of me. This was our 2nd time buying from Ashley. The same location. Our first time we had 0 issues. It was a great experience. This time? Not even close. We went on October 7th and bought our daughter a brand new bedroom set. We were told everything was good and it would be there on the 18th. So on the 14th we got rid of her current bed and planned to have her sleep in my bed for a few days. However on the 15th we were called back in because the salesman messed up on paperwork and we had to redo everything. So we were understanding and went back in. We were then told we were being given a $200 discount but it wouldn't be in until the 21st between 3 and 6pm. Come 6pm it still wasn't at my house. So I got in contact with a gentleman named Curt at the store and a lady named Angelica. I can honestly say they were doing the absolute best they could to figure it out. However, by 6pm on the 22nd they still couldn't figure out where my dauggters furniture was. At this point my 9 year old was sleeping on an air mattress. So I canceled the order. I went to Rent A Center and got the exact same set including an extra piece delivered NEXT day and getting it for $500 cheaper than I would have paid at Ashley's. Curt and Angelica thank you for trying but we will not buy through Ashley's again because their delivery is through a 3rd party and there is clearly 0 communication.

One of the worse customer service experiences we have ever had. They were more than willing to sell the furniture but after that you couldn’t get ahold of anyone. One item in our order was discontinued without any communication. Manager and employees refused to return calls. Nearly two months later and yet to receive the refund on the discontinued item.

Don't waste your time or money these people are just eager to get their cut and check out. Upset with this specific store. We purchased furniture over 6 weeks ago in full. I've called multiple times and no one will return my call or provide an update. The couch sectional that was delivered was missing a piece upon delivery. The representative claimed to have processed an order for the piece but there have been no updates on this in over four weeks. This is an extremely unprofessional environment. When I call I get the same run around answer that everyone is busy and each representatives are rude and snarky. 0/10 score. We've now been updated they sold us a discontinued piece- yet haven't refunded us or updated us since the order was placed. We still haven't received the missing piece to the couch we currently have at home. Terrible business ethic, dishonest, and disrespectful staff.

Walked in to just look around. Was greeted by Kurt and asked what we were in the market for. Told him was just looking. He didn't follow us around the store and pressure us like Bob Mills did. We saw something we liked and that was a miracle seeing how picky my girlfriend is. Kurt helped me measure couch. Gave us a amazing price and bam. We have a new couch coming. Definitely will be buying more stuff from Ashley Furniture and will be contacting Kurt in the future.

I ordered furniture February 2022. Didn’t receive furniture till July 2022 and when it was delivered, I got 2 right legs instead of one right and one left for the headboard. We are now in September 2022 and still have not received 1 leg. We’ve called Ashley’s customer service, the store it self and went in person and keep getting the run around. Now I’m being told I’m not getting that 1 piece till November 2022. I just have furniture sitting against the wall. I feel like I’m never going to get my furniture put together. What a waste and joke!!

Order for my bedroom set was in December 2021. I knew there would be delays...but to wait till August was ridiculous. Delivery was estimated to March and it just kept getting backed up from there. To top it off, numerous of my pieces were damaged. One drawer on the dresser was broken, one knob was bent, the side piece near the corner looked eaten up and was lifting. My bed had black marks on a couple of areas ( it was a cream colored set). My accent cabinet had the back part broken and the corner piece lifted...AND they stepped on my ac vent and sunk it in and scraped the paint off my desk. Delivery guys were very careless and they asked if we wanted to keep packaging and I said no...they still left a big long packaging box outside of my house. Last time I am buying from Ashley.

Sadly our experience was not a good. I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I just don’t want this happening to anyone else. We ordered several thousand dollars worth of furniture and ultimately had to get a refund. We were building a house and when the house was completed I called to set delivery on a fully paid order. I was told that my entire order would be delivered, but then our closing got pushed back. When I called to reschedule delivery I was told that over half of my order was on back stock and I could only be given an estimated delivery date. I asked where had my furniture had gone as it was all there a few weeks prior? I also asked why had no one informed me because had I not called I would have never known. I was not greeted very kindly by warehouse staff who ultimately told me to call the store. I was given the run around and finally went in to cancel the order. Although, I was told my furniture was probably given to another order and that my delivery date never was followed through with we were offered no compensation. I have order many pieces of furniture over the years (entire bedroom set with adjustable bed and mattress, dining furniture, and my daughters bedroom set) and I was excited about this order because I was so pleased with my previous orders. Sad to say Ashly has lost my business as I sincerely love the style of their furniture. Unfortunate that this store front simply does bad business.

We ordered a sectional sand tv stand on February 27th, was told the sectional would be in in a few weeks, we never got an update so I called after waiting 5 weeks and they told me there was a delay on one piece of the sectional so it would be 3 more weeks tops, I again waited 5 weeks without hearing anything and called when they told me they weren't sure when it would be in. I finally picked it up in early July. The communication was awful. When I did pick up the sectional, there was one piece that had legs that were a different height so they could not be assembled as a functional couch. The Ashley furniture support was wonderful, that's about all I can say that was good about the experience.

We walked in needing something very specific. What we wanted couldn’t get delivered by the time we needed it. Alvin went to work and found comparable options that were in stock and we were able to pick them up today! He was awesome!

I am giving this review a 4.0 for now because my furniture is scheduled for the day after tomorrow and I am unable to assess the "white glove" service until then. I have never bought furniture stateside from anywhere but Ashley's, except one time (that was a nightmare!). This go around, I initially worked with the store director, Bot, to find the quality genuine leather furniture I was looking for. The color I was interested in was not on display, but he showed me another living room set of similar color and demonstrated the features of the set I had my eye on. He was very thorough and effective in his explanations so I was confident in my selection. I finished the rest of my piece selections with Jimmie. He was patient, sincere, and thoroughly researched price comparisons on my table selections. Due to no fault of Ashley's, my furniture delivery dates kept being pushed back (COVID cross-country shipping issues), but Jimmie kept in constant communication with me concerning date changes until all of my furniture was at the warehouse and ready to be delivered. Hopefully shipping issues will be resolved when I'm ready to make my next purchase because I honestly cannot see going anywhere else for furniture.

Unfortunately you have to leave at least one star! If it were up to me this would be a negative star rating! This company is absolutely the worst! They have no customer service. I have been hung up on 4 times when trying to explain the situation. This is the 5th time they have come to our house for a delivery only to find out our products are not loaded and the ones that are loaded are broke. For my trouble John at corporate gave us a credit. Was told it would be credited to our debit card. I got half of it. When I called I was told the other half will come as a check. Still waiting on that check! We paid almost $11,000 on furniture on 2/11/22. We have only received a few of our items! They have collected all this interest on our money for products we are not receiving. I see an attorney in my future! If you need new furniture I suggest or beg you rather DO NOT to spend a penny with this company.

I kind of already had in mind what I was wanting when I went there. I was greeted almost instantly asking if I had anything in mind or if I was just browsing. I told her what I was thinking about, so she showed me about 4 or 5 different styles. When I found the one I wanted, the sales associate was able to do the paperwork up real quick, with a delivery in less than a week.

We purchased an electric recliner from this store. The chair is less than a year old and still covered under the manufacturer warranty. We contacted Ashley HomeStore, the warranty number, the corporate office number and have received the run around from the get-go. We spoke to them end of March- early in April, and they told us they would send us a technician to look at the chair on a date some time in May. TWO MONTHS AFTER THE PHONE CALL AND ROGHT AFTER THE FACTORY WARRANTY IS SET TO EXPIRE. Today, we called and they told us they tried to call to schedule the repair for a date closer. Impossible, since we have not received ANY phone calls that went unanswered (we were anticipating and demanded a phone call). This company has such little faith in their product, they won’t even call you back to fix their product. I’m not expecting a response, I’m expecting results at this point.

Just bought 2 pieces of furniture from Ashley’s in New Braunfels. Go see Mike because he goes above and beyond to take care of the customer. From the moment I walked in until the sale was complete he was on point and very knowledgeable.

I have received the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a bedroom set back in August 2021, I have been waiting (Mostly) patiently, I understand there are shortages and I finally got a delivery confirmation for March 3rd... no delivery. Spent hours on the phone bouncing around because no one could help me. Finally found out that they tried to charge my card (the week prior, even though everything says that I will not be charged until my order is delivered) and instead of calling me to confirm billing info they gave my bed to the next person and didn't even let me know that it wasn't going to be delivered, so my planned day was a complete waste waiting for them to deliver this (so they don't know how to do their jobs and there is a HUGE lack of communication). I spoke with supervisors who said they'd call me back, and assured me that I should have received a call to update payment info, they didn't call me back. I was told that id have to wait another 8+ weeks for the bed... (ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I should have been put on the top of the list) updated the card information (after calling another 12 people trying to figure out who can help me). NO one knows what they're doing, I was transferred back and forth over and over again. Now my estimated arrival is May 17th... and I just checked my bank statement and now its pending TWICE for the order that's been on my account since august... this is OVERDRAFING MY CARD and leaving me no available credit!!! I called customer service and was hung up on by the system after 15mins of waiting "please try your call again later". I would NEVER recommend dealing with Ashley furniture and will never again be purchasing from them (if I ever receive my order, probably not till 2023). After the 10hrs combined (AT LEAST) that I have either been on hold or speaking with someone on the phone or being passed back and forth and given new numbers that just gets me back to the original person who said they couldn't help me... I'm at a loss. 🤬

This store is small but lovely. The entire staff was exceptional. I enjoyed their smiling faces as they assisted my partner and I with our new home needs. Mr. Kirt Allen was our sales associate. He did everything he could to ge us the best deal during Presidents’ Day. He was also patient with us as we needed time to settle on our purchase over night. One night turned into a week lol but Mr. Allen was happy to see us return and just as resourceful as he was our first day in store.

We went to 4 other places before coming to Ashley Furniture to look for a couch and had felt so discouraged before walking in. Carl greeted us immediately, asked what our needs were, pointed us in the right directions and let us do our thing. Every now and then he’d let us know certain facts about the ones we kept going back and forth with until we finally found the one. Carl gave amazing service, didn’t pressure us like most furniture sales people do, and was fantastic to talk to as we went through the purchase process! By far the best, most affordable place to go and we can’t wait to get our new couch!!

Kurt was very helpful while assisting us in finding a new bed frame and mattress. My significant other and I were a little scatter-brained and couldn’t make up our minds, but Kurt was always there to assist in helping us find the sale price and estimated delivery date of each item, which helped us make our choices. I never once felt like a salesman was breathing down my neck or trying to push me to make a purchase. We had arrived just in time for the holiday sale and are very happy with what we got for our money. Overall I had a very pleasant experience at this furniture store.

Went into store to purchased another bed that I had bought once before but went to get another size bigger paid it in full around beginning of December we’re on end of February and still nothing when I talked to Alvin he said it would arrive around first week of January and still nothing!! This is noway to do business with people at least be honest with customers and say it’s gonna take awhile if I’d known this I’d went elsewhere going to get my money back plus been calling and calling no answer!!

I’ve purchased almost all of my furniture from this store exclusively. Even when it used to be the Ashley’s New Braunfels outlet store. I have always been able to get really good deals here and will continue to come back due to the great experience and ability to get what I want when I want it. Even with the market the way it is at the time of this review most of my furniture was in stock and the rest needed 1 month until I was able to pick it up at the distribution center in town.

We bought a sectional 4 years ago and purchased protection for the couch through a party recommended by the salesperson. The company would not do what they were supposed to and come and clean the couch. They made up every excuse possible to avoid any services. We spent $400 on this and when we called Ashley they just didn’t care! Said they had new management and couldn’t uphold the agreement. HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE!!

I am only giving 4 stars for now because I just bought my furniture and have not received delivery service yet. I walked into Ashley furniture and received the help that I needed from browsing to purchase. I went in with a budget and specific concepts that my dining room table must have. Ashely Furniture was able to meet those standards. I also love that they have a warranty program where if you don't use your warranty within the 5 year period you get your warranty back in Ashley Store credit. We plan on purchasing a new home soon. I'm positive that I will go to Ashley Furniture in New Braunfels to furnish my new home.

1) The in store price did match the online price. When I called about a refund/partial refund the store said they would honor the online prices. It's been a month since and when I called to follow up. They said that no one made not of it and I had no proof of the conversation. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We have been waiting on a refund for over a month on something that was their mistake. No one answers the phone and when they do they hang up on us. We go in person to talk to them and they blow us off by sugar coating showing us that we have our money still there. It’s ridiculous. Each time we have gone in person they apologize and say they are sorry, they are busy but yet can’t return a call when we go in they are just standing around talking to each other. It’s not fair they are trying to steal money and always find an excuse why they can’t give it back to us.

I wish to write a formal complaint against my local store in New Braunfels, TX. My wife and I ordered a new "in stock" dining set in April 2021 and we're told it would be an early July delivery. Well, that delivery got pushed back, and pushed back. (To be fair, the managers did help in July by giving us a "loaner table" to hold us over until the new one arrived.) We checked in November and were informed that our order would now be pushed until March 2022. At that point, we sent back the loaner table and requested a cancellation/refund. We have no been waiting for over a month for a refund! That's right, Ashley Furniture delays deliveries and REFUNDS! We asked for a way to escalate the situation, but my local store does not seem to not know how to help. They also informed me that upper management does not want to help. Store manager: Bot District Manager: Juan De La Garza We are just looking for a way to get our money back so my family can have a table for the holidays. I'm disappointed in their lack of effort to help us. -They get a bonus star for the help in July.

Worst experience ever , nothing to sale . All back ordered. Then we did find a mattress ($ 5000.00)) it was promised to be delivered on a certain date but changed it to 11 days later , we just bought a new home needed that bed , so me and my disabled vet husband have to rent a trailer and move our self . No one ever answers phone . We have done business with Ashley’s for over 20 years . Never again !!!!!!!

Went "looking" for a new bedroom suit...found one I liked and "might" buy...but Michael was convincing and honest about buying it now. Got the sale price plus another discount...walked out happy.

They had exactly the chair I wanted at a good price. I had looked long and hard for a recliner that fits me, and they were the only one that had what I was truly comfortable sitting in. The manager and assistant manager were great.

The positive; Our sectional is fantastic! A bit firmer than the one we sat on in the showroom but we’re assuming in time it’ll soften up. The negative; We ordered this particular sectional because it would supposedly be delivered in a few weeks. We had no furniture in our living room minus a few office chairs. Our sectional was received two months late. When we called or dropped in the store for questions we were given no answers. And when I texted Zach there was no reply. Had we known the wait and run-around we were in for, we would’ve looked at other options.

I have been trying to order seat cushions for a week i keep getting fowarded to different departments just to be told they cant help me to call the previous number. All i want is to order replacement cushions why is this so hard??

They delivered our reclining sofa and loves eat. Delivery men spoke Spanish in which I think is unprofessional. Dragged box on my tile floor after unpacking. Then one of the reclining chairs not working. Called and said 48 hours still haven't heard from anyone. Only reason I gave 2 star because salesman and Manger was very professional.

Mike and Chris were super helpful and understand that I wanted a piece of furniture that day. We found something quickly and delivered the same day.

Edit: after my last review someone contacted me very promptly and kindly gave me the delivery that I paid for. I’m sorry to report that the desk was once again delivered, broken. The delivery guys didn’t even take it out of the box it was so bad. Crossing my fingers that delivery attempt #6 will be a winner?! I can really only laugh at this point. If I could give negative stars I would. I ordered a desk back in JULY we’re currently in OCTOBER and I paid for “white glove delivery.” They delivered the desk 4 TIMES, each time it was damaged. At the last attempt in early September I decided to cancel it and wanted a refund. October still no refund. I said look, I NEED a desk. So I went to the store to give them another chance and they wanted me to pay an ADDITIONAL $120 or so for the same desk and the only way I could get it w/o additional charges is to pick it up myself. When I tell you the manager could not give a care in the world about me as a customer, he said those are the rules he just follows them. This entire situation makes absolutely zero sense to me. Also when I asked who the managers manager is they told me he’s the highest it goes at the store and CORPORATE won’t do anything for me. SAVE YOURSELF from this horrible customer service and if you must have their furniture order online, it’s cheaper and I have had much better customer service from them. Good luck

Buyer beware!!! Never again will we buy from Ashley Furniture!!! We purchased a living room set in early August and were told by the salesman it was going to be delivered August 24th. He even wrote it on the paperwork!! When that date came, we never received our furniture. So I called their CS department. I was told by Jacob there was no delivery date listed but he would put in an order to 'expedite' our request. On August 30th I called to get another update. I was told by another CS rep, Blanca that our furniture would be delivered on September 2nd and that we should receive a phone call the day before to confirm delivery. With today being September 1st, we should have received a phone call per the CS rep Blanca. Well, we never received a phone call so I called their CS department again. This time, I spoke to Becky. She tells me there is no delivery date of September 2nd. She also told me both previous CS reps misinformed me. There was no 'expedited request' and there was no Sept 2nd delivery date in their system.. It was all a lie. In fact, she could not give me a delivery date because the furniture needs to get to the warehouse FIRST before a delivery can be scheduled. I feel we were taken advantage of just to make a sale. Never again!! We should have went to Rooms To Go instead. We've never had this problem with them.

I've had the absolute BEST experience with Alvin and Kim at the New Braunfels store. No one wants to feel pressured to buy or stalked while they shop, but these two have made us repeat customers due to their relaxed and honest service. We felt very taken care of as they were glad to offer additional price adjustments to help us get to our budget price point. THANK YOU!!!

Worst experience ever! Purchased a recliner along with the GBS 5 yr extended warranty. 2 years later the arm of chair has a hole. Notified GBS and provided photos, was told I would hear from them in 24 hrs via email and phone call.Heard nothing, 1 week later I called back and was informed they would not cover repair or send a technician as the warranty states would happen if there was a problem. Went to the store and spoke to Kirt Allen who stated he was surprised they wouldn’t even send a technician and he would look into it and again I would hear from them. 1 week later still nothing, went back to speak to Mr. Allen who barely acknowledged my presence, remained seated at his desk and messed around on his laptop for close to 20 minutes while I stood by and waited He finally gave me a print out of the same request I made 2 weeks ago and assured me that someone would contact me in 24 hrs. Again, nothing. Went back several days later and again waited for Mr. Allen who left the room for another 15 minutes only to return with another print out stating that my warranty was expired and they could not force GBS to honor the 5 year warranty. He actually had the nerve to tell me he should’ve told me this when I came in the first time, but went out of his way to see what else could be done. What a waste of time. If you are selling a product in your store then you should stand by it, be it furniture or the extra warranty I paid for. I feel I should receive a refund for the warranty I paid them for, since it’s not worth the paper it’s written on and I can repair the chair myself. I will not recommend this company to anyone and I will take my business elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible experience do not recommend. Ordered sofa set in June online was promised first delivery the first week of July. Then they pushed it back to the third week of July. Then they pushed it to August 3. Then they pushed it to August 10. Not one time did anyone from Ashley’s reach out to let me know that my delivery date has been changed after I had taken off work. Very unprofessional will never order from again went to ahead and canceled my order

The Salesperson Michael and the Manager at the New Braunfels store is the best. I was in the process of buying a beautiful leather sofa that was reduced in price. As Michael was completing the paperwork he found it already had been sold. The Salesperson who sold it to someone else failed to tag the sofa as being sold. Micheal apologized and needless to say I was very disappointed. He spoke to his Manager and he agreed to order me a new leather sofa just like the one that was reduced in price and sold it to me with 25% off. I was so grateful for them making this experience right. This store has excellent customer service and is all about pleasing the customer.

Spent $500 and paid additional for assembly & delivery. Never came. Had to spend my time calling and finding out what happened, talking to multiple ppl, as no one could find my order or had record of my purchase...but they did take my money. Finally got delivery 2 days later than originally scheduled and items were put together in very poor way. I will be taking apart and putting them back together myself. Glad I didn't make the $1200 purchase I almost did. Expected more from this name.

We have been loyal Ashley customers for years. Just about every room in our home has at least one piece of Ashley Furniture. Their customer service and ease of purchasing are what keep us coming back. Can’t beat their prices either!

I needed 2 recliners and had been looking online for weeks. Finally, having no success online, I decided to go into my nearby Ashley store. I had time to walk around the floor by myself, which I prefer, and was then approached by the store manager and asked if I needed help. I told him what I wanted and in less than 10 minutes he was showing me exactly what I was looking for. The paperwork was quick and easy and I was out to my car in under 30 minutes. I've purchased from Ashley before and was always happy with their quality and service, and this time they really outdid themselves.

Shawn was the best! He was really nice and not pushy at all. He helped us narrow down which couch we wanted. He answered all our questions and was very transparent with the products we were looking at. All around, we walked out happier than we went in.

Horrible experience, the sales man lied through out the entire transaction, he told me if I purchased this mattress I would have 30 day trial and I would be able to exchange it, if I didn’t like it. He also mentioned, it was part of the delivery guys job to move my old mattress for me, which they told me, it wasn’t part of the job. So, now I am stuck paying for a mattress, I don’t like. I would not recommend this store to anyone and will never purchase from Ashley furniture again.

I have bought several pieces of furniture from here over the years and every time I have walked into the store I was asked if I needed help. I always say no so my wife and I can browse through the store to see what we like( if anything) without being hounded be a salesperson while discussing with my wife what we like. Every other time I have said no, we're just browsing, we have been left alone to shop. This time there was a salesperson in bedding who wouldn't get the hint. She wouldn't leave me alone and wouldn't take "No " for an answer. I was looking for a new king-size mattress and all she wanted me to see were $8000.00-$11000.00 new beds. Ashley's lost out on my money because of her and her alone. Had she shown me the mattresses I was there to see, I would have bought that day. Now I'm still shopping.

Recently purchased bedroom and living room set. Ironically the bedrooms we bought from Ashley was not much different than what we had purchased from Aaron’s less than a year ago. My biggest disappointment is that the set from Aaron’s is much better quality than Ashley. Didn’t realize at all until we put it together. The fabric is pulling apart on the head board. There is much more breaks and cracks in the wood. Ashley’s furniture is more little pieces of wood put together to make something rather than a large piece like Aaron’s. Which to my just looks cheaper and less quality. Just really disappointed in the quality. Sad to say, I think my next furniture buy will be from Aaron’s or another furniture store.

Ashley HS is one the the worst offenders when it comes to over zealous sales staff. Even after clearly explaining that we were just browsing, we followed around, unable to look at a piece without a run down by the employee. The last straw was the mattress salesperson sales pitch that spoke about kids who have never had a bed before. Didn't last 30 mins in there.

All I can say is wow....... maybe one of the worst customer experiences after the sale. Trying to get them to deliver the furniture your purchased was and is a nightmare. Hard to get ahold of. Spoke to Nora at the store and she obviously did not care about us and we clearly were not important to her. I would steer clear of this place and shop elsewhere.

Ashley has the worst customer service of any company known to man. It took six months to get all the pieces of my sectional (they don’t deliver the whole thing at once), and the end cap recliner was jacked up once they finally got it here. It keeps catching on an exposed bolt. And now, two whole months after I finally got it, the power is out. Given the repeated fights I have had with Ashley just to get my furniture delivered in the first place, I am hesitant to even attempt to call for warranty help. I mean they really are that bad that I am considering keeping a $4000 sectional that doesn’t work, just so I won’t have to talk to them again. They are an awful company with zero redeeming qualities.

Went to Ashley furniture in New Braunfels just to look around. Ended up buying some things. Just want to say the salesperson, Leora, we had was great. She didn’t follow us around like a vulture waiting on its next meal! She was very polite and personable. Great experience after having a not so good one at the Live Oak store. If you are looking for furniture go by the New Braunfels store. Excellent sales team there along with the assistant manager. We will do business with her again.

5 stars to Ashley's home store in New Braunfels. I needed to furnish 4 bungalows with mattresses, furniture, rugs, pictures and accesories. I was introduced by the assistant manager to Penny, a specialist in mattresses who guided me thru the differences and what would work best for me. We than went on to find everything else I needed. To my surprise she was able to get my husband and I enough credit for my full purchase at 0% financing. I even had enough credit after my purchase to purchase a mattress fitted personally to my husband and I. Also, even though most items can be found in store the Ashley's website is very easy to use and I was able to find several items that fit my needs.

Spent thousands of dollars only to be lied to about delivery date and availability. Was told by the delivery people my table wasn't in stock. Called the store and left messages 4 times as well as on facebook, no answer!! Finally a month goes by I find another number and they tell me oh yeah it'll be another month and a half or more😡. Horrible horrible customer service and certainly will never spend another penny with them!

Sales person over promised with the delivery timeliness and hadn't return any of my husband's calls after he told us in store to call with any issues. It's been two weeks past what we were told would be the delivery date, and we still don't know when we'll receive our ffurniture. The lack of communication is what is frustrating.

Went in on February 22nd and purchased a sectional and Dining set. Chris, our salesman was okay and even checked on inventory to tell us everything was available for delivery on March the 1st. Great! We left Ashley Furniture thinking we’d get a text soon to confirm delivery but the text never came. March 1st came and went and we called to see about our delivery. They said Delivery would be March 8th and to wait to receive a text to confirm delivery. March 8th came and sure enough our furniture was being delivered, everything except our dining table. We were left with a sectional, chairs and no table. So we call again. Customer service is helpful and tells us that our table is coming in from another warehouse and it should arrive on Monday and be Delivered Tuesday, March 16th. That’s two weeks from promised day of delivery and we were told everything was available from the beginning. Now Thursday, March 11th and I receive a text saying our table will be arriving on Wednesday, March 17th. Confused about delivery dates, I call customer service again and the woman was very rude and condescending. Telling me no delivery dates are confirmed but then that it’ll be arriving on Wednesday. Which is it? First person tells me Tuesday and she’s telling me Wednesday when I was initially told the 1st of March. I ask her what she suggests and she tells me to wait for a text about my delivery confirmation. So now I have no delivery date confirmed and I’ve been given the run around. I’m hoping it’s delivered next Tuesday as promised but I will not be going back. 0/10 do not recommend giving your business to Ashley Furniture New Braunfels. Also when you try to call their store no one answers. 👎

I went into Ashley’s HomeStore in New Braunfels, TX to look around. I just moved into a new home. The prices and discounts that were being offered I just couldn’t pass them up. My sales person Michael was such a big help showed me the items I was looking for and told me if I had any questions he would be there to answer. I looked at the items and was wondering around the showroom. He came and ask if I had any questions which I did plus additional items I was interested in. I went to look at 2 items and ended up with purchasing 4. Overall it was a great experience and will purchase more furniture at future date. Thank you Michael for all your help.

Did not deliver when promised. Did not show up on delivery dates. Incorrectly assembled furniture. Shipped broken furniture several times. The furniture was poorly constructed. The home store would not return calls on problems, and the corporate number had to be called several times and the promises that were made did not happen and were not followed through upon. Horrible customer service and support. This was the worst furniture company and experience I have ever dealt with. Almost 4 months into the process and have been ignored completly by management amd customer service.

Found what I was looking for

Walked in.....I loved how I could just walk in and not have anyone follow....I was able to look around, feel the products...in my case durability of headboards. When I was ready. I approached the salesman and I showed him what I was interested and even from a competitive company and..no pressures, helped me, processed it and I will be picking up my Bed Panel by Friday. He was very thorough to include pick up Instructions etc.. Thank you again Ashley's!.

Not so friendly environment

This was the worst experiences I have ever had at a furniture store hands down. Not only was my wife lied to but the floor associate, Rene, was not transparent and lacked product and pricing knowledge as well. He became disrespectful with us when we showed him the figures he gave us the night before. His manager was no help either and did tell us that they basically had no deals like they promised the night before. He also trash talked his competitor, Rooms to go, and they had much better deals and the associate at Rooms to go was excellent. needless to say I would never recommend Ashley HomeStore to any one of my friends family member or enemy.

Josh was so nice, very helpfull but did not hover over us, which I think every customer appreciates. Excellent selection of everything you need in your home. We are already talking about a new dining room set from Ashleys. UPDATE: We cancelled our living room furniture after waiting 4 months and then they still wanted us to wait another 2 months and then we were not promised every piece of our sectional. Now we are trying to get a 2900.00 refund and we are getting the run-around. DO NOT BUY UNLESS THEY HAVE INSTOCK. They are selling merchandise that you will never get.

We went in the homestore in New Braunfels looking for a dining room table, chairs, and a coffee table. We were met by Penny and a trainee. They went out of their way showing us what's there. It went perfect. We ordered everything we were looking for. Awesome job Penny and thanks.

I share this review as a buyer beware-We went into Ashley to purchase several new items for our new house around the first weekend in November 2020. We put on layaway a couch, loveseat, full entertainment center with electric fireplace, a table w/4 chairs and a dresser. At the time we advised that we would be in to pay off the layaway the next week. At that point we were happy with the customer service and were excited to receive our new furniture. We went in the next weekend November 15, 2020 to be exact and paid off the layaway in full minus loveseat as we realized it would not fit in the space we had. The pay-off was over $4100 ( I only share that so you know what our "investment" was) and this was after our original $600.00 layaway. At that time we rec'd our tentative dates on when the new furniture would be delivered. We received the couch on the scheduled date with no problems, the communication up until then had been great. This is where it all started to go down hill and where Ashley should be ashamed of how it's business is being run. We were to receive tentatively our entertainment and dresser the 15th of December and our table w/chairs the 30th of December. The 15th of December came and we had not received any information on a delivery date. I called customer service and was told "oh no ma'am you will not be receiving any items today" and a matter of fact those items are now pushed back to the end of December and the middle of January. That night we called and spoke to a nice gentleman at the store who we advised that we just wanted to cancel the remaining items on the order to a tune of around $3300.00 plus/minus and were NOT willing to wait as were needed those items and were never contacted to advise the the dates had changed. He stated that he would take it directly to his manager and have that ordered canceled but to please give them 24-48 hrs and we would be receiving an email from the manager advising that the order was canceled and monies refunded. Thursday rolls around i get a message from my our sales lady wondering how she can help. We called her back and advised that we again just want to cancel the order and get our money back. (left a voice message). There have been 3-4 other calls made to both the store and customer services and our order is still no officially canceled, an email was sent yesterday to cancel but only a manager can do that........I spoke with customer service again today and asked to speak to a manager and the very nice rep is spoke with stated that she would have to email them and they would call me back although I am not holding my breath at this point. I know this is long but I wanted to let you know what you are getting yourself into when dealing not only with the New Braunfels store but with Ashley Furniture in general. I also understand that Covid has put a lot of strains on businesses but all it takes is a phone call, communication and when someone asks for their hard earned money back they should not have to jump through hoops to get it back. It should not take over a week and multiple phone calls to get it back..period end of story.

Bought a living room set last month, salesman was super nice and helpful. Was told i would recieve a phone call in a week with delivery dates. 9 days later i am calling them to find out when i will recieve my purchase. I am given two tentative dates for my delivery, one of them is 4 months out. As of now, no dates are set in stone just yet and i have not heard from them since then. The wait time is understandable due to the pandemic, but i would reccommend getting your furniture elsewhere in the meantime if you dont want an extremely long wait with little communication. Edit- here i am, 3 months later, and still NOTHING

Have been shopping at Ashley for years. Most of our furniture was bought at an Ashley Home Store. This one in New Braunfels was great. Our sales rep, Alvin, was terrific. Showed us all the options we had to purchase our sofa. Then made sure we understood all the features it has. Was quick with a measuring tape, to make sure sofa would fit where we what to put it in our home. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for new furniture.

The Sale Rep did not judge me, I can tell the other Sales Rep didn’t wanted to help me because of my age and appearance. He came up to me and help me immediately, I forgot his name but I’ve been looking for almost 3 month and everyone always have given me a dirty look because I didn’t look like a “buyer”. I immediately told him what I looking for and he told me he was in the business for 9 years and lived in Seguin. I would totally come back and refer him to all my friends. I told him I didn’t want to waste his time and he was truly understanding about the whole situation. Truly loved him. Never judge a book by his cover.

Penny is the BEST!! I first met her at the DeZavala store but her customer services skills are on point!! She never makes you feel like she is trying to force a sale on you. She gives you her honest opinion. I adore her skills so much that now my Mom purchases from only her!! You won’t regret purchasing from her and Ashley Furniture. They are the best!! Update from 5 to 1 star. Christina hasn't worked there since a month after our purchase, we now have zero support. We ordered our furniture 11/21/2020 and told we'd have our furniture by February 2021. It is now the end of April and they keep moving the estimated date out further and further. Every week it's a different date. Very dishonest business and I'll never go back. Christina was excellent. Knowledgeable and honest. Really a great experience all the way around. My wife and I will be back.

Purchased furniture Labor Day weekend...only received the kitchen table and chairs. Have been calling the store for 4 days to inquire about the remaining items that need to be delivered and NO ONE answers the phone. Left a message and callback but that has been to no avail. Really will think twice when we have to make a future purchase of furniture...it won't be Ashley's. Been a longtime customer and the customer service is horrible.

Had to amend my previous review. The initial experience at the store was good, but everything since then has been terrible. We ordered about a month and a half ahead of time and were given a delivery date. The day before the scheduled delivery I called to confirm since I never received the confirmation call or text, and was told it would possibly be another month or two. We chose to cancel our living room furniture items and go to Conn's since we had just moved and needed furniture asap. I clarified three times with two different people exactly which items to cancel and they still cancelled the wrong ones. We keep trying to work with them to fix everything and keep getting the runaround. It's only now that I'm hearing from other past customers that this is typical of Ashley's service. Do not recommend.

Worst experience ever trying to take delivery of our furniture, mabye this 4th reschedule will be the charm. Been waiting for my living room furniture for a month now. 1st attempt- confirmed delivery day for partial items, took off work, no show from ashley, called customer service and was then told 1 item was delayed so they did not load on the truck, was told ashley would call to reschedule. 2nd attempt- we were out of town, got a call to confirm for the next day and we did not confirm since we were not home, delivery driver calls at 8:45pm to delivery (kinda late) told him we didnt confirm that day and we were not home. Ok cool they will reschedule. 3rd attempt - WE had to call ashley and ask forna update. Was told half the couch would be in the 21st and another half the 27th. Ok cool can you deliver couch and chairs all on the 31st? Yes sir i have you down. No call yesterday to confirm, WE called ashley again. Oh sir since it was 7 days out we gave your furniture to another order. We can deliever tuesday the 3rd!! REALLY! Had i known that on the prior call to schedule it FOR the 31st i would have taken half my order then. 4th attempt- nov 3rd- 1 month after the first delievery date, if this date is messed up by ashley again i will return $4500 worth of living room furniture and take my money else where. This will be over a month since ordered. Only the couch an cabinet showed up after ashley said everything would be delivered an i took off work again 5th- attempt 5. Schedule for again another week away for 3 pieces that we were told would be with the rest of the order.

Went in and found the furniture I wanted- Alvin was very helpful and we actually had alot of fun while doing all out paper work- He helped us get what we wanted. Nice atmosphere and beautiful furniture.

We went in back in September excited about buying all new furniture for our first home! We got a living room set, kitchen chairs, entertainment center, recliners, and a chaise lounge. We set the delivery date for October 16th as we were moving in fully on the 17th. Well, we got ONE recliner chair today October 22nd and were told there’s no for sure date of arrival for the rest and possibly won’t see it till mid December!!! Thanks for ruining our move in day and now possibly our first holiday in our first home!!! So angry right now!!!😡🤬 DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! We’re looking into canceling our order and going elsewhere.

The service was REALLY NICE and quick! I found the perfect bed! I was shopping at several different locations for a certain bed that I would get “chills” for, and I just couldn’t seem to find it. I randomly stopped at this store and seen SEVERAL options.. everything was in nice condition... I walked in there, and left in 20 min with the perfect bed! Who knew randomly stopping at this location, I would find the perfect match for me!

Whose very nice store it had a lot more selection than the stores in Austin The salesmen was a lot more knowledgeable than the people in Austin We show the salesman one of the Bedroom set we like. The bed was just a little too big for Room he suggested a couple other sets and we found when we like it . he helped us measure the bed to make sure would fit. Last week bought bed head, footboard and rails at my store in New Braunfels for my grandson in the McKinney Texas area. My daughter borrowed a truck to pick up at distribution center near Sunnyvale supposedly today. Well furniture not there and won't be there but will be in the Arlington distribution center Tuesday. Went to my store and manager was absolutely zero help. Arlington is a across Dallas from my daughter and she will have no way to pick up now. Grandson disappointed. Totally different service from when I bought Tempur pedic... EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED. Done with Ashley over this.

4 months, no furniture. Attempted an unannounced delivery, I was unavailable to receive it. Then the item is magically not in stock anymore, “was never in stock”, so I asked who was standing outside my house and with what sofa were they waiting? Next available date more than 1 month later. Purchased first part of May, still no sofa

***UPDATING TO 1 STAR*** Despite what appeared to be an attempt by Josh to fix the delivery issue and arrange it for us in a time frame that would work, it appears that is NOT the case!! Both my husband and I are getting repeated messages with a delivery time and date I made absolutely clear does not work!!! AND WHEN I finally got through the rudeness is outstanding. THIS ORDER IS VERY LIKELY GOING TO BE CANCELLED!! I WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS STRESS OR WASTE OF TIME. Customer service in the store during purchase was wonderful. Josh T the sales representative went above and beyond to assure we were taken care of and he deserves 5 stars... fast forward to now and the reason for the two star rating. We were supposed to receive our first of three deliveries August 29 and never received the call to tell us it was being rescheduled. I found out when I called. Now I am in an endless phone tag situation on hold for 20 minutes at a time trying to get this set up. I have wasted hours. It appears that after collecting thousands of dollars from us the customer service ended and we are now just s*** out of luck. I am real close to cancelling the entire order, and there will not be a restocking fee paid!! Not when I am getting no customer service. Darn shame.

NO stars for ASSley furniture. Zero. For starters, everyone is extremely rude. EVERYONE. Worst customer service ever. You will not get anything you order, only a severe headache. You will wait on hold for HOURS just trying to get help, only to get ZERO help. BUY YOUR FURNITURE ELSEWHERE. Read the reviews. Please heed this advice. Our delivery has been rescheduled 4-5 times now. I was assured that it would FINALLY arrive on Aug 29. We confirmed the delivery multiple times (as asked). Without explanation, no delivery on Aug 29th. The delivery team lied to us and told us we had the wrong number when we called to inquire on why they never showed...the voicemail clearly states that it belongs to the delivery team listed on our tracking info, yet they hung up on us and told us we had the wrong number. When I try and see the status of my order online NO INFO IS FOUND. No customer service was avail all weekend, called Monday, always takes an hour to get someone on the phone....when you do get someone, no one seems to know what the issue is and just tries rescheduling the delivery again. This sale has been a nightmare. Ashley has my money and I have nothing, and no idea when or if I'll get what I bought. Every single employee I have dealt with from the sale to scheduling and rescheduling all of these deliveries has been so rude it's unbelievable. I understand these are dark times, but no one in this company seems to have any humanity or concern to provide adequate customer service. I am disappointed beyond belief. The person I talked to this morning said she scheduled another delivery for the 5th now, but isn't sure that will go through? I want to know when FOR SURE I will get my items and I want it followed through on once and for all. No excuses. They keep perpetually scheduling deliveries and then either not showing up for CONFIRMED deliveries or saying they need to reschedule. GET IT TOGETHER OR REFUND ME!

I have received a master bedroom set that I can not use because bedrails were damaged (split)and the dresser is not put together correctly. It was already late in being delivered due to Covid. I took a day off from work to make sure I got it. Truck delivery people said to call Ashley for an equal exchange. They said it works better that way. They said this bedroom set comes in all the time.I Called Ashley today. No rails available and they want to send a technician out to look at dresser at a time to be set determined yet. I already am very doubtful that the technician is going to help on this matter... just delay it more.Then they tell me I have to wait on living room furniture till October. My family has always purchased from Ashley Furniture in Texas and New Mexico in the past. It’s very doubtful we will ever again. I need Ashley head management to get involved and get this fixed for me quickly. Taking off more days of work to get only pieces of furniture or damaged furniture is not going to work.

Salesman at the New Braunfels Ashley store lied to us after telling us that if we ordered online to get better prices on the furniture, the furniture delivery would be sent to us from out of state and local Ashley would not be able to come to our home to make any adjustments to our furniture if needed. I decided to call Ashley customer service and confirmed that the furniture would come from the local new Braunfels warehouse and the furniture would definitely be adjusted. It was then discovered that the person on the phone was a salesman from one of the San Antonio Ashley stores. I confronted the New Braunfels salesman about what I learned and he never apologize but end up matching the online prices. After receiving final receipt of payment, we compared the prices with the online prices and they did not match. I had to go back to speak to salesman as confronted him again, he then made the adjustments with a difference of more than $250 in refund. I know salesman work commission, however it saddens me that dishonesty has to be a part it.

Telephone wait time over 20 minutes to connect with your answering services is totally destroying your reputation

So I got my bed: headboard, mattress, foundation, footboard,- all together almost two months later ... the delivery process was very frustrating, Ashley didn’t refund some money what were promised to refund and on top of everything - footboard came with factory defects .... I sent an email with proofs - but no body’s calling no body’s emailing me back...

Probably the quickest furniture shopping experience we ever had! Walked in, found exactly what we wanted and were finished with the whole process in about 10 minutes! Recliners are beautiful, comfy, and well made! Our salesman was very helpful, great customer service!

I had originally wrote this store a 5 star review after my first experience there about 7 or 8 weeks ago. Since then I have had to cancel my order and go with another furniture store due to Ashley's not having anything in stock. While I realize that is not there fault, they didn't even tell me that that was the case until the day my furniture was scheduled to be delivered that now the earliest it would be delivered is the end of October but could be later. So I canceled my order (or so I thought) over the phone. After a week of not being about to get ahold of them I went into the store and spoke with the manager Chris and he assured me I would get a full refund and would have an email in a few days confirming the full refund. Another week goes by and no email so I call the cooperate number and they tell me the store still has yet to submit any refund request and even the person on the phone said they lied to me because they even had their manager check everything. So I go in to the store AGAIN and now the manager who is there has no authority to make the change saying I will "get a call tomorrow." Yeah ill believe that when it happens as they never answer the phone when I call the store and never call back when they say they are going to. Worst customer service I have ever had at a furniture store.

I walked in there today getting exactly what I wanted. The young man, Matt, was beyond helpful.

Most of my furniture pieces are Ashley pieces so when it came time to gift my Dad a recliner for Father’s Day it felt very natural to go to Ashley again. I placed the order in June however will not receive it until September! At first they told me it would take a month since this is a high demand item and Covid slowed the delivery process down. The date they gave me was July 21, then Aug 5, then Aug 12 (which we confirmed via text) and now it’s been pushed back to September 2! This delivery timeline is unacceptable. My family is entirely disappointed. We have been more than patient. I’ve tried calling and been on hold for an hour before you finally speak to someone. I’m begging to think we may never see that recliner. I feel let down and disappointed by a brand I trusted. After this Ashley has lost our business for life. Do better Ashley!

Purchased furniture in May, was told the furniture should be delivered NLT 8 weeks. Had our furniture schedule for July. Day it was supposed to be delivered, got called from delivery distribution office to say they will not be able to deliver the furniture. This has happened 6 times already. Still to date no furniture. I called the New Braunfels Office to see what they could do in regards of compensation. Was give 3 options: cancel order but would have to pay 10% restocking fee; exchange for furniture Of equal value but could would take up to 4 weeks for delivery (delivery date not guaranteed); or receive a $150 reimbursement that would post in 2 weeks. It’s been 3 weeks and still no reimbursement. Called the store to verify the reimbursement. Got put on hold and then disconnected. Tried calling back and no answer. I will never shop at Ashley’s ever again. Worst experience ever.

Staff is very friendly and not pushy about forcing you into buying something you don’t want or need.

I bought my furniture on June 23rd and it still hasn’t been delivered. They advised the earliest they could deliver would be July 14th, which was fine. Then they called or texted and advised it would be the 16th, then the 18th, then the 24th. I told them multiple times that I work night shift and cannot accept the furniture in the evening, yet they scheduled it for a 6p-9p slot on the 24th. I cancelled this delivery, yet they show up as I’m leaving for work. Neither I, nor my employer, accept being late. I’ve called customer service numerous times and the line disconnects after 8 minutes of being on hold. When I finally talk to someone, they promise delivery on the morning of the 28th and never show up. I used the website to cancel the order and get a refund. No response. I spend another 30 minutes on hold and getting disconnected until I talk to someone who tells me I have to go to the store to get a refund. I go to the store for my refund and I’m told it’s 7-10 business days. Completely unacceptable and appalled with this company.

Because of melodie at warehouse and Bob tittle boss. Rude, horrible customer service. She refused to get out of chair to help me. Short bobbed hair. Alvin sales person super nice.

Still waiting to be reimbursed for a protection plan I was charged for on a piece of furniture I don't even have. I have dealt with the sales manager multiple time. This has been going on since January and it is now August.

I have worked with Kayci on 2 separate furniture purchases and both times have found her to be very prompt, very knowledgeable and a real joy to work with. I will continue to use Ashley HoneStore in New Braunfels for all my furniture needs in the future.

I’m giving this company and store no stars! I attempted to order a couch the end of May and my order got delayed over 5 times. This has been the worst experience ever when ordering furniture. I will NEVER order anything from Ashley’s again. I was so disappointed in the customer service at the store and over the phone. When I went to ask about my order, and ended up canceling, nothing was done to try to keep my business or a simple “sorry”. STAY AWAY!!!! Go somewhere else and do NOT order from this horrible, lying company!!!!

Awful customer service! Have been lied to on delivery dates multiple times and hung up on from the warehouse in last 2 months since order when ask for explanation. Ashley Furniture Store is no help as they say they have no contact with the warehouse. Only way to cancel is through their manager who is apparently never there. Have been promised to receive a call back and never have, and told me it’s my responsibility to remind them to call me...Don’t waste your money at Ashley Furniture New Braunfels!

Alvin was super friendly and extremely accommodating!!! I knew exactly what I wanted and he made it happen! Even saved me additional $200+!

Keeping this short and sweet...Dexter went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed. We were in a bit of a rush but he continued to help us even after we left the store with close communication. We finally made our purchase and both Dexter and one of his Managers (whose name I didn’t get) had exceptionally customer service. Thank you and we will be back!!!

Kirt allen are salesman was excellent .we purchased a dining room table and chairs and 2 reclining chairs. My wife couldn't make up her mind on the table,we looked at 3 different ones,she wanted them all .Kirt was very patient with us we finally picked out the ist one we looked at. Prices were very reasonable. We will shop here again. Thank you Kirt.

Although I haven't owned any Ashley furniture yet, Dexter made shopping and ordering a pleasant experience.

The store I was at had great customer service and friendly. Kept a distance wasn't in our business asked questions then gave us space.

I went in to look at new bedroom furniture and a mattress. The furniture salesman, Kirt, was great. Allowed us to browse without being intrusive. Was available for questions if needed. He was also very helpful and explained the great deal that we got...including the additional percentages off of the price. Dexter, the sleep guy, was amazing! He really listened to our needs and also helped to point us in the direction of the perfect mattress....comfortable but within our budget! Both gentlemen were extremely helpful, not pushy and knew their products. The only complaint I have is the furniture delivery....not anyone’s fault except the Covid!!! Delivery is about a month out for the furniture. It’s ok...perfect price with great service! Will definitely shop at this store again!

I was automatically greeted when I walked in by Matt. He helped me out when I needed and let me browse alone. He wasn't pushy at all, let me browse freely and was very knowledgeable. Such a great variety and prices are reasonable.
