I was present in the store and witnessed a bad interaction. The customer was trying to resolve an issue with a delayed delivery and requested to cancel an order that had been promised for an earlier date. Instead of assisting, the staff member directed him to call customer service and refused to handle it in-store. When he asked for clarification and the employee’s name, she declined to provide full details and warned him about his tone. Overall, the situation appeared to be handled unprofessionally, and the customer was not given reasonable support. I felt bad for the person who purchased something before.

Amit and Liane were our sales reps for our experience and they did a fantastic job! Amit was friendly and provided great service on availability of items we liked and delivery time frames! Liane was awesome at helping us decide on a new mattress and informed us regarding the significance of a good mattress! if you’re planning to refresh your furniture/sleeping needs, ask for them!!

Terrible in-store customer service. They seem helpful when they want to sell you something, but if anything goes wrong with your order or delivery, you are left to handle everything yourself. In my case, I was told that if I bought the couch, it would be delivered on Tuesday, March 24, just four days after purchase. Based on that promise, I bought the sofa. They also offered me a financing option, which resulted in a hard inquiry on my credit report and a new Synchrony account being opened. However, by Monday, March 23, no one had replied to me with any delivery details or timing information. I eventually went to the store on March 24, and only then was I told that the earliest delivery date would actually be April 8. Since I had just moved into a new unit and did not have a sofa, I had no real choice but to cancel the order. That is when the experience became even worse. When I asked a staff member at Tribble to cancel my order, she told me to call customer service myself because she could not do it. I was shocked, since I had purchased the sofa in person at the store, not online. I told her that canceling the order should be the store’s responsibility. Instead, she repeated that I had to call a phone number or else the order would remain active and would not be canceled. When I asked again for help, she said she had to take care of other customers and walked away. When I asked for her name, she said her name was Tee. I then asked for her full name because I wanted to file a complaint. She refused and said she did not have to give me her full name. When I asked why she would not share her name if she believed she was acting appropriately, she told me not to shout at her and threatened to have me removed from the store. At that point, I realized what kind of business I was dealing with. Honestly, it felt worse than dealing with a fake online shop. In the end, I had to call customer service myself. Even that was a problem, because the number she gave me did not work after several attempts. I had to go back, get another number, cancel the order online, and then separately contact Synchrony Bank to close the financing account. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The store made a delivery promise to make the sale, failed to honor it, refused to take responsibility for canceling the order, and provided unacceptable customer service throughout the process.
