I went in to Ashley to make a purchase . I was tired and not in a great mood. Rosie made my day. By the time we finished my purchase she had me in a great mood!! She is a very special lady. Delivery updates were timely. Communication from Ashley very good albeit it was by chat bot, but what the hay! Order arrived at the time they said it would. Delivery guys great. Had the white glove delivery package Furniture came wrapped in bubble wrap and moving blankets. Delivery guys set up everything and placed it where we wanted. All we had to do is fill the drawers with our clothes!

I want to be clear that the associate who helped us was great—polite, informative, and respectful. We had a normal conversation about pricing and mentioned deals we’d seen at other places. As we were leaving, another individual made a comment loud enough for us to hear about “comparing apples to apples.” It came across as dismissive and rude, especially since we were still considering making a purchase. That comment alone changed the entire experience. Will not purchase from here

I love our new living room set! The couches were delivered to the house within a week. Our service with the sales rep was excellent as well! So glad that we chose to go with Ashley’s!

Picked up recliner, once I put it together, the recliner has 2 stains on in front one on the back. Recliner is also higher from one side when I lift the footrest and it stuck from the right side when lifting and once it pops it raises. Called customer service, they wanted me to provide pictures and video, to which I did. They asked me they will let me know when a new one is available to pick up by the end of the month. Unfortunately, I bought this for my mother and I’m visiting my mother and I will not be available to pick. I requested they deliver and deliver and set up free of charge since I did my part. The representative told me they will call me back today or tomorrow to let me know the outcome. I paid a $1000 for this reclined for my mother, and once I proved the evidence of a faulty chair, I should not be asked to pick up again, they should offer free delivery and set up. On a good note, salesman was polite and very helpful. I give him 5 stars, the CS rep 5 stars very nice and helpful, but 2 stars for the wait time, and 2 stars for faulty product.

I came in looking for bed frame options for a mattress I had already purchased and ordered from a different store. Mike Tamez was the associate that greeted me at the door and I am so glad it happened to be him. I cannot say enough positive things about Mike and the experience he provided. His knowledge, professionalism and attention to his customers is on another level. He never once tried to "sell" me on a product but because of how well he listened to what I was looking for and his product knowledge overall I ended up canceling the mattress I had on order at the other store and bought everything from him. Mike provided excellent recommendations and waited patiently while I tested them to my hearts content. My purchase was made in full confidence knowing I had the perfect blend of features I needed/wanted at a price point that made sense for me. Ashley furniture is lucky to have Mike in their employ.

My husband and I had been struggling in finding a mattress, and we weren't very knowledgeable about it and therefore felt a little insecure about the whole process .BUT, they were super patient and understanding and took the time to listen to us 😁! We will be coming again for future furniture purchases!

Pharr Texas location- I went into Ashley Furniture to purchase a couch set costing over $2,000. Everything was fine and pleasant until after I paid. I was promised delivery before Thanksgiving. After payment, my salesperson completely stopped responding to my calls and messages. I was essentially ghosted. Because the couch never arrived, I had to cancel Thanksgiving at my home, even though I had family coming in from out of town. This was extremely disappointing and stressful. After getting no response, I finally went into the store in person. A manager told me he would reimburse the delivery fee due to the inconvenience and the unprofessional behavior of the salesperson. He printed an invoice showing the delivery credit, explained that since I paid cash the reimbursement would be sent as a check, and signed the paperwork himself. I never received anything. When I called today, another manager told me there were no notes of that conversation and no reimbursement ticket submitted. I was then told they would “submit it next week” and that it would take another 4–6 weeks to receive. This entire experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and unacceptable for a purchase of this size. I will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again, and I will be sharing my experience in local social media groups to hopefully save others from dealing with the same headache.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Ashley Furniture store in Pharr,, TX. The salesperson would not give us any space to browse, despite clear signals that we wanted to look around on our own. Instead of respecting that, she escalated the situation by bringing over the store manager. The manager then told us that if we didn’t want to be constantly approached by sales staff, we should leave the store. That is an unacceptable way to treat customers who are simply trying to shop comfortably. Furniture shopping should not feel hostile or pressured. We left without buying anything and will not be returning.

Ordered a bed frame and tempur mattress weeks ago. Was promised both would arrive at same time. Not only has mattress been rescheduled 4 times, we will haven’t received it. Have cancelled items. Having to take off work to wait for items to just be rescheduled is not fun. Never again

Horrible experience with this store...Do not waste your time or money...I bought a living room set cash. When they delivered the ottoman, it was damaged, dirty, and wet...it's been 3 months and they have not fixed the problem.

I bought a server table SEP 2025. It was my fault that I did not inspect the item thoroughly upon delivery because my spouse noticed factory defects on the item a couple of days later. I immediately contacted my salesperson who promptly helped me in the process of filing a complaint for warranty service. The customer service of Ashley Furniture is automated, meaning you will be dealing with an A.I. through several text messages and emails. After you satisfy what the A.I. needs to process your claim (send pictures, description of the problem, serial no. of the product, details of the purchase, amount of product, etc), this will be the start of a very long wait, until you dial the Customer Hotline where you will talk to someone on the other side of the globe who cannot help you except to advise to re-file your claim again. This grueling process of re-sending the information to the A.I. through email and text messages cycles 5 to 6 times for me, until I filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau BBB against Ashley Furniture. When the BBB started communicating with Ashley Furniture, a representative from Ashley Corporate Office contacted me and started to entertain my concerns which was to replace the item due to factory defect. I was told by the representative that Ashley do not regularly replace items and that they only repair factory defects however, Ashley is willing to make an exception for me. This process took a long time and would have not been possible without the help of the BBB.

Very disappointed, horrible service AFTER purchasing furniture, they showed up with broken furniture, tried to hide the broken furniture, drawer was broken and wouldn’t even close…. Call customer support, stated id have to wait a month just to receive a replacement, I was annoyed but waited the month, they get here with the wrong furniture…. Tells me someone will contact me, haven’t heard from them. Today I call customer support again. Just as useless as the last time…. Made buying new furniture for my home a horrible experience. Update- texted the number they gave below on my review. Number just told me to text another number 🤦🏽‍♂️…… what is wrong with this store??!!! I will be sending all this to the BBB. Why am I paying for something that wasn’t fulfilled on their end.

This place continues to disappoint me. First time I ordered a bed from them the bed was full of ants and little insects, we didnt accept the furniture of course. The next time we ordered they gave us a delivery date and all well fast forward to the scheduled date nothing came. I called and asked and they said there was an error with payment? Nobody ever called to tell me this and the day before they had text me to review the store. It makes no sense. Just avoid this place.

I was very excited to receive my table super fast! But it arrived damaged, now I have to wait 10 days for the exchange to happen 😪

Salesperson (Gabriel) I’m saddened to say that our experience with this salesman was not good at all. It started with the day of the purchase, We ended up buying a floor item and when we asked him to look into why a light on the recliner wasn’t working he’s response was horrible. His response was “ We don’t fix anything around here, you buy as is if you want it” I get it that this is a floor item and the very least he could have said was, the same response in a more politely way. For example, we do apologize sir, but we don’t have any technicians that can check this here at the store. After he saw my expression he ended up calling for some help from the warehouse guys and all it was a loose cord. Unbelievable… but this lead to the delivery date of the sofas, which was another ordeal. Anyways ended up canceling the order. Nothing much more to say, but if you do end up going to this store, just try a different salesman.

On 7/27/25 we went to see and decided to buy a bedroom and I have had a very bad experience with the store, the staff and the company. The bedroom pieces are still not complete. I am paying for a bedroom that I do not have in use since I am missing pieces to put the bed together. Today I called and they told me that I have to wait 6 more weeks, I can't believe it, I am disappointed.

We were stuck with a protection plan we didn't want. We weren't given break down of pricing until after payment was processed. Lesson learned. Insist on seeing the details. We went from being happy with our purchase to feeling it was a shady deal in the end. Disappointing to say the least.

Pretty good but very minor damage. They insist it will take 2 weeks to come out to fix because they are so busy. Do they really damage that much new furniture that the repair department is backed up 2 weeks??

Customer service is non-existent. All you get are automated messages and AI responses. When there’s a real issue, you end up in circles with no actual person to help. We received our sofas damaged on delivery this past Saturday. The driver refused to take them back and told us to call customer service. We’ve been calling ever since, but can’t get past their automated system advertising “great offers for customers age 50+.” 😠 Warning: Don’t buy from here. They treat all sales as final and don’t stand behind their products. This was our first and last time shopping here. Update: After trying to contact customer service several times today with no luck, we went into the store. After asking for a manager, we were introduced to Lily Martinez and then later to Kevin Lemke, the “manager on duty.” It took nearly 3 hours for Kevin to finally get customer service to process our exchange—because, as it turns out, they don’t do returns, only exchanges if you meet their criteria. So why claim you have a “return policy” when in reality it should be called an exchange-only policy? During those 3 hours, Kevin had to speak to 4–5 different people before finally getting the exchange approved through their customer service line. The entire process was unnecessarily frustrating and time-consuming. It’s unrealistic for them to expect customers to navigate their system/procedures when their own employees also have a difficult time. Why make things so difficult for customers? This experience has made it very clear: shopping here is not worth the hassle. Go to Lacks, LFD, or somewhere else.

Eric Quintero, It’s extremely unfortunate that you don’t have the patience, empathy, understanding, or ability to connect with an upset customer and spend even 60 seconds with them before cutting them off while speaking and disregarding entirely their concerns being presented to you. I can’t imagine what the associates below you have to deal with if this is how you treat a customer. You stood there, making excuses and trying to give me reasons why my time wasn’t as important as you needing to greet somebody walking through your door. When the fact is I walked in the door and wasn’t greeted at all and had to seek out an associate so they could help me find you. Its really you just didn’t wanna deal with somebody that was unhappy and all you seemed to be focused on were other customers walking around the store. Having had three previous accounts opened paid for and closed with this location, My wife opened up this most recent account and based on how you treated me, Without hesitation, we’re ready to cancel. I should thank you for showing me exactly who I could’ve potentially dealt with if the order wasn’t canceled and something was wrong and I had to return outside of a buyers remorse or return period. I’ll be sure to warn anyone and everyone about how business is done there and how customers are treated. And don’t ever let anyone tell you that this location has a direct number to reach because they dont. All of their supposed office numbers on their business cards don’t go to anybody in that entire building, those calls are routed to some random person who doesn’t even work at that location and who also admitted that associates or any members of that store are very difficult to get a hold of. It’s always good when members of a business truly show customers what they can expect.

Our experience today with the purchase of our mattress was very pleasant due to the expertise of Eric and Alex. They made our purchase less complicated due to their knowledge and great customer service.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I payed for a $300 dresser IN FULL 3 months ago. When it was delivered 3 weeks later, it came broken on the corner. We immediately called customer service, and we were told that they would send someone to inspect the dresser within a week. A week passed and no one came, so we called again. Then they said that before they can send someone to inspect the dresser, they had to ship us some screws and bolts, which would take about another week. A week passed and we didn’t receive anything, so we called again. We were told that we never needed to be sent screws and bolts and whoever said that was wrong, and that we needed to schedule an exchange date. We scheduled the date for the earliest available date, which was for a month later. No prioroty was given to us event though we had bought our dresser 2 months before and has just been strung around by the Ashley’s furniture company while they already had my money so I couldn’t buy another dresser. A few days before the exchange date, we got a call to confirm the appointment, and we did. Then a couple of days after that we got an email asking us to confirm the date again, and since we did not confirm through email within 24 hours, our schedule exchange date was cancelled even though we had already confirmed through the phone a few days before. We then had to call to make another appointment. My husband chose the wrong date, so I called back to change it. I chose the earliest date from the options given, which was 2 days from that day, and then at the end of the call, the operator said the date was confirmed. Then the next day we call to confirm the date and we’re told our appointment date was not changed at all and it was impossible to have chosen that day in the first place because it was too soon and did not give an explanation as to why that date was an option then if it was impossible to deliver that day. He rescheduled our delivery for a week from now. I still have not gotten the dresser, and it’s been 3 months. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE if you want to be able to use the furniture you buy. Customer service is completely incompetent and does not know what they are doing. You are told one thing and then something that contradicts it. We have been stressed for 3 months.

Lily really helped out getting the right sofas for our living room. She went above and beyond with great customer service, and showed every piece of sectional. When we had an issue with delivery she helped us out and and even helped us format the sectionals the right way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER

If you’re considering buying from Ashley Furniture, here’s my experience: I purchased a mattress that turned out to be an inch smaller than what was advertised. When I tried to get help, their customer service was a nightmare. They use Package.ai to manage fulfillment, and the only option they give you is texting. But the texting system blocked me, so I couldn’t get through. I went to the store and called multiple times. Each time I was told someone would call me back — but no one ever did. At the store, I even showed them that the text system didn’t work, but all they did was tell me to “text” again. No real support, just the runaround. To make matters worse, their sales are “final,” so they use that as an excuse not to fix issues. The only way I got any movement was by filing a claim with my credit card company. After that, Ashley finally started calling me — but only because they wanted to get paid, not to apologize or make things right. Even then, they never once said “sorry” for ignoring me. Bottom line: if you want furniture and you’re certain you’ll never need customer service, maybe you’ll be okay. But if something goes wrong, expect zero support. Their fulfillment system is terrible, the staff doesn’t care, and you’ll be left fighting just to be heard. I would not recommend Ashley Furniture and I will never buy from them again. 9/16/2025 I received a call from Ashley Furniture's customer service team in Tennessee after opting out of their text messages. The representative, Leanna Olveira, was dismissive and rude. Even though I specifically asked for a live person to contact me if they want to re-confirm the appointment, she said a text would still be sent because “that’s how their system works,” while claiming she would note it in the account. She seemed irritated that I requested a real conversation instead of an automated message. If you want to feel ignored and disrespected, then by all means shop here—Ashley Furniture will make sure you’re treated that way. Once again, they’ve proven themselves to be unhelpful, unprofessional, and unwilling to provide real customer service.

SEPT 1. 2025 So far, we are not having a great experience with ASHLEY FURNITURE. We worked with Antonio from the Pharr location and he was great to help sell us the furniture. But now we’re speaking with Ashleys customer service corporate for a replacement chest because they shipped and delivered one that was broken and outside of the box. We DO NOT RECCOMEND PURCHASING furniture from this store. Unfortunately they do not allow returns or exchanges (we didn’t know this until after they processed our purchase) we truly wasted $1700 for a HORRIBLE customer experience. I’m deeply disappointed with this furniture store and the awful customer service reps who are no help in corporate. Please don’t overlook the other reviews. It is truly that bad. I will update this review if they rectify the situation, but things aren’t looking great. Again, please don’t overlook the other negative reviews, as of now I don’t recommend you bring your money here. They will try to respond back and offer you the customer service CORP number to band aid the situation. Don’t fall for it because their policies and corporate customer service is incompetent and will not help. There’s better furniture stores with better, more competent customer support (won’t make the mistake of purchasing here again.) Spend your money literally anywhere else or buy off Amazon.

Everything went well until getting the item that we purchased was set up for delivery. I found out that I had to get rid of my mattress being replaced by myself and couldn't find anyone to either accept it or pick it up. I have to find a way to get rid of it before I can accept the new delivery because I don't have the room to hold it in my home.

My first and last time buying something from this place. We bought this bed frame in April and we've been having issues with it since day one. We've gone to the store several times and nothing is ever resolved. They just say they'll work on it but months later still no resolution. There's absolutely no support on this bed frame. The drawer on one side became detached because of how poorly build it is. This was NOT WORTH THE MONEY WE SPENT. Also their "white glove service" is a joke, I had to move a heavy tempur pedic bed frame for two grown "men". Please think 10 times before you buy anything from here. 08/20/25 Update my husband has been going to the store during his lunch hours, and he's been going back an forth with people over the phone saying this will get resolved and nothing. Literally just going to put this bed frame outside my home to get it taken by the trash at this point. Definitely not worth the $1,500

Everything would've been great except they forgot leaf for table and that is perfectly fine but to get the leaf and for them to return and install it was a nightmare. Told the salesperson multiple times that my wife and I just wanted to browse alone and that we’d call her over if we needed help. Very pushy and aggressive environment. We’re looking for an L-shaped couch and maybe would have bought one, but the whole experience left a bitter taste. Won’t be coming back.

This is by far my favorite furniture store. We got helped by Lily and she was so kind and patient while we shopped around. She was a joy to shop with and I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for furniture to ask for her. We were very satisfied with our purchases!

UPDATE 05/10 : Tonight we be the third night without being able to use the bed. They delivery drivers showed up a day later then they were supposed to with the hardware and they still couldn’t assemble the bed due to legs of the bed missing now. It’s ridiculous they can not deliver on what is promised. Customer care is no help they can’t get no one to fix the issue immediately. It’s been a nightmare buying this bed. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AS A CUSTOMER. WORST FURNITURE STORE TO DEAL WITH!!! Our delivery service was absolutely terrible! Don’t waste your money on the “white glove delivery” for $200. It’s a complete scam. We ordered a king bed and mattress, expecting it to be delivered on a specific day. The delivery guys showed up, left the bed disassembled because they didn’t have the right hardware, and said they’d be back the next day. The next day, they didn’t show up by noon so I called to check if they were going to show up, and they told me they’d come the following day. That’s two whole nights without a bed! It’s incredibly disappointing and upsetting having to pay thousands of dollars, plus extra, just to get it delivered and assembled on the set day, only to have them fail to fulfill their responsibility. The photos I’m uploading is the condition the bed was left in.

I went to the store and choose a Kristiland King Size bed with storage. I didn't noticed that the seller placed my order wrong. As I costumer I didn't know there is similiar model avaiable, that hadn't see at store. Now I received a different bed that I intended to buy.

The service was amazing. Everyone was courteous attentive. This is my second time coming to Ashley’s Furniture and I definitely recommend them.

It’s been the worst experience getting my furniture. It’s been more than a month and I don’t have all the furniture and the one I do have it’s complete. I got the bill but haven’t been able to get my furniture. Delivery drivers came and could not assemble the bed due to missing hardware. They came back three times and could not assemble.

Horrible customer service, no real person answers the phone only an automated system. I had to get my money back since they didn’t deliver on the scheduled delivery date. Very attentive with what we were looking for

I went in and was interested in a rug and was told it was available, then I called a few days later to get delivery dates to fond out the rug was no longer available. I was informed I could choose another or take the one off the sales floor. I loved the rug so chose the floor rug bit was not informed that I would not be able to get it delivered as originally scheduled. I feel my sales person could have been more thorough with her information coming across to me. I picked the rug up today and the gentleman that helped get it in the car was very helpful.

I went to the Pharr location on February for a tv stand. Paid there. Till this day I haven’t received my order. The manager says to call corporate, corporate to call the store. Still no resolution. I’ve called the credit card, and still no resolution. It’s now April I’ve paid off the card and nothing.

Sales team was amazing: VERY knowledgeable and professional. The warehouse team was abysmal: delayed my shipment twice and I could not get a hold of an actual person. The delivery/install crew were good: they assembled and installed everything quickly and were clean about it. Overall: you need to hound the warehouse people and get explicit confirmation of the delivery window or you’re going to have a bad time.

Do not get your furniture from here. You’re better going to rooms to go. I decided to try a different route and it’s been the worst experience of my life. The bed frame I purchased came with missing parts and it wasn’t even properly installed . There was even broken pieces and missing screws the people didn’t even place . I overlooked it because I trusted their expertise but I was proven wrong and stood incorrect.

Worse experience ever. Bought my dining table there. Sale associate Had listed what came with my dinning set and upon pick item not included. Sad part of it was he had double check item was there. All they said I’m sorry for wrong information.

Nice furniture set up but poor quality management. What's the point of management if not to resolve issues! They sell you overpriced furniture then push expensive warranty!!
