UPDATE 05/10 : Tonight we be the third night without being able to use the bed. They delivery drivers showed up a day later then they were supposed to with the hardware and they still couldn’t assemble the bed due to legs of the bed missing now. It’s ridiculous they can not deliver on what is promised. Customer care is no help they can’t get no one to fix the issue immediately. It’s been a nightmare buying this bed. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE THAT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU AS A CUSTOMER. WORST FURNITURE STORE TO DEAL WITH!!! Our delivery service was absolutely terrible! Don’t waste your money on the “white glove delivery” for $200. It’s a complete scam. We ordered a king bed and mattress, expecting it to be delivered on a specific day. The delivery guys showed up, left the bed disassembled because they didn’t have the right hardware, and said they’d be back the next day. The next day, they didn’t show up by noon so I called to check if they were going to show up, and they told me they’d come the following day. That’s two whole nights without a bed! It’s incredibly disappointing and upsetting having to pay thousands of dollars, plus extra, just to get it delivered and assembled on the set day, only to have them fail to fulfill their responsibility. I went to the store and choose a Kristiland King Size bed with storage. I didn't noticed that the seller placed my order wrong. As I costumer I didn't know there is similiar model avaiable, that hadn't see at store. Now I received a different bed that I intended to buy.

The service was amazing. Everyone was courteous attentive. This is my second time coming to Ashley’s Furniture and I definitely recommend them.

The worse furniture store in the valley. They never delivered my bed set on the scheduled delivery date so I had to cancel my order. Horrible customer service, no real person answers the phone only an automated system. I had to get my money back since they didn’t deliver on the scheduled delivery date. They kept rescheduling the delivery date. Only a robot will answer their direct phone number no real live person answers the direct phone number.

I went in and was interested in a rug and was told it was available, then I called a few days later to get delivery dates to fond out the rug was no longer available. I was informed I could choose another or take the one off the sales floor. I loved the rug so chose the floor rug bit was not informed that I would not be able to get it delivered as originally scheduled. I feel my sales person could have been more thorough with her information coming across to me. I picked the rug up today and the gentleman that helped get it in the car was very helpful.

I went to the Pharr location on February for a tv stand. Paid there. Till this day I haven’t received my order. The manager says to call corporate, corporate to call the store. Still no resolution. I’ve called the credit card, and still no resolution. It’s now April I’ve paid off the card and nothing.

Sales team was amazing: VERY knowledgeable and professional. The warehouse team was abysmal: delayed my shipment twice and I could not get a hold of an actual person. The delivery/install crew were good: they assembled and installed everything quickly and were clean about it. Overall: you need to hound the warehouse people and get explicit confirmation of the delivery window or you’re going to have a bad time.

Well actually my Mom was the one purchasing the Lift Chair she said the young gentleman that helped her was very nice, polite, and professional. Do not get your furniture from here. You’re better going to rooms to go. I decided to try a different route and it’s been the worst experience of my life. The bed frame I purchased came with missing parts and it wasn’t even properly installed . There was even broken pieces and missing screws the people didn’t even place . I overlooked it because I trusted their expertise but I was proven wrong and stood incorrect.

We bought a mattres item number 026b919028 in february 2024 and bought the warranty, seller is offering this as if it is totally the best mattress in the world manufactures by Ashley, not 6 months it stared sinking in and called the service department to file a claim, since then they have given us the trun arround and back and forward, each time we call is the same, they reply that they will take care of it and each time tell us that they did not follow up and they need to file a claim again we are now in april 2025 and still the same Do not buy mattreses from Ashley furniture dont wist your money

Worse experience ever. Bought my dining table there. Sale associate Had listed what came with my dinning set and upon pick item not included. Sad part of it was he had double check item was there. All they said I’m sorry for wrong information.

We left there very thrilled thinking we had gotten this one in a life time deal after getting a 5600 bedroom set for 4000 cash deal . We’ll next day my wife looks on line and saw the same bedroom set plus additional pieces of furniture for the $4000. I have used Ashley furniture for years and have furnished numerous of my homes only with Ashley . Never again will I ever step foot in any of there stores . Nice furniture set up but poor quality management. What's the point of management if not to resolve issues! They sell you overpriced furniture then push expensive warranty!! DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR FURNITURE. We purchased two couches Feb. 8, 2025, at Ashley Furniture, 401 N Jackson Rd, Pharr, TX. They were delivered Feb 12. Both couches had powered recliners. One of them was broken upon delivery (foot rest would go up, would not go down). I called Ashley Furniture 5 minutes after the delivery to let them know. They said a repair tech would be scheduled and would let me know when. The couches were supposed to have pillows. They were delivered without pillows. We called and were told pillows would be shipped to us. A few days later we received pillow cases - no actual pillows. I went to the store and told a manager what happened. He put me on the phone with their customer support who promised to ship the pillows (still waiting on those). While I was on the phone with the customer support I inquired about the repair tech. The lady I spoke with said they had no record of me requesting a repair for the couches. I told her what was wrong with them and she (again) promised to send a repair tech. That was a week ago. Still waiting for pillows and a repair tech. As of today, Feb. 28, still waiting on pillow cases and still waiting for a repair person. At every step of the way, Ashley Furniture has failed. Update: March 3, 2025, we received TWO pillow inserts. We have FOUR pillows. So I now have two complete pillows, and two pillows cases with no inserts. I went to the store to inquire about the pillow inserts. I was given their customer service number. No one at the store was willing to help. They quickly said "There is nothing we can do. You have to call the number." ZERO customer service. March 5, 2025: I called the customer service number. 1st time, someone answered, all I heard was noise. No voice. After a couple minutes I hung up. 2nd call: someone answered, so I began to explain the issue. As I was halfway through telling them about the pillows, a recording came on, asking me "How satisfied are you with our service?" After a few seconds, click. They hung up. There are no words to describe the customer service of Ashley Furniture.

Terrible experience. I purchased a full size mattress that I was told included the 90 day guarantee. Less than a week later I called to exchange it and pay for an upgrade to a king size. They then told me that the mattress I purchased is not one of their mattresses that has the 90 day guarantee and I could not return it or pay for an upgrade. Complete bait and switch and lies from the salespeople. I'll stick with Mattress Firm going forward. Update: I received an automated response from Ashley Store so I replied back via text. They then proceeded to tell me the 90 day guarantee does apply (contradicts previous statement when I called) but I have to keep the mattress for 30 days first. I explained that nowhere in the paperwork does it say this nor is it listed on their website. They then responded with their "policy" from a form that I did not receive or sign. I went from being upset that I was lied to, to now feeling scammed. I will never purchase anything from any Ashley store in the future.

Edit: Unfortunately their delivery team is not up to par with the quality of service we received in store. I will admit that delivery was a lot sooner than we expected however they did a horrible job at setting up our bed. They left parts of the packaging on there and failed to screw in the bed slats and legs correctly. Due to the poor setup there was damage to the screws on the bed which is now causing some instability. Great Experience at Ashley HomeStore! I recently visited Ashley HomeStore and had an amazing experience. Aaron A. was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding us through their wide selection of furniture to find exactly what we were looking for. He was patient with us and never tried to push us to purchase anything we weren’t interested in. Would definitely return for our next purchase.

Stopped today at Ashley’s Furniture hoping to find the perfect sofa for my new apartment. I was welcome by the friendly sales associates who were nice to and pointed me out in the right direction. After making my way around, I was helped by Chris who listened to what I needed. He offered several options where I got to understand and see the difference between the sofas. Im happy to say that his customer service was excellent and I was able to make a purchase. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately I was very pleased at first but then came the disappointment! I have had the dresser for less than 2!!! Weeks and one of the drawers BROKE!!! Not to mention that when it was delivered it had a crack on the side of it. Yes they gave me a $100.00 discount wow the dresser is not even real wood to begin with. I called the salesperson to help me out with this issue I’m still waiting for his call for 2 weeks now I called corporate and they said I had to file a claim through their website and men was this a joke is like going around and around in circles. And when finally I was able to complete the claim after 1 & 1/2 hrs later they ( robot) said they will contact me via email in 2 to 4 days!!! I can go on and on and on but the moral of the story is ROOMS TO GO I’ll be back !!!! Sorry I even went to Ashley Furniture to begin with!!! A very unhappy customer lesson learned!!

Approved by her supervisor and also received the warranty for 5 years and if it is not used we get that $350 in store credit. So wonderful. Lucy gave such professional customer service. Even one star is too much... Horrible customer service... once deal is done they can care less of the delivery and service. Paid for building a bed frame and apparently it was forgotten but charged$ yes. Went to store and they're a joke... rude, sarcastic, laughing... "there's nothing you can do now" kind of attitude... Will never be purchasing from this store again, strongly discourage you from buying furniture here. I had purchased a Christmas gift (a bed) the very first days of December, I got the bed after Christmas and when the workers installed it they broke the center rail leaving the bed improperly supported. Called customer service to fix this issue and they sent replacement parts twice and they were wrong both times, this process was taking forever prolonging my brother to be sleeping on a mattress on the floor, finally we were able to get the right part after a long time, non helpful customer service people and supervisors, trying to give only 50$ store credit for all the issues encountered, which is useless because will never be buying there again. Once I received right part I tried scheduling for installation which was already payed for, they told me I had to wait 3 weeks for someone to go and install. Everyone was unhelpful and very unprofessional.

Sales guy was nice, but wasn’t very transparent on delivery details etc. placed an order for a mattress but wasn’t until after I signed that I was notified it wouldn’t be delivered for another 2-3 weeks. Had I known this I would’ve chosen a different bed. Along with this they only scheduled the bed to be delivered and not the foundation even when I purchased both at the same time which I thought would be obvious they would both be delivered together. I had to call to update the foundation to be delivered which the representative changed but yet still wasn’t delivered together. I ended up having to pick up & build the foundation on my own after the bed was left at my home. I will likely not shop here in the future due lack of costumer care & service compared to other furniture stores I have recently shopped at.

Funny how the "owner" responded so quickly after I left a one star review here on 12-29-24 but it was so difficult to get them to rectify our problem. After dealing with a delayed delivery, Ashley repeatedly delivering a damaged product, Ashley attempting to redeliver a damaged product without accountability, Ashley giving a small discount on the final accepted damage product, Ashley offering credit that we could not use on our damaged product and feeling disrespected and scammed into paying far more than our damaged product was worth, I have to say that our first purchase will be our last. Home decor is a form of self expression and sets the tone for how you feel in your home. We don't have a positive feeling after dealing with this business and I personally cannot recommend Ashley Furniture.

A drawer of one of the beds arrived broken and they left the bed unassembled. Although the men said they would deliver the drawer tomorrow, I received notification that they will not deliver until th 28th. We ordered these beds since August as christmas gifts and we are disappointed by the service. I tried calling the store directly only to be received by prompts and not a perso to speak to.

Delivery process is horrible. I was told when I purchased my bed and frame that they would come on the 16th of Dec. No one told me it was a tentative date. The day comes and I only recieve the bed, no frame. I sent the truck away because the whole purpose of choosing the 16th as the date was because that's when I was told everything would be available for delivery. I called customer service and the supervisor was not helpful at all. The best they could do was give me another date and told me to call the day my furniture arrives at the warehouse to confirm I would get it the new day I was told.

The service was extremely professional. I was helped the minute I walked in the door. In and out without any issues. GREAT work from the team.

Well to start off, Aaron sales guy put my wrong phone number which delayed my delivery. So because of that I had to rescheduled my traveling plans since I had no one else to be at my house. After calling customer service they had to put ticket in for partial refund for my delivery( which I don’t know if it’s going to be approved). Had to call back to customer service to get a delivery date which they said to call the store so they can update my phone number. First time I called they placed me on hold for more than 30 mins. While being on hold used another cell phone to call the store and a lady by the name Rosie helped me out within the first minute. Please tell Rosie thank you!!!!! And for giving me the soonest date for delivery( even thou I had to reschedule my plans) but I didn’t have to wait til the 18th or longer that customer service was providing me. I purchased a living room set and up until this day I have not received the full living room set and the only sofa that was delivered which was the recliner does not work so they said they will do an exchange which they haven’t done. They keep on rescheduling the delivery day. They even scheduled a delivery day and they did not show up. I called and requested to talk to a manager but they never have one and they say they are going to call back and they don’t call back. Worst customer service ever. First and last time I will purchase from them. I was even thinking on just going to the store and canceling the order.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ASHLEY FRANCHISE. We ordered the Roanhowe set, dining, chairs, bedroom suite, shelves when moving into a new house. Order in mid July was told the furniture would be in first week of August. The majority of the furniture has come in with exception of the bed. Was told it would be a few more weeks, that went by. Salesman gave his number but never returns calls or text. Go into store and they have no clue where the bed is. I’m told they would look into it and call back but never get call back. Go into store again 8 weeks later and still no bed or answer. Speak to manager who says he will contact floor manager to see if we could possibly get the display. Again told we’d get a call, but nope no call. We are now at 16 weeks with no bed, we have been sleeping with our mattress on the floor. Then when we contact corporate they don’t have delivery and say we need to go to shipping warehouse when it comes in to get it. Even though we paid for delivery and setup. Finally get that cleared so hopefully when it does come in we’ll get it. If you have 4-6 months to wait for furniture then by all means use this Ashley. But don’t expect the store salespeople or manager to put forth any effort to getting your furniture. They will tell you what you want to hear but have zero follow through. They will make you do all the work to find out the status because they already have your money. Use another Ashley outside the RGV and local areas. I’ve found you’ll get your stuff faster and have sales crew that care.

This was my first experience purchasing from Ashley Furniture, and it will likely be my last. While the sales process was seamless and efficient, I encountered significant issues upon delivery. Two of the side chairs had scratches on their legs, and the two table leaves were also damaged. I refused the items and attempted to contact the store for information regarding the return process. Unfortunately, my calls went unanswered, and messages to sales staff were not returned. After two days of persistent attempts, I finally reached a manager, who informed me that the store does not handle exchanges directly and that I would need to contact customer service for any returns or exchanges. This has been quite frustrating, as it seems that once the payment is made (we paid cash for the dining set), customer support diminishes significantly. Additionally, I was informed that there was a balance due for exchanging the table leaves, despite them arriving damaged from the warehouse. I am currently working with customer service representatives to resolve this issue. I would advise potential buyers to proceed with caution, as it appears that customer support may be lacking once a purchase is finalized.

Bought a bed base with mattresses for my Mother. We gave them my mother's adress to be delivered and mattresses were delivered to my address instead, which was WRONG. So I had to load the mattress on my truck to deliver myself to my mother's place. Also, base was not delivered until a different day, so we had to put the mattress on the floor for my elderly mother. And I still paid for the mattress delivery...WHAT A RIP OFF from Ashley. Terrible mistake from RAUL VALDOVINOS. I've bought 4 bedroom sets with mattresses, 2 living room sets, 2 dining sets and 2 sets of bar stools from this particular store. NEVER AGAIN will I ever buy anything from here again.

If leaving zero stars were possible, we would. We have no issues with the quality of the products, but Ashley Furniture’s customer service is an absolute disaster. For six straight months, we've been charged late fees and add-on fees, despite our payments never being late. Initially, we were told that because our payment wasn’t processed on their end—even though it was posted well before the due date—we were charged late fees. Fine. Now, we pay over a week in advance, and the fees still haven’t stopped. They continue to charge us additional fees, refuse to waive them, and give us the runaround on their customer service line. Save yourself the hassle—don’t buy from here.

I only gave it one star because Aisis, the assistant manager, is truly wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. It's sad to see such potential overshadowed by lots of chaos. I really can't recommend shopping here. Please don’t.

Almost 3 months and still no sofas. First and last time I purchased there.

The communication was not good. We expected our delivery 1 week and 1 day after being in the store. We ordered, and paid for our furniture. Called to find out what time it would be delivered the day that they told us it would be delivered. It took SEVERAL CALLS for someone to "find" our order then quit a while on hold, to find out it wasn't going to be delivered that day .... or for at least another week. Was told we would be credited the delivery fee. That hasn't happened yet, but our furniture was delivered today. Yay!! We were very happy with the delivery and set up! Very happy with our furniture!! Only complaint.... would have been nice to have heard from the store that we bought from, that it wasn't going to be delivered the day they told us it would. Certainly hope they come thru, with the delivery fee, they told us would be reimbursed.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Gabby at Ashley's Furniture, and I must say she was amazing. Gabby was friendly and helpful, allowing me the time to browse without any pressure to make a quick decision. She guided us through the process and helped us find a purchase that we really liked. Her approachable attitude made the shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free. However, I was disappointed with Gabby's manager, Mike. During the negotiation process, Mike's behavior was unprofessional. He walked back to his team and we overheard him say, " it’s the end of the f***** month and we have to make the sale.” We have previously purchased from Ashley’s and always selected the 18 month financing with zero issues. As she called him on her walkie talkie I could hear him yell, " hell no! I already gave her a better price she has to f****** pay the 12 months.” Although I don’t fault Gabby for Mike's behavior, it was uncomfortable to see such conduct from a manager. Despite this, my husband and I decided to go through with the purchase. Before leaving the store, I felt compelled to address the issue with Mike. However, he responded dismissively and did not take responsibility for his actions. It is important for management to consider how their behavior impacts customers' experiences. Employees like Gabby, who provide excellent customer service, create a positive shopping environment. On the other hand, the behavior of individuals in positions of authority, like Mike, can affect customer satisfaction and loyalty. I appreciate Gabby's exceptional service and hope that management will address the conduct of their team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers. Had the manager communicated this clearly, I would have made the purchase the previous day. Unfortunately, due to this delay, the sofas are now out of stock, and I have to wait until September for them to be available. Overall, I would rate Isaac, the salesperson, five stars for his excellent service. However, the manager's handling of the situation deserves only one star. A manager's role in a sales interaction should be to overcome objections and facilitate the sale, but that did not happen in this case. I have a strong feeling that if it weren't for Isaac, I would not have made the purchase. People buy from people, and Tony’s service was the reason I chose to buy. Neither my husband or I knew that if they left the table at our house the sale was final. The delivery man left the table belly up sitting on four of the new chairs. When my husband called me to let me know of the delivery I immediately called Ashley’s Customer Service to ask them to have the table picked up but I was informed they don’t take back used furniture. I let them know it wasn’t used, it had just been delivered less than an hour ago and it was fully assembled therefore we couldn’t use it.The answer was still no. I asked to speak to a manager. The transferred me to a supervisor and I was told the same thing. We couldn’t return it. I ask to speak to someone one in upper management but no one called me back. I went to the store after work and spoke to our salesman and he said there was nothing he could do. I let him know I wanted to speak to someone in upper management. He said he’d send an email but again no one called me back. I have make several calls but I get the same answer over and over and upper management never calls me back. Missing parts are due for delivery June 16th. Two months after original purchase. I can’t believe how inconsiderate they have been over this situation. Apparently Ashley’s doesn’t care much about customer satisfaction and the inconvenience they have caused my family. And to make matters worse I’ve actually made the first payment on something we can’t use. I will never ever step into an Ashley store again.
