Prefer to be left alone a little more but they weren’t there hovering so had a good experience picking out a couch with my son. App process was quick.

Usually I have a hard rule not to make big purchases on the spot... but Fernando was beaming with customer service and we locked in on the perfect bedroom dresser for my teen daughter. Ashley products are known quality and it was a bonus that the in person purchase was a great experience.

The sales person was very friendly and provided me with many styles for me to purchase a dining room table. She was very knowledgeable and gave me all my options. I purchased a table during my visit and I'm excited. Great customer service.

The salesperson was kind and helpful, answering any questions we had and not pressuring us to purchase anything. We ended up buying the bunk bed we needed at a great price!

Lisa killed it with us!! We walked in knowing what we were looking for to replace mom's living room furniture. Lisa introduced herself, gave us the quick talk, and then left us to look around to see if they had the furniture. We found what we were looking for and went to find Lisa. Chatted with her awhile, but needed to go back to the house to get one measurement. Returned the next day after reaching out to her the night before to make sure she would be working. After letting her know we were wanting to pay cash, she worked her numbers and the deal was amazing. Purchased a sofa with reclining ends and a recliner. She added in a 5 year protection plan, plus delivery and the deal was too good to say no. Let her know it was definitely going to be cash, brought us over to her manager, and made the purchase. Have to say, we were not expecting the deal and will definitely go back to Ashley's if we ever need anything in the future. Quality furniture and, in this case, a great sales lady.

It took me over two months to find the perfect sofa. So, I decided to head to Ashley’s store, knowing exactly what I was looking for - a modular (sectional) sofa. When I arrived at Ashley’s, there was already someone waiting outside, Francisco. I had asked if they were open, and he said, “We’ve been waiting for you, come on in!” When walking in Francisco welcomed us inside the store ready to assist us. Francisco was super helpful. He asked us questions to make sure we were on the same page, and listened carefully to what we wanted. The best and favorite part was the demo 3D-printed sofa piece, which was so helpful to express a visualization of what I wanted. During the process of browsing, Francisco gave us an opportunity browse alone to see all the sofas they have in store where can sit on each sofa to know what material and cushion we wanted. Francisco also gave us all the details about what Ashley could and couldn’t do. Luckily, they had exactly what we wanted! I bought the sofa and left feeling super excited.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience. I purchased a couch and TV stand totaling around $8,000. I was told delivery, setup, and plan protection were included as a “deal” — not something I would be charged extra for. After getting breakdown of my total. I found out I was added $500 for delivery, and the protection plan was in fact not free how she made it seem, it’s actually part of the salesperson’s commission (which explains why she was so pushy about adding it- yes they get paid to add it!!) I agreed to a delivery date, only to be told the items were out of stock and delivery would be delayed. Why sell items that aren’t even available? They tried to schedule three separate deliveries for four items — completely unreasonable. I managed to consolidate into two dates, but it was a headache. The worst part: I was told my financing came with a 72-month (6-year) no-interest plan. I trusted the salesperson’s word and signed without reading everything — big mistake. I just made my first payment and found out every card I was signed up for has interest! This experience has been a nightmare. The customer service is poor, the information given was misleading, and the entire process felt dishonest. Do yourself a favor: read everything carefully, get it in writing, and better yet — stay far away from this unprofessional store. They will reply saying sorry for your experience give us a call and they will be no solution. Stay away!

I purchased a full bedroom set from this location to include a new mattress and a few months later the bed frame broke. I have been communicating with Ashley’s Customer support for about 5 months with no resolution. They continue to ask me for photos and give me the run around every time I call. I went to the store to speak with MeeMee who is the person who sold me the bed set only to be dismissed, disrespected, & ignored by him. Till this day my bed frame is still broke and on bricks. Please avoid this location by any means and buy elsewhere.

We had an excellent salesman, Tony Hernandez. Very knowledgeable and very nice and polite. The couch looked great and the extra warranty was well explained and we bought that.

I had a great experience at Ashley. This was my first time buying from a furniture store so I was a bit nervous. Mike E. was incredibly personable, helpful, knowledgeable about styling, materials, colors, and upfront about pricing. No pressure to purchase other items. Overall a wonderful experience despite being under renovations, and I would definitely go back.

Walked in to look at some bed sets and just utterly harassed by salespeople. Within 5 mins I got 5 different people asking me if I need any help. Walked out of there once it got ridiculous. They scare shoppers away especially those who just want to see different styles, colors etc

Went shopping for a mattress. They wanted to sell me a mattress and adjustable frame for just over 2000.00 dollars. I went to Macy's their price for the exact same mattress was the same but the base is free. I now see Ashley furniture has a huge markup and a sales force more than willing to swindle unsuspecting customers out of their money. Stay away from Ashley Furniture.

If I could give negative ⭐️‘s i would. Absolutely disgusted by the dishonesty and scam Ashley is promoting with their protection plan. I was sold a couch in 2022 and added the protection service because the sales associate told us it would be “no problem” and covers most issues (accidental rips, stains, punctures, etc..). The first time the service technicians came for our claim - they didn’t do anything with the couch - they disrespectfully walked all over our carpet with shoes and on top of that refused to replace our couch that had well documented accidental damages. Come 2025 - we submitted another claim for a puncture and ripped cushion and now the service rep is asking if I have a copy of the “terms of service” after putting me on hold every 2 minutes and going to their supervisor so they know what to say when denying the claim. Beyond angry and disgusted at the dishonesty they stand by - do not shop here and do not get the protection plan.

Hope Griffis was amazing. She helped make this a fun and fast experience. She helped to find the perfect sofa for my living room. She also knew I was busy on this day and helped to make this purchase happen fast. Hope, I wish you success with your career at Ashley.

The service was exceptional! When we walked in, we had an idea of what we wanted but weren’t sure we saw anything on display that did it for us. But Ruby the interior designer really took her time with us and listened to the vision I had in mind and inspired boards. She was able to help us design our perfect space and recommended a bedroom set we fell in love with! Delivery was phenomenal as well. Our delivery drivers really took care of our furniture and set it up perfectly. Seriously 5/5 stars, no hiccups.

We were just in the store a few weeks ago to buy a bed, mattress, and a couch. We have not bought furniture in quite a while. We loved that our sales person was very quick on finding us the items we were describing but when it came to costs of items, I felt like we were being rushed. We also had a toddler with us that was tired so that also pushed us along. I asked a few times what the price was for an item and I got a response of "we will get a low monthly payment." Figured I'd ask again anyway before we did final signing for financing. At the end when discussing finance options, he shared our monthly payment. I still had to ask to see the bottom line total and it seemed like the sales person did not want to share that information with me. Eventually he turned the tablet he was using around. Once we reviewed the prices, we signed away for financing. Today, I'm looking at our total billing and it doesn't match the total of the invoice. There is an extra cost that was not described during the transaction and it's a promotional fee of 2% of total invoice. This wasn't discussed with us at all when we were shared the details of the promotional deal. Not knowing at the time, we signed with that in smaller print not realizing that was part of the deal. I wish the sales person would have been more open about the full details, costs, and what we would be expecting to see on our first bill. I do not plan on going back to this furniture store again in the future as it just seems like shady business. I get they might be paid on commission but I feel taken advantage of. I'm pretty sure if it's not known at the time of signing, they do not tell any customers and just expect them to sign. Just know there may be hidden costs in promotions so please ask and be aware before signing.

I recently visited Ashley furniture on I-10 Looking for a sectional. This was my 5th or 6th furniture store, but it will be my FIRST stop when looking for furniture in the future. The sales person (Andres R.) was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He patiently worked up the cost at my request on multiple sectionals. Once I had picked a sectional, I liked working with Andres that I went ahead and purchased a dining room set.

Went here for a new dining table. Worked with Ashley, she demonstrated the butterfly table. Loved it so much we bought it that day. Financing was super easy to set up and she showed me how to use the app to make future payments easier.

Our sales representative, Dan, was phenomenal. I appreciate his focus on our needs & not trying upsale. He was knowledgeable, friendly & efficient. We went in knowing what we wanted and got everything sorted out within an hour. Ashley furniture has the delivery scheduled for this Friday! Grateful we aren’t waiting months out.

Great experience

I had a great experience with my salesman. We got the deal we wanted and all was well. After we left the store my wife and I decided to add the matching dresser to the bed and night tables. I called my salesman and we agreed on a price over the phone, he sent me an invoice to pay online for the additional dresser. After a few attempts, I called him back at the store explaining it wouldn’t accept my payment. I ask if I could give someone at the store my payment info and he said he would ask his manager. I had met her at the store earlier, he told her I was not having any luck paying online to which she said it’s his problem, other customers are not having any issues. I ask if I could speak to her and she refused, again I could her what she was saying because I was calling on the salesman’s cell phone. She wouldn’t talk to me. I drove back to the store and paid the additional invoice for the dresser. At that time I was told that other customers were having the same problem while trying to pay online. My total bill was over $6000.00 and a manager wouldn’t talk to me!!! If she had got on his phone, said she understood my problem but they were having technical problems with that system I would have been ok. I am not happy with her attitude and my furniture won’t be delivered until June, which gives me time to think about how I was treated by her and I may go to another furniture store and buy from them and cancel my order with your company. There is no excuse to be rude to a customer especially when it’s your system that won’t allow me to pay you!!! But my sales person was great, he apologized for his manager, tried to resolve the issue as best he could!!!

Great Memorial Day sale. Found just the right living room set at a great price and delivery in 5 days. Norberto was professional and gave us several options that saved us money.

One of the worst furniture shops we ever visited. We went there to buy a desk , the agent assigned with us was helpful, but it took at least 4-5 hours and multiple visits for us to order the item from the store. The manager of store( Azimi) acted really unprofessional and did not follow any basics of customer service. Finally the order did not deliver as promised on the date planned and we received no updates. We reached out to store over phone, in-person at the store and all we got was they don’t know how it got cancelled and will let us know over the phone. We waited again for 48 hours and no updates. Never going back to this Ashley store. Waste of time and effort.

Dear Ashley Furniture I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your store. Unfortunately, the information I was given prior to my purchase did not align with what actually occurred once I arrived. I was initially told that delivery would either be free or cost $99. However, I was charged $209. I was also informed that I would receive 60 months of no-interest financing, but was only offered 12 months. These discrepancies are unacceptable and feel misleading. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional behavior from two individuals named Mike, both of whom were dismissive and rude. When I expressed my concerns and considered walking out, they showed no willingness to assist. I ultimately stayed because I had promised my daughter a vanity. To make matters worse, I never received an email receipt for my purchase. I was later sent a 10% off coupon to be used on a Tuesday, but since I was in the store on a Monday, I was simply told to come back the next day. This lack of flexibility and care for the customer experience was very disappointing. Given these circumstances, I believe I deserve a resolution. I respectfully request a review of my delivery charge and financing terms, and I would appreciate receiving my purchase receipt via email. Thank you for your attention to this matter. When we walked in the salesmen in the front literally turned their back to us and walked away. Not even a simple greeting or anything. The salesman who ended up helping us with our purchase wasn’t either of the two at the door at the time. Incredibly disappointed with how we were treated especially since one of the men in the front looked Hispanic as well. Won’t be returning here again.

Mimi was very helpful and really knows his stuff! Walked in looking for a desk, ended up with an adorable reclinig loveseat and a sectional.

We purchased a tempur-pedic mattress and base a few months ago from Ashley Furniture. The delivery guys were helpful to get it all set up the way we needed it done. We were very happy with the customer service. Our delivery today was another temper-pedic base purchase for our other mattress. We are elderly and my husband has lung issues. It is very difficult to lift heavy items. The salesperson did not tell us that the delivery guys would not help us. I had to move the old base and mattress myself and will now have to put the mattress over the newly purchased base because they said they could not help with the mattress. This lack of care for customers is very disappointing.

So far my rate is a 2. I waited 2 weeks. And my furniture arrived wrong, the person who helped me order the wrong pieces. Then dining table chairs were missing under parts so it was uneven. The couch came with a speaker ( and its fully broken inside). So now im awaiting for new pieces and new exchanges.. pick up and delivery... this was no where what i expected. I hope 2 god it doesnt take another 2 weeks. I will change my review after situations fixed up. Delivery men were very nice people as well. Couch is nice its just not what i ordered. We spent 5k on a couch and was told by our sales rep Noberto that we would get the white glove service and have them deliver it to our house and place it where it needed to be and set it up. Come delivery day they drop the couch off in boxes in the middle of our kitchen and tell us they don’t do set ups and don’t do lifting up the stairs and have essentially screwed us over. We have called corporate and even went to the store in person and we’re basically told yes the sale rep screwed up and only rang it as a delivery and not set up and they can’t send anyone out! We have been stuck with this heavy furniture sitting in our kitchen rendering it useless for the past week! We have bought several items from Ashley and have never had a problem like this before. We’re very disappointed and disgusted in this company and will never buy from them and will urge everyone to stay away!

I went in with what I wanted and Brandon was very helpful with helping me select a modular sofa that I can add on to in the future.

I took off a star solely for communication with the scheduling and delivery team. Our communication with the sales rep, Maria, was great! She listened to her wants and needs, and kept our visit efficient by showing us what we were asking for, and keeping paperwork, short and sweet. However, the miscommunication started there. We requested for further communication to go through me, as my partner would be out of town and we did not want him to facilitate communication for the delivery from out of town. This did not happen, and all scheduling texts and delivery calls were sent to my partner, after we had requested twice for his number not to be contacted. The delivery team arrived nearly an hour before the 3-hour delivery window, and expected us to be ready for delivery or we would need to reschedule. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier between us, and we were not able to communicate well enough to find a solution to these problems. They expected us to be available as soon as they arrived, and we were not, given that all communication was going to my partner OOT and the delivery team arrived outside of the delivery window. Thankfully our furniture was delivered in great condition, and functioning correctly! For future deliveries to outlier locations, I recommend asking the customer if they would prefer delivery at the beginning of the window or the latter half of the window, and ensuring the delivers arrive within the window, not before or after.

It’s unlikely I’ll ever again buy anything from this furniture store that doesn’t know how to assemble the items they sell. Same thing happened when they assembled my son’s bed drawers 2 years ago. Just noticed the armrest supports after they were delivered less than 30 mins ago. Any damage caused by the flawed assembly will result in a call to the store. Delivery guys were great.

I like the selection at the Ashley Store—lots of nice pieces, and the prices are pretty decent for what you get. They’ve got a good variety of styles, and it’s easy to find something that fits your taste and budget. What I didn’t enjoy was the overall shopping experience. It felt a bit like being at a car dealership. The salesperson was trying to work out a “deal,” and when I didn’t commit right away, a manager came over with a “very special offer”—but only if I bought right then. That kind of pressure made me uncomfortable, so I left. I’d much rather have someone available when I need help, but not hovering over me the entire time. Let me browse, let me think—it makes for a much better experience. If they adjusted their approach, I’d definitely consider going back, because the furniture itself is worth a look.

Went to see about a new couch and recliner. It was very low traffic inside the store for visitors at that time. Salesman was typically like a new car salesman, a bit pushy. But then again some personalities normally are like that. So I brushed it off And kept working with him. His sales manager was extremely nice and closed the deal. Do NOT use this store. They (Aaron the salesperson) sold us furniture in preparation for our move. After confirming the order many times, the day of the scheduled delivery, we find out it is being delivered to the wrong state. And in fact, they are not able to process deliveries in our region. The store would not answer our phone calls for trouble shooting. When we finally reached them, I was promised a call from a manager before close. After another twenty four hours of no contact, I called the customer service line and after an hour on hold, they informed me the store had cancelled the order. We have now been without furniture in our new home with nothing but an eventual "sorry" from the manager. If you are looking for a reliable, communicative furniture company, save your time and money. We've had many great experiences at Rooms To Go.

I will never buy from Ashley again. We have had a horrible experience as far as shipping. We were assured over and over again that our delivery would be prompt and hassle free. This has not been the case by any measure. We ordered our items a month ago. The first deliver we received was our couches and table. We were not delivered any chairs with the table.(kind of like buying a car with no tires.) We were told that the chairs would be delivered on a second delivery date which took about a month to get scheduled. Once the chairs finally arrived we were told that only 4 out of the 6 chairs were being delivered. The delivery driver told me personally that the attitude of the ware house employees was lack luster at best stating that they just shrugged their shoulders and said "They might accept it" this is an outrage as Ashley has had ample time, over 30 days to be exact in gathering all of the items I ordered and delivering them as promised. Now, we have to wait till April 25th to receive the other two chairs. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am after spending $4,500.00 CASH! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ASHKEY AGAIN.

I spent over $15,000 at this store, buying a bedroom set, living room set, and dining room set. I was provided a "loaner" living room set due to mine not being available. The set included a sofa, love seat, and chair. When they finally had the set I had ordered ready 9 MONTHS LATER, they delivered my sofa and love seat, picking up the loaners but did not deliver my chaise. When I went to have the issue resolved they said it was too late because I waited more than 3 days to notify them after they were delivered(even though they took almost a year to have my set ready) and the delivery driver did not notify them of the issue as well. So I still have the loaner chair sitting in my storage and never received my chaise that I spent $489 on!!! They said they don't do loaner sets which is a complete lie because I still have the chair and showed them pictures of the couches I ordered next to the loaner chair which obviously don't match. Apparently this is a frequent occurrence with Ashley's. I thought spending thousands they would offer to deliver the correct furniture or offer a refund at the least! I just want my complete set that I paid for!! Do not buy furniture from this store!!!

I made a $20k+ purchase the end of September 2024 and have had the WORST experience. First the employee opened up 7 lines of credit under our name without telling us!! When they delivered my dining room table it was damaged. I have been trying since then to get it replaced. Then, the chairs for the table have not been delivered. The employee “forgot” to order them, then lied about it when we went back to the store in December to see what was going on. A “manager” there approached us and when I told her the issue, she was so rude and condescending. She told me that if I didn’t like her resolution to get out of her store. I waited to see if I could get help from someone else in which a real manager helped me and promised me I would have no further issues. Up until today, I still have no chairs for my dining room. We weren’t able to host any holidays, we can’t sit down and have dinner all because Ashley has chosen to ignore it’s customers. All they care about is making their money. They make sure they bill me every month. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. They are nothing but liars and thieves.

I informed them of what I wanted, and a comfortable payment range and they helped make it happen. The thing that stood out the most and made it a great experience was that even though they are in sales, they didn’t try to sell or upgrade me to something I didn’t want or need. They were both very professional and informational from the start until the day of my delivery. Whenever I had questions, they responded promptly and gave me an update pertaining to my delivery. Because of these gentlemen, I see myself going back to this store whenever I am looking at a future purchase. I know that I’m valued, I’m heard, and most of all not trying to be sold something because of their interest, but for mines alone.

I purchased a small, $200 piece of furniture and had it delivered. I know Ashley gets criticized for being a lower quality furniture store, but my experience was surprisingly positive. The attendants at the store were friendly and helpful and not pushy. The automated delivery notifications were actually very helpful. I got regular text and email updates on the status of the delivery, an automated message when the truck was 1 hour away, and then a phone call from the driver when they were 10 min away. The delivery personnel were friendly and professional and placed the piece of furniture exactly where I asked. I've only had the piece of furniture for a day, but so far it appears to be exactly what I ordered.

Dishonest sales tactics. They pushed a third party lease option on us since we were getting ready to close on a new house. Said its only 1 dollar down to order your furniture and if you pay it off within 30 days then you won't pay interest. This is a lie. The company charged me an extra 600 dollars to pay off the agreement early, which was done the day after delivery. Will not do business with these pushy and dishonest sales people again.

Update#2: Rating this store back to ONE STAR where it belongs—right next to expired yogurt and printer paper that jams on purpose. After some deep investigative work (aka sitting on my couch and falling through it like a cartoon character), I discovered these geniuses decided to use FABRIC—yes, fabric, like the stuff your grandma makes curtains out of instead of WOOD for the base of the sectional. Not the cushions. The base. The thing that’s supposed to support human beings and the occasional dramatic flop. This isn’t a couch. It’s a soft trap. A betrayal disguised in upholstery. Oh, and the warranty? Turns out I paid actual money for a piece of paper that basically says, “LOL, good luck.” Apparently, it covers nothing. Including my broken trust. In summary: zero stars if I could. I’ve had more support from a folding chair at a kid’s birthday party. Update: A Plot Twist! Angela from customer service swooped in like a customer service superhero within an hour of my original one-star review—cape, headset, and all (probably). She worked her magic and got new cushions ordered for me as a courtesy, proving that Ashley actually does care about their customers. As for the tear in the base of my couch, I was advised to file a claim with their extended warranty company, Protect All. So, stay tuned—this saga may have another thrilling installment. I’m happily upgrading my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Massive shout out to Angela for making things right! Fast forward four years, and my cushions have sunk deeper than the Titanic—except no one's making a blockbuster movie about this disaster. Every time I sit down, my soul takes damage akin to a boss fight in Dark Souls, all while reminding me that I paid the price of a decent used car for what is now a glorified pile of fabric and regret. The best part? Their salesperson assured me that the warranty totally covers sagging cushions—how comforting! Except when I actually called to file a claim, the warranty team essentially laughed in my face and said, "Oh no, we don’t cover that kind of suffering." So if you're in the market for a couch that will age like a Hollywood horror villain and customer service that gaslights you harder than a Victorian-era ghost, Trashley Furniture is the place for you!

So my wife has been having me bounce around from mega furniture to some San Antonio warehouse, then star furniture right across the street, but I am glad that we walked into Ashley’s home store and was greeted by Francisco because he made our purchase easy and actually enjoyable. You don’t always buy furniture but when you do you want it to be a pleasant experience and that’s what it was. Francisco‘s attitude customer service is above and beyond anything I ever experience buying furniture in my 40 years here . Again, if you’re looking for furniture, make sure you reach out to Francisco guarantee you’ll walk out happy .

Me and my husband had a good experience coming to this Ashley home store we’ve been looking for furniture, a dining table bouncing around to different stores and we finally decided to come to Ashley’s and our sales person Francisco was great. His customer service was awesome. His deals were great. We came out of the store happy and satisfied we found what we wanted .. I’m going to give Francisco five stars customer service. Another furniture store taking your money and then not delivering. Literally. Long story short, I'm a transplant patient that just needed a comfortable recliner to elevate my feet and legs. I was assured that the delivery would be made and I even purchased the warranty since it was a floor model and all I could afford. Day of the delivery while at the hospital for a paracentesis, the company called and said the chair wouldn't be delivered, and would be another couple of weeks. After having already rescheduled three doctor appointments to fit the delivery window, I'm done. Once again, Ashley proves they don't care about customers after they grift you. Stay away. Far away.

We have used Ashley furniture for many years in various states and never experienced any issues. However, we experienced some extremely bad customer service at the Ashley furniture store off of I -10 in San Antonio. We bought some furniture and a rug in November 2024. The furniture showed up, however, the rug did not. We made multiple calls regarding the missing rug and kept getting bounced around from one phone number to another. We eventually went into the store in January. They had no idea where the rug was at and said we had to take it up with FedEx since that’s who was delivering it. We did not think this should’ve been our responsibility since we ordered it from the store. So we asked for a refund. Needless to say, it’s been well over two weeks and no refund. We have called the store multiple times regarding this and once again kept getting bounced around from one phone number to another along with no one returning our voicemails.

My wife and I came in to purchase a power recliner. We were met by a nice gentleman. We told him we were here to purchase a "tall and big person" recliner as shown on website. He showed us some units, and saw one floor model and also a dual motor recliner. He gave us a cost and said e then he would confirm prices for both. Came back with a higher price, but said he would see about cost since buying both. Came back where additional costs almost doubled purchase. I said I did not want to be nicked and dimed like this. He spoke to a so called manager who came to us very smuggly. He began talking down to us, and said we can always just buy them with no protection. Intimated that unless we agreed we would be buying furniture with no warranty or support. All the while looking at us like we were trash. We were paying cash for everything, but after meeting him we walked out. Told him he was reason we were leaving with no purchase.

Ordered a kitchen table/chair set and one of the chairs was delivered defective with one of the legs about 1/2 inch shorter. Notified Ashley day of delivery and was told "we'll make it right." This consisted of punting us to their warranty number which is abysmal. Multiple phone calls being told "the part was shipped" with no tracking information and parts never arriving. Every time you call you start over as they clearly aren't documenting or actually ordering anything on the back end. Take your business elsewhere. This store does not stand behind their products.

Went to Ashley’s furniture to browse around off I10 first person who greeted me was Ruby. Very very nice young lady. I told what exactly I was looking for she pointed me straight to exactly what I needed a financed me right there. My beautiful furniture gets delivered Saturday. I have had a nightmare of an experience with Ashley Furniture. I ordered a couch, but it was damaged upon delivery. We created a warranty claim, and it’s been months, couch still is not fixed. We have asked to just return the couch, but all sales are final, even if they are damaged upon delivery. Every week I call, sit on hold with Ashley DSG, and hope that we can get the warranty work scheduled. We are incredibly frustrated and disappointed.

Decided to buy a new couch & possibly an accent chair on a whim this weekend. Came into Ashley and was not acknowledged by multiple salespeople upon entering, despite making direct eye contact with at least 4 male associates, all standing around without customers looking lonely and lost. Made it all the way to the back of the store before someone acknowledged our presence. They didn’t offer to help, just said hello and advised us to keep looking and trying out couches. He said something about, “And whoever greeted you at the front can further assist.” I said, “Well that’ll be hard— since no one did.” He laughed awkwardly and that was the end of that conversation. Awesome, so helpful. I normally leave places immediately when they can’t be bothered to greet people of color in their stores, but I decided to try out a few pieces and buy online IF I found what I liked. The couch I really wanted was out of stock at Pottery Barn, so the next best choice is an economical one until I can get exactly what I want, ergo Ashley. Then Mayra came around. She was the first woman salesperson we saw, too. She was super helpful, gave insight on a few pieces, and I ended up purchasing from her. I hope management or the necessary people read this review and correct their salesperson’s behavior. If I hadn’t been in with my child, I would have made a bigger deal about this while in store. Three stars for Mayra, because I *want* to give 1.

Just left this location and it was due to the fact no one cared to help us. My husband and I went in looking for a new dinning room set and bedroom set and not a single person came up to us or even greeted us. There were people that came in behind us and a sales associate greeted them and asked what they were looking for and yet we didn’t even get a hello. Multiple associates walked past us that didn’t seem to be helping anyone and couldn’t even ask if we were finding everything ok. I felt extremely profiled that maybe we didn’t have the money because of how we looked (we were in relaxed clothing and have a decent amount of tattoos). Will not be returning or doing any business here.

Just purchased a new sectional today from Maria, who took her time and totally considered my wants and needs and specifications with what she showed me. She was personable, patient, very empathetic and so helpful. She made me feel like more than just a customer. Tyler in the financing section was very knowledgeable, very kind, and showed me lots of options to fit my budget. Incredibly helpful. Neither pushed me out of my comfort zone to upsell - they just gave me options and accepted my decisions. I hope I can purchase from Maria and work with Tyler again in the future!

Some items were shipped within a decent time frame while others took months. And when they did arrive, some of the items (barstools and console) were damaged. When I called the store where I purchased the items, they could careless about my problems and told me to call their customer solutions department and file a claim. Then, when they tell you that an item will be shipped to your house on a certain date, they call/text you 2 days before delivery that the item is on backorder and will take another 2-3 weeks to get. And every time I call the customer solutions number and ask for a supervisor/manager, they say one is not available and they will have one call you back in 24-48 hours. And of course, that never happened. Once they have your money, they don't give a (you know what) about you. Their customer service is garbage and their quality control is even worse. I wish I could give a negative star rating. Do yourself, and your sanity a favor, don't buy anything from this worthless company.

Ask for Rubi! She was phenomenal and even though we were not ready to buy she gave us all qoutes and info was sent through text. Fast forward to today, she immediatly responded to my text and I swung by. She had all my info and I inquired about a promotion. They were able to give me the 25%. I also got instrest free!! I'll be returning to her to buy our next pieces for our new home.

Our floor salesperson (Mike) was extremely knowledgeable about the products and did a good job of understanding the style of furniture we were looking for after asking a few questions. We had the pleasure of working with Mimi as well, who had an infectious energy and was very professional yet welcoming. We will certainly be back for our house furnishing needs in the future.

We came into the store today looking for new furniture for our new house. A man named Tony came up behind us and started talking to us about needing help. We understood this, as they work off of commission. Not even two minutes later, he came up to us again and asked if we needed help. We were getting a little annoyed because we had just arrived. We kept looking around, but as we walked, he followed behind us and stared at us. He then comes up AGAIN and tells us they are having a competition, and he wants to win. He said, "You are probably not getting anything today, but we have a competition going on right now, and I want to win a trip for my family to go to Six Flags, so if you could buy at least an ornament to help me win." We told him we would think about getting him to leave us alone. However, it was extremely unprofessional to ask us to buy something for his benefit. We were by far annoyed with him following and bothering us, so we headed to the door. He approached us again, saying the tree with the ornaments was over by the checkout. We told him we felt extremely pressured and uncomfortable, so we left. He said, "Well, I have been doing that the whole time". We said that was the problem. No one wants to look for furniture stores to be stalked and bothered the whole time. We would've come to him for help if we needed it, but he made us leave within 10 minutes of being in the store. We will never return to this store.

Terrible Customer Service and Broken Promises I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture. My salesperson, Dan, initially seemed very helpful when I purchased a bed that cost $1000 and matching lamps for over $300. I told him I’d be back to buy more furniture since I had just moved, and he was attentive and polite at the time. I received the bed a week later but never got the lamps. Dan assured me I’d have them in 1-2 weeks. After waiting for weeks, I went back to the store and spoke with him again. He said the lamps were coming from a different warehouse via FedEx and assured me they were on the way. While in the store, my husband and I were looking at a $2,000 table, and Dan was eager to make another sale. I told my husband we should hold off until we received the lamps because I didn’t trust them at that point. The lamps finally arrived on December 24, but when I opened the box, they were shattered into pieces. I tried to return them to the store that same day but found the store closed. I returned on Friday, December 27, and spoke to Dan, who seemed happy to see me (likely thinking I was there to purchase the table). When I explained the situation, his demeanor completely changed. He quickly pointed me to a customer service number, said, “We have nothing to do with returns,” and walked away, claiming he was with another customer. He didn’t even offer any additional assistance or options. When I called the number, I spoke with someone named Rachel, who told me, “We don’t do returns.” After pushing back, she said she’d talk to her manager and put me on hold. She eventually came back and said someone would call me to handle the return. No time frame, no resolution, just “wait for a call.” I am extremely upset with Ashley Furniture. I’ve spent a lot of money there and was planning to buy more, but this experience has completely changed my mind. They made the sale, washed their hands of the issue, and left me with broken lamps and no solution. They didn’t even offer to exchange them for floor models. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. UPDATE; Today is January 3rd 2025 and I am still getting the runaround from Ashley furniture in regards to the lamps I ordered. After I wrote this review I got an automatic message saying the owner wants to make it right and to call some number. Don’t be fooled by the response. I called the number it I didn’t get any help. It’s an automated system asking me for my phone number in which I placed my order at. It said it didn’t recognize my phone number for active orders and hung up on me. I called the customer service number and I got someone that finally gave me a ticket number and told me that I needed to send proof/pictures of the lamps being broken in order for them to help me. Mind you, I was never told that when I spoke with Rachel at this same phone number: I called Ashley furniture again and spoke with Bill and explain everything to him. I told him to please make things right and just give me the lamps I paid for. I told him I’d be ok with the floor models. He said he would escalate it to a manager and have them call me back.

Do not work with Jose Gonzalez, one of the rudest and most unprofessional sales representatives I have ever worked with. I am in sales myself and I would never treat a client the way I was treated. I have been an Ashley’s customer for many years, have bought most of all my furniture from them. Love the quality, but not the quality of this individual. I know the sales representatives work on commission, so I decided to come into the store, instead of shopping online, to purchase something simple. I already knew what I was looking for, it was going to be the easiest sale of the night for someone. I was welcomed by Jose, but I could tell this person was a bit off. He was furiously coughing, did not know where his tablet, laptop was, looked a bit disorganized from the start. He proceeds to take me to the back part of the store so we can complete this simple transaction. He jumps right into ringing up the item, not asking me if I was looking for anything else or if I had shopped with Ashley’s before. He gets the manager involved, they are able to give me holiday discount of $30, and I was very appreciative and was not expecting that. We get to our cashing out process of the transaction, and this is where it went downhill. Again as stated above, I’ve been shopping from Ashley’s for a while, so I am expecting to utilize my Ashley’s credit card. When Jose gives me the total for the purchase I give him my Ashley’s card to use. As rude as you can possibly, Jose tells me no you can’t use that card unless you are spending more than $399. I then proceed to tell him that online it was allowing me to put in my card, but I wanted to come into the store to give the sale to someone. He then is yelling across the store, “right we can’t use the card if it’s not x amount, right, right!” I then proceed to tell him, I can just pay for it out right, that’s not a problem. He then looks away, then leaves to go find a manager. When Jose comes back he then tells me yes we can put it on your Ashley’s card. I was confused how one second it wasn’t possible, and then the next it was. I then looked away and did not give Jose the time of day or my eye contact for the rest of the interaction. I was very short and wanting to get out of the store as quickly as possible. Jose rudely kept mentioning we will get you out of here as quickly as possible, also not making eye contact with me either. I will never ever work with that sales associate like that or be talked to in such a manner. Jose needs some coaching and development, or needs to pursue a different career other than sales. I also ended up paying full price for the item, not receiving the original discount given. Avoid this person at all costs if you shop at this location.

However this was not the highlight of the day, Myra who works at the store went above and beyond to help us pick just the right set of furniture. She was very knowledgeable of the products and was very patient, I would highly recommend when visiting this store to ask for Myra!!

He definitely sold us on the couch, I wasn’t going to get it but him and his family have the same one and he said they love it. Also I was worried about the light color (we have two dogs and a young child) and he assured me it can hold up. They have 4 kids AND THE COUCH IS WASHABLE!!!! How cool. Even though I did stop in there to look for a couch & bed i was shown a bed that fit better for me the adjustable bed but I did not realize I could get not just what wanted but what I really for my back problems.You have a wonderful staff of people knowledgeable they really worked with me to get me a loan that I could work so not stressed paying back my debit The delivery was Great in set bed up doing so professionaly

I might have set a record yesterday by taking a full lap and sitting on a couch for 30 minutes before someone asked if I needed some help. Usually the vultures are in full force upon entrance. Luckily for us, Francisco saved the day. My wife and I spoke about semi liking the Temmpton sectional but wanted to keep our options open. He asked if he could see what the best price was and my wife and I went into shock. We then talked about pairing it with a few chairs that we saw across the showroom and Francisco carried one (I carried the other) to the Temmpton sectional so my wife could see it together. I said add them to the invoice. We had a good laugh upon payment and then I said I wanted to check out the outdoor furniture. We ended up buying the Beachcroft couch, chairs and tables floor model. Great transaction and a nonpushy salesperson was rewarded. I’m still waiting to hear about the awesome deal I’m going to get on the Beachcroft sectional and table floor models so I can change this star rating to 6 stars!

Myra, was wonderful in assisting me with everything, also being patient and understanding of my wants and needs. The finance manager Kim was also great at assisting me and helping me get into what I wanted.

I’ll keep this related to my issue, but this company will absolutely rip you off with shipping/pickup options. I ordered a single piece of a sectional couch, and my only shipping option was to pay $200 and wait 2-3 weeks. Customer pickup was my other option, and I’m currently on my second attempt. The guy running the place the first time I came told everyone to get away from the door and he would get to us when he got to us. 1 hour later and they had helped two people. I’m in line right now, it’s been over an hour, and they are moving even slower today. They don’t want you to pick up your own stuff, they want you to pay their extortion delivery fees. Give your money to someone else, these people don’t care about their customers in the slightest.

Cannot give even a 1 star rating however had to give at least one star or could not submit review. The pick up was horrible. Informed warehouse and hour prior to presenting for pick up as requested to do. Once arriving, people uncaring. Waited in parking lot for 2 1/2 hours to receive product. Very unorganized and no customer service. Will not purchase from Ashley ever again.

Terrible service. Me and my boyfriend were just walking around literally not bothering anyone or doing anything just looking around and a worker came up to us telling us we have to be 18 or older to be in the store. I don’t think this is an actual rule but it didn’t matter because we are both over 18 and when we told her that she asked to see our IDs. I don’t think I’ve ever been IDd trying to walk around a furniture store but I believe this was a ploy to get us out of the store. We showed her our IDs and she looked disappointed like she wanted to kick us out and now she didn’t have a reason to. I’m not sure if this is because we looked too young to buy anything and they didn’t want us in there if we weren’t buying anything or if we looked too poor to afford anything there. Either way I think this kind of behavior towards customers is inexcusable. I think discrimination against anyone is wrong especially if it’s based off of an assumption that they might be too poor. Overall the employees were rude and unwelcoming and I had a terrible experience here. I think the attitude I received from these workers showed a lack of professionalism and represented poor company values. I hope they find new workers or reevaluate the message they are sending to customers.

Walked into Ashley at Fiesta JUST to look… right that’s what everyone does….I’m JUST looking… 🤣🤣. But I encountered Elexia Wiley and she rebutted all three of my excuses on why i wasn’t ready to buy the sectional of my dreams.. because I knew what I wanted, I knew what I was open to spending… and by gosh.. she listened, and she made it happen… I had no reason to say no. We were excited to furnish our new home and entrusted Ashley Furniture with this important purchase. We worked closely with Sadia to select three-bedroom sets, a dining table, and barstools. Unfortunately, what should have been a smooth and exciting experience turned into a frustrating ordeal highlighting Ashley Furniture’s poor business practices and lack of accountability. Upon delivery, we immediately noticed significant issues. One headboard was incorrect, and a rail for our full-size bed set was missing. The delivery driver assured us this was a warehouse issue and even provided a screenshot from their reporting system to confirm the rail was logged as missing. However, correcting the headboard issue required us to personally visit the store, as the delivery team could not resolve it. Two days later, we discovered the headboard they thought was correct was, in fact, wrong again. When we drove to the store to fix this, the manager was unavailable, and the salesperson, Philip, was dismissive, urging us to call customer service instead. While still in the store, we called the customer service number, only to be informed that only the manager could address the issue. Philip reluctantly took our concerns but assured us he’d follow up; he never did. When I asked if the manager could call us back, Philip bluntly said, “The manager is not going to call you; that’s not what they do.” We did, however, several days later, receive a call from another salesperson, Aaron, who promised to resolve the issue. My wife at this time met with Aaron in person to try and fix the problem. Although Aaron provided his number so that we could reach him to try and resolve the issue, he has been an unreachable. The lack of communication and accountability as been infuriating. After multiple calls to customer service (855-645-2388) and speaking with several representatives, we were assured the missing rail and correct headboard would be delivered on November 27. Tired of the endless back-and-forth, we reluctantly decided to keep the incorrect headboard to avoid further frustration. On November 27, the delivery team showed up with the wrong headboard again, and the missing rail was not delivered. The delivery driver called his supervisor, who stated there was no report of a missing rail in their system. I called customer service while the delivery driver was present, and they suggested exchanging the entire bed set. However, they told us the soonest this could happen was December 18—nearly a month later! Even when I offered to pick up the missing rail myself from the warehouse, I was told it wasn’t available. Ashley Furniture’s lack of organization, accountability, and customer service is shocking. What should have been a straightforward process turned into weeks of frustration, misinformation, and empty promises. This company’s poor leadership and disregard for customer satisfaction are unacceptable. I strongly advise against shopping at Ashley Furniture. Their terrible business practices are well-documented. In fact, there’s even a Facebook group with over 7,000 members experiencing similar issues. Do yourself a favor—shop elsewhere and spare yourself the frustration we endured.

I am not going back for sure. Their delivery process is a nightmare, that is after paying $170 for delivery! We were supposed to receive the second half of the order and when I called inquiring why it was not delivered! the answer was SHOCKING! the item that was received a day prior to the delivery date was defective and they did not bother to call and let us know; so I had taken time off work for nothing! The least they should have done is refund the delivery fee since they were not able to honor that delivery, let alone the terrible communication.

The store sales staff and manager never return phone calls. My delivery date has been delayed 4x since my purchase 2 months ago and no body locally or nationally will help or return a phone call. They don’t know anything. Quran was my sales person. He’d been there 3 months and knows absolutely nothing. The wrong items were delivered the first time and now everything is on back order until Dec 26. No one has returned my calls. I called today and was told the manager would look into it and call me back in 15 mins. That was over 3 hours ago.

Needed a new area rug and was able to take a floor model home with me. I love it!

Process on determining final price with discounts and financing took a little longer than I expected but was very much worth it. We got a very good deal, we were very satisfied.

I recently purchased a sofa in store and an ottoman online that the website said it was a matching item. Received the ottoman to find out it did not match like the website said. I called the customer support and sent in pictures as requested. They said manager would call me back within 24 hours. I call back after 3 days and they said that a replacement was ordered and I would get a call to set up delivery. Never got a call and called back after a week. I was told there were no notes on that happening and to send in pictures again. I sent them in and they responded that it was the correct one. I’ve emailed everyday for a week showing that the sofa and ottoman are two completely different styles and no one has responded. This company is terrible and charges high amounts for trash product and service. Don’t shop here.

Dan offered to assist me as soon as I entered the store. He was familiar with the recliner I'd seen on their website. Dan was friendly and explained the features and made sure it was a comfortable fit for me. Very pleasant experience.

Make sure to read the fine print as we were told we had 72hrs after delivery to return if unsatisfied;, however, this was just a lie by our salesman Brandon Barentine. Movers delivered the kitchen table and assembled but the table was wobbly. Movers informed my wife it’s normal and to just put some padding beneath it. After dealing with customer service, getting ever more frustrated, I tried asking to return it only to be informed of the policy once it’s delievered to address no returns. Returns only on undelivered goods. Of course, because who returns undelivered items that you’re excited to get!! People only want to return normally after getting the item and finding the defects and dealing with crappy customer service!of all the places I bought furniture from, while pcsing around the world, Ashley’s is the most busted FUBAR service I have ever dealt with!! Haven’t gotten into the cracks it came with! Again, do not listen to what they say, be more intelligent than me and read the fine print and know that you are not afforded any return policy!!! This was my first experience going into a store and buying a couch. I had Brandon as my sales representative and he was very patient and kind. I had him show me all of the sectionals that could work for the space I’m in and he happily led me to each one and was patient as I discussed with my fiancé the quality and what I liked and didn’t like. He even had a tape measure he was traveling around with just to make sure it would fit the space in my apartment. I feel I was a pretty demanding customer and he exceeded my expectations! Thank you for your patience and customer service!

My experience was something I was not expecting. My sales person was awesome to deal with and be around. Maria is and will be the only one that I will deal with. She made everything comfortable.

If I could post negative 5 stars, I would. I ordered a chair with specific instructions noted on sales order/invoice/delivery instructions that the chair was to be delivered in "doorstep" condition which means delivered in box and not assembled. I received a chair that looked completely used - no tags, the unders of the four legs were scratched and scuffed, and cloth looked used as well. I attempted to refuse delivery but the delivery company said "Oh, I already hit the complete button and cannot take the chair back". I have sent emails, called the local store, called corporate, etc. with no results and frankly, no customer service at all. Neither local, nor corporate Ashley, gives a darn that I did not receive what I ordered nor that I am extremely unhappy with what was delivered, mind you they did not follow their own instructions to deliver in box and what I received was in the complete opposite condition of expectation. No refund, no taking back of their sub par, poor excuse for a brand new chair, item. Never again. Ashley will never be a recipient (or thief) of my hard earned money again. Update - in response to the "response" from the company below - I have already tried that route for the last six weeks and am tired of running in circles and with hearing the finger pointing and "I'm sorry buts". Update 11/22/24 - After calling the number posted in the response from Ashley, AGAIN, the only "solution" was a replacement chair. Went down the road of clarifying which chair and what condition it should be in upon delivery. Refunds are not an option with Ashley - beware! Today, the replacement, which again, was to be in box, brand spanking new, not assembled, arrived .... you guessed it, assembled!! These folks cannot follow directions. This is the worst customer experience in recent memory!! Avoid dealing with Ashley Furniture at all costs. Update 1/28/2025 - After several calls with Ashley and Ashley management, I was assured that chair would be delivered in box as a refund as absolutely not an option and only option is to have the chair delivered again. Not surprised, chair was in fact delivered assembled. Here we go with calls to Ashley AGAIN. Please note this has now been a 4 month process and still not right.

What a great experience it was. From the moment I entered the furniture store until the end of my purchase. Maria was a blessing, Lexi manager was amazing and ACIMA were all so wonderful. They were all so quick and knowledgeable with the whole transaction.

there we two people who helped us and we were at the store for hours, came back and looked again. we selected something we hadn't even thought would work in our home...an impulse buy. unsure if i did it to just get out of there or if i felt pressure to purchase since they spent so much time with us. i really wish they could change their sales pitch to let the customer come to them to ask questions. but they get you when you come in the door, and keep up with you all they way! oh well. i have already made a place for my new chair but i have to wait two more weeks.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE purchased a new sofa from this location. Salesperson told us we were getting a huge discount and saved on our purchase. I searched online and found the sofa I purchased and realized I did not receive a huge discount. They charged me $349 for a 5 year protection plan in store but online it’s $149. I went back to the store the next day to ask why there is a $200 difference and I was told that the 5 year protection plan is not the same as the 5 year protection plan you purchase in store. Manager was trying to run circles around the reason and not give us an actual answer. Please beware of these salespeople, all they want is to scam you and make their commissions. Manager was rude and trying to push us out the door.

We had already visited two other big furniture stores in San Antonio and couldn’t find exactly what we wanted. Ashley was our final stop, and we should have gone there to begin with.
