Delivery takes a long time.

Joseph V. was a great salesperson to us... Gave us space to look, but was there if we had questions. He made buying a new sofa an easier experience. The delivery? Well, it hasn't come yet. Two days ago, I got a text and email confirming delivery. They never showed. I had to contact customer service and I have to wait a week... I have an empty room with nowhere to sit and I have to wait a week

Thanks to the guy that said I couldn't afford to buy. it's a good thing he said that I purchased a gel foam mattress and during the freeze the mattress was like sleeping on concrete blocks it take its form as I was using it, big mistake on my part for not taking this guys advise.

Don't buy from Ashley's. Been trying since October to file a claim or get my recliner replaced and nobody wants to help. They sell you extended warranty but they just take your money. Sent so many pictures so many phone calls and even went to store and talked to the person who sold me the furniture and said he would take care of problem and still nothing 3 months later. So don't buy from Ashley's they just take your money and offer no help. Next will be going to the local news and let them know how Ashley will not help and just take your money. It's been since October.

Ashly furniture has always been built to last. I have always brought all my furniture at Ashly’s. The sell reps take the time to explain the different type of materials and will show you the little things that makes their product stand out from the rest . Thank you Ashly’s Furniture.

Poor delivery. Delayed at least 2 times as of this review. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, then today, now Friday. Unacceptable

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, because to me that rating means truly terrible service. Unfortunately, this experience deserves it. We walked in simply to browse for a dining table—nothing more. At first, things were fine. We were greeted, told the staff we were just looking, and started walking around. Within five minutes, however, a very pushy salesperson approached us. Normally I shut that down quickly, but I wasn’t feeling great that day and let him continue. Eventually, we did find a table we liked, and at first glance the price seemed reasonable. While we were reviewing financing options, the salesperson would not stop pushing a couch on us. This is where I drew the line and clearly told him that was not happening today. We proceeded to order the table and six chairs and left the store happy with our purchase—though definitely annoyed by the aggressive sales tactics. The real problem started once I got home. Out of curiosity, I looked up the exact same table on the official Ashley Furniture website. To my shock, it was listed on sale for $150 less than what we had just paid in-store. Same table. Same brand. Same company. The chairs were also $25 cheaper per chair online, which added another $150 difference. In total, we were charged $300 more in the store for the exact same furniture. Apparently, that extra $300 was the price of listening to a 40-minute sales pitch. It also suddenly made sense why the staff was openly discussing how they would split their commission while we were sitting there. I immediately canceled the order and will be calling again to confirm, because I honestly do not trust this store to handle it properly. The salesperson did call me back, and I confirmed the cancellation with him, but I will only feel confident once I’ve spoken to the official number directly. If you decide to shop here, do yourself a favor: check the prices on Ashley’s official website before signing anything. Otherwise, be prepared to overpay for the exact same furniture while being pressured by aggressive sales tactics. Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.

Pick up at the warehouse was the worst experience I’ve encountered. I will never try to pick up again nor recommend it to anyone. Their system is unorganized and takes hours, if the line is long. The employees are not friendly or understanding for the time that a customer has to wait. I ended up having it delivered but I had to wait 2 weeks for my couch to arrive. Overall, I waited for about a month to receive my order. The sales representative at the store was very helpful and kind. She assisted with the process and followed up as I waited. I was very disappointed with Ashley considering the cost of furniture. It’s not cheap.

I really appreciate the customer service we received at Ashley from Bernadette and Adrian. After shopping at several furniture stores, the sales associates went above and beyond to ensure I was able to find the right furniture. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. They were knowledgeable, honest, and answered all our questions we had. They were patient as I was deciding what to pick. They even moved different pieces of tables for me and put it next to the sofa set to ensure it matched. I will definitely go back to the location off of Military Dr.

This is the worst furniture store ever.

Johnathan and James were great! Easy and fast process. Delivery was supposed to be Monday but actually got here Friday. So I had a good weekend to sleep in a comfy mattress.

No pressure sales

Good morning I am very upset at Ashley's furniture I bought a living room set when they dropped it off I noticed one of the recliners was making a weird noise so I called it in within 2 hours when they drop it off and the lady that answered said that somebody was going to come and pick it up or take care of it that never happened then I decided to call was in 3 days spoke to somebody again they gave me that somebody again was going to call me and then the third time I called they let me 45 minutes waiting and no results to this day I still have the broken recliner and so I don't know who is responsible for taking care of this problem I'm just upset at Ashley's furniture and I went there cuz I think they have beautiful furniture thank you anyways.

This is the worse recliner I have ever owned. I've had it a month and it is very uncomfortable. It is like sitting on wood. The local store refers me to the national. There is no recourse. I should have known that a furniture store that does not deliver or remove the replaced furniture would not offer much in the way of customer service. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for furniture. Update: ignore the response from "the owner". I got an automatic reply to my text providing no relevant assistance options.

The staff at the store especially Chris P. "Crispy " was very nice,courteous and professional. I will tell all my friends and family what a great shopping experience!!

I declined the additional expense for cleaning/repairing furniture, but sales representative still added it to purchase. He also informed me he would give me a small military discount and he didn’t.

Marcus was very friendly, helpful and explained everything to me in a way that was very clear. Would definitely come back and ask for him.

Do not shop at this store I made a purchase that they could not fulfill and a month later still have not received a refund. Have called and get the run around different story every time. Talked to Rob a supposed supervisor had no answers no resolutions and time line of when refund would be done. Basically told me to stuck it up and wait. Yelled at me because im a women. They will steel your money if you cancel an order they can't fulfill. Sale person Juan at the live oak location is who handled the deal didn't provide any information no help but definitely stolen my money. Bad customer service. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I rate them at -5 stars.

I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and respect with the representative Rudy who assisted me. I went to the store looking for a few items and I found everything I needed and then some. The store had everything you need with whatever budget you have. Although I did not use it, they also offered excellent financing for your purchase. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of furniture that they had on display for the customer. The best thing about my whole experience is no pressure sales. Rudy was extremely patient and answered every question that I had. I was more than happy to spend the money that I did in the store. I will be coming back to finish furnishing the rest of my house.

Went in with a couch I saw on their online website! Not only did they price match but I ended up with a better deal. Even if I didn’t get a better deal than the price match I would still recommend because the service was fast and they were friendly.

While the pricing was somewhat higher than expected, I had an overall excellent experience purchasing my couch. The sales associates were courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process.

I was walking around the store with my fiancé looking at sofas and coffee tables when I saw this reply cute round sofa, I was thinking about buying it the same day when one of your female employees came over to me and rudely told me to get off the couch because of what I was wearing! She claimed the I was attracting attention from Male employees and customers. I was wearing a mid thigh length shirt and regular t-shirt, and was sitting on my butt! I don’t know what kind of attention I was attracting but it did not call for your emotional to come over and say what she said to me, in front of my fiancé no less. If she had approached me with other intentions other than to verbally humiliate me and shame me for what I was wearing, I would be the first person surprised. I did not catch her name however, she walked away immediately after telling me I was attacking attention because of what I was wearing and pointing out male employees and customers I was “distracting”. She was rude and I was humiliated for wearing a reasonable outfit for the Texas heat.

I received excellent customer service from Mr. Miami. He explained everything in detailed to me. I was pleased. I left with a happy heart.

Horrible experience Not only did they get my address wrong after I confirmed it with my physical ID, they delayed my delivery for almost 3 months and even offered a $350 credit for the wait only to never honor it to begin with... They also didn't know any of their products because they gave me a twin xl bed cover for a king bed.. Expensive and horrible experience. Don't go here. By the way the person I worked with was Miami.

Quick turnaround

I went into Ashley’s furniture to take advantage of the sales for Labor Day weekend. I purchased a new home and needed all new furniture. I do not enjoy shopping for furniture because I am cheap. I like to save and I had a horrible experience buying appliances from Best Buy 2 weeks prior. Miami and Joshua were patient and helpful, offered suggestions and helped me pick out bedroom, dining, and living room sets for my 3,800 square foot home. If you are looking for quality customer service, knowledgeable and experienced business employees I would strongly suggest working with Miami and Joshua.

I was looking for a small reasonably priced sectional. I am elderly and on a budget. I am so grateful to Hector Femath and Lexy for going above and beyond to get me a lovely sectional that I can afford. Thank you. Ms. De Leon

Ok well the customer service was great. Got us the furniture we wanted at a great price, however the delivery fee was a bit more than what we wanted to spend so we decided to pick it up from the warehouse. Yes we were willing to drive to New Braunfels to get it. At no time did we get told that the mattress we purchased with the bedroom set wasn’t available for 3 weeks. We’re still in the process of rectifying this issue. Let you know how it turns out.

We paid for delivery the salesman told us they would take our old mattress. But they declined and we contacted customer service. They told us they dont take old mattresses but yet our salesman told us they would. Them taking our old mattress is the only reason we paid for delivery.

Miami Romos was the sales associate that helped us look for the perfect gift for our dad's father's/birthday day gift. He was very helpful and greatly helped us out by giving us a discount on the warranty. Very friendly, understanding and answered any questions we had. He gave us space and time so we didn't feel pressured or rushed to make a decision, which was much appreciated. 10/10 would love to have him help us the next time we want to buy something from Ashley's.

Political Views need to be kept off the business table. Mr Hector was wonderful and doing great until Mr Miami Ramos needed to come help with financing and sales. Mr Miami Ramos stated his political views which we ignored and proceeded with business but then again Mr Miami Ramos voiced his view on another political issue and that issue hit too close to home and made us uncomfortable. This showed a lack of professionalism and character.

Miami and Lexy assisted us with buying a new dining room table. They were quick and made the process extremely easy. 10/10 would recommend coming here for your furniture! These two are the A team!

On Sunday I called back to purchase the recliner and spoke to Miami. He was very helpful in walking me through the process of purchasing the recliner on line.

Miami was the best customer service person we’ve ever had anywhere. Perfect balance of giving us space and informing us. My wife has had pain in her shoulders and back from the mattress we’ve had for 3 years, Miami had the knowledge of how to tell if a mattress was good or not and she immediately felt a difference. We went to several mattress places when we first bought ours and none of the them knew how to help. If you’re needing to find a mattress for a specific problem you’re having, Miami is the guy to go to.

The customer service representative, an older gentleman, was friendly and helped me quickly get some furniture. However, he up-sold me quite a bit, which I understand is part of his job as a salesman. While I appreciate his efforts, I still didn’t appreciate the excessive up-selling. He did ask about my budget, so I guess I should have pushed back a bit more. Nevertheless, I’m giving a 3/5 star rating. The main reason for this is that I noticed a lot of scuffed furniture. But in the end, it was a decent experience & would recommend coming if you are looking for furniture at a reasonable price.

Hello. Our experience was GREAT! The only problem is that the nice Mr. Bennett told us to look around & make ourselves comfortable. We did, but as we were driving home, my wife suddenly had an allergic reaction to one of the pieces she sat on. She broke out in hives all over her body. Please look in to either cleaning the furniture in the showroom floor or please check to see how the furniture is being cleaned daily.

My person that helped me was Joe Balderas. He took the time to listen to my needs and had the patience to show me several pieces. Went in to price a recliner and left purchasing a sectional. Joey also helped out and those 2 got it done. Thank you for an awesome painless experience.

Have had good experiences with Ashley furniture in the past but nothing but problems since ordering from this location. Furniture arrived damaged and getting the run around. The sales rep. Javier advocated that ordering in the store vs online you have a better experience and less issues with delivery, and if unsatisfied or anything comes up give him a call. This is all proven to be untrue.He is unreachable and lied about the resolution and return policy. Would advise against shopping here, deceitful practices. This fraudulent and stinks badly. I will take this to Texas attorney General.

Currently just reached out to the Better business bureau and now writing to the local news outlet. I have emails dating back to September of 2024 I have been waiting for my furniture. They delivered a dresser and nightstand. I was told I would get the second nightstand and my bed at a later date. I still have not received it 5 months later in February of 2025. All I’m told is they scheduled it so it’ll come then the day comes and it doesn’t show. I am told I cannot return what has been delivered so I have no option but to wait or I would have a mismatched set if I bought the bed and nightstand elsewhere. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. My husband is disabled and our bed has been on the floor as we wait for our set. Ashley does not care about their customers.

I had to call corporate myself and tell them my situation and had to wait a few days again to get things finally settled..never again definitely go elsewhere

Ashley has real sense of humor in their hiring for sales people on the floor This particular employee is not what I believe Ashley would want representing them....this guy just kept following us even after we told him we were just looking cause we really didn't know what we wanted for our living room....so we find what we wanted and of course this guy is right there... this guy wraps up the sale in record time Doesn't explain the financing I asked him & he said all the paperwork is in your package I get home to read over the paperwork of course there was nothing in there.....this is the second time I make a purchase with Ashley and believe me will be the last....

We purchased a bed + mattress in cash back in November of last year. Miami was our sales guy and he was great…until he wasn’t anymore. He spent couple hours with us the day we made the purchase and sold us with the Black Friday sales they had at that time which included waiving the delivery fee of $300+ if we spent a certain amount of money, which we did. From here, everything went south and sorely tainted the whole experience with Ashley. Til this day, they have not held up their end of the full deal. Miami promised us that 1) our mattress would be delivered on a certain date. It definitely was not so we reached out to him the following day and he said he would get his manager to look into it and that someone might have messed up our order. We never heard back from Miami after this. The rest of our furniture was expected to arrive the following week. Due to the mixup and someone on their team dropping the ball with the mattress delivery, everything got rescheduled further out so they can deliver altogether. By that point the store manager, John reached out to us to help coordinate. He was helpful. He apologized to us for the poor experience and said he would issues us a full refund of the delivery fee $300+ AND an additional $200 for the inconveniences. At that point we realized Miami messed up and charged us that delivery fee when he wasn’t supposed to. We eventually got the refund of the delivery fee after John had issued it as a credit instead. However, til this day we have NOT received the remaining $200 that was promised. Additionally, when the furniture finally came, they were missing a leg for the dresser (which took another week+ to get re-delivered) and the bedframe had a defect. We informed John immediately of the updates and he said he would get on it. It took us following up with him days later for an update for us to hear back on anything. He blamed the third-party delivery service for the delays. Finally he put me in touch with the delivery company and they reached out to coordinate a delivery of the updated bed frame btw Christmas and nye. The day came and went. No one showed up. I have followed up twice since then via email with NO response. Since then I have reached out to the store manager requesting the $200 refund as promised and no response. This experience with Ashley has been a disaster. Highly don’t recommend due to the lack of communication and accountability.

I was so excited to be able to finally get a king size bed. I went to Ashley Furniture because well it's Ashley, the sales representative Miami and & Jose attended to us and we ordered the frame and matress...so we thought. We made an appointment to go in and sign the paperwork & I paid the balance for the matress, that i was told was not covered by financing, almost 900 dollars. We were ok with that because we wanted the bed and understood the rest would be financed. Come to find out the matress was never ordered and I only had a delivery for the base. I brought this issue up to the sales rep. he said that he was going to fix it but come Monday I called again and found that the matress was still not ordered. When I told the rep. that I was going to cancel the order because what am I going to do with a king size base and without a matress his response was "it didn't matter because the matress was never ordered and technically i didnt have to cancel it" he said he did what he was supposed to and blamed the corporate office for the matress not being ordered!! Then proceeded to say that I needed to sign papers to order the matress. I was completely baffled because I paid almost 900 dollars for what I thought was the matress. I was so upset how was I charged this money but the item was never ordered. I went into tbe store and spoke to the rep again about these issues. Regrettably there was no accountability, instead I was told that it was my fault the sale was bad because I didn't give him enough time. I asked for my money back and he said that i would get it back in 2-3 weeks. I asked for the number to corporate so I can follow up on the reimbursement but was told that even if I called them I would get the run around from them and would not be able to speak to anyone there either and would get the run around from them as well. As for my almost $900 reimbursement, they charged me $350 for a matress protector that is not reimbursabale and it is going to take awhile to get the rest back. I was NEVER told I was paying for the matress protector!!! was just given the protector and told to keep the matress protector on the bed for the warranty, not that I was paying for it!!!! I was lied to, taken advantage of and they basically stole from me.....I do not recommend this Ashley location to anyone. They only cared about the sale, not the customer or making sure the items were ordered and delivered. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE. I AM REALLY SAD ABOUT HOW THIS SALE WENT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. FYI THEIR RESPONSE BELOW IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE TO SAVE FACE....THEY DO NOT REALLY CARE.

Miami was amazing!! He was so patient with us as I was choosing a new sofa. He showed me all of the options that had the features I was looking for. He let us browse the inventory without pressuring us. We found the perfect sofa for our needs and he made the purchase easy for us.

James was very helpful and with his information (NOT UPSELLING) we decided on recliners that perfectly fit our needs and was over what we thought we would spend. So James did good for us and his store. It's a pleasure to do business with ASHLEYS and feel they are happy with our business.

Miami was great and was extremely knowledgeable in mattresses. So if you’re looking for a good mattress or even need help finding the right one I highly recommend him! The experience and process was simple and fast. He will educate you and make sure you are getting your monies worth! Update: guess he wasn’t the mattress expert he made himself out to be. Got a queen size mattress and king box spring. Now I will be having to drive to New Braunfels DC to pick up the correct box spring myself so close to the holidays. So if he helps you out be sure to double check the order yourself because my delivery driver is the one that caught the mistake.

Miami was a great salesman! He really knows his stuff and was great with my kids who tagged along. We felt very confident and comfortable in our purchase. He understood our budget and we did not feel rushed, or forced into anything.

When I entered the store. No one attended to me. I was there over 15 minutes. I had to find someone. He was nice and got the sale done. But delivery was set for a Saturday between 11 am to 2 pm. I needed another time frame. I was hoping for after noon. This was all done by text. No one called me. The next day I was sent another text to schedule by appointment. Again by phone. Now they tell me the delivery will take 8 days to get to me. I asked to speak to a manager. The young lady tried to get me over. I have been waiting over 20 to speak to their escalation team. So they have a lot of escalated calls. Not surprised. I’ve shopped at other furniture stores and I’ve been called and given options on the day to pick a time frame for delivery. I need the furniture by Saturday but after noon. They could make the delivery at 7 pm. I will still be here waiting.

Purchased a bedroom set for our daughter. To our surprise, we had to assemble the nightstand and the dresser. We have had to return and replace each one twice. And now putting the second dresser together and the same problem occurs to attath the drawer the sliding rails. Then they sent us a replacement nightstand and they gave us one that was already assembled, just to find out it was the one we returned. So they gave a new nightstand, which we need to assemble again, hopefully this one is not broken. This has been two months of calling, getting replacements, speaking to multiple customer services reps, just overall frustrating. NEEDLESS TO SAY LAST TIME WE WILL SHOP AT ASHLEY'S, AS LIFE LONG CUSTOMERS. ROOMS TO GO, YOU HAVE NEW CUSTOMERS HEADED YOUR WAY.

I talked to Joe B. I told him I was looking for 2 Power reclining loveseats with console for a maximumof $2000. He said he could deliver them for $2013. I accepted the the purchase. They were to be delivered between 2 and 5. They were delivered at 11:20 PM! And they were manual reclining. I didn't see the manual part until they had them in the house. I called to get the right ones. They were willing to exchange them for an extra $400 per loveseat. I said I really couldn't afford that to please just come get them. They said since they were already in my home they couldn't take them back!! They could exchange them, but couldn't take them back. I couldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Saturday experience was good.

We were told that the we could design our couch, needless to say the only 2 couches we liked were not customizable. (Figures) Then we wanted to have the couch delivered before thanksgiving and made sure to tell the sales person he assured us that the couch would’ve delivered this coming weekend. NOW ITS NOW GOING TO BE DELIVERED UNTIL THANKSGIVING DAY😡😡😡 so on top of the caos of 30 people in my house now we have to deal with a delivery as well😡😡😡😡😡.

We walked into Ashley Furniture on Military Dr. and we were greeted by Uriuel. He did an awesome job to help us find what we needed. Anthony Solis was so helpful and full of promises, we went back to the store, too many times and then confronted him once by the third time he wasn’t no longer there, and that was the way with a lot of the managers and salesman that we dealt with whoever told us one thing they were no longer working there it was such a headache ! Oh my goodness such terrible communication between the store and the warehouse it is ridiculous! We had to go up to the store more than 10 times in total since the end of October when we got our furniture, we were promised a resolution from day one and it took many months before we had to go up there for the last time late November and speak to the manager Juan thank goodness he was able to help us . There’s too many names to remember, but between three and four salesman‘s and managers that helped us and had us running in circles with frustration oh FYI glad the one in the doctor coat that he wears proudly that says therapeutic on it which is pretty cool he probably got there for being there a year or something kudos to him, but I really thought he was a doctor . I like the furniture, but not the hassle especially getting our furniture delivered in pieces and they never got with the warehouse to come and pick up a coffee table did they promised they would have them come get it that never happened because we didn’t want it after all and then we got charged for it ugh!!!! I’m glad the manager was able to get somewhere after all these months, but not worth the hassle and I would not want to go in the ring of circles with them again. I definitely would stay away from mega furniture too I t’s right around the corner and it’s best if you just keep on driving by. Please check the product before you buy it. Make sure it’s not wood that will break like a toothpick just saying that happened to us , If you buy anything from Ashley furniture get in writing and get copies of any agreements or photocopies, get business cards with their names on it that’s my free advice. This has been a whole unnecessary experience with this furniture store! From my experience PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Go to where customers are respected and treated well. From buying nice leather sofas, with massage chairs, heated and charging ports. Nice sofas until they started overheating and became a fire hazard in my home. But get this nothing could be done until they ordered parts first which would take a whole 3 to 4 months to receive. Which they don’t tell you that. Supposedly it’s supposed to take anywhere from 10 to 14 business days. Then they send out a technician to see if those are the parts or not. SMH! Ok so nothing could be done about it so they put in for a re-selection in the store BUT I can’t purchase clearance and it can’t be more or less than what my contract says. Ummmm ok.. so we re-selected and we’re given a date of delivery guess what I called to get I got on the delivery for that day and apparently they had rescheduled and never told me. Once I get them delivered, the delivery guys dropped the sofa. My adult child saw it with his own eyes. We reported it and the rep said well there’s no report on them dropping it… I’m thinking in my head “why would they report it?” Well another issue on the new sofas. When I called to report the issues and the rep even heard the sound coming from the love seat. Now this is what gets me so upset, they’re never on the same page. The rep told me she is going to send someone out first and also order the parts. She gave me a specific date and guess what. I was lied too again..till this day I’m waiting on parts waiting for it to get resolved. So never again! Please save your time and go somewhere where it’ll be worth it.

Just horrible. first, my initial order is rescheduled for an additional two weeks out. Then I get a call this morning letting me know that I won’t be getting it at all because it’s damaged and they also don’t have any more in stock. I leave out of town this weekend and now my house-sitter has nowhere to sit.Customer Service was a nightmare. Just go to Living Spaces. They’re the ones that are going to be saving me because I need next day delivery before I leave out of town.
