TrAshley 'Furniture' Lets build a timeline over the past month: 3/30/25 We order a set of two dressers and two nightstands for our childrens’ bedrooms. 4/8/25 It gets delivered and both dressers already are covered in scratches and dents. The delivery people leave, and a leg breaks off one of the dressers your apparent 'White Glove' service people set up not two hours later. Luckily it was my wife who caught it inspecting this sub-par piece instead of it falling on my four year old daughter. 4/9/25 We file a complaint about damaged ‘furniture’. Your ‘help’ line is about as useful as calling the store as we have multiple records of trying to get replacements and always got a run-around or no answer. 4.22/25 Hooray, after multiple calls, going into the shop itself complaining about a lack of any kind of competent service on damaged products, we finally get our replacements delivered. One of the dressers was more damaged than the previous and I told the delivery people to not even bother with the other and to pack it all back in the truck. That truck was also two hours late from the delivery window. I was told that now my case will be ‘VIP’ and its easier and quicker to leave the set here. Great ‘White Glove’ service. Hey, one of them did use a nice little marker to cover up the scratches so THANKS! That ‘case’ is still unresolved. 4/29/25 Today - No updates after reaching out multiple times over the past days, just smelly warehouse furniture not being used with our kids clothes in baskets because we don’t want this dinged up ‘furniture’. You have some bogus refund policy that we can’t just send this TrAshley ‘furniture’ back. We don’t want these damaged products that could of fallen down on my child, beaten up in general, and your customer service is as ‘White Glove’ as a dentist giving a root canal or a proctology office visit. We have the call-logs, E-mails, anything trying to get a hold and make it right, but you just don’t listen. I guess you are OK with selling a TrAshley product and support structure. Edit: HA! Thanks for the BS auto-response about calling your useless help line where we couldn't get any help before, trying to get a non-damaged piece of furniture, or any kind of assistance you sent to every other disappointed customer. I guess this garbage company already has their money so who cares? Hint: maybe invest in better delivery methods and not a bot or some worker drone giving the same canned responses to every negative comment of people absolutely dissatisfied. We'll still be in touch on the matter.

Absolutely APPALLING show by Ashley’s. We bought a powered sofa and loveseat from them in August. Turned out, they both did not fit so we swapped the loveseat for a recliner. “Dollar Bill” was supposed to update the order that same day. He failed to do so. Because of this, our order got delayed a week. When it was delivered, the delivery team was a joke. They took all the wrapping off outside and dragged the couch up the concrete stairs where we live and ended up ripping up all the fabric on the edges of the couch, and didn’t even have the recliner (which the delivery was delayed for). Also, because of the way they handled my furniture, the motors in the seats don’t work properly. They jerk and get caught when trying to recline. Called Ashley’s customer service/warranty the same day to report the issue after delivery left. Filed my claim, told to expect a call in three days. Didn’t get a call. Called again, turns out nobody filled the claim. So we file it again. Again, nobody called us. It took 5 different tries to even get the claim filed. We finally get parts ordered. Can’t set up appt for repair until parts come so we wait. Set up the appt, repair guy gets here and what do ya know… we didn’t get all the parts. He tells us he can’t help us because he doesn’t have the other parts for the entire order. Says he’ll order them and to reschedule. 3 1/2 weeks later, still no parts. Called Ashley’s, and they have no idea when we get the other parts. BUT. If we don’t get them before the warranty expires, then WE get to pay the extra $500 for the parts they did send. Ashley’s is a complete JOKE. This has been the most miserable buying process we’ve ever been through. Been dealing with this for 2 months and nobody seems to want to fix the issue. EDIT** The phone number provided to “remedy the situation” is useless too. It’s a just an automated chat system so you don’t even get to actually speak to anyone about the issues or have your concerns answered.

Bought sectional early June w/financing. Sales said delivery within two weeks & we’d get call to schedule. Gave us her phone number incase we had questions, concerns or needed help. No call, but texted to schedule (used wrong number, not primary on account), delivery dates were in a month, chose earliest in early July. Delayed until late in July. Delivery came. Piece was torn and only partial delivery. White glove service is screwing feet on crooked. Tried to call sales rep. Phone seemed disconnected but figured out to call twice in a row and it rang and left a message. No call back. Tried to get customer service. No option to talk to anyone in call and no way to get through to anyone at store. Eventually typed live agent in text convo and waited. Delivery was on phone with Ashley. Talked to rep delivery called, she thought that we thought the couch was used. Told her we didn’t think it was used, but it had a tear in one of the pieces and it wasn’t all there. Delivery told her we thought it was used, even though we had shown him exactly where the tear was. She didn’t want to listen and was very hard to talk to. Got a call back from typing live agent, someone else. Asked if I keep a partial delivery could I end up stuck with it if they can’t deliver the other pieces and he said potentially yes and I got him to admit that we should refuse entire delivery, even though he didn’t want to admit that. We refused it and told them to put no partial on it. We got delivery report, it had a very argumentatively toned portion that said the customer insisted that the couch was used even though it was new and in perfect condition. We never said that. Called sales rep next day. Answered “Hello”, rude tone. Had to ask if this was her. Changed her tone when I told her we were leaning toward canceling and told her what happened. She said she wasn’t at work but she would talk to her manager about compensating us and that they’d try to make sure we didn’t get the same delivery guys next time, I’d hear from her by 1 next day. Within an hour I got a call from a customer rep to reschedule. They scheduled it for Monday. Next day passed no call. Husband called her the next day. She said she was no longer with Ashley and would ask her manager to call us. No call. We pushed delivery back to give them chances to make it right. Monday delivery date gave no time to resolve anything which is also interesting that someone called and pushed that date on me. Tried to call, difficult. Automated system first and then push zero a whole bunch, doesn’t work consistently. Finally got through, customer rep got with her manager while on phone to compensate us by waiving the delivery fee. They said we’d get confirmation within 48 to 72 hours. Never got confirmation and pushed the delivery back again. Called them(difficult to get a person again, inconsistent) to ask about confirmation, turns out we’d have to wait two billing cycles for it to go on our account and they have no way to provide a confirmation, we just have to trust them. Nope we’re canceling. They said they cancelled and we’ll get a confirmation. No confirmation, we’ve talked to several people and they said we’d get a confirmation of cancellation and one finally admitted they don’t give confirmations of cancellation. She sent a screen shot but it’s just a zoomed in, cut off screen, that just has a date and says: cancellation “Manager approved exception”. No name, no order number. What a joke. She said that synchrony account should be automatically cancelled but admitted it was a good idea to call them to make sure. Worst I have ever encountered in my life trying to purchase something and they won’t provide an invoice of cancellation for my records which is extremely concerning. My credit also went down. Don’t accept a partial delivery, that is a tactic to get you stuck with keeping damaged furniture. Without reform, I predict the company will go out of business within a few years.

After many years overseas we are returning to the US to build our dream home. This requires furniture. The Ashley Representatives Christine “Tina” and Chris were the perfect duo. We bought our first bedroom set from them and are planning to get more in the near future! Thank you Tina & Chis for being professional and knowledgeable! I am editing my review based on my total experience. I ordered my furniture weeks in advance. It was supposed to be delivered on June 1st. I received an automated message that my furniture would arrive between 10am and 1.30pm. I had a friend waiting in the new, empty apartment, I was away on business. At 11:37am I received another automated message saying my delivery would arrive between 4:30pm-7:30pm. I decided to call the number in the text message. Spoke to someone who didn’t speak good English and was told that the delivery would be there at 6pm. I called my friend and sent her home to stand by. At 5:45 I called the number again because I had not heard from the delivery driver as I was told I would. The same person that I spoke with previously told me that she did NOT know when I would get my delivery and I just needed to wait. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and she told me there was not one. They left at 5pm. I received a call from the delivery driver at 9:45pm telling me he was on the way. I told him there was no one there to accept the delivery. He made arrangements to come on Sunday at 11:00am. I gave him my friend’s number (that was in the delivery instructions) and told him to contact her. She met her at 9:30 instead of 11:00. The furniture was put together in haste. One of the drawers is off and doesn’t open and close properly. I had to order a part for it. When I called to order the part it was if the person I spoke to already knew I would be calling. Either she was told the drawer was faulty or this is a common problem…neither is good!! They left wooden chips in all the drawers, absolutely no clean up behind themselves. I have decided that I will seek out all other competitors before purchasing anything from Ashley’s ever again.

Bought a clearance deal couch with Myra two nights ago. While the deal was impossible to pass up on, my experience with Myra flipped on a dime in the matter of 16 hours. I was told very clearly they could not offer delivery services and that was accepted. Myra told me and my roommate that while they could not deliver the couch they had “excellent movers who would be [there] in the morning”to assist removing the couch from the showroom floor. This was much appreciated and it was even explained to us to enter through the emergency exit doors in the morning because they didn’t want to ruin their customer service ratings with how their front doors tally potential-customer-ratio. My roommates and myself meet at Ashley’s in the morning to try and speak with Myra to receive the couch when we were rudely spoken to and dismissed about how we “obviously had people to move it ourselves”. She kept insisting on that we could do it ourselves as if she was busy with something else entirely and wanted to get us out of her hair. When I brought up that she told us movers could help us remove it from the show floor she scoffed at the idea of her ever saying this. I didn’t appreciate this new shift in person I was speaking with and stood my ground about how she had offered help to us. It felt out of place and strange to make your customers remove a difficulty placed couch out of the back area with a simple, green, tattered couch dolly and not offer any assistance or guidance on how to get out of that area safely. Myra then got a gentlemen to help us all while ignoring me speaking with her until he assisted us in guiding the couch out. That gentleman was very helpful however he looked very uncomfortable in general. She insisted that her movers were busy however two of them were sitting in the grass outside. They very well could have been on break. I don’t blame them in any way shape or form but Myra as a customer service member could have easily said “Hey guys I apologize but the movers are currently busy and we can wait for them to finish or wait until a later time to move the couch”. I will not be held liable for damages to surrounding cramped viewing models because she wanted to make money off other people and had finished business with us in her mind. She was very surface level nice when she knew we we’re potential buyers and shifted dramatically once we made our purchase and came for it the next day. We will not be back to purchase other pieces of furniture we had in mind. She was quick to dismiss us and begin speaking with another customer at the table in the front to make more money off people. Unprofessional and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We might be younger people but to treat us as nuisances or people to dismiss is incredibly unprofessional. As Myra put it perfectly, “You won’t find this at Living Spaces”.

We first bought furniture for our house from this same Ashley Furniture store about 8 years ago and had a normal experience. We went back this past labor day weekend to get a new mattress for us and bunk beds with mattresses for my stepsons. First off, I told the salesperson that my information was outdated and needed to be changed, which she said she did. My address ended up being updated but not my phone number so I wasn't able to receive any communication regarding delivery or order status after completing the purchase. The woman gave us a delivery date of September 12 and when that day came and we hadn't heard anything, I texted the chat support and they said our delivery was scheduled for the 15th, not the 12th. Initially they could not find my orders, and this is when I found out my phone number hadn't been updated. I let them know about the new phone number and they said they would update it. Fast forward to the 15th, and only one of our orders comes. The delivery guys said the other order wasnt on their truck that day. So I go back to the text support chat and they tell me my other order isn't scheduled until the 19th. l let them know that l still haven't received any other communication regarding my orders or deliveries, even after the last agent telling me they were going to update my phone number. This text support agent tells me they are unable to update information, even though the last one told me they had updated my phone number. Now, they tell me they will submit a ticket to the correct department. Once again, the 19th comes and no delivery or communication. This time I call the store to find out what's going on and find out my phone number still hasn't been updated. The woman on the phone says the other order was never confirmed when they tried to reach out 48 hiurs prior so it was canceled. She reschedules it for the 23rd and says she updated my phone number. After this, I finally receive order information through text prior to the delivery to confirm. So the 23rd comes and the guys bring the order in but say that two parts are backordered so they can't assemble it for us. I reach out to both the text and phone support and find out this isn't true and the delivery guys just lied so they wouldn't have to set up our furniture. A ticket was opened on the 25th and I was told I would receive a call within 24 to 48 hours to schedule someone to come out and assemble our furniture and it is now the 29th and still nothing yet. I have called back twice after the 48 hours and have just basically been told I have to wait for the distribution center to contact me. This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous and at this point we are considering returning eveything.

I'm a little skeptical about this store, particularly my sales rep. I walked into the store one evening about 6:30. We found the couch we liked and started the transaction. As she was working out the numbers I also found a bedframe that I wanted to include in the purchase. It was on sale. Perfect! I specifically asked if the price would be the same if I ordered and she said yes. We also found some home decor that had the 70% red tag that I was going to purchase same day, cash. When it came time to pay, the home decor was originally at $29.99 with 70% off. She rang me up and called out $37 and some change. I looked at her thinking she misread and then questioned the amount. How can you be charging me more than what the original sale price was? She had to talk to her manager and came back with the new price. Still not 70% off but whatever, I paid. Then comes the time for the couch and bedframe that were going to get delivered. The price of the bedframe came back higher and the rep informed me that the price was for that particular one if I took it home the same day. I was puzzled because I just finished asking if the price was the same if I ordered. I couldn't take the same day so I left it at the original price. I had also asked if they give military discount and she informed me they did and it would be applied. When the transaction was happening it was closing time. Everyone including myself was rushed. When I got home I looked online and the same bedframe was way cheaper than what she charged me in store. I also didn't see the military discount. I chatted with Ashley online and they were able to adjust the price with no issues. Great customer service. The only thing they couldn't help with is where the military discount was applied so she was going to send a ticket to the store. I get a call from the rep and she is unable to help. Instead she tells me the manager did apply but she can't tell me where because he did it manually. I told her I was seeing the price the same as when I was in the store and if she could provide me the original price and the price after the military discount and and she kept going around in circles stating that she couldn't because the system won't show where he applied it. Doesn't make any sense to me. Bottom line is she had an excuse for everything I was asking for and still couldn't prove that a military discount was applied. Sounded a little fishy to be honest. I'm giving it two stars because the online chat was helpful.

-- Update My issue was finally resolved after Ashley online customer service team got involved. ---- Do not buy furniture from this store. I was not aware that the price of product in store is not the same as in store. Initially the sales representative applied for credit card. I was not told that he is going to apply for two cards. I only became aware of it when I received second card after a month. Total price that they came up for sectional and dining set was much higher than what I can get online on Ashley website. I showed them online price for it and then they agreed to match it. They did tell me that the store is not required to have same price as what we see online on Ashley furniture website. Looks like Ashley furniture do not own them. My experience with this store has been horrible so far. Sales rep wanted to add protection plan and spoke very highly of it so I added it at that time. When I came home and read the reviews, I realized that protection plan is not worth it. It definitely was not how it was presented by sales rep. I went to store next day and I told the sales rep to remove the protection plan. He said it won't be a problem but my manager is not here now. I will have it taken care once she is back. After that I send him messages regularly requesting updates. Everytime he said it is taken care of and ít will be reflected on your credit card balance once you receive your furniture. I requested multiple times to send me updated invoice via email. It was never sent to me. I went through the credit card company to dispute protection plan charge. I provided them screenshot of conversations with sales rep too. After doing all that, I received. An email from protection plan company one month after receiving furniture that your protection plan have been activated. I called them up and asked them to cancel it and they said I need to go to store again and let. They also gave me a reference no to provide to store. Next day I went to store and told the store manager I do not need protection plan. She pulled up my invoice on the system and said she will include the request with reference number. I asked if she can send me an email with details and she said yes. She even told me my email address they had in their system but she never sent anything. Stay away from this store. You can order online if you like Ashley furniture but do not buy them from this store. Online Ashley customer service won't be able to help you. They will ask you to go to store because they can not do anything for you if you buy it from store.

We had the worst experience dealing with this company after purchasing our furniture. We were told when we ordered that the furniture we would be contacted by the delivery service to schedule. We received a text saying our furniture was ready and would be delivered on Saturday the 9th of April (about 6 weeks after purchasing). The delivery was cancelled the day of because they didn’t have everything ready. Which begs the question why schedule the delivery with us if they didn’t have everything? They rescheduled for the next weekend and again canceled. After moving around work and childcare schedules to accommodate the delivery twice we became frustrated and called customer service. After waiting 45 minutes for assistance, I spoke to someone in the delivery section who blamed me for scheduling over the phone ( which is what we were instructed to do at the store). I asked if could just cancel the order she told me I had to call the store. After calling the store 4 times, I finally got someone at the store (female “manager”). I told her the issues we were having and asked about cancelling. She told me they would change 10% for the cancellation. I told her that was not acceptable because of all the issues we had leading to the point of wanting to cancel. I asked to speak to someone else about the policy and she said she was the manager and I could call customer service but they would tell me the same. So I told her I wanted to talk to my husband about it and I would call back. She took it upon herself to cancel the order and we were charged. We didn’t find out it was cancelled until we call called customer “support” (waited another 45 minutes to speak to someone) to see if we could work out the delivery issues. We are pending our refund and working with the better business bureau to try and get our 10% back. Normally I wouldn’t take the time to write all this but the amount of time and energy spent dealing with this store was ridiculous and I hope to save you the same hassle. We are looking forward to purchasing our new furniture elsewhere

Very upset.... We ordered a king bed and a sofa thing we were quoted by the salesperson we would have it delivered by the 23rd , we also did not want to take the order unless they were in stock and we wouldn't have to wait so again the 23rd is what we were quoted which will be tomorrow and our decision on taking the furniture was based on them being in stock and an acceptable delivery date. Comfortable in knowing that we would have it delivered tomorrow, we already gave away our furniture this morning as that's when the people could pick it up.... we don't have room for the new furniture and old furniture together.....so being ready for the delivery we reserved a motel for tonight ....nobody called last week to let us know that the 23rd had been rescheduled due to the items not being in stock after all, I wanted to give more detailed delivery instructions as we live out in the country so I called just now and just learned that there is NO scheduled date the items aren't in stock and we have to wait with a possibility of May 6th and even then no guarantee.... unfortunately we have no couch to sit on and no bed to sleep on so we need to go and buy new stuff LIKE NOW.... however the paperwork shows that there is a 10% restocking fee even though it hasn't been in stock or scheduled or at the place for pickup or delivery so we could be out $400 to cancel this I have to wait for a call back.....if we can't cancel....this will be the last time that I purchase anything from Ashley and that is unfortunate because I bought all of my furniture at Ashley for the past 15 years....so we'll see. We will have to go buy a temp air mattress and be out the cost of that because of their mistake and lie during the sales process...... And discomfort too as the whole reason for a new bed is my husband's injured back.... Fyi....you can't call the store directly, it only goes to voicemail.....and when I finally got through to customer service they said that that was the new process you can't call the store directly you call customer service then they have to send an email to have somebody call you back..... but when trying to call customer service the phone line kept hanging up so I guess they had phone trouble .....it took me 15 phone calls to get through to one person and she was very nice and very helpful but that's not the point. I have to speak to a mgr about the fee.....still...she could only take the message and pass it on. Update from this previous post...... ......I did receive several caring communications after this post and Ashley's made good on allowing us to cancel the other with no charges of any kind......so.....VERY VERY PLEASED......I have always liked Ashley's items and have bought there for years..my home has several pieces....didn't want to stop....so even if there was a problem....they made it right..I'm impressed !!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHELY I have received the WORST customer service from them. We have had a sectional for 3 years, per the attached warranty information directly from Ashley Furniture themselves, the spring and webbed seating systems have a 5 year warranty (only 1 year labor coverage). Well one portion of our sectional has completely gone out; you sit on it and it bottoms out. I have been trying for 4 weeks to submit a claim under this 5 year limited warranty. The 1st 2 customer service reps never submitted the claim. The 3rd rep finally submitted the claim. We waited a week for a call back as told, when they called somehow they got my husbands number and just left a voicemail saying "This is the service department. Sorry there's only a 1 year warranty, goodbye" with no number to call back. I then called the only customer service number I had for the 4th time. That customer service rep said they put in a request and the Service Department would call me within 48 hours. Here we are 8 days later with no call back. I called today and have spent over an hour on the phone with Customer Service again. The first person just hung up on me after awhile. The 2nd person did call the parts department and now (after 4 weeks) is saying "that couch was discontinued, sorry even though you have 2 years left on that 5 year limited warranty we won't do anything". That is completely unacceptable. What is the point of a warranty then if you don't have to honor it? You change out furniture yearly, so of course our specific couch is no longer made. But you still should be able to fix the spring seating system. This customer service rep said she would transfer me to a manager, instead I got transferred to a generic voicemail so have no idea who I left a voicemail to or if I will be called back. I am exasperated. Have wasted so much time and this has been the absolute worst customer service I've ever received. DO NOT purchase from Ashley if you care about a warranty actually being honored. We take care of belongings and keep them in pristine condition and are so disappointed in not only the quality of the couch, but the customer service from this company.

My husband and I were told that we would have our mattress and adjustable bases in two weeks which was mid Feb and the bedset in Mid-March. We bought the furniture on Feb 2, 2021.So, first I want to say that no one ever called us and informed us of any delays. I had to call Ashley customer care more than 10 times to get the status of my furniture. First I will begin with the first delay, the mattress and bases were delayed and were scheduled to be delivered on March 8, 2021 and the bed set, after several phone calls and visits to the store I purchased them from, was now pushed back to May 12. When I called anyone affiliated with Ashley or visited the store I got so many different answers about my furniture . Well on March 6,2021 I went into the Ashley store where I purchased the furniture from to cancel the bedset as the date to arrive at the warehouse keeps getting pushed back and I needed a bedroom set before May and honestly I did not have faith that it will come in May as I have had every date they told me get pushed back. When I went there I was informed that I would have to pay a 10 percent fee which I was told could be waived if Corporate approves. So we filed out a form and ensure the it was noted that we canceled due to the extreme delivery delays and inconsistency with the company. We kept the delivery date with the mattress and bases. The delivery people from Ashley came to my house on the scheduled delivery date for my mattress and base only to find out that the mattress was damaged. The delivery gentleman told me he needed to make a call to see if they can leave the mattress until a replacement can get sent out or do not deliver. He was told not to deliver so we did not get the mattress or bases that day. They did not bring it off the truck. I called to find out when I would get a replacement as I have no bed and am sleeping on the floor due to the upcoming scheduled delivery of the mattress. I called for 2 days and no one could give me an answer. They told me to call back the next day. I called back and spoke to 2 separate individuals at the customer care number and one person told me to call back in 72 hours and another individual just told me that she did not know any info and couldnt help. That was my last straw. I got off work and went to Ashley Home Store on Pat Booker in San Antonio, TX and went to cancel the entire order due to Ashley sending a damaged mattress. I informed the lady at the front desk everything that has occured as I spoke with her the Saturday before and she again said we could request the fee be waived. So I asked to speak to the manager because I wanted to know when my order would be canceled and my money refunded. Well my husband and I waited for 25 minutes for him to speak with us and he never came to the front. I did not have time to wait as it was apparent that speaking with us, paying customers was not a priority. So I left my number and left. He called me back about 20 minutes later. He stated that he does not know why his employee told me the fee can be waived and even it if took a year to get our furniture we still have to pay the 10 percent fee, which is rediculous. We have been very patient and took every measure to keep the order, but due to the unprofessionalism, inconsistency, and rudeness of Ashley furniture we decided we needed to take our business elsewhere. The manager from that store was condesending and was not try to do anything to help us and understand where we were coming from. I was told that I had to pay the 10 percent or the order will not be canceled. So the 640 I put down from my bank account was already with them and I had to pay an additional 108 over the phone to get him to cancel out the order. I would never purchase anything from this store ever again. Worst customer service .

Worst service. We were in the store at the beginning of February to purchase a bed and mattress. We were told, by the associate (Jose) that we would have our delivery on the 20th of February. We were also told all products that we purchased were IN STOCK. The 20th came and went, no delivery. After trying to reach someone by phone (unsuccessfully), I went into the store to find out our delivery wouldn’t arrive until March 3rd. While we understand that weather happens, delays happen, we were NEVER made aware of this delivery date. We specifically agreed to the 20th (Saturday) due to my work schedule during the week. The 3rd is a Wednesday. I spoke with the associate last night, in the store, and he promised to call me today (Sunday the 21st) with an update. He never called. Not even a courtesy call to let me, at least, know he was working on this. Instead, he passed my name to someone else (who knew nothing about my purchase) to handle his mistake/lies. I spoke with a female manager who was no help. I spoke with the store manager, who’s name is Jose Guerra. He was very rude and seemed very unconcerned with the fact that I had already gotten rid of my bed (right before the ‘supposed’ delivery date) and that I was now having to sleep on the floor for an additional two weeks because of the false information we were given at the time of the sale. Had we known about the 3rd being the possible delivery date, I could’ve held on to my bed a little longer. He continued to interrupt me as I was explaining my frustration and ultimately did NOTHING to help or even try to help me. He basically told me I could cancel, but we’d have to pay a 10% cancellation fee, or I could wait until the 3rd and be on ‘standby’ for a call to set up a ‘window’ (which means me losing money having to take time off from work) for delivery or I could wait a few more days after that (which means sleeping on the floor longer) to have my furniture delivered. Lose lose for the paying customer. He also told me that he had someone come in the store, last night, who purchased 20k and got their items delivered on time. So, because we didn’t pay 20k for items, we’re penalized?? Or discriminated against?? You pick. Jose was very rude and uncaring. The associate was rude and lied. The whole experience at Ashley’s has been horrible. I would never recommend anyone doing business there. Nor will I ever purchase another item from that store. Be aware when you walk in, they will treat you well, promise you things, but will not deliver. To corporate: I believe having the right people in place is very important for your sales. I would take a good look and examine who you have in place. They are a representation of your company. If Jose would have said, “I understand. Let me see what I can do to help you”, I would’ve been a little more understanding. But not ONCE did he try to help diffuse the situation. Instead, he continued interrupting me, challenging me and making ME feel like I was the problem. I will never put money into a store that has people like that in place.

I purchased a bed set, dresser, and coffee table from the Live Oak location on December 5. We knew we wouldn't receive the items until Dec. 31 or later, but we were okay with that. We also paid in full with cash and debit card. Our salesperson was Austin Martin. The first delivery attempt was around the second week of January and I had to refuse all items except the coffee table because the headboard was missing and they sent a chest instead of the dresser I ordered. I called the number on my sales receipt and they said they could update the order with the correct items. I was under the impression they did that since the person said they did. I got a second delivery on January 20 and had to once again refuse it because of the exact same issues. At this point, I called Austin directly and he indicated that he had put in the wrong items on my invoice at the time of purchase. I spoke with him several times via text and on the phone and he updated everything for me. So, I was sent another notification for delivery of the bed on January 25 and was told the dresser would most likely be delivered around February 10. On January 25, I had to REFUSE THE ORDER AGAIN FOR A THIRD TIME the items were so badly damaged. At this point I was so mad that I decided I was just going to cancel the order for the remaining items I never received. I called customer service many, many times and no one could connect me with the store directly or cancel my order via phone since Texas locations are franchises. I tried calling Austin again and his number was no longer in service. I decided to drive up to the store (which is 30 minutes from my house) and talk to a manager in person to help me cancel everything and start the refund process. I waited for the GM, Jose Guerra, for around 30 minutes to get off of a call so I could speak with him. I explained to him everything that had happened so far and that I wanted to cancel my order. He was very nice and apologetic and reassured me he would cancel my order that evening (as they only do cancels at the end of the night) and that he would also waive the cancellation fee and modify the delivery fee and protection plan charges since the only item I ever received was the coffee table. I was told once the order was cancelled I would receive the debit card refund in about 3-5 days and that since I paid cash for more than half of it, that would have to be mailed to me via check (2-4 weeks). This conversation with Jose took place on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at around 11:30 a.m. I never received a text saying my order was cancelled that evening or the next morning like they said I would. So, I called Jose since he gave me his cell. He was very polite again and said he would take care of it and to give him about an hour and he'd call me back with an update. That was on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at around 3 p.m. I never heard back from him that day or since. It's now Friday, Jan. 29. I have called him two additional times and left voicemails. He is refusing to speak with me or call me back. I called customer service several times since after all of this and they are showing the order as active. I even got a damn text saying my order will be delivered on Monday, Feb. 1. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I just want my money back and to be done with this whole thing. It's around $1200-$1300 that I'm owed. This has been one of the most unprofessional situations I've ever dealt with and it's like they're stealing from me now. I'm thinking they did something with the $1,200 cash I paid. What else would explain them not just canceling my order in their system to start the refund process? Did someone pocket my money or try to game the inventory system? If this isn't resolved within the next few days, I may take legal action.

Everything was great until, The day after my purchase! Once I decided to cancel the order 18 hours later that’s when it got really bad. Not my salesperson Tim but the management. First off I did everything by phone. Put the order in and paid for it. Later that day my daughter in law decided that’s not what she wanted. Next morning about 18 hours later I called and canceled the order. It was still at the original store where they found it. So nothing at this point had been moved anywhere. They tell me my refund will take about a week. ok no big deal so I thought. 1 week past, no refund 2 weeks past, no refund 3 weeks past, no refund 4 weeks past, no refund During all these weeks I’m calling about my refund and they keep telling me it takes up to a month. Also making excuses about forgetting to turn in paper work, honestly a multitude of reasons and excuses. All being done by text messaging. No one would ever call me back! This review will not include everything that happened because it would take up way to much space. So long story short I finally had to get really nasty in order to get my refund back. But the kicker is they only gave me back part of the money. They held out $43.00 for some sort of restocking fee. The funny part is it was never taken out of stock or given to me I never saw it except for a picture on the web site and canceled 18 hours later. I called their main office and the way they have their phones set up if you don’t resolve your situation within minutes it automatically hangs up on you. I had to call back 5 times and talk to 5 different people and tell my situation 5 different times. By the time I was done and the person brought up the account and read over everything it would hang up again. Plus I never got a call back to resolve my issue like they said someone would do. It was very depressing to say the least. Why do people want to rip others off? Why do companies feel this need to punish those who decided not to buy from them? Why is the world and people becoming so cruel and uncaring? This is the LiveOak store I was dealing with by the way. So my review is a one because I have never experienced such unorganized, rude and frankly uncaring and stone hearted people as well as the overall company. All the employees are the same way so that tells me the owners force them to implement these horrible rules that do nothing but hurt the customer and help the owner get richer. What a rip off company. Buyer Be Very Aware of Their Practices. You will loose money in the end. It’s sad when your only options to make sure no one else is done the same way is to write up a review like this. I hate doing this and I’m most cases don’t. But this situation was over the top for me. I hope customers heed my warning about this company.

I have to start by saying that I really like the furniture that Ashley sales. My wife and I have bought bedroom sets, entertainment centers and now we were upgrading our bed to a king. But, unfortunately, I also have to say the customer care that has been provided by the store located in Live Oak, TX has been nothing but frustrating. From the lack of knowledge and attention to detail of the sales team to the complete disregard for customers by the store manager Mr. Jose Guerra. Our first unpleasant experience with this particular store was when we purchased a rather expensive entertainment center. First delivery, the bridge was broken in the box. Second delivery, no hardware to put the bridge together. On the third delivery, the delivery guy (Victor) came back after he was off from work to put everything together. Each time the store was contacted, they wanted to blame the delivery guys and make excuses when the reality of it was, the delivery guys were working as hard as they could to make it right. Fast forward to the weekend after Thanksgiving 2020, my wife, daughter and I went back to look at upgrading our queen sleigh bed to a king. We just wanted the bed as we already had the rest of the set from when we purchased 10 yrs earlier at an Ashley's in California. We were told that we could change out the sleigh headboard design for a flat head board design which sounded great so we didn't have two of the same kind of bed in our house. First delivery, we find out that the flat headboard does not go with that particular frame. Second delivery, they deliver the right headboard but the wrong side rails. My wife contacts the sales associate who states she will make it right giving us a $184.00 refund and that the delivery would get corrected. Third delivery, everything is going good until they go to put the supporting slats in and find out that the support poles that screw into the slats are wrong. Well, since these guys had traveled from Waco (about 3 hrs away) they were going to try and rig the slats so that they would work. I asked that they hold off from doing that until we get confirmation from the store that they would bring out the right slats before the holidays ended and we had to back to work and school. We were told in writing from the sales lady, Ms. M. Rodriguez on the 23rd of December that the right slats would be delivered and changed out. We never got any confirmation so when my wife contacted her on the 30th of December and asked for a status she replied with a "Oh yes", as if she had forgotten and no refund had been put on the card used for the purchase. So now my wife contacts the store and leaves a message for the store manager to call her back but he never does. So I go to the store on the 31st and speak with the store manager, Jose Guerra and was finally provided the refund and told I would get the right slats for the bed. He stated they were oushing to get the slats to me by the 2nd of January and that he would call me personally by 3 p.m. on the first to confirm. He never did. So now I get a text and an email that the delivery will be on 8 Jan. 2021. At this point, I just wanted to get the right stuff so fine I will take off of work so that I can be available. So this morning I get a call that the delivery is now on backorder and that i need to call and reschedule. So, I call customer care and she states that I am getting a partial delivery of 2 twin beds, the base and headboard but that the side rails are on backorder. I just need the slats. I can't make this stuff up if I tried.

I am due a $600 refund. This has been going on for the past several weeks, and it has yet to be resolved. My experience with Ashley Store at 7919 Pat Booker Road, San Antonio, Texas has been extremely stressful. My wife and I ordered a couple of bedroom sets and a living room set; the total cost was over $6,000. The Sales Representative told us that delivery will be made on 10 November. We needed the furniture before 1 December because I have official government orders assigning me to Korea. We waited patiently to hear from Ashley. On 9 November, I telephoned Ashley Delivery to discuss the status of our order. I was put of hold for over 45 minutes. Finally, a representative got on the line and rudely told us that delivery will be on 17 December. She disdainfully suggested that if we needed the furniture sooner, then we should get a truck and physically go to the warehouse to retrieve it. What nonsense! Suffice it to say, my wife and I were furious. We returned to the store at Pat Booker Road and "canceled" the order. The Manager told us that we were obligated to pay a cancelation fee of $658 because the furniture was at the warehouse. That made absolutely no sense. If the furniture was at the warehouse, then why did we have to wait to December to receive the order? As luck would have it, we were able to get a delivery on 10 November. With that, we re-entered the items and returned home. However, due to the cancelation and re-ordering, Ashley owes us $600 for the down payment that we had made when we initially purchased the furniture in October. On 10 November, on / about 5:00 PM, we received part of the order. Unfortunately, one of the head boards and the dresser were damaged. The Sofa and Love Seat were not available with this order. We returned to Ashley on 11 November to discuss furniture delivery for the head board, dresser, sofa and love seat. We scheduled the delivery for Monday, 16 November. Subsequently, a representative from the delivery team told us that we will receive all the pieces ( headboard, dresser, sofa, and love seat) on 19 November. On 19 November, Ashley delivered a head board and dresser. The sofa and the love seat were not on the truck. And, to top it off, the head board was damaged - yet again. Once again, we go to Ashley at Pat Booker Road. The Manager, had us work with another representative. We asked this representative about the $600 refund, which, at the time of this message, we have yet to receive. According to this representative, he called in a "favor," and we received the head board, sofa, and love seat on 25 November. The head board was filthy; it was neither covered nor protected. And, the head board was "scratched." However, since 1 December was only a week away, we accepted the head board. At this point, the $600 refund remains unresolved. The Manager told us that he sent messages to Ashley corporate to process a refund for us. We were told that Ashley corporate would send us a check; that did not happen. We were told that Ashley corporate would credit our charge card; that, too, has not happened. Essentially, we have been given the "run around" for the last couple of weeks. I contacted Ashley today, 28 November, and chatted with "Dominque." Dominque told me - through chat - that she instructed the store at Pat Booker Road, San Antonio, Texas to process a refund for me. Dominque told me that it would take 7 - 10 days to process the refund. I told "Dominque" that we've been working with the manager at the Ashley store at Pat Booker Road for the last several weeks, and we have yet to resolve this issue. "Dominque" told me that she could not expedite the refund. This has been a horrible experience. My wife even got sick due to nerves while we were dealing with Ashley furniture. Granted, Ashley has good deals. But, trust me on this, those deals aren't worth the aggravation.

There is an update at the end to my first review of 5 stars. Very friendly and extremely helpful. I never had to go out of my way to find someone to help me. Paul at Live Oak, ensured all my questions were answered. When I told people someone else was already helping me...they were still virtuous every time (I went in the store a few times looking for the right furniture) The prices were very reasonable and they have high quality products. I haven’t had it delivered yet...so hopefully I didn’t just jinx it ;). Oh my goodness I did jinx it. I haute changing it...but I have to change it from a 5 to 1 star, I would do less than one star if I could. This has been a nightmare. The initial entrance to the store to shop is very deceiving. I am now waiting for the store manager or someone to contact me. I will update this review with all of my text messages and shared information of what I’ve had to deal with. If I could go back I would never step into the store. It depends on how well the rest of this is handled...So far everything has been handled horribly. I am a very patient person and easy to get along with so if I write a bad review it is definitely deserving. One of the managers they have in place there should never be a manager... let me add that I realize that things are taking longer because of the way things are right now with this virus that is uncontrollable however, the communication is controllable.... Stay tuned for further updates. I just noticed that the owner replied with a thank you to my first review. I would love for you to contact me and I would be happy to share all my documentation and who I spoke with and what has happened with you so that this does not happen to any other customers. This has been the worse experience I've ever had with furniture in general and especially Ashley!!! It's going on 5 months now and I still have not received my furniture and the date is still getting pushed back even right now. Very poor business for such a big company. Doesn't make sense to me either that the store and delivery center aren't on the same page. They both just give out false information about dates that the furniture will be getting delivered, but it doesn't. I've spoke with management who doesn't have a clue because they have given me false dates as well. This whole process and experience has been horrible. The sorry only goes soo far when I still don't have what I ordered and they have already taken money out of my account 5 months later. This post is an edit of the previous one I posted because since then I received confirmation notification that my sectional would be getting delivered Oct 27th. These confirmations came in the form of email, text messages and phone conversations. This was still confirmed even the day upon scheduled delivery. After talking to two people during my waiting process just to confirm that my furniture was still being delivered Oct 27th and them confirming that it was in route, the third person informed me that my sectional would not be delivered and had not even reached the warehouse yet. I asked to speak with a manager from the delivery center at this point and was told that no-one was available and that they would send out an email for someone to contact me. 48 hours later, I still have not heard from anyone so I reached back out to them and spoke with a manager. The manager was not helpful and didn't give any explanation or reason as to why these dates and confirmations given to me have been incorrect. All he said is it looks like the sectional should reach the warehouse Nov 27th, but that none of the dates we give are certain. As mentioned before, it's been 5 months now and I can't even get a for sure date on when to expect my furniture. This is beyond bad service, and for me to be the one reaching out and not the Ashley Home Store team shows that you all don't care. Who knows how long it will be before I get my furniture?!? Every time I go to check on the date for delivery, it gets pushed out at least another month by the time I go check again. I've asked to speak with someone who could resolve my issue and I've been told there is no one to. That's bad business for a big company, I will NOT shop at Ashley again!

They called me a couple of days before to change the date to September 19. That bothered me but I kept waiting because I really wanted the furniture. Today is October 31 and I had called 2 weeks ago to make sure of this date to receive. Supposedly yesterday they called me 3 times to confirm the delivery time and told me it was between 3 and 5 p.m. I called to make sure of the time and it turns out they have nothing for me. If I want the furniture, I must make an appointment but there are no more delivery dates. That it doesn't even appear in their system that they have my furniture. They tried to call me but they couldn't find me. I record all the calls I receive and the confirmation of the calls appears there. They can't even answer me right now. And now they tell me that if I cancel my purchase, I must pay 10% of it. So I have to wait to see if they can deliver me until November 10, but without being sure they will change the date again. I would give no stars if I could. Do not I repeat do not purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture on Pat Booker at this time. I have been waiting on a desk that I purchased on 6/6/20. Every month I am told it’s going to be another month before I receive the desk. First I was told July then Aug then Sept and now October.No follow up and no customer service.Have spoken to several people there and no one ever returns your call. Spoke to Zack who said he would have a manager call me and no return call. Called again took 30 minutes on hold to speak to Bot H. Who first couldn’t even find my order and all he had to say was now the new date is October 21 before I’ll ever see this purchase and that there is nothing he can do but have another manager call me. There is no concern no big deal to them they already have my money so it doesn’t matter to them if I ever see the furniture I bought. Now Bot H. says he will have Jose G. Call me to see what can be done. At this point this is now theft in my opinion. You cannot take people’s money and never deliver the furniture. I see many other people on reviews are also experiencing this same thing. They are taking your money but not delivering the furniture and act as though you are supposed to just be fine being told it’s going to be another month. Shameful of Ashley Furniture to take people’s money during this time when so many are experiencing hardships right now and not deliver the furniture. They should be honest and say it’s going to be 6 months to a year or maybe never at this point before you ever get your furniture you paid for. No one there seems concerned or offers any options. Just keeps saying it’s going to be another month. I want my furniture or my money back. If you cannot afford to wait for your furniture for several months or maybe never get the furniture you paid for do not purchase anything from Ashley Furniture. Shameful.

UPDATE OF ALL UPDATES: My brother in law is looking into Texas state law will allow us and the many who have had the same issue due Ashley for breach of contract with multiple false delivery dates for a class action lawsuit since we have all received verbal, digital, or written confirmation of a delivery date and then that day was missed. Will keep you all updated. Went in to purchase furniture for a new home - was originally told a far off date so I changed the furniture I’d choose to get it quicker. Early August was my delivery date - but then call when furniture never shows up and it’s has a delivery date of NOVEMBER. Now if I want to cancel it’ll cost you 10% of the purchase to get out. DO NOT BUY from Ashley’s if you want someone to just be honest about dates. Funny this is when I said I’d go buy from somewhere else if the dates were far out originally they magically escalated but I now see that was just a way for me to purchase furniture and manipulate me into opening credit there. Last purchase here for sure. Update: I CALLED THEIR MAIN LINE AND THEY SAID THEYLL TRANSFER ME TO MY STORE BECAUSE THEY CANT HELP ME AND THEN THEY HUNGUP AND NOW THAT I CALL BACK I GET AN AUTOMATED VOICE THAT THEYRE CURRENTLY CLOSED! Update: The person who handled my transaction was Maria - a manager. Update: Not one person called me back after I was told the cat before I’d have a call. Not one manager. Not one employee. Not one person from cooperate. Nothing. They literally don’t care because they have my money apparently. Also the sales person isn’t responding anymore. Update: Got a call from a manager - of course they’re going to refund shipping. Freight is always the cost that you use to refund because that isn’t a large ticket item - but that’s it. Mind you I am still sleeping on a floor and my furniture will not all come on the 19th. I will still have to wait until September. Subpar customer service; I was asked what they can do for me and I told them you’re only going to refund shipping so why would you tell me that... of course I was immediately told is that all they can do is refund the $270 shipping charge. Ashley’s Furniture has subpar customer service AFTER you purchase in this area.

Nine MONTHS and still no bed. WE WANT A REFUND, CANNOT REACH ANYONE.. Ordered 2 Caitbrook loft beds and 2 Caitbrook under bed storage dresser sets and PAID IN FULL on 9/7/19. After the delivery estimate moved numerous times, the items weren’t delivered until 2/28/20. Imagine the excitement of my sons, especially my 5 year old who had now been sleeping on a cot for 6 months after numerous delivery extensions. Then the bad news during assembly- when the Ashley installer brings you their phone with an Ashley representative on speaker saying one of the two beds could not be assembled due to a manufacturing error. Grrrr. The replacement part was to arrive in 3 weeks. On 5/22/20 almost 3 months later there was still no replacement part shipped and the Ashley rep instead decided to just reorder the entire bed. Delivery and assembly was scheduled for 6/4/20, with a confirmed delivery time window even. My son who has now been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for the last 3 months with unassembled bed parts cluttering his floor, is excited! THEN 1 day prior I noticed a missed call from an 877 number (no voicemail), and I call back. After waiting on that dreadful hold AGAIN I find out the delivery is cancelled and the bed is not scheduled to arrive until 7/8/20. Aghhhhh!!! That will mean 10 MONTHS that we’ll have been dealing with this. Everyone I talk to on the national line thinks it is ridiculous but they have no ability to make it right! “Call Ashley Live Oak directly and talk to them” but when I call the local number it goes straight to the national line and you have to wait for 20-30 minutes to talk to someone. I am DONE. I have no way to reach Ashley Live Oak store. Please keep this in mind because this is not the first time we have had issues but this has been undeniably the WORST furniture buying experience ever. Ashley Live Oak has no follow up after a sale or damaged part. There is no forum for addressing your concerns as the customer. If you want to take a chance and risk experiencing excessive delays for your furniture to arrive broken and then have to spend hours and hours of your life on hold waiting to find out why you still don’t have your items, then go for it. They have good prices and trendy styles but you have to decide if it is worth the anguish you might experience!

If I could leave a negative star of this place I would. When my husband and I shopped at Ashleys for thee first time back im february we saw furniture for our bedroom that we liked and we had decided to purchase them but were told that thee railings for thee bed frame were not available but were arriving in 2-3 weeks.. We waited 3 weeks and still were not notified. By this time it was March so then I decided to call thee store and then had been told they werent available until May 2nd. So we waited for almost 2 months more. Then on the day that we been waiting for our funiture finally came. But guess what!! Our bedroom set was 2 different colors when we had ordered it in 1 and thee railings to the bed that we been waiting for were broken and so was another part. So we had no choice but wait for the scheduled date they gave us which wasnt for another 2 and a half weeks. Then I had received a text and email from Ashleys confirming our delivery between 5:15pm-8:15pm. Then i recieved a call 2 days before thee delivery date confirming that our delivery will be at 7:01pm. Then the day of our scheduled date I received a text from Ashleys at 1:56pm saying they were coming with our delivery in 45 minutes when they had told me 7:01pm. I then called Ashleys Homestore which took awhile for someone to answer. When they did I was told I would just have to reschedule again and that they had messed up on their part and thought I was aware of it which I wasnt and even double checked my email texts and anything else I could think of. All they told me to do was to reschedule for the 3rd time which is annoying since we been waiting for our bedroom set since February. I didnt even get offered a discount and not even told a sorry just to "reschedule". If your looking for good quality bedroom sets, a store that values their customers, and doesnt just make them easy and convenient for themselves then keep looking cuz all these people have done is screw my husband and I over. All we were told are just excuses that delays happen which I completely understand they do but if they happen 3 times its just unacceptable.

WORST experience in buying furniture we’ve ever experienced!!! I give them ZERO stars for everything we’ve experienced from the time we purchased our furniture in mid-Dec 2019 to where we are right now-still owed a replacement sofa and TV stand from our FIRST delivery. We’re on delivery number FOUR and 4 days of work have been missed. Our Sales Rep, Paul Perez has only returned a few texts since all the issues started with our deliveries. I’ve tried calling to speak to a Store Manage but NO ONE has ever returned my calls to discuss our situation or concerns. FIRST delivery was changed without our knowledge since Ashley only calls 48 hours prior to confirm delivery which is where we found out that not all of our furniture was available so the delivery was changed. Furniture was delivered begin of Jan with 2 damaged pieces (first TV stand and sofa). At this delivery it was found that an ottoman was left off the original purchase in mid-Dec. Purchased ottoman and scheduled pick up at the store on Pat Booker once it arrived at the store. Purchased additional pieces (second TV stand, gaming chairs) end of Jan to arrive when the 2 damages pieces from the first delivery where scheduled to be delivered. SECOND delivery arrived with the gaming chairs damaged and a replacement for the first TV stand; however, the wrong TV stand was sent to replace the first damaged TV stand. After reviews online pricing, we discovered that we were charged a higher amount for items at the store than those online. Same thing was noticed for the “furniture warranty” at the store versus online. My BF printed out the items from online we purchased and went to the store. He was told by Paul and the Manager on duty that the prices differ since most stores are independently owned and do not go by online pricing which is ran by corporate. He was then told by the Manger that he would refund him for the discrepancy of $200. To date, we’ve haven’t seen any refund to our credit cards. BF contacted store to confirm arrival of the ottoman where is was confirmed it was at the store around 4:00 pm. However, when my BF went to the store at 5:00pm, same day and he was told that ottoman was returned! No one seemed to know who he talked to but would deliver it to us for a fee! Seriously...a delivery fee for your mistake. The ottoman was put on the THIRD delivery with the replacement for the sofa and TV stand. THIRD delivery was delivered today with the wrong replacement sofa from the FIRST delivery and the replacement for the first TV stand was so damaged in numerous places, we sent it back AGAIN! We are now on our FOURTH delivery to replace furniture purchased in mid-December. Ashley has done ABSOLUTELY nothing to try to rectify or compensate for their numerous delivery mistakes. For each delivery, a day of work has to be taken off which takes away from our family and is unacceptable. We DO NOT WANT a store credit from a company that doesn’t value its customers. We know Paul received his commission for the $8K we spent and we can’t believe how we’re being treated.

UPDATE 2/819 BUYERS BEWARE!!! WORST EVER. Still do not have the rest of my furniture, but THEY STILL HAVE MY MONEY! the rest of the furniture was to be delivered 2/9 /19 no email, no phone call nothing, chased them for 2 hours this morning and finally told oh its suposed to be here on the 27th ! No notice to me of this, there are absolutely no words to describe this business ! Im shocked they are still in business. Horrible! Reporting to FTC( FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION) Update- 12/23/18 now i know why they insist you leave a review before you even ring up your order! If i could give zero stars i would. Take my advice ,steer clear of Ashley and go to Havertys! Bought a sofa, sofa sleeper, loveseat, cocktail table, 2 side tables.everything was soposed to be delivered on 12/23 except the 2 end tables. Check my invoice next morning... My Name was wrong, my email was wrong, my address was wrong! After i corrected jessica on it 15 times!!! Called to fix, never noticed the phone number was wrong also! Get an email delivery confirmation, confirm, call to double check and they can't find my account! Because the phone number was wrong Also, girl at corporate acts like its all about her👎 then she informs me the side tables will not be in untill febuary and im not getting the sofa sleeper for 3 more weeks OMG! Then she proceeds to tell me i can go pick out different side tables if i dont want to wait!!??? REALLY? Yep i want missmatched furniture..side tables go with the rest of it! Its a set! Then she says well you can just cancel the order ? Its 1 day shy of christmas eve! I have NO FURNITURE in my house that ive renovated spent 2 - 3 hours picking this out and if it wasn't Christmas eve you bet your A. S .S i would be CANCELING! I have been buying ASHLEY funiture for 20 years and you can Bet this order will BE MY LAST! You take over 3,000 cash from someone you should at least TELL THE TRUTH! SLOOPY, LIE,CONDENSENDING, DONT GIVE A S_ _ _ ATTITUDE ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY! For the rest if my 2 story house New Furnishings I will go elsewhere MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Everything was so grand while i was at the store and it was all "no problem we can do that, just sign here" they say we can pick up the beds on jan 2. "Just call on the 1st and make sure its on the way" i call and they are closed, you would think (chris) would have known that. I call on the 2nd and they are now saying the 8th! I have called and text my salesman and have heard nothing back for 3 days. I tried to cancel my order but was passed around to 3 different people who all said they were the sales manager at that store! The first guy told me he was so sorry and give him 24hrs to make it right. After not hearing back i called again and talked to a gentleman who said he was so sorry and he would start by refunding me the money I spent on the pillows, the problem with that is the pillows were part of the rebate so I did not actually pay for them! He also told me to give him 24hrs. After not hearing back i called again to cancel my order and i was transferred to a lady who said that she would refund me the delivery money i had spent, I didn't get a delivery! I was supposed to be picking it up at the warehouse but you would have thought she would have seen that in my file! I told her to stop wasting my time and I wanted to cancel... Conveniently in the next 30 minutes my salesman text me and said that they were upgrading my mattress for free because of all the issues and I would be able to pick up on the 5th. Reluctantly I went to the warehouse to pick up my items. When I get home I realized they had not upgraded my mattress so I called back 2 discuss the situation and I was told that someone had entered the wrong SKU number and my mattress had been there the whole time! This place is a total joke and I should have listened to people when they told me not to do business with Ashley Furniture in selma tx. I have definitely learned my lesson and to save yourself money and having to deal with worthless employees and managers go somewhere else

Our salesman Tomas was very nice and knew how to give us space when shopping, but was available when we were ready. He appeared to know availability for products and helped us pick things out that would work with our timeline. (We needed to have our furniture in place prior to the Christmas Holidays due to guests arriving) All was great, we received our notice that our delivery was scheduled and all the pieces would be delivered between 3 and 6 pm on Thursday. I made arrangements to be home to receive the delivery and everything was good. On Thursday morning, at 9:05 am, I received a message that only our Loveseat would be delivered that day, and that our sofa would not come until the following Thursday. Here's the main problem, based on the information I had leading up to delivery, I had removed all of our furniture to make room for the new stuff. Now, we are on the floor! For a Week? To top things off, the Loveseat was damaged, only two legs would screw in, due to a manufacturer's defect. I convinced the delivery guys to leave it anyway, and arrangements were made to send me the missing pieces that I was told I could put in myself. I then called Tomas at the store I purchased the furniture from and shared my disappointment with him. He asked me to give him a few minutes and he would see what he could do. He called me right back and told me that he couldn't do anything about the sofa, but he could have my new recliner brought out the next day. I was happy about that, at least. I made arrangements to miss another day of work to be home to receive it, but it never came! I called Tomas at the expected time of delivery, and he informed me that they had forgotten to load it on the truck and that it would be Monday now before I could get it. SO, I take a third day off of work on Monday to be home to receive it. (I had to take the whole day because the delivery window I was given was between 2pm and 10pm. What is that? An eight hour window?) The delivery crew was supposed to call me 30 minutes out to let me know they are on the way. They didn't, they just arrived. To my surprise, they not only had my recliner, but they had the sofa as well. The left hand obviously doesn't know what the right hand is doing in your company. The furniture is nice, but the stress involved having it delivered has left a terrible taste in my mouth. You refunded my delivery fee, thank you, but that is almost insulting to me. Aside from Tomas and delivery crew, the rest of the Ashley employees I spoke with could care less whether I received my purchases or not. Customer Care Team? More like Customer I don't Care Team. To be dismissed with "We've refunded your delivery fee" doesn't quite get it. This is my third large item purchase from Ashley, but it may be my last. There are a lot of furniture stores out there, and one of them might care enough to have a sense of urgency and sincerely appreciate my hard earned dollars.

I thought I'd give this store a chance even after I read the negative reviews on this website and others. Put a Sofa and love seat (about $1750) on layaway for about a little over a month and then paid everything off on 11/6/2018. The associate at the counter set my delivery date for 11/19/2018, but little did I know (until I received a delivery confirmation email on 11/17/2018) that I was only going to get my sofa. Sure enough, Ashley Furniture had split up my order under two separate order numbers for some reason (and it had nothing to do with item availability, because they told both were available when I paid everything off), and scheduled the delivery just for my Sofa only. Not both like they were supposed to do. I called the store today (unfortunately the delivery folks are closed on Sundays) and I get the usual maybe they couldn't schedule the loveseat because it wasn't in stock. I told the rep that both were in stock when I finished paying for the items back on 11/6. They had even offered a 11/12/2018 delivery date for both items!! Of course the delivery for my sofa is set for 11/19/2018 between 10am-1pm and there's little chance they'll be able to add my sofa to the truck. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does make it on the truck. Of course the rep at the store failed to notice that they broke my original order into two and didn't schedule the delivery for my loveseat when they did for the sofa. I'll update this review after I see how things go. Update: 11/18/2018, 5:58PM: Just called the store and now they're telling me my loveseat is on back order at least until 11/26. I think I will cancel my delivery since Ashley Furniture failed to tell me that when I paid them back on 11/6 and go to the store to get my money refunded. I'm sure they'll respond with their usual "we attempted to you but..." response. I'll continue to update the progress. Update (11/19/2018): I'm changing my rating from 3-star to 5-star for the following reasons: 1. I received a call from one of the customer service rep from the store (very helpful) an hour before my delivery and she said my loveseat would be on the same truck with my sofa. 2. Spoke to the customer service rep (very friendly) at the delivery warehouse and she said that both items were on the truck. Just two different order numbers. She sent me a delivery confirmation email with both items. The items came in wrapped in protective plastic/material and the delivery personnel were very goo. The quality of the sofa/loveseat is pretty good. No damage at all. Overall satisfied with everything.

The store staff was great. They were not pushy and gave us space to look around, but were there to answer questions. I was also happy with the pricing. It was the delivery staff that was no so good. The crew leader literally had wadded up tissue paper stuffed into his nose. He had a cold or the flu and shouldn't have been out making deliveries. The delivery crew spoke Spanish most of the time that they were in my home. If they want to speak a foreign language in the truck, that's fine. But, in customer's homes they should not be communicating in a foreign language. The delivery crew left a trail of little Styrofoam balls from my front porch, through my house, up the stairs, down the hall, and into my bedroom. They made no effort to clean up their mess. The delivery crew left my front door wide open while assembling the furniture. Yes, the door needed to be open for them to move the furniture in, but after that they should have closed it. The incoming air currents certainly helped spread the previously mentioned Styrofoam balls all over the place and also sent my air conditioner into overdrive. It looks as though a bag of silica beads was torn open. At least I think that's what it was. The little clear beads were all over the bedroom. While one guy was assembling the bed, another guy sat in a chair in my bedroom to play on his phone. Dirty sweaty delivery guys should sit on customer's furniture without being invited. And, instead of playing on his phone, he should have been cleaning up the Styrofoam and silica beads. Again, I had no problems with the sales staff. But, I'm really disappointed with the delivery crew and the mess they left me to clean up. Prior to the delivery crew's arrival, I made a special trip to the ATM to pick up tip money. The ATM at my nearby branch was down for service, so I had to drive to a different bank branch. This was special trip. I literally went out, just to get these guys tip money. You can bet, that the tip money remained in my wallet. Too bad they were so sloppy and messy. They each would have had and extra $10. Their loss.

The store atmosphere is great and our salesman, Christopher was super knowledgeable and made our purchase an easy one. We purchased an entire living room set, spent a couple of grand and paid in full. However, their delivery process is a complete debacle and needs to be fixed - when you are spending a large amount of money, you definitely expect to have an easy and prompt delivery process. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and when you call the store to speak to management about the problem, nobody seems to know what is going on and pawn it off on a different Manager that you don't actually get to speak with. Long story short our FIRST delivery only included 2 of the 3 pieces of furniture we purchased, apparently the sofa "wasn't arriving until that day and it wouldn't make it on the truck"....then proceed to say it will be another 5 days until the sofa can be delivered. Ummmm yeah no, that wasn't working for me - it had already been almost 2 weeks that it took for delivery to begin with and I was not having that. I called and plead my case and alas the couch is being delivered today - between 2 and 10....what kind of delivery timeframe is that?? (ETA: our couch was delivered at 11:30PM - yes at 11:30PM...we were already in bed....as they were bringing the couch in they noticed a defect, so back on the truck it went! OMG, at this point its almost midnight!) It's just crazy to me, I've never had this much trouble trying to get furniture delivered. I will say that the delivery guys were awesome, very professional and super nice, even with it being midnight and they had been working in the heat all day.....Ashley Furniture - your ordering process and your delivery warehouse definitely need some work!!! Listen to your customers..... ETA: We FINALLY received our couch today 6/12/17 - at an appropriate time and the delivery guys were awesome - couch is great! Warehouse still needs to get on the ball with this delivery process that is in place.

Ordered my bed and headboard 12/29 I was told delivery would be on 1/2/16, I called the delivery line on 1/2/16, the gentleman that answered told me he couldn't find my account and transferred me to the store( Live Oak). The lady that answered told me exactly like this" the person that transferred you over, transferred you because he didn't have the balls to tell you that you won't be getting delivered today, supposedly I had a hold on my credit application. I asked for a manger because I just had sold my bed, I was given Matt in which he advised me that he had a porter and he was going to verify the bed was still in the store and see about having that delivered to me so I wouldn't have to sleep on the floor, of course no call back. I called back that evening and spoke with Julia and she didn't know anything about what was going on. I explained to her and she said she would inform Matt to contact me after his Sunday morning meeting, guess what no call. I called Sunday evening got Javier and he knew a little of my situation said my credit was fine and unsure why I had a hold but since it was Sunday he couldn't call the credit center because they were closed but told me he would contact me Monday no later then 3pm, guess what no call back so I called and spoke with Jorge and he said he would contact me 20 to 30 min and it's been over an hour, I called the headquarters and spoke with sherry and she said she would call back to love oak and see about having a mattress delivered today and guess what??? No call back. I had to call back for the 4th time today and Jorge told me that his email has not been responded to so he is unaware of my delivery date. I demanded the main manager and advised I need a mattress this evening, he put me on hold and guess what??? He transferred me to the call center, the representative said he was a manager at the call center and told me that he didn't see a hold on my account and that he saw a delivery date of the seventh, I said I need to speak with live oak to get a mattress today. Spoke with Julia again and she said it's still on hold unsure of the delivery date but since no issues are with my credit she would see if I can get next day flight, so The soonest I could get my mattress that's still at the store would be tomorrow and advised that she will get with her manager and she would call me back soon. Should I assume I'm going to get a call back? I've had enough with them, I'm about to have an anxiety attack because of all this stress they are putting on me. I tell you this is the worst experience ever, worst customer service, not true to their word, don't care about the customers just the sale! I will make a complaint on yelp and BBB and will continue with the headquarters! As of 1/4/16 I spoke with Julia in which she assured me her manager Abi would contact me before he left for the evening in response to getting my purchases delivered tomorrow 1/5/16 and guess what no call!

STAY AWAY!!! This is by far the worst furniture store I've encountered. They are beyond incompetent and indifferent to their customers. Background: My wife and I live in two different states for the time being. We went shopping and spent thousands on the perfect furniture set before our wedding. We set a delivery date a month out so that we could save hundreds for her flight so that she could be here to help set up the furniture. We had a delivery date set. First off, Ashley did their part and contacted us three days in advance and confirmed our time but notified us that our couch could not be delivered with the rest of the furniture. We thought that was a little disappointing in that the company had over one month to get their affairs in order but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Secondly, we notified them in advance that we could not be there for the first hour of our mandated delivery time. We as the customer had no choice in determining what times we could be available. It was mandated to us by the company. We had prior engagements scheduled so we called ahead to let the company know we could not be at home during the first hour. The customer service rep we spoke to assured us that they had made a note in our account and that the delivery driver would call ahead 30 minutes prior to delivery. We however received no such notice. All we received was a voice mail stating that the delivery driver had waited his allotted "20 minutes" and had moved on. A little disappointing that a customer which spent several thousands of dollars and all we were allotted was 20 minutes of the truck driver's time. After the voice mail we called the company (we were on hold for over 20 minutes) in which we spoke to a customer service rep that had no concern and was completely indifferent to our situation. "The driver stuck to our 20 minute policy" is all that we received from their "customer care" phone line. We were finally able to speak with the manager after another 20 minute wait. He was only able to give us "maybes" and "no guarantee" that our furniture could be delivered on the date that Ashley's had agreed to a month in advance. Complete lack of accountability and lack of concern for their customer. The theme here is that the company refuses to look at the big picture and make things right. We were home literally 20 minutes after the delivery driver left. I spent another 45 minutes of my time (and gas) to drive to the store in Live Oak in the rain to see if the store could actually provide customer service. Nope. Nothing. All I got was a cold "your furniture is in the warehouse and all of our driver's are off of work". I found this to be completely amusing because our delivery time frame ended at 8:30pm but it was only 8 PM. The warehouse is located in New Braunsfels which is roughly 30 minutes from our residence. I can only assume that the delivery team and their leadership wanted to call it an early Saturday night and not deliver thousands of dollars worth of furniture to their customer as promised. As you can imagine my wife and I are completely livid . We asked to get our money back but once again the store stuck to their " 48 hour refund policy" versus making it right for the customer. If management does not show leadership and make things right then this store is beyond hope. However, I can tell by the number of salesmen sitting around and doing nothing that this place is horrendous. Someone should have stepped in and put these idle workers to work by hopping in the truck and delivering the furniture as promised.

Pros: Furniture looks great, no issues with furniture that was delivered. Delivery employees were nice and professional(they did scuff up the walls a little bit but it was going up stairs, can't really blame them for that). Sales Employees were nice and professional and the building at DeZavala was a great furniture store when walking through. Cons: Disclaimer: If something is missing or is messed up below is what possibly could happen. If everything is delivered correctly and you have no issues on the first delivery than ashleys furniture is great. First let me start with the person who sold the furniture was a sales manager. When I purchased the bedroom furniture the sales manager either did it on purpose(commission) or on accident gave us two bed springs for our king size mattress. This mattress is known as Platinum according to ashleys furniture. The problem with this is that the bed is almost at the same height as the top of the headboard. Myself and my wife had to jump into bed(not joking). Before delivery the confirmation call had asked me are you sure you want the bed springs because your bed may be higher than usual. My question to the nice lady was how high was it. Not much of a difference she replied(recommendation to lady, it is STUPID HIGH). I said okay then you can deliver the way it is suppose to come. Not knowing how absurd the height was i would have said give me bunky boards instead. Well we called customer service the same afternoon. Spoke to a different manager who gave us the same robotic speech you hear from other managers about the misunderstanding. They said they will work on getting this figured out and give us a call back. Next day i called them back not wanting to wait. Spoke to manager again. They next delivery was to swap out the bedsprings for bunky boards next available date was a week later on a day that we are unavailable to get off. This makes it difficult for people who work monday through friday 8-5. I proposed to the manager that I have a truck and i can drop off the bed springs and pick up the bunky boards from their warehouse. They said unfortunately this will not work they won't be available. (currently i'm at the point of ticked off). So she said she will get with me on figuring this out. Waited another day for manager to call me back. No call back. I called back before they closed and spoke to the sales manager who sold me the furniture. Told him the story and he explained that it must have been an error in the system and he will get them delivered to us on a tuesday which was easier than the wednesday. I confirmed the date and which tuesday and he said no problem. Tuesday comes and no confirmation call for delivery. I call customer service and find out he scheduled it for that Thursday instead. (Now i'm furious) Thursday comes bedsprings are replaced to bunky boards. I now can get into bed without jumping and I still have to go into the store to get a refund of the bunky board and bedspring difference. This whole thing could have been easier. It led into more issues then it needed to be. Ashley's furniture was a great store. I love the furniture. The experience afterwards has led me to never buy from them again. If you are willing to go thorugh a fiasco like this then I would recommend the store. But if something possibly goes wrong then you will go through some pain.
