Heather was my sales person and she was excellent. Spent a lot of time with me , tried to find exactly what I wanted and explained everything.

We found what we wanted in under 30 minutes and then waited over 2 hours while the sales team exercised high pressure, shady practices. Terrible experience!

Our Salesperson was new but was helpful. We went in on the basis that we would receive a free Stanley cup with our purchase as the commercial we watched that day mentioned. However, we were told afterwards that the promotion was only for July 4th which was very misleading.

I really enjoyed my visit at Ashley’s! As soon as I walked in I was met with friendly man! Asked me what I was looking for and did everything to help me take it home! I have a lovely sofa, love seat and chair and ottoman at a great price! Thank you so much I love them!

Hector took incredible care of our needs. First time to shop for furniture in years and it was a pleasure. Hector walked us directly to what we were looking for and took care of our purchase without any added pressure. We will return to Ashley and specifically to ask for Hector again.

First, their 90 days same as Cash offer, has a 12% fee that they don't tell you about until you're about to sign for something more expensive than the original quote. I cancelled the payment option and opted to pay cash instead. This created a second account for me instead of overriding the first one. Which in turn caused confusion with their warehouse and our promised delivery date was not set up correctly. We never received a notification, on the month out delivery date that was set up. And we were told it would be another month before they had all items to deliver. We asked for a refund. All of a sudden they said oh let's talk to the warehouse and get a better delivery option. We said you have until over the weekend to fix this or refund our money. There was spotty communication over the weekend that it was trying to be resolved. Then our delivery date came and went. Trying to just get our furniture we offered another date, a week out to get it delivered. No response. Tired of the lack of communication and obviously the lack of not having the furniture we paid a pretty penny for we again asked for a refund. The sales person said ok it will be done tonight. The next day nothing. We went in to again say hey give us our money back... The sales manager said and I quote "I don't have time to refund your money". Then proceeded to say "yeah dispute it on your card that's probably easier". Overall a horrible experience from the first sales person lying about the 90 day same as Cash, the second sales person not deleting the first account like he said he would which caused the majority of the issues, neither sales people stating that their delivery dates are not guaranteed, down to the sales manager with his holier than thou attitude and inability to take responsibility for his team and warehouse.

The 4th of July sale was extended and we got great savings. Miles greeted us and helped us to the very end. The customer service was outstanding. Going back for another bedroom set in August.

Bought over $15,000.00 worth of furniture here only to be treated like garbage after my purchase. One piece of furniture was defective. They did not want to honor the warranties, and other shady practices. DO NOT BUY HERE. Specifically this sales person called LEXI. May Karma find her way to you soon 📿⚖️

They delay and reschedule delivery without notifying you. This, after expressing explicit concern based on online reviews about how long pieces take and ensuring receipt includes confirmed delivery date. On top of that you can’t get in touch with an actual person on their phone tree.

Mr. Gutierrez was professional, polite, and very informative. He asked questions about what I was interested in purchasing. He showed me several options that was available. He also showed me different price ranges. And the best thing of all he didn’t try to pressure me to purchase anything. He took his time again to show me what was available. If I could leave no stars I would. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley Furniture ever again. While our sales lady at the store was fabulous and had extreme good customer service I will encourage everyone to go to a different store. If you purchase furniture from this place you can go ahead and prepare to never get it. I have been given the run around from everyone I’ve spoken to and called about the delivery of my bedroom set. I purchased this order over a month ago and every time I schedule the delivery via the automated text system, the delivery never gets fulfilled even though I was told by a manager that the items were available at the warehouse. HORRIBLE PLACE BUYER BEWARE!

My husband and I were in search for a couch and worked with a great sales person name Raina. She was kind, informative, and detailed. We told her we wanted to think about our purchase and have a private conversation before we moved forward. She left to "get her business card" (which we ultimately found out was digital and she never needed to leave), and some manager named Richard came out. Because we weren't ready to jump into a sale immediately, Richard came over with his "used car salesman" pushy tactics. Completely ruined everything that we just went thru and ultimately cost a sale to this associate and the store. Because we loved the furniture, we went to the Live Oak store and had a much better experience. Resulting in a sale and extra discounts. When we told them about our experience at Dezavala, they weren't surprised and we were not the first ones to come over and make a purchase from Live Oak instead. If I could give negative stars to this store, I would. But instead, I'll use this review to tell y'all go to the Live Oak location and have a much better experience at a location that is clearly doing something right - which is why Live Oak has been upgraded and looking much nicer than this place.

My family went to Ashley’s to buy bedroom furniture for my two kids. A couple of days later, I received a call that I needed to come back into the store for additional paperwork that should only take a few minutes. That took around an hour since I was then dealing with a different salesperson. Delivery is horrible.. received the text/email to confirm delivery appointment. Set that up only to hear the day before that the foundations for the bed were on back order. Worked through text messages to find out when those would be in and rescheduled for the following week. I was at work and had a friend accept delivery and come to find out the foundations were still not delivered as promised. What are we supposed to do now, two kids still can’t sleep in their rooms.. mattresses against the wall so they don’t get dirty and now Ashley won’t even respond to my texts. My kids cleaned out their rooms two weeks ago and have been sleeping on the couch and still stuck there since we can’t get an order from last month. Don’t trust this store, they don’t care about the customers and won’t even return a text message to explain what happened. My husband is now attempting to call but is getting wrapped up in the AI runaround.

Jose Gutierrez answered the phone when I called about a Furniture piece. He was very knowledgeable about the item I was interested in and because he couldn’t be there the following day when I was coming into shop, he set me up with Rubi who was most courteous and delightful to visit with. Our purchase was a success!

I had the best experience at the Ashley store especially with my salesman Richard Guerra he was very helpful, understanding, and new exactly what I wanted without me even telling him. He made my first furniture purchase a great one and I can’t wait to see everything in my new home. I will definitely be referring all my friends and family to Richard and I will never go to another furniture store besides Ashley!

I have been complaining about a mattress that i purchased after two weeks of having it . The customer service has been terrible on switching out for a different mattress . This location has the worst customer service. I wish so badly I would’ve gone with another furniture store . Never again !!!!! You better off going somewhere else .

Sales Rep Aaron was SUPER professional with introducing us to an assortment of Ashley furniture and being a keep part in helping us choose and select what was right for our home. No salesman ”pitch” but allowing us to see what he saw as new home owners and what was suitable for our tastes! Very personable and friendly while maintaining a spirit of excellence in his profession!!!!

Staff was great, prices are questionable. All sales final once delivered scared me off and I canceled the order before leaving the store.

Delivery was 45 minutes late, past the 3 hour delivery window that is given. And after I received a text that the delivery had arrived at my house. Made me wonder if my furniture was delivered to the wrong address. Not the best customer service experience.

Ashley store in i10 San Antonio is great. A lot of chooses and great prices. Our sales rep Aaron was very good and helpful. Friendly and sending regular updates. The other great thing was having the delivery updates from a bot and tracking their time and schedule was very helpful. Definitely a positive experience!

We had a bad experience with a previous furniture store which never delivered our furniture. We called Ashley and we spoke with Q. She was so helpful and understanding with our situation and frustration and worked with us in getting the bedroom set that we wanted. She was a joy to talk to with her bubbly personally. Horrible communication and customer service. A manger in store helped me to order 2 items for delivery a month in advance. On delivery day 1 of the items was incorrect (a bar stool instead of a desk). I went in store the next day to resolve the issue and was told only the person who helped me could assist, I waited 30 minutes for the manager to never come up to the front. Finally a sales person got my information and said the manager would call me in the next hour. After 2 hours of waiting I called and was able to speak with the manager and explain the issue. He stated he would get back to me by end of day but never called. The next morning I called again for an update. He stated he looked in to the sales order and that someone (he did not know who as there was only initials left on the sales order, but it was being looked into apparently) had thought the desk was out of stock and changed it to a bar stool. This made no sense to me at all, if an item became out of stock why did they not contact me to inform? They instead change the out of stock item to a completely random item? The manager said that the desk was now actually out of stock and he had no timeline on when it would be back in or when it could be delivered at this time. At this point I was very frustrated I just requested a refund as I had paid in full and thankfully that came through in a couple of days. I would recommend not ordering from this location, I understand errors happen but resolving issues is definitely put on the back burner for them.

Tony was great! He worked with my indecisiveness and allowed me adequate time to make my decision without making me feel rushed. The entire process went smoothly and customer service was exceptional!

Horrible delivery service. They delivered the $2000 couch torn up and then my husband had to go back to the store physically since no one in customer service could help us! Then when my husband went back to the store to ask for a manager, they lied and said no one was available and they didn’t even care because the “sale was already done” I was a loyal Ashley Furniture customer and I’ll never buy furniture ever again from them. They also damaged our door trying to deliver a torn up couch, to which I have photos of the damaged “new” couch they attempted to deliver. The automated text message for customer service is garbage and I regret trusting this company again!

Sales man I had was to pushy. I had a few questions about the item fitting in my car he gave me a little attitude about it and kept saying it will fit even though he didn't know anything about what I drove.

Salesmen will tell you anything to get your signature on a purchase, then they don’t care. There is absolutely no management to get any issues resolved. Try calling for one right now and see. If you have to buy from Ashley it is much better to order directly online. At least then you can talk to someone on the phone and there is a return policy. Buy from the store and it’s yours no matter what. If you have any doubt, go early on a Saturday and talk to the line of frustrated people at the counter on the left.

Ruby is AMAZING!! Shopped and purchased at a different location and had a terrible experience. After multiple attempts to speak to a manager, I decided to call a different location. Ruby answered the phone and walked me through the issues I was experiencing. Ruby did not have to do this! She was not the salesperson I purchased from and did not benefit in anyway. What Ruby did was ‘Above and Beyond’ and gratefully appreciated!! I will only shop with Ruby from now on.

I came to the store to look at some other furniture. They had the sectional That we liked, so we went ahead and applied for the 36 no Interest. Our approval is no problem, the problem was with their negotiation, and when everything was put on paper when we got home, the price that was given to us was Short a piece of furniture, so I had to go all the way back to Ashley’s to fix this once I get there trying to fix this issue. I sat in the store for 45 minutes going back-and-forth with these people about this interest rate that I’m supposed to get, finally come to conclusion so I thought and go about my day. once I get to my new destination I start going over these documents. Here we go again the same nonsense. My interest rate changed from 0 to 12 months 29.9% interest what the heck wasted my time going to that store that is 45 minutes away from where I live, took away time from my job to stop by to fix this issue. I don’t know if they are just not knowing what they’re doing or they’re intentionally messing with us. I can , took away time from my job to stop by to fix this issue. My in-store experience was pleasant, however, my delivery service and interactions afterwards were extremely disappointing. My item was delivered to the wrong address and I was given the run around and false promises from everyone I spoke to on the phone from the corporate number to the store. A week later, I am still waiting for a call back from upper management. Will not be spending money here again.

Tony was an excellent sales representative as he was not pushy but most of all he listen as he was very aware of what we wanted to purchase. He presented options that were similar to what we desired (color wasn't the same) and walked the options better. Great visit with an outstanding professional.

Stay away from this place. Worst service trying to get damaged items replaced. Items on a $5k purchase were delivered damaged and now have to file a claim on warranty. Six weeks so far trying and now being told they will try to “repair” the items. Paid full price and now expected to live with repaired items delivered damaged . This is totally unacceptable.

Hello, I want to share my first experience stepping inside the Ashley store. My partner and I went just to browse and possibly in the market for a king size mattress when Daniel the sales person introduced himself immediately while we walked in. I didn’t mind the assistance and eagerness to show us around the store to see the wide range of mattresses and bed set products. Everything was going good until my partner and I felt very pressured to jump on the deal being offered at the time. I started to become less interested due to the sales tactics and tricks under their sleeve to run my credit and get us to commit. Then Daniel brings in the big boss and really that didn’t help the situation at all. The manager started to be to pushy and loved to rebuttal back when I objected of not purchasing any item at the moment. I see now that Ashley should be called Ashley furniture & car sales where they will push granny out the way just to try and make that deal happen.

Went to Ashley to order a electric recliners. It was fast and easy. I am looking forward to and fast and easy deliver and set up. I was very happy with the greeting and service I received from Daniel Brenner. Before I left, I also received a receipt and details by email. They will also advise me by text when they are to deliver. And it's possible that it will be sooner than expected. That would be wonderful.

Went in today determined to get a new sofa as I’ve been hauling around my old college furniture for years now. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and was told about specials and allowed to browse alone for a bit, which was nice. After a few minutes of browsing the same rep, Rubi, came over when she overheard different questions I had about the sectional I was looking at. She answered all the questions I had ( and trust there were a lot ) and was really able to pinpoint what I did and didn’t like in a sofa. She then showed me a few different ones she thought I would like. Showing me different set ups and moving around furniture to help me visualize. She even took the time out to draw up my living room space and show how the different sectionals could be arranged in my space. Overall she was pleasant, fun, and definitely was more focused on finding something I would love than treating me as another sale. She also was full of knowledge and had a solution to all my concerns and knew so much about the products! We were able to find all the things I needed and more. Thank you so much Rubi for the great experience and I will definitely be recommending others to come shop with her and will be back for more in the future!

Worst customer experience & service ever! Went in for a bedroom & living room set paid all cash. Sales representative hector at De Zavala lied about how long the furniture will come in. Kept calling customer service and would go in person and could’ve never get a manager on the line or a manager in person. Not only that they delivered the wrong bedroom set and delievery guys didn’t want to take it back. All they care about is making a sale.

Customer service and expectations are not met at this location. I was told twice that when my items were delivered that it will be put together at my house. Not only did that not happened it was delivered to the wrong house. In addition, the hardware package in side was opened. I called the store spoke with Aaron and he was extremely rude and condescending. I ended up going to the store to speak with a manager, who explained the delivery was not setup right. As a returning Ashley Furniture customer, we knew where to go to purchase our new sofa. After 2 trips to measure, select and purchase, Myles was so patient and helpful and really closed the deal on our purchase. We will continue to recommend Ashley Furniture and our favorite salesman Myles.

Maria my sales person did an amazing job. She knows the product, followed up and made sure our delivery went well. The delivery drivers who came to my house were friendly, welcoming and super funny. They came in with positive fun vibes. Overall we had a great experience. One thing I did want to note is that the store lacks customer service when you call about a question. No one knew how to answer my question except for my sales person. No one knew where to direct my phone call in her absence. They really need a customer service team there and someone professional to answer the phones. It’s not the sales people fault but rather the fault of the company policy. Overall the team made up for it and I give it an overall great score.

Not sure how you spell it, but Qaram or Karam did very well for his first day on the floor. Very informative and courteous. He had assistance from Lexy who was more experienced. The two make a great team and give me the best deal! Will be coming back for sure.

The worst place to ever buy furniture. The customer service is horrible sales people not willing to help. They ordered the wrong thing you can’t return it you can’t get your money back. You can only get a store credit not willing to help put all the fault and blame on the customer, I would not recommend this furniture store to anyone. I wouldn’t recommend this place to the devil. Their corporate structure is deplorable. Their customer service has taken a turn for the worst. They treat veterans like second-class citizens. I was just told today that there’s no one in the corporate office that I can talk to pertaining to my issue.

Not happy with Ashley services at all. Didn’t notice a wobbly table and broken end table because the delivery guy place away from my view and distracted me asking for a glass of water then when i turned around they were at the front door asking me to sign off. Something told me to wait and properly check the furniture before they left but I didn’t. Once I noticed that some things were wrong with the furniture I quickly called myles the sales rep who told me to call to make a claim which I couldn’t do for at least 24 hours then when I had more questions he sent a text that he’d call me back but didn’t so once I made a claim all they have done is send me the leather material to my house? Im so upset how I have been treated by this company and I would never recommend them again!

She was great in helping me out and gave me space and time as I walked around and found the perfect couch for my new apartment. She was friendly and very knowledgeable and helped me to understand all of Ashley furnitures options including financing, delivery, discounts, and protection plans. I was very happy with my purchase and received a great couch at a discount! They truly have an option for everyone at every price range, from the ultra posh and trending furniture to the more budget friendly but still attractive furniture pieces. I’ll definitely keep Ashely furniture as a top consideration for any future furniture needs.

I will never EVER purchase from Ashley again!!! The salesperson was supposed to update my delivery address as it was different from my billing address and that didn't happen. The delivery guys show up to my billing address and to get a hold of any person is almost imposible. Items were returned and had to reschedule for another delivery.They scheduled me for the soonest date available because of course we work on there schedule. I called several times to request a manager to call back and that never happened. Funny when you show up to the store to "look around" they're like vultures but when customer service is needed NO ONE IS AROUND. They set another delivery date after speaking to a manager who offered me a $175 for a "next time " purchase as if I am having such awesome experience. I declined the joke of an offer.. we paid a lot for the furniture 4k. They finally deliver and the couch is torn. Delivery guys state someone will call us, we don't get a call I call customer service and am on an eternal hold. I finally get a hold of someone that asked me the same questions 2 or 3 times and apparently works at the corporate office. I AM NOW WAITING ON THEM TO CALL ME BACK and no couch and now having to set another deliver date to whatever day they might have my couch. Do yourself a huge favor DO NOT BUY from Ashley. Save your time and money. They are the worst I've ever had to deal with. I should have read the previous reviews. Shame on me.

I will never purchase from Ashley again! I said this once before and decided to give them another chance 2 years later. These people are liars. The first time we went in 2022, we were made to think that our furniture was in stock and would be delivered within a week. Of course this didn’t happen. Long story short, we didn’t receive our dining set until 5 months later. We tried canceling but were told we would have to pay a restock fee…RESTOCK FEE FOR WHAT? How do you charge a restock fee for something that isn’t in stock??? We stupidly tried to give them another chance in March 2024 and specifically asked the salesman if the sectional we chose was in stock. He said no but we would get it by mid-April. That was the red flag that we ignored. We didn’t want to wait but we didn’t need it immediately so we went through with the purchase. I later went onto the website to find the sectional so I could send the pictures to my parents and sister. When I found the sectional it stated it was on back order and it would take 3-5 months for it to come in. I called customer service to confirm and sure enough, they had no idea when the sectional would be in. The guy said it could come in before or it could take longer than 5 months. I asked for a refund and the guy kept trying to force me to keep the sectional. I told him no I wanted a refund and after some time he just hung up. We ended up calling again and speaking with someone else. She stated they could give us 20% off so we decided to keep it. A week later I called back (because I still had not received my refund nor any email confirming the refund) just to find out it was never processed and I’d have to wait an additional 7-10 days to receive my refund. If the furniture is not in stock…do not buy from these people. They will lie just to get the sale. If the salesman was honest from the start, we would’ve been fine waiting for it but as I stated before, this was the second time they lied to us in a 2 year time period which means this is common practice for them. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

He helped us load and made sure we were content and our load was clean and secure even when that is not job to do so. He is truly a great asset to this store. Sales team at the store was good, but did not mention the fine print in the sales contract included “ALL SALES FINAL” with no refunds or exchanges clause. Delivery was quick and efficient with frequent updates provided. Minor repair/adjustment on one piece of delivered furniture was mostly automated and experienced glitches. Overall a B+ experience and will return for future furniture needs.

Our sales rep, GiGi Was helpful and also patient. She showed us all the adult beds in the store. She explained things about the beds that were not obvious obvious, such as variable, backboards available, bedside tables that were also capable of charging a phone or other item, and the different kinds of drawers. She patiently let my daughter go through all the major iterations of the smart mattress. Usually, I don’t let the sales person manage me but I’m glad I did this time. And besides that there were many options and colors in the beds, dressers and bedside tables. I highly recommend both Ashley store and GiGi.

DO NOT BUY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY - SCAM!! 5 Years ago I purchased the No Use No Lose warranty from Ashley at the San Antonio location off of I-10. Fast forward 5 years in November of 2023, and I was purchasing furniture with Ashley's again and asked about my No Use No Lose warranty and the credit I was expecting. The New Braunfels Sales Agent told me that I would have to issue a request for the credit, which he would do on my behalf. He gave me copies of all the paperwork he was turning in to get me my credit. I specifically asked if my credit could be used towards the purchase that I was completing with him that day, which he told me no it couldn't and that I would have to receive the credit first to then use later. I asked him if there was a time limit on using the credit once received, as I was made aware (that day - never in my original warranty form does it say there is a time limit to request the credit) there was a time limit on requesting the credit once the 5 years hit. He told me no that I could use it whenever. Well, I went to buy a coffee table with Ashley, this March and I again asked about my credit. This was a different sales agent at the same San Antonio store where the warranty was originally purchased, and he told me that my credit request got denied. He showed me the requests and their statuses that read denied. I was stunned and he had let me know that it had needed to be used that December anyways. He said that he could put in another request for me for the credit after listening to my story and provided me with the customer service number. I called customer service and magically they couldn't find the original requests for the credit saying that I never requested it, even though I had paperwork saying I did. In addition, I learned that the New Braunfels sales agent didn't know what he was doing. Even if he processed the paperwork correctly, he needed to attach it to a layaway order, which remember, I had asked if the credit could be applied to my current order that I was completing with him that day. Do not buy the additional warranty they try to sell you when purchasing furniture from Ashley, it's a total scam! They don't train their sales associates on how to request the credit for you, credit requests magically disappear in their system, and they do not communicate to you or provide you documentation at the time of sale the hidden time limits of when and how to use your credit. Total scam and waste of money

Check the prices ONLINE! The store is NOT TRANSPARENT and the online pricing is WAY DIFFERENT. Apparently it’s a franchise so they determine their own prices. Not a single thing was the exact price online compared to the store. Sales associate was great, but the practices of this organization are shady.

No stars!!!!! Worst experience of my life! I was spending 10k on a mattress and adjustable frame that was promised to me within a week. I was scheduled for back surgery in 3 weeks and needed the bed. Lies from the salesman, more lies from manager after manager. No one knows what anyone else is doing. Worst in-house communication I have ever seen. They wasted my time. They tried to sell me new bedroom furniture in a different size because after 3 weeks they claimed my Cal King bed was an “odd “ size. Because my mattress order couldn’t be located ! They were charging me for things I didn’t need. I finally cancelled my order. 3 weeks of stress with Ashley Furniture. 3 weeks of my life I’ll never get back! This is THE WORST company ever! I will never step foot in an Ashly Furniture Store again! I ended up going direct to Temperpedic and will have my bed in a week! On a side note, once I told my friends and family that I went to Ashley, every single one of them told me a horror story about this company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT ASHLEY!

The inventory and the customer service was superb. But when it came to paying it was a nightmare. Their card terminal wasnt working, and they seem to know there was problems with their terminals, hence why they didnt try another terminal- im guessing🤷🏾‍♀️. I tried 3 cards, called the bank & both credit cards that said it was the merchant. i said i should have just gone online and purchased, so then the associate got the idea to do the transaction as a layaway plan, email it to me, and pay that way. Which I did. And surprise surprise my ORIGINAL method of payment worked. I will be shopping Ashley Furniture ONLINE from now on.

My sister and I walked into Ashley on Saturday, February 17th. 3 sales people were standing in the entrance area. One of the gentleman walked by us ( did not speak) and greeted the couple that came in behind us. We laughed that they didn’t want to help us because we were 2 females. I was shopping for a rocker/recliner. Needless to say, went elsewhere and was treated with respect and courtesy. Found just the right chair, it was delivered and put where I wanted it on Wednesday. Neza finally asked if we needed help. She told us delivery is free, they set the purchase at the end of the drive way, seriously. Last trip to Ashley if shopping for furniture.

Appreciate the attentiveness and knowledge of who helped me. She took me around trying to find what I had in mind and offered suggestions and I went with it. Worked with me on figuring out the best finance options and had the best amount of patience. I went to store in Selma a couple of weeks ago to purchase some items…… I’ll stick with this store and its out of my way. That’s how great the experience was!

The delivery contractor caused damages to my property inside my home. They put the sectional sofa together in a hurry so they were not being careful at all. They dented a wall by carelessly letting a section of the couch roll off the dolly! Then they dragged another section across the floor and pulled a lamp off the table by the cord!

I'm revising my earlier review from 5 stars. On Monday we purchased a couch and were told there were 12 in stock and one was ours. Today I received a call from the corporate office stating I needed to pick something else because now the sofa was out of stock. When I expressed my displeasure, I was told to contact the store where the couch was purchased. I went and was told sorry, but I had to choose something else and the most they could do was waive the delivery charge. This is wrong. We already made plans for our current couch. Ashley needs to do more than just waive the delivery fee. They also need to find out why we were told we had one of 12 items left to now nothing was left for us. Unacceptable.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! I TOOK THE TIME TO WARN PEOPLE BEFORE PRESIDENTS DAY SALE!!! PLEASE READ!!! STORE MANAGER, KIARA/QUIARA (or however you spell it) NORWOOD, TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY HER FRIENDS TO DELIVERY MY FURNITURE BECAUSE THEIR THIRD PARTY DELIVERY COMPANY COULDN'T "VERIFY" MY ADDRESS. She said she was trying to "help" me because she felt bad that their 3rd party delivery company called PICKUP couldn't verify my address that had been in existence for 30+ years. When I told her I couldn't pay cash she outright she told me my only other option was to refund my delivery fees so I can rent a U-Haul to go pick up items myself. I spent over 4 hours in the store picking out items AND they ran my credit only to tell me they wouldn't/couldn't deliver. I didn't have another way to get the furniture so I asked for a REFUND RECEIPT and she said, "We don't do those." I asked who she reported to, she said "Only me," and refused to give additional information of who I could escalate the issue to. Then she tried telling me she could lose her job by offering me a separate delivery but she was trying to help.  When I told her this was the worst customer service I had ever experienced, she replied with, "Ma'am it sounds like you don't want to be helped."  So admittedly, I hung up on her.  I texted Neza, the furniture rep who I bought the furniture from, that I would like a refund receipt ASAP.  I went online to look at reviews and WISHED I had done this before going to Ashley Furniture as there are MULTIPLE complaints about this manager AND the store's customer service.  I asked Neza via text if she could confirm Quiara's last name was Norwood.  Less than 10 minutes later, I received a call from Quiara and she told me my delivery would be there the following day and she would refund me my delivery fees for all the trouble. Fair enough. I thanked her and although I didn't get my furniture the next day as she had promised at least I got it the day after that.  Unfortunately, I just got my statement and the DELIVERY FEES ARE STILL THERE. To be fair, I returned to Ashley because they used to have good customer service?  I WAS A RETURNING CUSTOMER. Now? If I could give this ZERO stars, I would. I was approved for over $13K and had every intention of going back to get the rest of my house furnished, but I am canceling my Ashley card, and going with STAR FURNITURE or HAVERTYS over this horrible Ashley Home Store. BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!!

Tony was such a helpful and knowledgeable person. I called the store asking if they had a particular bed I saw online in stock. He checked and said they did. He also told me about the great sale going on that was ending the next day. He texted me later in case I had any questions. He responded very promptly and professionally. When I came in he even convinced showed me the gorgeous nightstands I ended up buying. In all, with the bed and nightstands, he helped me save $800!!!! Incredible!!! By the way, I'm also very impressed with the quality of the furniture. Someone told me it was questionable, but I'll tell you, I'm very picky and noticed the sturdiness and high quality of the pieces! Super excited to get my furniture delivered. 🤗

The furniture is good quality and I had a lot of options for what I was looking for however I felt like the salesman was pressuring me I wasn't giving it a choice whether I wanted extra protection or not he just added it to my bill and he called over another salesman that sold mattresses to give me a spiel I did not appreciate that and I felt very uncomfortable.

I had visited your store earlier in the week and spoke to a Mr. Eric Schaner about looking for a mattress for my mom. He asked questions concerning trying his best to meet my mom’s needs. We narrowed things down. A few days later brought my mom in. Mr. Schaner spoke to my mom about things we had looked at already but if for some reason wasn’t what she wanted. There were plenty of options available to ensure her comfort. All worked out great and appreciated Mr. Schaners taking his time with us on both days.

I've bought furniture before from Ashley and this was by far the worst experience. I bought a $4000 leather couch 5 years ago and I bought the warranty coverage for any accidental damage. If you don't use the warranty they give you store credit after the 5 years. Well that 5 years up and that credit is now. Its a $550 credit. I go to the store, look around a bit, find some items i'm interested in but not firm on anything. One is a new couch that I don't NEED but am somewhat interested in, and then things like end tables or an accept chair. We talked with the sales person and he ONLY focused on the couch and trying to sell us the couch. He barely talked about the accent chair and ignored our request for the end table. We weren't sure the couch would fit and its expensive so we finally steered him towwards us using the current credit for the end tables which are marked at 220 each online. He comes back and says, those are $399 in store, you can only use the credit on in store pricing, and he can't discount it at all. He initially said it was free shipping, and then tried to talk us into the couch again. After we declined the couch again, they magically had a $150 shipping charge as well. So now I had what should have been an $480 purchase with a $550 credit applied, so free or close to free, it turned in to an $800 purchase plus 150 shipping. The sales person just seemed mad about not closing a larger sale, and was getting pushy about it. I walked. He didn't listen about the accent chair, didn't listen about the end tables, only wanted to sell us a couch that we weren't comfortable buying. EVEN MORE frustrating is. In store the couch is 3300 bucks but on Ashley's website its 2900. He WASN'T EVEN GOING TO MENTION THAT or try to sell us the couch at the ashley online price, which is insane. Only after I brought it up and complained that there's a huge price difference did he mention he could apply discounts, and then he started to match the ashley online price and give a little extra discount. But at that point the trust was completely gone. This guy was in it to make a buck, didn't care about what we really wanted, and threw a temper tantrum when we wouldn't spend the amount of money he wanted us to spend. He saw us as a commission check and not people. Avoid going here, this was all around a bad time, and wasted 4 hours of my time over 2 days. Would not recommend unless you've recently decided you hate yourself and want to argue with greedy salespeople.

One item, an end table, did not get delivered with the other pieces of furniture. You cannot dial directly to the store, you have to deal with a phone operator. They said I couldn’t solve this problem today because the final delivery had not processed so call back. I called back again and explained I do not live where this furniture had been delivered, so now this was a big hassle. I asked to pick it up at the store a few miles away but was told I had to either go pick it up in another city at the hub or have it delivered to my house. Your mistake is wasting more of my time, and I’m doing all the work to solve the problem created by your error. I was told a mssg would be given to my sales rep, and she would call me. So now I wait. Y’all should be proactive to solve problems not the customer.

Richard was very nice. I am upset because the delivery of our items was cancelled without us knowing. We waited all day for delivery to not be given a reason for the cancellation. If you live in a rural area, they will not accommodate you as a result of their error and you will have to wait longer for your items. This has also happened to another friend in town so don’t let yourself be next. I guess they don’t like to deliver passed San Antonio.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Horrible experience! These people just lie and tell you anything to make a sale. The first liar Jose Gutierrez sold us a bed without the under storage after being asked multiple times if it all came together. He was to scared to let us know it’s an additional cost so he lied and said it all came together. So when it was delivered we received a bed with no storage. On top of that they sent 3 people who couldn’t speak one word of English. So w instead of us waiting in our home for them we had to go 4 floors down and to the front of the apartment complex to translate and help them get to the apartment. Then we have to be inconvenienced by going back to the store to fix this, where we are lies to again. Now we have to purchase the extra storage and we’re told by the second liar Erika Skrimager that we will have free delivery AND free set up. Well, that was a lie too, so now we have to go out of our way to put together a storage that we were told would be done for us. Then to make matters even worse we contacted Erika and she told us she would call them And have them come back to set it up because she knew she was wrong. Never heard back from her after that, then when we tried to call her again she turns off her phone and ignores us. Worst company and experience.

NEVER AGAIN! i had heard horror stories about ashley's but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well they didn't fail to disappoint me too. my couch is defective and after having 4 different techs come out, instead of exchanging it cuz they cant seem to fix it, all they do is offer another tech appointment. Seems to me they are just trying to run the clock until my warranty expires in a couple of months. I started this dam process months ago! I'm tired of dealing with them. First and last time i will shop there.

The actual buying experience was good. If I could rate that separately I would give 5 stars. 2 stars is due to the poor service I am currently receiving from the delivery side of the house. I set a date for delivery for December 21st. I recieved a text on the 18th confirming my furniture would be delivered that day and I would get a call the morning of to set a delivery time. I took time off of work so I could be home. The morning of the 21st I recieved a text stating the delivery would not be able to be completed without reason. I called the delivery side of the house and the 1st person I talked to couldn't tell me why it wasn't going to be delivered just that it wasn't and asked when would be a good time for us to accept delivery. This employee was very rude and seemed like he couldn't be bothered with my call. I called a 2nd time and this time I was told that unfortunately the furniture just wasn't loaded on the truck which is why the delivery couldn't be made. This is completely unacceptable as I needed this furniture for the gathering I'm having for Christmas. Now I have to wait a whole other week to get my furniture. I should give 1 star for this headache.

Bought recliners and one did not electronically recline from day one. We do not live in the area and only passing through, now claim we have to come to their Texas location. Ashley is a national brand. They would not replace it, claimed they would order parts and send someone to fix it, 3 weeks later and no responses to multiple calls. Ashley should have accepted the return and replaced it. Defective from day one. Still stuck with a broken chair.

We came in for solutions unique to our living room and found so much more. A vast range of styles and prices, with friendly, patient, and courteous staff who gave us room to think and significant promotional discounts. We highly recommend.

Very upset with Ashley furniture. I waited along while to have my furniture delivered. Once they delivered my daughter’s bed frame and other items it was close to 8 pm. The delivery guy were in a rush. And they fixed my daughter’s bed frame really quick. Once I inspected it I saw cracks on the frame and broken Drawers and the Drawers won’t close. I asked what happened one didn’t know what I was saying he stated he only spoke Spanish, I asked the other one what happened he said he didn’t know and for me to call Ashley furniture in the morning. I hope they fix this for me I spent close to $8,000 dollars at Ashley furniture on different items. I did have a good experience with them when they sold me the stuff.

I was satisfied with the level of customer service while I was there and the sales person, Myles was very attentive and knowledgeable therefore I am giving a 5 star rating; however I was disappointed with the fact I was told delivery would be on 12/14 so arrangements were made to be available on that day. We later received a notification that our delivery date was 12/15 and when we called to address this the response of the store was “well we scheduled it for the 15th. What do you want us to do?” My husbands response was “deliver it today (12/14)” and they told us they couldn’t do that. So we had to make new arrangements to be available during their scheduled time which differed from what we were told at the time of purchase. If we could give a separate rating for that it would be zero stars. Our 5 star rating is for the sales person and his patience, knowledge and attentiveness.

Terrible experience. Not only was my shipment delayed, it was delayed multiple times. When I contacted store employees, they were either uninterested or would not assist in the way I would expect. I continued to wait as I had no other options and was looking forward to this particular product. Eventually arrived my expected delivery date after four months of waiting and was once again canceled for another day. Called customer service and they were completely rude and refused to help. After speaking with a different agent, I was promised same day delivery and moved things once again to await my couch and to no surprise It was canceled. Called again and they gave me another delivery date in which I had to move plans around for the third or fourth time and eventually got my product. The couch itself is okay however not worth the hassle. I will not be returning ever again to any Ashley franchise and definitely do not recommend them. If I could I would give this ZERO stars.

The items I ordered were in short supply because it was on sale, my scheduling was a challenge having to ship pieces from various locations, in essence, Saul made the sale, handled logistics and took away the anxiety having to deal with because of the nature of our order. We are very satisfied with our furniture. The quality and the price was great. Just one thing, you kept changing the delivery date. What was supposed to be less than a week turned out to be a more than a month.

Followed around by the salesperson in a very weird way. Ushered out a side exit being told it’s closing but open another hour. Will shop elsewhere when ready to buy.

We did a purchase on 21st of November and due to some reason, we had to cancel the deal, it was less than 24hrs that we did the cancellation and was told the order is cancelled and I will be getting refunded withing 48hrs, but they did not process the refund because we cancelled the order. It's been more than 3 weeks and they still holding up money. The Ashley manager purposely delayed the cancelation and hold the refund amount. The only option we had to get the refund was to put the dispute against in credit card. They will only behave good if you are buying, Please think twice before visiting them, we have suffered because we cancelled the order, and they did not like it. I am glad that we did not went with them. They are mean.

In store prices are up to 3xs the price online. Each store has a different owner and they each charge different amounts. Reviewing our bill now and meeting with the manager now. She said online is cheaper and they dont tell you that when you come in. She "just works here". Now that I know I will make sure to ask for the price online. We spent $6000 cash after the discount. Online was about 2000 cheaper.

I have made multiple purchases at this location with no problem. I would like to say I may never return. Salesman Jose Gutierrez is rude, u professional and disrespectful. He processed my order incorrectly and acted like I made the mistake. Then he took days to correct it. I called this location 5 times to speak to management and each time was promised a return phone call. Never got one. If you do shop here avoid this salesman. He doesn’t care about the customer. He cares about the commission. Truly the worst experience ever. I have never posted a negative review but this was a nightmare

Was an easy process. Wasn’t aware you have to ask them to double check if furniture was in stock once I was given a delivery date during purchase. It’s been a couple of weeks and my delivery date has been changed 3 times. When I questioned what the latest date may be, all I was told was “unfortunately I can’t tell you that”. When I asked if there’s anything I can do (perhaps pick out a different set) since what I ordered was apparently back ordered. I was CONSTANTLY told “unfortunately there’s nothing you can do on your end.” Any type of question I had was met with, “unfortunately no there’s nothing you can do” which wasn’t helpful at all or reassuring. She sounded like she wasn’t even listening. Basically being told once they got my sell they weren’t too worried about anything else. Would have been nice if I was told the set was on back order, I would’ve taken it into consideration when picking out items. No one else has been in touch with me. I’ve called to have someone call me back and no one does either. Would’ve gone elsewhere if I knew how much trouble this would be.

The sales coordinator Qiara advised me that nothing could be done and refused to offer any assistance beyond providing me with a phone number for corporate. She extremely dismissive, claiming that even corporate wouldn't be able to help me. However, after reaching out to corporate myself, I discovered that my order was never canceled. This lack of coordination and miscommunication between the store and corporate only added to my frustration and disappointment. The only positive aspect of this entire ordeal was the lady at corporate Jonelle Clark who took the time to investigate the situation and provide assistance. Her help was greatly appreciated, but it shouldn't have taken such an effort to find a resolution. Based on my experience, I have decided that I will not be shopping at Ashley's Furniture again. The lack of customer service, the automated delivery system, and the overall headache this experience caused has left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that others are aware of these issues and can make an informed choice when considering a furniture purchase at Ashley's.

I have been looking for bar stools and a rug for our 2 year old home since we moved in and he finally found both and a curio cabinet I had been wanting but not found after looking this long!!!!!! Sooo happy! An Ashley is our go to furniture store most all the house is from there !!!! So happy!!! He was not pushy, listened to what I did a didn’t like just listened so refreshing!!!! My experience was horrible. They bombard you at the door follow you around the whole store they make you feel pressured to buying. The sales helping was very unorganized when asked for certain skus he said he didnt know. I should have just kept going to Bob Mills. Also if your applying for the Acima becarful cause they offer 90 day payoff but can't set up payments devived to be pulled each month you have to call and make extra payments so inconvient. I will not be returning to Ashels after getting my merchandise paid.

We were well taken care of, as always. We went to find a specific dining room set, but after we looked at others, we changed our minds. Our sales person showed us different options on the set we were looking for. We found what we liked. Then discovered it was 25% off for Black Friday weekend. Francisco was very helpful and polite and understood our goal financially and our other commitments. He worked with us until we had the results that worked best for us. Our experience was better than anticipated and we will be back soon!

We had an excellent experience today. We went shopping to get 2 new recliners but got such an awesome deal on a 6 piece sofa set with tables. Hector was our salesperson. What we liked best was that he wasn't pushy. He listened to our likes and dislikes and when we liked something he answered our questions. We are very pleased with our purchase and can't wait for delivery.

Great service, no hovering around while trying to have a conversation/chat with a spouse, open to mixing and matching styles and vendors, respectful of time and budget, explained all charges fully. Would just ask that the sales associates pull back on perfume/cologne. When several people are wearing strong perfume, it becomes overwhelming to the buyer; not everyone cares for it. 1/7/2024 UPDATE! After being told that all furniture was available to be delivered within a few weeks and spending OVER 11K (on the spot - no financing) in one trip with this store my opinion has vastly changed of Ashley's to deliver on the contracted promise. We have made a plethora of calls to get the items paid for delivered as correctly. Three items that are a match set have been incorrectly delivered 4 times in different colors and we are still waiting on a return call from a service technician to address an item that could not be assembled correctly because it was received without directions and all the appropriate parts. The missing part has been ordered and is waiting for them at our home but we have yet to hear from anyone. The delivery teams have been VERY professional and apologetic but they can only work with what they have. A manager came out on the last delivery based on my response. This is truly unfortunate that Ashley has placed its reps in this position.

We really enjoyed all of the service staff, they were kind and informative. However, we feel like we got a little ripped off when we though our total would be 300$ cheaper than what we paid due to leaving out a charge that was coming on “frame protection?” Other than that it was a great experience.

Bought a mattress and some cabinets that were to be delivered the day before Thanksgiving. Driver's get there and forgot to bring the mattress. While bringing in one of the cabinets, they damaged it and we couldn't accept it. They told us they would deliver both the mattress and the cabinet later that day. They called us multiple times to tell us it was going to be delivered that night, so we cancelled plans. They didn't make it at 9, didn't make it at 10, couldn't give us an ETA. Ended up cancelling the delivery and told us they would deliver on Friday first thing. Now they are not going to deliver today and first available date is December 28th. Don't trust these folks they will lie.

Only have half of my sectional couch because one piece came damaged. Have no idea when the replacement will be coming and now nowhere to sit when family comes over for thanksgiving.

**3 Updates at the bottom** In June 2023, we purchased a table and 6 chairs with the intention of being able to have people over and have a place to sit and eat during the summer months leading to the fall holidays. Here it is November 22, 2023, and we still cannot use the dining set. When it was delivered and assembled months ago, we noticed 5/6 chairs were super uneven and one of the seats had substantial damage to the seat cushion. Upon mentioning this to the men putting the set together, we were told not to worry as they would set up a time for a technician to come out and adjust them asap. This did not settle well with us, but we felt a little stuck and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, we should have not trusted Ashley Furniture at all. Not only have we been unable to use this terrible set, but we have been stood up on multiple appointments set by the repair company Ashley contracts with. The first- no show, no call. We had to spend hours getting that appointment set after getting the run around and unable to make contact with anyone in Ashley stores for help. They made their sale- we no longer exist for them. 2nd appt was canceled last minute. They then finally got someone out, but all he came for was to look at the furniture and tell us that yup, we were right- it did indeed need to be fixed. Today's appointment was 10.30-1.30- and no one showed nor called. Yet, on all of these occasions, we were expected to be home instead of work to make sure the tech could come in to fix this furniture. We are beyond livid as we now can't even have our Thanksgiving meal at our home as the chairs and table remain in disrepair. I mean, this is a brand new, $2000+ dining set and it is unusable for going on 6 months. Ashley customer service has been non-existent- which is unsurprising as I expect their service to match their obviously poorly crafted furniture. My next step is to go ahead and start filing complaints with the AG's office, the BBB, and anywhere else where I might be able to get help. We have also been trying to get Ashley to just come pick up their set and refund our money with no success, so I will not stop until the set is usable, or out of my sight with my money refunded. If you are considering Ashley for any reason, don't. Go anywhere else that you can get better service and quality, or at least furniture that isn't unusable trash. Can't really photograph wobbliness, but you can see it is raised off the floor while the rest of the legs are on the floor. **Update 6 Days later: Received an email from BBB this morning informing us that they'd sent the complaint to Ashley to resolve. My resolution I filed on the complaint was either a full purchase and delivery refund with them picking it up themselves, or to have all chairs fixed by November 30th. Ashley is sending someone tomorrow with 6 new chairs. Well, maybe. Hopefully they show up and the chairs are brand new and not wobbly. Also, we discovered that Ashley does not do refunds at all, so keep that in mind if you want to chance a purchase as this is not something they mention at all at any point during the sale. As for us, this was the last time we will ever buy from there- the salesman also caused us a lot of grief and though he gave us his card- he never answered 1 call- so no more. We have also decided to become advocates against Ashley due to our experiences. There are better stores with better customer service and no crooks. **The guy brought 6 chairs and 3 were uneven and wobbly. We asked if we could keep the 3 'good' ones and give them our remaining 3 bad ones, but he said we take all 6, or nothing. We took nothing and I filed the complaint. The BBB did take it on as a case and it is still currently open. I also went deep diving on the net looking for ways to contact Ashley corporate. I did email the ceo, and have gotten an entire email list of all Ashley's corporate-am ready to email daily. 7th appt today ** Required 8th appt to finally resolve. Good riddance Ashley forever. Avoid them at all costs if possible.

Mitch was awesome, so friendly, so upbeat and welcoming. He got us right at the price we needed to be at and interacted with us the whole time. Was never overbearing and just felt like a friendly conversation. Highly recommend to request Mitch when you go into this location he’ll get you what you need at the right price :)

Bought 15k worth of furniture and my dining room table arrived broken, was promised by the delivery crew that an annotation was made and they would leave the table until the replacement arrived. One month later I have a broken table and am told the only way they will fix it is a warranty claim. I will absolutely never do business there again.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. we bought a bedroom set, which came late, then came with the wrong parts so they had to reschedule, came AGAIN with the same wrong part plus the builders noticed it was wrong and they tried making us sign anyways and act like it wasn’t their job to build it, corrected them very quick on their actions. Now we had to wait weeks for the right part which took a whole process of months and so many calls because their corporate has not idea what they’re doing. The corporate gave us 3 different credits adding up to 350$, I go to the store and it’s not in the account and apparently there’s only supposed to be 175$ in there and there’s not record of what we were repeatedly told would be in there hahahaha. I just gave up at this point, this store is not worth the stress. The corporate manager angela is who we dealt with and she is incompetent at her job. Mattelyn is also a manger and she was clueless and no help. How is this place in business?

If I could give this store a negative score I would. DO NOT SHOP HERE. We got horrible quality furniture delivered and had to fight to get it exchanged, now that we apparently got approval, no one suddenly knows how to do the exchange. The sales person was overheard talking to someone else saying that he’s now “stuck with us” and no one at the store has bothered following through with helping us. Not the type of person to give bad reviews but the people at this store are just awful.

Came to buy on of the sofas, I saw online. We were greeted fast, but also were forgotten fast as well. At the end we were able to find one of the sofas I saw online, but at that point I was disappointed with customer service, since no one helped, so we left:(

I'm basing this rating off of our experience at this location and the salesperson that assisted us. Ashley in general needs to make major improvements in their furniture pricing and sales process. Neza helped us on 3 visits we made to select the furniture we needed once we were approved for our new home in San Antonio. She was fantastic! Patient, helpful, informative, knowledgeable and got us all setup with everything she could at the best price possible.

It hasn't even been a year yet, and one of our sofa seats broke and is stuck in the recling position. We have called Ashley's multiple times and they keep telling us they're waiting for the part to be received (as of today, it has been 3 weeks since our first call with them). We keep getting the run around from multiple people, no one seems to care since they already made the sale, no manager or supervisor is ever available to assist. I regret ever giving them my money, please just spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the headache.

Terrible. Bought a sofa, chair and ottoman at the I-10 store. The sales person was originally super helpful but after delivery, it has been awful. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The first couch came and it was literally broken in half, now that we've had the other pieces for about a week and a half, the arms creek when you lean on them, the couch cushions are already softening significantly, and one of the legs on the ottoman is twisted. I called and got the run around, sent me to an 855 number, followed by the people at the 855 number sending me back, followed by the sales person say they can't do anything for me. Way to treat your customers, completely unhappy with what we got already, and there is nothing they will do. Pathetic...if I treated my customers that way, we wouldn't be in business very long.

Late LY 2022, I bought my teenage son a California king bed frame from Ashley. Paid in full, no financing. Within 4 months, a side rail broke. Contacted Ashley, and they scheduled a repair crew to come service the bed. They had to order new rail, took a few weeks, it arrived, we scheduled a repair appointment, they show up and unbox the new rail and it's the wrong size, it's for a queen. They call it in and reorder the rail, and leave the wrong one in my garage. A few weeks go by, and finally, we get the new rail, and it is the correct size, California king. Repair crew come a few days later and fix the bed frame. They leave the broken rail in the box that the replacement rail came in and say that a truck will come by and pick both boxes. The truck never showed. I forgot about it for a few weeks, and when cleaning out the garage to set up Halloween props, there they were, and I remembered. I called Ashley customer service and was told they couldn't schedule a pickup. I was told I could either donate them or throw them away myself. I can't just put them out for the garbage pick up, I have to take them down to the city dump. I don't have a truck. Donate a broken rail and a queen side rail for a specific kind of bed? Donate to whom? I paid a good amount of money for delivery and assembly when I bought this bed. Ashley is playing it cheap since they got their money from me. Not good customer relations, in my opinion. I will never buy from Ashley again.

The sales people at Ashley are friendly and very helpful. Someone greets you at the door, but will allow you to wonder if alone if you say you are just looking. Their furniture is high quality. My one criticism is that the majority of furniture is ultra-modern. I would like to see more traditional selections.

I bought a couch and was really looking forward to it. They then texted to confirm the delivery (a charge of $600), and I accidentally pressed “N”. They texted back, saying they would contact me shortly. Three days pass and they called via chatbot for me to select a new (much later) delivery date. I cancelled the order on the day (within the hour) of speaking to a customer service representative. She said she can’t cancel an order—can’t process a refund! Forget it! This couch was supposed to be on sale but it has cost me &1200, missed work, and aggravation. Ashley used to have a great reputation. Now—forget it!

Good costumer service

Our saleswoman "Q" was fabulous. She welcomed us with a great attitude and smile on her face. I explained to her what I was looking for and she did not hesitate or disappoint in showing me several different options that was exactly what I had asked for. Again Qiara was great. For your finance person, well he did not bother to write his name on anything, was pushy and not forthcoming on some information he provided. After he rushed through the agreement, had my signature, he then disclosed some very important information about the cancellation process. This information I feel should have been disclosed before moving forward to signing any documents. I feel he purposely left this information out to take advantage of his client. Because of his unprofessional ways I will be paying the fee to cancel my contract, but had he been honest and forthcoming I could have been more aware before getting into a contract in the first place. Thanks a lot POS.

The day before, I received a call saying my loveseat wouldn't be in the warehouse until Nov 3. On that date, Ashley called saying my loveseat had to come from Houston and it was being delayed by weather. This was a bald-faced lie. But anyway, it would be delivered on the 7th. It's here 2 hours early. Glad it's here, but I won't be going back to Ashley!

Save yourself the headaches and look somewhere else and take the furniture yourself to set up!!! It has been going on two months and I still can’t get all my furniture delivered in good condition. I had a bed, night stand, and chest drawers. They’re quick to be persistent for a sale in store, but to get furniture in good condition and delivered on your time is a nightmare! The only furniture that was in good condition was the bed at the least! They came by today to re-deliver the night stand that had a crack in it and the second one was worse! Not to mention the chest drawers are on back order so now I have to wait another month for that to be delivered and who knows else how long for an actual good condition night stand! You would think they’d check everything to make sure it’s in good shape before even bringing it! You also can’t get a dam thing done over the phone and they want you to text and it takes days just to speak to someone like a manager on the phone verbally from the store instead of a call center to voice your concern! They are terrible at returning calls and you have to keep calling. Worst experience with a furniture store ever! I gave them the benefit of a doubt to make it right with the second night stand delivery before posting this and they still couldn’t. It’s RIDICULOUS!

Very smooth quick process and delivery,

I was so excited to purchase our 72 inch new dining table and chairs on September 14th. After multiple delivery issues, we received the table, 5 chairs and a bench that we didn't want. Although we told our sales guy Hector, we could not have a table bigger than 72 inches without a leaf, we need to exchange the table as it's 79 inches, which is to big for our space. Here's where the issues start. Hector says, no problem he'll get it taken care of but we never get return calls from him, every one of the 8 phone calls to Hector, he says he'll get with his manager and call/text us and get doesn't. We've left 3 messages for the store manager without a phone call back. Weve been to the store 4 times, and each time we are told, yes we'll get this sorted out for you and nothing happens. The payment is due on the incorrect table and the unwanted bench, which We've received no information except a text saying don't forget your payment is due. Hector said that its no problem, he'll get Dan to call us because Dan is really good at this...guess what, no call from Dan. All we are wanting is a dining table that fits our space and to return the bench that we don't want.. Is this when we call KENS5 news to help us get it taken care of?? I hope not, . We're hopeful after this terrible review someone will ACTUALLY solve our issue. I would not recommend Ashley furniture

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE OR ANY ASHLEY STORE. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. A MANAGER BY THE NAME OF QUIARA NORWOOD WAS HELPLESS AND CLUELESS. I HAD FOUR STOOLS DELIVERED ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO AND THEY ALL HAD SOME KIND OF DAMAGE TO THEM. UNFORTUNATELY THEY DELIVERED TO MY 12 YEAR OLD SON WHICH THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE AND ONCE I CONTACTED THEM THEY OFFERED TO DO A REPLACEMENT, FOR THE FIRST REPLACEMENT THEY WERE GOING TO BRING ONLY ONE STOOL SO MY HUSBAND DENIED DELIVERY, ON THE SECOND ATTEMP THEY BROUGHT ALL FOUR AND AGAIN THEY ALL HAD SOME KIND OF DAMAGE TO THEM SO WE DENIED DELIVERY, AT THIS POINT WE DON’T WANT THE STOOLS ANYMORE. I DON’T HAVE THE TIME TO CONTINUE TO ASK FOR TIME OFF TO ACCEPT DELIVERY SINCE NOW ASHLEY WANTS TO GO BY POLICY AND DELIVER TO AN ADULT. I feel this is important to share wether it be good or bad to help others and it should also be policy that stores with bad or good use the information for training purposes. Ashley’s online service or in store experience is the Worst yet! 1st purchase I bought were barstools and at the time I thought everything was good. first thought, was ok that was easy and nice friendly conversation with the sales guy. Well unfortunately the joke was on me, I left thinking ok not to bad but weird cause the delivery date fell on Halloween. My instinct was telling me , it wasn’t going to happen! Waited and waited andddd waited. The next morning I’m expecting a email or at least a courtesy call from someone telling me it was delayed, nothing. I call them and get a sales guy telling me all kinds of lies just to buy them time. He tried telling me the system went down to the date was scheduled for a later day. I told him I have a confirmation email that states the 31st. I should have known i was going to have issues when the day of ordering in store, I received a email saying my order was out for delivery I was confused so I responded with I thought it wasn’t till the 31st and thought to myself, “well that is awesome”, I’m getting my barstools early”. That would have been awesome and speedy service! Well I was sooooo wrong, I was emailed shortly after saying they had made a mistake and that my order was in route to the store I ordered from. Come to find out it delivers right from their warehouse. Let’s just say I went back and forth with a couple of people and ended up being my my delivery date got pushed back another week and when it finally was out for delivery , delivery times started changing, matter of fact 4 times in total. Once I went through the channels of trying to talk to a manager , A manager called me back days later and tells me I wish I had before they delivered the barstools so I could have done a comp! I’m just baffled and confused at this point! Like that all you had to say, way to rectify the situation for your customer. You think you’re are going to get a returning customer and or any recommendations like that. 2nd experience: yep, Didn’t learn my lesson I figured I would order on-line thinking it would be easier not to have to deal with a salesperson, WRONG lol! At this point shame on me. I think I purchased a recliner, long story short, after placing order it’s states delivery for November 16th, bit to expect a email shortly after. Well guess what, no email! I start thinking oh no, what happened to my confirmation email. I end up looking on the Ashley App for members and zero info on any recent orders. The first screen says that it failed and it gives you the option to go to a second screen so I click it and it says it will be delivered (1 to 2 weeks). I exit the app go back in to start over like I am going to purchase another recliner and guess what i see , the recliner I just ordered has more info regarding the delivery so I click it , and to my surprise it’s out of stock and it reads as soon as it is in stock they will reach out to schedule delivery. Now I’m trying to find the cancel my order button and there isn’t one! It prompted me to start reading other reviews, so sad to see I’m not the only one experiencing issues. In my opinion, This shouldn’t be this hard to order and receive furniture.

This furniture store makes the customer feel like the store is doing the customer a favor by doing business with the customer. They are very deceptive in how they do business. After repeatedly asking the sales person (Daniel) if all pieces were included in the final price and being reassured time and again of two hours of price discussions, he insisted that everything was in the final price. The manager (Qiana) and Dan, talked and drew up final paperwork. The final paperwork left off an item and the manager and sales person bonded together and tried to say I was unclear but Dan eventually admitted it was his fault. The manager said despite their error, they would not honor their final price but agreed to a slightly lower price for the piece that was left off if I paid separately “in cash”. The bed frame was defective and when I called the store for help, a very rude person by the name of Jose said that the furniture store had nothing to do with that part of the process and kept asking what I wanted from the store when I would ask what steps I should take to get it resolved and he repeatedly replied saying they couldn’t do anything for me. While this may be correct, the attitude and disregard for customer satisfaction was very concerning.

Brandon is a Rockstar! I got the best customer service and his professionalism is beyond reproach. I will definitely continue to do business with Ashley's because of this for all my future furniture needs.

My furniture was delivered today 10/17/23, the sofa was torn underneath, the delivery guy went to go get a staple gun from his truck and tried to repair it, that’s crazy. I declined the order and he called his supervisor and she tried to convince me to keep it. I had to tell her twice that I was not going to accept the order. Now I have to wait 24 hours to get a call back to get a new delivery date for my furniture. Not a happy customer and not a good way to start a new customer experience!!!

It took several tries to get 3 pieces of bedroom furniture delivered undamaged. I still have a cracked bottom on the large bureau received & reported. The damage was discovered after delivery. My new floor was scratched by putting up a bed. After the sale & delivery is completed, Ashley doesn’t follow through. I would not recommend this furniture store for business, yet the selected pieces are very nice. You take your chances.

Absolutely disgusted with the service from Ashley’s. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before purchasing furniture from them. 3 out 4 of my furniture pieces was damaged. I go to the store to talk to Tony Hernandez about my damaged furniture and he did not ask to see photos, didn’t apologize. He did not care and he told me there is no managers in the store to contact a number if I wanted to get my brand new damaged furniture fixed. I bought this in the beginning of August and 2 months later, my bedroom furniture is still not fixed. The first appointment with the technician was canceled by the tech. Today was the second appointment and they did a no show. This is unacceptable customer service. I have contacted Ashley’s numerous times and ask to speak with a manager and I always get told “We can’t transfer you, but we will take down your information and a manager will get in touch.”….still have yet to hear from a manager.

My recent purchase at the Northwest location was the best customer oriented experience for me in quite some time. The sales representatives and management team are wonderful individuals that strive for excellence in service. The delivery of my furniture was also 5 star. So grateful to the outstanding personnel at the Northwest location.

I was very pleased with my experience with Nick he was a no pressure sales associate who guided me through the different prices and styles. Till we narrowed them down to my final decision on a recliner that had a lot of features.

Having browsed Ashley's in stock merchandise online before heading over to the store, we had already kind of narrowed the range of Queen bedroom sets we were interested in for our guest room. Once we were in the store, Tony Hernandez, Ashley's in-store Home Furnishings Specialist, helped us further narrow down the best match for our purchase criteria. He helped us nail it to the tee. He patiently and good naturedly researched and explained all of the pricing, delivery and set up options, helped us select the perfect queen bedroom set for our guest room, and had us out of the store in less than 1 hour, with delivery and full set up scheduled within 5 days (on the following Tuesday). The sales rep was friendly and really knowledgeable about their inventory. My wife and I found the perfect couch for us. We were torn between leather or fabric and the one we got is the best of both worlds. It's puncture resistant which he showed us by stabbing it with a pen it feels like leather but is not prone to cracking, peeling, or other problems with leather and hold holds up better than traditional fabric.

My husband and I were content with the delivery service and products we selected. The delivery staff were very friendly and professional. Thank You!

I met my roommate a few weeks back at this store. I drove up first in a 1999 half painted f-150. When I walked inside the store, there were at least 6 salespeople standing at the front and could easily see me walking in and what I drove. There were not many people in the store at the time. No one! Not one person asked if I needed help, not until my roommate arrived, but he drives a luxury car. That's when a salesman walked up and asked then if I needed help. People really shouldn't be judged by how they appear. I'm a professional with a great career. I have just chosen to save my money for a home before I purchase another vehicle. I wouldn't spend any money at this store, not after that experience. They have it backward. It's the people like myself without car notes that can spend a little more money. Smh... their loss. Btw... his sales person was great! She was very friendly and helpful. She receives 5 stars for service, but overall, score 2

I went to an Ashley store on Labor Day hoping to snag a good price on a bedroom set I had chosen online. Aaron, a salesman greeted us and offered his assistance. He was very helpful in guiding us to the right areas and explaining the different options. They actually had several attractive bedroom choices with promotional discounts of 50% and/or 6 to 60 month financing. My shopping experience was definitely very satisfactory and I left with a smile well except for the amount I spent. Ha, ha! I definitely recommend the IH 10 at De Zavala location in San Antonio, TX.

I asked for my sectionals and ottoman to be completely covered. I was told, at the time of purchase, everything was covered and was given a pamphlet. Today my ottoman is damaged and the extended warranty company only see 2/4 items covered. Called the store and was told they can see 3/4 items are covered, and the ottoman is not covered. Additionally, was told that I should have added the ottoman to the protection plan earlier if I wanted coverage. How in the hell am I supposed to know to add something when I am under the impression that it is already covered. They said they would call me back and I have not heard from them. I regret this purchase because this feels like scammy place. I forgot to mention that when they delivered the couch it was not complete and it took over a month to get our product. DO NOT BUY, and if you do make sure to call the protection plan number right away to make sure everything you protected is there.

Good service and furnitures

Purchased fruniture 8/19 and received it 8/26. Although delivery was quick, putting a claim on damaged and defective fruniture is a hassle. It should take 24-72 hours for the Care Team to assign you a coordinator to determine if fruniture can get fixed or replaced. I put a claim 8/26 and 8/28. The representatives did not attach my pictures to the report so now I have to wait another 24-72 hours. If only Ashley's did not send me fruniture that was broken then fixed, poor quality fruniture, and a caring delivery team then I would not be in this predicament. Save you the trouble and go else where. Ashley charges alot of money for fruniture that isn't even good quality.

We wanted to buy one of the Ashley (brand) recliners. They advertised it online at this store's web site, but upon going to this store, we were told they not only didn't stock it, but would not order one for us to review in-store. However, they would deliver one to our home after we paid for it and if we didn't like it, we would have to arrange to get it picked up and wait for a refund. It's been a long time since I went into such an "anti-sale" retail store like this. I ended up buying the very same (Ashley brand) recliner, in the color we wanted, after having reviewed and test-sat in one later that same day, at Living Spaces, who delivered it the next day for free. (Regarding your reply below -- apparently your concern is rather superficial as my review clearly states that there was no "order number" to discuss. About your usual service - just what is your procedure on customers checking out the Nerviano Recliner in Chocolate brown? Are there any in your San Antonio stores?)

The customer service at Ashley Furniture was awful for me. I purchased a sectional on July 3rd. I was told the couch would be available for delivery in 2 weeks top. That was important because I had company coming in town 1 month from the date of purchase. I got a confirmation text that the couch was going to be delivered on July 22nd only to have that delivery canceled the day before. Then another text came for a delivery date on the 29th. I was not going to be home, but didn’t want to delay it so I coordinated with an out of town family member to come to my house to receive it. Once again, that delivery was canceled. When you try to call the number listed on Ashley’s website, it sends you to a call center where someone from another state (or country) attempts to “help” you. The call center ppl were so rude and just acted like the cancellations were no big deal. While on the phone with one of them regarding the 2nd cancellation, I asked if they could compensate me in some way for the inconvenience. I suggested maybe some partial money off the delivery fee. She said she would refund me $160 out of the $250. I thanked her and asked for her name or some sort of reference number for the refund and then conveniently the line disconnected. Of course, if I call back I will never get the same person again and I was at work and could spare more time to go through all that again. I went into the store after work to speak to a manager, only to find out they have ZERO managers or supervisors in the store. I was directed to a QR code to scan for a number that takes you……guess where…..the call center. You literally can’t speak to anyone in person higher than a salesperson. I finally spoke to my original salesman the following day because I was just going to cancel my order, but he assured me the couch would be delivered on Aug 2nd. I had to arrange for yet another person to come to accept it. It did come on that day and she signed for it. Once she signed for it, I was bound to the sale. No refunds. When I got home, I found the couch to be lopsided due to a missing leg, a nail was sticking out and snagging the pop up lounger and both arm rests were uneven and loose. Still can’t talk to a human, so now I have to enter into a chatbox and text with someone regarding all the issues. I had to send details, pictures and couldn’t really use the couch (only middle seats) until they could send a 3rd party tech person to handle the repairs. The couch finally got repaired by SAW technicians on Aug 26th. This whole incident really took the joy out of getting a “brand new” piece of furniture. My original salesman was nice, and a gentleman from Ashley Solutions ended up refunding me the delivery fee, but the whole process was just so stressful. The call center is a complete joke and not having a manager or supervisor available in the store is bizarre to me.

The sales person worked hard to get us what we wanted and hot us as big as a discount ascpossible.

Everything was great! Except for the delivery drivers they were unsociable and it was hard to understand them, I don't understand spanish.

The shopping experience is fine and pretty good moderately priced options. Getting a refund though is an act of patience, multiple calls to multiple numbers & being pawned off. Still navigating 2 weeks and 5 calls later so last time I shop here. I rather pay more for better customer service. Got our furniture home only find to some damage to it after we unwrapped it. Talked to salesperson, advised to call a 1-800 number that doesn't give you the option of selecting damaged furniture that wasn't picked. Call center had a hard time understanding my issue so eventually gave up. Tried their "chat" customer support which was also a nightmare. Over an hour to get something up for a technician to come look at the damage. Seems to be a trend by some franchised retailers...sale #1, customer experience through the process, not even on their radar! Lastly, double prices...online prices are different than in-store prices. Bought two ottomans and "sale" price is store with "discounts" was still more than price online. They did offer to price match which was "big of them." Still waiting on confirmation of my refund. If you want to spend a lot of your time with the hassle of buying, picking up your purchase instead of paying a hefty delivery fee...this is your place!

I don't review on someone easily, but here I want to let you guys know that don't trust any of the sales representatives in that store they will convince you to buy stuff from them they say one thing verbally and later on after a while you are screwed in your contract, anyone who may purchase here please read your contract. Do not trust. what they tell you read your contract if you are financing anything with them. They're definitely not honest doing business. Please be careful with them. It was my last time that I did business with them. I will never ever buy anything from Ashley HomeStore. They're very dishonest. We have a really big community here and I will let everybody know about Ashley home store that do not buy anything from them not even in Texas. We have community everywhere and I'm definitely gonna let them now.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our sales rep who immediately acknowledged us was Nick. Although he was a nice guy throughout the beginning of the process he was not thorough in explaining the discounts and or terms of the sale. Nick was very pushy and eager to get signatures on paper without fully explaining or communicating the price we agreed. While going through the process of purchasing furniture we made it very clear on what we wanted and the terms we wanted. After getting my credit pulled Nick sneakily attempted to get me to sign the final documents to which I started asking more questions. He then tells me it is not the terms we agreed to. At the end of the process a supervisor Janice, steps in to try to resolve to situation. Apparently after all is said and done,  you cannot have Ashley’s Furniture price match and get the 0% for 60 months offer. If this was said from the very beginning we would not have wasted 2hrs of our time there.

I was obsessed with a table set I picked out, however the service here just plan sucks. Picked up our table from the New Braunfels warehouse and after putting the whole thing together we notice the last chair we were on was completely broken and the table has a huge crack on one of the corners. We notified Ashley asap and nobody has gotten back to me. I keep calling and have spoken to a supervisor George and he said someone would call me the next day which was Friday August 4th and still nothing. I just tried calling them and they hung up on me 3 times.. ridiculous! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE… WORSE SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!

Purchased from Ashley's and Bob's this past weekend. Earlier in the day, I picked up items at Bob Mills. Their staff didn't hover over you. Their pick up staff in back asked if I wanted items wrapped, and they did. When Ashley's staff helped me after waiting around 10 minutes to find my sales person, they brought out my items through them on the truck, and said thanks for shopping with us. Before throwing items on my truck I did say hang on and let me put a plastic cover sheet for sofas, instead thrown on and rubbed against truck with cover white sofas first.

Friendly and professional staff and Brandon did an excellent job assisting us, and we are happy with our purchase.

The worst I’ve ever had. The specialist who took my order didn’t follow through to see if my couch got to me; which hasn’t come yet. I paid for it on Monday, the service was supposed to be completed Tuesday. The couch is still sitting in the service floor. No phone call to check on disposition… nothing nothing. There were 3 people in front of us for the same reason!! And when we went back to talk about getting our money back, they said “we have no record” lol absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT shop here.

Bad experience. I order a sectional in March for July delivery and paid 100%. July comes and they say they did not order it and it is now discontinued. Then they offer the floor model. I agreed then they said they found one and would deliver it but the ottoman was discontinued. Again I would have to take the floor ottoman. They delivered the sectional without a section or the ottoman.

Initial thoughts: Maria was wonderful and just a joy to work with. She saw us waiting by a bed set and got us fixed up quickly with delivery and instillation included. We were going to be out of town for a few days so they are able to deliver according to our schedule which made the stress of buying furniture tolerable. Great experience. Also, we were in and out so quickly once we found what we were looking for!! EDIT a month after this review: This store must survive on one time purchases. RUN AWAY. ITS NOT WORTH IT. SPEND THE MONEY ON SOMETHING BETTER. After delivery being delayed a week after a confirmed delivery date and not telling us it was “backordered”. We went into the store and they outsource their customer service so we had to call other people from the store with our sales person. Got hung up on TWICE then told there was nothing the store or customer service line could do. THEN the wrong set got delivered and we are 2 weeks in to trying to rectify that situation. We were told the store manager must be the one to make a note on the acct and this is the third time we have come into store and the manager is not working or not available. EDIT #2 one month after the initial order and a week since previous update. We had to go back into the store twice to get anything done because no one communicates to each other in the store. They were continent to ignore us unless we were there in person. They have now done the bare minimum to rectify the situation, saying we got “a huge discount” when we saw the difference and it was their basic cash % off. They also were going to charge us delivery to get the correct pieces after THEIR MISTAKE. We are picking it up ourselves from the distribution center and hopefully ending this nightmare. Should be a 0 star review. The only person that helped at all was Maria who did the best to fix a mistake. Also, I don’t believe the store manager ever even comes into work. I have seen no proof they exist.

Editing review due to terrible post-purchase customer service. I was overcharged $230 on a clearance item and tried calling our salesman to resolve. After getting zero response for days, I finally was given a corporate number to call who in turn directed me back to the store where I was completely ignored again. Bottom line is they would not credit my account and as far as I’m concerned they are thieves who will do nothing for you once your money is in their pocket. I will not ever do business with Ashley again and will try to make sure none of my family or friends do either.
