My pregnant wife waited in line for two hours with a screaming toddler to pick up a toddler bed and a mattress for her to avoid the $150 delivery fee. Terrible service, and we won't be back.

I have to say usually when I go into a furniture/home store dealing with sales folks drives me batty!! I was thoroughly impressed and honestly super happy with the staff at this store in San Marcos, the salesman greeted us asked if we needed help, and once I let him know we did not but would definitely ask. He left us to browse the amazing selection in the store. I found exactly what I was looking for and the buying process was simple, seamless and all around I would recommend this store and their associates, especially Paxton as he was awesome!
This is the worst experience I have ever had with customer service at any store. The manager on duty (Jeff Atkinson) treats the customer with disrespect. Instead of trying to make the situation right and listen to the customer, he antagonizes the customer and he is extremely arrogant. The salesman (Jameel) did a horrible job as well. Him smoking a cigarette right at the front of the store was a very professional look. The customer is always wrong at this Ashley Furniture. We have purchased furniture from another Ashley in the past and never had a problem. I would love to be contacted by Ashley Furniture Corporate. Following up on this post. The number that the robot response gives you to call goes to a department to check on orders. They won’t let you speak with management. Their corporate office definitely does not want to know about their disrespectful employees out in the field.
Service was very good. Sales staff was polite and efficient. Didn't feel rushed or pushed into buying something I didn't want. Will definitely shop here again.

Most unprofessional business I've ever done business with. I purchased furniture for my entire house and was lied to about delivery date several times and treated like garbage and disrespected. It took 4 delivery's to get my stuff and had to pay $400. To get one of my delivery's they refused to deliver. The corporate office was rude and disrespectful and said they couldn't help and refused to give me contact info for the CEO. I spent thousands of dollars and received no gratitude for my business. "PEOPLE" beware and don't believe anything they tell you. They are kind and respectful until they are paid. I tried to get a refund and was told it would take a couple of months to get my money back. My honest rating is a "0" out of 10.

We purchased a bench for the end of our bed and left with a better bench than we expected to get. It will hold our blankets and it will look great in our bedroom. Can't wait to go back to get the living room set and our dream bed!! Everyone there was so nice and helpful, we will definitely go again!!

After browsing for a couch and dining set, he asked if we had questions, and we replied no. We were serious buyers for a couch and dining set but will not return due to this experience. I no longer recommend Ashley Furniture."

I purchased a couch from this store on Friday, and it arrived with stains and didn’t fit well in my living room. The salesperson and paperwork clearly stated I had 72 hours to return it, but when I called to exchange it, they suddenly claimed that all sales are final and refused to take it back or offer any solution. This is completely dishonest and misleading. If you’re looking for a store that stands by its policies and values customer satisfaction, this is NOT the place. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere unless you want to deal with poor quality products and shady return policies.

We had an overall positive experience with Ashley Furniture in San Marcos, Texas. Reading reviews that were very negative about their showroom floor experience could negatively influence you. Instead, GIVE THEM A CHANCE. I would highly recommend you walk in and find a sales person you feel comfortable with. Don’t settle for the “next up salesman”. Do your homework by being familiar with other store’s cost. We were blessed to have Austin as our sales person and worked with the ONLY MANAGER I would feel comfortable with - Jay. Austin made us feel comfortable by getting to know what we wanted, allowing us to browse at our own pace and never pushed anything on us. He helped us to narrow down to what they carried. THE MANAGER- Jay - was a very ‘easy to work with’ Manager by being transparent and not “power selling” us something we didn’t want. Our first choice of their power recliner sofas was discontinued and we were unable to get it so Jay stepped in and found us what we wanted at the price that was very very reasonable. …(On a side note: I MUST SAY THE WAREHOUSE SYSTEM AND PERSONNEL as a whole were RUDE, DECEIVING and MISLEADING.).
Austin and Paxton were very knowledgeable and open to questions and concerns. No pressure tactics and made the process easy to navigate. Would definitely return to their store in San Marcos for future purchases.

Ashley Furniture is the worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Paxton the salesman sold me an extra set of bed slats to go with the bed that we purchased. When we got home We realize the original bed came with bed slats and he sold us an extra set for an additional $130. Come to find out after the fact Ashley Furniture has a no return policy. Also the bed that we purchased is the cheapest piece of furniture I’ve ever owned. The bed squeaks when you just sit on it. It sounds like it’s not gonna last long. BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!

Had to delete our 5 star review because it was for the sales staff. WATCH OUT, there is 0 service after the sale! We bought a $10k+ Tempurpedic mattress + adjustable smart base. Then they sold us a bed frame and side tables. When they installed the bed it doesn’t fit the base and could damage the automatic adjustability because it smashes against the frame. They left it like that and we didn’t notice until after they left. Called and Jay and Jeff are so rude! They just say “we don’t take returns. It’s a warranty issue sorry.” Or they insinuate it’s our fault for letting the installers leave it like that. I demanded they send a tech out, they said they opened a ticket, but it could take weeks before we hear from anyone (it’s been a week already) TERRIBLE experience can’t believe they don’t support what they sell, literally the day after it’s delivered you are in your own. 🤬
You need to go see Mr. J. Garcia, he is the most amazing salesman, we went in he greeted us, and we found what I, wanted and a little more😂but we where full a gratitude for meeting him.
We purchased a tempur-pedic mattress from Ashley Home Store in San Marcos TX. We were told we had 90 days to exchange it if we weren't satisfied. We paid cash to which one of the sales people responded: "Nice flex." implying we must be rich and showing off. We are not. My father-in-law died and left us some money. This was by far the most expensive thing I've purchased that doesn't have a mortgage or monthly payment. The mattress we purchased was too firm for us so we wanted to exchange it for a softer one (which happens to be less expensive.) Turns out we have to eat the difference. Nowhere in any of the paperwork they gave us does it say that we had to choose a mattress of the same price or higher. Trying to make the exchange has been a nightmare! Calls, texts, emails and they just keep asking to same questions that we've answered already. Here's the kicker...we are losing nearly $2000 in the exchange AND we have to pay the second delivery fee. Do not shop at this store!
First time going to Ashley Furniture. Manager Jay went above and beyond with me and my familys customer experience and being patient. I would highly recommend to family and friends!!!

Went in and purchased a loveseat and a sofa on Sunday. Warehouse was not available so they said we could pick it up on Tuesday I said that it would work better for us to pick it up on Saturday. Paxton was our sales person, finalize the order and said we will have this ready for you on Saturday that gives us plenty of time so I was pleased with that. On Monday all the way until Friday, I was repeatedly receiving text messages about my order. I called Friday spoke with a gentleman there at the San Marcos location and mentioned to him how annoyed I was with all of these text messages. I said I want to just confirm this order . This should’ve already been taken care of the day I left on Sunday, I don’t know why I was continuously asked about this order and it’s pick up date.The sales person looked at my account using my phone number and confirm that we were going to pick it up inn San Marcos on Saturday. My husband and my son get to the San Marcos location and they tell them that it is in New Braunfels extremely frustrated called over to the San Marcos location asked for Paxton. He was at lunch left a message with Jeff that I needed a phone call back as to how this ball got dropped when they had plenty of time to get this straight. Paxton returned my phone call completely clueless as to this whole situation. He said he could not recall the conversation. Extremely dissatisfied!

Han and Jay helped me to make an informed decision about a mattress. On my first visit in November, Han showed me the pros and cons for the brands I was interested in, and he encouraged me to try each mattress. I decided to postpone a decision until spring. Today, I stopped in to look at chairs and browse for ideas. I saw that the mattresses were on sale and Jay answered all my questions. I decided the mattress price was right. Excellent customer service by both gentlemen.

I like their design but not the service . Their furniture don’t last that long and they change the design really quick which means you can’t even get the warranty or parts replacement from them . It’s also their excuse to not service you . Good luck with their items .

Confusing. I went in for 25% sales but didn’t apply to all purchases. Salespeople did give a discount for items I selected. I am trying to contact store about a delivery question but contact numbers don’t allow to speak to a person! I’m starting to regret my purchase!!
Was told our product would arrive in 1 week now its been 1 week now it won’t arrive in two more weeks !!!!
Payed $3,000 for a table, chairs, a bench and above all a warranty. The bench bends and shakes when I sit on it and I weigh 160 lbs, the chairs wobble and the table wobbles back and forth. I owned the table for one week only and they told me that even though I bought the warranty which I think was $600, they can’t give me a refund but only replace it because “once the product enters the home no refunds are allowed to be issued”. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this business to even my worst enemy.

Purchased new sofas from Ashley the first week of November, just received this Saturday because the Sofa was back ordered, ok we understand. Received Saturday afternoon, of course we signed the delivery paper because you know we purchased $2,000 couches what can go wrong, drivers distract from inspection to get papers signed. After delivery drivers leave, noticed the legs on the sofa do not match the loveseat, sofa did not come with accent pillows, sofa looks used like people have previously been sitting on it & to top it off one of the cushions has a tear & repair on it! Visited store next day, said we should receive a new replacement just need to make a claim. Called the claim center this morning, they can only order new legs & cushion for us. Absolutely NOT. I am told to make a claim on the website, absolutely no help they wanted to give us store credit for $120 or refund for $78. We have purchased from Ashley many times and I think it is unfair that we purchased a new couch & now are probably stuck with a clearance floor sofa.
We had a great shopping experience, however our sales person was very adamant that we choose to pickup our furniture rather than have it delivered. Big mistake!! Took 3 hours of our Saturday afternoon waiting in line for Ashley Distribution Center in New Braunfels to load our order. Check out the reviews for that place before deciding to pick it up yourself.

Jadelynn was extremely helpful in helping us choose a new sofa and loveseat. She showed us a great selection, based upon our needs, answered all of my questions and worked swiftly in completing our purchase.
Salesman was alittle pushy. Lied about how far the distribution pick up warehouse was. Even after getting many texts to sign up for your pick up day, it took almost 2 hours to pick up a chair.

My experience was great, from the time I walked in the door I was greeted with professionalism and experience. There was no pressure, but there was an answer for all of my questions. Again there was no pressure, I was able to do the deal at my pace. After I found the furniture, I was looking for I was politely and courteously offered multiple options for finance. Again with no pressure. No one’s running around telling you to hurry up and sign on the deal right now, or the boss might change his mind. It was a very seamless process pick what I want, figure out what finance option I want to use, and get all wrapped up within 30 minutes of walking in the door. Top-notch service, top-notch, front end and back end.
Has anyone been to Ashley Furniture in San Marcos? I went in to browse and kill 15 minutes. However, I am actually looking for furniture, but I am not rushing it currently. I was followed around the store, even though I had mentioned at the beginning that I only had a few minutes. I was given paperwork on sleep. Then followed around to ask if I wanted to get their credit card. This was 10 minutes in and the lady had followed me the entire time. I finally said politely but firmly that I had already explained that I didn't have a lot of time and asked her to leave me alone. She walked away but went over to another guy and loudly told him I was rude. He came over and asked if I needed anything and I told him no thank-you, as I told your colleague, I am just browsing and yall have done nothing but follow me around, bother me, and then talk bad about me. This guy starts arguing with me and says that his job is to follow me around bc he is in sales. I am in sales too and would never treat someone this way. Then the manager comes over. I am walking out now, completely shocked and disgusted about this encounter. The manager then yells at me "Bye"! No one is in the parking lot. Now I know why!! Has anyone had a good experience here?

There is two people named Austin that work there, we found the gentleman with long hair named Austin kind and helpful, he gave us our space but readily answered any questions we had. We are looking to buy furniture for two tiny homes, so there is a lot of looking and taking notes of the dimensions to see if the furniture we like will even fit. The short haired Austin came up to us too, right after the original Austin did, and that encounter was ok. Then we had Julie come up to us and said “I heard yall liked to hang out in furniture stores” which wasn’t in itself rude but the tone was, and she asked us to take a sleep test, we declined, and she tried to push it, mumbling something under her breathe. We decided to leave, Julie made us feel uncomfortable. I do like a couch there but when I go back I’ll ask for Austin.

Worst customer service, no resolution to a broken adjustable frame delivered broken a month ago. Keep getting promised someone will call to resolve but no one does. "Corporate" customer service is all automated so it routes you back to the store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Would give a 0 if I could!!

Salesman was fine. There were three couches within my budget. Selected the kestrel. Getting it home I realized it’s a bit small. I attempted to purchase a second chaise but there’s no option to do that. I can get an ottoman but not a chaise. I was given the warranty number. That was a waste of time as they can not help. They said I have to purchase a whole couch to get a second chaise. I call bullshit. Why is this company making it hard for me to give them my money. The chaise is not attached to the couch. It’s a cushion and an ottoman. It’s not that hard.

Jamal Hammad was so nice & sweet & patient & so helpful when I was trying to find the table my daughter wanted. She didn’t answer me and he was so kind and patient and waited and just was friendly the whole time and we went ahead and placed the order and then the next day she told me she didn’t want it & She wanted another one that was only offered online. So he didn’t get any commission and I felt so bad. He was absolutely wonderful and I told him if I get to get new furniture soon which I really need to. I will come there and order it from him even though I live in Corpus Christi Texas because he was so nice. Everyone’s been nice here when I went into the store here, but he Really was just unbelievably so nice and wonderful. I honestly hope I get to get some new furniture before the end of the year and I can come and order it from him. I also got the pleasure of meeting the manager at the store the next day and he was so nice to and explained a lot of the furniture to me in the future so I thought everybody that Store was absolutely absolutely wonderful. Thank you all for the wonderful & Kind and helpful service. I greatly appreciate everything and I will definitely come there when I do get to buy new furniture:)

Was greeted shortly after I entered, salesman was helpful to point me in the direction of the recliners, was knowledgeable about the fabric and leather cleaning and care. Not a pushy guy at all, was always near enough to answer my questions and to check availability. There credit kiosk was fast with not to many questions in application. Highly disappointed. We went shopping for a couch. Jay, the manager at the San Marcos location said all but the wedge was available and the wedge would be back order for a max of 6 weeks. It’s now been well over 6 weeks, and we will don’t have a couch. Ashley has refused to give us a refund.. Jay has refused to help.. don’t buy from Ashley Furniture. The sales people will LIE just to get the sale.

The worst service ever. Took the store sales rep over 3 hours to place my orders and my delivery keeps getting rescheduled almost a month out now and I have no furniture. I recommend living spaces or furniture row. Customer service hung up on me when I requested to escalate my call and the store never answers. Buyer beware: any great sales (Memorial day sale, 4th of July sale etc.) are "sales" only by name. The day after the sale, the exact same item will be the exact same price. I just can't continue to patronize a store that's so blatantly dishonest with its sales tactics. But, if you do decide you have to go to Ashley Furniture in San Marcos, let me explain why the salesman Paxton is as worthless as TOAB. He'll smile and be happy to take your money but after the sale he's pretty worthless as far as following up with the sale and ensuring everything goes smoothly from there. I won't go into every detail because we'll be here all day. But let's just say that there's no point in exchanging numbers with him because in order to get a reply from him I basically had to physically go up to the store (multiple times) to get an answer from him which usually resulted in him shrugging his shoulders and making an excuse as to why something didn't happen as it was supposed to. He'd then tell me he would take care of it and make it right, and then not do it. This also included not following through with the refund I eventually requested after almost a month of this one way conversation (May 23rd - June 20th). I had to go to the online "customer care" (not much better) to make that happen. I won't say Paxton TOAB is the only reason I won't shop at Ashley furniture again, but if I was his manager he would not be employed there anymore. Unfortunately, after the cluster truck that is their delivery service liaison, the dishonest salesman ship that seems to be par for the course in this company, and the lackluster "customer care" team I feel he is just a small piece of the Ashley furniture company that does not work. I've seriously considered finding the few 1-star reviews I've ever left and raising them all to 2 stars solely to emphasize my disappointment in this "shopping experience."
We went in the store to look. Justin (salesperson) was so helpful. We ended up buying a beautiful dinning table. Everyone at Ashley were friendly and ready to answer our questions.

Waited a week to have furniture delivered and when it was delivered it was the wrong furniture. My parents are elderly and didn’t realize that until they had brought it in and unwrapped it. The delivery associates were unprofessional and became very angry about the mistake. My parents would not accept the delivery and upon removal of the furniture they knocked a hole in their staircase wall and broke a picture on the wall as well. The delivery associates did not even acknowledge what they had done and left in a hurry. The furniture that was delivered was not even the leather that they had purchased but a pleather type material. Bottom line is that my parents had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture and will never do business with them again.
Worked with Mike. I get the tactics but lying about a couch that had a “flash sale” that ended at 6pm that day (it didn’t, same price the day after) is shady business. I’ll be cancelling my order and re ordering it (without the unnecessary protection plan) just so he doesn’t get the sale. Thanks Mike!
Our daughter ordered a sleeper sectional from this store and she was confused when ordering it. She wanted it with the exact configuration as the one in the store . So when she spoke with the representative she told him that but she also didnt realize when he was telling her which side that she ordered it was not the same configuration as the one in the store. So when they did the white glove delivery she realized it before they ever put the couch together. The delivery people assured her to try it out and see if she liked it that different configuration and if not they could easily exchange it. They left and she then called the store and they said they would have to get back to her. She called several times and they kept saying they would get back to her. They never did . My husband called and spoke with the manager he said there is a no return policy even though the website says that they exchange. We are livid! Buyer beware dont shop at Ashley they lie !
When I got to the mattress section, the salesperson said I couldn’t look around at the mattresses on my own and that he had to guide me. I declined and said I’d like to look around myself first. He said he wasn’t allowed to do that and he would get in trouble if he let me and that all mattress stores do that. I again refused his help and I told him I thought that was ridiculous and that I should be allowed to walk around freely if I wanted. I know furniture sales people can be pushy but this store policy is idiotic. When I did finally look around it was hard to find the prices. Additionally they have these signs everywhere that say $15 on a sofa with small print that says per month. Now I know a sofa isn’t $15 but you have to really work to find the actual price. I’ll NEVER go back to another Ashley’s store again.
I am in my 50s and love quality furniture, they have it! I had a wonderful experience. I was given the time to decide, felt no pressure into buying anything. My sincere thanks to Mike and Han.

I bought a couch from there. The quote I got in store wasn't the price I paid the installer came thru and were missing a cord for the recliner he called it in and told us it would be sent to us but it never came. We called back and they said they never got that ticket from him and that in order to get the cord we gotta go thru a claims process instead of just making us whole

I bought a sofa & loveseat. The delivery date was pushed out so many times, they finally let me change my order after telling them I wanted a refund. Then the replacement items arrived but the back to the couch is not sitting right it looks like the recliner on that end is not sitting up right and makes the entire sofa look cheap, I have never received my receipt or information on warranty that I paid 700.00 for and no response to my email request to get it fixed. My bill was almost 4k and I could have bought a second hand sofa for the look I have now.

Paxton (Sales Associate) greeted my daughter and I warmly as I stated what we are looking for. Paxton spend nearly 2 hours with us showing and describing several choices I was interested in. My younger brother and I were assisted by a salesperson named Jay Garcia. Initially, everything seemed straightforward. We made a purchase totaling $1,914.91. However, my brother was unexpectedly charged an additional $1,049.46 by Synchrony Account Manager, leading to a total charge of $2,964.37. I visited the store multiple times to address this issue, but was repeatedly told that Jay Garcia would not be available until Saturday. Determined to resolve the matter, I arrived at the store as soon as it opened on that day. I explained the situation to Jay, who claimed that the additional charge was due to two separate payments for two separate delivery dates. He assured me that the total amount would not exceed $1,914.91 despite what the account indicated. Trusting Jay's explanation, I left the store. However, upon discussing it further with my brother, we confirmed that the store had indeed charged the full amount of $2,964.37. When I returned to the store to confront Jay about this discrepancy, he was conveniently "busy" with another customer, and I was unable to speak with him again. This experience has left me with serious concerns about the billing practices at Ashley Furniture Store. I would advise caution to anyone considering a purchase here, as the practices seem questionable at best. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I walked into this store 6.13.24 @. 4:15 pm / no customers were in building just sales people. A guy named Mike( with a spider tattooed on his neck -on left side) jumped up to say he would be working with me. I looked around for a sofa/ asked Mike about delivery and prices. Mike kept saying he was going to give me a good deal. He never answered any of my questions and smelled like bad body odor. I searched the online Ashley furniture store while talking with Mike and said the sofa I was sitting on and interested in was $300.00 less on line. Mike said, we are not that Ashley furniture-store , the one on line. LIKE WHAT???? I was sitting in an Ashley furniture store😳Mike said if I order from Ashley furniture online that Ashley would mess me over and I would get ripped off. I said I’m leaving and on the way out of the store I saw a guy named Austin and I asked if this was the same Ashley furniture company as the online store and Austin said YES! Mike is a straight up liar and stinks. If this is how Ashley furniture company treats its customers, then I will never go back. SOMETHING is NOT right at the San Marcos, TEXAS Ashley furniture store/ What a joke. ***UPDATE*** At least Gallery furniture treats customers 1000% better than Ashley furniture. Initially good sales person, sales manager kind pushy, reminds you of a bad car sales man. Lies about delivery, get the major run around if you have any questions after sale/pre delivery. Requires you to move your current bed but didn’t bring mattress. Wants to deliver mattress nearly a week after the base.

I cannot explain my frustration with this store and their delivery service THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have been an consistent ashley customer for years but these past two months with their customer service and store service has been a nightmare! There is no resolution on any complaints several discrepancies on their service! Several items were either delivered incorrectly or missing I am still waiting for a higher up supervisor to give me a call back for about a month now I brought them several family members as customers but i regret doing so and now assuring nobody shops from this store because they will do their very best to make the purchases on site but the back end you are nothing and not important at all complaints would never be answered or addressed by anyone you will only be placed on a call back list from a supervisor which will never happen-Please do not shop from here they are not reliable I am very disappointed and regretting all my purchases at this point

Ashley's in San Marcos has a great selection! We ended up getting a sofa, recliner and a Tempur-Pedic mattress. Everything was so easy. Alex was the associate who helped us and he was great and very knowledgeable. The best thing about Alex other than his knowledge was that he didn't follow you around of hover over your shoulder. It was a great experience and Ashley's will definitely be our 1st choice whenever we need any other furniture.

This is the absolute worst place to get furniture from in terms of customer service. i’ve been waiting for my couches since May 4th , ive been told multiple times someone would contact me , nobody has . i’ve called multiple times to try and schedule my delivery and the date keeps getting moved back. i had to physically walk into the store to get a straight answer bc not even the guy who sold us the furniture could assist us. I was told they would be delivered today (saturday) just to learn the guy i spoke with never actually scheduled a delivery date for me. i’m beyond disappointed, frustrated and angry . truly was a mistake purchasing from a company who’s employees provide empty promises and who are so lax with their customers
We started at SM Ashley and left and was not sure about what we wanted and decided to further shop at other furniture stores but our experiences at Ashley made the ultimate decision to purchase there. Our customer support person Alex was easy to talk to and he was very supportive. The big thing for us was he was not overpowering.
We spent hours in store because manager Jeff Atkins was unable to figure out how to honor the deal that was offered by his new sales men. We picked a floor model (the last one available) and paid with a credit card and were told it would be delivered in a week. Our card said the payment went through, and Visa approved our payment. However the salesman called on Monda saying the signatures do not match and to send an ID to a PERSONAL phone number to confirm. We did not feel comfortable doing this over the phone so we decided to go in on the next day to confirm this. By the time we went in person we were informed that our table was sold to another person. This felt like a slap in the face, we waited over an hour to get this deal and to insure our payment went through and showed ID at time of purchase. How can they sell an item we had already paid for. Because we felt uncomfortable with the business practices we were punished through our table being given to another buyer. This was frustrating and a waste of time. If you want furniture for a good price from people who can do their jobs, do not come here.
Got two sofas delivered timely. However, one did not have the legs. Ashley says they will be shipped in 7 to 14 business days. This is a big inconvenience since this is for a location that is not our primary residence and is 3 hours away. Shipping the legs to the delivery address is a big inconvenience since we do not live there. Very disappointed in Ashley.

We bought a couch and a chair from this Ashley’s and it was delivered ripped and they told us in 5 days we’ll get a new fabric and they’ll come replace it once we receive the fabric. The fabric didn’t come in for about a month. They had to come out 3 times to fix the rip and once the finally finished left our couch in worse condition then the rip it was delivered with. Highly recommend not using Ashley’s to furnish your house these people are nothing but liars.

I had a great experience doing business with Ashley. The only thing I didn't like was the price inconsistency between the website, and the store. We got Belvoir Sofa. The price is $799 on the website. Same product is listed on the sign for $900 at the store, while on the paperwork is $950. I found about the difference between the price due to financing just later after we closed the deal. I still recommend Ashley because of the quality of their products. They just need to communicate the price differences in a better way and keep them matched at the store.
Sales were fine, easy to work with and gave plenty of time and space to decide. Pickup in New Braunfels didn't work as described, no method to contact except driving 40 minutes and hoping it will work. Bought 2 pieces one is great second required 2 calls to repair 2 different issues. First repair time is 2 weeks out, second repair will be scheduled after parts arrive.

I wish i could give 0 stars . This place is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had they’re not honest about pricing and everything is falsely advertised. How is a product priced for 1399 but total is almost 2 grand when I asked for a lower price I got an excuse about inflation and they don’t negotiate like that. But then call 30 minutes later to agree with the original price I asked for this place is terrible now I see why there’s hardly any customers here.

Wonderful sales person! We were looking for a very specific piece of furniture. Even though they didn't have what we needed we were always treated with curtesy.
The sales associate who met me at the door had very little experience and didn’t know how to use the tablet system that he was using. Therefore, even though I knew exactly what I wanted and walked right to it, it took him several trips somewhere to talk to somebody and finally come back with a manager to initiate the sale. Then he left and eventually came back with yet another manager and there was a good bit more paperwork, ID verification and delay before I was able to complete the sale and leave. Very inefficient and unprofessional.

I worked with Jay on picking counter stools and he helped me find the right color and answered my questions without any problems. He was very patient with me. He also worked with me on pricing and was very kind. He directed us to different types of furniture as I requested and he gave us privacy to shop and discuss what was in the store. The experience was great and also fun. I would recommend shopping there. Before I bought the barstools, I looked both online and around town. The stitching on the stools was very nice, and most other places did not have the nice stitching. I enjoyed my experience.

this place was by far the most amazing store i’ve been too me and my boyfriend hate shopping but we made the right choice in going in ashley’s at first we were there for a couch now we’re bringing home a new temper pedic bed micheal jay and jeff were single handedly the best salesmen i could’ve asked for. we have terrible communication my boyfriend and i so it’s usually a struggle to communicate our personal wants yet with micheal and jay the made us feel as if we were talking to extensions of ourselves the we’re also incredibly well mannered and hella informative these guys know their stuff! All the while Jeff whom wasn’t even helping us was offering to keep us hydrated the whole time i understand this may not seem like a lot too the average person but when you see how welcoming these guys are and willing to work with you on your specific needs rather then oh this is what you should buy this is most definitely the place for you! The welcoming smile on all of the workers faces when walking in will make you feel right at home and there’s furniture too haha 10/10!

The buying process at the store was good but the delivery was a disaster! My merchandise was damaged and not working. I called Ashley's in less than 3 hrs after delivery to inform them and asked for a delivery of working merchandise and they set me up for a repair. After spending over 7k I want NEW not REPAIRED merchandise that's what I paid for.

The experience I had at first was the not so good. The first set I received was a sofa recliner and a love seat recliner. The 1 set was very uncomfortable compared to the ones in the store. I could feel the wood, the springs, and it had a few defects. My husband and I purchased this set back in Sept. I didn't want them but due to accepting them I was told there was nothing I could do. Even the managers at this store were refusing to assist me. Until 1 day we made contact with a wonderful gentleman by the name of Alex. He has been with us through this crazy journey and has not left our side. He's the only one who showed he cared about his customers and will go above and beyond to help you out no matter what it would cost. Other sale people are just worried about the sale and after they make the sale they don't care. Once u accept the product and you don't like it you will have a difficult time. I finally in Dec have received my new sets. Without Alex by our side helping us out I honestly don't know what I'd do. I am now one happy customer and will always recommend him to anyone and everyone. He will always be my go to at this store. If you are wanting anything from Ashley's look/Ask for ALEX. Thank you Alex for everything I really appreciate everything you have done.

The gentleman that delivered my couches up 4 flights of stairs did an amazing fast job. They were careful and very respectful! They went above and beyond, considering my couches barely fit up the stairwell, to make sure my delivery was successful. They treated my property with respect and had great attitudes.
Corey and Jay completely misled me in the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattresses. I was under the impression if it didn't work out I could return the mattresses and that is not true.

I have never had this kind of trouble with Rooms to Go. Check your monthly statements, make sure you are getting charged correctly.

Big beautiful store but the salesman wouldn't let me walk around without asking every 5 minutes if everything was fine. Then we had 2 other different sales man trying to get us to try their mattress section. We didn't even finish looking at everything because we felt they were just following us.
Would not recommend to anyone. We were so excited for our first big furniture purchase for our new home, and this experience could not have been more disheartening. Choosing the couch was easy - but once you sign the paperwork and agree to payments/financing, level of service drops tremendously. Our sales guy didn't correct the address that he typed wrong, after I called it out and requested that it get fixed, and that made for a disaster. I could not get a single human to fix the mistake, and still don't have confirmed delivery information. They send you text prompts that tell you to call the store, only to soon be made aware that no Ashely store has a working phone line. They take your money/credit, and then could care less about what happens after the fact. Actively researching how I can cancel the purchase without fees or fines. This is insane and possibly the worst customer experience I've ever had.

I purchase the dinning tablet with my credit card, so I told the sales person that I didn't want the protection plan, so he said ok that he would take it off from the price, but when I got home I noticed that he still charged me for the protection plan and didn't appreciate that. He also told us that the chairs were dark gray, but they are black, not happy at all!!!

I went in and was going to walk out because they didn't have what I was looking for in store, but I showed them what it is I wanted online and they matched the price and helped me finance a sectional couch as well. All and all their customer service and process was quick , kind and helpful. Abby did a great job and didn't mind all the questions nor all the extra work I was putting her through! At 6:41, I got a text stating the delivery guy would be here in 45 minutes. That surprised me because it was supposed to be from 10 - 1. So I didn't take a shower, I didn't make the kid's breakfast, I didn't go to the store - all the things I was going to do before 10:00 because I had taken off work. Then your company would send follow up texts saying a new time, a new time. They showed up at 10:20, which was fine but why all the dishonesty for over 3 hours that kept me from doing anything?

Alex went above and beyond on providing me a budget friendly mattress while providing valuable information. He showed me all the different mattress types and guided me through the whole process. He was able to find a mattress that was comfortable for my lower back pain while falling in between my budget. I strongly recommend going to him for help finding a mattress to fit your needs.

The store is nice, great selection. The sales process is a little wormy. We purchased a bed, mattress and base. The bed was not delivered as expected. The base was malfunctioning the day after they dropped it off. After a series of back and forths, we finally wanted to just have everything returned and get a refund. They told us all sales are final. Nice customer service. We also went with the 0% financing option and they sent the first payment request prior to even having all the issues resolved. We will not be going with them again.

Purchased a sectional sofa from Ashley in San Marcos and wanted to modify the configuration from the showroom to fit our home. Something got lost in translation and when it was delivered, realized it was too big due to an additional love seat when we wanted a single seat. Immediately Called the store and then corporate to try and trade it out but was told that the store manager hadn’t approved. Tried calling back but didn’t get a response. Several weeks have passed and now being told they didn’t have a record of it and because we didn’t respond/resolve within 72 hours there’s nothing they can do. Terrible customer service and will never shop or buy from them again. Only out for the sale and not in trying to establish repeat customers. Also, don’t purchase based on the price of the showroom floor. The website is up to 40% cheaper.

He spent quality time with us to understand the details of our living room and what size furniture would be a good fit, as well as our style to assist us in making a good choice not solely based on comfort. He also had good ideas about decorating accents, different arrangements of the furniture, and unique options for a large space next to our fireplace that we hadn’t thought of. We look forward to receiving our furniture soon to see the end result!
