Cher was great very patient and explained everything very well.

This is my third purchase over the last 4 years and have been highly satisfied. This time I purchased the Larkinhurst Collection. I have only received the recliner at this time but it was perfect.
My wife and I went to the tent sale to look for a side table for the nursery room for our son, we found one, they even gave us more off of the discounted price. We also went inside and while looking around we found us a coffee table for our living room. They have excellent customer service and Cher took great care of us and was very personable when working with us!

I dropped in to Ashley, in Sherman, Tx., not really expecting to buy anything. However, after searching around, I encountered Cher. I told her that I might be in the market for a recliner and just wanted to look. She gave me my space and time and she would check back with me should I need anything. I tried many recliners. She showed me several options, along with the assistance of Shawn. After about an hour of my countless questions and different trials, they pointed me into the direction of a recliner that might suit me. I tried it, liked it and still started with my questions… (talk about customer service. They had it! ). Shortly afterwards, we were joined by Lewis, the owner. Again, they had to deal with my questions…they offered good pricing on countless furniture configurations… because now I’m interested in redoing my whole living room.🤣🤣. I left to ponder the pricing and measurements. I returned three days later and they remembered me and what I was interested in; even presented other good options, if I wasn’t sure. Again after several hours (bless their hearts) the decision was made. I actually purchased more than I intended to, without pressure. Looking forward to purchasing more soon. We bought a set of bedroom furniture at Ashley’s furniture in Sherman. Shane was very helpful. I liked that he didn’t follow us around but was always close by if we had a question. We actually found what we wanted at another Ashley store. So we just gave Shane the information & he ordered it for us. It ended up saving us money also as he quoted us a lower price than the Frisco store. We also wanted to buy locally. I have always liked their furniture & their customer service is excellent.

The Store is a great place to buy furniture for the entire house. Buyer discount was good also. The inventory was large. The sale associate, Blake, really knows his job and is great at what he does. He went above and beyond to see that we were happy with our purchases. Follow up with Blake was just great.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The associates in this store are absolutely terrible. We came excited and ready to purchase a sectional that very day. First, we were not even greeted upon walking in the store. We looked around the entire store testing out every sectional. We were there at least an hour and not one single associate approached us to ask if we needed help. Mind you, a few of the associates were busy, but there were several other associates wandering around the store or sitting around doing nothing. We finally found the sectional we wanted and had to ask an associate, who walked by us multiple times not even acknowledging our existence, a question about the sectional and his response was “uh if you look up either (brand name) or (brand name) you should find it online” and walked away from us. He was unsure of the name of the sectional we were asking about and didn’t even have the decency to find out for us. I’m sure losing a sale to us means nothing to this massive corporation, but I don’t believe it was okay to treat us that way and thought it should be made aware to other potential buyers.

I had such a great experience at Ashley Furniture in Sherman, TX. They were so helpful and very attentive and wanting to make sure that I found what I needed. The first time I came there, I had a particular type of item in mind, but they didn’t have it. They tried to help me find what I needed. I went home and slept on it and through all their help and suggestions, I was able to come up with a completely different scenario and ended up with something much better then what I came up with initially. I am so excited to receive my delivery. They will also assemble it for me for a small fee! I highly recommend shopping at this location! They were friendly and very helpful! Thank you!

I found some end tables online and called the Ashley Homestore in Sherman. I spoke with Blake who answered all my questions and even sent me a picture of the table. We went to the store the next day and when I saw the tables they weren’t at all what I thought they would be. I drove over 400 miles to get my furniture from these guys the furniture stores are not even close to what these guys carry in product I will definitely go back

We were met at the door by a very professional and courteous Tye Terry. He took us back to the area where the items were located that we were shopping for, making sure to clear a safe path for my husband who was temporarily using a walker. Tye was helpful, answering all of our questions without being pushy as some sales people tend to be. When we return to shop for our next purchase we will ask for Tye.

My experience with this business is not good at all. This is my second purchase with them. The first was living room set they told me if I got the cleaning package they would come out and clean my couch, loveseat and recliner but that was a lie. Come to find out they only spot clean. Second I purchased a chest on February 29 I asked when would it be in the sales person tells me a week. I call again two weeks later and they tell me the 1st of April. Call today now it's another two weeks. Mine you there's no communication this is unexceptional.

I was happy with the help I received from Ryan and my purchase however after getting all the financing done they then decided to tell me it could take up to 6 weeks to receive my order, that should have been told to me up front. It is a nice store, very clean and prices are reasonable.

Had great items in the store and friendly staff. Kinda pushy about furniture protection coverage, but after saying "no" for the 2-3rd time, they finally dropped it. Don't let them bringing the store manager out intimidate you into purchasing the protection. That was kinda weird and why I gave four stars instead of five.

We expected 2 weeks for the couch to come in and was told yesterday it would be there in just a couple days! The prices are good and the couch we ordered is gorgeous and can’t wait to get it. Normally I shop online. This time I decided to shop in-store. Great choice as I first met Shane. He offered me something to drink and then “what can I help you with today?” He was polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Then I met Blake he was willing to help as well. He was kind, friendly, and outgoing. They directed me towards something that was more perfect for me than what I was originally looking for. Both Shane and Blake were very amicable, considerate, patient and went above and beyond to help me. Then time to pay for my purchase. I met Summer. She is an amazingly beautiful young lady with a great smile. She was caring, polite and very efficient. Shannon was a delight. There was a discrepancy found in my order and she helped me come up with a solution that saved me money although that might affect her commission. The ladies at the purchase desk were rude to her in front of me and it was obviously embarrassing for her. I almost spoke up but regret that I did not. The manager was also rude when an error was caught on a size discrepancy. I understand these things can cause issues but I would much rather an error occur and be adjusted than have to witness my sales person being berated in front of my child and myself like that. You could tell there was a lot of negative energy between staff as well as management and that makes me really uncomfortable as someone who should be busy being excited about my purchase. This was an important personal growth purchase for myself and our family and it was brought down by the way our sales associate was treated although she was doing great work making her customer happy. I hope this rude small-town infighting behavior was a one time occurrence. Also, the purchase desk never sent me my email confirmation of purchase and I have waited on the phone for someone to answer twice today to fix it. Shannon, our sales associate, was joyful and kind and super supportive. She left at the right time to let me make a phone call. She didn’t hover or pressure me into anything and that’s why I’m glad I stopped in yesterday.

Beware of Furniture Care Protection 5800 NW 135th St, Oklahoma City, OK They are thieves that do not honor the contract. They refuse to repair items and twist things to get out of upholding the contract. I spent $500 to protect our $3,000.00 living room set that is falling apart after 2 years and because there are multiple things wrong they are denying the claim. Never purchase anything from them.

The sales team was good but the delivery process was not good at all. I got a text saying my furniture was in and ready for pick up when it was supposed to be delivered. When I called to confirm that this was a mix up I was transferred to the warehouse. The quickest they would be in my area was 2 weeks. They said that we would have been on the truck for the 23rd but that truck was already full by the time I called. I called immediately after being notified via tex. I was supposed to get a call to schedule and that didn't happen, causing a week delay. I was also told delivery would be on a Saturday but to do that it would be yet another week. I am not happy about this at all.
I recommend Cher!! Plus they have great options to choose from!!!

I surely believe this person is an asset to your company. He did not bug me nor push for purchase's as other salesmen have in the past which would be a sure reason for me to not make a purchase! Today we had a lovely experience buying a new power loveseat from Shannon at Ashley in Sherman. She did everything just right to get us all the information we needed to make us comfortable with our purchase!
Shane was great. We went in looking for a new headboard & maybe a new chair for me. Husband sat down in one chair & fell in love. It was nice but not what I wanted. He looked across the way & found one that just melted his little pea picking heart. He wanted me to try it& Shane laughed as I had to agree it was perfect. It was on sale but he helped get us the best deal possible & we purchased the entire set!! Chair, loveseat, sofa & the coffee table. Plus they are delivering it on Wednesday just 3 days after purchased it. Lowes took 2 weeks to deliver a washer & dryer. Ashley is great & their sales people were all wonderful! Shane was right at the front door to greet us! He was not pushy by any means, he simply asked us if we needed help or if we were just browsing. We informed him we had done some online shopping first and was coming to see if the product was in store, sadly they did not have it in store. He instead showed us products that were close to the same quality and design. Which we quickly learned wasn’t as great as what we initially thought it would be. He instead showed us multiple options to broaden our choices and we ended up falling in love with a sectional! Yes the price was more, but Shane explained that quality was better versus what we initially came in to view. We settled on building our own sectional from the sectional he showed us! He was very informative and patient with us! 10/10 Shane! Cannot wait to get our furniture in!

Being new to Sherman my Fiance and I saw something familiar, something that reminded us of Home. This Ashley's Furniture store was the most helpful, knowledgeable, and took into consideration our needs and budget. Both managers were very helpful when we were in search of a bed frame and mattress. They even test both of us to see what mattress is best for us to purchase and gave us the best price. What an amazing experience in today’s world to be treated as valued customers and not left to figure things out on your own. Cher and Lewis at the Sherman Ashley’s went above and beyond to help me find a suitable small recliner for my elderly mom. Love this store. Had an emergency medical procedure and needed a specific type of recliner. They had it, of course. AND, they had it at a reasonable price. While other stores were closed, they were open for business. Everything was done over the phone and it was at the house before we left the hospital. We had a few representatives that helped us, and each of them were professional, friendly, efficient and courteous. Good product, good price, great service. Very deceptive when promising delivery time. Pushed back then today I took a day off to sit All Day and when I called they don't know what's going on and my furniture did not make it on the delivery truck. They tell you anything to get you to buy and then they don't care about customer after that.

I went in to the Sherman location with questions on how to resolve multiple issues ive been having with my purchase from the Frisco location. I told them that Ive been having a hard time getting answers on anything over the phone and was hoping they could save me a trip an hour out of my way to my original location. We went to this location in Sherman to price out living room furniture. As soon as we entered the door the saleswoman Bobby came up to us and ask if we needed any assistance I let her know that we were just looking and went on about looking, she continued to talk to my husband though as that was not a sufficient answer that she wanted to hear. Anytime that we were looking at anything she would continue to come up to us trying to get us to run a credit checks, And after the 4th time of this happening I said come on let's go. She proceeded to say to my husband, out of ear shot of myself " Maybe you should take her to get margaritas so she'll be in a better mood." ABSOLUTELY unacceptable and will not be purchasing anything from this location.

He bad mouths the competition and then has zero to show for it. We’re done. Supply chain issues are a real thing but this store has a pretty crummy approach to dealing with it. I wish I had a million to buy everything new in there I wanted today! however I just went to price an adjustable bed that I need for medical reasons. Knowing my budget, My salesman Shane and his manager went out of their way to get me into something I can afford and still met my needs! Update: 02/16/2024 I needed a new bed and called to see if Tye still worked at the Ashley store in Sherman, he does, so I went in and he and Shane, another helpful person, put together a package that saved me money. I definitely recommend these two individuals, regardless of where they work. Thank you Tye and Shane, 👍 Tye, the store salesperson was (as expected 😁) very helpful, answering questions and trying to help me find the best solution for my needs! Once I decided, he asked the manager to assist me with the financing and to apply a discount code that I had received in my email! Apparently my offer came from the dot com company website, and not my local store in Sherman, Texas! The manager (sadly I have misfile his name in my 76 year old brain 🙄) worked on the sale to ensure that I received it. I received excellent service, and my delivery is scheduled for Friday (ordered on Monday)! I called for info on a leather chair that has been out of stock for several months. Within a few minutes Brian Cowart found the chair, explained pricing and delivery and I was checked out! I felt like I was at a used car dealership. They quoted warranty at $450 but charged me 600. When I pointed it out the salesman told me it was for my benefit. Really? They reluctantly corrected. Told me a chair was $700 and when I asked the chair to me removed from my ticket it was $350 (what a great deal/discount ! Yeah? Or what a great lie...). I paiD $1500 down for my purchase in August 2021. I still do not have my furniture. It’s October 2021. They told me it would be September and now if I want my money back and cancel the order there’s a fee. SHOP ELSEWHERE. I should have listened to my gut when they were not transparent with the numbers, but I needed the furniture. 😒

Great customer service- we’ve been a fan of Ashley furniture for a while and just moved to a new town. We were very pleased with our experience at the Sherman location and were thrilled to find a couch and loveseat that they could deliver within the week. Every other store we checked was 3-4 months out. Ronnie was attentive and friendly without pressuring us, he just asked the right questions to get us to the right piece of furniture. We’ll be back!

Typical story went in looking for 1 item and they can't even get it anymore but 1 comment to look at beds, turned into a large purchase for our new home. Brian was real nice and helpful. Didn't try to push anything on us. His manager got us a few discounts based on financing options we chose and bundling. Even though it was a lot, we knew it was well worth it. Really liked the sound of there warranty we purchased as well. Looking forward to our new tempurpedic bed and bedroom set. Update 2 months later, bed has been nice, really talk it over with your spouse to be sure you want the adjustable bed that is for you both or split, might be worth the extra if not sure. The bedroom set finally arrived and it looks nice. Also the delivery guys were great, very professional.

I found poor reviews after making a large purchase and reached out to Ashley online regarding my order. I was contacted very quickly and directly by the Sherman store manager who remedied the concerns, explained a discrepancy to my satisfaction and followed up very closely regarding my order. I can say if you contact them and give them a chance you too will be a satisfied customer as I am now. Trying to buy a sofa and recliner, they have a sofa on display that no one can even sit on and they won't sell it. First time it was going to be end of July before we can get the furniture, called back today it is now the first week of August before it will come in, but they won't guarantee anything and will charge a restocking fee if we cancel. I communicated with Ken through the entire process and he was incredibly helpful to me. He worked with me to find a mattress quickly in an emergency and even kept the store open after hours for me to pick it up. Wonderful customer service!
I was referred by Angela in the Paris, Texas store to Brian Cowart at the Sherman store for a hands on experience with the mechanism of a sofa bed. A week later I went in and Brian knew my name and what I was looking for. Patiently, he asked questions , listened to what was important to me, then showed me options. He was even patient and accommodating as I repeatedly tried out the two top contenders! Then, he truthfully delivered the hard message: The wait could be more than 6 months. That's what I look for in a business person-character and integrity. Thank you, now I can stop looking for the right piece of furniture!
I’m a very hard person to sell to and I have to admit that my husband and I had a great experience with Brian Cowart. I did my research and shopped online before going in to see the couch I wanted. They didn’t have it at their store, and I was ready to walk out. However, Brian showed us a couch that was even better and honored the online price. We’ll be going back for our future furnishing needs!
Do yourself a favor and NEVER purchase furniture from this place. 8 months in and we are still stuck with HALF a couch in our living room. All we get is false promises on a delivery date, time and time again and when we called the “Finance company” to make our first payment this is how the call went before I got scared and hung up. “Hello this is such and such how can I help you” “yes I’d like to get the balance of my account and make the payment” “okay is this an Amazon or Lowe’s or khols account or what kind of account is this?” Hesitantly I said “Ashley home furniture” “okay I can see your account here, can I get your full social security number” “no you certainly can not” “okay can I get your account number then?” “Where can I find what my account number is, we have yet to receive a paper bill with that information on it” “well it should be the same as your full credit card number” and that’s when I hung up this has been the most god awful experience we have ever had. Attached are other people who have had an awful experience with them as well.

We shopped at the Sherman location on Jan. 1. The sales lady kept telling us not to look at the price because she would give a deal and we wouldn''t pay what was listed. When it came down to it, we paid exactly the listed price. We bought anyway. We were told that it would be 10-12 weeks for delivery. Another lie! It took 15 weeks! To top it off, they damaged it while delivering. We were told that the service department would contact us. Lie number 3! After a week of no call, I had to call them and leave a message. They didn't bother to call back, they texted to set up a time. On the day they were come, I called to check to see when to expect them, I was told that the serviceman was in Texarkana on another call but was heading my way. I reminded them that Texarkana was 3 hours away. The next thing we knew, they didn't have us "on the books" for that day. We have the conformation text! Lie 4! Now we keep getting automated texts reporting that they are waiting for the main distributer to ship the part (thought they were on the way??). Pretty sure this is a lie too! To get my Darcy armchair and ottoman, you would have to pull it from under my cold dead body! I love that chair. I have arthritis in my shoulders; the arms are high and I can put my arms on them. Wonderful! The seat is high although I do add a bamboo pillow to give me extra height when I get up. The arms are sturdily built and I can easily use . them to help my self up to standing. My chair is a beautiful medium color aquamarine. My yorkie loves to sleep on the wide arms. I love this chair and am ordering one for the bedroom! Pam Morgan Walker

We had to remind them we paid extra for the several deliveries they have to make due to nothing being in stock like they said. Finally we did receive the dressers and Bar several weeks later. The kicker to all this is 9 weeks later we still have no Kitchen table. Again told 4-6 weeks and nothing happened. We have been told 3 times it is in Transit. Not true. We had to keep calling to get updates. I finally was able to get Brandon on the phone who manages this store and he promised we would have it Tuesday 5/4/2021 between 11 and 2. No show No call. We had to call them again. This time we were told the table was damaged in transit but they found another one and will have it to us on Friday 5/7/2021. They called today to our surprise and said it was on the way and it will arrive between 1:30 and 3:30pm. At 4:30pm we got a call that they are putting the two damaged tables together to make one good one. Not sure how that is quality Furniture that they advertise. So long story short we have been without a table for almost ten weeks now as we just bought our new house. If I were any of you i would think twice before purchasing from Ashley Furniture. Oh and last but not least, you can not get a hold of anybody at the corporate level. You are told by a recording to call the store that sold the furniture which don't call back, And cant tell the truth.

Ordered 4 side tables (Slightly smaller than end tables) on April 27, 2021 for our living room. When asked, the salesperson quoted an expected delivery date to the store of mid May. Received a call on May 5th that delivery would be delayed until mid June. That’s a big difference. I’m disappointed. I guess I’m spoiled by Amazon who almost always meets, or exceeds, their delivery date promises. June 28, 2021 update: Still no end tables. Mid June came and went. I called the Ashley HomeStore in Sherman several times since then. Each time I called I received a different answer, none with a specific delivery date. First I.was told it would be another week since it had to go to the warehouse first. Then, it was going to ship in a few days directly from the factory to the store in Sherman. As of today, it’s supposed to ship tomorrow to the warehouse, and then to the store. I have no trust that it will. It has now been 62 days since I purchased, and paid, for this furniture. I just can’t seem to get an accurate delivery date from this company. July 1, 2021 update: We finally received notice that our furniture is available for pick up, drove to the store and brought them home. When we opened the boxes they were not assembled as promised (See pictures). I requested complete assembly because I am handicapped. We put them together ourselves rather than wage a protracted battle. Case closed. I don’t recommend this store.
Ken and his team were great to work with they made the whole process enjoyable and very simple me and my wife were promptly greeted. And answered every question we threw at them at no time did I feel lied to or bated. I will definitely be telling my friends and family to so and talk to Ken when they are in need of furniture. If I could give less than zero stars I would!!! I ordered a couch Jan 10 2021. I was told it would be here 2nd-3rd week of Feb. I called at the end of Feb and was told it would be Mid April and a manager would call me back. I never got a call and then I called again around the 1st of Mar. I was told then I would get it in the next week-2weeks. Never heard another word. I called the middle of March and was told it was shipping out April 18th but someone would stay in touch with me about it since they are supposed to do that with every sale. I called today April 17 and what do you know! I was told mid June-July. The manager was with a customer and is supposed to call me back.This is by far the worst place I’ve ever done business with and will NEVER do it again!!!
Purchased a queen tempur pedic mattress set with adjustable base on March 12th slept in it for about 2 weeks didn’t like it wanted to upgrade to a king called our Sherman,Texas store and apparently they don’t want money cause king would quite a bit more they never called us back so I will not give Ashley’s anymore of my business. Customer service sucks I will tell friends too

Ordered several thousand dollars in furniture. Was originally given a Feb. delivery date. Then March. Then April. Now May. I am confused as a consumer. If I didn’t pay my bill on time then what would happen? One month is ok, but 3! I called this afternoon and a young lady just kept apologizing and saying “hopefully” it doesn’t get delayed again. I don’t understand why Ashley Furniture would not let me know in advance that this could happen. I have made plans with family and now I don’t have furniture. Quality and pricing
I purchased a counter height table with 4 chairs and a bench back in October. It took 8 weeks to arrive and it’s beautiful. It’s been 4 months now, and two of the chairs foot bars are loose and will not be tightened. While it looks pretty, the table to me seems cheap. I will say that when my 2 year old wrote on it with sharpie 😠 I was able to scrub it off pretty easily which was a relief. I also ordered a simple accent chair for my living room and I have yet to receive it. Originally they said December for delivery, then January, February, March... now late April?! I don’t get it. I know Covid and weather etc, but seriously 6+ months for a single chair! Ridiculous! The salesman was very nice and knowledgeable, he would send me updates almost every week, but he has stopped sending me updates about a month so i have no idea what’s going on. I probably will not be returning to any Ashley furniture in the future.

I will deal with Brian or my local store directly. They are extremely helpful and have better deals! I had a great experience with Ashley Homestead. The shopping process was very easy with very helpful staff to answer all my questions. The delivery was excellent with tracking and time notifications. And I am very impressed with quality of furniture with prices much lower than nearby local stores.

Great experience! Very very nice salesman. Our recliners (real leather) were slated for possible April delivery. They came in and were delivered yesterday. Due to this virus there have been customers what monthS especially for leather. Thankfully maybe delivery is on an improved timeline. At least ours was, yay! Happy customers this morning 🌄 We slept in our recliners, so we're more than satisfied 😁 Beautiful showroom with large selection of furniture to choose from.

My wife and I bought a house and bought a sectional couch, and two recliners to go with it from Ashley’s in Sherman. We were told we would get everything except a corner piece to the couch in 4 weeks. But we would have to wait 8 weeks for the corner piece. Sounded fair enough. After waiting 2 months to get anything we got three corner pieces to the couch, and two recliners but they forgot a cord for one of the cup holders that go on the couch so you can charge appliances. So I spend the next six weeks calling asking when our stuff is supposed to be in and every single time I called I got told, “it’s on the truck will either be here late this week or the beginning of next week.” I finally asked for the scheduling department phone number and called them, and they say they have it and we schedule a time for it to be delivered. So at this point, I’ve waited a month and a half longer than what they said, and with COVID I would excuse that i wasn’t told every single week my couch was going to be there in a few days when that was clearly not the case. So they finally deliver all my stuff and they forget the cord and a back pillow to my couch. So now at this point I’m debating on seeing if Amazon has a matching back cushion and cord so I don’t have to wait another 2 months to get something that should have been here the first time. Use another furniture company next time. I’ve never seen customer service like this before and they lost me as a customer forever.
Brian was great! He stayed after a meeting to help me and it was his day off! His excellent customer service was refreshing. The manager I believe his name was Alex worked great with Brian and us to get to where we were comfortable with the process. We will definitely return and ask for Brian!
Absolutely wonderful experience our sales man didn’t try to upsell like most stores do. He stayed right at my budget. He was super helpful and explained everything in detail! The management at the store was also very helpful totally great experience!! Will definitely keep my business!!

Sales persons were helpful and willing to negotiate. Delivery is horrible.... still waiting 1 month later and being told that some items won’t come in until next year. I understand COVID 19; but this needs to be communicated up front; not a month later. Why have items in your show room that you can’t deliver on? I liked what I saw but I will definitely go somewhere else for my future furniture needs.

Overall Customer Service first and foremost. Customers shouldn't have to bring their furniture home in a box, then have to assemble it themselves after having paid so much money for it. Assembly should be a customer service courtesy for buying their products.

I am ONLY giving 2 starts because of how much we appreciate Brian. However, we should’ve listened to everyone else when they told us about Ashley’s delivery times even before the pandemic hit. First we were told 3-4 weeks (end of aug) except for one corner piece of our sectional (that piece can take up to 8 weeks, okay fine, we can work with that). We’re then updated that it won’t be until mid October, then late September, then back to mid October. I finally called and I was told everything except one armless chair could be delivered! Great, we can do without one piece for now! -might I add that Brian told us later that he had no idea items where available for delivery, I had to inform him they were- Now I go to look at my order summary for delivery today and I’m only receiving the corners of the sectional and the consoles.. that’s 2 extra IMPORTANT pieces not coming. What is the point of getting a couch delivered when it’s 3 corners. I advise everyone to spend their time and money elsewhere.
Brian and his associates were great! he helped up find what we wanted within our budget, was honest, kind, and super helpful! Customer Service on point! EDIT: I'm like extremely annoyed with this company. Like I said the customer service was great but they had already ran my husband's credit before they told us that it would be at least three months before we got our mattress and couches. It would've been nice to know that upfront since we are buying new mattresses and couches because we are uncomfortable. We could've and WOULDVE taken another route and not made my husbands credit take another Inquiry. Now we are stuck waiting several weeks for our furniture pretty much stuck. my original rating was five stars because of the customer service and I do understand with Covid how difficult things are... It would've really been nice to know these things before they ran my husband's credit.
First of all you only get 1 star because I have to to leave a review! We purchased our sectional May 8th and was told 2-4 weeks for delivery! When we inquire about it, "waiting on a part,it will be first of next month"? We've been told this going on 4 months now! Ask for refund and of course "we cant"! Wth? How do you sale furniture you cant deliver? WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE HERE AGAIN! I mean I understand covid and all but your supposed to be a furniture store! I even called corporate and left a message a month ago,no one has returned my call? Not good Ashley!
In store, ken was great, but after getting my furniture and having a damaged bed rail and trying to deal with customer service on the phone because the store does not handle this, never again, they don’t answer phone calls or emails!!!!!
I had a fabulous experience! Bryan was so helpful, letting me shop around and change my mind and change it again when I found a piece I liked better. He handled everything effortlessly, there was no pressure to buy anything and he answered any questions I had along the way. 10/10 would recommend, and we will definitely be shopping here again.

Deffinetly will try to push you into buying. Not a place for someone that has a hard time saying no. Not a place to just look for furniture. Way better experience at NFM.

We were looking for a chair for our nursery during the middle of the initial coronavirus outbreak. Everyone was very accommodating to help us and understood our need for timeliness given we were expecting our first child. Kay was our primary associate and seemed to be willing to bend over backwards to help us, though honestly all the associates we encountered were all very helpful and dedicated to our satisfaction. They also were willing and able to make last minute changes to our order when our baby arrived earlier than expected, assembling and delivering our chair for us. We would gladly make a purchase from them again in the future. Very satisfied.

I am never disappointed with shopping at Ashley's HomeStore in Sherman, TX (really, any of their locations). They acknowledge you when you come in with a friendly and professional attitude no matter how you look. I cannot say that with other furniture stores. Today I purchased a King bedroom set from Brian. He listened to what I was looking for and made it happen in my budget. I will be back to shop again. 😁😁😁 Update: My king bedroom set was delivered yesterday. It was great using the tracker to determine when the delivery guys were showing up. They were on time (at the beginning of the 2 hour appointment window). The delivery guys were professional and friendly. At the end, they even asked me if I had any questions for them. I gotta state again: I will be back to shop at Ashley Homestore again.😁😁😁

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst customer service I have experience. They give us a time frame and every week after that time frame is “it’s on the truck and will be here next week”. My furniture has been on the truck for 3 weeks so far. I understand during COVID it will take a little longer but at least be truthful. Honesty goes a long way but this company has zero. They told me if we cancel our order we will have to pay a restocking fee of 30%. I will never do business with them again and I will advise everyone I know looking for furniture to stay away from them.
Wish I would have looked at reviews prior to shopping. Ordered back in April with a 2-4 week timeframe. We’re dealing with covid so I expected a possible delay. We’ve still yet to get our furniture.( 6 weeks out now) and We’ve called weekly to check and keep being told “next week” every single week. Called today only to be told we’d have to pay 30% restock fee since it’s “loading” (which means on a truck) but they have no clue where it even is and they still don’t know when the truck will arrive and our stuff will be here. They lie and have 0 concern for helping customers. Sometimes taking the loss to appease your customers is the move but clearly they aren’t concerned. Please avoid this store.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Alex is incapable of returning calls, multiple calls at that. We first started attempting to deal with him a week ago. I found a couch I liked online so we went to check it out in person. After talking we decided to purchase it and we called multiple times for a pricing question. He was always unavailable, which is fine. We left our name and number and were told he would call us back. My husband even physically drove to the store a second time to speak with him in person since we could not get ahold him after a day or two. Alex assured him he was still trying to answer our question and would get back to us ASAP. That was a week ago. We called today and again, he was busy and never called us back. All I wanted to know is if they could price match in store to their Ashley furniture.com online price for a sofa and loveseat set. The price almost doubled overnight so Alex supposedly was calling to see if he could match it for us. I even spoke with their customer service 1-800 number and they told me he should match the price no problem in store for us 🙄 even if he couldn’t or didn’t want to match the price, the least he could do was call us to say that. To Alex, you’re the worst. To anyone else reading this review- check out Nebraska Furniture Mart.
Sales people did a great job. Everything was fine until they took our money, and made US do ALL follow up for the next month! They stated a 10 day delivery to store. Thanks for a NOT so HAPPY BIRTHDAY present to our son!!! Needless to say - We feel MORE could have been done in their part - We Will not shop here again!

*Buyer beware* This store deserves a 0. Terrible customer service! NO follow up! The "service reps" do not care about service and do not care about giving accurate information. I bought a bed in early November 2019. I was told the bed was on back order and that I could expect delivery in 4 to 6 weeks. The store promised follow up during the delay and would be sure to let me know the exact date of delivery. I never heard from the store. I waited until the beginning of the 7th week to follow up and was told that the bed would be available in a "couple of weeks" and the store would follow up with me. Given my experience thus far, I was skeptical anyone would follow up and of course they did not. I called several times and was told a different version of the same story multiple times. When I began asking about cancelling the transaction things got even worse. To make a long tragic story short, I drove to Grapevine and picked up the bed on Feb. 8th. Lesson learned, I will never again do business with this store.

If I could give a zero for service I would. I purchased a new bed, bedroom furniture and a desk. I was told that they could get it to me on the 19th. I called the night of the 18th when I didn't get a call. I was told the furniture came in on the 18th and they could deliver the 25th. I went back to look at the receipt with I never did because I made it clear I was moving in to my new house from CA and needed it even earlier but waited because I like the set and thought a few days was fine. Last thing I every purchase from this store. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

GO TO SIGNATURE FURNITURE ON TEXOMA INSTEAD!!! They sell the same furniture!! Love my furniture....but I WAY overpaid by buying at this store...let alone the poor customer service I received when I had shipping/delivery problems. OH and you will pay less for delivery at SIGNATURE FURNITURE also!!

Mosaab was the best! I walked in this location and was greeted right away. Mosaab gave me time to look and followed up with me to see if I had any questions. He was well knowledgeable and informative. I didn't feel pressured, he was more concerned with what I wanted vs selling. I walked in unsure of what I actually wanted and walked out with a bedroom and living room set. Can't wait for it to be delivered.

Salesmen lie and will tell you furniture delivery is only a couple weeks out and they're running ahead of schedule. Lies, make sure you can wait 4-6 weeks for your furniture. Most importantly, DO NOT buy from Will, foul temper, doesn't return calls after the purchase, simply put he's worse than a car salesman.
I ordered over $2,000 at this Frisco location and the delivery date was changed 3 times now after being promised we would receive it before Christmas. NOT. We took off work for the delivery and planed a family gathering. No courtesy call on the RESCHEDULED delivery dates EACH TIME, no apologies, no discounts. Thanks Ashley furniture. I will never shop with them again after all this, including the poor customer service. Update- 4 times now! Delivery date was changed AGAIN!!!! Now they said we will receive our furniture on New Years Day?? I am sure it will be reschedule again!!
Jeremy was awesome! He was very attentive and knowledgeable... not pushy or overbearing like some salespeople can be. He gave us just enough space/time to look at everything and make decisions while also checking in to ensure we didn't have any questions or need his assistance with anything. When we finally settled on what we were looking for, he gave us some great deals and got us taken care of expeditiously. We would definitely recommend him if anyone is in need of a great furniture buying experience!

My husband and I just moved to the area and have been shopping around for a new bedroom set and we were feeling pretty defeated when we went to Ashely, but we were greeted right away by 'Frisco Fred' and the hopeless feel went right out the door. Fred was so incredibly patient with us. We lapped the store at least 5 times and every time a new piece caught our eye Fred was there to help us price it and talk through it. I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for furniture to visit Ashley and speak with 'Frisco Fred'! He has a genuine heart to help his customers and not himself. Thanks Fred!!
This store had been our go-to since we moved in 2007. We have built a great relationship with "Frisco Fred" who is the sales person there. He truly is amazing, always treated us great. We really appreciate his help because he tries his best to give us the best deal where any other stores or other brands can no where match the price. Had an excellent furniture buying experience with Ashley this weekend. Our salesperson was Jason and he did a wonderful job. We let him know we were looking for living room furniture. He invited us to tour the showroom at our leisure. He was attentive but not pushy and when we told him we wanted to take some time to consider our purchase and return at a later date, he was fine with that. When we returned the next day to buy the living room set, there were no unpleasant surprises regarding price...in fact, we received a credit for a protection agreement we purchased and never used on a piece of furniture we purchased from Ashley over 10 years earlier. I was very impressed that Ashley advised us of that credit without us even requesting it. Good job Jason and Ashley-an excellent experience.

We were happy the minute we walked in. We were quickly greeted by Brian, who was very nice and helpful. He patiently worked with us as we tried out many sofas to find the right one. He knew a lot about each one and really assisted us in weighing their pros and cons. We ended up purchasing a leather sofa and love seat. They quickly price matched a deal I had found via the internet - no negotiation required. The price point is amazing. They should be delivered in a couple of weeks. We also purchased a 5-yr protection plan. If we don’t end up using it, we receive store credit for that amount. So it’s a win-win situation. It’s offered thru Ashley’s, not a third party. I’m looking forward to returning to the store after the furniture is delivered to work with the store designer to buy tables, lamps and a rug. Highly recommend!! Update: Our furniture was delivered and it looks great! There was a slight indentation on one of the sofa cushions. The delivery man took a pic of it and I was quickly contacted by Amy to arrange to have it repaired. I was reluctant because it wasn’t real noticeable and I didn’t want to make it worse. Amy took time to explain the process of how they would fix it which was very reassuring. Anthony came out to our home less than a week later and skillfully fixed the indentation by adding more stuffing and actually added more to some of the other cushions to ensure I was happy. He also spent time explaining how to care for my new furniture which I really appreciate. I learned a few things! He really went the extra mile and has a lot of expertise. Thank you Anthony and Amy!
Frisco Fred greeted me at the door and graciously helped me pick out the perfect furniture within my budget. He was friendly and knowledgeable! He worked hard to get me special financing and my furniture delivered by my move in date, even though I live outside the delivery area! The product, customer service and price I received at Ashley Furniture in Frisco are well worth the 2 hour drive! I couldn't be more pleased with my Ashley Furniture experience and the customer service Frisco Fred provided! They have a customer for life!
Updating this review because Ashleys is garbage. Just over a year since I've owned the furniture and my dresser has had a broken drawer for at least 7 months. I've owned an ikea dresser for 8 years and haven't had this issue. Don't waste your money

It's October 5th and still no phone call. When I contacted the store their response was it could take an additional 2-3 week just to receive a phone call to arrange delivery. I told them this was very poor service on their behalf. Their response to me was, "well sir you can cancel your order, but you have to come to our home store."Beware, all they care about is making the sell, and that's it!!! They don't care or make any effort to make sure you actually receive the furniture. Go to Ashley in Garland much better service, stay away from Frisco

Whatever you do make absolute sure you make it over to Ashley's furniture Frisco Texas. I repeat it must be the one in Frisco!! And specifically you need to speak and deal with Frisco Fred. The reason I say this is because I had been shopping for three days straight from sun up to sundown and been to every furniture store in the DFW area. I met quite a few sales people on the floor but no one compared to Frisco Fred out at Ashley's furniture in Frisco!!! All sales people can honestly take quite a few lessons from this young man! He was as cool as a cucumber and made shopping for me an absolute joy and breeze at the same time. He went to all ends of the world to make sure I was satisfied in every respect of the experience. I pray to God that his employer values him as much as he needs to be valued and that he gets a raise immediately. I also want to recommend that the supervisor at Ashley's furniture make absolute sure that all other sales people are trained under Frisco Fred. God bless You Fred tenfold thank you so much for a out of this world experience because of you I will always come to Ashley's!

They are running a scam here. THey will say anything and lie to you just to sell you stuff... Don't buy mattresses unless if you have done your own research.. We were able to browse all possible without feeling pressured or rushed and he made sure we walked out with exactly what we needed and were looking for. After Fred helped us get our items picked out, Tim was incredibly friendly and helpful getting everything officially ordered and paid for. We've worked with Tim a few times now and he has always been such a pleasure to work with! We've always loved our Ashley Furniture, but between Fred and Tim, the experience today was by far the best we've had!

The salesman is nice but we ordered the furniture Aug 2 said it would be in the week of the 19th. As of today, they dont know when it is coming in. I am not happy paying for furniture that I ordered and the money already taken out and they dont know when it will be here. This is unacceptable. If I knew it would take this long, I would have looked at other places but this is not acceptable and I have to pay for them to ship it too. I would look some place else if you need furniture. Update:Now lied to by sales rep. Delivery date keeps getting moving back. Spoke to the store manager and that was a waste. Never told certain things about this order. I keep asking the sales person questions about when the pieces were coming in 3 times to confirm the order. One piece was suppose to be late in Sept and when I asked him on the invoice what that date was for . He stated the completed order in which one piece was going to be that late . The others were suppose to be here this week and they are not. Now its another week then add 3 days to schedule delivery but the money has all been taken out and nothing to show for it. AVOID THEM. TYPICALLY SALES PEOPLE AND THE MANAGER SUPPORTING HIM. New update:As of today 8/26/2019, wife was told some other delievery date and 5 days to get out for delievery. I was told Friday 8/24/2019, that it would be in the 31 and they would make an effort to get it out ASAP but that wont happen. They took the full amount of money out and we have to wait for our stuff. WE WILL BE GOING IN TONIGHT TO CANCEL OUR ORDER. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND BAD BUSONESS PRACTICES. STAY AWAY. GO TO ROOMS TO GO OR SOME PLACE ELSE. UPDATE: had to make a threat of cancelling order and now it was all of a sudden in but now it was delivered damaged and not hooked up or checked to see if it was working properly. Horrible customer service.... ordered couches in June to be delivered in july.... still no furniture. Called and spoke to Matti at the Frisco store about trying to get my furniture delivery excited with no luck.... she said they would be willing to possibly wave my delivery fee of $100.... wow really thx but we still have to wait 2 more weeks... Do yourselves a favour and buy your stuff at Nebraska Furniture Mart and save yourself the headache of dealing with Ashley Homestore

I got a great deal on my sofa plus a recliner and chair and a half.so pretty. The man who helped us was very nice and helpful. So if you go in ask for Brian he was loads of help and really nice.
It was so so nothing to brag about no bright colors of furniture all dark and brown need more colors to light up the place.
Update! I ended up buying from Ashley direct. Ryan, the Director of our Texas Ashley Furniture's out here, even though he wasn't a sales guy was able to price match the King set, sofa and loveseat price that was offered by another website. He did a great job! nice guy, didn't B.S me to one of his assistants. I'm thankful he took care of me Praise also to the call center and delivery guys. Both focused and fast! The furniture is beautiful, The quality seems like it will last. Why I didn't give 5 stars:No apology from the Store Manager, I never even spoke to him once.If you are dealing with customers and they're not happy you must be humble and apologize. I'm not in the Furniture sale world but I could probably compare them to a car salesman by first impression Overall, Ryan told me they're a hands on family business. I support family businesses. I will do business again with them

Ultimately I would suggest using another Ashley store because my experience with this one was not great. FYI..... Update, two months later we still don't have all of our furniture.
Just bought a sofa and a mattress from Blake at this store. Had the most amazing service. He was patient and kind especially since the items i was purchasing were for my 82 year old father. Please go see Blake. He is so knowledgeable and thorough.

I bought a recliner at the Sherman, TX store on a Friday afternoon and by Monday evening had buyers' remorse and decided to cancel my order. When I called on Tuesday morning, however, I was told the item had already been pulled (but not shipped) so, while I could cancel the order, there would be a 30% restocking fee. What? Thirty percent? At the time of purchase I was told it would take 2 - 4 weeks for the item to be delivered. How, then, had it been pulled from stock already after just four days? The manager wouldn't budge on the re-stocking fee, and I wasn't willing to pay for nothing, so, I had to accept the recliner after all. Word of caution: If you buy something from this store, you have only until the next day to change your mind.
Great help from Frisco Fred! We bought a bedroom suit, box springs, and two couches. Fred was knowledgeable and helpful. We also appreciate Tim's help in credit.

I called this location, spoke to a women and she told me they price match. . . awesome! We went to Ashley, got spit on by Eddie the sales guy during his sales pitch, we decided to leave. The sales pitch is like buying a car, long and boring because they're trying to convince you that you need a $3000 mattress. Called and got Johnny D's e-mail, he's out of the country I guess. They didn't tell me that when I called so I called back and got the e-mail of Aaron B I e-mailed about a Gabriela Poster 4 piece bedroom set; This set is $1388. 00 at another website, white glove out the door price. Also a Cool Gel Mattress and a sofa sleeper and loveseat. Aaron got close but he was unable to match . I told him I would pass unless he was able to match and beat the price, I didn't think we would match the price on the mattress so I dropped that. I also asked him to throw me a deal on a gray sleeper on loveseat. He responded with "I apologize, but we do not have that available" I e-mailed back and told him his lack of response was unprofessional as I called and they said they price match. I'm trying to get the e-mail for the General Manager but when I called the Plano store I have to deal with Joey when he's back in town. I don't think ill be able to strike a deal with Ashley, sadly. . .
My whole experience with this store has been the absolute worst. March 8th, I was mislead from the time I walked in and spoke to their dishonest salesman, Noel. I was promised that since I paid for the prime delivery and etc, that my furniture would be in within 2 weeks. Lie! I went up there exactly 2 weeks and was told by the "manager" that my delivery date would be April 17th. Not even a week later, I received a call from a female employee with an "update" that my delivery date would be May 1st. I let her know that I'm extremely unhappy with this new information and would like my salesman to give me a call. He did not. So 2 days later I pay him a visit. He tells me that since it's a Saturday he can't tell me what changed my delivery date. So I tell him I will give him until Tuesday. Well he never called and I pay the store another visit. I was greeted by a woman named, Angela. I ask for their corporate number and she tells me that she is "basically corporate." I give her the details of my frustrations and that i just want my money back at this point. She informs me that "I signed a contract and all sales are final." I tell her that nothing has been delivered besides the lamps. So by now I see that she is clearly unconcerned or bothered. So I state that I might need to speak with a lawyer. She looks at me and tells me very clearly that "you do what you have to do." She did mention to me about picking something else out and them crunching the numbers for me. But at this point, I do not want any dealings with this store. I just want my money back. I have not heard back from anyone since speaking with Angela. Great customer service huh. They have ruined my daughter's and I whole first experience in furniture shopping. They only got the star because you can't post without one. They get 0 stars from me. And I will let everyone know not to waste their money or time in this place.

I bought a couch here only seven months ago for 2,000$. It is just me and my wife that sit on the couch on a daily basis. After three months of owning the couch the stitching has completely came out of the cushions. There are rips in the frame cover as well as multiple cushions at the seems. I even bought the best extended warranty for the couch and have tried multiple times to get start a claim for coverage . After me leaving work on three different occasions to meet three different inspectors Ashely's furniture decided the damage was "normal ware and they would not cover it". So if you want furniture that is destroyed after a few months of owning it make sure you go to Ashley's furniture. They said it themselves that it's normal for one of their couches to be ripped after three months. Me and my family have always went to Ashley's for our furniture needs. I will make sure no one that i know ever buys anything at Ashley's furniture again if they don't reach out and get some resolution.
Brian cowart is an absolute professional. We had a very comfortable and no pressure experience and after a short amount of time he helped us find the perfect mattress for myself and spouse but also our budget. He went above and beyond my expectations as a first time buyer and made it a very easy process. i highly recommend this man and will do future business with him.

I had to change my review. My husband ordered a chair, paid for it, and when he tried to pick up the chair they switched it for a cheaper chair. Dishonest
They will not tell you that lead time to get an order made and delivered is around a month out. They also will not tell you that upon arrival to the local warehouse you might be waiting even further past the date they guaranteed. If I knew I had to wait this long I would have shopped elsewhere. In the future I will not consider Ashley because of not being upfront with the shipping timeline and only providing me a date after they processed the charge to my credit card.
Todd made our first experience to an Ashley Furniture store very pleasant! He told my sister and I that he has been in the business for about 20 years, we could certainly tell by his knowledge and expertise. The manager gave us a nice discount on high end furniture and all other employees were very friendly! We will refer friends and family here!

Not normally a yelp kind of guy. But I went in there yesterday with my girlfriend and had a great experience. We are a young couple in our early 20's moving to our first place on our own. We've been saving for a while now and have enough to pretty much furnish our entire place. What I expected was to walk in and be blown off because we are young in a nice furniture store but Blake Long, an RSA, gave us all the help we needed. Took the time to show us everything we asked about and then some. A lot of salesmen might take one look at us and roll their eyes because we're younger and not take us seriously but Blake treated us great! Only been to Ashley's once before but will definitely go back to work with Blake

We were sold two $150 power packs being told we would require two for our sofa when in fact we don’t. The sales person took payment for the power packs over the phone. I was under the impression she was keying this payment in. Four hours later I had to contact her to process the charge. I don’t appreciate my payment method being written down and being over sold power packs. I had a fraudulent charge on my card within hrs of providing the card number. It could be coincidence but either way I filed a police report.

Synopsis: I'm surprisingly more than impressed. They get a "Oh, Wow!" from me simply by the customer service i received. My brother and I went to get my grandmother a replacement recliner. This is not only a chair for her, but the place she spends her entire days, and also sleeps in. After a couple hours searching we "found what she liked". Purchase Completed > Delivery came around anticipated time. .... now heres where the "wow factor" comes into play. We get the chair back home, and after 1 day being gone I come back to find my Grandmother is over across the living room sleeping in her old chair. "Whats wrong" you may ask? "I dont know i just dont like it..." is her response .... I check the receipt and sure enough we signed an, "All Sales Final" policy. ...I gave a call, knowing it was a shot in the dark. No luck. A week later I get a call from the sales guy wanting to know how we are liking the chair. I explained that "she hasn't even been in it more than a couple hours, she hates it. But i know its all sales final and i already asked if we could return it but was told no.".... "Give me a minute i'll call you back", he said. Within 10 minutes I got a call. "If the chair hasn't been used, and is in same as new condition, keep that wrap on it, and bring it back and pick out another, then cover the difference if any. We'll take care of y'all, Just come on back in." .... I was shocked and surprised i couldn't believe my ears. ABOVE AND BEYOND doesn't even begin to describe that man. Thanks again, and we'll be back again Ashley Furniture. Amazing job. **** The Salesman (Ken) was very nice, wasn't "pushy", Ken let us think on the exchange purchase without any typical salesperson sense of "i gotta make this sale, don't waste my time" - None of that - was very accommodating, he might've mixed up our names a few times but still gets an A++ in my book. lol ****
