I was trying to match price the item with another furniture store in exact same item same size same everything and they did not match the price because the name is different. Who cares what the name is as long as it’s the same item if they call their Furniture different name that doesn’t mean I have to follow that they do that on purpose just use Google pictures. The sales staff and management here are the worst here! Salespeople and management pressure you to buy furniture, mattresses, and worthless protections plans on the first visit so they can score their commissions, they don't care about you, they care about money. They lack the communication skills to clearly communicate value, and they lack the interior design background to consult. Sales staff and managment seem to be busy sitting around tables and chit chatting and laughing while customers needed assistance. We bought elsewhere!

I purchased a sofa for ₹3,700 from Ashley’s Sugarland on November 29, 2025. After delivery, I noticed a small hole/defect, which appears to be a manufacturing issue. I hope the Ashley team will provide a proper exchange. The product quality is otherwise good, but better inspection before delivery is needed.

So here’s the story so I found a living room set that I was interested in so I went and checked it out and I was greeted by Mr. Muhammad he treated me very well. He showed me everything about the living room set and I told him I would come back and bring my wife so the next time we went my wife was with me. I showed her the living room set. She really didn’t like the color so Mr. Muhammad showed us a different one. My wife really liked it. I had my doubts about it. We told Mr. Muhammad we would come back. We would think about it and come back so my third trip. Me and my wife went and looked at the living room set for the last time and decided to buy it. Mr. Muhammad said he was with the customer give him 10 minutes and he will be back. After 30 minutes went by Another gentleman came and asked me have you been helped and I said yes By Mr. Muhammad, but he was dealing with another customer I told him that there was a big game, Texas Longhorns, and Texas. Aggies game and I wanted to make it home to see the game.He told me that he could help me and check me out in 10 minutes and I would be on my way. Well, at that time, Mr. Muhammad came up and I told the gentleman I said well Mr Hammed be getting the credit for the sale And a gentleman kept telling Mr. Muhammad to leave I got this He also told Mr. Muhammad that he was told by his supervisor to handle it Which that was not the case, and he also told Mr. Hammett that I myself said five times if I could help him That was not true and then he began to tell Mr. Muhammad to walk away. So at time I said forget it we don’t want it after all. So at that time me and my wife decided just to leave we were very Unhappy And on the way out, a gentleman came up to me and said have you been Helped and we said yes But there was too much arguing going on and we’re about to leave And he stopped us and said that’s not the case I promise you I can get you out of here in 10 minutes. Please give me a chance. So we went back and this gentleman ended up, checking us out and gave Mr. Muhammad the credit For the sale all I have to say about this Is Ashley’s furniture puts out a good product but they definitely Need to work together on the salesman If they can’t get along, your customers will get some gone.So now we’re still waiting on our living room set to be delivered.

I ordered my dresser online, but I called the Sugarland store and spoke to Travis and he told me that they didn't have that product in the store, so it would be better if I came in the store and ordered it. And he gave me a little discount which worked out perfect. My dresser would be delivered to my address by Tuesday so all in all it was just a great deal! Keep up the good work Ashley 👏🏼

I’m a senior citizen and I didn’t wanna go into the store and the young man that helped me. It was so wonderful. He re-ordered cause I tried to do it online and that wouldn’t work and like I told him I’m a hairdresser I don’t know how to work computers, but he did everything for me. He got the sofa I wanted he’s having it shipped on 9 December. He was wonderful. It was a very good experience. Thank you. I’ll come back.

Our sales representative was amazing. She went above and beyond to fix all the errors. However her manger charged us for two king size mattress instead of a split king set up. We found out when the original delivery came and we were asked where they need to set up two king mattresses with only a split king frame. We had to return to the store to have the ordered canceled and submitted correctly. We did go back to the store and had the order submitted correctly. But the two mattresses ( split king set up) we purchased were not available. We were not told until after we left the store the second time. So one of the mattresses was upgraded but we cannot use any of the upgraded features as the frame needs to be upgraded as well, which we were not told. We figured that out when bed was finally delivered. Did I mention our second delivery date was canceled and I had to contact the store again. If I did not check. I would have been waiting for the bed. We have the bed, it’s not exactly the experience you expect for the amount of money and patience that was given to the Ashley furniture staff. Not sure we will even keep the bed.

The level of dishonesty from the sales associates, store managers, and customer care representatives is shocking. I purchased a sectional on 9/5, and it was delivered on 9/12 in terrible condition — damaged, stained, and not functioning properly. When I immediately called Ashley customer care on the same day, I was told there was nothing they could do because I was “sold a showroom piece” and that all sales were final. This was the first lie, because I was sold the sectional as brand new and was told it was simply the last one in stock. Because Ashley refused to help, I contacted my bank to file a dispute and was instructed not to communicate with Ashley until the dispute was processed. On 11/21, the funds were reversed back to Ashley because they claimed they had spoken with me and arranged an exchange — another blatant lie. There was never any communication about an exchange. No calls, no emails, nothing. Forced to deal with Ashley again, I spent nearly two hours on the phone with two different customer service reps who were clearly outsourced overseas and unable to comprehend the situation no matter how many times I explained it. They insisted an exchange had been set up for four chairs and a table — which makes absolutely no sense because I purchased a sectional couch, not dining furniture. They kept repeating scripted lines about “all sales being final” and that this happened “three months ago,” ignoring every fact I provided. At this point, it is clear Ashley Furniture uses lying sales associates, dishonest store managers, and incompetent, outsourced customer service to avoid honoring basic consumer rights. Their customer care team uses deceptive tactics to claim phantom conversations or nonexistent exchanges just to shut down disputes. I paid for a new sectional, received a damaged showroom piece, and have been lied to at every single step. Save yourself the stress — do NOT shop at Ashley Furniture. Their business practices are unethical, misleading, and completely customer-hostile.

He made us feel very comfortable and was very patient and understanding as we took a long time to decide. He also got us the best deal and saved us significant amount of money. I bought an electric recliner from Ashley Furniture at a higher price because I trusted their name and brand value. I figured paying more meant it would last at least 4–5 years, especially since I could’ve found something similar at other stores for less. I even purchased the extended warranty for extra peace of mind. Unfortunately, the recliner’s motor stopped working almost exactly one year later. When I contacted Ashley’s customer service, they asked me to switch to text, upload photos, and then a couple of days later, send a video. I thought everything was moving along, but after nearly two weeks, they told me my one-year warranty had just expired and that I needed to contact the extended warranty company instead. I’m still trying to get the recliner fixed, and the whole process has been frustrating. I’m sharing this because I purchased the recliner from this store and expected better support. If you’re buying from Ashley thinking you’re getting high-quality furniture and reliable extended warranty coverage, my experience has been the opposite. In my opinion, the extended warranty hasn’t been helpful, and the fact that the recliner failed right after a year makes me question the quality as well. The phone number they provided connects to a customer care center in the Philippines, and this is the same customer care, I’ve been dealing with for the past 13 days. You can see in attached screenshot as well. It took an hour for me to explain that they are not doing anything with my claim and there is no progress.

This company is a joke. Do not purchase the protection program! It says you get a store credit if you have no claims within 5 years. Bullshit. I have it all in writing and they won’t give me a credit. I tried customer service and they can’t help either.

We visited Ashley Furniture in Sugarland on the evening of October 30, 2025, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. The showroom felt quite empty, with only one sales person, Mohamed, present. Although he greeted us initially, he did not offer the level of engagement, guidance, or suggestions we were hoping for. We were looking to purchase a Queen Bed for our guest room, as well as other items like an office table, study table, chairs, and a dresser which we decided to inform later . However, Mohamed seemed preoccupied with another customer and was unable to provide the attention or assistance needed only until called. This lack of focus and support was disappointing, especially given the importance of good sales help when making these purchases. There is clearly room for improvement in customer service and sales interaction at this location. Based on our experience, we ultimately decided to go with Rooms to Go for our furniture needs. Please share this review with your sales team so they can better understand what customers truly expect and the importance of staying focused on their needs. Overall, I would rate our visit 2 out of 5. Ashley Furniture needs to ensure they have attentive, knowledgeable sales associates to meet customer expectations.

The design is ridiculous ,, you can’t even put a proper box spring or any wooden support inside to hold the mattress. They only gave a useless frame and called it a bed! The quality is beyond terrible ,, cheap material, weak structure, and zero durability. For the price they charge, it’s a complete scam. Every time I see this bed, I feel like throwing it out. Never again buying anything from Ashley’s ,their furniture looks fine in the showroom but turns out to be trash at home. If you value your money and peace of mind, stay far away from Ashley’s Furniture!

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a discriminatory experience I had at your store when I visited to purchase a bed. During my visit, a staff member named Mrs. Pat made several inappropriate and offensive comments. She complimented my Coach bag, and when I mentioned that it belonged to my late grandmother and had been gifted to me, she responded by saying, “Oh, it’s legit then.” This comment was deeply disrespectful and carried a racially charged undertone, implying that the bag’s authenticity was questionable until I mentioned my grandmother. Additionally, when my mother did not want to sit Mrs. Pat dismissively told her to “get a broom and get to work.” This statement was not only rude and unprofessional, but also completely unacceptable. Due to this experience, I chose not to complete my purchase. It was not a financial issue it was the blatant racial bias and lack of respect shown to me and my family.I am asking that this incident be formally investigated and addressed. All ETAs were within the delivery window; I would just have preferred one notice when I was the next stop. The delivery itself was great; efficient and professional.

Let’s get right into it. It was a Sunday, and I had been searching all day for a couch. The Texas heat was not helping.. I was tired, and hot. So I looked up furniture stores after visiting other places, and Ashley popped up.. I gave it a go. So glad I did. Location is great also. A super polite, and helpful employee named Travis was right on top of things, I told him what I needed, and was in the store maybe 20 mins or less, and everything was done.. and I was out the door. Thank you so much, I look forward to buying all my furniture at this location. So convenient, no hidden fees, or items being shown on the floor with the wrong price on purpose to reel you in. Ashley, and Travis saved me, and saved me money!!!! I’m so happy.

The salesman I worked with at the store was very rude. When I said I didn't want the extended warranty that he had written down as free for $300 he got mad. He told me I had waisted his time.

Jay, stressed me out until I was unsure of what wanted. I felt like I was on stage for the great debate. I even had to hear about how he the top mattress expert and how much money he makes Ashley. Sir can you please listen to the customer. Another furniture company did so I bought from them.

RUN. These people are liars and thieves. My husband and I purchased a $4,000 couch from Ashley’s Furniture along with a $600, five-year protection plan. We were specifically told this plan covered staining, the only reason we agreed to purchase it. At four years and six months into the plan, I visited the store to file a stain claim. The staff gave me a phone number to call, but it was the wrong number. I returned, was given another number, again wrong. I went back a third time, wrong again. After three failed attempts and a lot of frustration, I finally reached the warranty company, only to be told my stains were considered “wear and tear” and therefore not covered. (It seems they label everything as “wear and tear” to avoid paying claims.) Only after I expressed my frustration did the store manager, Kyle, step in. He privately offered me three options: 1. 50% off any furniture purchase. 2. Get the couch serviced at my expense, then bring in the invoice for reimbursement. 3. A full $600 refund by check. Naturally, I chose the refund check. Weeks went by with no progress, despite my repeated follow-ups. For two months, I received no resolution. Kyle stopped responding entirely, forcing me to visit the store in person again, where I met Akon. Akon told me the only “solution” now was a $600 in-store credit, not the check I was promised. This is nothing more than a bait-and-switch to force me to spend more money at Ashley’s, which I have no intention of doing. Ashley’s Furniture wasted my time for months, misrepresented their warranty, and broke their promise of a full refund. I have proof and physical evidence of these false claims and am prepared to escalate this matter further.

It should not be this hard for a paying customer to receive quality service or a fair resolution. At this point, I can only say: customer service is still a joke, the furniture is poor quality, and I strongly urge others to avoid wasting time or money with Ashley. Extremely Disappointed – Poor Quality and Even Worse Customer Service My husband and I purchased a bed set from Ashley Home Furniture about a year ago. We specifically chose what was marketed as the highest tier of furniture quality available—the most expensive and supposedly most durable option Ashley sells. We were excited to invest in something we believed would be long-lasting and high quality. But within just 2–3 months of normal use, we noticed that the wood veneer on the bed frame had started chipping and peeling—without any damage or misuse on our part. It was immediately clear that this was a manufacturer defect. Even more shocking was discovering that what we thought would be solid wood construction was actually a very thin veneer over a lower-grade material. For the premium price point and Ashley’s claims of quality, we expected much more. This only reinforced how far Ashley’s product standards seem to have fallen. We reached out to Ashley’s customer service team expecting them to stand behind their product. Instead, we spent nearly six months going back and forth—waiting for updates, following up repeatedly—only to finally be told that our warranty claim was denied. The reason? They said the issue had to be reported within 72 hours of delivery. While we were informed of this policy for delivery-related damage, our claim was not about delivery damage—it was about a clear manufacturer defect that only became visible with time. It’s disappointing that Ashley refuses to distinguish between the two or honor their product warranty in cases like this. We’re incredibly disappointed—not only in the subpar quality of the furniture but in the lack of accountability and customer support from Ashley. For a company of this size to dismiss a long-time customer with a legitimate concern is truly disheartening. Bottom line: don’t be misled by the price tag or the “premium” label. Our experience shows that even Ashley’s top-tier furniture may be made with cheap materials—and their warranty process is designed to protect the company, not the customer. We won’t be shopping here again, and we urge others to think twice before making a purchase.

Felix greeted us immediately upon our entrance to Ashley. He asked how we needed assistance and I told him I wanted to just look around and we would find him when we were ready to ask questions. We went to bedroom suits, living room furniture, and office furniture. We went to Felix and he immediately got us hooked up. Purchased the living room and bedroom furniture and then returned a week later for the office furniture. Again we walked in and this time we sought out Felix. He did such an amazing job. We dropped well over $10,000 there and couldn’t be happier with what we have.

They helped me find the perfect size and style kitchen table & chair set. I was thoroughly disappointed in how the saleswoman treated me, the forced credit card approval, lack of consumer information before pushing toward purchase, and being chased out the door when I said I would consider other options.

I bought a decor cabinet some time ago from this store that is currently infested with wood-boring beetles. Turns out this has been a problem from the beginning but it took several trips by the exterminator to finally figure out the problem stemmed from this cabinet alone. I spent a total of $595.35 for this product and there's no hope for resolution. I am very disappointed because I loved this cabinet. I'm never buying from this store or company ever again and I will encourage everyone else I know not to do so either. Absolutely awful.

The sales person was knowledgeable and helped us make good quality selections and gave us strong discounts. The supposed white glove service was nothing like that at all. The bedroom set and bed were in stock and supposed to be delivered all on the same day last Saturday and all we received was a mattress. Apparently one of the nightstands got damaged during pulling from inventory and they decided without asking me to remove that from the delivery. Meanwhile, our entire bedroom was cleared out, expecting our new set, which was promised. No one bothered to call and ask us if we could do without the nightstand and except everything else which we gladly would have. I spent all of this week chasing down the remaining pieces. Now we have to rearrange our schedule and work to accommodate what they have available, not will be agreed to. Even more frustrating was having to ask ourselves person each day what the update was. Very dissatisfied with their level of completion in supporting this as a priority and consideration of our situation.

Only reason i put two stars is because the i purchased a mattress on sunday since i just move to a new home and salesman confirmed delivery would take 2 days and i got a call later saying delivery was gonna be on thursday. My experience started off good but went downhill. The sales person made it look like he was giving me a good deal with discounts but just tricked me and I fell for it. Then they delivered a dinning set with the table unsturdy and tilting and some of the chairs not properly put together. When I complained about the table the same day it was delivered I was told I had to trouble shoot it myself by fixing some screws underneath. I told them how can I fix something that was not properly put together in the first place. I had to wait almost two weeks for someone to come and take a look at the table, and when I told the technician about the chairs he said he couldn’t do it, I have to file a claim. I didn’t finance this dining set, I paid cash and just to have one issue after another. It’s a very painful experience I was even crying on the phone when I was explaining it to one of the reps. One thing for sure is I will not be going back for anything here.

Theresa, the General Manager, was totally unprofessional. When trying to speak with her about an incorrect furniture order, Theresa, repeatedly cut me off and began yelling at me, “I’m tired…I’m pregnant…I’m losing it!” Theresa yelled this several times…she was out of control. When asked the name of her boss or the regional director, Theresa refused to provide a name or contact number. While in the store. I had to contact the corporate office to rectify my problem. After speaking to corporate, I received a call from the regional director. The regional director was professional and courteous. The regional director apologized for my experience and fixed my issue over the phone while I stood in the showroom lobby. Nonetheless, my experience with Theresa was terrible…however, I wish her well with her pregnancy.

I called to check if the Ashley store in Sugar Land is still open because we had heard from some friends that the store had closed permanently. Also in the past, we had found that Google maps does not get updated regularly so we wanted to confirm before we made a visit to the store. A guy by the name of Akon picked the phone and was one of the rudest persons I have ever talked to especially taking calls for New orders. Instead of answering my questions, he asked me where do I see that the store was closed and why I am asking the same question again and again while I was merely expressing my surprise. Ashley should have some folks who are atleast courteous to take customer phone calls. Maybe he was having a bad day but he was unapologetically rude. If this is the attitude when I haven’t even bought anything, I wonder how they will behave when I have put in an order and paid for it too. Not going to Ashley’s again!!

Worst experience with the delivery. I have moved to a new house recently and bought all the furniture for living area, dining, bedrooms, home office, wine room(almost everything except patio) from Ashley. Firstly they delivered defective items and secondly they refuse to take it back as I accepted the product. I didn’t realize I signed a contract with all the ridiculous terms & conditions when the delivery guys asked me to sign. Customer service at Ashley is the worst of all. They have no ethics and respect for customers. I do not recommend this store especially if you are buying for a dream home. I had to go through so much of hassle yet got defective items! Never stepping inside this store again and I’ll not give their reference to any of my family & friends.

I have been a customer here and have previously purchased furniture without any issues. However, trying to return something is an absolute nightmare. Buyer beware—especially if your salesperson is Kyle. Do not trust the information he provides. We received a defective piece of furniture, and what should have been a straightforward return process turned into a 5-6 month ordeal that required us to move heaven and earth just to get it resolved. Instead of honoring a proper return, the store pushed us into an exchange, even though the item was clearly defective. Ashley Furniture’s return policy is either intentionally difficult or completely nonexistent. To make matters worse, Kyle was misleading about the process and then completely ignored my messages after the sale. The lack of accountability and customer service was shocking. Sugar Land is a great community, and local businesses should uphold honest practices. Unfortunately, this store does the opposite. If you’re considering shopping here, be extremely cautious—especially when it comes to their return policies and customer service.

I saw your ad on TV. Googled mattresses and after reading reviews saw one I wanted. Went to your store told the Salesman and he showed me one like the one I saw. The one I wanted needed to be ordered. No trying to upscale or add on. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I found out his name when I read my receipt. My mattress will be delivered in a couple of weeks.

My mom and me went to look at a recliner for her. She wanted a chair that would be a good fit. She is a little height impaired and suffers from arthritis. We walked into Ashley store and were immediately welcomed by Kevin Bui. He was upbeat, friendly and courteous to us. We tried every chair in the store and she finally decided on one that would benefit her. Kevin saw how she struggled to get out of every chair and with his help he asked her if she would try a zero gravity type. She if course was a bit reluctant at first but between him and me we finally convinced her to at least try it out. Well, she really loved it. It would help her ease out of the chair and it was compatible with her. The remote featured an adjustable head and leg support that was easy to use. She decided to purchase this chair. YAY!! We finally 🙌 found something she liked immediately. I was tired of going from one store to the other. While walking towards the sales office area I caught a glimpse of several Sofa/Loveseat combos. I decided to check them out and try them all. I found one that Kevin explained was a very firm and well made option. I checked out every option including the Italian leather loveseat. Well, I chose the one that was the best fit for me. I decided to purchase it as well. It's nice to have a salesman like Kevin to help you and understand your needs. We were happy with our decision and purchased both of them on the spot. PS: All of my furnishings were purchased at Ashley's and I am happy with my choice. We even received a sales discount on our items as well. Valentine promotions?? ⚠️PROCEED WITH CAUTION!⚠️ I purchased table and chairs and after the delivery date being pushed back twice, the table finally arrived. After the delivery drivers set it up, I knew it wouldn’t be a good fit once my other furniture pieces arrived. I informed them and told them that I wanted to keep the chairs but not the table. They told me that they couldn’t take any furniture back unless it was approved. Once I inquired about the approval process, they gave me a number to call. I immediately called the number and the recording said they were closed for the day (7:30/7:45pm). I informed them of what the recording said and they insisted that they couldn’t seek approval elsewhere and that they wouldn’t be able to take the table back on the truck. They left by advising me to call the next morning. I couldn’t make them take the table and they left. The next morning after receiving the run around for over an hour, I finally spoke to someone that informed me that if the delivery wasn’t to my liking that I should have returned it with the delivery drivers and that since I didn’t there was nothing that I could do. Infuriated by the answer and discovering that the delivery drivers flat out lied to me and didn’t want to be bothered, I escalated this with store management and the customer care hotline, to no avail. They consistently denied the exchange. Never followed up when they said they would, misleading information, etc. After a week of calling emailing and escalating- NOTHING! So in short ⚠️PROCEED WITH CAUTION, when buying anything from Ashley furniture and make sure you will 200% like it and that it fits your space perfectly because they will lie to you, string you along, and not follow up only for you to find out that they aren’t willing to do anything about it. Once they have your money you are on your own. Going forward I would much rather spend the extra money at Star or Gallery Furniture where you know you are at least valued as a customer and treated as such!

Ashley’s online does not allow you to have a different delivery address than billing. This makes zero sense. How does one make purchases from your business as a multi-home owner or parents trying to help their children? So I called the local store and Teresa was amazing! She was able to find the deal I was looking for and process the order efficiently and accurately with delivery this week! Thank you Teresa!

I strongly advise against purchasing from Ashley Furniture. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After buying a furniture set, I found it elsewhere for $3,000 less and decided to cancel my order. A sales rep from Ashley contacted me, asking me to reconsider, and we renegotiated a new price of $6,100, all-inclusive of taxes, delivery, and warranty, which I accepted. However, when I checked my statement, I saw they had charged me the original, much higher price. I immediately reached out, providing proof of our agreed-upon price with screenshots of my conversation with the sales rep, only to get the runaround for months. Finally, after much back-and-forth, I spoke with someone from accounting and received an email from the store confirming a refund would be issued. Despite this, they refused to honor the new price, and a full refund was not processed. I reported the issue to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but Ashley Furniture refused to participate in arbitration, even with clear evidence. This ordeal has been ongoing for over two years, and I am now considering legal action due to their lack of accountability. This experience has been exhausting and frustrating, and I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase from Ashley Furniture to look elsewhere. This company does not stand by its promises, and the hassle isn’t worth it. Save yourself the stress and choose a more reliable retailer.

My fiancé and I went into Ashley’s to buy all brand new furniture over a month and a half ago as we just purchase a new house. Other than being followed everywhere by one of the associates, everything was fine. We paid for 7 items all upfront including delivery. We have countless confirmations all all furniture will be delivered that day. The day comes, we receive half the items. No communication from anyone, we communicate with and he was rude, told me not to call him, to only text “past 10am to not disrupt him” and they have no idea what happened and when our furniture will be in. Attempting to follow up with said associate, blocking all my calls and texts. Mind you this is all our bedroom furniture, we have no place to sleep. We call the store and it says the expected delivery date is September 10th, 3 weeks from our delivery date. Ashley’s made my exciting new furniture process into a nightmare. Horrible customer service and we have no idea where or when our pre bought furniture is being delivered.

I purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture about a month ago, and I was assured multiple times by the salesman that all of my items would be delivered on the specific date I requested. Since I had to take time off work to be home for the delivery, I made sure to confirm this with the salesman several times. On the day of delivery, I was shocked to find out from the delivery drivers—not the store—that not all of my furniture would be arriving. The drivers read off a list of items they were bringing in, which is how I indirectly learned that several pieces were missing. When I reached out to the salesman, he started responding, but only with vague promises that he would "look into it" without providing any real information. At one point, the automated system gave us a new delivery date, but when I asked him about it, he just said the date was wrong and didn’t clarify whether we would receive the furniture earlier or later. This lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, we’ve just moved into our new house and are currently sleeping on the floor because the bed we ordered still hasn’t been delivered. We relied on Ashley Furniture’s promise to have our furniture delivered on time, and now we’re left in a very uncomfortable situation. Although the furniture we have received so far is of good quality, the poor customer service and delivery experience have overshadowed everything. On top of all this, I paid $400 for their delivery service, which has been nothing but a hassle from start to finish. If you're considering buying furniture from Ashley, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE!!!

Don’t buy from this store and don’t buy insurance for your furniture with them either. I bought furniture from here before that got a stain, I called the warranty company out and they couldn’t get the Stain out so they refunded me for the couch but gave the money to Ashley furniture. I went there multiple times looking for furniture and asked the staff about my balance. They said it was all good and I have nothing to worry about, I finally decided on a couch I wanted and went in for the them to tell me they no longer saw the credit on my account and there was nothing they could do. Apparently the refund had an expiration date on it that neither the warranty company told me about or Ashley furniture. When I expressed how upset I was the manager told me that I should’ve read the fine print on the paper for a couch I bought 2 years ago and that there was nothing they could do. I called the insurance company and they stated that they gave Ashley the money and that it is up to Ashley to give me the refund back or not. Of course Ashley is going to pocket the money and not issue a refund. Never shopping here again. Scam artist, they won’t even try to make anything right and they won’t even admit wrong doing. If I didn’t care about it and I left the money to expire then fine but I kept calling and went the store multiple times To check in on it and make sure things were okay for this to happen.

Beware if you order via Ashley's website. I placed an order online for a desk for my daughter on a Sunday evening. The website gave me an error and said it could not process the order. So, I naively went to a different web browser, tried again, and then got the same message. I decided to wait and go into a physical store rather than try again. Well, about an hour later I got two email confirms that both orders were processed for the same items. I tried futility to cancel the orders online - that does not work. I never got a response, even a week later. So the next day, Monday, I called Ashley. I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to cancel both orders - I was told it was too late because the orders had shipped. The representative told me to simply tell the driver to return the orders when the desks were delivered because my account had been noted. Well, turns out, I never got a tracking number until the next day; clearly the order did not ship when the representative said it did. What is more, the driver dropped the desks in my driveway at 10:19PM on Thursday night! I only found the desks the next morning. Now, I am paying return shipping for both of these items after again spending thirty minutes on the phone.

Very poor service. Order placed, delayed delivery. Managers refuse to return calls. I’ve purchased lots of furniture all over the city and every single one delivered within less than five days—some even the next day. Prices and service are less than par and they do not care to resolve a concern.

Recently visited this store to shop for a bedroom set and not a soul greeted me. There was 1 customer in the entire store with approximately 4 employees (that I could see). At 1st I thought it was because I was a young, black woman with gym clothes (I visited after my session) not sure but I found it to be very disrespectful. I even asked one of the men a question about the furniture and he said there were 100 on the floor and showed me nothing. Coming from NJ to Sugarland I am shocked and appalled. #nevergoingbackagain

From the time I walked in I was immediately helped. I asked for a couch I saw online and sadly wasn't on the show floor BUT they had a similar one I could sit on to try out. It was reasonably priced and the sales associate who helped me did a wonderful job with detailing exactly what I needed. I got an discount on delivery and on the couch as well. I ended up ordering the couch. He offered another great discount. If I found anything with a red sticker (art or rug or merchandise in the store) I would get 90% off. Immediately what caught my eye (or foot rather) was a matching rug! It was meant to be! I got the rug for a great deal to match my new couch! I am beyond excited! We met Travis he showed us through out the store and we found one set of living room furniture that we wanted and we got them on payment plan. Everything went smooth we got the delivery today part of it and the rest will be coming in next week, noeverything looks good everybody did did their job as well as they could.

My experience at Ashley Store in Sugar Land was very positive. From the time I entered the store until I left, everyone was very attentive. Gary did his best to try to accommodate my wants by the descriptions I gave him.- which often changed when I saw something I liked better. My shopping experience ended with a very satisfied customer.

Please be aware of the NO RETURN or EXCHANGES policy from this store, it’s apparently on the fine print, so please be careful before you sign anything. We bought $14k worth of furniture from this store and wanted to exchange $600 worth of items, and they wouldn’t budge. Service lines aren’t helpful either, you get put on a loop between the actual store and the customer service phone line on a loop. We bought other items from multiple other stores (CB, CB2, West Elm) and didn’t encounter a similar issue. Take your business elsewhere.

Terrible experience! Terrible furniture quality. Purchased the sofa set in march and as soon as the product was delivered there was a prominent loud creak in the sofa. The very next day I called my sales agent Felix at the Sugarland store where I let him hear the creaking sound over the phone. The sound was loud enough to be heard over the phone so clearly there was a manufactures defect. I was told to contact the warrant department which I did the same day. Warranty department said they will be sending a repair technician almost a month and half later on April 30th. Forward to today where technician Leonard came to inspect the sofa. Where he said the noise is there so just lifted the couch cushions and deemed that this is not repairable. He then proceeded to tell us that he couldn't do anything to repair this and he can't approve an exchange. I then contacted Akon(manager at Sugarland Ashley) and he said this is a manufactures defect and to contact the warranty department and speak to guest services to request a replacement. Upon speaking to guest services I was told the technicians report was received and accordingly to that there was nothing wrong with sofa and can't be replaced. I then requested Paula to connect me to a supervisor and I was told there was no supervisor available to help me with my request. I asked why there wasn't a supervisor and was told we only have 2 who are addressing other requests. Paula then said she will put in a request to have a supervisor reach out to be in 24 hours. Lastly, Paula said if we keep the sofa she can give me 30% off, but that is unacceptable. I just spent close to $3000 on a brand new couch which is CREAKING. The only reason why I went with Ashley furniture was because my sales agent told me the furniture quality is better than bell furniture. But now I can tell him how wrong he is. Previously I had bell furniture for 6 years and never faced this issue. Not only is the furniture quality poor but so is the customer service department and everyone I have spoken so this far. Terrible service, terrible quality, terrible resolution.

Here is my experience with Ashely . I had a purchase which went okay till the delivery day. Driver called Daniel came around 7;30 pm on April 23. I had told him not take the coffee table as it’s broken , but he mentioned that it’s totally fine as they will exchange it . Up on checking , he deliberately delivered a broken item while he and his colleague were talking and checking outside before they give it to me inside the house . I will share the video and picture later . Then I called customer service , which totally was rude and unprofessional ( Eva and Clair) whom failed to address the issue . False promise from the driver , unprofessional customer ( who hang the phone in customer ) Literally , it’s a day time robbery who all represent Ashely . No one want to take responsibility while pushing the claim one another . Finally the robotic customer service Still have the broken table in my house with no help. In the picture , The driver was checking the exact broken place and yet delivered it with a false information. I will never buy and recommend Ashely . I will shortly put the whole conversation and videos to the social Media as I can’t put it here.

The experience of purchasing a piece of furniture from Ashley was great but there was a small mix up with the delivery date . I got a great deal on the furniture I purchased.

unless you want to be on your back in the middle of the evening during dinner with your hands cramping putting together furniture your paid thousands of dollars for and even included the white glove delivery and install then dont shop here. if you want to pay 200 dollar for 60 dollar ikea chairs that you have to wait a week for then dont shop here. If you dont want pushy sales where you have to negotiate prices and wait for the sales guy to go back and forth and back and forth to fix mistakes then dont go here. If you want to pay a bunch of money for a fake wood ikea table that you even after white glove service, you still have to put together because they only partly do. And dont tell you, and wait for you to find out while eating dinner and almost breaking a table leg then by all means shop here. apparently the table was built for 4 bolds but they will only do three and not even tighten the three. thanks Ashley for ruining my family dinner with me on my back and dealing with arthritis after oayinf 4 thousand dollars. edit - chairs final arrived and the stained one when delivering and took one of my Clorox bleach wipes off my island with out asking and proceed to bleach non white fabric even better you cant get ahold of any live person and when you do you have to go through a text option. ruining thousand dollar furniture they are willing to offer 9 dollars to resolve the issue… wow. don’t plan to use warranties with them. its 100% official do not buy from them. edit - enjoy the saga - get to submit a claim and it was shortly followed with an email stating to respond because they feel it’s resolved. reply as they stated that nothing has been done and get an auto generated response telling me they don’t monitor this email.

The 5 stars is only for our salesman. He was polite and cooperative. We haven't had our furniture delivered yet so to give a more detailed and honest review about the furniture I will have to wait until after it is delivered.

After mentioning to the sales guy 3x within a five minute period of him continuing to come back to us (no sarcasm) that we did not want any help and we would come and get him *if* we had any questions or wanted to buy something, he got even more aggressive and wouldn’t walk away and decided to make it even more uncomfortable acting like we owed him something for being in the store. We ended up leaving the store because the experience was so horrible and felt like he was a vulture unwilling to leave us alone. This is by far the worst furniture shopping experience we have ever had, and left immediately and will not consider buying from this store ever again. Terrible experience!

Over 5 years ago we purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture. On our dinning set we were offered Montage Insurance with a promise of "don't use it ,don't lose it" which meant we would get store credit in the amount that was paid for the ins. We tried to used OUR credit a couple of days ago and Kevin gave us the run around making all types of excuses not to issue it. Went to the katy location and had no issues there.

Terrible company altogether

I wish I read these reviews before we bought furnitures in this store as the returns policy was the worst, in short "noreturns" 🙄 So we moved to our new house in december and bought living room sofas and bedroom set. Our experience in store was ok. Everything went by fast by the time we stepped in the store to checking out. The sales reps gave very good discounts prolly because its almost the end of the month and its holiday. So, the reason i am giving 1 star is first, when our sofas were delivered ( we ordered two), one was ripped off. It's a leather sofa with heated massage and power recliner. They immediately dis assembled it and took it back. And then for the bedroom, they delivered the wrong model of bed (head and footboard) so upon noticing it, immediately notified them so they had to disassemvle again. So this mistakes were marked as returns/exchange ok our side even tho it wasn't our fault. After a week they delivered the other sofa. And then another week after, the head/footboard. Good thing our mattress was correct and the reclining base. So here's the other prob. When we are in store, the sales rep told us that the reclining base will be compatible with the bed frame we wanted so we bought it. The bed has the drawers. So now when the right headfootboard was delivered, there's a huge gap between our mattress with base and the bedframe 😳 and this was not emphasized when we went furniture shopping. Annnnnd there's no returns! We are willing to have store credit just so we can return the reclining base and also to keep the bed frame (head foot board) but to no avail. They just said they couldnt do anything about it cuz all sales final. We spent more than $10k for all those 😑 what a way to start the year with them..

The experience that I had at this location while working with Zachariah was "above excellence." I can also add that if you go to this store, you must ask for Zachariah so that you can have the type of experience that I had. He is a tremendous asset to Ashley Furniture!

Mohammad and atif were great. They help us finalize our bedroom set. And also stayed almost an hour after closing time to finish paperwork. I would recommend this store for all furniture needs.

Friendly sales staff, very helpful. The actual buying process was fast and easy. We were able to find exactly what we wanted. Delivery was fast, delivery guys were courteous, friendly and fast with the setup.

I have never had bad customer services as this store, they delivered the dining table for us and then I submitted a claim requesting a service because its not stable!!!! Called many times, they scheduled a service, I called the same day of the service because they didn't show up, I have been told that the appointment wasn't completed!!!! They scheduled me for another day and still they didn't show up or even call to let us know whats going on, I called and someone told me you have to pay for the service because its a special sell and there will be no warranty ( shouldn't be 1 year for s manufacturer problem?) no one told me about that when I bought it, please be aware and check your furniture same time of delivery.

I ordered a bedroom set and mattress online. It later occurred to me I probably need a foundation/ box spring. I called Sugarland Ashley’s and spoke with Zachariah. Zachariah was professional, kind and hugely helpful. My entire buying experience was easy and pleasant and also important, the cost of my bedroom set and foundation is very reasonable.

I purchased an L shape sofa , paid it with credit card at the store. Manager has told me 2/3 of the items will be delivered at 6th of December and they will contact with me before the delivery. Store manager told me Last piece will be delivered on 12 of December. On December 5th I called the customer service to ask about my delivery and they told me they don’t have my items available and they will be delivered on 12th of December . So basically manager lied to me about delivery date even when I told him I have no couch to sit on. Very bad and dishonest trading. I cancelled my order and waiting on my refund.

Please read all the reviews of people dealing with returns and mistakes. My experience has been the same. We came in to buy a kitchen table for the holidays and we wanted something in stock. We quickly found what we wanted and scheduled pickup the following Sunday. The wrong table was ordered by our rep, and after getting home with it to assemble, we discovered the mistake. We quickly revised the table and reached out for an exchange. After several call over the past week, we still haven’t received approval for the new table. There’s no way to reach the store manager by phone, and it looks like we will have to go back to the store to figure out the return process. It seems once they have you’re money, all the courtesy goes out the window.

We had a wonderful experience shopping for living room furniture. Zachariah was fun, friendly, and listened attentively to us. We are happy with our beautiful furniture, and will be back.

I never received the information for them to come out and Fix my Recliner after owning it 2 1/2 years They were suppose to send it to my Email and I never received it plus I should have been informed that it was a recall on those Recliners I found out by default of trying to get them to fix the Recliner that don't Recline Not happy I just may purchase Some Recliner elsewhere.

We love the couch we bought a year ago! We also paid $500 for a 5 year warranty. They refuse to come service the couch and when we go in for a refund the manager Sayed explains they are unable to refund the money for five years. Love your product but your customer service will prevent future Buisness from us!

While I like the bed we purchased, the WARRANTY department SUCKS. We have had to reschedule 3 times because of their delays in repairing. Know that what you get will not come with a decent warranty. Bad service so buyer beware.

Great looking store. Not many options compared to the online. it is a decent place to see the quality and materials if you are interested in buying from Ashley furniture.

We had a good experience at the store with the sales associate, and received a good price, we did ask the associate how easy it is to move the furniture, his response was, incredibly easy and mentioned how they can be moved without much effort. However, that's where things changed drastically, the delivery happened yesterday and low and behold as the delivery company were bringing in the furniture they scratched our brand new floors, we asked the team how did they happen? They mentioned that there is no protection for the furniture on the base of the furniture, and not even any felt pads or any level of protection is included, with the only exception of dining chairs, we obviously have filed a claim with the company and are awaiting to see what happens next. Update: Ashley has advised us the responsibility is on the delivery company, they have 2-3 days to respond back to the issue, further to come.

The worst experience I have ever had buying furniture for my house. At Ahely Funiture I bought a bedroom set, it arrived damaged, I called customer service, terrible attitude, I called Mohammed and he told me that I didn't have to accept it (know was my problem), now let's see how long it will take to repair it, I have been waiting for more than 2 months almost 3. Save your money, buy somewhere else!

Stay away from this store! My original review when I purchased my furniture was with my experience with customer service from the salesman which was fine. The terror began when my furniture was delivered. The color was way off! I try addressing the issue with customer service but it’s pretty useless since they give you the run around about how they can’t do anything about it. How am I suppose to know what color is suppose to be delivered if there is nothing on the receipt where it states what color you are delivering. Also the delivery people refused to take the couch back. I went to the store to try to solve my issue but the manager is just plain rude, he stated that the store has nothing to with it the order once it’s delivered. That’s not the only problem I have with this store. I also purchased a mattress on the same order only for it to get pushed back on the delivery dates. I decided to cancel the order but he refused to do so and started to talk down on me about how I was financing my furniture. What does that have to do anything with my order!!!!! I told him again to cancel my order and he then said it’s canceled. Weeks have passed by and there’s no cancellation. It has been a nightmare cancelling this order and getting my money back. Yes I partially paid cash for this order as well. Please save yourself from a stressful situation and go somewhere else!

Great In-store Customer Service

I will never purchase from here again. They up sale you on a gbs protection plan you would never be able to use!!! When I say never I wish I would have looked at the reviews. Spent 4k on a sectional that I can never get cleaned because of the hidden details and miscommunication on how to file a claim for stains. I would have been a returning customer but never after this terrible experience .

Ashley has always been our go to store for furniture. They carry great inventory and their catalog is inclusive of all styles. Our most recent visit was to inquire about mattresses, TempraPedic in particular. After having got several quotes from Mattress Firm and Sleep number we decided to go to Ashley. We settled on making the purchase from Ashley for 2 reasons: 1. Product Demo: Kyle(Sales Consultant) gave us a detailed demo of the different types and helped us make the right decision and even discouraged us from spending extra money on fancy features. 2. Product Warranty and Customer Service: mattress is backed by 20 yrs warranty and the Ashley provides additional warranty for the Smart base for $349. Kyle even helped us save close to $3000 dollars. The sales man was excellent. The purchasing process was disheartening! We ended up walking away with only considerations to return and only due to the salesman valued attempts to correct the situation. Come on the card has the Ashely logo!

We purchased a sofa sectional at Ashley Furniture in Sugarland, TX and it's sagging and worn after only a few days. I went back to the store to resolved the issue and spoke to Calvin the manager and was told he couldn't do anything about it and to contact GRT. I spoke with GRT several times and GRT told us they would call back but never did call back or email to follow up. Service techs came out twice without a resolution. The wrong size cushions were brought to my house as if that would be of satisfactory. Customer service has been giving us the runaround for approximately 3 1/2 months. We called customer service today and was put on hold and no one ever came back 4 times. Finally after the 5th call I got a decent representation that tried to help but esentionally I was given the runaround again to contact the technicians that's already has been to my home twice. I was told I needed to talk a technician before it could be escalated. GRT has the worst customer service and is very unprofessional. I'm so disappointed with the quality of the furniture and the company. We've only sat on one side of the couch to show you on the pics below that the quality is below standard and it's not what was presented to me at the store when I purchase the sofa sectional. A sofa shouldn't be wrinkled and sagging after only 3 days. I want my sofa sectional replaced or a full refund.

Ashley has a terrible return policy. Paid for expensive foundations for bed and was told I couldn’t return. Not even if I paid any return delivery fee and stocking fee.. now we are stuck with two king boxes we don’t need. Way to take you customers money over taking care of them.

Absolute worst buying experience ever. Delivered the wrong bed 2X and then only 1 piece of our 2 piece couch order. There is no way to check status on your order as no one answers the phone, or it answers and then hangs up on you. Their system is down and you can't get an answer about anything. I would go somewhere else.

Zachariah was my sales person and he was superb! He kept me informed on my furniture and made sure prices were correct! Even when I changed my mind at the final moments he made things happen!!

Ordered a bed frame that was on back order. Was told by the sales rep it would be delivered by May 24th, then it got oushed back to June 17th. So I am now sleeping on the ground. They also told me the delivery fee would be $420, but it ended up being close to $600 because they had to make two trips.

Terrible place to shop for furniture. Staff were more interested in chit chatting with each other. Furniture was completely disorganized is presentation. We lost Finger's furniture for this place. It's a shame.

Zachariah was wonderful in helping me select everything I needed. I walked into that store very lost as to where to start from with the furniture I needed. I walked extremely happy and feeling accomplished. Pocket was not too hard hit given the volume of purchase and that was the icing on the cake. The store manager was very considerate in giving discounts and concessions.

Wow! Akeem was so nice, so professional. He was very considerate of what we wanted. He was not at all pushy, just helpful and friendly. The furniture was of very sturdy quality and the selection was great.

Mohammed was great, friendly and informative. He was able to order our couch quickly and provided an estimated delivery day before leaving. Since our couch was not displayed in the store, and in order to help us decide on our purchase, he located a sofa made of the same material and firmness that was on display and told us to inspect it to make sure we liked it. We enjoyed speaking with Mohammed and left the store feeling that we made a good, affordable decision.

Sales person, Josuwa, was very professional, articulate and explained all aspects of the purchase. There were no surprises in my purchase transaction. Wow! Customers don't see that much anymore in today's business model. Good hire Ashley. Keep up the right business model.

Wasn’t the best experience. I had to call 4 different times just to get someone to help me. It’s almost as if they thought answering the phone was a waste of time. I was even placed on hold for what felt like 10 minutes and then hung up on. Finally on the 4th call the manager answered and assisted me with my purchase.

We purchased a bunk bed for the kids and the style was completely different from the one we saw at the store , plus the wood came with little details and came with missing screws , also the customer service m, everything was going excellent but as soon as we denied to purchase the protection plan everything just chance their at titeas horrible

We went to one of well know furniture store of another brand but when we compared the prices your price were higher & their delivery charges are appropriately 100$ whereas yours is more in this matter. Kindly work on prices so it will be better for customers like me who can make our next purchase from your store.

One of the worst experiences that I ever had: - Went two times to pick the order according to the appointments I got but not ready. - Hard to get actual confirmation on delivery - Costumer service has no services for costumers and mostly get complicated and negative responses - Finally and more importantly you can not return or change any thing and you just stuck with what you get. I personally prefer to pay even 30% more rather than get any deal from such company.

This has been one of the worst experience that I have had buying furniture, the delivery forgot an item and when I called to ask about it they made me feel like it was my fault. It’s been 2 weeks since the delivery and they still can’t tell me if my missing item has been shipped. I asked to speak to a manager on the day of delivery and was told that I would receive a call back from them but never did. I’m very disappointed and can’t believe that a business like this would treat their customers this way

To be honest if i could give this store a 0 star i would i sent 5800 on a sectional in 2020 and i paid for the warrenty and my leather lost it collor and they base broke and they dont want to do nothing i been clalling and the managers cant do nothing to or they do t even follow thur on want need to be done they need better customer service

Horrible, horrible experience! I ordered a dining set, sofa and bedroom set and I was assured it would be delivered in November 2022 because everything was “in stock”. Fast forward months later my delivery dates have all been pushed back 5 times and now it is indefinite! It’s absolutely ridiculous to have spent thousands of dollars based on empty assurances (lies). Today (December 21st) they tried to deliver part of the order and by that I mean 4 out of 6 dining chairs with no table! It’s laughable! Now I’m a few days away from Christmas with family flying in and nowhere to have a sit down Christmas dinner! The customer service reps can’t tell me when to expect the furniture nor can the delivery dispatch staff and they can’t expedite delivery, the store sales reps won’t pick up the phone so I’m out of luck! Don’t be like me and be fooled by the big store name, flashy ads and empty sales promises/lies, especially if you expect customer service, you’ll regret it!
