From the time I walked in I was immediately helped. I asked for a couch I saw online and sadly wasn't on the show floor BUT they had a similar one I could sit on to try out. It was reasonably priced and the sales associate who helped me did a wonderful job with detailing exactly what I needed. I got an discount on delivery and on the couch as well. I ended up ordering the couch. He offered another great discount. If I found anything with a red sticker (art or rug or merchandise in the store) I would get 90% off. Immediately what caught my eye (or foot rather) was a matching rug! It was meant to be! I got the rug for a great deal to match my new couch! I am beyond excited! Thank you Ashley furniture for a GREAT shopping experience and I will update when I get the sales associates name! Please keep this person on your floor!! I had a fantastic time

We met Travis he showed us through out the store and we found one set of living room furniture that we wanted and we got them on payment plan. Everything went smooth we got the delivery today part of it and the rest will be coming in next week, noeverything looks good everybody did did their job as well as they could.

My experience at Ashley Store in Sugar Land was very positive. From the time I entered the store until I left, everyone was very attentive. Gary did his best to try to accommodate my wants by the descriptions I gave him.- which often changed when I saw something I liked better. My shopping experience ended with a very satisfied customer.

Please be aware of the NO RETURN or EXCHANGES policy from this store, it’s apparently on the fine print, so please be careful before you sign anything. We bought $14k worth of furniture from this store and wanted to exchange $600 worth of items, and they wouldn’t budge. Service lines aren’t helpful either, you get put on a loop between the actual store and the customer service phone line on a loop. We bought other items from multiple other stores (CB, CB2, West Elm) and didn’t encounter a similar issue. Take your business elsewhere.

Terrible experience! Terrible furniture quality. Purchased the sofa set in march and as soon as the product was delivered there was a prominent loud creak in the sofa. The very next day I called my sales agent Felix at the Sugarland store where I let him hear the creaking sound over the phone. The sound was loud enough to be heard over the phone so clearly there was a manufactures defect. I was told to contact the warrant department which I did the same day. Warranty department said they will be sending a repair technician almost a month and half later on April 30th. Forward to today where technician Leonard came to inspect the sofa. Where he said the noise is there so just lifted the couch cushions and deemed that this is not repairable. He then proceeded to tell us that he couldn't do anything to repair this and he can't approve an exchange. I then contacted Akon(manager at Sugarland Ashley) and he said this is a manufactures defect and to contact the warranty department and speak to guest services to request a replacement. Upon speaking to guest services I was told the technicians report was received and accordingly to that there was nothing wrong with sofa and can't be replaced. I then requested Paula to connect me to a supervisor and I was told there was no supervisor available to help me with my request. I asked why there wasn't a supervisor and was told we only have 2 who are addressing other requests. Paula then said she will put in a request to have a supervisor reach out to be in 24 hours. Lastly, Paula said if we keep the sofa she can give me 30% off, but that is unacceptable. I just spent close to $3000 on a brand new couch which is CREAKING. The only reason why I went with Ashley furniture was because my sales agent told me the furniture quality is better than bell furniture. But now I can tell him how wrong he is. Previously I had bell furniture for 6 years and never faced this issue. Not only is the furniture quality poor but so is the customer service department and everyone I have spoken so this far. Terrible service, terrible quality, terrible resolution.

Here is my experience with Ashely . I had a purchase which went okay till the delivery day. Driver called Daniel came around 7;30 pm on April 23. I had told him not take the coffee table as it’s broken , but he mentioned that it’s totally fine as they will exchange it . Up on checking , he deliberately delivered a broken item while he and his colleague were talking and checking outside before they give it to me inside the house . I will share the video and picture later . Then I called customer service , which totally was rude and unprofessional ( Eva and Clair) whom failed to address the issue . False promise from the driver , unprofessional customer ( who hang the phone in customer ) Literally , it’s a day time robbery who all represent Ashely . No one want to take responsibility while pushing the claim one another . Finally the robotic customer service Still have the broken table in my house with no help. In the picture , The driver was checking the exact broken place and yet delivered it with a false information. I will never buy and recommend Ashely . I will shortly put the whole conversation and videos to the social Media as I can’t put it here.

The experience of purchasing a piece of furniture from Ashley was great but there was a small mix up with the delivery date . I got a great deal on the furniture I purchased.

unless you want to be on your back in the middle of the evening during dinner with your hands cramping putting together furniture your paid thousands of dollars for and even included the white glove delivery and install then dont shop here. if you want to pay 200 dollar for 60 dollar ikea chairs that you have to wait a week for then dont shop here. If you dont want pushy sales where you have to negotiate prices and wait for the sales guy to go back and forth and back and forth to fix mistakes then dont go here. If you want to pay a bunch of money for a fake wood ikea table that you even after white glove service, you still have to put together because they only partly do. And dont tell you, and wait for you to find out while eating dinner and almost breaking a table leg then by all means shop here. apparently the table was built for 4 bolds but they will only do three and not even tighten the three. thanks Ashley for ruining my family dinner with me on my back and dealing with arthritis after oayinf 4 thousand dollars. edit - chairs final arrived and the stained one when delivering and took one of my Clorox bleach wipes off my island with out asking and proceed to bleach non white fabric even better you cant get ahold of any live person and when you do you have to go through a text option. ruining thousand dollar furniture they are willing to offer 9 dollars to resolve the issue… wow. don’t plan to use warranties with them. its 100% official do not buy from them. edit - enjoy the saga - get to submit a claim and it was shortly followed with an email stating to respond because they feel it’s resolved. reply as they stated that nothing has been done and get an auto generated response telling me they don’t monitor this email.

The 5 stars is only for our salesman. He was polite and cooperative. We haven't had our furniture delivered yet so to give a more detailed and honest review about the furniture I will have to wait until after it is delivered.

worst furniture experience!!! we recently purchased a dining set from Ashley with high hopes we would get a good quality table. ABSOLUTELY NOT! the table started scrapping away not even 1 day after use! mind you the previous dining set we owned was purchased almost 10 years ago and was in perfect condition. We just wanted a change and went with something lighter and more modern. we have called and called and apparently even though we bought warranty... it will not be replaced. super disappointed do not buy from here

Staff was friendly, assisted us by showing us around to different products (Sofas and lounge furniture) that we were interested in Cat Soto helped us out directly and was great and made for a smooth purchase.

After mentioning to the sales guy 3x within a five minute period of him continuing to come back to us (no sarcasm) that we did not want any help and we would come and get him *if* we had any questions or wanted to buy something, he got even more aggressive and wouldn’t walk away and decided to make it even more uncomfortable acting like we owed him something for being in the store. We ended up leaving the store because the experience was so horrible and felt like he was a vulture unwilling to leave us alone. This is by far the worst furniture shopping experience we have ever had, and left immediately and will not consider buying from this store ever again. Terrible experience!

When we decided to buy the good looking dinning table it was all good, In a span of 15 days its color starting to comeoff, inspite adding a warranty for 5 years they refused to resolve and said only nuts and bolts are included in warranty, i would never step in this Asley they are in false propaganda.. and you guys think twice before u shop here ..

Over 5 years ago we purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture. On our dinning set we were offered Montage Insurance with a promise of "don't use it ,don't lose it" which meant we would get store credit in the amount that was paid for the ins. We tried to used OUR credit a couple of days ago and Kevin gave us the run around making all types of excuses not to issue it. Went to the katy location and had no issues there.

Terrible company altogether

I wish I read these reviews before we bought furnitures in this store as the returns policy was the worst, in short "noreturns" 🙄 So we moved to our new house in december and bought living room sofas and bedroom set. Our experience in store was ok. Everything went by fast by the time we stepped in the store to checking out. The sales reps gave very good discounts prolly because its almost the end of the month and its holiday. So, the reason i am giving 1 star is first, when our sofas were delivered ( we ordered two), one was ripped off. It's a leather sofa with heated massage and power recliner. They immediately dis assembled it and took it back. And then for the bedroom, they delivered the wrong model of bed (head and footboard) so upon noticing it, immediately notified them so they had to disassemvle again. So this mistakes were marked as returns/exchange ok our side even tho it wasn't our fault. After a week they delivered the other sofa. And then another week after, the head/footboard. Good thing our mattress was correct and the reclining base. So here's the other prob. When we are in store, the sales rep told us that the reclining base will be compatible with the bed frame we wanted so we bought it. The bed has the drawers. So now when the right headfootboard was delivered, there's a huge gap between our mattress with base and the bedframe 😳 and this was not emphasized when we went furniture shopping. Annnnnd there's no returns! We are willing to have store credit just so we can return the reclining base and also to keep the bed frame (head foot board) but to no avail. They just said they couldnt do anything about it cuz all sales final. We spent more than $10k for all those 😑 what a way to start the year with them..

The experience that I had at this location while working with Zachariah was "above excellence." I can also add that if you go to this store, you must ask for Zachariah so that you can have the type of experience that I had. He is a tremendous asset to Ashley Furniture!

Mohammad and atif were great. They help us finalize our bedroom set. And also stayed almost an hour after closing time to finish paperwork. I would recommend this store for all furniture needs.

I would highly recommend Ashley, Sugarland location. It has ample of variety to choose from, high quality and elegant royal designs for furnitures. Friendly sales staff, very helpful. The actual buying process was fast and easy. We were able to find exactly what we wanted. Delivery was fast, delivery guys were courteous, friendly and fast with the setup.

I have never had bad customer services as this store, they delivered the dining table for us and then I submitted a claim requesting a service because its not stable!!!! Called many times, they scheduled a service, I called the same day of the service because they didn't show up, I have been told that the appointment wasn't completed!!!! They scheduled me for another day and still they didn't show up or even call to let us know whats going on, I called and someone told me you have to pay for the service because its a special sell and there will be no warranty ( shouldn't be 1 year for s manufacturer problem?) no one told me about that when I bought it, please be aware and check your furniture same time of delivery.

Item was delivered with defect. No follow up on how to resolve it. Called the store and they were very disrespectful. Glad I got only one item from there and not more. Will unfortunately have to go to the store and issue a return if I can.

I ordered a bedroom set and mattress online. It later occurred to me I probably need a foundation/ box spring. I called Sugarland Ashley’s and spoke with Zachariah. Zachariah was professional, kind and hugely helpful. My entire buying experience was easy and pleasant and also important, the cost of my bedroom set and foundation is very reasonable.

I purchased an L shape sofa , paid it with credit card at the store. Manager has told me 2/3 of the items will be delivered at 6th of December and they will contact with me before the delivery. Store manager told me Last piece will be delivered on 12 of December. On December 5th I called the customer service to ask about my delivery and they told me they don’t have my items available and they will be delivered on 12th of December . So basically manager lied to me about delivery date even when I told him I have no couch to sit on. Very bad and dishonest trading. I cancelled my order and waiting on my refund.

Please read all the reviews of people dealing with returns and mistakes. My experience has been the same. We came in to buy a kitchen table for the holidays and we wanted something in stock. We quickly found what we wanted and scheduled pickup the following Sunday. The wrong table was ordered by our rep, and after getting home with it to assemble, we discovered the mistake. We quickly revised the table and reached out for an exchange. After several call over the past week, we still haven’t received approval for the new table. There’s no way to reach the store manager by phone, and it looks like we will have to go back to the store to figure out the return process. It seems once they have you’re money, all the courtesy goes out the window.

We had a wonderful experience shopping for living room furniture. Zachariah was fun, friendly, and listened attentively to us. We are happy with our beautiful furniture, and will be back.

I never received the information for them to come out and Fix my Recliner after owning it 2 1/2 years They were suppose to send it to my Email and I never received it plus I should have been informed that it was a recall on those Recliners I found out by default of trying to get them to fix the Recliner that don't Recline Not happy I just may purchase Some Recliner elsewhere.

We love the couch we bought a year ago! We also paid $500 for a 5 year warranty. They refuse to come service the couch and when we go in for a refund the manager Sayed explains they are unable to refund the money for five years. Love your product but your customer service will prevent future Buisness from us!

While I like the bed we purchased, the WARRANTY department SUCKS. We have had to reschedule 3 times because of their delays in repairing. Know that what you get will not come with a decent warranty. Bad service so buyer beware.

Great looking store. Not many options compared to the online. it is a decent place to see the quality and materials if you are interested in buying from Ashley furniture.

We had a good experience at the store with the sales associate, and received a good price, we did ask the associate how easy it is to move the furniture, his response was, incredibly easy and mentioned how they can be moved without much effort. However, that's where things changed drastically, the delivery happened yesterday and low and behold as the delivery company were bringing in the furniture they scratched our brand new floors, we asked the team how did they happen? They mentioned that there is no protection for the furniture on the base of the furniture, and not even any felt pads or any level of protection is included, with the only exception of dining chairs, we obviously have filed a claim with the company and are awaiting to see what happens next. Update: Ashley has advised us the responsibility is on the delivery company, they have 2-3 days to respond back to the issue, further to come.

The worst experience I have ever had buying furniture for my house. At Ahely Funiture I bought a bedroom set, it arrived damaged, I called customer service, terrible attitude, I called Mohammed and he told me that I didn't have to accept it (know was my problem), now let's see how long it will take to repair it, I have been waiting for more than 2 months almost 3. Save your money, buy somewhere else!

Stay away from this store! My original review when I purchased my furniture was with my experience with customer service from the salesman which was fine. The terror began when my furniture was delivered. The color was way off! I try addressing the issue with customer service but it’s pretty useless since they give you the run around about how they can’t do anything about it. How am I suppose to know what color is suppose to be delivered if there is nothing on the receipt where it states what color you are delivering. Also the delivery people refused to take the couch back. I went to the store to try to solve my issue but the manager is just plain rude, he stated that the store has nothing to with it the order once it’s delivered. That’s not the only problem I have with this store. I also purchased a mattress on the same order only for it to get pushed back on the delivery dates. I decided to cancel the order but he refused to do so and started to talk down on me about how I was financing my furniture. What does that have to do anything with my order!!!!! I told him again to cancel my order and he then said it’s canceled. Weeks have passed by and there’s no cancellation. It has been a nightmare cancelling this order and getting my money back. Yes I partially paid cash for this order as well. Please save yourself from a stressful situation and go somewhere else!

Great In-store Customer Service

I will never purchase from here again. They up sale you on a gbs protection plan you would never be able to use!!! When I say never I wish I would have looked at the reviews. Spent 4k on a sectional that I can never get cleaned because of the hidden details and miscommunication on how to file a claim for stains. I would have been a returning customer but never after this terrible experience .

Ashley has always been our go to store for furniture. They carry great inventory and their catalog is inclusive of all styles. Our most recent visit was to inquire about mattresses, TempraPedic in particular. After having got several quotes from Mattress Firm and Sleep number we decided to go to Ashley. We settled on making the purchase from Ashley for 2 reasons: 1. Product Demo: Kyle(Sales Consultant) gave us a detailed demo of the different types and helped us make the right decision and even discouraged us from spending extra money on fancy features. 2. Product Warranty and Customer Service: mattress is backed by 20 yrs warranty and the Ashley provides additional warranty for the Smart base for $349. Kyle even helped us save close to $3000 dollars. The sales man was excellent. The purchasing process was disheartening! We ended up walking away with only considerations to return and only due to the salesman valued attempts to correct the situation. Come on the card has the Ashely logo!

We purchased a sofa sectional at Ashley Furniture in Sugarland, TX and it's sagging and worn after only a few days. I went back to the store to resolved the issue and spoke to Calvin the manager and was told he couldn't do anything about it and to contact GRT. I spoke with GRT several times and GRT told us they would call back but never did call back or email to follow up. Service techs came out twice without a resolution. The wrong size cushions were brought to my house as if that would be of satisfactory. Customer service has been giving us the runaround for approximately 3 1/2 months. We called customer service today and was put on hold and no one ever came back 4 times. Finally after the 5th call I got a decent representation that tried to help but esentionally I was given the runaround again to contact the technicians that's already has been to my home twice. I was told I needed to talk a technician before it could be escalated. GRT has the worst customer service and is very unprofessional. I'm so disappointed with the quality of the furniture and the company. We've only sat on one side of the couch to show you on the pics below that the quality is below standard and it's not what was presented to me at the store when I purchase the sofa sectional. A sofa shouldn't be wrinkled and sagging after only 3 days. I want my sofa sectional replaced or a full refund.

Ashley has a terrible return policy. Paid for expensive foundations for bed and was told I couldn’t return. Not even if I paid any return delivery fee and stocking fee.. now we are stuck with two king boxes we don’t need. Way to take you customers money over taking care of them.

Absolute worst buying experience ever. Delivered the wrong bed 2X and then only 1 piece of our 2 piece couch order. There is no way to check status on your order as no one answers the phone, or it answers and then hangs up on you. Their system is down and you can't get an answer about anything. I would go somewhere else.

Ordered a bed frame that was on back order. Was told by the sales rep it would be delivered by May 24th, then it got oushed back to June 17th. So I am now sleeping on the ground. They also told me the delivery fee would be $420, but it ended up being close to $600 because they had to make two trips.

I walked extremely happy and feeling accomplished. Pocket was not too hard hit given the volume of purchase and that was the icing on the cake. Wow! Akeem was so nice, so professional. He was very considerate of what we wanted. He was not at all pushy, just helpful and friendly. The furniture was of very sturdy quality and the selection was great.

Mohammed was great, friendly and informative. He was able to order our couch quickly and provided an estimated delivery day before leaving. Since our couch was not displayed in the store, and in order to help us decide on our purchase, he located a sofa made of the same material and firmness that was on display and told us to inspect it to make sure we liked it. We enjoyed speaking with Mohammed and left the store feeling that we made a good, affordable decision.

Wasn’t the best experience. I had to call 4 different times just to get someone to help me. It’s almost as if they thought answering the phone was a waste of time. I was even placed on hold for what felt like 10 minutes and then hung up on. Finally on the 4th call the manager answered and assisted me with my purchase.

We purchased a bunk bed for the kids and the style was completely different from the one we saw at the store , plus the wood came with little details and came with missing screws , also the customer service m, everything was going excellent but as soon as we denied to purchase the protection plan everything just chance their at titeas horrible

We went to one of well know furniture store of another brand but when we compared the prices your price were higher & their delivery charges are appropriately 100$ whereas yours is more in this matter. Kindly work on prices so it will be better for customers like me who can make our next purchase from your store.

One of the worst experiences that I ever had: - Went two times to pick the order according to the appointments I got but not ready. - Hard to get actual confirmation on delivery - Costumer service has no services for costumers and mostly get complicated and negative responses - Finally and more importantly you can not return or change any thing and you just stuck with what you get. I personally prefer to pay even 30% more rather than get any deal from such company.

This has been one of the worst experience that I have had buying furniture, the delivery forgot an item and when I called to ask about it they made me feel like it was my fault. It’s been 2 weeks since the delivery and they still can’t tell me if my missing item has been shipped. I asked to speak to a manager on the day of delivery and was told that I would receive a call back from them but never did. I’m very disappointed and can’t believe that a business like this would treat their customers this way

I was helped and not overly followed. I was very happily surprised by the quality and the choices. So many couches and accent pieces to choose from.

Horrible, horrible experience! I ordered a dining set, sofa and bedroom set and I was assured it would be delivered in November 2022 because everything was “in stock”. Fast forward months later my delivery dates have all been pushed back 5 times and now it is indefinite! It’s absolutely ridiculous to have spent thousands of dollars based on empty assurances (lies). Today (December 21st) they tried to deliver part of the order and by that I mean 4 out of 6 dining chairs with no table! It’s laughable! Now I’m a few days away from Christmas with family flying in and nowhere to have a sit down Christmas dinner! The customer service reps can’t tell me when to expect the furniture nor can the delivery dispatch staff and they can’t expedite delivery, the store sales reps won’t pick up the phone so I’m out of luck! Don’t be like me and be fooled by the big store name, flashy ads and empty sales promises/lies, especially if you expect customer service, you’ll regret it!

Terrible use car salesman store. We bought a couch from them in August for a rental property and we told them delivery had to be flexible pending the opening of the resort. Muhamed said they’d hold it until we ok’d delivery. Turns out they did not. Couch was sold. We could wait for another, but that could be months again. Go to GF. Pay more but get more too.

Loved the customer service that was provided by Kevin. He was super nice and such a delight to work with. He understood my requirements right away and suggested the best bed-frame at a great price!

We ordered a living room set on September first week from Ashley. We were told that we will receive it atleast by November 1st week. It's a brand new house and we planned for a party and invited all our friends from different states. The staff gave us a confirmation on our first visit. We were confused as when I called the customer service they told I will get the furniture only by November end or December. As soon as I heard this, I drove 2hours from my place on a Saturday of October first second week to the store to confirm and the staff " Mr Afsal" gave us fake promises that he will make sure that we get the furniture by November 1st week. We trusted Ashley on this and got back home. Total of a 4 hours drive. After reaching home I again called a Ashely customer care to know what's the update on the website and they repeated the same thing "November end or December ". I tried calling several times and the staff hung up on me. RIDICULOUS. I drove 2 hours again to the store on Sunday and they made us wait for 30 - 40 mints and this man tried giving us fake promise AGAIN. My party was supposed to be on November 7 and all my friends had booked their tickets. I for sure wouldn't want my main living room empty without a couch. I CANCELED MY ORDER THAT DAY AND called Ashley to complain against this ISSUE and they haven't responded back. If ever I had known it would take so long I would have ordered from STAR FURNITURE as they offered to give me within the assured time. This is not acceptable. We trusted Ashley . We no more trust Ashley and won't recommend trusting any staff specially the one I mentioned above. Horrible experience. I wish someone responses to this issue.

The worst experience I ever had. Total mess, once you make a deal and get partial order delivered you are on the hock for cost as they offer no return. Agents and managers lied to me few times as they promised delivery date more than three times. Every week or so the push the delivery data for remaining items further out. Customer service is a disaster, never seen such a horrible service before, spoke to 5 agents over the phone and every single agent told me totally different story than others. Got to file a complaint to BBB.

Nice furniture on time delivery thanks

Placed order on Aug 21, 2022 at Houston Texas 77064 branch. The sales person informed us that the product will be delivered within 2 weeks times and if not deliver then they will give discounts but even after 4 weeks no sign of delivery of the product and no discount received. If one wants to cancel the furniture one can't do it because the price of the product mentioned in the invoice and the customer care are different so one will lose amount of $200-400 + they will not give refund of delivery charge and taxes. If the salesperson told us upfront that delivery will take up to 16 weeks' time, then we would not buy furniture from them. If they have disclosed full fact then one can take informed decision which was not done by them.

The customer Rep was very good, and helpful. Christopher was his name and he really helped me make some decisions. Good job!

Expensive and do not carry style stock for what we were looking for

Buyers Beware!!! Do not purchase their protection plan! It is always something with Ashley Furniture and the way that they handle business. It’s always shady!!! I have a Montage protection plan that I bought for $500 in 2016. It states on the certificate that “if you never have to report a claim with Montage within 5 years from the date of delivery, Ashley Furniture HomeStore will issue a store credit in the amount you paid for the program before taxes.” There isn’t a date of maturity or any time limit indicated anywhere!!!! We went to the Ashley Store to get our $500 so that we could purchase other home items for our new home and we were told that it would not be honored because there’s an expiration date. What expiration date??!!!! I have a “Worry Free - Certificate” with no expiration date on it. Nothing else was given with an expiration date on it!! They offered to submit the request through, but we were told that LOTS OF OTHER CUSTOMERS HAVE COME TO RECEIVE THEIR REFUND ON THIS PROTECTION PLAN, BUT 99.9% ARE DENIED THE REFUNDS!!! THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! I have tried to give Ashley Furniture chance after chance, but I always have to fight to make a business transaction right. I will NEVER shop here again and I will make sure to put this review everywhere that I possibly can because this is totally unethical.

The only reason I'm even giving them a star is cus I don't know if Google publishes reviews with no stars. So I ordered a dining set 10 months ago. I received the table but not the chairs. And this is not the worst part. Now I'm ok with waiting a bit longer. But I receive about 5 automated calls and texts every few days asking me to schedule delivery and then again to confirm the delivery and then again to reconfirm it. Then when I call them back they say that the item is not in the warehouse for delivery. So not only do they not deliver your furniture in less than a year, they also spam you. It's a completely broken supply chain system.

*DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY HOME FURNITURE - You will be DISSAPOINTED with the level of service!!!* My husband and I purchased an item in store on 7/22 because the sales associate, Kyle Cunningham said "the item is in stock" (the reason why we moved forward with the purchase) and was given a schedule delivery date of 7/28. Needless to say, this was far from the truth! We are right at a month and Ashley has no idea when the item will be delivered, although they have given delivery dates three times, and each time they have given bogus delivery dates. The last date provided is for 8/23, and when I called today (8/20) I was told the items is STILL NOT IN STOCK. This is upsetting because we were FLAT OUT LIED TO by the sales associate Kyle that the item is in stock and because WE KEEP GETTING LIED TO about the delivery date. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - Ashley just lost a loyal customer!!!

Been waiting 3 months for our sofa and 2 chairs everytime it’s an excuse and a new date that never comes. At this point we want our money back. We have over $7000 in credit from them and can’t use it because we are afraid to order anything else from them. Don’t waste your time

It’s better to shop from this store if you’re expecting the delivery by 2-3 months. Sales people are just giving promises which are never kept. Once you sign the sale agreement you are trapped with their customer service who just apologies for the delivery delay. Delivery charges are too HIGH. Only positive thing is a sleeping expert in this shop. Never will recommend. Still am waiting for tempur pedic mattress after 4-6weeks

I was promised delivery for my dining table in March 2022 and now it's almost end of August and I haven't received it

Quite simply the worst customer service I’ve experienced. Good luck ever getting through to the store. You can call hundreds of times before getting someone to pick up the phone. Even the customer service extension, you’ll just be on hold forever. Buy online, avoid the store

By far the worst experience I've ever had. We purchased an entire living room set and bedroom set early June. At the time of purchase there were a couple items that weren't in stock but they said they'd have them in 3 weeks. They've now pushed back the delivery date for the bedroom set 6 times! At this point my 90 day trial period of the mattress is about to expire and I haven't even been able to use it yet. Every time they promise up and down that it will be here on the next date they give us. Then when it doesn't show, we call, and they just give us another date. At this point I'm reasonably certain they're just making up these dates and they're not based on any sort of actual logistics. They say that they do their own manufacturing and transportation. How do you not know when things will be made and shipped? Are you not allowed to pick up the phone and call someone in your own company? The living room table set was discontinued 2 months after we purchased it, but before they could even deliver it to us. Ashley says they manufacture their own products, but apparently their manufacturing department just randomly decides what to stop making and doesn't base it on any kind of open sales orders. At this point, 2 1/2 months after purchase, I've only received about 20% of my order and most of that is only because I was ok receiving the floor model.

I ordered my furniture on first week july. and the sales man atif promised us that our furniture will be here in the first week of August we still didn’t get it and now they are telling us we will Receive it in November. I bought furniture for more than 10K usd and I was given delivery date 1st August. They delayed our furniture for months. Do not take Atif as your salesman. He lies and talk stuff to just make you fool.

Customer service is crazy these days. Buying process we seemless. However delivery was a headache. I bought dinning set in November and was given estimated delivery for Jan. Did not receive my furniture until April. I ordered 8 chairs only 6 was delivered. I had no information on the other two. Then finally two weeks ago I got a text stating that I need schedule my delivery. For two weeks I have called Ashley furniture trying to schedule a delivery. Everytime, I speak to someone the story is always different. Finally spoke to someone that scheduled for today after several hang ups and long wait. Very next day I got a text to schedulemy delivery. Called then CSR said they moved my date to the 9th. Then when I requested to speak supervisor she said they don't have a supervisor available. I should take the 9th or she can cancel my order if I would like .when I tried to insist there should be a team leader at least ...she hung up on me. Never again would I order from this furniture place. I know they are a big company and don't care one customer but if they continue at this rate, they would loose a lot of customers.

I have no Idea where to start. I'm sorry I bought furniture from them. The service was horrible. When we went in to buy the furniture it was wonderful. They never explained about the items I purchased not being in stock and would have to wait till whenever to get the furniture. The salesperson that helped me acted like he cared until the furniture got delivered. 2 days after delivery the back of furniture came apart I sent a picture to the rep, he acted concerned few weeks later we went to the store to see if something can be done I was told to call the repair number, texted them which was what I was suggested to do. So we texted, called back and found out nothing was done, and hard to start the whole process again. The rep was rude. Said I had to wait for parts to be delivered, call back and set time up for the person to come out to fix it. as of today nothing, no parts. I texted my rep last week he acted like he cared, which was a ploy to get me to leave him alone. Have not heard from him. All they want is money, customer service sucks. I am so angry going Togo another direction

I will never buy anything from this store again. I am very disappointed with their service, I paid $5000 for my bed frame and electric sofa a month ago, and it arrived today. One part of the electric sofa was not working. The delivery staff was very eager to call the customer service before I try the sofa and let me confirm that my order was completed and that there was no problem with the item. The sofa and bed were not even set up at the time. They left in a hurry, and then I found a part of my loveseat couldn't move, so I started to call customer service, waited a long time before someone answered the phone, I repeated my name, phone number, and order number twice and the problem I'm having. The customer service was probably watching TV (because I heard TV sound) and asked me if something was not delivered. I'm really wondering if Ashley's customer service doesn't listen to what the customer is saying at all. I have clearly said that a part of my sofa not work . Then I tried to ask for the person's name and the person interrupted me very rudely and hung up the phone. I tried to keep calling, but I couldn't get through to customer service again. This is the worst furniture buying experience I've ever had. I will never visit this store again.

We bought a dining room table on May 1st, and paid cash. Here it is July 16th and we still don't have the chairs and now when we call the 800 number they say they can't find the order and to call the store, which is currently closed. This has been the worst furniture buying experience we've ever had. The salesman sure made it seem like everything would certainly be there by X day. It's been extended 3x. If they don't tell us it will be here within 3 days of today I'll be going and demanding a refund. I don't see how they can deny it since they've been unable to fulfill their end of the deal.

We had the worst experience with your company. I will never order from Ashley again. I placed an order in December. Some of the furniture was delivered in April and the remainder in July. The table was delivered with no hardware to set up the table so they place it against the wall with scratch on it. The guys that delivered the furniture said he forgot to check the warehouse for the hardware before leaving. Two of the chairs were also missing that I ordered for the dining table. They finally delivered the chairs last week and left them in the original box on the floor and didn’t set up table. I’ve talked to several people and no one is able to get someone out to set up the table and chairs. This is so exhausting. I paid for delivery and set up. If I could give you zero stars, I would. 😏

3 months later and still lacking the completed delivery. No real timeline provided to reconcile my purchase. Very disappointed with the experience and lack of customer support to actually resolve the issues.

The delivery was great. I received text messages about the time of delivery and it was on point. The men were friendly and set up was superb. This is the best company to buy and get a delivery from. I love them.

In June of 2022 we purchased 11 items of furniture, Tempur-Pedic mattress bed bases. We were told by the sales associate that the furniture would not be ready to deliver until mid-September which was fine as we were closing on the house in September and if the furniture by chance would come in earlier, all we needed to do was tell the caller to hold the furniture and they would. Then when we were ready, call the customer service number to have the held furniture delivered. Unfortunately, what we were told and what happened were two different things leading me to conclude Ashley Furniture is not a reputable company. In early August we got a call that the furniture was available for delivery. I did as the sales associate recommended. I said we were not ready to accept delivery and scheduled the delivery for September 15th as we were closing on the house on September 13th. Turned out, none of this was true and my furniture didn’t get delivered on the 16th. On the 20th the bedroom set was finally delivered. Ashley tried to get me to accept partial delivery of the remaining furniture. Imagine my surprise to find that two of the sectional pieces were discontinued so if I accepted delivery on the two available pieces, I would never have a whole sectional. Lastly, I spent five hours today trying to resolve a billing error of over $1,000.00. It took talking to at least 7 different people at Ashley (at least one lie told), using three different phone numbers, one person at the protection plan company, and another associate at the finance company. Based upon my experience with Ashley’s, I will never do business with that company again and I recommend no one do business with them as it’s not worth the headache. If you work, you don’t have time to deal with this nonsense.

We purchased a dining room table and chairs also a huge TV stand that didn't last long. The first year the table has raised bumps in the center where it slides open to put the extender table and guess what when we called about it there was nothing they could do about it. Then we moved to a new hom3 and moved the TV stand it is soooooo flimsy it's ridiculous! It's plywood. So the legs broke! And we paid a couple thousand for both pieces of furniture I'm soooo beyond upset. I'll post pics when we are done moving but it very upsetting that we spent so much on furniture that didn't last a year

Unfortunately 1 star is the least you can go. I will never order from them again, they have the worst customer service in store, online, and over the phone. I was put on hold numerous times with no call back and no resolution. I will escalate to corporate, this is unacceptable!

I don't think the person who help me was knowledgeable of the merchandise. Or maybe he was just not honest with me. Based on what he used to tell me while walking throughout the store, made me think that I was going to get my furniture same or next day after purchase. Even though I told him from the begging I need my furniture as soon as possible. They are going to take a long time. I understand things happen, but being honest to customers is very important. Now I'm getting my leaving room set after five days of purchase and my dining room set after one month they said because they didn't have them in stock. I'm so disapointed, and the only thing that makes me happy is that I was approved even though I have a credit not too high, with hi interested but I got them. Most dishonest people I have deal with when buying furbiture. So, do yourself a favor and don't go here. They have told me a lie after another from beginning, starting with the sales man. They cancelled my delivery and said it was not scheduled when I received many text messages saying that they would deliver on the date and time said they would. How is that possible?

Worst customer service and delivery schedule

Calvin was both friendly and good to work with. Felt like he was genuinely trying to help us get something we needed rather than just trying to sell something to get inventory out the door. Pricey products overall, but you can get good deals and price match at times.

I placed my order a week ago. Was promised delivery date on 31rst . Don't have my order. Missing a part from sofa. Can't track anyone at store. Been given a run around. After putting so much money, the service and response is horrible. I have been trying to call the store, customer service with no resort. Don't go by their word on shippin in time , and even taking care or your order the right way. They are a fraud company and trying to only lure you in to make a undelivered sale. I have been told reviews make no difference to us as a company. I guess they need better people. Don't order from this store.

Also called to have order canceled they said it would take 14 business days to get my money back and on top of all the lies they charged me a delivery fee. Don’t buy here go somewhere else I’m saving you the headache.

When I entered Ashley Furniture store, there were three associates, two standing with a smile and the other one slump over on a chair who snared me. The female snared me the entire time while I was giving the details of the item I was looking to purchase to the kind associate name Felix. I thanked Felix who assisted me with my purchase. I reported the female to Felix detailing the female associate did not want to assist me and that is why her face expression reflected "no" to help. My experience happened at the Sugar Land Home Store. First impression is always the last impression.

What does it say about a company where the store manager fails to return a phone call? The receptionist Gwen, with whom I've spoken to many times and very nice, took down all my information and the nature of my call and would pass the information to Syed, the manager. She told me to call back when he's there and would make sure he knows why I was calling. I called and surprise, "he's with a customer" and would call back, that was a week and half ago and still waiting for that call. I've been waiting for a replacement dining table and chairs.

I bought my furniture from Ashley in Sugar Land around February of 2021, literally a day before the freeze we had in Texas. It was already going to take 6-8 weeks to have everything delivered, but ended up getting delayed even further. My sales associate promised multiple discounts of which he showed me on his screen and luckily I took the pictures of on my phone. They said once all my pieces come in I will see that balance change and reflect to the discounted price. THIS STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED YET (though I have asked to get this taken care of multiple times)!!!! The worst part is my gliders on the bedroom set are mostly all messed up and I requested a ticket be opened which it was (before my one year warranty). The technician came to my house to inspect that and spoke barely any English, but called his boss and told me I will have to call and get gliders ordered on all my furniture pieces for my bedroom set drawers. So on 05/04/2022 I called and they said my ticket has been closed because the technician said everything seemed fine. They said the ticket cannot be reopened because the technician said it looks fine and they go by his word, when he told me something totally different. I went to the store and tried speaking to the Manager and I have not heard back yet. It has been a freaking year since I purchased this furniture and my problems have only gotten worse with Ashley and their bad customer service, not any better. Now I am stuck with two side tables with broken gliders and god knows if these will even ever get fixed. I am not asking for anything extra. All I wanted was for Ashley to fix what they delivered to me that was messed up and to honor the discounts they said they would WHICH NEITHER HAVE BEEN DONE. Had I known this was the case with Ashley I would have purchased my furniture pieces from another store honestly. Before Ashley bought out Finger Furniture, Finger used to have the best customer service and warranty and never gave issues. Lastly, I even have an extended warranty on my furniture but like always the gliders are not covered under extended warranty. Freaking Ridiculous!!!

Cat was excellent. He listened to my needs, wasn’t pushy at all and pieced together an excellent couch option for me. I went to four places and it was by far the most comfortable couch out of them all. Great selections to choose from and so happy to only have to wait a week when others are taking months to deliver.

My best experience is so far after moving to Houston, is with Ashley Furniture Store Sugarland TX. My old house & this new one. Everything is ordered through them. Most classy, elegant, stylish, modern and unique furniture is always by Ashley Homestore. Now (Teresa Dieter Sugar Land TX) is excellent, amazing, superb & too awesome interior designer & sales person & manager. Real Artist. She helped me so much. Without her, I couldn’t make any decision. I was so nervous. I made many changes because of availability issues. She stayed professional, calm & so helpful. Prompt reply. She truly loves what she does. She has an eye when it comes to decorating the master bedroom or living room or any room. Her suggestions & advise is best. Everyone should take advantage of her experience. And when it comes to customer service she gets more than 10/10. No matter how much I praise her skills, efficiency, knowledge, kindness, professionalism, & customer service it will be less. Gem of a person. Don’t EVER purchase from this company I paid my furniture in full and they promised my delivery date for a bed set to be on march 23 and guess what??? I just got a headboard the rest will be in “sometime mid April” and my dresser was supposed to get replaced today since it arrived damaged so I called and they said it’ll be in “sometime early April” the absolute worst company ever. They don’t even bother to call you to update the delivery time.. would not recommend to anyone although they have beautiful furniture they will promise you one thing and give you a headache!

We placed an order in December and were told delivery around 6-12 weeks. Come February they said our was delayed but hey would separate our order so we'd receive by early March, went back mid March then we were told something went wrong and now would be March 22nd but they'd split our order( because it wasn't done last time they said they did it) and manager would call us on a Tuesday, waited a week after they said they call us so went back in and we're bieng told they will separate our order to get our table... for the 3rd time bieng told this... we are EXTREMELY disappointed and wish we never spent money at this place and once we get our furniture we WILL NOT be recommending anyone to buy from here.

Ordered a sectional with warranty! This company is a scam don’t buy warranty. They literally bounce you around for repairs and no one will take ownership to repair my couches. This sales person named Chris newton sold me the couch lying about replacing it if it stains or has a lot of pet fur. Had a great experience today with Brandon. We went in looking for two recliners and we were not bombarded or pushed or felt stressed during any portion of our transaction. Other than the delivery date being pushed out two months, the experience was painless.

Beware of the sales people and their finance department! I was told by the sales guy that the purchase will be 12 month no interest. When we finalized the transaction, finance guy did not mention that the terms had changed and that it would now be only for 6 months. I was in the process of moving and did not check the bills for a few month, and guess what, I have accrued interest in hundreds of $$, with an interest rate of "Only" 30% with a credit score of 800+. Not a trustworthy Brand.

It took them a month to deliver a floor model NOT A SPECIAL ORDER and when delivered, the future found to be uncomfortable! The store wouldn’t exchange only after 3 weeks although the chair was not being used at all. They could not stand behind their products as an American business should do! My family will NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS FURNITURE STORE!

Worst experience EVER! Wrong item ordered and delivered and second delivery was delivered outside of window and I was told it had to be rescheduled for another week out. Never received a call from the salesman from the first incident and now I’m told that I have to be stuck with a tiny loveseat and nothing else in the house. On top of that I was told my chairs would be delivered on the 19th. That ended up being changed to the 24th. The delivery drivers called 10 -15 minutes before their early arrival and tells me they are 5-10 minutes away. I told them no one would be there until the time that was stated for delivery. They called when they arrived and I again informed them that no one was there so they would have to wait. They said they couldn’t so I said ok. My question is WHY IS A CUSTOMER REQUIRED TO PAY FOR YOUR DRIVERS MISHAPS? What’s the point of a window if they can come at anytime. I’ve already been waiting weeks and then a week has to be added and it’s not your problem anymore. I wish I would’ve read the reviews prior and went somewhere else. Because all I got out of this situation was a tiny loveseat and a BIGGER headache. I was told it would take up to a week to receive a refund.. nope I’m disputing with my bank because I refuse to wait any longer to have furniture in my house. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY!!!

DO NOT ORDER A SINGLE ITEM FROM HERE!! YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE IT!! I cannot stress this out enough. They will LIE and give you a 2 week timeframe just to seal the deal. Almost all of their merchandise is in backorder for a minimum of 6 months. This is beyond ridiculous. Double check all orders as soon as they FINALLY arrive as well. Incomplete orders, scratched merchandise and delayed deliveries... STAY AWAY!

To be honest I was lied to by the sales rep about the insurance that I paid for and also when trying to make a claim they tell me it was not under warranty at all when I also call and leave about 20 or more messages to the general manager they never call back I would take my business to somewhere else

Went out with my mom to look for new furniture yesterday. She instantly recognized one of the salesman Cat Soto, who assisted her prior. Cat Soto took us over to the furniture that my mom selected and we started the application process. The process was simple and fast, he explained everything so simple, and beautifully. Cat Soto came back after doing the numbers and presented an offer that we could not refuse. I mean, I was extremely grateful for the staff. They were so nice, professional, patient, understanding, and provided the best quality customer care. After completing the paperwork, Mr. Soto was honest about the delivery process, and the time frame. We received confirmation of delivery 3 days prior to the estimated time frame. The next day!! My engagement party is on the 26th. Overall the best experience I’ve had at a furniture store. Everyone has different experiences and opinions about Ashley furniture. However, my experience with this staff, was nothing less than amazing. The whole staff was great and helpful.

Kazmi or Qazmi, please have a proper attitude towards your customer especially if they are the elderly and need assistance. Ashley Furniture or the individually owned one like this location...please train your employees etiquettes in speaking with all type of customers.

Ashley Furniture provides poor customer service and lacks honesty when providing promised furniture delivery dates. I was promised to receive my order within 2-16 weeks of purchase by Ashley's sales team, which is also documented on the order form. Since I have placed the order I have never received follow-up calls/texts/emails in regards to the status of my order as I was promised to receive according to the order form. Instead I have had to take the initiative multiple times from my end to contact customer service to determine the status. Each time I have contacted I have been given various new estimated time frames for my furniture. My initial expected delivery was March 2022, then changed to April 2022, then May 2022, then I was told September 2022, and my most recent inquiry I am being told it may be October 2022 or consider reordering. At this point I am running at almost a year wait time for delivery. As a new home buyer I have worked with multiple retail furniture stores to furnish my home. Each furniture store has taken the time to acknowledge us as valued customers and followed-up from their end on the status of our purchases EXCEPT FOR ASHLEY FURNITURE. All other furniture store even with the COVID delays and other hurdles has ensured to deliver the promised furniture EXCEPT FOR ASHLEY FURNITURE. As a loyal customer I have been extremely patient and understanding of the supply chain issues, but all I have received is disappointment and lies from Ashley Furniture. At this point I would recommend any other store other then Ashely Furniture.

0 or negative stars should be an option for Ashley HomeStore. I purchased a breakfast table with 4 chairs and a server on 8/29/21. They delivered the server, 2 chairs and a table leg on 10/2. They said the warehouse forgot to load the tabletop! There was no delivery in November as they promised during the first delivery. There was no delivery in December as they promised on the November phone call. I went to the store at the end of November, they said they will submit a service ticket and you go home and wait. At 12/30/2021, their service people called me from somewhere and said there will be no delivery in January and promised February 2022!!! It is about half year from August 2021 to February 2022, still only the table leg sitting in my house. what a waste of time and money! will keep updating the status!

Our visit to purchase a leather sofa couldn't have gone better! Teresa was the sales rep who took to the specific furniture. Selected product for delivery and all complete within twenty minutes. Incredible service.

I knew that finding what I wanted was going to be difficult. Kyle listened to what I needed and showed me what he had in the store that was close to what I wanted but not quite. After not finding what I was looking for he went to the computer to see what was in stock but not on display and low and behold there it was, exactly what I was looking for. Kyle knew the products in the store and was a life saver by finding what was not.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. I purchased my furniture in May and was told it would be ready in July. I'm still waiting for parts of my order. They tell you it's ready when it's not. I did pick up and supposedly everything was there for me to pick up and of course it's not. I picked up in October, and supposedly the following week the rest of my furniture would be ready. And till this day I'm still waiting. I kept calling and they keep giving me the run around and the availability date gets pushed back more and more. Now it's until February. I've contacted the sales guy Chad and haven't had any response yet. I'm left with no dining table because I have no legs for it and missing a chair. I can't set up my bedroom because I'm missing the footboard. All they care about is selling you furniture so they can get paid even if you don't have your complete order. I'm already getting billed when I'm still missing items. Once you receive one item you can't return and that's how they get you. My worst experience ever! I wanted to purchase more furniture, but with this experience I don't think so. DON'T BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO WAIT OVER A YEAR TO GET YOUR FURNITURE!

Spent the day before my visit to Ashley Home Store in Sugarland Texas online trying to order a Recliner & after all the online chats was told I had to go into the store to present my payment and sign order forms-I was instructed to ask for “Jason” because he was going to be leaving the store at 6:30pm. When I walked into the store a Gentleman named “Kirk” at first tried to offer his services but I wanted to get the commission to “Jason”. I spoke to all the Sales Associates and none of them knew if “Jason” so when I was solicited by one of the Sales Associates to render his help for my purchase I politely declined and asked for “Kirk” a more mature gentleman because he was kind enough to step back while I tried to locate “Jason”…Since I spoke to him first I turned my attention and patience toward him as he handled the sale. He hadn’t been working there long so I let him get his job done. My Recliner was ordered & Shipping/Delivery was set up. Very nice Sales Associate Kirk was. The shipping/Delivery can take up to 26 weeks (ridiculous) for that reason I deducted 1 Star. Depending on the delivery process I might go back into the store for future business with my Sales Associate “Kirk”.

Update: I contacted the number provided and my order is pushed back again for the 3rd time. I attached pictures for proof. I’ll be finding a news channel to get the word out to make sure you guys don’t scam anymore people. Don’t buy from Ashley furniture they delivered one piece a month ago and pushed the right piece back again!! Now they are saying 1/23 estimated time. They want me to pay for the piece they delivered and then they will cancel the rest. Why would I pay for one piece of my sectional??? Ridiculous!! I’ll be filing a complaint with BBB and getting in touch with the news channel. Listen to the reviews people you won’t get your items if it says 7-12 weeks estimate time. It takes longer than 12 weeks. I wish I had listen to the reviews! They will promise you an estimate time frame to receive furniture and you will not get it on time! They just want to make a sell. Then you’ll get one piece so you can no longer cancel your order. I now have to wait until the end of December to receive the right part of my sectional after I was promised I would receive the full sectional no later than the first week of December!! I now have one left piece in my home after waiting months, while I wait no telling how long to receive the rest. Disappointed and will never purchase from you’ll again.

If I could give zero stars I definitely would. I’ve had the worst experience with Ashley’s furniture. They charged us $4000 and we never received the furniture after four months of purchasing it they never delivered anything it was “Back Ordered” when we bought it the sales person Chris said we would get it in two weeks. Then I called and asked why we owed a payment they said because the day the driver tried to deliver he marked it as delivered! (by the way it was a partial delivery they said the rest would be until December so I denied and called to cancel the order) I called and they said for me to give the payment so my credit score wouldn’t be harmed! What! How was that my fault! So I have a $300 payment for seriously nothing! I will never buy from them again.

I wished I would've read the comments before purchasing, which I always do, but this time I didn't. I would've seen how ashley furniture promises a due date, so they can ake the purchase but fail to follow thru. I had a date and when I called was advised my headboard was missing on Bedroom set, my sofa was missingon a living room set. Unacceptable! Just how 🤔. Very disappointing and I will tell everyone I know do not shop here!

Do not even go into the store the restroom is dirty it looked like they hadn't cleaned it in months. They promised me a delivery date when we went in and purchased a sofa cash. They did not deliver and we didn't receive a phone call letting us know that they weren't showing up. So we go into the store and they promised next day delivery week that did not happen. We called and they promised within the next four days it will be delivered. Well we called today and the automated system is telling me no delivery until two weeks. We will had not Received a call. Do not shop at Ashley furniture unless you want to wait a year for furniture.

If you want your furniture delivered a year later this is the place to go to. They only have “estimates” for the dates of the delivery, so when the day comes don’t be surprised if it’s not delivered and the date is pushed back. I ordered a bunk bed and other items at the beginning of august and it has not been completed. I called at the beginning of September for an update and I was told that the rails for bunk bed was on back order and it was showing a date of 01/2022. I said I would likely cancel but need some time to think. I called back in October to cancel and the rails were magically there and I could schedule a delivery. There was a delivery date of 10/7/21 that was going to include the bunk bed but not the mattresses. I canceled the delivery and stated I would rather receive everything at once since it’s for an excited 5 year old. On 10/23 there was a delivery scheduled but I realized that it included everything EXCEPT the rails.Without rails the bed cannot be assembled. Since then I have gotten several different dates as to when these rails will be available. Last week I called for the millionth time, customer service said 11/23. Today I received half of the couch that I ordered aIthough the chaise was supposed to be delivered as well. I called, they are now saying rails should be available 12/4 and the chase is 11/23. I have been hung up on multiple times by phone support. The manager Syed does not honor his word. If he says he will take something of of order, I would recommend having it immediately put in writing because he will say that’s not what he said. The store is individually owned and when you ask for someone above the store manager, associates at the store will refuse to provide additional information on who’s above Syed and will say to call phone support. Phone support will refer you back to store manager. Worst experience by far. Zero stars. If you like being lied to, given the run around, and waiting on furniture this is place for you.

We purchased a whole bedroom set , mattress and base from Ashley furniture in June 2021. The delivery estimated date was 2 weeks from the date of the purchase. I have left a review before about how frustrated I was for staying at home every Saturday and Ashley delivering bits and pieces of our order, one time footer, another time base of the mattress, another Saturday a queen mattress (our bed is king size)…… now, this is what I need to add to my previous review; Today October 23, exactly 5 months from the date of the purchase, they finally brought the last piece and assembled the bed. The bed was broken (uneven, extremely noticeable), lots of scratches and skin of the sides of the bed was peeled off. Not only the bed was broken, it is not even compatible to the base that we purchase for the mattress. The base seats on the drawers attached to the footer of the bed. So that make our mattress uneven. We were so frustrated that I went to the store and asked to speak to a manager, he listened to me and agreed how frustrating this whole situation is. What is ironic is that in that 20 minutes that I was there, there came 3 other frustrated customers with the exact same issues that I had!! They offered to repair the bed, but I do not want a repair for a new item that I have never used. This no return policy is ridiculous. When you do not deliver your promise how could you say we do not accept returns. They are sending a new bed, but I honestly do not trust them. How frustrating! They took all the joy and excitement out this purchase. I will never ever do business with Ashley furniture and I would not recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE!!! Update--After 10 MONTHS, they finally credited my credit card for the full amount. It is a terribly run business! It has been 9 MONTHS!!! They don't deserve the star I had to mark in order to post. A human could have been born but Ashley can't get my money back! The Ashley explanation given was they need to to "talk to the credit card company" before they can issure a refund! The credit card company-Master Card has documentation showing that Ashley's has not responded to any of their emails since MAY. Why does Ashley need to talk to MC? I do not have any furniture! All I want is my money back! Ashley’s is the worst at customer service. They make it easy to buy but impossible to actually take possession of the purchase. After 4 calls to find out the furniture wasn’t coming as predicted (4 times), My furniture was finally scheduled for delivery at 3:30. At 9:00 Am the tracking info changed to say only part of the set was coming. At 1:50, less was coming and by 3:00 none was coming! Trying to get my money back! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! It’s been 5 months!!!! This has not been resolved!!! My credit card company has taken over the dispute. No furniture ever came! The order was canceled. 5 months—NO CREDIT-NO RESOLUTION!!!!

Calvin and Chad are the worst people to work with and all things they said to “close the deal”, were inaccurate and straight out lies. Do yourself a favor and go to LIVING SPACES OR ROOMS TO GO.

Best experience I’ve ever had buying furniture.

Bailey was so nice when I called. I came right to the store after the phone call. I checked out the item and made my purchase right away. I love my new couch!!

Don't buy anything from this store! They will delay your order again and again. My order has been delayed for almost 3 monthes, and they said that it would be delayed again. That is unacceptable, so I have to cancel my order.Their service is bad too.They ignore all the demands of the customers.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. ORDERED IN MAY, STILL WAITING IN OCTOBER. I went to buy my furniture at this store on Memorial day weekend and I was at first excited and impressed by the store having everything that I needed for college. However, it was too good to be true. I worked with a sales rep named Jonathon Thomas. He told me all my furniture would be delivered on July 14th. When July 14th rolled around, it got pushed 2 weeks. I had to move my hotel reservations that I already paid for because a sales rep "couldn't schedule it on the 14th." Next, 2 weeks later, I was excited because I was promised all my furniture pieces to show up. I travel all the way to my college town expecting it all to be there. NOPE. HALF OF MY STUFF CAME. When I asked Jonathon about it, he told me that he knew that already, but "forgot" to tell me. I had to live in a half-furnished bedroom and house for 2 months because of his sloppy work. At this point, one of my pieces finally came in 3 weeks ago, but I'm STILL WAITING FOR MORE FURNITURE. I ordered a dining chair set of 6, and somehow, I STILL only have 3 chairs. I have had to spend my weeks stressed about scheduling when these stupid chairs are going to come, and every time I reach out to my sales rep he either gives me either false news about when it's coming, or doesn't know the answer. I asked to reach out to the manager, and he tells me he's off work. I'm sorry, but I was impressed with Ashley at first, but now I or no one I know will NEVER PURCHASE FROM HERE AGAIN. It's funny to get excuses about distribution issues, but I ordered from another company and got my furniture built and delivered within 3 days. If you're going to give your customers false dates on when the furniture is going to arrive just to get some sales, then clearly you want to disappoint. I am cancelling the rest of my order, and will turn to a company that actually cares about their customers. After 5 months of waiting, my last resort is to save others from having the same AWFUL experience.

The person Dylan that had helped us was very helpful and very nice . Helped us with whatever we needed.

The gentleman that helped me, he was very helpful and courteous and knew that I had to get out there quickly and I was very pleased.

My wife and I went to Ashley Home Furniture to look for a dining room table and were greeted by employee Chris Newton and he talked to us a few minutes and let us roam the store to look at their selection. We both appreciate that Chris wasn't pushy and let us look around. We were able to find a nice dining room set and Chris made the process to pay for our table hassle free. I would recommend this store for your furniture needs and their great customer service!

Felix was great. He was so patient with us. I was all over the store more than just a few times trying to make a decision. Once we did the process was so easy and the delivery was great.

About 4 years ago we bought a couch set and we returned to buy another love seat for our home. As soon as we walked in we were helped. We knew what we wanted and they found us a loveseat in the color range and price point. He took our information, gave us a discount and free shipping. We walked out with what we wanted they didn’t try to sell us more items. What else can I ask for!

We purchased a bedroom set first week of June 2021. At the time of the purchase we were informed that the delivery will be two weeks from that day. It was postponed over and over and over. This Saturday was the fourth Saturday that my husband and I are sitting at home and waiting for their delivery. Every time they bring bits and pieces of our order and make mistakes. We ordered a king mattress and today they delivered a queen. One time they canceled one hour before the promised time…. With the situation going on, I understand that there are back orders with a lot of stores but this is on another level. Extremely disappointed. They don’t have a specific dates for delivery and even if they do, that’s never gonna happen. I will never ever do business with Ashley furniture and I would not recommend them to anyone.

If possible I would give negative stars. This store and the customer service are the absolute worst. We ordered a bar table that was supposed to arrive in July. After 6 delays, we were informed it would arrive the week of August 20. Nothing came up, and when we called the customer service again, we were informed they would be delayed until mid-September. When we asked the customer service rep for some info, and why it was delayed again, she HUNGED up on the call. Absolute terrible company. Definitely only care about the sales and not the customers.

Look…I’m a very patient person, and I believe myself to be very understanding since I’ve worked in customer service and retail. To sum it up, BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. I ordered my bed and chest a month in April, and you know a month or so passes and I understand due to covid it’ll be backed up or limited in employees, but it’s August. It was delivered but not all items where given to us so they took EVERYTHING back and told me the next schedule will have everything in it. Okay cool, next shipment AGAIN they are missing another item and they leave everything with us. They said they will come Sunday, turns out I have to schedule it another day. I schedule it for Saturday, Saturday comes along and they call saying the delivery guy has a family emergency most likely the delivery will be done later in the day. I said okay, I understand things happen. They didn’t give me a time, but they called me back saying they have no one and they will ship Monday. It’s Monday I get a text saying my delivery needs to be confirmed and the date that they put was the date of Saturday….honey we are in Monday, the ‘piece’ that was missing WAS NEVER BROUGHT. Not to mention my bed was HALF assembled. I was and still am ENRAGED. We called saying how irresponsibly everything is being handled. We added I f they didn’t deliver it on Monday LIKE THEY SAID, we are cancelling our order. Now, because we made a huge fuss it’s being delivered today. Lesson learned, when you read bad reviews BELIEVE them. 10/10. DO NOT RECOMMEND ASHLEYS

I order 2 full bedroom sets, a living room set & a entertainment fireplace. The sales guy Kyle said one couch was on back order for like a week or so. I was ok with that. The same with part of my daughters bed. Again I was fine with a week or two. When the delivery guys came for my sons bed the broke a big chunk of the bed & the colored it in with permanent marker & my fireplace was damaged. Called Kyle & had arrangements made. Well that bring us to today. It’s been two months & I will have not had my sons bed replaced & a part of my daughters bed still has not came. Her mattress has been on the floor. I have tried to contact Kyle many times & all he does is reject the call & never return texts. It’s very upsetting when you spend $13,000 & it takes months & months to get anything. I will never be returning to Ashley after this. All they care about is the sale & nothing else. Very sad.

Great customer service! I told A.Khan exactly what I was looking for, which was a big, soft sectional and he nailed it on the first try. I sat on the first couch he showed me and immediately fell in love. It was like sitting on a big comfy pillow! The only downside is that delivery will be 6-8 weeks (thanks covid) but hopefully it will be well worth the wait.

Honestly, dealing with Ashley has been the most frustrating thing I've done. My item was supposed to arrive today but it was delayed again for the fourth time. It takes 20 minutes waiting to call with a representative and twice now they hung up on me. It's completely unprofessional My agent who made the sale is now ignoring me because he doesn't care since he already made the sale. They ignore my emails to their representative too. The owner replied and gives a number to text, but the representative there is not helpful at all. They'll just repeat the same jaded message that your item is delayed. I understand there are delays due to shortages but I will never buy anything at Ashley because of how terrible and useless their customer service is. EDIT: Today, 8/13, my order was delayed again for the FIFTH time. I am honestly done with this incompentent company. Save yourselves the frustration and don’t shop here The owner replied to my review with an email and number. I contacted both but neither is able to do anything besides telling me my item is delayed.

Our sales guy was a jerk once we made a purchase and he for commission. Stopped answering calls and texts on cellphone number he provided. We received queen bed rails we didn’t order and sent them back. We called him and called and texted and finally heard back. He said he was issuing a refund check and we would have it in 10 days. Fast forward 3 weeks. We don’t have it and after contacting the store, it was never processed. Then we have a whole other issue with chairs that didn’t come in, but I’m running out of room to type. In short: they only care about your money here. Once you leave the store, they, or at least our guy, Kyle, doesn’t care anymore. So disappointed.

They told us bookcase was in and we could get in couple weeks. So when called them it takes 12 weeks to get.

Don’t buy from Ashley, it’s almost impossible to return even if it’s few hours after you buy. I actually Refused to accept my furniture at drop off and the delivery person told me I need to call the store , my item arrived dirty and damaged. Extremely stressful and awful customer service, long wait on the phone to call . Also , their warranty service is a scam and they try hard to make you don’t qualify . Don’t buy from Ashley

The Customer Service was Excellent, especially the young Store Manager on Duty. The Staff was very Professional and Attentive, but not pushy and My Wife and I really Appreciated that.

Spend your money elsewhere!! Purchased bunk bed on 6/19/21 was told 4-6week delivery. Called customer service to check delivery status and was told 14-16 weeks. I have been attempting to cancel this order for over a week now and keep getting the run around that a ticket has to be sent to vip cancellations (a joke and lie) and they will call me back to cancel in 48hrs. Haven’t heard from anyone. All I want is a refund back to my credit card and to be done with your company! When I call the store number, I get routed back the call center.

This is such a beautiful store! I had already done a bunch of research and knew which bedroom set I wanted but wanted to see if I could see it in person first (unfortunately it is on backorder and the floor display sold months ago). I was able to order the set and both Bailey and Jonathan were a bunch of help getting me the best deal and searching for a desk that would match. My own bedroom set comes from a different store and Ashley's was heads and shoulders above that experience.

I would give absolute zero stars if I could. My family went to this location to purchase furniture. Come to find out today that what they purchased would only be delivered at the end of October, when the salesperson said it would come at the end of this month. Very disappointed on how the salesperson lied to them and just cared about making the sale. Ashley Furniture is definitely not number 1 in Customer service. I do have to add whoever we spoke to at corporate to talk about this issue didn’t even care about what we are going through. I don’t recommend shopping here at all.

After the SEVENTH time my item has been delayed, I finally gave up and canceled my order. My item was supposed to arrive this week, but when I called for an update the representative told me it's delayed by another month, until at least September 20th. When I asked for more information and to speak to a manager, she hung up on me. It was completely unprofessional and was the final straw. You might be wondering why there are only 5 star and 1 star reviews. That's because people voted 5 stars after their purchase because the stores asked us too. Then they revert their ratings when they realized how terrible this company actually is. Expect delays. What ever the date the agent says your furniture will arrive, expect it to arrive at least 1 month after it because of demand and shortages. Both my orders were delayed, and I made it clear to the agent that delivery speed was an important factor. The agents here will lie to make a sale, so don’t believe everything they say especially when it comes to the dates. The customer service representatives are all useless and can’t do anything to help. The prices here are also more expensive compared to other places, and the quality is not that much better.

Both Christopher and Kyle were very helpful. When I first came in I had very little idea of what I was looking for and Chris helped pick out the perfect mattress for me, and gave great suggestions on sofas. Kyle helped me with the check out and was very thorough in explaining my finance options. Overall I had a great experience, I walked looking for a mattress in a box and walked out with a sofa set and a tempurpedic! Wil l definitely come back here for future furniture shopping

After having the MOST HORRIBLE experience of my life at the Pearland location this encounter renewed my faith in Ashley. I am a first time customer who was convinced I would NEVER buy again. The moment I walked into this location I felt valued, heard and appreciated. Thank you to Kyle as well as the gentleman whose name I can’t recall for making my experience a pleasant one with customer service that said I shouldn’t mind spending my hard earned money with a company that’s valued it’s customers. They should train other locations to model after the Sugarland storefront.

I ordered a couch and two bedroom sets from a manager. I was told it would take a month for the bedroom furniture and 3 months for the couch which I agreed to. After multiple stories on delivery, 4 months later, I finally received most of the bedroom sets. Out of the two sets, I received all but one dresser and two bed frames. I was told the missing dresser and bed frames would be delivered August 6 (5 months later) and I needed to go to the store and pick out a different couch by the delivery team. My salesman, Christian, gave me his cell number to help if I had any problems. I reached out to him twice and he was no help at all and had plenty of excuses. I went to the store today to find out that the employees were told not to sell sleeper sofas at all. A little honestly could have totally prevented all of this. Why would a manager who told his sales people not to sell them sell me one? Commission? On a positive note, the sales person who helped me today appeared to be quite transparent, helpful and understanding. Here’s to hoping I get my delivery as scheduled but I’m doubtful. Still like the furniture but he needs to go sellbused cars!

Horrible service! They promised me all furniture 3 bedroom sets) in three weeks waited 4 months! I was getting piece by piece so annoying and at last 2 pieces they put it on layaway when i payed in cash for everything! They every time i called costumer service number all altitude and just repeating what they saying not even listening! And charged me for wrong size still waiting refund! Never shopping with them again!!!

Nothing but lies from the sales people. Promised my delivery would be a week. After a week called to service center and said salespeople would not know the delivery schedule. Then discovered it would take two more weeks to get my stuff. If I would of known this up front would not have purchased. Katy location is the worst.

We are moving to a new home. Ashley is definitely the best place to shop for elegant furnitures at affordable price. I fell in love to a beautiful round dining table and a king bed. Their staff are polite and accommodating. I will definitely recommend Ashley HomeStore to family and friends.👍

When I went in the store to make the initial purchase the salesperson was nice and very polite. When I went back to make a re-selection the following day I was treated very poorly. The salesperson was rude and had a nasty attitude towards me. Very different than the previous day when she made the original sale.

Employees were polite and insightful. I was in and out of the store with exactly what I wanted.

To give you a little bit of a background. My parents who are very old in age purchased 4 new mattresses. Our problem is with the service. We were told by the sales representative that when they deliver the mattresses they would take the old mattresses with them for disposal. Upon delivery of the mattresses they refused to take the old mattresses. My parents who I will say again are very old and are not able to deal with this type of drama regardless of the situation we're very upset. They contacted Ashley furniture and would not get any answers and such poor service with very rude people talking to them. This is unacceptable behavior for a customer to deal with this ever. For them to be old and the service still be rude and uncaring is ten times worse. I will say we will never purchase anything from Ashley furniture in the future and have returned the mattresses that we have purchased. Save your money find a better place to get what you want.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. We were told that regardless of the condition of the mattress that they would take them. When trying to reach a rep, no one would help. Instead of being professional, the owner replied to my daughter stating to reach out through text to chat with a representative. What kind of service is that? Extremely unprofessional that I'm given a robot to speak to. Clearly the owner doesn't care about his customers. Stay away from this location. They lie, they don't care to help. You will get the run around. On top of that, the delivery drivers spoke absolutely no English, so it was impossible to communicate anything with them. I'm beyond disappointed. I'm never shopping here again. Lack of customer service.

Great place for furnitures

Take my advise don't waste your time buying any mattresses from Ashely because you'll be sleeping on the floor waiting for delivery. There is no communications after sales because the store does not pick up their phone. You'll have to go to the store to speak to someone. Even after all the dissatisfaction they will still try to keep their sales by offering $800 off the order. AHAHAHAHAHA that is not enough for all the inconvenience and discomfort my family and I have gone through. What's all funny about this was that I was a "Karen" for the 1st time without being hangry. The only good thing out of this ordeal was that I saved ALOT more money by getting my mattresses elsewhere that did same day delivery.

My sales guy was very professional and answered all of my questions. I will be back to make another purchase.

Update: So, as you can all see the owner of this location replied to my review, and asked me to send them our information regarding our order. This morning come to find out the couch we ordered won’t be in the warehouse until 07/23! Y’all they are selling furniture they do not have, we purchased the set in April! I honestly thought they would be able to rectify the situation, but no they’re a bunch of cons. I am taking this up with the BBB for Fraudulent Business practices. Disappointed, to say the least considering the sales associate was informed and courteous. My mother and I went in on April 1st and purchased a nice L shaped couch, and recliner. The associate mentioned that due to covid orders were backlogged, but that we would be given expediency and have the furniture deliver by mid May. Well, fast forward to now, it is late June, and we have received no information on shipment, but instead the date keeps getting pushed back. We were told May, then it was mid June, and now we are being told early July, almost 3 months since we have purchased the set. When asked about a refund to take our business elsewhere, they have the audacity to charge us a 10 percent refund fee of which we paid. Suffice to say, we gave up, and will probably take our business elsewhere in the future.

At this point I’m paying for a bedroom that the sales rep Christian at Sugarland selected for my daughter. They delivered the wrong bedroom set. Continue to take no accountability for all of their mistakes. It’s been 3months and I still yet to have the beautiful bedroom I had selected for my daughters 17th birthday. Everyone I have spoken to have been unprofessional stating “that there is a communication issue I speak read and write English”. We didn’t have a communication issue when charging me 5,000. I have been humiliated.

Looking for new furniture for recreation room in my home. Had already shopped a few stores and Ashley had the best selection of what I was looking for and reasonably priced. I was helped by Catalino "Cat" Soto and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great shopping experience and I purchased the items I was looking for.

if you are considering ordering from this location be weary. I came in a couple months ago to get a couch and was told the couch I wanted was in stock and ready to deliver that weekend. the weekend came and went and we had no couch so I went to grab my invoice and call them and the sales person gave us a different persons invoice. so i call the store and and am told then that they keep no items in stock in the Wearhouse and that the couch I want will take a couple months to deliver. fast forward a couple months and last Friday I call and am told the couch will be ready to deliver on 6/10/21 so now yesterday on 6/10 I call to see about the delivery and am told my order was canceled. the call center employee said it was strange because the cancel had no notes with it and was approved by the store manager. we were not contacted or sent any form of communication about this cancelation nor did we get our money back either. after some digging the call center employee says there is nothing they can do to help and I will have contact the store directly. after calling the store 5+ times and just hearing a ringing sound and no answer ever I went to go to the store directly which is 45 minutes away. once there the manager says that it was canceled because of a inventory error and that he can remake the order for me when asked why we didn't get a call or email or refund he kept changing the subject. so then he tells up we will receive a call for scheduling and we will have it out asap this weekend. so today i get a call finally from them telling me it will not be here this weekend and that the store members cant schedule delivery's. so now we are still waiting on items to be delivered. you can not trust what the people in this store say, they will say anything to you to make the sale and then you no longer matter.

Cat was the most helpful salesman ever! (without pressuring or following us around) He was available when we had questions, and advised us of a percentage discount on our purchase. This was the most enjoyable shopping experience for furniture ever.

I have been an Ashley Furniture fan and customer for years but that changed after my most recent purchase. Communication is nonexistent after your purchase! I tried to contact this location three days in a row. Nobody picked up the phone or responded to my voicemails. I ordered a dining set and only the chairs were delivered on the scheduled date. Nobody called to explain what happened to the table or apologize. I had to call myself and customer service had no answers, no way to contact the store, and no way for me to speak with a supervisor. I hope the calls are truly recorded and somebody listens to some of the exchanges I had with them. All but the last call center employees I spoke with were rude and showed no empathy. I was beyond frustrated with this purchase and I would return everything if I could and give my business to someone who values their customers. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Pay a few hundred more at a place like Star or Gallery. The quality is better and you won't have the headache later from dealing with incompetence.

DON'T BELIEVE THEIR LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I changed my review after a few weeks. We told our associate time and availability are very crucial factors in our decisions to buy. We have other store options that would've arrived in 3 weeks, but we went with Ashley because he guaranteed it can come within 2 weeks. There were also other furniture we liked more but we went with the fastest. Well they changed the delivery date and the product is now delayed by several weeks! This is also a tentative date and can be delayed by up to 2 months. Not to mention the customer service is so incompetent that they can't do anything. The agent is now purposely avoiding my calls. I believe the agent lied to me on purpose just to get a sale because he knows time was an important factor.

Update: After reaching out to the email provided below the service time took forever they literally were sending one email response per day, they still will not fix the problem. I will never be giving them any more business and be very careful with the sales reps like ms strong that lie to sell products. The in store experience was just fine however once you are out of the door they no longer care about you. We purchased a furniture set from ms. Strong a little over a year ago. She pushed the 5 extended warranty plan on is saying “this will cover all damages to the furniture.” Here we are a year and three month later and the lining under the cushion of our couch has completely ripped through on one side mind you this couch never has more than 160 pounds on it. I reached out to customer service they told me to cal the warranty company. To my surprise conveniently this damage is not covered by the warranty. I reached out to customer service again and they told me that they can’t help me since it is three months outside of the one year factory warranty and it would cost a technician $100 an hour to work on it. He also said he would make a ticket for the store to reach out to me. The store never reached out so I called again and the young lady made another ticket and told me to text the help number associated with the store. I texted the number associated with the store and they finally responded back with more or less yes you have to pay $100 an hour and that is the only solution. Beware they will lie to you to make sales and sell you a product that is of unsound quality and not look back.

We shopped multiple furniture stores and found exactly what we wanted at Ashley. On top of finding the right furnitures, the great services we received from 2 of the sale associates topped it off. We definitely will come back to shop for more furniture at Ashley.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE! I started this experience from hell by purchasing the couch six weeks in advance. They delivered half a couch six weeks later. Over the course of another 6 weeks they made up lies and denied my wishes to return the (half) couch. I had to text my sales boy every week to remind him half of it was missing. He supposedly checked in on the progress, but never got back to me on the delivery date. Eventually he started to ignore my texts, and I had to drive out of my way to go to the store location to get answers (they do not answer the phones lines). He was supposed to start a transfer process from another warehouse location for the remaining half of my couch, he lied bout that too. There was no transfer initiated. I found this out after a week of him “checking up on it”. The store manager “magically” found the missing half, but they canceled the delivery an hour before it was supposed to be delivered. After six weeks I canceled my order and returned half the couch. The store manager was supposed to cancel my whole order, I found out he did not when I did not get my money back. I had to call corporate 3 times and report the transaction as fraud to my bank to eventually get my money back a month after returning half the couch. This is the biggest scam of a company. Unless you have the time and energy do to the job of the employees, as they can’t seem to figure it out themselves, I would not recommend buying from them. Not one person apologized for their lies and they even tried to guilt me into not returning it.

I have been a customer for 10 years. Thankful for the service and all the quality in the purchases that I have made. I recommend everyone to shop at Ashley’s furniture for their furniture needs. I told my family and now we all have items from Ashley’s Furniture, no issues whatsoever!

Excellent Service. Christian Brewer has the patient of a saint. I wasn't sure what I needed but knew that I wanted a electric lift chair for my bedroom . I was able to get a electric lift chair as well as a recliner for my living room. Yes, when I need additional furniture I will be going back to Ashley and hope that Christian is still working there. Waiting for the delivery of the chairs.

Purchased table and chairs on April 18 with a promise that delivery would be in two weeks. Today is May 12, no delivery and no calls to explain when we can expect our order. Horrible customer service. Our sales rep was Jonathon Thomas. We are now trying to chase down when we can expect delivery for tables and chairs and they indicated it can take another 4 weeks. Essentially 2 months to deiver table and chairs, they were not transparent about this upfront. Therefore they have lost my trust and future business. Please shop at your own risk. Hope this helps! Also called customer service, they didnt seem to care. The line was we will deliver whenever we can. Not the way business is done.

I had been searching for a particular sofa and loveseat set for about a year and a half. Other furniture stores were limited in what they offered because they tended to focus on more modern styles. Ashley Home Store in Sugar Land had a wide variety of styles including the exact type of sofa nd loveseat set I was looking for at great quality and a good price, plus the salesperson also gave me an additional discount--beating the prices of all the other furniture stores I had shopped at. The salesperson, Chris, was outstanding, very professional, informative, and friendly. Very, very pleased!

The first time we went to this store we were just looking and we really liked the fact that nobody was following us asking every 5 min if we made up our minds yet. The second time we were decided to buy and it was incredibly easy and quick we couldn’t believe it 😆 Chad was very friendly and patient while we were taking our sweet time deciding what we were buying.

I bought a sleeper sofa in August 2019 from Mr. Felix the store associate. I bought 5 years warranty which will fix or replace the product in the event it’s broken or malfunctioned. March 2021, the mechanism of the sofa broke. I went to the store in quest of what I need to do to get it fixed or replaced. I was given the worst response of my life. After several trials, phone calls and emails, I was told that the sofa mechanism is not on the list of the warranty. I was also told that I will be given list of people to call for repairs. What’s the purpose of the warranty if I have to to pay for the repairs. Finally they delivered the sofa mechanism and I’m told that I’ll have to pay $130/hr for them to send someone out to come and fix it. This is a ripoff and sounds very Trumpism of bait and switch. What’s the essence of buying warranty that will last for 5 years. Barely 18 months, the sleeper sofa mechanism breaks apart. I hope you all should be transparent in selling the furniture and not warranty as this is a way of ripping people off. Have no desire to visit the store or buying any more furnitures from them. Very disappointing with a sleeper sofa mechanism sitting in my living room waiting for them to come and fix it

Does anyone have any idea how to get refund from Ashley Furniture. It has been 3 months I am trying to get refund from them, everytime when I call them they say someone will call from Fianance department and guess what NOBODY CALLS. Unfortunately there is no negative rating.

The warranty company that Ashley uses ,GBS,absolutely non-responsive! My power recliner lost power and they sent out a tech who supposedly ordered parts! Almost 3 months later and still no parts! Finally got through and spoke to a rep and was told the manufacturer had not responded to parts requests! WHAT? Scheduled for hip operation on may 18th and need my recliner! Ashley furniture needs to have a go to person at GBS! They totally suck! Will not shop Ashley Furniture!

I had been shopping online for a new dining set and when I went in to the local store, the price was about $358 higher. I spoke with the sales rep and was matched the online price with a perfect delivery date! Thank you Ashley Furniture-Sugar Land .

I am so upset about the customer service and the quality of the furniture. I do not want to give them even a single star at all. I spent over $5,000 on purchasing the whole set of living room furnitures and dining table set in February. After over 8 weeks’ waiting, finally I got all of my furnitures. They didn’t keep the date that they promised, and I understood it. What I don’t understand is they never called and informed me when they couldn’t make it the promised date. How about the quality? I just received my final piece of furniture, and it looks horrible. TV stand is dented here and there, scratches are here and there. The doors don’t close evenly. When I called the customer center, they said “place an exchange order”, which means I have to wait another 8 weeks or more!!!! What a non sense... So frustrating... I do not recommend you to consider buy any furnitures here unless you can stay very patient and generous.

Bad customer service, they don't have furniture in stock .. I placed an order since April and still haven't received it 5 months later. I do not recommend this store, office workers have no manners to fill that position. Sellers very kindly trick you into buying, knowing that they are out of stock and that orders take half a year to arrive. I think they are one of the most expensive furniture stores for the bad service they provide.

At this point I have been lied to, hung up on, and essentially robbed of $500 for a warranty that they refuse to actually do what they tell me they will do when I call to report the issue. This is the worst experience ever, We went to buy a sectional on black Friday, We decide to buy a five seat one we saw there, it's huge and will be suitable for our living room. We asked the salesman how much is it and when the delivery time will be, he told us the price and the delivery will be before the end of the year after Christmas. We received everything after three months from the promised date on three separate delivery. Also we found out that they display in the store a 5 seat sectional, even on there website, but the price they put is for 4 seat sectional. Read the invoice carfuly before signing anything, and expect a long delivery wait.

I walked in about 25 minutes before closing and coming from Houston's most famous store where you have to pay $5000 for a table and $400 for a single chair. I walked into Ashley and found exactly what I was looking for got approved for credit, and no interest for 4 years and not 15 months like the local famous store told me. The price of that one take at the other store was all I needed to furnish my living room, formal dining, and breakfast area. Customer service was also amazing. I was not rushed, not pressured, and their prices were amazing. Oh and insurance was super affordable.

James took his time with us even though we looked around for hours going back and forth with different bed frames and dining tables to choose from and in between all the decisions he'd check in every so often to give us some more insight and detail on some of the things we looked at and answered our questions to the best of his knowledge and after all that searching for hours on end we finally came to a decision thanks to him.

Beware!!! Do not trust the false promises or quality they have !!?. Do not trust their warranty or Promises. Bought a top of the line bed for Top $$$$. Rails broke within 10 months and me and wife fell and now have a bad backache ?!. After few Hussle they ordered the part and guess what it will come after 4 months !!!. Requested them to help to put together the bed until we get the rails as we were sleeping on the floor since days. Cold heartely refused !!! I doubt the quality of the furniture they sell. How can rail break so easily??? They are not seems to be a corporate franchisee. Which means once we buy anything we are at their MERCY and corporate won't help you. Beware !!! Extremely disappointed. Brands don't mean anything if they don't understand customer service.

We had our first Ashley Homestore experience today. My husband and I, along with our two kids, were welcomed into the store by many staff members. Akeem helped us pick out the right couch for us, and we never felt rushed or pressured. He was always right there when we needed to ask a question, and the buying process was fast and easy. Our young kiddos were having a blast in the store, and instead of feeling like a burden, each staff member made us feel like our kids were a joy to have there. In late Feb/early March we purchased a queen bed and mattress set to replace my son's twin bed. It's been a nightmare ever since. On the original delivery date, the delivery driver called to ask if we had the headboard for the bed because it wasn't on the truck. Why would we have the headboard? Obviously we couldn't accept the delivery. Mind you, we had just gotten rid of my son's bed that morning in anticipation of his new bed arriving that afternoon. We got a call a few days later that the entire bed was available so we scheduled delivery for 2 days later. The guys came, set up the bed, and there's very noticeable damage to part of the headboard that Ashley did a poor job trying to repair. We told the drivers that we paid for a new items and wouldn't accept the bed on that condition. They told us to call customer service, packed it up, and left. We've called customer serviced multiple times throughout this entire process and they are NEVER helpful. No one can ever answer any questions; it seems like all they can do is schedule deliveries and tell you why it's not their fault. Meanwhile, my son's been sleeping on our couch ever since the failed first delivery, and no one at Ashley cares. Think twice about doing business with this company.

Finally found the missing piece for our new home. Great selection in home decor. Definitely going back next time I need new furniture.

I ordered a desk from here on 03/14/21. I schedule my delivery for the 22nd. I got a email the same day requesting for a reschedule because there was a issue with the delivery, so that’s what I did ... called and rescheduled for the 27th. Next thing you know on the 27th I get a email saying there was a issue with the delivery again..... that it will get delivered on September 7. This is ridicules how they’re keep pushing the delivery date and I have to wait over 2 weeks for some furniture. Asked for a refund now I have to wait a week to receive my refund and buy my furniture some where else. Thanks for waisting my time.

An experienced sales person can really save you time and money with recommendations that you just can’t receive online. We purchased a full living room set, Sofa, Loveseat, and Chair with Ottoman at a really great price. We had the option of 6 mo. zero percent financing that really fit our financial needs. It’s an amazing feeling to arrive home with no second thought about your purchase and fully confident that our purchase would last ten years or more! I’m sure we will buy again from Ashley.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. Came in with my fiancée to look at bedroom sets and was greeted in the store by Calvin. He gave us a quick run down of what we were looking for and let us look around a few minutes then came back to us when he noticed we had made a choice. He was super helpful and patient with us after discussing many options. Definitely will be back when deciding to add more into home.

We had such a positive experience today at The Ashley Home Store in Sugarland! Our sales representative, James, was courteous and very informative. He answered all our questions and assisted us with financing so efficiently. The furniture we selected is comfortable, durable and affordable. Would recommend this store highly.

My experience with Ashley's Furniture started off great, however it quickly went down hill from there. I bought a sectional couch in July 2020. At the time, I wasn't sure if the entire sectional would fit in the space, however they assured me that I had time to return pieces of the sectional to fit my needs. They were running a promotion that day and wanted me to purchase there and then, claiming the sale would end the following day. Two weeks after the purchase, I went back to Ashely's Furniture to return 1 piece of the sectional as the entire sectional would be too big. They said it would take about 2-3 weeks for the refund to process. A month pass by and I never received my refund, so I went back to the store. They then said it could take up to 6-8 weeks for refunds to be process, so hang tight. Okay, so I then I waited another 6 weeks (2.5 months from original return date), still no refund. I went back to the store. The manager said I should had gotten a refund by now, therefore he sent an email to the processing department. Another 6 weeks pass and still no refund and no updates about the refund. This is now 4 months after original return date, therefore I paid them another visit for the 4th time. I saw the same manager who again sent another email to the processing department. 2 more months have pass and we are now 6 months after original refund date. At this time, I saw a new manager (Rebecca). Rebecca looked into my account and told me that the refund had already been process back in July 2019 (we are now in January 2021). I had previously went through all my bank statements the night prior and I assured Rebecca that I had never received the refund. She shrug her shoulders and asked for documentation proof from my bank. FINE. So be it. I printed out all my bank statements from July 2020 through January 2021 (making sure I cut out all my personal information). I returned to their store on February 1st ready with all my bank statements. Spoke to Rebecca again and amazingly, somehow she told me the refund was process as of January 29, 2021. SIX MONTHS AFTER MY ORIGINAL RETURN DATE. On February 2nd, it deposited into my bank. Oh, just out of thin air it automatically FINALLY gave me my refund. Which makes me wonder, was Rebecca lying to me when she said the refund was process in July 2020?? I paid them a total of 6 visits, waiting 6 LONG months, listening to all their excuses just for a refund of 1 piece of the sectional. I did receive the sectional October 2020 and I do like the couch itself. However, the refund was a HUGE HASSEL. Makes me wonder, If I never kept up with the refund, would they had never refunded me then? What a scam.

Unfortunately, our experience with Ashley is a very unpleasant experience. My husband and I have purchased furniture from there several times over the past 20 years, and we have never had a problem. However, this last experience was horrible. To make a long story short the manager after much debate back and forth agreed and emailed us our credit memo in the amount of $649.49 for protective warranty on our bedroom set which we did not want!! We have been battling back and forth for our refund. My husband went up there on Saturday 2/20/21 to make sure everything was resolved. At that time the lady at the front desk ( very nice lady) explained to my husband that the $649.49 protective insurance was going to be credited to our account. This was supposed to be credited on 1/29/21 according to the credit memo. However, I called the bank today 2/23/21, and there is NO credit in that amount. Although we love our furniture and it’s good quality we will NOT be purchasing any more furniture at this location. So, please make sure and check your invoice line by line before leaving the store. Lesson learned.

Went to Ashley Furniture, Sugar Land, TX looking for a casual set on Sunday, 2/21/2021. James introduced himself to us and then let us search the store, touching base with us occasionally to see how we were doing. He answered every one of our questions and, for items not on the showroom floor, pulled them up on a large computer screen for us to see. He made the experience very enjoyable. And yes, we found exactly what we were hoping to find (and then some) at a very reasonable price.

I’m giving this rating because my salesman, Mike was excellent!

DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY. #1 their store phones are silenced and they do not answer calls. #2 their sales staff only give you endless runarounds, even going so far as to give you their personal cell phone as a “hotline” that they also will never answer. They have delayed the delivery of thousands of dollars of furniture by over a month each time we called for a status update. You will NEVER receive furniture you paid for. Our living room has been empty for months as we sit on folding chairs. Beyond that, the sales staff DO NOT WEAR MASKS PROPERLY.

We were greeted by Kyle upon entering the store and he was extremely friendly and personable. We told him what we were looking for, he understand what vision we had and showed us exactly what my husband and I were looking for. What REALLY stood out to me was his professionalism. While completing our credit application, the was another salesman or coworker of his who was on his cell phone near us, taking a personal call, no big deal, but as Kyle was attending to us, the other guy tries handing his phone to Kyle so that whoever he was talking to could talk to Kyle, the other guy was laughing and rudely interrupted while we were being attending by Kyle. Kyle quickly told him that he’s with a customer and that he wasn’t going to talk on the phone. Then, while still on the phone, the coworker is joking around and cursing to whomever he is talking to on the phone, Kyle quickly interrupts him and lets him know to stop as I am there with my two small children. Kyle did not have to do that, but he did and handled the situation very well and respected that I was there with my children. I was overall very pleased with our entire experience and absolutely LOVE the furniture that we purchased from Ashley Furniture. Thank you Kyle for your hospitality! & thank you Ashley Furniture for your great quality in furniture!

He went all the way by knowing what furniture was on the floor as I contemplated style, color and size for my purchase. His demeanor is exemplary during a pandemic when stressors of decisions are high. I recommend Yoda to anyone looking but not quite there yet with so much merchandise on the showroom floor!😇

You’re furniture will come in at least a month late, and you will be required to constantly call and ask when the new date is because they will not contact you about it. When I decided I didn’t want to wait for my furniture anymore, my sales person James did not cancel my order like I asked. Instead, he made the furniture come on a date I would not be able to receive it. I have had a horrible experience with this store. Do not buy from them.

I had a great experience going to Ashley. My family was looking for a table for my new apartment and the team there was extremely helpful in finding what we needed. We came for something simple, but due to the expertise from the reps at the store we were able to find something much better and more affordable.

Omar the sale worker at Ashley help us in are purchased and help me with my finances credit he went all out on me to get my furniture i recommended anybody to go shopping there it was my first purchased there for my new home 🙂

I walked in Ashley HomeStore to just look at couches. I had been shopping around for months but hadn't found one that I LOVED yet. My last couch was an oversized couch made of feathers from Z Gallerie so I've been looking for a couch that was just as big and comfortable but with no success. I found a sectional couch that was perfect at Ashley but I was still hesitate about what it might cost and could I afford it. One of the sales associates, Kyle calmed my anxiety about affording it and gave me 3 different payment options to decide which was best for me financially. I'm glad to say my couch is an Ashley couch and more comfortable and affordable than my last.

Will never shop at Ashley's again, this is the first store I have ever had to boycot. I Walked through the sugarland location of Ashley's for almost an hour... Many of their sales associated looked right at me and did not even bother to ask did if I needed help, instead they walked past me multiple times to go greet and help customers who were not of the same skin tone. I thought at first maybe it was just me, until I noticed other customers with my same skin tone were also not being helped. I am not sure what it is about Ashley's furniture, but I do not believe they value certain customers. I have shopped at many major furniture companies all over the houston and surrounding areas. I have only experienced racial discrimination at Ashley's furniture stores. Please if you are a minority take your business elsewhere, this place will not give you equal treatment and plus their ratings and quality are both sub par.

We had the most wonderful experience shopping at Ashley Furniture out in Sugarland. Christopher was the kindest, most helpful, and sincere person who offered impeccable customer service. We were able to get something we love, at a great price, and delivered at a time we needed. One word: Wow! Amazing store with an amazing employee! salesman was good, and so was the manager, but i have been trying to work with the manager and salesman about a refund due to me for the past 5 months and have gotten NOWHERE. I keep calling, sending emails but i do not get any replies about how much longer it will take to get my refund. This is way too ridiculous how ashley furniture thinks they should keep my money for this long without any kind of communications with me. I finally received my refund. Thank you.

I bought furniture for my daughter’s room my delivery was scheduled and they changed the time on me 3 times and I didn’t get all my stuff. They send me another delivery 6 days later and only 1 piece and still missing 2 piece and they guys are telling me all the stuff has been delivered and I called the salesman and he said only manager can help. And I can’t get hold of the manager. Now I don’t know what to do. This experience has been the worse ever. Seems like they can’t give me names or contact number to contact. Worse Customer service ever. I’m regretting ever buying from Ashley’s. If anyone has any idea how I can get the 2 piece that I’m missing please help me. I keep calling and looks like nobody want to help get this issue taken care of

I love Ashley HomeStore. They have great products for a great price. We always fall in love with certain pieces. I love that they don't hover over you like flies and they allow you to talk amongst yourself when debating on furniture.

Worst experience with any store ever. We shopped our entire home from Ashley on Nov 8th and Was promised mid december delivery . We got just 2 recliners, 2 accent chairs and a tv stand out of all on Jan8 that too with a damaged chair! The timeframe they told for complete delivery is March. They make false promises just to get customers. Ashley has tested my patience to the highest level and I am nit going to trust this store ever nor do I recommed.

UPDATE: they did offer an exchange for the whole 7 pc furniture with a brand new one of our choice. We selected a new pc, as this particular dining pc was a problem. The other one we got is good and hence giving more star for the service offered. Worst service, and cheap products. We ordered dining table , coffee table and bed during thanksgiving. First they mentioned delivery before Christmas, we received the delivery after new year. When the delivery guy left we saw this big black stain on the chair and wood chip on the coffee table. within a day we noticed one more issue with the dining table. One wood chip came off. I have emailed them but haven't received any reply yet. I am going to complain BBB. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont fall in a trap. worst experience ever. I have shopped from other furniture stores as well, never had such issues.

Went to another furniture store, a Houston institution, and had a great experience but couldn’t find what we needed. We came to Ashley as their website showed what we wanted. Completely different experience. Multiple employees with masks below their noses, even when interacting with customers. The manager had to override a price match and never said a word to his employee regarding his mask issue. Very irresponsible behavior as our county is in code red.

Always loved Ashley's funiture, purch a sed a dining table some years ago. I was looking for a living room set, but to my disappointment I could not find anything with vibrant colors, everything was beige, grays and whites. Still have very good and quality furniture.

Everyone at Ashley Home Store is always very nice, but our Sales Person Yoda (Yousif Oda) was absolutely awesome. He is very knowledgeable & takes the time to explain the different options (mattress & adjustable base).

There has been so much miscommunication with Ashley’s.. we have been waiting to receive our furniture since before thanksgiving. We have half of our items and each time the delivery date for the remaining items has been pushed back... It has been almost 3 months and we still do not have a solid date on when the rest of the order will be delivered. On top of all this we were so close to canceling our entire order. This was due to an entire bed set being the wrong color & 2 of the 5 drawer chests missing from the order when we specifically stated we needed them. Then when we went back the talk to the member helping us, he asked “are you sure that your room is big enough for a chest to even fit?” We have visited the store 4 times since we made our purchase. Overall we are very dissatisfied with Ashley’s management skills on getting deliveries diligently and efficiently delivered to our home.

We walked in and were greeted by a salesman (Kyle) and at first I thought I didn’t want to be bothered by a salesperson but he asked a question and engaged us right away with some recommendations. As in I wanted a cloth sofa but have a dog that likes to pee on my furniture so he described how that will damage the sofa etc. he pointed us in the direction of a leather couch which we liked and was our taste. Every piece we were looking for he had some options for us. Very low pressure and great advice ! And we bought quite a bit of furniture on first day we were looking.

The staff was great; I had been to another store, and when we saw the quality for a little more in price were all in. Our salesperson was great and did not pressure sale us.

Friendly and professional store. The sales person was super helpful and accommodating. You don’t have to look up and wait to find help, they let you shop and check on you. Pricing for console cabinet was affordable and great with discount to help meet my budget. Ask for Omar yet all the store sales reps are great.

The salesman was very helpful. However, the quality of products and customer service is terrible. We bought furniture from a couple of different places and all the products we brought from Ashley had problems. When asked to fix the problems, the representatives were not at all helpful. I would definitely not recommend buying furniture from this store. Many other stores such as star furniture are much better with quality of products as well as customer service.

Horrible experience! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Unless you want your furniture in 2 months and charged a 10% fee to return your items. They do not pick up their phones when trying to get an update so be prepared to make a trip to the store. The 1-800 customer service line is also horrible. Good luck filing a complaint. I also like how they are blaming everything on Covid. I’ve had several other services delivered and set up at my house and the excuse of Covid was never used.

I can't say enough about this store. The staff is very helpful and the furniture is top quality. I will definitely make Ashley Furniture my preferred furniture source for future purchases.

Update to this review - Ashley was great on the front end as I stated below - BUT— awful on customer service. My sofa has had issues and I reached out numerous times, spoke to various people. I was lied to repeatedly; wasted my time taking photos and sending them to Ashley; no return calls; ignored my correspondence; just awful. I would not buy a pencil from this store ever again. I am stuck with terrible furniture with no recourse because Ashley will just continue to ignore me. My opinion - furniture you find on the side of the road would be better than what we paid good money for. Never again will my feet cross Ashley’s threshold. Shame I had to give one star in order to post this. My husband and I ordered some new family room furniture from Ashley back in August, 2020 and we were made aware of the fact that deliveries were taking longer than usual. The total order was delivered on 11/5. I have to say that even though it took a little longer than expected we are extremely happy with our furniture. Perfect in every way. We also wanted to give a big thank you to Christian Brewer, Sales Mgr. at the Sugar Land, Tx location for all his help from when we ordered to getting us delivered. Speaking of delivery, the driver Benny Rodriguez and his associate were wonderful - set everything up, cleaned up packing materials and were very pleasant to deal with. Nice selection, no pressure sales, had exactly what we wanted, prices are better than most other dealers, and the quality is good. Total set with 2 table leves, 4 chairs and bench, + 3year warranty under under 2k $, nice solid wood. Cushion chairs and bench are soft and comfortable.

My first visit was on Black Friday just to browse and even though store was busy the sales rep Chad helped us out and then I went back on Sunday to purchase bed I liked. Chad and Ameen are great salesman. Very professional and friendly. Had great experience will definitely go back to buy more stuff.

THE DELIVERY TEAM IS TERRIBLE! I bought a 3 piece sectional and was assigned a delivery date 2 months after I purchased it. Understandable due to COVID. Well they called to say only 2 pieces would be ready by that date, and asked if I wanted to reschedule for when all 3 pieces would be avaiable. I said yes that is fine. Lo and behold on the new delivery date....only two pieces arrived. I was not happy. They admitted the mistake and arranged for the 3rd piece to be delivered the following week. I received the confirmation email and call to solidify the 2nd delivery date and as far as I knew, all was well. NOW...I CALL AND THEY'VE CHANGED MY DATE AGAIN WITH ZERO NOTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM LIVID!

Worst experience with this company, not consistent with words , spaced out delivered this is 3rd delivery and malfunction on some items that I have to send back to be replaced. They are not delivering Everything at once it's so spaced out & no courtesy calls on behalf, I told them don't deliver until Everything is there to be delivered they didn't listen this is the third delivery and I still don't have Everything, they tell me it's all coming for 3rd delivery and item are still missing. Had a great experience at the location in Sugar Land on the Southwest Freeway. I had tried to shop by looking online but I ran into a slight problem locating something for my platform bed. However, I contacted the Sugar Land location and Christian was very helpful and pleasant to work with. He scheduled me an appointment and I was able to get everything I needed. Note: Shop early because a lot of items are taking time to get back in stock (Covid, Black Friday deals, holidays etc).

I purchased an entertainment stand. The in store purchase was fine and sales person was helpful. He said the furniture would be delivered already assembled. It was not. That wasn’t the issue though. Since delivery a few days ago I have called over 10 times and never get an answer. I have to physically drive to the store to speak to anyone. The piece was a good price but not worth the hassle and horrible customer service. There are too many other places nearby to choose from, go elsewhere.

Purchasing a sofa from Ashley HomeStore has been the worst and most frustrating purchase I've ever made. I ordered a two piece sectional in July. The person in store helping me, Yoda, was very persuasive and told me the full couch would be arriving in August. This was my first ever large furniture purchase and I told him I wanted to buy the couch in full that day. He was so persistent and talked me out of it. I was naïve and trusted him and did not realize I was walking out of the store having opened a credit card. I felt completely manipulated and tricked. Not only that, the August delivery date couldn't have been farther from the truth. I have spent hours on end on hold and have been dropped from the call too many times to count. I have talked to multiple representatives in one day and have actually been told conflicting delivery dates. I have scheduled and confirmed a delivery only to find out the next day that my items were still on backorder by an entire month. They clearly have no visibility into their supply chain. They will never give you an accurate delivery date and they will blame it on their suppliers. I no longer live in Sugar Land so I cannot go to the store in person, but I have attempted to open at least 4 service tickets with this store and have never once received a call back. My items FINALLY arrived in November - I truly never thought they would be delivered. After the most frustrating experience, I'm not even satisfied with my items. The actual dimensions are not as they were described - they are short by at least 15 inches. I have been so fed up with this company and wanted to cancel my order. Apparently there is a 10% cancellation fee that the sales people do not verbally disclose. My only advice - save yourself from a four month long headache and NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE.

Christopher was so incredibly helpful! I came in knowing a style that we wanted to purchase for a dining set and he showed me only what I asked to see and even helped bring chairs from around the store to the table to help me figure out what looked best and in my style. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to "sell" me on something else!

I hate everything about this store. I placed an order in JULY. My first delivery date was 8/20/20, ok great. Then I called after never receiving a call text or anything new delivery date 10/23/20, still waiting on bed rails for my bed still no sofa or love seat. I’ve been very patient. I’ve called every week since August 20th and every date is different. NOW TODAY 10/27 the sofa AND love seat is unavailable AFTER THEY GAVE ME A DELIVERY DATE OF 10/31 AND 11/17!!! Once they get your order at the store they don’t care anymore so don’t waste your gas.

My husband and I just bought a house and we’re new to the area. We’re starting from square 1 (we moved from overseas so we have no furniture). Today I called about a purchase of a bed set and living room set I made a few weeks ago. I was trying to figure out when it would be delivered (I was told end of October or beginning of November). The lady I talked to over the phone couldn’t book partial delivery for us even though some of our pieces were in. I ended up going to the store in person to see if they would help. The person helping me said they won’t do partial delivery and so none of the furniture will be delivered until the last week of November or first week of December. When he was done helping me, and I was about to leave he told me, “I wasn’t supposed to help you today. I was supposed to call about a lady who purchased a house this summer and is visiting it this weekend and has nothing to sit on but I gave you priority. You have to understand the situation.” When I was in the store, there were plenty of other sales reps and I was the only customer. He could’ve handed me off to someone else. How rude. I’ll never shop there again once I get my furniture.

Salespeople were nice however we tried hard to get all my furniture but Ashley couldn’t deliver. I ended up canceling part of my order and taking business elsewhere. Apparently due to covid they are not delivering on time. I received all furniture in pieces and finally ended up canceling one bedroom set and a recliner. I dropped 15k and I am still waiting on part of my refund. Disappointed to say the least! I ordered in August 2020 and did a partial cancellation for items never received in October 2020. Hopefully I get my refund quickly.

This was the most pleasant shopping experience I've ever had in a competitive retail setting. My husband and I have different, but not opposite, tastes which led us to visit 6 major furniture stores before stopping at Ashley, so we were worn down by sales pitches and pushy salespeople. We met Kyle at the Sugar Land store and he completely turned our entire experience around within the first few minutes. He was friendly, very well-informed about the Ashley products, showed us exactly what we were looking for and some similar sets close to our taste and budget, and he even did the math on percentages for the current ongoing sale! (That's huge for me, I don't math.) He went above and beyond, without being pushy, rude, or impatient with me and my husband, and when we wanted to take the evening to think about it, he completely understood and didn't pressure us into buying something right away. I saw a couple of dining sets at competing stores that I liked that were more affordable, but it's the 5-star service that we received from Kyle at the Sugar Land location that made up our minds. We truly appreciate his friendly, patient demeanor, and we're so happy to own great quality furniture made by Ashley.

Ashley furniture has terrible customer service. The first red flag was when we finally decided on what piece of furniture we wanted. We went to find the salesman that was helping us and he was no where to be found. After looking through the store for a while we finally found him hiding in the mattress section talking on the phone with a friend. We should have just went to another salesman, but that was our mistake. Then when we paid in full that day, the salesman told us we would have to wait over a month and a half to receive our furniture due to the coronavirus. That is understandable so we were not disappointed about that. The real disappointment came when 48 hours prior to the original scheduled delivery, we never received a confirmation. So the day before delivery I called several times and was on hold for 45 minutes and hung up on, 30 minutes and no answer, and another 30 minutes and no answer. So I knew we were not receiving our furniture as scheduled. Luckily I was smart and went to work that day instead of wasting a day off. On the actual original scheduled delivery date, it took 3 more tries before someone finally answered just to tell me they do not service my area and to try a number that would not answer. When I finally got the correct person they told us the merchandise was backordered and was surprised no one informed us. They did confirm that our merchandise was finally in stock and to choose a new scheduled delivery date. We did that with the wrongful assumption that we were finally in the clear. Then the day came for the 48 hour confirmation for the next scheduled delivery date and no confirmation text came through. Again I called to find out what is going on. I talked to someone on the first try after 30 minutes on hold and was informed that she did see where we confirmed our new delivery date but the system did not update to show the newly picked delivery date. She said she was going to contact the distribution center to make sure we still get our merchandise on the newly selected delivery date and to expect a confirmation text around 3-4 PM to confirm the 3 hour delivery window. Well 5:30PM came and no text. So I called again and after another 30 minutes on hold, we were told that there was no sign that I talked to anyone about the newly scheduled delivery date. So apparently our scheduled delivery got cancelled by someone. The woman told me there was no availability until the end of the week now. When asked for a confirmation email to prove that our delivery will be here when they say, she told me they cannot do that. So we are now left to take their "word" that we will receive the merchandise on the 3rd selected delivery date. This is getting to be an embarrassment having to tell my boss that I may or may not be in to work on a certain day because I do not know whether or not Ashley furniture will keep their "word".

Kyle, our salesman, was very informative. I found the furniture we liked online. He was able to allow us to check it out when we visited the store, provided all the information we needed to make an informed decision, snd was able to get us the best offer for it. We love the furniture and the price. Can’t wait to see it in our new home!

Kyle was fantastic! Explained the pros and cons of the different mattresses and got me taken care of with everything I needed for a great price. Highly recommend!

We went to Ashley looking for a new mattress. Kyle helped us an lied about everything he is incompetent an the worst at his job I well never do business with this store in my life again an to top it all they don't have a corporate office to file a complaint I am very disappointed. Please don't do business with this store!!!

This is my second time making a purchase at the Sugarland location. Kyle was a pleasure to work with. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction and made recommendations based on what I was looking for. I will continue to buy from this location.

Farukh with Ashley Furniture Sugar land was the perfect gentleman and sales man. I walked in and headed straight for kids department. I started looking at kids furniture and he approached me and asked if I needed any help. I started asking questions and he assisted me with finding perfect furniture for my daughters. He made me feel right at home by getting a cold bottle of water and pulling the chair out for me to sit down at the table to discuss options. He was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk too. I came back the following day to finalize purchase and he came to store on his off day to assist me.

Great store! Our representative Sabiel was awesome, super informative and straightforward. We were unsure about purchasing but he made it simple, easy and unstressful.

I recently bought a dresser, 5-drawer chest, mirror, two 2-drawer nightstands, and a 5 year protection plan. Upon delivery, I was texted by a number asking to select which day I wanted my delivery. I was given 3 options: Saturday (9/19), Tuesday (9/22), or Wednesday (9/23). I chose Tuesday due to my work schedule, however, I received an automated call the next day asking me to verify my delivery for Saturday (9/19). I tried calling over and over to get a hold of someone and no one ever answered. So I rearranged my work schedule in order to be home to receive my delivery. The delivery guys were amazing. In and out without any problems. They told me that I had 72 hours to call and make a claim if anything was messed up, which things were. A corner of the drawer on the dresser is cracked and three of the drawers do not close flush with the others. I called multiple times the next day, Sunday (9/20), no answer. I called Monday (9/21), no answer. I was getting closer to my 72 hour gap so I decided to drive up to Ashely Furniture. I told them what was going on and the guy who helped me told me to put my name on a call list because his supervisor wasn’t in. He said I should expect a call on Tuesday afternoon (9/22). I asked what do to if I don’t receive a call and he told me to come back up to the store. I never got a call so I went up there again, today. When I got there, I explained to another guy what the situation was and he told me that their system was down which was why I didn’t receive a call and that as long as my name and number is on a piece of paper I should be getting a call soon. I am furious at the fact that I spent a good amount of money on my furniture and once I inspected my furniture some things were wrong. I am very disappointed with the customer service and will no longer be shopping at Ashely Furniture.

Easy transaction, clear and transparent regarding fees, delivery time (during covid) and no BS. Felix was a pro in every way. Not pushy, knowledgeable, and quick service. Update (7/5/21): I filed a complaint for a faulty frame and upholstery on furniture I purchased and have had in my home 7 months on 2 pieces and 4 months on a third piece. The customer care team contacted me to let me know they would have the frame repaired but that they do not cover any upholstery for any reason. I purchased the 5 year protection plan as well and asked the representative about using it even though I felt that was absurd on a piece of furniture within the original warranty period. The store location where I purchased the furniture sold me an extended warranty on the furniture and lead me to believe it was a no questions asked, we'll replace the whole thing for any reason. It turns out that coverage is through a 3rd party and they determine if the product is covered or not. I spoke to the initial representative who was less than useless, just reading a script for why she can't help me. I asked for a manager, who she pushed back on connecting me to. The manager, Bridgett (she would not give me an ID number, last name/initial) behaved in the same way. When I asked who her boss was, she refused to tell me, claiming she was the highest possible authority in the customer service area. After trying to explain that their definition of "normal wear and tear" is so broad as to exclude any possibility that they might have produced a bad batch of product and realizing she wasn't going to do anything to help me (she refused to put me in contact with anyone else at the company) I hung up and googled the corporate offices. Their automated system is essentially a feedback loop, trying to send me back to the same people. I've done business with Ashley several times and have not had this kind of issue, though their delivery service is garbage as well - nothing ever arrives anywhere close to when they quote you. Buyer beware - they do not stand behind their products once its in your home and won't even consider or discuss what qualifies as "normal" wear and tear.

Beware!!! This has been the worst furniture buying experience. I purchased A bedroom set in July, which was to be delivered at the end of August. I received a call that my items were on back order and would be delivered on September 4, 2020. I waited all day and no delivery. I called customer service and they said “oh that was a mistake your items will not be delivered until the 10th.” I waited all day on September 10, 2020. No delivery. I made several calls to customer service. 45 minutes to an hour wait time per call. Just to be told that I needed to speak to someone in their store. Another hour wait at the Ashley furniture store for the sales representative to confirm, they were unable to locate the items and were unsure when the items would be off back order. I asked for a refund, which was granted, but, would need to wait 7 to 10 business days before my credit card was refunded. After five business days, I contacted customer service and was informed that an additional ticket needed to be put onto my order so that I can receive a refund! Ashley furniture store Will instantly charge you for a purchase, but, has difficulties refunding your money when they can’t deliver a service or product. Spend your money elsewhere.

Ashley furniture is a non funny joke from the desk clerk, salesperson, management to the automated "aww we're so sorry about your experience blah blah blah email us at blah blah blah and we'll fix the problem" response after you leave a review. My wife and I purchased furniture June 6th and we have received 10 text messages allowing us to pick a delivery date only to receive a text the next day saying due to the unforeseen future of covid your delivery won't be delivered.... We'll call you. My wife left a review about our experience and then we got the we're so sorry speech/ reply, email us your order number and info we'll take a look at it! That was a month ago....still no call of furniture!! What a joke!

Updated 9/14/2020: this store is the worst thing ever. They owe me a refund that has not been refunded to my card in 2 weeks. After dozens of follow up with someone at the corporate office because the Sugar Land store is useless, they confirmed that part of the furniture I ordered is discontinued and no one bothered telling me this at the store. I went back to the store’s customer service desk requesting a refund and the unprofessional employee told me she checked and my item will deliver early October. I told her that’s not true as the item has been discontinued. She snaps at me and tells me “who is looking at the computer screen, her or myself?” I told her your computer is wrong so she calls someone and they confirm the furniture is discontinued. She tries to have me accept a partial delivery of the parts of the living room set that they still have and I insisted that either all or none. Then she told me she processed a refund but she doesn’t give refund receipt and I was suspicious of that but she said that’s the way it is. Now it has been 2 full weeks without getting the refund. I will be reporting this store to the BBB. Original post: They drop dead on you and forget you the second the credit card gets swiped. Good luck getting someone at the store answer the phone when you call to follow up on an order. Same experience when we ordered online as well and got the wrong item, we were unable to reach a human being calling the customer service line. Ashley, for what you charge for furniture, you need to hire enough customer service reps to talk to us after you collect our money!!

The staff was excellent and helped me. Both the branches ( sugarland and willow brook are excellent.)

Really enjoyed my visit tonight. I went in not sure what I wanted but with help from Bertha (Big Bertha) I walked out happy with my purchase. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: my furniture never came. They scheduled a delivery and no one showed up then they told me it was never coming and that they would refund my money. I am standing in the store 45 days later trying to get my money back and they are making me wait in line. So basically they will take your money and never give you the furniture and then refuse to refund your money. ASHLEY SUCKS!!!!! Bought some furniture today and the sales rep was great! He made it easy and seamless! I feel like the value and quality is really good as well. Thanks Ashley!! I will be back to buy more soon!

It has been a month since I left a review and over 2 months since we were told the refund check was going to be sent. Every time we call the representatives tell us to hold and hang up or we wait on the line for 40+ minutes. We speak to someone and they tell us they will call back and we receive nothing. We need to get an answer about what is happening. We can't believe such a big company that prides themselves on customer service is taking this long to give us answers. GO TO GALLERY FURNITURE INSTEAD. After the headache of dealing with this company we decided to go to Gallery Furniture and we had our furniture delivered 6 hours later. You pay a little more but with the guarantee that they will take care of you.

Went in with a plan to get a couch and the sales associate was very relaxed didn’t pressure me and gave me all the answers I needed. I hate feeling like I’m being hovered and on the flip side neglected so this was a great balance. I was able to sign up for financing in a few short moments and got a couch that fits me and my families need.

Go to the Sweetwater location for amazing, honest service! I worked with Bertha, who's was nothing but honest and upfront. I went to Rooms to go, Star, Bel, and Ashley honestly had the best choice for my style. Definitely would recommend

Today I visited Ashley Furniture Sugarland. Shadalon helped me pick out the perfect items to finish decorating my home! She was very patient with me and made plenty of suggestions. The selection, labor day sales, and customer service experience were exceptional. Many of the sevice associates offered assistance and greeted me throughout my time in the store. I'll be back in the future!

We have been looking for bedroom furniture for a couple of months. When we walked into Ashley Furniture store the first time we were met with smiles. Our salesman Calvin did a great job of answering questions and took his time with us. We were also looking at new mattresses. And Calvin was there heping the entire time. He gave us a great price and went over any promotions thoroughly. When we went back a few weeks later to get the furniture, we asked for Calvin's assistance again. He was helpful throughout the process, from answering more questions to the getting the financing complete. We ended up buying the complete bedroom set as well as the temperpedic mattress there. And he price matched with a competitor so we got an even better deal. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture.

At first I was greeted by a male who wasn’t so friendly or pleasant because I told him I was there to see an item online he told me that it was an online only item. Which was fine then I asked well do you have anything similar so I can get a feel before I make the only purchase he didn’t even try to help. Well I decided to walk around anyway and found a couch and a different salesman ended up walking by and he immediately asked if I needed help and I made my purchase with him. If it wasn’t for him I probably would have just left.

After my online experience was terrible, i decided to go in store. Was a completely different experience, but in a great way. Got exactly what i wanted, and the salesman was really nice and helpful (thanks Kyle!). Will be going back, and this time skipping the whole online thing.

I went into the location, was automatically greeted at the door, Christopher took the time to show, help, and explain every part of the transaction. Got the whole mattress experience, which blew us away. An absolute great experience, the store was super clean, everyone was wearing masks and staying 6’ apart. I gave this 3 stars because I found the bedroom set that I have been looking for. Unfortunately, I had to research everything about it online because I received no assistance when I visited the Sugar Land store on yesterday. I spent about 30-40 minutes just trying to find the name of the bedroom set since it was not prominently displayed. (Until I made some sign adjustments) Hopefully, I can get better customer service online than I received in store.

My wife and I went to the Ashley Sugar Land store yesterday to take a look at living room furniture and ended up buying a sofa and love seat before we left the store. The sales person, Sadiel, was knowledgeable, efficient and very polite. We were pleased with the experience.

I ordered several sets for my home in June and have stayed home for three delivery dates over the last 3 months for which they never showed. Finally, they told me the delivery might be in October or later. When I cancelled the order in store, they failed to process the paperwork or refund after 2 separate visits and their service hotline. Ridiculous.

I made a visit to the Sugarland store recently and was really happy with the selection of furniture they had. I met a really nice salesman named Yoda who took really great care of me. During the sales process we laughed and talked like friends and he never tried to push anything on me that I didn't want. I will definitely be back to purchase more when needed.

I came in looking for a new kitchen table. They had a variety to choose from, and the staff was very nice! I found a table that I know Im going to love, and cant wait for it to get delivered!

I visited the store today. The service was excellent.

I ordered I lounge chair 3 months ago and still have not recvd my furniture. I finally receive a text that my furniture is going to be delivered and it has a different address. I have called numerous of times and no one EVER answers. Finally went to store to update it and it is to be delivered today. I have not received a call confirming deliver as I was told I would.

We bought a master bedroom set and living room set and were pleased with the pricing and service we received. Very friendly atmosphere and the sales staff was detail oriented. We will definitely be returning customers to purchase a second bedroom set and table for our breakfast nook.
