The bed is what I picked out, however, once it got here it looks relatively cheaply made. Wish I had gone with something else. Also, my bed was set up but slats weren’t delivered for the bed which renders it unusable until I get slats as they are required or the mattress cannot go onto the bed. If I had to rate my overall experience it would be a 1/5. Delivery drivers were super kind and helpful but not having all the pieces for a bed I’m paying $4000 for is a bit annoying and seeing the bed separate and not all made up like in store shows how truly cheaply it’s made. Definitely wouldn’t go this route again. I expected everything to be delivered all at once. Talked to my salesman and he stated he could bring a board to place onto the bed but that’s not how it was suppose to be and he also stated he’s with a client, mind you I’ve waited all day for delivery bc you are given hours you have to sit and wait, now I’m still sitting and waiting and hoping whatever he brings actually works and doesn’t end up breaking my bed all together. Not a pleasant experience, I’m definitely unhappy at this point.
Jake and both Sales Managers who assisted with my purchase today were AMAZING- I took home my dream living room set!!!
Don’t waste your time or money. The sales staff, including the Sales Manager, will say anything to make a sale, making you think you can trust them because of their title. Don’t believe a single word. When something goes wrong and you end up with exactly what you didn’t want, they’ll deny responsibility and claim they recommended something else. They refuse to help with returns or exchanges because it supposedly affects their paychecks. Every employee I dealt with was dishonest and unhelpful. Don’t bother trying to reach the General Manager either—he’s never available and won’t return calls. Their claims about caring for customers and wanting repeat business are nothing but lies.
**update** it gets worse Called and talked to “Luis” who claims to be store manager and advised my delivery is not coming tomorrow as last postponed but for a week out and there isn’t anything anyone can do about it because of some automated system. He has no control over and can’t help me with. Even laughed about it. THE WORST And the BS response below is also their automated system putting you throughout the same automated ringer of worthlessness. Not even one star. Two weeks later waiting on furniture that was supposed to deliver in 1-2 days and can’t get a live person to help understand how the hell the delivery appointment keeps getting pushed out. Sales rep says he will follow up and either doesn’t or gives wrong info. How are they selling furniture that’s on back order with promise of delivery in 1-2 days?
My experience was a pleasant one. I knew what I wanted when I walked in the store and I was immediately able to purchase it. My sales representative was very helpful and informative and I will definitely continue to shop at Ashley‘s.

The sales associate Leo was absolutely amazing. I actually felt heard and he wasn't trying to just sale me. He made me feel like I had several choices, with no pressure to purchase.
When filling out paperwork for purchase. Asked about old furniture pick up and take away. Told by sales agent the store does not but they personally have a person that will do it for free. After several attempts to contact agent the agent confirmed pick up and takeaway of old furniture. A day before pick up and takeaway of furniture agent tells us person they mentioned to pick up furniture will not pick up. After some back and forth communication it came to the agent giving our number to a 3rd party who would charge for removal and disposal of old furniture. We did not authorize giving out our phone # to 3rd party for this process. In the end we did it ourself. Point being please inform your sales agents not to say they will do a service that they cannot honor.
When in to furnish the new house with a couch and was in and out in about 30 minutes, couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We’ll finally after a long 15 month build of our retirement home we were able to buy furniture. In anticipation of this I started my search early in attempt to find exactly what we wanted, find the best deals, not comprise on quality or style. I started the search in early February that’s when I met Leo with Ashley Home in Temple. I can’t believe that he was so incredible to keep in touch with me for over 8 months, he provided me with times when sales were taking place and was so kind to give my husband and I time while we finished our build. But, I have to say I believe today we were the most impressed Leo’s insight on furniture products was “over the top” his level of detail and knowledge was amazing. Additionally, his GM was very nice he introduced himself and ensured we were being well taken care of even offered me some “fancy water” ! We highly recommend Leo and Ashley Home and believe you will absolutely enjoy the experience and service you receive!! Thank you Ashley home for hiring professionals like Leo !!!!!
(Translated by Google) My experience is terrible, this is the time I am waiting for the parts of the bed that I bought, I went to the store and there was a bed on display with 6 drawers and I bought the same one on August 28/2024, then they sent me one with only two drawers and the manager named Jacob from the Temple Texas store 4105 S General Brice Drive, told me before I complained that the fact that something is on display to show the customer does not mean that it is the same as what one buys!!! What answer is this, is it false advertising? If I wanted the one with 6 drawers I had to pay 500 dollars more, I paid what was stated in the price of the bed, here I am waiting for them to send me at least what I did not buy because I cannot return the bed according to that man. I'm still sleeping on the floor waiting for a response from the manager and the warehouse and no one answers me. What a terrible service. Besides, they have already made two failed shipments of wrong parts of the bed, it is a terrible warehouse, I do not recommend it. 09-17-2024 and they are going to send me the same error and I still don't have my full bed, the manager doesn't answer or solve anything for me. Our family was impacted by Tornado that hit Bell county. We went into Ashley’s to replace some of the furniture we loss and and that’s when we met Leo. We were there on a mission and knew what we wanted. Justin answered all our questions and although they didn't have the couch we were looking for in store he quickly helped us order it. Most of the time the delivery of furniture arrived on time. I bought a rug 4/22/24. The wrong rug was delivered because the rug on display had a wrong tag. Today, 7/25/24 the rug was delivered. The rug appears to be correct I haven't opened it because I have a house full of family visiting. Bottom line do not buy rugs from Ashley. Sam's Club and other stores have rugs you can buy and take home the same day and they are probably cheaper. I will only buy furniture from Ashley after this mess up.
Never shop at Ashley's in Temple! We had spent over 3,000 dollars in one visit at Ashley's. One of the things we got were a pillow. When the furniture was delivered, they had claimed that it wasn't their job to put the items together, that it was the other delivery crew coming in a couple of days job to do. Even though we had paid the extra money for the full service. When the other crew showed up they refused to do their job. They were rude as hell to me. Through all of this my pillow was never delivered. We have been trying to get a refund since early June. They have done nothing but give us the run around. Charles the supervisor there, is completely incompetent. Probably some of the most unprofessional people I have ever worked with. I will never shop there again. I I will always encourage everyone to go elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would . Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We should have known better than to go to Ashely but we needed furniture asap after the Tornado. The issue started with delivery. The drivers were unprofessional and refused to put a bed together because it wasn’t their job. When I texted the salesperson Leo and told them they were refusing to build the bed he just replied with an Lol. I found the delivery number my self since he was no help . After a call with their delivery manager they came back and built it. That was a very awkward moment for everyone. After waiting 1.5 months for a $200 pillow we called and asked for a refund. We spoke to Dustin who claimed to be manager, he said he would call with an update and I Never received a call and has been dodging my calls ever since. Many calls later I finally got a hold of Jacob who said he would send my information to corporate office and get the refund started. After a call with corp office we found out Jacob failed to do his job. Corporate has sent Temple store two emails and a call and they are not responding . Here we are with no resolution.

Charles was very helpful, welcoming, and efficient! UPDATE: Though the purchase process was painless... we will be without a couch for nearly a month because they just randomly decided to close deliveries on the day they scheduled to deliver it. And they only informed us the day before. Obviously, they want customers money but don't care when they get the product to the customer.

Upon arriving to the store we were immediately greeted at the door by Justin. Didn’t have to go around looking for anyone so that was a plus. Another satisfied customer. On 6/29/24, I came here looking for a dining room set and left with the best customer service hands down. Charles Kenneaster greeted me immediately when walking through the door and from that moment on he provided top notch service. He was friendly, engaging, helpful and very knowledgeable in his work. These people are ridiculous. They don’t know anything and aren’t helpful. You apparently have to be approved to order online from them which is absolutely ridiculous. We asked the lady how we are supposed to get approved and she didn’t even know. Will never order from this place.

Jake and Jacob lied and deceived a little girl. My daughter wanted an adjust base that massages. She has to be in bed for a post surgery coming up. . They sold her one for a 1000 and told her it had massaging features. The one they sent was no different than the one she looked at at mattress firm that came free with the mattress. Called them and asked them to fix it. They refused to help her

I'm reading through all these accolades of the sales staff at the Temple Ashley Furniture store. This Memorial Day, those sales people must have had the day off. The ones we saw were hovered at the front door and unless you broke into their conversation, you got a "Howdy" and that's it. My wife saw a lamp that interested her and, as usual, it was located at the very top row of the display wall, so she asked how much it was. The sales person lumbered over, took a photo of it and said (without showing the photo), "It's $199" so my wife dismissed her need for it. Later that evening she was looking in Ashley's website and that lamp that the sales person said was $199, was regular price $89. Retail sales is hard, I know from experience, but you can't sell sitting around in a group back-slapping conversation of the staff. They will survive without us in their way again.

Seemed like a lot of run around too order a couch cushion. Talked to 4 people at 4 different places each person said cant help you need to call this person….. then last lady from Guest Response was rude and asked does she need to stay on the phone for us to make sure our order was complete, I said yes so I can make sure website worked to make payment to complete purchase.
Contacted the store for information on mattresses, and was greeted and helped by Jake. He was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service.
Please for the love of all that is holy do not shop here. It's a scam. I bought furniture at the beginning of April, was told I would have delivery 10 days later, and I still haven't received my correct order. They've delivered wrong pieces to my house, they've driven by and said we weren't home (even though we took the day off to be home, they showed up at 10pm, triggered my ring from the road, then drove off saying they knocked and we weren't home), and nobody answers their phones so it's virtually impossible to get a human to help (and if you do happen to press the right magical set of numbers on their automated assistant to get a human, they say they are sorry and they'll look into it). All these people are supposed to do is sell and deliver furniture. Clearly this is too challenging for them. Again, I am trying to save you, the person reading this, from the pain and misery of dealing with this place which is a void of anything resembling competence and good business practices. Don't do it... find somewhere else. Anywhere
I had a delightful time shopping for furniture. Jacob was fun to work with and was great help. When I need to buy again, I will absolutely come see Jacob again.

It was fine in the beginning. They really wanted to the help. It seemed that way at least, but it turned out. All they wanted to do is get my cash. They screwed up the order. It was $200 over what the original was. They added on things that they said they weren't going to add-on. It was a terrible experience. I'll never shop there again. As a matter of fact, I was going to surprised my wife with $700 more Purchase.. As soon as I got the receipt, it saw how terrible it was that they were cheating me. And then they wouldn't give me a refund and make me wait for Refund Even though I paid in cash you're gonna send me a check. I'll never do any business with them again.

Leo was great! Gave us all the information we needed prior to purchasing a lift chair for dad.
At the beginning it was great dealing with Justin. But that would change. Ordered a whole house full of furniture $8,000 and we did this a month early to be sure it would be delivered as the house was empty. Justin said he would personally guarantee it would be delivered on the day we picked. Well he could not guarantee anything and his backup Leo did no better being the store manager. The date was changed and the only excuse Leo could give was a big sale over the weekend and that stuff needed to be delivered and moved the furniture I bought to the end of the line and our house being empty. I asked Justin that if he could atleast get me a bed to sleep on and he assured me if nothing else they could get something from the floor to help me out. So as you know this never happened either nothing they said ever happened. We will try to get it there Thursday afternoon, how does Friday morning work for you, he things changed does Friday evening work, so now it’s Saturday morning because we asked if they could deliver early as I have to pick my wife up at the airport. Guess what they said … no problem Saturday morning it is… nope they showed up at 3:30 and my wife had to get an Uber ride from Dallas to temple. Give me that money back Ashley’s. So story short furniture was great but the noses on the salesmen are huge. Stay clear of this place. And please please store manager respond tell some more lies.

We really got a good steal for what we got… needed a shelf or two or something to store yarn and craft items in, and left with a new desk and chair as well as two matching shelves that organize the yarn and other craft items beautifully.
Had an amazing experience. Nobody is too pushy. Very polite and attentive staff. Leo helped me out on two occasions. Did a stellar job. Highly recommend going to the Temple location. Big inventory. All around was a great place to go for my furniture needs.

What we originally thought was exceptional service ultimately turned out to be a nightmare. We were totally swindled. We originally were needing a bigger mattress for our preteen and decided to give him our mattress and get a bigger mattress for us. We were talked into getting a $3500 mattress with the promise of getting a huge discount on the bed frame. Then it turned into “you pay for the bed frame too an additional $1500 and I’ll throw in a free couch.” We picked out a couch and it was “too much.” We then found a couch he would ultimately “discount” but it was not free (not even close). He took all our info and we paid. When delivery came, the chaise was on the wrong side and blocks our fireplace. They will not swap it out and we’ve even told them we would pay whatever we just want it resolved. It’s been months that we have been struggling along only to be avoid and blamed. We could have just bought a cheap Ashley sleep mattress for $800 and been perfectly happy. He got his commission on our $6500 expense. SAD!! STRONGLY CONSIDER SHOPPING ELSEWHERE!

I purchased furniture for my new house at the end of October 2023, the sales associate added chairs to my purchase that I didn’t want and I paid for them, after I reviewed the order I immediately made him aware that I didn’t want those chairs, he stated that I would just receive a refund, when my furniture was delivered they delivered those chairs so I called Ashleys customer service and she told me to refuse the chairs which I did, and till this day have not received my refund, I saw the store manager as well as the store associate a week ago and they said they would call me with the status of my refund; still no call, I called the customer service number and they said the supervisor has to call you, so in the meantime I called the store and asked to speak to the manager which of course I was told he was in a “conference” call and couldn’t take my call so the associate said for me to call him back in 30 minutes, I said no I want him to call me back and he refused and said no you have to call him back and when I asked who I was speaking to he refused to give me his name and said he was under no obligation to give me his name; so at this point I don’t even know who I am speaking to and he again said “you want to speak to him you have to call him back” and he hung up on me after of course he said “have a nice day” very disappointed he was very rude; my 2 daughters and I have bought furniture from Ashleys in less then 6 months to furnish our homes, and so now I have no chairs and no still no money. Buyers beware, when paying review the invoice before actually paying otherwise you most likely won’t see that money. And my daughter also had this happen just a week ago, same sales associate. He added a piece of furniture that they specifically told him that they didn’t want and they paid for it; now they’re waiting for their refund too.

I went to Ashley Furniture on November 6, 2023. I told the Rep I wanted to buy the Furniture out right and I would finance the mattress and box box spring. He put it all on financing and I had to put $1799.95 down. I WAS upset because now after 2 months and 4 delivies later I still do not have the bed! Not to mention they tried to deliver it to a neighbor down the street. I will be contacting the Atty. Generals office first thing Tuesday. I didn't know this at the time but if you do go there to buy furniture do not accept delivery if anything is not correct with the order. They ordered sleigh bed rails and I didn't not order a sleigh bed. All 4 deliveries have been with sleigh rails. The only reason I gave them a 1 was because how fast they managed to get my 💰. I have nothing good to say about Ashley and will never go back to them. Spoke with Manager and Christopher 3 times at the Temple location. The manager rolled his eyes several times. Besides I already paid the loan on furniture and this is how we get treated. Sad really. I could had been a long standing client but oh well.
The only reason I’m giving one star is because the store manage, Justin was very professional and apologetic. The District Manager, Dustin Stills was extremely unprofessional and unwilling to help solve the issue we had. We ordered a desk and printer table on a Tuesday, paid the full amount (over $700), and set up the delivery for Friday. We were supposed to get a phone call the next day to get a delivery time window, but never received a call. I called the customer service number on Thursday at noon and was told that the item was listed as on Layaway because the salesman did not upload all of the paperwork that we filled out and that there was nothing they could do to change that even though we paid the entire amount of the item. I asked to talk to someone at the store, but was told they could not transfer me to the store and that they would put a request in for someone from that location to call me back in a few hours. At 4pm I still had not received a call from the store so I called the customer service number again. This time they told me that the order had been cancelled and that it would take 24-48 hours for someone to call me back from the store. At this point they already charged me for the item, and couldn’t give me a refund over the phone, I would have to go directly to the store to solve the issue. I go to the store that same evening (Thursday) to figure out what the heck is going on. The manager, Justin, was very apologetic and explained that the salesman was at fault for not uploading the proper paperwork and that their system automatically changes the transaction to a layaway item until the paperwork is filed. I explained that due to my schedule, Friday was the only day I could receive the item I purchased. That’s when Dustin, the District Manager who never identified who he was, walked up, grabbed the paperwork and said “this transaction isn’t going to work out, it’s impossible to get next day delivery, you need to go somewhere else”. Then walks away. No apology that their salesman is the one who caused me to have to drive back to the store to figure out the issue, no understanding or willingness to even try to help solve the issue, and absolutely no customer service skills. He was very rude and unprofessional. Justin apologized multiple times for his District Managers attitude and lack of help with the situation. I have contacted corporate to file a complaint against the district manager, but I don’t have high hopes that this company will do anything about it. Steer clear of Ashley Furniture Store. If you ever have any issues it’s like pulling teeth to get help. Will not be spending my money there anymore

Absolute gaslighting and disrespect from this store. The manager got told several times that we didn't want a chair anymore and to cancel the order before it was even delivered but claimed he was never told this. He kept telling me how "hard it is" to return batteries and wouldn't give instructions on how to complete the return until I asked him several times how to return the chair. It left the entire family incredibly upset. Left my 90 year old grandmother beside herself (the customer). He never stuck by his word. He never did was he said he was going to do and gaslit every single one of us (we had to get several family members involved) and tried to make US feel like the horrible people. He kept talking over me and wouldn't let me tell him what we really needed. Damien Johnson was a perfect gentleman the entire time but the manager or managers (can't even tell how many there were because of all the twisted hustling going on) should be ashamed at how they treat their customers. Absolutely shameful. I've never seen anything like this.

I will never get furniture from Ashley’s furniture ever again. They advertised one thing on the show room floor and delivered something that was terrible in quality and completely different. Store manager refused to resolve the issue after I spoke with their GRT(Guess Response Team)in which he referred me to. The GRT said he only needed to send them the correct item numbers because they(Ashley’s furniture sales associate) ordered the incorrectly items and once that was done they could get me the correct items. Manager refuses to make it right. Ridiculous customer service. WARNING: Regardless of the sales advertised don’t do it!!

Beware of the sales staff. You will not get what you are ordering on the show floor. They will input a similar item number that varies by a letter or two for an item (s) much cheaper. Verify everything before accepting and receiving anything. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and heartburn just don’t come here. Very dismissive staff are unwilling to acknowledge a mistake they may have made. As a customer, one should feel they can trust the persons they are dealing with (if it were their hard-earned money, they too would want to get what they were shown and paying for). To anyone thinking of buying from here, please do not buy from here. I do not recommend it to anyone. To my active duty, retired services members, and all veterans spare yourself and don’t spend your hard-earned money here.
They tried to hard and were to pushy to get us to purchase. We set our limit of $5,000.00 and the sale they had on a full set fell into that budget and they were ok with it. It actually fell a little under $5,000.00 with taxes included. But when we were there they said delivery was Free. But apparently they charged it. When I asked why it when up so much they just said the taxes. On the front bill it says $0 for delivery so I believed them. Until now I see the back they charged me delivery fee for almost $500.00. UPDATE: Less than 2 years and they already ripped. They claimed to be 100% leather but they lied... 5k on a set that have lasted me less than the cheaper sofas at big lot's... Don't recommend buying here unless you have no kids!!
Update: I received the wrong hardware after 8 business days, customer service is the worst ever, now they’re saying that I need to send them pictures of an Nonexistent barcode in order for them to know what bed is it…and I’m telling them what bed is it! and they refused to accept the bed back!!!! This is a fraudulent transaction and no one is willing help me!!! I asked to talk to a supervisor and the person in the phone said there’s no supervisor!!!! I bought a bed and it came without the hardware to attach all the parts together…after 5 business days I’m still waiting and they are not able to give me a tracking number to check when I’m supposed to receive it…how in the world you sell a bed without the hardware to put it together!!! Unbelievable…worst customer service ever, every time I try to contact them they replied asking for a picture of the tag with the vin number…I DONT HAVE THE TAG AND NEITHER THE HARDWARE!!! Come on Ashley…you can do better than this!
The worst shopping experience and will never buy furniture there again. The initial sales person had no interest to help , then the assistant manager was better. Then my delivery was pushed to 2 weeks out. For all my inconvenience I was give a $100 refund! Worst service ever! Went to the store before deliver to inquire about my order and all staff were sitting around including the manager! No interest to help! All of them were staring at their laptop! Wife and I went in to buy a new couch for our new home. Staff were very nice and extremely helpful, we thought we were in good hands. We found a couch we liked but had wished it was sold as a sectional. The staff member expressed that it was indeed sold as a sectional and then looked it up on his computer to show us. We told him that was what we wanted and proceeded with the order. There were two different colors "white and gray" so we told him over and over that the white one was exactly what we wanted; since we had walked in he knew we wanted a white couch. Everything was done and we left the store happy that we had found a couch. The next day I went back in to order a tv stand we had found online the night before, ordered it and the sales rep told me it would be delivered the same day as the couch... haha ok.... But I believed him. Fast forward a week and we have set up all the deliveries and everything is coming together, we are very excited to have our new home finally feel like home. Delivery arrived and the guys start bringing stuff in. The main worker reads off what is being deliver... no TV stand.. of course not. So I call the store and they tell me "oh no it's going to be another week for the TV stand" oh well it's whatever. They start unpacking the couch and of course it's the gray color not the white. My wife immediately calls the store and requests to speak to a manager, after being on hold for 5-10 minutes. He expresses that there has been several miss orders by this staff and that he will get it expedited and delivered in a few days, so we say ok and hope that it's true. So the guys pack it up and leave the house. The next morning I get a text from Ashley to schedule a delivery within the next few days.. GREAT!! It worked so I do it and it seems like it worked. Well in a few hours I get a call that I need to schedule my couch delivery and it won't be for another 2 weeks.. c'mon... I told them about the text I got and they say there is no history of that being no scheduled HOWEVER they can get it in two days but it'll just be a few pieces... the other pieces are in back order.... So we call the store back and tell the manager to just cancel it because we cannot wait that long.... Later that day we go to Bob Mills furniture in Temple and order a couch to be ready in a few days. Ashley is very unprofessional and only cares about their staff members. Their manager told my wife that he likes to give time for his staff to correct their mistakes... I don't think that's how a sales industry works my guy. HIGHLY do not recommend walking into this store. If you really want Ashley furniture drive to another one... you'll be very disappointed at Ashley in Temple, Tx.
I have edited my original review. I purchased a dining table & chairs, that were confirmed as in stock. When I was never called with a delivery time I called the store and was told my order was delayed and I would get a call back with reason why. No call back. Went to store and again, told it was delayed, but they didn't know why. I asked for the floor model, but was told they could not sale the floor model, but would see if they could source one from another warehouse, and they would call me. No call again. BEWARE! NO SERVICE AFTER SALE! Purchased on 12/6, was to be delivered on 12/11, and now delayed until 12/30??
The experience was great from start to finish. Our salesman was great and listened to us about what we wanted and needed. While delivery took longer than their normal wait time it was expected with Black Friday all November long and bought right before Thanksgiving. Our notifications for delivery set date set up and our three hr window was so easy. Our delivery men were professional and so quick. I will definitely be going back when we are ready to get our couch.
So, I bought some furniture from Ashley's in Temple. When I was talking to the sales rep I specifically told him I need assbly and delivery after 4pm, he responded without making eye contact oh yeah they will call you. I waited for someone to call me. I called customer services. Mr. Ruben I barley understand what he was saying "they call you". Never received a phone call. Recommendation they need some training in customer service. A better system to accommodate a customer.

I do not recommend coming to Ashley. Last November 2, I made a purchase that was supposed to be 3575 and now they are charging 4393. They are charging me for a guarantee and shipping that was supposed to be free. They are a damn scam. Don't buy here.
The sales person was helpful in my wife and I picking the furniture for our den. Was very sufficient with paper work. It all went as well as one could expect.
The furniture came very dirty and they have to send someone out to clean it. It was not protected in transport. They put dirty straps on cream colored furniture. Also they forgot some pillows for the couch. Then when I called the store to discuss I was rushed off the phone. Not happy at ALL.

Tried to return the box springs immediately after delivery and there was no process. Called 3 numbers and went in person. NO ONE knew how to help me. Im flabbergasted that I could spend so much money and want to return the cheapest thing I bought and no one could help me so this could be an overall positive experience. In-store Service was good except I was not told I was applying for a credit card when I did the "pay in 6 months." I did not want a credit card. At delivery, the third-party delivery tightened a knob too much so that it was sheared when I first opened the door. No big deal except I had to tell Ashley's third party maintenance service three times what happened and I had to keep sending photos of the broken knob. The fix for my knob could not be scheduled for two months. About six weeks in, another knob was mailed to me. Fine. I replaced the knob, but there was no way to talk to a person to cancel the maintenance call. On the scheduled day, a live person called and I canceled. I felt bad for whoever was on the road. My second payment was rejected but the email could not tell me why. By the time I knew my payment was rejected, I had to pay a $30 late charge. Enough. I paid off the purchase and cancelled the card. I am not going back to Ashley. Very disappointed.

Beware people! One, we are done with Ashley Furniture, this location. Secondly, we are done with Ashley period. Their poor customer service and dishonest work ethic is fitting for the downfall of this new America we live in. They do not take stuff back for refund, be it still new, box or no box. Therefore all sales are final. The sales people at this location will lie to your face strictly for the purpose of their commission. We've had an account for years. We will now close it for good.

Disappointed! I went in on a Sunday and ordered and bought a dresser and 2 end tables and was assured by Jacob from the Temple store that my furniture would be delivered on Wednesday because of an open house I was having, I wanted my furniture delivered before Wednesday and all he could do was Wednesday morning. I was fine with that. I text him (with number provided by him) to check status of my delivery on Wednesday as it was getting later in the day and I have not heard from Ashley's delivery department; and his response, was "The notes say you haven't filled out the link I sent" by then I was in disbelief and called just to find out my order was scheduled to be delivered on a Saturday at the end of the week. I am disappointed in the customer service and in Jacob. I texted him to let him know and his response, "I'll cancel your order" NO, I already did! As much as a person spends on furniture at a furniture store, you would think Customer Service would be outstanding! I cancelled my order and will be going somewhere else. As mad as I am not even worth 1 star, but I had to chose a star so this review can get posted.

My fiancé and I had a great experience working with Ashley furniture staff to pick out our new furniture. The staff was well-informed on the products and helped guide us towards the right product. For us, that was furniture that our dogs wouldn’t destroy in a matter of days. They also worked with us on pricing. We’d definitely shop here again in the future.
The Gentleman that helped me find our couch and get set up with our payment plan was spectacular, very kind and patient while we browsed and weighed our options for over an hour before finding the perfect couch.
While couch shopping we expressed our concern for finding a couch for our very limited space. We found one that we thought would be small enough but turned out not to be. We got the delivery after 7pm and called the next morning when they opened to ask if we could exchange it. Not only exchange it but for one twice the price. The assistant manager, Leo, only complained that it would take money out of his check. We explained how it didn't fit our space, how we'd be spending double on a new one putting even MORE money in his pocket. This is also our second home. We will be getting a new place by December and need to furnish that place as well and have $$$ to spend and drop on not just a couch but the entire house, living room furniture, bedroom furniture for 2 rooms and a table for the kitchen. But none of that mattered. All that mattered was the $100 he'd lose off his check if we exchanged despite knowing he'd be getting a heck of a lot more coming. We called the number given by him and they said they'd approve the exchange as long as the manager gave them the thumbs up. However, they cared more about that $100 than making a ton more profit from our business. We had planned to buy the rest of the furniture needed when we made the exchange if it had been approved. Even though we don't need it until December we were going to go ahead and buy it to show good faith and put more money into Leo's pocket. But that $100 meant more to him than his customer. So, now, I'll be going to a different Ashley's and finishing my $6000 purchase and put money into THAT managers pocket instead.

We started with Levi, a new employee. He bent over backwards to get us what we wanted. We initially wanted a small kitchen table, and four chairs and a coffee table. After looking through the store some more, we found a different table and chairs that was on sale, and Levi tried very hard to help us get that table and chairs, however, management would not sell it without a server, which we did not want. We asked if we could take the gray chairs from the table on sale and put it with the smaller table that had black chairs and he again tried to do that, but was told no. We finally ended up buying the coffee table since we were unable to get the kitchen table and chairs we really wanted. Levi did work very hard and tried his best to sell us what we wanted and gave excellent customer service. Leo ended up selling us the coffee table on a different day and he was very friendly and kind. We were happy with our purchase of the coffee table, especially when we found out there was a 30% off sale going on that day! Everyone at the store was very kind and friendly
Looked around several furniture stores and found Ashley furniture to be the best in quality, pricing and variety. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy or upgrade furniture. I will definitely be going back again!

Amazing Customer Service! After months of searching we found something we loved! I just knew we were going to have to settle but DJ took his time and was very patient with us! I was excited to hear that it was a Christian based company and that they had so many charities they supported, especially children! I just loved everything about my experience today! UPDATE 10/13/23: Despite cancelling the order over a week ago, I’ve yet to receive a refund. Customer service tells me to contact the store, and the store tells me to contact customer service. Looks like I’ll have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Truly a shame they treat long time customers like this. ORIGINAL POST: Ordered furniture but received no correspondence regarding the delivery the day prior. When I called, they said my order status was “inactive.” Tried to get a refund but they magically couldn’t help me over the phone and made me drive all the way back to the store to deal with the order. This was clearly an inconvenience to the manager who was there today. TLDR: The positive reviews are misleading. If you actually want the furniture you order, shop somewhere else.

Great experience! Had roughly a hour to find and purchase a bedroom set, and they made it happen. Had my receipt , delivery date set and was on time for my next endeavor.
They took there time . They are over priced compared to Ashley in other states. Salesman attempts to give discount but not really, I recommend anyone that goes here asked for 30 to 40 % off the price from the beginning than pay tax and delivery fee.

I was told, several times, he was taking 25 percent off of my order and 60 months interest free. We discussed it Thoroughly, several times. He is the one that brought it up. He charged me full price, lying to me. I’m pissed and cancelling more order first thing in the morning. I do not like being lied to, and take advantage of. He intentionally and maliciously took advantage of me. I’m so angry. I honestly don’t want to ever do business with Ashley again. Go lie and screw someone else.

They had zero coustomer service..... delivery's scedualed with no support no one to contact and if anything goes wrong no way to fix it just go back to the line and wait some more.... 1800 bucks i tried to give them they didnt even act like they wanted it... We shall see what fits they throw when i ask for it back!.... Up date.... Wrong addresses and wrong phone number on my order. Sucked into waiting till today for my order.... Called the automated line....not even scheduled for delivery at all... Told from saturday to tues day promise lol it will be their.... Still nothing.... I work nights and sleep days.... Aint got time for this run around during my sleep hours... Promised a delivery Tuesday after apologies and discounts.... Its tuesday the 15 and my delivery wasn't even rescheduled yet. They tried to scedual my delivery on the 17th 2 days latter for a 4th time... I told them your out your mind.... If this was a ball game you'd be out already you had your 3 strikes... Im fairly shure my review will be buried under all Ashley's paid for 5 star reviews.... Im just hoping cancelling with these people dosent affect my credit report.... I dont care how many fake 5 stars you see.... Stay away if you dont want a head ache and a full blown 5 star run around as thats the only place your gona see 5 stars.... At the hassel it takes to fix anything when its gone wrong with these people... Dont know if this is an industry standard but im left feeling like i got mugged by a buy hear pay here car dealership and didnt even get the common courtesy of a reach around.

Salesman was not knowledgeable to answer all of our questions.. miss led us to think we were going get an extra discount on the clearance items, not by Jake but another sales person. It took 50 minutes for them to get into the computer to take my money and finish the sale. There was no manager in the building. If the item hadn’t already been picked up, I would have walked out on the sale!

The set up is weird. You can't purchase anything without signing up for their store, even if you already have a Ashley acct. Not to mention the way that we had to pay. My wife has informed me that we won't be going back...ever, so there it is.
I wish I could give them a 0 it’s been the worst experience I’ve ever had I’ve been paying on a bed for over 2 months and still haven’t received it. I’m furious they texted and said it would be delivered today and never show up. I do not recommend them. I will never shop here again.

Furniture was due to be delivered today, I only received the mattress. I did not receive any update or communication there would be a delay, so at this point, I have no furniture just a mattress. I have been on hold for 58 minutes to discuss this matter with a live agent supervisor. If I had been told there was a delay in advance I would have kept my current furniture. I was also told the adjustable base would be delivered on 7/7/23, it has now been pushed back to 7/11/23 also.

I am disappointed at the delivery performance. Our order was partially delivered without any prior notice of the shortage, nor was there update on any when the remaining furniture would be delivered. I go to the store where an associate gladly asks me how he could help me with a new furniture. Soon as i tell him that my order wasn't delivered he says that only 3 people in the world can access Ashley systems and he isn't one, and also that all of Ashley's systems are down so he cannot check anything. So I ask him back how he could have helped me with a new furniture buy he mentioned when he greeted me. He pointed at his supervisor and quietly walked away. The supervisor got very angry at how bad his company has performed and let me down and all that.. but basically ZERO help. I don't know when the rest of my furniture is going to be delivered. I don't think i will shop at Ashley again. May be I deserve this because i shopped there despite reading reviews on their abysmal delivery performance!!
If I could give zero stars I would. Honestly worst furniture store experience I've had. We are moving and just shopped at Conns and Furniture Row and Ashley's was our next stop. When we first came in, I ask a gentleman for help and he sent me to someone else for help. [Austyn] we had been in here the day before with Justin and he wasn't super professional but he at least gave us the time of day. Austin was trying but repeatedly kept saying he didn't know alot of answers because he was knew while the manager (only other person on the floor) was on his phone laughing. We waited for hours but the Manager sprung up to help another family because he knew them as friends. Then Austyn didn't have me fill out all the papers I needed to and we had to come back. He asked to come to my house to sign the papers which was WEIRD. Why ask to come to my home? If I didn't know they were a retail store I would feel like it's a scam because it was so unprofessional. Not only that but we were told it was in house financing and found out after we were done it's a credit card. After this couch is paid off we will not be coming back to this store again. Conns and Furniture Row treated us much better than this.
*Update (6/17) They were supposed to pickup the furniture today and no-showed. No communication explanation as to why. We placed our order in June of 2022 and are still having issues a year later. We were told to expect a delay of 6-10 weeks at most. They didn't deliver anything until 8 months later. Even then, we only received part of what we ordered. We waited a month for the rest of the items, only to find out they weren't coming. Depending on who we talked to: the order was entered incorrectly...a system error...let's put in another ticket. Over a dozen trips to the store and hours on the phone with customer service...and nothing. We ended up ordering the missing furniture from amazon (received it and setup at a fraction of the cost within 48 hours) and are now trying to return the bed frame which was delivered in the wrong size. Another two months of talking to customer service. We were given a pickup date of 6/1 which was a no-show, rescheduled for 6/3, then received the following text: "Our sincerest apologies, we are experiencing an unexpected major systems outage, unfortunately at this time, we cannot provide a new delivery date..." That was a week ago. Things we've learned: *The delivery dates given in store mean nothing. *Once the order is entered, reps in the store have zero control over your order. *Customer service has little to no control over your order. *Amazon and other retailers are faster, cheaper, and provide furniture at the same or higher quality with little to no hassle. Edit @ DB: I've tried texting and e-mailing with the contact information you've provided. No response from either.
Bought a mattress under the impression it was pure foam just to find out it has springs and coils. Also, the store went dark for over a week. Our mattress was late arriving and in person or online service absolutely atrocious. I will never purchase anything from Ashley. I will never enter that building again.
We went into Ashley Furniture to "just look" at some recliners. The young man who first approached us was pleasant and helpful in pointing us in the right direction. To be honest, we aren't sure what we are going to purchase yet. We take big purchases very seriously and we appreciated that we wasn't a "pushy" sales person.

I would not even give 1 star if i had a choice. My friend just moved back here from Germany so we went in there for her to look at some furniture. At first we had a great experience. The sales rep was very nice and accommodating ro what she was looking for. She was narrowing down which set she wanted and decided to go out to the car and grab her coffee. I told her id wait there. She went over to let the sales rep know. I couldn't here them at first but could see she was looking very confused so i went up to see what was going on. The sales rep was saying that she could not go out the front door but had to go all the way down to the service door to exit. I thought he was just messing with her at first. I quickly realized he was serious. He said it cost something like $100 each time the dooes opened and thats why he wanted us to go to the service dooe. Now ive worked in sales so i know quota mattersm. Thry probably do track number ofncustomers in versus sales, but you do not tell your customers that. I told him we are not doing that. We are going out thr front door like customers do. He proceeded to get mad and state fine you are costing me thisbmuch money. I told her we are laving and not coming back. I was a pit petty snd ernt in and out a few times just plbecause though. He lost a cash sale.

This has been a nightmare almost from the beginning, first off we did not like our mattress, nobody's fault, just was too firm. We tried to exchange the day after we got it and were told we had to keep it for 30 days. Fine, after 30 days of terrible sleep we were finally able to get an exchange approved, two months of bad sleep later I am still waiting on my new mattress, finally got a delivery date for today, I was told my mattress was at the warehouse but my new pillows had not arrived yet, would I like a partial delivery, I replied yes that would be great, supposed to arrive today, of course that didn't happen and now I'm being told today was just an estimated delivery and my items have not arrived yet. We'll yesterday I was told my mattress was there but not my pillows, now I'm being told nothing is there, so I'm not sure who is flat out lying to me and why, now I'm being told at least another 10 days of bad sleep for us on this terrible mattress that I don't want Customer Service left me on hold for 26 minutes waiting to talk to a supervisor today. I wish I could give a negative star rating, my experience with Ashley Furniture has been beyond terrible

Upon delivery a piece of our loveseat was missing. We were told they would get it set up for delivery as soon as the piece came in. We waited 5 weeks, nothing. Called the store, spoke to Leo. Leo said the piece was there and we could pick it up. We asked for delivery since in needed to be put together. He “put us on the books and we would hear from the delivery team”… Fast forward two weeks, still not a work from Ashley’s so we call again. Leave a message with no return call. We live 35 minutes from Temple so I decided to stop in one afternoon while in Temple. They suggested calling the Guest Response Team. Great. Did that and they mailed us the wrong piece. Called the store again. Asked for the manager Dustin to give us a call and STILL NO RETURN CALL! I have a graduation party scheduled for my child and it looks like we won’t have a complete living room set. I DO NOT recommend the Temple location for anything! This has been 4 months!

Customer service TERRIBLE. Cannot get thru on the phone, have to drive all the way back to store to talk to anyone, Spent over 3K delivered my bar stools and chairs, but NO TABLE!! Says it will be another week for it to show up. Still have not received my power loveseat and sofa. "Manager" Dustin said it would be delivered by a 3rd part,since it was a floor model, and I could pay them for delivery. Still not here and that was over a week ago. Called 10 times yesterday and 5 times this am. No answer and then hangs up!!! Call, push 1 for delivery, they say call store, no luck, well "I guess you will have to drive there" to talk to them.This store is the worst!!

Honestly frustrated, just bought a sectional and that same day the truck driver sliced the back of it , now a console has a rip on it after paying it totally off for almost 4,800 dollars them not caring about fixing our product or replacing it with a different one . If you plan on buying a Temperpedic (cooling) mattress, don't waste your money. It costs more than the regular temperpedic mattress for no reason. I say this because it's cool when you are trying it out in the store, but when you get it home and put on the mattress protector and fitted sheet, it does not feel any cooler than any other mattress. I was told that if I am not satisfied with my mattress, that I would be assisted in making things correct. However, I have had it less than a week and I've called the salesman and left texts and have gotten no assistance. should have known better. Do not waste your money, just get a regular temperpedic. Paying more for the cooling Temperpedic mattress is a waste of money. Also, there are Ashley furniture stores in almost every city these days, don't bother traveling to another city for better customer service, all the sales people are the same, their all there to make money of couse, at least you If you have any issues after you get your furniture, you won't have to drive back to another city if you have issues with it just to get help.

I regret the day I walked into this shop to buy my furniture, which btw, all made in China and not in the US as they claim. We bought a mattress and a couch and spent a few good thousands dollars there. The mattress came in a shocking state upon opening it. The seller never told us that a rolled up mattress should be left upside down for 24 hours to regain its original shape. 36 hours late I call the store to complain that the mattress is in a weird shape and they tell me that I should lay it upside down! After 36 hours they tell me that? Where was I supposed to sleep that night? We requested to have our money back as the mattress would never return to its original shape. Today, almost a month later, I still have the mattress on my living room waiting to be picked up and my refund to be deposited to me. We’ve made multiple phone calls to the store, to Ashley complaint line, multiple tickets have been open and up until now… NOTHING!! We don’t know who else to call or complain to? Their customer service is shocking and so is their furniture. We were also promised $150 refund for their promise to deliver my couch in 4 days and it took almost 3 weeks. Still haven’t seen the money! They’re liars, their furniture is as good as the furniture you buy on the internet We regret having chosen them and would never ever recommend anyone to deal with them because their customer service is terrible! Save yourselves money and time and buy at IKEA!

We purchased a bed, night stands and a mattress from this store based on the delivery time they gave us. We have people staying with us from out of state and needed it. Everyone was nice while we were in the store. After they missed multiple delivery times, the manager lied to me and said he would refund my delivery cost. I have not gotten the refund. He won't respond to emails. I texted the number they give you in the feedback here and they said they "opened a ticket" to ask him to respond to my emails. Nothing. I recommend you not buy anything from this location as they are the least helpful people I have ever worked with. Still have not received my order! DB at Ashley...I did contact the number you put in your response. Absolutely no help other than telling me 3 times my order is delayed! No help with the manager's broken promise or response. No help with trying to get in touch with someone higher up.

Great store with a very good selection of furniture. Daniela was great! She allowed us to shop and find what we wanted without a salesperson's pressure to buy anything. She was extremely helpful when we had questions and answered them quickly and honestly. We were very pleased with her and the store. Well, needless to say, we purchased a couch and loveseat on Monday and even though the web site said it would be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Our new furniture will be delivered on Friday. Once again we are extremely pleased with our purchase and have no regrets at this point.

We were able to get what we wanted, but the experience with the salesperson was frustrating because he was trying to handle too many customers at one time when others were available to help us. I get the commission thing, but the customer experience should be better. If it wasn't for the furniture we wanted that we couldn't find anywhere else, we definitely would have gone somewhere else.

It should not take 8 weeks for a piece of furniture to be delivered and speaking to their company reps doesn't help...get the run around and a different answer every single time...after scheduling my delivery...now the furniture is on back order...for another 3 weeks!

I would be careful of ordering items from this store. Make sure if shopping that you thoroughly read your receipt items and don't get over charged for items you didn't want also if you finance be careful of the banks this store use some of them are ridiculous pricey. This store couldn't help me. The Ashley Store in Killeen/Harker heights area was way better. What the temple store couldn't do they did. They also had better deals, and discounts. They ensured my family was taken care of.
Bought a chair along with other furniture 2 months ago. The chair was defective and driver would not take it back but he said a tech would contact us to fix it. Waited and nobody ever called. We called and they said they would order parts to fix it and should arrive in 7-10 days. Again, nothing. Called again and they said parts would arrive by thanksgiving. Nothing arrived. Called again, and after finally speaking to a supervisor that was extremely rude, we were told parts would arrive by Christmas. Again, nothing. Now they’re saying parts “might” ship at the end of January! We’re so sorry we spent so much money there. Super bad communication and poor customer service. We also have an open ticket because another piece of furniture is already falling apart and it’s only been less than 2 months since delivery. Hoping they will actually fix it.

Went to Ashley to get furniture for son. I was given a delivery date. I called to reconfirm delivery date but was told that no information was in the system about a delivery! I called 3 more times on different dates and was told different information each time. As of now, there is no delivery date scheduled and I’m considering if I should cancel the order and go to Bob Mills furniture. Don’t buy from them!
This store is a scam. No one who works there actually cares about their clients. They messed up my family’s order for couches and didn’t care whatsoever. Leo is very persuasive and conniving. He blamed us for him not responding to texts or calls. Dustin just doesn’t care at all. He initially messed up our order and never answered calls or texts either. He was useless. Just don’t shop at this store

Do not shop at this Ashley's. I purchased from several Ashley's Furniture and this has has to be by far the worst. Only reason I even purchased my furniture from this store even though the experience started off horrible is because the sales person was nice. To start they have what they call their salesperson a "mattress expert" were they match you with the perfect mattress. Which was fine but the manager (Dustin Smith) stood at the corner of the entry way like a creep watching as the man repositioned me on the mattress and did demos (and I worked in sales this wasn't a watching for training or review purpose). Then as we moved along the sales floor he would randomly come up and sit down and be weird just watching not engaging staring.With my furniture I purchased a mattress cover and when I got home the mattress cover they sold me was dirty and stained. I reached out to Ashley's customer service and they told me to take it to the store. I returned it on November 30, 2022 and the manager Leonard Haye assisted me and I thought it was handled. Got an email telling me I had to return the item which I did days prior. I had to go back to the store. Leonard Haye stated he had to wait on a response and he will get back to me. My request for my refund was closed and I did not get my refund. Leonard Haye then started ignoring my messages and did not give me any updates. I had to go back to the store on December 9, 2022 and this is now over a week later and the manager Dustin Smith wouldn't even assist me and sent an employee over to tell me there's nothing they can do and then threatened to have me removed from the store. I call the corporate customer service on December 10, 2022 and had go back to the store and an employee (still no manager will do their job) put in another TICKET to "request" a refund... not issue a refund. On December 14, 2022 once again the ticket was closed again and they refused to give me my refund. I have not heard from anyone that can do their job nor have I gotten my refund on a dirty stained mattress cover that they have in their possession.I will never shop at this Ashley's again!!!!
DJ was the Salesman that helped me and what a delight he is. Very caring and supportive of my dilemma. I have bought 4 pillows from Ashley trying to find the right one for me. He took time actually evaluating my sleeping position to see which pillow would work best for me. He is an amazing person and I am so thankful to have encountered him today.

They need to add a 0 star option for this place. It’s been about a year since I purchased a bedroom set and mattress. Like all stores the sale people are nice in the beginning until delivery, then after you sign everything all the sudden it takes 3 months to get everything delivered, which of course they don’t tell you until after it’s too late, then the delivery people break, scratch up, don’t set everything up and leave their trash in your home and run as fast as they can to get away, then try calling the store and telling them you received damaged and broken items they tell you sorry there’s a no return or exchange policy even if it’s their or delivery people’s fault. I can’t believe I fell for their scam, expensive lesson learned. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS BUSINESS

I mean such a large company should have a warehouse full of your products and should be able to get it out to me within a week or less not a month or so. Very disappointed when I received my product. The delivery personnel handled our purchase carelessly and dropped the recliner and broke it. The guy tried to tell the other driver that it fell and he said it’s ok (taking in Spanish) We did not realize it right away then when we started sitting felt funny so when flipped it over there was a lot of broken or cracked pieces underneath. :(

Came into the store looking for furniture, we had ordered everything in may with the expectation that all would be delivered by the time we got into our new house in June, after many delays we got our furniture in late July, with the expectation that our kids bed sets would not be in until August. When they arrived they had a children's night stand with the order that we tried to stop them at the door with the nightstand (still in its box), but he said that he "had to deliver it". We called and went up to the store multiple times, called the "customer care line" which provides no help either, and finally we were told that they don't take returns. We tried to stop them at the door, then were given the run around that "customer care does returns" but customer care then stated that only stores handle returns. Either way we are stuck with a nightstand without the beds to match, in the garage collecting dust. We were told by Jennifer that they do not deliver incomplete orders (example no table without chairs, no nightstand without bed etc).All staff at this store (we have talked to 5 or 6) have been 0 help and do not offer any real help mostly stating to call customer care, or this person handles returns etc, more run around. We also ordered a blanket set from them, that came in the wrong color. Also we're told that there is nothing they can do about it, no way to exchange color. Their mistake is our expense. All in all a horrible experience, still dealing with the fallout over 3 months from our order date. I would not recommend anybody shop at this location because if there are issues, it is on the customer and not the individuals who placed(in store on black and white paper so no way to verify color of the blanket) shipped, delivered the order.

WORST customer service EVER!!!! In stock couch just had to be shipped. But made 3 in person trips to the store to clear up an error the sale manager made at order, talked to Dustin, Cody, Leo and Jennifer who all assured me it was fixed, called customer service 4-5 times with holds of 30-45 minutes each time, got 2 work order numbers that the shipping address was correct. Took off work all day and they still delivered it to wrong address. And now!!! 3-4 more weeks to be delivered because they don’t have all the pieces to the couch. Order cancelled and going to Haverty’s to spend my $2000 instead. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!

Nope nope nope. Do not order from Temple Ashley Homestore. Ordered our furniture May 19th, didn’t receive it until July 27th after multiple pushbacks and multiple visits to the store. We should’ve been told that it was going to be backordered for months, if that was the case. We ordered a quilt set in a specific color and it came in the wrong color, we took it to the store to return/exchange/reorder the correct color we wanted, they don’t take returns in store. One of the “managers” told us we would need to send that one back on our own and noted it using the system for an exchange. Weeks go by, and no new quilt set in the correct color, however in the meantime our bedroom set arrives and our dining room table and chairs. July 27th, three men come in and deliver/ assemble our furniture, wasn’t told to look anything over and make sure everything was good before they left. 3 out of 6 chairs wobble, they’re $200 a piece. Our headboard has 3 holes in it because it’s missing a whole board, and our dresser is also wobbly and has a chip in it already. Before they came into our home, we told them we didn’t need/want a nightstand that was for our sons room, they told us that they would still need to leave it at our house. My husband try’s to call 3 different times to let them know our furniture has holes in it, and no one answered the phone. A few more days go by and we decide to take another trip to the store to take the nightstand back that the delivery people left, even though we no longer wanted it. What do you know, multiple associates standing around outside, no wonder the phone wasn’t getting answered. My husband carries it in, shocker, they can’t take it. It’s still in the box by the way. Manager says that they will have someone come pick it up to take it to the warehouse, the same warehouse the delivery people came from, but “couldn’t take it back”, also said someone will call us the following day to figure out where our quilt set is and gave us a piece of paper with a phone number to call to tell them our headboard has holes in it/is missing a board. Why give us a phone number to call to make us deal with it? What good are you? We ordered from THIS STORE, why can’t y’all fix the issue. We will NEVER ever order from this specific Ashley store again or Ashley in general. It’s been the most unpleasant experience from the get go and we are easy going people. Take your money and run to a different furniture store that will take care of you and treat you like you should after dropping 6k.

When we were ready to buy (our 4th furniture store of the day), it took no time at all. Leo, the store manager, was wonderful to work with. After a little negotiating, everyone felt great and we bought a couch!
Honestly-my shopping experience at the store was good. Things didn't fall apart until after we had paid for our purchase. At the time of sale, we were told all our items were in stocks and there would be no delays in delivering our new furniture we purchased on 7/20. Our 1st delivery date was 7/27. It was changed to 7/28. I then received a call telling me 1/2 my order was not in-stock. Delivery was set for 8/2, than moved to 8/4, than moved back to 7/29. Then we got a texted that said there wouldn't be a truck coming to Temple until 8/2. Then I was told that was only 1/2 my order. My recliners might be delivered on 8/2, but they don't know for sure if they will be on the truck or not. It could be a month or more. We can't get any clear answers but they sure do have our money and we sure do not have our product. The problem seems to be that the store doesn't know what the warehouse does and the warehouse doesn't know what the trucking company does and there is no one who can speak clearly about the issue. We just need clear answers that don't change 3xs a day. Very disappointed in our Ashley Experience.

We purchased some items and were told they would be delivered in two weeks. Three weeks later i called to find out the status of our items. I got a recorded message that said my items would be delivered in 14 - 16 weeks. I called again. After 30 rings a man answered, said he was customer service. I explained the purpose of my call and I asked why at the time of sale i was told 2 weeks delivery but then 3 weeks lateri was told it would be another 14 - 16 weeks. I also asked why I couldn't call the local store. He said the local stores usually don't answer their phones. He (the customer service guy) suggested I go to the store and ask the salesman why he told me 2 weeks.... that was what customer service suggested. ...all other attempts to engage him in conversion were met with sparky responses. Just know... if they don't have it in stock you may wait a while. Just be honest when we order...We were trying to get some new furniture before company came...didn't happen. My experiences may be normal for furniture stores these days but I can't think of a reason to go back here.
I was at first pleased with the staff I had been working with. Once My furniture was delivered to my daughters apartment 6-21-2022 @ 4:00 pm . She got home sat on her furniture, it blow up sparks came from underneath the couch!!! The following day she called to talk to Leo the sales representative which was a joke. My daughter was hurt in alot of ways. and now that they think it's funny to them we're taking it up higher. Will never shop there again. ! I'm taking it all the way to corporate. And next will be court! Such asses!

I guess I will just have to seek legal representation at this point! why is no one getting back to me! I have a bed frame in pieces that came in two separate deliveries and missing bolts so the "team" could not put together and no one has reached out to make sure I get the missing parts I still haven't heard from anyone on the 500 dollar difference that's is owed to me! after purchasing a table and chairs and then reselecting a different one 500 dollars less than i paid for the first one that "returned"/ reselected! and I have not received a night stand that has been on back order for 6 months what kind of company is this??? hope you like getting sued!!! I have had nothing but bad service and problems with Ashley's stores Cedar park and now Temple. I purchased a table and chair set from Cedar park Store for around 1600 dollars. I received Chairs and no table 6 months after I paid cash for the items. I had other problems with other items I also purchased so I was upset and wanted to just return the entire Table set and get my money back, well no refunds per the fine print they do not tell you about of course, but I was offered the option to exchange and pick out a different table set, which was fine with me. I went to the temple Ashleys to reselect a table for 1100 dollars so there is a price difference here that no one can seem to find and refund me. I haven't heard from anyone in over a month of refunding me a price different that I am legally owed! I have already started a formal complaint with the BBB. This is absolutely ridiculous and shameful stealing my hard earned money and NO ONE WILL TALK TO ME OR GET BACK TO ME ON THIS ISSUE OF MONEY OWED BACK TO ME! do I have to hire a lawyer? I have never ever in my life of shopping had to deal with a company like this. Ashleys's should be embarrassed of this.
The furniture selection is nice but I do not recommend this location. One floor manager is a compulsive liar and the other one is very nonchalant and almost useless. I've had the wrong couch piece delivered to me on three different occasions (The manager was very misleading and incompetent about the various available pieces for the couch which made the situation worse). My bed frame was delivered at almost midnight (11:21 pm) when I was told they would be at my house between 10 am - 12 pm. I had to call the delivery company twice to get an update on my delivery since there was a lack of communication the entire day. UPDATE*** I finally received the final piece of the couch but they delivered the WRONG foundation for my King size bed. This makes the 4th time I've had this type of encounter with Ashley.
Horrible customer service. I had a terrible experience! Purchased furniture in store and was told it would be 4-6 wks and ended up being 4months. The store never contacted me to tell me about any delay. They gave my address incorrectly to the bank they financed me through and the delivery guys had to call me because they couldn’t find me. The bills were going to the wrong address and caused me to get late fees and a derogatory mark on my credit report. The only way I could even get in contact with them is because their number was on my credit report. This morning I called the store directly and customer service and both of them told me to call the other. The lady I purchased furniture from is no longer working there so there is nothing they can do for me. The manager told me they fired everyone that was previously working there and couldn’t do anything to fix these issues. Bottom line is they are here to make $$ and could care less once you walk out the door. They deserve zero stars

We placed a special order back in September 2021 and have waited patiently to finally receive product of which is not what I originally was told I would get. yes the product # matched the sales ticket but who makes sure the sales rep is putting the right # on ticket, I didn't. then the picture is black and white so can't really tell what your getting. first we were told we have 3 days to return the furniture and get our money back, now we're being told they don't accept returns. the Temple store has referred me to the corporate office in which all they can do is a replacement. UGH!!! So frustrating!!! I just want the furniture that the sales rep (Crystal)showed me on her ipad when I ordered it!!! But now I really don't want to deal with this store as nobody is willing to accept responsibility for a mistake on the sales reps part!!
Sales associate Jacquelin was very nice and answered all of our questions. I didn’t feel rushed or harassed while looking around. 10/10 will do business there again in the future.

This whole process has been unbelievable. We ordered furniture in December. It was delivered in March. Every single piece was damaged except for the barstools. The table had nail holes in two places coming up. Every piece of the furniture was damaged. Took forever to work out an exchange and in the meantime we decided that we hated the couch. It was very uncomfortable. So I called Ashley and they said they have a no return policy but we could go into the store and pick something else out. So we pick something else out and were told it would be delivered April 13. Since then the manager says he never told us that date but my husband and I both heard that date. So after trying for three days to work this out I was told today that it will be delivered May 25. I have been trying to call customer care I’m on hold forever and nobody answers. I am almost thinking about getting an attorney involved in this because it’s absolutely the worst customer service. I would’ve never ordered a queen size mattress had I known it was not gonna be delivered till May 25 because we need it now Also the two men that delivered our furniture neither one of them spoke any English. And I mean any English I tried to tell them to take the furniture back and they didn’t even understand. So I called customer care while they were here and nobody ever picked up. It’s been very very frustrating

I Ashley Homestore 1 star because I couldn't give it 0 stars. We ordered furniture a whole new bedroom set, a big bed, two nightstands, two dressers and a bench. Then ordered two other night stands/side tables. We asked them schedule the delivery on a weekend or a convenient time that we'd both be home. The schedule during the weekday and showed up while I was at work I get home and notice the bottom of both dressers were broken at the bottom. One also was already chipping on the top. We also didn't get the hardware to attach the mirror to the other dresser. For the exchange we asked them the same thing, to schedule on a weekend or a time that was convenient for us. But yet again they showed up during the week while I was at work. Instead of building the new drawers and installing them on the new dresser, they took the drawers out of the old dresser and put them in the new one and left. When I got home from work i discovered that the drawers won't close all the way, they get stuck, and the tracks are messed up. They don't operate correctly with the new dresser. We were promised we would get our bench by December and here it is March and we still don't have it. We constantly get a new date of when it will be in. We also keep getting told everything is on back order. Mind you we ordered this furniture in July 26, 2021. When we called to tell them about the dresser, they asked us to send in pictures so we did. When we called to follow up on the status they are now telling us their policy has changed and they will have to send people out to look at it and make sure that they can exchange it. And this was an error on their part because the men they sent out to bring the furniture didn't put it together correctly and didn't use the new drawers. The still haven't sent anyone out. After spending the kind of money we did there, I am livid. The furniture quality is cheap, the guys they send out to deliver it don't speak good English, and they don't properly put the furniture together. We even bought the extra furniture care plan.

Amanda was so kind and helpful we needed furniture for our little girl. She was so helpful,and listened to what we where looking for ,and took great care of us. You can tell she really cares about guest needs,and wants…especially when making a purchase like furniture that’s a big commitment in my book ! POOR QUALITY FURNITURE!! My delivery took two months after purchase to get to my home. They use a third party logistics company (DSG) to assemble and deliver the product. When my kitchen table and chairs got here, it was badly damaged. There were chips in almost all of the wood, the material on the chairs was already frayed, and every single chair had loose or missing screws! I used to expect more out of a so called high end furniture store like Ashley Furniture but they have proven to me they don’t care about the customer receiving quality goods for the price you pay. I will be getting my money back. It was very difficult to talk to a real person with a customer service problem. Their phone system is not adequate. It’s like the left hand is not aware of the right hand type of scenario. I do not recommend you spend your hard earned cash here as there are many more furniture places I ordered furniture from and it got here with care and expertise. Ashley furniture brought me replacement furniture and it was stained and again there were screws missing.

I was looking for a new bed frame to fit my Calif King size mattress. I had already been to 2 other furniture stores and they told me they don't carry any in that size was told they could not even order me one. when I came into Ashley's the sales lady told me they could order me one in the size I needed. she walked me around the whole store trying to find one. This lady went above and beyond. She worked very hard and was so nice. she also talked me into adding an adjustable base to help me with putting on the sheets and my sleep problem I am so looking forward to that adjustable base. That sales lady stayed with me for over an hour and was so helpful I highly recommend Ashley's in Temple,!

DO NOT SHOP HERE. I scheduled a delivery date and time and they decided to take it upon themselves to want to show up 2 hours before the scheduled time. So I was unprepared and wasn't home for anyone to deliver my furniture. Then when I decide to call to correct the issue they say to me it was an estimated time and I was suppose to have my whole day open. Basically telling me it was my fault for not being home 2 hours before the scheduled delivery time.

We went to this location last Tuesday the 30th. If I could have rated 0 I would have, we left feeling like we got taken by a used car sales person. We filled out the application, we were not informed or did it say they were signing us up for credit cards with credit and that's what you pay with. After asking them what are payment s should be we were told SHOULD be around $167 per month, but could not give us for sure amount nor any paperwork. After telling them we were done because that's not acceptable one sales lady rolled her eyes and they got rude. I asked for the paperwork back as we were not accepting the service and our info is on it they said no. We could not get cancelation info nor any paperwork. They had order the furniture and also two credit cards. We never signed agreeing to payments, amounts or financing only that they could verify info and and what we were eligible for. I asked for the corporate number and was given the warehouse number for New Mexico. I was finally able to reach an escalation department on Thursday and the lady said she was showing the order and delivery date for the furniture and also two credit cards, she contacted the escalation department for our area and had everything canceled. I called the store today to find out why this was done like this. The manager called me back as he was the one that set up the financing and than left. He would not let me even finish explaining, he kept interrupting stating nothing was ordered, but I have proof everything was. He proceeded to cut me off again and say have a nice day as I was talking and hung up. I called back and requested his name and they refused. We were there for over two hours, such a waste I would not recommend Ashley's to anyone nor the Temple Tx store. It was bad enough I made sure when we got the furniture somewhere else on Wednesday it was not even Ashley's brand. Worst experience we have had in a very long time.

I was very disappointed when I went in this store. I have bought a lot of furniture from them and returned because I have always been greeted with a smile and enthusiasm. I guess Haily White either didn’t want to be there or was having a bad day. She was rude and it was like pulling teeth to get any information from her. I felt like I was an annoyance to her. If I didn’t need 2 recliners so bad I would have walked out and went somewhere else. Even after I gave her almost $1000 she was still acting like that. I will ask for someone else next time. Or I will go somewhere else. I will give them one more chance.

I purchased a $6,979 powered head and foot living room set in 8/15 and delivery 8/28. Both recliners did not work. Three weeks later another couch was deliver, this time only one recliner worked. We actually went into the Temple store and verbally told and showed which side was needed. Three weeks later another recliner was delivered but it was the wrong side. Two weeks later another recliner was delivered and it was again the wrong side. The customer service would not help telling me the store needed to fix. I went to the store and they refused to call. Now, once again, I must call customer service to fix a problem they created. What has happened to Ashley furniture? This has been the worst furniture purchasing experience in 40 years.
Had a Great experience at Ashley Furniture! Every question I had they were quick to Answer, they were very KIND and ATTENTIVE! Which let's be honest some places are not always like that. They got me in and out and Approved quickly threw financing even with an ok credit score! All I can say, is I'm SO excited for my daughter to receive her bedroom set! It's absolutely gorgeous and elegant! I know sh is going to Love it!
I purchased a bedroom set from them, that they stated they had in stock. Everything was good to go, which I purchased two weeks before I needed it to be delivered. They bring it to set up, then they noticed they don’t have the brackets to set the bed up, and tell me the have to order them. I call Killeen Ashley, they have everything I need and tell me I can come get them which I do. I call Temple back to let them know I have the parts and to please send someone out to put my bed together and they tell me I have to wait till they put in a service order and then call me back for an appointment! Even though yesterday when I called their customer service I was told someone would be here at 11:00, which did not happen. Never again will I shop at Ashley in Temple TX!!!
Outside of long wait due to system issues to process my payment. I was pleased with the service Michael gave at the Temple, Tx location. He was attentive, knowledgeable, but also let me roam in peace and was available when I had a question. The store was also clean and well organized with a descent selection.
Store is more concerned with a quick sale than honesty. We ordered furniture for my son's new apartment on Sept 5th. It is now Oct 9th and NONE of his furniture has been scheduled for delivery. When I called to check the status of the order, I was told the pieces would not be available until some time NEXT YEAR! Had we known this we would have looked at other options or vendors. My son has been in his apartment for almost 2 weeks with nothing to sit on or eat off of... they were not even apologetic, just explained why it was the manufacturer fault and not theirs! And they want to charge us a fee to cancel! NEVER AGAIN!
Personnel was friendly and informative when it came to taking our money. After two missed delivery dates we opted to cancel our order and get our money back…this stores policy is you must wait 30 days for your refund. It has been 30 days since we asked for a refund. My husband called to inquire about our money and was hung up on, twice! Guess we will be filing a civil law suit. I’m the meantime don’t waste your time/money here. We went right on down the road to Bob Mills and got our furniture delivered in one week highly recommend their customer service. I will NEVER set foot in another Ashley Homestore!

I will never buy anything from here again. I ordered a couch 4 months ago and they pushed my delivery date again. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me the date got pushed. I went into the store to get more information and they told me it got pushed. The guy told me my "only other option" is to get this sofa off the floor that was no where near what I wanted. Once I brought up a refund, they all just got rude. He got very short with me and said someone would call me the next day to finalize my refund. I HAD TO CALL AGAIN to get an update on this and the lady was sooo rude to me! It has been almost 2 weeks and I have still not received my refund. My and my kids are sitting on the ground of my apartment waiting for this money so I can go find a new couch to buy. Absolutely ridiculous and they don't even care. NEVER AGAIN. Here it is the 23rd. I was told my refund should be here no later than today and my bank says there isn't even a pending refund from them. This company is literally trying to steal my money. NOT HAPPENING!

I would never buy furniture from here for as long as I live. We have made two orders. One was for a bed room set. We ordered in early April and asked that it not be delivered until June 4th (our move in date for our new house). Despite plenty of time given in advance, they did not deliver on time and we had to wait for our furniture. I thought this was bad. It wasn't the tip of the iceberg. We mistakenly ordered two sofas from them on June 6th as we were promised they were "in stock" and would definitely be delivered on June 12th. It is now the end of August and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY FURNITURE. We have had to contact them ad infinitem to receive updates. They offered a refund of delivery fee which has not been satisfied yet. I have wasted so much of my life on the phone with this company. I strongly recommend no one works with, works for, or associates with Ashley Homestore. Their service has been a farce and is nearing fraudulent.

Do not recommend purchasing anything unless you’re willing to have your delivery date changed multiple times, customer service reps are incompetent and delivery drivers hang up on you! No supervisor available to help and told only to deal with customer service! Guests are here but our couch is not! Ridiculous!!!
Ashley has very good quality and beautiful furniture, and the sales people are amazing and helpful. However, the delivery team is the worse i have experienced, and just for that reason, i will not recommend or buy again at Ashley. The sales guy told me that he was going to split my order because one of my items was going to take a bit longer to arrive and he didn't want them to delay everything because of that one item. I have a disabled person at home and they called me saying that my furniture is ready to be delivered but since the one item was going to take longer, the drivers didn't want to deliver until they had everything. I told them what the sales guy did and why but the situation still was escalated. After almost a month waiting, they will schedule me for 1 week from today for partial delivery and the rude lady that calls stills hung up on me when i complain. Why call if they will still do whatever they want to do? I asked if i could get my delivery money back and pick up myself since the items are ready but the answer was no. i went to a local furniture store to get an accent chair, no issues, no delays. i wish i would have go there first and not go through this with Ashley. I would not recommend delivery with Ashley, i would recommend you to go to a local furniture store first. Shame on Ashley for the delivery service.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE!!!! The sales people are great however actually getting the furniture is another story. I bought furniture May 24 and every time I call to check the status they keep extending the receiving date. As of today my sofa isn’t going to be received till Aug 24! That’s received by Ashley not actual delivery. Seriously 3 months for a sofa? The sofa I was originally told at the time of purchase was going to be delivery at the end of June. The same sofa that Ashley called me on July 14 to set up delivery for Aug 8 that all of a sudden is no longer available for delivery. This was my first and last experience with Ashley. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.
Great experience here! We called ahead asking about a bedroom set and Terri was informative and helpful. She encouraged us to come visit the store to look in person. When we showed up, she had everything in the bedroom set written down for us under our names and never rushed us while we continued to browse. She was professional, courteous, and a pleasure to do business with. The store itself has a clear layout and it was easy to find what we were looking for. We look forward to coming back here for any future needs.

Absolutely terrible reclining leather sectional purchased. Broke not long after purchase. Ashley sent someone to fix but it’s not fixed correctly. Recliner doesn’t work. Looking for a new one that hopefully lasts more than one year.

I has already chosen the sofa style we wanted, I walked in the store and I asked for a sales person, someone was available and looked up my items and quoted me the price, I asked her to place the order for me. She answered all my questions and told me the estimated delivery date, (6 to 8 weeks) not pleased about the wait time and not being available sooner, specially when you pay for it in full. Overall she did a good job and provided very good service!..
Byron as a manager is a joke… he will break your stuff and lie to get you to drive off with it so that he can then say it’s not in his possession so you must have broke it…. He will tell you corporate never sent any tickets to him as he has them open on the computer reading it… The merchandising manager is just as big a liar and will cover for him no matter what she has to say … including that she hides behind doors to watch employees load orders…. If you have any issues with the store they will give you the run around to ensure you can’t get anything resolved… then they hand you a paper that starts off saying integrity is a part of Ashley’s furniture… that’s a joke not one employee in the store has an ounce of integrity. The paper goes on to say Ashley’s will make it right …. “Right” as long as you just roll over and let them lie.. I would never buy from this location especially with other options just down the road…. Make sure you go ANYWHERE else for your furniture so you can get at least a small amount of customer service!!!!!

He replied “you can just buy new hinges” My son informed him that I would not accept it and he said show it to me and if I did not bring it back. When I saw the entire door broken off not just hinges but the wood I did not want to keep it. Upon bringing it back, store manager decided he would not take it back and found a co- worker to claim she saw my son drop it. When I said I didn’t see you there she claimed she was peeking through the door! Who does that?? So unprofessional! Their claim is they will make it right—- they cannot even take ownership of their mistakes! Now escalated to be resolved- might not get my $600!! I’ve been a loyal customer for decades, recently purchased a dining set and love seat ($4000) Never again

Purchased furniture in full with Terri back in March 2021, was originally told it would be in June 30, 2021. My furniture piece was a new line just in and it would take longer than the 4-6 week normal turn around time, had a great sales experience no pressure. Called late May to double check status of furniture, only to find out that my furniture status got moved to half coming in mid July and the rest coming 8/10 when we would not be available. Since we would not be available it was then going to be January before we could get the rest of it. After threatening to cancel the order the 1st time, I was promised and guaranteed my completed 8 piece order would be delivered on June 22, 2021. I called Ashley's Homestore June 22 at 12:02pm and talked with Priscilla, she told me that my order was not only NOT on the way to me; but they did not have any of it on hand. That part of it would be delivered July 3, and the rest Aug 3; at this time I asked for a cancellation of my order and a full refund that I no longer wanted my furniture and I wanted a confirmation that this had been completed. She advised me this would be done, but this WAS NOT done, and she proceeded to email me my purchased receipt 8 times. Called back June 23 10:09am spoke with Ismael who started the conversation off well but then proceeded to instruct me on what I didn't know and what I didn't understand from my previous conversation with Priscilla. In return I advised him it wasn't my fault there is no consistent training there OR when the call line states all calls may be monitored for quality care and assurance it's actually a LIE, because they do not record or pull calls for auditing purposes. How do I know, because Ismael told me they don't during our call when I asked for my call on June 22 to be pulled since he advised me that my refund was NEVER processed. PLUS, refund process for anyone that does NOT know is the 1st representative puts in a request, then it's goes to a VIP representative who then will call you back and TRY to talk you out of the refund by making up something that they CAN'T do like deliver your furniture early. So it's best to stay on the line and go ahead ask for the VIP and tell them you want to cancel and GET A TICKET # right then!!! Once that happens it's a QUICK turnaround, more like 72 hours vs the 7-10 days. So don't let them play you for a fool! Took a friend of mine over 3 months to get her refund back, because they kept pulling this crap! The VIP rep that I spoke with was Destiny she was very professional and did a great job and was quick to understand I was DONE, I asked her as well to pull the call from 6/22, whether or not it happens who knows. You can't go into the store and talk to ANYONE about the refunds it's useless, and Byron may be NICE during the sale process, but he is extremely rude when he knows a sale is being taken away and not helpful. I am extremely upset with this experience especially since I can't find anything like the sectional I found there, but I will NOT ever buy from Ashley again after this experience, I hope this helps someone else!
I have had a terrible experience with this store! Ordered a bedroom set for my son, was told it would be delivered in May. Every time I call it’s a different delivery date. Then I’m told today they have everything expect for bookshelf headboard (that I paid extra for). So they were planning on just delivery half of my order??? Was told to call back next day and see if they “find” a headboard! WTF. So disappointed. If they do not have the headboard I’m going to request a refund. This is so disappointing and poor business. Never ever again Temple Ashely Furniture. Also after reading the several complaints for the same thing, wish I would have read them first before ordering, and maybe they should do something for their poor service.
The worst buying experience I've ever had. First, they sold us a couch that was supposed to be delivered June 11th but when we called back that day they said it wasn't even in the warehouse. So we transfered the order amount to a new couch to be delivered on the 22nd. Well, low and behold we call and they said our order was fully cancelled and there was no sign of the other purchase. This place is awful and now I can't even buy a new couch because I'm left here waiting another 2 weeks for my refund! If you want to actually receive the furniture you pay for, DON'T GO HERE!!!

It could not have been better. I was immediately greeted by a sales associate Crystal Dahl and told her what I was looking for. She said there were numerous choices throughout the store and left me to browse to see if there was something I liked. She let me have my own time to look - this meant a lot to me rather than having someone hover over my shoulder the whole time. She checked on me a couple of times and when I found what I wanted I located her quickly and she processed the sale in no time. I already have the delivery scheduled. This was a super experience for me and I will definitely be going back to Ashley Furniture.

I had a bad experience with Ashley’s in Tucson, Arizona many years ago but I have to say that Phil at Ashley’s Temple provided us with truly great service. I told him what I wanted and that I was on a budget. Phil was responsive and no pressure, giving me plenty of options from which to choose. I will be going back to make more purchases from Phil at Ashley Homestore in Temple.
In terms of buying furniture, this was the fastest checkout experience I've ever had. Employees were super helpful! Crystal at the Temple TX location was especially helpful.

I wl never deal with this company again I was going to buy a lift chair from there I told them I wanted in 2 weeks n del on sat they said no problem when they text me for del they said Mon though Fri delivery I called them I wanted it del sat or cancel order a lady set it up for a sat del I called them the following week to see if I could pay it off I was informed that they had cancelled order I ask for a refund they said it be a week I called today n was told order was still active n only way I could get back refund was buy something else. Ashley did contact after I put this on here they said they reimburse me that was a week ago still nothing. It's been 2 weeks now still no check it don't take that long to get a letter from temple to temple I'll keep on writing this till I get my money they are so grateful for a veteran well I'm a veteran shows how much they care !

Ashley furniture is the worst shopping experience I have ever dealt with. In store service is great but the way the company overall operates is horrible online versus in store is price difference and when I purchased a couch online back in March had a 6-8 week lead time. Now today in almost June having the same timeline provided. The whole ordeal online customer service is horrible no interaction or updates and up to you as the customer to do so. The constant debiting and crediting on your account for an item that will never show up and dealing with management to solve issues is like jumping through hoops when calling their “excellent” service over the phone. Will never even think about purchasing anything from this company save yourself the money and go somewhere else.
Don’t use Ashley furniture if you’re expecting to have it delivered to a new city. The Temple location sold my family and I a house full of furniture that was supposed to be delivered to Alabama on May 25th. Then, we move to Alabama and discover that it’s not even in stock and they have no idea when it’ll be delivered. Even though the Temple location said that they double checked and made sure that the Hoover location was a sister store and they could have it delivered, turns out it is NOT a sister store. Now, I’m in my new house with no furniture for my family. I had to place multiple calls to Ashley customer service. They’ve told me that canceling the order is the only option. Now, I wait 72 hours for the cancellation process, 7-10 business days for the money to be refunded on my card and I have to go looking elsewhere for furniture at that time. We will be without furniture until that then. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Ashley Furniture.

The customers service is great. I walk in to just look to get ideas of what I would like. And when I was talking to the sales person they don’t pressure me in to buy anything right then and there. I was able to get a quote on two different thing and come back a couple day later and finalize my buy on the one I wanted. Will definitely be a returning customer.

To start, Courtney was super helpful in assisting us in ordering our living room sofa. Edit: I placed my order for a sofa May 16th, over 2 and a half months later I have not received my furniture. I also have NEVER received a call from Ashley's following up on progress or a potential delivery/pickup date. I do understand we are experiencing a nationwide shortage, however I don't think it's fair to sell people products they may never receive. I have called Ashley Furniture multiple times only to be told my sofa is on it's way and they give me a date which then soon passes. Please take this note into consideration when ordering anything from Ashley's. My recommendation would be to avoid them completely.

They told me my furniture was an estimated delivery date of May 18th, just checked on it and now they’re saying June 17th. They knew this before I ordered the furniture, why wasn’t I told this ahead of time?!?😡
Doesn't honor online prices and where if you buy it online it is free delivery, they charge you $140 if you buy anything in store to have it delivered. Asked to cancel the order right after purchase because we were going to order it online instead and they said if we canceled the order, it was a 10% restocking fee. Their delivery service sucks also. Won't be returning.

After further consideration, I feel like this location over charged for a lot of things... Delivery alone was $250, and the insurance charge was roughly $280 & my couches were the only items I thought I insured... In anycase, all I had was a love seat & sofa, a better than a box spring foundation & a bed in a box... Save your time & your money & order online or go to the Killeen location... I bought furniture from the Killeen store in 2018: Sofa chaise, love seat, chair with ottoman, & a porter dinning table with six chairs & I didn't pay $250 for delivery nor was my insurance for the furniture nearly $300... 🤔 Again, go online... premium delivery is like $99 & your insurance paid varies, starting at $49.99 and increasing based on the amount of stuff you want to insure... I don't think I'll ever purchase from this location again

Really irritated with delivery and damages. The delivery date has been pushed back by a month and our coffee table was scratched up along with our end table being damaged TWICE. I sent the first end table back and got the new one today... it's still damaged in the exact same spot. They're trying to deliver our chaise a month apart from our sofa. The sales rep was great when purchasing in-store, but wow... the delivery and damages have been extremely irritating. This is a nightmare to deal with.

I was told and given it in writing that I would have a 3 hour delivery window, when they called to deliver I was told to be available all day and would receive a phone call 30 mins prior to delivery. I ordered from 2 different stores,i ordered a dresser from this store.. I was told my dresser would be delivered with the other items and the dresser did not get delivered.
When we walked into the Temple store, we were greeted by Victoria. She was friendly and helpful and no pressure. We were allowed to walk around and she was there when we had questions. She was informative and willing to answer any questions we had. I needed up buying a couch and a bedroom set. She made a nerve racking experience easy and I am thrilled with her as well as everyone else that had a hand in helping me. Thank you all!

Ashley's was really clean and pretty ADA friendly, which was super refreshing after looking in a few cities and struggling to find a sectional the right size and orientation. The manager helped us here and he was really nice and laid back. We're excited and anxious to get our new sectional delivered!

Got us financied through synchronize bank made all my payments on time they keep reducing our credit amount and makes our credit score go down also bought a table and chairs called them within 10 days and to them the table was warping came out and said we would get a new table 2 weeks later I called to see where my table was and they said it was my fault and they were not gonna do anything got stuck with a warped table still had to pay for it won't do business with them anymore a very dissatisfied customer

So the sales reps were all professional and well composed. Everyone was respectful and to the point. The item we paid for was a floor model and decently priced for what it was. Everything was well handled up until the delivery. They had to reschedule the delivery date 3 times because of a number of unforseen problems, part of which was lack of communication between the store managers, assistant manager and junior assistant manager.( it seemed like no one was aware of what was going on). Also their corprate-side decided to cancel a scheduled pickup. I did recieve my order on the third attempt and It was handled in a timely fasion.

Very disappointed with this Ashley HomeStore. My husband and I went in and ordered a complete bedroom set. We paid cash right away. we then scheduled delivery for our new home for January 27th. They confirmed that all pieces were in and will be delivered. Unfortunately our house closing was pushed back and we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for 1 week later. Now our dresser was on backorder?? Anyway, delivery was scheduled for February 3rd. The delivery showed up and they told us they only had our mirror, posts, and frame. Where was everything else? Called Ashley and they informed us that they messed up the order and would schedule another delivery. So, my husband took a half day because delivery was scheduled for the morning. Guess what??? Only the posts and frame came again! My husband accepted the posts and said we would wait again. After Ashley left we opened the damaged box and found out the posts were damaged also! Calling the store today and it is like they don't believe us. I am not lying about still laying on the floor! how much longer do we have to wait?? I do not recommend this Ashley. Try a different location or Bob Mills in the area.

On January 1st me and my husband purchased multiple pieces of furniture out right with NO financing. We based our purchase of what the sales man Phillip told us they had “in stock”... Since our purchase, NO one has reached out to us regarding any updates with any of our order. So I’ve been calling on a weekly basis for information regarding delivery for our things. I have been given different delivery dates- 1/19, 1/28, 2/1, 2/19, and two dates in March. Today I returned to the store in person to cancel my order completely, to be able to look for furniture elsewhere, and told that they can’t return any of my money until the manager is in on Friday, and then it would take 10-14 business days for the refund to process!!! This has literally been the worst experience ever purchasing furniture for our home!!! I would NEVER recommend this store for anyone buy furniture from...

Victoria was very helpful. We went in looking for a bed (headboard and footboard) and got it down to 3. We asked a lot of questions and Victoria was very patient and responsive. Very happy with our decision and service at the store.

W A R N I N G ! ! ! ! Loved the sofa until we did some major cleaning. One picture is what filled the back cushion. The other picture is of the throw pillows with the same filling. The seating cushions are filled with foam. They have smashed down so much. There is stuff on the top and botton that is stuck to the foam. The sofa started smelling sour. Nothing has been spilled on it. Bought the warranty and it states, "We are not responsible for odors." Come to find out, they don't cover anything. Looks like they collected man scape hair from several countries and filled the cushions with it. NASTY!!!. Pictures were deleted. Will try to post them again. If you go to my photo's, the pictures are clear.

Initially I was impressed with the store experience. But I’ve now lost all hope in this store. You may be able to order some furniture here but who knows when you will actually get the furniture! I was told a date in the store that he said was the for sure delivery date, showed me on the computer and everything. THEN the sales manager let me know hours after I left the store and he secured the sale that date would be pushed back and that the new date was set and it would not be pushed back again . And NOW I’m being told the date is pushed again and whenever it gets to the warehouse they will call. I was also told in the store that the furniture was in stock , which is why I picked the specific furniture I picked. Come to find out when I reached out to customer service the furniture is not in stock anymore and they are waiting for it to arrive !!! I am so upset I decided on the furniture i did because of the delivery time being a lot shorter and the furniture being in stock! I was lied to just so they could make a sale. These people will lie to your face and have you spend thousands of dollars just to not even know when you will see the furniture!! Do not recommend.
Ashley furniture always has wonderful furniture in stock. We have bought several significant pieces for our home from Ashley’s and have never been disappointed. The furniture, whether our sectional, kitchen island or vanity has been beautiful, well made and well priced. I highly recommend you give it a try!

The floor staff will lie to your face telling you their product will be delivered to your home in 7 days. After many calls, a "supervisor" from New Braunfels told us every store employee KNOWS, at a minimum, a delivery will be at least eight weeks. This was a customer service nightmare, and four weeks of phone calls and complete fabrications. The staff was polite while filling us full of garbage about delivery dates. I hope the commission was yanked when the order was canceled.

Dining Room set had a chair with 1 leg shorter than other 3......exchange delivery 2 weeks later tried to exchange a chair that was the same way, 1 leg short than other 3......What is wrong with your business????......I understand a mistake or flaw on original delivery but make the same mistake twice.......POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE AND NO QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!! We ordered our furniture in August with a delivery date set for October. October passed and we did not receive any updates on our furniture. I called and they said the delivery date would be pushed back to December. It is now December 10th and have heard nothing. I had to call 4 times to even get someone to pick up and customer service told me that the delivery date was pushed back again to January now! I understand times are weird with covid but some communication would be nice since we have been waiting now almost 5 months and we spent quite a bit of money there. This is ridiculous, a little customer service would be nice.
I will never buy from the store again. I ordered a love seat at the end of July and have not received it to this day. I called the customer service line and they said that it was on back order till the end of December. This is ridiculous! I should’ve known better when there was a very unsatisfied customer when I was ordering my loveseat at the store!!! Do not order from this company. It is a joke!!!

Every time I need furniture I always go here! All of the staff is wonderful, but Mel is always my go to gal. I moved here and had to buy all new furniture and she helped me tremendously. I just recently went back and she had remembered me from over a year ago! For me, customer service is key for an experience and that’s one of the main reasons Ashley will forever have my business!

Byron at the Ashley home furniture store in Temple Texas is great he was so helpful without being bothersome. He made the whole experience much better than I've had at other furniture stores. This particular store you didn't have people constantly following you around asking you questions about what you were interested in you had time to look and see what you might want.

The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. The FIRST delivery date that was scheduled, I took off work and at 3 o’clock I called Ashley furniture customer service (which I was put on hold for 18 minutes) and was told that part of the sectional we bought has been back ordered so the delivery had been canceled. Another delivery date was scheduled for 2 weeks later. I called today to make sure nothing had changed (it took 24 minutes to get an actual person on the line) only To find out the delivery has been canceled again with no updated call from the company. How does a business operate like this? NEVER AGAIN

We will never purchase any more furniture from Ashley furniture again. I have spend about $30k in the last 5 years. From dealing with the managers and store managers, we have had no help in getting our furniture. They tell us one thing and everything they have told us keeps changing. Haven’t slept on a bed in 10 days now because our bed was missing pieces. They sent us a frame that we couldn’t use. Gave us a number to call and complain and they say they can’t help either. We just want someone that will be upfront and honest with us.....

Worst store ever! Worst customer service ever, worst management ever. I purchased an entire bedroom set, living room set and dining table back in August. After multiple delays, wrong items being delivered. Items being taken off the truck and not delivered, mgmt ordering the wrong items.. they now can't fix anything because they have exhausted there resources. And I've spent 3 hours on hold on multiple occasions to speak to someone. At this rate the store is only giving us $300 to compensate us for the issues. And will not budge on anything else

I’m so disappointed in the customer service I have received this time around with Ashley furniture. Communication has been so poor and no information provided to me until I push for answers. Very quick to sell items when customers come in the store but not so quick to keep customers in the loop about what’s going on with their purchase of thousands of dollars. While I realize we are in the midst of a pandemic, the possibility of furniture taking 3-4 months to be delivered was not mentioned so I could be prepared for the possibility and make choices based on that information. Nobody reached out to inform me that my original scheduled delivery date would not be completed and it would be an additional month or two (after already given a delivery date two months out from purchase date). It has taken an excessive amount of time to receive an email back from customer service and I’ve had no success at getting anyone on the phone to answer questions therefore I had to take time out of my day to go up to the store two days before my scheduled delivery date to find out if it was still scheduled or not because nobody had contacted me. Thankfully I was able to speak with the store manager who gave me info. At this point, I’m not holding my breath till my order is delivered. We placed the order in store on August 16th, it’s now October 17th with a new estimated delivery date for PART of my order on November 11th. I’ll believe what I’m told when the furniture is sitting in my house. Again, i just can’t express how frustrating and disappointing this experience has been.

They had very good items but the thing I didn’t like was the sales person automatically assumed I needed to finance and once I paid in full he proceeded to be curious of my occupation as if me and my wife shouldn’t be able to afford the furniture
Update- after Ashley responded to my review I reached out to them at the email they provided to confirm I wanted to cancel my order unless they could fix the delivery and actually get me my furniture. I got no reply. The store manager never reached back out to me to confirm my order was cancelled. My husband went back up to the store on Tuesday (10/6) to confirm since we could not get ahold of the store and apparently customer care can&'t cancel my order either. So he goes up there and speaks to the assistant store manager who supposedly cancels the order as it was never cancelled to begin with and APPARENTLY THEY WERE GOING TO TRY TO DELIVER THE DAMN FURNITURE ON FRIDAY (to an address that we now no longer live at because it&'s taken them so freaking long!) mind you I never got any information to confirm or deny this delivery!?!? The ASM said she cannot give us any confirmation that it&'s been cancelled and that someone else at the store is the only one who can do that. Ofcourse now we can&'t get ahold of anyone to confirm it&'s been cancelled for like the THIRD FREAKING TIME!!!!
To say that I am furious is beyond this. We purchased our home office furniture on 5/24. Two weeks ago they delivered part of my order. Today our desk was supposed to be delivered so I called because of course they didn't call. On hold for over an hour. Worst customer service ever and the representative says we will get our desk on 12/2 and that it's delayed due to COVID. No apologies, nothing. I told her that this is what happened when we bought our kitchen set 2 years ago. It took 6 months. This has happened to several friends as well.

My wife, daughter, nephew and Auntie who is a long time account holder at Ashley was shopping for her son in grievance from a lost life. When we walked in the store we were asked to leave, but not out the front door in which we entered, but the side emergency door my young daughter and nephew asked if it was because of how we looked. We were embarrassed , and hurt to be treated like this we are business owners of our own and realize what is going on today in the world is no reason to treat guests with no respect, or no dignity. I am writing to teach my children that you don't have to sit back and be mistreated, that they have a voice and it matters.

For one I did have a great sales lady she was awesome... we did all the paperwork the wrote everything down they showed me what I was getting everything was A OK. Delivery got pushed back I think a month so we waited now for our order, when our order finally got here it was completely the wrong set I mean everything was wrong the only thing they got right was the mattress and the box springs. After we told the delivery drivers to take everything back but leave the mattress in the box springs I called the store and they said to come in so we can fix everything we did they said they fix it in the computer but then later on again when it was coming to delivery it was the same exact stuff I just sent back. And when we went into go and fix everything they said that corporate sent down the tags with the wrong item numbers on it or something like that so I’m like OK this is a corporate problem they need to come and fix it do some thing for me because I am a busy mom I have a full schedule I can’t be taking time off and missing work. So now the third time we finally got everything fixed and everything was supposed to come tomorrow...... I texted the sales lady that helped me and come to find out I still have not been told what they’re gonna do for me on my account wise for the whole mixup and plus I still have not received a text confirmation of what time they’re delivering tomorrow.. she called me and told me it somehow got deleted out of the system so now I have to wait yet again another full month and I just had it I’m done with these games not doing something correctly I don’t care and don’t blame Covid!! So I told them to cancel the bedroom set I don’t want it no more I’ll just keep the mattress and the box springs and I was waiting for a text or a call back yesterday about what all happened what’s going on is this going to be taken off my credit am I going to be billed correctly and now they’re dodging me I’ve been calling yesterday I’ve been calling today and no text back so I’m really disappointed and I am very livid. Very disappointed and I’m going to be calling Corporate also. The one on top is what we were supposed to get... the one on the bottom is what we got sent.... two Completely different sets..

I felt like I was on a car lot, had to leave just to get away from the sales person. Tip: if someone tells you 4 separate times they want to look around and than walks away each time, don't try to interject yourself back into there shopping experience every 2 mins. Annoying your customers, will and did cause a lost sale.

Worst experience. Waited month for delivery only to find out it would be at least two more months. Canceled order and it took two weeks to credit back CC. Don&'t believe they stock anything. I would not recommend going here. I never will again.

I had ordered 2 patio chair in April and it is almost September. I called beginning of the month and the answering service firmly told me Aug 5th and would not give me any further details. Still waiting........No help from help center. Told me to call the store. Spoke to salesperson that helped me and told me she will call me back. Called 2 more times but someone else answered and told me that they know what is all about and the salesperson will call me back. Never heard back from them. I will forgo my $500 credit. I guess Ashley furniture NEEDS it more than I do. Keep that money because you DO NOT DO HONEST business. I can always make more money. Hope you can repair your reputation

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! My sales person was Byron and he is a moron , he constantly kept saying it wasn&'t his fault it&'s the other companies blah blah blah, so I went in to buy a couch in June-Julyish area , picked one did my first payment which was $86.90 they said 3-6 weeks for my couch to arrive , about 2 weeks go by I get a text asking me which of the 3 dates listen do I want my delivery to be, clearly i picked the quickest one which would&'ve been August 18th. They tell me they&'ll send a confirmation text a day before to remind me. Well a week goes by I get a call saying oh there&'s a delay they&'ll have to push it back, I got no date no nothing just it&'s delayed. So I go up to Ashley&'s furniture bc THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. I ask them this is the 2nd time you delay my order wtf is going on , some red head lady claims oh it&'ll be here next week next week so I ask her again are you sure it&'s next week she says yes she fills out the orders. So I leave A WEEK GOES BY STILL NO DAMN COUCH . I go up to Ashley&'s for the THIRD time and I go directly to Byron saying what I&'ve said the past 2 times he claims &"it&'s not us it&'s smart sales&" which they&'ve told me every single time that it&'s never their fault. I tell him to call them and see what&'s up turns out my couch was going to be hers till NOVEMBER ! How did it go from 3-6 weeks to 3-5 months?! When he calls the delivery lady he has it on speaker and the lady says &"it says it&'ll be November but don&'t tell them that&" LIKE WHAT ?! So I demand a refund and he tells me 7-14 business days guess what happens next.. 14 business days and still no refund , I go up there again how many times is that?? 4?? He claims AGAIN not his fault smart sales what are you here for Byron if you never know what&'s going on?! NEVER SHOP HERE !!

I was having issues with my furniture being delivered and wasn't having any success with the 800 call takers. I made contact with the local store Manger and he corrected all the issues in a professional manner. I would have given a 5 star if it wasn't for the delivery issues.

So we ordered a bed set right and sheduled a delivery for a specific date , on that day they changed the delivery time 3 times (no big deal I know that happens )but they canceled it then when we called asking but they beat around the bush stating reasons it couldn’t be delivered was from it was ticketed wrong, the headboard wasn’t at ware house , hurricanes , the delivery team canceled it . So we called 3 days in a row trying to figure it out after being told we would be getting someone call back and confirm the next day or later that day (The call never came) Eventually we got to a customer service service person who started to make sense and it got better when he called the ware house and store and talked to them , but at the end of the day we had to reshedule our delivery date and try to make it happen with a new born and a hectic work shedule, in store wasn’t bad but delivery was a night mare

Horrible!!! Do NOT shop here. They scheduled my delivery 3 weeks later than the original arrival date, then I waited home all day that day and called was on the phone over an hour altogether (including the first call where the guy hung up on me because I was upset after he told me he “had no idea where the couch was”) they tell me it hasn’t even shipped. They do not value your time and will not be reliable. Buying furniture should be fun and easy!! Not on the phone fighting with people to keep their word. Will not be shopping with this company ever again. Customer service was embarrassingly bad
If I could give negative stars, I would. This is the most incompetent store I have ever seen in my life. They screwed up my order big time and continue to try to charge me for items that I never received. I went to the store several times to have this issue taken care of and I get told the same thing every time that "I'll get it taken care of". Even after speaking with the manager, still nothing gets done. I'd advise everyone to stay away from this place!! They are a rip off!!!!

If y'all are wanting new furniture don't use Ashley furniture store... on July 3rd my parents spent over $4,000 there and now it's not expected to be here until late October at the earliest. We also got some furniture on the same day from Room's to go and got it July 25th. So that might be the place y'all want to check out. They were told originally when they purchased the furniture it would be 2-5 weeks now as of yesterday we're being told it will be 7-9 weeks from yesterday. We are very unhappy and disappointed on how they choose to do business.

Ordered a couch in store July 4. Was told because of Covid the deliveries were backed up and was tentatively set for midAugust. Fine, we will make do. Was receiving weekly updates on the tentative delivery with a promise to get in touch closer to the date to set the time....until this week, the week of supposed delivery. I tired an online chat and was told by the agent that they couldn’t find my order and booted me back to the virtual agent without allowing me to ask any additional questions. Now I’ve been trying for 2 days to reach a live person and every time I call I sit on hold about 20 minutes and then they hang up on me. So unprofessional! I’m extremely disappointed. All I want to know it’s when we can expect our couch. We are a military family who recently moved to the area and have had no living room furniture for nearly 2 months!
Was welcomed and assistanced as soon as we came through the door. Staff is very knowledgeable and listened to exacly what we wanted. Overall, very satisfied with the professionalism of the staff and products we purchased.
If you are buying clearance items you can only pick up the items certain days. Monday and Wednesday I believe. We only had a trailer to use on a Saturday to move the furniture. They made a huge fuss about us picking it up on Saturday even though they weren’t busy at all. Only our sales associate Renada was helpful. All the other employees just sat there and watched as my husband and father moved it out of the store. Apparently they don’t deliver clearance items from there showroom. I don’t think they are payed on commission or they would care a little more about selling furniture and letting customers pick it up when it is convenient for the customer. I bought a table from an Ashley HomeStore in Draper, Utah and had a lot better experience at that location then at the Temple, TX location.
We found a bed frame we really liked. Rhenata was great, if a bit sassy. Coworkers, manager mike, super lazy and unhelpful. We fully self loaded the bedframe we bought with Rhenata help, while her coworkers watched uselessly.

Awesome in store appearance. I go there and never have a problem. The best customer experience I've had at any Ashley store.... The problem is the delivery..ITS ALWAYS BAD... I've had to send away a bedroom set 3 times because they sent damaged furniture and then today I only received part of my order. Nothing saying it would be delayed or on back order. While the in-store experience is awesome it's not worth the pain of the delivery process... Take your money elsewhere.
Very disappointed in the service we have received. Ordered a couch 6/11. Got a text for a delivery date of 7/24. That came and went with no communication. I called and said that now it was moved to 8/7 and that I should get 48 hours notice of a delivery time frame. Still nothing. Called today (I should also add each time I’ve called I had to wait on hold for 30 minutes), and was told that the couch would come in separate pieces and the last piece wouldn’t be at their warehouse until October. I understand delivery is backed up because of the pandemic and I have been patient up until now, but that is unacceptable. The least they could do is give a courtesy call or email, SOME form of communication on their part to let me know what is going on. Basically I paid over 2k for a couch and walked out and haven’t heard from them since, unless I called myself and waited forever. Each time I spoke with someone there is no apology or any effort to help me out. Definitely got the sense they could care less about it. Will be requesting a refund. Do not want to support a business that could care less about customer service. I should also add the couch I ordered was front and center on display right when you walked in the door to the store. It baffles me why they would choose to display this knowing that it probably is undeliverable.
In short, if you want the product you ordered delivered on the correct date, order from somewhere else. If you want to actually speak to a customer service rep and not get the run-around, order from somewhere else. I ordered my bed frame online on May 23, and it was supposed to be delivered June 23. As the date gets closer, I receive a text saying to expect a delivery timeframe 24-48 hours prior. I never received a timeframe and the product was not delivered on the scheduled day. The day after it was supposed to be delivered I received a computer-generated email saying the delivery date is now July 16, nearly 2 months after I ordered my bed frame. I tried to contact customer service but I got transferred to four different people for a cumulative hold time of nearly 3 hours, and I even tried to live chat online with a rep. Not one person could help me figure out why it was pushed back or why I wasn't contacted until after the initial delivery date. In addition, the last person I spoke to straight up lied to me and said they didn't have my product in the warehouse without ever asking for my order #, name, product type, etc. If I had known it would take 2 months to get my product I would never have ordered from this company. I will not order from Ashley in the future. UPDATE: It is now August 5th and I have still not received my bed frame. It had been pushed back 4-5 separate times, each time with me receiving a delivery date and timeframe 1-2 days prior, then having my hopes dashed because when delivery day arrives it always winds up delayed again. I have spoken to probably a dozen customer service reps and all they are able to offer is a "sorry." I wish I would have cancelled months ago.
We found a bedroom set online cheaper then in store. We went to the store to see if they could match, since we would rather do business in person. They told us it’s better to buy in store then online because if there are any issues, they can help us whereas if we ordered online, they could not. So we purchased a set in store a month and a half before it would be delivered. Getting closer to delivery time, we called to check on the status and to confirm the date. It was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get through to anyone at the store. So we went up there to speak with the manager that helped us. Manager said he was only helping the store out and he couldn’t do anything. Finally we were able to get ahold of customer service and they said they weren’t even gonna get part of the bed until 7/7....6 days after it was suppose to be delivered. Beware of purchasing if any kind of customer service is needed. You will get passed from person to person not willing to help. Very frustrating and disappointed. I would recommend a different store. Update 1 star is being too generous for this horrible company. Ordered a sectional on 7/2/20 with a delivery date of 8/15/20. Called for an update today and it took forever to just get ahold of someone in the store. Got connected to someone and was hung up on. Called back and had to wait once again. Finally someone got on the phone and asked an update on my order. They told me it would be delivered no earlier then 10/24....that’s almost 3 months after we put in order. We did not get an update of any change and we had sold our previous furniture since we were almost a week away. A manager was suppose to call me back and never heard anything. I got on Ashley’s website and did live chat. The customer service rep, Nelshana, did not care at all. I asked how I would go about cancelling the order and she said there will be a 10% cancellation fee! After being told I would get my furniture 8/15 and then finding out after I had to call for an update it won’t be here for atleast 2 more months...and they want to charge me a 10% fee. She said she would apply the fee and I would have to go into the store to complete the cancellation. Of course I’m not gonna proceed further, that’s so wrong! It’s funny they took my money in full immediately after purchasing it, but they can’t keep there end of the deal on delivery or even keeping me updated. Then holding a 10% fee over my head. This is just wrong. With such horrible customer service and empty promises, I’m not sure how this company can stay in business.
After having a really terrible experience with conns home store , and having that order canceled my husband normally passed over ads on u tube and twitch , today he did not and showed me the ad for ashley home store I am so glad he did he went searching and for girls showed me this loveseat that had led lights and said watch the video I did and said I want this one , took and uber to the store and prayed the whole way there that it would not be a wasted trip 😀 the store manager Mike and store associate Rhanada were very helpful and both went above and beyond to obtain the item at not only the price I could afford they apologized for the behavior of another company wow just wow I will definitely be giving my business to Ashley from now on , conns you might want to pay attention to this , thank you so muchbto ashley home store for your amazing and above and beyond service you are going to have our business for a long time now , we are so excited for our product , i encourage everyone to check out ashley they have a lot of financial options and they will take care of you plus they are Christian
It was easy to pick out furniture we needed at the Temple store. Unfortunately, that was July 6th and still waiting on the delivery of our furniture. If you try to call the store regarding the update of your furniture, forget it. You are placed on hold for like 10 minutes, then it automatically hangs up. My husband was on hold one time for 45 minutes and it hung up. Poor customer service trying to find out about furniture supposedly to be delivered, it’s like once you purchase they don’t answer their phone. Just found out it won’t be until Sept. til we get our furniture. How ridiculous is that.

Ordered couch on May 5th is now 29th July they been pushing back delivery every week and today was supposed to be delivered 100% I again cancel my work stayed home all day finally called them to ask where&'s delivery guys at and they said is again rescheduled for another few weeks so I went to the store and canceled my orderedThey just wasting people time do not use them!!!They lied to me said delivery will take 1-2 weeks is been 3 months and nothing but wasted time and money!!!

I have been receiving a run around on my night stands for over a month. Multiple lies. The GM of Temple doesn’t have the courtesy to return a call. Customer service hung up when I questioned what was going on. Absolutely disgusted with this situation. I will never buy from Ashley’s again.

Ordered a couch May 4th, received it about 4 weeks later. The couch that we were expecting was wheat colored, the couch we received is grey!!! On May 29th the salesman let us pick a different couch with the agreement that we would not use the first couch, and that the swap would be made on June 10th. Then that date got pushed back to July 22nd bc the couch was on backorder. Fast forward to July 16th, I get a text message saying my delivery was being delayed. Called them, transferred multiple times, was on hold for extended periods of time, to finally be reassured that our couch would be delivered as scheduled on July 22nd. I received 2 different confirmation text messages with a tracking option on July 21st. Today is July 22nd and not only did my couch NOT get delivered - but also no one made any attempt to contact me to tell me it wasn't coming! Called customer service, was again transferred multiple times and put on lengthy holds, only to be told that I need to go to the store where the purchase was made. So i spent my lunch break going to the store only to be told that they will have someone in the "war room" (whatever that is) call me by the end of the day which also did not happen! So here we are TWELVE WEEKS after spending $800 on a couch and we STILL do not have it! Oh, we do still have the wrong couch but it is pushed up against a wall covered in blankets and we do not use it bc it has to be in "showroom condition" for them to take it back. I will NEVER spend another penny with this company! I am now being told that the couch will be delivered on August 12th, so that will be 15 weeks after we paid for it!!!! Unacceptable!!!
My family had the best experience today at Ashley. Jill helped us select just the right items for our new home, and was able to get us the best price they could offer! All of the staff were so helpful and polite, it made it a great experience. I also am relieved to have gotten their warranty which will be refunded if I don’t use it! Five stars!!
Before any of you buy anything from Temple Ashley READ THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT. We bought our couch 4 month a go with the deal - pay off $1.759 in 90 days and that would be it!! After paying it off we found out that we still owe the money and total cost of the couch is $4.000!! We would never buy the couch for this kind of money, we simply can't afford it. Read the contract!! People are not honest over there! We were rushed to sign everything because the store was closing 😪 It would be better idea if everyone will find better place to have your business somewhere else. Not the Temple Ashley.

Although I did have a great experience the day I purchased my dining room set, I unfortunately am still waiting on one of my armchairs that was on back order. My dining set was delivered June 4, and we are now July 4, and still have not received it. I have called the store twice and was told someone would get back to me on when it would be delivered but have not heard from anyone. This has been by far the worst experience I have had on purchasing furniture. I will not be buying anything from them again.

Best customer service I received in a long time. Vincent took his time and listen to what I was looking for. He also kept me in my budget which was very important to me. Explain all the finance opinion that was available. I love I was able to choose the best one that fit me. Driving the extra 30 minutes was so worth it. Horrible customer service. Had our order canceled and rescheduled four times over the course of a month. Almost impossible to get in contact with anyone. Had called to confirm the delivery after the second canceled delivery, just to be told the next day that a confirmation didn't actually mean the order would be delivered that day.
Ordered my sectional with ottoman on april 24. Have yet to receive but only ONE piece of my order. They call 2 days before saying, &"oh sorry all of these items wont be delivered today&" with no explanation. I have called and emailed several people who have said everything will be delivered on June 26. Well low and behold I wont get it all tomorrow. How do you not know what is going to be in stock to be delivered WEEKS after I spoke to someone about it. This is the most ridiculous place to sell furniture. I have never had this many issues with ordering before. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. No one communicates or knows why things wont go on the truck. Not worth the time. And they wont give me a rebate on my order for waiting 2 months with no complete set. I have one seat in my living room for a month now.
I have purchased on two separate occasions at this store recently. Customer service is excellent, very helpful and friendly, even on the second visit when they were short staffed and were having trouble with computers. One drawback is availability issues, but given the current Covid climate i think that is it of their control.

I wasn’t going to buy anything because I walked in nobody greeted me, Carla looked at me & turned her head, then went to help someone who came in after me, 8 mins later renada greeted me & went to help her customer. I walked around for 10 mins and nobody offered to help until I was getting ready to walk out of the door, Mike caught me I told him why I was leaving & he apologized & offered to help me. I then made my selection, was offered a discount but I felt like I should have been offered more especially since I didn’t leave the store because of the non customer service & I paid cash price but I have to wait until 7/28 to receive merchandise because of COVID-19 smh Customer service is the key
I visited Ashley's to inquire about a recent purchase. Penny Wyatt was quick to help fix the order that had been processed incorrectly. She was very helpful and kind. She was also very knowledgeable of the furniture in the store. I highly recommend using Penny when you need to purchase furniture from here.

I have never had this much trouble with a furniture company. I have a current sectional from them that didnt work out so I ordered something else on the phone with an associate from this store. I ordered it April 24 and it was to be delivered June 9. get a call on the 6th of June stating that only two of the FIVE pieces that they have OVER A MONTH to get ready would be available on the 9th(mind you I already got rid of my current couch). So I was okay with getting the two pieces and waiting until the 17th for the rest. The day of the 9th comes and low and behold they only have ONE piece available. How, just 3 days prior you all had two pieces? where did it go. No notes or information to explain this. Called customer care and they told me they do not handle complaints. WHY DO YOU HAVE CUSTOMER CARE IF YOU CANT COMPLAIN??? So I called the store I ordered from and because my one peice was on the truck they couldnt see my whole order. makes no sense. so then I had to wait until June 10 to call back and when i did, I was told the other pieces are no longer available on the 17th but now on the 23rd. I want my money back for this couch and I want them to make it right! no communication. I am a nurse and work nights and having to call all these people during the day sucks. I need this to be handled and I need a concrete date for all of my furniture. I have a truck I can come get it myself if they cant be competent enough to ship it to me. DO NOT GET A COUCH HERE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
Purchased sofa, loveseat and ottoman in 2017. Sofa main frame has broken twice in that time. Sofa is basically used by one adult of average size. Ashley fixed it the first time because it was still under warranty. This time was going to cost around $200 for labor. Took half a dozen calls to both the store and customer service for them to arrange to send someone to look at it figure out the issue. Every call got a different answer about the process and our warranty. No one knew what to do. Hubby decided to fix it instead. Opened it up and frame was so poorly constructed the two main back supports had come completely apart. Very disappointed in this set. Looks good but low quality materials and very poorly constructed.

Ashley’s Home Store had everything I was looking for. The customer service was great and the selection was plenty.
Horrible!!!! Went in the day before they were going to close down due to covid-19 and bought a couch and loveseat. I believe his name was Mike Taylor, he told me it would still be able to be delivered on Friday (3 days after purchasing) but they never showed up. So they told me the following Tuesday it would be delivered. Also never showed. So we asked for a refund but corporate told us the store had to refund us. So we waited 3 weeks for the store to open for the people at the store to tell us corporate had to refund us. No one would refund us because they could never tell us if the refund has been processed or not. $2800 floating around, not knowing when we will get it back. HORRIBLE! Mr.Taylor has VERY bad customer service also.

Very satisfied with the store, the quality of the merchandise and the employee. However I was quoted a much shorter delivery date than what it will actually be. Just wish I would have had a better estimate when we purchased the couch.
I purchased from Ashley Furniture because I thought the products were of good quality and ease of financing makes it easy to get what you want, faster. You know, immediate gratification. However, after spending A LOT of money on a power reclining sectional over a year ago, I’m finding that it’s not worth it. The particular sectional didn’t stay connected and the armless chair tilts forward when sitting. This is a HUGE safety issue. AFI came out within the 1 Year manufacturer’s warranty period to connect it back. But after the pieces disconnected again, I had to call Montage Furniture (we purchased a 5 yr warranty, thank goodness) to come back. The technician told me that the armless chair couldn’t be repaired, he can’t fix the issue. So my claim was denied to do anything about it; AFI said they can’t do anything because it’s outside the 1 Year. The sectional has been discontinued to boot. To top it off, when you call the store to speak to a manager or supervisor, you’re told someone will call you back, they won’t give a name of a manager or supervisor. And you’re basically speaking to a Call Center who states they are Corporate. No return call either. HORRIBLE customer service! Needless to say, a BBB Complaint has been filled.

The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful but the woman that assisted my wife and I messed up so many things it was honestly embarrassing. She spelt my last name wrong and gave it wrong Over the phone even though it was spelled multiple times on multiple papers in her hand and almost charged me the full amount of my purchase instead of a down payment. Great store great staff just need a little more attention to detail.

Ladies and gentlemen, this place is awesome! My wife and I went here looking for a sectional. Miss Ranada met us and let us rome around without pressure. We finally found what we were looking for. I called miss Ranada over and asked a bunch of questions. She was incredible. The only problem was we couldn't get it in a darker fabric. However, the delivery was on time, and the 2 delivery guys were professional and careful. All in all this was a wonderful experience. And a special shout out to Mr. Lawrence one of the managers at the store. Great people, great service. Thank you for everything!!!! GOD BLESS.
Prices are reasonable. Service people are in a class of their own. Melodie, my sales lady, is who you should ask for when you go through the door. She will take you right to what you're looking for and to other choices. She makes the whole process easy on YOU and will cheerfully spend whatever time necessary to assure your happiness.

Shopping for furniture has not been one of my favorite things to do because I felt like I could never just browse without being continually accosted by sales staff. Brad Lancaster broke that mold for me today. He was very professional and helpful without being intrusive.
Be very careful if you shop at Ashley Furniture in Temple. They told us a queen sleigh bed cost 1,100 dollars. Then looked online at Ashley Furniture and saw it was 695. They were willing to match online price only after we found the online cheaper price. Went to the store in Waco. They were up front from the beginning. Bought our bed, dresser and nightstand at the Waco Ashley Store!

Wonderful experience buying a new couch and loveseat! Brad was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable with my purchase. I had looked around at other furniture stores and none of the salespeople were nearly as knowledgeable or caring. My experience was great. The sales girl was kind, courteous and knowledgeable of the various mattresses they sold. The assistant manager was very helpful in setting up the finance side but was every bit as courteous as the sales girl. I highly recommend Ashley Home Store for your furniture needs.
I am pleased to say, the previous store manager is GONE, which was a major part of the stores problem in my eyes. We purchased an entire living room set with TV stand in November, couldn't have it delivered until end of December. Then when it was delivered, the TV was busted. So needles to say it was return and upon being delivered again, it was BUSTED AGAIN. So, it's been turned and its end of January. Yup. I'm good now with a TV stand from Rooms to Go. Like I said, new management is in the house...I pray things change. Their delivery system is a hassle and almost pestering with calls, texts and emails. The delivery people are nice, but the sales people seem to pick and choose who they approach...that I will say. The finance team is on point and listen to their clients. This store could be better. 👍

We purchased a 3 piece sectional couch on Black Friday. This was our first time buying anything from Ashley Furniture Store. We had a wonderful experience at the store. We were told we would receive the couch within a week. That didn't occur. We received 2 pieces January 3rd. We were told the last piece could be delivered the next day. The piece was not. The piece got scheduled to be delivered January 13th. The store claims to be flexible within the scheduled time frame. The time frame did not work with my schedule and the delivery lady was very rude on the phone and said that they are unable to change the time. The delivery date had to be changed to January 17th. The lady was unable to give us a time frame. I asked to speak to a manager and the lady said the manager does not get on the phone with customers. A week before January 17th, I called Ashley Furniture Store to reschedule the delivery time. The lady told me that I would get my last piece at 3 pm, so I kept the delivery time. On January 17th, the delivery got pushed to 5:30 pm and I had to reschedule. I was told that I would have to call back to reschedule tomorrow, because they couldn't do it on the phone today. When I asked to speak to a manager. The lady told me no and that my issue was not valid to speak with the manager. After several minutes on the phone, I finally got through to a manager. She told me I wouldn't be able to get a reschedule date until the end of next week. It has almost been 2 months of not receiving our whole couch. We are very disappointed with Ashley Furniture Store and never want to order anything from them again. This has been a nightmare.
Mel was an incredible help to me and my mom while we were at the Ashley in Temple! She was super patient as we went back and forth between a few options, and she made sure to go the extra mile to help us decide. The store itself is set up phenomenally, and pricing/color options were clearly shown on all tags. We had no problems at all, and we’ll definitely buy from Ashley again in the future! Very satisfied with our purchases!

Still waiting on two pieces that were bought in October. After given the run around on pieces being back ordered, Ashley delivered twice. The first delivery (November) had one of the tables obviously damaged; not sure why it was even loaded. I guess they thought we&'d take damaged furniture. The other table was in pieces and truck driver refused to put it together. The second delivery (December), piece was damaged again and one was missing from the truck even though online it said it would be delivered and the driver said it should&'ve been on the truck. We&'ve contacted Ashley many times during this process, but you hear a different story from each person you talk to and no one calls you back like they promise. Even our last yelp review the Ashley representative said we&'d be contacted, but that never happened. Called again today and delivery has been pushed back to January 14th. Wish I would&'ve read yelp and FB reviews before shopping there because it&'s been a nightmare.

I had the pleasure of having each of them help me two different occasions with my shopping & purchase experience . Terri & Patricia went above & beyond to find great important information pertaining to my purchase. Also, each of them are very friendly, pleasantly positive , eagar to help . Also, Patrica & Teri both have a keen listening ears , and are very respeptive to my furniture needs , they both are very knowlegeable in their work fields. Been going here for 3 years to buy furniture, the staff is always friendly and remember us an ask how we are doing. Highly recommend this location. There's one only a couple of miles from us and this location is about 30 miles from us but always worth the drive!
TL:DR Don't shop here, they will screw you over multiple ways. If you do, don't finance anything, especially through Synchrony. Where to begin. I only post this because I have called 3 times (waited 20-30 minutes each time and was then prompted to leave a message), and left a message and sent an email, with no response to any of it. I believe this store has intentionally caused me to underpay my account and accrue all of my interest from a promotional period. Last year, I bought a set of furniture and a bedroom set. They set me up with two different financing accounts. They helped me set up auto pay and everything was good. HOWEVER. I got an email about the promo period ending so I logged in to check on things. PROBLEM 1: After logging in I noticed a 3rd account they evidently set up without my permission. It has a charge on it from days after we set the others up. I don't live near this store, and I couldn't have received my card by this date, so it had have been done by an employee. PROBLEM 2: I still owe $1600 in 30 days. This is because the autopay they helped me set up did not meet the payoff date. This wouldn't have been a problem if they ALSO didn't mess up my address on the same account. I haven't been receiving statements for only that account, or I would have noticed this months ago. I have tried calling, and emailing to see what my options are, but have not heard back, or gotten an email back. I know this part is my fault, but I also went into to LOOK at furniture, and was convinced to apply for financing, and convinced to max it out. BEWARE IF YOU ARE GOING TO FINANCE ANYTHING, THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT. CHECK YOUR PROMO PERIOD AND PAYOFF DATES UPDATE: I never got them to answer their phone or called me back, so I registered a complain on BBB. Their first response was that it's the financing group's responsibility. When I responded to ask how, I got a copy past response. Worst customer service. Then I called Synchrony bank and they told me they have no control over that, because it was the Seller that did all the paperwork and goofed. So I'm getting the runaround from both companies. UPDATE 2: I've been seeing them respond to others' comments here but they haven't bothered to respond or talk to me at all. They just don't want to fix their mistake.
We moved from California to Temple Texas and left a lot of furniture behind. So shortly after arriving we headed to Ashley&'s. I have to say that there is a HUGE difference between locations. While the sale lady was super sweet the rest of our experience has been awful. It&'s has now been 2 months and we still don&'t have all of our bedroom set. The last two pieces came today. While there were three delivery people only one brought our nightstands in the house. He damaged our door and both nightstands were in poor condition. One of them so awful I can&'t believe they even delivered it to us. All this after waiting two months and after spending over $7300. You can&'t get anyone to call you back from Ashley store itself. To say that we are not happy is a huge understatement. I would never shop there again! Buyer beware.

This has to be the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced at any store in my life, you immediately walk into the store and no one is even close to the door to greet you they are all sitting in chairs around the store or on the computer pretending to be busy. I ordered a simple night stand for my room and they messed up all the paper work regarding my pick up in the store, instead they tried sending it to a different address completely irrelevant to what I asked. I had to go to the store 3 times in one day to sort out the situation and then when I finally received the nightstand I bought, I was still being charged $75 for the delivery fee of the incorrect address. I just now went back a couple weeks later. Now I waited because I wanted to see if the $75 would ever make it to my account maybe it was slow? No they never processed it, so now I have to wait another week until I get my refund. After not being greeted again when I walked in or out of the store I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy into this store in Temple Texas. THE WORST!
Disappointed with the service in general. I purchased two bedroom sets, a dining room set and a living room set. I was advised by both sales and management staff that they would honor the online pricing from their website. When it was time to finalize the sale(s) they refused to honor the pricing because they offered a different sale in house that increased the price by 12%. I bit the bullet and made the purchases. I was advised of the the lead times of all the furniture and reassured they would be here by then. The deliveries were delayed and I was not advised about it until the last moment.

I came in and stopped by the office to check on a pick up for a family member and a young lady named Sophia ended up getting me a quote on other merchandise I was interested in since I believe other employees were busy. I plan on coming back because she was super friendly and helpful, amazing customer service!

I've been looking for a new mattress for some time. I knew what I wanted so I figured I would be in and out. Went in late right before store closed. Well my wife and I made a b-line straight for the mattress department and were met by Devin. Needless to say she knew everything we asked her about the products in the showroom. That helped make our decision easy. Bot the manager also came over to intruduce himself and thats where the fun began.for the next hour we simply chatted and had a good laugh. This made made purchasing easier as it never felt like a sales tactic. Friendly and no pressure Devin and Bot are the kind of people I would go back to time and time again. The store was nicely decorated and very clean. Even the delivery team who came and set up the bed were awesome and and extremely professional. Give this store a chance everyone here are great to be around.

Great customer service
This Ashley furniture has the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. To begin with I started out shopping at the Ashley's in Killeen and they ordered me the wrong bed frame and head board after I showed them the same photo numerous times, but when I took the frame back after opening it and realizing it was wrong the only other issue I had with them was they never contacted me to inform me about the status if my bedew which turned out to be discontinued and they refunded my money. The temple location knew I had trouble with Ashley furniture before, but really didn't seem to care. I purchased the bed frame I wanted again at this location, but my sales rep (Michael) refused to honor the original price I paid even though it was only a $10 difference and when I asked if I could pick my frame up from their location he laughed at me. After purchasing my bed I double checked to make sure they had ordered the correct frame and THEY DID NOT. I still have the emails to prove that they had to order the bed again. They did not double check the numbers associated with the frames. After this they gave me a receipt that said I could pick up my frame in San Marcos on august 11. I still have the receipt in my emails. I drove two hours from my home to the distribution center on august 11th and it was closed. I called them and left a detailed message which they returned promptly on Monday morning. They informed me that my head board would not arrive until two weeks later and that I could, in fact, have arranged to pick up my bed from the temple location. I called the temple store back to see what was going on and the rep that answered my call told me that Terry would call me back. I waited two weeks and never received a call from them so I called back. I spoke with another rep and she told me I could speak with Michael and after I informed her of the way he had treated me she put him on the phone anyways. I originally ordered my bed in the beginning of MAY of 2019 and did not receive it until August 30th of 2019. 4 months later and when I went to pick it up, the store manager, Louis, greeted me at the door and seemed to know nothing of what was going. All of the associated that I had dealt with to order my bed walked the other way after seeing me and Terry and Geri both did not want to load my Frame into the back of my car. When I asked if someone could help me load it they looked at each other and walked back into the building. No explanation, but came back out and refused to talk to me, only complained that it would not fit in the back of a 3 row minivan with all of the seats down and told me if it got damaged then they wouldn't be held accountable. Shopping here was absolutely terrible for me. I hope no one else has this experience. In all honesty, ZERO stars. I will never shop at an Ashleys furniture again.

Ashley's doesn't know how to take care of their customers when they make a mistake!! I selected a dinning table and they rung me up for a completley different one. so when they delivered it I was like this isn't the table I picked out. I went to the store to tell them hey y'all gave me the wrong table. So long story short they didn't want to help me or take care of me as a customer! They lost my business and didn't even seem to care!!

The store agreed to the condition of my purchase on May 22nd that the 5 drawer chest had to be delivered to the store by June 1st for my pickup. When I called early June 1st, it couldn’t be found and then I was given a delivery date of June 21st. I said this was unacceptable and to cancel the order since these were very plain terms under which it was purchased. I received my credit card and found they had charged me a 10% cancellation fee. It was 10% of the sales tax, 10% of the delivery fee and 10% of the cost of the chest of drawers. Protest was futile.
Bot was awesome! He was so patient with us and got us everything we wanted and worked with our budget. He didn’t seem like he was trying to make us buy something because it was more expensive, he genuinely wanted us to buy something we would enjoy. Will recommend this store and Bot to anyone looking for furniture!

We had a good experience while shopping in the store; however, I’m disappointed with Ashley’s customer service overall. We scheduled a delivery for 5/31 in the store and were told that there wouldn’t be any issue receiving our furniture on time. Today, I received a call from customer care saying that there’s been a manufacturer delay and none of the beds I ordered will be delivered until the middle of June. I have family coming out of town for my husband’s police academy graduation, and none of the beds I ordered will arrive in time for my family to come stay with us. I’m also 7 months pregnant and won’t have a bed to sleep on for the next three weeks after we move into our new home. At this point, I’m considering cancelling the entire order. If I missed a deadline at work, I would be counseled at the least and fired at the worst. There is no excuse for delaying shipments, particularly when you ensure that the delivery will be on time. This is, especially, no way to treat first responders and their families, either. To say that I’m disappointed with Ashley’s is an understatement. I won’t do business with you again.
One of the worst customer relations experiences I have ever dealt with. I would give zero stars if possible. We spent over $3000 on a new mattress, bedding, and pillows in Temple, Texas. We paid for delivery originally, and one of two of our pillows was not delivered with the mattress originally. Over the course of 1.5 weeks, I received or made a phone call practically every day because of the severe degree of miscommunication on their part. Originally, they confirmed that they would deliver the pillow to my house on a Friday. They called a couple days before to confirm the delivery for Saturday. I told them this was incorrect and that we would be out of town all day Saturday, so that would not work. They then changed the delivery date to the following Thursday to our home. On Saturday, while we were out of town, I received multiple calls stating that the delivery person was at our house with the pillow waiting for us to open the door- unbelievable. I called the following Monday to figure out what happened. They confirmed that the delivery was still scheduled for Thursday to our house even though someone had already attempted to deliver it the previous Saturday. I received a phone call later that day (Monday) from someone else stating that the pillow would be delivered to the store for pickup, as “they don’t deliver accessory items to homes without a larger item (aka mattress) in the delivery.” Well that’s funny because a delivery truck was just at our house on Saturday with the pillow and someone else confirmed the home delivery earlier today?? After the lady went back and actually read the entire list of notes associated with this whole thing, she apologized and confirmed (once again) that the pillow would be delivered to our house on Thursday. I asked how these phone calls were going to be avoided for the remainder of the week because I was really tired of having the same conversation every single day with a different person. She stated that she was going to put a note in a different place so there would be no more confusion. Perfect. I kid you not, I received another phone call on Tuesday morning from a different person stating that the pillow would be delivered to the store, as “they don’t make home deliveries for accessories.” I explained the ENTIRE thing again, and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was on a different phone call and was never put through prior to the end of the phone call. I finally gave up and said I would just pick up the pillow at the store. Side note-I was originally told that the local store was not accepting factory deliveries this whole week, which was why I didn’t want to do store pickup, because it was going to be an extra week before we got the pillow. The last person I spoke with confirmed the local store WAS accepting deliveries this week- so where did the first person get that wrong info from? Needless to say, we will NEVER do business with this company again. It has been nothing but a headache, and the customer service is clearly terrible. The fact that I have had to tell these people what is going on on their end every day for the past week is absolutely ridiculous, and pretty embarrassing on their part, in my opinion. And the fact that I spent thousands of dollars with them and paid for delivery, and they can’t even send me the pillow originally in my order shows they obviously don’t care about customers at all. My advice would be to take your business elsewhere to someone who actually cares about people and gaining loyal customers.

Excellent customer service experience with MELODIE SAWIN. Her "white coat" caught my eye as she approached me lounging in a Power Recliner with Adjustable Headrest. She immediately exhibited friendliness and professionalism. I knew what I wanted (recliners), however, Melodie was able to assist me as I reasoned on functionality, style, and quality of the different models. She was extremely patient with me as I needed to change part of my order after initially placing it. So much so, she stayed almost an hour past her shift to ease my concerns over the purchase and the requested changes. Melodie is a true Design Professional. I absolutely appreciated her concern and personal touch as we negotiated the purchase.

It has been over 3 weeks since the delivery guys deliveres my furniture unassembled . EVERYTHING that we bought is incomolete and NOBODY at the store would help us. we went to the store, we talked to the manager we called customers service, and nobody is helping us. it's so frustrating everything. Every single time they say they will call us back. Every time that we call they ask for pictures and sent emails. No answers. Oh! I forgot the most annoying part, one of the delivery guys were swearing loudly in front of my small children. please save your money, protect your family and decide to shop elsewhere.

I cement into the store ready to cancel an order over confusion, however Manager Bot Holland and Employee Sophia turned my entire frustration and anger around! I can honestly say that the staff here at Ashleys believe in Customer and satisfaction! I left completely satisfied!!!!!

I went in to pay on my bill and ended up looking at couches and was helped by an employee named Bot. He was very knowledgeable about the furniture and answered all my questions. He was patient also. I will choose him as my salesman when I'm in the market to make a purchase.
Very poor communication. Bot was my salesman, which talked to him once and never returned my calls. Spoke too 4 different people who all took messages for Bot and he never called back. Showed up to the store and Bot never came out, ended up getting a new salesman who never introduced himself. After all, was not satisfied with Salesman. Seems to me as if he is just trying to meet a quota.....

Taylor was so sweet. She was patient and ran the number on three different sets in the stores. She allowed me to pick the set which I wanted, and not the one she thought was best. She was kind and understanding. She worked hard to make me feel comfortable and found me the best deal possible. I left out of there feeling great about my big purchase. I would recommend her to anyone!!!!

I went into the showroom floor and purchased a bedroom set with a flyer that says "Available for Immediate Delivery." Not only did they not have an option for us to pick it up ourselves as to not wait for a delivery, we did not even receive a date for one of the components. Our estimated date for delivery was 3/18/19 although the purchase I made was on 2/24/2019 I am highly disappointed and tempted to cancel my order between now and then.
Thursday - Feb. 21 - purchased a floor lamp. Last one and a model. Got it in the Honda Accord and home. My only complaint is there is no book on how to tighten or change the bulbs and where to get them when they burn out. One of the five bulbs just goes round and round no tightening, like the other four!! Almost brought back but it's off the premises. Other than that, I could be a return customer 😋😋

Service at the Temple store was great, service for delivery was horrible. They expect you to take the day off and sit around and wait for them. They either won’t or can’t, depending on who you talk to, give you a late time frame to work with your schedule (sorry, I’m a teacher and can’t justify being out of the classroom for furniture).They sent an email and rescheduled for the EXACT same time frame as before and never called us to confirm. Needless to say, called to cancel the almost $6000 order and they didn’t even put up a fight. Great customer service Ashley Furniture.
I worked with Randa today and she was absolutely amazing being able to tolerate me being undecided about what i wanted. Nonetheless she extremely knowledgeable of all of the variations on the brands i inquired about and made sure she could find the best deals for me. My experience with her today was beyond stellar.
Ashley's has nice furniture and they will go the extra mile to get you approved. if you go there already knowing what you want it is a much faster process. the staff at the Temple store are friendly and helpful.

I had the new guy, which was fine, except that there were a lot of things he told me that turned out not to be true. He should have still been in training. He felt horrible and I understand to an extent but he should have had someone with him still helping. It was a little frustrating.

If chair had been in store, wouldn't have needed shipping. Manager didn't care - said that is the policy. RIP OFF!!!

My purchase has turned into a horrible experience. When I went in and found a couch I wanted they ran my credit and I was approved through 2 different places. One of the creditors informed me that I was approved for 1200.00 however, that line of credit would not be available until I received the card in the mail. The Ashley Store Manager suggested we go ahead and use that account anyway since the creditor supplied them with the account number. We finished all the paperwork and had a delivery date set up for Friday, January 25th. When I got back home with is about 40 miles away I received a call from the manager saying that I needed to go back due to the bank not finding the purchase because the line of credit was not approved until I received the card as they had told them originally. I went back the next day (January 23) to put the couch on the other credit account and after completing all the new paperwork I was told by the employee that I was still set up for delivery for Friday January 25th as originally planned. During this time I had returned the couch that I was renting from another store due to having a delivery date for the new couch. Friday January 25th rolls around and at around 4pm I still had no couch and had not heard anything from Ashley's so I called them. I spoke with a Manager who informed me that there was a credit hold and the couch would not be delivered until that cleared. I asked why I hadn't been informed that there was a hold and was told that the employee should have told me this even though the paperwork that was printed still showed the 25th as the delivery date. I was later told after having to make several calls to actually track down the manager that the earliest delivery date would be Wednesday January 30th. After expressing my displeasure and threatening to call corporate and cancel my order I received a call from another manager saying that they had gotten approved to have the couch delivered on Monday January 28th. On Monday the delivery of my couch had arrived and when removed from the box the couch was damaged and I refused the item. I called the store again and spoke with a Manager to inform them that the couch that was delivered was damaged and asked when the next one would be delivered and was told they would not know until the damaged couch made it back to the wearhouse that night. The next afternoon (January 29th)I received a call from a Corporate Manager to schedule my next delivery. I was told Friday February 1st would be the next available delivery date. I told them if they could not get it to me any earlier they could cancel my order and I would take my business elsewhere. The corporate employee then told me that the delivery could be made on Thursday January 31st. I was told I would receive a text to confirm this delivery and as of now, Wednesday January 30th I still have not heard anything. During all of this the company has not offered anything other than an apology for all of my trouble in attempt to make things right. I suppose once they receive their money and make the commission they don't care what happens with the customer. As of right now I do not plan to do any further business with this company nor do I recommend anyone else to this place. I will update tomorrow as to if I actually receive the couch and what condition it arrives in.

Have never in my life done a review or what ever u call it on anybody so i guess today is the day lol 😂 so on 1/20/2018 the hubby and i decided we needed a real bed since we where sleeping on a air bed 😒 so that day we decided to go to aarons but it was closed un sundays 😢 even dough i had gone a day before they didnt have much to show and cutomer service wqs the worse 😒 very disappointed but they did say that what they had online came from ashleys furniture so aviusly i had to tell hubby to go and see if we got a aprroved and thank god we did devin was the nice lady that helped us out she was super patient showing me a the beds and matreses she even helped me choose the right one ☺️ Which i was happy about i give her a 10 plus 60 plus 1 billion she was super helpful and very patient she showed me all the diferent matrese they had till i finally decided which one i liked more thanks devin ur the best and the manager he was super duper nice and friendly thanks 🙏🏼

First, I would like to make clear the reason I am giving 2 Stars is because of the great people in the Temple store. They do their best to take care of you and you can take the manager's word to the bank (that solid). It took too long to receive the furniture and once we did, the power lumbar quit working within 2 hours after receiving it on the loveseat. I called the corporate office service line to get a repair or replacement. I waited 20 minutes on line until finally just hanging up with the computer generated promise they would call me back( I called 3 separate days). They finally called me back after almost the close of business on the 3rd day. By then it was obvious, the customer care at the corporate level is non-existent. By this time I was so frustrated and it was clear the corporate office cared little for customer service after the sale. I went to the temple store and the manager said he would do what they could to make it right. We looked for something that my wife liked and found one item. Unfortunately, they could not give a delivery date but we were assured they would get it. Normally I might have agreed but not trusting the corporate customer service, I declined and requested my money back. As good as the Temple Managers word, a refund was processed. It took the corporate another week to process the refund back to me. Again, I believe that if the corporate office took customer care as serious as the people in the sales stores did, than maybe this would be a much better furniture store. This is just my personnel opinion though.
Customer service is AWESOME. The manager rearranged furniture, and added/subtracted items to a particular collection on the showroom floor so we could make the best choice.
I was in the store a few days ago. And worked with a sales woman, Devon. I had told her that I would leave a review and had a mishap with my service provider. But anyhow. The store is beautiful and the staff is professional and kind. They really know their stuff. 100% recommend this store. 10/10

Never, never, never again. Buyer beware. I have yet to receive the piece as ordered over 15 WEEKS ago. Misinformation has been the general theme. The sales person was friendly enough. The actual act of purchase was very quick and that is when the process broke down and satisfaction ends. No calls, delivery dates being canceled (by Ashley) piece is in, piece is not in, delivery truck too full, one part of the piece is broken (not manufactured correctly according to the tech), etc etc. I will neither shop nor recommend this store to anyone ever. Was just notified of a new delivery day and THEIR change of time.

Awesome customer service from Melodie and store manager Lawrence. I really liked how neither of them were pushing us into buying anything. Who likes the pushy salesperson? Melodie showed us the variety of mattresses and let us choose what we wanted. She showed us the different options we could go with and what they all entailed. We even went ahead and upgraded our dinningroom set. AWESOME AWESOME AWSOME. Highly recommend Ashley's Furniture and any of their sales associates.
