My fiancé and I went into Ashley's to browse and kill some time before another engagement we had. As soon as we came I. We had a salesman following us everywhere we went even after explaining we were just looking. Finally fiancé told him he didn't need to. We walked around enjoying our tile looking and came to a sectional that we both liked immediately. It was on sale so I told her we should get it. I went and got the salesman. He then told us we would get a free TV with the purchase. We'll that was unexpected and a bonus. So we got everything set and my fiancé asked about throw pillows. The manager came over and told her he would have to charge for them but might could work something out. She looked around and found some she like. The manager told her that each pillow was $50. He decided he would sell them for about $30 each. She passed and mentioned the that at least we would get the tv. The manager then told us no on the tv because the sectional was on clearance. Our issue with the situation was we were told by the salesman that we would get the tv with the purchase of the sectional and the the manager said no. Why did the salesman tell us we would to begin with? Should he have already known that certain salesman items were excluded? The worse part of the situation was we financed the sectional and when I agreed to have them run my credit, they did it twice and opened two credit cards. Why wasn't it done once and why wasn't I told it would be a credit card to begin with? Also, a $250 delivery fee sees pretty high too when we live in town. We bought the sectional and are very pleased with it. We would purchase again from them. We are unhappy with being told one thing about the bonus of getting a tv and then being told our item is excluded from the promotion. Simply don't tell us we would to begin with. Be more informed. Run a person's credit once or tell them you need to do it a second time. Tell them your financing is on a credit card. Dont open two card accounts if you are only using one. Communicate better upfront instead of after the fact.

Sara was amazing! I went in with a preconceived idea of what I wanted, and when the set caught my eye; she immediately said let’s sit down! Awesome customer service and can’t wait for my delivery! She even carried a pillow around to match with recliners!
