DONT SHOP HERE. Today I have reached out to corporate so let's see what happens. Poor service , several employees dropping the ball, especially when they have a driver for their company, Alexander Rojias from Dallas 981 distribution center who lied by falsifying a story and refused to deliver the chair to my dad who is in memory care. Shame on him and the whole company. ASHLEY FURNITURE INDUSTRIES DOED NOT HOLD THEIR FAILING WARRANTY COMPANY TO DO THEIR JOB AND HAS SEVERAL EMPLOYEES WHO DONT KNOW PROPER INFORMATION. I'm still fighting them on this but I'm warning everyone I can to stay away. It should not be this taxing to get basic customer service. I've recently heard other horror stories and encouraged others to speak out and write reviews. I hope I'm able to get a resolution and speak to upper management. However, I won't hold my breath. Ashley is labeled 1.1 with the BBB which is an appalling rating. My only hope now is that Jesus intervenes and handles this and all the individuals who have done wrong. And Ashley Furniture, don't bother with the "we're so sorry for your experience, please call us" comment. I've called everyone short of the Pope to get assistance but y'all have failed at literally EVERY LEVEL.

Very disappointed. I was told my item would be delivered on 2/4 left work early never received a call or texted that they were not going to deliver today. Received information that next appointment is scheduled for Saturday however talked to Kat at customer service and said it wasn't even at the store it was still at the warehouse and wouldn't be delivered until the 10th. Reached out to sells person trying to get correct information and have not received a call or text to confirm. I was told the item we bought was a display sale but customer service said it's coming from the warehouse. We paid for the item not financed so very disappointed.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I was lied to about the initial delivery date. Had to wait a month for the 2nd delivery date. They canceled that 2 days before delivery. Had to wait a week and a half for the 3rd delivery date. They canceled that one 2 days before delivery. Missed two days of work because I had asked off and they filled my spot. The 4th delivery date was promised by the VIP team to be after 5pm so I wouldn't miss work. 1 day before delivery They tell me they cant deliver after 5pm only between 930am and 1230pm. I told them I cant do that and they promised I would not have to take off work. They apologized and and said they would get it right the 5th time. No thanks if buying your top of the line flagship couch doesn't mean to your company it definitely doesn't mean anything to me. You can keep it. In response to the owners reply: I have called that number multiple times with no resolution to the issue. Except that if I cancel the order it will take 60 to 90 days to credit the account. Not impressed at all.

Great customer service

Jordan and Tucker really listened to our needs and wants. They took their time to show us several options and explain all the features of the different pieces. They took the time to really get to know us to make sure our choice would fill all our needs and wants. In a word they were awesome. What a pleasure to deal with them both.

I purchased several items, including sofas, a dining set, and an armoire. I was told the items were set aside for us, but days later I was contacted and informed that the sofas had been discontinued. When I went back to the store and asked to see the receipt on file, I was given numerous excuses and was told it would be emailed to me, which never happened. In the end, I was overcharged. I contacted Ashley’s customer help center, but they were unable to assist and told me I had to go back to the store for help. I have been a customer for years, but thats over, I will never be returning.

Our sales person, Aaron, was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He explained advantages and disadvantages of several types of mattresses. I've bought many pieces of furniture with Ashley and I'm always pleased with the quality and price. I DO NOT LIKE the recording that you get when trying to reach the store, requiring that I speak my zip code. I will not speak any unnecessary due to all that is going on with AI. PLEASE CHANGE THAT!

Furniture is lovely and staff were so helpful with giving duscounts where they could. Made it easier to afford.

It was time for a new mattress…well, past time.😳 Jake was patient as I tried multiple mattresses and then brought my husband in who also had to try several mattresses. He was also knowledgable and helped us make the best decision for us.

Recently visited this store & was greeted immediately with exceptional customer service. Jonathan went above & beyond to help us get what we really wanted. Our furniture was delivered yesterday & we’re completely satisfied. Would definitely go back to order from them again!

The delivery address is ended up not being what I watched the salesman enter in on my order. I spent almost an entire day just trying to get help. We finally just cancelled the order. Then I got a call from a guy who said he would fix the delivery address to what was requested in the first place. After the all day struggle what a relief. They brought it to the wrong address anyway. Unloaded it in my 73 year old husbands truck so he can take it where it should have gone . I won’t do this again.

$2800+ couch started to fall apart 6mo after purchase. The bottom started to come out so theres a big bip. Unfortunately very low quality furniture. First time purchase at Ashleys for a new home and its a bad experience. The ottoman we received was not properly assembled the top is uneven and hangs on one side. You will not get quality here but you will pay higher price. There are better places out there. Wish we would've gone elsewhere

Highly recommend the Waco Ashley store. Everyone of the employees we encountered were courteous, knowledgeable, easy to work with, highly professional, and a joy to be around. Two special individuals were Darlene who was the store manager, and Mark who was our salesperson. Looking forward to receiving our new bedroom set! Store is good but the warranty is impossible. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. Ashley Furniture is impossible to work with..Twice I've tried to do warranty and twice they can't figure it out. I'd give 5 stars if I actually got service after purchase because I have two warranty claims that have never been addressed. Disappointed doesn't begin to discribe it. Edit: So we're at 5 months and still no help. Called the number to have them say they can help. Discovered they are rated 1.1 on the BBB website and it makes sense. DONT SHOP HERE. If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I purchased a couch 5 WEEKS AGO and still have not received what we purchased. Original delivery date was supposed to be two weeks from the date of purchase and the evening before delivery day, we received notice that our address wasn’t found and would need to reschedule delivery day…keep in mind on the day of purchase we gave specific instructions about address. After calling and speaking to several people, we were just told “unfortunately this is normal and people are upset all the time about it. The next delivery is 3 weeks from now.” We waited, confirmed our delivery and on delivery day were notified our delivery will not be coming because they don’t have our address on the delivery list. To say we are frustrated is an understatement. After taking time off work not once, but twice, and only receiving the run around when we called to express our frustration we will never purchase from this company again. Buyers beware, you may never receive items you purchase.

The sales person was Awesome! He was polite and very patient allowing me time to make my decision! Also, my sales person measured everything for me to make sure my purchase was the right fit!

Overall it was not a pleasant experience. We walked in and let the Sales Associate know 3 times that we were just there to browse and if we had any questions we'd let them know. After about 3 minutes of walking around we were asked again if we needed more assistance. We let them know 2 more times we were just looking and then they proceeded to have my wife follow them through the store to look at mattresses without paying our objections any mind. They showed us to a mattress expert (I believe) who was more than understanding about us browsing and told us to let them know if we had any questions. After walking off a bit longer the salesman came back and began harassing us once again this time about sofas. I let another associate know of this and they said they'd handle it and talk to the associate. Overall they had a nice selection, very sad I was unable to purchase anything do to a pushy salesman. We went to Furniture Row where we were allowed to browse in peace and quiet and made our purchase there happily.

Excellent service both times we recently came in. Victor was very helpful on first visit and did great follow up. Tucker has also been very helpful today by not only showing us different loveseat models but also measuring each one to make sure it fits our space. Will be return clients as needed. Salespeople where very helpful and went out of their way to get me what I wanted and financed $2,000 towards payment leaving me a monthly of $60.00 a month to pay

We walked in and was greeted by a salesman. I immediately responded, "we are just looking. We are just looking to be honest we have a lot going on and we will know when we see it." He gentle replied, "OK, we have a sale going on." He never bugged us but when I found the table I liked it was like he knew and immediately came to my husband and I. He went and brought over a chair from another set that was on the other side of the store just to see if we liked it. Jordan, think the spelling of name was different but anyways, we left completely satisfied with what we purchased. He made the process very easy and hassle free.

Mitchell was great! We walked in and he greated us immediately. He found us exactly what we were looking for in a recliner. Buying process was easy and everyone was friendly.

Update: I spoke again with customer service and they did fix the situation. They picked up the piece with the wrong side and delivered the correct one. I’m satisfied with the service The Waco store fixed everything.

In store had great service. Delivery was not good. Lack of communication about reschedule date, did not update with number given after error, delivery men were not friendly and no customer service, was bothered that they didn’t have room in truck for old mattress to be taken away when that is part of the delivery service. This is the second bad experience with Ashley’s delivery department and makes me no longer want to purchase from them for this reason.

Went to Ashley's this morning and had a great experience. Jacob greeted us, knew the answers to all our questions and made the process so smooth and efficient! Will definitely go back there and ask for him.

Truly disappointed on the customer service of this place. I was ready to buy a power recliner cash, on the spot as it was my anniversary gift to my husband. I felt ignored by the lady that said was going to help me out (she dissappear). The othe employees were just talking with the others. On our way out after feeling ignored, one of the managers tried to help but the mood to buy was ruined so we are on our way to another store. Again I'm dissapounted.

Ask for Cole, he did very well to run us through each demo of the furniture we wanted, and not to mention the Temperpedic bed demo with the Sleep Doctor was wondering. And making an entire list of everything we wanted and sent to us for going over in our free time.

Went in to buy a mattress and that is what I bought. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and listened to my needs and didn't try to up sell me. It as an excellent experience.

Aaron was absolutely amazing today. He helped us get the furniture we needed, and made the process as simple as it could be. 11/8/25 update the store is great the employees are great the product is way less amazing. The first day it was delivered we had a claim, then 3 days later another and a week later another all the electronics keep going out in anything we have purchased.. filed claims like we were instructed. Parts shipp a tech will be by to fix.... It's November 8 they were arriving to replace one said part today. They came in showed me a text from their office we will send you the part... All the parts that they have sent are sitting here waiting for the tech..... Worst customer service ever. Update November 11 2025. Customer service called to say December 13 they may have the part... This and the other product have been broken since September.

Manish was my sales person and I give her 10 out of 10... she was amazing. I had a whole house to furnish and she was by my side the whole 3 hours I was in there. Then I went back again to make sure what I had picked out was what I wanted. She stayed by my side again for a few hours. Not only that we have texted and talked on the phone many times... then when I noticed a price mistake after the contract was signed she instantly got it fixed when I pointed it out to her.... great job Manisha... I will be asking for you next time!!!

Johnathon Orta was great to work with. He let us take our time and he checked in often to see if we needed anything. He demonstrated on a sofa that a stain can be cleaned or washed and the stain goes away. He really listened to what we needed and even made changes after we finalized the order. And the furniture we picked out is very beautiful and great quality!

Don't ever buy something from Ashely. Their prices are deceptive, they're always cheaper online than in store and online offers free shipping. They don't honor their warrantees either.

Tucker and Kassy were so helpful to us when picking a mattress and frame. They were knowledgeable and we really enjoyed meeting them. This is our second time buying furniture from Ashley and both experiences were great. The financing options are extremely helpful, we got 0% interest for 5 years on both of our purchases and the payments are very manageable. I have to admit, I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else. I love the showroom and being able to talk to people who don’t push you around. They are genuinely kind and seem to care about you as a person. 5 stars, we will be back.

Extremely Disappointed with Misleading Delivery Information and Service. I am writing this to formally express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Ashley’s Furniture. While the customer service in person was at best mediocre, I did appreciate that the agent tried to help. Unfortunately, the larger issue goes far beyond effort—it’s about honesty and basic business ethics. What I experienced felt deceptive. I was initially told my delivery would be on Monday the 15th (or the 14th, depending on the conversation). Later, the date was changed to Tuesday. I agreed to that without objection. But after leaving the store and returning home, I received a text message informing me that delivery would actually be on Thursday the 18th. This last-minute change is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of transparency, and frankly, it feels like I was misled to secure the sale. Telling customers whatever they want to hear just to complete a transaction, only to change the facts later, is unethical and disrespectful. It leaves customers feeling lied to, manipulated, and unvalued. In my particular case, this isn’t merely an inconvenience—it’s genuinely harmful. I have been sleeping on the floor since January. I am a recent amputee, having lost my left leg. I made it very clear how urgently I needed this bed. Instead of being treated with understanding and honesty, I was given shifting stories and false assurances. This experience has completely destroyed any trust I once had in Ashley’s Furniture. Worse, this isn’t the first time I’ve had a serious misunderstanding with your company. It’s clear to me now that these are not isolated incidents but part of a larger problem in how your employees are trained to handle customers. If Ashley’s Furniture cares about its reputation and customers at all, it must train staff in proper business etiquette—most importantly, in how to tell the truth, even when it’s inconvenient. Customers deserve accurate information so they can make real choices. Because of this experience, I will not be shopping at Ashley’s Furniture again. I will also be sharing this experience with others so they understand what kind of service to expect.

Multiple options at the Waco location which I loved. I also love the fact that they will hall away our old mattress and in return give a new mattress to a child in need. I can’t comment on product overall yet but the sales team are top notch!

I am a little disappointed about a purchase my 89yr old mom made Mother's Day weekend. She purchased a power recliner and we initially had great customer service. After using the recliner she realized that it is too big for her and wanted to exchange the recliner, so we went back to the store, only to be told that we had to call another number since they didn't handle returns, exchanges or refunds. I have never heard of a store that doesn't handle any of those things. So now my poor 4ft 11in mom is stuck with a recliner that is too big for her and Ashley personnel won't help us try to exchange for something smaller. Buyer be aware before you buy!

It was great shopping for furniture at Ashley . The quality of the furniture was very well made. The customer service was excellent. My salesperson (Kansas) was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely would ask for her again.

Perfect! Our sales associate was so amazing, patient, extremely knowledgeable. We had so many questions and concerns regarding functionality, color and accessories. He walked us through the entire store several times. Also, went over the extended warranty in detail. At the end he explained the delivery, to ensure all functions worked properly on the furniture, scratches and etc before signing the delivery paperwork. What an amazing young man. Thank you Sir for helping my husband and I with our selection. 100% one of the best sales associate we have had the pleasure working with. Give this young man a raise! DON'T MAKE THE MISTATE I DID AND SHOP HERE! I have shopped at different Ashley stores for many years. Generally have had a good experience. However this Waco location is very poorly managed and the after purchase experience is horrible. The wrong furniture was delivered and now 3 weeks later they still can't correct the issue. I contacted Corporate customer service twice and they can only email the store which they did and the issue is still not fixed. Note: While in the store a customer was yelling at the Manager. Now I know why because the service is BAD!

I purchased furniture in-store on April 5 through a store manager who was able to offer a better price and payment plan than what I found online. During the purchase, I was told that my furniture would be available for delivery the weekend of April 11. Despite automated messages suggesting the earliest delivery date was April 16, both the manager and other sales associates advised me to disregard those messages, assuring me they were working directly with the warehouse to honor the earlier delivery timeline. After a couple of days without updates, I visited the store in person to express my concerns. I shared that I had previous negative experiences when sales associates instructed me to ignore the automated scheduling system. The manager reassured me again, stating the order would be split into two deliveries: the table and four chairs would arrive by April 11, and the remaining six chairs would follow later. I was encouraged not to worry and was told the situation was under control. Unfortunately, although the manager had scheduled time off—which I understand—no other team member reached out to keep me informed during their absence. I received a text confirming delivery for April 11, but something didn’t feel right that morning. When I clicked the hyperlink in the message, I discovered the delivery had been canceled. I immediately contacted the store around noon to speak with the manager. I was told the message would be passed along. After no response within the hour, I called again and still was unable to reach them. I clearly requested a return call before store closing at 9 PM. When I followed up once more that evening, I was informed that the manager had already left an hour and a half earlier. This lack of communication and professionalism—both from the manager and the overall team—was incredibly frustrating. No one took ownership to keep me updated, despite a missed delivery and a clear failure to follow through on what was promised. At that point, the automated system was now showing April 22 as the earliest available delivery date. The following week, I had to repeatedly contact the store just to receive basic updates. After several phone calls and conversations, I ended up scheduling the delivery myself through the automated system. The furniture was eventually delivered on April 22. On April 18, I contacted the manager to formally request that the delivery charge be waived due to the inconvenience and repeated communication failures. After not hearing back, I followed up again on April 20. Only after directly asking for an update did I receive a response—informing me that a 50% discount had been applied to the delivery fee. This was not what I asked for, nor do I feel it was a fair resolution. Given the level of inconvenience, unkept promises, and the amount of time I spent following up, the full delivery fee should have been waived to adequately compensate for the situation. At the end of the day, I felt devalued as a customer. There was eagerness to make the sale, but a significant lack of follow-through, accountability, and communication once the transaction was complete. If I had the chance to do it again, I would have placed my order online or worked with the Cedar Park location, where I’ve previously experienced far better service. I do not plan to return to the Waco location and will strongly consider other local furniture retailers going forward. I respectfully request that this experience be communicated to regional leadership. It’s important that those overseeing store operations understand how these types of breakdowns in communication and customer care affect long-term customer trust and loyalty. Very dissatisfied.

Stripped out screws drawer rail on dresser causes drawers to sag. Needs to be fixed Didn’t know in advance the bed wasn’t going to be delivered until I called 2 days before to confirm delivery. My old phone number was supposed to be updated and wasn’t that’s why i wasn’t informed. Didn’t realize the mattress was rolled up to to inflate. Probably wasted money on that to. Won’t last long. Not happy

Delivery was fast and on time. Guys did a great job. One issue with stitching found on couch but I know that has nothing to do with Delivery. So I will be getting ahold of a representative from my local store to resolve that issue.

I came in looking for a mattress because I unfortunately had a bad experience with the one I purchased from a mattress firm in June. Tony was the salesman who greeted me at the door and helped me find exactly what I needed. He was personable, patient, and kind. Before I selected the final mattress I landed on, he called over Jake to help answer some questions I had. Jake was also very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me narrow down my options to 1 bed in particular which the 3 of us decided would be the best fit for me. Neither of them pressured me to make a decision, rather, they put me at ease about my decision and answered all my questions (I had a lot). They both got me checked out and delivery set up. My bed it set to be delivered on Thursday, so i'm hoping that will be a smooth process. Maybe I can leave a comment following that experience.

I recently visited the store at 5600 Bagby Ave. Waco, TX location (Market Place) and, unfortunately, had an unsatisfactory experience. While I understand that customer service can sometimes be challenging, I felt that the manager on duty today was not as polite or professional as one would expect. In particular, I was disappointed by his lack of attentiveness to customer concerns and their apparent disregard for customer retention. Furthermore, I observed some unprofessional interactions with peers, which did not create a positive atmosphere in the store. As a customer, I believe in the importance of a courteous and supportive environment, both for customers and staff. I wanted to share this feedback in the hopes that it will be taken constructively to improve the service experience for future visitors.

On January the 11 went into this store and was greeted by Aaron and he was very helpful, and we decided to purchase a sectional.It was delivered on January 21st. Aaron was a very nice guy and enjoyed talking to him so much! Today is the 27 of January and this sectional is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever encountered!! I don’t like the way it looks in my room and I don’t like sitting on it! I went to the store this morning and Frank Burns greeted me and when I told him my problems he just said that they don’t sell used furniture! And if I would just give it a couple of weeks it would get better and not be as firm. I asked if he could just trade for a couch and two recliners and he again said we don’t sell used furniture. I really think this is pretty shitty since I have only had this furniture in my house for 6 days!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE!!! They do not care about their customers!!!!

We were immediately greeted upon arrival, explained the layout of the store, and advised that if we needed anything to alert the salesman, Aaron. We were not bombarded with questions, were checked on periodically, and our questions answered. We found the pieces we were looking for at great prices and with a fantastic warranty!

I recently purchased a new living room set from Ashley Furniture in Waco, TX. This purchase was the best furniture buying experience I have ever had. I came in multiple times to browse and compare prices. I was treated with respect and never felt pressured. Will never spend my money with this store ever again. The sectional purchase we had for 31/2 yrs started coming apart and sad thing is it was only me and my wife using it,hauled it to the dump.Purchaced 4 bar stools used an in store credit was lied to about the delivery of said items paid cash for the difference, called to was told it would be delivered in a week,called to find out it was put in a lay away plan and some how we owed $20 when we already paid cash for the difference from the store credit mean while furniture at the warehouse was sold and they had reorder the furniture to get shipped.The salesman was to call us back and never did so had to call back myself to find out all of the above,still don't have my furniture.The waco store only cares about sales not customer service and satisfaction.Ido mot recommend this store to anyone aswell as friends and family.

The headboards and footboard are so close to the mattress. It's impossible to stick your hand down there To lift the mattress to make the bed because the mattress is so heavy. I have cut up my arm in hand trying to reach down there to lift it..if I could just exchange the bed either the frame or all of it I would be better off if not, if they could just come get it and I can go elsewhere. Just purchased a $900 piece of furniture to be delivered to my home. They said that they would deliver it to the closest dry place and that I would have to bring the piece of furniture in and place it where we want it. I was fine with that as in my 62 years on this planet and literally thousands of dollars spent on furniture never in my wildest dreams. Would I expect them to drop off this box. Talk about some assembly required. Why did I pay $1000 if I’ve got to put the thing together?

Went to Waco's Ashley store on Sept 3rd and ordered a bed and mattress that was to be delivered on Sept 25th. They waited until Sept 20th and had the warehouse call me to let me know the base is on back order until Oct 9th so I would not be getting my bed as promised. ( I was told when I ordered that it was in stock). I called Ashley's furniture on Saturday and was told I would get a call back. I had to call 3 times to finally talk to someone. I was told Saturday at 7 pm that I would get a call by Tuesday. It is now 5 pm. No call and no one answers when you call the store. It ends up going to a call center who can't help me

The employees lie and are incompetent. They will lie about their policies and time of delivery just to get you to buy. Of course, when the employees spend all their time playing on their phones, its no wonder they don't know the policies. And when you call to follow up on the delivery they will ghost you. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! If you are reading this I am trying to help you.

Aaron was great fast and simple process

I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in February and was told they would hold it while our house was being built. We had no clue it would be July before the house was done but I stayed in communication with my salesman on the status of the house build. A week before we moved in I scheduled for my bed, mattress and two nights stands to be delivered on the 16th. I got calls and texts leading up to the date and even the day of was given a 30min window of arrival time. The truck shows up with ONE night stand and no other items. I have the store a call and she told me all my items besides the ONE night stand was on backorder and wouldn’t be able to be delivered until 7/26. Not one time did anyone tell me anything about anything being on back order or any items being delayed. Very unhappy and disappointed. Please do better with your communication Ashley Furniture!

I just moved to the Waco area recently and vistited Ashley to pick out some items for our new home. I had a great time getting my furniture tonight. Dealt directly with Tommie and Vannessa. Tommie was a great sales person. He took care of me, helped show me what would go best with my previous selection, as well as completing my set. He even discussed having the correct area rug to allow for color contrast of the furniture and my hardwood floors. He was able to work out the pricing to get me the best deals possible on all of my purchases. Vannessa made my purchasing experience great. She was well versed with the finance options and what suited my particular situation best. Very knowledgeable staff. Great conversation with the whole team about the furniture as well as the local community. Very insightful for a foodie like myself. Hands down 10/10 experience and would 110% recommend choosing them for your furniture needs. I went in close to closing and they were more than happy to stay late to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. Great people make it all worth the while! I will for sure be returning when I need additional items.

Does not honor repair contract wasted money

We order some chairs which we love them and the sales lady Kassidi Franklin was so nice and helpful. The financial part was terrible. I went to the back of the store and talked with Vanessa Pridemore the sales manger with Acima. She talked us into getting the chairs to be lease and worst experience do not use Acima or talked to her. She explained to us that we can get a certain payment plan but I found out it was a rip off if your total is $539 then you be owing over $1.000 or more when you finishing paying like it was for us. We got the bill and it says $38.67 a week for 1 year. So I called Vanessa and she never answered my call or responded to any my emails. We told her when first talked to her that we will pay it off before April 29th which was $200 a month making it 3 months to pay it off which was the deadline to pay the chairs off early. We hurry up an paid the chairs off April the 1st. So basically she lied to us about financing I guesss she was just trying to make a sale. I repeat do not use Acima you will be paying way more than you expected. I have been shopping at Ashley for years love their store but will never use their financing to purchase our furniture.

He expedited the numbers and process for me without issue. He even shared extra information about other items on super sale. Aaron made the experience worth while for my trip. Manager swapped product on us and I'm guessing he thought we wouldn't notice. We went into the store to shop for a new mattress and after trying a number of them we found what we liked but was a little too expensive and as we were about to leave the Manager said he had one in the back of the store that was close out model. Said it was the same just the cover would have different color, 3 times he assured me it would be the same one we wanted but they delivered a lesser one that we had tried but didn't like and refused to take it back. This ain't over yet....

The sales associate was very warm and friendly and kind and patient - she helped us find what we are looking for. The whole process was easy. Left happy!

I've bought several pieces of furniture from here. The qualities great, but this will be my last time shopping here. I let them talk me into using Synchrony this time, that's fine, it was a good deal. However, they sent the incorrect owed amount to Synchrony. I've started a case with Synchrony, chatted online with Ashley and over the phone with a manager at the Waco store. I was assured both times by the Ashley employees that it would be taken care of. They had the wrong amount of items listed as me receiving them. Here we are, 2 weeks later, payments are starting to be due and the amount owed hasn't changed. Im going to end up paying hundreds more than I should owe, just save may credit score. This place is no longer a quality, trustworthy store. Who pocketed the extra money?

Beautiful lay out, extremely clean, my only issue was with my initial greeter….i ended up being assisted by a man named Tucker who was very professional and knew exactly what he was talking about, very helpful. My INITIAL greeter on the other hand, Mara, was incredibly rude and actually asked me and my roommate to leave bc we didn’t know what we were coming in for (due to just having moved and looking for a bit of everything, not that she knew that bc she cut us off so quickly) and mentioned being in the area to eat and we were just looking to get an idea of prices. She was quick to ask us to leave and included calling us a waste of customers. I plan to be back to purchase a beautiful desk from Tucker within the week.

Mara was extremely unprofessional and tried to run us out of the store upon entering because we just wanted to look for now while waiting for our table at Buffalo Wild Wings right next door. She said that we would be a waste of customers for her because they take turns greeting people. After looking around for a bit, I actually found some things I’d like for my home and was helped by another very pleasant and professional salesperson (Tucker). After moving in a few weeks I plan to be back and do business with him. I hope they either retrain Mara or send her on her way because that’s no way to treat any potential customer regardless of their immediate plans.

Loved my experience with Jose was exceptional! He really went out of his way to make sure I had the perfect cabinet! It came yesterday and the delivery guys had to transport the cabinet up my log driveway since the truck couldn’t get past my gate. I felt so bad but they did an awesome job! I highly recommend Ashley and Waco and I’ll be going back to get a couch soon!

Ashley’s furniture is absolutely terrible! I physically went in the store and ordered a bed frame them on 12/27 from Jordan. It was suppose to be delivered on 01/03, but it wasn’t delivered until 01/11. - the first time it was delivered to the house, the warehouse had shipped the wrong rails to the bed frame. - the second time it was delivered, they still sent the wrong rails for the bed frame. - the third time it was delivered, they brought the correct rails for the bed frame, but insisted on taking the screws with them. Therefore, still couldn’t not put the bed frame together. - fourth time it was delivered, still did not send the correct screws to go with the headboard and footboard to connect to the rails of the frame. All this to say, I was having to wait a week each time for the wrong parts to be delivered. By the 4th time they delivered the wrong parts, I ended up just going to Ace Hardware and buying the screws. Frank (the manager @ the Waco location) has been terrible to work with this entire time. Not only that, they have a no refund policy, so I had no choice but to go out and purchase my stuff just to make it work. Everyone that I have talked to has had terrible experiences with Ashley’s Furniture. Please get your furniture elsewhere.

Overpriced furniture of mediocre-low quality, but honestly what I hate the most are the salespeople. And look, I get it: this is their job, this is how they make money. But I. HATE. walking into a store and being accosted by someone giving me the fake "I'm happy to see you, man!" song and dance. I can't even look at a piece of furniture without someone swooping in like a condor, all "Ohhhh my god, I see you're looking at this, we have this on sale! Hell, if you come ask me, I'll give you a discount on whatever you want!" (Yes. They all say that. It's not them being personally generous, it's what they're told to do just to get a sale.) It's all very fake, which is bad enough; worse, it makes me really uncomfortable. I don't WANT you eyeing me and salivating as I check the softness of a mattress. I don't WANT you making a beeline for me if I so much as lay my eyes upon a sofa. Give the customer your name at the start, get a feel for what kind of person they are, and if they're obviously standoffish, then LEAVE THEM ALONE unless they come to you. Seriously. I will remember your face. I know you need the commission. If I actually find something in that overpriced store that I want to take home, I will faithfully search that salesperson out, even if someone else tries to help me instead. If you don't mind salespeople, then go on in. It's a wonderland of bland whites and grays. (I did see a purple throw that I was in love with...til I saw the pricetag read $79. L. O. L.)

BEWARE!!! On December 29th, 2023 we went browsing for sectionals at Ashley Furniture Store in Waco, TX. We ended up really liking this specific sectional (item #s: 6762217, 6762234, 6762266) because of its comfort and it’s size. After speaking with the Manager, Frank Burns, he assured us we were getting this exact sectional, but in new condition from the warehouse. We ended up purchasing this sectional on December 30th, 2023. After about 3 weeks, on January 20th, we received all the items and were excited to try our new couch. After sitting down, we quickly realized that this sectional DID NOT express the same comfort as the one we tried in the showroom. The cushion support was stiff. We ended up unzipping the cushions and were perplexed about the material that was used inside. That evening, I wanted to make sure we got what we initially agree to, so I went back to the store and sat on the same couch we ordered and quickly realized the comfort did not match what was delivered, so I unzipped the sectional cushion to see what was inside. To my surprise, the material did not match and the seat support was different. This explained the comfort discrepancy. I was confused as to why we did not receive what we originally paid for. After speaking with their manager again on January 20th he told me there was nothing he could do as far as returning the sectionals as they have a “no return policy”. Ultimately, we were deceived as we did not receive what the showroom had on display. We are VERY disappointed as we thought this was a reputable business that cared about their customers. AGAIN, I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN AND MAKE SURE ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY DO NOT EITHER!!!

I have tried to like this place, but I just can't get there. I have bought a couch, and a mattress. At two different Ashley stores. Both have provided horrible service. Sales persons are great. A bit overbearing, but they are trying to sell you something. I went and looked at recliners. Salesman way to pushy. I didn't get them. Wasn't what I wanted, but he wouldn't be quiet long enough for me to tell him what I was looking for. The biggest complaint about Ashley's is customer service from what I have read. I get that. Their warranty deal is really a joke. Bought that on the couch. Never fixed the mark from when they delivered. I couldn't prove it. Now to get that discount because you never used it in 2010, you need your paperwork. Ha ha

Was charger almost double for my bed frame called after Christmas because it's the holidays and because the bed has been delivered I can't get the money back on my card they said it because I didn't call befor the delivery but I did not receive my summary tell 3 days after delivery with a extra almost $700 added to the charges now they won't help.....new review went back to ashley they tried again to over charge me for a couch and even said $1200 of the charge is for delivery most bs ever

The only concern that I have is that we were never told we had to pay for the protection plan. We were so occupied with the conversation that we never inquired about plan, we were told over and over it’s part of the price. However after looking at the receipt we see that we paid $299 for it. We felt like we were forced into this. If we had been made aware of the ungodly amount of money we would have not agreed to it. And here we sit with still no delivery date or even an estimated delivery date. The salesman was other wise great but there was never a mention of the protection plan costing $299 we were lead to believe it was built into the price of the chair that we already knew about not an additional fee.

The store delivered damaged furniture in June. I called the store when it was being delivered and was told I had to accept or decline the entire order and could not refuse just the one damaged piece. I accepted the furniture and signed the delivery receipt, notating the damage. It is now December and my furniture is still damaged. I have made myself available, on four occasions, for repair technicians to attempt to repair the damage. Each time they leave without repairing the furniture and each time Ashley tells me they are going to send another repair tech and have thus far refused to replace the damaged piece. I have spoken to the sales person, the manager and several other people in the store and they provide no resolution. I do not recommend doing business with Ashley Furniture. They do not stand behind their product or their word and you will waste time trying to get them to.

Manisha was awesome! Our house had burned down and was a total loss! She worked with us showing items room by room until we had the furnishings needed to try and piece our home back together. We were looking for an office desk. We went every single furniture store in Waco area and they had none , cheap ones or kid’s size. Ashley’s was the last store… Ashley had some finally!! Audrey greeted us with full smile and took us to the office display area. She offered us price match to website. Also she told us honestly that there might be more on the web as well. She was not pushy but offered something she may lose sales for our best interests! So we revisited her to order after we checked Ashley’s website at home even we could’ve just ordered it online. She was that good! She called us to notify delivery information for a follow up! When we received our desk, we assembled by ourselves. Then we noticed, it was manufacturer defective item. We called her again. She provided us customer service information. They asked us to send pictures of the desk. They decided to send us a new one. This time, they brought us assembled one from warehouse! What a thoughtful gesture! Delivery guys were cool both time too even we have multiple dogs!! Audrey called us again to give us delivery information and checked us if the desk in a good shape after it was delivered. Not a cheap desk but just one desk! She cared about her customer!! Great company to deal with with good design options. They hire good employees like Audrey and train them well. We are definitely going back to Audrey for next purchase!

I was very happy with my experience in the store. My sales person Sergio was very kind and attentive. He went above and beyond when I was trying out mattresses. I was cold and he gave me a blanket so I woukd be comfortable. He explained the mattresses in detail and and told me what to expect from each one. He was mostly concerned with my comfort and happiness with my purchase.

This a clean,high class store with a large inventory of furniture.Four stars due to their policy of charging an additional $60("delivery charge") to THEM from the main warehouse.I chose not to pay $160 for home delivery,but because of a "mix up",they offered to deliver it to my home at no charge,for which i was grateful, & the delivery men were outstanding & courteous.Overall, this was a good experience.

Purchased a dresser and a chest of drawers from Ashley's. Took two weeks for the store to get them from the warehouse, which they charged me a $50 delivery charge....to move the dressers from THEIR warehouse to THEIR store. We picked them up today and brought them home (45 minutes away...which is why we didnt have them delivered, they wanted $135 more to deliver them). Took them out of the packing crates to find they were not assembled correctly. The rails for the drawers were not screwed in and the drawers were hanging or gapped. $600 for each and my husband had to fix them BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN IN my house! That's BS! Called store, she said call customer service Monday. I have purchase lots of furniture from Ashley's, depending on what customer service says tomorrow we may not be back.

We had Sergio and he was amazing he helped us get what we needed not what he wanted to sell which was truly amazing and we left with the perfect bed.

Today is scarcely two weeks later, and all three pieces have been delivered. Given the superlative terms of their credit plan, we hope to find bedroom furniture in short order.

Outstanding customer care while in the store. The representative was patient and provided us all the information on couches and waited for us to make a decision. We are very pleased with out experience to that point. We knew it would be a while before the couch would arrive and were pleased when notified a lot sooner than expected it was ready for delivery. That's where with the understanding that COVID is taking people out of the workforce your organization should established better communication and delivery policies. We got scheduled for today Friday January 14th. We could not be told when during the day so we had to take the whole day off from work only to be called at 1130 and told "OH WE WON'T BE OUT THERE UNTILL TOMORROW BECAUSE (WE) OVERBOOKED DELIVERIES". If it wasn't that this is for our 84 year old dad to help his health and getting up and down you would have kept the couch. Improve your communication. Completely unsatisfactory on delivery for customer satisfaction.

Nice furniture! I was looking for a dining table. This one seems like a good option!

I have gotten 2 pieces of furniture here in the past year. Both times they said that it would be 8-12 weeks before they would be able to deliver the pieces, and both times it has taken over 12 weeks. I like the furniture, but the wait is ridiculous.

I bought furniture in April was told it would not be delivered until June then I was told July and then I was told August I went to a furniture store in bellmead on a Saturday at 4pm n was delivered by 6pm the same day Ashley's doesn't want to make money

It's well organized and welcoming, we were able to find what we wanted. Hunter was very helpful without "stalking" us. I had gone to all the other furniture stores in the area earlier in the week. Ashley has the best selection at great prices. We are excited to get our new loveseat!

Go see BAGE ANDERSON! He helped me to pick out and design my entire home. He was patient, funny, and kind throughout the whole 4-hour process even though we were there over an hour after closing to finish the purchase. All of the staff members were nice and courteous to us during our time there. I’m so excited for the pieces we picked out and cannot wait to see them in my new space in the next few months once construction is complete. Ordered a lot of furniture and it is really high quality and nice. Salesman MJ is very courteous and made everything go much more smoothly for my husband and I. Only complaint why it dropped a star is we waited 2 months for the bulk of our furniture and have to wait an additional month (who knows, maybe more) for the rest of it. That is disappointing.

My salesman,Moses was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and very patient as I asked him so many questions about different mattresses. I really appreciated the time he spent with me.

Nice store with a large selection of furniture, but most selections are for a large home, doesn't carry much in the way of small apartment furniture.

The staff was helpful without stalking or being annoying, and were very helpful when needed They have a fairly wide selection of most things, but a very limited selection of desks. The store was very clean and well laid out.

I wish there was a 4&1/2 stars option. Made a major purchase here, a very expensive bed (that i absolutely love) and had a minor issue with getting what i needed and was fairly sure i had ordered but somehow it had escaped being ordered. HOWEVER...management stepped in, sorted the problem and made things right and actually made sure i had what i needed by delivering it PERSONALLY!!! I like seeing that management isn't too important to make sure operations are smooth...i also like getting everything i needed and appreciated them going the extra mile to make sure i was satisfied.

So we've shopped here a few times in the past, and have also messed up our orders twice. The first time, we bought our sons bed from them about 3yrs ago. When the bed was delivered it was missing the staircase. They tried telling us that we didn't order the staircase with it and that the staircase was going to be a couple of hundred extra. You can't even get in the bed without the staircase,our salesperson wrote it up wrong and we had to tell them when we were sold that set that we were getting the set exactly like the one that was shown on display. They eventually said it was in fact their fault and they would ship us the staircase at no extra cost to us. Mind you we had already dished out 700bucks! We recently went back in to buy a kitchen table set for our new home. We ordered one with 6pieces, we also paid cash for it. When it gets delivered, its the wrong set! Its not the one we wanted. I contact the store and they say its out of their hands and we have to contact customer service. I called customer service immediately and it went to voice-mail. I left my name and number and they never returned my call. I tried calling them back a few days later and still no answer. I called within their business hours also. So we call them again today and finally got someone on the line. She said she had to verify with the store and would call us right back. She didn't do either one, after several hours of waiting we called them back again and no answer. We called the store and the manager said we would have to pay the difference in cost. We explained that they sold us that set that we wanted and assured us that it was the six piece and it was their fault. The store manager knocked a few bucks off and wouldn't budge anymore. So when you go and order something have them Double and Triple Check what you're getting! Forget trying to get through to customer service they don't care!

I WAS A HUGE AND LOYAL FAN OF LACKS FURNITURE, BUT THEY MOVED. ASHLEYS IS STILL A BETTER ALTERNATIVE, I ALSO APPRECIATED BEING TREATED WITH COURTESY AND RESPECT! AS I WAS NOT DRESSED UP, I WAS STILL TREATED LIKE A RESPECTABLE AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMER!!! NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!!!! AND ALTHOUGH WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY WITH CIVIL RIGHTS, PREJUDICE IS STILL LURKING, IN A LOT OF PLACES, BUT NOT HERE, SO THANK YOU!!!

GO SEE PAUL!!!! This was the 3rd place that day I went looking for a new mattress found a very informative, funny and carasmatic associate named Paul. He led me to 4 or 5 beds after a couple quick questions and I will say changed my life after I tried the lifting bed frame in Zero G. He gave us plenty of time to think and talk without being crowded or pushy needless to say I left with a wonderful new bed that day. if you have any furniture/bed needs GO SEE PAUL!!!!

Ordered our couch black Friday weekend. Was called saying our couch would arrive 2nd week in Jan. Never delivered. Called end of January to be told someone else was given our couch and our name was moved to the bottom of the list and scheduled to deliver end of march. Sales person could not figure out why we were moved to bottom of list. Asked to call us back. Now being told it will be here in 3 weeks. Believe it when we see it. No longer excited about this purchase.

My husband and I were shopping for a new mattress, Tempur-Pedic. We stopped by Ashley Home Store first with every intention of shopping around. Design Consultant, Bage Anderson, greeted us at the door. Bage spent time educating us regarding the various TP mattresses and allowed us to try each bed, etc. His knowledge of the Tempur-Pedic mattresses exceeded our expectation and this helped us make a more educated decision. Ashley Home Store was our first and last stop and this was thanks to Bage. Purpose of visit - browsing We are in the market for some furnitures and we wanted to see first hand the actual units. When we first came in to the store - we were greeted by BILL. And he was asking all these typical questions that sales people would ask. And we said, we are not buying anytime soon, just looking. We thought he will leave us since we said we’re not gonna buy that day, but he did not. He stayed with us the whole time we were there, which was really great since we can ask him questions on the furnitures. Some salesman would leave you if you say you will not buy on that visit. But he did not. He even told me try to come by often because once a month they hold a in-store sale. Now that’s stepping up. Disclaimer-we are still in the market since the house is not finish yet and we still have our old furnitures.

My Fiancée and i purchased a living room set in August from Ashley, we were given an estimated delivery around the first week of October. We called at the end of September to get an update on our furniture only to find that our estimated arrival would be the end of November/first of December. We didn't receive any calls or emails informing us of this change, which is basic customer service, and we asked them to make sure to keep us informed of any changes. Fast Forward to today Oct 26, and i call again just to touch bases because we still haven't received any notifications about our furniture and i want to make sure we are still on target for the end of November.. I call and talk to one of the sales guys and find out that, no we are not on schedule, but that my furniture is further delayed until NEXT YEAR!!!!! I am told that Hurricanes in the Gulf is the problem now. Ni completely understand that Covid has messed things up, and I can understand that if a factory is hit by a hurricane it will cause delays. What i CANNOT understand is why we couldn't get a phone call explaining the situation. That is just basic customer service. I can't beleive that Ashley cares so little for its customers, that it cant give even a basic level of customer courtesy. I am half tempted to cancel my order, and take my 4000 dollars elsewhere

We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley and could not be any more satisfied with their products and customer service. We bought a living room set in May 2020, and unfortunately because of the pandemic, we had made three months’ payments on the furniture and still hadn’t heard anything about it arriving. However, we reached out to our salesman, Bill Byars, and he along with the manager walked us through the issue and provided us with amazing customer service and a great solution. We will always look to buy our furniture from Bill Byars and Ashley Furniture in the future! Thank you for exceptional customer service!

Horrible place......... Nothing has changed at this store same scam different people. We tried one more time.... this time Manisha scammed us. We requested a table we were seated at.... Some how at check out it was swapped to a more expensive table. Table came in with missing parts. walked in and spoke with Manisha (on sunday). She stated that she will send out an email to correct the problem. Called 3 day later for a follow up. She never sent it, but did sent it while i was talking to her over the phone. Failed #1. Failed #2 was when we walked in on Sunday we notice we got the wrong table. The manager there fixed the problem. Thank you. Would not give me any thing to state he is fixing it or will fix it. The only thing i got from him was ..... I AM NOT MANISHA, IT WILL GET DONE. On July 9 my wife and I, along with her dad, uncle and brother visited the store. 3 bredroom set and a couch were purchaed. So it was about $3000+. Tony was very friendly, but he is a scammers. He gave us a delivery window on Aug 20-27. I called the 26th of Aug for a delivery status and was told by Tony that the date was moved back in Sept. I dug in to his new date info. The truth comes out. Tony received the info 2 weeks prior to my call. But yet he didn't even make an attempt to make a call on his end. I also found out that every Monday they get a shipping status update. These people don't care. They made their transaction and now its time to move on to the next guy. Its sad to say Ashley's has scammers working there.

Will not shop here again. Employees were nice and patient in the beginning. I know covid had slowed production. I have decided to stop waiting for my furniture. I went else where to purchase.

I've been waiting over a month for furniture I paid cash for only to call about it and be told that I'm going to have to wait even longer. I got every excuse she had scripted in front of her. I've had a fence built around my back yard, had the house painted and all kinds of work done but can't even get furniture that I've had paid for, for over a month, and was told if I got a refund I would have to be put back on a list! And YES, I am angry! Theft is theft, they took money and didn't deliver.
