The headboards and footboard are so close to the mattress. It's impossible to stick your hand down there To lift the mattress to make the bed because the mattress is so heavy. I have cut up my arm in hand trying to reach down there to lift it..if I could just exchange the bed either the frame or all of it I would be better off if not, if they could just come get it and I can go elsewhere. Just purchased a $900 piece of furniture to be delivered to my home. They said that they would deliver it to the closest dry place and that I would have to bring the piece of furniture in and place it where we want it. I was fine with that as in my 62 years on this planet and literally thousands of dollars spent on furniture never in my wildest dreams. Would I expect them to drop off this box. Talk about some assembly required. Why did I pay $1000 if I’ve got to put the thing together?
Went to Waco's Ashley store on Sept 3rd and ordered a bed and mattress that was to be delivered on Sept 25th. They waited until Sept 20th and had the warehouse call me to let me know the base is on back order until Oct 9th so I would not be getting my bed as promised. ( I was told when I ordered that it was in stock). I called Ashley's furniture on Saturday and was told I would get a call back. I had to call 3 times to finally talk to someone. I was told Saturday at 7 pm that I would get a call by Tuesday. It is now 5 pm. No call and no one answers when you call the store. It ends up going to a call center who can't help me
The employees lie and are incompetent. They will lie about their policies and time of delivery just to get you to buy. Of course, when the employees spend all their time playing on their phones, its no wonder they don't know the policies. And when you call to follow up on the delivery they will ghost you. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! If you are reading this I am trying to help you.
Super helpful, all the staff cracked jokes and were super interactive. Not only did I get what I was looking for but I had a fun experience.

My husband and I went to Ashley's Furniture to look at getting new recliners. We were immediately greeted and helped. While the gentleman was looking into information for us, we were walking around the store and we were greeted by the store manager. Upon my husband checking out, there was another employee whom struck up a casual conversation with me. It was nice to not be looked at as a human and not a sale! It was nice to have someone genuinely interested and listening to what we wanted. Tommie made the whole process was very easy and not stressful at all. We can't wait for our new furniture to come in!

We arrived 45 minutes before the store closed and ran the poor salesman all over the store looking for a sectional. Tucker reassured us that he was in no hurry and didn’t want us to make a rush decision because of the time. In the end one of his team members told him about a hot buy that fit our budget, color scheme, and needs/wants. Also, it was nice to walk in to see a friendly face with a smile and didn’t stalk us. In our conversation with Tucker we found out that he was from our small but growing community. Big thank you to Tucker and Ashley Furniture.

I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in February and was told they would hold it while our house was being built. We had no clue it would be July before the house was done but I stayed in communication with my salesman on the status of the house build. A week before we moved in I scheduled for my bed, mattress and two nights stands to be delivered on the 16th. I got calls and texts leading up to the date and even the day of was given a 30min window of arrival time. The truck shows up with ONE night stand and no other items. I have the store a call and she told me all my items besides the ONE night stand was on backorder and wouldn’t be able to be delivered until 7/26. Not one time did anyone tell me anything about anything being on back order or any items being delayed. Very unhappy and disappointed. Please do better with your communication Ashley Furniture!

I just moved to the Waco area recently and vistited Ashley to pick out some items for our new home. I had a great time getting my furniture tonight. Dealt directly with Tommie and Vannessa. Tommie was a great sales person. He took care of me, helped show me what would go best with my previous selection, as well as completing my set. He even discussed having the correct area rug to allow for color contrast of the furniture and my hardwood floors. He was able to work out the pricing to get me the best deals possible on all of my purchases. Vannessa made my purchasing experience great. She was well versed with the finance options and what suited my particular situation best. Very knowledgeable staff. Great conversation with the whole team about the furniture as well as the local community. Very insightful for a foodie like myself. Hands down 10/10 experience and would 110% recommend choosing them for your furniture needs. I went in close to closing and they were more than happy to stay late to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. Great people make it all worth the while! I will for sure be returning when I need additional items.

By the time we were done, the $1000 couch we looked at was $1800 with the protection plan and the delivery charge...what a racket. We walked out.

Does not honor repair contract wasted money
We order some chairs which we love them and the sales lady Kassidi Franklin was so nice and helpful. The financial part was terrible. I went to the back of the store and talked with Vanessa Pridemore the sales manger with Acima. She talked us into getting the chairs to be lease and worst experience do not use Acima or talked to her. She explained to us that we can get a certain payment plan but I found out it was a rip off if your total is $539 then you be owing over $1.000 or more when you finishing paying like it was for us. We got the bill and it says $38.67 a week for 1 year. So I called Vanessa and she never answered my call or responded to any my emails. We told her when first talked to her that we will pay it off before April 29th which was $200 a month making it 3 months to pay it off which was the deadline to pay the chairs off early. We hurry up an paid the chairs off April the 1st. So basically she lied to us about financing I guesss she was just trying to make a sale. I repeat do not use Acima you will be paying way more than you expected. I have been shopping at Ashley for years love their store but will never use their financing to purchase our furniture.

We also s all a beautiful bedroom set on Clarence.And she worked with us on making a really great deal. We talked about our new home and how we had.Just put a down payment on a mattress.Set with the adjuster frame, And after much discussion, they actually met us on the price, and provided us the proper mattress protector for our split king size bed. Manager swapped product on us and I'm guessing he thought we wouldn't notice. We went into the store to shop for a new mattress and after trying a number of them we found what we liked but was a little too expensive and as we were about to leave the Manager said he had one in the back of the store that was close out model. Said it was the same just the cover would have different color, 3 times he assured me it would be the same one we wanted but they delivered a lesser one that we had tried but didn't like and refused to take it back. This ain't over yet....

I let them talk me into using Synchrony this time, that's fine, it was a good deal. However, they sent the incorrect owed amount to Synchrony. I've started a case with Synchrony, chatted online with Ashley and over the phone with a manager at the Waco store. I was assured both times by the Ashley employees that it would be taken care of. They had the wrong amount of items listed as me receiving them. Here we are, 2 weeks later, payments are starting to be due and the amount owed hasn't changed. Im going to end up paying hundreds more than I should owe, just save my credit score. This place is no longer a quality, trustworthy store. Who pocketed the extra money? UPDATE: 3 weeks later, my case with Synchrony was denied. Apparently, Ashley furniture lied and advised I signed for this amount, however they were unable to provide the document. I have the emailed receipts showing what I should owe. I even sent them to Synchrony. BEWARE

Beautiful lay out, extremely clean, my only issue was with my initial greeter….i ended up being assisted by a man named Tucker who was very professional and knew exactly what he was talking about, very helpful. My INITIAL greeter on the other hand, Mara, was incredibly rude and actually asked me and my roommate to leave bc we didn’t know what we were coming in for (due to just having moved and looking for a bit of everything, not that she knew that bc she cut us off so quickly) and mentioned being in the area to eat and we were just looking to get an idea of prices. She was quick to ask us to leave and included calling us a waste of customers. I plan to be back to purchase a beautiful desk from Tucker within the week.
Mara was extremely unprofessional and tried to run us out of the store upon entering because we just wanted to look for now while waiting for our table at Buffalo Wild Wings right next door. She said that we would be a waste of customers for her because they take turns greeting people. After looking around for a bit, I actually found some things I’d like for my home and was helped by another very pleasant and professional salesperson (Tucker). After moving in a few weeks I plan to be back and do business with him. I hope they either retrain Mara or send her on her way because that’s no way to treat any potential customer regardless of their immediate plans.

Sales TEAM helped me find the perfect platform bed (queen and full size) mattresses for my house. Also, going back shortly to buy the tempur mattresses that is perfect for my master bedroom.
Ordered a recliner online. It finally arrived. After having it only 4 weeks, it broke. Took several phone calls and echats to get help. The best they said they could do was to order the part and when it arrived, I could call and they would send someone out to repair it. They assured me the part would be there in 7 to 10 days . Well after 13 days, I called them again. I was told the part was on back order and it would be 1 to 2 months and that was all they could do. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. They said they could not do that.i asked several times. I said I would be hiring an attorney. Lo and behold about 15 minutes later someone called. He assured me that the part was put in the mail that day and gave me tracking number. So the first 3 people didn't have a clue what was going on. He said they would get someone right out. Well when I called to schedule the repair, it's going to be 35 days. Do not buy from this business. The furniture was lousy and the customer service is even worse

Ashley’s furniture is absolutely terrible! I physically went in the store and ordered a bed frame them on 12/27 from Jordan. It was suppose to be delivered on 01/03, but it wasn’t delivered until 01/11. - the first time it was delivered to the house, the warehouse had shipped the wrong rails to the bed frame. - the second time it was delivered, they still sent the wrong rails for the bed frame. - the third time it was delivered, they brought the correct rails for the bed frame, but insisted on taking the screws with them. Therefore, still couldn’t not put the bed frame together. - fourth time it was delivered, still did not send the correct screws to go with the headboard and footboard to connect to the rails of the frame. All this to say, I was having to wait a week each time for the wrong parts to be delivered. By the 4th time they delivered the wrong parts, I ended up just going to Ace Hardware and buying the screws. Frank (the manager @ the Waco location) has been terrible to work with this entire time. Not only that, they have a no refund policy, so I had no choice but to go out and purchase my stuff just to make it work. Everyone that I have talked to has had terrible experiences with Ashley’s Furniture. Please get your furniture elsewhere.
Overpriced furniture of mediocre-low quality, but honestly what I hate the most are the salespeople. And look, I get it: this is their job, this is how they make money. But I. HATE. walking into a store and being accosted by someone giving me the fake "I'm happy to see you, man!" song and dance. I can't even look at a piece of furniture without someone swooping in like a condor, all "Ohhhh my god, I see you're looking at this, we have this on sale! Hell, if you come ask me, I'll give you a discount on whatever you want!" (Yes. They all say that. It's not them being personally generous, it's what they're told to do just to get a sale.) It's all very fake, which is bad enough; worse, it makes me really uncomfortable. I don't WANT you eyeing me and salivating as I check the softness of a mattress. I don't WANT you making a beeline for me if I so much as lay my eyes upon a sofa. Give the customer your name at the start, get a feel for what kind of person they are, and if they're obviously standoffish, then LEAVE THEM ALONE unless they come to you. Seriously. I will remember your face. I know you need the commission. If I actually find something in that overpriced store that I want to take home, I will faithfully search that salesperson out, even if someone else tries to help me instead. If you don't mind salespeople, then go on in. It's a wonderland of bland whites and grays. (I did see a purple throw that I was in love with...til I saw the pricetag read $79. L. O. L.)

BEWARE!!! On December 29th, 2023 we went browsing for sectionals at Ashley Furniture Store in Waco, TX. We ended up really liking this specific sectional (item #s: 6762217, 6762234, 6762266) because of its comfort and it’s size. After speaking with the Manager, Frank Burns, he assured us we were getting this exact sectional, but in new condition from the warehouse. We ended up purchasing this sectional on December 30th, 2023. After about 3 weeks, on January 20th, we received all the items and were excited to try our new couch. After sitting down, we quickly realized that this sectional DID NOT express the same comfort as the one we tried in the showroom. The cushion support was stiff. We ended up unzipping the cushions and were perplexed about the material that was used inside. That evening, I wanted to make sure we got what we initially agree to, so I went back to the store and sat on the same couch we ordered and quickly realized the comfort did not match what was delivered, so I unzipped the sectional cushion to see what was inside. To my surprise, the material did not match and the seat support was different. This explained the comfort discrepancy. I was confused as to why we did not receive what we originally paid for. After speaking with their manager again on January 20th he told me there was nothing he could do as far as returning the sectionals as they have a “no return policy”. Ultimately, we were deceived as we did not receive what the showroom had on display. We are VERY disappointed as we thought this was a reputable business that cared about their customers. AGAIN, I WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN AND MAKE SURE ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY DO NOT EITHER!!!

I have tried to like this place, but I just can't get there. I have bought a couch, and a mattress. At two different Ashley stores. Both have provided horrible service. Sales persons are great. A bit overbearing, but they are trying to sell you something. I went and looked at recliners. Salesman way to pushy. I didn't get them. Wasn't what I wanted, but he wouldn't be quiet long enough for me to tell him what I was looking for. The biggest complaint about Ashley's is customer service from what I have read. I get that. Their warranty deal is really a joke. Bought that on the couch. Never fixed the mark from when they delivered. I couldn't prove it. Now to get that discount because you never used it in 2010, you need your paperwork. Ha ha
We went into the store here in Waco TX on December 28 and purchased a sectional couch. Our sales lady was Kansas. She was very helpful with handling our purchase. While talking to her about the couch, I explained to her that I was a little concerned about buying the couch because I have experienced this same problem before at Ashley’s back in 2019 with two recliners. I didn’t want my new couch pieces to get here at different times. I stressed to her that I wanted my couch to come in at one time. I even told that I was giving Ashley Furniture one more chance. She stated that the Ashley here in Waco has all the pieces except the middle piece and that it was out of stock and didn’t show a date on when it would be in stock. She stated that she completely understood and she would call the Ft Worth warehouse to see if they had all the pieces. She advised us that ALL the pieces of the couch were in stock at the warehouse in Fort Worth and could get the couch delivered around January 10. We didn’t want to wait until January, could we just drive to Ft Worth and pick up ourselves. She stated that they were fine with us picking up the couch in Ft Worth on January 10. We made the purchase and paid almost 3500.00 for the couch and that we could drive to Ft Worth and get ALL the pieces there same time. She said she would keep us updated of any changes with pick up. She called my husband on December 30 and advised him that the couch was ready and we could pick it up in Ft Worth at the Ashley warehouse on January 3. On January 2, my husband called the Ashley store here in Waco TX to confirm the pick up date and they stated the pick up was still January 3. On January 3, we headed to the Ashley warehouse in Ft Worth to pick up all the pieces to our couch. The problem arose when we got the area for them to load the couch on our trailer, the warehouse guy getting the pieces to the loading dock area to load it up,he stated well I have bad news. He explained they had two sections of the couch but one section of the couch was not there. We asked Why??? He stated that the label on the third section stated it was the third piece. When he was checking in the box it was not the third piece section. It was apparently labeled wrong. So we drove to Ft Worth from Waco and only could pick two pieces because the box was labeled wrong!!! So needless to say we drove to Ft Worth and only received two sections of our couch and not the third. There was nothing they said they couldn’t do about the mislabeled box. I get home with the two sections of the couch in my house and putting them together and we are missing the furniture hardware for the two sections I have. So now I am missing one section and the hardware for the section already in my house. We called the Ashley store here in Waco, Tx and they said they would contact their supervisor who was not there today. Someone called us back and they can’t do anything about the one section of the couch except order a new one and hopefully they can get it in with putting a rush on the order. He said he went ahead already ordered the hardware for the couch pieces I already have. He also gave us 15% off on the section that we haven’t received!!! Well ordering the third section of the couch and sending me new hardware is fine and the 15% refund doesn’t help me now. The whole reasoning for that was so I would have a FULL sectional couch. I now have a partial couch that looks stupid without the other pieces and no hardware on the pieces I got which means I can’t use the sleeper sofa part with no hardware. This is ridiculous, I decided to give Ashley furniture another chance and this was what I got, pieces of a sectional couch with no hardware and the other piece not here. I have a big problem with businesses that don’t know where things are and basically lied to us. If you are going to have items on the floor to sale, you need to make sure customers know that you have no idea where an item is or will be or it is in a warehouse somewhere. At the very least, y’all could be honest and don’t give dates out!!!!

Was charger almost double for my bed frame called after Christmas because it's the holidays and because the bed has been delivered I can't get the money back on my card they said it because I didn't call befor the delivery but I did not receive my summary tell 3 days after delivery with a extra almost $700 added to the charges now they won't help

The only concern that I have is that we were never told we had to pay for the protection plan. We were so occupied with the conversation that we never inquired about plan, we were told over and over it’s part of the price. However after looking at the receipt we see that we paid $299 for it. We felt like we were forced into this. If we had been made aware of the ungodly amount of money we would have not agreed to it. And here we sit with still no delivery date or even an estimated delivery date. The salesman was other wise great but there was never a mention of the protection plan costing $299 we were lead to believe it was built into the price of the chair that we already knew about not an additional fee.

The store delivered damaged furniture in June. I called the store when it was being delivered and was told I had to accept or decline the entire order and could not refuse just the one damaged piece. I accepted the furniture and signed the delivery receipt, notating the damage. It is now December and my furniture is still damaged. I have made myself available, on four occasions, for repair technicians to attempt to repair the damage. Each time they leave without repairing the furniture and each time Ashley tells me they are going to send another repair tech and have thus far refused to replace the damaged piece. I have spoken to the sales person, the manager and several other people in the store and they provide no resolution. I do not recommend doing business with Ashley Furniture. They do not stand behind their product or their word and you will waste time trying to get them to.

We purchased a leather set several years ago and also purchased a protection plan. We specifically asked our salesman about the quality of the leather. The set we had at home was about 16 years old and in good condition but we were tired of it. He assured us it was very durable and the protection plan would cover any issues. Fast forward three years, the leather is peeling on the areas we sit the most and it is not covered under the protection plan. Also, we recently wanted to purchase a mattress for a spare room because I was having surgery within about 10 days. The assistant manager waited on us and assured us we would have the mattress that weekend. When we did not hear anything, I called to check on the order and was advised it would be over 2 more weeks. So I cancelled the order. I went to Mattress Firm and got the mattress the following day. The salespeople at Ashley are not truthful and will not buy from them ever again!!! Run from their salespeople!!!

I enjoy doing business with Ashley. The gentleman who assisted me this last time is one of the kindest and most patient I have worked with this far, (Viron). As is his manager (Frank) who assisted when I had a change of mind and had to return to switch one of the pieces of furniture I had originally purchased. I feel good about my purchase and extra good about the people who patiently assisted me. I usually choose Ashley first when shopping for furniture because of the great team they have there.

I had a salesperson that just wanted the sale, which I understand because who doesn’t. The integrity was lacking and far most the dishonesty was the worst. 1. He talked about the 5 year warranty on the couch and loveseat was amazing but he forgot to mention that it would cost me $999.99 which is fine but do mention the hidden price then he said that the delivery fee would be about $160 then when I get home and read my contract, the delivery fee was $339! Not once, even when signing the agreement did he mention the warranty amount nor the increase of the delivery. Very disappointed with Ashley furniture. I don’t even know if I really want this furniture anymore.

My husband and I are new to Texas. We had moved from Southern Oregon and had decided not to bring our existing furniture. On August 1st., we went into our local Ashley Furniture store in Waco Tx. We purchased a full set of living room furniture. August 5th our furniture was delivered. The next day when sitting on the sofa and putting my legs on the ottoman, I was repeatedly bitten by a pest. As I was inspecting the furniture I also noticed multiple places on the sides and bottom of all the legs of the furniture that was damaged. The ottoman was not wrapped in the protective plastic as normal safety practice and the sofa was only half wrapped. With all the damage i suspect that this was returned furniture and resold to us as new. I have been working with their customer service department with no resolution to this date. My husband is a 100 disabled veteran and this is unacceptable to treat any customer this way. I requested NEW replacement furniture and for them to remove this safety hazard. We are eight days with no resolution. I will never shop there again. They are a multi million dollar company and they have chosen not to make this situation right.

Ashley Furniture in Waco has very patient sales associates and management. I must have sat on 20 sectionals, 20 times and asked the same 20 questions. In the end I have a couch I’ve been wanting for a long time and it was a pleasure working with them. They also matched the internet price for what I wanted and saved me $600! I highly recommend.

We were looking for an office desk. We went every single furniture store in Waco area and they had none , cheap ones or kid’s size. Ashley’s was the last store… Ashley had some finally!! Audrey greeted us with full smile and took us to the office display area. She offered us price match to website. Also she told us honestly that there might be more on the web as well. She was not pushy but offered something she may lose sales for our best interests! So we revisited her to order after we checked Ashley’s website at home even we could’ve just ordered it online. She was that good! She called us to notify delivery information for a follow up! When we received our desk, we assembled by ourselves. Then we noticed, it was manufacturer defective item. We called her again. She provided us customer service information. They asked us to send pictures of the desk. They decided to send us a new one. This time, they brought us assembled one from warehouse! What a thoughtful gesture! Delivery guys were cool both time too even we have multiple dogs!! Audrey called us again to give us delivery information and checked us if the desk in a good shape after it was delivered. Not a cheap desk but just one desk! She cared about her customer!! Great company to deal with with good design options. They hire good employees like Audrey and train them well. We are definitely going back to Audrey for next purchase!

I purchased an adjustable bed and mattress from them. They were supposed to call me with a delivery date for the next week. I waited two weeks and no call. I called to check on the delivery and they didn’t have a date. I canceled my order and since canceling they have called 3 times to deliver. I informed them I had canceled and each time they acted like they were surprised. I have been waiting over two weeks going on three and still no refund. I’ve called several times to check the status and they keep telling me it’s in process. I’m so angry and frustrated.

This a clean,high class store with a large inventory of furniture.Four stars due to their policy of charging an additional $60("delivery charge") to THEM from the main warehouse.I chose not to pay $160 for home delivery,but because of a "mix up",they offered to deliver it to my home at no charge,for which i was grateful, & the delivery men were outstanding & courteous.Overall, this was a good experience.

Took two weeks for the store to get them from the warehouse, which they charged me a $50 delivery charge....to move the dressers from THEIR warehouse to THEIR store. We picked them up today and brought them home (45 minutes away...which is why we didnt have them delivered, they wanted $135 more to deliver them). Took them out of the packing crates to find they were not assembled correctly. The rails for the drawers were not screwed in and the drawers were hanging or gapped. $600 for each and my husband had to fix them BEFORE THEY WERE EVEN IN my house! That's BS! Called store, she said call customer service Monday. I have purchase lots of furniture from Ashley's, depending on what customer service says tomorrow we may not be back.
We had Sergio and he was amazing he helped us get what we needed not what he wanted to sell which was truly amazing and we left with the perfect bed.
Went into Ashley furniture today and Sergio was an amazing help. I will always go back to this store and ask for him. Not once was he a pushy sales person and not once tried to up sell me.
I worked with Jordan to pick out a recliner. I truly appreciated that he asked what I wanted but not only did he ask, he truly listened to what I wanted. He offered lots of options and made suggestions based on the responses I gave. Even showed a few other pieces we had asked about. He made my husband and I laugh and made the entire buying process smooth!
I'm giving a 3 star because we bought a nice sofa for a good price. I'm dissatisfied with everything else I've experienced with them. Do not trust any promotion they are handing out or giving away. My husband & I paid full cash for a leather sofa in November. The promotion they had, was a scratch-off. We "almost" won a nice mattress. I remember because as we were paying for sofa people at front were talking about it. We did win a choice from some nice prizes on a paper the salesman handed us. They were nice prizes. Problem...we were told to wait on an e-mail that will be sent to claim the prize. 6weeks later never came, called & was told to check e-mail in 2 more weeks. It never arrived. Called the store about 4 more times & was given several excuses. "I was on the wrong promotion & should have had something mailed, not e-mailed to receive the prize."Decided to give it one more try...Called the store in January & the Store manager did call me back that day, said she needed to look into it & would call us next week. That was 3 weeks ago. I thought if they can't honor a simple promotion, why to trust them to honor anything they try to sell you along with your purchase. Something to think about if they are selling you a guaranteed replacement etc. I guess part of me wanted to see if they were honorable in the promotion they advertised. They weren't.Don't fall for it or if you win anything have it in your hands before leaving store.
We spent less than half of an hour In the store during our first visit because we arrived close to closing time, but our showman still managed to represent most of the relevant offerings to us In that time. Fortunately, my wife likes a three piece set that was both available and promoted at that time; so I returned the next evening to stake our claim. Today is scarcely two weeks later, and all three pieces have been delivered. Given the superlative terms of their credit plan, we hope to find bedroom furniture in short order.

Outstanding customer care while in the store. The representative was patient and provided us all the information on couches and waited for us to make a decision. We are very pleased with out experience to that point. We knew it would be a while before the couch would arrive and were pleased when notified a lot sooner than expected it was ready for delivery. That's where with the understanding that COVID is taking people out of the workforce your organization should established better communication and delivery policies. We got scheduled for today Friday January 14th. We could not be told when during the day so we had to take the whole day off from work only to be called at 1130 and told "OH WE WON'T BE OUT THERE UNTILL TOMORROW BECAUSE (WE) OVERBOOKED DELIVERIES". If it wasn't that this is for our 84 year old dad to help his health and getting up and down you would have kept the couch. Improve your communication. Completely unsatisfactory on delivery for customer satisfaction.

Ordered a bedroom set and mattress on June 1st and given a delivery time of 6 weeks for all pieces except the bed frame, which was given a window of 8-10 weeks. Everything but the bed frame was delivered on time and as expected. Two weeks ago was week number 10 and day 70 sleeping on our mattress on the floor. We called right then and were told the delivery had been pushed back to November - got told this was a mistake and that we would get a call back with a correct delivery date within the day. We never received a call. We called back last week and were told that Ashley could deliver a temporary frame to "at least get us off the floor" and that they'd call us by the end of the week. We haven't gotten that call yet. It's now day number 83 on the floor and I keep finding bugs in my sheets.Long story short, if you plan on buying furniture from the guys at this Ashley Furniture Homestore, go ahead and order 5 months before you think you need it, that is unless you like spooning with Jiminy Cricket.

I have gotten 2 pieces of furniture here in the past year. Both times they said that it would be 8-12 weeks before they would be able to deliver the pieces, and both times it has taken over 12 weeks. I like the furniture, but the wait is ridiculous.
60 days late delivering and all I get is more assurances about a partial delivery. Still waiting and the salesman never once contacted us. If I enquired, he would answer- maybe..I bought a recliner from Amazon, delivered to the front door two days early.
I was a bit frustrated that it took 8 weeks to finally get our furniture delivered. It was NOT the store's fault, common thing nowadays. The quality is good, let's face it....nothing you buy anymore is going to last more than 10 years anyway. Delivery drivers were very courteous. For mid-range furniture quality, I recommend them highly.
I bought furniture in April was told it would not be delivered until June then I was told July and then I was told August I went to a furniture store in bellmead on a Saturday at 4pm n was delivered by 6pm the same day Ashley's doesn't want to make money

He was patient, funny, and kind throughout the whole 4-hour process even though we were there over an hour after closing to finish the purchase. All of the staff members were nice and courteous to us during our time there. I’m so excited for the pieces we picked out and cannot wait to see them in my new space in the next few months once construction is complete. Ordered a lot of furniture and it is really high quality and nice. Salesman MJ is very courteous and made everything go much more smoothly for my husband and I. Only complaint why it dropped a star is we waited 2 months for the bulk of our furniture and have to wait an additional month (who knows, maybe more) for the rest of it. That is disappointing.
My salesman,Moses was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and very patient as I asked him so many questions about different mattresses. I really appreciated the time he spent with me.
Nice store with a large selection of furniture, but most selections are for a large home, doesn't carry much in the way of small apartment furniture.
The staff was helpful without stalking or being annoying, and were very helpful when needed They have a fairly wide selection of most things, but a very limited selection of desks. The store was very clean and well laid out.
I wish there was a 4&1/2 stars option. Made a major purchase here, a very expensive bed (that i absolutely love) and had a minor issue with getting what i needed and was fairly sure i had ordered but somehow it had escaped being ordered. HOWEVER...management stepped in, sorted the problem and made things right and actually made sure i had what i needed by delivering it PERSONALLY!!! I like seeing that management isn't too important to make sure operations are smooth...i also like getting everything i needed and appreciated them going the extra mile to make sure i was satisfied.

So we've shopped here a few times in the past, and have also messed up our orders twice. The first time, we bought our sons bed from them about 3yrs ago. When the bed was delivered it was missing the staircase. They tried telling us that we didn't order the staircase with it and that the staircase was going to be a couple of hundred extra. You can't even get in the bed without the staircase,our salesperson wrote it up wrong and we had to tell them when we were sold that set that we were getting the set exactly like the one that was shown on display. They eventually said it was in fact their fault and they would ship us the staircase at no extra cost to us. Mind you we had already dished out 700bucks! We recently went back in to buy a kitchen table set for our new home. We ordered one with 6pieces, we also paid cash for it. When it gets delivered, its the wrong set! Its not the one we wanted. I contact the store and they say its out of their hands and we have to contact customer service. I called customer service immediately and it went to voice-mail. I left my name and number and they never returned my call. I tried calling them back a few days later and still no answer. I called within their business hours also. So we call them again today and finally got someone on the line. She said she had to verify with the store and would call us right back. She didn't do either one, after several hours of waiting we called them back again and no answer. We called the store and the manager said we would have to pay the difference in cost. We explained that they sold us that set that we wanted and assured us that it was the six piece and it was their fault. The store manager knocked a few bucks off and wouldn't budge anymore. So when you go and order something have them Double and Triple Check what you're getting! Forget trying to get through to customer service they don't care!

He led me to 4 or 5 beds after a couple quick questions and I will say changed my life after I tried the lifting bed frame in Zero G. I purchased a bedroom suit, living room set, a dinning room set, and a rug from Ashley. We spent over 10k on this. The sales man pushed the extra warranty, claimed if you have kids you will want this as it covers any accidentally damage. We have 6 kids, so we thought the 900 dollars was worth it. We have had our furniture for 2 years now, the seam of our sofa has split open and the stuffing is coming out. I made a claim, they called me back to explain our warranty only covers accidentally damage, not a seam splitting opening. So frustrating!!! Why did I pay the 900 for such a crappy warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE THE EXTRA WARRANTY!! ITS A SCAM!

Ordered our couch black Friday weekend. Was called saying our couch would arrive 2nd week in Jan. Never delivered. Called end of January to be told someone else was given our couch and our name was moved to the bottom of the list and scheduled to deliver end of march. Sales person could not figure out why we were moved to bottom of list. Asked to call us back. Now being told it will be here in 3 weeks. Believe it when we see it. No longer excited about this purchase.

My husband and I were shopping for a new mattress, Tempur-Pedic. We stopped by Ashley Home Store first with every intention of shopping around. Design Consultant, Bage Anderson, greeted us at the door. Bage spent time educating us regarding the various TP mattresses and allowed us to try each bed, etc. His knowledge of the Tempur-Pedic mattresses exceeded our expectation and this helped us make a more educated decision. Ashley Home Store was our first and last stop and this was thanks to Bage. Purpose of visit - browsing We are in the market for some furnitures and we wanted to see first hand the actual units. When we first came in to the store - we were greeted by BILL. And he was asking all these typical questions that sales people would ask. And we said, we are not buying anytime soon, just looking. We thought he will leave us since we said we’re not gonna buy that day, but he did not. He stayed with us the whole time we were there, which was really great since we can ask him questions on the furnitures. Some salesman would leave you if you say you will not buy on that visit. But he did not. He even told me try to come by often because once a month they hold a in-store sale. Now that’s stepping up. Disclaimer-we are still in the market since the house is not finish yet and we still have our old furnitures.
My Fiancée and i purchased a living room set in August from Ashley, we were given an estimated delivery around the first week of October. We called at the end of September to get an update on our furniture only to find that our estimated arrival would be the end of November/first of December. We didn't receive any calls or emails informing us of this change, which is basic customer service, and we asked them to make sure to keep us informed of any changes. Fast Forward to today Oct 26, and i call again just to touch bases because we still haven't received any notifications about our furniture and i want to make sure we are still on target for the end of November.. I call and talk to one of the sales guys and find out that, no we are not on schedule, but that my furniture is further delayed until NEXT YEAR!!!!! I am told that Hurricanes in the Gulf is the problem now. Ni completely understand that Covid has messed things up, and I can understand that if a factory is hit by a hurricane it will cause delays. What i CANNOT understand is why we couldn't get a phone call explaining the situation. That is just basic customer service. I can't beleive that Ashley cares so little for its customers, that it cant give even a basic level of customer courtesy. I am half tempted to cancel my order, and take my 4000 dollars elsewhere

We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Ashley and could not be any more satisfied with their products and customer service. We bought a living room set in May 2020, and unfortunately because of the pandemic, we had made three months’ payments on the furniture and still hadn’t heard anything about it arriving. However, we reached out to our salesman, Bill Byars, and he along with the manager walked us through the issue and provided us with amazing customer service and a great solution. Ordered furniture on August 2nd. Told we would get our furniture Sept 13-17. No one calls to update us on delivery. We call and a call. Told last week of September. Then, told first week of October. Today they state we will not get sofa and recliner until 3rd week of October. And no ETA on love seat. Our salesman, Matt, has been zero help and blames every thing on COVID. Only discount offered during this circus has been free delivery. We were told by Matt that we would get weekly updates. That has NEVER happened. Moved in our new house and have no living room furniture. Very disappointed to say the least.

Tony was very friendly, but he is a scammers. He gave us a delivery window on Aug 20-27. I called the 26th of Aug for a delivery status and was told by Tony that the date was moved back in Sept. I dug in to his new date info. The truth comes out. Tony received the info 2 weeks prior to my call. But yet he didn't even make an attempt to make a call on his end. I also found out that every Monday they get a shipping status update. These people don't care. They made their transaction and now its time to move on to the next guy. Its sad to say Ashley's has scammers working there.

I've been waiting over a month for furniture I paid cash for only to call about it and be told that I'm going to have to wait even longer. I got every excuse she had scripted in front of her. I've had a fence built around my back yard, had the house painted and all kinds of work done but can't even get furniture that I've had paid for, for over a month, and was told if I got a refund I would have to be put back on a list! And YES, I am angry! Theft is theft, they took money and didn't deliver.

Came in to buy a dresser chest for clothes. My wife had purchased one quite a few years earlier from Ashley&'s in Houston. We were greeted by Mathew. We quickly found what we needed. There was quite a decent selection here but we found a great match for the rest of our bedroom set. He was very helpful and the price was quite reasonable. It took a few weeks to get it but it was definitely worth the wait. My wife&'s dresser has held up very well and I am sure this one will as well. The salesperson was quite helpful and polite. This weekend I shopped over two days at the Waco /Marketplace Ashley Furniture Store and can highly recommend two of their personnel. Brandon Cutrer and Matthew Songy were attentive, but not pushy, while I perused the showroom. They occasionally checked back to answer questions did not pressure me in any particular choice. I shopped at several Waco stores and returned to Ashley Furniture several times before making a final choice. I highly recommend either of those design consultants, if available, for their knowledge of product, personal demeanor with a client, and professionalism.

December 12th I purchased a couch and recliner. The salesperson flat out LIED to me about the set being delivered by Christmas. I recieved the recliner the first part of January and am STILL waiting for my sofa that was to be delivered today as promised. Still they have yet to call me to set up a delivery date! January 21st was the promised date! I have called now multiple times and wasted a lot of my own time tracking down a couch that I was promised over a month ago. The Waco store accepts no responsibility and blames it on the college station distribution center?!? I dont care who's fault it is. I want something to be done about being flat out lied to while in your store, my money back, or my couch to be delivered today. Yall this is ridiculous. A month and a half almost of nothing but headache and being told to call all over the place for some answers. I shouldn't be the one having to track down my couch. No one has called me at all. I have had to do all the footwork myself. Talk about horrible customer service! Still waiting for a manager to call me back!

By far the worst buying experience of my life. Do not buy anything from this store! After wait over a month, I received the incorrect sofa, and the replacement that took another another month had problems on the recliner mechanism. This is a joke, will never ever buy anything from this store.
We purchased a dining room set (table and 6 chairs). The salesman wrote up table and six chairs on invoice come time for delivery. The delivery personal informed us that we needed to contact the Waco manager since they showed to deliver only three chairs. When talking to the manager he stated the salesman made and error and he was not going to stand behind it. He said he would sell us three more chairs and not charge delivery (delivery which we had already paid for in the first place). Tried to negotiate a price for the chairs for mess up like the other three chairs and he flat out told us that there was no way he was going to do that, We returned table and three chairs. So if you are looking for good communication and a manager that will make things right, do not go to Ashley Furniture in Waco, TX.

When an owner actually cares about making sure his upset customers get the proper treatment (not that it was all their fault bcuz I must take blame for not reading small print in my contract) that's speaks volumes! My wife and I are first time home owners and first time furniture shoppers. Brandon Cutrer was so great with helping us decide on pieces for our living room and bedroom along with happily explaining warranties and everything else we had questions on. We kept bouncing back from different options but ultimately ended up purchasing two major items when we were actually just in to get ideas on what we wanted. Thanks for making this experience so easy for us!

I went in one day with my parents to look for a reading chair. The staff seemed helpful and informative. I came back a week later by myself to get the chair I had been thinking about and they told me a completely different price. Great selection of furniture, just disappointed in the miscommunication.
Great service and helpful service
I bought a couch and a bed Suite CASH and after waiting a month for it all to arrive which I agreed too after it arrived 3 days later the couch was broke and it took a month for a tech to come then 3 weeks for the part to arrive and a week for the tech to come back and install and it didnt fix everything and now 2 and a half months later by bed is BROKE!!!! The couch still has a wood board broke in it and was delivered like that. UPDATED: After a manager contacted me after reading the original post I talked to him on and off all afternoon and not only did he go above and beyond to fix the issues he also was very apologetic and understood my frustration.
Went to Ashley HomeStore in Waco and Brad greeted me right away with a smile. He was very helpful and took me straight to what I was looking for and showed me other options online. The next day my husband returned, asked for Brad and he assisted my husband with purchasing a bedroom set for our son. My husband made the comment that “Brad was a good salesman and knew what he was doing”. Thank you Brad for making it an easy process.

Immediately walking in, an older staff member came to see if we needed help. Respectfully denying the first time did not seem to get through his head. When he asked again and continued to follow us, we told him we will not be needing any assistance today. His response was “then maybe you should shop online and leave” The whole point of us going to the store was to see if we liked the furniture in person before we buy it. We understand staff members are suppose to greet us, but harassing us is a whole different story. No means no. We just moved and needed a new bed frame, nightstands, couches, table, chairs, and bar stools but because of this man, Ashley Furniture has lost our service and thousands of dollars we were ready to spend.
Brandon was very helpful and not a forceful salesman. He was very clear and knowledgeable regarding our options and financing. We appreciate the fact that he gave us room to explore the showroom and was there when we had decided on what we were going to purchase and answer any concerns and questions we had. We had a very pleasant experience.

I went in looking for a new bed set and came out with excellent pieces of furniture, new mattress and a very pleasant experience. My sales representative, Moises, was very kind and very helpful. He made sure we got the best deal the first time!
Don't do it. The things you buy fall apart. They delivered during a rain storm my couch ( white) had mud and water all over it as did my entire house.

It took several delivery attempts to get it all to the house and they needed to borrow my tools to assemble it. They didn't bring their own tools. Unfortunately the new one they delivered was defective. Broken springs along one side. When we called to inform them of this problem, they tried to up-sell us on a different more expensive mattress. We declined and asked for a "non-defective" one like we originally ordered. Now they are talking 4-6 months for delivery. We decided we wanted to return the King size bed for a refund --- And Now The Fight Begins !!!

Go see Brad. He will take care you. We went in last weekend to see prices and shop. Went back into today and he remembered our names which is a small thing but a huge thing in long run for me. He doesn’t stalk you while you shop. He stays within range if you have questions. We bought a living room set today and will be back for the bedroom set soon. Thanks again Brad for helping us out.

i ordered a dining room table set on Black Friday before moving to Austin. They then backorded the order to push it back a month. I finally was able to pick up the order in January. The order was missing TWO CHAIRS. I’m coming up on 4 months of customer service emails back and forth just trying to receive my chairs. I never thought purchasing furniture could leave such a bad experience. I just want my complete dining set that I purchased FOUR MONTHS ago.
Second time we have purchased from Ashley's and won't be the last. Moses Puente was very knowledgeable of what we wanted and delivered great options! Definitely the place to shop.

The employees there were very welcoming, we had been in a few weeks prior to our purchase and spoke to Brad Lancaster about what we were looking for, he showed us what he had and gave us information on the item. We went back to purchase and had a list of what we found online and Brad looked it up and gave us information to help us decide what we were wanting to purchase for our home. We are very excited for our new couches to be delivered.
Great customer service! I walked in knowing exactly what I was looking for, was shown different items and walked away buying exactly what I wanted. No pushy salesman telling me what I needed. Just a great guy showing me exactly what I had in mind.

Bought Furniture about 10 years ago, no problem only long wait for delivery, gave it another try before thanks giving, ordered an eight chair dinning room set, the most expensive one by the way, promised it would be delivered on time for thanksgiving, when came in one of the chairs was cracked, the two main arm chairs where sent without the arms (sent those back) and husband decided to order them online from different company (got those within three days) the broken one they couldn&'t replace right away they had to send an &"inspector&" to decide if needed to be repaired or replaced, we ended up driving ourselves to a &"close&" store (30 miles) to get a replacement. They couldn&'t offer a refund for the captain chairs so I ordered two accent chairs and a coffee table and stupid me still paid an additional 100 dlls to complete the order, its been two months since that and still haven&'t received those items. I could probably add more details of this nightmare but I wont lol. Furniture is beautiful not worth the trouble. Do not buy from Ashley store you have been warned!!
I came in to buy a bunch of stuff for my apartment and asked if the leather couch would hide lobster claw marks as I own three lobsters as pets. They said that no couch could possibly hide that 😢

Okay, first of all, they signed us up for a good deal, we signed papers, and then they call us back hours later, saying that they gave us the wrong deal, and we should have been offered one that's a higher rate. Second, our furniture was supposed to come in a month after the signing, and it's been 3 almost 4 months, and still no furniture, and they basically told us that they had the furniture there, but sold it to someone else. . . . . this is by far the worst business I've ever dealt with. They need to fix themselves.
