We had a great experience at Ashley furniture today we ended up buying some furniture there but we did shop around furniture row RC Willey's we even walked over to IKEA but that was just to get lunch we wouldn't buy furniture there

For the most part I had a good experience experience from the person that was helping me besides a different employee that had to add a smirk comment Regarding the amount of money I was spending didn't seem like if it was enough saying all that work for $4 Because I had a warranty credit in store and my Balance after that was $4 Seems like he has a personal problem hes the one that signed up for the job Some people need to get a life
Sales person was a bit meh
I just purchased a dining table and couch. Paid for that. Then end up getting mats for my dining table. Paid for them, she needed me to sign a some form, that she needed my license plate number, make and model on car. THAT IS GOING TO FAR. ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHAT I DRIVE.
First off, the positive parts of my experience have been that Ashley has some really great quality furniture that's a tad better than RC Willey and also slightly less expensive in some cases. What they struggle with the most, however, is being honest about when your furniture will be available after you have purchased it. When we purchased a bedroom set there were a couple items on back-order and the sales person, who was quite pushy, said they would likely be in stock in the next few weeks. We are still waiting for the furniture to be in stock 2+ months later and a patter that I've noticed is that ever week that passes the expected delivery date remains 3 weeks out. There isn't any notification of a delivery date change or a way of checking up on the order other than calling or going through their chat which both take over an hour. All that being said, if price and quality are what you're looking for and you can wait for an indeterminate amount of time (or they have all the items in stock) unimportant to you then it may be a good place to shop. Otherwise, it may be worth it to take your time exploring other options.
Zero stars if possible. Avoid this place at all costs. I came in to pickup mirrors that I bought earlier. I wasn’t able to take them home same day because they were having an inspection or something. When I arrived there was a child crying and the female manager said “if that was my child I’d take her to the ladies room to quiet her down.” To make things worse, she asked for my purchase order which I did not have and she took a deep sigh as she rolled her head back, and said it’s harder without it. Have her my number and she said oh wait never mind it’s right here. Then she was talking to one of the associates and he asked her if he can offer something to a customer to help him close the sale, and she said “you’re not going to do anything until I say so.” Extremely unprofessional, and someone needs to get the lady out of her power trip she seems to be on. And just like everyone else with a negative review, I was lied to about my delivery date on a procure that had to be shipped. This place is a joke. If anything spend the time and gas to go to the one in salt lake. Every time I go there they have great customer service.
The sales person lied to me on availability and stock. I was told 5 weeks and that all but one part was in stock. I called after not hearing things for 7 weeks and waited in on hold for over an hour each time I tried. Same result with the online chat bot. I finally got through after waiting another hour and was told to not expect anything for another 12 weeks and that the only things in stock was the part I was waiting for. Then they will not refund your money over the phone. I can forgive shipping delays because of the craziness that we have in the world today but making it impossible to communicate and not sending any communication with shipping changes is not ok. I will not purchase from them again
We were told we could finance any order at 18 months plus, with no interest. We were also told about the deals that were currently going on. Once we found what we wanted we purchased with the finance option. Long story, short. If you finance and what zero interest, you don’t get any discount. You also pay double the shipping cost. You then get an email that says our order will arrive in approximately 8 weeks. End.
I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. Do not shop at this store location or store whatsoever!!! We just recently moved from FL and have bought $1000s of dollars worth of furniture from Ashley furniture there. We hoped to come here in hopes of getting the same customer service & experiences we had prior. This location is below standards, has terrible customer service, and is horrible. After moving here, we heard that there were rumors of shipping delays due to warehouse shortages because of COVID. Totally understand that. HOWEVER, when we were in this store, the sales rep straight up LIED to us and stated (after we brought up the delays we were told about from people here) "No you won't have any delays and you'll get your couch in 6 weeks." So we placed our order June 14th. After 7 weeks, we went in to see what was going on because no one called us or could give us an update over the phone. They had no idea what was going on. Then they told us that we shouldn't have been told 6 weeks and that wouldn't receive our order until September 2nd. Fuming at this point because we were lied to, we were then sent an email stating that our order had arrived "ahead of schedule" and that it was going to be delivered August 31st. My husband called to confirm this and we were told that the information was incorrect by a corporate customer service line that it wouldn't be delivered until September 2nd. Today, we went into the store because at this point we've received false information 7 different times!!! And 4 of the changes happened in the last 5 days!! We now have to have 2 different deliveries for both pieces of our order instead of 1. They could've at least refunded our delivery fees!! This place absolutely sucks and LIES to their customers to get a sale, and they have terrible customer service! WILL NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN!
Ordered furniture online where you specify the delivery date. Only to find out they change the date without telling you. Then when it comes to the actual day of delivery they don’t show up and don’t tell you. I had to call them and ask where my product is. Even if you confirm the day before you never know when your product is coming. Zero organization!
Worked with an older man named Greg, could not have had a worse experience. Extremely pushy, and smelled strongly of weed. We started to look stuff up and he didn’t seem to even know what he was doing.
Purchased 2 ea. Leather 2 seater recliners with middle consoles Monday for $4000! Rented a Uhaul today & picked them up. Get home haul the first one out -WRONG! So we talk & decide that we will work with the larger one & keep it. Pull out second one- WRONG AGAIN! Same as the first. Husband calls store. The salesperson wasn't in so he spoke with Barbara the office manager. This is where our issue is! She tells us that we are responsible for his mistake because we didn't see the word SOFA on our receipt! We pay 2 hrs more & milage to fix it. Thanks for the lesson Barbara! We won't be back for the bedroom set, rugs & tables! We want to trust that what we order from Ashley is what we get along with the assurance that any issues would be solved! I'm sure you are very cost efficient for Ashley Furniture. Thank you for making us more aware of how Ashley works! Thanks for the LOVESEATS!
