My boyfriend and I came to this store in May of 2021. We found a sale on their website for two beautiful couches. We went into the store and ordered these couches but the price was not the same that was in store. The representative that we spoke to said they would match the prices of these couches that were shown on their website. He also told us that if we signed up for an Ashley's Credit Card we would receive 18 months interest free on the couches. After we agreed to getting the Ashley's card, the representative had to print out our paperwork three different times. We signed the paperwork and then got a call after leaving the store saying that we needed to come back to sign "the correct paperwork" because he had us sign the wrong one. It was a nightmare. We got our couches 2 months after expecting them and calling back and forth for an update on the couches. Spoke to multiple people about an update and none of them were really helpful. After 12 months of paying for the couches, we got charged $380.00 in interest. They did not sign us up for 18 months interest free payments because the gentleman that helped us seemed like he wasn't sure what he was doing. I called and spoke with a Manager at this store and he said that he would give me a call back to try and help me with this issue. I didn't get a response and waited days for him to call me back. I called back today and spoke with a manager and they were unable to help me. They didn't try to understand the issue or even try to help me fix this. I would not rely on their department for any help or any knowledge as far as their "Ashley Credit Card" goes. You will get different answers from different managers. I would not recommend financing through Ashley's and will for sure be canceling my card. Will not buy anything from their store again with the way we have been treated! Very unfortunate that none of the managers are willing to help us with anything when they messed this up in the first place.
We ordered a couch and received confirmation when it would be delivered. On the day of delivery, we heard nothing. After calling we got a new delivery date about a week later. The couch finally arrived on the second delivery date. We chanced it again and ordered a bed frame. I received email and text confirmation and responded "yes" to the delivery. The day before the delivery the warehouse calls and says they can deliver the headboard and the footboard but the rails won't be here till tomorrow and we can't deliver it until next week. I looked on the better business bureau and there are thousands of similar complaints. I canceled my order but I'm already anticipating issues with a full refund as promised.
I was an easy in and out customer who knew what she wanted. They have a decent selection of furniture.
The sales experience/furniture options was good. The credit application process was easy and efficient. Minus three stars for pushing delivery date 48 hour before scheduled delivery and being hung up on several times while trying to obtain order status. Customer care outsourcing needs a lot of work as they are the ones facing the customer yet seem to have different answers. Everybody is backordered no matter where you go - how you handle delays and communicate expectations to customers is everything.
It has been three months since we ordered a entire bedroom set. I have been making payments for three months on furniture I don't have but still no furniture. Customer service is no help in getting furniture. This has been my worse experience buying furniture from a company. My delivery date has been pushed back 4 times now and still no furniture. The only photo I can add is of an empty room since I have no photos with furniture to add. Run away! don't shop as of right now. I'll update if things get any better. I finally got my furniture. It took quite a long time they need better estimates of when you are getting furniture and only charge you for when you actually get it. Also you end up paying for something for 3 months that you don't have.
