This store is a nightmare. I ordered a headboard. They setup a date to deliver and while still in the store I let them know I would be out of town and we needed to move the date. The sales man said he would just move it to the next day. All set right. NOPE. They called me on my vacation to deliver and I told them 4 times I would be out of town and they weren't suppose to come. They finally said they would deliver the next week and they never came. So I called the store and they said the manager called me and told me the bed was out of stock! What they tried to deliver it the week before. I never got a call!!! So then they tell me that it isn't available for at least a month. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN and this is a warning that they are liars. They lied to me twice. The sales man and the manger.

That insurance they are selling to people is a ripoff When you call them for a claim their will give you a 1000 excuses not to Pay or repair you furniture Does why I am not coming back to buy any furniture ever again

This is the second and last time I buy anything from Ashley furniture. You have to order whatever you buy, then when they deliver it its damaged and incomplete. 2 months to get furniture, maybe longer if they screw it up again.

One star because I liked the sales guy there on May 10. He didn’t pester me as a browsed and when I did finally find what I wanted I was able to purchase it quickly. He informed me deliver is scheduled out to June 4 but if it comes early they would let me know. I was okay with the wait. My scheduled delivery date came and no word from Ashley Furniture, so I called several times in 48 hours without a single person picking up the phone. Finally, I decided to go into the store which makes me nervous due to covid. But I made sure to wear a mask. Unfortunately nobody else in the store seems to care about anyone else....I saw over a dozen employees while there and none of them had a mask on. When I inquired about my furniture, they said it’s schedule for July 13 - but nobody bothered to call and let me know of the change! Instead I requested a refund and will be taking my business elsewhere. Really disappointed in Ashley Furniture for all the reasons listed above.

TERRIBLE customer service! We ordered a dresser 6 weeks ago and was supposed to ship 1-2 weeks, possibly a little later because of COVID delays. We have tried to call but only get a recording to leave a message and will call us back within 72 hours. Not so....sometimes no call at all and some times a week or more later. Nothing has been resolved and still no dresser!! You should be able to talk to a representative and give updates on your order! We have been nothing but frustrated! Not sure we will ever order from Ashley Home Furniture again!!

I ordered furnitue in February, and they keep pushing the delivery date one month at the time. I called today and now it's June 29th??? On top of that they want me to GO TO THE STORE to get a refund to the same credit card I used to purchase. In this cov times??? This is ridiculous!!

We went to Ashley looking for a new bed frame. We bought a king size bed frame that was well over $1,000 so we expected good quality. The salesman set up delivery and assembly for us for an additional $100. Here is where things went bad: 1. The polite gentlemen who set the bed up completely disregarded that there were VERY noticeable imperfections on the bed where the stain had become too concentrated and looks like sharpie on the bed. Instead of not assembling it the rest of the way they did and apparently just hoped we wouldn’t notice before they left. 2. We noticed the deliver guys didn’t bring pillows. We didn’t buy pillows for the bed because the salesman told us that pillows came with the blanket set we were buying. Another inconvenience 3. The blanket set was a QUEEN size???? So many mistakes that could have been avoided and SHOULD have been rectified. I’ve called them 5 times and been on hold for at least half an hour and can’t get ANYONE. At this point I’m livid because we are still just sleeping on the couch waiting for these problems to be fixed. I do not recommend the Draper location if you want a good experience. I wish I could add photos to show the incredibly noticeable marks on the bed.

We ordered a rug on April 19th till today we don't have it. No sweat. Went to the store and said we don't want it anymore. The response was they don't know where it is and it will take a few days to get the PO cancelled. It's been 3 weeks at this point. When we bought the rug we were told it would be there in two days. On April 21st. WE had to call THEM to find out it was "direct ship". We did not ask for direct ship nor did we want it that way. Anyway we had been in last Friday and they said "it will be there either today or SOMETIME next week". We said we don't want it anymore, then it became we can't refund it b cause we don't have any idea where it is. So let me get this straight. I bought something from you, you don't know when I may or may not get it AND you won't refund me till you do? What does that have to do with me? I simply don't want the rug anymore. Add to the manager C. Ryan Mead is the rudest manager I've come across in while. He told me basically when they refund people without cancelling sopso steal the merch and that will never change. So now Im possibly a thief even though right now you are? You have my money right? I have no product right? I will never buy anything from this place again. Who sacrifices prior and future sales over a $97 rug. C. Ryan Mead that's who. UPDATE: So I called the number listed below. When they found out who I was and my issue whoever Barbara is just kept hanging up on me. I called back three times just be sure. Th first time she acted like she was checking and hung up. Then second time she apologized and hung up on me again and third time she would not answer. This message they send about trying to solve the issue is just the store employees lying to cover their behinds.

I don't normally write negative reviews but a part of me feels like I should warn people about the business model of Ashley HomeStore in Draper. Be aware that the location is a franchise and that how they run their store is independent of the Ashley Corporation. I also would like to point out that the sales rep we worked with was lovely and had wonderful customer service, and when I went to cancel my order and get a refund it was a simple process and the lady helping us there was also very nice to work with. Two weeks ago my boyfriend and I went into Ashley HomeStore to look for a sofa. I fell in love with a sofa and was lead to believe I was getting an amazing deal on it because they claimed it was 40% off. Then they gave me a discount on the premium shipping to only be about $100. A few days later I went to search for the sofa online to check the dimensions for my living room and discovered that not only is the sofa on Ashley Furniture’s website significantly cheaper (remember it’s a different franchise), but that other online furniture stores were selling for even less with free premium shipping. After further research I didn’t feel comfortable trusting any of the online (out of state) furniture stores, so I did a local search and found the sofa and Knight’s Mattress & Furniture in Lehi for one of the best prices I had seen among the sketching online stores. They also offered free regular shipping or a discount on premium shipping to only be about $50. My boyfriend also had his eye on an outdoor gas fire pit table in their clearance marked down a significant amount. It has some cosmetic issues from being a floor model. When he asked about the price they said it was already marked down to cost. A few days later he looked it up and found it at Target brand new for only $60 more than the price they had it listed on clearance. If you decide to shop at this store just be aware that they mark up their price a great deal so that they can then give you what sounds like an amazing discount. But in the end you are probably still overpaying. I just recommend you do your research and make sure you are actually getting a good deal before purchasing furniture from them. FYI - Even products made by Ashley can be purchased at other retailers.

My wife and I went in to Ashley to buy some furniture for our family room. The service provided by Chris was outstanding and my wife came away thrilled with our new couch and 2 chairs. The selection and customer service were very helpful.

Fantastic sales, great selection, phenomenal product! But the staff followed us too closely for comfort...perhaps they work off commission and wanted to pounce on our certain sale...a bit awkward to go through the entire store with the same person following 20’ behind us and interjecting input whenever we paused.

Great price, poor customer service. The prices were really good and other competitors couldn't compare. The sales associate we had wasn't very attentive when we were asking questions about a sectional we looked at. When he finally did pay more attention he didn't seem very knowledgeable and had a hard time answering our questions, even though he claimed that he had the same sectional in his basement. Delivery took 2 weeks. When we finally got the sectional. We only got 3 of the 4 pieces. The delivery people called to see what was going on, they said dispatch would call us in about 15 minutes. We never got a call back and so we called. Found out that the missing piece was on backorder. This was the first time that we had heard that part of it was on backorder. Now we have to wait 2 more weeks to have a completed couch. Very unimpressed with their customer service. It is a little weird that the sales associates lurk behind you. We went home to take measurements and came back. This created an awkward situation where 2 sales reps were discussing whose client we were. It would've been nice to know up front that their expectation was that we go back to the same sales rep. Recliner motor broke 3 days after receiving our sectional. We need a new motor but cannot get one ordered until a tech comes to look at it. Trying to work with customer service is a nightmare and nobody cares about my situation at all. Not willing to work with you.
