Walked in and nobody offered to assist us but they assisted everyone else that walked in. Don't want to imply anything but very strange.
Went in a few weeks ago looking for a few different pieces of furniture. We worked with Eric. He and another one of the sale associates had the nerve to lie to my and my husband's face. I inquired about the signs around the floor, advertising something like "a new look, a new price, a new ashley". One of the things Eric told us was that bcuz they lowered the prices, that Ashley wasnt going to be having sales anymore. "So ashley wont be having a memorial day sale next month?" "No." Which another sales man near by backed up. We didnt go thru with a purchase bcuz Eric was pressuring us so much & my husband believed he was lying about ashley not having a memorial day sale. Well, he obviously hit the nail on the head when we saw advertisements for a memorial day sale on May 12th the other day. I make a point to be loyal customers to the sales person who initially helps us when we're finally ready to purchase. However, we will not be going back to Eric when we're ready to make our purchase. Instead, we will take the time & drive the further distance to the downtown Ashley, to make our several piece purchase under the sales woman, Shawn Agbayani, who was very respectful, didnt pressure us in the slightest (didnt stalk us either) and was honest in answering our questions, even if some of her answers were disappointing to hear.
Don't bother, they dont honor thier warranties. Bought 2x$2000 leather couches and on 1 of the couches the leather starting peeling due to manufacture defect which is apparently it covered. Never going back here again despite spending ~$17,500 with the store in 2018-2019
My in-store experience was fine, the person who helped us purchase a sofa was pleasant. However their delivery people were completely incompetent at their job. They tried to get the sofa in the front door in one of the stupidest ways possible and then informed me that it would not fit. When asking if they could try another way, they refused. The two delivery people proceeded to hang up on the customer service agent that was trying to resolve the situation (who also did not report the situation), got mad at me for trying to find a solution (that wasn’t sign a waiver I wasn’t allowed to read), and packed the couch up and drove off. Ashley is now refusing to refund me the delivery fee and is trying to force my refund to be in store credit.
This is really starting to seem like a long running joke. We ordered the furniture the first weekend of October and were told to plan on 10 weeks to deliver. It's been 8 months and although we received the mattress in February, the bed is yet to arrive. For 6 months I've been calling customer service repeatedly (wouldn't recommend because the line is always 200 customers deep) and each time I finally speak to someone, they offer their sympathies, say that they'll forward my concerns to the next person who will call me tomorrow, and then NO ONE ever calls back. A while ago I got ahold of someone who was willing to process a full refund. Great, I thought, now we can move on and just order from elsewhere. A few days later I realized I never received a refund confirmation like the person said I would. Called a couple weeks later and the person was very sympathetic and said she'd call the Draper store directly to discount the prices due to the inconvenience. They never called back like they said they would. Last week I spoke to customer service who connected himself to the Draper Store. He told me they already know who I am and a manager would be contacting the next day. Want to take a guess of what happened? I DIDN'T get a call. Is this a prank? Am I being gaslit? Could someone please resolve these issues for me already?
In store experience was open and friendly. Super impressed with our 2 delivery guys. They were on time, friendly, clean, and quick. They knew our sofa and chairs well and set them up perfectly. They made sure everything was working before they left. Thank you Eduardo Alvares and Vitor Romero out of the Draper Utah store!
Spent an entire day waiting for delivery. When it didn’t show, we called to make sure they didn’t come emphasizing we would NOT be home. Leaving to pick my kids up from school and guess who shows up. I try to explain to the delivery drivers I cannot stay, he stops me, won’t let me leave and proceeds to unload everything and make me wait because he needed me to sign. I didn’t have time to check everything because I have very young kids who would now not have a parent there at pick up due to the ineptness of Ashley Furnitures Delivery Services. I’m furious how they made me wait all day then proceeded to make me wait in the driveway after we made every attempt to communicate the time when they made no effort at all.
