Was told one thing and it didn't happen that way went and got my money back!
Delivery service has been a nightmare. Couch arrived 6 weeks ago, however the wrong screws to put couch together were wrong. Technician ordered new ones. 2 weeks later, technician comes back and realizes wrong screws were ordered. 2 weeks later we receive the wrong screws again!!! We just found out that it will take another 2 weeks to get the right screws and another technician to come out. By that time it will have been 8 weeks since the couch was delivered and we STILL don’t have the correct parts. That’s two months. Unacceptable. Management has been awful to work with. When attempting to get our refund for the delivery service fee, they told us we have to come into the store to get the refund - not just simply refunded directly to our card. I said we live in Saratoga Springs and that it was not convenient to have to physically go to the store to receive a refund that we deserve. His reply was, “You only live 10 min away.” Terrible response. Our lives our busy with kids and work. I have been very disappointed with the service. It will be our last time buying furniture here.
Court was awesome to work with!
My wife and I were attracted to The Draper, Utah Ashley by a 50% off sale. Even discounted prices seemed high, but we had not comparison shopped. Our sales person was polite and helpful. Because we found product that was visually appealing, we purchased nearly $10k worth of bedroom and living room furniture. We EVENTUALLY received and are satisfied with the high end furniture we ordered, but only after multiple missed and rescheduled delivery dates stretching over 2 months. The furniture we purchased was manufactured in Vietnam and Cambodia, but was of good quality. While dealing with frustrating delivery delays, I found a Facebook group of dissatisfied Ashley customers that documents problems experienced by customers at a variety of store locations with delivery delays, delivery of wrong or damaged furniture, damage to their homes during furniture delivery, furniture that easily broke or wore out much earlier than anticipated, and dissatisfaction with post sales customer service and warranty issues. As already stated, after delivery delays, we are satisfied with the furniture we purchased. Your mileage may vary.
My delivery experience was not good, my furniture was damaged. They sent me replacement parts that came damaged. I called the number and was on hold for 45 min before I hung up. That's ridiculous, horrible customer service On my couch there are parts where the stitching is undone and No one is getting back to me I will not recommend them
Initially things were fine. We ended up buying floor samples which didn’t include delivery. I understand that. When we went to pick up our bedroom furniture. It wasn’t ready as promised. There were 10 sales people standing around talking and we had to almost beg someone to help us. When I say help that is an exaggeration! The barely carried it out of the store. No help at all past that. We waited 20 minutes before anything showed up. They made a big deal about picking up the product in 48 hours then they didn’t have it ready. “We aren’t allowed to help secure the furniture, liability issue!” Fine but could you at least help with some packing material and make sure the drawers etc are secured. Nope! Not a bit of help. I’ll not go back there again!!
This is the worst experience I have ever had at buying furniture.
I will not shop here anymore. The in store experience was fine, but everything since then has been a nightmare. After waiting 4 weeks for our furniture, the wrong furniture was delivered. The two halves of the sectional do not go together. I have spent over an hour on hold over the last 2 days trying to fix this mistake, after I already took an extra hour out of my day to drive to the store and try to correct it in person. Customer service has hung up on my wife and I twice. Everybody is giving a different answer. They scheduled a delivery to fix the mistake, but the confirmation text said they were planning to deliver on the wrong day! By the time I called to reschedule for the day we had initially agreed upon, that day was full, and we had to wait even longer to correct THEIR mistake. I have now had to reschedule delivery twice because they keep telling me one thing, and then the confirmation text tells me something different. Its never less than a 30 minute wait to speak to someone on the phone. For two students who also work, its very hard to just take a whole week off waiting around for furniture to get delivered. But if I want to deliver it on a saturday when ill be home, it will be a 3 week wait. 3 weeks of not being able to use our couch or living room. The furniture is fine and the sales people were helpful, but delivery is a nightmare for anybody who has a job as it requires you to sit at home all day waiting for the furniture, if they even schedule it correctly in the first place. Dealing with customer service is impossible. RC Willey never gave me half the headaches Ashley did.
Worst customer service ever. Highly recommend going somewhere else so you don’t waste your time and get broken pieces. Waited a month to get my items and they came all broken and incomplete called a couple times to get my order fixed and delivered and all they can do for all of the hassle and wasted time was $75 after I spent close to $6000.
The previous reviews listed about hellacious delivery are absolutely 100% accurate. Wish I would’ve come here and read them before we bought from them. Please read about my terrible experience before going there! If I can save anyone else from the hell I have been through at least that good will come out of dealing with this company: My husband and I bought a bedroom furniture set from them back in November and were told that it would be backordered about 6 weeks. We were fine with waiting so we went ahead and paid. They told us they would contact us once the item came in stock to set up delivery. 7 weeks later we still hadn’t heard anything so I decided to call and get an update. The woman told us the set was in stock (not sure why we weren’t alerted) so we went ahead and set up a delivery date for today, 1/10. A day later, my husband had a voicemail from them saying the dresser was actually backordered until 2/20 but they could still deliver the other pieces. I called them back upset about the miscommunication and they told me they could knock $100 off our delivery fee for the inconvenience. I wasn’t about to try and order a new dresser so I decided to leave it at that. Now today, my husband took off work to stay home and receive the shipment because they gave us a delivery window of 10:45 - 2:45. It got to be 3:00 and we still hadn’t heard anything. My husband called to get an update and was told that the entire set had actually been backordered to 2/20!!!! Very understandably upset, he told them to go ahead and just cancel our entire order and the rep told him “ok” and that we would need to come back into the store to get our money back. This is HANDS DOWN the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life! I have never had to call a company so many times to even just find out what is going on with my order and I have never worked with such incompetent people in my life. Do yourself a favor and drive across the street to RC Willey. They will take such good care of you from start to finish and I’m upset that I just didn’t do so from the beginning. I have now spent 2 months waiting for a bedroom set I was originally told would be delivered in 6 weeks and after waiting those 2 months, they then decided to tell me it would actually be another month. Ashley Furniture will NEVER get my business. EVER.
The experience was very pleasant. There was no high-pressure, the salesman Jeff was very helpful The prices were good on some things and not so good on others. I think that’s how it is everywhere though you just kinda have to go for the sales
Has good deals on furniture. The reason why I put 1 Star because of The way they handle their delivery are the worst. They say they will be there from 1:45pm - 7pm but arrive an hour before. Ruins the whole day. You can’t do nothing have to stay at home 8 hours or more for them to deliver or else you have to re schedule. You can’t call Draper branch cause they never answer.
Great furniture but we felt very pressured by the sales reps! Found what we wanted somewhere else cheaper
3 man crew delivered a $3,000.00 Stearns & Foster mattress that needed at least 4 people to get it up to second floor. They began to try to fold it. I had to stop that since it would have caused major damage to it. I suggested they advise Ashley they needed to return with a 4th man or have Ashley send a 4 man crew. They responded, "No, we can't do that and won't come back." No sign of concern except to show me they were the boss. I said, just leave it here and tell the store you could not put it in the room and tell them that the customer said a 4 man crew was needed. They said I would need to call the store and had to sign for the mattress our they would take it away. It was promised for December 23rd and then for the 27th and again for January 2nd so I refused to allow them to take it. A standoff resulted with the three of them confronting me and when they refused to leave I told them I would call the police to remove them. They were defiant and told me to go ahead. I then told them in a loud and obnoxious way, using foul language to, "Get the f... out of my house." They finally left. The only ray of sunshine was that I called my salesman, "Dale M.," at Ashely and, the next morning, he came over with his adult son. Then along with my contractor and his assistant we had our four man crew and got the mattress up to the second floor. Ashley is lucky to have a salesman like Dale, but they need to screen the people they have making large deliveries to make sure that those people understand that the customer is to be treated with respect not defiance and arrogance.
Large selection of furniture but the store prices and online prices can be vastly different
Junk furniture, must be seconds.
