We purchased a children’s bed from them last weekend. The sales experience was less than desirable but we still purchased the bed (which was bad on us) because it was a good deal. The bed was supposed to be delivered and put together today. We sold our sons old bed and prepared his room. They delivered the bed without the rails (come to find out that the sales woman didn’t put it in the order). The delivery drivers made us sign for the pieces we received and told us to call the store to get the rails ordered. We spent over an hour on hold with no answer, so I drove to the store. The manager stated that they couldn’t get the rails until 6 June, so now my son will be without a bed for almost 2 weeks. When I then inquired on returning the bed, I was told that I couldn’t because the other pieces had been signed for, so now we have no choice but to wait for the rails to be delivered and finish the bed assembly. The customer service at this place is an absolute joke!

I have been calling this store all day and been on hold for over 20 minutes each time waiting for someone to answer, to see whether they had a particular sofa set on display before we went to purchase it. I dont want to drive there for nothing.

The store was super nice. Woth wonderful customer service. But trying to get ahold of someone over the phone is absolutely impossible I called yesterday at 6 and was on hold for half an hour With no success. So my husband called back today. And has been on hold for almost 15 minutes now. I wish their online service was as good as there in store service I just wanted to know when my package was going to be delivered. And online it says put in phone number but it then says error we cant find your order number. What the heck!!!!

Do not get warranty let alone buy Ashley we bought two recliners one of the foot rest handle broke after less than two years . After all the phone calls ,ordered part ,but Ashley customer service says it’s not under warranty then next call it is under warranty 2.5 months later next customer service rep says part has not been ordered, BUT,,,,,,they are going to order the part ! Wow what a joke ! Sad thing is this part is on every piece of furniture that has a recliner feature that is on their sales floor! There is far more to this review than I have time or patience to write ,do yourself a huge favor ! Keep shopping around.

would totally give negative 5 star if I could. Last Saturday we walked into the store to look around. We were asked by several people if we needed help. Finally we were ready to talk to someone. He was very polite yet extremely overwhelmed stating how busy it was. No it really wasn't. Well from the start everything that was told to us came back with ih sorry I was mistaken. Ok that happens. The very uninformed salesman gets us started on our financing. Ashley credit card. And is gone forever. Meanwhile I've been asked multiple times if I need help. We make our purchase then find out we will have to pay delivery. What every piece of furniture says free shipping. We just spent 1400 dollars. When asked about it he just blankly looked at me and bypassed it. Ok fine. No we will go pick up at warehouse in salt lake. We both took the morning of work the next Monday to do so. Oh yeah we asked are they open. The paper says closed. Oh ya they changed there hour . Ok after getting rid of it furniture we go down guess what they are closed. So lost pay for the da . No furniture in my living room since Sunday and basically the manager could care less. So its now wensday I have 2 camp chairs in my living room. They are supposed to deliver today . So again time off work. Will see this place is a joke and I will not purchase here again. Oh and the coffee table wont be here until the 30th. I'm totally appalled at the lack of customer service we have encountered

Let's say nope cancel it all going elsewhere. Ashley home furniture is junk!

We bought a table and a sectional. We purchased the additional warranty for 5 years. We have had nothing but problems with the sectional and table. We have had 3 tables delivered over the 5 years due to defective materials and they have been out several times on our sectional and can’t figure out how to fix it. These guys have terrible customer service and don’t care about you or their product once they have your money. They are a one time only furniture store meaning you will more than than likely only shop there once and not want to shop there again because of the poor customer service. I would tell you to run the other way from these guys and go to a local furniture company who values their customers and will take care of their customers. Buyers beware.

I purchased a sectional a few years ago from Ashley's. Helped by a really nice gentelman named Mo very helpful and reliable i still have and love my sectional to this day! I will be purchasing again just from the experince i had and would recomand Mo to anyone that goes to Ashley's at the layton location. Well worth the travel from salt lake. THANKS MO!

When my husband and I bought our new home, we went to Ashley’s to get all new furniture. Maurice was amazing. He took the time to really understand our vision and was very patient and professional throughout the whole process.

I understand that courtesy delivery times are not guaranteed. It says it on every piece of paper. 1. When you get told by sales rep Edwin that it will be delivered in a 3 hr window. 2. You get a text message saying delivery time between 830 and 1230 do you accept? Reply yes. 3. The delivery center telling you on the phone at 1245 that your "accepted delivery time" was 230 to 630, not 830 to 1230, couch shows up at 340. 4. The delivery center then says they will compensate us for not letting us know they changed our delivery time, to call back after we receive the couch. 5. Call back after we got the couch and they said nothing is in there notes about it, that the store will make it right. 6. The store manager cade or kade's answer to everything was "its not a guaranteed delivery time, things happen and he has never or will never compensate for any mix ups" 7. Cade or kade then says "your happy with the couch, you got it right? So I dont get what your wanting" 8. I tell him I want a full refund, I dont want the couch anymore. He says "no you signed for it so after you sign there are NO refunds, NO returns, NO exchanges, its yours" So basically the sales people lie to get you to buy whatever your looking at. We all know how salesmen are. Then the delivery time texts are pointless, they dont deliver on time. The delivery center knowingly lied to me a couple times with a compensation after we receive the couch knowing once I sign its mine and there is no refunds. The store manager cade or kade gets really defensive instantly and refuses to make anything right, pretty much shuts down once your upset. Lesson in all of this, read every line on your paperwork, dont rely on the store people to tell you the truth about anything upfront, they will happily tell you after some issues pop up, dont rely on the delivery center either, they are crooks and will say whatever to make you happy and hang up with them, dont bring an issue up to this manager, he dont care. 4 years ago I ordered furniture for my whole house from this store and it was a completely opposite experience. They were honest, they helped, they even gave me multiple discounts for paying in cash and one for where I work. They took care of me, they pretty much made me go to them for any other future furniture needs. They had top customer service. Alot has changed at this store in the last 4 years. I still like ashley furniture but I will never go to the layton store again.

I went in to the Layton store today to browse around. I thought the store was very nice, and had a great selection.I found a set of beautiful pictures that I just had to have. I was helped by a very nice lady that informed me the pictures were on sale! This is where things went downhill..... she said to go to the back of the store where I would be rung up. Walked to the back of the store, and on the way I found a beautiful trunk to add to my purchase. She informed me that the trunk was a warehouse purchase only. She asked if I would like to drive to Salt Lake City to pick it up. WTH? Why have it in the store? I asked if it could be shipped to the Layton store to be picked up. She said no.... that it could be shipped to my house for 69 dollars. I said no thanks... I will just get the pictures. She then made me walk to another podium station where she rang me up. I then went through over 30 minutes of her fumbling through the “New System “ to get me checked out. This was a cash purchase BTW. I had to sign her tablet twice before I could finally swipe my card. I then signed the receipt. And then I signed another receipt. I did not think I was going to get out without signing my life away! I then left, and went on my way.... and hour later she called to ask me to come back to the store to sign that I had”picked up the items”. Are you freaking kidding me?! Worst experience ever! she also misinformed me at the beginning of my shopping adventure that everything in the store was 50% off. Which was not the case. Ugh
