My husband and I went in to the Layton store today looking for a chair and were treated like family! Dana was very professional yet down to earth and friendly! We probably walked that store 10 times until we found the right one. If anyone is looking for fair pricing with a great experience I highly recomend that location and Dana

Worst Customer Service EVER, you cant speak to a live person, leaves messages after messages, no return calls, or emails, chat leaves you on scene! So ridiculous Never again!!! a week later and i have yet to recieve a call, email, or chat back!! this is beyond ridiculous,
I would never buy furniture here online again. I ordered something in February and it’s now June. The piece hasn’t been delivered. Every attempt to call customer service goes to voicemail. I’ve left multiple voicemails and never had a return call. Terrible service and care for customers. Get furniture elsewhere.
Salesman not that helpful in making a sale. We came from out of state wanting a couch. The one we liked was in the warehouse an hour away from the store. Instead of trying to help us purchase the couch and see if the warehouse would stay open a few extra minutes they just said - too bad. So we went to RC Willey and bought a couch from them. Sales staff not helpful or willing to work with us. Won't be going back.
WOW! This isn't really for the store but for the movers who delivered my recliners. Incredible service. They were so fast and so courteous. What great guys! I hope these dudes are getting the recognition they deserve.
Terrible customer service. Pack your lunch and cancel any other plans for the day if you plan on shopping there. Bring 2 forms of I.d., a blood sample and 4 living relatives as references. You will likely be out of luck for any warranty claims, even if you are in the warranty period. (They will just redefine what constitutes a defect.) If you plan on buying a pillow, plan at least 1 1/2 hours if you are the only customer in the store. My experiences were all pre-covid and I can’t imagine how bad it must be now.
I love ashely’s furniture, just not their people or business. Me and my husband walked around for a good 30 minutes until someone approached us. Someone finally did and he kept pressuring us to do a home deliver when we said no.

Never again will I shop here. I purchased a king size bed and box springs. My box spring broke (just one) I called, they sent their technician to FIX it. with another board and screws. He was late and so rude when I told him about being late, he said" I could leave if you want" NO I WANT MY BED FIXED. A month later the bed broke again. I called they only had technician's for a few weeks out, I had to sleep on this broken BED for weeks only to find out the day of, the tech had an emergency and couldn't come fix the bed. I understand things happen, but when I called to reschedule she pushed it for another month out. I can't sleep on a broken bed for another month, the representative on the phone was rude, and didn't care just kept speaking over me and saying that's all I can do, do you want to schedule or NOT! don't buy from them, because it's HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!
PURCHASE: The in store shopping was a good experience we found a bedroom set we liked for a reasonable price so we purchased it. All went smooth.... DELIVERY: The date they promised it would be delivered kept getting postponed. Eight weeks later we received part of our bedroom set (bed frame on back order). While the workers brought in the dresser they slammed it into the railing to my stairs...it broke the drawer. So again they took it back and said they’d deliver us a new one in a few days. A “few days” turned into 3 weeks. Long story short I’ve never ever experienced this bad of service from competitors. QUALITY: On the first delivery the brought our nightstands. Day 1 I go to open the drawer and the handle snaps off. Quality is horrible and material is cheap. The drawers have a hard time shutting and have chips in the wood. I’ll never shop here again no matter how good of a deal they offer. STICK TO RcWilley.
Do not buy from this junk store with terrible customer service! We ordered a new bedroom set from them, waited 3 weeks for everything to finally get here & almost every single piece is damaged! We have called & waited on hold FOREVER a few times until it finally requires us to leave a message & promised to be contacted within 72hrs.....nope, still waiting! Come get your crap out of my house & refund my money so I can go get something that is quality & better service since I still have yet to be contacted! Very upset with our first & last experience with Ashley Furniture!

I really wish that we would've read the reviews first. Not only does my experience echo everyone else's here but what business doesnt respond to reviews?!? Just WOW! So my husband and I purchased a mattress and adjustable frame from Ashley Furniture in Layton, Ut just over a year ago. It was an expensive purchase we expected to last year's into the future. Well.. About 4 or so months after this purchased the frame makes a strange beeping sound and will not move. We called to have it looked at and just got the run around time and time again until it is now a year later and Im pretty sure the warranty is expired. We spent about 2,000 on a frame that worked for a mere few months. After seeing these reviews as well I am also reporting to BBB I can't believe corporate hasnt got involved with these terrible reviews and the fact you dont respond to any of them.
I ordered a desk from Ashley furniture and only received half of a desk . I’ve called them multiple times to see where the other half the desk is at. It’s been about a month with no response from any of my calls or emails. You will sit on hold for customer service for an hour and then they’ll disconnect you so you can’t talk to anyone. You can email the customer service every day with no response. This is the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. They have horrible customer service at best. Shop anywhere else.....
Worked with Mo and it was a fantastic experience. He worked with us in our budget and wasn’t pushy about trying to get us to break it. Great furniture buying experience.
Friendly staff with great products I have purchased multiple bed sets from here and had them delivered. The products are built better then RC Willey and I would highly recommend them to anyone
I am sorry to do this but what a disappointment. When purchasing the couch the longest shipping time I seen was 5 weeks. I receive a phone call it will be 8-12 weeks. Obviously this is to long for most to wait so I have tried contacting multiple times with no success in speaking to the correct person to cancel and then I received an email for a delivery date in a week. Thats great! Thank you. Ha. Next day I receive email that you've cancelled my order. I'm not upset because I had requested it got cancelled due to the long wait time but never did I speak to someone to confirm it could or was getting cancelled and instead get scheduled a delivery date first?? And I was told it was a definite 8-12 weeks. How and why would that happen? Doesn't matter I will never purchase from you again.
Awful. We were severely lied to by this store about a warranty that doesn’t do anything.
Purchased 5 large pieces of furniture 3 years ago. The service at the store was good and the delivery was great. He quality is about a 7 out of 10 which I was ok with. I'm just really frustrated now because we had a reason to make a claim with the extended warranty that we purchased when we bought the furniture and I cannot believe how deceived I feel. They pretty much will only cover damage that anyone with a needle and thread and a youtube video could fix. Not actual things that are unfixable. We are told that ANYTHING that happens to it will be covered. Anything beside normal wear and tear which is understandable. Shame on me for not reading the fine print. There is an entire page of exclusions and only a small list of a handful of things that are actually covered. I will absolutely never buy a protection plan again. Such an upselling scam. It's my fault for not reading it and just believing the salesman. I just wanted to try to help someone else save their money. I definitely would have rather put the amount of money toward a new piece of furniture because I'm having to replace the couch now because they wont cover the damage and it is impossible for me to fix.
