The Layton store was great! I worked with Heather. She took her time to show me options on the items I wanted to see. I did not feel like I was being rushed or pushed to make a decision. What a great experience!

My husband and I had a really good experience today. I knew exactly what I wanted. I showed her the item from online. She pulled it up, gave us better pricing and scheduled it for delivery within a week. This was so nice to hear. The sales lady was very friendly and efficient.

I had a good experience shopping here. They were friendly. I had a hard time navigating the store due the layout of how things were organized but still Very nice. Prices were good. They for me just didn't have was I was looking for. The options were stellar. Sales people were great too. Really let you look without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Layton Store: We took our time trying out several power recliners, and settled on the one that was most comfortable. However, when we picked up our recliners they were incredibly hard to sit on and very uncomfortable, so I went back to the store to check that we had been given the same one that we had chosen. Yes - BUT - the one in the store is 3 YEARS OLD! so it has been sat on by hundreds, if not thousands of people - hence "softening it". Unfortunately, because we bought our on sale it is not returnable - so we have to put up with discomfort until it softens! Be warned: the furniture in the store is in no way representative of what you will end up with - always ask how long it has been on the showroom floor!!

Beware! They told us we would get the couch in mid October and we called their customer service to confirm a couple weeks before it was supposed to be delivered. Come to find out, the sleezy sales guy told us we would get it a month before it was going to be delivered. We told him we were only buying something that would be delivered in the time frame we needed it. Now we go a month without a couch. I will never shop here again and I’d encourage everyone else to do the same.

The staff at the location were nice & helpful when I went in for my purchase. I got my new dining set delivered & set up. Everything looked good until my son & I tested chairs out only to find 3/6 of the chairs were not put together properly??? Wobbly w/gaps along the chairs footing/legs. I called customer service & got hung up on 2x , called a 3rd time only to wait on hold for 40mins. Tried their chat online, no help just a bot? Entered a call back request didn’t get 1. Drove to the location to talk to a live person , who also couldn’t help me except for sending an email to request someone to contact me. Someone called 3 hours later and told me it would be 3 weeks before someone could put the chairs together properly. To just set them aside until then??? So I guess only 3 of us can sit at the new table we just bought???!!! Wow!!!

We moved from Ohio to Utah and sold our house in Ohio where the buyers wanted our furniture. We bought in cash a sectional couch and chair in May during one of Ashley’s great sales they post at the Layton location. We were promised a July delivery when we talked with the sales associate who “looked in her computer” then we were pushed to August, then pushed to September and now we get told late October. We get a text from Ashley stating our furniture is here but missing two pieces and two they can do a split delivery. I drive to the store on Saturday and talk with the manager who tells us we can do a delivery next week. We spoke in a professional manner and I asked him why have items on the floor that your sales associates are selling that this store nor corporate can provide in a timely manner. He stated the business has to keep running somehow…This is a border line Ponzi scam where the business takes your money to stay afloat while misleading customers with false promises in delivery. On Sunday we get a call stating they cannot do a split delivery and we must wait to late October for delivery. I’ll probably wait to October and get another misleading call stating it’s pushed further to the right.

They have cute furniture, but a little more on the pricier side. Went in months ago looking for a couch, looking for something that would be available in 4-6 weeks. Told the sales associate this was a deal breaker. Found a couch that we loved, but would only purchase if it could come in the time frame we wanted. The sales associate told us directly that it would, so we got it. A few weeks before supposed delivery, we called asking what day it would arrive. They said that this couch had been backed up for months and the sale associate knew that it would take much Ionger then 4-6 weeks. He lied to get us to buy it. We got a new supposed delivery date, but the same thing happened again, and again and again. Here we are 16 weeks later with no couch and no trust for Ashley Homestore. Not sure if we will ever get it. Go to a furniture store that cares about customer service, not just your money :( UPDATE: the same problem happened again and again. Finally cancelled the order and will never shop here again

Paid cash. 13 weeks later I was still waiting for my furniture and getting nowhere with customer service so I went to the store. They said it was still 2 weeks out at least, then they would have to schedule delivery and that would take longer. I asked for a full refund and they said it would take 2 weeks for me to get it because they had to issue a check and couldn’t give me my money back at the store. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks now for that refund check for my CASH PURCHASE, not to mention waited 13 weeks for furniture that they said would take 8 weeks at most before I canceled the order and requested the refund. They said the refund was processed the day after they placed the refund request yet here I am with no refund still. Just got off the phone with the store again and they couldn’t give me an answer where my check is. This place is a joke!! DON’T go here unless you just want the run around!!

Don't buy from here and especially don't buy the warranty we have waited 1month to get my couch fixed and they cancel my apointment and tell me to wait another 2weeks. Now I have a non functional eletric couch and have waisted thousands of dollars on this company

We ordered a rug in January. It has been 9 long, rugless months so far. We have received a few phone calls informing us of manufacturing delays, but no solid delivery date for our rug yet. Hopefully it shows up sometime this year . . .

8 \21\21 Went to get our money back because today marks 3 months we've been waiting for our furniture, called customer service FIRST before even going to Ashley, We were instructed to go to Ashley they would issue us a check for our money because we paid in cash NOPE the manager Spencer was good but his boss called the police on me because " I WAS RECORDING " and GLAD I was, Spencers' boss. said I was yelling and scared his assistant and he's calling the police I replied " this is EXACTLY WHY WE AS BLACK PEOPLE RECORD our interactions in certain situations because a person can LIE with a straight face BUT THE CAMERA NEVER LIES. He told me to leave I said absolutely after we receive or refund absolutely will, long story short we got our refund I recorded the ENTIRE exchange TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Bait and Switch! Told us that the item would be delivered on August 6th. Chat representative extremely unhelpful. They told me September 3rd. Now, when I call they tell me October 26th. Frustrating! Go to RC Willey if you want reliable customer service (usually I'm not a fan of them, but more honest than Ashley). AVOID for your own sanity.
