Worst customer experience. Despite delaying the furniture twice, the customer service representative told me to contact the store for compensation. But the store denied that they can’t provide one. Poor customer support. They lack ethics and decency.
Do not buy a protection plan from Ashley furniture. They listed it as a different company on my invoice, when I did finally need to use my protection that I spent $349 on they told me peeling is not covered on my plan, but if it was torn it would be covered. So now because my item has been labeled as peeling and not torn is not covered. Oh and if you're too busy to jump through hoops trying to get a phone number to the actual place that covers your items then they won't cover it if you say you noticed the damage after 30 days. My usb power points on my couch haven't worked since a week after I got my couches, I finally got around to try to get them fixed but the protection says they can't set up a repair because I waited too long to report it. This is fraud. I trying getting a refund on the protection plan, but now they say they'll prorate the refund and charge a cancellation fee, so I guess I'll end up getting $50 dollars back from a $349 plan that I never got to use
While we walked around the store, not even one employee bothered to stop and ask if they could assist us. We finally found someone, and he seem inconvenienced to be talking to us. He quickly answered one question and then briskly walked away. Needless to say, we did not buy anything and will not be coming back.
I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism and lack of help provided both times I've come to the store. Perhaps I just got a bad few in the bunch though. Nice furniture and pretty good selection.
Ordered furniture and was told it would be just 3 weeks. (Stock is limited that's fine) We have to call and ask every month just to the hear that it's a month further down the road. We have been waiting about 5 months, now... I feel like they're just getting us to wait without any idea of what's going on. They seemed great at first, super nice, but they just keep kicking the date further back without contacting us. Delays happen, but they have been a nightmare to deal with. It is feeling like the entire year will pass for a huge piece of our furniture. You can make your own judgment, but I will never be shopping here again. If you're reading this, I'm probably still waiting on my order. I'll give an update when I get it. No update, then I'm still in this Twilight Zone episode. Edit: I just got my couch, thankfully. It's an awesome couch, and the store handled it nicely in-person. (The staff is very sweet) The general Ashley number, to their general call center, is literally the worst customer service ever. They've hung up on me when they couldn't find information, they kept providing inaccurate information (they said the order can't be completed when the store said it could be), and they were generally super rude. I will give call centers a break, their job is hard, but this call center didn't give a single care about my case.
Muebles de buen gusto y buenos precios
Ordered a couch and we'll see how it goes. Gave five stars cause the service was great and so far it was well priced with the sale.
Good selection. Helpful sales staff. However, the nearby R. C. Willey seems to beat them on price for comparable pieces.
Everything on back order
I found the perfect furniture I was looking for, and the service was fantastic, I will be back!!
Ordered a complete living room set in June. It's now September and still no living room set. They lie about delivery timeline and now can't cancel because they delivered one piece and can't return it so we are stuck waiting while they have our money for furniture we don't even have. Never again and I still need to furnish 3 bedrooms. Will be going elsewhere.
Everything in this store cost twice as much as the exact same Ashley brand furniture on Amazon. They will do the "managers special" of 40%off making the price somewhat comparable, however, they want $200 shipping while Amazon is free. Ashley's website says they will match Amazon price but according to the sales manager they can't do that. They also have signs all over their store advertising free shipping. Guess what? They can't do that either. Save yourself some time and money and get your furniture elsewhere.
Horrible customer service on both phone and in-store.
Very good customer service! Bought furniture there twice and haven't had a problem. Highly satisified with our purchases. Only slight complaint is the selection is a little less than RC Willey. Although the tradeoff is typically better prices.
Awful service, unbelievable ignorance toward helping ! Kaleb Campbell - so not helpful ! He kept on saying - you don’t have to buy it ! Well then why am I here ?!?! The smallest decor you buy you would have to wait and wait to be delivered for weeks - no one to call to see what the heck is happening ! I would never come back, I would never buy anything from here! Go anywhere else - I cannot express how ungratefully ignorant the employees at this place are ! Wow - Did I mention the hours of wait ? Only to be hang up on several times !
Whatever you find here, take 5 minutes to Google and find the exact same furniture for 40-50% cheaper than Ashley's "sale" prices. I was here Saturday 8/29 and found a couch I liked. Manager's special so no 40%, but was $1,899. Come back today and it's $2,299. Ok, sure, prices increase, but the "List Price" also increased. What a scam. Asked one of the employees about it and he was confused. Asked him if he could match an online authorized dealer (at $1,249) and he replies "well their prices are cheap because Ashley gives them the factory seconds and the furniture that doesn't meet our quality standards. I'm sure the AUTHORIZED DEALERS would love to hear how they're getting factory seconds. Except they aren't, but their stock comes from the same warehouses your stock comes from. Stay far away. Treat the store as a show room and order what you like online and save thousands.
We purchased a couch set that was to delivered with part of it on one day shortly after our purchase and the rest was unfortunately a few weeks later on July 15th. We really liked the set so we accepted that we would have to wait. The first delivery arrived and the delivery reps gave us grief over carrying it inside our front door. We didn't pay for the set up package, but it clearly stated they would carry it through the first door, but would be unable to carry it to the room you wanted it. We were okay with that. We have a giant entryway that combines with our living room where we would set it up. However, they were lazy and didn't want to carry it up our front steps and wanted to put it in our garage instead. It was frustrating having to negotiate with them to get them to uphold their end of the bargain. We were okay with the first door and when we had made the purchase had clarified what that meant with the salesman. Too bad the delivery team wasn't on the same page. Also now the 2nd set of our couches is still MIA. It is now the end of August and we have only pieces of our sectional. We have been making do this whole time and have not been fairly treated or communicated with despite their lack of delivery. Even right now, I can't reach anyone by phone to speak regarding the issue. Permanent hold that finally cuts you off after 15 minutes and simply sends you to voicemail. The really sad part is that we bought a bedroom set just prior to this and loved it. I came back because the first experience was great. Loved the product, purchase, had paid for set up and delivery and everything went smoothly. ***updates 8/30/20 They told us we would have some additional parts of our order delivered this weekend... they never showed nor called. When we called them they said they never were scheduled to even deliver. I have spoken with other people who have ordered with them, they have also not received their orders. THEY HAVE STOPPED PRODUCTION SO YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ORDER DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I wish they wouldn't have lied to us and said it was delayed. It is non existent.
Don't waste your time. You may find furniture that you like but you're never going to get it. We bought our couch end oh June and was told it would deliver three weeks later. We agreed upon it and set a date. The date came and went with no contact from them at all. We finally got somebody on the phone and they said oh it's not even scheduled to deliver until August 27th. Not only was it not being delivered till August 27th we were making monthly payments with interest on items we didn't even have. We reluctantly agreed on August 27th. We have now received another phone call saying it won't be until September 11th. Who knows when we're going to get our items if we ever get our items. don't bother trying to figure it out with them because they will not work with you. All they say is it's not our fault it's covid-19. I run a business and we don't use covid-19 as an excuse. We find ways to deliver service to our customers. Excuses only last for so long. not only do they make excuses but they are unwilling to work with you. With this company you are the one that's going to take it in the end not the company. Consider yourself warned. Don't waste your time and money. Update... After hours of trying to get them on the phone they have now said Sept 27th. Still making payments for couches we don't have. Company is still blaming COVID. Most companies have moved on and adapted to serve the customer. Ashley's has gotten nothing but one star reviews since June. I'm worried they're going to go out of business before I get my couch. Another update... To our surprise they called us and told us that part of our couch will arrive on Friday August 28th. Well Friday has come and gone with no couch or phone call. So once again on the phone for hours trying to reach somebody. Finally get somebody on the phone and I'm told it was pushed back until the 11th of September. As usual through this entire process no phone call to notify us it wasn't coming. Their excuse is, well somebody should have called...... my responses was, they always say that but nobody ever calls. Once again I get a promise they will call the next time but of course we both know they won't. and of course my stuff won't show up September 11th either or September 27th. I've never seen a business run this poor.
"World wide service!!!" Made a purchase on May 2, still didn't get our order! How about to pay us an interest as a world wide business!?
My wife and I went into the store on May 25, 2020 and picked out a kitchen table. The salesman let us know that the table was on backorder and would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. Understanding that things are delayed due to COVID-19, we thought no big deal and bought it. 9 weeks go by and we decide to call and find out what's going on. Finally, after waiting on hold for 45 minutes, we get someone who tells us that they're pushed out to sometime in August. Having waited this long we decided a few more weeks couldn't hurt. We finally get a call telling us that our table is in and to schedule a time to stop by and grab it. After a week of calling and waiting on hold for hours, not an exaggeration, we get a date of August 22, 2020. We show up at the Layton store around 1:15 and the lady tells me that my table isn't there and I need to pick it up from the warehouse in Salt Lake. After all this waiting I just wanted my table, so I drive out there and pick it up and drive home. After lugging that thing into my kitchen and get it unboxed, I realize it's the wrong freaking table. Super annoyed, my wife calls to find out what we need to do to get the correct table and the lady on the phone says she'll call back after she talks to her manager. Once she called back she said that it was our fault for picking up the wrong table and I should've verified it was the correct one before I left... How the hell do you expect me to do that? After 3 months of waiting you expect me to remember the item number and verify your employee pulled the correct box? Shouldn't you verity you aren't giving away the wrong product and watch it drive off? After that, I was so annoyed I just decided to cancel the order and let them pick up the wrong table. My wife and I have bought our couch and mattress from Ashley's and I have no problem saying we will never go back. I would rather pay extra at RC Willey and get it the following week than save a few bucks and deal with Ashley's again.
Can't even pay your bill at the place I bought the furniture. A bolt fell out of my chair 3 days after they delivered it. Took 6 weeks for someone to come look at it, then 2 weeks to get the part.
Absolutely by far the worst customer service in Northern utah! I spent thousands of dollars at this store and the salesman blatantly lied to our face about exchanges. I get that we signed paperwork but nothing in the paperwork states the specifics of our situation. I stopped by this same location a month ago and was told different information. Apparently the answer you get depends on the day and who's working. I will never drop another penny in this place nor recommend it. Train your people and teach them what brings back lifetime customers. Please take your business to RC Willey or somewhere that will actually honor their promises.
