Darlene was very helpful and patient and helped us put together exactly what we were hoping for before we went in. Darlene was a great sales associate (if that’s the right title) who was readily available and helped us find the perfect couch. She was kind, calm, and helpful. This store also has a great vibe. The couch we got was the new modmax in blue, you can make your own configuration, it’s comfortable material, with slightly slanted backs, and you in theory can add sections to it if you ever want to expand (similar to lovesac’s sactionals but much more affordable). Only thing that would make this better is if there was an option for storage in seats. Overall I highly recommend going here.

The staff was too busy flirting with the little Spanish lady employee at the front podium. This was probably around Nov 19th 2024. We asked for assistance on a couch option and a gentleman (the buff dude) ran to the back to check on stock or fabric materials to see if we were interested and never returned. Upon walking around, he was back in the congregation of employees who wanted to hang out. We left and went to Living Spaces and all I can say is take note Ashley! Those people got our money and I gave them a 5 star review. Better prices and quality over all. We won't be buying from Ashley without considering other stores first.
Ashley furniture has Very helpful and friendly sales people i’m some better prices than some other furniture stores nearby. I took off one star because they sometimes can’t deliver as fast as you can get the furniture shipped to you directly with UPS or FedEx If you buy it online. That’s disappointing If you are in a hurry. Having it shipped to you directly means you have to put together. Sometimes that’s fine.
It was good other than when I got home and settled down to open the box it was a different product and it’s not exactly what I paid for cheaper model so I don’t know but it looks good to me I will have to go back to the store and talk with the salesman
Very professional, they aren’t pushy at all but they will make sure you have all of your questions asked. And you can’t beat the prices and options they offer
You are unable to return furniture that is bought in store. It would be nice to know that before you purchase.

Edit: After no luck through customer service, we drove back to Ashley’s and Kolby the store manager listened to our issue. He helped us out so much and is going to order the right railing for us. He is lending us similar railing so our bed can fit. I am happy with the help we received. The only reason I’m changing my review to 5 stars is because of the store manager here. Original post- We purchased a queen size bedroom set. We received a queen size head board and foot board but received full size railings. They question our knowledge saying our queen size box spring is wrong, our queen size mattress is wrong. Customer Service sucks they won’t refund what we purchased and I Will NEVER SHOP HERE FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN.! BEWARE OF THIS STORE!
I went into the store with a specific item in mind to purchase. The sales person assisting me was very eager to assist me but was a relatively new employee and did not know the inventory too well. I was a bit unhappy- that the other sales person in the store seemed not too willing to help us find what was needed and answer questions. In the end the original salesperson was able to supply me with the item I was looking for.
They made it easy to find what I was looking for and had very good prices compared to other places I looked at. Will recommend them!!!

We came seeking chairs. We were met quickly and shown many options. We chose and were out quickly. Very positive experience. Salesman was helpful without being pushy or condescending .
Customer service is severely lacking. Did not receive items that were requested. Had to drive to Orem store multiple times to rectify the situation. Could not resolve over the phone due to this store not answering phones. Very disappointing

I found what I wanted online and went in the store to see if I could get a better deal to my surprise, the living room furniture set was on clearance at the store. I received a better deal in the store and received great customer service.
Good staff in general but Mr Mike was not only friendly but he knew his items which meant a lot since I didn’t know much! The Atmos could improve, everyone else wasn’t very customer friendly nor did they knew what they were saying when my family and I asked questions. Definitely recommend Mr Mike! Thank you.
Our dining table is wonderful! The delivery guys brought it in, put the legs and base on it and then set it upright. It was quick and well done.

TLDR: the furniture itself is great, but the customer service experience is HORRENDOUS I was gifted two gift cards by a family member. I initially tried to use them online, but it turns out you’re unable to use gift cards on their online store, so I had to go into a physical store and show them what I wanted to order to have shipped to my apartment. I also had a coupon code that specifically said it could be used online OR in-store, but the salesperson said that there wasn’t a way to input the coupon code in-store (???). They also initially denied being able to use the gift cards; they said they hadn’t given out gift cards in years. I spoke with the family member after this and they said that they had received those gift cards from Ashley’s as part of a refund sometime last year, so I’m not quite sure what to believe. Anyway, after some discussion, they agreed to accept the gift cards, but said that I could only use one gift card per purchase. This was fine for me, since I was buying two items: a living room rug and a dresser. During the checkout process, there was some confusion on the shipping process. Online, the shipping was free for both items, but in-store they were trying to add a $75 charge to ship the items. I showed them the free shipping online and they eventually gave in to ship it for free. I guess the $75 is to have them ship it themselves and assemble the dresser when they deliver it, whereas the free shipping is just done through a third-party and they don’t assemble it. The salesperson spent a decent amount of time trying to talk me out of the free shipping, which was frustrating. We finally got everything settled and paid for, but when I got my confirmation email for my purchase, I noticed that the dresser was set to be picked up at their warehouse, not delivered to my apartment! I noticed this about a day or two after buying it, so I tried to call the store to get that fixed. I kid you not when I say that I tried calling the store about fifteen times over the course of four days with absolutely NOBODY answering. They don’t give you an option to leave a voicemail. If you stay on the line long enough, it eventually forwards you to their general Customer Service center, where all they can do is try to call the store as well and get the same result. For whatever reason, only the salespeople from the store you bought the item from can update the info. I did also get some calls about a week later from their warehouse confirming my address to ship the rug, and also to confirm that I’d be picking up the dresser at the warehouse. When I explained that I needed both of them shipped to my house, they gave me the same answer that I would need to speak to the salespeople at the store I bought it from to update that. I tried going back to the store to get the issue fixed, but there were only two people in the store when I went and neither of them knew how to help me. I ended up having to write down my information on a piece of paper and what I needed, and they said they’d have someone call me “in a day or two” to get the shipping issue fixed. About 3-4 days later, I finally got a call from a salesperson letting me know that they were able to update that shipping information. So, from the day that I made the purchase to the day that it got fixed, it was a total of approximately two weeks, sixteen phone calls, six people I’ve spoken to, and two visits to the store. After that huge hassle, everything else went smoothly. Both items got delivered and I’m happy with both items. I’m just genuinely baffled at how they handle trying to fix issues that they themselves caused.
Horrible! Ordered 10 dining chairs to be delivered. Two of them were put together so poorly they rocked, 3/8 inch difference in legs. They tried to tell me it was my floor that was off. I sent those two back. It took me weeks to get the two replacement chairs. I could not speak to, anyone at the actual store. I had to go back in. They could not help. They sent me to the warehouse site. I talked with the warehouse and they said they did not have my order. I tried talking with the store and could not get a hold of anyone. The only number I could call sent me to A call center. They said my order was correctly in the system. Called the warehouse and they said the order was for one chair now. I said it was for two. They said I needed to get the store to call the warehouse and change things. It was Days of calling! Hours on the phone! I finally sent my daughter over and she had to wait an hour and a half to finally get two chairs. They tried to give her the chairs that were put together and rocked. She wouldn’t except them. They finally came out with two new chairs. It was a nightmare! I will not use Ashley furniture again

We had a really great experience at Ashley in orem! Their pricing is amazing and our sales rep Loyd J. Was really friendly and very helpful. He helped us find the perfect sectional for our new home. UPDATE: so we ordered our furniture in the store and to our surprise they said that it wouldn't be delivered until November 23rd which was 3 weeks from the purchase date. Then I got a call from them telling me that it wouldn't be delivered until December 7th and today I just got another call saying that they won't be delivered until December 17th and that, that wasn't even a definite date. I just moved into a new home and have been here for a month without furniture. Also when talking to the costumer service lady she hung up on me while I was asking her questions about the furniture thatI have already paid for. Delivery time frames are terrible and costumer service is even worse. I wish I would have never shopped here.
The entire purchasing/delivery process went just as it should; we are enjoying the sectional very much!
Confusion and hassle, there were too many employees trying to get involved in the sale and they couldn't even get the delivery address correct

Love Ashley Furniture and the price point but I feel so stalked by sales associates when I come in here. Despite telling them I’m just looking or I am still deciding they are constantly hovering and interrupting conversations with my husband. Just leave me in peace! I know you want your commission and I’m more likely to give it to you if you aren’t breathing down my neck.
She showed me a good selection of couches. She also showed me a couch with recliners which I wasn’t aware of. Then I decided to purchase one of them.
Buying my couch and loveseat was fine but more than 8 weeks later, I still have at least three more weeks before they will be delivered. It's hard to review under the circumstance.

Quality products it seems, but I paid a lot more for the mattress than the prices shown in TV ads for the “Friday Special,” and the one delivered was not the one I tested at the store. It seems to be okay and it is to much trouble to make any changes. I’m assuming I got a good deal on the sofa bed I also purchased and hope it was a good quality piece that will last a long time.
I bought a glider that was delivered to me and didn't glide. They made us sign a paper saying we couldn't return it before we could even try it out. Huge waste of money.

I bought a sectional sleeper sofa from the Ashley Store (Orem-Utah) and waited 48 days to receive it. They delivered the wrong color and layout. I contacted customer service, but no one resolved my issue. I went to the store and spoke to the manager Kolbi. He said he would exchange the item in 3 days. A week went by and I have not received any response. I have tried to contact the store many times, but to no avail. Today I went to the store again to try to resolve the issue, and the manager Kolbi was very rude to me and kicked me out of the store. He said I could not return the product and would not receive a refund. This has been the worst shopping experience of my life. I do not recommend it to anyone. Terrible customer service.
I walked in and said, "I am looking for a black table that seats 10, " They found one on sale for $500. Just what I was looking for! They even loaded into the truck for me. Great customer service!
My husband and I purchased several large pieces of furniture from Ashley in March of 2019. We were told by the salesman, Jerry Hardman, that if we purchased the furniture protection plan, they would cover all accidental damage and if we didn’t use the protection plan, we could call after the 5 years were up and the protection plan would be refunded. I called customer service to repair chips to the dining table in November 2023 because the table easily chipped and looked terrible. They refused to fix anything because there was more than one scratch/chip. The salesman never mentioned that would be a problem. I called the Orem Ashely store yesterday to have the protection plan refunded since the 5 years was up and I couldn’t even use the protection plan and they refused to honor their word, stating they would have only offered store credit. This is a complete lie and they are committing fraud by making false promises to get customers to give them more money. Ashley won’t fix their cheaply finished furniture and they wont refund the protection plan that they refused to honor. Stay away from these people if you expect them to give you what you paid for!
The biggest piece of crap! Store ever!!!!!! You better make sure you like what you buy because ALL sakes are Final !!!! Even though they don’t tell you that When you’re making your purchase. The Orem store is terrible. I bought an 7000 dollar mattress. I had it one day I didn’t like it . I called to return it, the manager said it’s yours you bought it give it away throw it away. He didn’t care. Normally places have a 30 to 90 day return policy. I’m so angry. They finally said they would swap my mattress out, for another one. So I went and picked one, it was cheaper. They told me that I still had to pay the higher price they would not refund any of my money………….
I could NEVER speak highly enough of every person that works in this store. They care about giving you a really good deal but also care about what you’re looking for and what your ideal situation would be. Colby is such a good store manager and the sales floor people are beyond incredible. 1000/10 recommend 😊

Worst customer service ever. Delivered defective product twice. They tried to convince me to accept delivery. Now they won't deliver a replacement for three weeks. I'll never to business with this lame company again. Update: Ashley response claims my concerns are being handled. This is 100% false.
Mr. Mike was truly amazing. He went out of his way to provide an amazing service so we knew exactly what we wanted. I will say the other workers did not impress me at all. I was never welcomed into the store or asked if we had any questions. They were not willing to jump in and help Mr.Mike with loading the product we had purchased. We will be back and asking for Mr. Mikes help l.
I was in need of a functional tv stand and upon arrival was immediately welcomed by Mike K. Mike showed me exactly where to go and met with me shortly after. Once I decided on what I wanted I described my situation and Mike was able to give me multiple buying options. I was able to choose the one that fit me best and was given great knowledge on every buying option by Mike, so I knew exactly which one suited my needs. Very little paperwork and screens made the buying experience nice. Was in and out in a more than appropriate amount of time and will be coming back for my new living room set. Thank you so much Mike! We ordered a couch in store from Ashley Furniture, and within 30 minutes of it being delivered the frame broke. We called right away and was reassured everything would be taken care of. This was a month ago and we still have not received any help on our couch. All that they have done was send us upholstery to fix it ourselves. We have called many times to schedule a technician after the one that was scheduled didn’t show up. We have also been put on hold more times than we can count and have been told we will call you back when we have NEVER received a call back. We bought the couch from Ashley because we want to purchase from a place we trusted. I will now go out of my way to make sure people I love and care about don’t shop at Ashley Furniture.

Left RC Willey’s to come check Ashley’s for prices/mattress options. The clearance prices at RCW for mattresses (king) was more expensive or priced the same as mattress at Ashley’s. The difference with new vs clearance was the warranty; RCW gives NO warranty on clearanced items. We found a much better selection of mattresses (w/ a warranty) and the staff was amazing! We worked with Mike K and manager Colby, absolute gems who went out of their way to make sure we got the most of our experience. Super happy about the experience and selection that was made. We will definitely be recommending family and friends for future purchases.
I purchased a couch set in June 2024 .when it was delivered I noticed that something wasn’t right and I left and went on a family reunion when I got back I figured it out that they had given me an extra piece of furniture that I didn’t order so I tried calling them many times for many days and finally I got a hold of a manager at the Orem store where I bought the furniture from I talked with the store manager and told him my situation. We worked it out and he’s giving my money back. That makes me very happy. His name is Cody Williams. We all have bad days. Today was my bad day, but he fixed it and made it good for me thank you. Pretty good quality furniture at a good value. Sales people are easy to work with and not too pushy. Mr Mike is very helpful and provided some great insights into fabric types and durability characteristics.

I found some furniture at another furniture store and I thought they were going to hold the furniture for me till we moved into our new home. They did not and everything I had on hold was sold. I googled some key words and luckily found the exact sofa bed at Ashley. We went to the Ashley store in Orem and met our salesman, “Mr. Mike.” He found the last one in their warehouse in Salt Lake City. I was able to purchase the sofa bed and it is set for delivery in a couple of weeks. Thank you, Mr. Mike and Ashley!
I had been searching for a new couch for a couple of days. When I went to Ashley Furniture, the first gentleman I met was nice, not pushy, and was available to answer my questions. When I decided to buy the couch, I realized I had forgotten my wallet in another store. I quickly left the store but returned later in the day. When I walked in for the second time, a different gentleman greeted us and asked what we were looking for. When I said, "Oh, I'm just looking again," he responded, "Again? Do you know this store is where you shop, not just look around?" I acknowledged his response and continued walking back to the couch we had our eye on, but he kept following us around the entire store without speaking a word to us. I thanked him for his time, but he didn't respond or even smile; he just walked behind us until we left the store. I won't be going back there again.
Very shady business practices. A month ago I ordered a reclining sofa, I received delivery and order conformation. A hold was put on my cc and would be processed when it was shipped. Shipping was scheduled a month out, didn’t want to wait but what do you do. Today 5 days prior to delivery date I received a text to confirm delivery and to make sure an adult was here to accept delivery. Great I had already arranged my schedule to be home and found someone that would like my old sofa. Then a few hours later I received a call saying that the item is no longer available and I will not be getting my new sofa. To say I am upset is an understatement, I asked for clarification on how this could happen and why did I just receive delivery conformation. So after hours on the phone, I was told that the two departments don’t really use the same system so the delivery department isn’t aware that there is no product to deliver. Oh and the hold on the card, that will be dropped but it could take 7 to 10 days. I don’t even understand how someone can do business like this. Thanks Ashley for being the worst customer experience I have ever had!
The buying process takes to many steps
We bought a couch and 2 dressers. All items didn't last even a few months. Even though they are on "warranty" we could never get anyone sent out to fix them. All we bought was expensive junk.

Quick delivery after we ordered our recliner. Plenty of communication on when the delivery truck would arrive, truck arrived in the stated time window, and chair was in perfect condition
We came in with an idea of what we wanted but still wanted to see more options. The staff didn't hover and let us think and talk privately. When we were ready they helped us adjust the order to our needs so we could get exactly what we wanted. The only reason I'm putting only 4 stars is since we live a couple towns away it will take them a month to deliver.
Mr. Mike K is the best of the best! He greeted us promptly and directed us where to go, without hovering! (My biggest complaint with other furniture places is the hovering and not leaving us alone to be able to discuss) Mike did not hover or pressure us at all! He gave us the time and space to make our decision but was close enough for questions. He was very thorough with details and what certain things are covered and with what we were buying (bought a couple items) He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I can not recommend Mike enough! I will be back because of Mike!

I have been to many furniture stores and this is definitely one of my least favorite. To be concise: if you're not spending thousands of dollars, the sales associates will not care about you. I have been to this location multiple times and each time i am made to feel that if i dont spend a lot of money, my business doesnt matter. I have purchased a dining set and i have also purchased things from their clearance section. The way i am treated when i am giving them tons of money and the way i am treated when im trying to purchase something on clearance is night and day difference. I have been made to wait more than a half an hour at times to be helped and each time the general attitude of the sales person is that *I'm* the lucky one for getting a deal, not that they are lucky for having my business. (And their sales are generally not fantastic anyway) I would much rather take my business to someone who appreciates me as a customer ALL the time.

If you go here triple check everything got a item was told multiple times it had a warranty that covered pet damages and stains called to check in and had to basically push answers out of there supervisor Herbert he was extremely rude over the phone not giving a care in the world for the position I was in as well, A sales person should understand the warranties on a product and not sale something saying things are covered when they are not to get a sale or better training needs to be done in this case and a supervisor should look up a account and verify if the customer has a warranty before just saying no we don’t do that with floor models… cuz he repeated that to me over and over until I had him look it up and indeed I had a warranty but it didn’t cover anything the sales person said apparently.

From the moment we walked in everyone was so attentive. Connor and Fish were great. There was no pressure whatsoever to buy any furniture. They answered any questions we had and made us feel comfortable with our purchase. We've been many places shopping for couches but the customer service is what really set this place apart. We ordered my son a bed around 20 February, they told us it wouldn’t be delivered until March 30 which seemed like a long time but we went through with it anyway. Then I got an email saying they could deliver it March 16 so we set it up. I took my sons old bed apart. We waited all day and no one showed up. When I called they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about! They said they wouldn’t be able to deliver it until the 27th and that it was originally set up for pick up at the warehouse which is not what was discussed in store. This has been so frustrating beyond belief! Now my son is sleeping on the floor because we thought he would have a bed but now he doesn’t

Great experience…I got exactly what I’ve been scavenge hunting all over the valley for. Finally, found a comfortable/sturdy couch, with reasonable delivery, and an affordable protection plan. Literally can’t ask for anything else, I’ve tried, everywhere, best I could do is a custom piece. That, yea, I’d love to have all my own furniture built for me, but I don’t have building my own furniture for me money or skills. Thanks Dwight and the very friendly team at the Orem Ashely!

I have never stepped foot into Ashley home furniture before. And last night I drove around to 4 other places in a panic looking for a bed frame because I accidentally broke my wife’s favorite frame from moving to our new home. My wife was super sweet about it but I could tell she was heartbroken. I was wondering around in the store looking overwhelmed and an employee walked up named Conner. He was super helpful and understanding of what I was going through. He gave me his opinions without them feeling fake or money driven. It was more than just above and beyond what he had to do as a great employee. I appreciate his effort and willingness in a job that I’m sure is not easy with people having so many different ideas for their styles. I will only buy from Ashley home furniture from now on because of him. Thank you again! She was so surprised and happy with the frame. You have earned a lifetime customer.

I want to share my recent experience with Ashley Store in Orem regarding their furniture delivery and assembly services. We paid $5,000 with the understanding that the furniture would be delivered inside and assembled by the store representatives. However, on December 30, we received large, dirty boxes placed in the middle of our beautifully decorated clean room, prepared for Christmas festivities, causing significant disruption during the Christmas holidays. The promised assembly was not executed, leading to a month of inconvenience, and I slept all that time, including the holidays, on a mattress on the floor. Repeated attempts to address the issue were met with assurances, but it took an additional two weeks for the bed and dresser to be assembled. The mirror, paid for on December 30, has yet to be delivered as of February 4. An additional concern is that the promised assembly was not explicitly stated in the final invoice or instructions. This serves as a caution to others: carefully check the final invoice with instructions to ensure it accurately reflects the spoken promises made by Ashley's sales representatives. This experience has been disheartening, and I hope this feedback helps others navigate their purchases more carefully.

The salesman, Dwight, greeted us as we entered and showed us the items we were looking for. He then gave us the freedom to shop without persuasion or hovering. When we told him we had other places to check, he made sure we had his card and said he hoped we would return. The other 3 stores we visited didn't offer nearly as pleasant an experience.

Tldr: Ashley accidentally sent me a full bedroom set that I bought and picked up in store. When they realized their mistake they called me and said I had 48hrs to return it or I'd have to pay full price (I got it on a discount so full price was about 2k more than what I paid). They refused to send anyone to pick it up or help out and the only compensation I got was $150 in gift cards that can't be used online or on anything that is on promotion ----------------------------- I am also writing this awhile after this went down, I just saw the gift cards and reminded me of this awful experience so I'm also going to add that our dresser drawers completely fell apart after 3 months and had to buy a new one anyways ------------------------------- Ashley is over priced and sells nothing but junk, seriously, never shop here. You will regret it, and if you do happen to get something that doesn't break in less than a year I'm happy for you but I guarantee you could've gotten it cheaper somewhere else My wife and I were shopping for a new bedroom set so we went into the store to browse and see if there was anything we liked. We found a nice mattress but only after the sales person was pushing and pushing, never leaving us alone and only offering the most expensive mattresses that weren't even what we were looking for. Eventually we found one we liked (no, the sales person did not help, it was just one we decided to lay on to try) We then started looking for an actual bedroom set, this is where they almost saved the visit. They took us in the back and showed us something they only had 1 left of and was discontinued so you couldn't find it anywhere else (it wasn't true but it was on discount and looked nice so we got it) since it was in store and in the back we were able to take it same day. It was a pretty good experience up to this point. We went home, set it up, and we loved it Fast forward a couple of weeks...we started getting boxes for the same bedroom set, we thought it was strange but we just set it aside. Over the next 3 days we got another complete set of what we bought (turns out, when we bought the set the sales person accidentally marked the transaction for delivery rather than in store pick up) we just had it in a spare room when on day 5 after this started the selling agent called me and said, "hi, so it turns out that I accidentally had your bedroom set shipped to your address even though you picked up" I confirmed that I got and I understand, these things happen (they don't really happen but oh well) then she hit me with, "you need to bring all of the pieces back to us within 48hrs or you have to pay full price and if there's anything missing upon return you will have to pay full price for everything still" To say that I was mad is an understatement, livid doesn't even cut it. It was very difficult because we lived over 30mins away and both of us worked full time not at steady 9-5 jobs so we couldn't just go after work. I was working 12hr shifts and her 10hr shifts in the middle of the day so I had to take a half day off work which may not sound bad but that we my job worked is if I didn't work a full day I wouldn't get paid for it but if I missed any of my shifts without approval I could be looking at termination of a contract
Ashley purposely wrote up an order for the wrong couch and their salesman admitted to doing it. My wife and I went the next day after delivery and confronted them about the problem. After giving us the runaround for roughly an hour they decided to come pick up the most uncomfortable couch I've ever seen, on Tuesday. No show and no call. Basically they refuse to bring us us the right couch ordered. I even offered to pay them the shipping and any costs involved. It would have cost Ashley nothing, not a dime to exchange couches! AFTER WEEKS OF DELIBERATION THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD US THEY WOULD DO NOTHING AND THAT WE WERE STUCK WITH THE PIECE OF JUNK COUCH. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AGAIN, IT WOULD HAVE COST THEM NOTHING!!! NOTHING!!! THEY WOULD RATHER SCREW A NEW, ELDERLY CUSTOMER THAN MAKE THE SITUATION RIGHT. This company is the most ridiculous and ignorant company I've ever worked with. We were looking at buying more items, but I'd rather pay more for quality furniture at a competitor company and not waste my money or time with Ashley. The sales people are evidently trained to take advantage of elderly customers!?? Don't waste your time at Ashley! Under any circumstances!
Worst experiance I have ever had buying furniture. My order was done wrong, I was led to believe delivery was included, and when i called the store they wouldnt do anything for me. I will never shop at Ashleys furniture again.
They told me the delivery would arrive between 8 in the morning and 11. Then at 8, they changed it to 2 to 5, later from 4:30 to 5:30. At 4:15, they changed it to 6:30, and so on throughout the day. I called to inquire, and they say they can only inform me of my schedule (which I already know). Moreover, they left me on hold for 10 minutes to check my schedule, which I can see myself.

And then after delivery I had 3 phone calls and multiple text messages about surveys and reviews. Even this link for a review so here ya go. Trash upper management pushing this stuff out I’m sure. People got lives to live Ashley’s, deliveries aren’t as hard as you’re making them.
My husband & I went here to try out a chair we found online, but it was no longer available. Mike K. helped us find comparable recliners for close to the same price as what our online one was. Conner, the store manager, helped get everything set to the right pricing & Mike helped get us all checked out. Very good experience. Will shop here again.

Clear, marked pricing makes independent browsing much more time efficient. That said, we got a very competitive price on quality furniture. We'll be back!

I bought a bed set in November and eventually my bed frame broke. I called the warranty place to resolve it and turns out my sale person (Sky) missed informed me and told me I had a warranty when I didn’t. No big deal right, Anna from the Orem store was able to get me parts for free which was awesome. She told me it would be a month….So I waited the month and got concerned when I never received the parts. I called and found out that Anna never placed my order and then they passed me to April who helped me with my order but then she told me it was going to be another month it ended up being 2month and I finally received my package but since they passed me on to another employee they didn’t change my address so my package was shipped to the wrong address. Thankfully FedEx called me and I got the package to the right place. Overall this was such a hassle I consistently emailed both Anna and April. Sometime they wouldn’t even reply to me and so I had to keep calling the store. This experience was so awful and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through this.

We bought a few items here for our new home, their inventory is poor and the quality not that good. I’m also very disappointed of their delivery method. They said we’re running behind on some items at the warehouse and for that I had to wait a few days to get my stuff . So now I’m finding myself without my bed and couches 🤦🏻♀️! It’s very annoying !! After buying from Ashley we also visited RC Wiley for the first time, I was impressed of the tons of merchandise they have and the quality is way better than Ashley. We bought items from here too and they delivery was exactly when they said it was going to be ! The’re very profesional and from now im shopping from RC Willey ! Very disappointed from Ashley !

After doing that several times. We had the time to make a decision that we felt comfortable with. This was our first purchase from Ashley. We are thrilled with the table and stools we selected. Karston the salesman, was personable and able to answer all our questions and the table was delivered 4 days later. The delivery guys were quick, professional and gone within 12 minutes. We will definitely be buying again from Ashley.
In store was great, however I was told that I was going to get my couch dropped off on Thursday last week and it never came. I called and was informed it was set up for me to pick up. They changed it supposedly. And said they would call me the next day to set up a drop off time(even though day of sale we already set this up). It’s now Tuesday with no call… Just terrible. Plan to call again today.

Don't pay extra for the insurance from, My Protect All they won't or try not to cover it.They rejected my claim for a completely different reason from what I originally submitted. I hate to bash Ashley furniture for this but they recommended it.
We will update this review when we get our sectional. But our experience in the store was great. Update: horrible installation. I come home, and my wife tells me they didn't hook it up. We paid, so we wouldn't need to lift the sectionals. But they did not install it all. Would not pay a cent for their service. Update: They fixed the problem in short amount of time. Quick fix. I would say, make sure the picky person stays for the installation.

Absolute horrid experience. Ordered a couch, ended up being over 2 months delayed of when they had told me, and the representative Ali I worked with completely ghosted me after I paid. They promised me a cash back discount only to retract that offer by offering an measly in-store credit. The costumer service over the phone was no help at all. I cannot believe the absolute unprofessionalism of this place. Super unhappy and disappointed.

Giving one star because I don’t have the option to give 0. I purchased a sofa bed at Ashley Store several months ago. The couch came damaged, I took pictures, I have emailed and called million of times and no one is interested in fixing the issue. I want to return - it’s not possible, I want my money back - it’s also not possible. What should I do? Customer service, you all should do a way better job! This is insane.

I have loved shopping at Ashley for years now, but 0/10 for their customer service! One of my reclining sectionals broke (less than a year old) and I have been trying to get a replacement part or someone to fix it for over 2 months! I had an appointment two months ago and the tech didn't show up, I called and they were able to get me a second appointment three weeks later. I waited and still NO SHOW. I called support AGAIN and they said "we need to order the part first, send the serial number and we'll reach back out." I sent them the number and again, no reply. I reached out to support and they said they need to send a tech out to inspect before they order the part. And the next available time is in 3 more weeks! AND THEN... I'll probably have to wait another 3 weeks to get the part and have someone come fix it. This is ridiculous! My recliner has now been broken for over 2 months now and we bought it in June. Not to mention I've had to take work off twice to stay home and wait for a technician that never came.
Excellent experience at this Ashley store. We worked with Nancy to purchase a new couch and Nancy was knowledgable, friendly and patient. She took the time to explain our options and changed our order after we changed our minds. She even looked up past orders to see if there were any protection plan credits that might carry over. Buying a new sectional can be a little intimidating due to he cost and time commitment you are making to a new piece of furniture, but Nancy made the experience painless and fun.
We went to Ashley today and loved the store we worked with a man named Dwight. He was amazing. We Bought two couches and love them. Very Happy.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! The worst experience and costumer service. We bought a couch back in August and one of the couch cushions zippers popped open. I called immediately as the couch is under manufacture warranty. For 3 months the manager and support kept telling me that a technician would come out to repair or replace the cushion. I called 4-5 to keep finding out when they we're going to send someone. It wasn't until this last phone call that they told me not only would it actually cost $250 for someone to come out but if I didn't want to do that I would have to take it myself. It took 4-5 phone calls for them to finally tell me that. They didn't offer any credits off my payments or anything for the inconvenience. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
We bought a sofa and loveseat from this location in Fall 2021. We ended up having some problems with it starting last summer 2022.. and really needed some repairs. I was back and forth for a couple months between Ashley and GBS over who would be able to fix it. One day, I was lucky enough to get Mitch on the phone! He really went above and beyond. He cared about our problem and wanted to help us get it fixed. He contacted everyone he could while also calling me to give me updates over the course of a couple months. Our sofa got fixed and we are so grateful! Really superb customer service. Thanks again, Mitch!
We bought a nice lumbar recliner. It was delivered to our house, and it was a easy process. We went back and bought another chair to match and it was a mess. First they said I had to wait a month and a half then called me back and said I had to wait almost a year I asked to buy the floor model finally they said yes but the salesman was not careful getting it out they said no refunds as-is would never shop there again

Delivery was pushed out a week past the original date. We paid $70 for them to assemble the bed. However, when they delivered it they had mistakenly put stickers on the boxes that said “customer assembly” so the delivery drivers refused to assemble it, explaining how much much trouble they will get in if they’re late for the next delivery. Only four of the boards were labeled properly, causing hours of frustration. I called the store to get a refund on the assembly fee and was on hold for half an hour before giving up. I’ll have to take time off work to go in person.
Sales person was very patient and helpful, got everything I needed for what I feel is a reasonable price.
Clean store, lots of one on one help. Excellent pricing on the furniture and beds. Over all a great experience.

So a few years back my husband and I spent a good amount on two brand new night stands from Ashley and they never came, I called multiple times but apparently they "lost" the order and wouldn't give me a refund, and kept telling me over and over that "it was probably about to be sent out. This was two years ago, and I still don't have new night stands. Finally decided to give up on calling so they got to keep my money and night stands. Ashley furniture is a scam! If I could give zero stars I would!
April hill is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond our expectations helping us. She did everything she could to help us when most companies would just give up and say sorry I can’t help. She went the distance to solve our problem. That was the best customer service I’ve had in a long time from many different companies Thank you so much April Hill.😃
Sales dude was cool, what wasn't really cool was that I spent 4,500 on a mattress and a couch. They promised they both would be delivered on the same day but I guess there was a delay on the couch due to a mistake they made on their end. But they didn't communicate that what so ever with me at all. I'm going to leave this review until someone at Ashley contacts me and makes this right. It would be a different story if they contacted me and let me know what's going on. But instead I had to play investigator. For now I will not be buying anything else from Ashley. Need a company I can depend on and have a solid line of communication and right now it's not Ashley.

Nanci in orem was very knowledgeable about the adjustable bed frames and mattresses. She was also patient with us and let us sit and talk about the purchase. This was the most less stressful furniture purchase I have made.
Honestly shocked that 1 out of 4 staff members went out of their way to see if we needed help. One person tried to charge a delivery fee for a blanket that said no delivery fee required on the tag. She wanted to charge us a delivery fee for a rug we were carrying out. She was shocked that my mother's income was what it is, while applying for credit. Talk about judgment! Perhaps that explains why no one wanted to help us find what we were asking for when we walked in. One person was putting together a Lego set the other day at a computer. It was not busy. I was sick and couldn't wait to go home, it was disheartening.
Ali was extremely helpful and made our experience really positive! Our initial couch didn’t fit in our basement and he made the return/exchange process SO easy and helped us get exactly what we needed.
They are great at selling but terrible customer service after the sale. Cannot talk on phone to a human. 2 months to get service tech out to fix chair. THEY ONLY HAVE 2 TECHS TO SERVICE UTAH AREA!
Mike was excellent, so helpful and just let us look around and test all the couches. He didn’t hover, just let us do our thing but was there when we needed him to be. Thank you Mike!! After we left the store we checked online for some dimensions and found that the online price was much cheaper than what we’d just paid. Mitch and Herbert in the service department were so helpful and nice! And Mitch was able to secure the lower price for us. We will be back for sure
I did not feel pushed, or pressured, to purchase anything. Ali, our salesperson, was fantastic about letting us know the benefits of each of the products we were looking at, and allowing us the time to make our own decision. It was, overall, a very good experience.

One thing I hate about furniture stores are the pushy salesman and the lack of knowledge many have. However, this wasn't the case with Mitch L. I went in looking for a new bed and was afraid of getting pushed into something I didn't want. Mitch was on standby for any questions I had and wasn't pushy about anything. He was very knowledgeable. I walked into Ashley Furniture on a lunch break to get interior design ideas for my house. I didn't need new furniture- so I thought. I had my mind set on the Darcy Sofa and went to find an employee to help me get it. I found an employee named Mitch Llarenas. He took one look at me and said I didn’t want that sofa and that it didn’t fit my personality. Now Mitch being a handsome chiseled God, I knew I had no choice but to listen to him. We took a walk around the store and he brought me to the Bladen Sofa. A beautiful brown leather sofa that was only fitting of a God (such as Mitch) mitch told me I wanted that sofa and I listened. I paid for it right then and there and Mitch basically carried it to the truck for me himself. A+ Customer service from this man and a sight for sore eyes. I went in and found the couch I loved, after getting approved for it the stores internet went down. I went in the next day and they were still down and said they’d call me when they are up and running. They never called me the next day so I went in 2 days later and they were up and running and had sold my couch out from under me. So we had to order my couch and now I won’t get it for a couple months! Absolutely ridiculous.
I went to the Orem location and honestly I was scared to go in and look at the furniture because it can be pretty overwhelming. Luckily I met Mitch. Salesmen tend to make the experience worse but he really was so nice and seemed to have my best interest. He answered all of my questions and showed me around. He was also really easy to talk to and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. If you go to this location definitely ask for Mitch!

We just received our sectional, which we appreciate, but would not recommend purchasing online as the experience was not great. When trying to place our order, their online system kept on rejecting our order. We had to try multiple times a day for 3 days straight, after talking to two representatives, using multiple credit cards, and going back and forth between our banks and Ashley before we were able to complete an order. We thought that would be the end of it, boy were we wrong! A month after placing the order and setting a delivery date, we get a notification that our order was put on hold due to issues with guess what? Them charging our credit card. After talking to 3 representatives, trying 3 different credit cards, talking to our banks and confirming Ashely was the one having issues, and having our order put on hold 3 different times (each one pushing back our delivery date), we finally were able to get our furniture paid for and delivered. Luckily we were able to find a last minute delivery date to deliver similar to our original (pure luck!) because otherwise due to all the system issues it would have been pushed back another 3 weeks. Everyone we talked to on the phone was wonderful, but I'm pretty upset I spent a total of 6-7 hours getting this issue figured out, which is a lot of time away where I could be making money or doing something more productive. I am also still waiting for a call from their escalations department (its almost been a week) so I can provide feedback (which is why I am leaving it here). I'd love to have an opportunity to try Ashley again and give them another chance, I'm still just frustrated at this experience so far
We came looking for furniture and got nothing but headaches. We were "approved" for a living room set and had it paid for. The problem was that someone made a mistake in the paperwork, and the store tried to leave us with the bill.When we refused the whole order (we'll within cancellation time), they forced us to do a cancellation in store.We do not live near the store, so it was a waste of gas, time, and energy to come here. No apologies - just "sign, then leave."It'll be a cold day in hell before I EVEN think about considering Ashley Furniture for future shopping options. Ale is amazing as he waited till it was a great time for us to come in and shop and the went to buying as of today. He has been the best person that I have ever dealt with anywhere. He knows his stuff and he know what your likes are once you tell him just a few things about what you're looking for and he will make sure that you get it and if they don't have it, he will make sure he can find something close to it. Again, he is amazing. Thank you to his bosses as well. I spent A big number of things in their store, and they were bomb as well to make me happy and walk away being happy.
We were told two different prices at the same store for the same couch on the same day. At one point, the sales associate gave us a $7 discount off the current price of over $559. We had to fight for the lower price...which we found wasn't even as low as what was posted on their website. They only offered a $100 delivery fee or said we could pick it up ourselves from their warehouse in SLC. Later we found that online offers a doorstep delivery for free (as opposed to the $100 premium delivery where they set it up and put it where you want in your home). I was ticked! After spending a long time on the phone several times and threatening to refuse delivery at the door, I finally had to go into the store so they could reimburse the $100. While there the same sales associate told us their manager told them to not offer doorstep delivery. Thanks for being dishonest with your clients! If you go into the store in Orem, only look, but don't buy. Their website will give you all the discounts and all the delivery options upfront instead of shafting you by hiding details or selling things for a higher price just because you don't know. On top of all that, the sales associate had a fidget toy and played with it the whole time we were trying to talk with them. Sooooo unprofessional. It was on obnoxious to feel like we were competing against a toy for their attention.
Wife and I wanted to look and discuss furniture. Salesperson at the front door persisted in following and interrupting our discussion. We asked to look and assured we'd ask if we had any questions but the Salesperson followed everywhere we went. Eventually we just left.
We shopped Orem location on a Sunday. It wasn't busy and the sales associate, Dwight, was wonderful to work with. Not pushy, researched inventory, and was more than understanding that we wanted to leave the facility to discuss our purchase. When we returned (same day), he was ready to help us complete our purchase. Get prices and great staff!
We are now on the delivery team having to come to our house THREE times in order to put together one bed. We waited 3 months for the bed to be delivered, now they keep sending the delivery team with the wrong parts, so the bed still isn’t put together and all the pieces are stacked in the room and we’re sleeping on the floor. I will never buy furniture from this store again. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever done business with.

Ali was very pleasant and helpful, yet didn't "hover" over us as many salespeople do. He neglected to mention an extended warranty (which would have been helpful), but was great overall. The store is very clean, open and airy and furnishings are well presented. Open on Sundays too, which is a plus for many busy people.
Rude employees. Heard good things about Ashley but my visit experience gave me no reason to return. Floor people would offer help only to walk away when what you asked about was not a big ticket item but rather something affordable. Was left to try and figure out what they had and ended up walking out and was actually glad since I was not important enough for the place. To bad because on this visit I was not looking for that big ticket item. But in a few months when my remodel is finished I will be shopping for some big ticket items. But Ashley will get zero shot at that money.
We purchased a sectional in September from this store with plans to put it in our Airbnb opening in January. It was supposed to arrive in November. In Nov, they sent an email simply stating that it was delayed and they had no more information. By FEBRUARY, after multiple emails stating the same thing, I instituted a return via their text message service with customer service reps in India. The reps were friendly but kept saying the same thing: Your refund is on its way. By MARCH, with no refund, I contacted my Visa card to start the fraud protection process. VISA gave me my refund, NOT Ashley. This store is a JOKE!!! Until they get themselves together, they should just close up shop.
I came here when I was looking for a mattress and bed frame. I found one I liked on the floor that had a bed frame in it so I wouldn’t have to buy a box spring with my mattress. However, I talked to two different sales people who said I would still have to buy a box spring or it would “void the mattress warranty.” I ended up taking a picture of the frame (which is literally called a “better-than-a-box-spring frame”) and took it to a different mattress store (2 Brothers Mattress) who assured me that that particular frame was sufficient and actually even BETTER than a box spring because the slats were closer than they are in a regular box spring. So Ashley Furniture was trying to sell me something I literally didn’t need. Also, it turns out it wasn’t even included with that bed frame (which multiple sales people failed to mention when I asked them specifically about the frame), it was an extra $400 on top of the $1600 bed frame. Also, when I was looking at mattresses, I specifically told the sales guy I didn’t want a Tempurpedic mattress because the Sertas were more in my price range but he kept going on and on about how much better the Tempurpedic ones were. The last straw is when we tried to just order the bed frame, it wasn’t in stock and wouldn’t be for at least a month or more. I wish they would have been upfront with me from the beginning, it would have saved me a lot of time and I would have looked for one that was in stock. Overall, I got the sense that this store is out for your money. If you shop here, keep that in mind and take their advice with a grain of salt.

They messed up the same delivery twice. My pregnant wife has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor. After the second failed delivery attempt she went in to get it figured out and she was yelled at by one of the sales reps because he took it to personally that the order was messed up. On top of that the furniture's quality isn't near what we paid for it. Look at the other reviews and go somewhere else. This store deserves to be shut down permanently.

Would not recommend purchasing furniture that is not in stock. I purchased a whole bedroom and dining set in Nov 2021, over $4000, and paid in full upfront. I was first told that it would be available in Jan 2022, then it was February, then April, then May, and finally July. I ended up canceling the whole order because I don't actually believe they would ever deliver the product. I understand that there are delays, but they should give a realistic timeline, rather than having us waiting on a product that we could have purchased elsewhere especially when the product has been paid in full. I could have a baby faster than they could deliver a bed.
We purchased a table in January 2nd, and we have to wait for the delivery until middle of April, when they originally said that it going to take maximum 3 months. And the table arrived!!! But it’s a really bad quality, it came with scratches , all the screws are lose and came out, And now we have to wait one month for someone who can come and see it …that’s super annoying having to wait almost half year to enjoy the stuff we pay for.
Placed an order on Black Friday 2021 with a delivery date of Dec 21, 2021. We received an email that our order would be late but arriving "soon", I called in late January when we still hadn't received any other communication and they told me it would be delivered in April! Now it is April and still we haven't heard ANYTHING from the company. I have called and messaged and even tried to track our order and they say that "tracking is not available in my area"?!????!???!!!!! What the $&&$&! I will never use Ashley furniture and I am getting my money back.
My husband and I purchased couches and decided to cancel the order the next day because decided we didn’t want them. I was told we would receive an email confirming our cancellation in a day or two and that we would have a refund in 7-10 business days. That was ten business days ago and we STILL have not received our money back (and no email either). It’s hilarious to me that they can take my money in mere seconds but take over two weeks to give it back?!? Not to mention the way they price their furniture is a joke. Mark it up triple what it’s worth just to always say it’s 50-60% off? Ridiculous. This was my first time purchasing from Ashley and I will NEVER purchase from them again.
I’m not sure why Travis felt the need follow us around the store the whole time when we said we were just browsing but it was weird. And why he felt the need to follow us out the door when we left was even weirder. Maybe it’s his only excitement working during the day but trust me I won’t be back so he can follow me around.
Have been waiting 6 months and still don't have a date to when our furniture will be deliver. It's a complete joke coming to talk to anyone at the store because no one knows anything and they don't care at all. Waste of time! Avoid this store at all cost!!!
If you want your items within a timely manner do not go here and when they give you a time frame expect it to be much longer than that. We liked much of their furniture and placed a $14,000 order for a lot of furniture throughout our house. We ordered back in November of 2021 and we’re told that after being pushed back once we would get it feb 28th 2022. That day came and I was ready for our delivery but at 4:00 I called them to see when they were coming and they said that the items wouldn’t be delivered because they had been pushed back again but on mar 16th they would call and we could schedule to have some items delivered. Now mar 25th I called to see about a delivery and we were told that we can’t get any of our items until the last one is in the warehouse unless we want to be back at the bottom of the list for the remaining items meaning waiting even longer (now saying may for about half of what we should have gotten in February. May is if we don’t get half now and push the other out further). Since we already got a good Black Friday deal they said the best they could do was discount it $50 which doesn’t even cover close to the delivery fee. This whole process has been extremely frustrating and again if you plan to get your furniture in a good amount of time do not go here. Furniture is fine and decently priced but customer service and care is non existent.
I will never buy again from Ashley. I purchased a bedroom set in October and will be delivered in April when at the time of purchase we were told it would be January. We've been more than patient and really, to wait 6 months for furniture is not well Ethel it. The salesman was fine, it was just the delivery!
Terrible service! Never answers our questions, told us we could get our table in November and is now telling us we can’t get it till April! We will never purchase from Ashley again. Been a complete mess.

The sales lady was very knowledgeable pertaining the mattresses and adjustable bases as well was very pleasant. Would recommend Ashley for these products.
Don't buy anything that's not currently in stock. I was told when I purchased two couches they would arrive in 8-12 weeks, after 12 weeks I checked in and they told me it would be 16 weeks, then 18 weeks, now 21 weeks. If you actually want to have furniture shop elsewhere.

Lots of furniture to choose from. There seemed to be a lot of that prefabricated screw it together type furniture. It makes me curious as to the quality of other furniture. But it is cheaper than some other furniture stores. If you can't afford that high end furniture from those high end stores than Ashley Furniture is a great option for you.

DO NOT BUY THE WARRENTY, ITS A SCAM. "Relax... it's covered" is what it says. We purchased a sectional in March 2020 and paid $319.99 for the 5 year "ProtectAll" premium plan because we we told BY THE ASHLEY SALES REP that it COVERED EVERYTHING. Over the last month we've noticed that the cushions were sagging and that there was a tear in the fabric connecting the decking to the frame. We sent in a claim for a repair and you wouldn't believe how quick they responded - 18 minutes - to let us know that it was denied. Almost like they already knew that basically NOTHING is actually covered in the protection plan. The definition of a Scam is: a deceptive scheme or trick used to cheat someone out of something, especially money. So yeah selling someone a PREMIUM protection plan called ProtectALL that won't actually do anything is legitimately a scam. We will never buy from Ashley again and suggest that nobody else does either if this is their business practice. And now we have a broken sectional to deal with after purchasing a plan that was supposed to do that for us.
Our salesman was very attentive. We shopped through the store and found a power reclining sectional and a power recliner chair that we liked. He had to enter each piece individually which caused the total to increase by a couple of hundred dollars. "It's the system. There's nothing I can do." Looked online after picking up the sectional, and the store overcharges over $1000.00 versus buying online from their site. Looks like the chair was overpriced by $800.00 as well. I'd suggest looking in the store and then ordering online.
Strong furniture, but it takes months before you can get your orders. I'm still waiting for furniture that I ordered in Nov. It could come as late as March or April due to Covid.
Spent over $3000 here on dining room furniture and a living room set. Bought the items in Nov. 2021 and was told they were on backorder and I would get them 4-6 weeks. A few items came early, and I was happy about that. However the installers were lazy and put everything together sloppily, screws are lose, the chairs are not level at all. One chair is completely missing a screw and is the most un-level chair I have ever used. The dining room bench came with a giant chuck of wood missing from it - it came damaged! I called to get a replacement sent out. 2 months later I have called countless times, sent pictures, and I still haven't gotten the rest of my order and the replacement chair and bench. Everytime I call the number it's impossible to talk to a human. They always have a 200+ wait on the phone. I have already written off RC Willey, I guess I can add Ashley Furniture to the list as well. I wouldn't recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone, they are complete trash. Don't waste your time or money!

Annie in customer service was awesome! I arrived only a few minutes before closing to make changes to my order. It wasn't a simple task and she stayed well beyond closing time to take care of my request. She was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain how the changes affected my final cost. I really appreciate this kind of customer service.
I made an order over the phone after having picked out what I wanted in store, and it was a great experience. Got a great deal on each item and in a better timeline than I hoped.
We were there for nearly two hours and had to ask for someone to come help us, while we watched two employees sitting "working" at a desk. Knowing the price of the item online, I asked what the price was... it was $300 MORE than online, and online had free shipping. What a rip off.
We went into the Orem store Tuesday night, we were browsing around looking at the furniture, one of the sales representatives came up to my wife and I and polity asked us if he could help us with anything, we told him we were just browsing, he said, "well in that case we are closing and you need to leave the store" I was completely taken back by his comment, I thought it was very rude and disrespectful to say to a customer, we are looking to spend a good amount of $ on new furniture for our home, we went into Ashley's to hopefully find what we were looking for, we had a few items picked out but hadn't made our final decision, its sad that the sales rep made the decision for us, I will take my business elsewhere and never step in any of their stores again.
Can ingive ZERO stars? It's a good thing we weren't furnishing a new home! We ordered living room and bedroom furniture in July and we're told we would get a phone call with a delivery date in a couple of weeks. The first date we were told was in September, which seemed like quite a while tonwait, but this was when cargonships were stranded out to sea, so we let it go. The date was then pushed back to October, and then again to November. When we finally got half of our order. The other half was supposed to be delivered in December, and then pushed back again until February. We just received word that it we won't be getting it now until APRIL! We are talking NINE months for furniture that has been paid for non FULL, and who knows if we will even get it then? It seems we have no recourse, and are at the whim of the company.
When we walked in we were greeted by Rylie Krout who immediately seemed to know exactly what we were trying to accomplish. She never pushed us in any way but gave us honest and sincere answers to our questions and needs. The experience was so pleasant and we were thrilled with our purchase in the end.
Just bought a desk yesterday and am currently putting it together. I first counted all the parts out and it didn't come with enough washers. Furthermore, the holes are not drilled properly and nothing fits together. The thing is just an absolute piece of trash. Can you guys give me a refund so I can go buy something quality at Wal-Mart?
Ashley HomeStore is a national chain of furniture stores known for their package deals, where you can add some things at a low cost to a table or bedroom set. They have huge stores with tons of inventory, however most is order in store to be delivered a few weeks later depending on their warehouse inventory. This location is clean, has lots of parking, isn't super packed most of the time, but the staff tends to only help when you approach them. They are a bit pricey for what you get, and if you apply for their card you get special financing deals that might work for your needs around payment plans.

Staff was literally sitting on their phones while we packaged our purchases. The guy helping us was sooooo slow, and would just walk around or daze off - not helpful AT ALL. They have nice things but the worst customer service. Would not reccomend.

I’ve bought things here on multiple occasions. It’s always been alright. I had to cancel a recent order, which can only be done in store. The customer service agent told me I had the wrong card and to come back. I left and realized shortly afterward that I had the correct card all along. The customer service was pretty bad after that.

Broken, loose and missing parts. The seller added Installation and delivery fees, that suppose to be free (limited time offer they did not fulfill, even after I asked for it multiple times). After 8 months and multiple deliveries, I got my bedroom set and the installation crew. They broke the bed, did not inform me about it, or the missing parts, or the missing screw holes on the bed that made the bed unstable. After I noticed it, called Ashley customer support, they requested for pictures and after a few days the second crew wave arrived with terrible terrible attitude. Used to buy everything in here, now I need to reconsider another store.
There was a mix up with my furniture order but Liz and Dallin in Customer Service got the issue fixed right away. They were very understanding and great to work with. I would highly recommend Ashley Home Furniture in Orem.
These people don’t even deserve a star. Worst service for delivery ever!!! They don’t schedule a time with you depending upon where you live. And if your not home they won’t set it up for you either. If you can’t be home for the delivery they charge you again for the next time!! So not only we’re we lied by the salesman. But he was also trying to upsale us from when we talked on the phone!! Never buying furniture from here again. Your service is terrible!!!!! Oh yeah my wife is pregnant too so thanks for adding on the stress!! Ridiculously unprofessional in every way possible.
Went in looking for a new recliner for my mom. There were more staff people than customers and as soon as I made eye contact with one they would abruptly turn away (three different sales people). When my mom tried one of the power recliners and the remote did nothing another sales person heard me, made eye contact and left. We went to another furniture store close by and got what we wanted. Will not go back to Ashley's and will not recommend them to anyone.
The product I got was luckily in stock…but little did we know we were continuously lied to about prices, delivery and assembly fees, and refusal/refund policies. After my husband said over and over he would assemble and just wanted it delivered. Long story short we found out from the delivery guy that everything the employee told us was not true. I would NEVER buy from them again. Called the company and they were not cooperative in any way until finally my husband got very stern and they made minor changes. So disappointed.
Great service combined with the variety they have in the Orem store! I felt heard with what I was wanting and the team worked very well to fit me with what they had in stock. And they did their best to give me their best offer. The pricing was very transparent.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Absolutely terrible service. Original purchase in June has consistently been pushed back since original “8 week” timeline. Dates of delivery change monthly and they haven’t at all been honest when it’ll be. Every worker I’ve talked with could care less if you keep your purchase through them. Again, please do not give your attention at all to this company. They don’t care about delivery or care, just your money and won’t fulfill your order.
They have some very pretty furniture, their decor has a strange vibe. Their customers service was way lack luster. Maybe we needed to book an appointment, but they had lots of sales personel standing around talking to each other, not busy, they never approched us. The interactions I did have with their staff were not good interactions. We came in for a promotion and they seemed annoyed with us. I would probably leave a lower review but a gift card was on the line.
Can I give it 0 stars? Aboustely worsttt store & service I have EVER been too. I ordered a bed set in June STILL HAVEN'T ARRIVED then get a call it's delayed & won't be delivered to Dec. 2022!! Are you kidding me?! So go into the store to look at options, standing at the front waiting for someone to help, the girl is just sitting on her phone in a chair. Nobody greeted us, had to ask for help & the girl rolled her eyes at me. I had some gift cards so I go pick out some items then then they tell me that out of the 50 blankets they have in store, I'll have to wait till the end of October to get them. Then the manager finally comes out & doesn't even help the situation. I told her we just went to RC Willey & got a set coming next week, she says, "Good for you" with a smirk on her face. They have lost my business & my family & friends. Not even one apology from the situation & inconvenience.

I ordered a couch in MAY and it took 4 months for it to be ready to “schedule a delivery”. 3 days before the delivery they called and said my couch was out of stock… what happened to my couch that was JUST IN STOCK? Great assortment of furniture. Sales person. Older guy. I don't want to publicly announce his name but his first 2 letters of his name were Dw. Nice guy but really didn't have a sense of humor and was EXTREMELY slow at his job. It does not take 2 and a half hours to buy a kitchen set. However, with Dw it obviously does ! (Sigh).
I purchased a large sectional leather couch from Ashley Furniture. When we got it one of the recliners was hooking when laid back. We called numerous times to have it fixed and no one ever called us to fix it. After a couple years we finally got someone out here to fix it. We also purchased one of their warranties. I asked about the damage it would cover to the sales Rep before buying the warranty. He said it would cover all accidents to the couch. Well, we had an accident with one of our grandkids taking a knife to the couch. It ripped it in 3 places. I took some leather tape to hold it together and filed a claim. GBS denied the claim saying because I put tape on it they will not cover it. They also denied because it was not normal wear. The reason people buy accident protections is for accidents!!! I am a business owner myself and would never operate my business like this. I cannot believe they denied my claim. After looking the company up I see this is normal for GBS. Ashley Furniture is a part of this corrupt selling of warranties. I will never buy from them again. They should not be associated with a company that is so dishonest! I hope I can help even one person not go to this furniture store and especially not purchase an accident protection warranty.
They were SO kind and went out of their way to make it special for us and to work with our budget. Sunny especially and the manager were incredibly kind and put ALL their efforts into helping us find the PERFECT furniture piece, which we found!!! They were amazing!!

There's a reason why the parking lot is always empty. We were here for about 30 minutes and not one employee spoke to us. We were also unable to see a table in person we were interested in purchasing.
Great price, beautiful selection, rude but not pushy rep/salesperson. I did not like the 20 questions I was required to answer to buy my furniture piece. I would have been fine with giving 5 stars, but I did not appreciate the attitude from the salesperson after declining to answer all of his questions. I would have left it at that and not bothered to leave a review except for a snide comment at the end of our interaction. The salesperson trivialize my concerns about giving out all of my personal information. Very unprofessional, I will not work with him again. The amount of information they demand is unacceptable and invasive. Frist and last name, email address, home address, license plate, model of my vehicle, and my driver's license! Just for a carry out item with a cash purchase. Unacceptable.
Bought a recliner for my 81 yo Dad. First they said it would be a two month wait for it. That turned into a three month wait for it. The recliner finally came in, we brought it home everything was working great….Then six days later the adjustable headrest completely broke. Took another week and a half to talk to somebody in the claims dept about it. First available appointment for a tech to come and inspect it is 6 weeks out (Oct 2). And that’s for them to look at it and to decide if it can be fixed or if they need to send a replacement! So who knows how much longer after that it will be before we receive anything!!! They seem to have nice things and decent prices but anything after that has been a total nightmare!!! It’s really sad because my dad really needs that adjustable headrest for his neck issues and now we are waiting again for who knows how long!!!
Worst customer service ever. We bought a Langford dining table set with 6 chairs, 3 of the chairs were scuffled, had discoloration and 1 had a black stain. Was told by the delivery guy they will send a technician to fix and if we didn’t like the fix, they will replace them. No one contacted us, so we called. Got hung up or “disconnected” every single time by Ashley. It’s like once you buy the furniture from there, you will be ignored immediately. There’s literally no one talking to you once you purchased from them. Really poor quality of service and disappointing. We thought we paid for high quality and service, turns out just low quality furniture with non-existent service.
Not pleasant with their customer service. Our delivery guy was very irresponsible and Ashley’s customer service never picks up the phone. Basically, they sell stuff and they don’t want anymore business from you. I wouldn’t consider them as they have the worst service ever.
I'm giving this one star because the staff was friendly every time we talked to them, but other than that this would be 0-star review if it could. We paid for a couch here in early April and were told that it would be shipped to us within a maximum of 12 weeks (but that it most likely wouldn't take that long and would get to us within a month). Every month or so I would call and see if there was a confirmed delivery date. Almost every time they would say something like "yep, it's almost hit the warehouse so it should get to you sometime next week!". But then every time this happened and I called back a week later to follow up, they pretended like they never said anything and said that our new "estimated delivery date" would be sometime in a month or so. After almost 5 months of waiting, I started shopping around and found the same couch for the same price at a local discount furniture store in American Fork (they got it delivered to me in 2 days). Fortunately I was able to cancel my order here. I get that furniture is backed up right now because of the lumber shortage and other things, but the lack of transparency (always telling us that our delivery was right around the corner, when it really wasn't) was just dishonest and frustrating. Seems like a corrupt practice they're using to keep customers from cancelling orders.
Staff was very rude.
Placed an order (in this store) for barstools on July 6th, 2021 and they told us they'd come by July 11th. They did not show up so we called and were told they'd be here by the July 18th. Didn't show up so we called again, also delayed again. Funny thing is nobody really knew what was going on, they just kept making assumptions as to when they'd arrive. Finally I call to cancel on July 26th and they talked me into waiting 1 more day but noted I'd cancel if they didn't arrive. Shockingly, they did not arrive and I reached a representative who said it was cancelled on July 28th. Well today, August 14th they show up at my house and I saw I was charged for them. I call and ask why they showed up and that rep told me I had to go into the store to cancel. THE AUDACITY of this company. I was told they were cancelled and I was never told of this policy one time. This would have been cleared up if the store itself had answered the dozens of phone calls to them over the last month. I even tested it, just now, when I went in to return the thing. I called on my way in, watched customer service literally do nothing and they weren't busy with other customers. They then proceeded to tell me in store that they don't do returns after the items are delivered. You, the reader, see how this all sounds crazy, right? This place is set up just like a scam call center. Separate business entities with isolated information from department to department so that they can deflect and push blame on others while also entrapping you into taking your money. They did return my money, but made sure to note that was ONLY because they had a note that I tried to cancel. Which also proves that store had that information weeks ago and just never called me. Why would they? They didn't want to lose money. You guys BETTER take returns after they are delivered because there is no reason not to take a completely sealed box that was delivered in the last 12 hours! EXCEPT TO TAKE MY MONEY. Seriously what other reason is there?

Had a great experience at the store, and was excited for our living room set to arrive with a quick delivery date. The order came...and was wrong. There was no one to call to talk about the delivery besides the original salesperson. He assumed there had been a glitch in the system, and would personally see the mistake was fixed. The next delivery date came, and the exact same mistake had been made. Infuriating! Again, there's no accountability, no one to talk to besides the same salesman who says there must be the same mysterious glitch happening. While they sit with a team somewhere to solve this "glitch", I sit on the floor in my empty living room, hoping the family that was going to stay with us is okay sleeping on the floor.

We ordered barstools 2-3 weeks ago and they've never showed up. Every time we call the Orem store they never answer and we get transferred to a department that has no idea what's going on. We still have not gotten our barstools and have been told 2 weeks in a row that they will arrive on Saturday. I will be marching into the store on Tuesday and demanding money back if I don't get my barstools by then. Don't ever buy from these people this has been a nightmare.

Mike K was so helpful and kind really took the time to make sure we got what we needed and at a great price. I only give the review 4 stars because of the manager Micheal Macey whom was very disrespectful to his floor worker acting totally put out when he had to reprice an item in the system to match the floor signs. I felt awful for his workers having to deal with such a sour attitude.
We made a very big purchase and was told it would be delivered the next week. The salesman told us it was in stock in their inventory. We waited around the day it was supposed to be delivered... nothing. We called them and they said somebody was supposed to tell us and never did. They said it will be a month before they can deliver it. A month came around.We waited all day and still nothing. We reached out to them and they said someone should have gotten a hold of us and that it will be another month. Well that month came around same thing. Three months after the purchase we canceled the order and went somewhere else that had furniture in stock and would deliver on their promises. Never going back to Ashly
Working with Will S. in the Orem, Utah, store was the best. He took the time to listen to what we needed and helped us find the right furniture at a great price. Go in and ask for his help. **Follow-up - running into the same issues with delivery as others. Waiting to see if they can deliver or not... ***They tried to deliver a ripped couch; rejected and asked them to pick up the matching chairs/ottoman, as the couch is on backorder until next February. So the stars go down again.
They know the names of their products and where they're at. Came looking for a specific piece of furniture by name and they knew right where to take me. Very informative, very kind, and not at all pushy.
If I could give Ashley a 0 star review I would. I dealt both with the store and their online ordering and would never buy anything from them again!!!!

This is one of those occasions where the reviews don't lie, and I wish I would have read them prior purchasing from here. First of all, they assured me the sectional was "in stock" and could be delivered the next week. We thought "great! Let's do it" and signed the paperwork on a 3200.00 sectional. Upon arriving home, we get an email saying they forgot to have us sign a paper. We explained we live in Mt. Pleasant and its a 3 hour round trip for us to come back. I asked if we could esign the paperwork and they said no. They offered us a 100 dollar gift certificate, and I asked if it could just come off the price of the couch, to which they said "absolutely." We make the trip back up to sign the paperwork, and after waiting for 35 minutes, we are told they can't take the money off the couch, and that they will have to mail us the gift certificate. By this time, we are already exasperated at the customer service. Delivery is now scheduled for the 14th of the month. 1 and a half weeks later. Fine, waiting a little over a week is fine with us, given the current wait times for furniture. Well, today they call us and tell us it will be 8 to 12 weeks. They lie to sell product, knowing dang well they can't deliver on their promises. Very unprofessional and deceitful. We are currently looking at other companies and if we find someone that can deliver we will cancel our order. Read the reviews, they won't deliver when they say they will. Buyer beware!

I did a chat and they told me it will be delivered in June 28th. I will never buy from them again, they are dishonest people.

We visited Ashley on a Saturday afternoon and not one person on the floor offered help, said hi, or even acknowledged us (I did overhear their lunch plans being made at the helpdesk, though). We were looking for a recliner and had shopped around without success, mostly the one we wanted was months away from delivery. Our sales representative looked on his computer and found a different color of the exact recliner we liked and it actually turned out to be a better match for the colors of our other furniture. We appreciated the extra mile he went.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will never purchase from them again and may cancel my current order.
We ordered a couch loveseat and a recliner waited around a Saturday for them to show up and when they got delivered only the loveseat showed up they said we had on the order that we was going to pick the rest up witch I paid for shipping on them all so I tried to call and complain and they just said I don’t have time to listen to you call this number and set up a new delivery date. So I had to sit around a full nother Saturday for them to bring the other 2 and when they did they just shoved them out of the truck on the road then drugged them into the house. Not very satisfied with them for how much I paid for the set probably won’t ever be returning to there stores again.

Narissa was the sale associate I worked with. She was able to work with me and get everything I needed in the time frame I needed it. She was very patient and accommodating and I appreciated the time she took to help me out. Definitely will be returning here in the future.
This has been the worst buying experience!! I would go anywhere before I bought anything from this store! We ordered our couch set and bedroom set January 1st, after we purchased the furniture we were told it was on back order. One couch is available however the other one and the bedroom set would take about 4 weeks to come in. We thought no problem, we could wait. So we picked up the one couch from the warehouse and would wait for the rest to come in. 4 weeks go by and we haven’t heard anything, so I called, still on back order check back in 4 week, this has been going on for 5 months!!!! So finally, finally the store called me last Monday to let me know the rest of our order was in, and I could pick it up from the warehouse! What, I don’t think so we paid for delivery, so she fumbles around and says oh we only deliver to your area every other week,🙄 I told her 2 weeks wasn’t going to hurt us any as we have been waiting 5 months already!!! So I take the day off of work, she said someone needs to be there to accept the delivery, and I’m waiting, waiting nothing no call no one shows up so I think I better call to see what time they will be here.... yep you guessed it, we are not scheduled to deliver your order you need to come to the warehouse to pick it up 😡. We live over an hour away, that is why we paid for delivery!!! So I just canceled my entire order and will go to RC Willey tomorrow and order from them!!! DON’T SHOP HERE, Don’t waste your time!!!!!!
My husband and I purchased a couch here on February 6th for our new home. We were told the couch would be delivered by mid-March. Well, when mid-March came and went with no couch, we called and were told the couch would be delivered April 17th. Surprise--no couch showed up then. I called the next week and was told that our couch wasn't even in the warehouse, and that there was no estimated delivery date. I called again this week and was told the couch would be delivered May 22nd--basically 3.5 months from when we ordered it. When I asked why the delay was so long, I was told that it was due to it being backordered (which makes so sense to me because we were told the couch was on sale because of its limited quantities) and because of COVID measures. I understand that life happens and things get delayed, and I'm grateful that they are taking safety precautions with COVID. However, we purchased this couch thinking we'd only be without a couch in our new home for a few weeks. I'm now 18 weeks pregnant with no couch in sight for another month (honestly, not holding out much hope that it comes by that date at this point). I think Ashley needs to be much clearer with their customers to provide realistic delivery dates and to keep their customers updated when those delivery dates change, especially when it shifts in increments of months. We will not be buying from here again, though that decision may have been different had they done a better job of keeping us informed of the status of our couch. So just know if you buy from here right now, you may not see your furniture until well after you expect to see it.
Delivery date got pushed back four different times, they didn't do anything to help or try to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service. When we initially ordered the couches I think they lied to us about how soon we could get them to make the sale (we needed them asap as a medical clinic)

If I could give them zero stars, I would! This was my first experience with Ashley furniture. It will be my last. I spent $2,300 on a new living room set at the end of January. They said it would be delivered the beginning of March. The salesperson told me that the delivery team would set the whole set up (couch, loveseat, coffee table, end tables, lamps, and rug), and I could refuse delivery of any of the items if I didn't like the way it looked in my home. At the end of February, I got a text, stating that my FURNITURE would be delivered in three days. I took the day off work, so I could be home to make sure I liked the furniture, and spent the weekend before clearing out all my old furniture to prepare for the new stuff. When the delivery guy showed up, all he had was my lamps. I explained I was expecting everything, and he said he didn't know what to tell me. So, I told him I wanted to refuse the lamps, because I wanted to make sure I liked the way they looked with the whole set. He told me I could not refuse delivery of any accessories, only furniture. So, he left me with the lamps. He gave me a number to call in AZ to talk about not being able to refuse the lamps. I called them after he left and they told me the delivery guy was wrong, that I could have refused the lamps. The lady told me she would put a note in my account that I could, in fact, return them to the store if I didn't like the way they looked when the rest of the furniture was delivered (which was now supposed to be the middle of March). When I got a call in the middle of March, telling me that the delivery was now going to be the beginning of April, I decided to take the lamps back. When I tried to return them to the store, I was told that there was absolutely no way I could return the lamps. They couldn't find any note in my account, saying that I could. I was stuck with them, and they would not refund my money for the lamps. I was also told that the delivery was now going to be closer to the end of April. Shortly thereafter, I found a couch at Costco I liked, and I needed to have a couch in my living room since I had now gone 10 weeks with no furniture in my living room. So, I bought the couch and called and voided my Ashley order. But they couldn't just return the money to my card, I had to actually go into the store to do it. When I was there, they tried to get me to use my credit to buy other furniture. I told them I just wanted a refund. I am still stuck with the lamps (that I have no use for) which they charged me $100 for, and they tried to keep the delivery fee. They wanted me to pay $60 for delivery of those lamps that I TRIED TO REFUSE. I had no idea they were going to be delivering things separately. The salesperson told me they'd all show up together! I've never worked with a company that won't allow returns, until now. I have never even taken the lamps out of the box. I know where I will not be going when I need to replace all our kitchen and bedroom furniture within the next couple of years!! (I'm even keeping the terrible experience we had with the salesperson after he secured the deal out of this review. He was horrible, and screamed at his coworker for stealing his customers while we were still there. It was super awkward.)
We came in and we're helped by Belle. She was wonderful to work with, knowledgeable but not pushy. They had some stylish furniture pieces and it didn't take forever to walk around the store to see their selection.

I was looking for a bed set, I have been to rc willeys and another place got told to come to ashley's. Sandy greeted me and told me about the sale and asked if she could help I declined because I hate having people hover over me. She then proceeded to follow me through out the entire store! Will not be back!
Absolutely awful experience. Ordered a couch and they changed the date 4 times. Every time we called customer service to see what was going on they were extremely rude. They would give us a date have us confirm everything then the day before send an email saying a different delivery date. Ended up canceling our order. I would never buy here again and definitely don’t recommend it.
Very friendly and helpful, even though covid19 standard is in affect. Courtesy and informational knowledge of products was the best practice of my salesman, helped calculate prices for all the items that I was interested in. No pressure and some great deals were available. Thank you Dwight.

Took 5 months to get our couches. They said it would take two months probably to get the sale (which is already really long) They blame everything on Covid when really it’s just poor customer service and shady sales people. They gave us a $100 “gift card” as an apology which we weren’t able to use because it can’t be used on sale items and their entire store is 40% off. Wouldn’t ever recommend them to anyone.
After I tried to get through on the phone several times with no success to change my delivery date for some furniture i finally went into the store and went to customer service. I literally stood for 45 minutes waiting for just 2 customers ahead of me to finish whatever it was they were doing. When I finally got up to the desk it took another 10 minutes at least for me just to get my delivery date changed. It was extremely annoying and no apology for the long wait time and I was told when it got close to my delivery time for my furniture to come back and set the date for sure. I felt like cancelling my order rather than coming back and standing there for another 45 minutes.. ugh

We have purchased a few times form this location. Each time nothing but problems with our purchases, deliveries and no communication. First delivery, they didn't call or text and when we finally called the store to find out what was going on, they had ALL our information wrong. Even though we approved it all before leaving their showroom. We purchased a few other things a couple months ago, said we would be contacted when it will be delivered and still nothing. When we went and talked to the lady in customer service a month ago, she said she would get an update and contact us, and still nothing!! I will never shop here again. We gave them 3 tries and each time there have been nothing but problems.
Nice furniture, but you get what you pay for. If you have kids or pets, their furniture might not last.
I went in and thought I had a great experience at the beginning. We were shown the products we were interested in looking at and we felt like our sales rep Tim DeWolf was fighting for us to get the discounts that we needed to seal the deal. We ended up spending $8,500 and then later that night we went online and realized our purchases would have been a few thousand dollars cheaper than what we spent. I called into the store and explained the situation, and the representatives on the phone were super nice. They did make me come into the store and give them my credit card which I wasn’t thrilled about to issue a refund. But while we were waiting, Tim came back and confronted us. I explained my frustration to him in a calm way and he exploded. Explained he did nothing wrong. I continued to try and tell him that his job as a sales rep is to get the customer what they need and speak to our best interests. He told me that if we ordered online who knows when we’d actually receive our products and that’s why we pay a premium. I told him that it very clearly states that the price online would be honored in the store. He stormed off. The funny thing is, we were coming in to get a refund and then potentially re-run a purchase for cheaper. Since he came in so aggressive we decided to just cancel all together. My recommendation would be to price shop online before you go into the store so that you have an idea of what you’d be spending. The furniture selection is legit though. This experience made me a detractor big time. Won’t be going back.

If your read one review let it be this one!!!! Wow I wish I could give zero stars. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with. It started with the sales rep lying about the bed we were buying. This should have been the first red flag The mess working with customer service to figure out the issue should have been the second red flag. But what really topped this off was when we moved and realized the bolt and screws in the bed that should be removable were completely stripped. We were moving and needed to store the headboard but couldn't because the bolts were trashed! I called daily multiple times trying to get ahold of someone about the issue. And the additional warrantee we purchased said this doesn't fall under their warrantee, so I call the store and NO ONE ANSWERS EVER! So I finally go in to the store and work with the front desk girl who clearly doesn't know what she's doing ether. So creates a case, I change the address on my account because we moved, and I get the case number. She said a tech will call within 2 weeks to schedule a day to come out. So I wait 3 weeks giving them some slack because I know they are really busy. Then I call. No one knows what I'm talking about. I give them the case number and no one knows what I'm talking about. So I go into the store yet again and luckily (or not so lucky) meet the manager over all of Utah and Idaho. He makes it sound like he's got my back and he "knows" the best main techs phone number. He calls him and the tech agrees to come out to my house personally that Thursday afternoon. Well Wednesday afternoon I get a automated call saying a tech will be at my home between 7:30 am and 11:30 am. I had already rescheduled 2 appointments to make Thursday afternoon work!!! I get ahold of Curtis the manager over Idaho and Utah and tell him what happened and he denies saying anything about Thursday afternoon! He said he would reschedule my appointment anyway, well the tech still ends up at my house (no one was home) at 9am! I tell customer service (who called to tell me the tech was there) I tell them what happened and she attempts to switch calls and talk to the tech and she starts bashing me to the tech. Well she didn't switch the calls. I told her, ma'am it's still me. And she says oh crap and puts me on hold! She finally comes back and says she can do Saturday but doesn't know what time. I told her that's fine but I need to know asap so I can schedule my Saturday, and she said someone will call with a time frame that afternoon. Well no one ever calls. I try telling the manager I'm done and just want a refund and he refuses and now refuses to talk to me and won't respond to my calls or texts. So here we are. Saturday morning. 10:50 and I get a call saying my tech will be at my home in 30 min. I make sure my mom is there and waiting. He never shows. I get a call turns out, my address never got changed, and I even gave the manager the correct address when I went into the store! The tech was at my old house! He says he can come at 1:30 and I say my new house is 4 min down the road can your just come now? He agrees to be there by 11:30. Well it's currently 1:15 and still no ones here. I try reaching out to the dispatch number, no one answers, I call the manager he ignores my call. I text the manager he doesn't respond. I call customer service and after being on hold for 30 min someone answers asks to put me on hold. I say sure and 5 min later I get a survey on the phone and then it hangs up!!! I'm currently on the phone AGAIN waiting for someone to answer the damn phone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY! They don't care about you AT ALL. they lie , and their customer service is the worst!
We went to the Orem store, bought a couch beginning of November and called to cancel it Nov. 20th. They said my $3,000 return would show in 7-10 business and here we are 4 months later and they still won’t give me my money back! Every time I call they apologize give me a new reference number saying they passed it on to finance and that I should hear back in a few days. Never do, and end up calling again for the same conversation. I’ve talked to managers, even reached out to the VP on LinkedIn and nothing. Honestly a joke. I don’t recommend this company and hoping one day I will finally get my money back.
Our experience with Ashley HomeStore hasn't been pleasant and wouldn't recommend to anyone. The initial buying of the recliner in January was unprofessional with no one at the service desk willing to assist us. They were too busy eating and chatting with their coworkers. We have been told twice now that the chair would come in March but now just being informed that it won't arrive until mid April. The customer service and the store employee we talked to were not sure where the March delivery date came from when we have been told the same date twice by different employees there. They weren't able to provide any information as to why we were told a specific date. I'm sure the chair will be great and we loved it in the store, but the process of getting the chair has been a pain.
The employees of Ashley HomeStore have mostly been great to work with. I was passed around by two salesmen and almost forgotten. It took about 40 minutes just to be helped by a salesman who had told me he'd be right back. The customer service personnel have been awesome. They've always been very helpful when I have called and needed help. The store selection is great! They have a lot of great quality furniture. It was very easy to pick out a furniture set that I liked and at a great price. They are often selling their inventory at a discount. Last time I went They were offering half off of most items at their store. One operating practice that I am not to happy about is the unavailability of some items on the store floor. I found a couch and a coffee table set. Both of which were out of stock. There was no way of identifying that these were out of stock until I was checking out. It would have been nice to have some heads up before I had my heart set on a furniture set. I was told that the couch and coffee table would take about 6-8 weeks to arrive at my house. At 6 weeks, I tried to check on the status of my purchase. First I used the text feature to talk to a representative. That individual gave me an estimate of 8-10 weeks but failed to give me a start date of that estimate. I could not get a straight answer if that was from the date of purchase or the current date. Basically they did not know when the item would be in stock. After that experience, I went into the store and was helped right away. They said that my order was half filled. They were awaiting the coffee table. I asked if the couch could be delivered separately. They said yes and that it would arrive later that week. It did not. I called the store at the end of the initial 8 week estimate. They are now saying the arrival of my purchase will not show up for another 6-8 weeks. As for now, I do not have any trust the store estimates and am considering canceling my order.
I would never purchase from here again. We have had nothing but problems with our couch staring week one up until now year 2. We have called dozens of times about all of the issues and every single employee has been beyond rude. They have not done one thing to try and make things right. We are stuck with a couch we paid thousands for that is falling apart. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE.
We bought a couch and a chair from here. The couch we cancelled and still have not gotten our refund over 100 days later. The chair broke with the first person that sat on it. everytime we call they say we will get back in 7-10 days and we never hear or see anything. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.
I have heard terrible things about this store and was warned to never purchase from them. I thought I would give it a try and absolutely regret that decision. Worst mistake of my life!!!! Purchased a table and after a month of owning it the top started warping. Now my son had spilled water and I immediately cleaned it up, but it still warped. We had purchased a 5yr warranty and in the warranty it stated that what was happening would be covered under the warranty. Nope!!! Both the warranty company and Ashley furniture refuse to honor the warranty claiming it's normal. I'm sorry, but after a month it should still look brand new and should be able to withstand a few little spills. I can guarantee that I will tell everyone I know to not purchase from Ashley furniture and to make sure that when they shop at other furniture stores to make sure the furniture isn't Ashley furniture products. I know other stores sell Ashley furniture and refuse to give my money and business towards an untrustworthy company.
If I could give zero stars I would. We placed an order before Blackfriday and were told the order will be delivered beginning of December. Then went back to add a bed frame and were told this will delay the order until beginning of January. I am getting part of the order today mid March. Even the delivery is a nightmare, you receive a message letting to know the time frame, mine was 12:30 to 3:30 then they called me to let me know they are running early and they will be at my house at 12:0. Five minutesater the driver calls and says he is on his way and will be about 20 minutes aso 11:30. I have. Ever experienced such disrespect to the customer, please do not buy anything from them it is a waste of time.

I placed an order on November 17, 2020 and was told there would be a 3 week delay for delivery because of Covid. It is now march and I haven't heard from Ashely furniture. They charged my card the day I purchased instead of upon delivery. Speaking with others I find that this long of a delay is normal even when there isn't Covid. I don't recommend this store. Edit: I called the store the day I posted the first post. I was told, "you won't believe this, but you can go pick your order up today! I have no idea ho long it was sitting in the warehouse. I went in to the showroom today and spoke to customer service. The girl who spoke to me was very nice, but I caught her in 3 different lies during our 25 minute interaction. We were upset about them not contacting us. My family all said I should call them and tell them they had to deliver the loveseat for free since they messed up so bad, but I am not good at confrontation so I was friendly and polite when I explained my frustration and told her I was sent to the store to demand free delivery, but I wasn't going to yell at her and cause a fuss because that is not who I am, but at the same time, if she wanted to deliver it for free I would be grateful. She had to go speak to her manager. They did not deliver it for free and she told me the manager game me a discount. She looked at her computer screen and started to tell me the delivery price, at which time I interrupted her and told her I was told it would be $120 when I made the purpose. ... Lie #1. She told me it was supposed to have been $200 so I must have got a deal. After our talk on that subject she told me the manager had approved $60. (half of what I said I was told it would be) I have no doubt that she would have charged me $100 if I hadn't interrupted her. Lie # 2 I asked why I hadn't been informed that the order had come to the warehouse and was ready for me to pick it up. She first told me that I wasn't called because I had "opted out" Of what? I asked. She told me I had checked a box saying I didn't want to be notified of any delivery or order updates. Lie #3 After telling her I wouldn't have done that... that would make no sense, she said, Oh, I remember calling you. me:No you didn't call, I called you, remember? Then she said the number we have on file is.... and said the wrong finial digit of the number. I told her I knew they had my number, because I had received a call in December. She gave up at that point and just charged my card for the $59.99. I have never seen a more dishonest business. Buyer beware of this place.
Don't buy anything from this company. If you do, don't buy their extended warranty. Its a waste of money. The quality of furniture is dismal, as well as their customer service. I've been trying to get a warranty claim resolved for 7 months. Absolutely horrendous how Ashely treats their customers. 0/10 would recommend.
We originally talked with a great girl named Riley. When I went back to buy, she was busy but Tim told her he would help me. He "helped me" with the order, but he was tracking a couple of other buyers who were buying more stuff than I was. He was clearly distracted and didn't finish the order. Riley came back to help me. When she logged in, Tim had typed all my information incorrectly. I watched as Riley corrected my phone number, my address, my zip code. But now that I'm trying to track my order, I see Riley's changes were not made on the "shipping address." Riley fixed it - I saw it. But it's wrong. Online people helped me fix it; Hopefully my bar stools will actually arrive by March 18 (online gave me that date; my original date was Feb 14). Well, today is March 17 so I tried to call the store. After 20 minutes on hold, I started trying on line. Here I learned that a change order for my address has been submitted (has it been completed? - I don''t know) and that my new delivery date is April 8. Good thing I keep contacting them because they never contact me. …. We finally got notice that our chairs would never come. My husband had to go inside the store for the refund. And then they did NOT refund the shipping cost. Getting that refunded was an entirely different process. Shipping - by the way - for an item that never shipped.
We went into the store to look at sectionals. We were offered a lot of space to look without too much pressure. When were ready Tim Dewolf helped us by answering our questions. He took an interest in our family and overall made the whole process incredibly comfortable.
Ordered furniture in November, paid in full, and was told it would come December 27. Then told January 26th, then February 16th. Now we are told March 6 th and who knows if it will actually come. I might have better luck canceling my order and making a purchase somewhere else.Customer service is horrible. They are hard to get a hold of and they can not give you a clear answer. I am absolutely disappointed with my experience of my recent purchase.

We walked in to the store ready to buy. We really liked our first Salesman who helped us out. He was in the middle of showing us mattresses and then his sales manager came over and interrupted him MID SENTENCE and did a whole big sales pitch. Our salesman was doing just fine and I felt like that was super rude. Then he would follow us around the store doing his song and dance, saying things like "they've granted me special powers" and "I'm really not supposed to do this but..." And then tell us the "special and magical" price for our item and shipping after our first salesman told us that same price as a standard price. I get the whole hustle of sales but this was ridiculous. We came in ready to buy and almost walked out because of him. He even gave us a $300 "gift card" if we purchased today. (Which I had to go back and fight for because we didn't receive it when we left). All he did was write "$300 gift card" on his business card. (There's no way they'll accept that if we go try to use it. ) Next time we'll buy online or go somewhere else

Decent furniture. Gutter-tier customer service. I bought a sectional the first week of December, paying full up front. They told me it would be delivered mid January. Kind of irritating but I could make it. Then as the date got closer they moved it to early Feb, then in early Feb, they changed it to mid Feb. Then early March. Sales rep straight-up lied to me telling me that In-store purchasers get delivery priority over online orders. This also happened to my brother, who tried to warn me. I'm not doing this again. While I'm ranting, a couple years ago they made a delivery that was clearly dirty and someone else's return. I called for a replacement. The "replacement" team showed up, took my item away, and after a few minutes tried to bring the same one back inside after having tried to rub the stain out. Update 1: now expected delivery is mid March. Phone rep told me my items are marked in red for long back order. The gift cards they promised me last month never got sent Update 2: Called last week and to what I wish were my surprise my delivery date was now 2nd week of April. I griped about that and the rep took a look at the warehouse and found my items just sitting there. "Huh I guess I'll get your delivery scheduled." Me: "Why did my delivery get moved to April if my stuff is ready to be delivered today (first week of March)?" Rep: "System has been weird lately." Me: "Does it still have premium delivery and setup like I was promised?" Rep: "Nnnnnnnnnnno. Let me add that real quick, ha." So my sectional was delivered and set up and it is lovely. Total time from me handing them cash and the actual product being delivered: 4 months. Total number of times Ashley told me a BS delivery date: 6 Total attempts to call the store only to have nobody pick up and be rerouted to a call center that tells me their system is independent of the store's and can only give me basic information: 4 Update 3: The gift cards they sent me are worthless. Only redeemable in-store on full-priced items (they run constant 50% off sales to approach true value, which will end up close to online price).
My goodness does it get any better than gallivanting around a beautiful home store full of appliances and furniture and furnishings or you could spend your whole life savings on and then some?? Just don’t take the wife here. But if you do nap on the fuzzy bat black couch in the back. It’s the move trust me Dave
Everything was well and good. They had excellent service, The pricing was great! So 5 stars for that aspect! Then came the delivery.... We have no furniture in our house because we moved we set it up to be delivered the week after (the closest available time in our area) then I get a phone call saying they couldn’t get it shipped in time? We ordered it a month and a half in advance what do you mean you couldn’t ship it in time? Now we’re out of furniture for another week. Very very very disappointed with the delivery service. Update: when we got the furniture delivered they did a fantastic job and have been great to work with changing from 2 stars to 5 stars

Took forever to get the WRONG FURNITURE. Waited even longer for the corrections. Their delivery team scratched our floor and we started the documentation process IMMEDIATELY. After ignoring my phone calls we had a complete AMBUSH in my home! They had the audacity of sending out the contractor for the moving company to show up at my home, unannounced, and invite himself in to view the damages caused by his company. He attempted to emotionally manipulate us by bringing in his employees and telling us that if we choose to press charges then he will have to take a half days pay from the employees involved in the moving company. THIS FURNITURE WAS A HUGE EXPENSE FOR US AND WE WERE NOT ALSO INTENDING TO PAY FOR DAMAGES NOT CAUSED BY US IN THE MOVE! Figure it out!!!
October 17, 2020 my husband and I went in and got Tim as our sales associate. We ordered a king size Tempur-Pedic mattress and box springs, king size bedroom set with headboard, footboard w/storage bench, rails, dresser w/mirror, 2 nightstands, and a media center w/fireplace insert. We said we wanted the protection plan, the bed exchange in case we wanted to change our mattress within the first 90 days, and delivery. Delivery is no problem Tim says, "Ashley is the only furniture store still making all of their deliveries on time with no effect from Covid-19." He GUARANTEES everything will be delivered by the first week of November. But our headboard, footboard, rails, boxsprings, and mattress by Oct. 31st GUARANTEED. Because we had to get rid of our other bed before our new one could be delivered. We sold our bed on October 30th and spent that night in our guest room. The 31st rolls by and no bed. We spend a second night in our guest room. We tried calling customer service and when we finally get through to them they tell us our delivery date was pushed back to November 17th. We tell them our situation and they tell us they will transfer us to the actual store. I had called a local number not the customer service 800 number so I was a little irritated about that. Then nobody picked up the phone when they transferred me. So we headed up to the store with our truck and trailer hoping we can get our mattress and box springs at least. They do us the enormous favor of correcting everything Tim A.K.A. The Mullet had messed up on our order. Like selling us a king size bed with a queen size mattress, charging us for two headboards and charging us $1000 for two $300 nightstands marked half off from their original $600. Everything was half off, yet looking at the other stores that sell the same thing not "half off" they were the same price. Which I already knew and just figured it was pretty lame, but I can get it quicker from my local store, haha. They allow us to drive to the warehouse in SLC to get box springs and our mattress without taking off the delivery fee of course, they "gifted" us some cheap metal rails from the store. We drove to the warehouse and were able to get our box springs, mattress, dresser w/mirror, and media center sans the fireplace insert. We tell the guy that brought it to our truck and he told us it's optional. I told him we opted for it and he said it's in the box, it was not in the box. So to cut to the chase, November 17th no delivery. We go to the store, delivery was set back to December 21st. December 21st no delivery, I'm told it will be delivered on January 15th. Then a week later I get a call to tell me it has been pushed back again, they have no idea when it will be delivered. I am moving to Houston, TX on the 31st. I called to get an update and they are saying it will be February 15th, but it is on backorder so they arent sure it will be delivered then either. We are in the process of selling our house, I wanted the master to look good for staging purposes. So now I have to go in, cancel the order that I've already been making payments on, and get them to pick up the dresser and mirror that I have (that I bought a special packing box to keep it from getting damaged in our move). I have an entire home to furnish in Houston and you can bet your ass I won't be getting anything else from Ashley. I will also highly discourage anyone else that actually wants their furniture they pay for from going to Ashley Homestore.
2 stars out of generosity for the employee that helped us. Super super annoyed with Ashley Furniture. When we went in, we found a rug we liked. We bought it and then I realized it was cheaper on their website (??????) so before we even left I told them I wanted to return and buy it at the online price (as they promise to price match). The employee we worked with went back into a room with who I’m assuming was a manager and closed the door. There’s a window on the door so when I saw them in there it’s almost as if they were scheming something. When they came out they acted as if they were doing us a solid and handed us a gift card for $100 instead of essentially refunding us $40. So naturally we thought we were getting hooked up! Well, when we went BACK to buy something we were told we couldn’t use that gift card on anything that was already on promotion (THERES ALWAYS A PROMOTION GOING ON!!!!) and you also can’t use it online...??? EXTREMELY ANNOYED and disappointed in the manager and employees there. Not to mention NOTHING is returnable. I will most likely never shop there again. Unless by some miracle I find something that isn’t on sale that I can use my “gift card” on. Smh.

I purchased two things from this place and I’ll tell you everything wrong with my experience. For everyone complaining about the customer service at this Orem location, we found out you have to hit “2” for someone to pick up. When we first looked at the sofa/loveseat set the salesman seemed to refuse to let us look at anything else and wanted to get us paid and out of there as soon as he can, didn’t answer questions, and was on his phone most of the time. When we bought it they let us know a few days later the loveseat was delayed for pickup, but when I called the week we were to pickup the warehouse said now both were ready (unexpected, but thankful). BUT when we looked up Ashley furniture warehouse (Apple, and Apple Maps), it took us to Ashley Furniture Outlets and that store gave us the address to the Warehouse. Now for the other piece... it’s a breakfast dining nook set, we could have that shipped free I believe, so when we got it, we opened the boxes and started building. You CANNOT build without a power tool, it will probably take you 8-10 hours minimum as it took nearly 2 hours with a power drill and 3 people, it doesn’t contain the correct amounts or types of screws, we were short close to 40 screws, but had an excess of about 25 screws which were not as standard as the ones we were short. It is impossible to assemble solo, you will need a minimum of 2 people... as well as most pieces that do come should be wayyyy more assembled then they were. So I called Ashley customer service about the screws and they put me on hold and never got back to me 45 minutes later. Will not buy from Ashley ever again :)
This store is not even worth a 1 star rating but unfortunately no stars is not an option. In 2018 we spent close to 8 grand if not over and had waited 5 months to get all our furniture after being told originally that shipping was at a all time high wait of 4 weeks. We tried being patient but as our furniture started to show up as either completely the wrong item or wrong size then we started to become impatient with this company. Those items took over an extra month to receive. When trying to get updated and help over the phone, wait times were completely unreasonable and the phone operators were of no help. After two years of hoping that our first experience was just a fluke, well here we go again! Went to Ashley's after RC Wileys was honest with us and told us they were months out on delivery. We found a nice couch over a few grand on Black Friday and was told we would have it after Christmas but before the new year. Well jokes on us because after calling after Christmas to set up a delivery date we were told January 4th which then turned into January 19th which has now turned into sometime early February which was followed by a "Maybe, who knows." Long story short, if you love to spend thousands of dollars and wait months after months after months of frustration and terrible service then this place is for you! Good luck!

Worst customer service, ordered a kitchen dining set was never delivered on promised date, cancelled order they said I was refunded then I get a bill from the Ashley Card that I owe them for the kitchen set I never received, had to go back into the store and after 2 hours of going back and forth they finally refunded me. Manager wouldn’t even come out of the office kept sending the customer service girl out to deal with it.
Acouple of the men (salesmen) try to strong arm you into buying something to the point of lying so they can get a commission. Also they have a habit of talking down to women like they know nothing. Big turn off.
It was garbage I bought them off online and they were the worsted people they would not even bring it up to we’re I live they were very rude and would not help bring it to my door
Delivery was super fast but I feel ripped off after seeing I paid $200 more in store than what the price was online. If you go here check Ashley’s website first and make sure you’re not getting screwed over like I did. I called Ashley and they won’t price match with their own website.
Very disappointed with my experience today! Sales rep Mehshad Jeddi was horrible to work with. He was very impatient, and rushed through everything. You could tell he just wanted to make the sale. Any questions I had he would talk over me, like cut me off, and did not really listen to me. He once even said “but I’m talking about the terms and conditions right now not that.” And then when I would try to explain he would still cut me off! He was honestly condescending to me. You could tell he was VERY full of himself and wanted my husband and I out ASAP. My advice? Work with ANYONE else but him! He also needs a reality check on how to treat potential customers if the store was serious about its employees.
My gut tells me that their 50% off sale was 50% of prices that were jacked up about 300%.

WE bought a set of couches from here about six weeks ago. They have a great selection. Sales staff isn't too overbearing and they let you mind your own business. Extremely overpriced if you were to buy for the ticket price, so I recommend waiting for a 40-50% off sale and then it's reasonable. Delivery and set up was very seamless. Also, one of the couches had a mechanical issue and they came out to look at it and repair it no cost, so that was great.
Don't go here. I would give zero stars if I could. I would pay more money for the same item somewhere else before I ever returned here. First the good: I felt like we were treated alright by the staff at the store while we were in the store. Now the bad: My wife and I purchased a couch from here mid October. We were told it was in stock and would arrive at the beginning of November. At the end of October we called and were then told it would arrive at the end of November. At the end of November we called and were told it would arrive at the end of December. We were told they opened up a complaint file for us and that someone would call within 48 hours. No one called. Being really frustrated we called the corporate customer service and were told the couch we had payed for was not available and they had no idea when it would be available again. They never once reached out to us to let us know it would be delayed. If they were more transparent from the beginning I wouldn't have been as upset. I recognize things are taking longer to receive during the pandemic, but I felt like I was lied to so they could make a sale on a couch they they had no idea when would be available again. When I called to cancel my order and get my money back in December I was told that customer service could cancel the order but could not refund me my money. They canceled the order and then hung up on me before transferring me to the associate who sold us the couch who could refund our money. They also hung up on my wife when she called. After calling back several more times we were finally able to get our money refunded. I will never buy anything from Ashley again.
I am disgusted with how every single employees customer service is... went in with a friend while she was looking for a set for her bedroom. The first employee when asked if there would be a discount for the floor model (no others left) because it was shaky and poorly built simply stated that “well it IS a cheaper floor set so it’s going to be built cheaper” when all of the other models in different colors were no where as unsteady. He then walked so fast away he might as well have ran because there was no sight of him. Another employee came up asking if we were ok (which we explained the other guy ditched us which was disappointing) my friend said she had a few questions regarding what she was looking at. She started explaining to the lady that the floor model was shaky and was about to ask if there’s any way it could be knocked down in price, to which the lady rudely asked “so what was your question” before she could even ask. Once she asked the question, I’ve never heard of such a snarky short tempered no. Like there was no other possible way you could have said it couldn’t happen? I could list more of what happened with the customer service but you get the idea. Save yourself the trip if you wanted to be treated decently. Especially from a sales perspective it’s honestly disturbing how they got away with talking to customers like that. I wasn’t even the one buying anything from them that day, but I can say I likely will never go back or buy anything anyway. Will be telling my friends and family the same as well. Your job is sales, not to be a rude customer avoiding employee.

I wish we had a better experience the last few times we shopped here. The first time we experienced a nearly 6 month delay on the second piece of a matching sofa set. The second purchase included the product arriving damaged and missing legs. I have left two messages with the company, one at this location in Orem and one with on the corporate customer service system. So far no calls have been returned. We are extremely frustrated at the lack of customer service.
If you need to call customer service, expect to wait at least 20 mins to talk to someone. Even the online chatting system takes a long time and usually have to go through a few different people to reach the “right” one. Terrible system Ashley has. But i go into a store and there are several groups of 2 or 3 employees hanging out talking. Maybe it’s about a customer?? Might be faster to get any customer service done just going into the store
Had a very good experience and wasn't pressured at all. Just enjoyed taking our time to check out all the furniture. Staff was great! We felt we got a fair deal and they did the delivery and setup. Delivery guys were just as great.
Terrible salesman and tactics. When we bought our bed they offered us a 300 dollar gift card we could use after it was delivered. We shopped online to pick out what we wanted and then went to the store to order. Turns out they mark up everything in the store so your 300 "gift card" is basically covering (if that) the ridiculous mark up difference between the website and the store. It's shady and I highly recommend staying away from this place.

I hate taking time to leave reviews, but I would hate for more people to experience what we did. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m not just taking about the customer service hot line, but the managers in store, misleading sales employees, all of it. I’m not going to take the time to go into detail about what happened with us, but I completely relate to all the other negative reviews. I would never in a million years recommend doing business with this company.

Buying from this company was a mistake that cost me money and months of pointless miscommunication. We ordered our furniture at the beginning of June. Yes I know covid might cause a delay in the delivery. Our delivery kept being pushed back again and again with no communication to us. We didn't get our furniture until 2 months later. It wasn't even all of it(all we ordered was a living room and kitchen set). It was only half. We had to call multiple times to figure out what is going on and no one could answer us. After another 2 months we got more but not all of our furniture still with no explanation. They also brought a rug that we did not order. They charged us for it and won't return it for any reason. We bought a kitchen set that we were told did not include the rug. We called multiple time to figure out what is going on but again there was no one to help. Finally someone told us they would set up a return order. After another month we got our final piece of furniture. We also called about the returning order. They told us that we had to go to the store to return it. We went today and they told us that they can't take it even though it is still in the package. This process has been horrible. So much lack of communication and no one knew how to do their job to help. All we wanted was furniture and we had to wait 5 months to get all of it. We had to take days off of work to get it thinking we would get all of it in our order. No emails, no calls, no texts to tell us that our orders were coming separately. I am never going to buy from Ashley's again. They are a terrible company that has no idea how to handle customer support. Never shop from here.
My mom bought furniture from them and for the last 4 months they told her that the furniture would get in stock the next month then they texted her that it was being delivered October 13th so she cleared out the old furniture to get ready for it and it never showed up. She called them and they said it wasn’t going to be delivered until November 21st, and told her they had just the loveseat that could be delivered in 72 hours and they would send her $100 gift card. After 4 days no furniture and no gift card. She called again and got hung up on a couple times then someone told her that the furniture was not available and there is no record of a gift card. She was constantly lied to they wasted her time, she is getting a refund and from now on buying furniture from anyone else but Ashley.
STRAIGHT UP LIED TO ME. I was scouting around for a new couch, and when I saw the Zardoni sectional in store, I fell in love. I didn't want to make an impulse buy, however, so I came back a few days later to make the purchase. I was told by the salesman who approached me that the sectional I wanted had been discontinued, so my only option was to buy the one on display, which was on clearance. I asked him several times to check the warehouse and see if there were ANY Zardoni sectionals that I could buy new, especially since the clearance sectional came with a mandatory clearance bundle that included two ugly tables and two lamps. I just wanted the sectional, and I was willing to pay more for it. The employee who was helping me didn't even pretend to look up the answer to my question--he just told me straight to my face that there were no more of these sectionals anywhere for purchase because it had been discontinued. I was super bummed as I headed out of the store until I realized that I could just check the online store for the sectional I wanted. I pulled up the Ashley Furniture website and sure enough I FOUND THE ZARDONI SECTIONAL AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. It was cheaper online, too! I even got an extra 10% off coupon. Overall, I'm very pleased with how things turned out, but I am VERY DISPLEASED with the fact that the employees at this Ashley Furniture store are SHAMELESS LIARS.

I will never again buy furniture from Ashley! They are the worst to work with and their furniture is horrible! The frame of our coach broke within a year. We had bought the warranty and they said they wouldn’t do anything. The people that insure the coach said Ashley needed to fix it. This went on for weeks. Back and forth. Finally they gave us a credit to go get something else. We did and well over a year later they are sending us to collections for the broken coach that wasn’t returned to them.
Great service, friendly, non-pushy sales people, and often great sales and quality of furniture. Backorders are high right now, so if you're thinking of getting something in the future, get it now, and it will take months to arrive.
Got a leather chair delivered that was ripped and the bottom was falling off!! The delivery team told me to keep it at my home, sign that its damaged and that they'll replace the chair... well i call and then they tell me because it was signed for i have to keep it and they might repair it!!! Are you kidding me?? This is unacceptable Shame on you Ashley homestore.

I ordered my sectional way back in the day. Still don't have the whole thing. That doesn't bother me as much as the lack of communication. "We can deliver your stuff on the 4th of July" The 4th: "did we say ALL of it? Oops. The rest on August 6th" The 6th: "Ok, but maybe like the 20th" The 20th: "uhm...would you believe September 3rd?" The 3rd: "we meant the 12th..for SURE. Promise." The 12th: "So...looks like October 7th" Yet another month. That's what I was told today...and no, not by the first customer service rep with her kid yelling in the background who put me on hold to have a conversation with her husband before hanging up on me, but the nice escalation rep who told me the best way was to actually go in the physical location and make a scene. Cool. I'll go do that now.
I write this review as the 5TH delay of the delivery of our couch is occuring. We were promised our couch would arrive one month after we purchased it from the Orem location. It has now been nearly four months of waiting for our entire sectional to arrive (so far at 4/7 pieces from two deliveries) and NOT ONCE did they call us to let us know there was any delay. We have had to call to track down our couch month after month, only to be given a different delayed delivery date... Only to call again on the new date and be told there's yet another delay. They will not let us return it. They make disingenuous apologies. We are stuck. I regret the day I ever walked into their store. We will never be buying from the homestore again, and I suggest everyone avoid it, or be prepared for months of delays and hours of sitting on hold to locate your purchase.

I purchased a table and couch at this store, along with a 5 year warranty. The handle on my recliner has broken off, and I have called and called and called. I tried messaging online and even on Instagram. I’ve called the warranty company separately, all to no avail. No answer to any calls, no return phone calls, nothing. I have tried to be patient, but after weeks of being totally ignored, I will certainly never buy another piece of furniture from this store. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY. They will not honor it.
I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and personalized attention. However— One advantage RC Willey has over Ashley is the one time $59 delivery for a year’s worth of deliveries. I paid $250 to have Two couches delivered... not ideal.
My wife and I just moved to the area,to cut the expense of our move we sold are furniture. We went to the ashley store in orem,walked in walked all through the store,by the way we were the only people there. Not 1 salesperson came over to ask if we needed any help,we walked right past were they were all at playing on their phones,not a word. How they make any money is beyond me,need to fire the whole bunch and hire people who want to make sales. Never again will I go to a ashley store!! Oh yeah, we went to another store very helpful and bought 2 laz e boys, king size bed,and coffee table.

Nice selection. I came in looking to upgrade the furnishings in my office building and was very pleased with the selection of smaller loveseats. I needed loveseats 61" or less and I didn't want the IKEA look. I also found some nice looking and comfortable barrel/club accent chairs. The price was so good I purchased 5 instead of just 1! The sales staff was friendly with no pressure to buy (my favorite combination!). The only downside is the delivery time. Due to COVID, it's just been harder for them to get deliveries from California, so definitely out of their control! Masks are required in the store, but you are able to sit on the furniture so you know how it feels.
Over priced. We found the same exact couch somewhere else for half the cost.

HUGE BUYER BEWARE. IF YOU LIKE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. PERIOD. My couch broke. Completely broke. The store said I could do nothing but take it to the warehouse (which is 1 hour from me) and have them fix it. I proceeded to do that. The following experience is from the warehouse: Honestly had the worst experience. We brought our couch in and explained what we thought had happened. We called in a week later to get an update and were told that they were still working on it. We then called the next week and there was no answer for 2 days, no matter when we called. We were then exposed to COVID and stayed away from them for 2 weeks but they had called us telling us the couch was done. Once our quarantine was completed, we called beforehand to get our couch and it STILL WAS NOT DONE. The manager called me as I was so angry and he told me it was OUR FAULT as we had not explained what happened with our couch correctly. We then proceeded to get our couch a few days later and now it squeaks and creeks everytime we are on it. Completely dissatisfied with my interactions and my “improved” couch. I received my couch back. As the bed that fell off of my couch may be back in place, now the cushions sag in and the whole thing CREEKS. I then spoke to agents Lisa and Shaun C. From Ashley who told me if the couch could not be fixed by a technician that they would issue for a new one. The technician came and stated that the creeking came from the polyester on the bed (which this sound did not occur before so this man was completely lying) and then offered us new cushions. How the hell is this supposed to fix my crap couch at this point? I went to the store, calmly tried to explain the situation where the woman at the desk LITERALLY STARTED YELLING AT ME. A sales manager Pat then tried to tell us he could do absolutely nothing, that a real manager was out of town, that my horrible experience at the warehouse was based off of them having COVID product delays (which is not true as they told us they had the part the day we took the couch in). I only got their attention once I finally started yelling at them where they then told me they would “talk to the manager”. Not reassurance that something would get fixed, no assurance of a new couch, nothing. I am ASTONISHED that any place feels so at ease treating their customers with such disrespect. Do not walk away from Ashley furniture, RUN.
Ugh, what a gross experience. We came in to use a gift card (which my grandma received for bad service in the first place, but that's another story). First, the products. Everything is about four times what it's worth. My husband is a carpenter, and he noticed that most of the furniture was on the same level of craftsmanship as Ikea. It's also very poorly organized, with a lot of the items missing tags. Second, the service. The salesperson with whom we were required to check out talked down to us and told us that "this isn't Hobby Lobby" when I asked where to check out. The process takes a long time, and requires a LOT of personal information. I almost just slapped payment on the counter and took my item, they were so condescending. Believe the bad reviews. The other ones probably received a discount or compensation in exchange for a false review. I hope this store closes soon.
I feel like everything here is marked up to the max. To check out we only wanted one small item and it took over 20 minutes with no line at all. Everything was very unorganized and hard to find anything. I dont know why anyone would shop here. The employees in the Covid 19 pandemic take off their masks even though they require masks for everyone to wear. The salesperson who helped us was very condescending.
Poor quality furniture. Was already damaged on delivery to home. Replacement furniture was also damaged. I’m not sure I’ll go to Ashley’s again.
I wish I could give 0/5 stars.... Horrible communication! Our delivery date was reschedule and they did not bother to tell us. And the new delivery date is a weekend where we'll be out of town! Now I have to try and rearrange a family camping trip because Ashley didn't bother to tell us our delivery date has changed. Honestly, if they would have been upfront, yes, I would have been bummed but I understand things come up. What is not acceptable is for me to waste an hour of my time, only to find out, 2 days before the scheduled delivery, that our couch isn’t coming. Apparently communication is too much to ask for. I wish I would have read reviews before buying from this place, this seems to be a common occurrence. The funniest part is this: when I asked the rep what can be done to ensure future communications from Ashley about my delivery, they instructed ME to call for a status. I need to call if they change anything about my delivery? Really? Is that a joke? Customer Service 101: if y'all make any changes to my order it's YOUR responsibility to communicate it with me - the customer! Why is that difficult to understand? Terrible customer service! Y'all better deliver our couch on this new date. If I have to rearrange my plans, and plans of my family, only to have it be changed again I am cancelling my order.

I purchased a sofa and bedroom set on May 30th. I received half of the sofa the following week, then was told the rest would arrive 6 weeks later. I then waited around on delivery day and nothing arrived. I received no calls or notifications about the delay. After waiting on hold for two hours, I find out that delivery is pushed back to August 17th. Almost 3 months since my purchase date?! I understand things are behind due to Coronavirus, but Ashley really needs to communicate better with their customers

I finally got hold of the salesman via their personal phone and was told it would not be available until end of August at the earliest. But was told there were no guarantees and it could be longer. That is over 3 months from date of purchase until date of POTENTIAL delivery. This was not a special order or anything. I purchased something right off of the showroom floor. I will never shop at Ashley again. RC Willey has everything in stock and if you can't pick it up same day it will be available next day. Not only that, but RC Willey ships to your local store. I have to drive over an hour away, past at least 2 Ashley locations to get to their warehouse to pick up my order if it ever arrives. Not impressed at all.

First off, every time you ask about anything, they say “for you, I can do 50% off. But in every other furniture store, already has it market at regular price at that. So say RC Willey the furniture is $1,000 at no discount, and Ashley’s regular price it’s at $2,000. Then the salesman keeps saying “I’ll can do 50% off for you, But in reality he’s doing nothing. It drove me crazy!!!!! Then the bedroom set that we got for our bedroom, “was and still is” a nightmare gone wrong. When were about to pay, the “salesman” said that the bed will be Delivered in two weeks(Give or take a day or two so that is good) “BUT” The rails on the bed can be at your house for almost another month past that. So like 5-6 weeks. We were about to just walk out and just go to RC Willey but the salesman said we can get you temporary rails, won’t be the same color but At least your bed will be secured until the other ones come In. I said “ so you promise?” He said I promise and I’ll make sure because I’ll even be there. He never showed, the temporary rails never showed, my brand new dresser would not open and close because the side latch or something was not there I found it in the bottom drawer I guess they were thinking I would never use it I guess. There were no sleep tracker’s for our Tempur-pedic which I had to pay an extra $500 for. I even bought an expensive dining table with eight chairs and they brought eight of the same chairs but It should’ve been six and the two end with The arm rails. So, if there was a “Zero” star, that’s what they should’ve gotten

The salesman "forgot" to add our end tables and cuffee table. The sofa chair was torn underneath, and none of the feet holes were pre-drilled. Pretty disappointing experience overall. 🤷♂️
We ordered a bedroom set with them during their Labor Day sale. The set is beautiful. Given the pandemic it took three weeks to deliver which is understandable. It’s when they delivered that the trouble started. The delivery men showed up almost two hours early. Me and my boyfriend were out and about. I was rushed home from the grocery store with my four kids to accommodate them when they showed up outside of their delivery window. One of the delivery men was extremely rude. He treated me really poorly. Yelled at me and told me that he wasn’t going to deliver the furniture because I was upset they showed up early. Once they left we discovered the support slats on the bed were broken and one of the drawers for the nightstand were broken. It took four days to have someone come look at the items. We received a new drawer for the nightstand almost 2 weeks after the original shipment. The slats for the bed never came. We’ve spent a week trying to get through to someone via phone and online chat only to be let down and now the whole frame of the expensive bed we bought is breaking because they failed to uphold their standard. Make sure you discuss in detail what your expected of when the delivery comes and make sure whoever purchases the set is there when they deliver. Otherwise they treat you like a none the wiser. I would not recommend this store. Also we were told we would receive a 300 dollar gift card upon purchase that we still haven’t seen.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! So sad that we don’t have 0 stars option to review this place. The store looks nice, the furniture also looks great. The problem starts after you pay! They will try to fool you trying to extend their delivery due date. They did this to us for 2 times. They will come up with lies and more lies and you will never receive what you paid for. We bought a really expensive sofa in April at this store, our delivery was pushed 2 times and the last date was for July. Are you seriously? 3 months waiting for the date to pick up the sofa and they told us they just have one part of the sofa. Customer service do not work at all, if you need to talk to them you will wait a good 30 minutes on the phone. We went to the store and asked for a refund. Don’t loose your time on this place, see the comments on their Facebook page.
My salesman was amazing. Everything after that was crap. Couch was supposed to be here today. Ordered 5/23. Called on the pickup date, not available tell July 27th. Warehouse said they called June 4th and left me a message. Well, I had no call, and my phone is not set up to leave voice messages. So they lied, or dialed another phone number. They should have also tried more than one time. We spent 3 hours, in the store making sure the couch we wanted wasn't out of stock or on back order, we even passed up on a couch we like better because it wasn't available tell July 3rd ish. The couch we ordered is now going to get here even later than the couch we originally looked at. Communication is for sure not a positive thing with Ashley furniture. We were told there was nothing they can do. I decided to do a refund. Store doesn't do refunds if you paid with cash. They'll have corprate send you a check in 2 to 6 weeks. Yeah, okay, super helpful. So now I'm out that money and waiting on corporate for the cash to go buy another couch. Crap happens, but at least try to make it right. 0 stars. Won't be back. Found the same couch at RC Willy for cheaper. I had a great experience with this store at first, but they dropped ball afterwards.
Ask for Tim DeWolf! We had a wonderful experience with Tim. He listened to our needs and what we wanted. He is very knowledgeable about all the furniture items we had questions about; even items that were online and in other stores. He was patient and kind as we went around trying several different items. He listened to what we liked/ disliked and helped us narrow it down to our final purchase. By far the best person to work with! Ask for Tim, he will help you find exactly what your wanting.

The only con was that I was originally told a lower price for a dinning table set. I came back 20 minutes later to purchase it and someone else helped me and was given a higher price. Overall, I'm very pleased with the help and service I was given. They were friendly and helpful. I received my furniture within a week. The deliverymen were professional and we're wearing mask and gloves. I would order from them again but I will try to find my original salesperson.
Disappointed with the sales tactics of the salesman who sold us a mattress. We purchased it 5/02 because my wife was 30 weeks pregnant and needing something asap which we told the salesman. He told us 5 to 7 business days. When I pointed out that the order said direct ship 5/27 he stated that they always put that but it comes sooner. I knew he was lying but this was after we were told nothing was refundable so I knew we had just been lied to for a sale. 24 days later, my pregnant wife is still hurting and we are hoping its shipped tomorrow. That was the last item we will ever buy at Ashley's. Hopefully the mattress will be worth the wait but its been a long 3 weeks which was supposed to be only 5 days...

Went into the Orem store Thursday May 21 I knew exactly what I wanted and it was on sale online but thought I would go through a salesman since they’re paid on commission and everything has been closed due to COVID-19. The store was pretty empty, after several minutes an employee asked me if I needed help, I said “yes” and he responded with “be right back” never saw him again. After walking around I finally found another salesman. I showed him exactly what a wanted (a TV stand/entertainment center). His iPad was slow and wasn’t working correctly. Finally got it pulled up and all my info. He had to get approval for the online price match from (I’m assuming) a manager in the office named Kate (?). She was very unprofessional and acted annoyed/put out trying to help the salesman get my order in. All of this right in front of me. Finally after SEVERAL awkward minutes of going back and forth, everything is ready. What should have taken 15 min took almost 40. I’m not sure if the salesman was new but either way this “manager” should have been more helpful and professional especially in front of a customer. Next time I’ll just purchase online and save myself the headache.
In store experience was terrible, their greeters were some of the least helpful people I have ever met. They argued with me endlessly, told me I was wrong about my issues over and over and I later confirmed I was correct with the manager. The guys straight up got written up and sent home for being so difficult. It also took me 4 weeks to get ahold of someone for online customer service and ultimately they just made excuses for their lack of communication, and were very argumentative. I will never shop here again, I would rather pay twice as much money to never deal with these people again.

We ordered our couches, tables and son’s bed March 23. The bed was supposed to be our son’s Easter gift. We put off delivery until April 8 so we could sell our old couch. April 8 comes around and the couches and tables get set up no problem! Our son’s bed was missing the hardware to put the loft together. They had over 2 weeks to be sure everything needed was there, but NOPE. We got text messages saying they were reviewing our order to ensure it was all there! A week and a half later we get the hardware necessary so I call to make an appointment for them to come out and complete the bed. I was told it would be another 2 weeks till they could get someone out and I’d be placed on a cancellation list. I happen to look to see if we for sure had everything to get the bed done cause at this point my husband and I are just ready to do it ourselves. But the slats for the mattress to sit on are missing too! My husband calls to talk to someone and is told that we may be charged for the slats! Are you kidding me? We have now waited a month and it’s still not put together. If we end up getting charged you can expect a BBB complaint filed. This is absolutely ridiculous. We’ve ordered from Ashely Furniture one other time and had no issues. We are DONE with Ashley Furniture. We will go elsewhere for our furniture needs from now on.

If I could use negative stars, I WOULD! I am so disappointed. My husband and I purchased a mattress, thinking they would have some satisfaction guarantee. Fun fact! They don’t! You cannot return a mattress, even if you wake up with backaches. They will not tell you about the no return policy until AFTER everything is signed. The management at this location is just a joke. Don’t expect to talk to the manager when something is wrong; He will hide in his little back room and send out his sale associates to try to sell you other shiz. Don’t let Ashley Furniture be your $5,000 mistake. #ashleyfurnituresucks
Don’t, under any circumstances, buy a mattress here unless you’re already very familiar with the specific model you’re getting. My pregnant wife and I have woken up with back pain every morning since we purchased, and after exchanging our mattress here for a more expensive one, still have that same back pain. Now, they are telling us that even though we spent over $3000 on these mattresses, that they will not refund or give us store credit for them. We have kept a cover on and they are in pristine condition. Many mattress stores like Purple and Nectar offer full refunds if you’re not satisfied, but not at Ashley! And they don’t tell you there are no refunds until you happen to ask AFTER you’ve signed the contract. There are 5 salesmen for every customer in this store. Buy from Amazon!

They sale quality furniture but the provide junk warranty. The extended warranty company won’t com our and repair my leather couch because one of the items came from when I moved it! They told me they won’t come look at it until I have payed someone to repair the other damage! I wasted almost $500 on this BS warranty!
Great sales and special pricing! The sales staff is helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Best of all, they aren't pushy. They have no problem letting people just look around in their showroom without hovering, or having 10 people bug you about "needing help" every minute. When you are ready to buy something, or just have some questions, there is always someone easily found and happy to help. We just recently purchased a bedroom set for our new home, and the gentleman who helped us, Andres Alvarado was everything I could ask for in a customer service representative. He was low key and a very low/no pressure sales person. He kept a polite and comfortable distance while we were just shopping around, yet was immediately available when we had questions about price and options. Andres helped up customize our bedroom set so we got exactly what we wanted at a great price. We will definitely return to the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Orem for other furnishings for our new home.
Tim was kind, quick, and incredibly helpful! Went in to buy a coffee table and look at the barstools. Found some from North Shore that were discontinued but was able to take the displays home for an amazing price on top of the 50% sale they already had going on. I definitely recommend coming here to make your house feel like a beautiful home for a great price!

They sold me an extended warranty. At the time, I specifically asked them about several SPECIFIC issues and they said it covered them all. My extended warranty was for 3 years, but it a year later I made a claim and they denied it! I showed them the paperwork and they still denied it. They said this warranty no longer covers this specific issue! UNBELIEVABLE!! I talked to managers, the corporate office, and everyone else I can get a hold of. No one wanted to listen, in spite of the fact that IT SAID RIGHT ON MY WARRANTY CERTIFICATE!!! Not only that, but they wouldn't give me back my money that I spent for the warranty (it's several hundred dollars!) The only way to get past this is to hire an attorney. Of course, it would cost more than it's worth, so I'll just tell you 'buyer beware!" I will NEVER BUY anything from them again, but if I were you, NO MATTER WHAT, don't waste your money on an extended warranty!
Worst buying experience never going to buy from again. Don't waste your time. When at store the sales guy that helped us 1st said he had to get a iPad to complete my order went to get one and never came back. So I had to go to front of store to have someone else help then when they brought the deliver items wrong peices and some of the items was not even delivered. So then my daughter had to sleep on the floor because they said I had to wait 2 more week for next delivery day. Finally did receive the right stuff but never would I waste my time again with ashley furniture
Definitely download their app before going into the store.. I purchased over $2,500 of living room furniture. Went home, checked the app they over charged me by $600. I went back in and Dwight who helped me that was so nice and giving us “such a great deal”, all of sudden turned into my worst enemy. The manager honored the online price after I threatened to cancel my order. Dwight then went and started complaining about me super loudly to the other salesman. From now on, I will order EVERYTHING online. As should anyone considering if they should buy from them.

I would give negative stars if I could. Worst sales and customer service I have ever dealt with. I bought and paid for a bedroom set on 11/29/19. The sales rep failed to order all the pieces needed. I have been sleeping on just a mattress laying on the floor for the past month. While part of my new bed is leaned against the wall useless (delivered on 12/11/19). I have called the store several times trying to get what I paid cash for. Their customer service is no help. I still haven’t received an answer or time frame for the rest of my order. Today’s date is 01/09/2020. I have spent a lot of time on hold and waiting for them to not return my call. I would post a picture if it would let me. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! found a dining room set and buffet that we loved and paid for in full for the items. We live 150 miles from Orem and so ask them to deliver it. They said it was to far away and couldn’t do that, we would have to pick it up at the warehouse in SLC. Drove home and a few days later took a trailer out to slc which is 180 miles away. They brought out all the furniture in boxes that had to be assembled. They loaded it into the trailer and we drove 40 Miles back to Orem to talk to the store manager about having to put it together. The lady that sold it to us had only been working a few days and had neglected to tell us we would have to assemble table, 6 chairs and buffet. The manager came out and was so rude. He ask why we hadn’t paid to have it delivered and assembled. Because you said it was to far away to have it delivered. No one ever said we have to put it all together. I was never rude or raised my voice and the manager was ignorant and said it was to bad because we had signed the ticket and we could take it home and assemble it. He then walked away. He has ZERO management and people skills. Front desk girls were very nice and tried to help as we talked with the very rude manager. We have bought lots of furniture through the years and have never had to assemble any of it. WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THE OREM STORE AGAIN or ashley furniture
This is going to be long and detailed! We found a bedroom set through Ashley Furniture online that we liked for a reasonable price. We went into their Orem store on Black Friday too see if we could get a better deal. As we walked through the door we were handed a scratch off ticket and told “what ever the discount is on your ticket you can add it to the deal you get in store today.” The ticket was for 5% off purchase. Salesman Jarred approached us. We told him and showed him on my phone exactly what we wanted(easy for him), he looked it up and told us a price significantly higher than their online price. We asked to price match as advertised and used my phone to show Jarred the online pricing. Jarred called a supervisor over to ask if they could price match their own online price. His supervisor said yes. We then asked this guy in charge if we could add the 5% off to the deal. He responded “no, we’ve already dropped the price as low as we can go.” We asked Jarred about a mattress and box spring and informed him that we didn’t want to go to expensive right now as we would be getting a mobile base with a new mattress in a couple of years. He showed us some floor model mattresses at a discounted price. We chose one we liked and asked Jarred if it was what we needed for our king bed as far as if it was just a mattress or mattress and box spring or what? He said, “this is what you need. You will just have to pick it up because we don’t deliver furniture we sell off the floor.” That was fine. We picked up the mattress two days later. It took a half an hour for employees to discuss and argue who’s responsibility it was to help me carry the mattress out. It wasn’t Jarred’s responsibility. We asked about the box springs the mattress was setting on. And were told “no those box springs are super expensive it’s just the mattress.” We gave our old bedroom set away. Our new Ashley Furniture bedroom set was delivered on December 11, 2019. It is now January 7, 2020, and we still don’t have a bed. We are in our 40’s and are sleeping with a mattress on the floor like we’re broke teenagers. The delivery guy informed us that we needed to call the store because our salesman did not order the posts that go with our headboard. He also informed us that there was no box spring included with the purchase. We called the store and talked to a manager. He was nice enough to discount the price of the headboard posts they didn’t order. And gave us a small price off the box springs our salesman Jarred led us to believe was already included. They “can’t process a purchase like this over the phone.” So we made another special trip an hour away to pay for what we had been led to believe we already purchased. And we were informed the next delivery date would be January 8th. Today is the 7th. We contacted them as they have not called us to confirm delivery. We were told our stuff is not in this delivery because someone entered it into the system as “pick up. And we never scheduled the pick up.” 🤬🤬🤬 Ashley Furniture in Orem said they would call us back. It is almost close of business time for the day and we still haven’t heard back! I guess it’s good we are not elderly or handicapped getting on and off the floor every day. I don’t know anything about furniture but feel like I know a heck of a lot more about it than Jarred. They have their money because we paid cash. Everyone I know is going to hear about this. This is my first and will be my last experience with Ashley Furniture!!!!

We worked with Nate and Mike who were excellent. My mom has Parkinson’s and we needed help picking an adjustable bed for her. We brought my mom in a wheel chair and Nate was very patient and very helpful. He helped lift my mom in and out of then beds we tried and kept things simple for us. We ended up with a tempurpedic hybrid and basic Ashley base. He did not try to upsale us. He worked with our price range and I felt like we could trust him. Mike was also helpful with suggestions that would help my mom with circulation and bed sore pressure issues and understanding our needs. I was dreading going mattress shopping but they made it so much more pleasant. We are excited and grateful. Thanks guys!
The place felt pretty lively. Tomas greeted me and offered to help with anything. I told him I needed to find a bed but didn't want to spend a lot of money so I would probably buy just a mattress. That day they were having a deal for one of there mattresses that for only an extra $200 I would be able to get the full bed and a dresser with it. Overall I was very happy with his service and his knowledge of the deals going on in the store. If I need anything else I will definitely go back!

After a few years of having my sectional I have to change my 5 star review to a 1 star. After being sold the sectional I had a great experience from the saleswomen that sold me on the couch and convinced me of the amazing and unbelievable warranty that I could purchase in addition To the couch purchase. This included pretty much anything that you could think of that could go wrong to your couch they would replace the couch or a specific cushion. I bought the warranty because I have 4 children under the age of 14 and I knew I would need the added protection, however we were lied to and they did not honor the warranty we bought after many many attempts to attain the warranty. I heard from so many that I should never buy from Ashley because they are dishonest, however I was still willing to give them a shot. I am here to echo what I was told by many. They are good at making you feel comfortable about your purchase. Do not buy from Ashley!!

We somehow ended up in the mattress section even though our mattress is great. But we met Mike Macy there, our new favorite person. He’s a fantastic salesman, and he gave me a really cool pen, and I drew this picture of him with it because he’s just the best.
You can find good deals there on nice furniture, but for the most part it's out of our price range.

I so appreciate the help of Mo, Scott, and Michael from the Ashley store in Orem Utah who jumped in and solved my problem to make sure that all of my order was delivered on the proper day without any problems. (Initial review in early August...) They may provide great products. But I'm having trouble figuring out which ones to buy, and I can't get help from the local store because the phone number always takes me immediately to the central corporate store menu system with customer service representatives that are too busy to answer my phone call for long periods of time. I've given up twice after waiting over 30 minutes. I've sent an email to the service email address, and no response as of 24 hours later. Too busy to provide good service. And apparently the Orem, Utah store has their number set to permanent autoforward to the central system. Not helpful at all! (Continued review in November...) We ended up buying a bedroom set, and the night it was delivered we slept on the new bed. It was a jiggly and squeaky experience. We called the next day and requested they take the set back, which they did. The refund took 2 months to process. Not very efficient.

I went with my mom for the first time to this store and the furniture looks beautiful and of good quality. However, our experience was not the best given that they have poor customer service which made us feel unwelcome just because we are from a different country. Not coming back to this store.

We sat on the sectional in the chair and said, "we want this one, but mirrored." The delivery guy didn't even show up during his 4 HOUR WINDOW and refused to wait for just 15 minutes when he showed up and we weren't home anymore. So we rescheduled the delivery, but then they delivered the wrong sectional (it wasn't mirrored like we asked) and we were surprised to learn we had to go back and buy the armless chair separately. I went in to the store to sort it all out. They drew it out to make sure we were getting the right one this time. But when the delivery guys came, they said they couldn't take the one I already had in my living room. I can't fit 2 couches in my living room. The point of this was to exchange. After talking to their dispatcher, she called them to tell them to pick up the one I already had. But the delivery guy spoke to her one speaker phone in front of me and said, "No, this isn't your fault, it's the customer's." He blamed me for this whole debacle in front of my face! Then he proceeded to mumble and complain during the whole process of picking up the wrong couch and setting up the right one. THEY STILL DIDN'T DELIVER THE RIGHT COUCH! They only had two of the three pieces so I had to go back into the store and ask for them to deliver the third piece (armless chair). The customer service is horrible. The salesman was not upfront with us or explicit about what he was ringing up in the computer. You can't call the store when you need to, but have to wait on hold for forever to talk to a call center (they won't give you an estimated wait time or a callback option). We were working with Ryan, the store manager and Drew, a salesman. They were both seriously incredible and went above and beyond to take care of us. Edit: We have completely gotten the run around from this company. Every expectation they have set has now been broken. They are not helping us at all and when I ask to speak with the manager the associate says there's nothing he can do and won't help me. They were happy to take my money and now won't actually help me get my furniture. I'm disappointed this is how they treat their customers. I wish I would have never bought from this company. I would have happily gone ANYWHERE else.

Purchased a couch. I don&'t have issue with it at all. But the delivery guys were unprofessional. They barely acknowledged me and one was taking selfies in my home which made me uneasy. They were not being careful with my furniture either, they were basically tossing it around. The furniture is fine, but the delivery was unsatisfactory.
Worked with manager Scott, made sure that at the end of the day we felt like we were taken care of and left us wanting to come back to Ashley's!

Don't try to gather information over the telephone with these people. Their system is such that you will probably end up with a national customer service center with no knowledge of local matters, and when you actually get a live person in the Orem store, this person will have not the slightest inkling of what customer service means. The person will not understand what you want and will not attempt to clarify. And forget it if the item you are asking about was not something Ashley sold to you. They would never deign to talk about such a thing, but they may hang up on you.

I could say so much about the orem location on how amazing this team is. I usually shop at Rcwilleys but I loved this bed set at Ashley furniture My husband and I went to the location in Draper and the bedroom set was over 2,000$, they refused to give me the 18 month free financing so we walked out of the store and called the Orem location. I spoke with a guy named Michael he set everything up for me over the phone he talked to his manger ( I forgot his name) were he said we can definitely do that for you. We went on Saturday morning to finalize everything. Michael and Mason helped us in the store and told us they could give us longer financing if we wanted to look for a bed. We actually need a new bed but I didn’t want to spend the money but if we had a longer time to finance why not. So we got a new bed and a bedroom set for killer price and amazing customer services. I will definitely be returning again to the orem location. If It wasn’t for the amazing customer services from the orem location due to the Draper location putting a bad taste in my mouth I would of definitely just went back to shopping at rcwilleys. If you are needing new furniture 100% go to the orem location and ask for Mason or Michael they will hook you up!
Thieves. They will charge you DOUBLE what the price online is if you buy in store. Literally DOUBLE. Glad we realized this before going in. Sleazy sales people. They even block their website inside their store so you can&'t go on their website on your device if you are inside their store. We&'ve bought online and the products are fine but terrible customer support if you need to call you&'ll be on hold an hour.

I went into your store last night to buy a lift chair. We were in the store over 20 minutes waiting for someone to help us. There only a few shoppers in the store and there were salespersons standing around talking to each other. The only time we were approached by a salesperson was when we finally decided to leave. When we told him we couldn't get help he said sorry and let us walk out the door (still not any offer to help). We went to the other furniture store up the street and were helped immediately and purchased our chair there.

Very frustrated... Picked a couch set on the sales floor for the simple reason that it had Velcro under the cushions to keep them in place. I specifically asked the sales rep if mine would have the Velcro and he confirmed. Delivered and only one of the three pieces has the Velcro. I called and made a complaint, had to wait over a month for a tech to come out. Tech says the pieces are from separate factories and he cannot install the Velcro on the pieces missing it. Go to the store... The rep at the desk, Krista, was very friendly and did her best to help me. She said someone would call me.... She called me a few days later and said the regional manager would give me the sales floor set but I have to transport my old set to them and pick up the floor set.... First, why must I settle for a used set when I paid full price for a new set? Second, I don't have a truck, so why must I pay to rent a uhaul for this exchange? Being reasonable, I said I would take the floor set if they did the transport, I was told the regional manager declined that and said I would have to transport it. I tell Krista no that isn't ok, and she said she will get in touch with me. I didn't hear from her, I called a few days later and spoke with Amanda, who is a wonderful rep for the store. However, she couldn't help me. I asked for a manager. She said Brett, the Sales Manager, is the only manager at the store right now. I asked to speak with him. She was gone for a while, came back and said he said he cannot help me and won't speak to me. I again told her, as the acting manager of the store, he should take my call, he REFUSED. I marched my little butt to the store. Brett, 'Sales Manager' didn't ask at ALL what my issue was, despite that the issue began with his sales staff being misinformed and improperly trained. He stood there with a blank look and continued to say he cannot do anything for me, even though he never once asked what my complaint was. Even if you cannot fix the problem, LISTEN, and pass it along to someone who can. He stood there while I was speaking and he ATE HIS SNACKS!!!! What 'Manager' refuses to speak to a customer? I was polite and friendly up until he refused to take my call, WHO DOES THAT? Why is he in a manger role at all? I will 100% update this review if they make it right. But the lack of contact from the store manager or regional manager, the horrible offer they made to 'fix' their mistake, and the complete incompetency of their 'Sales Manager' blows my mind. What a shock.... Going forward I guess Ashley Furniture is off our list, crazy thing is due to the credit limit we received and their furniture options I would have been a loyal customer for life.
The sales people are great — but if you have back issues I’d check somewhere else. I bought a couch and recliner — it looked great — the set i sat on was cushy and comfortable. The set i got looked great in my family room — but both pieces were hard as a rock. My back was always so sore — I could never get comfortable. I was thinking I’d get s Cushsy set just like the one I’d sat on. My sister, who doesn’t have back issues yet now has it and she’s hsppy!
I went there with my mom to look for a new floor rug for our house to put under our dining table in our kitchen. And also we looked for other items. They didn't have anything we wanted or needed so we left and found what we needed somewhere else. All is well though and I'm a happy man! 😁

Terrible customer service. I purchased a living room set that was on clearance so they don't deliver. When I went to pick them up, the sales guy was whining about helping me load it. A group of salesman stood around the desk and wouldn't help either. They watched as me and my teenage daughter carried out a 100 pound chair without offering assistance or even holding open the door. Whoever the guys in the black shirts are pathetic. Stood their and laughed and watched. The lady working the computer was rude and ignorant. To all the workers on August 10, you are all trash bags.
This was by far the best and easiest buying experience I’ve ever had. I wish I could remember the name of the girl who helped me, she was great! She even helped me with my 1 year old while we were finishing up with financing. I’ll be coming back and recommending this store to everyone.

Love how they aren't pushy at all, and didn't try to guilt us into purchasing that day. We went back almost 2 weeks later, they remembered who we were and answered all questions we had, and were very helpful explaining everything. Went for the half price sale. Excellent sale prices without the black friday crowds. Nice show room, very full, slightly difficult to maneuver a baby stroller. Sales associates are very friendly and knowlegable, answered all my questions. Each piece has measurements on the back of the placard, very helpful. Quality pieces, but still pricey for me so only 4 stars, but the half off sale is 100% worth it. Protection plan also quite encompassing and worth taking a look at. Definitely visiting again!

The service up until we bought the couch was fantastic! After though, they delivered the couch and ripped a hole in the bottom with the dolly and made it out to be no big deal. They delivered the wrong couch, didn't want to switch it for us and didn't take responsibility for the mistake (over my dead body would I ever order a green couch). They didn't want us to keep the green couch until they brought the grey one (which was over a week). Then they somehow after having already delivered us a couch once, got the addresses all mixed up. We feel as if, since they already made the sale, they don't value us as customers anymore.
Worst experience I've had at a furniture store. They missed two ship dates and sent us a broken picture frame. I made multiple calls to the store and was told that we could replace the wall art and that our shipping would be refunded. The next day I got a call from the store and was told if I wanted a repaired picture I had to drive two hours to return the picture. I said I wanted to cancel the rest of my order and was told they were going to ship it anyway and that I would have to make an two hour drive to cancel the order and get my card refunded because it was impossible to do over the phone. I've worked with multiple credit card processors and systems either they are completely incompetent at using their system (I wouldn't be surprised) or they straight up lied (I think this is more likely). By far the worst experience post shopping I've ever had. Edit: I've had a couple days to think this over and I still would have to say this place is terrible. I've never had a more belligerent and unreasonable person I've had to deal with on the phone then the sales women I spoke to at the store. If I could give zero stars I would. Edit #2 - We were scheduled for our 3rd delivery attempt today and the driver called and said he thought out house was west of Lehi. That's over three hours from our location. I'm not sure how or why they keep messing this up, but it's getting ridiculous. Edit #3 - I'm losing track of how long this order has taken to ship. We're easily two plus months of being told that it will ship within a week or two. They won't let me cancel the order by phone so I'm feeling kinda stuck now.

The process was made smooth thanks to the stellar sales associate Mason at the Orem location. He answered all of our questions, and was very patient with us. He even came in after his shift was over to assist in getting everything in order! The only issue we had that made this review 4 stars instead of 5 was the delivery service. We were told that we would be provided a 30 minute notice for when the deliver crew would arrive. Our delivery window was in the early afternoon and my wife was going to be the one taking care of signing and directing the deliverymen upon arrival. The trouble started when I called the morning of delivery to have them contact my wife's phone number with details regarding the delivery instead of mine. This way she would be able to know when to come home from the errands she had to run. Just a little bit after the delivery window started, I get a text saying that our order is TEN minutes away from our home. Not only is it not the thirty minute notice we were told we would receive, but my phone was the one getting the update. I had to call my wife, let her know she needed to rush home from where she was (15 minutes away) in order to have our furniture unloaded. After speaking to her, I received a call from the truck driver who stated he was at our home and no one was answering, I told him that my wife would be there shortly (less than 5 minutes) and he did not seem to understand that we were not at the house. I got off the phone with him and then within a minute got a call from another Ashley employee telling me that there were men waiting to drop off our furniture outside the home, and that they would not be able to wait past a certain time. My wife got there within the five minutes of them arriving, and was able to let them bring in and assemble the furniture. In the end, our furniture was delivered, and we are happy with what we bought. However, I don't think that the delivery fee was worth the money. We could have just driven up and picked up the two chairs on our time, and saved ourselves the 100 dollars and the hassle of trying to get the delivery arranged when communication with their employees and us was obviously not a priority. So, save the extra buck and just pick up the furniture yourself if you can.

Found the set of furniture I wanted real quick and a great deal went to pay to find out it was out of stock and would take 8-12 weeks then wanted to pay half cash and finance the rest and they acted like it was going to be such a big hassle that I ended up just paying cash for all. Let me tell you the story of buying a sectional with recliner here. We come in to check out a sale, end up paying over $3000 for a floor model sectional, sold two us with two power reclining seats and a power console. It happened to be the day they swapped to a tablet-based system. The check out process took an hour and a half. No big deal, I get it. We were patient and employees were friendly. We get the couch home and realize two of the three power supplies were missing. The sale wasn’t done sans those parts so we called, and they said they’d get those mailed to us immediately. Cool. Great experience, no complaints. A week or two passes, one power supply showed up. Still one short. We contact customer service and they tell us we will need to pay for the other one. We explained it was already supposed to have seen sent because it wasn’t our mistake. CS rep acts like she’s doing us a major favor by sending it. A couple more weeks pass. A giant box shows up, it’s the wrong part. We take the box in and explain what happened. They assure us they will get us the right part. A week passed. Another giant box shows up. Again, not at all the right part. The same day we get a voicemail saying our parts are at the store as they had been marked undeliverable. We take the box back to the store, excited to just have the part finally but what was there was the giant box we returned a week ago. I’m out several thousand dollars and are two months into having this massive sectional that as of yet doesn’t recline. The actual part we need is supposed to be coming this time. We’ll see. My gut senses another giant box on my porch next week and another trip in. This couch purchase has eaten about 5 hours of our time between checking out, dealing with customer service, and returning wrong parts. I’m about to bill for my time.
Awesome furniture-shopping experience - couldn't have been better! Went into the Orem location with the intention of testing out a mattress-in-a-box that I was actually going to buy from Walmart since I'd be able to pickup at a store location during the time frame I wanted (versus waiting for a delivery window) while in the middle of moving to Sugarhouse. MacKinzi greeted me, walked me back to the mattresses, hooked me up with an even better mattress at an even better deal AND I could pickup at the Ashley warehouse in SLC. The logistics were great & MacKinzi is about the sweetest person, plus super quick at wrapping up the deal on her iPad. Done & Done. Then, I thought disaster had struck when I went to get it today & the stinking thing wouldn't fit in my car. Fortunately, LuAnn & Luis at the warehouse wiggled, twisted & somehow maneuvered this thing into my car when they could easily have just given up. The only thing that could have gone better is if someone had been there when I was dragging it out of my car & lugging it upstairs to my new apartment. I will refer anyone looking for furniture to the Orem location - ask for MacKinzi - & a huge thank you to LuAnn & Luis at the warehouse.
Love this place! Customer service five stars. Bought some furniture that was unbelievably low priced, then realized when I got home it wasn't going to fit. They backed it out, refunded me to the cent, and made the whole process smooth and stress free. My salesman was Mike, a pro who bends over backwards to be helpful. Will recommend this place to my friends, for sure.

Do not buy from them. My first sofa set I bought was supposed to come between 1-4 pm. I took the afternoon off, to wait for it. Then, I had an event at 7 pm. They had not showed or called by 5 pm. I called and they said they would be to my house by 7:30 pm. I explained I would need to reschedule. They put me on hold and said the drivers would be there soon and to hang tight. They showed up at 6:30 pm, made a mess and made me late. This most recent set I purchased had to come in 2 deliveries. They charge $250 for a delivery. I refused to pay that, so they &"discounted&" it to $180 for the delivery. They said that would include the whole set, even though it was 2 deliveries. When they brought the first set, they called and gave me a time they&'d come. Then they called right after that, with a different recorded time. I called customer service, they were unsure. And I had made commitments for part of the day, since the initial call. I had to reschedule that initial delivery. Today the second portion was supposed to be delivered. I was not given a time range, so I called in. They informed me it is listed as a &"pick up&" an hour from my house. I have not way of getting it to my house myself, other than renting a truck. Now I have to work it out with them to get the rest of the set. All said; just go to RC Willey. You can get the same quality (or better), for the same prices. And you get the delivery for much less!! I will never shop at Ashley again. I cannot believe they can be so bad at customer service.
Brett and Cameron are the best!! They are extremely knowledable about all the products and furniture. They are super helpful but not pushy at all! We love going into Ashley and talking to them about our lives and also about our next purchase. We have loved the service equally as much as the furniture we got from them! 11/10 for sure!!

They did an amazing job!! My wife and I weren’t sure about actually getting a bed there but they stayed over two hours after closing addressing each of our concerns with patience and kindness! We are definitely an Ashley furniture family from now on!!

The purchasing experience was great but the delivery experience was awful. I was told to do some things through UPS but if I wanted a tracking number I had to call because they wouldn’t email one to me. Hold time was 20- 30 mins and I would end up being on the phone for about an hour total. Delivery was awful. I ordered a couch and the delivery guys wrecked my couch giving it multiple holes and it didn’t even have the middle seat cushion. They said they would send out a technician to inspect the couch but it was about a month out and the cushion would take 7-10 days to arrive. Oh and they also scratched up my coffee table. So I’m left with a banged up couch with no middle seat cushion. The delivery guy was apologetic but wanted to guilt me into giving him 5 stars when he was delivering my stuff and made it very awkward. Beginning was great but ending was awful.

Great furniture for good prices and long well covering warranties. Delivery was fast and easy. arrived with not even a scratch on my couch up three flights of stairs and they handled everything.
I wish I could give this place 0 star... when We stopped by around 2 pm. There are 5,6 sales peoples there not doing anything and only few customer was there. 2 sales associate was helping customer at that time.while We looking around, one associate walk by and she told us items are 50% off and left. She didn’t give us other info but she was with other customer so we kept looking around. She walk by again while later and she asked me if we have any question, I told her I’m fine right now because we were still looking. Other associates were not even greeting us. Felt like they were ignoring us or no interest to sale anything at this whole time. Me and my husband were joking about they must not commission base. (There are no engagement with customer at all) Anyway. So when we found one, I want to talk to the lady who told us about 50%off sale because she was only associate said something about it. But I couldn’t find her at that moment so when other associate come close I was going to ask question but he came to ask about our business and want to get our business card! (We were wearing jacket that has our business logo on it) and after he get it he left... there are no “Do you have any question?” Or “Did you find anything?” ... nothing.... before I want to say something he was gone... then finally When I found her, I asked question and she told me again that items are 50% off not much other info And she said I’ll be back after help someone else. We said ok and waited about 20min. She never came back so I looked over where I thought she was and I found that she was just chatting with one of associate. Few other associates come by while we were waiting but didn’t even looked at us. We started frustrated so we left! We were little upset about how they were but we really liked that items so decide to get it in next day. Went back at 10am. Different associate was there and greeted us. And we asked about 50%off. Then he told me that was just yesterday 12 hours deal. And he said they should mention that yesterday to everybody. Well.. they didn’t say anything about yesterday 12 hours only !!!!! I told him how it went yesterday. He kept saying “ if there were busy” ... no. It wasn’t busy at all. But also he didn’t even try to do anything about it. Im not saying give us same deal but was not our fault we missed sale. I work retail I know customer service. Even you might know nothing you can do.. try to do something. Show customer you care. They have a no-return policy.. Seriously?? I mean, I liked the furniture inside, though it was kind of pricey, similar to RC Willey prices.. But compared to RC Willey, the service is no contest. For example: we bought a couple of barstools from Ashley, and they told us we had to pick them up at their Salt Lake warehouse. Cool, fine. But then we get there, and the line to the warehouse was forever long, and we didn't realize until after we got home that the barstools we picked up were damaged. When we called Ashley, they said we'd have to go to the warehouse and do that whole debacle again. So we just kept them, sold them to a friend. Compare to RC Willey: we told them a barstool of a table set we just bought was damaged (barely), so then they scheduled for a new one to be delivered, and picked up the old one. From our house. For FREE. Ashley furniture.. really is just not worth it.
My order was to be here in April and has been rescheduled 4 diffrent times. It's now two months later and just got rescheduled again. I've emailed several times with no success, trying to call is a joke because your on hold for 30 plus minutes waiting to talk with someone. When you do talk to someone they assured me I would get my order "this time" but yet again it has been rescheduled

I would give the salesperson Makinzi 5 stars, she did great and wasn’t pushy at all. The delivery was bumpy though, had a lot of issues with bad communication and changed dates. Luckily it eventually arrived and we love the quality of the sectional. Would recommend but don’t bank on a timely/worry free delivery.
Wow. Amazingly high prices. I walked in and they were trying to give me 50% off of furniture if we bought a $2000 mattress. But then their furniture was still priced higher than anyone else around. I ended up walking out.

They have lots of affordable options. I really love their couches. We have several. The salesman who helped us was very nice, didn't bug is but when we had questions he was around to answer them. We ended up getting leather reclining sofas that recline like, two ways. They also have a clearance section with really nice stuff.

I purchased an expensive sleeping pillow and the service on a slow Saturday took 30min just to check out. The pillow was not in stock so the sales rep asked for my address and told me it would be a two day shipping to my address. When it never came a week later, I went back into the store to ask if they had it. They told me it was set to pickup at the Salt Lake warehouse and not delivery. They said they could change it back to delivery and it would take 1-2 weeks to arrive. Then four days after that I get a call and they ask when I would like to pick up my pillow at the warehouse!?! Now I’m frustrated because it’s taking an eternity to receive my pillow that I splurged on. I actually went to the warehouse 45min away to pick up this pillow and it took another 45min to get my pillow. I checked in at the front, went to the back and nobody was around to help. I stopped to ask somebody and eventually somebody came and asked what I needed. I told him and a while later he came back and said they lost my order form. I go back to the front and the guy reprints the order and eventually I get my pillow. At the end of the day, it was very much a waste of me time and a true example of poor customer service. Just go to RC Willey.
Our Sales person; Jerry was great! However, delivery was horrible, they delayed my couch for 2 weeks, when they finally delivered it one piece was missing, that took them another 2 weeks and communicating between customer service call center and the store is the worst experience I have ever had. Pretty much it was a waste of my life calling their customer service and their store.

I bought a couch and loveseat, end tables, coffee table, lamps and a rug. I told the sales lady we would pick it up instead of paying for delivery. She forgot to take the delivery charge off and called me the next day to come back in for a refund. Somethings they don’t make super clear prior to deciding to pick up ourselves is A) even if you purchase in Orem you get to go to Salt Lake to pick up the couch and love seat. B) the warehouse in salt lake is only open Tuesday -Saturday 9-5. Real convenient. Not! How about the place stay open until 8 or 9 pm. C) the couch and loveseat don’t get shipped together. D)the rest of your purchase will come through the mail and you only have 24 hrs to return any item sent from the time it was delivered. E) you get to put together the said items WITHOUT instructions. If I wanted to put my own furniture together I could have went to Ikea and at least planned on putting it together myself!

The only reason I’m giving Ashely one star is because the day we bought our furniture the guy who helped us was really nice. We bought our furniture back in November over Black Friday and were told that our furniture could be held for 90 days out while we were building our home. Our move in date got delayed, as they often do when building, and we were able to push our delivery date back a few more weeks. We were told on multiple occasions that we could move up our delivery date if our home was finished sooner than we thought. It was finished a week and a half earlier than expected so I called Ashley Furniture and spoke with Dana who said that moving up our delivery date was not a possibility. She also said that some of our things were on back order and would be delivered another week and a half later. That was frustrating, but at least we would have half of our things being delivered. Our delivery date for the first half of our furniture supposed to be delivered this Saturday so I called today to make sure that everything was good to go. When I called I was told that NONE of our furniture is in stock and we will not be able to have ANY of our furniture delivered for another two weeks. We will be in our new house for almost a month without furniture. This is been the worst experience I have ever had with a store. I’m appalled at the lack of communication between Ashely's employees and their customers. I will not be buying from Ashley Furniture again.

Selection of contemporary furniture wasn’t great but did find a cool chair in the clearance area. The sales associate, manager and guy that helped me load the chair were top notch.
Our order was delivered on March 12th. While items were being set up, we noticed there were several smudges on the headboard, and the whitewash finish on the five drawer dresser was darker than the other pieces. We were told that the smudges were probably just dirt or glue, and that we should be able to was it off ourselves; and that we should call the store if we had an issue with the other pieces. The delivery guys were in a hurry to leave, and we signed for delivery. As we examined the pieces, we found the following: 1. Smudges on the headboard is not dirt nor glue, but a lack of proper whitewashing. 2. Five drawer dresser finish different than other pieces 3. Someone patched a crack on footboard leg with putty rather than replace the leg 4. Drawer openings on long dresser are sharp, snagging clothing. Appear to be splinters. 5. We have a Cal King bed with a motorized base. Although the frame fits the bed when flat, lifting the base catches the frame side rails, disengaging them from the headboard! We were assured at time of purchase that the frame would fit the bed. We called the salesperson at the store on March 13th and we were assured that customer service would take care of our issues. We called customer service and set up an appointment for March 19th. Technician took copious notes and took pictures as we showed him all of the things we were not satisfied with. He said he could not fix what he called cosmetic issues, blew off the putty fix on the footboard leg, and said the sharp edges inside of the drawers was paint and that it was the way it was supposed to be. He forwarded the report and said someone would be getting back to us. On March 19, I called customer service to find out why we had not been contacted. Was promised a call back, but none come. At this point, we just wanted to have the store pick up the whole set and get a full refund. When I was finally able to reach someone with this request, I was told that I had to call the store manager. I called the store on March 20th and 21st, asking to speak to the store manager. Was told that he was busy, but would return my call. That did not happen. I made multiple requests to be called back and was not. I went the store in person on March 22 and spoke to the manager in person. He was rude and curt. He said he had looked at all of our complaints filed by the technician were cosmetic and unfixable; that he would not override his findings. He said the cosmetic problems were what made it look ‘vintage’. When I asked to have the order returned for a refund, he said that once it was signed for we could not return it. I asked if there was someone at a corporate office that I could appeal to, he said “good luck” and that as store manager, he was the final authority. As I was leaving the store not satisfied with the process, he said very sarcastically, “have a nice day.” I cannot begin to express my anger and disgust I am at this whole experience. I feel like we have been stuck with expensive but poorly manufactured product, with no recourse but to keep and deal with it. While every customer experience is different, let me assure you that I will take every opportunity to share our experience with friends, neighbors, and any public forums where appropriate.

We had waited for over a year for just the right bedroom set for our daughter and, when we found it, he made sure that it was perfect for her. We purchase the couch and chair 2 weeks ago. It is the most uncomfortables couch and chair we have ever had. Online it says they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I call them and ask if we can return it and purchase something else. And The store sales manager tells me sorry I sign for it I have to keep it. I asked her about the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. And she says the stores don't have to honor it that's only for on line. I should have went to RC Willey that is who I've always dealt with I will never go back there again.
The furniture was worth the price, but the nearly 2 months it took for me to get all the items I purchased from the store and the run around all the staff gave me was NOT worth it.
Worse Experience with my order from here. They told me 5-7 days to receive my shipment. After a week they told me it’ll be shipped in to my home next week. This process repeated 3 times. It’s now a month later with no shipment. Ended up cancelling my order. Also very hard to schedule a time to speak with a supervisor. They pretty much said to just come in and if the supervisor is in then I could speak to him/her but the problem is I live 45 minutes away from this location and I can’t be driving there to speak with a supervisor that I don’t know if he/she will be in or not.
My husband and I purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley HomeStore in Orem, when they was running the 50% off sale. We found out 2 weeks after our purchase that we didn’t really receive 50% off. It was actually cheaper on the 30% off sale. When we went in and talked to customer service, they just gave us the 30% off. We will no longer give Ashley HomeStore our business. We believe in quality and honesty, which we feel they offer neither.
I change my mind three times in 36 hours (after I had paid each time) and they were very kind and helped me each time without making any side comments!
Terrible costumer service. I was told my order would be delivered. Over 3 weeks later of having placed my order, I received a call asking me to go pick up my order. After having gone to pick up my order, parts were missing. I had to go into the store twice and the manager didn’t even bother apologizing. Needless to say I will not be shopping at this locations ever again.
We are very unhappy with Ashley HomeStore. We bought a sofa there and when it was delivered, the couch we received was different than the floor model we tested. Different shade of brown, different firmness, different height, ect. We received no help at all from the store. They refused to return it or give store credit or even listen to us at all. The store manager Drew was very rude and would hardly even talk to us. We will not be purchasing anything from Ashley again.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE HORRIBLY RAN BUSINESS Worst mistake was walking into that store. Got a super pushy salesperson who did not know anything about any of the product. she didn't know what she was doing on the computer had to have help come 3 times, claimed she was going to get me a certain mattress for said price and got the wrong size mattress. Was constantly told how HOOKED UP i'm getting when i was really getting ripped off.. SO SO many lies, about prices, about how i wasn't going to get charged for things and did with the HOOK UPS. Made me go out rent a truck to move a 400 lb bed frame claiming they don't deliver.. their website does for free FFS. They refuse to call me back or make anything right, was told i would get called back dozens of times now and never do. Store manager refuses to talk to me or return a call.. pathetic. Had i known this is how this place runs things I would have gone to RC willey's like everyone else should before you even think buying from these lying coward thieves.
Lots of great furniture and ideas for design. Didn’t like that I have to have items I wanted shipped to me and couldn’t just take them home with me.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! You will get filled up with promises that are all lies and end up getting delivered the wrong thing. And what do they do about it, Ignore you, Will not call back, Store manager won't answer or ever call back to try and fix the issue. LYING COWARD THIEVES!!
Michael was extremely helpful! I went in there with a budget and he did all he could to help me keep that budget! Kim was also super helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend this place!
We purchased over $5000 worth of bedroom furniture and had an average experience on the sales floor. The sales floor is never that bad though. Where I always have a bad experience is getting my stuff delivered. I opted to pick it up at the warehouse. Should be easy right? Nope. The warehouse told us to call the store. The store told us to call the warehouse. When we called the store, the young lady on the phone must have been having a bad day because she was pretty rude. I just pointed out the fact that I was getting conflicting messages and she was incredibly unhelpful and kept letting out audible gasps of frustration when all I asked was "When is my furniture going to be available for pickup?" Once the sale is done, the smiles and friendly interaction is over.
This is the worst business and my shopping experience here was the worst I have ever had! Run away! Please! I ordered a furniture package in July 2018. It is now March 2019, and I never received everything that I picked out. They exchanged so many things later, that the set I have in my living room looks horrible. I felt scammed. They give me the runaround at customer service and they made drive hours back-and-forth with no resolution. I burst into tears in their store. Awful awful. Stay away!
As soon as we entered I felt very welcomed as if I was at a family members house. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to assist in any way. We were there for a couch so he directed us towards all of the couches available. Once we decided on a few he showed us features that we didn't even know about because they were hidden. Michael was our salesman and he didn't sale anything to us he just helped us decide which was right for us. I recommend that you ask for Michael or Kim they are amazing.
I won’t ever use Ashley again. We wish we would’ve gone to RC Willey. Our delivery date was 2.5 weeks out and then it got delayed another week. In trying to get a hold of customer support I spent 16 minutes on hold to be hung up on before I could say hello, 26 on hold with no answer and then 18 on hold to get a rude agent. I emailed three days ago and haven’t got a response. We were also told we could FOR SURE get a call 30 minutes before the delivery but didn’t get a call until they were at our house and they told us they could only wait 15 minutes (we weren’t off work because we only got approved off for the date the delivery was SUPPOSED to happen). Positive is that the delivery guys were nice. Over all it was one of the Worst experiences I’ve had when spending that much money.
Went in to set up a warranty claim and the person that helped me said someone would contact me within 24 hours to set up a time to come look at the product and decide if it needs repair or replacing. It’s been over 72 hours and I still haven’t gotten a call.
I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. I ordered my furniture 11/11/18 with an expected pickup date for December 4th. After many phone calls, time, energy and some tears, I was all set to pick up my furniture today February 27th 2019 and my order was cancelled. Long story short, they already sold my furniture and now I would have to wait until April 21st for all of it. I learned a lesson, when doors are trying to close, let them slam shut instead of holding them open with your foot. Speaking of foot, I'll never step another one into an Ashley Homestore ever again.
I would give no stars if it was a option. Spent 4K on a power sofa and love seat and 2 two power recliners. The recliner on the show room floor didn't have power but I was told by the salesman that it was a against the wall type. Fast forward two weeks when I picked them up and brought it all home to find out that the recliners were normal and not against the wall type which won't work in the room. Long story short I was told that I had takes delivery so it was my problem and could not return them. The salesman even told the manager he had miss represented the recliners. Drew the manager told me sorry again, that I had taken delivery so his hands were tied and I couldn't return them. So here I have 1500 dollars in junk recliners I can't use, but was told by another sales person just sell them on KSL really what a joke. I will shop DI before I ever step foot in another Ashley Home store.
We visited Ashley Home store during their MLK weekend sale. We were pleased to find that their prices were very competitive with RC Willey. We ended up buying a sectional and supplementing two side tables and coffee table to go 4 Hour family room. The one thing that I was very disappointed in was there delivery process. We were able to take the table ends out directly from the store but it took an extra almost a month for our sectionals to be delivered they kept delaying it and it was disappointing.

I have bought two couches from Ashley Furniture but I will never shop there again. Both times when the couch was delivered they were damaged in some way. The first time the arm rest was totally misshapened. It had lumps in it. The second time the seat of the sectional was not straight. The foam was totally misshapen causing a large gap between two pieces of the sectional. Both times I was told by the delivery person that I had to sign for it. Both times I told them that I didn’t want to sign for it but I was told that I had to sign for it because they couldn’t take it back. Then they would have some repair it. The second time, about three years later, I told them I didn’t want it repaired I wanted it replaced and they said that they couldn’t take it back and they needed a signature to authorize the repair and they would have someone call me to set up a repair in 5 minutes. They told me that was my only option. When they called and I talked to them about what happened they blamed me and told me that I shouldn’t have signed but also that they don’t accept returns. I understand not accepting returns on big items like furniture but it’s not a return if it’s damaged and you point that out immediately. It’s not because I decided I didn’t like the color. What terrible customer service, the delivery people basically force you to sign and say you have no option but to get it repaired. Plus they are booked out 1 month for repairs! How frustrating! Your warehouse needs to do a better job of not putting damaged goods on your truck and then forcing your customers to accept them because your delivery people won’t take them back! I will never purchase something from Ashley furniture again. The only reason we made the second purchase was because we were replacing a piece of a sectional that was damaged in a flood. We bought it from the home’s previous owner who bought it from Ashley and luckily we were able to find the replacement piece. It’s absolutely terrible that the two times I have purchased something from this company I have had the exact same experience. Terrible track record. It’s really unfortunate because I really like their furniture.

We bought couches here two years ago and had a great experience! So decided to come back for another piece. Picked it, all ready to fill out paperwork and had a coupon that wasn&'t excluded on our item. Then all of the sudden they told us it wouldn&'t work. Not to mention we were working with the manager--totally could accepted it. Walked away. Won&'t be back
Won’t let me review again so I’ll just alter this previous one. I needed a new living room set before Xmas because I have family coming and don’t have enough places to sit. So I went to Ashley furniture store yesterday Friday, December 3 to just go browse. Once we got there we were met by Kayde who just like previous experience stayed close enough to answer questions but did not hover. I told him what my budget was and what I had in mind and also told him that I needed to have one before Christmas he explained to me upfront that a lot of the stock is backordered like everything else in this world right now because of supply issues. He help me find a couch that I wanted that was within my budget and that I would be able to receive before Christmas here it is Saturday, December 4 the next day and I now have my new couches in my home already. Like I said in my previous post Ashley furniture store has definitely earned my business and I’m glad that I could have another good experience with them. My wife and I went into Ashley Furniture because we wanted a new kitchen table. They were open on sundays so we decided to go. As soon as we entered we were met by the sales manager Ryan. He was very friendly and inviting. My wife and I said we were browsing and if we needed anything we would let them know. Our salesman Mike, stayed close enough to answer questions but didn’t hover and make us feel pressured about anything. We ended up asking a lot of questions and getting all the right answers. We ended up going for a table and left with a new bed and mattress for my wife and I, 3 kids bedroom sets, and the table plus some extra since we got the dining set in the store. While Mike was helping my wife with the kid bedroom sets, Kim helped me with the financing, she was able to answer all my questions and get us set up and ready to go very quickly and was awesome to talk to as well. Once that was done not only was the checkout process pretty quick and easy but Ryan was able to get us a delivery date less than 2 weeks with everything being delivered the same day. Not too bad considering how much we got. The team at the Orem store is amazing and made something as stressful as buying all that furniture quick, easy, and fun. Thank you for your assistance and you have an Ashley Furnature customers for years to come.
I was in a rush to get a new couch, and didn’t like my experience with RC Willey so I tried out Ashley. Absolutely blown away by their service. Can’t remeber the sales guys first name but his last name was Barrett. I was at the Orem store and his knowledge, swiftness, and effectiveness was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. If you’re in the market for furniture, go see these guys before you make a decision. You won’t be sorry
The sales lady was really nice and not pushy at all. The only downside was the cost of delivery.
This place was amazing, such great customer service and awesome deals.
The employees are kind, courteous and willing to help your needs. We walked in and met this great guy named Brett. He was really nice and treated us like we had been friends for years. Really helpful in getting us our couches and to top it all off. The manager hooked us up with 5 years of insurance protection for free. I am super impressed at how above and beyond they go and will make sure that I return for all my furniture needs.
Good people working at the store in Orem - really helpful manager but the delivery is joke! And the corporate store you have to talk to have no sense of customer service. You can have a good experience buying but getting your actual purchase is another story! If I could give 0 stars and warn people not to buy from this store I would

I was greeted immediately when I entered the store. Salesman answered all of my questions and then some. He helped me get a better deal that I could have sopping on my own. They weren’t too pushy either.
Don't waste your time. We spent 4hrs in the store to purchase chairs - the sales people had no idea where anything in the store was. We bought what we thought was 4 chairs (during their BOGO sale). Well 4 weeks later the delivery comes - and it's only 2 chairs - I call our sales rep and nothing. The delivery guy said maybe the rest was coming on a separate load and to just sign for them and figure it out later. Well guess what? After you sign for it there are no returns or exchanges - so I find out the next day that there was miscommunication and we only bought the two and there's nothing they'll do to fix it! So after 4 hours hunting through their store, 4 weeks waiting on delivery - we are screwed because our sales rep didn't pick-up or call back and the delivery guy told us to sign. SO not happy. We will stick to RC Willey from now on.

Ashley confirmed delivery date twice so we had all our old furniture donated to DI. We also planned 4 parties for that weekend starting on Friday. On the delivery day they called and informed us they didn’t have everything and were expecting the last 2 pieces on Friday. I told them to please bring what they had that day and they could bring the rest Friday. They never showed up. Friday came and two guys came to deliver the furniture. It became blatantly obvious that neither of them had ever worked with furniture moving before. They tried to bring in the first couch vertically and completely destroyed the carved wood and smashed our Ring doorbell in the process. My husband, who has serious back damage had to show them how to bring a couch through a door. They were able to bring in the loveseat without a problem. Then they started to shove the next couch through the door. My husband told them to wait while he opened the double doors in the back. Just after my husband went to do that, there was a huge crash on the kitchen counter. They had shoved the couch through the door and hallway and crashed into my countertop that was covered in brand new Christmas dishes, my antique vase and a just completed nativity made out of chocolate, breaking every one of them. The cost to replace them was $329.34 and now I had no dishes for the party that was going to start in 3 hours. They brought the rest in except for a missing ottoman, which I was assured it would be delivered before Christmas. Still waiting for that ottoman—but I probably misunderstood they probably meant Christmas of 2019. Finally had an electrician repair the doorbell. This was the worst experience with a delivery I have ever whitnessed—paying for the replacement and repair costs knowing we would never see a reimbursement was the icing on the cake. Sue Russell

SHOP ONLINE AND THEN GO TO THE STORE! They will match prices! Also MAKE SURE YOU SCREENSHOT WHAT YOU WANT WITH THE PRICE ONLINE! Because the prices change and go up and sometimes they will honor the screenshot (like Sherri did with us) Sharri is the one that helped us out and she was so awesome!! I had found some couches online for cheap prices but the first sales guy totally ignored any online piece of furniture I was telling him about (no doubt to get more commission). But then Sherri came up to us and I showed her the couch I saw online and she was like oh yeah! We totally match prices online and i think there is one more of that one left! It was just funny because it was a sectional online and only a chaise in the store... And the price was almost the same for both... 600 n somthin$ for the chaise (just 1/3 of the sectional) and 749$ for the whole sectional online! THANKS SO MUCH SHERRI!!!!! We are one happy college couple that was able to afford a wonderful couch at Ashley's furniture!😃😃

Misleading on shipping. Was told on Dec. 15 furniture was in stock and would be delivered in on Jan 3., On Dec. 31 got a call saying it would be delayed another week because the furniture was not in stock. I am very dissatisfied. First time customer, last time customer.
