I found Ashley Home Furnishings to be a misleading business. I made one purchase and was going to do a second one, but the sales tactics used were irritating. I left and went somewhere else.

I had a disappointing experience. They didn’t apply the discount they were offering until I specifically asked for it. On top of that, the lady who assisted us didn’t provide the correct address. She didn’t write it down or give any clear details—she just mentioned it verbally, which caused confusion about where to pick up the order.

I planned Ashley in Salt Lake City to be my first of several stores to try, but I was pleasantly surprised to find what I wanted and then some right here! Sarah was amazing! She had excellent knowledge of furniture and was very familiar with the many pieces in the store so she was able to find what I wanted. She spent a lot of time with me to be sure the items I needed were just right and she seemed to never tire while showing me all the options ( I suspect it went right over her lunch time). She was conscious of my budget concerns and physical needs so everything would be perfect. Cynda was also very helpful. They were both very knowledgeable about the products, pricing, finance options, warranties, and specifics. I’m so glad this was my first and last stop!

I bought a bed set that was over $3000.00 close to a year ago. The inside of the bed rail that holds the slates on the bed broke. I took the mattress off the bed to figure out why it had broken. For the amount of money I paid I would have thought it would be alot sturdier. I found that when the men from Ashley furniture came to put the bed together they did not even bother to make sure the side peices of the bed where at the same level. There is a 2 inch difference. I also found they didn't not even bother to drill the screws in all the way. I have reached out to Ashley furniture to see if they could fix it but all I was told is no because it's not coverd under warranty even though it was their mistake. Im surprised the bed lasted this long with the way the bed was put together. I should have gone to Ikea like I had before and that bed lasted me a whole lot longer for a cheaper price than this crap. I would post pictures, but this won't let me.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! If you want to live a nightmare, then buy here. First of all, I want to point out that I was helped in store by Rosi, and she was absolutely lovely, patient, and great to work with. She deserves 5 stars. However, Ashley's terrible logistics and customer service outshine her good work. I made a big purchase including mattresses and bedroom furniture. I got to pick my delivery date. On the delivery date, the team showed 2.5 hours late, outside the delivery window they provided. My evening plans for that day were ruined as the team showed up so late and already tired. They started installing my furniture, when they realized that Ashley had packed two of the same bed legs and couldn't complete the installation as they needed the specific part. They started a case, and told me I would be contacted by customer service to replace my part and send a new team to complete the installation. I was never contacted by customer service, and I kept having to call and call a service center through different agents, and everytime I got a different answer. From "getting your missing part ordered" to "promising an expedited shipping of the part." In between this mess, I decided to call and return my order (by this time I had been sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks post-delivery date). When I told them I wanted to return everything, I was transferred to a manager, who sent a replacement of the whole bed, so they could complete the installation. I waited 3 more days and they sent a whole new package. However, I received a headboard with chips, discoloration, and cracks. I called them AGAIN to report the issues. They sent a technician who came two days later and super early in the morning to work on it, and he did an okay job, he tried to paint over the discoloration, and filled in some of the cracks, still some chips were left. I'm still unhappy with my headboard. I'm exhausted with the constant calls and communications with this company. I called the store one more time after noticing that they charged an extra amount on my account that I did not sign up for, they claimed that was a promotional fee of a 2% they add on every purchase, that they can't remove. So, be aware that the total amount will end up being more than what you sign up for. I told the agent who helped me my frustrations, and how I wasn't happy with my headboard, he said to watch my email with a resolution about it. An email I have never received. A whole month living with this nightmare: Ashley Furniture and their logistics! My recommendation, please go somewhere else!
