Honestly none of the furniture is in style and gives old traditional vibes. Which is fine, but I’m in my twenties and don’t want millennial gray. They only had a few couches or items that weren’t that vibe. Also felt like the worker was keeping distance but still following us around the store and would listen in so he could jump in and answer stuff. Which I sort of understand but I don’t want to feel like you’re listening to everything I say

Rick was so helpful. I gave him my sofa list and he checked on the computer to verify they were in the store. I found what I wanted and the buying process was so easy and efficient. He definitely knows his furniture. No pressure with time to look. Good prices. The delivery was perfect-the drivers and company kept you up to date even including their arrival. They were very careful carrying the sofa into the house. And yes I left a great review. I will buy from Ashley Furniture again when the need arrives. Phyllis

Our first time at Ashley Furniture was a great experience, and that was largely because of the help we received. Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by Mr. Rick Hancey. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, giving us space to browse while still being available to answer any questions we had. His expertise made us feel comfortable and confident in our decisions. Although we initially came in just to browse and possibly purchase a sofa, we ended up buying a beautiful mahogany kitchen table along with a gorgeous green three-piece couch set to match. We were very grateful for Mr. Rick’s patience and professionalism throughout the process. Our experience was so positive that the next time we come in for a mattress, we will definitely be asking for Mr. Rick.

Rosa was great! She greeted us on our first visit to Ashley’s. She showed us what I wanted to see and gave me her regular working days to come back when we had made our decision. We came back and made our purchase. The young men who did the delivery were gracious and very kind. I look forward to my two dressers coming on Dec 13th. I for one will be back there to shop.

So disappointed, we went to find a small kitchen table and chairs as we have downsized. The quality on the tables has become very shotty as a matter of fact, most of the stuff is not even real wood if that was not bad enough, the prices were outrageous, especially for the quality of the products.

The delivery was perfect. They worked fast, efficient and clean. Everything was set up perfectly and looks beautiful in my room.

It was a good experience, we knew what we wanted, from a picture online of Ashley website, it took about an hour and we were done with business.

This has been the worst furniture-buying experience of my life — and it’s STILL not resolved. We went in last Saturday to buy a couch. Our sales rep was distracted, unfocused, and barely listened to us. Somehow she still managed to place the wrong order, even though we clearly told her exactly what we wanted. We waited a full week and went to pick it up this Saturday. We were first in line at the warehouse and still waited over an hour. We hauled the couch all the way up to the top floor of our apartment… and it’s the wrong couch. Wrong layout, completely useless for our space. And then the real nightmare began. We have been dealing with this since Saturday morning, and we STILL don’t have a single answer. We’ve talked to 10+ different people, each giving a completely different story. Some say we can return it, some say we can’t, some say a delivery is scheduled, others say it’s not. It honestly feels like nobody working there knows what’s going on. We were told we cannot return the wrong couch until a “ticket” gets updated — something THEY messed up — and that could take up to three days. So now we have a giant couch sitting in the middle of our living room that we can’t use, can’t return, and can’t get out of our house because they can’t do their jobs. Customer service stopped answering. People we did reach were clueless. We went into the store in person — they had zero information and said no one had sent them anything. They “escalated it” and told us we would have the correct couch by Tuesday. It’s Tuesday. No couch. No update. No timeline. No responsibility from anyone. We finally reached our sales rep again and she basically told us she couldn’t do anything and the people who could help were “out of office.” At this point, it really feels like she’s avoiding fixing her own mistake. It is now DAYS later, and we STILL have no idea when this wrong couch is getting out of our house or when the right one is coming. No communication. No solutions. Nothing. This company is unbelievably unorganized, unprofessional, and incapable of handling their own mistakes. Save yourself the stress and shop literally anywhere else.

Kaleb was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient & thorough as he helped us find the furniture that would work for & fit in our space, over two separate showroom visits.

We just walked around for over 5 minutes and not one sales rep approached us... They were busy talking to each other and not paying any attention to the customers. We ran into multiple other customers who had the same experience while we were there. Not sure how you stay in business when you pay no attention to the people who are buying your products!?

Terrible customer service. The salesperson was super friendly, but the customer service representatives were awful. I've been trying to return a sectional sofa since the day it was delivered, and they won't authorize the return. This is the first time I've ever had to talk to so many people and still not get anywhere.

Workers won’t just let you look around to find something you like. Came in to see a couch I wanted that was online so I could sit on it and decide or look for another and the sales rep was two feet away from me at all times breathing down my neck pestering me about why I didn’t want to buy in the store or why I didn’t need her help after finding the one thing I came there to do. Felt like I had to run out of the store.

Curtis is awesome!! Curtis was ready to greet us as we walked in, and proceeded to help us walk through the maze of furniture - happily - for almost 2 hours. He gave us recommendations based off what we have, colors we had in mind, even down to the stitches and fibers in the material in the couch. He knew it all! After much discussion, my wife and I settled on a sofa and loveseat. Curtis walked us through our payment options, warranty, delivery, and he was able to answer all my questions about how the warranty works, how we could use it, and that we’d get our money back if we never utilized it. Thank you again Curtis, we’ll find you once we finally decide on some nightstands!

I found exactly what I was looking for… there were so many options in color and style. My salesperson, Pip, was very knowledgeable about the different pieces of furniture. He gave me ample time to browse but also checked in to answer questions… he made the whole selection and purchase process a breeze!

Customer service was good. I love my new bed. Delivery was smooth. Sales was great and low pressure. Just know if you want to hold on to the bed warranty they'll force you to buy a mattress cover and it's not a good one for over $100. I would have given five stars If this were not the case. I have a better bed cover at home I would have used but it had to be on the ticket. Felt like a last minute money grab.

The sales lady who helped me, didn’t really Help me. She was super pushy wasn’t really Listening to what I was needing. I even had to take things off of my order because she wasn’t listening to what I was wanting. She told me she was going to add a discount and when I asked her about the discount before signing papers she’s like “ well I think so” but she didn’t add no discount. I was so unhappy about my experience. I still have to Get my kids some beds and mattresses. I’ll Just be doing that online.

We stopped at the Cheyenne store in August to look at couches, we found one we liked and were told that they delivered to our area in Green River, WY. Upon returning home I tried several times to purchase the Larce sectional online, each time I would get to the checkout the status would change to out of stock, I tried changing the store to Salt Lake, same thing. After a month of phone calls and online chats with associates I gave up and drove the 2.5 hours to SLC to purchase the couch and schedule a pickup date ( that I was told would be a few weeks out). Once at the store I was told they had it in their warehouse a few miles away. I made the purchase with the intention of renting an enclosed trailer and coming back down on Saturday to pick up. Saturday we arrive at the warehouse, we are the only one’s there picking up, I notified the warehouse 30 minutes before arrival (as per the stores direction ). Our items are waiting , they are boxed and plastic wrapped, the warehouse guys do not open the packages to verify what is in there, just load them in the trailer. We drive 2.5 hours home in a downpour only to get home and find one piece of our sectional is brown and the rest of our sectional is gray ( the color I ordered). I call the store immediately and they tell me there is nothing they can do , that I can bring the piece back and swap it out for the correct color. They put the store manager on the phone at this point, who informs me there is nothing she can do and that it has to go through a claim to their corporate office to see what the corporate office wants to do. DO NOT BUY from them, I am very unsure at this point if they are going to rectify this or if I’m stuck with a mismatched sectional, or out more money to drive back down there .

We had an awesome experience at Ashley thanks to Pip! We had no idea where to start and he helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and the best deal for it! He was super friendly and made us feel right at home. We had a lot of fun in the process.

Purchased a sectional along with a bed/mattress on August 5th. It's now September 25th. I still only have the chase lounge portion and have given up on receiving the remaining recliner - I get weekly calls from India pushing the delivery out and have had enough. It is absolutely criminal and unconscionable that Ashley would sell something they don't actually possess to do so and your staff should be hauled off in handcuffs for it. Rather than let Ashley abscond with the money and have me wait in perpetuity I will have American Express charge the entirety of the $3k purchase back - so thanks for the free devilvery of a free mattress, bed frame, and half a sectional. Never again.

Ashley Furniture has the worst customer service I've ever experienced across any industry. I went to them knowing what I wanted. The salesperson and manager upsold me on everything I planned to purchase, promising it would give me the best pain relief, and they knew I was desperate. I woke in severe pain after a few hours of sleeping on the 15" mattress and king-size zero-gravity frame they recommended. (There was no weight on the other side to counterbalance my weight.) It took me disputing the charge and three months to finally get the Nectar 12" mattress and XL twin zero-gravity bases I went in for. The new mattresses are $1,000 cheaper, and Ashley's refuses to refund that amount to my credit card used to purchase the items. Charles Q - Customer Experience Specialist says, "Your new order exceeded the credit amount approved. You used the addition credit for the returned mattress, which was to be refunded to you for your new order." If anyone can explain that, I would appreciate it. Meanwhile, I filed with small claims court for the amount not refunded and added some for pain and suffering. They were immediately willing to give me the amount not refunded, but I am considering my options given how poorly they treated me. Now that I have the bed I initially wanted to purchase, my pain has decreased considerably, and I am sleeping much better. It is inexcusable that they made me suffer for three months. Side note: The salesperson said there is no fee for using the 0% interest for five years through Synchrony Bank. There is a $75 fee, and Synchrony won't have your back if you have a problem. They decided to close the dispute while we were still negotiating.

I had such a great experience at Ashley Furniture Store! Tony was incredibly helpful from start to finish in ordering my new couch and TV stand. He took the time to answer all my questions, and made sure I understood all the options. Thanks to him, everything went so smoothly. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase or the service. What I wanted was out of stock, but they got me the next closest thing and told the warehouse I was on my way so that they didn't close for the day before I picked up my purchase.

My sales guy was great! Very friendly and accommodating. I was irritated that the furniture I chose twice wasn’t in stock spent 3 hours choosing something else only because promised the furniture would be in my home in two days only to find out I was rescheduled for a week out. With no explanation, I had to rent a U-Haul to pick up my living room sofa and recliner , two mattresses, kitchen table. Although I was re emburst for the U-Haul and delivery fee. I feel I will share this experience with others and if I ever need furniture in the future I definitely will seek elsewhere.

The salesman Rich was very knowledgeable about each piece of furniture I was looking to buy. He was also very kind and attentive. I went back into the store the next day because I had decided to purchase a couple more items, Rich wasnt working and Tony helped me. He was also very helpful and kind.

The saleswoman who helped us was knowledgeable and easy to work with. That's where it ends. The telephone numbers to call and arrange pickup did not work. We had to wait until the store opened to talk to anyone. After a couple of calls we were told that the loveseat was out of stock and would not be available for another week. No advanced warning. Now my tenant is without a place to sit. I would not have removed the old one or rented a truck that I can't get my money back on if Ihad known. I've had poor results with them before. AVOID IF YOU CAN

Pip was a amazing and professional salesman. Our first trip to your store we had a over aggressive salesman and we did not enjoy our experience. Upon returning we got Pip and had a perfect experience and will be returning.

I needed to furnish my small living room and I was told by my brother to try this store and I’m glad I did. As I entered, Pip walked over, greeted me and introduced himself. He was professional, attentive and helpful. He asked me what I was looking for and directed me right away to an area where I was able to find the furnitures I ended up buying. I also met Cynda who is the manager there and she’s super friendly and nice. Great customer service coupled with having exactly what you’re looking for makes furniture shopping a pleasant and a less stressful experience. I plan on buying more items from this store.

I have browsed Ashley Furniture several times and have never purchased anything from there until this visit. The sales rep was very respectful and gave me the space to browse. I had questions so he asked his manager Sameer (not sure of the spelling), to come and assist him. She really took the time to listen to what I was looking for (including as cat friendly as possible).The material that the couch and love seat are made out of is perfect! Besides all the bells and whistles they have. It was more money than I wanted to pay but I feel like she gave me the best deal she could and the couch and love seat checked off all my boxes!

I found Ashley Home Furnishings to be a misleading business. I made one purchase and was going to do a second one, but the sales tactics used were irritating. I left and went somewhere else.

I had a disappointing experience. They didn’t apply the discount they were offering until I specifically asked for it. On top of that, the lady who assisted us didn’t provide the correct address. She didn’t write it down or give any clear details—she just mentioned it verbally, which caused confusion about where to pick up the order.

I planned Ashley in Salt Lake City to be my first of several stores to try, but I was pleasantly surprised to find what I wanted and then some right here! Sarah was amazing! She had excellent knowledge of furniture and was very familiar with the many pieces in the store so she was able to find what I wanted. She spent a lot of time with me to be sure the items I needed were just right and she seemed to never tire while showing me all the options ( I suspect it went right over her lunch time). She was conscious of my budget concerns and physical needs so everything would be perfect. Cynda was also very helpful. They were both very knowledgeable about the products, pricing, finance options, warranties, and specifics. I’m so glad this was my first and last stop!

I bought a bed set that was over $3000.00 close to a year ago. The inside of the bed rail that holds the slates on the bed broke. I took the mattress off the bed to figure out why it had broken. For the amount of money I paid I would have thought it would be alot sturdier. I found that when the men from Ashley furniture came to put the bed together they did not even bother to make sure the side peices of the bed where at the same level. There is a 2 inch difference. I also found they didn't not even bother to drill the screws in all the way. I have reached out to Ashley furniture to see if they could fix it but all I was told is no because it's not coverd under warranty even though it was their mistake. Im surprised the bed lasted this long with the way the bed was put together. I should have gone to Ikea like I had before and that bed lasted me a whole lot longer for a cheaper price than this crap. I would post pictures, but this won't let me.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! If you want to live a nightmare, then buy here. First of all, I want to point out that I was helped in store by Rosi, and she was absolutely lovely, patient, and great to work with. She deserves 5 stars. However, Ashley's terrible logistics and customer service outshine her good work. I made a big purchase including mattresses and bedroom furniture. I got to pick my delivery date. On the delivery date, the team showed 2.5 hours late, outside the delivery window they provided. My evening plans for that day were ruined as the team showed up so late and already tired. They started installing my furniture, when they realized that Ashley had packed two of the same bed legs and couldn't complete the installation as they needed the specific part. They started a case, and told me I would be contacted by customer service to replace my part and send a new team to complete the installation. I was never contacted by customer service, and I kept having to call and call a service center through different agents, and everytime I got a different answer. From "getting your missing part ordered" to "promising an expedited shipping of the part." In between this mess, I decided to call and return my order (by this time I had been sleeping on the floor for 2 weeks post-delivery date). When I told them I wanted to return everything, I was transferred to a manager, who sent a replacement of the whole bed, so they could complete the installation. I waited 3 more days and they sent a whole new package. However, I received a headboard with chips, discoloration, and cracks. I called them AGAIN to report the issues. They sent a technician who came two days later and super early in the morning to work on it, and he did an okay job, he tried to paint over the discoloration, and filled in some of the cracks, still some chips were left. I'm still unhappy with my headboard. I'm exhausted with the constant calls and communications with this company. I called the store one more time after noticing that they charged an extra amount on my account that I did not sign up for, they claimed that was a promotional fee of a 2% they add on every purchase, that they can't remove. So, be aware that the total amount will end up being more than what you sign up for. I told the agent who helped me my frustrations, and how I wasn't happy with my headboard, he said to watch my email with a resolution about it. An email I have never received. A whole month living with this nightmare: Ashley Furniture and their logistics! My recommendation, please go somewhere else!

We had a great experience at Ashley Furniture. We were met in the store and he asked what we were looking for and we were on the hunt! He showed us so many different options of couches, recliners and love seat. We sat on about 40 different sets and found our set!

I originally had a 5 star review from 6 years ago praising Spencer and his customer service. Unfortunately, that quality is clearly gone. From being under staffed and being treated poorly in the sense of making us feel like “Are you going to actually buy? Here’s the price.”. Once I decide on sectional I like, Kim (the store manager of all people), said the sectional will be delivered on a set date. I took the day off work, waiting for the supposed phone call from the delivery crew. I called the store to confirm delivery, and “glitch” in the system didn’t schedule it. I don’t believe it, it’s more like someone forgot to their part and push my order to be delivered. Now I’m out time and money for taking the day off on waiting for the this ghost delivery.

Tony was a super friendly person. He connects with you right away and discerns your needs. He doesn't pressure, makes you feel good about your decision. Highly recommend this Ashley store.

Do not spend your money here, what arrives won't be what you ordered, when what's ordered arrives it will be damaged and then a few months later you get a neat little surprise you're being charged for all of it even though they promise it was taking off. Everyone there is dumb as a post and completely unable/unwilling to help you. Any help line tells you to go to a store in person any person tells you to call the help line. All of this for 2 terrible chairs we never ever received. I would rather sit on a bunch of pizza boxes and not deal with this headache and hassle.

This was actually our second time visiting the Salt Lake City Branch. We were assisted by the same lady named Mary during both visits. When we returned, we told her we were back because we still hadn’t purchased a sofa yet. We asked her if they had any new displays or new arrivals, and she mentioned that they had a new sofa in stock. That’s why we decided to come in again. While we were looking around and waiting, I mentioned to her that I tend to be very particular when it comes to choosing a sofa or "picky". Out of nowhere, she responded, “Picky? You’re not picky. You just don’t want to buy.” I found that extremely rude and uncalled for. I honestly don’t understand why she said that. My husband and I just looked at each other, surprised and uncomfortable. That comment completely turned us off, and we decided to leave. Her attitude was disrespectful and unprofessional. I can't help but wonder if we were judged based on our appearance. We were dressed casually—nothing fancy—but still decent. As customers, we have every right to take our time and choose the right sofa, especially since she told us there were new items available. Her behavior made us feel unwelcome, and that’s not how customers should be treated. Very Disappointed!!!

Writing this 5 years later as I found out we were lied to, they told us specifically their sales rep Ryan P that if we pay for the 5 year protection plan and we don't use it. Then at the end of the 5 years they will refund its the only reason we got it. Well after contacting ashley multiple times they keep opening cases and then never contacting us back. GBS the servicer of the protection plan says they can't do anything to refund unless ashley sends the information to them. Anyway be careful what they tell you.. as it seems they are prone to lie. I think they just tell this stuff in the hopes you forget about it...

While the showroom is not first class at the present time because of ongoing improvements, Sarah the sales person who helped me, was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. I found a dining room table that I have been looking for in four other stores so I was very glad I went there.

I had a wonderful experience at Ashley home furniture in Salt Lake on 4/16. I went to look at a sofa bed and a dining table that I saw online. Justin was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I have disabilities and he was very aware of my need to move slowly and sit as needed. He also gave me a great deal. So I ended up buying both pieces. The store manager was also enjoyable to work with. The only drawback was the construction going on. Hopefully that will be finished soon. I am very pleased overall and highly recommend you give them a try!

Our sales reps Justin Spend love spent quite a bit of time with us trying to get it right. We looks at several dozen pieces and he halped navigate the process with ease. He is a super cool guy and deserves a raise. We got smokin deals on some cleance items and we're able to upgrade other items we didn't even come in for with his help. This was my second bad experience with Ashley Furniture—and it’ll definitely be my last. I purchased a table after being reassured by the sales rep, Rick, that it was the right color. When I picked it up at the warehouse, it turned out to be the wrong one. Yes, I should have double-checked, but the real issue was the complete lack of customer service. The warehouse staff barely lifted a finger to help, and they refused to take the table back because I had signed their awful return policy. We eventually scheduled an exchange, but when I showed up, the table wasn’t even ready—despite being told it would be. This whole process has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I didn’t write a review after the first bad experience, but I won’t stay quiet this time. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again and will be warning others to avoid them too.

I went to Ashley for the first time and i knew i would find a new couch. It is so comfortable and a new style. Pip helped me. The staff was friendly and helpful. I knew Ashley was the place from the moment I walked in. I am glad to do business

While all the furniture isn't exactly my style, I did find the associate who assisted me to be absolutely top notch! Not everyone seemed as engaged in doing their job, but the individual that I had was absolutely focused and worked very hard to help me find exactly what I needed and wanted and was able to provide me an estimate and a cost if I decided I was going to pick it up and even had the option of holding it for a few days. This is service. I had not been in Ashley in a very long time and in this instance even though this store is being renovated and it looks a little bit rough from the outside, it's a true pleasure to go inside and take a look at everything that they have.

What a Messi store is this , we brought 3 beds & sofa recliners , they make schedules delivery for beds & sofas for different days . the beds they delivered on time but for the sofas they are laying as , they don't have the sofa on the wear house final day they reschedule for next day delivery. They can't keep their promises don't trust those people poor customer service & they don't have a return policy. Once when you buy a stuff you done . Don't go all over Ashely stores please please .

Rosi was amazing! I had 25 minutes to find a dining room set, a bedroom set, and barstools. In the first five minutes of meeting her, I told her everything I needed and she took me to exactly what I needed was extremely helpful and got me out of there just in the nick of time. What an awesome sales person.

Delivery drivers were very accommodating by taking my old mattresses even though he said he wasn't supposed to. The sales lady and manager both said it was part of the package.

We didn’t end up buying anything but wanted to say Tony was amazing!! By far the best sales associate ever! We went shopping at a couple of other stores before Ashley’s and they didn’t even care just pointed us in the direction we needed to be in and waited to see if we would buy anything. But Tony at Ashley’s gave us a great time with explaining everything and also giving us space to look around. Not to mention when we said what we liked he pointed out a few options for us and kept looking. When we are ready to purchase we will go back to Tony!!!

Today my husband and I went to buy a couch. Rosie helped us and she deserves 5 stars for her service! She is a wonderful and professional saleswoman and I would go to her again. However, a situation came up with two other male associates there who treated Rosie terribly in front of us. One of the men actually closed his fingers at her as if to say "shut it". The two men verbally harassed her in front of us, calling her a game player, and actually yelling at her. I usually don't like to post negative things, but I am bewildered that it is 2025 and we apparently still have men who treat women, dare I say Latina women, as if they are beneath deserving basic respect and dignity. These two men, and the manager who would not help Rosie with a problem with a discount, should be replaced with more people like Rosie. HR will be hearing from me tomorrow.

Didn’t purchase anything because both times I went into the store, a worker would follow me around. And not in like a helpful way, but like a creepy, stand 10 feet behind me, watching me kind of way. Made me feel really uncomfortable and anxious so I just left both times. I am not the kind of shopper that likes being followed. If I need help or have questions, I’ll find someone to ask.

We had a very enjoyable experience shopping at Ashley. Our sales representative Justin Spendlove was Awesome! He greeted us at the door, asked questions about what we were looking for. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to show us lots of options to help us choose the perfect bedroom furniture.

Justin was a great salesman - no pressure just all the facts. Even though the store is undergoing some remodeling, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Looking forward to getting our sofa!

0 stars. I will never shop at Ashley again. I purchased a new bed online, after finding one I liked at a store. The bed was delivered. It must have been a floor model, head board has a stain, and hardware to attach slats and rails is missing. I can't assemble. I am told it will take up to 72hours for a resolution. This is utterly unacceptable. I have no bed in the meantime.

I purchased a sectional from Ashley’s SLC location last week, and it has been a nightmare ever since. I paid $300 for delivery and setup, but what I got was a joke. Two men showed up—one wouldn’t stop complaining about being cold, made a half-hearted attempt to bring the sectional inside, and then declared it “impossible.” They dumped the pieces in my garage, took their proof-of-delivery photo, and left. Since then, everyone—salespeople, warehouse staff—has been completely unhelpful. Looking through other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. If you’re charging $300 for delivery and setup, you should actually deliver and set up. Feels like a total scam. I will never buy from Ashley again.

Rosi at the Ashley Salt Lake store was amazing. She listened to what we wanted, asked good questions was knowledgeable about the products and not pushy. She was very patient keeping our son engaged while we were testing different products. We left with a sectional that is so comfortable and we love. Thank you Rosi and Ashley.

i would never get anything from this place again. I was supposed to pick up my furniture and their associates were going to load it in the truck for me. But one employee decided to just throw the furniture on the cement and blame me not helping for his tantrum. I was standing next to him and he didn't even ask for me to help (even though they were supposed to do it). After a huge argument about that and the furniture no longer being acceptable, they offered to deliver another to my home. Their app first says it'll arrive by 5, then a window of 1:45 and 4:45, then the app updates in real time and I went from 5 deliveries away to 6 and at 3:15, the app is saying it'll arrive between 1 and 2pm. huh? The whole thing is a mess, bad communication, unprofessional employees who think it's ok to throw thousand dollar merchandise on the cement..i'm done with this place.

Richard, one of their sales representatives, was so personable and knowledgeable, was very easy to work with to find exactly what I was looking for. We just purchased and had delivered three power theater room recliners from the Ashley store in Salt Lake City. This was our first experience with Ashley. Marie LaFleur our sales associate, and Kim the store manager were knowledgeable, kind, and patient. The store had many recliners to select from. We were able to find the chairs that fit our family perfectly. We are very pleased with the entire experience from selection through delivery.

The salesman didnt show. Was shifted to anothe. All the furniture was not in stock even though we were assured it would be by the sales staff before driving 250 miles one way to pick it up. And the price changed. The promotion ended prior to our arrival but they would nt let me buy it when i was picking it out while it was in effect.Now i have to go back and get the piece missing and paid for but have to give them an exact time i want to get it or it may be sold to another store and i will have to wait til another shipment arrives.

UPDATE: The response from Ashley Furniture from my review 2 weeks ago guides me to email their support dept. for assistance. If matters couldn't get any worse I emailed them twice since my post 2 weeks ago and never got a response from either one. I am so infuriated and disgusted with this company. With all their commercials you see on TV they appear to be a reputable company but they are not. I am afraid my next action may need to find out consumer rights regarding a zero return policy which I don't believe is legal. There were no signs posted about it at the store, nothing from our Sales rep. indicating such and never dealt with a company that has a zero return policy unless item is damaged. May also consider taking this to the media to warn others. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN! My husband and I purchased a couch, loveseat and recliner from Ashley. This was the first time we ever purchased from Ashley. We have purchased from other local furniture stores in the past. The set was delivered and we realized our front room was just a tad too small to accommodate the recliner. That same day of delivery my husband tried to contact the store, there is not way to contact the store directly they have a "call center" and they won't let you contact the store. When my husband explained that we wanted to return the recliner we were told Ashley has a NO RETURN POLICY unless the item is damaged! That is unheard of in this furniture industry or most industries. You are allowed to return an item within a time period, especially when we contacted them the day of. My husband went directly to the store that same day, and was directed to the manager who basically said "you signed for it" so there is nothing we can do!! They wouldn't allow us to return the item which was an expensive $1500 recliner. The manager told my husband the General Manager is in on Saturday and would call my husband. Never heard a word from the General Manager or Ashley furniture. I am so in shock and disappointed that they won't allow a return I will NEVER do business with them again. My husband will reach out to the General Manager on his next day off, but has to go into the store since you can't get ahold of them. This is a SHADY company. Terrible customer service and zero conflict resolution. I will tell anyone who asks about our beautiful couches not to ever do business with them again. We have purchased many times in the past with RC Willey with great service, you can get ahold of the store and your sales rep and can return items. We thought we would give Ashley a try since we have seen their advertisements and seemed like good prices. I am disgusted with their service. They don't care about you as a customer and your happiness with the purchase, they just want your money. They should have signs posted 'ALL SALES FINAL, NO RETURNS ACCEPTED UNLESS DAMAGED. " BUYER BEWARE!!!

I’ve gotten a few items from Ashley but my most recent purchase, a kitchen set, has issues with the stain on the table. I didn’t think to purchase a warranty sadly and the company won’t tell what I can buy in order to fix this issue. The top of the table needs to be re-stained and I have no idea what to use. Because of this, I won’t be buying anything again from Ashley’s. How hard should it be get the information I need

1st time ordering thru Ashley my sofa set was postponed 4 times, made the mistake of going thru Ashley again for a new couch and 2 days before delivery it got postponed again. We called yesterday to cancel our order and was told it was cancelled and that we’d get an email confirming our cancellation but we never got it so we called again today to be told it was never cancelled and that they would send a “request” to get it cancelled but could not tell us how long it would take because we are being added to a “list” of cancellations. Do not shop at Ashley if you want your furniture in a timely fashion

My Bf & I came in just to to look at couches and we were met by Jeremy. He was so welcoming & personable we immediately knew we wanted to work with him. He helped us find the perfect couch, rug & coffee table. He was so accommodating by moving furniture around to see everything all together which i truly appreciate especially when it's a big purchase! Definitely recommend this store as well as having him as your sales associate!

We went in the week of Christmse looking for a new dining table and chairs. Rosi immediately greeted us and directed us to where all the tables were throughout the store, for the size that we were looking for. She was so kind and came and checked in with us, answering any and all questions. We ended up finding the perfect table set for our needs and she walked us through the whole process and was absolutely sweet as ever. We left feeling like she was family. Honestly, what a gem she is. Our table and chairs were delivered shortly after Christmas with zero issues. Delivery was fast. We appreciate all the assistance we received during our experience at Ashley Furniture.

Update: it appears the manager has a plan to help us. Stand by. On our 2nd dining room set and it feels like we received a used one off KSL. Chips out of the legs, rubbed off finish etc. Chairs were in delivery truck with zero protection on the legs.

I’m sorry to say that for the first time ever, we are not satisfied with our recent purchase at Ashley’s. A few years ago we purchased a full-size mattress for a spare bedroom that has been very comfortable (soft), durable, and an excellent buy. We needed a new queen-size mattress and hoped to find one similar to the full-size we previously bought. The kind sales people looked up the model of the previous purchase and showed us one they believed would be comparable, if not better. The model we tried in the showroom seemed to be what we were looking for. I slept in the bed last night for the first time and was disappointed to find that it was too firm and impossible to get comfortable in. My wife feels the same way. We understand that it cannot be returned, so we are now left with a mattress that cost over $1,600 which we will not be able to use as we had hoped. We would be willing to pay the difference for an upgrade if we could get credit for this new mattress which unfortunately will not serve us.

Super easy and the store associate, Sarah, was incredibly helpful. She helped us pick an appropriate size couch and scoured the entire store for a matching pillow for us. Felt taken care of and am excited for our new couch!

I came in knowing the exact couch I wanted. Right away, Rosi greeted me and directed me where to find it. The staff listened to my preferences and were honest about the couch fitting in my living room (it wouldn’t as beautiful as it was). Instead of convincing me to settle with something I wouldn’t love, they found an alternative that would fit my style and space better. Rosi was an absolute delight. She guided me through the whole process, asked questions that would help me find a couch for my needs (and dogs) and ensured the checkout process was done smoothly. PSA everyone, what ever you do do NOT buy something from Ashley Furniture. We purchased a recliner from them and after sitting in it for a bit at home it made my husband’s and I’s backs hurt like crazy- totally different from the floor model we tried. We went to the store and they said sorry we don’t accept returns under any circumstances except damage. We were not told this by the salesman, he did not give us an opportunity to read through their policies, and now we’re out hundreds of dollars and stuck with an unusable product. Zero stars, negative infinity stars.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I am beyond disappointed with my experience with Ashely Furniture. First, they delivered the furniture to my old address when I confirmed with the sales lady in person that we had moved and gave her my correct address. I had to chase down the truck and have them come to my new address when they were bringing our first shipment of furniture. Huge hassle. Second, they changed our delivery date SEVERAL times. We were told our other two pieces would be there Nov. 21. (We needed them for Thanksgiving) they weren’t. In fact they again tried to confirm the shipping with our old address AGAIN. When I explained again that is our old address they delayed our shipment again again again. We live in the same town. We moved two blocks up and it delayed our shipment another 3 days. They now said it wouldn’t arrive till Dec 6th. We bought them Nov 4th. Customer services didn’t care. They did nothing to speed up the process. They never cared to actually update our address and I’m just furious with how they do things. I will never go back and I will advise every person I know to stay far away from supporting this unreliable company. I also opened up two claims with them that I never heard back on.

Can’t even call this a horrible experience, the only thing we experienced was Ashley charging our credit card and then disappeared. We showed up to the warehouse the day they told us the couch would be available for pickup but it was was not. The employee there told us they would FedEx is to our home, but refused to provide a tracking number. Two weeks after that I had not received a single communication so I called to cancel. After being routed to corporate I received a verbal confirmation that the order would be canceled but they refused to provide an email or text confirmation. Instead they said I should receive a phone call confirmation in 72 hours. It’s clearly built into their business model not to put anything in writing. I can see why.

Michael was the best! We weren’t sure about the couch we wanted but Michael went above and beyond. He was very patient and knowledgeable. We are very happy with the customer service at this store.

This store does not accept returns! I ordered a chest of drawers and the bottom 2 didn’t (and still don't) close properly. 2 technicians came out to fix it but said there’s a defect in the manufacturing. They sent a replacement but before they even brought it in the house we checked the drawers, 3 of them didn’t close tight. The delivery guy said all of that model was the same way. I refused delivery and kept the original broken one (they don’t accept returns remember). They offered me no discount or reimbursement so I’m stuck with the broken one. Never shop at this store!

The worst customer service ever. We purchased a bedroom set with a bed, bed frame, bed base, mattress, etc., but the sales guy sold us a bed base that was not necessary because the frame we chose comes with a base already. Finally, I returned after about two weeks of long phone calls and an in-person visit to the store again to explain and show them how unhappy I was about the situation. Now, I have an extra $59.80 new purchase charge on my card, no one can explain it to me why is for.

I have always loved everything I’ve gotten from Ashley. The customer service and management has been exceptional (the outlet store on 300 West). Compared to other retail chains (RC Willey, Living Spaces etc) Ashley Furniture rises well above the test.

I would not recommend purchasing anything from Ashley Furniture. Their products are of low quality and the process for getting a replacement following their warranty claim process is burdensome and mismanaged. We bought a power reclining sofa. After a year and a half of regular use, the sofa stopped reclining. (Keep in mind that this is a sofa with an original sticker price of $3000). Luckily we had purchased an extended warranty. After 6 weeks of working through the process, which includes multiple calls per week to ensure that the claim was progressing, we were provided a replacement. We selected a replacement product, paid an additional $200 for delivery and extended warranty. Delivery date was set and, following confirmation from multiple Ashley representatives (including our local store), we had our broken sofa removed from the house the day before delivery. Unfortunately we received an email the morning of the schedule delivery saying that it needed to be postponed fo an unknown reason. After multiple phone and in store conversations, we had the delivery rescheduled and confirmed by our local store. Again, we had the delivery cancelled the next morning via email with no notification as to why. Now we have an empty living room and will be without a sofa for another two weeks....assuming that the next delivery even happens. Please, for your sanity, do not purchase anything through Ashley.

I was not satisfied with your customer service and with your delivery service I paid cash in your store and then when you delivery service came here they couldn’t get the furniture through the door and to be totally honest with you. Their effort of even trying, was even less than. Then I came back to the store to see if we can get a different furniture from the one we chose and the sales reps kept saying this one or that one but we would have to pay more and I kept telling them no and I was just so disappointed I’ve heard good things about Ashley furniture and your location and your delivery service was very unsatisfactory and disappointing. I found the same couch at another store literally around the corner for over $300 less. I ended up only buying the ottoman from Ashley.

We had a very poor experience with Ashley. We bought a bedroom set from them and when we went to pick it up, the footboard wasn’t there with the rest of it so we forgot it. (The store is a half hour away). We also found out that the bed frame supports were either broken or missing so we couldn’t even set the bed up once we had the footboard. They took literal weeks in getting the supports for the bedframe for us and I had to call roughly 5 times. Finally I just decided to use my own 2x4’s and forget about their supports so I could set up the bedroom set that I had bought so long before. I will do anything to avoid going back to Ashley.

I got the corduroy couch in the greenish gray color. We absolutely love it. We got some great dog covers from Costco for our furry pals that snuggle with us on the couch. But also if they accidentally pushed the covers off and sit on the couch and get it all fury with a moist cloth or a quick vacuum it cleans right up. I also like how I can take the cushion covers off and wash them if need be. This couch is perfect for families who like to lounge and hang with their fur pals.

I found exactly what we needed at Ashley’s. The service was great, delivery prompt, and prices reasonable. All my experiences with Ashleys have been equally great!

Salesman was very nice. He did not mention that if the furniture doesn’t work, it is not refundable. They do not accept returns.. When the sofa was too big for the room, I was told too bad. I couldn’t even get anyone to talk to me about it and the Delivery truck had not even left my home yet. The People in the office were rude. The sales representatives I encountered were dismissive and discourteous, seemingly due to my casual attire, as I was wearing work clothes from completing house projects on a Saturday. They displayed visible frustration, rolling their eyes and redirecting me to their newest employee when I inquired about potential deals. The company should consider implementing an hourly wage system for their sales staff, potentially with a commission split, to eliminate this unwelcoming atmosphere. It's important to note that this is a furniture store, not a luxury car dealership, and such treatment is unwarranted

I am so frustrated with Ashley Furniture. The salesman was nice and helpful but when it came time to actually get the bed I got call after call delaying the delivery. After the third call I tried to cancel the order and was told I couldn’t even though they could only guarantee partial delivery. Never shopping Ashley again

This store is HORRIBLE!! I came in wanting to buy a bedroom and the sales woman had the worst attitude and was extremely rude, despite the red flags we decided to purchase the bedroom from them and spent a staggering $5k on a bedroom. We were promised the bedroom would arrive within a week only to find out it would take 3 weeks and 3 trips to Ashley’s wear house to get our full order, than the warehouse dropped our headboard and we had to wait another three days and take another trip to go get it again. Once we got the bedroom put together we found out we had spent $800 on the most uncomfortable mattress one can buy, when I called to talk to them about returning it or even exchanging it the woman on the phone told me they will not accept any returns under any circumstances after the sales woman had lied to me and told me they would accept returns, I have now been waiting for three days for a manager to get back to me and it has become clear that this store could care less about their customers, if you are planning a trip to this store please do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else.

Online order was “declined” after my bank account was charged for the order. No explanation was provided as to why the order was declined so I had to contact customer service. The only explanation given was that it was due to their “credit protection” program that supposedly protects customers financial institutions. So, my wife and I accompanied our niece into Ashley Furniture to help her begin to acquire a bed and kitchen table and sofas that she will need to furnish her new residence. After about ten minutes of entering the store, we were approached by one of the salesmen who, with less than optimal enthusiasm, asked if he could help. We accepted his comments on several pieces of furniture and continued to peruse the store. I had walked into the store with a half drank can of soda and once I was done, I placed the empty can on one of the furniture shelves. About 30 minutes later, the same salesman, out of the corner of my eye, approached me with what I thought was a full can of soda. What it ended up being, however, was my empty can I had left, 30 minutes earlier. He obviously knew where the garbage can was. I, however, had no clue and so I placed it on a shelf where I assumed a cleaner or the salesman would see it and be polite enough to put it in the garbage can. We were planning to spend a reasonable amount of money in his store. He lost a very substantial commission for his weird stunt. We will not return to this store!!

I've had two couches from Ashley furniture in the span of 4 years and have bought protection plans. I will not be buying from them again. The couches don't last long and the insurance barely covers anything. The first couch we were told it was real leather. It even said it in the description. Less than a year later it started peeling. Our second one started to fall apart 1yr of having it. We've had it for about a year and a half so far. I should've read the insurance coverage but sales people are good at what they do. I am a sucker for sales so that's my fault as well. Hopefully someone will find this helpful.

Online shopping experience is terrible. The only payment processor that worked was PayPal, so that’s how I completed my order. But then, the PayPal charges were in 4 random transactions, which seemed really strange. We ended up canceling items in our order because we found options that don’t take 16 weeks to ship. They didn’t process the refund until we spent hours on the phone 20 days after canceling. They said they would send documentation on what got refunded and never did. I never received all my money back for the canceled items. Then, the in store employee was a condescending sales man who encouraged us to cancel our online order and rebuy through him. He said our items probably wouldn’t get delivered anyway. It was a very strange experience, stay away from here at all costs!!

The Salt Lake store is beautiful with lots of options to choose from no matter what kind of furniture you’re looking for. The salesman, Rick, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he showed me some different options to choose from. I left the store with everything I wanted and a delivery date of my choosing for everything to be delivered. This is a great store with high quality furniture.

Service was prompt. Salesperson Candie was helpful but not hovering. I spent some time browsing and sitting in chairs. I had searched online beforehand and they had what I wanted. Purchased on sale. Scheduled setup and delivery. In and out in less than an hour.

They delivered an incorrect sectional to my mother and refused to fix the problem. They would not take accountability for their mistake. They wasted our time and were very unpleasant. Don’t deal with these crooks.

This review is actually for the Layton location my Google just won’t let me write my review there. I had a horrible experience with their sales person Gassahn if that’s even how you spell his name he hit on me the entire time I was in the store he was constantly hitting his vape and being rude. Then I saw him yelling at one of his coworkers she seemed so nice cute one with purple hair. Anyway salt lake location is very nice but the sales person Gassahn in Layton is very arrogant rude and made me feel uncomfortable I will definitely be going to other locations for my future business.

I’ve been in Ashley stores many times but not this one. This one was weird, there were 4 adults in my group, none of us knew where to pay… no signs anywhere! Finally found it, the guy took forever getting ALL OF OUR INFORMATION.. why did he need it? We just wanted to pay and leave!! Once he was done getting all of our info he then led us back to another place to pay, then back to the original place to get the receipt!!! I’m not kidding when I say this took AT LEAST 20 minutes, maybe more. Honestly had I known this was going to take that long to pay I would not have bought the items. Then I mention to them they should have a sign as to where to pay and that I was getting weary of the process, this snarky old man said, ‘well look at what your saving’. We bought sale items. So I asked if this would have been the same process had we bought normal priced items ? Answer, yes! Just a double down drag and not like ANY OTHER ASHLEY store I’d ever been in. Worst experience ever!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They first lied about my delivery date by 2 weeks, then the delivery guys lefts all the trash in my front yard for multiple days. To make it better my entertainment center I bought is all broken and missing parts. The doors are falling off and the shelves can't hold anything without falling apart.

Went to buy furniture with money in hand. Took 40 min to track someone down, then while I was trying to buy furniture the sales person left to close another deal then made me wait while they did a credit check on them. I came in with cash and was planning on spending at least two to three thousand dollars. Instead I had to wait so I only had time to get three items before I had to leave. You have a hundred thousand square foot building with two sales people in it . So I ended up getting the door greeter the credit checker and the salesman all in one , I will not be back.

How unprofessional is that? And it's no point to even try to escalate because their Operations Manager Courtney is just as useless. She actually canceled my order without even telling me or leaving notes as to why. The only reason I can think she canceled my order is because of the conversation I had with her about the damaged headboard I received on another order which she wouldn't even try to address. Plain and simple....listen to al these BAD reviews about their BAD customer service, terrible management, delayed orders, receiving damaged products and the list goes on. Every one of these reviews is ABSOLUTELY TRUE so READ and LISTEN to every one!!! Go spend your money with another company that actually wants your loyalty and business not one like Ashley who simply wants your money and cares less if you come back.

Horrible delivery experience. My mom just got out of the hospital. They never called to tell us when delivery (well they did AFTER they already left). They were extremely extremely rude. They never called the phone number they were instructed to repeatedly. They just wanted to leave it in the garage and leave. Not worth the $100 delivery fee that was advertised as free delivery. Customer service seriously sucked from the moment we started. I dont think we will ever use them again.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My wife and I went 3 weeks ago to place an order for a bed frame and chest drawer. We were told that all items were available and would be delivered on 10/31. Turns out the chest was a backorder item and when Ashley delivered the bed frame, the footboard didn't match the rails or headboard, the lamps didn't match the headboard and as a remedy, the technician wanted to drill holes into the headboard. 3 weeks have passed, and Ashley mailed 2 lamps for the bed. One of them is the right one, but the other doesn't match. So 3 weeks after purchase, we still do not have our order fulfilled. This is a mickey mouse organization that is good at taking your money and not delivering your orders that you paid in full for. My advice is to stay away from Ashley and take your business elsewhere. To Ashley: Do not leave me your automated "we're sorry but contact us" line. I've been on the phone with you clowns for 3 weeks, and nothing has been resolved.

Walked in to a ghost town!! All the employees were in the breakroom hosting a baby shower for an employee. My husband and I walked the entire store alone. Three women asked if someone was helping us. But no one stayed around long enough to answer any questions we did have. I cannot and will not buy from a sale person thst is NOT helpful knowing they are earning commission on the"sale". One girl approached us three times but she was so rude, abrupt, very short with her responses, she made rude faces at me when I was trying to give her my phone number, had to repeat it three times, and so pushy. She was only interested in us paying her commission check and NOT interested in helping us find furniture that made us happy and fit our needs!!! We DID decide on a couch and was gonna buy that day but NOT from her so we left! Store is located on 300W.

We had a terrific experience finding the perfect sofa. Michael helped us and was delightful. He is very well informed on the merchandise in the store. Michael was so pleasant and very efficient and very pleasing to work with. We will return to Ashley.

Walked in and was greeted by Richard.M really nice and helpful, highly recommend him. We bougth some floor clearance items. At check out, Foster the store Manager was not rude but very unreasonable asking us to come back the next day because he had no one to load us. He went on to say if I wanted to take it I could cary it out myself and refused to open the side door In the cleerance section due to having no keys on hand. Total A hole. Guess what, Richard found the keys and helped me load it up himself. Awsome guy to go out of his way to do this. The items were small and Foster's customer service will make me not want to shop there again. I understand if it was a huge sectional or complete heavy bedroom set, No problem. These were a small chair and a bed in one med size box that Richard brought over in a dolley. I carried the chair out myself. Thank you Richard and Foster shame on you for lying about not having keys and bad customer service.

I had a great experience with Ashley Furniture and highly recommend it. I worked with two absolutely exceptional sales reps (Candi and Sarah) on my two visits to the store. In both cases, I was greeted immediately at the door, asked if there was something in particular I was interested in, directed how to get there and told the rep would check on me after I had time to look around (which she did). Neither hovered, but both made themselves readily available and answered all of my questions. Sarah educated herself on what Candi had discussed with me the day before so we didn’t have to waste any time reviewing things. Sarah and Candi are examples of an ideal customer sales rep. When I was ready to make my purchase, Sarah stayed in contact with me on everything from finalizing the sale to arranging for delivery. I was also very pleased with the delivery service. I was kept informed of estimated arrival changes and Jorge and his assistant were polite, efficient and capable. Oh, and I love the furniture too.

Sarah was fabulous to work with! She pointed out the Clare View patio set and we loved it- can’t wait to see it in our home! We even found a cute set for our front patio (mandarin cape) such a great price for 3 pieces! We highly recommend working with her if you are in the market for furniture!

I had a great experience shopping here! I was on the hunt for the matching headboard to my bedroom set I purchased from Ashley furniture years ago. I have only ever had the nightstand and dresser, as I received these two pieces as a Christmas gift from my parents. While browsing at this location I found the exact Queen headboard I needed on the floor and Sarah helped to locate all the pieces to it. It was brand new with no damage, and truly a miracle find! I was also able to purchase the Maggie sofa for nearly half price from the clearance section. Such great finds here and a great experience working with Sarah to purchase these items!

Horrible horrible store. Horrible customer service!!! The quality of the products are compared to a cardboard box. Ordered a bed room set and the head board was broken had to refuse on site. The dresser was broken in 4 places but since we took it into our home for 3 minutes they wouldn't take it back. Had a technician try and repair it and they made it worse!!! Never ever will I step foot in any location. My hard earn money wasted on a company that sells subpar furniture that falls apart. Would not recommend this highway robbery store. Don't waste your time or money.

Shopping at Ashley was such a pleasant experience! So many amazing options and our salesperson Tom McCartan was incredibly helpful and not pushy at all. He made our purchasing process super easy and got us the best discounts. I would come back to shop here for furniture again and would recommend to anyone else looking for a great deal! We found better deals here than most of the other furniture stores in the area.

Well this was interesting. We were at a different Ashley location looking at a table. It was unfortunately discontinued, but the Salt Lake location had one in stock that was a floor model. We called the store, got the quote for just the table and the assurance it was there and would be 30% off. After driving over 30 minutes to get there, no one was at the door to greet or guide us. We walked through the store and found someone who directed us to the salesperson we spoke to. The salesperson we spoke to then guided us across the store to the table in the wrong color, even though we spoke to two people on the phone confirming the item and color, one of those individuals was her. After she located the correct color, she speed walked us to what seemed to be the storage area of the store. There was definitely no browsing along the way. When we got there the price was over triple what they quoted us on the phone and we were told we have to take the chairs too. We explained we just drove over 30 minutes because two people on the phone confirmed we could get this exact table for 30% off without the chairs. Again, one of those days individuals was her. She told us we were spoiled and that when she lived in Florida she drove an hour. She didn’t even bother to consider what we have going on in our lives and why driving around over the next few days would be difficult for us. She then said she had to confirm with her manager that we could get just the table. So we walked all the way back around to the other side of the store again and the manager, who also was not helpful or very happy said we could have just the table for 20% off. By this time we were a little fed up and agreed and said we will take it today. Then we found out that no one was there to help us load it into our car and we were told we have to move it from storage to our car by ourselves and load it into our car ourselves. I feel like this is a liability waiting to happen, especially since I said we are coming right now to get it on the phone and no one said we would have to load it ourselves. And again, one of those individuals we spoke to and said we are coming right now to pick it up was her. This was now getting ridiculous. Finally, we asked if there was another entrance we could use, she said no even though there were three entrances, one that led straight out to our car in the parking lot. We asked if we could use the side door that was clearly right in front of us marked “Exit”. She said she would get the key and we pulled our car around. Then she watched as my husband and I loaded the table by ourselves into our car and she locked the door behind us without saying goodbye or thanking us. Horrible service. This will be our one and only shopping experience with Ashley Furniture. I like the table and quality, but I truly believe the salesperson matters and so does the manager on duty as the one tonight was not helpful at all. Unfortunately, this is a true buyer beware.

Good store, kind of annoying that you can’t look around without a sales rep following 10 steps behind you. I get they’re are trying to make money, but following me around the entire store isn’t the way to do it. It’s awkward and makes me less inclined to want to stay and buy something.

First of all, you know that when you’re dealing with Ashley, you are going to have quality furniture! The pricing and selection at the store I went to on 300 W., and about 1700 South was fantastic! My sales person was Janet and she was wonderful. I’d like to give her a five stars for dealing with all the items I bought and the paperwork it took for her to get me all set up! All with a smile on her face!.

I was told by my sales guy that I would get free delivery, then was charged $100. My purchase was on sale $350 off, but I was charged full price. When I brought the difference to his attention, I was told I would get my money back in 3-5 days. After a week and no return, I called again, and he blamed the accounting department. I then called them directly, only to find out that he barley submitted the request that day, AFTER I had called him again and he blamed them. In all, it took over 2 weeks to get my money back. This was also the 2nd mattress I have purchased from him. Next, I was told that due to the issues, I could get some store credit in the form of a gift card. When I agreed to that, I was next told that he asked and now found out that they no longer do that. In all, I felt, rather, WAS, VERY lied to and taken advantage of by my sales person. EVEN AFTER I kept his card from over a year ago and came back to him for a second purchase ( a $3000 mattress...) I still need a few more items, but will go somewhere else in the future.

This is a great furniture store but the workers make me uncomfortable. They have the habit of following me and my wife around while we’re just cruising around. The last thing someone wants is to look over their shoulder to see a worker following them, and their attempt at hiding the fact they’re following you is very poor. It’s not like someone is going to grab a couch and walk out with it, never coming back because of the atmosphere.
