Ashley Store St George, UT

TERRIBLE experience! I ordered a couch in November. They told me that there were parts of the sectional on back order that wouldn’t be delivered until end of December. End of December comes and I only get four of the six pieces! And no email, no call, or text letting me know about a delay or when the next part would be delivered. Absolutely awful customer service with Ashley, and it took forever to get the delivery rescheduled! right now the other pieces of the sectional are scheduled for February 25 but who knows if they’ll ever arrive!

If you buy a dresser it will cost you about $400. What they don't tell you is that you can't use it unless you pay them $80. They will bring it to your house but they will leave it in the box and most of their dressers weigh at least a couple hundred pounds. Because of the way they pack it you can't scoot it out of the box or pull the box out from under it. You have to lift it up and carry it over the wooden base, put it down, move the wood, and move it into place. Unless you know two burly men or want to pay movers you just paid $400 for a dresser that you can't use. In order to avoid this nightmare you have to pay white glove delivery. That means they will take it out of the box and put on the feet if necessary or the handles. This means you will pay $80 for 10 minutes of their time.

I don’t even want to give one star. I was in the store tonight for over 30 minutes. No one helped me at all. I wanted to purchase a sofa tonight. The store manager even walked past me three times and never offered to help or get anyone to help. So frustrating

Nice selection of furniture. Understaffed

I recently purchased furniture from here with "white glove delivery", and apparently it isn't policy to notify customers that their expected 3 hour delivery window was extended by 5 hours. I had to call to find this out only after I had waited all day for my delivery.

I bought a bedroom set, a living room set with occasional tables, counter stools and a dinette table with stools. I received my furniture on a Friday and on Monday I called requesting an exchange of the dinette set and the occasional tables. Ashley said they don’t do returns. I looked on my receipt and sure enough it says no returns. However, I wasn’t asking to return. I was asking for an exchange where I was going to spend even more money. I was given excuses and then Ashley would not return my phone calls. I did some research and saw that my order fell within Ashley‘s policy for exchanges. Therefore Ashley was violating their own exchange policy. I complained to the BBB and just the other day I received a call from Ashley corporate that I would be receiving a credit for the items I wanted to exchange, and those items will be picked up when my new order will be delivered. It used to be the customer was always right. In some cases they still are.

Amazing experience here at Ashly!!! From the furniture to the salesman, David to the manager lady that I forgot her name. 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do not recommend. Had a newer sales person who did not know the return policies and did not inform us before we signed that there are no returns once the furniture is delivered. Called the service dept. as we were not happy with the couches only to learn we could not return them. Both the store and their help desk would not help us, regardless of policy or not. Poor Customer Obsession and its sad we were punished for having a new sales person. I understand the policy is listed on the receipt, but it piled under 5 other pages of info and hard to find.

Brian Ocedueda was so awesome! He went beyond the call of duty and even stayed late to help load my furniture up because the Warehouse guys had already gone home for the day. He was helpful in helping me find more than just this whole collection set of furniture, but also a second set that we have to go to Las Vegas to pick up. Brian gets five stars for awesome customer service and friendliness, positive attitude, and helpfulness! Thank you so much :-)

BAIT & SWITCH BEWARE!!! My parents just moved here from across the country. They intended to furnish their new house when they got here. We took my mom to go furniture shopping. She found a living room set, dining set, sofa couch and a small table set. We brought my dad back the next day to give his input. I found several of the pieces listed cheaper in their website. I asked the manager if they priced matched their own website. He said yes. They also gave us the paper on the promotion that started July 11th - the day we brought my dad in. Again... this was the NEXT DAY. We were passed off to a different sales person to finish the sale. She put in the price matches and then the discount. 25% off the highest item, then 20% off the rest of the order. I already knew the ballpark figure so when the total came until that same ballpark-- nothing seemed off. On delivery day, they did not have the sofa couch. They said it wasn't in the order. We were not given the receipt-- it was supposed to be emailed, but never was. After going into the store to figure out where the couch was, they said it wasn't a part of the order. Looking over the order-- they had the full price listed, not the price match. I have screenshots of all the items price-matched. These were NOT on sale. These were just priced lower on the website. Again, which they gladly price-matched for us....or so we thought. They were unwilling to help us in the store. They contacted the corporate customer care who was supposed to call us Monday, July 21st. It's now Wednesday night and no call. I've also called and left messages for the store manager who hasn't returned my calls. They owe my parents the actual difference in the ashes agreed price or the sofa couch that was a part of the intended original order. Additionally, the dining table came with 5 scratches. This wasn't from delivery-- they unpacked it carefully. The repair they brought in looks like burn marks. It's going back. One of the sofa cushions has a snag and has to be redone. Buyer beware!! Don't let the salesman just type stuff on their tablet without seeing it before signing. Ask for a print out and review all pricing before signing. Also, they don't tell you this in the store-- only when dropped off, that the sales are final. The furniture repair man also said that it was up to the store if they replace the dining table. If they think a customer paying $800 for a new dining set with 5 scratches is acceptable-- then run far from this company. I'll update this review IF or WHEN we have a resolution for the bait and switch pricing and replacing the bad dining table.

We are never giving them our business again. We bought a couch, and it delivered broken. My husband called and asked for a replacement to be sent. He asked for a discount for the inconvenience and they said they would refund us $50. They told us they would process it and let us know by the end of the day when the next one would be delivered. We didn’t hear anything back. So, my husband called them the next day and was on hold for over an hour. When he finally got through to Someone, he was told that they didn’t end up processing anything. So, he asked them to send a replacement and they finally processed it. But, they didn’t give us the $50 refund they said they would. When my husband pointed that out they said they can’t authorize a refund or discount since it had already been processed. Even though they knew about the refund before it was processed. So we got fed up with their BS and just requested a full refund. The couch itself was okay, besides it being delivered broken. But the way they treat their customers is a joke.

Awful experience. Visited the store knowing exactly what I wanted but it took an hour for the salesman and his manager to process two items. Neither knew how to use the system and provided conflicting information about the store’s policy on sales and shipping prices. I felt a total disregard of my time. Fast forward two weeks later and I still have not received the email receipt that was promised, so I call the store and get transferred to a call center where I learn that my order is back-ordered and arriving a full month later than was promised. I took an entire day off work to be home to receive the order. When were they going to communicate this change to me? If ever? Absolutely unacceptable. My time and effort was wasted through this entire process. I cancelled my order and will never purchase anything from this company ever again.

Amazing customer service and pricing.

Added the furniture protection plan and then when we went to remove it, they pushed us off until 24 hours before item was gonna get shipped to us then said they would have to cancel the order and redo it to takeoff the protection plan. Wouldn’t recommend buying from Ashley.

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. THEY BUY CHEAP FURNITURE FROM CHINA THAT WILL BREAK IN A YEAR. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY PARTS TO FIX IT. I purchased an electric reclining set for over 4,600. A year later the sofa already broke. They do not care about their customers

I purchased a lot of furniture from them, they have great customer service until you pay them. The wrong bed showed up then it took several weeks to get the right one. Bed set drawers came damaged. A month and a half later we still don’t have the bedframe but we have been told several times that it’s in stock at the warehouse. Still no delivery date. If you expect to receive your items in a timely manner, buy elsewhere.

5 Stars - Exceptional Service! We recently DuraPella Oversized Dual Power Performance Fabric Recliner from Ashley Furniture and had an amazing experience thanks to Jeremy. He was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs—especially considering my upcoming knee surgery. He took the time to show us all the features of the recliner, including the scratch-resistant fabric, which he demonstrated right in front of us by scratching it with his nails—no marks at all! Jeremy was informative without being pushy, and really made the buying experience smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re in the market for new furniture!

Take your business elsewhere. I spent $7487.51 on several items. Long story short, I purchased an extended warranty and additional products marketed to me to ensure my warranty was valid. I've been jerked around and what a joke the customer service is. Keith was our salesman, and at this point I feel like I was lied to to make a sale. I would put zero stars of it could.

Ashley has changed so much. I used to buy all of my furniture from Ashley over the years and loved every piece of furniture that I had. I recently purchased a whole new living room set and two beds and I’ve had nothing but troubles with getting the warranty work done on the couch that hasn’t held up after three months. I’ve tried working with them on returning the mattresses in exchange for something different or money back on their sleep trial, haha that’s a joke… DONT DO IT!!! We are now stuck with two mattresses that we can’t do anything with and we paid thousands of dollars for. The manager is very rude and inconsiderate, unwilling to help anybody or work with anybody and likes to argue with customers. I will never shop here again.

They sell you furniture they know they don't have. Then after you pay they keep telling you it's on backorder for months and months on end.

My daughter bought a chaise lounger and a recliner, she pd 200.00 for it to be brought into our house and set up. Well these items needed to go upstairs, they wouldn't take it up stairs, said it was 2 heavy, well we pd for delivery and set up, so they left it in the middle of our frontroom down stairs. They could have easily got another person from their store to help or give the 200.00 back, they did neither. My daughter called and talked to them and they said we'll call you back, haha right, never did. Will never purchase there again

I purchased a beautiful leather couch. We paid for a extended warranty. The seat that electronically reclines out broke. We get informed that since corporate bought out the franchise store nether the warranty company or Ashley will do anything to fix our couch. This is how Ashley view their customers! I will be pursuing further actions. I recommend taking your business to other companies that honor their warranty and have better customer service!!!

Landon was awesome. He was very patient and answered all my questions. We walked through the entire store and he was very knowledgeable about all the products. I didn't feel rushed or like I was being forced into buying anything. I told him I was just looking when I first entered the store and he still spent time with me. It was nice to be able to look and not feel like I was wasting a salesmans time. I did end up buying a few decorative items from the clearance section and will be back when I'm ready to purchase my furniture.

I needed a new mattress set and was lucky enough to meet David Gin at the St George store. We shared medical backgrounds and found we had many common ailments. David took me to a dream set. So comfortable. I will update my review once I've slept on the bed. But if you are looking for someone who knows mattresses, why sleep is important and how to stay within budget, David is the man!

Our experience with BLAIR was amazing !! he made sure to go over every single aspect of each couch that we were interested in, took his time, and made sure we would get our moneys worth (this was our first couch that we have bought new)!!! Blair made sure to show us all the options and told some jokes along the way… he is amazing and if you get the chance to request someone Blair is the one, you can tell he genuinely cares about his clients !!!!

Terrible delivery, not tighten when set up, they didnt even leave the rails for box springs, and it already broke when trying to push it to the wall because the delivery left it a foot away from the wall. I WOULD SHOP ELSEWHERE.

Don't EVER EVER EVER buy anything from Ashley Furniture. They DO NOT stand behind their products. I wanted gray wood end tables. They didn't' have any in the showroom at the time, but was shown by another piece of furniture what they would look like. I Liked the wood shown to me....It was gray. When I received them, they were BROWN....not gray. I went into the store to talk to them. That had the exact end tables in there...IN GRAY...I asked if they would just EXCHANGE my brown ones for those gray ones. They would NOT do it. I talked to them twice and they kept saying the same thing...."It is corporate "POLICY" NOT to do that. I even called the corporate office. Did not get anywhere with them either. SO....I AM STUCK WITH BROWN ENDTABLES THAT ARE SITTING NEXT TO MY GRAY SOFA AND LOVESEAT.....THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEM AS WELL. DO NOT TRUST THAT PLACE.

Walked in knowing exactly what I wanted Spoke to Sal and he was very helpful. Answered all my questions and was super easy to work with. I pretty much sat back while he worked it all out. Getting my new sectional in about a week. Which was exactly when we wanted it.

We have been loyal Ashley customers for years. We bought an entire house of furniture in 2020 which we sold to our buyers when we sold our home last year. Early this year we bought new furniture for our new home in Mesquite. My biggest concern when purchasing living room furniture was sagging cushions. I was assured that the sofas were good quality and that would not be an issue. Being a skeptic, I went ahead and purchased a sofa, loveseat, and two swivel accent chairs, but also purchased the extended warranty for these items. One of the accent chairs was broken less than 4 months after delivery. The technician came out and ordered a new swivel mechanism for the chair. We showed him how all of the cushions were already sagging. They ordered new cushions for all the pieces but one never arrived. Upon checking, I was told that they didn’t order a cushion for the second swivel accent chair, but that he would order one right away. Based on that, I postponed the technician trying to save them a trip. After not hearing anything, I called the store back only to find out that the cushion was never ordered. Sammi, the customer service manager told me she would order a replacement cushion right away. I emailed to get a tracking number on the cushion only to get a response saying that a new cushion wouldn’t be available until September. It is pretty sad that after spending so much money on a house full of furniture that my sofas look like crap in just a few short months. My opinion is that the store uses a higher quality foam for their store models and use inferior foam on the furniture they deliver. Sammi insisted that is not the case, however we had friends recently come visit from out of state and they have the exact same couches with the exact same issues. Ashley used to sell sofas with coil springs in the cushions that stayed looking great. I was told they no longer sell sofas with the coil springs. They must want to only sell inferior sofas so that people have to replace them every few years. I will no longer purchase from them. What a disappointment!

Do not buy furniture here if you want to receive all of your furniture. I’ve been sent about 3/4 of the pieces for my sectional couch that I ordered months ago. The couch doesn’t connect without the rest of it so it looks ridiculous. I’ve been lied to multiple times on when it’s going to be delivered and every week it gets pushed another month out. Who knows when I’ll get it. Horrible experience.

The sales rep I worked with was John. He Listen to what I was looking for, was patient and had some good suggestions. friendly to and knowledgeable. My only suggestion is for the sales reps to make sure they tell the buyer what it cost for a delivery charge and protection plan, he mentioned them, but didn’t tell me the cost. I was shocked when I saw i Delivery charge on my receipt at $199.

My husband and I went into Ashley around March 15th. Picked out a couch and a coffee table and an end table that ended up totaling to about 4k. We were told that everything would be delivered on April 20th. At the time I remember thinking that that was a long time but I understood bc the couch was made to order so i get it. April 12th, I called to make sure everything on our order was good to go bc I hadn’t got a call or email about our order being on time or anything and the lady told me that everything was good to go and “not to worry your order will be delivered on April 20th” well today is the April 17th and I just got a call saying that our order is delayed until MAY 18th!? That’s literally ridiculous. I’ve tried calling the store 3 times and no answer so I will be heading over there today in hopes that I don’t have to wait 2 whole months for our new couch 😂 Edited bc this was resolved. I don’t remember who I spoke with but he was very professional and helped resolve this issue . Thank you 🙌🏼

Me and my wife just bought a new house so the 0% finance for 60 month option made for a very little monthly payment which is best for a new home owner. This furniture place is the worst. I am never coming here again. They delivered me a fireplace that was Dented and then they say they can’t return it Or replace it. If I were you, I would stay away from this place and also the TV stand was damaged, but it was never delivered If I were you, I would go to furniture Row. Just got a tempurpedic mattress and bedframe. The whole sale process was super quick and easy. Keith was awesome and super friendly and helpful. The first person we met was Kimo which was hands down the best sale associate there. He Let us have our space but was close by if we had any question. Wasn’t following us everywhere like other do. The GM came and introduced herself as Adriana we told her our experience with Blvd furniture which She was super nice and understanding. we ended up finding the exact dining room set we wanted and purchased it that day. keep in mind they had it way cheap then what we were originally going to pay at Blvd furnishing. We felt appreciative and understood. They really took there time and made sure our needs were met. 100% recommend for any sort of furniture.

My husband and I came in to purchase a sofa set on Monday and we were initially greeted by James. He answered every question we had and was excellent. We came back today with a final decision on a set and we worked with Aly and the manager Adrianna- WOW. Talk about customer service. Adrianna knew every single thing about multiple sets we inquired about and explained their quality system and how the 5 year protection system worked. Aly handled all of our paperwork and made the process so seamless. We also got a beautiful dinner set for making a purchase! Had a brand new broken chair delivered to us. When I called. They told me they had to send out a service repair to evaluate the issue. The gentleman came out said that it needed a whole brand new bottom to the recliner. I asked why we couldn’t get a new chair. They said that they have to fix it first it took them two weeks. They finally came out and as he was fixing it, he got frustrated stood up said I can’t do this anymore and left. He literally had the chair torn to pieces. We went down to Ashley Furniture to speak to the manager about what we can do about this David was amazing, but the young lady who was the receptionist started getting upset actually stood up, went off on me, informed me that she was pregnant and continued to yell and scream to the point where the manager asked her to walk away the other receptionist that was sitting there immediately started to help. David said that he was not going to End his day until this was taken care of he later called me and told me that they were going to send someone out to pick up the chairs and refund my money. I will never shop with them again, nor do I recommend them but David and the other receptionist or secretary was absolutely amazing understanding compassionate. if not, for the other young lady I would’ve just rebought the chair but because of her I will never step foot in there again, and to end this story. come to find out it was her husband who walked away and left my chair in pieces . That’s why she became hi rate when we were saying this isn’t acceptable and whoever he was he needed to escalate it up. He did not do a good job she became defensive and abusive verbally.

I had no clue but one of the items I bought came in a box with 100 pieces to put together. Ashley furniture, I'd rather shop at IKEA!!!

William went above and beyond just to give me some ideas on home decor and has made me feel like if I ever need anything for my house that this location will always be my very first stop. Absolutely exceptional service when I didn't even need to ask for it. All retail stores need to use William as an example of an upstanding employee and should be what they strive for! Can't praise enough.

This was the second time purchasing furniture at Ashley's and they've always taken care of us. Our first time we purchased a sectional couch and recently we bought a recycling/rocking chair. Both Eddie, and the Manager Adriana went above and beyond in giving us great care. Our older sectional couch that we previously purchased at Ashley's was getting a little wear and tear on the cushions (because we have four boys) and they were great at ordering some new cushion coverings for us. Thanks for taking care of us! I'm sure we'll be back.

Furniture shopping can be a little intimidating but we were lucky enough to meet Eddy. He was so patient and knowledgeable about all the products it made shopping a 100x easier. We are so happy with our purchase and can’t thank Eddy enough for all his help, he really went above and beyond for us.

We walked in unsure where to start. Samantha greeted us with a warm welcome and let us do our thing. Never shop at this store. The salesman are liars and will say anything to make a sale even if it is not true. They have an excuse for everything and just blame errors on “people make mistakes” I understand that people make mistakes but people can also correct mistakes. Ashley does not care about you once they take your money. Nothing would ever make me walk in this store again

We were very impressed with the salesman William. Even when we decided to check a few more stores before buying he was still very friendly and helpful. Good selection there, we mostly just didn't have a big enough vehicle and are looking for ideas anyways.

this store has genuinely the nicest people I've ever met, I'm not even kidding. my friend and I mostly came in to just kinda look around and sit on couches and beds (lol) but the staff was literally SOOOO nice and funny. Another store with sales scam! Walk in and was told we won $100 of in store credit. But surprise surprise when we went to use it, it only applied to products that are fully marked up.

I had a great salesman who is very helpful in trying to solve a small problem. But every time I have called the store, I get connected to a person with a very heavy accent and a lot of static on the call. Static with every word spoken so that I can’t understand anything said. I hope your Customer service can be improved with at least a good phone connection.

GREAT SELECTION GREAT STAFF. They were very transparent about everything and how they are now corporate owned versus being privately owned. Great for us as customers give us better selection and better service. I have noticed when it comes to any issues as I had a delay with my sofa, the best service to get is from in store. Or speaking to someone in the store not corporate as their phone tree sometimes leads to one of those reps. They stated with me from beginning everything is an estimate and were willing to help keep track of my order by putting a reminder on their calander and make me aware of any date changes. This communication is really all we wanted to be able to plan accordingly.

Blair did a fabulous job. We ran into many hiccups with Ashley delivery. However, Blair went above and way beyond to get everything straightend out and get us what we ordered. I would highly recommend if you go see Blair at the St. George Store.

Good selection, but lacking in customer service. Walked in and around the whole store multiple times looking at various couches and when we were about to leave and came back around to look at a price on something, a salesperson finally came over. Initially a nice guy, but trying to get a word in edge wise was a task and a half and it seemed like he was just wanting to make a sale more than listening to me/us. I noted (in my head) that 4 separate times I was trying to ask something and he was just moving on to the next piece of furniture. Like I said, he was nice (can't remember the name) but listen more to the customers please. Felt pressured too because we decided on what we thought we wanted at a decent price (before adding $129 delivery and $200 (or whatever it was) extended warranty turning a $700 couch into like $1100 after tax) and gave our info but never came back. Went to a couple of other places and ended up buying from Furniture Row. Zero pressure there and friendly from the beginning.

Furniture shopping can be very overwhelming, especially when you walk into a huge store like this, but when you have someone to help guide you through the store you feel little more at ease. We were at this local store looking for a comfy sectional for our living room and our sales guy Eddy asked us detailed questions of exactly what we needed. He showed us directly to couches right up our alley. Maybe within a few we found the one for us. Eddy helped us quick and made it easy. The sale was smooth. So if you are visiting this Ashly location, definitely ask for Eddy. He'll make this overwhelming task a breeze for ya.

I visited Ashley furniture to browse the availability of a couple of side tables for my living room. I was approached by aa saleswoman, Samantha, who was very friendly and she offered me assistance. So for a good 30-more minutes she walked me throughout areas that had these tables. We discussed the style I was mainly looking for, farmhouse or traditional. Even though the visit was great and I was shown quite a few tables, I couldn’t make up my mind. We bought it living room set and when we had it delivered we had to keep it at our rental as our house wasn’t done because the wouldn’t hold it. We had it in the boxes for a month and when we opened them in our newly built home there were roaches in the box. Ashley said it was over 72 hours since delivery so they were not responsible. We had to have new home fumigated
