I went shopping for a few items and this time nothing stood out to me. I have bought from them before and was very happy BUT I had a store credit, under $100, I went next door the their other store and found everything I needed. When I asked if I can apply my credit my sale person Kristie called to see if we could and was told no, she felt bad telling me. Seriously! I spent over $6,000 and they could spare the few dollars that was mine. Because of this I will not be shopping in their store except to find something for my credit then done.

I came into this furniture store thinking I’d just browse, maybe sit in a chair or two and pretend I had my life together. Instead, Daphine somehow turned furniture shopping into the highlight of my week!! Always ask for Daphine when needing new furniture!

⸻ ⭐ 1 Star This store does NOT honor Ashley’s coupons. I was told there was “fine print,” but when I checked the coupon—there was none. The website clearly says sign up and receive your discount, with no mention of exclusions. When I questioned it, the associate said, “I’m independent and don’t have to honor it.” Very misleading. Also, the shopping experience was uncomfortable. The moment I walked in, I was stopped by three different salespeople before I could even browse. It felt pushy and overwhelming. Overall: Rude service, misleading promotions, and not worth the hassle. You’re better off ordering online—you’ll actually get the discount and a smoother experience.

Before making the final purchase at Ashley’s , we visited other furniture stores and none offered a better inventory or better price. Daphine B. worked with us and ensured all our questions were answered and we were confident with the purchase. Since we’ve had the sectional we’ve received tons of compliments, and it is so comfortable I would rather sleep on it, than our expensive mattress. As for the store, it is always beautifully decorated and very welcoming. The staff are always available to provide any help. I plan on buying exclusively from Ashley furniture in the future . .

I ordered my dual recliner online in November was told it would be here by Christmas. Each week since, I had received messages pushing it out. I received it today 1/30 well worth the wait. Beautiful product well built and it was delivered by the best delivery team we could have asked for. Shout out to Mike Magnusson and Rajai Abdo. Your politeness, kindness and determination to get our furniture in the room we needed it in (no easy task) was very appreciated. You trouble shooted every possible way and got it done. This is customer service above beyond and better than any we have received since we have been here thank you gentlemen. Stay safe and be well.

**If someone you love plans to buy furniture here, you absolutely must stop them.** I came here to write the same review as Julia K below, only that now it's January and the store continues to delay. Our in-store experience was pleasant, probably because the salespeople promised a timeline they couldn't deliver. They provided no updates unless I called, and rather than apologizing or trying to make-good, the salespeople and the general manager deflected blame to anything else imaginable, including the Panama Canal. Our family is disappointed, and honestly pretty sore from waiting "just a couple more weeks" for so long!

In store experience was excellent, had a sales associate help me right away and show me my options for purchasing a couch within my budget. Ordered and paid for the couch and was told it would be delivered within 2 to 4 weeks since the couch was in stock at the Pennsylvania warehouse. Now 7 weeks out and the couch still hasn't been delivered. For the past 3 weeks I've called and been told it will arrive next week. Same line, week after week, with no actual delivery or follow up from the original sales associate. Will not buy from Ashley again if this is their customer service and poor timing projections.

Indoor experience went well, and the staff was friendly. DJ helped us and was very personable and made us feel confident about our purchases.

I loved my furniture from them! Until the wooden support in the frame gave out and the Cushions did on one of the couches after the warranty was up. I loved my mattress! Till it gave out within its warranty and because there was a stain it’s not covered. You show me a parent that has a bed that doesn’t have at least one stain. Also, if that’s the case, fine! But when someone calls to try and get a mattress covered, have a form so your sales people know what to ask. “Is there a stain?” Should be the first question, at that point null and void give the info there. Don’t make people wait for the warranty people to come out take pictures and measurements that mean absolutely nothing and wastes everyone’s time and then wait another 10 days with no word and have to call the store back to figure out what’s going on with it, to then be told it’s not covered. If you want to have people come back, be upfront! If you have this kind of situation and the customer is frustrated but not belligerent, WORK. WITH. THEM!!! Tell them to come down and we’ll workout a deal for you! Be a sales person! Be the manager of the department and own the issue and offer to help instead of “have a great day”. Want the business! Then maybe your rating and sales will go up.

My fiancé and I went to Ashley’s furniture looking for a couch. We both came in with an idea of what we wanted and had a few options picked out online prior to coming in. We worked with DJ. He was an amazing sales associate to work with. He is kind patient attentive and knowledgeable. He was not pushy and let us browse around until we were set on what we wanted. He had us try a few couches to test the comfort levels that we might or might not like to help narrow down our favorite comfort level. He made the sale process super easy. When we are ready to add more furniture to our home we will be going back to work with him!

Great experience here all around. Daphine really helped me out with her attentive yet low-pressure style. I walked into the Homestore needing to furnish an entire house with furniture, and at no point did I feel like I was being pushed into buying anything-- in fact, Daphine responded exceptionally patiently to my indecisive, flip-flopping decisions on a few pieces. We came in with a notebook full of ideas and Daphine Bratcher asked if she could help. We tested out the living room furniture I found on line. Then she directed us to the bedroom furniture I picked out. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going to fit our new bedroom but Daphine came up with a better idea and we love it. She was very patient and assisted with our measuring process. We never once felt pressured, it was truly an enjoyable experience. What a tremendous asset she is to this store. As an added bonus, she showed us an entertainment center on sale that we purchased. Ashley furniture is great quality, delivery has been scheduled for all pieces.

Daphine was amazing! I came in looking for bedroom sets. I had done some research online already and picked out a few I was interested in. She was able to look at my list and showed me around to see what was on display so that I could get a sense of how they looked in real life. In addition, she was able to show be a few more options on sets, in at the end, I picked one of her recommendations. Also, the mattress, Daphine truly knew about mattresses and helped me picked the right one for me. Overall, she was patient, attentive, listened (and remembered) to everything I decided on, and most of all extremely helpful. Can'[t wait to get my bedroom set!

Michelle was awesome! Very laid back approach and didn't try to "sell us". We came in to look at a dining set but found a deal on a new mattress and foundation that was too good to pass up. Once we decide on the dining set we're sure to buy that here as well!! Thank you for the top notch professionalism. Also want to note that the manager called us to confirm and make sure (before delivery) we knew the deal we got was a final sale. We did understand that, but absolutely appreciate the call to ensure our satisfaction.

I went to the Ashley Furniture store in Williston after unsuccessful attempts at other furniture stores. I needed a recliner for recovery from a major surgery so it was urgent in nature. I was met by Daphine and not only did she find me the perfect recliner she was able to get approval from the manager for me to get a floor model and take it home immediately! Ordered a couch last month and was told we would get it mid December the latest. We checked in a week later and was told end of November. That didn’t happen so we called again, was told beginning to mid December. I called today to check in and we are now being told “hopefully before Christmas” and that it’s not even being shipped until mid December if all goes well. Lie after lie just to get a purchase from us, not to mention all the purchases we’ve made at this store and have been patient every time. Well no more!

Recently purchased a couch and was told they can do financing for it like a car. Found out later that they sell this to you when they are actually selling you their credit card and give no knowledge of this! I do not need more credit cards. Do not buy from this store, unprofessional and scam artists.

This is the worst store EVER!!!!!!! They will lie to you about delivery then lie again then again. You will spend months trying to get your merchandise.

Very disappointed with the service here. I stopped in with a friend to look at a mattress, but found a recliner that I really liked. I asked about free delivery and was told yes that I lived in the mileage range. I went home to talk to my husband, and when I called back the next day to make the purchase, they had conveniently forgotten our conversation and told me that the delivery would be $299. Poor customer service.

Staff was great and helpful (Michelle) and Trish was forgiving and understanding when we were a little delayed in arranging the delivery due to construction issues. Finally, the two delivery people were outstanding! Careful, complimentary and sincere in wanting my furniture to be delivered without damage and set up where and how I wanted it. I’ve had a broken couch for over 6 months now and I have the paid warranty so it should be fixed. Excuse after excuse as to why it’s not repaired yet and title to no communication from the warranty company or Ashley’s. The staff in the store has been rude and inconsiderate about our situation, the couch isn’t even a year old and not usable. Absolutely disgusted with the service

We had a great experience here with the sales staff picking out a new couch. They were friendly, attentive and not at all pushy. Our couch was delivered even earlier than expected, we got a sizeable discount from floor price, and even the delivery guys were good-humored and efficient.

The front manager she is soooo rude I just visited there on 25 june 2022 just to know about my bed frame because it’s already 6 month I already paid in advance on 8th January 2022 in this period they only send me 2 emails because i send them email about any updates ,6 month waiting is too much.Ashley furniture I’m not rich I’m working on daily basis to buy food to me and my family ,i just asking her how long it’s gonna take ,she arrogantly replied me lot of people are waiting since more than 1 year,than I requested her my money back because the way she was talking it’s so hurtful because she talking like I’m asking something for free. We had the pleasure of working with Adam when we were purchasing our couch and coffee table. He was knowledgeable, non-hovering, and kept us up to date with our order. He even squeezed in our delivery the day before when they were booked out.

My husband and I went to purchase a mattress. We wanted an option that was IN STOCK so we could bring it home that afternoon as we live over an hour away. After we paid for our mattress and were ready to go pick it up from the warehouse we were told "all of the warehouse staff were out sick" and "no one was there to help us get our mattress". Our sales woman suddenly remembered this only after we paid, of course. We ended up cancelling our order, and ordered the product from their online store for several hundred dollars cheaper, and free delivery. Slimey.

I like this place staff are friendly the place clean. And has a lot of selection of very good and affordable furnitures I would recommend it.

We bought a sectional which we loved but had slight damage when it was delivered. Ashley personnel quickly took care of our problem and sent out a very cordial and highly professional to rectify the problem and fixed the sectional to our satisfaction. We want to thank Ashley's staff and Albert Duchaine. Would recommend shopping for furniture at Ashley's to everyone They stand behind their furniture!

Niceaffordable furniture store with lots of inventory.

I purchased a couch from this company and paid a $150 delivery fee. Upon it being delivered I decided it was far too large for my space. I was incorrectly informed by the delivery guys that there was not a return policy otherwise I would have had it removed that day. After a few days of just hating said couch I called the store and was told there was a 48 hour return time of which I barely made. I went to the store to pick out a different couch and made a pretty impulsive choice due to the time frame and was told I can return the couch and they will just swap it out when the new one comes in for just another $150 delivery charge. After mulling it over I decided I didn’t want to make another impulse choice and asked if they could just pick up the old couch for the $150 delivery fee. I was told yes on the phone then was sent an email shortly after about a 10%-50% restocking fee. 10% was the minimum. This charge was going to be waived when I was going to buy a new one but because I wanted to take my time this fee would not be waived. This is bad business. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from this company.

Customer service is a practical joke with this outfit. What started out as a exciting prospect of getting a new sofa back in April turned into 5 months of dishonesty and empty promises. An eely sales person with a poussulanimous manager is their recipe for a terrible buying experience. I don't usually disparage businesses. This clown show is well-deserving. I believe they actually believe their own lies. Stay away from this place. My family and friends have bought a lot of furniture here over the years. NO MORE! Shameful lot.

We purchased the Sealy mattress for almost 3K and the adjustable base from Ashley Home Store (July 18th). The delivery was both timely and professional. The 90 day guarantee to find the correct level of firmness/softness (in a new mattress) places our minds at ease. Debby is wonderful to work with and very courteous. What we eventually decided was to invest 4K in a Sterns & Foster mattress (10-year warranty). We've received the exchange from Sealy to the Sterns & Foster. The Sealy mattress was simply too firm for us ... what we needed was the plush (softer) mattress. After sleeping on the Sterns & Foster for approximately 2 weeks, it's exactly what we were looking for... A restful sleep that feels like we're in a cloud or sleeping on a big marshmallow. We are extremely happy with the Sterns & Foster! Thank you, Debby! 😁

Hit or miss. Good selection of furniture with good sales. Would never pay full price for anything. Sales associates are hit or miss as well. Delivery drivers are rude and make snide comments about current furniture, furniture being delivered or home. Couch we ordered from them is great,bed set is cheap and handles are unfortunately plastic so we'll be upgrading those ourselves.

They didn't have what we were looking for. They were nice enough about it. I'm happy that we found what we were looking for at the local retailers.

I bought a sofa from Ashley's about 6 months ago. The 2 particle board supports holding the seat to the frame have both broken off. If you are looking for low cost furniture that lasts 6 months or so this place is for you.

Absolutely terrible experience today on Christmas Eve. Ordered a twin bed for my son when they deliver the bed they are supposed to install it as well. They left it on the front porch and did not install it. They also did not have any of the bed hardware in the box so I could do it myself! For FOUR hours I was trying to get the hardware to my house the person who answered the phone “couldn’t get a hold of the drivers and they we’re probably done for the day” ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE! Merry Christmas Ashley Homestore!!!

We experienced really great service. I went to four different stores looking for a couch. what I really enjoyed about this place was that the sales staff actually paid attention to you and made sure that your entire visit was assisted. Never did I feel like I was not paid attention to.

My sister was the customer. I was just a witness. My sis told the sales woman exactly what kind of sofa she was looking for. Based on the woman's questions, she didn't listen to my sister's request. As a former salesperson, I left the store immediately. I didn't want to ruin the experience for my sister just because I didn't like what I saw and heard. If you work on commission, "listen to the customer".

Make sure you ask a lot of questions about the insurance policy. My idea of exceptional customer service is working with the customer to find a solution, not cutting a check and calling it a done deal. Maybe take notes from Wayfair’s customer service?

Pricing out a love seat.

This store is nothing but a JOKE, Customer service goes a LONG ways. The manager who runs this store is so rude! How dare she speak the us customers the way she does. She said and I quote "I am done with you people, I cannot make you happy". She said this AFTER the WRONG furniture was delivered and the prior couch was wearing after only a couple months of owning. The manager needs to keep In mind that the only thing that keeps the store running is the CUSTOMERS. And without them, their would be no "Ashley Homestore". My Family will NOT be shopping with you folks again, after spending thousands of dollars there, I will NOT be referring my friends or family, and Ill be sure to tell all that I know about the LESS than POOR service I received.

Compared to most of the places in the Burlington area you can always find stuff in your price range. Friendly sales people and non pushy attitude. Got a great price on a leather powered loveseat with center console. Very happy.

Great service from Michelle! Purchased my very first new living room furniture!

After buying our sectional nearly 2 year ago I wondered if we really "needed" the warranty that we bought with our large three piece sectional. While we have been really happy with the piece itself, turns out, we did after an issue with the frame separating made part of the sectional unusable. I assumed making a claim would be an unbearable process and that our issue probably wouldn't be covered anyhow; as it is often difficult in my experience with such warranties. However I was COMPLETELY wrong. A quick phone call to the store got me connected to the warranty claim folks, who then had a tech scheduled to be in our home less than a week later. Jeremy was professional, efficient, kind, and fixed our issue and a busted zipper (thanks to our dryer) in no time. This process absolutely will make us return customers and was a 10/10.

Store manager Trish was very kind and patient, especially when there was an issue creating our store credit application and communicating with the bank. It’s really nice to find this type of commitment to service and customer care!

Selection and service have gone drastically down hill. Absolutely no quality mattresses to speak of, and the sales staff are way too pushy. Consider a trip down the hill to the SuperStore.

Failed to disclose that by buying a Tempurpedic mattress through them the 100 nite sleep trial is no longer in effect. And the $350 recliner lasted almost exactly the one year warranty length before becoming unstitched.

The WORST customer service I've ever received in my life. They waited until right after my payment was processed to tell me I couldn't get my couch IN SIX WEEKS when I needed it by. (Which I told them when I purchased it- they said "not a problem".). I then got upset (no bad words were used, but I was clearly disappointed....as I should have been), and the so called "General Manager" of the Williston store basically didn't like me being upset so she HUNG UP on me and didn't offer one word of apology. So I said I'd cancel the order, and she said that takes 5-7 days ! LOL In summary, it worked out for the better because I got a Lane couch at Big Lots for less money, it's nicer, and they will deliver in 4 days!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS , if you value customer service. How does someone become a "General Manager" who can't handle a customer complaint without hanging up on them???? They should fire her and find someone who knows what customer SERVICE is.

We bought patio furniture at the end of summer in 2018, and come spring 2019, despite the furniture being in storage (as recommended), the furniture split in several spots. I contacted the store, and corporate response was that the furniture split due to moisture. So now I am stuck with furniture that will just split more and more. It is disappointing that corporate would allow furniture that would split given they are aware of the weather in Vermont.

Visited the store during their "Black Friday" sale to look at bedroom sets. Met with Doug who was very helpful in answering my questions. He was never pushy to make a sale and was happy to spend the time explaining some different options. I have purchased here before with a good experience and it was no different this time. Prices are competitive with other local furniture stores. I'll return here again the next time I am in the market.

Bought a couch there. Found the employees to be quite friendly, yet not pushy or pressuring me to buy anything. Worked well with me to coordinate a complicated delivery, calling my cell with changes and updates. Good selection of furniture too.

We came here for a couch after having difficulty with a 3rd party warranty. The general manager, Tricia was an angel! She helped us find a couch that would fit our family's needs, and that was in stock. We ended up splurging and getting a few additional items due to the high quality, great pricing and salesmanship. It was a joy bringing our business here and we will be back.

Extremely RUDE delivery person. One of the delivery men swore in our living room to my wife and grabbed the old chair that we PAID to have removed (as we BOUGHT a new one from them). I think he was lucky I was at work or I'd have thrown him out. Will NEVER again shop there.

At first we thought it was good service. Salesman worked with us and talked about free delivery. We picked out the two bedroom sets that we wanted with mattresses and everything. The salesman disappeared for awhile to "crunch the numbers" and saw that we went over the credit limit on our account. He changed the headboard and nitestand without telling us to one that was a lesser price but matched so that he wouldn't lose that part of the sale if we decided not to get the second set. After we received the set we called about the incorrect pieces and were told " oh, I thought you had decided against that one , it's $300 more with the extra things needed for attachment and now you need to pay shipping" He was worried about his commission and getting us to spend as much as we could. I'll be shopping elsewhere and telling others to do so.

Clean store and nice displays. Really kill you on the at home delivery, if they deliver the wrong furniture or are missing a piece they charge you again for shipping it back to the warehouse. And charge you full shipping price for the missing piece.

My wife and recently purchased bed set with Ashley Furniture in Williston. Our salesman, Doug, went above and beyond to help us meet our needs, we couldn’t have been more satisfied woth his service.

Great place to shop for home furnishings. Just purchased our second living room set from Ashley, couch,loveseat,recliner,2 end tables and a coffee table. First set had lasted 13 years. It was time! Also had purchased a bedroom set 2 years ago from the same store. We keep going back because the staff is awesome. They don't push you into making a purchase and they are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and offer great financing options. Could not ask for a better place or people!

Great, friendly and non-pushy staff. Delivery brought us the wrong chairs but quickly rectified it the same day even though we live 40 minutes one way from the warehouse. They were not upset and very friendly. I definitely recommend them.

I didn't buy anything but I felt like the staff was a little too pushy...I get they probably make commission but I had to tell them about 5 times I was just looking.

For months my husband and I shopped around for a reasonably priced bed frame and 2 matching nightstands. even though Ashley's ended up being the most reasonable for price it took over a month to get the product to our house with no mistakes or pieces being broken, and we're still not very impressed by the product. We will be keeping it as it does it's job, but are disappointed.

Ashely Furniture is best among other furniture stores in Vermont since there are no big furniture stores like Bob's and Jordan in Vermont . You get nice options to choose and prices are affordable

My boyfriend and I (late 20s/early 30s) were on the hunt for a sofa/love seat set for our new condo. We went to a few other local stores and has less than standard service. Some seeming to judge us based on our age - like we didn't have money to spend. Then we stopped in at Ashley Furniture. We were greeted by Deb, who was wonderful and warm. She was very helpful but also let us browse around on our own. She helped us get a great deal on a sectional and love seat set and did everything she could to make sure we were happy and receiving just what we wanted. We bought the set and left with a good feeling from the place we bought it from - plus the prices were right! (And we weren't directed immediately to the clearance section, like at some other places) We will return here to buy any additional furniture we'll need and hopefully work with Deb again. I would recommend!

Ashley Furniture in Williston; What a lousy experience!!! I found a chair that I wanted, right materials, comfortable, price was a bit high but acceptable. I go to close the deal and my wallet is out. The saleswoman then tires to sell me the extended special super duper warranty for a few extra bucks that will be good for 3 years. I politely refuse this, telling her that I will go with the standard 1-year warranty that she spend several minutes telling me about while I was trying out the chair. Suddenly the woman says, “Oh, and since you’re buying the floor model, we can’t take it back for any reason.” I said to her, but “I assume that the manufacturer’s warranty still applies, remember you just moments ago offered to sell me the extended warranty.” She gets a confused look in her eye and confirms with her counterpart that: no, I would get no warranty for buying off the floor. But that I could order the chair for the full price and take delivery of a chair that I did not get to try out. They loose the sale and I walk, SCREW YOU ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!
