Hesitant to go into this store but did and found a beautiful sofa we wanted to buy. Was quoted a price and as soon as the ticket was going to be written up was told I could not buy the sofa without buying the loveseat even though there was nothing on the sofa saying that it had to be sold as a set. I've always been a Grand shopper and now I know why.

Over the weekend my wife and I visited the Ashley Outlet just to look around. When we entered all of the sales associates where assisting other customers, so we had time to look around. After Tanner finished with his customers, he greeted us very polite and professional. Because of Tanner we went from just looking to making over a three thousand dollar purchase. His knowledge of the merchandise was great and his customer service skills matched. Businesses need more Tanners.

Rodney Cooper, the store manager of the Ashley's OUTLET store in Roanoke Virginia, is nothing short of an absolute hero! Please imagine, You're on your third and final day of moving your feeble 91 year old Grandfather into an assisted living and both of you are exhausted, emotionally drained, and desperate to reach the finish line. The last item on the to-do list is grandfather's beautiful new furniture from the Ashley's home store in Roanoke; most importantly, his brand new bed! The furniture arrives and everything is absolutely gorgeous! You are so happy and relieved; welcome to the finish line! BUT, because life is life, You are then informed that the slats to hold up the mattress were not ordered or delivered. Sheer panic, You are in tears at this point. Your grandfather has nowhere to sleep! It is almost 7: 00pm on a Saturday night. Everyone is scrambling. Ashley's home store does not have the slats in stock. At this point you are forced to beg for help. And then, an absolute miracle happens. Rodney Cooper, a literal store manager from an entirely separate store, comes swooping in to save the day! Rodney not only brought multiple pairs of slats to try but, then when nothing fit.... He drove all over town to get a saw and a drill to literally HAND MAKE the slats to size. Please keep in mind, this is all AFTER hours on a Saturday night! Unbelievable! Any other human would have showed up frustrated but this man showed up with nothing but kindness, excellent customer service, and focus on the mission at hand! I personally watched this man in the dark, get down on his hands and knees and drill holes in the slats in a parking lot. Because of Rodney, my grandfather had a place to lay his head to rest, his loved ones finally felt comfort that he was safe and sound at his new assisted living home, and he helped all of us turn the page into a new chapter of our lives. Furniture is more than just furniture and Rodney knows this. Ashley's Furniture knows this. Rodney put his heart and soul into those slats for my grandfather and I can't thank him enough. This is the probably last bed that grandfather will sleep in and it needed to be perfect. Rodney made it perfect! Thank you Rodney and thank you Ashley's furniture. You are what makes a house a home. A picture is worth a thousand words.... Look at this handsome and happy man. He told me the next day that he slept like a rock!

i would like to give this zero stars because they suck. i have been without a dresser for 5 months now and my clothes have just been laying on the floor of my room. i ordered a dresser from them a month ago. they told me the eta would be december 23rd which is already a red flag because i shouldn’t have had to wait that long anyways. they called me tonight, 9 pm december 22 to tell me that i had to wait another 2 weeks for it to come. first of all why are you telling me the night before. second of all you guys suck and i’ll never order from you again and i hope no one else does. DO BETTER I CANT BELEIVE THIS. ITS CHRISTMAS AND YOU SHOULD BE SPREADING CHEER BUT UOU DECIDED TO BE JERKS

I was shopping for my sister who is disabled and had gone to the Home store first ,however, I went to the outlet store. From start to completed sale, my experience was absolutely awesome. Mr. Larry assisted me with every detail and was able to find the entire set at a wonderful rate. Mr James assisted also in looking for a bed and mirror to match. Then I was introduced to Ms.Tijuana and Ms. Deyerle and who took it the rest of the way. Everyone in the store was just delightful and helpful. 5 stars doesn’t even come close to my experience. I was absolutely over the moon with my experience at this Ashley outlet store. As a young, first-time home buyer - Larry and Vicki treated me like gold. Larry wasn’t pushy at ALL and let my family and I look around the store. Whenever we needed assistance (which was often) - he was THERE - and so was Vicki. They worked with me to literally furnish my entire new townhome and I couldn’t be happier and more excited to move in now that they helped me with the most beautiful furniture. Ended up finding a bed, bedroom set (dresser, chest of drawers, nightstand) mattress, couch, huge accent chair, oversized rug, 2 end tables, tv stand, and a kitchen table and chairs. I could NOT recommend this store more (only 3 years old) - as they have the BEST furniture options for the BEST prices and make the experience great. The entire staff (even Little in the back) was amazing. They’re delivering my furniture soon (for a flat rate) and I couldn’t be more excited. Go see Larry, Vicki, and the team!!!! I arrived at Ashley's with my trunk on my lunch break, looking to get 2 critical pieces. My main couch and a mattress. I was greeted promptly by Vicky and we looked over a few couches and I was trying to decided between 2. Vicky was able to help me weigh the 2 choices and I am so thrilled with the one I picked. It then took us about 5 minutes to find a mattress knce I told her my price range and preference. The gentleman who does the hauling was very helpful and got my stuff loaded while we quickly finalized the purchase. I basically did all of my heavy furniture shopping in50 minutes and I'm so happy with what I got. I would recommend anyone stopping in at anytime because they have bmgreat pieces and pricing.

He answered all questions regarding the furniture color, size, shipping, etc; he even suggested how he would customize the furniture once I explained the layout of my home. Edited to 0 stars to the Ashley outlet in Roanoke. I priced everything online with a total of 1,439.99, she priced me at 1,599.99. They had the table and chairs listed at 1,699.99. This was including their Presidents’ Day sale! If people due diligence and hold people accountable for actually taking more money out of their pockets. If you enjoy that then Ashley furniture is for you! For this reason I will not support Ashley furniture stores anymore. I’ve purchased a lot of furniture from Ashley throughout my life.

Tijuana and Larry gave the best customer service possible , they went out of their way to figure out our needs and solve the situation at hand, I left today with not only a mattress but a box spring and will be back to get more.

These guys and gals are amazing. I stopped by today just looking. What I enjoyed was I was greeted at the door. But they do not follow you around whole store or bug you ever 5 mins. Salesman did come back and check but was not worry some like other local stores. They were extremely nice helped me load furniture and guy loading was extra careful with furniture. He also made sure I was able to take everything home in 1 trip. I definitely will be going back here to pick up things for my home.

We went in yesterday to find the perfect chest of drawers and we found it there! Very good price! High quality and it matches our mirror perfectly! Vicki was a huge help! Came in on a Sunday looking for a sofa and kitchen table and the salesman Ian greeted my friend and I at the door immediately. Ian was so nice and very accommodating! My wife and I were in Roanoke moving our daughter in to here College room and we decided to stop by this store. We received great service from our Sales Rep and the Manager. Made arrangement to ship the furniture to our over 3 hours away (Note: we just happened to be close to one of their sister stores). Also have had the chance to work with another Manager, Vicki, who also great in her attitude and professionalism in helping us resolve an unforeseen issue that arose. The prices are the same as in the actual store!! When u are "Outlet" shopping typically you are expecting a significant cut in price as things have either been returned or are deemed to be "scratch and dent" . That is not the case here..unbeknownst to me the price of what I was purchasing was the same price as in the retail store and I was only offered a miniscule discount AFTER I asked..Had I not gone into the retail store before making the purchase at the Outlet Store I would have thought I was getting a deal..So for me there was no value in buying furniture with obvious defects in it for the same price as one no had ever touched..wow Ashley Furniture what a way to bamboozle your customers..The only benefit to shopping there is that u don't have to wait 2 -8 weeks to get your furniture u can take it immediately or get it delivered sooner..

Julie and Jim were quick to answer all of my questions during the sale and both were extremely professional and polite. Both Julie and Vickie were very helpful in explaining the delivery service offered by Ashley Outlet and Emily in delivery was able to help set up my delivery effective immediately. Bought a bookshelf today after searching for a good quality one for months at other retailers. The price was negotiable on top of being already discounted and we were able to get our bookshelf for 50% off! Jim did a great job helping us. He greeted us when we came in and checked in on us a few times but we never felt pressured like we have at other stores. We'll definitely be back.

Had a very positive experience here! We stopped by multiple times before making a purchase, and each time appreciated the friendly, laid-back vibe. They've also got a surprising selection, all at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend the outlet over the regular home store. At the main home store we felt a lot of pressure to make a purchase from the salespeople and had a hard time finding something affordable. Meanwhile the outlet was much more casual/friendly, letting us look around multiple times without any pressure to make a purchase. All with better prices and a very similar selection! They have a very nice assortment and quality of furniture at a great price. First time going inside and I was not disappointed. Great customer service and they stayed after hours to help us get our furniture disassembled and loaded. The only one thing that you have to be aware of is that the sale is final and since it's an outlet store some furniture can be damaged. I was so pleased with my experience. From the door to the register I received outstanding customer service. I had gone to the main Ashley store days before and the atmosphere was completely different and they didn’t even let me know about the clearance store as an option which was disappointing. I purchased many items and I am in love with each piece. My associate was helpful but not overbearing. I will definitely shop there for any other furniture needs!!!

There is a lot of furniture in this clearance store, however, I was surprised at how much they are still asking for these pieces of furniture, many with scratches, drawers that don't properly open and close. Very disappointed in what I saw here.
