We had such a wonderful experience at Ashley Furniture at the Outlet Collection in Auburn, WA. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Tiana was incredibly down-to-earth, personable, and genuinely interested in helping us bring our ideas to life. She made the entire furniture-buying process feel remarkable, memorable, and truly homely, like we were designing a space that reflects our family and the life we are building. What stood out the most was how listened to we felt. Tiana guided us with so much kindness and patience as we explored different options for our home. She never rushed us and took the time to understand our vision, helping us piece together furniture that would make our home feel warm and inviting. You can truly tell that she is an interior designer at heart. She has a natural eye for how spaces come together and helped us imagine how everything would flow in our home. Her creativity and thoughtful suggestions made the process not just about buying furniture, but about creating a beautiful living space. Tiana truly has a beautiful soul. Her calm presence, patience, and genuine kindness made the entire experience feel special. Choosing furniture can sometimes feel overwhelming, but she made it smooth, joyful, and meaningful as we prepared to bring these pieces into our home. Thank you, Tiana, for making this experience so memorable. Ashley Furniture is lucky to have someone like you representing them.

Just walking in to the store, Carlos immediately asked me what I was looking for and guided us where I needed to be, left us alone and that let him know when we were ready. Carlos was young but very professional. Not pushy, also gave me a very nice discount.

Carlos was very helpful when we walked in. He immediately took interest in what we wanted to find. He also just let us wonder about to give us some privacy to consult with each other. Then he took us over to his big screen computer to show us what’s available in store and online. We end up buying the floor models which are still in great shape and at a lower price and we also bought a bench on line to be picked up down the street from my new house. Great job Carlos and still want the big screen computer.

Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Victor walked me around and gave suggestions where I appeared undecided. Great experience.

I visited Ashley Furniture with my wife because we were planning to purchase a dining table, and the experience we had with the salesperson, Brandyn Ward, was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. From the start, my wife explained what we were looking for and how we planned to purchase, but instead of helping us or answering our questions, Brandyn immediately told us to get qualified and directed us to fill out the application on the computer. He did not try to show us options or even look at the table we were interested in. It felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. My wife asked him about financing options because during a previous visit another salesperson, Carlos, had explained that there were multiple financing options, including one that did not require running traditional credit. When she asked about it, Brandyn dismissed her and said, “Financing is always credit,” in a way that sounded rude and condescending instead of helpful. He also said that he knew more than Carlos and suggested that he was the best at what he does, but he was not willing to actually help us. At that point, we decided we would rather come back when Carlos was working since he had been helpful and respectful before. When my wife explained that she felt more comfortable working with Carlos, Brandyn responded in a passive-aggressive way saying, “Oh, so you don’t feel helped out? Well, have a good day. Bye,” and walked away. As we were leaving, he went behind the counter and started talking to another employee and said, “Oh my gosh, these people,” which was very unprofessional. My wife told him it was inappropriate to talk about customers that way. As we were walking out, I accidentally bumped into a chair and it fell over. It was clearly an accident. Brandyn then yelled at me aggressively to pick up the chair and I responded by saying “or not” and we continued walking out. After that, Brandyn falsely accused me of threatening him and claimed that I said “I’m going to kill you,” which is completely untrue. I never said anything like that. I do not understand how he went from me saying “or not” to accusing me of making a serious threat. My wife told him to check the cameras, but he said there were no cameras in the store, which seemed unlikely. Throughout the interaction, Brandyn acted like he was very comfortable and confident that nothing would happen to him even if we complained. He gave us his manager’s name without any concern and acted like it did not matter what we did. It felt like he believed he could treat customers however he wanted. The situation made us both feel uncomfortable and honestly judged based on our appearance. It felt like we were treated as if we were not capable of making a purchase, even though we came in ready to buy furniture. When my wife asked for a manager’s contact information, the other employee present did not try to help and instead sided with him. This was a very upsetting experience. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. We came in ready to make a purchase and instead were treated poorly and kicked out of the store. I hope management takes this situation seriously so no other customers have to go through this.

I visited Ashley Furniture to purchase a dining table and unfortunately had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with the salesperson, Brandyn Ward. From the beginning, I explained what I was planning to purchase and the process I wanted to follow, but instead of helping or answering questions, he immediately told me to “just get qualified” and directed me to fill out the application on the computer. He did not even try to look at the table I wanted or guide us through options. It felt like we were an inconvenience for showing up. I asked him about the financing options because during a previous visit another representative, Carlos, had explained that there were multiple financing choices, including one in-store option that did not require running traditional credit. When I asked Brandyn about this, he dismissed my question and responded, “Financing is always credit.” The way he said it made me feel like he was treating me as if I were stupid instead of taking the time to explain the options. He also stated that he knew more than Carlos and suggested that he was the best at what he does, which made his lack of willingness to help even more frustrating. That was the point where I decided I would rather come back when Carlos was working, since he actually took the time to help and explain things instead of brushing us off. When I mentioned Carlos’s name, Brandyn responded in a belittling tone saying, “Oh Carlos, yeah he’s a good guy,” and seemed annoyed that I preferred to work with him. When I explained that I felt more comfortable returning when Carlos was there, Brandyn looked directly at me and said in a passive-aggressive tone, “Oh, so you don’t feel helped out? Well, have a good day. Bye.” He then walked away abruptly. As we were leaving, he went behind the counter and began talking to another employee, Emma C., saying “Oh my gosh, these people,” which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I turned around and told him it was inappropriate to talk about customers that way simply because I said I did not feel helped. On our way out, my husband accidentally bumped into a chair and it fell. Brandyn then yelled at my husband to pick up the chair and told us to get out of the store. My husband responded by saying “or not” as we continued to walk out. After that, Brandyn falsely accused my husband of threatening him and claimed that my husband said, “I’m going to kill you,” which never happened. I do not understand how he went from my husband saying “or not” to accusing him of making a serious threat. I told him to check the store cameras, but he responded that there were no cameras in the store, which I found hard to believe. Throughout the interaction, Brandyn came across as if everyone there knew him and that nothing would happen to him even if I made a complaint. He gave me his manager’s name with an attitude that made it seem like he was not concerned at all about his behavior or any consequences. It felt like he believed nothing would happen to him no matter how he treated customers. I felt extremely uncomfortable and honestly profiled during this visit. It felt like we were judged based on our appearance and treated as if we were not capable of making a purchase. Just because customers may not look a certain way does not mean they should be treated with respect and professionalism. When I asked for a manager’s contact information so I could report the situation, the other employee present did not try to help and instead sided with him. This experience was upsetting and unprofessional from start to finish. Customers deserve respect and proper assistance regardless of how they look. We came in ready to make a purchase and instead were treated poorly and ultimately kicked out of the store. I hope management takes this situation seriously so other customers do not have to go through the same experience.
