Two years ago I went to buy my bedroom set and Scott helped me. Today, I went again for a modular couch and Scott was there again very friendly and knowledgeable as usual. A 3 star only as unlike othe furniture stores in my area you cannot return anything once delivered and accepted. It can take 24 hours at least to know if furniture is a good fit. Im not certain I would risk it again with Ashley.
High quality items, but in store items had mislabeled pricing off by a few hundred dollars, and an item quoted at 2 weeks took over 2 months to arrive. Didn't bother to tell me it was back ordered until I called to see where it was
All the workers in the physical store were absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful, as were our delivery drivers. The customer service phone that you have to use for the delivery however was absolutely dreadful. Worst experience with customer service care I have ever had. They kept changing our confirmed delivery dates multiple times with no notice or care about our availability and the person on the phone was horribly rude and should not be in customer service.

My husband and I had a really wonderful shopping experience. Both Ayden and Scott were attentive and listened to our preferences for a new couch, and gave us space to walk around on our own. They were very knowledgeable about their inventory and answered our questions. By the time we had left with receipts in hand, we felt very confident with our purchase and experience!

I was sold a defective couch and when I exchanged it for a different couch which was 1k cheaper, I was charged over 500$ for delivery fees. I exchanged a defective couch for a couch which was over 1K cheaper and save 200$ due to delivery fees though at the time of sale I was promised easy exchange from anything from whether the couch was defective to if it fit the style of the house. The minute it gets dropped off, you own it. Nothing like what the sales pitch is. I was told I owed the delivery fee due to the amount of time the defective furniture was inside my house which was under a week. The delivery team post poned the pick up over a week due to availability and I was charged for it.

I have been needing new living room furniture for years and today walked into Ashley furniture at Bellis Fair mall and was immediately helped by Scott Green! He explained everything I needed to know to look at all my options and left me to find my perfect sofa set! There was no full court press to buy anything and I felt free to wander the store on my own, but knew that Scott was there if I had questions! Once my choice of sofa set was identified it was an easy process to purchase and set up a delivery! Scott was very professional and knowledgeable and made the process a breeze! I had such a great experience at this location recently! I came in with my three year-old to buy a bunkbed, and Scott made everything so simple and straightforward. We were in and out in 20 minutes. He explained everything thoroughly, and got me a good deal on the bed as well, and I felt great about my purchase. A week later, the bed was delivered and put together in my kids’ room just as they said it would be. A smooth and pleasant shopping experience overall—which is saying something these days!

We worked with Scott to find a couch. Initially we just walked in to browse and look at prices. We left and then returned within the hour because we appteciated the service we had received so far. Scott was extremely informative but did not push any sales on us and left us alone to test couches and offered assistance when we had questions. The store delivered a cheap cot instead of a bed that I ordered. I was very disappointed and had to go to another store to get a decent bed.
The staff at the Bellingham store are very friendly and helpful. That said, the delivery process is an absolute nightmare that I would avoid at all costs. Maybe if you can pickup the furniture yourself, it would be a better experience. For me getting a bed frame delivered, it turned into a month long stressful nightmare, wasting countless weekends and hours trying to resolve, which has left me wary of ever getting furniture delivered again.

My partner and I bought a sofa from Ashley today. It was our first time in an Ashley store and had a lovely experience. Krystal greeted us when we came in and explained the layout of the store as well as the current sales and then let us look around at our leisure. All of the staff were friendly without being pushy. We found a perfect sofa for our needs and budget. Krystal also did a really great job explaining the company's policies and procedures regarding deliveries, returns, and purchases so we were able to make informed decisions. There's a nice range in terms of price and style of the furniture so we had several options at our price point. Buying furniture is usually super stressful but our experience today was relaxed and pleasant.

We purchased some furniture from Ashley in Bellingham last month. There were delays to the shipment that were frustrating, but Ayden, our salesman, (reviewed earlier)referred us to their newly hired office manager to sort it out. This review is about Misty Robinson, the office manager. We were less than happy when we came in to see Misty due to delayed shipments. She was professional, extremely understanding, and completely upbeat and determined to make things work out for us. Despite her being new, she was able to work through shipping and supply chain difficulties to get us exactly what we wanted in a timely manner, and she saved us a ton of money! She kept a positive perspective even when we didn't... and kept us informed about every detail of our purchase. As retired professionals from the business sector, we have worked with many talented young people and can say unreservedly that Misty Robinson is a rising star! We love our new furniture and would recommend Ashley's products, staff, and great service!
We purchased some living room furniture in March, 2024. Our salesman, Ayden Medina was personable, helpful and took all of the time we required to answer our questions and help us make the right choice. Through no fault of his own, there were delays to the shipment that were frustrating, but Ayden did his best to keep us in the loop and to make sure we got what we needed. If you should visit Ashley in Bellingham, be sure to ask for Ayden, he's great!

Against all my better judgement, and because we have so limited furniture options in Bellingham, we went to Ashley. Our previous experience years ago was horrendous, but we had tried ordering from a very popular online company for a new couch and were disappointed with what we got. We showed up to look and met Scott who was helpful and not intrusive into our search through the store. I think we got lucky to have Scott help us. He was honest and gave me straight answers. We were between two options and he printed us out the details and quotes to take home. After calling him back and a little negotiation based on our last experience we had a deal and it was just a matter of seeing if we could get it all delivered properly and on time. Delivery was seamless and we are so happy with our decision. Thanks to Scott for making this work!
My name is June and I had one of the most unpleasant and uncomfortable experiences during a shopping trip at this Ashley Furniture🙄🙄. PROS: The staff was knowledgeable about the products and answered any questions I had, while also not hounding me as I shopped around. CONS: The issue for me came from the female store manager. She was giving me contradicting information that staff had to correct her on multiple times. I asked my sales person if she was new and they said she was new to the Bellingham store but had worked for Ashley prior! It did not show at all! Staff looked irritated and uncomfortable when she would try to approach the conversation I had with my sales person. I wish I could have ordered the furniture I needed there, but with the lack of straight answers, I’d rather proceed with caution and go elsewhere. If they can figure out their situation I’d love to go back because it felt like the sales person genuinely wanted to help but was dealt a bad hand. Proceed with caution UPDATE: I contacted the store and asked for the name of the manager. Crystal needs to work on her management skills, I can imagine a lot of customers have irritating experiences with her.

Ashley was excellent to work with. I found the furniture I wanted online. It said there was some at the local store to see so i visited the store. I did have to find it myself as I had not written down enough info, but the salesman was kind and no high pressure. He answered all my questions well so when I decided to buy several days later and called the store they said they would make sure HE would get the commission. I chose a delivery date and was updated well and confirmed. They were on time within the window. Took care to unwrap and get into the house carefully and set where I wanted. Furniture was in perfect condition and I liked it even more than in the showroom. Good pricing too,

I just made my third purchase here. Costumer service has always been friendly and not pushy. Setting up delivery is done at the store and is easy/convenient, you get flexibility on the day they deliver on as well.

Initial purchase of mattress, base, and pillows went smoothly. Employees were kind, but not super knowledgeable about the mattress we were buying. Both my husband and I double checked with saleswoman that we could return the pillows if needed (since they were pretty expensive ~190) and she assured us we could. We even asked if we should purchase directly through the manufacturer for the pillows separately just in case and were told it would be fine and we didn’t need to. Went in a day after delivery to exchange one pillow for the correct height and the manager and same saleswoman told us it wasn’t possible and that they were not able to return them. Manager didn’t seem to care, gave a few smug apologies and said there was nothing they could do and saleswoman said she “didn’t know” and shrugged it off. Poor customer service for an 8k purchase. Won’t be ordering here again.

Day before arrival i received an email they entered my phone number wrong so I called and gave them the correct number. The day my bed was supposed to arrive I call and they say my order has been canceled because my phone number is incorrect, but they can get to me on Sunday. Annoyed but what choice do I have. On Sunday, I found out through an automated message that my order has been once again canceled and rescheduled two weeks out. The week its supposed to arrive they tell me through email there's a manufacturing delay.... how does that even work? Were the first 2 cancellations a lie then? I canceled out of principle. The way they handled the delays and just the way they informed or didn't inform me was truly unprofessional. I get a call after I cancelled, I have nothing to say to them. They don't deserve my money and it left a bad taste in my mouth. It was for an 800$ bed. I bought one online for a third the price online.

I purchased 3 end tables. The sales person stated I would only need to assemble the doors. When it was delivered it was COMPLETELY UNASSEMBLED. I talked to the manager twice who admitted they gave me incorrect information but REFUSED TO MAKE IT RIGHT! When I asked why he is refusing to make this right it was met with silence!!! I called corporate. They transferred me to three different dept and finally just put me on hold and never came back!!! That’s how they deal with paying customers!!! I just spent a lot of money for a product I can’t use!!!! This is not the first time I’ve had a problem with Ashley……but I guarantee you it will be the last!!!!! The sooner Ashley Furniture goes bankrupt the better off this country will be! DO NOT buy ANYTHING from them!!!!
I bought a couch over 3 weeks ago and they still haven’t delivered it! The sales girl said the 2nd qt the latest and I thought that was long. Come to find out she just said that because it’s what we wanted to hear and I am still waiting, until the 9th now! And delivery is not cheep!!!

We spoke with the Manager and he was a really nice guy! We went in knowing what we wanted and he provided with similar options available to us. Not very friendly or professional - and this is not directed towards everyone. But I came back to change my previous order which I was told I could do, (that was not the issue per say) but when getting help in this one person was saying one thing and the other was saying something else. They work together and are a team but didn’t act like it. The “manager in training” kept talking down to the gal who was working very hard to help me. And my friend and I just kept saying sorry I’m sorry to her- and it makes me just want to leave and not buy from them, but i was in a time crunch. When we as customers said we are sorry she said it’s ok over and over again and we just looked at her and said no it is not. Please put him through some more training at the very least … I still want to see if I have other options because of the uncomfortable situation. Also not willing to help with or offer discounts after having me drive back and forth and trying sell me more in order to give me the discount via voicemail… I’m just bemused.

Thank you Jackson and Tony for helping us find the sleeper sofa we wanted. Great sales service and easy checkout, too! Well, I’m sorry to say that it is now four weeks later and I’m having to change my review. This is in regards to the actual delivery of our sleeper sofa. We have now had a “confirmation” email sent to us with delivery dates that then get moved ahead another two weeks - the first was for September 23rd, then it was going to be October 18. Now, we’re being told November 1. With no explanation other than “the sofa didn’t make it from the warehouse”. This is terrible. We’re giving you ONE more chance Ashley. Oh, Ashley, your delivery and follow through just blew it. We waited and actually said okay to yet two more delivery delays (a total of five) and still no sofa. Why would delivering a sofa be so difficult? Again, the sales staff were great (thank you to the local staff for helping us with our refund) but the whole idea is you should get what you bought, and, we never did. Buyer beware.

She researched what we were really looking for and as a result we wound up buying a loveseat of the same make and fabric rather than the sectionals that were shown in the storeroom. As I entered the store, I was warmly greeted by several sales personnel, yet they respected my desire to just look around. I returned 2 days later and purchased a lamp. They said it would arrive in 7-10 days, but I actually received it the next day! Overall, a great customer service experience at this store that I have never visited until this purchase! I will return.

Ashley has by far been the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. From the moment this couch was delivered, to now, I am just so disappointed. We purchased a sofa from Ashley in October of 2022, about 6 months ago. The cushions look like we have had the couch for 10 years, the wear is unbelievable. Our main concern other than the insane wear on the cushions, is that there is moisture under the cushions. The sofa sits in our living room and there is heat on, so this obviously was an issue of being wet/damp from the facility it came from. A technician came out and offered to replace the cushions, but that will obviously not help if there is moisture in the couch, the issue will continue. They also only wanted to replace the foam inside the cushions, instead of the entire cushion, which makes no sense. He said that moisture is not covered in the warranty, which is equally disappointing. I went into the store to hopefully have more success in getting a proper replacement considering the couch is still under warranty, however, I was told that it is not longer in their hands and that the technician team will deal with it. While I was talking the two men basically acted like they could literally do nothing to help me and I just had to wait. I am writing this review because we had an equally nightmarish experience with the initial delivery. I hope that someone from Ashley will read this review and recognize that we need to have a replacement or a refund. Either way, I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. The quality is horrific, and the customer service is even worse. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

An Easter miracle! I took my mom into Ashley’s near the mall on Easter Eve. It was our third furniture store and we were exhausted and desperate to find her a power recliner that would work for her. We were greeted by the very sweet sales lady Annette. She showed us the area to look. Then she said she would get me a “scratch and save” card. I jokingly told her to pick up good one. She brought one to me with a or penny to scratch it off. It was the grand prize of $2,500 towards anything in the store! On top of that mom finally found a loveseat she loved. We still had $ left so we also bought a sealy posturepedic mattress! The store manager took our photo and patiently helped us figure out which mattress to get for mom. Then we went to desk to arrange delivery and pay the extra $680. Her name was Patience and she was kind and sweet too! The Universe was aging on us Saturday night. We love Ashley’s furniture store in Bellingham WA!

I purchased an entertainment stand with fire place. It took for ever just to get the transaction completed. Then I received my unit with the door completely broken after shipping. I went to the hardware store to fix it and at the final stage of putting the fire place in the center it was way to big. I took the fire place back to Ashly and found out the associate was the one who ordered the wrong fireplace. I have had my entertainment set sitting assembled in my living room for a week waiting for the correct fireplace. Never again will I shop or recommend Ashley.

My husband and I ordered a full bedroom set from Ashley’s furniture. A year after having it one of the drawers on the dresser chest broke. We were very sad about it. I called Ashley’s furniture and spoke with Patience Cozadd and she was so kind and understanding. She asked for all the details and was extremely helpful. She filed a claim, and we were able to get a new drawer and parts to repair the dresser. Can’t say enough nice things about Patience. If only all company's had employees like that. Very greatful for her.
Maddie is the best and is so sweet! She showed an extraordinary amount of patience as we pin-balled back and forth throughout the store, and with our decisions. The managers were also very kind and patient. I highly recommend asking for Maddie when you head to Ashley!

This review is solely for the outstanding customer service performance of the whole team at this specific location in assisting me with my order issues. It is unfortunate that I cannot say the same about the company as a whole. If there was ever a take away from this experience, it would be that Ashley's as a company really needs to step up their customer service game as a whole so that their retail store doesn't have to keep picking up after their mistakes.

I came in knowing what I wanted and got scared because the dresser and nightstand I wanted was showing a lot more $$ online than I saw the week before I came in and Mia gave the best deal possible less than I originally planned ! Salesperson was lovely. Otherwise, that was just about the worst delivery experience I have ever encountered. They attempted to bring the couch inside and it did not fit through the door. They tried once while taking photos of how it didn’t fit. The man just kept saying customer service. He then rushed us to choose whether to keep it. He got annoyed when I asked for a moment to discuss with my partner if we would try ourselves. We opted to keep it and they dropped the couch down on the walkway on top of our cushions and left. When I called customer service to ask what we can do if it doesn’t fit, she said if there is any damage at all I will receive no refund. She was very unhelpful and rude. The delivery team did not inform us that if we keep it we can’t get a full refund. Photos who how they left the couch and the damage that the delivery team made to our couch. This was seriously the most stressful and worst delivery experience of all time. I will never shop with this company again.

So we went to look at and buy a couch and a recliner we found the couch and then we were told that if you purchase the couch we have to go all the way to Tacoma to pick it up or $100 to be delivered to the house that's too bad cuz my wife really liked the couch and we like the girl it was working how do you buy furniture to tell people to go to drive to Tacoma to pick it up it doesn't make any sense

This is not even a 1 star review- it wouldn't let me leave it at zero stars. I purchased a couch and loveseat just days before Thanksgiving. The set was delivered and set up but that same evening the motor on the couch recliner stopped working. I tried for several hours to contact someone via the customer service number provided. I was caller 245th in the queue. Sheer ridiculousness! I decided to call back the next day and again was unable to get through to anyone. I then went into the Ashley store and told them of my frustrations and the fact that I had purchased a couch that had literally worked for a couple of hours. All they said they could do was call and try and open a case for me. Needless to say, it is now January 20th and after several attempts to contact someone to get this resolved, I am still waiting for a working couch. This was my first purchase from Ashley and it will absolutely be the last!! No one has made this right and trying to get any customer service is impossible!! Buyer beware!!
Never buying a product here again. I bought two faux leather sofas here and after a couple years all the faux leather started peeling off leaving the black fabric below. I went in and asked if there was a fix or if I could get a discount off of new sofas and they basically told me I was SOL. Never again.
Went in to replace a sofa and found what we wanted, with a good sales price. Scott was helpful but not overbearing. Placed our order and got everything set up for delivery, easy peasy. Thank you!
Ordered a couch as a present and the delivery process has been horrible. They canceled once and scheduled out over a week later. Delivery day came again and we have called 3xs and we’re told delivery was on its way. As it got over an hour late we called a fourth time and again they canceled. She’s been without a couch for a week with 2 kids as she got rid of hers expecting delivery the first time around. For the 5k+ you’d expect exceptional service, this is not that case at all!
Sales gal was good. The mattress was what we expected, but unfortunately we made a mistake and ordered a box spring that was to tall for my wife. I understand that they wouldn't take the product back, but Customer service was terrible. I have no patience for Patience. I understand you're "not a sales person", but you should still know your stuff! I made a simple phone call to Wilson's furniture and they were happy to give me a price for a bunkie box spring. We will ordering there instead. Update 7/3/22. Our experience described above was so terrible that when purchasing new furniture for a living room and dining room we went to Wiser furniture and Wilson furniture for our purchases. The service here was much better. I recommend both these companies. Thank you for the referral Ashley furniture!

My wife and I bought a bedroom set at the Bellingham location back in August for our daughter's apartment. Delivery has been delayed 4 or 5 times. All because they're waiting on bedrails. Meanwhile my daughter is sleeping on a mattress on the floor and living out of her moving boxes. Its the end of November and delivery is set again for this Wednesday the 24th of November. We shall see if delivery actually happens this time. I will never again buy from Ashley furniture. Any location.

I have never experienced the level of complete and utter incompetence Ashley Homestore graced me with. I ordered thousands of dollars of furniture in July and it has been an utter comedy of errors trying to get it delivered. The local Ashley HomeStore is not affiliated with the online corporation so forget about using the chat feature - they do not actually direct you to someone local even though the robot says it does. If you call the local store number and no one answers by the fifth ring, you are automatically transferred to corporate and guess what? They can't help you because you ordered in store. I have spent over 7 hours on hold with customer service, I have missed 2 full days of work for deliveries that never came, and I am so over it that I don't even know what to do. I will never do business with this company again. I do not recommend ever purchasing from the Bellingham Ashley HomeStore - save yourself the headache and buy from LITERALLY anywhere else. I'd attach photos, but it would just be of my empty house because it's been 7 weeks and counting for this company to figure out how to deliver furniture 20 miles away.
We are over the moon about Annette and how she helped us in the Bellingham, WA store. She is a STAR! We keep talking about her and how remarkable she was. Furniture shopping is usually a stressful experience. Annette made it so easy and joyful that we had the energy to bring our purchases decisions to conclusion in one visit to the store. Now that a few days have gone by, we are not second guessing our purchases, like we normally would be, as we wait on delivery. The couches I bought from them are not even two years old and they are ripping at the seems and are pealing. They lied to me about the extended warranty, saying it would cover peeling and ripping at the seems, no it does not. They lied to me about the coupon they gave for having to drive 30 minutes back to their store for an oversight in the purchase, saying the coupon can be used on any product at any time, they did not honor it at all. The furniture arrived smelling toxic and every window and door had to be opened for 2 days so the kids would stop feeling woozy. And you can’t get a hold of anyone either by phone or chat or email. I’m going to have to go to the store to deal with all of this. Bad customer service and awfully made furniture.
The only good part about this place is physically going to and exploring the store. The customer service/online support, ease of contact, delivery time, and clarity are absolute garbage. I had a pleasant experience buying a couch with my wife where we found something we liked. After having decided to buy and starting the process, our salesman quoted us 1-2 weeks for delivery as this was supposedly coming from Tacoma for some reason. Okay...thats fine, 1-2 weeks not too terrible. Boy was he wrong. 2 weeks go by, not a whispery or mention of my order about delivery. I attempt to contact live chat, which took 45 minutes to connect with someone. Once connected, this individual told me it would be delivered BY August 21st. It is now August 20th, STILL no mention of my order. I've been patient, tried chatting with representatives to no avail, and I still have never seen or sat on this couch that I purchased nearly 1.5 months ago. Who do I contact? What do I do? This is ridiculous and now I don't even know if I want the couch anymore if its going to continue to be like this. I understand COVID has caused delays, but you need to be forward and honest with people about it. If I had known It would take more than a month to get, I would have just gone anywhere else. I guess I'll try to get a refund if I hear nothing by the end of the weekend. EDIT: I still have heard nothing, attempted to get a refund (quoted 7-10 days) and have received nothing back. Talking to customer service has gotten me nowhere. APPARENTLY in-store purchases are separate from online purchases and therefore you must cancel in-store if thats how you purchased.
I had the most wonderful shopping experience at Ashley Home Store. I’ve never shopped here before and your salesman Kamar was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to go through the store and showed me what I was looking for. He’s got great taste and style!! I will definitely shop here again.
(This only has a star because I HAVE to give it at least one, but they deserve no stars) First and only time shopping at Ashley Furniture HomeStore, will never purchase from them again or recommend them to anyone. Purchased a couch in May, was told it would be ready for delivery in June, so quickly get rid of my couch. It is now AUGUST 11th and my love seat was JUST delivered today, which the man notified me that the rest of my couch was still on back order. The store will no longer return any of my calls (they haven’t for awhile now), nor did they offer any sort apology for their error in all of this, I still have no idea when the rest of my couch will arrive. I am completely disgusted in the way this couch purchased was handled by Ashley’s. If I had of known it was back ordered I most likely would have still ordered the couch, but would have clearly avoided getting rid of mine until the new couch was actually ready. Save yourself the stress, and purchase furniture from ANYWHERE but here!!
Our shopping experience was great! Kemar let us shop without pestering, but was there to answer any questions and assist us with our purchase. When one item was out of stock, he allowed us to upgrade without the additional cost. When I need to make another furniture purchase, I will definitely be looking for Kemar when I go to Ashley.
Unfortunately twice now I have phoned Ashley Home Furnishings regarding our delivery. Both times I waited on the phone over 10 minutes. Never spoke with a customer service representative and went to a customer service rati g. I gave a zero. In store great. Phone
Do not shop here, once you give them money they are done with you, I’m disabled and they took me for thousands and damaged furniture, then just to have a gentleman that works there mock me and my disability, then promised to make it right … now won’t talk to me or fix the problem
Do not shop at Ashley’s is you are disabled, purchased new furniture, and when it was delivered the delivery guys threw my new furniture on the ground , put it together wrong and left…. Didn’t even have 2 seconds to say no I do not accept…. Driver took off…. 20 minutes later sends me receipt of acceptance with driver’s signature…. Now Ashley’s will not refund money or replace broken furniture… even though I was on phone 2 minutes after driver left they put me off day after day now say that it’s past 72 hours and that since it’s here I accepted it…… they know I’m disabled and nothing I can do about it… yet still say it’s my fault my problem…. Now out thousands with damaged furniture…. And a big f-u from Ashley’s Bellingham store and call service… they screwed up, they illegally signed for furniture… now put all blame on the disabled guy with tbi…. Wow just wow
Nice staff, limited style on a specialized piece of furniture I was looking for. However, they try to accommodate. Less a star for prices, maybe because of convenience of being at the mall.

Good luck getting any help. I picked out things online and thought I would order them through the local store, but there is so much incompetence. It is honestly much easier to order this brand from Amazon, and the Amazon price was lower than Ashley themselves.

Not impressed at all. My family bought a living room set from the bellingham store and it has taken almost 3 months to get all of our items... one of the side tables was broken by the delivery guys and we then watched him try to fix it himself by sinking 6 screws into one of the legs and breaking the table even more then received a replacement leg in the mail for a completely different table went to the store and they weren't really much help and completely left out the rug that was part of the set we had bought! Would never buy from here again!
We came for an entertainment center. We left with a beautiful coffee table and couch... and no entertainment center lol. Travis helped us tremendously by being available to answer all our questions and nearby if we needed him, but not trying to sell us anything or upsell us. Very appreciated to have great help and no pressure.

I was devastated to learn the sleeper sofa we ordered and patiently waited for was discontinued 1 week before our company was going to arrive. We went to the Bellingham store and spoke to the manager, Alex, who worked with us to find something in stock and get it delivered in the nick of time! Alex saved the day, and it's that kind of customer service that will keep us coming back to Ashley in the future!
My wife and I have been buying from Ashley Home Store for many years and have always been satisfied with the quality and price. Recently we just purchased a sectional and without asking we were given another discount on top of the one that was being advertised. We will buy again.
The best furniture store! The staff are so patient, friendly and super helpful! We bought a sectional and king size mattress in December from this location. Fayez and Travis gave us the best customer service. They helped answer all of our thousand questions we had. We came in late at night too before closing and they were so patient with us. The prices were so great too. The delivery system was so punctual too. Fayez told us we could expect a call and text regarding delivery schedule. They contacted us and set up the delivery. I thought I would be waiting around all day but I wasn’t. There system is great. They text you a couple days before to confirm your delivery and give you a four hour window. Then on the morning of their delivery they text you a tracking link. This narrows down the delivery to a one hour window. Then they text you again when they are 10 to 15 minutes away from delivering your order. The delivery and setup guys are so fast to get in and out of yours house! It’s super amazing. We were so happy with the service provided we went back and bought a new bedroom set, a bunk bed and coffee tables from Fayez. We got our deliveries this week and again it was the same great service. Plus we decided we wanted bunkie boards for our beds too for the look. We called up and talked to Fayez. Him and Nancy were able to order them for us to get shipped out right away. Great service, great prices and awesome delivery and setup. I would highly recommend going here for your furniture needs and we will definitely be back!
Don't waste your time with this company! Especially this store. My mom purchased an expensive couch from them which came damaged. Almost a year later and we are still dealing with this crap. Store and customer service have no communication at all. Everything they come to exchange the couch the new one comes damaged also. Don't give them your business!!!!!!
I booked an appointment online, we were greeted at the entrance by Fayez! The item we found online was actually right at the entrance, it was great to be able to see it and feel it in person. Fayez was great giving us time to walk around and look and see other options. When it was time for my husband and I to decide Fayez answered all our questions and was super open honest with us. Fayez was a breath of fresh air, not a typical pushy salesman. Our experience with Ashley Furniture and Fayez was exceptional!
Hello #ashleyhomecare, I bought a set of "leather" couches from Ashley Furniture from the Bellingham,WA location in December 2018. The sales associate in the store tried really hard to sell the item by saying the quality is amazing and how if anything went wrong you can buy the extended warranty and we will cover anything that isn't rips etc. In Feb 2020, we noticed the recliner isn't reclining properly, and the inside of the couch is deteriorating. I contacted the Ashley customer service 3 times and they kept telling me my warranty is only good for a year and wouldn't do anything about this issue. I even told them that "leather" is just ripping on its own, and they told me it's not real leather and that on its own is false advertisement on there behalf. Finally, i got a hold of montage, which is there extended warranty program that i paid for. They didn't get back to me after i filed the claim, and then when i contacted them they told me that these issues aren't covered under the warranty. I am very unpleased by how Ashley furniture handled this, and how cheap the product really is. I would highly NOT recommend Ashley furniture to any of my family and friends.
Have purchase several items and furniture for our new house here. They seem to always have sales, so the prices are good.
Fist off I’d highly avoid working with Colleen, she is incompetent at her job and will order you half a sectional. Then when it arrives the half you need is no longer available. After raising the concern to management she will lie (she told management she called me and left a VM on the situation, she straight up lied to her manager). I have no record of a call or VM, if you are going to be that shady owning up to your mistake and lying to management you deserve to be let go. Lying to a customer is one thing, but lying to your manager and a customer.... unprofessional... I’d can her if I was the manger. My review rating is based solely against Colleen specifically, the front desk crew and upper management team was super proactive on resolving the problem and making it right. I’d still shop at Ashley, just not with Colleen. Also Nancy deserves at least a min a 20% raise, she’s an asset to your company, I’d be happy to have her working at my company.
This company lied to my husband and I about a promotion. Long story short, we were told by both our sales associate (Selena) and manager (Natalie) that we’d receive a VISA gift card for over $600 since we financed over $6,000 through them for our bed. They even said “spend it on groceries or whatever, just can’t be used toward your payment, great promo!” So we didn’t put as much down as we had planned as they encouraged us the more we finance the more we’d get back. 3 months later and no VISA card so I called and asked about it. Natalie is no longer there and “was going through some stuff at the time”. I was told we were actually supposed to get $300 in Ashley gift cards for the promo... what?! That is far from what we were told. And we didn’t even receive those either by the way. Waiting on a call back from Alex the manager there, but I won’t get my hopes up on ever getting our VISA card. STRAIGHT UP LIARS at this place. I never leave reviews but I felt this deserved it.
Bellingham Ashley are liars! My husband and I bought a bed here and financed over $6,000 with them. We were told there was a promotion going and we would get a VISA gift card worth six months of payments, so basically over $600 on a VISA card. Encouraged us to not put more cash down as we would get more back. Never got the promo card and called Ashley only to hear we were supposed to get $300 in Ashley gift cards as the promo. Ummm what. Selena (sales associate) and manager Natalie— who also happens to not work there anymore and “was going through some stuff at the time” straight up lied to my husband and I. They even knew my husband is a police officer! I’m more than unhappy. Management better make this right. I’m waiting on a call back from Alex (manager) but am not getting my hopes up. Shop elsewhere!!!
Worst experience ever at a furniture store! Worst service ever! We purchased a mattress and an adjustable bed frame, we were told we have to have it picked up today and that they can not deliver do to their policy against any deliveries. We get there to pick up our product, our brand new mattress just sitting in the loading dock with nothing covering the new white mattress. They have no way of covering this mattress and expected us to load up and drive away in the pouring rain without anything to protect the exposed mattress. I would expected that they would have the ability to insure any new product they sell to leave their store protected. Or at the very least to inform the customer that it's their responsibility to bring bags and materials to protect their purchase. I do not recommend Ashley's furniture to anyone, I would encourage people looking for good service not to shop the Ashley's Furniture store at the Bellis Fair Mall. Wish I had read the reviews before shopping here. Please don’t make the same mistake I made. It’s been over four months and our couch still hasn’t arrived. We paid so much money and have nothing to show for it. It’s the worst hostage situation ever and has officially crossed over to a scam in my book. Customer service never gets back to you; store employees have no idea what’s going on and they tell you misleading things each week. Covid is not an excuse for failing to communicate and organize a delivery since August 21st. So so terrible. Run now, if you’re local please go to Griffith’s furniture store instead, they have been great and actually deliver their products to you. Please do not make my mistakes; do not waste your time or money with Ashley.
My grandparents bought a lift chair needed to help my grampa get up. An absolute necessity that cost them over $1000 after delivery and aging a $99.99 extended 5 year warranty! From the very start there were troubles with this chair. Now, less than a year after purchasing it, it has completely stopped working altogether. After months of trying to get store to honor the warranty my grandmother asked us to step in. We called eight days ago and spoke with the warranty company and they provided us a claim number stating that someone would call within two to five days to schedule someone to come out to fix the chair. 8 days later and no word. I absolutely would not recommend anyone buy anything from this store ever unless you want to experience non-stop stress. I checked the time. Some of the other reviews and noticed that there seems to be a habit from the store. No customer service! My grandpa has already fallen once because he's struggling to get up. This company has literally taken advantage of an elderly couple and taking her money without providing the service or reliable product! !!! So not happy! !!!
I would not recommend buying anything from here until late next year. Here’s why: we walked in and immediately we were greeted by an elderly lady wearing a bedazzled mask BELOW her nose, she then kept acting as if we were inconvenienced her by purchasing a couch, rather financing a couch. The entire visit she kept pulling her mask up and down but it never covered her nose, I saw two other employees wearing a mask, that was it. Thankfully the girl in the back who actually completed our order not only wore a mask but also had pleasant customer service. The bad part, and it’s not on the employees but on Ashley furniture as a-whole is that they let go of their warehouse employees at the beginning of covid and for some reason they haven’t brought them back so our couch that we ordered LAST MONTH won’t be here until NOV. That’s 3 months of making payments and not even having the furniture. I honestly wish we could cancel the whole thing and just go buy one outright, same day pickup and all because this is ridiculous. 3 months to wait for a couch? Not even a fancy shamcy one.. a regular plain Jane couch. I highly recommend going to another company that didn’t lay off their employees and enforce wearing a mask.

I decided I deserved to have a chaise lounge so I could watch my Chinese and Korean dramas, Ted Talks, Dollar Tree finds and DIY. I can also read the 10+ books I have. Being a lazy person, I didn't want to travel far to buy it. I saw Ashley Homestore and saw a chaise online that I liked. When we arrived, they didn't have the chaise but they had matching furniture that went with chaise. I placed order and found out they were having a 45% sale in the store. I told the salesperson that the universe wanted me to have my chaise lounge. So I saved 45% and also got warranty that covered my chaise lounge for 5 years. Only exclusion was pets. Since I don't have pets, this is perfect for me. I can't wait to have my chaise lounge. With the cold, dreary and rainy weather; it is the perfect accompaniment for a homebody like me.
Kemar was awesome! He spent at least 2 (maybe more?) Hours with us, helping us find the right furniture. He also made it work for us to get a tempurpedic and still be able to get the rest of what we needed as well.

Yo, semi cheap furniture but it is what it is. They deliver usually on time. And the dudes wear booties when they come in your house! Super cool!
Worst online experience ever. I ordered a twin bed for my son in March and all pieces arrived on time but it came in four different shipments and it just so happens that the last delivered piece was cracked and the screws had pulled right through the wood. So I call customer service over the next month 27 times. Not once did I talk to ANYoNE, same as online and the online assistant always said it was going to help me but would never actually put me in contact with anyone..So 2 more months and finally get to go into the store and they instruct me that another customer just left for the same reason as like they told them that they have nothing to do with online sales and they cannot help other than to email them and let them know I had been in contact and to contact me. So now it's the middle of July and guess who I've spoke with or been emailed by.....NO ONE!!!!
Wayyyyy to expensive
Very professional and warm welcome when we entered the store. They asked what we were looking for and told us where to find the recliners. We were given time to look around on our own and compare prices and items. Payment was quick and delivery was set up for us. Super friendly staff. The delivery guys were amazingly quick to set up recliner and most friendly and polite we have ever had. My only advice is to get a change box in store as some people pay in cash.
I have ordered my couch on the 12th of April, when I ordered the couch was in stock online. I figured it was going to take a while since the whole pandemic thing, so I’m waiting a month. Two days before it should’ve been delivered I get a call saying it will be “another month.” Not only is this a problem because I am not going to be two months without a couch, it’s also false advertising when they claimed to have a product when in reality they didn’t (I asked a sales lady.) I will never use this company again.
Super friendly and easy to work with. Leanne was helpful and fun to chat with. They did a great job following protocols in place for Covid-19 Protection and it was a very positive experience.
We ordered a couch weeks ago from Ashley's. It took forever just the confirm the order is coming because they were sold out online and they returned the money to the account. So it finally comes back out and we had a day setup. Cool. So our roommate is home that day and they gave us a delivery time period. So they show up 2 hours early to deliver the couch. Roommate happens to be outside and misses them. Sucks. Ashley's says they will reschedule in the next 24-48 hours. So Wife calls them back today. Turns out since they came early and we "weren't home" they gave our couch away to someone else. When asked to cancel the order she said we had to call the number that puts you on hold for 3 hours and then just hangs up. Horrible way to run your business.
I purchased 3 chairs in December and 1 is pilling really bad I called and they do not stand behind their product I will never shop there again. Beware they will stick you with an extended warranty for what bad customer service

I wish I could give negative stars here. This nightmare won’t end. We found and bought an incredible bedroom set and spent $3300 in the process. Delivery was scheduled for 2/17. They called a few days prior to see if we wanted to receive early. Of course! On the day of delivery they were missing the bed! We’ve been on the floor ever since. They’ve rescheduled delivery 4 times and each time have had something go wrong. Today they showed up and are still missing pieces! Absolutely terrible experience and the communication between the local store and corporate is useless. Very sorry to say but this has been awful.

Upon this visit we were assisted by Kemar who made understanding the overwhelming available options of a new mattress and frame so very simple. It is with his extensive knowledge, patience and care that he shared with us, that helped us to determine which product would best meet our needs and make us happy customers who will definitely return for future household needs. So far so good. Went in on a Saturday and made an order. Changed my mind on Monday and went back and totally changed my order. The sales team was wonderful in making this change and super patient while I picked out a new living room setup. Waiting to see how the delivery goes in 2 weeks.

I had a great experience from start to finish with Ashley HomeStore in Bellingham. Shannon on the sales floor was fantastic! She asked the right questions to help me find exactly what I needed and she helped get me a great price. She was a delight to work with! I get major anxiety about furniture deliveries but this one went very well. They text you with updates on the status of the drivers which helped eliminate all of my worries. The delivery guys put my bed together and it looks great! I will definitely shop here again!
Furniture shopping at Ashley was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a store. They marked their furniture up roughly 60% from the internet price and then marked it down by 40% which they marketed as a blowout Black Friday Sale. Had I not checked the online pricing prior to taking delivery, I would have ended up spending more then their advertised price. They claim it’s fair because they price match, but is it really price matching if it’s your own online price that you’re matching? IMO- this is a shady sales tactic that’s used to take advantage of people. Additionally, they missed the first delivery date and ended up pushing back our delivery by an additional 10 days. When the shipment finally showed up we had to send the bed frame back due to significant damage on the headboard.

I give this store a 5 star because of the amazing customer service I received, but was pretty frustrated with the online side of things. Things became wonky with the website when we tried to order our couch online so I ended up going directly to the store resolve things. Luckily the staff there were great and were able to resolve things.

Both Natalie and Chase were fantastic, to be honest everyone there was really nice and let me go around testing everything during the process of buying a new bed. I now have a comfy new bed and I'm glad I made the choice to start at Ashley Home Store! I also liked the fact that i was shopping locally ( to a degree ) and still got a great deal!
Went in with a pretty good idea of exactly what I wanted from shopping online, but wanted to see in person. Kemar was very helpful and very patient with my rambunctious (and bored) kids. I was glad to give him my business and I'm looking forward to my delivery in a few weeks.
We were furnishing an entire new home. My intention was to buy locally so I visited three local furniture stores. One was far too expensive, the other didn't have enough selection, and the third took little interest in me even though I explained that I would be buying furniture for three bedrooms, living room, and dining-their loss. After my three unsuccessful local business experiences, I decided to stop at Ashley. I was really impressed by their huge selection and variety. The price points were well spaced from higher end, moderate, and the more affordable. My personal income is 100% sales so customer service is very important to me. I also understand the value of client loyalty and referrals. I expect to be greeted and I also expect the sales associate to be able to gauge my level of interest and offer a level of service to match. Kemar at Ashley Furniture didn't disappoint. The best part of Ashley Furniture was my sales associate; Kemar. He was very knowledgeable, asked all the right questions, and was able to make appropriate recommendations. He had me draw up a rough design of my home for furniture placement and made notes as we walked through the store, noting my preferences. He made suggestions of different styles and fabric/leather choices etc that I wouldn't have otherwise considered. The selection process required several visits to the store and Kemar made certain he was available during every trip, even coming back to the store after he had gone home for the day when I popped in unexpectedly. Now that's dedication! He also stayed in contact via text to send me reminders of our upcoming appointments. He was able to put together a wonderful furniture package at very a competitive price point and my house looks AMAZING! I've never purchased this much furniture at one time and I can honestly say that Kemar made my furniture experience incredibly easy. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to Kemar at Ashley Furniture and have already done so. Thank you Kemar!

Arturo helped me at the Bellingham location and was super helpful! He worked with me to see what the best price possible would be for the items I wanted between the current sale VS. clearance VS. online and what was the best bang for your buck! In general, this store also has great packages where you can get full dining sets and for $100 more... dishes, table accessories and a rug! (Same with living room sets too... like sofa, coffee table, side tables, lamps and rug for hundreds cheaper than buying individual! Ask for Arturo! He’s a great help! 👍🏼
Kemar was awesome! I was changing my living room color scheme from earth tones to what I think of as feminine industrial. We started with some fabulous shelves & went from there. He totally got what I was going for and I ended up with a sectional, recliner, coffee tables & a few occasional tables. It’s all delivered and with a little paint change, everything looks great, but best of all is that it all works well together both artistically and functionally I just decided I needed a new bed and definitely went back to see Kemar! He’s a great find
Update: Management reach out to help resolve issue. I'll update and correct comment once the compensation goes through. Thank you for reaching out! We ordered a couch and rug in Sept 22nd and paid $150 for delivery. We were told to expect a week. We had to extend delivery by 3 days so someone could meet the truck. We were called before couch delivery and told that they were out of the rug and had to wait for stock to arrive at the warehouse. The couch was delivered Oct 5th. We waited another week and was told it would be delivered by that Wednesday. I stayed home and never received delivery. Then I got a text saying Saturday. Saturday told around, no delivery. We then were told the 23rd. The day off the 23rd I get a call saying the truck is too full and they have to send it UPS. I asked if it would still be delivered same day and the lady assured me it would. I even asked her again and again she assured me it would be delivered same day. We have still not received our rug. We try to call but there is never an answer besides a call cue. Both my partner and I tried to call at different times of the day and have records of us waiting over an hour and finally had to give up, due to other responsibilities. I just received an automated call that says now it's set for October 30th. This is unacceptable! They charged us for shipping and have not delivered in over a month. Poor business ethic. I'm sure I still won't get my rug by the 30th and should just have them cancel and refund our money.
Worst Experience. Were moving to Bellingham and devoted a whole day to finding a couch. Sherri doesnt know what she is doing and Shannon is trying to over charge on prices. TIP: Make sure to check the online price because they will try to charge more for it in store. ( I THINK NOT SHANNON).

Well, Kemar wanted to make sure I gave him a good review and suggested 5 stars :), but honestly it is well deserved. He is knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. Time will tell in a couple of weeks when I get my mattress and couch, but I'm really looking forward to it. Somehow I went in to try out a couple of couches and not wanting a new mattress but I left spending a lot more than I had anticipated. Kemar gave me a screaming deal though. That said, Tracey in the financing department was also a pleasure to work with. Everyone was friendly and the selection is terrific.

My fiance and I had a great experience buying our mattress and bed frame here! We worked with Arturo, who was so helpful and patient with us. He listened to what we were looking for, answered all of our questions, and wasn't pushy in the slightest. We also worked with the store manager, who worked with us and gave us a great deal on the mattress base and even threw in two $150 pillows for free. We were able to discuss our options by ourselves without feeling pressured and took our time walking around the store looking at our bed frame options. The only negative would be that additional salespeople approached us while we were trying to pick out the frame, almost like they weren't aware that we were already working with someone and were told we could take our time by ourselves to look around. It got a little frustrating trying to pick something out and discuss amongst ourselves when other people kept trying to approach us. At the end of the day, we got a great deal on a Tempur-Pedic mattress, base, and frame, and walked away satisfied and excited to visit Ashley Furniture for future furniture needs. I would highly recommend working with Arturo - he was beyond patient with us, extremely helpful with all of our mattress and financing questions, and took his time in ensuring we had a great experience. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Eli at the Bellingham store was great to work with. We walked into the store 15 minutes before closing. We were just going to take a quick look. Eli said they would be there for as long as we were. I thought that was so sweet. 45m later we had a new couch even with my fiance harassing him about being a Vikings fan. I will definitely return and tell my friends to visit also.

We got lots of expert advice from Kemar, he really worked to understand our situation and what we needed, and gave us lots of design advice for the room we are furnishing. He went above and beyond with lots of different options, and left us with a clear idea of what we wanted for the room along with some great foundational pieces. I would hire him as an interior designer any day!
Beautiful furniture, but over priced compared to other places. I also don’t like being followed around by the salesperson. I’d love to look around without being watched & talked to constantly. My husband & I couldn't even get a word in without the sale person offering her price or how nice it was. If I want help I’ll ask for it.

Good prices and good product but this past weekend I was ignored by a salesman named Arturo as my wife and I were looking at couches. I found this very frustrating because I had to always go looking for him to ask prices for items. My last straw was when I finally tracked him down and found him sitting on his phone! I was planning on buying for the sale this weekend but ended up walking because of how poorly we were treated.
Only one star for a simple reason: the 9&" tall box spring foundation for the mattress was 4&" too tall for comfort and looks, and I told them so on the same day the shipment arrived (yesterday as I&'m typing this), but even though it is still sealed in the factory bag, Ashley has refused to exchange it for a shorter 5&" box spring. The other mattress dealers I checked with in town said they would have exchanged box spring in this situation for my comfort. Ashley said I could buy another one, not exchange.When I made the purchase last week, no measurements were made to see how the taller box spring would affect the overall height of the mattress. I wanted the mattress high enough to be able to change the bottom sheet easily. As it turns out, I can&'t even turn around and sit on the mattress, it&'s so high.To aggravate the situation, the bed I also bought from Ashley arrived in the shipment yesterday with all three supporting slats cut about 1/2-3/4&" too short to screw to the foundation support rails. During my call to Ashley outlining these issues, it was noted that the slats would have to be replaced via another shipment, and if the box spring would have been exchanged also, it would have been in the same delivery as the slats. So that made good economic sense to get both items on the truck. But no, Ashley has refused. By the way, this in no way reflects on the salesperson, who was very friendly and professional.This was the first time I&'ve shopped and purchased at Ashley. Based on my current dissatisfaction with the bad quality of the bed slats and their immediate refusal to exchange the unopened box spring, it was the last time.

I went In on a Sunday afternoon to browse living room options with my mom and the person (Sarah) that helped us was just a delight of a sales person. The store has a great set up and a good atmosphere. Will be coming back for sure.

The store is amazing. So many beautiful things. The staff are friendly. Sarah M was exceptional. I found the furniture that I love & hope last me a long time. I didn't give 5 stars because my grandchild but 2 pillows & it took over 30 minutes for the staff to get them checked out. The decorative items are not scanned into the computer & everything had to be looked up manually. Frustrated waiting for that. They should have just written down the codes & let her go. (The staff was just a frustrated but still wonderful)

The in-store staff was fantastic to work with. Unfortunately they aren't the only people you have to deal with. The delivery dept of this company is the absolute worst. We ordered a new entertainment center and dining room set. Waited 2 weeks for delivery, the entertainment center wasn't put together correctly and 1 pier was broken. Then we got 4 dining chairs but no table...They said table didnt get on the truck, would be here next day, by the time they got vack to the warehouse no one could find table....Had to wait another 3 weeks for table and replacement entertainment center....In store personnel were a great help during this time ( Thanks Kyle and Shannon )....warehouse and delivery terrible...

Sherri did an amazing job. She assisted in our couch purchase. My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted when we went in and Sherri showed us the perfect couch. We weren't sure that the couch would fit our space so we had to go home to measure. She told us to speak to the manager Chris when we returned and he too was an asset in the purchase of our couch. They are not into pressure selling or trying to steer you towards something that you aren't interested in. They listen to what you are looking for and if you have to leave the store, that's okay too. I will definitely be back for the rest of the furniture we need for our home design.
Sherri was awesome. Easy to talk to. Didn't try to sell you something you didn't want. We even went home and slept on it before deciding and she was great about it, no pressure sales is what we love Really listened to what we were looking for and what we wanted to spend. Made the whole experience very enjoyable. Nice manager and helpful, friendly loading staff as well.

The store itself is good. They have a huge selection and the sales personnel are helpful. They did mess up our order while they we were making a purchase, so make sure to check your receipts very carefully before the sale is finalized. My bigger issue is delivery. We were told delivery was on Monday, confirmed it, and even got a call saying they were 15 minutes out. Then they left a message saying they thought we were in Seattle (we are 2.5 hours from Seattle) and couldn’t deliver that day. Further, they couldn’t reschedule delivery at that time and we are now waiting for a call back to figure out delivery.
Both my wife and and I were in Ashley Furniture in Bellingham. Kemar was the first representation of your Company we encountered. We were in the market for a chair and a half. Kemar did everything right as far as asking the correct questions and building the necessary rapport to earn out trust. I have been in sales for 30 plus years and Kemar is easily in the Top Ten people I have encountered. He also involved his Manager when he felt he needed. Very personable and professional... The best of both worlds in sales. We will certainly return based on out experience with Kemar.

Sales person was not knowledgeable about the sale. Told us the item we wanted was not on sale when we were told by another employee that it was. Was not knowledgeable about shipping Procedure, said we could ship to California when it wasn't possible. Also wasn't told the cost of delivering to our home in lynden. We didn't know it was going to cost 69.99 to deliver 13 miles away. This employee could be new at the job so I felt it important to give feed back.
As we walked into Ashley HomeStore, we were greeted by Wayne. Right away we were welcomed and also told about the specials going on today. He was very knowledgeable about most of the furniture and was NOT!! pushy whatsoever like many salesman. Had so much time to browse the showroom. All the staff were also welcoming and friendly. To sum it up, we walked out with a delivery date for our beautiful living room sectional with rug ,bed frame,mattress and dresser. Thank you for being so awesome at what you do Wayne.

i felt very welcome when i entered the store in Bellingham Washington. The lady and the gentleman that helped me find what i wanted were so pleasant and eager to help. there was no push to help me decide what i wanted to purchase. they took the time to inform me of the options for the care of my purchase. if i ever need any other furniture i will certainly go there first!
The staff at the Bellingham Ashely's was absolutely phenomenal. I went in and found a couch I loved and was helped by one of the store managers. When. I left to look at other stores I eventually came back because I couldn't stop thinking about that couch. When the original manager who helped me was busy with another customer she immediately sent someone else to help me who was as equally phenomenal. They were patient, listened to what I wanted and kept me informed of all my options. I will definitely be going back for more!

We had the best experience with the helpful staff. Chris the manager worked with us to get the price we wanted. Arturo and Joanne were pleasant and helpful. We furnished our living room, dining room and two bedrooms with beautiful furniture for under $7000. I shopped every furniture store in Whatcom county and didn't find a better deal on quality items. Our delivery and set up is in 11 days which is fine and I expect to receive as wonderful an experience as I did at their showroom at Bellisfair.

Mediocre furniture at best. Poor customer service. Terrible delivery service. The sales people are the only good thing about Ashley Furniture. Things may have improved slightly after Hill Country Holdings LLC sold their locations to Ashley Furniture Industries (corporate) but I'm doubtful. Buy at your own risk.

Before I bought the furniture I made sure that they would deliver and set up in the rooms I wanted. Our main living room is on the second floor. Then the delivery men said they wouldn't do it. My husband convinced them to anyway. Then they threw a pallet in our bushes and their snack bags and trash in our driveway.
Immediately I was greeted by Callie, she was very helpful and provided me with a variety of furniture options for my living room. There are great financing options available to anyone. The store Is full of furniture for people with a variety of different styles and price ranges. Everyone was very friendly and I plan on returning to this store for future purchases.
Love Chris. Helped me out on my new dinning room set. Looks just as good in the house as it goes in the store. Found out he was manger. I can see why.
Stopped in on the afternoon of 5/29 to look at chairs. Walked through the entire store obviously looking at all furniture areas. Three salespeople on the floor and not one of them spoke to us or acknowledged that we were there - well, except for the one guy who brushed past us so that he could talk to his co-worker. Waste of time to look at ugly, over-stuffed, over-size furniture.
Whatever you do, please just don't. We ordered quite a bit of furniture from these guys but you don't really think to check the Better Business Bureau or Google Reviews. I beg you to look at other reviews here. There is no in-between, it's either 1 star or 5 stars and over 50% of them are hoar stories. Your only choice is delivery and they partner with a third rate company called Speedy. From everything I can tell they don't do background checks. Speedy nor Ashley was willing to offer proof that this was taking place (because it isn't). We had a issue with the delivery folks as one of the guys cursed out my wife because she refused one of the pieces of furniture. They also drive extremely old trucks, and this one leaked oil all over our driveway. They came back a second time and screwed up our order again. While I made them park in the gravel, they had another leaky truck from the late 80's. The crew at Ashley's front desk is wholly incompetent, there is no other way to say. Chris, the manager, in my opinion will tell you whatever you want to hear to go away. He has no problem making promises knowing he won't follow through. He can take your credit card and sell you $8K worth of furniture but when something goes wrong 'it's out of my control.' A dishonest crew for sure. They tried their best to get me to go away and only after the thread of litigation did I get a refund on the delivery and a damage claim for the driveway. I had to keep calling them to make this happen. Their strategy is to lie and lead on until you hopefully give up. Again, I encourage you to read the other reviews for this store and up and down the 1-5 corridor. Notice how they ignore their reviews. The Bellingham store is particularly special though, they won't be here long. Use Wisers and Wilson's. The genuinely care about their customers.
EDIT: Initially a 4* review, but since we left the store the experience has been awful. Our original delivery date was cancelled and they rescheduled... by a text they sent, no real communication. It happens, so we took it on the chin and accepted their rescheduled date a week later. Well, the day before the new delivery date we got another text saying we were postponed again. No call, no input on how we can figure this out, just a text saying another week. We had already sold our bed at this point so we went into the store to try and make a plan, at which point Chris asked how our bed was (boy did we have a giggle when we said we didn’t know yet) and refunded our delivery fee. Delivery day finally happened... and they broke the bed during delivery. Not friendly drivers, weren’t willing to wear shoe covers in a rainy day, etc, and were careless enough to break the bed. One piece was broken off into the control box and the other found laying on our floor. We called and leaned on Chris again, and he walked us through what we should be seeing and gave an immediate solution in how they would rectify it without needing a tech to come out to diagnose and order a new part, another couple weeks worth of waiting. We expect to have the working piece by tomorrow. ORIGINAL: We arrived and were immediately greeted by Sarah literally as we crossed the threshold of the doorway. She was nice, personable, interacted with our kiddos... as a person she was incredibly pleasant. She helped us look at every single bed on the floor and in the digital catalog, helped while we lay indecisive on mattress after mattress, kept peeking in on our kids while we were father away in the store, and got her manager, Chris, involved who was very helpful and knowledgeable as well! OTHER PROS: - Plenty of employees. - Were willing to quote us prices down to the cent, weren’t as shady in that regard as other stores. - Made us aware of price matching we had no idea about, and other details they could have very easily left out and our bill would have been higher. CONS: - I mentioned they were friendly, but it was almost to the point of pushy. I wouldn’t call it overly aggressive, but felt like we were not given much breathing room (until we gave a verbal purchase commitment). - Didn’t feel like they were listening to us when we talked about our price point and never once did they willingly take us to a cheaper option to look at. We had to literally walk over and ask about cheaper options and then they redirected us right back to the $3,000 ones anyway. A little more willingness to understand the customers price point would be nice. - When we were checking out I was explaining what we wanted and confirming the prices and they said they understood, but then when they read us back the final total it was a few hundred more than I calculated so I called it out. Turns out they hadn’t applied one of our credits. Fortunately, I was cognizant of the total otherwise we would have been “overcharged” (not given the bonus). Overall, I’d say it was a good experience whenever we were in store, but putrid in all other aspects. Thanks Sarah and Chris (and the other help we had) for being the bright spots in an otherwise poor experience. The two of you in particular deserve extra praise.
Now the only reason I am giving this review a 3 instead of a one is because of Joanne and the women manager that also helped me. We are currently remodeling our house and needed a table and some bedroom furniture. I had been in and out of the store multiple time for the past few months just shopping around. Now the first time I ever went into Ashley furniture we were not given our space to look around and shop. I kept assuring the women that if we had questions or needed help we would make sure to find her. She would not leave our side. She even tried to convince me to pay be for we had made our descicion so that and we could cancel if we changed our mind. Now we would have come back that day but we did not like how she handled the sale and how she became quickly irritated when we said no and left. Now fast forward to the day I was ready to purchase. Joanne was amazing she gave us our space, answered all of our questions. I felt great about the sale and the customer service we had received. When we got closer to purchasing she had a question from the male manager. This is where I had yet again felt pressure. He was trying to convince me to buy a mattress to get a lower shipping cost. Now I needed a mattress but needed to speak with my husband. I love two minutes away and said that I would go speak with him and be right back. Which I was going to. Now, he once again like the lady be do Joanne told me to pay for it and come back when my husband said it was okay to get a mattress. I said no I will be right back. He then tried to convience me again and his demeanor changed. Irritated that I was not going to purchase it right away. That if I did not come back Joanne would lose her sale. So I looked at Joanne and promised her that I would be back that night or when she worked next! Well guess what I came back that night spending more then I originally was going to spend. The women manager (I forget her name but she told me she used to work at maceys) was also amazing. She did not make me feel pressured, she was so helpful, and she made sure Joanne received the sale. Which was well deserved. We filled out all the paperwork and then about four days later I received a call saying they for got to have me sign a paper. If I did not come in and sign it that my delivery date would change. First, I understand things happen I worked in customer service for years. Two, not my fault. So I should not suffer to have to now wait longer because you guys for got. Three, I came in signed the paper and now they informed me that I will have things delivered on different dates. WHAT? I pushed everything back to get everything delivered on one date. Why was I not informed of this? They said they would look into it and call me back. No call! Now I have called for a whole week and no one has answered I have been on hold for sometimes over an hour. This is not okay. I have worked in customer service for years. I worked on commission. I understand working with some and spending a lot of time and then leaving and get frustrating. But the way that I felt by the lady who helped me be for and the gentlemen manager made me not want to come back. I literally went home and told my husband that if Joanne had not been so helpful I was not going back. Now I purchased everything I wanted. Joanne and the other manager were amazing! I just got a hold of someone and was able to figure out a delivery date. Cross my fingers, he did say he would get back to me. I suggest not making people feel awful when they need to speak with their husband, not following people around and give them some space to look, and go see Joanne.
Joanne Allcock one of the store associates was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made made me feel welcome and provided me with great information. In fact everyone at Ashley Homestore was delightful. Highly recommend stopping by this store if anyone is interested in home decor or furniture in any way shape or form.
The staff was super friendly and helpful! Joanne welcomed us within minutes of ariving at the store. She answered our questions knowledgeably and gave us tons of information about the store without being pushy or in your face. They had some really good deals and the staff made sure you were aware without making you feel pressured. Honestly, the entire time was pleasant and will definitely be going back for future furniture purchases.
Ordered a coffee table in mid January and still haven't gotten it. It's now May and was just informed it's not gonna be here til late May. If you're okay waiting half a year before getting your order, this may be a place for you.
Had the most worst experience with customer service, I called from 7:30-8:15pm And was on hold the entire time like there’s no one at work at all. I spoke with a girl Emily, that’s was her name she gave me, and ask about our delivery status and she imitately said we missed our delivery time frame without me identifying myself, she said she called both our number on file and LM, txt and did not get any reply so they skipped our delivery today. We didn’t get txt or phone call, we confirmed our delivery date last week...I’m not stupid and and not blind, no call or txt happening on my phone today....and that Emily girl was not nice at all, she sounds irritated just because I asked questions about my delivery time for my furnitures that I bought at Ashley Which gives her paycheck, made me so upset, and makes me just want to return everything and go somewhere else.
I am so frustrated with the customer service. I had an order for my couch to be delivered today, something happened and they couldn't deliver. I missed half a day of work and wasn't notifed till after 12 that my couch wouldn't be delivered. Now they say the best time they can get it to me is a week from now! I've already paid for this, missed half a day of work and now have to go a week without a couch. I'm beyond irritated at this point.

0 stars Never had a bad service like this anywhere. They canceled our deliveries four times which is ridiculous and I do not recommend going in the store. They promised us the delivery date but didn’t cake and did not even apologize. Never going back to that store again.

I called the confirmation phone number because I had questions on Wednesday April 3rd, @3:05 pm and I dealt with the most rude customer service representative ever. This person raised their voice at me and didn’t calmly explain my options. I will never buy from Ashley’s again if I have to work with people like that. I paid more than $100 for delivery so I was expecting to be treated like any customer whom shops from Ashley’s. I myself work in retail so I KNOW what customers expect to be treated like. I wasn’t asking for much. All I wanted was an exact time frame of when the driver would be by house. Instead I get a “NO MAM you cannot say that you will arrive at Seattle at 10am for sure because there’s always traffic on the 1-5, you can say you’ll TRY to be there @ 10.. And same thing with the driver he can have trouble assembling your product. Or he can come across traffic or accidents” I then proceeded to end the conversation and ended up confirming the delivery anyway which is fine now, But then I said ok have a good day and I hung up on this person. So i don’t know who this person was if their name was Ann or John or Glenn I’m not sure. But I’m not happy. I will not be shopping at Ashley’s to further furnish my new home, I’ve never been treated so poorly when I’m a Paying customer.. I didn’t get this furniture for free. I paid it with my hard earned money... Not cool. 4//5/19 I called the confirmation phone number again Because I got a call that the delivery guy was knocking on my door and no one was answering so I called my husband Because he stayed home to receive our furniture and they told me angrily that the guy was knocking on the front door wAs about to leave. I said hold on hold on my husband says he is at the front door and no one is up here. My wife and I finally moved to a much larger place and are having so much fun picking out furniture and area rugs. We love the selection and amazing service at Ashley Home Store in Bellingham. Natalie is more than great she is awesome. She knows what is in the store and where to find it. She followed up on a previous order and is tracking our current one. Her personality is infectious, always fun. Wayne helped us the first time his furniture knowledge is tremendous. We have been to this store several times now and probably will be back. Thank You Natalie and Wayne y&'all are great

I had bought furniture from a different Ashley furniture location in the past and had a good experience. Thought I would try again and since this location was closer to me and just opened, I decided to go there. I should have been an easy sale, as I already knew what I was looking for and was just going in to order the items. When I walked in there was about 4 sales people just lounging around up front. Not one greeted.me or even made an a tempt to get up. I walked through the store twice and there was no one else in the store. Still didn’t get greeted, so I left. Very disappointing
This weekend my family and I stopped into the Ashley store to take a look at a living room furniture set we had seen there previously. We have been having a hard time finding a good fit that pleases the whole family at a competitive price so it has been a challenge. Ashley has a very good selection and the staff is terrific! Brittney was very patient and took the time to not only listen to our needs and preferences, she is genuinely interested in getting to know her customers while making every effort to meet their needs. If she did not know an answer, she got one right away and had a smile the whole time. Chris was extremely helpful as well and treated us with respect and no hard sales pitch. . . . just great customer service. Both are terrific sales folks and we won't hesitate to return to this store for future furniture purchases. Oh, and we did end up with a living room set, bed and rug and can't wait for them to be delivered :-)
My husband and I went into the Ashley home store to order a couch we fell in love with online. We had just moved into a rental with a very small living room and the orientation of the sectional HAD to be a specific way otherwise it would not fit properly. We stressed this multiple times throughout our visit and our sales person reassured us that it would be correct. We ordered on Feb 18, and FINALLY received our sectional yesterday (March 12.) The sectional is the WRONG orientation and barely fits in our living room. We've been without a couch for a month just waiting for it to be delivered and now it does not fit in our living room. I contacted customer service and they referred me back to my homestore to get my order corrected. I contacted the Bellingham Homestore (where we ordered from), once I was sent to voicemail (mind you this was during business hours), and then I talked to a sales associate who told me that this would get corrected and the front desk would call me back within the hour - I waited all night for a call back and no response. We're still waiting to get this resolved as this is NOT what we thought we were ordering. UPDATE: After writing this review I recieved a call from corporate customer care within a few hours, I then recieved a call from the Bellingham Ashley Furniture store letting me know that they were correcting my order and a new couch has already been ordered, and will be arriving in 3 weeks.
Nice furniture and decent prices. However staff is extremely pushy on trying to get you to finance or put a down payment for layaway. We went into pick out a new bedroom set and the salesman did nothing the entire time but try and pressure us into putting it on layaway that day or just financing it and kept saying we didn’t have to make our first payment for 45 days and we can cancel at any time. When one of the first things we stated was that we were not interested in financing and would prefer to write a check. I’m not sure if the salesman get some kind of special commission for getting customers to go through financing but it was very frustrating to deal with.
The product is great. Quality furniture at mostly reasonable prices. One star due to service and delivery issues after the sale. Many delays in delivery due to a disorganized infrastructure, employees not willing or not able to make a decision. We canceled most of what we originally purchased due to multiple delivery delays and mis-information from management, it took (no exaggeration) five separate calls to the corporate office to get the billing correct after the cancellation. We will NEVER attempt to do business with Ashley stores again. C.N. Cole
We went there on the Grand Opening Weekend and everyone we met with was extremely helpful! Sarah and Brittany were helping our relatives and then I ended up wanting to look at some other things. The store manager, Eric, was also extremely informative and even remembered us two weeks later when we came back in to finalize my purchase. Great experience and excellent customer service overall.
