The best shopping experience for finding the perfect piece for our home. I had an amazing experience working with Didier. From the moment I walked into the store, he was incredibly helpful and attentive. Didier took the time to understand my style preference and budget, offering thoughtful suggestions. Whether it was recommending specific pieces, helping me visualize how they would look in my space, or just offering expert advice. There was also a slight issue with the WiFi that day, but Didier along with manager Jeff were there in the best way to make the process as smooth as possible and I truly felt they had the best interest at heart for the customer. If you’re looking for someone who really knows their stuff and goes the extra mile, I highly recommend Didier and Jeff!

I stopped by Ashley furniture looking for a new mattress and bedroom set and had the pleasure of being assisted by Didier Almendarez. I found exactly what I needed and Didier and his manager Jeff made my experience and transaction seamless. If you do happen to pop in definitely ask for Didier✨
WARNING: ⚠️ Do NOT buy anything from any Ashley store. Our $3,000+ couch fell apart within the first year and we have been trying to get a resolution for over a year. They will make you wait on hold for hours, tell you they are going to come to a solution, transfer you to 100 different departments, have you send emails with photos, and a million other hoops to jump through but never respond or give a real answer. Finally they will tell you your furniture is out of the 1 year warranty and to contact the extended warranty company. That company will then tell you that you only had 30 days to submit a claim. BUT all of the things they say they cover, THEY DON’T. They will deny the claim. Then Ashley will transfer you around again to reach a supervisor and they will continue to repeat that there is nothing they can do except to have someone come out to fix it but you have to pay MORE MONEY out of pocket to cover the fix. I am genuinely warning people to not make the same mistake we did. We worked so hard to be able to afford this couch and it’s garbage now

Bought a sectional sofa with electric recliners less than a year ago. HUGE mistake. The cushions are breaking down. One of the recliners no longer works. Cheaply made. We didn't think it would last a couple years, hasn't even lasted a year. I do NOT recommend buying from Ashely. Will be looking elsewhere to replace this POS.

I was happy not to have someone over our shoulder whiled we shopped. We did end up purchasing a bedroom set. We enjoyed our experience and would recommend to family and friends

I walked in wanting to look at a bed frame I had been eyeing for about a week online for my daughter. I was ignored by everyone, yet other customers were being helped and approached. I saw about 3 employees standing around at this time that could have even offered a "hello". I'll just make sure to but elsewhere.
Store help was great. But i was told after i paid for merchandise that i had to drive an hour to south spanaway into a business center and then wait over an hour to pick up 2 bar stools. Never again. Need to pick up furniture from store i will but from . Too much of a hassle!
My sales associate was very knowledgeable on all the questions that I asked about the product. She was helpful and an enjoyable person to work with. I appreciated all of her help on the Sofa Chaise I purchased.

Purchased a coffee table yesterday. Micheal was the sales associate that helped us. I have no issue with people smoking weed on their own time but if you're gonna do it at work, make sure you don't reek like it when you come in. My oldest was getting antsy being in the showroom and he climbed up on a short entertainment table. Myself and his dad told him to get down immediately and michael decided to put in his two sense RIGHT after we were telling our son to get down. Know your place. I had a $50 off coupon that I got for signing up for ads or whatever - was never applied. Was also told we could just pick up the table from the warehouse in Spanaway Monday- Friday. Drove a truck all the way out to spanaway only for the warehouse to be closed because they only do customer pick ups Tuesday- Saturday. The girl I conversed with was super sweet and caring. Was very reluctant to come here and now I'm wishing I didn't.

This was my first visit and purchase from the Ashley Store. I experienced friendly and great customer service from the store sales people. They were very knowledgeable and easy to deal with throughout the enture interaction.

Friendly and knowledgeable sales rep. Answered all our questions. Ashley products were higher quality and I was apprehensive about looking with my budget in mind. Pleasantly surprised at choices I had. Just too bad that stock is not available in Olympia and if you pick up yourself then you have to drive clear up to Tacoma. Settled for home delivery which isn’t cheap and the computer app for securing delivery was not the best. I am still happy with my choices and the furniture is quality!

I came in looking for a TV stand advertised online. I was promptly helped by a nice gentleman and two lovely ladies who provided information to all my questions, from sizing to interchangeable pieces, and delivery. The final price was fair and included a 5 year warranty. Overall pleased with my purchase.
I thought I was getting outstanding customer service when we bought our couch and were assured that it would be delivered the following Wednesday. I advised our salesperson I really needed this couch with the queen sleeper by Thanksgiving. I was assured it was in stock and there would be no problem. The day of delivery, I was left hanging until 3:30pm before receiving a phone call that I would not be receiving my couch. In fact, it would now be delivered on December 3. I reminded my salesperson that the whole point of buying THIS COUCH was its availability prior to Thanksgiving. They refused to sell us the floor model. Alas, I was out of luck. My daughter and family came and everyone was uncomfortable. So thanks for that… Today is now December 3. My husband called a half hour ago to be told the couch will now not be delivered until December 10. Yes. You read that correctly. After all of this, WE had to call to find out the couch is delayed another week. Maybe we will be lucky and get an actual call the next time it is delayed. I regret trying to save money by going to Ashley. This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. Worst of all is the lack of contact. There is no excuse for the poor service given. At this point, I should ask for my money back but I really wanted this couch.

Although I had a 5 star experience purchasing my new dining table set, I must edit the complete experience as 1 star. When I purchased and paid cash for my set I was told it would be available for pick up on December 20, 2024. I had a family member that would be in town to help us pick it up. However, I then received three more calls moving the pick up dates further way. The dates were Dec. 20, Dec. 24, Jan. 3, and the last date given was Jan. 20. I asked that it be delivered for free due to the four date changes and my family would no longer be here to help with pick up. I was told I would be charged $100 for delivery. I was also told it was because of the holidays. I would expect much better planning and customer service from such a large and experienced company. I think free delivery in this situation is reasonable. This is very disappointing.

We went to the Ashley furniture store in Olympia yesterday and were there for 30-40 minutes looking, but never had a salesperson approach us despite the fact there were several just hanging around the desk area chatting. There is an Ashley item we want to buy, but we will get it elsewhere or online.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, but purchases from this store are not returnable. Make sure to try out the furniture you looking at for an extended period in the showroom. Once it gets delivered, there's no recourse if the furniture ends up causing aches and pains, etc.

Made my purchase back in August and was originally told my because of stock/travel my purchase would come in 2 deliveries. The first was supposed to be in 2 weeks and the next shortly following. Fast forward to now and it is November and I finally have everything. It ended up taking 4 deliveries to get it all because the order was screwed up and things were missing or wrong, and nothing came in “due to problems with the manufacturer.” Essentially I was sold something they did not actually have in stock and provided a guesstimate on when it might exist in the world all packaged like reality. Even the deliveries themselves were messed up and wrong. I would be told my delivery will be between a certain time and they would either be an hour ahead of that (with a few minutes warning) or they would be hours late (with no warning.) I did call Ashley and speak to them on a few occasions and was only ever provided “reasons” but never any kind of apology or anything to try and make it right. Did I get my furniture? Eventually yes and I am happy with it. Will I go back? I doubt it. There was nothing in this process or response to issues that said my business was valued.
Found the perfect dinning room set, they deliver and assemble !!! Great customer service !!! And great price . Will definitely make this my first stop now on for furniture . I also will be coming back for 2 bedrooms that need beds and dressers .

We bought a drop leaf table here. Everything went real smooth in the store. They were friendly, very professional, and it was delivered right when it was supposed to they put it up. Good took all the materials. We're very happy with it.
Manager ordered the wrong part for my bed now I have to return these 20ft side rails to the store. I have no means of being able to return them even thou it was their fault placing the wrong orders and there’s no way they can order me the right ones and picking these up without bringing this junk back into the store. Go to another Ashley’s IMO.

My husband and I visited the Olympia store to buy two recliners. They were helpful and not pushy which I appreciated. A little paperwork and we were done. We opted to have them delivered and set up in our home. Everything went well. We are enjoying our new chairs. Would recommend Ashley Home Furnishing.

This is the second time that I have been to Ashley and my first time working with Moriah who helped us purchase a couch. Moriah was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable…she has mastered the art of being there and not there through the buying process. Never did we feel pressured but she was never too far to answer any questions we had. Truly our best future buying experience yet to date. She has definitely earned our business for our future purchases.

My family and I went into this store the first time to purchase new couches and a bedroom set for my son. We had cash and were willing to make purchases for our new home. We left shortly, because no one wanted to help us and we left. Months later, we decided to go back and try it again. We went back and again, no one helped us. The other customers were being assisted, but again no one wanted to assist us, they wouldn't even address us to tell us someone would be with us shortly.
Kelley was so helpful, very informative and listened to what we were looking for and showed us all the right options. It was hard to pick just one. Thank you Kelley.

Our first purchase was made of two recliners and Davenport and we were served by Jaun who I believe now is the store manager, and I do not know his last name but kudos to him, he was a wonderful person to deal with, we feel we know his family. He’s just an amazing man and did a great job with our purchase. Recently, we just purchased a dining room set and was serviced by Kelly Langford. Kelly was so thorough, professional, warm, caring, and these days a breath of fresh air on her approach to our purchase. She not only took time to get to know us our needs and offering not the most expensive but the set that would fit our lifestyle and be comfortable for us. We have dealt with Ashley over the years and we will continue as long as you have this caliber of people working in your West Olympia store. I just bought a sofa from Marcus ! It is the perfect base for my new home and decor ! I had my SO go in and pick two sofas, he was greeted by Marcus , who showed him two options that he Really Liked and then he left the store and Marcus met me at the Door. He showed me the two Dave had chosen and his favorite was mine too!!!! Marcus Nickelson did such a great job helping us get the perfect Sofa ! My bed delivery has been canceled twice, on the day of the scheduled delivery. I have been trying to reach the store by phone for almost an hour and nobody answers - I keep being rerouted to customer service and they try calling the store with no success. At this point I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley in the future and will not be recommending Ashley to anyone.
We’ve ordered furniture since memorial Day since they had a sale going on and now we are still waiting at this time for confirmation on time and dates. There has been at least 7 times they rescheduled our delivery date this is ridiculous what kind of service is this!!!!

**EDIT** I’d like to add that the in store employee, Moriah, was VERY helpful, knowledgeable of the products, and patient with us as we chose our furniture. She gets 5 stars. Ordered our couch on 6/30/24. Soonest available delivery was for 7/16/24. (Which was fine) Four days prior to delivery date(today), we had to confirm our delivery, which we did. 24 hours prior to delivery date, we were suppose to get a 4 hour window of when it would be delivered. Never got that(yesterday). So we reached out to figure out what was going on and we were told that one of the pieces we ordered wasn’t in the warehouse yet and delivery would be scheduled once it arrived. (Hopefully 48-72 hours, we’ll see) 1. We wouldn’t have known any of this had I not reached out to figure out what was going on. 2. The delivery was already scheduled. Overall frustrating process with no communication. Don’t have a customer confirm a delivery when you aren’t going to deliver. Will update this review on actual couch once it’s delivered.

Staff were helpful and knowledgeable and we found what we needed. My only complaint was that they could not let me take a sofa pillow home to see the color in my space. A private furniture store was able to allow that. It would have been helpful.

Went in this afternoon to do some research on a sofa purchase and had a great experience. Moriah was very helpful and ran all the numbers for us. She was informative and kind and we didn’t feel pressured into buying anything today. When we come back to purchase the couch we will definitely be asking for her!
After 4 disappointing shopping trips to Ashley, our 5th visit Toy was a great success. After dealing with Jose yesterday (7/4/24) and Kelley and McKayla today (7/5/24) their customer service was impeccable. I will forever support your local store.

Great first experience so far though we haven't got our delivery yet(Wishing for No Delays!) The store has some good collections and individual pieces in their showroom. We went there to buy furnitures for our first home and Moriah is very helpful , informative and a great listener. We really tire her out trying to select what’s best and what we wanted as well for our first house. She really went above and beyond in giving us the best shopping experience and customer service without it being too stressful and pushy. Totally recommend working with Moriah!
It's no easy feat to find wall-hugging reclining theater seating with 2 seats and a center console for a 5th-wheel RV slide. Oh yeah, it also has to come in pieces to be assembled INSIDE the RV. See that? Complicated, but Jose was up to the task and we found one that worked for us, and it looks good, AND was under $1000... shocker! Thanks for your patience Jose!!

The couch with a broken frame was delivered roughly a year ago. Called, emailed, tried sooo many things, but never got a call back. Never ever got anyone to even answer the store phone. After a month, I just gave up. Also, was supposed to come with throw pillows and never got them. The quality of the couch is garbage. It seems this one was built at a slant, so you tip forward. Not at all how the display model was. I haven't paid a dime towards my bill, and I never will. This has been the most awful experience. I would have given it back a long time ago if I could have ever reached someone.

The in-store experience was great. We chose a bedroom set and set a date for delivery. The delivery people were professional. However, one of the pieces of furniture had a deep scratch in the wood that looked like a saw mark. It was not in a location where it would have been damaged in delivery. I immediately reported the defect and sent in multiple pictures. I was told that Ashley's policy is to send a technician out to try to repair the defect prior to an item being replaced. I explained that it would be impossible to restore a wooden item to "new" condition when there was a gouge taken out of the wood. They insisted. I took another morning off work to wait for the technician who did a quality job trying to fill in the groove. While the "repair" did improve the look of the defect, it is still obvious that it was filled in. The technician took photos and filled out a report indicating that he had done his best, but that it was not fully repaired to "new" condition. When I spoke to Ashley customer service again, they indicated that I would have to schedule another technician to come and look at the piece to decide what to do. This is extremely frustrating. The time off work for multiple technicians to look at an obviously damaged piece and the time on the phone with long periods on hold are unacceptable ways to address the issue of a factory damaged piece. Ashley should have simply offered to replace the item in the first place.
Moved to the area recently. Came in to look at couches and was greeted by Adam Claridge. He was pleasant and very helpful. He also provided us with movers to help us move the couch. Highly recommend this store and Adam. Thanks for all the help!

I lost my home to fire and had to go through the painful process of replacing everything in it, including all my furniture. Marcus was extraordinarily understanding and compassionate, giving two entire days of his time to walk me through what I’d need - and want - in each room. He made what could have been a continual tearful journey just a little bit brighter. Add to that the quality and comfort of Ashley furniture (which I had in my previous home), I wouldn’t recommend anyplace else.

Moriah, at Ashley Furniture Store near Capital on Cooper Point Road, is what every sales person should be. She was attentive without being overbearing, laid-back but responsive. She knew I wasn’t ready to purchase right at the moment and she didn’t ditch me. Moriah was friendly and answered my questions as best as she could, and when she couldn’t, she went and found the answer. A++ As far as the store itself, there are plenty of options at every price point. I have purchased many different pieces from Ashley furniture in the past. Having made many military moves I can say that Ashley furniture holds up. (Military moves are hard on furniture!) And then there is just every day life with children. The furniture still looks good and holds up. Great price point AND good quality.
Now that we have our furniture, we want to extend the biggest THANK YOU to Moriah from this store in Olympia. My husband and I came in with a few ideas and she spent hours with us trying to figure out what would work with our home. She looked at pictures of the home, listened to our needs and helped us find the best furniture for out living room, our dining room table and even a new bed. Over the course of 2 days I think she spent 5-6 hours with us making sure every detail was right. I have never connected to someone this well when shopping like this. She did not try to upsell us on things that we didn't need and she was funny and kind (even with our 2.5 year old with us the second day). If I could rate higher than a 5 then I would. She went above and beyond and we will absolutely shop here again, especially if we can work with her!

Today 4/1/2024 I went to the Olympia Ashley store on Cooper Point Rd SE to hopefully purchase a single recliner for me. As I am only 5 ft, my request to find a smaller sized, non motorized one in fabric was my main request. David Mino was my customer representative and listened to my requests , directing me to several locations in the store where I could browse at my leisure. After 20 minutes I had narrowed my search to 3 possibilities. The one I finally chose was just right but possibly not in the color I wanted. With help from two of his associates, that chair could be ordered in the color desired and my purchase with delivery dates was completed very quickly. I was impressed with David's knowledge of the furniture from the manufacturing side, his helpful analysis of why one of the chairs just didn't fit me well, and offerings of a warranty for five years for stain/repair were given. Information about the delivery process including days to my location delivery, time to be determined when notification call will be received was given orally and in a well written print copy. I had purchased from Ashley about 5 years ago bedroom furniture and one of the reasons I came back to Ashley was for the quality and service I received then. Thank you , David, and associates for making my purchase very easy and I am happy I finally made my decision today(been thinking about this for two years). Judy W from Union

Don't shop here. If anything goes wrong they give you a case #, nobody calls you or fixes anything. Tired of poor customer service. The delivery driver dropped part of the headboard on my son's bed set which causes cosmetic damage. For a brand new bed set that cost $2000 it's sad they didn't take care in the delivery process or building it. The delivery drivers left trash all around my house inside and out. White glove delivery isn't white glove it's leaving trash all over with broken Styrofoam everywhere. After going in to seek customer service I was only given a sticky note with a case # on it. They all seemed like they didn't care. Said I'd receive a call in a few days to hear nothing back. Won't be shopping or recommending using this business or going anywhere near another Ashley store. Seek out better customer service at Mor furniture. They actually listen, care, and take care of their customers.

I asked to see the lowest priced items of what they had because I’m on a budget and in a hurry. The employee decided to show me stuff that was not the cheapest. I found the frame I wanted myself. The employee didn’t help me in the way I requested but I’m satisfied with what I purchased, satisfied with the price and he was still a nice guy in the end. He was just too focused on the “sales” part of his job and less on customer satisfaction and requests. I’m still grateful for the service.

I had a wonderful experience at this store. I am moving out of state and was hoping to make a purchase here and have it delivered to my new place. There were several logistical issues the staff had to work through in order to make this happen and get me the financing I wanted. They went above and beyond working with me. Sales, the store manager, operations, and tech support all did a great job and made exceptions to help me out.
Ordered a bed and it took six months to get. Went into the store to see what was going on and they weren't much help.
This was a great buying experience for me. Not only do they have a very good selection, but the most important aspect for me was the sales person, Elizabeth (Olympia location). I hate Ashley furniture. I ordered a sofa for my son for Christmas and on the day it was to be delivered I found out they canceled the order because the delivery location was different from the address on my credit card. Who does that? Then I went to the showroom store and they said the had the sofa in stock and I could pick it up at the warehouse so I bought it again. Got home. Called the warehouse and they did not have it in stock but would be 2 weeks out!!! Bait and switch.

The price for the furniture was excellent based upon the quality, as was the personal service. This is one of the best experiences we’ve had in visiting a furniture store.

I bought many new furniture pieces from Ashley in Olympia, and although I am happy with the quality, I did receive an ottoman that is not intended for the couch that I purchased. I bought the smaller couch and the ottoman is only intended for the larger couch. It does not tuck into the space it should and it hangs over by several inches on each side. I called the store within 2 hours of delivery and was told there is nothing they can do. I needed to refuse it on delivery. When I told them that I didn’t know it was too big, until after delivery and pieces were fully arranged, they said sorry, no return or store credit. This is not a great business model. I was a first time Ashely customer, and now a last time customer. Makes me sad…don’t let the delivery team leave before you fully inspect and arrange to your liking, even if it takes hours.

Writing a google review because Ashley censors the product reviews on their website. My review here is uncensored and is referring to the Enola sectional collection. Absolutely awful! Cheap! We purchased this sectional October 2022, by Jan/Feb 2023 we were fighting with Ashley to honor the warranty we paid extra for. The cushions sagged and became flat in less than 3 months, thus causing the fabric to buckle/ripple. There are just 2 of us and we are fit and trim people; not overweight at all! Combined we weigh approximately less than 300 #'s.....a couch should not break down that fast. After months of hassles with Ashley (another issue altogether and we will not shop with them again - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!), we were finally sent 4 new seat cushions. Those cushions were great for about 2 months, if that. Ashley is not worth the headache nor hassle to get them to honor the warranty of this cheaply made product. Now in the last month, the couch creaks when you sit on it.....it's probably only a matter of time before it just completely fails. The ONLY decent part of this entire sectional is that the throw pillows are filled with down (the feather poke through the fabric), but at least they are actually holding up. This sectional is going to be replaced and thrown in the trash where it belongs. This was Ashley's response to why my review was not being published: "Our website is dedicated to product reviews and we appreciate your input on the product itself. As it’s a product review site. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we look forward to having you as a returning customer."

During our visit to Ashley in Olympia, Tim assisted my husband and me purchase some accessories. He was friendly, customer service-oriented, and eager to help—top-notch service.
Placed an order with this Ashley’s location and THREE times i scheduled the delivery for my furniture ONLY to receive a phone call EVERYTIME on THE DAY OF letting me know my delivery is being cancelled. After taking multiple days off to receive this shipment I STILL do not have my stuff. I will be cancelling this order and buying furniture elsewhere. Horrible communication overall do not recommend 0/5 stars.
My experience here was unsatisfactory. A couple of weeks before my husband & I decided we were gonna purchase a living room set from Ashley’s, we went in to the store to see what our options were and we were greeted by Joseph. Joseph provided excellent service, was very polite and patient when explaining our options and even gave us privacy to discuss our finances & deciding how much we want to spend on furniture. We ended up not buying that day because we felt we needed to “sleep on it” and think about it some more. It’s not a $100 purchase but a set that costs $7,000 plus. On October 13, 2023 (Friday), we went back to Ashley’s, only to find out that Joseph left for the day, but a woman (his co-worker) would be helping us and getting the transaction done. I do not know her name since she did not care to introduce herself to me. My husband and I approached the set we wanted since they had it on display in the store, we tried to discuss what options we want to purchase the set. This woman came & sat across from us with her tablet, acting impatient, looking annoyed, & would only speak to my husband but completely ignored me or disregard my opinion on the matter. I asked her (directly & making eye contact) what our options were and how the price compares if we opted out of delivery & pick it up ourselves, instead of talking to me she looked over to my husband & told him and even made sure she said if you finance it you would have to decide what you want to do whether 12 months, 24, or 60 with no interest since your name is on the account. I felt mistreated and I had to asked if my husband & I could have some privacy to talk. She still sat there instead of leaving the area. We had to walk elsewhere to talk. I was ready to leave the store but my husband was patient and continued to endure the rudeness & disrespect. Finally we decided on the options & the woman started & completed the process, got the set ordered, we paid part cash & card at the front desk where we encountered even more rude women. The whole experience we had was extremely disappointing, rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. They ignored me asking questions about delivery, and again, did the same thing the other woman did & only talk to my husband. These women treated me like my opinion doesn’t matter thinking I’m not paying but little did they know I am the one paying regardless of who’s name is on the account. We left with our receipt but I could not shake the feeling of how badly those women treated me like garbage & judging me because I did not look “fancy” like them or white like my husband. No, I'm not trying to use the race card. I only speak directly to the truth of my experience with these women and it is not the first time I've experience this type of treatment by white folks here in Olympia. I had a similar experience with Enterprise but that’s a review for another time. On October 15, 2023 (Sunday), I drove by The Olympia Furniture Company on Harrison. I went in with my mom & a nice lady (Tonya) greeted us. She was very polite, and respectful of my need to browse a bit. She let me & my mom walk around & look at furniture and finally I saw a set I wanted for my other living room. I waved at her, she came over and answered all my questions, even engaged in conversation with my mother making her feel included. I told her I want the set & I can do the transaction in store with them. As we walked towards the screen to input info, I saw what looked like the set we just purchased/ordered from Ashley’s. I stopped & told her, that is the set we got from Ashley’s. I wish I had know you sell it here. She said, we do sell Ashley furniture. I thought about the bad experience at Ashley’s & felt like they (Ashley’s) don’t deserve our business & I should cancel the order there. I went home, picked up my husband & went to Ashley & canceled the order & got our refund which they could not give back in cash but could only send it via mail as a check. We bought 2 living room sets from Oly Furniture for a few 100s less than the 1 set we almost bought from Ashley’s.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful help by Marcus Nickelson!! He's a great guy who helped me a lot!! I came into the store knowing what I wanted so that helped. I wanted a sleigh bed and he took me over to one, he asked me what size and we were done. Next I wanted a queen mattress so we went to the back of the store. He pulled out a pillow and some fabric that he laid down. I tried several and when he told me the price I simply told him my budget and he found me a perfect mattress that I could afford. Once the transaction was done I was curious to when it would be delivered. So I was told that Friday. Well Friday came and the delivery people were wonderful 😊 They took off their shoes each time they came in. They set up the bed quickly and set the mattress in. All in all it was a fantastic experience!! I'd definitely refer anyone to Ashley and Marcus!!

Horrible customer service. I had a couch malfunction and no longer close with bent hinges. After 11 months. Expensive couch too. They said no warranty, can't get replacement parts, we cannot help you. So I am poop out of luck. I will never shop here or recommend them to family or friends. Word of mouth goes a long way. Just a bad business to be involved with. Update... I responded twice to their response below. They refuse to answer me. Update they got a hold of me to once again say that they will not help me. Amazingly poor customer service. I'd give them no stars if they let me.

Marcus at the Olympia store was our first interaction with Ashley Furniture. He greeted us warmly even if he was overwhelmed with customers at the time. He was a no pressure salesman, and we left to measure our selection and our home. We came back and he gave us excellent attention, advice and made the process very easy. Our couch was delivered in a week, on the date it was supposed to, the texting and emails and tracking really helped too. The delivery men did a great job but our door frame was so small they accidentally ripped the cushion getting it in the home. I reported my tears and less than a week later a repair man came and did amazing work- couldn't even tell remotely it had two large tears. I highly recommend buying from Ashley- the post support has been quite amazing.

When I walked into Ashley’s furniture store I was immediately greeted by a salesman. I explained to him I wanted to buy a lift chair for my father who is terminally ill. He was very helpful and kind.

First time buying a brand new couch and Mary made it a fantastic experience! There was no pressure and we had time to look around and Mary was able to answer our questions. Knowing our couch could be delivered and set up for us was a Huge relief and we were happy to purchase a couch that will make our new apartment feel like home.

Jose Diaz greeted my daughter and I at the door and we told him we were looking around, Jose stayed away while we were looking but was available for questions by just looking over at him. He showed us a new couch and loveseat that I fell in love with and the tables as well. The dining room set I saw online (the reason we came in) is beautiful he totally sold me on that with the 4 chairs and bench, I love it. Jose also helped to save me money and sold me the repair/replacement plan that I am thrilled with. In a couple of weeks I am going in to find some bar stools and a tv stand I will be asking for Jose. Thank-you, so knowledgeable, so smart a great asset to any company.

My visit to the store was fine, the people were friendly and knowledgeable. However, later in the day my sales consultant called to inform me that my order had been cancelled by corporate. They indicated I can only buy the chairs in pairs. That is ridiculous!

I don't like the way the salespeople pounce on people as they come in the store and follow us around. Once I needed help, I didn't think the staff person was very friendly - just ok. Also she did not ask if we wanted to pay the extra $99 for premium delivery, but just added it to the total. Most places offer free delivery these days so I assumed it was included in the price. I have yet to see if I like the item I purchased or not and how good the "premium" delivery is.

We recently purchased a triple power recliner and triple power sofa at the Olympia, WA Ashley Furniture Store. The shopping experience was great. No pressure. Our sales person was very informative and took his time showing us the furniture we were thinking of getting. Answering all our questions. He was very friendly and enjoyable to work with. We found exactly what we were looking for and compared those pieces of furniture to similar furniture with lots of sitting, reclining and testing. We left the store satisfied that we chose the right furniture for our needs. We got a good deal and delivery was scheduled for 7 days later. The customer support and follow up calls were great. Ashley really made sure we were happy with our purchase and shopping experience. They also called to ask how our delivery experience was and to remind us we had 72 hours from date of purchase to report any issues. It was all good. We love the furniture. It is very comfortable and fit us well as we are both tall. As was the sales person, who helped direct us to the right size for us. If we need other furniture in the future we will definitely shop Ashley again. Best furniture shopping experience we've ever had. Thank you Ashley and Drew.

I went to the store in Olympia, looking for a dinette set for my mom. I met Devin, a very friendly and helpful young woman. I told her what I was looking for, and she took me right to it! I was very impressed with her knowledge of the stock. She quickly brought it up on her tablet for pricing and delivery info. I wanted to discuss the purchase with my brother, and told her I'd call the next day. Due to phone glitches with the store's call center, I had to go in person the next day. Devin wasn't there, so I met Joseph. He was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. I did ask him to make sure Devin got credit for the sale, he said he would. I HIGHLY recommend Ashley, and these two employees! Thank you so much.

I am so frustrated with the poor customer service all around. We chose Ashley. We spent much time searching & thousand dollars on furniture. The sales woman told us we would not have any delays getting the furniture, that the sectional + dinning set we chose was in warehouse, and would not get backordered. We have been sitting on hardwood floors for 50 DAYS AND COUNTING. It is SO FRUSTRATING. I cannot get any answers on where our order is, and when we will get it! I receive a phone call every couple days saying that my couch is not going to be delivered on it's scheduled delivery day. I have had guessingly 6-7 delay phone calls and each time the staff is completely short with me and has no regard for the customer or a solution. I have had to rearrange my schedule 6-7 times with three jobs, a toddler, preschool, daycare, two dogs, tball games. I have had to drop my plans that many times for Ashley to deliver my furniture and they never come. When will I get my couch? How many more times are you going to call me and ruin my complete day?

Ashley furniture. Is one of the worst experiences we have had buying furniture. They took our money told us when it was going to be delivered. Changed the delivery date for two weeks out. We complained they changed the delivery date to one week out. Said they would deliver today. Only made half the delivery and told us the other half would be at the end of May, we are really considering having them come pick up this half. And we will get our money back and buy from someone else.

One of the reasons we bought this from the store was the quick delivery. We confirmed the delivery date twice via email then they rescheduled it. I could have ordered it cheaper on Amazon (with free delivery) and it would have gotten here at least a week sooner.
We just finished building our home and needed to furnish the entire house. We shopped all over and could not find anything we liked. We stopped at Ashley Furniture in Olympia on Copper point Rd and the second we walked in we were greeted and welcomed. There wasn't much there that we didn't like so it was very hard to narrow it down. We spent most of the day on Saturday moving chairs and furniture around with the sales associate Elizabeth A. She was so helpful and sweet. We came back Sunday to make a few changes. We are super excited about our purchase and can't wait to receive it. We also learned that they will set everything up for us and put it together for free. After our purchase Bethany Martinez the General Manager came to greet us and thank us for our purchase. We had a great experience and will shop here again in the future.

I wish this was a positive review, but it’s not. The in-house customer service at the Olympia location is great, however, minor errors in ordering create disasters for the customer. My husband and I recently ordered a dresser from a nice gentleman in store and went to pick it up at the warehouse at a later date. The order submission was wrong on their end and we picked up the wrong dresser. The price was the same on our invoice, so we thought we were good to go (no picture on our order receipt). We immediately called to notify the store of the issue and they simply said they would refund us, re-order our dresser, and we would need to return the dresser we picked up and bring it back. We asked to set this up for the next day, but that wouldn’t work. I feel that a simple phone call on their end could make this happen, however, this would take too much time on their end and they could be missing out in floor sales. They told us they MAY get back to us today (they close at 9). I feel that the common courtesy of the store would be for them to deliver to us free of charge and pick up the current dresser they mistakenly ordered for us. Easy peasy! I dislike that Ashley furniture treats us as the inconvenience! I love their selection, but I do not recommend their services. Customer Service is a HARD PASS after sale is made. This happened with a separate order as well. We bought a couch and a cushion was ripped. We wanted to replace the cushion, or all 3. We tried calling the store and customer service 5 different times. Five! I finally called a different furniture store that carried the same couch. I made the cushion order in 5 minutes! Highly recommend JR Furniture over Ashley Furniture. I pray you don’t have to handle anything with customer service. Thumbs down.

We found what we thought we were looking for online but before committing we so drove to the store to confirm. Inside the store we found a sofa and loveseat set on special for Veteran's Day. While talking to the salesperson we were told only the sofa price was reduced, the loveseat was regular price, but they would give me a military discount on the loveseat. We had a contract drawn up, paid for the items and scheduled a delivery date. Our only concern is the delivery folks make delivery on the scheduled date.

Update - It got worse! After several failed pickup attempts (wrong address/ tried to deliver me more chairs/ wouldn't take the ones I already had), I disputed the charge with my cc company. Sad that this is my one and only dispute ever. The company granted the refund and eventually Ashley picked the barstools up. It took months and months to return chairs that were delivered to me incorrectly. Not cool. I made a purchase at the Tacoma Ashley’s store and the wrong item was delivered. I live in Olympia and when I tried to return my local store, the Olympia manager, Tanner, was unwilling to assist me because I didn’t purchase the item from his store. He went as far as saying I’d need to drive them to the store’s warehouse, over an hour away. It would be hard to imagine this is a company wide policy. It’s been one issue after another with this order and this puts a pin in any future shopping here. I don’t recommend this company or their customer service.
Scott at the customers service desk went above and beyond to help me get my part covered when it was sent to an old address ! He worked on this problem for at least 2 weeks if not 3 weeks before he tracked everything down got in touch with the right people to get my couch repaired. I am no longer leant to the left when I use my couch. It was a VERY BIG MESS. Between me MOVING and Ashly furniture store having PHONE COMPLICATIONS for a week. Customer service has been horrendous; you deal with people from over seas that have no bloody clue what is going on. Trying to speak to a person in store is a nightmare as you get rerouted to the oversea company. After having multiple issues with this whole process I have yet to receive my full order or any updates. If you don’t mind waiting 2 months for your order or only receiving 5 of the 6 chairs you ordered then this company is for you.
Good selection of furniture
I needed to purchase some furniture for our new home in Washington state but we are currently in California. Andrew and Tanner were awesome trying to get my order to go through while I'm out of the area. It took a lot of work and patience to get the order paid for, but we got it done!! Andrew and Tanner were both dedicated to completing the purchase and displayed customer service that we don't see a lot of these days. I'm looking forward to receiving my purchase and buying additional items from Ashley. Kudos to both Andrew and Tanner for a job well done.
The initial experience was okay. I felt chased by the associate through the store as I was browsing, but I think that's required by their training. After choosing my furniture, everything that was in the warehouse, I had no issues with getting delivered and installed. However if they tell you anything has to be ordered or shipped in, do not believe their estimate. I'm going on 4 months for more than half my furniture. That's frustrating, but the worst part is the updates they say you will get are non-existent. You get one email every now and then that says they're working hard to fulfill your order, but it has no dates and no other details. If you actually want to know the status of your order, you need to sit through the call tree until you can get customer service or use their online chat bot until they put you through to a real person. Apparently you cannot track in store purchases from their website. Overall, the lack of communication and overall experience has made me not inclined to work with them again.
Very unhappy with service. My elderly mother spent $7K yesterday and they forgot charger her for delivery. The sales manager refused to take a CCARD over the phone for the delivery fee so now my disabled, elderly mother in a walker and on oxygen has to go back to the store to swipe a card. Come on Ashley-we can order a pizza over the phone but you can’t take care of this with some customer service?
Went in to buy a dining room set and they had a weekend sale where you get a discount if you finance any ready to ship purchase. It was a hefty discount, so I decided to go this route despite having the funds to buy outright. The person that helped us was actually very nice and helpful. Now, why the one star? Well, now I have received the bill from financing. Turns out, they opened an Ashley credit card for me. NO ONE mentioned that I was opening a credit card. I will never be shopping here or any Ashley furniture again. It makes me more angry with how nice the associate was, they had to have known they were duping me. Terrible people, terrible company. Shop elsewhere.

Staff was nice enough, but the show room was mainly just a show room. Couldn't really order anything as stock / arrival times were all indefinite or months out.
Had a great, easy, fun experience yesterday buying a couch. Our salesperson, Nichol, was informative but not too pushy and helped us land on the right choice. She was very upfront about different taxes, fees, options etc and we never felt pressured into anything. She was friendly without being overly familiar. We decided to be grownups and wait the 2-3 months it will take to get our perfect couch but I am confident it will be worth it. Thank you Nichol!
I recently purchased a power recliner from Ashley in Olympia. I specifically asked the sales woman how one got out of the recliner should there be a power failure while the recliner was completely reclined and she said that wasn't a problem because the recliner used a power pack so didn't plug into the wall outlet. You can imagine my surprise when the recliner was delivered and the installer plugged it into the wall outlet. He said the power pack had to be purchased separately but the sales woman did not mention this nor did she give me any information about the cost of said power pack which I have to purchase separately when from what she said I was led to believe came with the unit. Be careful about what they tell you because they don't give you full details of the item you are buying. I have purchased other things from this store and never had this problem so the sales person I delt with this time either lied or just doesn't know the products. In any event, I was misled and no longer trust this store.
Don’t buy anything from this store!!!! Worst customer service ever!! Bought a table from them and when I got it home it was broken, I’ve been trying to return it now to get a new one for over two weeks and all I keep getting is the same answer “we submitted a form for a return but it will take a few days” then when I call to see if it’s been done they tell me that the form was never submitted!! Also don’t buy the warranty from them either because they will deny your claim. We also bought couches about 3 year’s ago and they are already falling apart.
I have always gone to Ashely for all of my furniture needs. I bought a couch April 1 and was told it could take up to 12 weeks to be delivered. Called to check and was told it was pushed until June 15 but then heard nothing from them. So I called again and now I'm being told August is my estimated delivery date. I will never be shopping here again. Unless you're willing to wait 6 months or longer for your furniture, I would go elsewhere.
Don’t ever buy furniture from this place! The fabric on there couches are horrible and cheap made. I bought a 5 year protection plan and I’ve only had the couch for 7 months and it’s tearing all over and they won’t fix wear and tear.
The store is nice and staff friendly. I ordered a loveseat but I didn't like how it looked in my house so I called Ashley and they said I can reselect my couch. They also told me that I would not have to pay a delivery fee or worry about the protection plan that it would transfer. I selected a new loveseat and expected to pay the difference as explained to me. After many discussions over the phone I was assured that I would pay the difference which came out to about $400. I was satisfied until I saw what I was charged. They changed me 4 times that amount. This is becoming too much. More to come after it is resolved.
Ordered furniture in January was told 14 weeks for delivery which would have been the end of April, it is now June 14th and I have a Potential warehouse date of June 25th however you can purchase the same piece online and it will arrive in 7 days. The store has no answer for This, The counter staff are unable to help you and the sales people are more concerned With commission then actually helping you. Actually furniture is great furniture however shop somewhere else if you can.

Me husband and I ordered a serving table back in October. It took many delays and calls with rude customer service. We were offered a refunded discount but would only get it after delivery. Finally had it delivered at the end of April, but still not recieved the money back we were told we would get and it's been over a month. I keep calling asking what is going on and I keep getting the same response that they are still processing the money back. It should have only taken 7 days max, but it's now been a month. This whole process has ruined any chances of any continue business. Which sucks because we were looking into buying a whole new bedroom set with them but not now. Not with how they conduct their business. I just want the money back so I don't have to deal with them any longer...
Great experience, I had a fun time picking out my living room set, but not specifically towards Ashley Furniture Home Store, nobody seems to make a nice sofa/couch with power recline that is fabric, they seem to be leather for the most part
Came into the store to buy a couch on clearance and was told that we could not buy it alone and that it would have to come with a coffee and two end tables. I asked the manager if we could pass on the tables and just buy the couch because they were hideous and was told "not possible". 2 days passed and we came back to the store to check some other items and saw that the couch was gone and that the ugly tables were still there. One of the staff told us the couch was picked up and that the customer would come back for the other items which is highly suspicious. I would avoid this store entirely. They lie and items that you may want are weeks out from being delivered!
I honestly cant give a good review. In store they were very helpful we found what we were looking for and more and ended up spending alot of money. We purchased a couch which was in stock and ready for delivery within 3-5 days, a dining room table and server. That was on end of March as of 5 May we are still awaiting delivery of this couch (though they let it slip they are backorder for a piece) they still have it on display as in stock and ready for delivery in the store. I told them that this was false advertising. We have went back to the store and engaged several times with promises of updates and nothing. Ashley has great looking furniture but horrible after purchase communication.
GET READY FOR A LONG WAITING UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR FURNITURE! I purchased a desk as my son's Christmas gift on 11/27/2021 (delivery estimated in two months) and haven't gotten it delivered yet as of 5/1/2022. I understand that it could be delayed as they told me when purchased. But what makes me really upset is that no one has called me to let me know that the delivery would be delayed. I'm the one who had to call, wait for a long time to talk to a customer service and hear that it would be delayed for another two months (still not guaranteed). I'm going to the store to cancel my the order today and will not purchase Ashely furniture again. Ashely, Thank you for wasting my time and disappointing my son. P.S. I don't even know why I still have to click one start to post this.
Bought and paid for a sofa in Jan 2022. Still nothing and no follow up from store. Seems once you sign the bottom line and give them your money, you're on your own. Hoping it show up. Lesson learned. Don't shop here.
We had an amazing experience this last weekend at Ashley’s. Our salesman’s name was Andrew and he was very knowledgeable and personable. And he didn’t seem to mind that we couldn’t make up our mind. He was very patient and even helped us with some ideas. We will definitely be going back and asking for him.

While the staff in the store and the ASHLEY phone support staff were extremely helpful (that you Patricia). The delivery was horrid. The drivers broke limbs off my tree TWICE. didn't bring the entire CONFIRMED order. left before I agreed to keep an incomplete order. Left without saying anything or having me sign for ANYTHING. Was then told all my remains things were back ordered. Upon me saying I would be refusing the entire order the warehouse manager suddenly has my things available and want to know if I will keep the order if they can deliver it first thing in the morning. Because of the unprofessional nature of this deliver I reused the ENTIRE order. Ultimately, while the in store staff is amazing and help as are the phone staff, I would steer clear of shopping here until they change their 3rd party deliver partners.

Ordered and paid for 2 end tables and a coffee table in September 2021.We were told they would be in by December 2021. Well December2021 came and went ,So in January 2022 we were told the end of February 2022, this was we went in to store 2 days later and were told it would be in May or later, at this point we said we wanted to cancel and get a refund .They said sure if you do it in store it would be faster so that's what we have done.. As of today Feb8th we have not been able to get our refund. They don't answer their phone or their e-mails. I have sat on phone for 1 hour and 2 minutes and finally hung up.I am on hold with them as I am writing this .A few years ago I bought a Floor lamp from them along with a set of living room furniture from Silverdale Washington. When it arrived it was broken returned to store never to get my other floor lamp or a refund.. I thought well never again from Silverdale ,so I went to Olympia and nothing again . This time I am saying something., I will not let it go .I now know several people who even out of state have had the same problem with this company .Don't buy from them .I don't want anyone else to go through this . My experience was so horrible. This was the first thing i was approved for to help start building my credit. I was so excited. Getting myself a really 1 of a kind bed frame. They had wrote delivery time and date on my slip. I spent time getting the room ready. They never showed upor never called. When i finally got tired of watching out window finally called.Oh my delivery was another 2 months away.it got delayed.nobody bothered to call or notify me in any way. I checked. I called n complained to the manager, she acted like it was my fault i should have known in it wasnt coming for 2 more months.and when she asked if there was a delivery date on my receipt. I told her there was. She insisted that there wasnt. I paid a good couple hundred down that day. She tells me they'll cut me a check for my cancellation and it should arrive in 4 to 6 weeks. All around rude poor communication and lack of common courtesy. Horrible experience!!!
I would not recommend buying anything through Ashley HomeStore. We have taken several days off for deliveries and they never show up, our furniture has been pushed out months with no explanation. We were asked if they could store most of it in our garage so it doesn’t go to another customer, and even this delivery didn’t show up... And to top it off we have no estimated arrival This place is a joke

I have been waiting for my furniture since February 2021. Every time I get informed it's on its way they change the delivery date. I am upset that I have been waiting 9 months for my furniture. They would not allow partial delivery because I financed it but paid it off after the purchase. Customer service just keeps taking me in circles and and tells me they cant do anything about the delivery date change. I was super patient but I got rid of my furniture be ause I was informed that it was for sure going to be delivered last month and then never got a confirmation or even notification that the date was changed again. I don't want to cancel the order because if I'm having this much of an issue getting my furniture how long is it going to take to get a refund. I would just like my furniture. The excuse this year is covid but I know people that bought from there and did get their items. They also keep trying to get me to schedule it during the week which is not possible at this time. Worst experience with customer service and feel like I just keep holding my breath on getting my furniture.

This has been an awful experience! I would not recommend this store or this company. I ordered furniture to be delivered and for the first time in my life payed for delivery and for a warranty. The furniture was delivered and the delivery crew broke and damaged both items upon delivery. I had to wait for a new chair and the warranty tech came the following week. He informed me they would be sending me the part only to not submit the pictures he took thus the part was never ordered not realizing this I waited a month before calling. I finally called only to find out that there is not replacement parts for this couch you must order a new couch assuming the customer service tech took care of that for me again i waited. Only to find out there was not a couch ordered. finally fed up with furniture that is broken and I am paying for, I requested a refund and return of the items and was told to call back to get the status of my request. I called back and was told it was never submitted. I then was disgusted and frustrated transferred to the customer escalations team manager Jamal who told me he would have answers for me in regards to my frustration the inconvenience and what shotty customer service this is he was going to follow up on a discount or return however never called me back then I was passed off to the store to discuss the progress and told that the manager had my contact info email and phone and was going to contact me only to also never get a call back. There is no follow through, concern for the customer or quality of customer service at this company. They blow alot of smoke however once you have purchased the items they do not give a care as to the quality or your time wasted trying to get what you payed for. It is a customer service maze and a GIANT waste of money and time. Worst company experience I have ever had would not recommend to anyone!
Ordered a rug in May. Called in August to set up delivery. Date has changed numerous times for last 3 months. Olympia Wa store doesn’t answer their phones. Called numerous times & put into automated system with wait times of an hour or more. No online agents can give info. Can’t talk to live people & customer service is non existent!! Never buy from Ashley Furniture again
Wendy greeted and took care amazing care of us. My wife, sister-in-law, and I came to Ashley’s looking for numerous furniture items to place around our home. DO NOT BUY THR INSURANCE … they will tell you in store that the insurance covers any and all damage to your item for 5 years … well I called and that’s not correct they just come clean your item … I have been waiting almost a year for a refund on the insurance and no one is giving me answers… save your time and go somewhere else… Original review “Wendy was extremely helpful to help us get a new table !! Didn't have a great experience. Also the furniture is too expensive for the quality you receive. There shouldn't be cardboard in the arms of any couch in my opinion. We ended up returning the couch we had ordered and still waiting on our refund. No one has ever called during the process. We had to call over and over even when we are told we will get a call back. Even if requested online, no call. I've also been hung up on several times, I'm guessing because helping someone must be too difficult. I could go on about my disappointment in this company. Still waiting on my refund and to actually find out how much they are giving me back. Last I was told I was being shorted almost $800.
Wendy went above and beyond while we wondered the store for over two hours! She took my color suggestions and price point and showed us incredible options. We ended our visit with everything needed for both our family room and living room. We will be back for sure. Next we will be bedroom shopping! Thank you Wendy 😊 ❤
I would give them ZERO STARS. It's about a little after 1 PM now. My wife and I walked into this store looking to spend a serious amount of money. We spent 18,000 the day before at Mors. We were in their store a total of 40 minutes with NOT ONE employee asking if we needed ANY assistance. Meanwhile, the sale associates were breaking their necks to help the other customers. I don't know if it is a race thing, (as they didn't ask an elderly black couple if they needed assistance as well) or if in fact they thought we didn't have money. All I know is we were IGNORED. Great job Mors, you earned EVERY bit of that 18,000 yesterday. Guess we will come and visit you again. Congratulations Ashley, you just lost anywhere between 15 to $20,000! They won't reply to this... they only respond to praise.
Thank you so much for helping me and my Mom make a decision on canceling with Mor Furniture and sharing your experience as a sales person ( Kelly ) that we can cancel the furniture if any furniture place hasn’t delivered any of the items we ordered. And yes we was able to cancel them out and go with Ashley HomeStore in Olympia. My Mom was very grateful and I know you will honor the date you and my Mom set for the delivery next month. Myself have shopped in the past at Ashley’s in a different state and the customer service is excellent and as well the delivery people who come to delivery the furniture. My wife and I came in looking for furniture and we were more than happy with our experience. We found everything that we needed plus it also helped to have such great customer service. Syrena took care of all our needs without being too pushy as we have experienced in other stores.
I had an enjoyable time shopping for furniture at the Olympia Ashley Home Store. Phillip was very helpful in finding the right power loveseat for me. Also found a tv entertainment center with a beautiful pebble fireplace insert. The furniture was 50% off. The furniture was delivered & set up in my house in 2 days.
They were very busy but Tim K. was very helpful. He was able to juggle me and two other customers and still get me out the door quickly. I would use Ashley HomeStore in Olympia again.
NEVER! NEVER! Go here!! Long Story short, and I mean looong story. I received wrong parts to my daughter's bed set. I received a broken couch. I paid for set up, that was not set up. I tried to cancel my order, which they replied, they could not give my money back to me. My husband had to set up our bed himself because the delivery driver (who is not affiliated with the store, btw) would not set it up, nor take it upstairs. When i asked for my delivery and setup money back, they only granted me a portion, which they will not release to me without a bank letter and to top it all off this store apparently isn't even affiliated with Ashley Homestore. So I don't even know who they are affiliated with!? They also do not have an office phone and you have to speak to a third party person who speaks to the store for you. Moral of this story is, please think twice before you go here to the West Olympia Store!
After arriving in the store the sales person told us that everything would be 50% off. We picked out a sofa and two chairs. When checking out, we were told the total and I asked why the chairs were not 50% off. They stated that they were managers special so they could not be discounted any more. They were listed at $700 each. We ended up only getting the couch. After leaving the store I looked online only to find that Ashley furniture website has the chairs listed at half of the $700 at $340. Amazon also has the exact Ashley furniture chairs for $340.

The customer service is terrible. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted. The service provider was very rude and seemed confused. It took over an hour to order the item. Delivery was supposed to happen today. I just called and waiting on hold for 30 min for them to tell me even though I received a confirmation email and delivery confirmation the delivery is not coming today. I stayed home from work to receive the delivery. The process has been a headache with Ashley from start to finish. I will not be ordering anything from them again.
My wife and I had a great experience working with Hannah at the Olympia store on the purchase of our bedroom and dining room furnishings.
Would not recommend. I purchased a custom sectional in Nov 2020, the final piece was delivered in Feb 2021, after approximately a month, we noticed one of the back cushions was losing its shape and that the brackets were not aligned properly. We had someone come out and take a look at it and fix them. The other problem that we had was when we opened one of the cushions, we discovered there was a hair type substance inside. It did not match the white cushion type filling that was in the other cushions. Contacted the store we purchased from, was told that they would send us a new cushion. I had received a call from the corporate office to be told that they would not be replacing the cushion because the brackets on the couch were in ‘good condition’ according to a technician that had come out to look at it. This is with purchasing the 5 year warranty to cover anything that may happen to the couch in the allotted time. Olympia, WA
It was ok, have not been to the other store in Tacoma, but I imagine it's similar. Seemed like a long arduous process to get the order completed, and now that I'm home looking at my receipt, I don't see 2 things that I had discussed with the sales associate. That's frustrating. Have purchased furniture at other retailers in the past, I don't know that I'll return to Ashley in the future due to my recent experience.
A very helpful young sales person, Phillip Hammond, quickly found exactly what we wanted. The equally helpful customer service person, LaVonda (sp?) easily changed the delivery date for our convenience. We were VERY HAPPY with the experience! Thank you 😊
When we purchased outdoor furniture in 2019, we purchased a 5 year furniture protection plan for $99.99. Today I went to submit a plan and GBS the company that covers problems said the plan I purchased was for INDOOR furniture. They were very apologetic and said the sales person made the error. The sales person sold this to us with the furniture! They should know what covers indoor or outdoor furniture! This feels like a bait and switch. I will visit the store personally to "educate" them!

Who knew one could have so much fun and learn a lot about furniture all at the same time. I spent a good amount of time last Friday at the Ashley Home Store in Tacoma. I was treated exceptionally well by Adriana as well as the sales mgr Diondra! They explained to me the lines available, showed me everything my ever changing mind wanted to see and assisted with design and color matching all at the same time. They listened closely to everything I was asking for and at the same time provided some very valuable insights! Wow! Something that I for sure never expected. I have never, ever gotten this type of attention or service from the very high end stores. Thank you ladies for everything!👍😁😁🥰😘

Eugene was very helpful when shopping today! He was very friendly and gave great advice about the area and things to do (we just moved to Olympia). We really liked the couch we ordered, which was suggested by Eugene. After purchase, however when I called the automated line for the order, the couch was going to be delayed to late August (2.5 weeks after the expected 4 weeks). We also noticed the online Ashley Homestore website price didn’t match the in-store one. The customer service woman (I think Tsouza looking at the receipt?) at this store was also very understanding and accommodating. Additionally, she informed us that the online Ashley Homestore is a separate entity, and did offer to price match, but after considering the drivers delay, we can’t sit on the ground for 6.5 weeks and ultimately had to cancel the order all together. Be sure to check the website so they can price-match for potential savings. The reason for 4 (not 5) stars is the delivery delay and also the price discrepancy between the online website and in-store (though they were going to price-match). Eugene and Tsouza were extremely helpful and accommodating and I highly recommend them if you are shopping here!
I was greeted upon entering the store by an associate who then took me around to see the specific types of recliners I was interested in. They were very helpful and patient with me as I hobbled my broken back around and then took my time deciding which one I wanted. Great service, very helpful, and kind employees. Also, Great time to go this weekend with their sale going on!

In store customer service was good, she got us a great deal. Only 4 stars because couch won’t be delivered for another 2-4 weeks, but not really the store’s fault.
Our family purchased a complete couch set about 1 year ago. Our showroom shopping experience was good but the warranty they sell is completely worthless! They sell you on the ability to have any spot, stain or tear repaired at no cost and in our home. However when I submitted a claim to have a stain cleaned, it has taken them 1-3 months to respond to each email I send. It's now the end of June, 8 months after submitting the claim, and we're still waiting for any indication of a timeline to get the cleaning completed. Yikes! Yes the warranty company is separate from Ashley - However they should hold their vendors to a high standard just like they do for vendors who make the furniture.
UPDATE 25AUGUST2021: I'm changing my rating today based on my 2nd experience with Ashley HomeStore furniture and delivery. The 2 guys who brought my Marsilona kitchen island were right on time (window was 830 a.m. - 1230 p.m.), super nice and friendly, and offered to bring my new item (very heavy item, I might add) all the way into my dining room even though I didn't order any assembly, just the free doorstep delivery. I had them drop it off just inside the front door. I appreciate this SO MUCH to have this brought inside so my husband and I can just assemble it later. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful and I very much appreciate their professionalism! I can't wait to put together our new item later today. 😊 It looks like from my delivery receipt that the driver was Manuel Del Moral. Unfortunately I don't know who the other man was, but I hope they receive my positive comments and appreciation! Great job. One star review: I ordered a Marsilona 8-person dining table and six matching chairs online. The chairs were delivered a week early, even though I set up my delivery to be on a certain date (25JUN2021). It's a good thing I was home and it wasn't raining. I normally work out of town so these chairs would have sat out in the rain until I returned. My 200 lb table was delivered today as ordered. I did not order the furniture assembly since it was just a dining table. I did order the delivery to my front door though. For a $2000 purchase I expect to be treated like a valuable customer and have this delivery brought inside of my front door. The delivery people arrived this morning on time, however they insisted that my delivery should go to the sidewalk and sit there. We debated for ten minutes while I stood in front of my front door showing them how I am one person incapable of carrying a 200 pound table up 3 steps and through a front door. I was absolutely incredulous that this man thought it was acceptable, pointing literally to my sidewalk, and telling me that my delivery was for that location only. I informed him repeatedly that it was a front door delivery, therefore the table was to be brought to my door. Finally after staring at each other, he called his helper and they brought the table just inside of my front door. As they should have. Everything else about my online order was easy and convenient, and I was kept apprised of the delivery process by text message or phone call. Please speak to your delivery staff and inform them that your customers are valuable, they have normally invested a significant amount of money in your business, and front door delivery does not mean sidewalk delivery. It means delivering the products to the customer's front door, and providing assistance to bring the items inside the door if it is an unusually heavy item. You know, like a 200 pound dining room table! Unbelievable. :(
I was so excited about my sectional sofa purchase (Jan 2019). It was exactly what I wanted, and fit our space nicely. The delivery was quick and efficient. Fast forward to Oct 2020, and the corner wedge seat broke. I went through the appropriate channels to make a warranty claim. Here we are in June 2021, and the warranty company sent a purchase order to Ashley Homestore in March 2021, but the Ashley warranty dept is yet to do anything with it. I have called every department possible, I’ve gone into the store, still no progress. It’s pretty disappointing, and I definitely wouldn’t purchase from them again.
They were extremely helpful and patient with me to make sure my furniture will be delivered to my within 24 hrs of moving in.(PCS Move) All the way from KS to WA. Time zone was never a issues and obstacles we faced they made it happen. Can’t thank them enough!
UPDATE : It's been over two months and still have not received a call from Ashley's. So I called up the store as I was told my furniture would be in at the beginning of August from their customer service rep.. Apparently a delivery date has been set up but I have not been contacted to confirm if that date works.. good stuff. Also it turns out my furniture won't be delivered for another month. Even better... Delivery dates might take a little longer because of covid but 3 months to receive my furniture when I was told 2 weeks? Step up your game Ashley's HomeStore and stop giving awful delivery estimations. The store was nice and the sales rep was friendly. Overall the experience was alright.. We were told the item we purchased would be at their warehouse in two weeks and we'd receive a call for delivery. After waiting almost three weeks and not receiving a call, I decided to give them a ring myself and see how things were going. Unfortunately, the timeframe we were given is off by almost two months as the item is backordered.. I guess this type of situation happens frequently.. atleast that's according to the customer service rep (she was friendly and helpful though, daps to her). I'm hoping the rest of the process plays out alright because my wife and I decided to wait it out. I just wanted to let future customers know that shipments may not arrive as quickly as the store rep might say...
Ashley HomeStore is always clean and well staffed. I have visited this store numerous times, each with pleasant results. Hannah and Ronnie really went out of their way to take care of me and ensured all my questions were fully answered. I will return to Ashley HomeStore for my future furniture needs.
The delivery was awesome, the delivery guys were fast, used foot protection which was great since it was starting to rain, and were quiet while my wife was on the phone working. They got the fancy recliner I had purchased set up fast and tested the controls to ensure they worked. I was courteous and offered them some bottled water. Awesome delivery.
This is the absolute worst place you could get furniture from. I order a couch 3.5 months ago and they tell me it’s not ready after they promised it would be ready. The wouldn’t sell me the display model and gave me horrible customer service. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Didn’t show up for the date they said we would have our furniture, no call about it then gave another date and called on the date to change it and just called again and with another date! Three times they changed it and we just canceled. A couple months ago we purchased the furniture we never received
Buyers beware, they will sell you open box return items at full price and still charge full price plus the extra delivery/assembly fees even though its been assembled prior. Good luck even trying to talk to customer service to get this fixed. I tried that and still a few months later no help. They gave me a case number offered refunds they never processed and now don't even respond to me. :( not a great customer service at all.

Bought what we thought was good furniture. Delivery left us chairs with misfires parts and uneven legs. Many phone calls later to Ashley's customer service only resulted in promises to call us back with help that never materialized. Finally after 45 days of trying to resolve this tried to escalate this to the store management resulted in them blaming us for doing something to the chairs. Fed up, I took the chairs back to the store and store manager promptly refunded us, the only decent customer service we received, what we should have done in the first place. You been warned, maybe you get furniture that works but if you don't, you are for a nightmare of broken promises.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Bought a sofa and recliner from them. Delivered a broken sofa. Waited few days for a tech to show up and fix. Was talked into leasing from them (could have paid off in the store, but wanted to build some credit). Set up auto pay so that it would be paid off in 90 days. But apparently the auto pay in store isn't calculated to pay it off in the 90 days. 90 days goes by, didn't miss 1 payment, and found out that the lease fee for over 90 days is 2000 dollars!!! The same as the sofa!!!. Called to talk to a DM and they apparently are not avaliable for minimum 2 weeks.
I found the couch I wanted at a great price. I went in knowing what I wanted and it was nice that they had a great selection to choose from. Side Note: I found out that Ashley Home Furniture online is a separate company entirely from the brick and mortar stores, which I find totally confusing. My review is for the brick and mortar store in Olympia, WA. Ashley Home Furniture online was a horrific experience that almost caused me not to shop at the brick and mortar store.
Horrible service! We ordered 2 pieces of furniture with them that came in with defective parts and made the furniture unsafe for use. We asked for either a refund or an exchange in furniture models and they said no to both! They wouldn't budge on making us comfortable and we STILL have not gotten the replacement parts or any sort of compensation (it's been 2 months). Will never be returning here for business ever again! Save yourself the headache of going through all this and buy elsewhere!

If you are a person of color, or any minority at that, do not visit this store. manager pulled every employee to follow my partner and I around the store and not just within eyesight. I have never written a review but this is by far the worst I have ever been profiled. If I could give zero stars I would. The sales team was great. Nice, friendly and welcoming. Even hooked us up with deals. I just bought my first home and with it, my first couch! I purchased my new furniture in the middle of February. I was told that I could expect deliver on or before May 12th. I didn’t mind, since I’d be moving in and getting the living room painted and such. Well... May 12th came and I hadn’t heard anything, so I called for an update. I was then told, that my couch and table wouldn’t even be in stock until at LEAST July 21st... 😭 I have no furniture. I’m so sad... and I don’t want a refund, since I got such a deal... but how disappointing. I would also think they would send an update. Bummer! I did think about going and enjoying my morning coffee daily at the store since they have the couch I want on display 🤔 since I have until at least the end of July to wait.
Updated review, July 2021 TLDR: Don't order if you want your furniture delivered successfully and on time. Shady sales tactics, many instances of over-promise and under-deliver. At least the cancellation and refund process is streamlined. Everyone I know has had a similar experience. After such a great experience in store (see below) my hopes were very high. Background: I ordered a mattress, bedroom set, and couch. The mattress was in stock so could be delivered within a few days. The other furniture was behind, so they gave me a timeframe of 6-8 weeks, which was expected and acceptable for me. First to be delivered was the bed. There was a slight problem with the availability of the box spring I selected, and I got a message saying they could substitute it for a slightly different one at no extra charge. I called back to confirm, they said "actually, the original order should be there on time, we're good to go." Three days later, got all the confirmation texts and confirmed a timeframe for the next day when the bed would be delivered. The next day, a call comes from their delivery department saying that they didn't have all the pieces and that they would not be delivering my mattress that day. After getting the run around with the delivery and story customer service, they agreed to give me a $100 gift card and the mattress would be delivered 3 days later in an afternoon timeframe. This fact is important as I had cleared my schedule for the original delivery, and had an appointment that could not be missed for the new delivery day. The gift card never came through and was complete bs. New delivery day: everything confirmed and set up. On the day of, about 2 hours before my appointment, a call comes in saying their ahead of schedule and will be at my apartment at the same time as my appointment, when I explicitly stated that I would not be home to receive the delivery. After repeating this on the phone, they said they would push my delivery back. During my appointment, another call comes in, this time from the people making the delivery. With some communication issues, they hang up. I then get a call from the delivery service department saying there is no one home as they are attempting delivery. After reiterating my appointment for the 4th time, I was luckily able to convince them to wait for 5 minutes to run home and accept the delivery. As for the rest of the pieces: 6-8 weeks pass, and a long run around between the store and the 800 number, they say the best estimate they can give me is now sometime after October because of backups and covid. I decided to cancel my order. When going in the store, they didn't try to keep my business, offer alternatives, or compensate me in anyway for the trouble. One good thing was an easy cancellation/refund process. I would not have bought the mattress without getting the furniture. They sold me on a more expensive mattress, discounting the furniture, because they knew they wouldn't get the furniture out any time soon, and they would get to keep the mattress money. Sleazy, underhanded, not illegal, but will NEVER come here again. Original review, March 2021 TLDR: Great experience, fantastic service. When we walked in, we were greeted by a wonderful salesperson, Madison, who asked what we were looking for and took us straight to what we needed. She told us about the products, a couple of options, answered our questions, then left us to look around. She checked back with us a couple more times to see if we had more questions. She helped us with furniture, then with finding a good fit for a mattress. When time came to check out, the process was quick and once again Madison was extremely helpful and patient with our questions. She and Ronny were able to get us a great deal on the furniture so we could get the specific matress we wanted and we came in under budget. We were able to do the matress and furniture on 2 separate orders since the matress was in stock so I'll get the matress this week and the furniture will be delivered all at once.
This was my second time visiting this store The first time was several years back and I purchased a living room set. The experience was great. This time It was a very uncomfortable experience. The sales associate followed me around the store the entire time I was in there even after I asked her not to. I understand trying to be helpful but this was a bit much till I had to leave. I will not purchase anything from this store again.

DO NOT BUY A TEMPUR PEDIC FROM THEM!!!! We purchased a tempur pedic, almost 10 thousand dollars and there was a part missing from our box. The customer service rep said that once it came in, they would come out and fix it. They left all the wires dangling. When I called, they acted like I'd committed a crime in asking them ro come and finish the job. The rep was so rude that I went to the store. The lights kinked girl behind the counter had a mild attitude with me for some reason, I guess because they had my money and how dare I ask them to actually put this expensive bed together. The manager claimed he'd help. I'm calling today for the 5th time. If he fixes my issue, I'll change my post.
Order now and never receive your order. Go look at their Twitter. This is a system wide issue with Ashley. Update: Now on our 10th set of dates and no furniture. Do not buy here!

My husband and I took our 4 year old furniture shopping last Sunday and were helped by Jennifer Pogue... she was absolutely AMAZING! I have never had such a positive experience buying furniture. We were only looking for an office set but she was so knowledgeable and friendly that we ended up purchasing all of our office stuff... plus a media center with a fireplace... and a whole living room set! She took the best care of us and really made us feel comfortable making such a big purchase. She was so kind to our little one and he absolutely adored her! Jennifer was extremely busy and yet managed to juggle it all and attend to all her clients. She was even helping her fellow employees with their clients! Over all a wonderful experience and we will DEFINITELY be going back to her specifically for our future furniture needs!!!! Thank you so much Jennifer
They have seriously adorable stuff. The gal helping us was awesome. We purchased a rustic kitchen table with 8 chairs. They set up delivery to Napavine on the date we requested due to us purchasing a new home. Was super easy and everything went smooth with the purchase. We are very pleased by the Olympia Ashley store.
Terrible management and customer service
I was on the hunt for the first NEW couch I was going to buy in over 15 years! I had gone to other furniture stores and felt quite overwhelmed and “sold to”. Walking into Ashley in Olympia was no different as there are SO MANY OPTIONS! However, I was promptly greeted by a young, sweet girl named Lacie. From the beginning to the end of my purchasing process a couple hours later, I felt like I was hanging out with a good friend who happened to know all about furniture! Both her and the manager (who was also amazing), treated me with so much respect and was never pushy or made me feel rushed even though they were busy. I am soooo excited for my new sectional and will be buying all my future furniture from Ashley Furniture in Olympia! :)
I had the absolute best experience at Ashley Home Store! Excellent customer service! A lot of different styles of recliners to choose from! I would recommend this store to anyone and hope to return for my next furniture need! Thank you Ronnie and Alex! You were both wonderful to work with!!
I wasn't excited about having to go in and buy furniture, but I at least needed to get a couch , coffee table and some end tables. Madison was so helpful and she took really good care of me. So, if you want you buying experience to be stress free and enjoyable. I highly recommend you ask for Madison.
When we entered the store, we were initially looking. We saw a picture on the wall we liked and were hoping to take it home from the store. Unfortunately we couldn't. The young lady that went around with us, even though only working there for a month, was extremely helpful. She retrieved the picture so we could get a closer look. She would answer our questions and if she didn't know the answer, she would get the information we requested. Just want to thank the young lady who helped us. She was very professional. Just received email saying our order delivery could be moved up, and we took it.
Buyers beware I would never recommend anyone to purchase from this company or this location in Olympia . I have received nothing but headaches and horrible customer service since I decided to purchase from this location. My order was wrote up wrong by the salesperson and I was almost overcharged for my items. I was told I would have my furniture over a month ago and found out that my delivery was getting pushed again. Today my furniture was finally delivered and only part of it arrived today I’m still miss my wall art. The gentleman that brought my furniture today was very nice and professional, however the dining room table chairs were different from what I originally purchased. I was told the store would call which they did this evening and proceeded to tell me the chairs I received were the ones that I ordered. They told me the only way they be able to help me is if I came back to their store to yet again rewrite a new order.

We went to Ashley HomeStore twice, and both times, nobody came up to us asking if we needed assistance. We were in the store for 30 minutes. All we saw were workers walking around with binders, but not actually assisting customers. Weird. We saw stuff we wanted to buy but since no one bothered to help, we left.

Rude staff & manipulative pricing. They said it was 40% off everything in the store but then when I Picked out furniture they said the price for all the furniture was not 40% off and that it was only if you bought the pieces individually.

Sales staff, fine. Furniture, good. Delivery and customer service horrid. Bought entertaiment center, delivery scheduled for end of November. Day of delivery, get a call saying it would be delayed until late December. Keep in mind, Ashley called 2 days before to confirm date, one day before to set time.we asked to get delivery rescheduled before Christmas. They could not because the 4th part of entertainment center was not available and they would not deliver if not complete. Week after Christmas and delivery scheduled. Only 3 of 4 pieces delivered. Many phone calls, many waiting on hold forever, no call backs. Finally, get store credit for all the screwups, which we thought was fair.. Mid January, 4th piece comes in. Son was home let them in. They left without assembling, notputting shelves in. No biggie, but no shelf holders. Back to the store. I asked Tattiana, the manager, if I can just take the holders from disply. No, have to submit a picture to another department. I show her the picture and she still says I have to send it. I finally ask her to take a picture of my phone to submit. 30 minutes later shelf holders are found from some where. But during all of this Tattiana was rude and acted like she didnt care at all about our problem. She is the worst.

The sales reps are nice but the finance counter folks are garbage. This is a rip off. The furniture is well made but EXTREMELY overpriced. I had two bad experiences at this location and won't have a third. I've also bought 3 rooms worth of furniture. I will NEVER go to this location again. If ZERO stars was an option, that's what they'd get.
We picked out a bedroom set in 40 minutes. Waited 3 hours for her to do the paperwork, then she had to start over. We went to dinner, came back and it still wasn’t done. Another hour of waiting even though we already had an account from a previous order. They also told us we would receive a Visa card as part of some promotion. Never got it. Order has been delayed 4 times over the past few months. We finally got confirmation that it will be delivered, only to find out there will be pieces missing, so the bed will most likely be unusable. I have nowhere to put a bed that I can’t sleep on. I wish I would have gotten a refund months ago, and I will let everyone I ever meet not to go here. They deserve less than one star.
Very poor customer service. Seems since they assumed we were not looking for expensive furniture they were less attentive and even less helpful. Asked some questions at the front of the store and didn't bother to assist us after that.
We made a purchase back in August and here we are in December and still no furniture. The lack of communication is very disappointing. When you call they get an attitude because you are questioning them. I have had my date pushed back five times already. I went in and picked different furniture and they gave me a date that it would be delivered and once again it’s been pushed back. They are really great at taking your money and making that sell, but as soon as you question them, they get really angry. This store is beyond unprofessional and I will not ever shop here again. This is the second time I have had a horrible experience with this store. I have canceled my order.
While this review isnt of the actual store as they were kind, their company is the absolute worst. Delays galore and it was different reason everytime. The phone numbers they gave me for the Tacoma Warehouse are either disconnected or Voicemail thats just some lady who never answers and doesnt acknowledge she even works for Ashley. And their Customer Care line is always busy, never gotten a phone call back after having to leave a message multiple times. Supposedly my couch is ready for pick up at their Warehouse but I haven't been able to get a hold of anything to schedule a pick up........ Update. They called me back and didnt even give me a chance to answer before they hung up..
I shopped in the store after browsing online the previous and was instantly greeted by a wonderful lady named Syrena, I told her I was looking for a mattress and showed her some of the ones I had found online the day previous and did not have a large budget to spend that day she instantly told me about their financing options and helped me pick the one that worked best for me, I was approved in minutes and within a hour had a mattress and found some great pieces to add to my home later 10/10 would recommend going to see Syrena she was honest and informative! She knows her stuff! The best part? I got to pick up my mattress within a week and that process was very quick and easy
Our sales person was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The delivery guys were very nice but did not test the recliner buttons. We had to call the store and make an appt. to get one side of the controls fixed. Thankfully it was not a big deal and the repair person was very pleasant. The recliner loveseat we purchased is horrible. The one in the store was nicer than the one we received. Our loveseat is as hard as a rock. Makes your head ache with How hard the head rest fills up not to forget how hard the seat gets after being stretched out. Don’t waste your money on this furniture because unfortunately we are stuck with ours due to the no return policy at Ashley. We purchased the Welsford.
Outstanding service from the staff here. Our family needed help with complications with a previous couch we had purchased. Within a few minutes of arriving at the store our problem was addressed. Happy customers!
Never doing business with them again. Ordered and paid for the dresser on August 16th. Delivery scheduled for September. Got a call that delivery is moved to October 21st. Called today only to be informed via automated system that delivery is now scheduled for November 10th. They didn't even bother to notify me. I'm out of money I paid, and no dresser after 90 days. If they are hurting for money this bad where they are taking money for goods they know they cannot deliver, i don't even know what to say. This is not a time to charge someone and then fail to deliver for this long. If you call them, automated system will disconnect you after 15 minutes, and I haven't been able to talk to anyone in hours. It's shameful to act like a total scammer and with complete disregard for customer. Even if I got refund, I'd have to expose myself to shopping in person AGAIN. This is really a zero star review. This isn't how a reputable business should conduct themselves. Im not prone to angry reviews, but I'll repeat this one wherever possible, and I'll convey my experience to everyone I know, especially to those who are planning purchases.
The in-store associate was awesome, the customer service we had spoke to was rude and unwillingness to answer our questions has altered our commitment of our purchase to a more professional and understanding establishment. In these current times that our world is experiencing, not having customers feel appreciated is what drives brick and motar stores down.
When they say 7-10 weeks for delivery, expect 13. Then, do not expect them to call ahead of time for delivery- expect an automated call saying your delivery will be there in 20 minutes. Then, expect only the loveseat be delivered, not the couch. Maybe another 13 weeks with a 20 minute heads up? Better be at home! Oh, and do expect a long enough wait on hold while trying to contact customer service to complain/maybe get a heads up on the next delivery? A long enough wait to relax, do some work, and even type this review! Ps: the sales “professional” promised to call/text me personally when she saw my name on the delivery list. Ohhhhkayyy.

Ordered furniture back on July 8th. Still waiting for it to be delivered. They have messed up the order and name on the order several times. There seems to be zero empathy from the store staff. Next stop is the BBB.
So frustrated with this company and store. We made a large purchase for a dining set and additional bar stools. I still don't have it. We were told when we purchased, the latest our items should be delivered was sept 27 (4 weeks). We had to sit on the phone for hours earlier this week just to find if a delivery was scheduled because no one had called us after 3 weeks. We finally get someone on the phone (because contradictory to their automated system, the obline chat options do not provide the info and they tell you to call) and we were told the 23rd, and someone would call with a delivery time the morning of. Great! So we are believing it is the 23rd of this month. Call again today after waiting, nope, 23rd of NEXT month. No thanks ashley, you should disclose unreasonably long delivery times so we can opt to not purchase IN STORE. No attempt to reduce delivery fee, offer an earlier delivery of at least bar stools we can sit on, nothing. I will be working for a refund now due to non-disclosure of pertinent information that should be provided prior to purchase. Never purchasing from you again.

I don't like giving poor reviews to companies if I can help it. However, my wife a purchased livingroom furniture in June 2020 with the understanding that it would take a month to receive the order. Two days before we were set for delivery in July, we received a call from Ashley stating that the order was partial and wouldn't be complete until August. In September, we received multiple calls from Ashley stating that the order wasn't complete and wouldn't be fulfilled until September. The same story occurred today. Each time I've spoken with multiple representatives but each one has given me different information regarding what is missing and what is in stock for delivery. As of today, they're telling me that the order will not be complete until October 24th, three months after we initially purchased the furniture. I highly recommend avoiding any Ashley Furniture purchases for anyone who wants to actually receive the product they in which they invested.
My name is Krystie and I have purchased my living room set, my bedroom set and my daughters bedroom set. I have no problem with waiting for furniture to arrive if they give me a set date. Getting my living room and bedroom set was pretty easy and I did enjoy that experience. Purchasing furniture can be stressful and I appreciate the relationships I have built with the staff because they do make it a nice environment. I am in sales myself and it is nice to have a staff that works with you and not forces you into anything. The one problem I have had was my daughters bedroom set and the lack of communication and the 4 different deliveries it has taken to get everything I ordered. Not to mention they didn't deliver a foot board so I could get everything put together and one of the customer service reps was trying to argue with me saying it was. Let me remind you, a customer is almost always right and blaming the person who spent a lot of money on furniture to be wrong is not okay. It is very frustrating. I would not call and make a big ordeal over a foot board if I got one. The communication, the multiple deliveries, the waiting on the phone for a long period of time is not cool. They make it look like they are efficient and easy to work with but when it comes to delivery it is just a little ridiculous. They need to change things to be able to run a more efficient business. What you are doing is turning people off. I would like to be able to write a great review for everyone but I don't even know if I would go back. This was my third purchase and I am not impressed.
Showroom was large. Staff was fine I guess. Found a couch I liked and while searching it out came up with a link to Olympia Furniture Company who sold me the same couch for a couple hundred less.
I purchased a power reclining loveseat from Ashley about two years ago, as well as insurance. The electronic panels have malfunctioned, and I have been trying since February to get this fixed, via an insurance claim. It took a letter from an attorney as well as threats by the state insurance commissioner to get the insurance company to make good on the claim, which involved replacing the sofa as the model is no longer made (or parts). Then it's taken another 6 weeks to get the store to correspond about this issue. The entire process has been a long, drawn out pain. I will never do business with Ashely again. The only reason they get two stars vs one is that they eventually made good on their replacement - or I hope they will. I am still waiting for the sofa, which is out of stock for 10 weeks. February to October - EIGHT months to repair/replace a sofa is unacceptable, and their customer service and communications have been overall deplorable.

My partner & I just purchased a house and we decided to furnish our new place with updated furniture for our family. What a disaster this has turned out to be. First, we started with the Ashley in conjunction with the post exchange since my partner is a veteran. We went round and round trying to order things while continually getting our orders cancelled, calling, having them tell us to try again and then finally finding out after our order got cancelled a third time that we needed to be put on some list to spend more than $3000 online. Alright, cool, please put us on this list. Got on the list, then we were finally able to place our order...until a month down the road when our sectional was cancelled for being "out of stock". *sigh* so now we're back to square one with our couch...the rest of our order is supposedly in stock but we haven't seen the items yet, so who knows...I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we're back out picking a new bedroom set and dining room table soon. Then, in an effort to replace our sectional, we went to the physical store in Olympia where we found a couch we loved and were ready to drop considerably more money than we had previously with the online order. Apparently they needed that for display purposes, but didn't have the sectional in stock and the manager refused to sell the display saying they needed it. Idk what they need it for when they can't keep their products on stock. Regardless, there has been nothing but issues from this company and we will be taking our business elsewhere for our sectional. We also will be telling our friends & family that the should shop somewhere else for their furniture, even if it means travelling. We understand that the world is crazy right now and sometimes resources are stretched thin, but I cannot imagine why this company can't either say that, or take their products down until there is more than a couple for sale. Supremely disappointed in Ashley.
BEWARE! The absolute worst follow through I've ever experienced from any company. I ordered my furniture during their "4th Of July Sale" ... shortly after spending 15k cash in a single day ... Im advised that virtually ALL of the order will be delayed an additional month beyond their original estimated delay (of a month). As of today, two dressers have arrived completely destroyed, and were refused (I have no idea why they'd even attempt to deliver them). Still waiting on a ton of stuff, which supposedly, will arrive on 9/23. I was told that I'd get a call for redelivery on the broken dressers within 48 hours ... its been over a week now. Again, horrible follow through. I've spent more time on hold than I care to admit. Listening to them rave about how awesome their service is ... and how they're the best, while on hold, is just obnoxious too. Real customer. Purchased a whole bedroom set from them and was told everything I bought was in stock at the warehouse and would be delivered and installed in three days. Two days later they tell me half my purchase won’t be delivered for another two weeks because it really wasn’t in stock.The first part of the order that was delivered, there was sticky residue from package tape left on my night stand. It was impossible to get off with house hold cleaning supplies. Because Only half my order came, they stacked the drawers to my bed frame together to save space but one of the smaller drawers punctured the bottom of the big drawer because they were put together. The same size drawer that goes on the opposite side had stain rubbed off the wood. When I called to report the problem two separate people told me I would have to wait even longer for the rest of my order because they were wrong again about their own inventory. The first technician to come to my house was a really nice guy and took care of the sticky residue on the night stand and ordered me two new drawers. I spoke to the manager about the inconsistency and unprofessionalism of being told by four separate employees of when everything I purchased would arrive. All the manager said was that “unexpected delays may occur”. “Unexpected delays may occur” would be a valid defense however I originally bought the set expecting it in three days and was told everything was in stock. The only compensation I was offered was half my delivery fee refunded was would’ve be $140 and she transferred me to customer service. The 50% delivery fee was never refunded into my account. When I spoke to customer service that first time when she transferred me, all they said was it was a store issue and never understood my problem with the 4 separate times of being told different delivery days. Eventually the second part of my order came two weeks later. The second part of my order was my bed frame and dresser. My pregnant girlfriend was home at the time of delivery so she couldn’t inspect it as well as I did when I got home. When I inspected it and took all the drawers out and removed the mattress and everything there was damage in lots of places. The damages were to crazy or mind blowing but the amount of damages there was, was mind blowing. The was a corner piece of the bed frame falling off and so chips along the side. More than half the damage was underneath were the mattress would hide it, but it was supposed to be a brand new bed frame and the marks on it makes me think it was used or something. There was also a couple nicks on the dresser and a big scratch in the back. I called customer service the next day and sent them the 30 pictures I took of the damage. The customer service had scheduled another tech to come out again and inspect the damage. He did repair the damage on the bed frame, but it looked like an amateur did it. I pointed out all the damaged spots on the bed frame and for some reason he didn’t look at the pictures I sent to customer service. The main thing that stood out for the tech was when I complained about one of the footboard drawers doesn’t close all the way. He told me it was because of the front piece is angled weird and he’d order me a new one. I didn’t know what he meant because he didn’t make himself clear even though I asked if he was saying the front of the drawer or the front of the bed frame. He touched up one of the nicks on the front of the bed frame. When I showed him the corner piece that was falling off and the damaged wood by the front drawer slide he told me not to worry about it that he was ordering that front piece for me. I tried to show him the damage were it would technically be hidden from the bed frame. He didn’t even seem interested to take a look at what I was trying to show him and insisted that since it was covered by the mattress I don’t have to worry about. I got annoyed and told him it shouldn’t matter if it’s covered or not, I bought this as a brand new bed frame and there should be no nicks or big scratches on it at all.But was ignored.
Came in with an idea in mind of what we wanted and Ray helped us find everything on our list! He was very helpful, efficient, and personable! Definitely made our shopping experience easy and fun.

I just had the best experience at Ashley HomeStore. I went in knowing what I wanted and was hoping I'd find something close to it. After looking at prices on a couple sofas and chairs I didn't think I would be able to purchase anything. Sandra Fuentes came over to me and said "let me help you." This woman not only helped me buy my first ever couch but at an insane discount. I feel so blessed I want to cry. She is kind, funny, thoughtful, and was incredibly helpful. If you're looking to purchase furniture and feel discouraged, go to Ashley Homestore in Olympia and talk to Sandra Fuentes. I just bought my first ever sofa and could not happier :)

Purchased a livingroom furniture set from here earlier this week. That process went quite well. However, the delivery date - not going well. No communication from the drivers today. We've contacted CS for Ashley and the first person couldn't give me an ETA for our furniture, just that it was out for delivery (Well, duh!) 2nd person told us we were delivery #2, also next, and this was 4.5 hrs after the start of our initial delivery window. 3 hrs past our delivery window...nothing. Any communication was sought out by us. No one could initiate a call to us and tell us an update. When you give someone a stretch of time, try to arrive around then OR CALL and update the customer! So tired of waiting around for information AS THE CUSTOME. You get our money but don't seem to care about the experience overall for your customers.

We recently bought nearly $10,000 worth of furniture from Ashley in Olympia. When we purchased the bedroom set the salesman said the headboard was back ordered. We said ok, but is the rest of the order in stock? Absolutely he said. Delivery was supposed to happen last Wednesday, on Tuesday I was called and told the bed frame wouldn’t be here until Friday. We have already sold our old bed so I’m not happy but agree to get the entire order on Friday. Friday comes and only half the bed shows up. We call and are told we were aware the order wasn’t complete. Total lie. Now they say our bed frame won’t be here for another month. Where are we supposed to sleep for a month? We asked the store to supply us with a frame and box spring to get us by. We were told “we don’t do loaner furniture “. It’s not loaner, it’s fulfilling your obligation. Terrible customer service , I’m about to return every stick of furniture and buy somewhere else. Don’t trust the sales team at Ashley! They will lie to make the sale.
If I could give no stars I would! I received a damage table over a month ago and they still have not returned a call , email or responded to fix the issue! Worst customer service I have ever dealt with! I will never ever buy from them again and I recommend you don't either!
We went there today for their sales. It was nice seeing how big the tables were in person. However, their company sells it on Amazon for half the price. So finding that out I was pretty appalled by it.
Syrena at the Olympia store was a great assistance in helping us find exactly what we were looking for. Very knowledgeable of everything the store had to offer that may fit in what we had in mind. We will definitely be going back to her for more furniture!

I am extensively disappointed with this store. I made a purchase in store, out of curiosity I went online to see the couches because wanted to show a friend what they looked like. The price was drastically different reflecting to be about $700 dollars cheaper online. That's a huge price difference. Feel like I got robbed because they even had an additional discount online. Went into the store to see if they would honor the price and they said that if I could prove it would be cheaper that they would reduce the price but now the item is temporarily out of stock so I cant even add it to the cart. I would recommend going in the store to visually see the products then have them honor or place the order online. Also they are not the greatest people with math, if I weren't making sure the numbers added up they would have charged me more. First and last time I ever purchase anything at Ashley's furniture store.
Syrena is a wonderful host and knowledgeable guide through the various decisions and processes surrounding the purchasing of furniture. She listens to your need and finds the best options (and often extra perks you didn't know you needed until you do). Make sure to ask her for an adjustable base demo! I wasn't sleeping well and she fitted me with an amazing mattress and showed me how to effectively use my adjustable base to alleviate my pain. Now I get to snuggle up in my new furniture without having to shuffle and readjust constantly from back pain. She's a lifesaver!
I loved that when I walked into Ashley I wasn't bombarded by sales people. I was approached a few minutes later by Syrena. She was polite and asked if she could help me find anything. I told her I was looking for a new bed. She asked a few questions and then we were off! I fell in love with the beauty rest mattress and found an amazing headboard! Syrena let me lead for the most part with some great suggestions! Financing was so easy. I was given a few options and she explained them all! Syrena at Ashley's in Olympia gets 5 stars!
Although we enjoyed our shopping at your store we don’t understand why it is gonna take a month and a half to get our furniture. This could be something that will not sit well with us or our friends shopping at Ashley furniture will be up in the air from here on out.
Ordered a dresser and two side tables online. After weeks of waiting with no updates we decided to order through another company, when I went online to cancel my order it said “order does not exist”, I tried calling and emailing and could not get through to anyone. When I checked my bank statement I had been charge twice for the order. After a month, I received a phone call confirming delivery and I explained that I had been trying to cancel my order for a few weeks but was unable to get through to anyone, the person on the phone said she would cancel my order but that she could not help me with a refund because it was a different department. The next day I received another phone call confirming a delivery date, I explained the same situation and they said they canceled the delivery of the dresser and issued a refund but stated the side tables had been delivered and I could not get a refund. I never received the side tables. I was also charged for a protection package that I did not want or order. So, in the end I have no furniture and I’m out money. I have been trying to call to follow up consistently, but Ashley’s online phone service says longer wait times and once you’re on the phone for 15 minutes they forward you to leave a voicemail but you won’t hear back. Would not recommend ordering online.
Ashley Furniture in Olympia, Washington is a very entertaining store because it is so well done. The merchandising is exciting, the staff greets you immediately and makes it clear that they will be happy to help you but they also let you shop without standing over your shoulder. I always have a great experience when I go into Ashley in Olympia. Great prices, professional customer service, and helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's my go-to furniture store, because they always go out of their way to make the entire process of furniture buying as pleasant as it can be. Highly recommend.
Very bad communication I've been trying everything to talk with someone, they say they have appointments but I'd like to know how to make one. With no one answers the phone. Say we are experiencing high volume of calls, and we will answer when you are next, bull....no one answers there texts either.
Worst experience ever. I ordered a table and simply needed to cancel the order. For one, the posting was not clear that chairs were not a part of the price. But mainly, I have now been on hold just to cancel my order for a total of over two hours and been disconnected twice. Absolutely ridiculous. UPDATE: Three hours later, somebody finally picks up only to be told they will have a representative call me back within 24 hours. Horrible service.
bought a coffee table a set of 3 two are side tables with a big table. I picked it up from the warehouse. By the time I got home I found one of the glass for the table all Shader and broken pieces. Next day I went to the store and told them about the issue. They said they were going to replace it for me. They already made a claim and the claim department were going to call me within 24 hours. I waited nobody called me. I went back to the store and spoke with customer service. They told me they put an extent on my claim. I should receive a call within the next day or two. I waited for two weeks and nobody called me. I called back the customer service number they stated that nobody made any any claim for me yet. I told him that I already spoke with the customer service and they said they made a A claim for me. Play again stated that nobody make any claim for me so they just started a new one. They also informed me that the claim is going to take about five days for the process. After that I will receive the table within the next two days after the five days. I know it’s been about two weeks and I haven’t received anything from them. So I don’t recommends it to anybody. I’m still waiting for them to fix that issue for me....
We came in to look for furniture for our new house, and got Alex to help us. He was awesome, and helped us put together a living room set and find the perfect dining table, all for exactly what we were looking to spend. Would highly recommend him and the store!
Ray was great... Except when we told him the phone number was wrong to schedule delivery, he said they would take care of it. Apparently they didn't because it's 2 weeks later and supposed to be delivery day and we haven't heard anything. My husband called them and did they ever correct the phone number? Nope. The delivery people said they came by but nobody was home... Which is BS because it's not even 11am, both of our vehicles are in our driveway, and clearly there was somebody home. I just think the delivery people are lazy and never even came by. After spending almost 6k for a mattress I expect A LOT better.
I bought my tempurpidic matters and base here. delivery was great the whole thing ran a bit high but tempurpidic is price locked, so what that means is any place you go to buy this bed is going to be the same price. How ever there are old mattress that I guess you can get from like cosco, but if you want a great mattress that's going to last you a very long time. I would recommend the new tempur they are great and my sleep is so much better now. I also purchase my dinning room set and bedroom set from here. The first delivery wasent the greatest. however deliver is not going to be perfect always, and that any place you buy from but ashleys did fix it make it right and now I have all my furniture and I love it great priced great sales good quality furniture. It's not a thrift store so obviously prices and going to run high. How ever there is some furniture that is also affordable and just as well great. I highly recommend Ashley home furniture store to anyone that wants some great beautiful furniture in there home. I worked with melisa and Susan they were very nice and really helpful.

Our sales lady was fantastic. We rearranged the store looking for the perfect fit. However, when it came to delivery and continued follow up by Ronnie the manager of Olympia store things went terribly wrong. 1st delivery 2 pieces were incorrect. 2nd we were given 4 count you 4 different delivery dates before they finally got it right. Each of those days someone in my house hold missed work which put us in a tight spot for December. I was promised by Ronnie there would be compensation and at 1 point was offered $500.00. I've never seen the $500.00and besides me stopping in a couple of weeks ago giving a reminder that we have not heard anything. I was given an excuse but am still waiting. Life goes on, we love the furniture but doubt we will return. Bummer cause I'd like a new dining room Teresa King
All in all, my experience was great. Had an idea in my head of what I wanted and they were able to help me find it. Buyer beware tho, make sure you check website pricing because the prices in store are much higher, even if advertised as a managers special or a percentage off the list price. Saved nearly $1,000 by price matching. Gotta remember that the floor people are sales people and are trying to make a buck. Even if that means you overpay on an item. They even say it’s hard to keep up with the ever changing prices online. It’s bs. It’s called lies and deceit.
The sales reps were great! My issue was with the delivery protocol and managers. 6 k for a tempurpedic and the manager couldn’t tell me if they’d be able to take my 3 year old mattress away. I asked a simple yes or no question. One manager told me to go home and see if there were stains on the mattress because that would make it a biohazard. They apparently believe that biohazards are visible? 🙄 Pretentious, offensive-inexcusable behavior. This is their corporate policy and they insisted that this is the way ALL Furniture stores operate. Not true. I went across the street to Mattress Firm -they can answer a simple yes or no question and have free delivery and set up. I saved myself a few hundred dollars and they support Foster Care. Win- Win! Thank you Mattress Firm!
We were having difficulty getting a sales rep (very busy). Once Ray Hansen helped us we were hooked. Ray's personable nature left us without questions and he really wanted us to test the mattresses we were interested. Once we found 'the one' we were sold. Ray was all answers up-front, it left us completely informed. I cant wait on the delivery. We'll finally be able to sleep again. ASK FOR RAY - you won't be disappointed!

We have bought quite alot of furniture from Ashley Furniture and Jen helped us each time. She was extremely helpful and friendly and most importantly not pushy. Her manager Ronnie was also very helpful and friendly. This is why we keep coming back for more furniture from Ashley exclusively!! We HIGHLY recommend your Olympia store and Jen and Ronnie. They went way out of their way to help us get the best deal possible! We are also happy with the quality of the furniture. We will continue to shop at Ashley Furniture.
The staff is beyond rude especially Tatiana. Eugene was very pushy. The wrong couch was delivered and now I have to be without a couch for another week. Their customer service is horrendous. I'm so upset I got the warranty because I'm sure they will not be pleasant to work with if I ever need it. Will never purchase from Ashley's ever again.
The staff is extremely pushy. We liked a couch in store, and it was advertised as half off for MLK weekend. Only to find out online it was already half off..they just doubled their price in store to make it appear as if we are getting a good deal... save your hard earned money from these con artists. EDITED TO ADD they just delivered the WRONG couch to my house.............. they offered to leave the couch and come back next week with the right one.. then they said nope we have to take the couch and it’s going to take 24-72 hours before you can call to resolve the issue. I'm so over Ashley's Furniture! Worst customer service EVER. Do not recommend at all!!!
Everything was a positive experience. We mentioned our needs and desires and what were looking for. Jennifer Pogue pointed us in the direction to achieve the goals we had in mind. She was very professional and knowledgeable of all the products that we were interested in. Her patience she showed was exceptional. Looking forward in doing more business with your company.
Our sales person was awesome! Listened to what we were looking for and showed us several items that met our requirements. We found the couch that best met our needs and was super comfortable. We added a matching chair. We already felt like we were getting a good deal, but then were offered an even better deal. We decided to add some additional items. Went back a couple days before the delivery of our order and added an additional item. It won't ship with the stuff we originally ordered, but we got the same deal and shipping was waved. We will definitely be going back when we are ready to update another room.
Melisa helped us find just the right chair. It was a "goldilocks" order: not too soft, not too firm, not too large, does not recline, swivel, or rock. And they had just the perfect chair for me.
I just want to call and ask them if they have a couch in stock before I drive over there - the number reroutes to some corporate number (Tacoma one does the same thing) and no one ever picks up. Guess I'll order my couch online from somewhere else.

Furniture was damaged and incorrectly assembled by delivery crew. Customer service is unreachable by phone. After 20 minutes on hold no one answered.
My mother and I went in to buy my first couch for my first apartment, and we had the pleasure of getting help from Ray Hansen. He knew the answer to any question we had, and offered additional info we didn’t even know we wanted to know. My mom actually walked out with a tempurpedic mattress that she greatly needed, because Ray gave her such a great deal. The most genuine salesperson we’ve worked with thus far, he is not one of those pushy/scripted sales people, he actually took the time to listen to our needs. Will definitely be back, and have already recommended Ray :-)

Associate Tuan Vo was fantastic. He helped get us a great deal on a sofa sectional and was very patient with us as we decided. The delivery process wasn’t great, though. The furniture arrived late and although the store offered us a $50 refund for the late delivery, they insisted we had to come back into the store to claim it. Being that the store is nearly an hour from our home, this was a bit frustrating. Hopefully your delivery experience will be smoother than ours was.
Absolutely horrible experience from beginning to end. No refunds = no recourse, they don't care because they don't have to, they've already been paid. If we could give zero stars we would. The bad reviews aren't going to stop here. We're putting the word out.
Melisa is the an extremely knowledgable, friendly and very helpful sales lady. She spent at least 3 hours helping us decide on what furniture we wanted & needed for out very large living room. Her patience was outstanding as we changed our minds several times on color, style & size. She is our go to person for furnishings for our others rooms as well. I highly recommend this young lady for your furniture and home accessories.
This has got to be the beat Ashley I've shopped at. Not only was the business staff and sales staff accommodating, but when we returned to make changes to our purchase they kept us at the same price on several different items.

I knew exactly what I wanted coming in and my sales person, Tuan, was very friendly and helpful. He made the process quick and easy. Only reason for 4 stars is because they want you to be home all day for delivery. Not even a 4 hour window, you or someone else needs to be home all day. This is difficult for me as I am currently alone and usually have to be out of the house at least a few hours every day for work.
Worse quality of service. This is the 3rd time my furniture has not been delivered when suppose to. The lady I spoke with was suppose to schedule it for Nov 22nd. Never did the paperwork correct. So I called rescheduled for Monday, then decided I would call and schedule to pick it up in Tacoma 1hr and 45mins away from me, come to find out the lady I spoke with never scheduled it anyways for monday. Ashley furniture thank you for disappointing my children and not having there furniture here on time. I would give yall a break but SERIOUSLY 3rd time. BS! Very incompetent people. Today Monday Nov 25th I still have not gotten my furniture that was scheduled for today. I have already paid in full and the delivery fee. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. If you are military personnel in this area do not shop here. We ordered a bed frame that was supposed to be delivered November 23rd. We had a 4 hour window for this to be delivered. Turns out the truck broke down and the store decided to call us 30 minutes after our 4 hours window ended. They told us that the furniture would be delivered the next day from the times of 3-7 pm. We waited and waited until we got a call saying that they couldn’t deliver our furniture because they couldn’t find our address. Every single delivery company can find our house besides Ashley Furniture. If you don’t want to waste time and your money please don’t go to this store. Worst customer service and worst furniture store.
Update: To this day, about 2 months after our quite expensive purchase, they have made 5 deliveries to us already, always with something damaged. There was a day we were expecting a delivery and kept waiting for 4 hours for them not to show up. They then decided to appear other day without notice. They also tried to force us to accept damaged furniture manipulating us with the time we will have to wait for the new delivery and used sharpie to paint some chips in the wood to hide damages without notifying us. We are still waiting on a technician that was supposed to call us to fix the drawers that don't fit and others that don't close (that was notified in the 2nd delivery), but we haven't received any call yet. In all I would recommend to stay away from Ashley Homestore in general, because when they want to sell you they will be awesome, and what they are selling is supposed to be quality and that is what they charge you for, but their quality control is just terrible and totally not worth the huge amount of money they charge. It definitely does not compensate the cost. Previous review: Excellent service with professionality. Jen Pogue was our sales rep. and was very helpful and friendly with us. The manager and his team all treated us very kindly. Great variety and showed us every option to choose from our preferences.

My Husband and I recently purchased our gorgeous king bedroom set at the Ashley Homestore in Olympia. Our person was Jennifer P. Jennifer was very kind, knowledgeable and professional. We shopped other stores for miles but decided to go back and ask for Jennifer. We are pleased with our furniture, the customer service of our sales gal and delivery.
My family would love to give a shout out to Jennifer P. She made our recent relocation to the PNW and our home feel extra special by her expertise in furniture and design. We were blown away to learn that she has only been with Ashley for a few months. She worked professionally, side-by-side, with the store manager Ronnie to make sure our family request were satisfied. We love each room and can't wait to add extra touches with accent pieces from Ashley Homestore over the next few weeks with Jennifer's help.
Buyer beware! Sales people were friendly and what you'd expect from sales people. But... your delivery and everything after you pay them will be a nightmare. Not only did they cancel our original delivery date without telling us they delivered damaged product along with missing items. I rejected some of the stuff because it was HEAVILY damaged to only be talked down to by the delivery people and be told that it's not their problem and to contact support. Support gave me the run around several times after being on hold for over an hour. I would stay FAR away from this place. If you have any other options please shop somewhere else as once you've gave them money... they stop caring. The manager even vented how his delivery was screwed up 3 times before he finally got his stuff. We didn't head the other warnings on here.... and well... I wish we did. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Update 2: they brought one of the many missing pieces a week after they screwed up the first one and guess what? It is missing it's own individual support beams so now we get to call and be on hold for another hour before someone helps us and tells us it will be another 1 to 3 weeks before they can send us the new piece. We are also still waiting for the dressing they delivered last week damaged.

They have wonderful furniture. But the salespeople are sharks and very proud of thier furniture. Best advice is to go to the store, play hide and seek with the sales staff while finding what you like, and then Google it. I bought a sectional online for $1250 through Coleman furniture that this store wanted $2300 for... Same exact couch.
NO STARS Only lets me post if I give one star, I paid full price for full set recliner couch and twice already they sent me either the wrong piece or the furniture was already damaged soon as u open it customer service constantly switch me over without warning and hanging up your own delivery service said that your unreliable and they don’t like working with you even your call center keep changing my address telling me your systems are old. Jessica from customer service from the store is the only one that actually help.
I buy all my furniture from Ashley Homestore. Many beautiful styles to choose from that are higher in quality. Ashley, the representative who helped us was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. She was great in explaining everything including ensuring we received the best bedroom option that worked for my daughter as well as the prices. The only thing that bothered me- and this is in no way the representatives or to stores fault- but my Ashley furniture card is no longer valid at stores in Washington State due to the stores conversion to corporate. The corporate offices failed to consider that detail or inform customers. Besides the card issue I'm happy I buy my furniture from Ashley Homestore.
All I can say is LMAO! I went in to look at a sofa I found on line. It was $299 on line. The store wanted $799 for it! The saleswoman and I got to talking and before I knew it she had talked me into trying out a bed. I won't lie. I liked the zero gravity thing. But then I find out they want over $4,000 for the bed! As I was getting ready to leave, the manager pops up and tells me he would GIVE me the couch if I buy the bed! LOLOL That alone tells you what kind of business they are.
I was very impressed with Jaya! She took so much time patiently answering our dozens of questions. She helped us decide on our furniture and in the end even helped us cut a special deal to save us a little money. I really felt that she was a genuine person who had our best interests at heart, not just trying to sell us the most expensive furniture so she could meet her sales quota. She was super kind and ubserstanding and helped us make an informed decision. And I’m pretty sure she was helping two other customers too. Not once did she seem or act overwhelmed, even though it was clear she was very busy at that time. She was amazing and we were super impressed with the level of customer service she delivered. We are moving from the area, but we have LOTS of friends and family here and we will be highly recommending them to Ashley Homestore all because of Jaya!

Was told I'd have next day delivery, that was a month ago, still waiting.....
On June 24th, the sales person was awesome, super friendly and helpful. Once we decided on the items we were wanting to purchase (3 entire bedroom sets including mattresses) we tallied up the costs. I let her and her manager know I wanted a delivery ASAP and they promised a July 6th delivery so I went ahead and paid in full. On July 6th I had to call the store and they had no record of my order and said it will not be delivered till July 23rd. I took that and moved forward. On July 23rd, the delivery people showed up and after 3 hours on site let me know on their way out that one night stand was damaged and they brought the wrong size foundation for my bed and "someone will be calling you in 15 to 30 minutes" I waited, and waited. The next morning I called and nobody knew that I was even missing anything and after 2 days I have now been told I have to "wait another week or so". The service here is absolute trash and the follow through is even worse. I did my part as a consumer and they dropped the ball repeatedly as a business and I STILL have not had a manager call me back to discuss this issue. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE! The trouble they will put you through is just not worth it. I will never shop here again. I have receipts, call logs and text logs all unanswered.
My fiancee and I have unusual needs because of sensory processing issues, so different textures and fabrics can be weirdly unpleasant. Sometimes it's hard to communicate our needs, but Ashley was very attentive and soon was able offer really helpful recommendations. She helped us narrow our search and find a sofa we fell in love with, and made the entire shopping experience easy and enjoyable.
We had the best experience looking, deciding, and buying our furniture. The sales representative talked a long while with us to understand what we were looking for even though we weren’t sure what that was! Once she walked us around the store it became apparent what our style is. We found great pieces for our new home and are so pleased we stopped in for a look!

I've never reviewed anything in my life, but I will make an exception for these folks. I ordered a couch in mid-may (a process that was in itself a long and incompetent process). The couch was supposed to be delivered on May 21, then delayed to the 28th, then again to the 6th of June, and today to the 18th of June. So I decided to cancel my order. I have probably spent 4 hours on hold today, sent numerous emails, texts to try and reach this store. Even their main customer service seems baffled that they can't reach anyone at the actual store. At this point I think I am just going to tell my bank that the charge is not approved by me and see if that gets them to do something. Save yourself time, money, and sanity by not buying ANYTHING from these people.

The worst experience in customer service we have ever encountered in any business we’ve ever been to. Chuck was helpful in selling us our new bed, sectional and sofa bed. Unfortunately after the sale leaves the store, everything falls apart. We were told the sectional we initially chose was discontinued after hearing it was a signature piece and been around forever and no way it would go anywhere, pieces came broken, employees couldn’t locate our items, delivery dates changed constantly, we had a delivery man disrespect me and leave a mess in my yard, deliveries would be cancelled at the time they were supposed to arrive (over 5 different times) due to “trucks breaking down” or “truck issues”, delivery times being pushed, we were promised a Sunday delivery by a driver personally even though those aren’t possible and it never happened, and surprisingly the list goes on and on. It seems like when your company was bought out, more and more fell to the side and customers began to suffer big time. Your employees even struggled with how to ring anyone up and it took hours to just pay for something. I came in your store for a final time after no one answering the phone in the store to try and find answers for our missing furniture. Your store manager Jenny was so rude and showed zero concern or skill in customer service. Her tone and body language was unsympathetic, she wasn’t willing to help in any way and ended up brushing me off saying she couldn’t help me. The store was in such disarray during business hours with furniture disassembled and turned on their sides/upside down all over the sales floor, workers yelling across the store at each other making jokes.. I felt like it was so inappropriate for you to be open for business. After dealing with these issues for over 3 months, I was finally put in touch with Gino at the Olympia store and he was a breath of fresh air. Even if there were things he was just not capable of controlling, he never made me feel unheard and he empathized with me during the entire process which is so much more than I can say for who you have actually as your store manager/“leader” of your store. He made promises in which he kept, stepped up anywhere he could, apologized and did all he could to rectify what had been done. Unfortunately that was after we had already been through hell. But regardless, hope he sticks around so customers might actually continue to shop there.
People are great that work there but the delivery suck so bad that we got half our stuff 2 weeks late and wated another 2 for the rest of our sectional to get delivered but in mean time we were on the floor for a month cause they reschedule and then only had half a couch to sit on
It took 3 people over an hour and a half to figure out how to ring up my transaction. I was forced to have a piece delivered that I could have easily taken home myself, and had to pay $70 for delivery. Delivery service sucks also. One came two weeks late and the other never showed up. I called and they were supposedly supposed to call me because my stuff wasn’t on the truck and wasn’t able to be delivered and yet I never heard from them. Their furniture is decent but I’ll definitely take my business elsewhere from now on.
Prices are a little bit more than I thought it would be
New owners of Ashley's, Stoneledge Corp will not honor Beauty rest mattress guaranty of 120 days exchange if you don't like it for any reason. They just stole $1800 dollars I paid for a split king mattress. It is like sleeping on a rock. Do NOT do any business with a company that lies and cheats as bad as these suckers.
Don't go through delivery if you live on the military base!

Went in and looked around had a pushy sales guy following us around. We eventually found a livingroom set that we loved. We made a purchase and set up delivery date and thought everything was good. The day of delivery (Wednesday) came but and hour after the latest time they said they would show up we still had no furniture. We called every number available and they had us in the system for Friday and that pieces to our order were missing. Friday came no delivery still we call them back and they had no delivery scheduled for us at all. We had to go in and fight to get a refund so we could get furniture from another place as we had been a whole week almost without anything to sit on while we waited for the furniture from them. Not worth going through them if you can find something from somewhere else.
This place has a good amount of selection of all different styles of furniture from traditional to rustic and modern. The best part though was our sales lady Mariah. She was so friendly and funny too! What a great experience!
The sales staff were great but the delivery service has been an absolute nightmare. First, they sent us a notably damaged product. Then, they kept rescheduling the redelivery, waiting until the day of delivery to inform us that the delivery date had changed yet again. I’ve had to adjust my schedule to accommodate every delivery, and they charge $69 dollars for this service... if you buy from here, I recommend going to the warehouse yourself. At least then you will know when you will receive your furniture. I will say that Dylan at the store was great though.
I was happy with our salesman, Corey, at the Olympia store. However, when I filled out the paperwork, I said I did NOT want to get ads from Ashley via email. In the 9 days since I bought my table, I have received well over 50 SPAM emails. When I called the store, I was told by Courtney in their office that their marketing department could do whatever they wanted with my email address. I spoke to their call center in Texas and their Corporate offices in Wisconsin and was told I would NOT continue receiving email. Guess what? The email has NOT stopped. This is my business email address, and I do NOT appreciate being spammed with Ashley ads at work. They refuse to fix this saying "we've done everything we can do". Then WHY am I still getting SPAM from them???
I was very impressed with the sales staff, especially Dylan. He worked with us through all available options for the pieces we looked at without being pushy. The service you get here is a breath of fresh air
Bought a couch there today and Joscelyn helped us out. She was very helpful and didn't hover around us which was very much appreciated. She helped us find the perfect fit for what I was looking for and made the whole process very simple and fun. Great customer service!

Delivery service was horrible! We are still waiting for a piece to our bed frame. However, I appreciate Josh from the Olympia store for doing his best to make things right. I also appreciate the calls from customer care and headquarters to help fix this situation. **Update back to 0 STARS if available. I stayed home for the 3rd time today as I was promised the missing piece to my bed frame. My husband dismantled our old bed AGAIN. NO DELIVERY!!!! Received ANOTHER MID MORNING call from customer care, the day of delivery, telling me oops sorry don’t have it available to deliver today. This must be the 10th call I’ve received from customer care. UNBELIEVABLE PEOPLE!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Delivery scheduled another week and a half out. Now for the 9th. REALLY!! Will I even have a frame in 2019? I’ve walked into many furniture stores looking for the perfect sectional sofa and often come out empty and left feeling hopeless. Today I walked into the Olympia Ashley store and was greeted by a young gentleman named Luke, who took the time to walk around looking for the type of sofa I’ve been searching for over a year. Often I am told theres one or two options (which never even came close to what I wanted) however this experience was different. Luke was able to find me a multiple sectionals that would look great in my house. After about 20 minutes we found one we liked but it had many different conversions. So Luke took the time to explain all the differnt versions, pricing and explain how much everything costs. Overall it was a great experience, I got an awesome deal because of the sale that was going on and we finally are getting our sectional sofa!
Very wonderful customer service and sales team. I have always been greeted, and Mariah was such an awesome sales gal. We took a couple of weeks to make a decision and she was very patient and just as eager to help every time we came in. She also educated me on taking care of my furniture and had my best intentions in mind when she helped me find a discounted bed frame so that I could still afford the protection while getting everything I need in my budget. Ordered couch, they called previous day to confirm delivery, deliver day comes and goes without so much as a phone call to let us know they arent coming, so I go into the store and they inform me it will be another week. Got refund on couch and went to lazy boy. Custom ordered with exact fabric, style and functions we wanted.
Luke did a great job and was very patient as I roamed around the showroom and then sat in 3 different chairs/so far. Looking forward to getting the sofa in my new place.
Bought a bunch of furniture and had it delivered. While they were delivering it one of the guys says the bottom drawer on a filing cabinet wouldn't work so he was going to work on it to see if he could fix it. I was directing the others as to where to out the other pieces of furniture. He tells me he fixed it and showed me both drawers open and close. Well it turns out it will open once but the next time it doesnt. We haven't used the bottom file drawer since we got it a year and a half ago, but the delivery guy said he'd make a note of it in case. So I called there to see if he had done that and what we need to do to get it fixed. The guy was really rude on the phone and told me they would do anything to help. He gave me the wrong model number so I couldn't even find the part on my own. I called back and spoke to a manager and she directed me to their national call center. I called them and they were happy to order me the $18 part. I paid for it and it will arrive in 2-4 weeks. Dont buy anything from these guys.
No pressure at the door. You can browse at your leasure and no one follows you around. That part is great!

Staff is pushy
They have great deals on some very nice furniture. The people are very helpful and friendly but don't bug you to death about buying something. UPDATE: They are terrible at delivery! The driver could not find my house even using Google maps (twice). I know there is an issue with my address (mailing vs actual address) but no other delivery people have had a problem. I mentioned the possible issue when I bought the furniture and the salesperson said the driver would call me if they had a problem. He did but did not follow my instructions. I even texted him the address Google maps uses.
I decided to purchase a Tempurpedic bed. I chose Ashley Furniture because they had a great financing plan I could handle. My salesperson, Mariah, was wonderful and spent a great deal of time helping me find the right bed. The sales and purchase went well. And then!! The delivery happened. This was the single most frustrating and degrading experience I have ever had. The group showed up throwing a moving pad down keeping my door open. I have two indoor cats because I live on a very busy street. Before I had a chance to put my cats in another room they had gone upstairs and and decided to grab my old mattress, the cats where hiding under the bed, scaring them out of the room and down the stairs. I close the door before they could run out. The team did not ask what I wanted they just burst into my home telling me to take pictures off my walls and move them! They are large pictures and I told them I could not move them. They finally did! The lead delivery man turned to me and told me next time I needed to make sure my cats were in another room! I told him to be quiet and leave. They also could not attach the base to my headboard but offered to take my custom headboard to the garage. I declined and refused to sign and sent it back to the store. The other frustration is Ashley’s phone system. They have call center that sends the caller to the store where they answer. However, the call center never picks up nor does the store. I had to get in my car and drive to the store to talk to someone. They had a lot of phones but no one would answer. This happened when I was emailed my delivery date and told to call and confirm or lose my delivery time and day. I had two delivery’s as I needed to get a box spring because the movable base did not work. The second delivery was worse than the first. The delivery man told me I was supposed to move my mattress myself and then told me they would not move my old box spring to the garage. He told me he didn’t work for Ashley. However after a few choice words they ended up doing their job. Ashley offers to move or dispose of your old mattress. When I took my concerns to Ashley they gave me every excuse they could think of regarding the delivery and their phone system. In other words they lied. They contract out their deliveries and use a call center, which does not answer and is not open on Wednesday or Thursday. When a company uses outside agencies this says they are trying to save dollars and increase profits. However they lose more business because they won’t get repeat business! I am going back to be using only companies that offer white glove delivery and answer their phones!
Poor customer service. Non responsive to phone calls for assistance and lack of training for employees on the computer system slowed the process down considerably.
I came to this store with the intention of buying a full kitchen and living room furniture set, was never greeted. I walked around the whole store 4 times and was never offered any help by any of the employees. They clearly saw me but never acknowledged me . Come to this store if you want to be ignored for the entirety of your visit.

Worst customer service ever. Delivery dates constantly changing or order being re-backordered. Back orders are understandable but customer service never calls back or knows why the order has changed. Five times our delivery date changed. 2 months after we had ordered our table we finally had a delivery date that did not get pushed back for back order. The delivery date came...finally right, delivery was suppose to come between 2pm-630pm. Delivery never came. The lack of customer service on the phone had us go to the store after once again no call back. Talked to a manager who guaranteed she would have everything figured out about our order and would call us back before the end of the day. Of course no call once again. I tried to be patient but this store needs some better training in customer care or a better understanding on shipments. So frustrating.
Decent unless you need to call the actual you know brick and mortar store. Was supposed to get a phone call letting me know if my delivery was in or not, no call so I tried to call them and have been on hold for over 30 minutes now. It's a good enough place thought unless you need to speak to someone at the store.
Not much different than the other Ashley's. It's a furniture store with many sales people. The sales people where nice and attentive. His store is one of the smaller ones.
We had great service shopping for a sectional. We were assisted by Susan Bryant, who was interested in helping us find the sofa that checks all of our boxes. And we are confident that with her help, we did!
I came in on black Friday with my mom as she was looking to buy a bed. There were plenty of sales people present even when it was busy. I am in corporate finance and when it came to financing, the sales person tended to use words and phrasing that didnt make sense to myself and my mom who is also in finance. Once you ask more details and questions the sales person was thrown off a bit but I feel like it was them not being too informed compared to them trying to deceive but I would be cautious. Always best to take it slow when financing anything and go into it well informed. The sales people are educated and did provide good information on the furniture but the financing part was interesting.
Ordered 3 items in October for delivery on November 19. My window was between 2:30 and 4:30 but get called hours early that they are ready do deliver now. Ok fine, but they don’t have my couch and can deliver it tomorrow... no I have to be out of town for work. Then can we deliver on Saturday the 1st. Alright now it’s Saturday the first with no contact from them. Call them up... they don’t have my couch and could we schedule for the 11th. Just how many times did you reset my couch in almost 2 months I would like to know? This should be 0 stars!!!!

We had an overall good experience. The first sales person we were working with was fantastic but he had to finish helping another customer so another sales person helped us and he was more of the stereotypical, pushy sales person which was a bit off putting. However, the furniture itself was good quality at a great deal so we ended up purchasing it since they had the Veterans Day sale going on and they match their online prices as well.
My wife and I purchased a couch and love seat on July 21st. Furniture set to be delivered on August 2nd. DELIVERY #1 Upon inspection of items the couch was in perfect condition but the love seat had a rip and was returned. DELIVERY #2 August 14th new love seat arrives with missing velcro on back of love seat. I set an appointment for their repair person to come and repair it. The REPAIR DATE August 21st....they did not show and did not call. I then visited the store and shared my FRUSTRATIONS. They were not able to get any velcro and scheduled another day to deliver a new one. DELIVERY #3 September 1st the item was delivered, yet again, DAMAGED!!! I then had to schedule a new day to RETURN THE ITEMS....I'M DONE!!! I called and talked with one of the managers...he apologized and tried to talk me into one more try (he was going to call and assure things are looked at prior to delivery). I told him I have lost all confidence in this company but for kicks and giggles let's do this.... DELIVERY #4 the moment of truth.....love seat arrives DAMAGED!!!!!!! ASHLEY CAME AND TOOK BOTH ITEMS SEPTEMBER 29TH....WE WERE TOLD AT THAT POINT THAT IT WOULD BE 10 BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE MONEY IS REFUNDED....IT IS NOW NOVEMBER 13TH AND WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR REFUND....VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ALL ASPECTS IN THIS COMPANY.

Yesterday I received a partial delivery with no indication when the additional chair will be delivered. This is after having to change my selection of furniture because the delivery was set for three months after purchasing and five days before Christmas. This should be a one star, not five star. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

This is hands down the worst experience I've ever had with a business. I bought a couch and loveseat from this store. When I called to see when I was supposed to be notified of the time of delivery the person on the phone said the salesperson had cancelled the order the day after I was in the store. We had to wait an additional couple of weeks for our order to be processed and delivered. They offered to take some of the expense off our bill to make up for the inconvenience. I appreciated this gesture and was ready to move on. Yesterday my two items were supposed to be delivered and the delivery guy showed up with just the couch. He said that he arrived to pick up the loveseat and that it was stained and broken and refused to deliver it. According to him, the person at the warehouse tried to convince him to take it anyway. He said no, and was under the impression they'd be calling us to notify us of the partial delivery. We weren't called. I called the store to see how this could happen. They were not understanding and told me that I'd have to take it up with corporate if I wanted the full refund. So instead of just picking up the couch. And refunding me my money, I'd have to call their corporate office to see if they would "approve my return." Beware of this company and especially of Josh, Jenny, and their less than competent sales people.

Found the entire living room set that allows me to sit comfortably. Being short a lot of the current styles are really deeply seated. My feet often don't touch the floor... or... Our associate, Tammy or Patty (how horrible of me I can’t remember her name!) took her time to show us multiple options for sleeper sofas and even opened one up for us to try out. Extremely helpful and friendly. The store manager even took the time to stop and say hello. Our previous Ashley couch held up for 5 years before choosing to replace it so we can’t wait to get our new one! Did I mention how awesome our sales person was :)

Ashley has lots and lots of furniture, lamps, rugs, mattresses, etc., in their spacious showroom. Our salesperson Susan was wonderful, patient, had lots of suggestions. They do deliver, and the cost varies depending upon distance, amount of purchase. Their showroom is light filled, spacious. Ample parking.
First of all I would like to give a shout out to my wonderful sales agent Susan Bryant, she was 5 stars, extremely easy to talk to, listened to my wants and needs and never was pushy. She took the time to price out many table sets and sectionals out for us and because of her service alone I will always go back to her and Ashley's. As for the furniture I always find Ashley's has great quality stuff and they offer in home delivery for a small fee, even 5 year protection plans with a full refund if you don't have to use it within those 5 years. Also they offer many finance options at zero percent and always have takes so my question is why would you go anywhere else?!? If you find yourself convinced go see Susan today

My husband and I bought a table, ordered 2 extra stools and two end tables at the Olympia store. The store staff was wonderful and even worked their magic to sell us the floor model so we could have our table within a few days, since we just moved to WA state and don’t have a table to eat on. We paid over $1800 for this purchase (including $130 delivery fee) and were set for a delivery date on the table for August 14th, 2018. Yesterday I received an email (and a phone call) asking us to confirm a delivery for said date between 2-5pm- I confirmed yes. Waited at home all day with no sign of delivery or even a courtesy call. At 5:05pm, we called to make sure everything was okay, and were given a couple of different excuses on why they would not be delivering the table. Excuse #1 was that our table was on back order (we bought the floor model so that was not the case). Excuse #2 was that they don’t deliver out this far, which is fine hadthey madethos cleat at the time of purchase when they so badly wanted me to buy the table, and we live 10 miles away in Lacey according to Google maps. I guess if you live in Lacey you better have your own truck or find someone else to buy from because apparently they don’t deliver here. Seldon’s had no problems delivering my sofa last week. Then we were told they had no idea why they weren’t delivering our table. 🤷🏻♀️ Then there’s the whole lack of curtesy issue. How could you not at least call your customer and attempt to either break the bad news or work something else out. THAT’S what angers me most of all!!! I’m sorry, but it’s like they have their sales team together but the logistics and customer service once you leave is one hot mess. Don’t take my money and then turn your head- you lose business that way. Anyway, we asked for full refund, and I’m happy to report they did the right thing there without much fight. I think they could have handled this so much better- I just felt jerked around on the phone by excuses. Cute table, but I’m going to take a hard pass on doing business with in the future. -Tabless in Lacey

Delivery of chair experience. Two guys didn't use a lift to get the box out of the truck. They dropped the box off the back of the truck. I was told at the store that the guys would have clean shoe covers. This was not to be. They said that they would leave it in the doorway and I could move it, which is exactly what happened. Put down plastic from the chair and stood on it at the door. I immediately called the store. Bit manager Chris was not there. The person who answered the phone said that the assistant manager would call me back. It is now two days since the delivery and in have heard nothing from a manager. They stayed about five minutes and I paid $69 for said delivery. The chair was literally in two pieces, which I could have put together myself.

Sales agent said I would get delivery on 6/28, which was also date on sale invoice. I didn't receive a followup call and when I called was told couldnt deliver until 7/2. Some damage to leather that may have occurred during delivery. Left two messages with customer care to discuss damage, but have not received return call.

Moriah was very helpful and spent the time asking the right questions to make our shopping experience wonderful. Moriah went over and beyond by explaining each different type of furniture and the pros and cons of each one. It was very valuable information and my wife and I or very happy with the decision we made to come the Ashley HomeStore. The manager was very knowledgeable and explained how each piece of equipment was built. We are very happy with the entire experience and would recommend others to go to the store. The only thing that would have made this five stars is if we would have got our furniture a little sooner.

Footboard of our bed set arrived damaged and Ashley has chosen to ignore our request to get it replaced. Would not recommend them. Pdate - had two additional footboards delivered, the first was obviously just pulled from the showroom and was actually damaged worse than the original one we bought. The second one had a very noticable cut in it. We are done dealing with them, they havent been reasonable and their products suck.

I had originally planned on just getting what I needed( a couch and recliner set), and I walked out with all new living room/dining room decor all at a great price! I had the most thoughtful and wonderful shopping experience of my life today with Moriah at the Olympia Ashley Furniture store. The amount of time and thoughtfulness she and her manager took with me to ensure I got exactly what I wanted, and paid the lowest price available was remarkable. Not only did she look up online prices for me she was incredibly thorough explaining all the various options/prices of the different pieces of my order. I’ve been a loyal Ashley customer for years because I love their products, but today I was completely Stunned by the level of care and customer service I received. I highly recommend going to this location.

About a week ago or so, my girlfriend and I went into the store to buy a bed frame. It was Nick’s first day and he helped us find the perfect frame and he made an actual effort to help us find something we’d love.

I have a mixed review as our first encounter was great but the service three days later was very poor. I would give this review a 1 if this was based on my second visit. We made a purchase of new office furniture and assesories for our office. Yuki helped us set everything up and helped us with delivery. We came back into the store three days later as we qualified to save 25% on our entire purchase up until the delivery date. We went in and were helped by Chuck Padilla. He has zero customer service in my eyes. When I was showing him all the items I wanted to purchase this date he asked if some of the items he had up front were mine. I checked and indeed they were. He said we don’t deliver these accessories with the most condescending voice, as if I knew this. I just paid for delivery and not once was told this. Then when asking about other items he no motivation to look or get moving. Then when the service lady(not sure what her title was but she was taking the mirrors and paintings off the walls that I wanted) was preparing our items he was criticizing every move she made and you could tell she was irritated, but kept her composure. I said I would call my husband to pick up the new things I wanted and the items that would not be delivered. We went out to get our vehicle to load and not once did he help. He sat there watching my mom and I take my items from behind their working desk and load them. There is a lot more I could elaborate on, but this is enough. I will not be going back to this store for this reason.

Purchased a mattress for our new trailer and were told it would take a week to 10 days to receive. Called today and was told that it won't arrive until April 11. Too late as we planned to take our trailer out over spring break. Called corporate office only to find out what I already know......they will process a refund. This store is HORRIBLE!!!! Absolutely no customer service. I wish I had read reviews about this store before I bought anything from them.

My wife and daughter went shopping. Liked the store and the sales folks. They found a head board and foot board they really liked and bought it. So that’s at least 4 to 5 stars. They paid the $130 fee to have it delivered to our home. The text message system for a scheduled delivery was a 5 star. The deliver guys where a 5 star. Good guys. This is where the problems start. We received the wrong head board but the correct foot board. Which is weird. Then the rails where not manufactured correctly, on the metal hooks at the end that connects to the head board was mounted upside down so it didn’t work. All this is a 1 or 2 star. So they took the rails back and left the head board. (I was there for the purchase so I didn’t know it was t the correct one). Then when I got the call from an Ashley employee he explained and apologized for everything, then said it would be another 2 weeks until we got the new items. Then he wanted me to know that the new delivery would be at no charge, like he was doing me a favor for not billing us another $130 dollars for their mistake?? This is lesss then 1 star!

My husband and I were in the market for a new bedroom set and mattress, and after visiting multiple stores and online browsing we decided to check out Ashley HomeStore and I'm definitely glad we did. Throughout the entire process we never felt like any gimmicks or pressure to buy was directed towards us. The sales assistant and store manager helped us with listening to all of our expectations and really took the time to explain our options and best choices towards fulfilling them, without trying to sell us overpriced brands or accessories that we didn't need. They were incredibly knowledgeable when it came to various aspects of the furniture and ESPECIALLY mattresses, and made sure that both my husband's and I needs were met with integrity. We will absolutely be returning to this store for future purchases!

They advertised for the Presidents’ Day sale and 60-72 months at zero interest and 25-35% off. It actually is quite the bait switch way of advertising. I was very upset after moving into our new home and went crazy picking out several pieces of furniture to find out at the end, that you only get 6 months 0 interest if you want to get the 25% off. If you choose more months of financing you do not receive the % off. Such a scam! I actually have told several people not to go there because of this. I still ended up ordering furniture because I had spent about two hours picking everything out. Will never do it again though.

If we could give no stars we would. We purchased a recliner couch from Ashely and the salesman pushed an insurance policy on us for the couch stating it would cover anything that went wrong with it. Well, we found out the policy does not cover a darn thing and we wasted paying for a useless insurance policy. I was even told by a rep from the Ashley Corp office Customer Service that they get complaints liek this all the time and that the sales person probably lied just to get the sale. This is unacceptable and Ashley Furniture needs to correct this problem or they will continue to lose business as we will not do any further business with any Ashley Furniture company.

I ordered my furniture almost a month ago and still haven’t received it. They told me it was going to be delivered two weeks from the time I bought it so I waited at my house all day for the first delivery date and they never showed up. When I called them they said they had rescheduled but no one had told me. I rescheduled for the next week and they canceled again. In the meantime I had already gotten rid of all of my furniture to prepare for the first delivery. Needless to say I still don’t have my furniture and I have no furniture in my living room for the upcoming holidays. When I called the call center I spoke to Patty where she stated that I signed a contract which states that there could be delays at the warehouse, instead of apologizing. I will never order anything from them again.
Walked into West Olympia store. No one greeted me, no one in entire time that I was looking for recliners asked to help. Not good business. Will NOT go back.
Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! We had a hard time dealing with the sales rep as she wasn't very bright but she was nice. She told us the wrong amount 3 times then had to have us swipe our card 3 times for the remaining balances. Then we had a delivery date of the 7th for our sectional couch but only 4 of the 7 pieces arrived... so we called customer service and they basically told us too bad and deal with it! We complained to their manager and they finally told us they would deliver the remaining pieces at a later date but they didn't have all the pieces which is weird because when we bought the couch they had all pieces in stock. Took a second day off work to get the second delivery for the rest of my couch and they don't show up.... no phone call and no delivery. I called customer service again and the gal on the line laughs at me, tells me lies saying they did call and that there is no solution OH and also informed me that I need to take a third day off work to recive my couch and that it is my problem to be available for the couch!
They need to have a negative rating!! Ordered and PAID FOR the Jayron couch, loveseat, and chair. High-end dark suede, all power furniture from Ashley. (found out later they didn't even have any in stock) They sent me the look alike Austere low-end suede manual furniture witch they have at %80 off in the store now. Extremely lower in price!! Delivery guy brings it into my house in boxes, sets it up. THAT'S THE KICKER!! Once they set it up, and sign for it you liable for that furniture.(witch I did because it was the same style). But before they leave I noticed the color is off, and it's manual, not power. I let the guys know, they pack it backup an leave. So not only did they try to pass off low-end furniture for high-end furniture. They are still charging delivery fees of a $150, and if I don't pay they are sending me to collections.
I am from Vancouver Wa and I've been looking the last few months for this specific wall art. I was told the item has been discontinued after checking all Portland stores. I had a friend checking Washington stores, she got into contact with Moriah at the Olympia store. She was very efficient and tracked down the piece I've been wanting. She was very friendly and professional. Great price too! I totally recommend Moriah with your furniture needs, hands down to best sales person I've felt with!

We stopped in on black Friday the store was not terribly busy and there were many employees on the floor assisting customers. The store manger helped us when it appeared that we needed assistance he was friendly and professional. We were approved for 9000 in credit and started looking around the store we chose a leather sectional, coffee table, and end tables. The manager had another representative start assisting us. After we made our choices she brought us paperwork that has the breakdown of all the prices and had us start signing then asked us how we want to make a payment. Confused, I asked why we were making a payment if we were putting it on credit. The employee attempted to explain but eventually asked the store manger to come over. He stated we didn't need to make a payment today and the employee was confused. After he left the employee asked us how we wanted our purchase split up between lenders. We were approved for 9000, but it was with different lenders, we then decided that in order to get the advertised special of 0 interest we would go with the lender offering that deal. Not all lenders we were approved for had the same deal. Our purchase went from over 4000 to under 2000. The employee we worked with was friendly however she appeared to be new and didn't understand policy and paperwork took her a long time too complete. The process was confusing when we were given misinformation and the paperwork had to be redone because we wanted the advertised special. This purchase took hours to get complete, I would gave given 5 stars if we wouldn't have waited so long for paperwork, it was over an hour and we had a child with us that was getting bored.

We visited several times before we made a purchase. Each time the sales reps were respectful asking if they could help, then left us alone so we could discuss, and sit on the furniture without expectations. Yuki helped us the first time and each following visit we mentioned we were working with her. The sales team was very respectful of this, but still helped when she wasn’t there. We purchased today!!! I’m so glad we were able to think about our decision with out pressure. It took us almost 2 mo to decide and I’m grateful for Ashley Furniture, Yuki and their team!!! Including Don and Mike who helped while Yuki was off.

I went to the Ashley store to purchase a sectional. I was greeted by Mariah who showed me several examples. I made my selection as far as the particular brand and Mariah helped to ensure that it was configured to utilize the existing space in my living room. She set up delivery in under 3 days. I have been in to the Olympia store 3 times while searching for some living room furniture. You get handed a bunch of paperwork describing the current deals, and then find out later that the deals only apply to some things, and otherwise there is no deal. Problem 1: Not very transparent. Then I felt like I was being tailed around the store by a pushy sales associate. I just want to look. Something will catch my eye or not. Next, the deals are all time-limited. If you come in on Sunday and think you can come back on Tuesday, the deal is now different. They don't negotiate. On Sunday, the set I wanted was 20% off. On Tuesday, it was only 15% off. After asking the sales associate if they could honor the 20% discount, she was unable to. When I asked if she could ask the manager, she did, and then came back to tell me that the next day there was a 20% off sale in the store, and the items I wanted would be 20% off. I asked if I could get that deal now, as I was in the store. She was not able to do that. I left aggravated and purchased my furniture down the street at the Olympia Furniture Company. I have no connection to that store, but they were able to honor the price that the Ashley Store would not honor with no hassles. Most of the sales staff at the Ashley Store seem nice, but your better off ordering online or going to a local store as they have no ability to negotiate and you are obliged to be constantly vigilant to get a good deal.

My wife and I just purchased an Ashley Matress and bed set from here. Staff is very nice and the Manager is super cool. They want to make sure you get the right Matress. We used this machine that shows you your pressure points and determines what kind of bed you need. Pretty cool. I got 4 years 0% interest also.. Cant beat it!

I hope this review will attach to the Olympia store, hard to tell if previous reviews on this site were of Olympia or some other store. We were trying to purchase furniture for our family room, which is a narrow and long room. Patti ( saleswoman) and Don (manager) were incredibly helpful and supportive of our stressful project. I can not say enough about their great customer service. This store is not like other Ashley furniture stores we visited. Their entire focus is to make the customer happy, and that attitude comes from the top down. There was never a time that we visited the store that Don wasn't on the floor with his sales crew. His example to them as he worked with various clients is definitely rubbing off. Great store - we will be back.

Bought a living room set and picked it up. They literally put the furniture in the back room and left us to deal with it from a semi level trailer dock. The sales staff is not first rat, they treat the customer like theyre an inconvenience. The furniture looks nice, but its not a place I plan to buy from again.

Fiasco!!! I purchased a bedroom and livingroom set. I paid for delivery and set up, which was to include the removal of all of the boxes and packing material. My delivery was scheduled for Wednesday November 16th. The truck arrived as promised, and went downhill from there. My sectional was missing a part and would have to be mailed (4 weeks out) They did not set up the bedroom set and left all of the boxes here (customer care did refund the delivery charge). As we started assembling the bed, we discovered that we were missing the right side rail, which made the bed impossible to assemble or use. I had 3/4 of a king size bed in my bedroom with no place to put my king sized mattress to be able to sleep. I called customer care and was on hold with customer care for over two hours. Customer care stated to me that I would be receiving the missing item the next day after 4 pm, which was Thursday. That did not happen. It took 5 days, three delivery trips and two packages in the mail to finally receive all of the parts to the furniture I ordered. 4 nights that I was not been able to sleep in my bed and literally had to sleep on the floor in the living room, over 20 hours spent on the phone with customer care and in person at the store, and two days of time off work to meet their delivery trucks to fix their mistake. The store manager, Alex came out to my house to bring parts from the showroom to try and make my bed at least able to support my mattress and assured me that I would receive some type of compensation for the ordeal, it is now 2 months later and all of my numerous phone calls and emails to store manager Alex have gone unanswered. Ashley Furniture has lost a customer!!! Their customer service promise is complete crap, they do not follow through with their word. ***UPDATE*** After posting this review, customer service did call. They offered me a $100 in store credit. I DO NOT WANT IN STORE CREDIT. What part of I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN do you not understand. I wont even shop at Ashley with their money!!!!!!****

My parents were sold a defective bed. Then had to fight to get a new bed. Guess what? It's not the same bed AND it is more expensive. They were fed some bs about how they couldn't get the same bed because it was on a special "customer satisfaction" policy that involved everything BUT customer satisfaction.

RUN AWAY!!!!! IF you choose (against all the advice of so many) to go here, PLEASE make SURE the stuff is IN STOCK!! Been waiting almost 2 months, bought almost a houseful of furniture...Only thing right is the dining set. Paid $2600 for power bases for the bed but they didn't have all the parts...so, I paid $2500 for a BOX SPRING!!!!! Customer service is trying to fix it although the store said they would...two weeks ago....you can't call the store directly, you get channeled through customer service..plan to spend a lot of time on hold...like I am right now. PS, one star is just for the one customer service rep that helped me, she deserves more, but, this is about the store and it wouldn't let me post with NO stars!!!!
My fiance and I purchased an entire king size bedroom with mattresses for over $6,000. Our order was supposed to arrive on the 16th of December; however, it was rescheduled to the 23rd. We had to juggle our schedules, but made it work... in the meantime I was contacted by the delivery company that was extremely rude on the phone because he couldn't find my address. The furniture was supposed to arrive between 11-2... they finally showed at 2:30. The furniture was beautiful; however, when they went to put the mattresses on it, the mattress and box spring were a queen. We reviewed our order and saw that it was originally misappropriated as a queen instead of a king... no big deal. The delivery guys took 45 minutes and than complained that they "wasted" 2 hours at our house! We have now been contacting Ashley furniture and getting the run around. Customer care says we have to speak to sales and than sales says customer service, etc. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of customer service and hope they improve for future sales.

We ordered a bedroom set and a dining room table at th e beginning of November. The bedroom set came a day later that they said it would come. We are still waiting on our dining room table! We were told one day, which turned into two days later, which turned into three days later, which turned into it not being scheduled to come yet. After asking to talk to a manager of course they're too busy and have to call me back on their time. I'm done with this store as this has happened to many times and friends I've talked too have had the same experience.
The worst customer service I have ever seen no show on delivery and they take there sweet time to refund your money. This store from there track record should just close there door.
Getting a decent customer service representative is hit or miss at best. After many phone calls and visits I'd say maybe 2 out of 9 people were both friendly and helpful. As for actually receiving an order as scheduled...it seems that requires a small miracle. First our order was put "on hold" by accident so it wasn't shipped from the distribution center on time. Eventually it was partially delivered with a date given for the rest, but they forgot to "officially schedule" the second part of the order for the date promised, so again, it didn't ship. We will see if that actually happens. In the mean time my daughter is still sleeping on the floor.
My sales guy is Shawn. I met him when I wasn't even looking for furniture. 3 months later I was in the market and he is the one I went back to. He and his co-workers are very personable, helpful and patient. I have more to purchase and will go back to him in the future.
First and last time shopping here. Staff was friendly... but... ordered a bunch of furniture, 2 beds, coffee tbl, end tbls, tv stand etc iodine. Was told when we ordered it that delivery would be Sept 22. Perfect since we have guests staying with us in October, which is why we went there to begin with we needed a bed for the guest room. 2 days later get a call that the bed we need won't be delivered until 26th of October. TOO LATE. So we asked could we get the floor model. Was told no that it's in the ad and can only sell 1 floor model a month.... So now we are in a pinch to get the bed in time and keep the same price point. The only one similar to the one we wanted was on clearance and couldn't be put on the 6yr 0%interest that the rest of thr furniture was on, had to pay cash/Credit card. I'm pissed to say the least when we ordered everything we were there for 3 hours! So to keep the same price and financing and get everything in time we had to settle for another bed set in a lighter color. Still not happy. Glad it'll be in the guest room where I don't have to look at it. NEVER AGAIN will I waste my time at this store.
Bunch of thieves! My boyfriend and I were trying to furnish our home and we stopped into Ashley and found the perfect table. However we needed something quick but we're willing to wait the 2 weeks for it to come in. As soon as my boyfriend swiped his card the sales guy came back and said it would be 2 months. We asked for a refund and waited the 10 business days and when we found out they hadn't given us the reimbursement we went in and they actually hadn't even processed the refund. I hope we get our money back eventually!!
Went in to get dining room table chairs for a table and spoke with the manager, Stephan. We asked about negotiating a deal, since we are buying 8 chairs- he absolutely refused to work with us. We have shopped with Ashley's furniture for a few years, at 3 different locations and have never been treated so poorly. I wouldn't even give this store a one star, but am forced to. I just don't want anyone else to waste their time at this particular location, not when there are other stores willing to go our of their way to give you their business.
Nice furniture but the sales team can be overbearing, we still got a pretty decent deal but only because we where buying in bulk and that really helped with the discounts. The nightmare started when we requested that we pick up the furniture from the Tukwilla store about a month after we purchased it. On the day we where suppose to pick up the furniture they called and said that they where confirming my pickup for the 4 days later... After about thirty minutes on the phone I also found out that 2 of my items would be on back order for a month.... This would usually result in a 1 star review, however I was able to talk to a local manager and they eventually offered free delivery on my order, and she apologized for the issues so by them taking responsibility for the errors went a long way in my book, this the 3 stars.
I want to thank the patient and helpful Olympia store staff for enduring my difficult, but ultimately great, mattress-buying experience. After buying a Beautyrest hybrid mattress, a recliner, and a pillow, I loved the recliner and the pillow-- a technician was even dispatched to help with an assembly issue for the recliner that the movers didn't notice at delivery. The technician was knowledgeable and solved the problem quickly. But I decided the mattress was too hard, after I barely slept for two weeks. I fell asleep in the store on a softer bed, and asked to exchange my hard one for the comfy bed. When I discovered that I had to wait 30 days to select a new mattress, I was sure the store was complicit in torture. In my altered sleepless state, I burst into tears, and a very kind manager had to promise me he would try to solve the problem. He tried to waive the requirement, but couldn't, so I had to wait the full 30 days. Disgruntled, I went home to a few more sleepless nights. A week later, I noticed I was sleeping better; 30 days went by and I was not sure, so I waited 40 days. I decided to choose a softer bed, and the nice salesman wrote up a lovely softer bed. By 50 days, my hard bed was softer and more comfortable, so I asked to delay the exchange. A few days later, I realized that I love my bed. It is now the softest bed I can imagine sleeping on, with firm support and amazing soft memory foam. I am so glad I had to wait, even if complained loudly throughout the entire process! Thanks to the patience and kindness of the staff at Ashley in Olympia, I really do love my new bed. Memory foam mattresses do take time to soften and the body needs time to adjust, just like they say! The pillow was instantly wonderful, though!
Very professional staff in store and at the time of delivery
The Store manager (Jerry) was the worst manager I have ever dealt with. He told my husband and I to cancel our sell if we can't get what we want or when we want it instead of trying to help us out and accommodate us. Our sales person, Nicole H., was FANTASTIC!! And now our account/order was sabotaged and one of our pieces of furniture was delayed by 7 days and it is possible it could be longer! Needless to say, we are BEYOND frustrated and I am not sure I would ever buy from them again or at least as long as Jerry is around as manager.
It's like going to a used car lot! They had nice furniture, but the sales tactics were insane. We were attacked seconds after walking in and said we just wanted to browse a bit, but they wouldn't leave us alone. We really needed new living room furniture and they had a good financing option, or so we thought, so we went ahead and made a purchase. While we waited for our credit to run, my wife and I watched the sharks chasing the fish around the store while making the Jaws music, duuuuh-duh...... duuuh-duh... duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh! Now, almost 48 hrs later, we find out that they opened up credit lines in both my wife's, and my name, yet only charged hers. We thought we were filing for a joint account not 2 separate accounts! Why open an account in my name if they aren't going to use it. I'm so disappointed that I'm thinking about cancelling the order even though the damage is already done. If you don't mind used car sales people and shady credit tactics, then no worries.
