The salesperson at Ashley Furniture was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the products. She went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating in my search for the perfect sofa.

We have been looking for a China hutch. After seeing one we liked online at Macy’s, we started there. They told us it was online only through a third party they knew nothing about and then suggested we try Ashley Furniture. Anya greeted us and offered to show us what they had, and was so patient and kind! We found a hutch we loved but wouldn’t have looked twice at online. We bought it AND a matching dining room table set!

Initial visit was with Anna, she was great. I was with my daughter who was looking for a sectional that would fit in her apartment to replace her current couch. Anna spent plenty of time explaining fabric and layout options. We went away with plenty of knowledge. A few days later we returned with a sectional we found on Ashley’s site and needed additional information. Anna was there and she assisted us with all the additional information my daughter needed. By the end of the conversation and Anna’s expressed desire that she feel comfortable with her selection, we purchased the 2 piece sectional. And, with it scheduled for white glove delivery 3 days from purchase. Thank you Anna!

We really like going to Ashley, they always have quality furniture with helpful staff. This visit Joseph was friendly, not pushy, and got answers to our questions.

Horrible customer service. I have ordered 2 bedroom sets from The Olympia Ashley Furniture store and both times there has been delays, no communication regarding items being discontinued or unavailable prior to delivery. My most recent order was delivered missing items. When I called the store to tell them I just want to cancel the missing items from my order. Over and over they said it was taken care of but 3 months later I still am being charged for an item that was NEVER delivered. Be ware if you choose to purchase your furniture from the Olympia Ashley Furniture Store.

I found what I wanted at a good price. The girl that helped me check out acted like she didn’t want to be there. I lost count on how many times she yawned. I’m glad I did not have to “tip“ her or else I would’ve left nothing. The product is good, but the customer service is lacking.

My account disappears after a year, I call to try to figure it out and why, I had a 6000 dollar credit. I get text messages and emails daily. Now I have to reopen a different account. Then she hangs up on me. I was a little frustrated at the situation but not rude by any means. I'll just go some place else with my money.

Avery made this the best experience ever. He is an amazing young man with honesty and patience. We left so excited about our purchases. I was disappointed Ashley said there was a discount but when we got there we found out you needed a minimum purchase required in order to get this discount although this was not listed in the ad.

Avery is amazing! He is amazing, patient and not pushy. I would 100% recommend asking for Avery when you shop.

The sales experience was fine… At least a four. But the delivery experience sucked and I would give it a one. I was given a three hour window for when the delivery truck would arrive at my apartment. The driver and his helper arrived one hour earlier than the window and I told him I was not there because they were early and that I could be there within 10 to 15 minutes. The driver said he would wait for 10 but not 15 minutes. I then “persuaded “ him that he would not leave until I arrived, as it was his fault that he was one hour early, not mine. He started to blame the company’s app and of course I told him that was his problem, not mine. Totally unprofessional and unpleasant experience for the delivery part.

Our experience in the store was awesome! Anya helped me pick a great sofa in my budget while also letting me have space and time to think it over. I appreciated that. I don't usually shop in store because I don't want the old school sales tactics. I was very pleased! I would say it's very Autism friendly store as well. I told Anya a family member was coming with me and they needed time to get comfortable walking the store before buying. They were amazing and helping us!

I will never shop at your stores again! Your salesman out right lied to us on two different occasions. First, he lied about the cost of the protection on the sofa. He said it was $300 and in fact is $595. Second he claimed that the original quote he gave us didn't include the $300 protect and proceeded to add $300 to our amount. The next issue we had was getting a copy of our invoice. It took me over a week and several calls with no luck. I ended up having to go back to the store to get it printed out. Last time I purchased furniture at your store was completely different experience. I realize you won't take any action on this issue. Must be nice to not have to worry repeat customers.

I ordered furniture in store and scheduled a sofa delivery with their AI Automated system as this is the only way to schedule delivery now according to the store employee. I cleared my entire day and waited for my order, and then called the store just to confirm the time it would be delivered. No one even bothered to call me to tell me the furniture would be delayed by weeks. No one called me to tell me. The automated system didn’t even send me a message. This is ridiculously unprofessional but of course they will just blame it on “the automated system” which also Happens to be an AI system btw. In the end, I cancelled my order bc why would I ever do business with a company that wastes my time and doesn’t even bother to tell me my furniture isn’t coming the day I scheduled. They lost a customer for life.

Sept 29, 2025 I purchased a temperpedic mattress and adjustable base. The base did not work correctly upon delivery. Ashley does not care. They got my money, they blame supplier. It’s been over 3 months. No new base, no parts replacement. Nobody takes accountability. I was told a motor would be replaced 2 months ago. No updates. I’m so sick of this crap. Ashley, you owe me a working adjustable base. Period. I get the same response every time. “We will send you an email”. ….never happens.

If I could give no stars I would. We bought a reclining sofa and liveseat set less than 2 years ago. We also got the warranty. Both are crap. After less than 2 years the recliner on one side of the sofa will no longer g9 down. I called the warranty people and they told me that it wasn't covered because it wasn't "accidental " damage. They said that it was a manufacturer problem. I spent a great deal of money to only have to replace my furniture is a crazy amount of time.

We went looking for a particular style swivel rocker. Ashley had it so we bought it. No stress no mess.

Joseph was great. Got us exactly what we were looking for without over selling. Knowledge and friendly.

This one star review is for the second time we made a purchase here at the Olympia store. We should have known that spending thousands of dollars here was a bad idea when we wanted to carry out two small items and they could figure out how to let us pay for them so, we had to come back the next day. When we purchased our new bedroom set the sales lady was nice and professional and asked us when we wanted it delivered and she told us when it would “first be available”. We picked a few days later because they said we needed to remove the old bed and furniture because they don’t do that. We scheduled a day that we also could take a day off work because she didn’t know what time they would arrive but assured us that they would let us know. We did as we were told and got rid of the bed and furniture and then sat there waiting for the new bed and furniture to arrive. It didn’t and they didn’t call either. I called the store and the manager told me that they don’t schedule the deliveries and we would have to call the delivery company. If that were true then why did the sales lady have us at her computer and ask us to pick the day we want it delivered? I called the delivery company and they said they don’t have the bed is stock but it should be there in a week. Wow one week with no bed!!! Only it got worse, I called near the new delivery date and they said it would be another week. When talking to them it was like talking to robots so I asked for a supervisor and he was the same. They said “in this case I can schedule the delivery for the date I see”. They don’t know how to solve problems. Every time I called they told me a different date and said there was nothing that could be done. They didn’t care that we didn’t have a bed to sleep on for just over two weeks because they told us to get rid of it. It wasn’t until I got very mad with them that they finally pushed the delivery to get me the bedroom set in just two more days. If we are spending so much money with them, why do they treat us like we are not important? It’s like we are just a dollar sign to them and once they have your money they don’t care anymore. Yes, we should have cancelled and got our money back but with all the lies we really thought we would get it sooner by waiting than to start over. Stay away from this crazy mess or at least be prepared to sleep on the couch for a couple of weeks.

Be VERY careful if you are ever considering buying a mattress from Ashley. They will lead you to believe that if you are unsatisfied with the mattress, you'll be able to return it and get your money back--but that is misleading, there is NO money back guarantee and they are extremely careful to explicitly never say that. I just realized that I gave Ashley $4,000 for absolutely nothing. I feel like they just robbed me blind.

Update! They are claiming both pieces have been delivered. It is now Jan 5th 2026 and I am still missing the loveseat I ordered in store. They now have to file a claim which based on other reviews can take months! I feel robbed to say the least. The Sales Rep was great but the experience after the purchase has been horrible! Can’t get a hold of anyone via phone at the location. I placed the order in store the 23rd of November and upon delivery on the 15th of December, only one piece was delivered. I was never notified that the love seat was on back order and there’s no estimated date for delivery.

So the bed looks nice. But here's the problem, when my wife went into the store to purchase this bed for our son which was a big deal, it's his first big person bed which was also gifted to him by his Grandpa, she asked specifically from the people before she ever ordered it if the bed needed a box spring. She was told matter of factly and specifically that no it did not need a box spring. Now we have the bed. It was just delivered and guess what, it needs a box spring, yet we do not have one. My wife spent over 30 minutes on the phone speaking with people about this issue. She was tossed around to multiple people. She finally got somebody who she spent quite some time with on the phone who claimed they were going to be able to look into getting us compensation for the issue so that we could then buy a box spring. So she was put on hold, and then, after being on hold for quite some time she was disconnected. She called back and tried to get connected to the person she was speaking with and what they told her was. They had no way of knowing who she was speaking with and there was no such compensation. So now here we are purchasing a box spring which we would have purchased quite some time ago, how do we known we need one. But we were told specifically we did not need one. This is ridiculous and unprofessional, and the company should come and say it us for the issue and the box spring.

The employees were nice, but it took over a half hour to purchase a rug that we were leaving with.

Kelley and Ryan are very personable and a joy to work with. They answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable. It was actually a lot of fun shopping for a new bed and furniture. I highly recommend working with Kelly and Ryan at Ashley furniture and would do it again in the future.

Anya was very helpful, showing my the chairs Ashley had on the floor that matched my interest. She was polite and very thorough when explaining the options for delivery and the timelines.

I've been waiting 5 months for a claim from this company. Now they call me and tell me I no longer have a claim, that they don't want to replace the sofas because they have electronic problems. My foot got trapped in one of those sofas. This is a disgrace of a store.

We found a couch that we both liked at Ashley. It was easy to set up for delivery- though one piece was later on back order so we had to wait for that to get delivered a few weeks later. Before the last piece finally got here it was obvious that the sectional was too large for the space. When I called to have a console piece returned I spoke with Gabriella and she said I would hear back from “someone” in a week or two.

Sales person was very friendly an helpful in choosing the right sectional for our space. We purchased the atomon for extra sitting space when needed. The price overall was reasonable, with delivery. Delivery was fast an easy. Ashley communication upto an including delivery was outstanding, new exactly when it would arrive. Overall experience was great, very happy.

Just got a beautiful couch for a great deal. They were patient with me while I decided whether I wanted to follow through, and held it for me until I was able to arrange to pick it up. Although I wish they were able to provide some information on delivery options and services, I would think that’s something that would come up often that people would need help with, I was able to get a friend to help me pick it up, and two gentleman went above and beyond to help us, I only remember Joseph’s name. Thank you Joseph. This is my second couch from this Ashley store, this was a better experience than the first time about 7 years ago where they forgot part of my purchase when delivering and then tried to tell me it wasn’t part of the purchase. Eventually after providing documentation otherwise I was allowed to come pick it up from the store, which was inconvenient since I paid for out of city delivery and had to find someone willing to help me with a truck. But that living room set held up really well through several moves, cats, dogs, and roommates. Someone else is enjoying it now, and now I have a new stupendous couch to enjoy! I hope it holds up the same as the last. If Kelley hadn’t made it so easy when we walked in the door, I probably wouldn’t have purchased from them again, and now they have restored my faith in Ashley furniture and I'm sure I’ll be back as i have my eye on a couple of their other pieces.

Store is an absolute scam. Prices are hundred to hundreds of dollars more expensive than their website. Will only give you the pricing if you show them and they have to get “approval” Also the basic shipping “starts at $50” when online it is just free. I also found a tv stand for $70 dollars cheaper on Amazon. Same brand name and model. This was an online only deal, so drop shipping just like Amazon but for an increased price and ship time Use the store for seeing the pieces in person but order online or make sure you show them the online prices and don’t fall for their tactics to add a bunch of nonsense to your order. After reading all of these other reviews they feel very AI and fake. They all have the same key points highlighted in a disingenuous feel.

Ashley representative Joseph Parks was very patient with me, he showed me varieties of mattresses I could pick from. I ended up purchasing a queen size mattress. He also went further to ask the manager for a military discount as requested if they give military discount. I will definitely come back to purchase more stuff soon. Thank you Joseph Parks.

Cory assisted me to select a recliner, that will be used to help me recover from hip replacement surgery. Corey was extremely helpful with details and features of the choices. He was generous with his time and very personable. A final recommendation that he made, is the chair I selected. I am very pleased with the recliner because the positions allow me to adjust for arthritic pain. I slept well on it my first night of ownership. No pain in the morning! Thanks, Corey!!

The store is fine. The customer service in store is fine. The furniture itself is junk. I purchased a couch in 2023, and silly me did not purchase the extended warranty. I did not think that I would need to because when I spend hundreds of dollars on brand new furniture, I expect it to last more than 2 years. So of course, Ashley won't do anything for me, I am out hundreds of dollars and I'm stuck with a broken couch. I will cut up my Ashley credit card and I will go elsewhere for a replacement couch.

We loved a recliner that we had purchased a year earlier and hoped to purchase a second one. We were greeted and welcomed immediately upon entering the store. We brought a picture of the recliner and the salesperson led us right to the same model. The recliner was on sale and the salesperson managed to get us another discount for the holiday and explained how we could save delivery costs if we picked the recliner up ourselves. Great product and outstanding service.

I must say, independent of the shopping experience, the computer system had some weird glitches and was unable to process my payment. And the email option to pay also was unable to process payment (there was plenty of $$ in all 3 types of payment options we tried). I had to come back in to pay another day. Not a big problem though. And Anya and Kelly were both sparkling examples of sales people that were friendly and knowledgeable to the point where I thought I was just shopping with helpful friends.

Comfortable salesperson - social, interested in what I was looking for, but not pushy. Clean showroom that is easy to navigate. We bought a loveseat that looks exactly like its photo on the Ashley website.

I called the store and discovered I could view the piece I was interested in. When I mentioned I would be in soon, Krys told me to speak to Ryan when I arrived. As I walked in the store, I was greeted by Ryan and shown immediately to the item. We made the sale right on the spot, and I'm getting new barstools on Friday. Yay!

10/10 furniture store. The staff here are really amazing. I needed a mattress, and the sleep specialist Marcus Nickleson 100% helped me find the best option for sure. He did an excellent job listening to my specific sleep difficulties and helped me find the most affordable mattress option that still legitimately helped my bad back. I really appreciated how patient he was and how he was willing to take the time to make sure I was getting the best choice for me. His bubbly demeanor and kind confidence also really helped make the purchase an enjoyable experience. The usual stress of furniture shoping was easily forgotten because of the welcoming and kind atmosphere Marcus creates in his workplace. Nothing beats buying in store when the staff are this amazing! This location is totally worth your time (and one i will be coming back to).

We had a very frustrating experience with Ashley Furniture. Our couch delivery was rescheduled three times without any notice. We had already gotten rid of our old couch based on the original delivery date, so we were left without a couch for three weeks while they tried to sort out their internal issues. Unfortunately, the store was no help. Gabriella promised we would be refunded our delivery fee, but now, even a month after finally receiving the couch, we’re getting the runaround. They repeatedly promise to call back and never do—and now they’re trying to backtrack on the refund they agreed to. Truthfully, there are plenty of excellent, family-owned furniture stores in Olympia. I’d recommend checking those out before wasting your time (and money) here.

Kelley was very helpful and knowledgeable about mattresses. We had the opportunity to try several in order to make an informed choice. We purchased a mattress, and are anticipating the delivery. Most of our furniture is Ashley and has proven to be of excellent quality. We will be returning to shop in the future.

My husband were in need of a dining room table that seats 8; and a small table for his watch collection. We just started looking for these pieces and Ashley’s was the fist furniture we walked into. We were greeted to kindly and not felt pushed to buy something. The guy gave us space. Looked around and found the two pieces we were looking for. They matched exactly what we were looking for; we were in shock how perfect these to pieces would match our style. The our sales person (Marcus Nickelson) was the BEST!!! If there is anything else we might need; he is our guy!

Horrible. First they told me I I had to to buy the base that the mattress was sitting on and then when I paid for it, it was heading out the door. They decided that the base that the mattress was sitting on was it the right skew so I got a lesser value base than I was being advertised to, I will never come back here again, and I will tell everybody I know not to come here the manager was not very Consoling in argumentative wouldn’t make any amendments

The store itself has a large assortment of anything furniture related but everything is sorted in a way where you can't just look at one type like the "dinner tables" you have to go around the store looking cause they are scattered not in one spot. It was alot of walking .

Watch the deceptive pricing! We had a great experience buying a sectional, then came back for some accessories. After check out we noticed the prices were different. We went back in the store and we're told the tag was wrong on an item, we did get a refund but the way that everyone just said "ok" and removed the charges was very strange to me. The salesperson also didn't seem to know the actual price overall not care. Very odd experience.

This business totally deserves the five stars. We bought our couches a year ago. From the beginning we had great sales person that wasn’t high pressure at all. Knew a lot of information about the products. We made our selection and went with the in house financing because of the promotion they had at the time. We have loved our couches and a in new purchased. It has been a year and we have had an issue come up with one of the recliner mechanism. The warranty/ repair process has been seamless. Provide pictures and descriptions to tech support, they were able to diagnose over the phone. They shipped us the part and schedule a visit for the technician to come out and install the part. We have been very happy with the whole experience and will definitely be using them in the future.

Purchase a king bed frame online. Tried to submit a review on their website. It won’t post because I need to verify my email yet no verification email is being sent. When I got the confirmation call of delivery they said they would be assembling the frame. That was a negative. Couple hours later and frustration. Love the look. However the middle supports are awful. A plastic peg with no thread to attach to. Would not recommend. Spend a little more and get quality furniture. Lesson learned.

Received a text the morning of the delivery that my order would not be delivered for another week when I’m only 16 miles from the store😖I’m 74 years old sand been sleeping on a couch for over 2 weeks waiting for my bed

Not happy. We were not informed of the exorbitant delivery fee. Promised delivery date was not met. Reason given was that ALL parts except the mattress were available. New delivery date set. That was not honored because the mattress was available, but other parts were not. We cancelled the order and have put Ashley on our personal 'do not buy from' list.

We came into Ashley Furniture just to look at couches and ended up leaving with a couch, a bed, and a new dining room table—all thanks to Marcus. He was fast, funny, and honestly just a great salesman… maybe even a little too good! What really stood out was how happy he seemed to be there. His energy was contagious and made the whole experience actually fun (which you don’t always get when furniture shopping). Marcus has this chameleon-like personality that makes him easy to connect with—I could see him selling anything to anyone. 10/10 would recommend shopping here solely because of him.

Initial Shopping experience was good… I knew what I wanted when I went in and it was ordered to be direct shipped to me. I live 2 hours away and didn’t want to return for pickup. I was told repeatedly that if my item was broken when received that I would only have 3 days to bring it back to the store for replacement, then back for pickup again. Of course, one of my items was broken when received. I bought a pair of lamps. I managed to make a repair that makes the lamp useable but am still disappointed that I was limited to a three day turn around. If I lived by the store, it might have been feasible. I think this policy should be revisited for those who live far away from stores. I probably won’t be ordering from Ashley in the future due to this issue.

Avery accommodated our return and credits from a returned, damaged piece. He made the process seemless. We will only work with him in the future.

The showroom is over staffed with salesmen/women who are airheads. We ultimately spent over $2,000 on 2 bedroom sets but had to stay 10 feet away from our salesman (Corey) because he smelled like an ashtray. This should have been an indicator of the rest of the process for us but we were desperate to get the bedroom sets to our house. Our mistake. We made the purchase through Ashley because of their quick delivery schedule. The first delivery date was canceled on us less than 45 minutes before it was supposed to arrive because our items were not even in the country yet! This is after they confirmed the day prior to the delivery date that our items would arrive on time. But they guaranteed our items would arrive the following week. This time they canceled 2 hours AFTER the expected delivery time for the same reason. Items still not in the country yet. I had to take off work 3 separate times in order to facilitate Ashley's schedule but they were unwilling to work with me. I drove to the store in order to cancel the entire order. Despite having numerous saleswomen around the customer service desk, they all disappeared the minute I requested help with my order. Apparently the only woman who could access customer orders was on break. She eventually showed up and made no apologies, no concessions in order to save the sale, nor was she the least bit friendly. Apparently I had inconvenienced her. I will gladly spend more at other furniture stores before I ever spend another dollar at Ashley.

My wife and I ordered a couch and coffee table. On delivery day the couch was not fitting through the door. The delivery men did not make any attempt to fit the couch through the door. No attempt to take apart pieces that could easily be taken off, no attempt to take off the plastic wrapping or the cardboard materials. They placed the couch next to the door and outright said they could not fit it through. Instead, the delivery men told me that if I paid them $100 on the side, they would take the door off and then put the couch through the door. So there was no problem getting it through the door, they just wanted to make money on the side. I asked them if this isn't something they already do, considering all other companies I have used prior to Ashley do take the door off if needed for deliveries. They said no. I contacted the store to report the issue. I spoke to two people named Ryan and Heather. Ryan left my wife a voice message stating they could bring back the couch and take the door off (her iPhone even has the transcript of the voice message). When I mentioned this he backtracked and stated they wouldn't take the door down, I even mentioned the voice message. He simply gas lit me saying he didn't say it. I asked both Ryan and Heather couldn't they take the door off as a courtesy, since their delivery men tried to take an extra $100 from us (something Ryan confirmed they should never do). Neither one was willing to do us the simple courtesy. Instead Heather decided to be rude. Horrible customer service. Would never recommend them. How can you work with a company that tries to take extra money from your customers? And how does a company offer no appeasement to a customer who had a negative experience? I have worked in customer service before, if a customer has a bad experience there is an attempt made to appease them, a small attempt or a big attempt. Ryan nor Heather attempted any appeasement. Horrible.

I also got the pleasure to work with the ladies at the front desk , whom also did a fabulous job . Pretty sure i will always start there before any where else . Thank you to all !

Great staff. Great options to buy furniture. Unfortunately there delivery service is bad. Becareful getting anything delivered from them. The 2 guys that did deliver our couch forced there way thru the hallway and ended up ripping off our closet door handle. Have spoke to there customer service and pretty much you get to fix whatever they damage in your house. Won't be returning to buy anything from them again. Plenty of others that don't destroy your stuff inside house when delivering furniture.

The best shopping experience for finding the perfect piece for our home. I had an amazing experience working with Didier. From the moment I walked into the store, he was incredibly helpful and attentive. Didier took the time to understand my style preference and budget, offering thoughtful suggestions. Whether it was recommending specific pieces, helping me visualize how they would look in my space, or just offering expert advice. There was also a slight issue with the WiFi that day, but Didier along with manager Jeff were there in the best way to make the process as smooth as possible and I truly felt they had the best interest at heart for the customer. If you’re looking for someone who really knows their stuff and goes the extra mile, I highly recommend Didier and Jeff!

Bought a sectional sofa with electric recliners less than a year ago. HUGE mistake. The cushions are breaking down. One of the recliners no longer works. Cheaply made. We didn't think it would last a couple years, hasn't even lasted a year. I do NOT recommend buying from Ashely. Will be looking elsewhere to replace this POS. EDIT: I tried contacting the email address from the reply from Ashley, TWICE, no response. Looks like they don't stand behind their warranty either.

I walked in wanting to look at a bed frame I had been eyeing for about a week online for my daughter. I was ignored by everyone, yet other customers were being helped and approached. I saw about 3 employees standing around at this time that could have even offered a "hello". I'll just make sure to but elsewhere.

Store help was great. But i was told after i paid for merchandise that i had to drive an hour to south spanaway into a business center and then wait over an hour to pick up 2 bar stools. Never again. Need to pick up furniture from store i will but from . Too much of a hassle!

Purchased a coffee table yesterday. Micheal was the sales associate that helped us. I have no issue with people smoking weed on their own time but if you're gonna do it at work, make sure you don't reek like it when you come in. My oldest was getting antsy being in the showroom and he climbed up on a short entertainment table. Myself and his dad told him to get down immediately and michael decided to put in his two sense RIGHT after we were telling our son to get down. Know your place. I had a $50 off coupon that I got for signing up for ads or whatever - was never applied. Was also told we could just pick up the table from the warehouse in Spanaway Monday- Friday. Drove a truck all the way out to spanaway only for the warehouse to be closed because they only do customer pick ups Tuesday- Saturday. The girl I conversed with was super sweet and caring. Was very reluctant to come here and now I'm wishing I didn't.

Pleasantly surprised at choices I had. Just too bad that stock is not available in Olympia and if you pick up yourself then you have to drive clear up to Tacoma. Settled for home delivery which isn’t cheap and the computer app for securing delivery was not the best. I am still happy with my choices and the furniture is quality!

I came in looking for a TV stand advertised online. I was promptly helped by a nice gentleman and two lovely ladies who provided information to all my questions, from sizing to interchangeable pieces, and delivery. The final price was fair and included a 5 year warranty. Overall pleased with my purchase.

I thought I was getting outstanding customer service when we bought our couch and were assured that it would be delivered the following Wednesday. I advised our salesperson I really needed this couch with the queen sleeper by Thanksgiving. I was assured it was in stock and there would be no problem. The day of delivery, I was left hanging until 3:30pm before receiving a phone call that I would not be receiving my couch. In fact, it would now be delivered on December 3. I reminded my salesperson that the whole point of buying THIS COUCH was its availability prior to Thanksgiving. They refused to sell us the floor model. Alas, I was out of luck. My daughter and family came and everyone was uncomfortable. So thanks for that… Today is now December 3. My husband called a half hour ago to be told the couch will now not be delivered until December 10. Yes. You read that correctly. After all of this, WE had to call to find out the couch is delayed another week. Maybe we will be lucky and get an actual call the next time it is delayed. I regret trying to save money by going to Ashley. This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. Worst of all is the lack of contact. There is no excuse for the poor service given. At this point, I should ask for my money back but I really wanted this couch.

Although I had a 5 star experience purchasing my new dining table set, I must edit the complete experience as 1 star. When I purchased and paid cash for my set I was told it would be available for pick up on December 20, 2024. I had a family member that would be in town to help us pick it up. However, I then received three more calls moving the pick up dates further way. The dates were Dec. 20, Dec. 24, Jan. 3, and the last date given was Jan. 20. I asked that it be delivered for free due to the four date changes and my family would no longer be here to help with pick up. I was told I would be charged $100 for delivery. I was also told it was because of the holidays. I would expect much better planning and customer service from such a large and experienced company. I think free delivery in this situation is reasonable. This is very disappointing.

We went to the Ashley furniture store in Olympia yesterday and were there for 30-40 minutes looking, but never had a salesperson approach us despite the fact there were several just hanging around the desk area chatting. There is an Ashley item we want to buy, but we will get it elsewhere or online.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, but purchases from this store are not returnable. Make sure to try out the furniture you looking at for an extended period in the showroom. Once it gets delivered, there's no recourse if the furniture ends up causing aches and pains, etc.

Made my purchase back in August and was originally told my because of stock/travel my purchase would come in 2 deliveries. The first was supposed to be in 2 weeks and the next shortly following. Fast forward to now and it is November and I finally have everything. It ended up taking 4 deliveries to get it all because the order was screwed up and things were missing or wrong, and nothing came in “due to problems with the manufacturer.” Essentially I was sold something they did not actually have in stock and provided a guesstimate on when it might exist in the world all packaged like reality. Even the deliveries themselves were messed up and wrong. I would be told my delivery will be between a certain time and they would either be an hour ahead of that (with a few minutes warning) or they would be hours late (with no warning.) I did call Ashley and speak to them on a few occasions and was only ever provided “reasons” but never any kind of apology or anything to try and make it right. Did I get my furniture? Manager ordered the wrong part for my bed now I have to return these 20ft side rails to the store. I have no means of being able to return them even thou it was their fault placing the wrong orders and there’s no way they can order me the right ones and picking these up without bringing this junk back into the store. Go to another Ashley’s IMO.

My family and I went into this store the first time to purchase new couches and a bedroom set for my son. We had cash and were willing to make purchases for our new home. We left shortly, because no one wanted to help us and we left. Months later, we decided to go back and try it again. We went back and again, no one helped us. The other customers were being assisted, but again no one wanted to assist us, they wouldn't even address us to tell us someone would be with us shortly.

My bed delivery has been canceled twice, on the day of the scheduled delivery. I have been trying to reach the store by phone for almost an hour and nobody answers - I keep being rerouted to customer service and they try calling the store with no success. At this point I will not be purchasing anything from Ashley in the future and will not be recommending Ashley to anyone.

We’ve ordered furniture since memorial Day since they had a sale going on and now we are still waiting at this time for confirmation on time and dates. There has been at least 7 times they rescheduled our delivery date this is ridiculous what kind of service is this!!!!

Got the chance to allow a new employee to experience a full sale! Everyone was amazing!

Ordered our couch on 6/30/24. Soonest available delivery was for 7/16/24. (Which was fine) Four days prior to delivery date(today), we had to confirm our delivery, which we did. 24 hours prior to delivery date, we were suppose to get a 4 hour window of when it would be delivered. Never got that(yesterday). So we reached out to figure out what was going on and we were told that one of the pieces we ordered wasn’t in the warehouse yet and delivery would be scheduled once it arrived. (Hopefully 48-72 hours, we’ll see) 1. We wouldn’t have known any of this had I not reached out to figure out what was going on. 2. The delivery was already scheduled. Overall frustrating process with no communication. Don’t have a customer confirm a delivery when you aren’t going to deliver. Will update this review on actual couch once it’s delivered.

It's no easy feat to find wall-hugging reclining theater seating with 2 seats and a center console for a 5th-wheel RV slide. Oh yeah, it also has to come in pieces to be assembled INSIDE the RV. See that? Complicated, but Jose was up to the task and we found one that worked for us, and it looks good, AND was under $1000... shocker! Thanks for your patience Jose!!

The couch with a broken frame was delivered roughly a year ago. Called, emailed, tried sooo many things, but never got a call back. Never ever got anyone to even answer the store phone. After a month, I just gave up. Also, was supposed to come with throw pillows and never got them. The quality of the couch is garbage. It seems this one was built at a slant, so you tip forward. Not at all how the display model was. I haven't paid a dime towards my bill, and I never will. This has been the most awful experience. I would have given it back a long time ago if I could have ever reached someone.

The in-store experience was great. We chose a bedroom set and set a date for delivery. The delivery people were professional. However, one of the pieces of furniture had a deep scratch in the wood that looked like a saw mark. It was not in a location where it would have been damaged in delivery. I immediately reported the defect and sent in multiple pictures. I was told that Ashley's policy is to send a technician out to try to repair the defect prior to an item being replaced. I explained that it would be impossible to restore a wooden item to "new" condition when there was a gouge taken out of the wood. They insisted. I took another morning off work to wait for the technician who did a quality job trying to fill in the groove. While the "repair" did improve the look of the defect, it is still obvious that it was filled in. The technician took photos and filled out a report indicating that he had done his best, but that it was not fully repaired to "new" condition. When I spoke to Ashley customer service again, they indicated that I would have to schedule another technician to come and look at the piece to decide what to do. This is extremely frustrating. The time off work for multiple technicians to look at an obviously damaged piece and the time on the phone with long periods on hold are unacceptable ways to address the issue of a factory damaged piece. Ashley should have simply offered to replace the item in the first place.

Moved to the area recently. Came in to look at couches and was greeted by Adam Claridge. He was pleasant and very helpful. He also provided us with movers to help us move the couch. Highly recommend this store and Adam. Thanks for all the help!

I lost my home to fire and had to go through the painful process of replacing everything in it, including all my furniture. Marcus was extraordinarily understanding and compassionate, giving two entire days of his time to walk me through what I’d need - and want - in each room. He made what could have been a continual tearful journey just a little bit brighter. Moriah, at Ashley Furniture Store near Capital on Cooper Point Road, is what every sales person should be. She was attentive without being overbearing, laid-back but responsive. She knew I wasn’t ready to purchase right at the moment and she didn’t ditch me. Moriah was friendly and answered my questions as best as she could, and when she couldn’t, she went and found the answer. A++ As far as the store itself, there are plenty of options at every price point. I have purchased many different pieces from Ashley furniture in the past. Having made many military moves I can say that Ashley furniture holds up. (Military moves are hard on furniture!) And then there is just every day life with children. The furniture still looks good and holds up. Great price point AND good quality.

Now that we have our furniture, we want to extend the biggest THANK YOU to Moriah from this store in Olympia. My husband and I came in with a few ideas and she spent hours with us trying to figure out what would work with our home. She looked at pictures of the home, listened to our needs and helped us find the best furniture for out living room, our dining room table and even a new bed. Over the course of 2 days I think she spent 5-6 hours with us making sure every detail was right. I have never connected to someone this well when shopping like this. She did not try to upsell us on things that we didn't need and she was funny and kind (even with our 2.5 year old with us the second day). If I could rate higher than a 5 then I would. Today 4/1/2024 I went to the Olympia Ashley store on Cooper Point Rd SE to hopefully purchase a single recliner for me. As I am only 5 ft, my request to find a smaller sized, non motorized one in fabric was my main request. David Mino was my customer representative and listened to my requests , directing me to several locations in the store where I could browse at my leisure. After 20 minutes I had narrowed my search to 3 possibilities. The one I finally chose was just right but possibly not in the color I wanted. With help from two of his associates, that chair could be ordered in the color desired and my purchase with delivery dates was completed very quickly. I was impressed with David's knowledge of the furniture from the manufacturing side, his helpful analysis of why one of the chairs just didn't fit me well, and offerings of a warranty for five years for stain/repair were given. Information about the delivery process including days to my location delivery, time to be determined when notification call will be received was given orally and in a well written print copy. I had purchased from Ashley about 5 years ago bedroom furniture and one of the reasons I came back to Ashley was for the quality and service I received then. Don't shop here. If anything goes wrong they give you a case #, nobody calls you or fixes anything. Tired of poor customer service. The delivery driver dropped part of the headboard on my son's bed set which causes cosmetic damage. For a brand new bed set that cost $2000 it's sad they didn't take care in the delivery process or building it. The delivery drivers left trash all around my house inside and out. White glove delivery isn't white glove it's leaving trash all over with broken Styrofoam everywhere. After going in to seek customer service I was only given a sticky note with a case # on it. They all seemed like they didn't care. Said I'd receive a call in a few days to hear nothing back. Won't be shopping or recommending using this business or going anywhere near another Ashley store. Seek out better customer service at Mor furniture. They actually listen, care, and take care of their customers.

Kelley is absolutely AMAZING! She helped us with the colors and finding the perfect loveseat and sofas. She gave us total estimates as well so we had a list and could narrow it down. She didn't hesitate with any requests we had an her customer service was outstanding

I asked to see the lowest priced items of what they had because I’m on a budget and in a hurry. The employee decided to show me stuff that was not the cheapest. I found the frame I wanted myself. The employee didn’t help me in the way I requested but I’m satisfied with what I purchased, satisfied with the price and he was still a nice guy in the end. He was just too focused on the “sales” part of his job and less on customer satisfaction and requests. I’m still grateful for the service.

I had a wonderful experience at this store. I am moving out of state and was hoping to make a purchase here and have it delivered to my new place. There were several logistical issues the staff had to work through in order to make this happen and get me the financing I wanted. They went above and beyond working with me. Sales, the store manager, operations, and tech support all did a great job and made exceptions to help me out.

Ordered a bed and it took six months to get. Went into the store to see what was going on and they weren't much help.

This was a great buying experience for me. Not only do they have a very good selection, but the most important aspect for me was the sales person, Elizabeth (Olympia location). She was very knowledgeable, helpful and considerate of what our needs were. She had some great input and it helped us with our selections with zero pressure to buy.

I hate Ashley furniture. I ordered a sofa for my son for Christmas and on the day it was to be delivered I found out they canceled the order because the delivery location was different from the address on my credit card. Who does that? Then I went to the showroom store and they said the had the sofa in stock and I could pick it up at the warehouse so I bought it again. Got home. Called the warehouse and they did not have it in stock but would be 2 weeks out!!! Bait and switch.

Sales experience was very good. Quality merchandise, sales service was excellent. Taking possession of merchandise is another story. I would only give a 2.5.

We had a wonderful experience picking out a sofa chaise along with a matching bookcase. From the moment we walked through the door, Elizabeth greeted us, took us to all the different things we were looking for, provided advice, and provided us all the options. The price for the furniture was excellent based upon the quality, as was the personal service. This is one of the best experiences we’ve had in visiting a furniture store.

I bought many new furniture pieces from Ashley in Olympia, and although I am happy with the quality, I did receive an ottoman that is not intended for the couch that I purchased. I bought the smaller couch and the ottoman is only intended for the larger couch. It does not tuck into the space it should and it hangs over by several inches on each side. I called the store within 2 hours of delivery and was told there is nothing they can do. I needed to refuse it on delivery. When I told them that I didn’t know it was too big, until after delivery and pieces were fully arranged, they said sorry, no return or store credit. This is not a great business model. I was a first time Ashely customer, and now a last time customer. Makes me sad…don’t let the delivery team leave before you fully inspect and arrange to your liking, even if it takes hours.

Writing a google review because Ashley censors the product reviews on their website. My review here is uncensored and is referring to the Enola sectional collection. Absolutely awful! Cheap! We purchased this sectional October 2022, by Jan/Feb 2023 we were fighting with Ashley to honor the warranty we paid extra for. The cushions sagged and became flat in less than 3 months, thus causing the fabric to buckle/ripple. There are just 2 of us and we are fit and trim people; not overweight at all! Combined we weigh approximately less than 300 #'s.....a couch should not break down that fast. After months of hassles with Ashley (another issue altogether and we will not shop with them again - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!), we were finally sent 4 new seat cushions. Those cushions were great for about 2 months, if that. Ashley is not worth the headache nor hassle to get them to honor the warranty of this cheaply made product. Now in the last month, the couch creaks when you sit on it.....it's probably only a matter of time before it just completely fails. The ONLY decent part of this entire sectional is that the throw pillows are filled with down (the feather poke through the fabric), but at least they are actually holding up. This sectional is going to be replaced and thrown in the trash where it belongs. This was Ashley's response to why my review was not being published: "Our website is dedicated to product reviews and we appreciate your input on the product itself. As it’s a product review site. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we look forward to having you as a returning customer."
