Bought a couch over the phone in January (sales person was great) but then got a call a month later saying my payment never went through and I had to make the payment again. I told them I paid for it and got confirmation of the payment & I could see it on my bank statement. They told me it’s not showing on their end and asked would I like to take care of the unpaid bill? I said no, I already paid it. They gave me an ultimatum either I drive 1hr to their store with proof or they would take it corporate… I asked them to look into it again and maybe talk to the sales person. They refused, and it could only be resolved with me showing proof… Finally they gave me the option to email proof, which I did. I called them back after, only to find out it was an internal error on their part (some kind of paperwork on their end wasn’t submitted properly). I’m not sure I’ll do business with them again.

My husband and I decide last minute to go furniture shopping. We were tired and not Looking our best. We went to a couple of stores with no luck. When we walked into Ashley’s I felt comfortable right away. We did walk past a couple of employees who did not address us. However as soon as Maurice saw us he approached and asked if we needed help. He was extremely helpful. He asked us our needs, took us to the area we needed and stayed with us, yet giving us space to make decisions. He explained the warranty, delivery dates etc leaving no unanswered questions. I am excited about my purchase.

My husband and I were in need of a new bed, mattress, and several other furniture pieces. We had purchased our entertainment unit and couch from the Tacoma location within the last 3 years and were very happy with our experience, so we decided to return for our next purchase. We were helped by Toni and Eddie, and let me just say that we were incredibly impressed with the plethora of knowledge that Eddie had regarding each mattress from the very beginning! He asked all the right questions, most of which had never crossed my mind that made all the difference, and they had us test certain mattresses specifically based solely off our answers. He thought of every detail to match us with something within our budget and needs. He was mighty friendly and honest which was a breath of fresh air! After we found the perfect mattress and bed frame, Toni was kind and patient enough to help answer the remaining questions I had regarding nightstands, rugs, and several other pieces of furniture. She answered every single question and even assisted with measurements so I could better visualize how certain things would look in size. She was very easy to talk to and work with! she and Eddie stayed with us until we were absolutely satisfied with everything we had picked out and every question had been addressed. Eddie also worked with our budget and then some! Everything they did for us was deeply appreciated! We even found a coffee table at the very end we fell in love with and got a great deal thanks to our reps! Finally, Cathi over in the financing area was a delight to speak with. She even reminded us that we still had a warranty on our couch that we had previously purchased a few years back. She was very kind and friendly as well. I have already recommended a few friends and family to this Ashley’s location based off another amazing experience! Overall, what makes for an extraordinary experience all lies in the representatives you get and how they choose to assist the customer. We were not followed, pressured, or rushed during our time there. We were VERY happy with Toni and Eddie and thank them for their brilliant customer service!

Our shopping experience was great. We were greeted promptly. When we told the store representative what we were looking for, they explained the store layout and invited us to browse. They then cicled back and led us around while fielding our questions. We eventually purchased a rug and the process was efficient. A very pleasurable experience.

This is hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I ordered a couch around December 7th with an original delivery date of January 27th. That date was later changed to February 10th, which I reluctantly accepted. A week before delivery, I received a confirmation text from the chatbot “Jenny” stating the couch would be delivered on February 10, 2026, and requiring me to select a delivery time because someone had to be present to sign. I took a full day off work specifically for this delivery. The delivery window came and went with absolutely nothing—no couch, no call, no message. When I contacted customer service, I was casually informed that the delivery had been pushed yet again, this time to February 21, 2026, without any notification to me. The agent I spoke with was completely clueless and offered zero accountability or solutions. At this point, even a chatbot would have been more helpful. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. I will never shop at Ashley again—not even for free. This entire experience has been a complete waste of my time and a textbook example of how not to treat customers.

I needed to purchase a new loveseat and went to Ashley. They had what I wanted and the Sales person was very efficient and had us out of the store in a very short time. The day of the delivery was very good also. I will do business with Ashley when I need to make a furniture purchase again.
